Overall, Da Nang is much more international than Nha Trang, with quite a few white women from other countries.

With ChatGPT, you can keep looking at the woman while speaking, and she can feel your facial expressions and emotions instead of the two of you looking down at your phones.

Third, AI understands content based on context. Even if your expression is incomplete, it can automatically fill in the meaning, and the translation is much more natural than traditional translation software.

I’ll split it into two parts. There were indeed quite a few setbacks and quite a bit of drama; the difficulties never stopped coming.

Ho Chi Minh City

When I first arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, I didn’t have high expectations.

I didn’t plan to stay long, so I checked into the cheapest hostel I could find. It was less than 50 yuan a night, including breakfast, in a 4-person dorm. I thought it was okay.

I had a bit of a flirtatious vibe with a French girl, but with all sorts of restrictions and mismatched schedules—plus she left early—we never ended up hooking up.

I was feeling pretty lazy, so I left after three days.

Mui Ne & Da Lat

After leaving Ho Chi Minh City, I went to Mui Ne.

Mui Ne is a relatively quiet seaside tourist town, but I personally didn’t like it much. It felt overly commercialized, and the beach was mostly blocked off by resorts and hotels.

Also, the place is quite small, and life wasn’t very convenient, especially considering my cash issues at the time.

There weren’t many people around anyway, and the foreign tourists were almost entirely Russians—I barely saw any white women from other countries.

So, I quickly decided to head to Da Lat, the legendary mountain town.

Of course, if you had cash, prices here were quite cheap. But for me at that moment, this was a dealbreaker.

What made it worse was the huge temperature difference between day and night, combined with the dampness. I threw my back out when I woke up in the morning.

I decided to leave that very day and head to the warmer climate of Nha Trang.

There were even fewer white women in Da Lat—I only spotted a scattering of them in the old town.

If your goal is to meet white women, these two places aren’t really suitable.

Nha Trang

When I arrived in Nha Trang, I had originally planned to find an Airbnb apartment, which would be more convenient for bringing girls back.

So I checked into a hotel as a temporary stop. The place was pretty decent—it had a gym, a swimming pool, and a buffet breakfast. The two front-desk Vietnamese girls were very enthusiastic and even gave me a good discount.

At first, things seemed smooth.

The two Vietnamese girls at the front desk were exceptionally warm towards me, clearly beyond normal service, and even took the initiative to get my contact info.

To be honest, my first impression of Phuket wasn’t great.

I started off in Phuket Old Town. I didn’t find it that interesting. Apart from the bustling Sunday Night Market and a few bars, it felt pretty ordinary the rest of the time — not the kind of place that makes you want to stay long-term.

Then I went to Patong Beach. It’s Phuket’s most famous beach, but I personally dislike it.

Later, I moved to Kata Beach and Karon Beach, and only then did I realize: Phuket isn’t actually as bad as I thought.

Phuket’s overall layout is actually quite simple

1｜Nai Yang Beach

Closest to the airport.

It’s actually quite pretty and relatively quiet, but it’s not great for socializing.

Some of you have already gotten past the stage of being afraid to open your mouth and can do cold approaches fairly naturally — that’s great. But at this stage, it’s actually easy to go off track.

One of the most common mistakes is thinking you need to set aside dedicated time every day to approach — going to the mall every day, hitting the clubs every week on a fixed schedule, giving yourself a quota of how many to approach per day.

There’s really no need.

A better approach is to integrate approaching into your daily life, rather than turning it into a task.

Just go about your normal routine — on the street, on the subway, in the mall — when you see someone suitable, go over and chat for a bit. It’s that simple.

Here’s a logic that many people don’t fully grasp: after you’ve passed the beginner phase, the marginal returns on approaching diminish.

When you’re still afraid to open your mouth, you do need deliberate practice — approach more often.

But once you can normally open and carry a conversation, after a few consecutive hours of approaching, your state declines, quality drops, and it even becomes mechanical.

At that point, piling on more time doesn’t make much sense.

A more reasonable pace: spend two or three hours a week, maybe concentrated on the weekend. If you run into someone during your daily routine, approach then — no need to go looking for it.

What really determines the outcome isn’t how many times you approach — it’s the conversion rate.

First mistake: False Equivalence

He said Ukraine and Poland are easier than Germany, therefore Germany is Hell Mode.

But that doesn’t prove Germany is Hell Mode at all. The more likely scenario is: those two places are actually “Easy Mode” themselves.

Just because something is harder than Easy Mode doesn’t make it Hell Mode.

Using an “easier sample” to compare against “normal difficulty” and then concluding “normal = hell” is a classic false equivalence.

Even a primary school kid could figure out this logic.

Here’s a simple reference for you:

German women vs. Chinese women—which are harder?

My personal take is that Chinese women are harder—more materialistic, more gender antagonism, more conservative about sex. Plus, overall, in terms of physical attractiveness, Chinese women aren’t on par with white women. (Simply put, I think German girls are prettier.) I have way more options there.

Chinese women make up about 25% of the global female population. The other 25% from India aren’t any better either, not to mention their body odor issues.

So you’ll notice that although this guy is in Germany, he hasn’t picked up the Germans’ rigorous, logical way of thinking at all. He hasn’t improved at all—his communication is full of logical holes.

III. Why does he find Russia, Ukraine, and Poland easy, but fail in Germany?

Because countries with weaker economies (Ukraine and Russia have poor economies) naturally have a filter for economically powerful countries. Add in the traditional Eastern Slavic culture of men being the breadwinners and women being homemakers, and economic factors carry a lot of weight.

In Ukraine, it’s normal to go with whoever has more money. Women place social status and money in an important position. When you give them the impression of being rich and wealthy, of course you’ll be popular.

But that doesn’t mean you have sexual charisma—it’s just money doing the work.

Many Chinese men have no communication skills and no sexual charisma, so they throw money around and think it’s easy. This gives them the illusion that girls in those countries are easy to get.

Similarly, in recent years, many Chinese men have gone to Southeast Asia and found it easy as well—also because China’s economy is strong there, and it has nothing to do with sexual attractiveness.

Naturally, when they return to Germany and encounter economically and emotionally independent German women, the frustration kicks in.

IV. Why are German girls more tolerant and approachable than in other developed countries (USA, Australia, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy)?

The key reason: Germany is the only country in the world that truly has a sense of guilt and genuine reflection about WWII.

For many people, Latin America is still a fairly vague concept.

Based on my own experiences, there are a few things I’d add that differ from what you’ll typically find in standard travel guides.

1. Argentina Isn’t Really That “Latin American”

Let’s start with something that surprises many first-time visitors.

Argentina doesn’t feel as “Latin American” as people expect.

Although both Argentina and Colombia are Spanish-speaking countries, their overall atmosphere is completely different.

Colombia is much closer to what most people imagine when they think of Latin America:

• Higher levels of ethnic mixing

• Lively urban environments

• A distinctly Latin American vibe

Broadly speaking, most people fall into one of two categories.

Option 1: Cultural Exploration

If your primary goal is cultural immersion, then Brazil and Colombia are the more representative choices.

Both countries offer:

• Stronger Latin American cultural identity

• More ethnic diversity and mixing

• More vibrant street life

• A stronger sense of local energy

Ironically, Argentina is probably the least representative of the three when it comes to traditional Latin American culture.

Option 2: Dating and Daygame

If your focus is more on dating and meeting women during the day, the equation changes.

From a physical-preference standpoint:

• Argentina

• Southern Brazil

tend to align more closely with people who prefer European features.

However, there’s an important factor many people overlook:

Language.

In Brazil, Portuguese is often essential.

Without it, interactions can be significantly more difficult.

Argentina is somewhat different.

You’ll generally find:

• Better English proficiency

• More international exposure

• A stronger European influence

• A mature social and nightlife scene

Overall, Argentina can be a more forgiving environment for foreign visitors.

4. The Reality Most People Ignore: Brazil Is Huge

Many travelers underestimate just how large Brazil is.

For example:

If you only have one month and want to visit:

• São Paulo

• Rio de Janeiro

you’ve already used up two or three weeks.

The challenge is that many of Brazil’s most European-influenced regions are actually in the south.

Examples include:

• Florianópolis

• Porto Alegre

• Curitiba

These cities generally have:

• Higher proportions of European ancestry

• A more European atmosphere

• Different cultural dynamics from Rio or São Paulo

If you only have one month, covering São Paulo, Rio, and Southern Brazil becomes difficult.

That’s where itinerary planning starts getting complicated.

5. Three Months Is Better Suited to Two Countries

Many people automatically think:

Three months = Three countries.

In practice, because Brazil is so large, I often think:

Three months = Two countries.

The reason is simple.

It takes time to genuinely understand a place.

If you want to understand local culture rather than just check landmarks off a list, spending at least a week—and preferably several weeks—in each city makes much more sense.

Three countries in three months is possible.

But it’s already moving toward the rushed side.

6. Two Completely Different Travel Strategies

Based on everything above, I generally see two viable approaches.

Strategy 1: Exploration Mode

If this is your first trip to Latin America, consider:

• Brazil: 1 month

• Colombia: 1 month

• Argentina: 1 month

The goal isn’t necessarily dating success or deep immersion.

The goal is research.

You want to discover:

• Which culture you enjoy most

• Which dating environment suits you best

• Which country you might want to spend more time in later

Think of it as an exploratory mission.

Strategy 2: Focus Mode

The second approach is learning to eliminate one country.

If your priority is experiencing Latin American culture:

Choose:

• Brazil

• Colombia

and skip Argentina.

If your priority is:

• Physical preference compatibility

• Daygame

then consider:

• Argentina

• Brazil

and skip Colombia.

There’s also a practical language consideration.

If your Portuguese isn’t ready yet, it may make sense to focus exclusively on Spanish-speaking countries.

One thing to remember, however:

Argentine Spanish has a very distinctive accent and vocabulary, so it can take some adjustment even if your Spanish is already decent.

7. Final Thought: What You See Depends on How You Live

One final observation.

What you experience in a country depends heavily on:

• Your language ability

• Your lifestyle

• Whether you genuinely integrate into local social circles

Many of my experiences in Brazil are very different from those of the average digital nomad.

The reason is simple:

Different language skills.

Different lifestyles.

Different levels of integration.

That’s why you’ll often hear completely contradictory advice about the same country.

In reality, those differences usually come down to one thing:

How deeply each person enters the society they’re visiting.

Before leaving, I stayed in three different areas: three nights in Phuket Old Town, one night in Patong Beach, and my final two nights at Kata Beach. In total, about six days and five nights.

This happened on my last night in Kata.

A couple of days earlier, I had gone on a date with a Lithuanian girl. To be honest, I didn’t spend much time enjoying the beach because we spent most of the afternoon together by the water. Nothing ended up happening between us. She was relatively conservative—or perhaps the attraction just wasn’t quite strong enough. Either way, it didn’t go anywhere.

So yesterday afternoon, I decided to take a walk along the beach and do a bit of approaching.

The Beach Approach

There are a lot of Russians in Phuket.

As I was walking along Kata Beach, somewhere around the middle section, I noticed a towel with a Brazilian flag design spread out on the sand.

Standing next to it was a very attractive, curvy woman in a tiny bikini.

I walked over and asked if she was Brazilian.

She said yes.

So I immediately switched to Portuguese.

The conversation flowed naturally from there.

It was around 5 p.m.

She was indeed Brazilian, and She worked as a performer and had traveled extensively throughout Asia.

Not long after we started talking, she invited me to sit on her towel, and we chatted about her travels, work, and life experiences.

Things Heat Up

Around 6 p.m., the sun started setting and the beach gradually became quieter.

As we kept talking, we exchanged Instagram accounts—she was actually the one who asked first—and she showed me some photos.

At some point I felt the moment was right, so I pulled her into a hug.

She didn’t pull away.

We started kissing.

We continued making out on the beach. Since we’d been rolling around in the sand, there was sand everywhere, so I brushed it off her while teasing and flirting with her.

She was in fantastic shape—fit, curvy, and clearly someone who took care of herself.

Logistically, it wasn’t very practical.

She seemed disappointed as well and told me I absolutely had to come back and see her again.

At that point, it was obvious to me that the attraction wasn’t the issue. The issue was logistics.

Into the Water

I looked around.

We were sitting in the middle section of Kata Beach. After sunset, the area had become increasingly empty. I could barely see anyone nearby. Most of the remaining people were farther away along the beach.

The atmosphere felt surprisingly private.

There were basically two options:

• Find a darker and more secluded spot.

• Head into the water.

There weren’t really any better hidden locations nearby.

After spending the past three weeks in Bali, staying at least one week in each of the island’s three hottest areas — Canggu, Uluwatu, and Ubud — I feel like I now have a much more detailed understanding of the place.

Overall, I think Bali is actually an extremely good place for meeting girls.

Why do I say that?

There’s a type of accommodation here that’s not very common in Thailand or Brazil: guest houses.

Usually the setup is like this: you get your own private room and private bathroom as standard. Most places also have a shared swimming pool and kitchen.

And there’s one especially interesting thing about guest houses: when they sell the room, the default pricing is already for two people.

In other words, whether you stay alone or bring a girl back with you, the price stays the same. They usually won’t charge extra or bother you about it.

So from the perspective of bringing girls home, Bali is much friendlier than Thailand.

Another obvious characteristic of Bali as a tourist destination is that there’s a very noticeable separation between the lives of Western tourists and locals.

This place attracts a huge number of Western white girls, whether they’re short-term travelers or long-term digital nomads. The density is very high.

To some extent, the structure here is actually somewhat similar to Thailand: Western men can choose from some local girls, but Western girls often have difficulty choosing local men because the wealth gap is simply too large.

So from a population structure perspective, this is actually a place with a lot of opportunities.

Comparing the Three Areas for Day Game

This time I mainly stayed in three places:

• Canggu

• Uluwatu

• Ubud

I spent a decent amount of time in each place and could clearly feel some differences.

Canggu

Canggu is basically one of the busiest areas in all of Bali.

Whether it’s night game, day game, or online dating, the overall number of opportunities is the highest here.

The advantages are obvious.

First, the population density is high. There are tons of Western tourists, digital nomads, and vacationers.

Second, dating and approaching are extremely convenient. Many times you can just walk twenty minutes or take a ten-minute scooter ride to reach a great spot.

So from an efficiency perspective, it’s actually very high.

But the downsides are also obvious.

First, it’s the most expensive area.

Second, the traffic is extremely chaotic. There’s basically no public transportation, so the roads are filled with random scooters everywhere.

If you’re the kind of person who hates messy traffic environments, Canggu can become very annoying.

But if you don’t mind those issues, Canggu definitely has the most opportunities.

Uluwatu

This time I specifically stayed in Uluwatu for a while, although unfortunately I happened to hit rainy weather, so the experience was slightly discounted.

Uluwatu’s biggest advantage is definitely the beaches.

If you’re someone with high standards for beaches and you like cleaner, prettier beaches, then Uluwatu is genuinely a very good choice.

The prices here are also much cheaper. Whether it’s food or accommodation, overall it’s noticeably cheaper than Canggu.

But Uluwatu also has several obvious problems.

First, the location is quite remote. It’s basically at one end of the island, so going anywhere else takes a long time.

Second, the population density is relatively low and everything feels spread out.

Even the beaches themselves are far from each other, and the foot traffic isn’t very concentrated.

So from a day game perspective, it’s actually not especially ideal.

However, one interesting thing is that if you do online game, the match quality here can actually be better.

Because in Uluwatu, many girls also struggle to meet new people in real life, so on dating apps it’s easier to match with some surprisingly good or horny girls.

Ubud

Ubud has the best public transportation system.

For example, from the airport to Ubud, you can actually take public transport here. The ticket costs around 4,400 rupiah, which converts to less than two RMB — ridiculously cheap.

The roads in Ubud are also built relatively well, and the population density around the town center is decent enough, so day game feels pretty smooth overall.

The crowd here is also a little different from Canggu.

In terms of prices, Ubud sits roughly between Canggu and Uluwatu.
