It was not only the violent shaking of the earth beneath us, but also a profound shaking within me as I faced the possibility of lives being lost and homes being destroyed. For what felt like an eternity, it seemed as though everything had stopped. And then, after that frightening minute, came a sense of a new beginning, a second chance, and a profound awareness of the Divine presence surrounding us.

As the earth was moving beneath our feet, many of us instinctively prayed and surrendered. I sat on the ground, recited the Pranic Healing Great Invocation, and gently pleaded with Mother Earth to do what she needed to do for herself, while asking that the impact on human beings, animals, and homes be as minimal as possible.

My faith in the Divine and in the power of Pranic Healing has supported me, both physically and spiritually, time and time again. Moments like this remind me that when we can move from fear into faith, even in the midst of uncertainty, we can find a place of peace, calm, and renewal.

Something else touched me deeply. Any frustration, anger, annoyance or feelings of ungratefulness I had been carrying before the earthquake simply fell away. What remained was gratitude, compassion, humility and amazing faith.

At the same time, my heart is especially with those who have suffered loss, with those who have lost loved ones, homes, a sense of security, or simply the feeling that tomorrow will be okay. For those who are grieving, fear and sorrow are real, and they deserve our compassion, presence, and support. May we hold space for one another without judgment and offer whatever comfort and practical help we can.

Thank you to everyone who has chosen to spread the energy of Faith over Fear through your prayers, loving thoughts, and acts of compassion for our beloved Colombia and for all those around the world who are experiencing hardship because of natural disasters, war, displacement, or loss.

May our collective prayers bring strength to those who are suffering, comfort to those who are grieving, protection to those who are vulnerable, and peace to all beings. All beings!

Watson was usually in the office most days except for the times when he was traveling with his family or simply didn’t feel like coming, so we had many walks together, some walks were very easy and others were more like me walking alone waiting for him to finally realize that I wasn’t going back to pick up that leash. Watson was the most stubborn dog I have ever met and I’ve met many companions. Yes, there were times when I had to promise him food which he will never say no to. Of course I have to be true to my promise or else! He had the memory of an elephant. As a pup, Watson was very curios, energetic, a thief of things that were interesting to him as well as sandwiches, chips, cookies, bread, one time a certain lady’s change bag from her purse and another’s earrings, anything his big head could up and reach and these were many things. There were many times when I had to climb 3 floors up to bring him down from whatever shenanigans he had gotten himself into in other people’s offices. He was banned so many times from many of the offices for bad behavior. He escaped and ran the neighborhood many times, he was known by police and not for good reasons.

Watson had the way to make people feel at ease in his presence, nobody comes to an attorney’s office for fun reasons so he made sure he participated in every client’s meeting, we always joke that he was preparing to be the surprised witness at any trial. He was also very good at bringing you down from your pedestal, if you happen to be in your nice professional suit and didn’t wanted to get any dirt in it, he knew that you were in need of him running to you and his head between your legs, not very polite but I suppose the best way to bring you down to Earth for sure.

As a good food lover that he was, Watson always remember those who had the goodies for him even if they didn’t stop by very frequently. He knew them well and was ready to greet them full force. Of course you had to be ready for the 150+ lbs of pure joy advancing quickly at you!

Unlike his predecesors, Watson lived a life free of cancer. He had some accidents which required surgery although he bounced back rather quickly. I believed that the big difference was the great efforts from his family to switch him from kibble to fresh food, great supplements, more holistic care as he was the recipient of lots of energy work from me. Watson was one of my willing volunteers as I learned every technique I now use on my clients and of course, his great stubborn character, he was going to go when he was good and ready, not a minute before. I was very happy to see him right before his 10th birthday and even though he wasn’t doing his full run towars me I did get the gentle bites as I stroke his huge body. My Bubba!! thank you for the loving times we spent together, thank you for being there for me while I was learning the skills to help so many now. You made my work life fun and easy… most of the time. I will miss you although I know that you’re on Rainbow Bridge taking a long nap on top of a big pile of snow just the way you liked it here!

Deciding when is their time to go is the hardest decision a guardian has to make. Knowing what they have to say, what they wish to happen and honoring their wishes makes it less difficult. You don’t have to do it all alone! That is when an Animal Communicator can help! also with energy work the process can be less painful!

You may know by now that you have the capacity to sense into other people’s energy as well as the energy in places, in objects or in nature. While in nature your energy may feel very light and peaceful, in the city your energy may feel congested and while visiting centuries old towns may feel even heavier maybe even depressive especially in towns that suffered from the pains of war whether recently or long ago and then there were the centuries old towns surrounded by nature, those felt lighter, not as light when walking in a forest but still lighter than the towns were no green was to be seen. Those energies make a big difference in one’s activity level. You can see when you would feel more energetic and eager to do more that day versus the times when you would prefer to take more breaks or start again the next day. The towns with the ocean at its feet were the ones that felt positively stronger because if you feel exhausted from the energy of the old structures you can release it all in those calming salty waters, in case you don’t know, the salt in the ocean is renewing and a great way to release disease and old energies, you can also try this at home adding salt to your bath or soak your feet in it. Being aware of your energy based on who you’re with or where you are help you seek what you need to reset.

We’ve all experienced it: an unexplained heaviness upon meeting someone new or entering a space. Often, we dismiss these feelings because we lack a “logical” explanation. However, our animal companions are deeply attuned to these energetic shifts.

Our animal companions feel this, too. Recently, a client asked how to help their animal companion behave better around strangers. In these cases, there are usually two routes to explore:

1. Energy Healing Support: Addressing the animal’s own anxieties or past traumas so they feel safe in their own skin.

2. Sensitivity: Your companion may be reacting to a lack of balanced energy from a stranger, very much like that “weird feeling” we get.

How to tell the difference? Try this simple practice:

• Ground yourself: Visualize a cord connecting your feet to the center of the Earth.

• Ground your companion: Visualize a similar cord from their belly to the Earth.

• Check-in: How do you feel compared to the moment before this person arrived? Are you restless, annoyed, or calm?

• Ask: Are these feelings mine, or am I picking them up from this person?

The more you practice, the more second nature it becomes. In my client’s case, this practice helped her realize her animal companion wasn’t “misbehaving”, he was sending her a signal to stay away from someone who lacked balanced energy. By listening to him, she realized she didn’t want to be near that person either.

Learning to sense energy in this way is a skill that applies to all areas of life, from problem-solving to deepening your relationships with loved ones. When we listen to the quiet signals our animals send, we often find they are protecting our energy just as much as their own.

Because we are meant to be happy beings, the idea is that you keep going on doing more and more of it. It doesn’t have to take a lot of time or all of your money. Small steps are better than no steps at all. All of us have the drive to help each other and most of us do not know how. It is possible that the type of work you chose may not be serving others the way you thought it would or the way that’s satisfying for your soul. Maybe it doesn’t have to do with changing your work just yet, perhaps only start with gathering information about what you may like and then go on joining a meeting or a class. Always be open to new ideas and you will be surprised to find that the event, the activity, the group that you thought you may not like or you were unsure about is exactly what you have been looking for and what fills you with joy and community and service, something we need more of at all times!

That is what I found in Pranic Healing, not just learning new skills, more healing modalities or the wonderful healers I get to connect with and the great sense of community but the amazing connection with Divine power and with that, the great service that we all get to provide to others (Earth, animals and humans). That feeling is priceless and something I treasure and intend to increase substantially for years to come.

What is energy in our animal companion’s?

That vibrant ‘spark’ they carry, their unique vibe—it’s their Life Force in action! From a wagging tail to a relaxed sigh, our animals constantly communicate their energetic state. When they’re balanced, their energy flows freely, reflecting in their joy and well-being.

But what about Healing for our animal companions? Healing for them is about gently guiding their own system back to harmony. If their energy is stagnant from stress, fear, or discomfort, healing helps to clear those blocks, allowing their innate intelligence to restore balance. It’s helping them choose alignment when life feels overwhelming.

How can you tell if your animal companion needs energy healing?

✨ Changes in behavior or mood: Are you witnessing new and not so positive behaviors? have they become withdrawn and perhaps not interested in the usual games, activities or even food?

I felt called to share this reflection because it beautifully captures so much of what this year has held for me: the quiet, constant dance between reason and faith. A year marked by uprooting myself from the place I called home for 35 years—Pennsylvania—and returning to a land I once knew as a child, rich in diversity, warmth, new rhythms, and familiar roots—Colombia.

I arrived in Colombia with a rather naïve belief that life would unfold much as it always had. Instead, everyday tasks—grocery shopping, appointments, paying bills, dining out, meeting people, running my business—became small adventures of their own. After moments of discomfort and more than a few times questioning my sanity, I found myself falling in love with it all.

I am deeply grateful for the new ways of living, the culture, the unmistakable humor of the people around me, the extensive green and stunning mountains and oh…the sunny days—how grateful I am for the sun. While I miss my loved ones dearly—friends, clients, and family—I must confess I do not miss the bitter cold. Still, I honor its cleansing purpose and feel blessed to have known it for so long.

Lately it seems like we’re surrounded by messages about gratitude — so much so that it can start to feel overwhelming. Almost like you’re doing something wrong if you’re not constantly glowing with thankfulness. The word itself (not the feeling) becomes overused, stretched thin, almost trendy… just another idea everyone follows for a while until it gets replaced by the next big thing — maybe something like how much you “should” spend this Christmas, or how you “should” celebrate, give, show up, or perform.

And it makes you wonder:
What would actually happen if you didn’t follow the script this time?
Truly. What would be the worst that could occur — or maybe the best?

What if, instead of going through the motions, you simply chose to enjoy this season in your own way? To be present. To feel what you’re genuinely feeling. To respond with honesty, kindness, and love — instead of the automatic “whatever” or the silent pressure of doing what’s expected.

What if, this time, you allowed your true self to step forward?
Strong. Grounded. Clear.
Not blown around like a leaf in the wind, trying to keep everyone else happy.

What if… just for once… you chose you?

In picture a very strong “guadual” (groves of the very strong Latin American Guadua Bamboo) nearby choosing to stand alone and surviving just fine against all storms.

At first, that thought felt a little sad… but lately, it feels more like a fresh start. Kind of like when you see a pup’s excitement on a new walk or a cat discovering a new sunny window ledge. My mind and heart are learning new paths, new rhythms, and it feels good—like stretching after a long nap.

Here’s to new beginnings, wagging tails, and the joy of finding comfort in unfamiliar places

There are those times when we simply cannot find the words or the time or the place to express gratitude. Gratefulness even for the smallest experiences, objects, people and animal companions in our lives invites powerfully positive energy capable of improving even the most difficult situations and even illness.

I know people who would never go on vacation only because they do not want to even think about leaving their loving animal companions behind. Just the task of having to find a place or person to care for them, someone who would love them as much as you do makes it so much harder to facilitate planning that get away, although, as we know, life takes many turns and you know that at one point you may have that family emergency or that work trip and you will be forced to deal with the separation no matter what.

Isn’t better to prepare yourself for it so that everything goes smoothly?

I am sure that you have run into the many articles and advise on how to find the best places and people to care for them while you’re away, yes, get them to meet the person or place ahead of time and get a good feeling about them. I believe that animals are the best judges of character and even better energetic sensors to places and people. In my experience, if an animal is comfortable with a place or person that is a perfect sign that all is well because their energetic “radar” is far more advanced and clear than mine.

Yes, do follow your intuition, your gut feeling and while is good to review what others think about the person or place, in the end, each one of us is equipped with our own filters and experience places and people in different ways and their experience (followed by their review) may definitely not be yours.

Yes, do reach out to friends and family first who may be happily willing to take care of your companions for you - perhaps at no charge or for a fair exchange - of course, forcing the non animal lover to care for your animal may not be a great idea especially if they don’t have experience in that field. If you know animals you know how much of a disaster that may be in some cases, yes I’m speaking to the kitty cats human guardians.

Yes, make sure that they have enough food, meds, toys, beds (if allowed), your smell on some of these items to give them some comfort, contact numbers and ways to get information - if possible through pictures and videos, did I mention nanny pet cameras? - of your loving animal companion while you’re away.

These are all the practical things you do before going away.

So what else is there to do?

My beloved Raven and Elijah waiting for us to come home as they sensed us nearby.

There is so much more that you can do to prepare your loving companions before you separate from them and to support them while you’re away as well. We are energetically connected to everything and everyone, this connection is even stronger to those who are dear to us, what this means is that no matter how far away (in miles or kilometers) we are from them WE ARE NEVER APART! how many times have you thought of someone dear to you and you get that text or call? that’s a clear demonstration of our connection with each other. It is called telepathy, the transmission of sounds, images and feelings from one energetic being to another.

Every single one of us have that telepathic ability which can be strengthen through practices like meditation or mindfulness. I know that as you read this, you feel is true.

Consequently, it is even easier to connect with your animal companions as they are so very ready to do so. With that said, here are few easy energetic steps you can take before and while away from them:

1. Verbally express to them that you will away for some time and that you will be right back. I use to tell my doggos and kitty the number of moons I was not going to be physically present with them. Funny enough there were times when their caretakers will tell me that they were extra vigilant on the day I was due back. While telling them this have that image in your mind of kissing them (hugging them, high fiving, shaking paws/hands whatever it is that you do when you leave them) good bye as well as kissing them hello as you walk through the door! they can see those images and understand your message even better.

2. Reassure them that you WILL be back and that its very important that they stay put! again having that image in your mind of coming back and happily greeting them. This will serve as confirmation of what you want them to do while you’re away.

3. Tell them that the place or person they are or they’re with is a safe space and that they will be okay. Here you can visualize them enjoying their time with the person or at the place they are with games, walks, treats, belly rubbings and other fun things they will be experiencing.

4. While you’re away and you think of them, while also checking on them at the place or with the person they are with, whenever you think of them, close your eyes and in your mind bring them close to your heart and remind them how much you love them, miss them and how amazing they are doing this whole “good boy/good girl’ thing while you’re away and again confirm that you will be right back to them, yes, virtual kisses, hugs, etc.. apply here and also tell them how much you want them to enjoy themselves while you’re away.

5. Enjoy your time away or if this is not exactly a time to enjoy, at least have the peace of mind that you and them are all well throughout your time separated from each other.

6. TRUST, ENJOYMENT, PEACE OF MIND, TRUST are key through this process!

On the actual day of fireworks or a storm, your animal will likely be in fight-or-flight mode, making it harder for new techniques to take hold. At that point, they'll be focused solely on soothing themselves, which might not always be the safest behavior.

To help prevent accidents and injuries on the day of the event, ensure they're in a safe, enclosed area with fresh water and perhaps their favorite toys. Playing soothing music, like calming frequencies for animals, in the background can also help block out external noise and create a more peaceful environment.

The reality is, as a loving guardian, this decision often falls to you. You might want to avoid it, to pretend everything is fine, but ultimately, it's a responsibility you took on when you welcomed them into your life. You promised to care for them—to feed them well, provide exercise, offer shelter, and give them healthcare. What no one truly prepares you for is the profound responsibility of knowing when to let them go, to prevent unnecessary pain and suffering, even when their discomfort isn't always obvious.

When is the right time? This is a question I hear frequently. My simple answer is: Ask them. Your pet can offer direct confirmation of how they're feeling and whether they're ready. I also believe that if you pay close enough attention, you will intuitively know when it's time to say goodbye.

Making the last …. count!

While this is an incredibly painful experience, you can find comfort by focusing on the joy and love you both share. Spend time together in your favorite places, even if it means simply sitting and watching the world go by instead of your usual long walks or hikes. Adapt your usual games to ensure your companion's comfort. Anything that lifts both your spirits, even for a few moments each day, is valuable.

Choose to send them your best energy and loving thoughts, rather than dwelling on worries about their health or what's to come. They know you're in pain, and the last thing they want is for you to suffer too. Make these final moments, days, or weeks the absolute best they can be. Push aside any guilt or "should have, could have, would have" thoughts. Instead, remind yourself of the immense blessings and beautiful times you've shared—all the good, funny, and unforgettable moments, yes the times when they destroy your place and now you can laugh about also count. They've given you their absolute best throughout their lives; now it's your turn to show them your boundless love and gratitude for the privilege of having them in your life, for being their chosen guardian for the time you were meant to be together.

It's not Goodbye, It's a shift

Understand that this isn't a final goodbye; it's a temporary separation, a change in form from the physical to the beyond. They still exist, they can still hear your loving words and thoughts, and they can still let you know they're with you, if only you ask. They never leave you!

You don’t have to be an Animal Communicator to understand them and they don’t have to speak human to understand us. You already know that animals communicate among themselves with their barks, gestures, growls, sounds, singing, smells and so many more ways. One of them is through their capacity to connect with each other.

Observe a flock of birds for example and you can’t help to wonder how is it that they can “dance” in complete unison as if they practiced and practiced for a long time before they perform for us this beautiful show. This is called Morphic Resonance, it is a collective memory, a connection beyond sounds. It is nature’s wisdom at its best. Energy attracting similar energies and allowing to be guided as a group. This connection goes beyond time and distance. Like attracting like. This is how animals have the extraordinary ability to find their way to the same preferred places during certain times of the year. They’re guided by their own energy connected to their collective memories of those same habits.

A similar connection happens with us when we find people who like what we like as we listen to our own wisdom and become more clear on what we really want/like/enjoy we tend to connect with others who are on that same path too. Our morphic field strengthens and we attract what or who we really need. We also create a morphic resonance in our own homes when we learn to coexist in harmony with those we love and as it is their nature, animals understand that morphic field very well by learning to go with our own rhythms, reading our moves and gestures without the need for words from us, without needing to be next to us.

Telepathy is a natural ability in all of us. It is not paranormal. We have it, all of us, and our animals tap on that ability all the time. Children are very good at this too without even knowing it. Through telepathy is how you know that your dear friend may need your help at this moment and as that thought crosses your mind you get a text or a call from said friend. Think about the amount of times you used telepathy in your daily life. These events are not coincidences, these are examples of your amazing ability to communicate without words. It is a skill that every single one of us can strengthen if we really want to. That is how our animals can communicate with us without speaking and if you work on it, so can you. That is how your animals know when you’re coming home and they wait at the door as you’re approaching your home and you’re not yet within visual reach, its the telepathy within that harmonious morphic field that is your home, your family!
