The trips we’ve done with creators have been so much fun and have helped us introduce TMC to so many new people, but this year one of our biggest priorities has been figuring out how we can pour that same energy back into the community that is already here showing up for us every single day.

Because you guys are the reason TMC has become what it is!

You’re sharing your workouts, tagging us in your stories, telling your friends about the programs you love, encouraging each other, and bringing new people into this community all the time. And it has never mattered to me whether you have 500 followers or 500,000. You guys genuinely are our biggest cheerleaders, and I don’t think I could ever fully explain how much that means to me.

When I first started The Movement Club, of course I wanted to create workouts that people loved. But my dream has always been for it to feel like so much more than just another workout app. I wanted it to feel like a place where women could come to move their bodies, feel supported, celebrate each other, and actually feel like they’re part of something.

And as TMC continues to grow, it’s really important to me that the people who helped us build this community get to be part of where we go next. So after years of you asking if you could come on one of our trips…

• Be 18 years or older

• Be a current TMC member OR participating in a TMC free trial during the application period

• Be available for the full trip from October 16–19

• Be comfortable being photographed and/or filmed throughout the experience

And yes, if you aren’t currently a TMC member, you can still apply while participating in a free trial! Just know that you’ll need to become a TMC subscription member before final selections are made in order to be eligible for the trip.

I cannot believe Sage is old enough to be in kindergarten, and now June is officially in preschool, which means I have two girls going to school. It’s one of those milestones that feels so exciting and so sad at the exact same time. I’m so proud of them, they’re both so happy, and seeing how much they’re growing is the best thing ever. But also... where did my babies go?!

Rhode Pocket Blush

Okay this COLOR. I’ve been loving warmer makeup lately, and the Rhode Pocket Blush in Freckle is so pretty. It gives you that warm, sun-kissed flush without needing to do a full face of makeup, which is very much where I’m at right now 😂If you ever see me use a blush during one of my GRWM’s, just know it’s probably this!

Perelel Cellular Hydration Powder

Hydration has obviously been a huge priority for me postpartum, especially while breastfeeding, and I’ve been loving the Perelel Cellular Hydration Powder.

It has electrolytes plus collagen and hyaluronic acid, and it’s specifically made to be safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. I’ve just been trying to be really intentional about keeping water near me at all times, and adding something like this makes it a little easier to actually stay on top of it.

Matching sets will forever have my heart, but especially in this stage of life where I want to be extra comfy and still feel somewhat put together!

You guys know how much time Sage and June have been spending at tennis lately, so obviously I cannot resist the tiny tennis outfits!!

The Courtside Kids Fall Floral Court Dress might be one of the cutest things ever. I love the floral print and the little sporty silhouette. It feels perfect for that end-of-summer/beginning-of-fall transition, and I already know the girls are going to look so cute matching in it. I also got them these adorable visors and shoes from Amazon.

Back-to-School Snack Finds

We’re officially back in the school routine, which means I am once again thinking about snacks ALL. THE. TIME. 😂 I recently grabbed these from Amazon and these too, and they’ve been perfect to have on hand for school.

Anything that makes packing lunches and grabbing snacks on the way out the door a little easier is an immediate win for me right now! I’ve been trying to mix something sweet with something savory when I pack the girls’ snacks. Sage especially loves cheese (great extra protein) with fruit, or a salty chip with some cut-up strawberries!

So many of you have been asking what it was like being back on stage, especially just seven weeks postpartum, so I thought I’d answer some of your biggest questions that you asked!

💃 “What was your favorite dance of the weekend?”

This is honestly impossible because I had two moments that meant so much to me for completely different reasons.

The first was dancing with Rylee! We’ve never actually shared the stage like that before as two professional dancers, so getting to come back postpartum and dance together felt surreal. It was one of those moments where I looked around and thought, “How is this real?”

We’ve taken enough flights and road trips now that I’ve found the little tricks and products I always pack. If you’re traveling with babies or toddlers anytime soon, hopefully a few of these help you too!

1. Don’t overpack... but don’t under-pack either

I used to think I needed to bring absolutely everything “just in case.” Now I’ve learned that packing smart is way more important than packing more!

I always make sure I have:

• Extra outfits for everyone (especially me 😂)

• Snacks

• Diapers & wipes

• One or two favorite toys

• A change of clothes that’s easy to grab

2. Babywearing is my best friend

One of the biggest game changers has been wearing Hayes through the airport. It keeps my hands free to help Sage and June, makes security so much easier, and usually helps him stay calm while we’re moving around.

3. Protect naps whenever you can

A well-rested baby makes the whole trip more enjoyable. If we’re staying somewhere new, I almost always pack our blackout sleep tent. It helps create a familiar sleep environment even when we’re away from home, and it’s been one of the biggest things that’s helped Hayes nap well while traveling.

This blackout sleep tent is a game changer!

4. Having Sage and June help

This has been so helpful with the newborn stage this time around. Instead of trying to keep the girls occupied, ” I’ll ask them to:

• Hold their own backpack/luggage

• Help find our gate

• Carry a snack

• Help with Hayes’ blanket or burp cloth

They love feeling involved, and it keeps them occupied!

5. Burp cloths are useful for WAY more than burping

I swear these end up being:

• Bibs

• Wipe-down cloths

• Changing pad covers

• Window shades

• Emergency cleanup towels (if you know, you know😂)

I always pack several!! These 100% cotton burp cloths from Amazon are the best!

6. Keep breastfeeding supplies simple

One thing that’s made traveling postpartum so much easier is having a portable breastmilk cooler. It saves me from stressing about finding a fridge immediately after pumping, especially in airports or on longer travel days.

7. A lightweight travel car seat is worth every penny

If you’re flying, having a travel-friendly car seat makes getting through airports so much easier. It’s lighter, easier to carry, and takes up way less space than our everyday seat!

We’ve had this travel car seat for years and love it for the girls!

8. Don’t forget about YOU

This is probably the one I need to remind myself of the most. Traveling with kids is physically demanding, especially postpartum!

A few things I always pack for myself:

• My postpartum support binder (especially on longer travel days)

• A comfortable nursing bra

• My favorite skincare for a self-care moment

• A big water bottle

Being comfortable is essential, not only for yourself, but your children too!

This time around, I’ve been doing a lot of stretching and slowly adding movement back in whenever it feels good. Moving my body has been just as important for my mind as it has been for my body. Postpartum is HARD. Some days I honestly think it’s harder than being pregnant. Anyone else?

I know everyone’s postpartum journey looks SO different, so please listen to your own body. I’m certified in pre and postnatal fitness and these are movements specifically meant for postpartum, but that doesn’t mean you need to be doing them right now. If you’re not there yet, you’re not there yet! Save this and come back when you are.

Hayes has been the sweetest addition to our family, but I also knew going into this Summer that I wanted to be really intentional about making sure Sage and June still felt like kids. I didn’t want them to feel like they weren’t still a priority.

Of course, some days are slower than others (because... newborn life), and there are definitely moments when we all need a quiet day at home. But I’ve learned that even having one fun thing to look forward to each day, or even each week, can make such a difference!

It’s also helped me! As much as I love our little newborn bubble, getting the girls out of the house gives them something exciting to do, helps them burn some energy, and honestly gives me little pockets of time to slow down with Hayes when I need to.

💃 Dance

Dance has always been such a huge part of our family’s life, so it’s no surprise this is still at the top of their list.

I love that they get to move, be creative, see their friends, and have something that’s just theirs!

🏊 Swim Lessons

This has been one of our biggest priorities this summer.

Not only is it such an important life skill, but the girls have become so much more confident in the water. Watching them get excited after every lesson has been so fun. They’ve also been loving playdates at the pool on a warm day!

🚲 Family Bike Rides

Family bike rides have become one of our favorite ways to reset. They’re simple, free, and usually end up being one of the highlights of our week. Utah Summer’s are also the best, I’m slightly biased😂, but nothing beats a sunset ride!

I always get questions on which bike the girls and I have! I have an electric Haul LT and attach this seat for June! Sage also has an electric bike and loves how easy it is to ride! They also love these colorful helmets.

🥕 Farmers Markets

Going to our neighborhood farmers market has been a seasonal tradition for our whole family!

The girls love picking out fruit, finding flowers, listening to live music, and of course getting a little treat and some fun face paint! An absolute lifesaver for the marker is this Veer Wagon that we have had forever! The girls just hangout inside while we pull them around and love it!

👯 Cousin Time

Honestly, cousins are the best entertainment!

Whether they’re outside playing, making up games, or just being silly together, those days always fill their cups, and mine.

🎾 Tennis

This has been a fun new activity for the girls this summer!

I love introducing them to different sports and letting them explore what they enjoy. It’s also been really sweet watching them get excited to grab their rackets and head to the court. You never know what activity is going to click with your kids until you give them the chance to try it! They requested:

• Matching tennis shoes

• Matching pink rackets

• And the cutest tie-dye visors

❤️ Giving Them Individual Time

One thing I’ve been trying to be really mindful of this summer is making sure Sage and June each still get moments where they have Mom’s attention.

Sometimes that’s taking one of them on a quick bike ride, running a simple errand together, reading a book before bed, or letting one of them help me with Hayes while we chat. Though recently, it’s been morning dance recitals in our living room!

It doesn’t have to be anything elaborate! I’ve realized it’s less about how long the activity lasts and more about making sure they still feel seen during such a big transition for our family.

A Little Reminder

Not every day has to be packed with activities! Some days you’ll make it to dance class and the farmers market. Other days everyone stays in pajamas until lunch. Both kinds of days are okay!

I’ve found that keeping a few simple activities in our weekly routine has helped all of us. The girls have things they genuinely look forward to, Hayes gets plenty of cuddle time, and I don’t feel like I have to reinvent the wheel every morning.

Everyone tells you how quickly the newborn stage goes, and somehow, even after doing this twice before, I still wasn’t prepared for just how fast it would feel this time around. The past month has been full of newborn cuddles, sleepless nights, lots of adjusting, and some of the sweetest moments as our family has settled into life as a family of five.

But what I least expected was that going from two kids to three has actually been the easiest transition yet.

I know this might sound crazy, because before Hayes was born, I definitely prepared myself for the transition to three kids to feel like a lot. But in all honestly, zero to one was the most life-changing transition for me. Going from one to two was also tough in its own way. But two to three has genuinely felt like the smoothest transition out of all three of my pregnancies.

There is nothing better than slow mornings with Hayes. These are some of the products that have become part of our everyday routine and have made those quiet moments even sweeter.

Footies & Convertible Sleeper Gowns

These zipper footies are some of my favorites. They’re incredibly soft, easy for diaper changes, and not to mention, absolutely adorable. Then I found these convertible sleeper gowns that keep Hayes’ feet warm and tucked in, while a single snap releases the bundle for an easy flipback during diaper changes!

MAM Pacifiers

We’ve tried a few pacifiers, and these MAM Pacifiers have easily been our favorite.

Hegen Manual Breast Pump

If you’re breastfeeding, this is probably the product I’ve recommended most lately. I use it while feeding to catch letdown and express milk at the same time, and it’s been such a game changer. One of those products I wish I had discovered sooner!

Earth Mama Nipple Butter

Every nursing mom I know recommended this Nipple Butter, and now I completely understand why. It’s been one of my most-used postpartum products.

Nursing Pads

Another everyday essential that’s made this season of life so much more comfortable are these Nursing pads.

The biggest mistake I used to make was waiting until the sale started and then trying to figure out what I needed, now I do the opposite!

5:15 AM: Time to Go Have Our Baby

“It’s time to go have our baby.”

Those were the words I said as we left for the hospital at 5:15 in the morning.

Walking out the door felt surreal. I had spent so many months counting down to this day, and suddenly it was here. I was excited, nervous, emotional, and grateful.

As we drove to the hospital, I kept thinking, “The next time we leave, we’ll be bringing our son home.”

Back Where It All Began

One thing that made the morning feel extra special was that this was the same hospital where I delivered Sage.

Walking back through those doors brought back so many memories.

It’s funny how a place can instantly transport you back in time. I found myself thinking about becoming a mom for the very first time, and now here I was preparing to welcome our third baby!

Getting Settled In

Once we arrived, it was time to get checked in, get changed, and start all of the pre-op preparations. And can we just take a moment for the hospital gown?

Meanwhile, Sam was taking a trip down memory lane and scrolling through old photos and videos of our family. There was something so sweet about those quiet moments before everything changed and us knowing our lives were about to get a little bit fuller.

Fun fact: I genuinely think he gets more stressed about these things than I do.

Waiting...

Once everything was ready, all we could do was wait. The waiting is such a strange part of the day, especially because I’ve never made it to my planned c-section date! You’ve spent months preparing, counting down, and imagining what this moment will be like.

And then suddenly you’re sitting there realizing that in less than an hour, you’re going to meet your baby. I remember looking at my belly and thinking:

“We’re going to meet you in 20 minutes.”

For months, Hayes had been my kicks, my cravings, my growing belly, my appointments, and all the little moments in between! In just a few minutes, he would be in my arms, and that was a surreal feeling!

Almost Time

As the clock got closer, the nerves definitely started to kick in.

But underneath all of the excitement and anticipation was this overwhelming feeling of gratitude.

We were about to meet our son. The little boy we’d been praying for, preparing for, and dreaming about for months. And in just a few moments, our family of four would become a family of five.

Please meet, Hayes Duff Cusick, our son blessed our lives forever on 6/10/26 at 8:01am, 7lbs 18.5 inches.

These last few weeks have definitely been different than the rest of my pregnancy. I’ve been dealing with quite a bit of pelvic pain, pressure, and those lovely “is this labor?” contractions that seem to keep me guessing throughout the day. Every little cramp or contraction has me wondering if baby boy has decided he wants to make his debut early.

So far, he’s staying put. And while physically I’m feeling very ready, emotionally I’m finding myself in such an interesting place.

Since I’ve done this before, I know what recovery looks like. I know what those first sleepless nights feel like. I know how life changes when you bring a baby home.

But somehow, adding another little person to our family still feels like stepping into the unknown.

I’ve found myself looking around at our family of four lately and feeling so grateful for this season. Watching Sage and June together, our routines, the little moments that make up our everyday life.

At the same time, I am so excited to meet this little boy who has already brought so much joy and anticipation into our family.

It’s a strange mix of emotions, gratitude for what is, excitement for what’s coming, and maybe just a tiny bit of nervousness for everything in between. One thing I’ve really been focusing on these last few weeks is listening to my body.

Some days that looks like moving and getting a workout in. Other days it looks like slowing down, putting my feet up, and reminding myself that rest is productive too!

As someone who genuinely loves movement, that’s not always easy for me. But pregnancy has a way of teaching you over and over again that your body is constantly communicating with you, and it’s worth listening.

I’ve also been soaking up every bit of time I can with my girls. The random dance parties in the kitchen. The bedtime and morning snuggles. The “Mom, watch this!” moments that happen throughout the day. Because while I know our hearts only grow bigger, I also know life is about to look a little different and I can’t wait.

This baby has already been so loved by all of us, and I know Sage and June are going to be the sweetest big sisters.

So for now, I’m taking things one day at a time. Finishing up the last few things on my to-do list, trying not to overthink every contraction, and soaking up these final days before we become a family of five.

The next time I check in here, there’s a very good chance I’ll be introducing you to our baby boy.

And that just feels like the greatest gift. Thank you for all of your sweet messages and support during this time! It has been so rewarding to go through these past 39 weeks with you all by my side🤍

As much as there’s anticipation around meeting him, I’ve also been trying to slow down, breathe, and really prioritize taking care of myself during these last few weeks. And while everyone says “rest and relax,” I fully understand now that it’s much easier said than done.

There’s this strange balance in the third trimester where you’re exhausted… but also suddenly feel the urge to prepare everything all at once.

I feel like with your first baby, you either bring absolutely everything you own or almost nothing because you truly have no idea what you’ll actually use. By baby number three, I feel like I’ve finally figured out what actually matters for me during a hospital stay! And honestly? I keep it pretty simple!

First things first: a roller suitcase is the way to go. Trust me on this one 😂 Trying to carry a bunch of bags out of the hospital after having a baby, especially after a C-section, is just not it. A suitcase makes everything so much easier!

Since I’ve had C-sections with both of my girls and will be having another one with baby boy, I feel like I’ve learned a lot about what makes recovery more comfortable while you’re in the hospital.

So here’s everything I’m packing this time around:

Clothes & Pajamas

Because I’ve stayed three nights after each of my C-sections, I typically bring three comfy outfits with me.

One thing about a C-section recovery is that your incision is very tender, and the nurses/doctors need access to it pretty often while you’re there. Anything tight around your stomach is just uncomfortable, so loose, soft, high-waisted pieces are always what I reach for.

I’m bringing:

• Two button-down sleep nightgowns

  • One long-sleeve option

  • One short-sleeve option in case I get hot

The hospital does provide robes, but I personally just feel so much better changing into my own comfy clothes. There’s something about putting on a fresh outfit after delivery that makes me feel a little more like myself again!

I’m also bringing the cutest little three-piece lounge set from Lake Pajamas that has:

• Wide-leg pants

• A nursing tank

• A lightweight kimono robe

This is probably what I’ll wear for newborn photos in the hospital 🤍 It’s comfy enough to lounge in but still feels cute and put together.

My Going Home Outfit

For my going-home look, I’m packing a one-piece jumper from Free People!

After a C-section, anything with a waistband pressing against your stomach is honestly the last thing I want. I’ve found that jumpsuits and loose one-pieces are SO much more comfortable for the ride home.

I’m pairing it with:

• A comfy nursing bra

• Cozy socks

• Fuzzy slippers with grippy bottoms

And yes… the grippy bottoms matter 😂 After surgery you’re definitely a little wobbly walking around at first, so comfy slippers that don’t slide are a must!

What I’m Not Packing

This might surprise some people, but I’m not packing:

• Postpartum underwear

• Nipple pads

• Any postpartum recovery products

The hospital honestly provides all of that for you. They usually send you home with extras too!

I save all of my postpartum recovery items for once I’m back home instead of trying to pack everything into my suitcase.

C-Section Recovery Essentials

One thing I am bringing is an abdominal binder.

This helps support your core and incision area after surgery and makes moving around feel so much better. One hospital gave me one after delivery and another didn’t, so this time I just ordered my own to make sure I have it!

Another absolute must: a 10-foot phone charger.

There is NEVER an outlet close enough to the hospital bed 😂 A long charger is non-negotiable!

Camera & Toiletries

I’m also bringing my Canon G7X camera because I love having those fresh newborn hospital photos. Obviously your phone works great too, but I just love the way these photos turn out!

For toiletries, I keep it super minimal:

• Travel shampoo & conditioner

• Body lotion

• Lip balm

• Hair clip and scrunchie

I’ll pack my skincare and makeup later since I still need them leading up to delivery, but I like having the “must-haves” already ready to go in my bag!

For me, I really want to prioritize:

• Comfortability

• Coziness

• Feeling Prepared

That’s kind of it!

Also, Sam is amazing and always willing to go grab anything I forgot or end up needing while we’re there, which definitely helps me not feel like I need to overpack.

What I’m Packing for Baby Boy

I’m actually only planning on bringing two outfits for baby boy:

• A cute outfit for photos

• A going-home outfit

Otherwise? My babies basically just stay swaddled in a diaper the entire hospital stay!

I cannot wait to meet our little guy so soon 🤍

I know firsthand how emotional, overwhelming, and honestly scary it can feel walking into something unknown, especially if a C-section wasn’t originally part of your birth plan. My first two C-sections happened after both of my girls were breech when I went into labor, and now with baby boy, I’ll be having a planned C-section due to complications from my second delivery that make me higher risk for uterine rupture.

After going through it twice already and now preparing for my third, I wanted to share the things that genuinely helped me during recovery and the things I absolutely plan on doing again this time around.

And before I get into the tips, I just want to say this too: C-sections can still be incredibly beautiful, emotional, empowering birth experiences. I know they sometimes get talked about in a negative way or framed as “not the ideal outcome,” but I can honestly say I look back on both of my deliveries with so much gratitude!

So if you’re heading into one soon, I hope this post makes you feel a little more prepared, a little less nervous, and a little more supported.

Move Your Body As Soon As You Can

Okay, first things first: as soon as your doctors clear you to stand up and move around a little bit after delivery… do it.

Not because it feels good (because honestly, it probably won’t 😂), but because it truly helped me so much with recovery both times.

The first time I stood up after both of my C-sections, I either threw up or almost threw up, so just keeping it very real over here. You’re not going to feel amazing immediately. But even standing for a few seconds, slowly walking to the bathroom, or taking tiny laps around the hospital room can really help get your body moving again.

And when I say move, I mean gently. Do not overdo it. Tiny movements count!

Ice Packs Were My Best Friend

One thing I swear by is icing my incision consistently during those first couple of weeks. My little “rule” for myself was anytime I was breastfeeding, I’d also have an ice pack on my incision. It made it easy to remember and helped me stay consistent with it.

I felt like it helped a ton with swelling and discomfort, especially during those first several days when everything feels super sensitive.

Order a Belly Binder

After my first C-section, the hospital sent me home with a belly support binder and it was honestly a game changer.

I ended up ordering another one for my second recovery because I loved it so much. Anytime I was up moving around, walking, or leaving the house, I would wear it and it made such a difference.

Your core goes through a LOT during a C-section recovery, and I felt like the binder helped support not only my stomach area, but also my lower back. Everything just feels a little off postpartum, and having that extra support made moving around feel way less intimidating!

Give Yourself Grace, You’re Recovering From Surgery

I think this is probably the biggest thing I wish I fully understood after my first C-section. Because you’re awake for the surgery and immediately taking care of a newborn afterward, I think people sometimes forget that a C-section is still major surgery!

There’s no “okay now rest for two weeks and don’t move” period. You’re feeding a baby, getting in and out of bed constantly, changing diapers, barely sleeping, sitting up, standing up… all while actively healing from surgery.

I remember being really hard on myself after my first delivery because some days I felt okay and other days I felt exhausted, emotional, or in more pain than expected. And then I had this moment where I was like… wait. I literally just had surgery.

Healing is not linear.

Some days are going to feel easier than others, some days your energy will be lower, and some days you’ll feel emotional. Give yourself so much grace during that process.

Short Walks Helped Me So Much

Once I was feeling a little better, probably around 2.5 to 3 weeks postpartum, one thing that really helped me physically and mentally was taking short walks.

Nothing intense at all. Usually just putting the baby in the stroller and doing a quick walk around the neighborhood for fresh air.

I genuinely felt like it helped speed up my healing, but more than that, it helped me emotionally too. Getting outside, moving my body gently, and having a small change of scenery made me feel a little more like myself again.

But again: listen to your body. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t push it!

Postpartum Clothes Matter More Than You Think

One thing I definitely didn’t think enough about before my first C-section was postpartum clothing.

Your incision is right around your waistband area, and it can feel really sensitive for a while, so what you wear makes a huge difference.

Personally, I lived in:

• Button-down nightgowns

• Soft high-waisted underwear

• Loose rompers

• Anything without a tight waistband

I especially loved those oversized Free People style rompers because they were comfortable but still made me feel somewhat put together if I left the house.

And one thing I realized is that postpartum needs after a C-section can look really different than postpartum recovery after a vaginal delivery. A lot of the typical postpartum products people recommend just weren’t things I needed as much.

If I were to recommend my top 3 products for recovery, it’d be these:

• Postpartum Underwear

• Abdominal Binder

• 3-Piece Ice Pack

Every recovery is different, and of course you should always listen to your doctor and your body first. But these are genuinely the things that helped me the most during my first two recoveries and the things I’ll absolutely be doing again this time around.

And if you’re someone preparing for your first C-section, I hope this reminds you that your birth story is still beautiful, no matter what it looks like!

You are strong. You are capable. And you’ve got this. 🤍

A Little Reminder for the Postpartum Season 🤍

One thing I’ve learned postpartum is how important it is to ease back into movement slowly and intentionally. There can be so much pressure to “bounce back,” and honestly, that mindset is something I’ve really tried to move away from over the years.

After both of my deliveries, movement became less about aesthetics and more about reconnecting with my body, rebuilding strength gradually, and simply feeling good again mentally and physically.

At 35 weeks pregnant, I’ve officially entered full nesting mode. I’m making lists in my notes app at midnight, reorganizing drawers that absolutely did not need to be reorganized, washing tiny baby clothes on repeat, and suddenly caring deeply about things like cabinet labels and storage bins.

Part of me knows I should probably just sit down and rest… but another part of me feels like my brain physically cannot relax until every corner of the house feels prepared for baby boy!

The funny thing is, I actually love this phase. There’s something really emotional and special about preparing your home for a new baby. It feels less about perfection and more about creating comfort. Safe spaces. Little systems that make life easier once newborn chaos hits.

So I thought it would be fun to share a little peek into what nesting has looked like for me lately, plus some of the things that have genuinely helped me feel more organized, calm, and ready these last few weeks!

Things I’ve Been Doing While Nesting

Washing + organizing baby clothes

There is truly nothing cuter than tiny baby clothes. I forgot how emotional it feels washing everything for the first time.

I’ve been using:

• baby-safe laundry detergent

• drawer dividers for sizing

• labeled storage bins for clothes he’ll grow into

Reorganizing literally everything

Why does pregnancy suddenly make you want to reorganize areas of your house you haven’t touched in years? 😂

I’ve been especially focused on:

• pantry organization

• bathroom storage

• cleaning out the girls’ room

• creating nursing + postpartum stations around the house

• restocking household essentials before baby arrives

A few things that have made the biggest difference:

• clear storage bins

• a good vacuum (it’s crazy how much dust accumulates!)

• collapsable storage baskets

• lots and lots of trash bags

My Current Nesting Favorites

Around the house

• drawer organizers

• under sink organizers

• toy shelf

Baby prep

• baby hangers

• diaper caddy

• sound machine

• newborn footed pjs

Little things making me feel more prepared

I’ve realized nesting is honestly less about “having everything perfect” and more about setting up little systems now that future postpartum me will appreciate later.

Things like:

• keeping bedside essentials stocked

• having easy snacks on hand

• setting up cozy spaces throughout the house

• simplifying routines wherever possible

And honestly? I’m trying to remind myself that the house doesn’t need to be perfect for this baby to feel deeply loved when he gets here!

Even though I’ve done this before, every pregnancy feels different, every baby feels different, and this season feels really special.

I’ve dressed Sage in their pieces since she was little, then June, and now getting to create something alongside them… it truly feels full circle.

The Heart Behind the Collection

Every single piece was designed with real life in mind, playing, swimming, dancing, traveling, and just being kids!

I kept coming back to three things while designing:

• Comfortable enough to move in all day

• Timeless enough to wear season after season

• Special enough to feel like those outfits you remember

There’s something really magical about pieces that your kids actually want to wear, and feel good in, and that was the goal with everything we created!

We just got back from The Movement Club brand trip to Costa Rica, and I’ve been trying to put into words what made it so special, but honestly, it was one of those experiences you had to feel. It wasn’t just about workouts or a beautiful location (although yes, both were incredible). It was about connection, stepping outside of routines, and getting to spend real, intentional time together.

I feel so lucky to have been able to share this with such an amazing group of women!

Getting There 🤍

I will say… there were a few bumps in the road getting there 😅 Only 8 out of our 15 bags made it with us, and the rest got held up at customs. Not exactly ideal, but honestly, it ended up being one of those “roll with it” moments that kind of brought everyone even closer right from the beginning!

By the time we checked in and sat down for our welcome dinner that night, it already felt like everyone had known each other way longer than just a few hours.

Where We Stayed

We stayed at Auberge Resort AltaGracia, and I honestly don’t even know where to begin!

It’s tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by the most insane greenery, and everything about it just feels peaceful the second you arrive. The villas were unreal, so private, so spacious, and every little detail felt so thoughtful.

What I loved most though was how the entire resort is centered around wellness and slowing down. From the spa (which is next level) to the food, to just the way the property is laid out, it really encourages you to disconnect a bit and be present.

It was the perfect setting for this kind of trip, equal parts adventure and relaxation, and somewhere that made it really easy to just be.

Moving Together

One of my favorite parts of the trip (no surprise here) was starting our mornings with The Movement Club workouts. With the release of The Everything Band, I led the group through different flows each morning and it was so special!

There’s just something different about moving your body together, especially somewhere like Costa Rica. The energy, the encouragement, the way everyone shows up for each other… it’s hard to replicate.

And what I loved most was seeing how every single person approached it in their own way. That’s always been the goal with TMC, meeting you where you are and creating space for everyone to feel included.

Adventure Days

We definitely leaned into the adventure side of Costa Rica, and it pushed a lot of us out of our comfort zones in the best way

Half of the group went zip-lining through the jungle while the other went to a sugar cane farm. We hiked to the most beautiful waterfalls, and even did a river bath experience that felt so grounding and peaceful! There’s something about being fully immersed in nature that just resets you a little bit.

And of course… there was plenty of downtime mixed in too (because balance 😉).

Slowing Down

One of the biggest takeaways for me was how important it is to slow down. Between the sound bath, some spa time, and just having space to relax by the pool, it felt like we were able to really be present, which is something I’m always working on!

Life moves so fast, and this trip was such a good reminder to actually take a second and enjoy it.

Our third night included a burning ceremony, and it was honestly one of the most meaningful moments of the entire trip. We each had the chance to let go of something. Whether it was stress, fear, expectations, whatever it might be, and physically release it. It was emotional, empowering, and just really special to experience together as a group.

What This Trip Really Meant

Yes, we worked out. Yes, we explored. Yes, it was beautiful. But more than anything, this trip was about community.

It’s easy to think of an online platform like The Movement Club as just workouts on a screen, but being able to bring that community to life and actually spend time together reminded me why we do all of this in the first place.

Connection matters. Feeling supported matters. And having a space where you can show up exactly as you are… that’s everything!

Leaving was hard (I think we all would’ve stayed another week if we could), but I’m walking away feeling so inspired, so grateful, and honestly just really full.
