Somewhere between charcoal lemonade and celery juice (no, thank you).

But here’s the thing.

There are actually a few reasons why adding a small amount of high-quality butter to your morning coffee can make sense. The internet has exaggerated many of the claims, but the underlying science is more interesting than the hype.

First, let’s talk about the butter.

I’m not talking about the individually wrapped butter pats at a diner.

I’m talking about a high-quality, grass-fed cultured European-style butter. I found a good one at Whole Foods.

These butters contain fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K2, along with small amounts of butyrate, a fatty acid that supports the cells lining your gut. Grass-fed butter also contains conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), a naturally occurring fat that has been studied for its potential metabolic benefits.

The amounts aren’t enormous, so I wouldn’t call butter a superfood.

Its biggest benefit is much simpler.

Fat slows the rate at which food leaves your stomach. When paired with coffee, that can help smooth out the caffeine experience. Instead of feeling a quick jolt followed by a crash, many people experience steadier energy and fewer jitters. It can also help keep you feeling satisfied longer.

Now let’s talk about the cinnamon.

This may actually be the star of the show.

Cinnamon contains plant compounds called polyphenols that have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Research also suggests it may help improve insulin sensitivity and support healthy blood sugar regulation.

If you’re adding cinnamon to your coffee every day, choose Ceylon cinnamon whenever possible. It’s often called “true cinnamon” and contains far less coumarin than the more common Cassia variety, making it a better choice for daily use.

What happens when you combine them?

Coffee, butter, and cinnamon create a drink that:

Promotes a slower, steadier release of caffeine.

Helps you stay full longer.

Has very little impact on blood sugar.

Tastes surprisingly rich and satisfying when blended.

It isn’t magic.

It isn’t going to melt body fat.

It doesn’t automatically put you into ketosis.

And it certainly doesn’t replace a healthy diet.

Here’s where I think people get it wrong.

Some wellness influencers have turned butter coffee into a miracle drink.

It’s not.

The disappointing truth is, one ingredient is rarely responsible for dramatic changes in health.

Your daily habits matter far more than any single food.

A cup of coffee with butter isn’t going to undo a diet full of ultra-processed foods. At the same time, one small ritual that makes you feel more energized, more satisfied, and more consistent with your nutrition can absolutely have value.

One important caveat

Butter contains almost no protein.

If you’re using butter coffee as your breakfast, make sure you’re still getting a protein-rich meal within the next couple of hours. Protein remains one of the most important nutrients for maintaining muscle, supporting metabolism, and aging well, especially for women in midlife and beyond.

My morning recipe

If you want to give it a try, here’s how I make it:

10 to 12 ounces freshly brewed coffee

1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon grass-fed butter

½ teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon

A tiny pinch of sea salt (optional, but it brings all the flavors together)

a splash of grass-fed half & half or your favorite creamer (and if that means CoffeeMate for you, we need to talk 😂)

Blend for about 20 seconds until it’s creamy and frothy, almost like a latte.

It’s simple.

It tastes incredible.

And while it won’t transform your life overnight, it just might transform your mornings.

Sometimes the smallest daily rituals are the ones that quietly make the biggest difference.

3 Nervous System Resets That Actually Work in Not a quick little panel. A full look under the hood. And when my results came back, one thing jumped off the page.

My CRP levels were almost nonexistent!

CRP is a marker of systemic inflammation. And mine was so low that my doctor literally said, “Whatever you’re doing, keep doing it.”

That moment stopped me in my tracks.

Because a couple of years ago, my inflammation markers were not low. They were off the charts. I was doing all the “right” things. Eating well. Working out hard. Trying to stay disciplined. And yet my body was clearly under stress.

So when I saw those new labs, it made me reflect on what had actually changed.

Life With a Twist is a reader-supported publication. Yes, I changed how I worked out.

But the biggest shift wasn’t food or fitness. It was nervous system regulation.

The more I researched and learned, the more it became clear that the nervous system is one of the main drivers of inflammation. When your body feels unsafe, rushed, overstimulated, or constantly under pressure, it responds with inflammation. It does not matter how clean your diet is.

Once I understood that, everything clicked.

So if you’re in midlife and feeling tired, wired, inflamed, or stuck, here are three nervous system resets that actually made a difference for me. These are not complicated. They are not trendy. And they do not require you to overhaul your life.

They work because they tell your body it is safe.

1. Morning light without stimulation

This one feels almost too simple, but it is foundational.

Most mornings now, I step outside for five to ten minutes without my phone. No podcast. No scrolling. No checking messages. Just light.

This matters because morning light sets your circadian rhythm. It tells your brain what time it is. That helps regulate cortisol instead of letting it spike randomly throughout the day.

When cortisol is regulated, inflammation comes down. Sleep improves. Energy stabilizes.

This is not about productivity. It is about signaling safety to your nervous system first thing in the day.

I used to stack stimulation on top of stimulation from the moment I woke up. Emails. News. Social media. And then I wondered why I felt anxious by 9 a.m.

This one small shift changed the tone of my entire day.

2. Regulated movement instead of constant intensity

I used to LOVE high intensity workouts. I still love them in theory.

But in midlife, my body stopped responding well to constant stress-based training.

Instead of daily HIIT or bootcamp style workouts, I shifted to strength training, walking, and intentional movement. Workouts that challenge me without sending my nervous system into fight or flight.

When your nervous system is already sensitive due to hormonal shifts, piling on intense workouts can increase inflammation instead of reducing it.

Movement should build resilience, not deplete you.

Once I reframed exercise as a way to support my nervous system instead of punish my body, my recovery improved and so did my labs.

3. One daily safety signal

This is my favorite one because it costs nothing and works incredibly fast.

A safety signal is something predictable that your nervous system comes to associate with calm.

For me, it might be the same walk at the same time. Sitting in the same chair in the evening. Lighting the same candle. Making the same tea before bed. Reading instead of scrolling.

Predictability tells your nervous system that it does not need to be on high alert.

When your body knows what is coming next, it can relax. When it relaxes, inflammation decreases.

Most of us are living with constant micro stressors. Decisions. Notifications. Changes. Noise.

One daily safety signal helps counteract that and bring your system back into balance.

Why this matters in midlife

Midlife is not the time to push harder through stress. It is the time to get smarter about how your body responds to it.

Inflammation is not just about what you eat. It is not just about how much you work out.

It is about how safe your body feels on a daily basis.

Once I understood that, I stopped blaming myself for feeling off. I stopped thinking I needed more discipline. And I started focusing on regulation first.

That shift changed my energy. My sleep. My labs. And honestly, my relationship with my body.

This is the foundation of everything I teach now.

Energy first. Then everything else.

If this resonated and you want my full roadmap to thriving in midlife, I break it all down inside the Plot Twist Protocol.

It starts with nervous system regulation, moves into the Body

Edit, and then helps you step fully into main character energy in your own life.

If you’re ready for that shift, you can find it here.

xo,

Lisa

When Everything Felt Stuck, I Changed One Thing

How your environment may be quietly blocking momentum.

Lisa Pineiro

If you’re anything like me, January comes with this quiet pressure to fix everything at once. Before the move, nothing was technically “wrong,” but everything felt backed up. Heavy. Congested. I was still working, still showing up, still doing all the things, but it felt like I was pushing against something invisible. Progress took more effort than it should have. Even good things felt harder to move forward.

Then I moved.

Same me. Same work. Same goals. Completely different energy.

Almost immediately, I felt lighter and clearer. Things started flowing again. Conversations opened up. Momentum returned. Ideas felt easier. I didn’t change my to do list. I changed the container I was living inside.

And that’s the part I think we underestimate.

You don’t need to move houses for this to work.

What shifted wasn’t my life, it was my environment. And there’s real science behind why that matters. Environmental psychology shows that cluttered or visually chaotic spaces increase cognitive load and stress. Your brain is constantly processing unfinished business, even if you think you’re ignoring it. Piles, crowded corners, tight layouts, things that don’t have a place. Your nervous system is always paying attention.

When you change your space, you reduce that background noise.

That’s why people feel calmer after decluttering. Why fresh light can improve mood. Why reorganizing a room can spark creativity. Physical order signals safety to the brain, and safety is what allows momentum to return.

Energy flows more easily when there’s room for it.

And this doesn’t have to be dramatic. You don’t need a full renovation or a major move. Sometimes it’s as simple as moving a piece of furniture that’s always annoyed you. Painting a room a color that feels calmer or brighter. Clearing out a closet that’s been silently stressing you out for years. Rearranging your bedroom so it feels more peaceful.

These aren’t just aesthetic changes. They’re nervous system shifts.

We talk so much about discipline and motivation, but we rarely talk about friction. Your environment can either support forward movement or quietly block it. And no amount of willpower fixes a space that feels heavy.

If there’s one thing I’d suggest doing at the start of this year, it’s this.

Don’t start with forcing new habits. Start with your space.

Pay attention to where things feel congested or stuck. Notice where your eye keeps landing and feeling irritated or overwhelmed. Then change one thing.

Just one.

Because when your space can breathe, you can breathe. And when you breathe, things start moving again.

Sometimes flow doesn’t come from doing more. Sometimes it comes from clearing the path.

xo,

Lisa

Life With a Twist is a reader-supported publication. Every “expert” drilled it into us. Count every calorie. Cut the fat. Do more cardio.

And you know what? That formula flat-out does not work in midlife.

Life With a Twist is a reader-supported publication. Hormones have shifted. Stress shows up differently. The old playbook wasn’t written for women like us, and if you’ve been following it, no wonder you feel stuck. It’s like trying to stream Netflix on a flip phone. Wrong tool, wrong era.

The Lies We Were Sold

Don’t eat fat. Remember the low-fat craze? I do. I was the girl with a pantry full of SnackWells cookies, inhaling the whole box and telling myself it was healthy. Spoiler: it wasn’t. That entire era trained us to fear the one macronutrient that actually keeps us alive. And the fallout? I’m convinced that low-fat craze is a big reason so many people are now dealing with metabolic disease, hormone chaos, and bodies that don’t respond the way they should.

Calories in, calories out. If all that mattered was math, we’d all be walking spreadsheets with six-packs. But food is chemistry, not just numbers. Your body doesn’t read “1200 calories”, it reads inputs. 300 calories of salmon and avocado lands completely differently than 300 calories of pretzels. Quality > math every single time.

Cardio fixes everything. This one fooled me for years. I thought the more I ran, the leaner I’d get. Reality? I was just spiking cortisol, tanking my hormones, and holding onto belly fat like it was my retirement plan. Excessive cardio is basically stress in disguise. Stress = inflammation. And inflammation is what makes midlife bodies crash out.

What Actually Works in Midlife

Here’s the playbook I use now, and the one I wish I’d had when I was drowning in bad advice.

Eat the fat. Healthy fats are literally the building blocks of your hormones and brain. Olive oil, avocados, nuts, seeds, salmon…this is fuel, not the enemy. Fat keeps you full, stabilizes your energy, and gives you that glow. If you want your hormones balanced and your brain firing, you need fat. Period.

Strength > cardio. Let’s talk about this “I don’t want to get bulky” myth. Tough love time: it’s not muscle that makes you look bulky. It’s the fat sitting on top of your muscle that makes you look bulky. And here’s the kicker: the more muscle you build, the more fat your body burns. Muscle is metabolic gold.

It also keeps your body tight. Shapely. Strong. Muscle is the new Botox. It keeps everything lifted. (Literally cracking myself up as I write this, but it’s true!)

Cardio has its place, but overdo it and you’re just marinating in inflammation. Balance looks like lifting heavy, walking often, and sprinkling in the movement you actually enjoy.

Also…ditch the calorie counting. I don’t count a single calorie. Why? Because I eat organic, whole foods that my body recognizes. And I’ve trained myself to hear my body clearly. I know when I’m full. I know when I’m craving something because my body needs it, not because I’m on autopilot. I know the exact foods that make me feel energized versus the ones that drag me. (This is a whole other topic, but learning to tune into your body is everything.)

This isn’t about overhauling your life in one night. It’s about shifting into a playbook that actually works now.

If you’re ready to really test this on yourself, I created the 30-Day Body Edit Mini Course. Six videos, a five-day meal plan, companion guides…my exact roadmap for looking and feeling hot in midlife.

Here’s the thing though: as much as I love the body piece, it’s not the whole story. Midlife isn’t just about what you eat or how you move. It’s about energy. It’s about confidence. It’s about how you enter a room. It’s about having a fresh purpose. When your nervous system is regulated, when your boundaries are strong, when you’re aligned with purpose… your body follows.

That’s the deeper foundation I teach inside The Plot Twist Protocol. Because the real glow-up isn’t just about your body. It’s about your whole life.

xo,

Lisa

Life With a Twist is a reader-supported publication. But there’s also a way to journal that cements negativity deep into your brain and keeps you stuck exactly where you are. Most people are unknowingly doing the latter.

The good news is, there’s an easy switch. And when you learn it, your journal becomes more than a notebook, it becomes a tool to hijack your brain and make it work for you instead of against you.

I call it my Think It, Write It, Speak It method. It’s the secret I use to flip negative energy on its head, reprogram my brain, and open doors I never thought possible.

Also…the color of your journal makes a difference! What? 🤯

👉 Keep reading, because if you’ve been journaling the wrong way, this one shift will change everything.

You turn on the news or scroll your feed and it is one negative headline after another. Everyone has an opinion, everyone is arguing, and all of it seeps into your nervous system. For real.

When you take in all that negativity, it doesn’t just stay in your mind. It hits your nervous system and keeps your body in fight or flight mode. That constant “on edge” state raises a hormone called cortisol. And when cortisol stays high for too long, it throws every other hormone off balance. Think of cortisol as the master switch. When it is flipped on all the time, nothing else in your body works the way it should. Stop overdosing on news

I skim headlines once a day, usually on my phone. That is it. I do not open the articles unless it is something critical to my actual life. Everything else can go.

2. Rewire your feed

If your social media feels like a giant stress bomb, retrain it. Search for positive stuff. Click on cute animal videos. I swear my algorithm now thinks I am a golden retriever mom and honestly, I am not mad at it.

3. Eat clean when stress is high

Your body is already working overtime to process cortisol. Don’t make it clear toxins from processed food too. Stick with real food. Protein, veggies, healthy fats. Give your body a break.

4. Move your body and get sunshine

A walk, a workout, whatever you enjoy. It helps burn off cortisol. And when you get some sun, you are also boosting vitamin D which helps keep cortisol balanced and your sleep on track.

5. Breathe on purpose

Box breathing is magic. Inhale for four. Hold for four. Exhale for four. Hold for four. Do a few rounds and you will feel your whole system calm down.

6. Journal positivity

Here is where I go against the grain. Writing, thinking, and speaking something gives it power. So instead of dumping all the negative on the page, I flip it. I write positive thoughts even if I do not feel them in the moment. Then I read them out loud. It shifts my whole perspective.

Protecting your energy is not selfish. It is survival. You cannot lose the weight, get your energy back, or sleep like a baby if you are bathing in cortisol all day. Start treating your energy the way you treat food. Choose clean over junk. Choose peace over chaos. Your midlife body will thank you.

I talk a lot about the importance of balancing your nervous system in my midlife roadmap called The Plot Twist Protocol. Settling your nervous system is the foundation to hormonal health and a total midlife level up. Nothing else works right unless your nervous system and the energy around you are right. Serums, medical grade moisturizers, sunscreens, they all have a place in my longevity plan. But there’s one product that I use morning and night, every single day, that doesn’t come from a fancy brand.

I literally make it in my kitchen.

This little recipe has been my secret weapon for years. I’ve made it for myself, I’ve made it for my family and friends, and now they all swear by it too. It’s nourishing, anti aging, smells like a spa, and costs pennies compared to what you’d spend on a luxury facial oil.

And today, I’m sharing the recipe with you.

⸻

Why Olive Oil Is the Secret Star 🌿

The base of this oil is simple, high quality olive oil. Look for organic + cold-pressed. I usually just buy mine at Whole Foods!

Olive oil has been a skincare staple for centuries. Cleopatra used it, Mediterranean women still swear by it, and for good reason. It’s full of antioxidants, polyphenols, and squalene that protect your skin from environmental damage and deeply hydrate without clogging pores.

But here’s the thing. Olive oil gets even better when you combine it with the right supporting oils. That’s when it turns into a true anti aging powerhouse.

Okay, let’s get into it. Here’s the recipe I make at home ⬇️

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" A little aesthetic magic can work wonders too.

Over the years I’ve tried just about everything the aesthetic world has to offer. The weight-loss “rules” we were fed in our 20s don’t just stop working in midlife, they can actually backfire. And no one’s talking about why.

So today, I’m spilling the dirty little secrets that finally set me free. No gatekeeping, no BS. Just the truth I wish someone had told me years ago.

Life With a Twist is a reader-supported publication. Great in theory. Total garbage once you hit your 40s and 50s.

If you’re still counting calories like it’s 1999, no wonder you feel stuck. Midlife bodies don’t care about your MyFitnessPal streak. They care about the quality of your fuel and whether your metabolism actually knows what to do with it.

1,200 calories of crackers and diet soda is not the same as 1,200 calories of protein, greens, and healthy fats. Your 20 year old body didn’t care. Your midlife body knows the difference and punishes you when you get it wrong (she’s irritable like that).

Secret #2: Cardio Isn’t Queen (You Are 😉)

Remember when we all thought endless cardio was the holy grail? Yeah… turns out too much cardio in midlife = inflammation, cortisol spikes, and the exact opposite of fat loss.

Strength training, walking, yoga…these are your midlife BFFs. Cardio? It’s fine in moderation. But if the treadmill is your second home and you’re still fat? There’s probably something deeper going on.

Secret #3: It’s Not Just About Your Hormones

Listen, hormones matter. But your midlife weight loss isn’t only about hormones. It’s also about your DNA, specifically the switches that are getting turned on and off. That’s called epigenetics.

Here’s the part nobody tells you: stress, food quality, sleep, toxins…they are all influencing how your genes behave. And midlife is when those switches matter most.

And can I just say this? I’m so sick of the “it’s just your hormones” talk. 🙄 Like, oh did you get your full hormone panel? Oh maybe just get on HRT and it’ll all be fixed. Girl, no. Your hormone levels fluctuate every single day, every single moment. A one-size-fits-all patch or pill isn’t a magic bullet, it’s a Band-Aid. Sorry, but it’s true.

(Okay, mini rant over. More on hormones and HRT in another post, lol.)

This is why two women can eat the same meal and get totally different results. Their genes, and how they’re being expressed, are playing by different rulebooks. And the wild part? You can influence those switches. Which means you’re not doomed by your DNA or your hormones.

Secret #4: The Experts Lied About Willpower

If you’ve ever felt like you’re failing because you “don’t have enough discipline”? That’s the biggest lie of all.

It’s not about willpower. It’s about knowing the new rules of the midlife game. Once you understand them, it’s like flipping on a light switch and suddenly your body actually responds again. When this happens, you actually won’t need willpower.

⸻

So Now What?

Here’s where I stop ranting and give you something you can actually use.

I created a free 5-Day Midlife Meal Plan. Real meals I eat myself that work with your hormones, your genes, and your metabolism. It’s simple, delicious, and it’ll give you a taste of what’s possible when you stop following broken rules.

👉 Grab your free 5-Day Midlife Meal Plan .

And if you’re ready to go all-in, my Body Edit program is where I share the full roadmap: every shortcut, and all the secrets I had to figure out the hard way. No gatekeeping. Just results. Give me 30 days and watch the transformation.

👉 Get the full Body Sometimes you have bad days. The kind where looking at your to-do list feels like a personal attack, and getting dressed? Straight to jail. All you want is to crawl back under the covers with Netflix and pizza.

I’ve had more of those days than I can count. And for a long time, I thought it meant I was broken. Spoiler: it didn’t. Those bad days actually ended up teaching me some of the most important lessons of my life.

And funny enough, it all goes back to something my mom used to say. She had this rule for me when I was little, and it’s still the thing I lean on every time life feels like too much. It’s an absolute game-changer.

That’s midlife. You’ve tried the hustle. You’ve worked the late nights. You’ve raised the kids. You’ve put everyone else first. You’ve said yes to things you knew you didn’t have time for. And now? Now you know better.

Here’s the truth: hustle has its place. Just not here. Not anymore.

In midlife, we run things differently. We get more done in four focused hours than we used to get done in a frantic twelve. We know which corners to cut (and which ones never to touch). We’ve got systems, shortcuts, and non-negotiables that keep our days running smooth. Or, at least, we should.

If you don’t, no worries. I’m going to tell you exactly how I do it.

Your rings feel tight, your knees are talking to you, and your whole body feels like it’s wrapped in one of those weighted blankets… except it’s just you.

That was me this morning.

Last night was one of those magical dinners. The kind where you’re sitting at a friend’s table, surrounded by lovely new friends, there’s music in the background, everyone’s laughing, and her husband (who just so happens to be a chef) keeps bringing out these incredible plates. We ate later than I usually do. The food was rich and decadent. They were opening amazing bottles of wine, and let’s just say… I didn’t say no.

By the time I got home (thank you Alto), I was happy, full, and just the right amount of tipsy.

But when I woke up, I was puffy, inflamed, and wrecked. My joints ached, my eyes felt heavy, and I could feel my body basically yelling at me: “This was fun, but never feed me like that again.”

And here’s the thing… I knew exactly what I needed to do.

Not the “greasy breakfast” or “hair of the dog” people swear by ( I don’t know who started these crazy remedies, but…just no) Not pounding coffee and pretending I’m fine.

Nope. I did the one thing that has never failed me after a night like that:

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" me:

    • Step 1: Water. A lot of it. Room temp in the morning to be gentle on my digestion. Of course I had a single cup of coffee too (I’m not an animal) 😂

    • Step 2: Push my first meal as far back as I comfortably can. Today I made it to 1 PM.

    • Step 3: Break the fast with clean protein + my green drink. Today it was organic turkey roll-ups and my nutrient-packed green drink to replenish what last night stole from me. (Alcohol is a nutrient thief. It burns through vitamins and minerals faster than you think.)

By the time I finished that first meal, the inflammation fog started to lift. My joints eased up, my stomach flattened, and I felt like me again.

⸻

Why this works for me

Think of it like this: when your body is overloaded with heavy food, sugar, alcohol, or all three, it’s already in cleanup mode. The last thing it needs is more work. Fasting gives your system a break so it can focus on repair. And when you finally do eat, giving it clean protein and nutrient-dense foods is like sending in a rescue crew.

⸻

Other little fixes I swear by on “blah” days:

    • Electrolytes – especially if you’ve been drinking alcohol. Your cells need the charge.

    • A walk in the sun – gets your lymph moving, clears your head, boosts your mood.

    • Extra sleep the next night – your body does its deepest repair while you sleep.

    • Collagen + antioxidants – skin, joints, and that healthy glow bounce back faster. (Hello, Glotrition Super Beauty Elixir)

⸻

This isn’t about punishing yourself for enjoying a good night.

It’s about having a reset button. A way to say, OK, that was fun… and now we’re back to taking care of ourself.

Here’s what I know. Feeling “blah” isn’t just about one late dinner or one glass too many. It’s the same energy that sneaks in when you’re carrying extra hormonal weight, running on an empty nervous system, saying yes when you should be setting boundaries, and waking up to a life that feels… fine, but not yours.

I decided I wasn’t going to live like that anymore. I took midlife, flipped it on its head, and turned it into a chapter I’m obsessed with. A life I’m genuinely excited to wake up to every single morning.

If you’re ready to do the same, here’s the link to The Plot Twist Protocol. It’s my personal roadmap to non-blahness, full energy, and the glow-up you can’t buy at Sephora.💕

If you’re not ready to jump into the midlife overhaul that is The Plot Twist Protocol quite yet, then just hang with me here on Substack. But then I started paying attention to how I felt around certain times of the year and let’s just say this one hits different.

The Lion’s Gate Portal happens every year on 8/8. It’s when the Sun is in Leo and a star called Sirius rises in the sky and lines up with the Earth and this ancient pyramid in Egypt. I know. It sounds made up. But it’s not. Even NASA acknowledges Sirius as the brightest star in our sky. purpose, all of it. And little by little I built my way out of that rut. I dumped the weight and started feeling more like myself again. Scratch that. I started feeling better than I ever had.

Now when stuff like Lion’s Gate comes around, I don’t roll my eyes. I lean in. I use it. I grab a notebook. I write things down. I check in with myself. I listen for the next right move.

Because when you’re rebuilding your life from the inside out, these little energetic checkpoints can be super clarifying.

⸻

What I’m doing today

Here’s what I’m doing leading up to 8/8 and you can totally steal this

1. A quick brain dump of what I want to release

What patterns or thoughts are just taking up space in my head

Not serving me

Not helping me grow

Gone

2. A power list of what I’m ready to call in

Energy

Discipline

Deeper connection

Better sleep

Stronger boundaries

Clear next steps

Yes please

3. One small physical action to ground it

Maybe I go on a walk

Maybe I tidy up a space that’s been bugging me

Maybe I delete old emails or finally update a password

Something small but symbolic

It’s not just about the vibe

It’s about the follow-through

⸻

If you’re in a plot twist season too…

This is the exact kind of thing I guide you through in The Plot Twist Protocol. It’s my brand new roadmap for women who are ready to stop spiraling and start creating their second act with intention. It’s not a course. It’s a glow-up strategy. Think less hustle, more alignment. Less chaos, more clarity.

It’s what I wish I had when I was in the thick of it.

And if you’re reading this and thinking, girl I don’t even know where to start, that’s the best place to begin. The best transformations usually start with one quiet decision that says… I’m not doing it this way anymore.

⸻

Want to get the full protocol?

You can check it out here. Or just hang with me here on Substack. I’ll be sharing more tools, stories, and plot twist energy all month.
