On August 28th, at 12:18 AM Eastern, the sky delivers a Full Moon in Pisces, and it’s not an ordinary one. This is a Lunar Eclipse, sitting at just under 5° Pisces, directly across from the Sun in Virgo. If it’s felt like something has been quietly building in you since last year, this is the moment it comes fully into view.

😱 This eclipse isn’t a stand-alone event.

It’s the sixth chapter in a longer story the sky has been telling along the Virgo-Pisces axis since September 2024, a story that doesn’t fully close until February 2027. So if health, service, boundaries, faith, or your emotional world have felt unresolved for a while now, this is less a new chapter and more a turning point in one you’re already living.

💡 A Crisis of Clarity, Not Catastrophe

Lunar eclipses have a reputation for drama, but what they really deliver is awareness. Suddenly, something you’ve been missing, avoiding, or quietly living without becomes impossible to ignore. Nothing “happens to you” so much as something that was already happening finally gets named.

This time, that clarity has real staying power. The Sun and Mercury are conjunct in Virgo right alongside this eclipse, which means whatever gets illuminated isn’t just a passing feeling, it’s something you’ll actually be able to put into words. Expect conversations, realizations, or truths that stick rather than fade by the weekend.

☯️ The Push and Pull of Virgo and Pisces

Virgo and Pisces sit opposite each other for a reason. Virgo wants order: routines, health, service, the practical scaffolding that holds a life together. Pisces wants surrender: faith, imagination, rest, the parts of us that can’t be scheduled or proven. When an eclipse activates this axis, it’s asking where you’ve leaned too hard into one at the expense of the other. Where has structure turned into rigidity? Where has surrender turned into avoidance?

This eclipse also squares Uranus, which is the part of the chart most likely to bring the jolt. Expect something sudden, an insight, a shift, a piece of information you weren’t looking for. And because this eclipse sits conjunct the North Node rather than the South Node, it’s not primarily about closing a door. It’s pointing you forward, toward something not yet built.

🏹 A Yod Aimed Straight at the Heart of the Matter

There’s also a rare configuration forming around this eclipse, a Yod, (sometimes called the Finger of God or Finger of Fate), with Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune in Aries both pointing toward that Virgo Sun. Pluto asks for radical honesty and freedom from anything codependent or outdated. Neptune stirs a longing for passionate, idealized connection. Both of them funnel into Virgo’s practical, detail-oriented lens.

In relationships especially, this can feel like a very specific kind of reckoning. You may see a pattern with a partner, a friend, or even yourself with sudden, undeniable clarity. There’s a real temptation under this configuration to want to analyze, critique, or fix what you’re seeing. The deeper invitation is different: not to mold what you love into an ideal, but to meet it honestly, exactly as it actually is.

🌟 A Star Watching Over the Threshold

This eclipse also lands close to the fixed star Fomalhaut, one of the four ancient Persian Royal Stars, traditionally called the Watcher of the South. Fomalhaut carries a reputation for inspiration, vision, and idealism, but also for exposing what’s false. Paired with an eclipse already known for surfacing hidden truths, this is a sky that isn’t interested in letting illusions stand much longer.

🎴 What the Cards Are Saying

The Moon and the Eight of Cups both feel like natural companions to this eclipse. The Moon speaks to psychic sensitivity and the parts of us that live beneath conscious thought, exactly the territory Pisces governs. The Eight of Cups is the card of walking away from something that once felt like enough, not out of despair, but because a deeper truth is calling you elsewhere.

Even the degree itself has something to say. The Sabian symbol for this part of Pisces is “a church bazaar,” an image of the sacred showing up in the middle of ordinary life. It’s a reminder that spiritual meaning doesn’t only live in grand, quiet moments. Sometimes it’s found in the everyday exchanges we almost overlook, if we’re paying attention.

Just three days after this eclipse, on August 31st, Jupiter and Saturn form a trine. After an eclipse that can stir things up fast, this is genuinely good news: whatever gets revealed under this Full Moon has real support to become something lasting, rather than dissolving into chaos. This isn’t disruption for its own sake. It’s disruption with a foundation waiting to receive it.

The effects of this eclipse tend to linger, often for months, not days. So if something feels unresolved on August 29th, give it time. This is a sky asking you to see clearly, feel fully, and trust that what’s revealed now is building toward something real.

The other morning, I was out watering my garden, half-awake, coffee in hand, doing the quiet little rituals that ground me before the day gets loud. While I was out there, I started trimming the “suckers” off my tomato plant, those small shoots that grow in the crotch between the stem and a branch, stealing energy without ever producing fruit of their own.

Two days later, I walked outside and gasped a little. An influx of tomatoes had turned red almost overnight. There were more of them than before. The whole plant looked healthier, fuller, more alive.

And I heard my gardening guru friend Erin’s voice in my head, the way she always says it: “You have to get rid of the suckers.”

She’s talking about tomato plants. But she might as well be talking about our souls.

When we trim away the suckers in our own lives, whatever’s quietly feeding off our energy without ever giving anything back, we create space. Space for oxygen. Space for new growth. Space for our own spirit to rejuvenate, undistracted, undrained.

We don’t always realize how much a sucker is costing us until it’s gone. That’s true of the dead, diseased leaves on a tomato plant. And it’s true of the people, habits, and old stories in our real lives that quietly sap our light without adding a single thing back.

🥸 Energy suckers, both of them, just wearing different disguises .

So today, I’m asking you the same question my garden asked me: what are your suckers? What’s growing in the in-between spaces of your life, taking nutrients meant for your bloom?

Trim them. Gently, but truly. Not out of anger, just out of care for the fruit that’s trying to ripen.

I promise, you’ll be shocked at how much brighter and more abundant you become once you stop feeding what was never meant to flower. 🌿

And hey, if my tomato plant can figure this out, so can we. Now if only someone could explain that lesson to the pickle worms currently feasting their way through every last one of my zucchini! They’ve rendered the whole crop useless, RIP to my summer squash dreams.

A Solar Eclipse is a New Moon that’s had one too many espressos, a beginning so amplified it can reshape the next six months of your life. And this one lands at 20° Leo, the sign of the heart, the stage, the undeniable self. Leo doesn’t ask to be seen. Leo simply is seen.

This is the second eclipse in a brand new series that started back in February and runs through 2028, a multi-year story about the pull between who you are and where you belong. Between your own light and the group you shine it for. Every eclipse in this series will circle back to that same question, in different ways, for the next two years. This is just the first real test of it.

On July 29th, the Moon swells to fullness at 6° Aquarius, and it lands right in the center of one of the most charged skies of the year. This isn’t a soft lunation. It’s a reckoning wrapped in liberation, and if the last few weeks have felt like a held breath, this is the exhale.

Here’s what’s actually happening up there, and what it’s asking of you.

🌊 A Moon That Doesn’t Do Surface Level

The Full Moon is conjunct Pluto, which means whatever this lunation touches, it touches all the way down. Nothing stays hidden under a Pluto influence. Power dynamics come into focus. Truths that have been quietly waiting get their moment.

Directly across the sky, the Sun sits with Jupiter in Leo, fused so closely it’s called a ‘Cazimi’, one of the most fortunate placements a chart can hold. This is warmth, confidence, and soul-deep courage, radiating outward.

So you’ve got two forces pulling at once. One side wants to excavate. The other wants to expand. That tension isn’t a glitch in the chart, it’s the whole point. Growth tends to live exactly where those two forces meet.

🔮 The Extra Layers Worth Knowing

A few more threads are woven into this particular Full Moon, and each one changes the flavor of what you’re working with.

Uranus, Aquarius’s modern ruler, is trine both Pluto and the Moon itself. In trine, Uranus doesn’t disrupt, it opens. Think of it as the universe handing you a door that’s already unlocked.

Saturn, Aquarius’s traditional ruler, just stationed retrograde and is squaring Mercury. This is the sobering counterweight. Saturn wants honesty, not performance, and in square to Mercury it’s asking you to slow down before you speak. Are you telling yourself the truth, or just the version that’s easiest to live with?

The fixed star Bos, meaning “cow” in Latin, is aligned with this Moon. Carrying a Saturn-Venus signature, Bos is considered fortunate, lending a clear-eyed sharpness that’s especially favorable for strategy and purposeful decisions, if you’re willing to actually use it.

And then there’s Thor’s Hammer. Venus and Mars are locked in an exact square, both sesquiquadrate to Pluto, forming a pattern referred to by Astrologers as “The Fist of God”. It’s not a whisper, it’s a strike. Venus square Mars already creates friction between what you want and what you value, and Pluto adds an undercurrent that’s been simmering quietly and is now done waiting. This isn’t energy to sit with. It’s energy to move through.

🌝 What This Full Moon Is Really Offering

Put together, this sky is deep and expansive at once. Intense and fortunate. Electrically freeing and unflinchingly honest, all in the same breath.

This is a truth-telling Moon. A breakthrough Moon. One that asks you to stop performing your life and start actually living it.

Two big shifts landed back to back this week, and together they mark one of the more welcome turning points of the summer.

🦁 On July 22, the Sun moved into Leo.

After weeks of Cancer season asking us to feel everything, hold space for our own tenderness, and sit with what’s beneath the surface, Leo arrives like a match being struck. This is fire energy. Bold, warm, unapologetic. The Sun in Leo doesn’t ask you to shrink or soften. It asks you to show up. To create. To be seen. To remember that joy is not frivolous, it’s fuel.

🧘🏻 If the first half of July felt heavy or emotionally saturated, Leo season is your exhale. It’s permission to be a little more playful, a little more visible, a little more yourself, out loud.

🪐 Today, July 23, Mercury stations direct at 16° Cancer, officially ending the retrograde cycle that began back on June 29. This one had a distinctly emotional flavor. Miscommunications that hit close to home. Old feelings resurfacing in conversations you thought were long settled. A pull to revisit, reflect, and reconsider before moving forward again.

🌫️ Mercury going direct doesn’t mean everything instantly resolves. Think of it less like a light switch and more like a slow turn, the kind where the ship starts moving the right way again but the wake behind it is still settling. Give yourself through early August for that shadow period to fully clear before you sign anything major or make big calls. But the sense of being stuck in a loop, the foggy indecision, the conversations that kept circling without landing? That starts to lift now.

💡 What’s beautiful is how these two shifts talk to each other. Mercury direct brings the clarity. Leo season brings the courage to actually act on it. First you see it clearly. Then you get to walk toward it boldly.

Three things are converging this half of the month: a jolt of sudden clarity, a return to your own confidence, and a shift that resets the next year and a half of collective direction.

Let’s talk about all three.

The jolt. Uranus has been quietly active in the background all month, and its influence peaks now ... sudden insight, unexpected openings, things loosening that have felt stuck for a while. It doesn’t ease you into change gently; it just clears space fast. If something shifts out of nowhere this week, trust it rather than second-guessing it.

The return.

After weeks of emotional depth, the Sun moves into Leo and something in the air just gets lighter. More confidence, more color, more willingness to actually be seen. Mercury also goes direct around the same time, and the clarity it brings isn’t just mental - it’s the kind of knowing that settles in your gut rather than your head. Conversations that stalled start moving. Foggy decisions start to organize themselves.

Saturn turns retrograde toward the end of the stretch too, which tends to feel like an honest, unglamorous check-in: what have you been avoiding, or letting slide, that actually needs your attention now? Not punishment. Just useful.

The reset.

Then, right as July closes, the biggest shift of the whole month: the lunar nodes change signs, resetting the collective’s direction for the next eighteen months - away from performance and personal spotlight, toward something more shared and purposeful. One more thing to have on your radar: July 29th brings a Full Moon in Aquarius landing the exact same day as a rare, once-a-year Jupiter alignment.

This one lands at 21°59’ Cancer, at 5:43am EDT...and it’s not landing quietly!

The Sun and Moon are meeting less than two degrees from retrograde Mercury, which means this isn’t just a New Moon in the sign of home and feeling. It’s a New Moon where your mind and your emotions are, for a moment, indistinguishable from each other. What you feel right now IS what you think. There’s no separating the two.

There’s something else worth knowing: this New Moon is landing in Cancer’s third decan - the final ten-degree stretch of the sign, the part most concerned with memory, lineage, and the long arc of family time. Every Cancer New Moon touches home. This one touches the family tree itself.

That’s why this one isn’t asking you to plan ahead. It’s asking you to look backward first. Old family dynamics. People you haven’t thought about in a while. A version of a memory you’re finally ready to look at with clearer eyes. None of this is a mistake or a setback... it’s the moon handing you a chance to actually finish something instead of burying it again.

It’s also making a tense connection to Saturn in Aries, which means this isn’t a soft, passive kind of reflecting. It’s asking you to set an actual boundary. To take responsibility for your own emotional safety instead of falling back into whatever old habit usually numbs it. This is a Full Moon of reckoning. Not the harsh, cold kind ... but the sacred kind. The kind that only comes when the soul has grown just enough to finally see clearly.

The Sun sits in tender Cancer, bathing in memory, in home, in the quiet ache of belonging. The Moon answers from Capricorn - structured, purposeful, mountain-steady. Together, they illuminate the axis of where you come from and where you’re going. Of the home you carry inside you, and the legacy you’re building in the world.

This Full Moon closes a chapter that began on December 31, 2025.

Think back to that New Moon in Capricorn. What seed did you plant - even quietly, even without ceremony? A goal. A commitment. A quiet promise to yourself about who you were becoming.

This is the harvest moment. The light of this Full Moon is asking you to look honestly at what grew… and what didn’t. What flourished under your care , and what quietly drained you while you weren’t watching.

You may not have felt it as a revelation. Chiron rarely announces itself that way. It moves more like a tide... quietly, persistently, and with the kind of patience that only comes from knowing it has time.

Because it does.

Chiron will be in Taurus until 2034. This is not a passing transit. This is a chapter. A long, slow, sacred excavation of some of the deepest wounds a soul can carry.

And the wound it is coming for? The belief that you are not enough.

🦄 The Myth Behind the Medicine

Before we go further, let’s talk about who Chiron actually was.

In Greek mythology, Chiron was no ordinary centaur. While most centaurs were wild and impulsive - creatures of appetite and chaos - Chiron was wise. Patient. Deeply learned. He was a healer, a teacher, a mentor to some of the greatest heroes of the ancient world. Achilles, Jason, Asclepius - all studied under him. He was revered. He was irreplaceable.

And he carried a wound that would never heal.

The story varies in its details, but the heart of it is this: Chiron was accidentally struck by a poisoned arrow - some say by Heracles himself, the very hero he had helped shape. The wound was incurable. And because Chiron was immortal, he could not even find relief in death. He lived in perpetual pain.

And yet he kept teaching. Kept healing. Kept showing up for others with the full depth of his wisdom ... wisdom that was inseparable from his suffering.

Eventually, in an act of profound sacrifice, Chiron offered his immortality so that Prometheus could be freed. He chose mortality. He chose the release of death over an eternity of unhealed pain.

That is the soul of this archetype.

The one who suffers. The one who serves. The one who transforms their wound into the very medicine the world needs.

And now Chiron has entered Taurus... asking each of us to do the same.

💚 What Chiron Has Been Healing

For the past eight years, Chiron moved through Aries - working on wounds of identity, initiation, and the right to simply exist as yourself. The places where you were told you were too much. Too bold. Too loud. Too yourself. Many of us have spent nearly a decade quietly rebuilding a sense of who we are after those early wounds to selfhood.

That work is not complete. It never fully is.

But now the focus shifts into something earthier. Something that lives in the body, in the bank account, in the quiet voice that whispers: “you don’t deserve this” , when something beautiful arrives.

On May 31st at 4:45 in the morning, the moon reaches fullness at 9° of Sagittarius -and it is doing so conjunct Antares, one of the great Royal Stars of the ancient sky. Antares is the heart of the Scorpion. It carries the energy of Archangel Uriel, the Watcher of the West, and it is associated with spirit of adventure, courage, and the kind of bold leap that changes everything. This is not a soft, introspective full moon. This is a full moon that has an arrow pulled back and aimed at something ... and it is about to release.

Sagittarius is the sign of truth, freedom, expansion, and the relentless search for meaning. It is the archer, the philosopher, the explorer who cannot stay still when there is more horizon to cross. And right now, under this full moon, the question the sky is asking is simple and also everything - what do you actually believe? Not what you were told to believe. Not what once made sense. What is true for you now?

Because something has shifted. In your mind, in your heart, in your understanding of how things work and what you are here for. The beliefs that carried you this far may not be the ones that carry you forward. And this full moon is the moment that becomes undeniable.

❤️‍🩹 Neptune in Aries - the spiritual warrior has arrived. Neptune in Aries is dissolving our old ideas about what it means to be a pioneer, to fight for something, to assert ourselves in the world. The guru is being dethroned. The external authority is being dissolved. People will rely on their own intuition over external teachers - more self-led, more sovereign, more awake to their own inner knowing. Neptune in Aries says: you are the one you have been waiting for.

And here is the part that gives me chills.

🔺 Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are forming a harmonious configuration... a rare minor triangle - and when these three outer planets are in cooperative dialogue, we are in good cosmic hands. Even within the tension. Even within the chaos. Even when the world feels like it is coming apart at the seams... and sometimes it genuinely does feel that way - there is a plan in the architecture. These three are not fighting each other. They are building something together.

🌎 Uranus in Gemini trine Pluto in Aquarius is an excellent transit for large-scale progress, systemic innovation, and technological acceleration. May is not done with us yet!

We made it through the first half the Full Moon in Scorpio, the intensity, the reckoning ... and now? The energy completely shifts.

This week has a heartbeat to it. And if you slow down enough to feel it, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
