Not quite summer anymore. Not quite fall. Just a natural moment to notice what’s working, what feels good, and what we want to carry forward.

I closed out August with a weekend that felt like a reflection of the life I’m continuing to create: golf, morning runs, pickleball, yoga, a dip in the pool, beautiful spaces, fresh food, cooking at home, meaningful work behind the brand, and unhurried time with the best company.

Movement and rest. Work and play. Nourishment and connection.

This is where The Well Home Method continues to come to life for me.

It isn’t about creating a perfectly optimized routine or a perfectly styled home. It’s about paying attention to the relationship between our mind, body, and home — and recognizing that each one shapes the way we experience the others.

The way we move our bodies can change the way we think.

The spaces we live in can influence the way we feel.

What we eat, what we consume, who we spend our time with, and what we choose to create all become part of the environment we are building around ourselves.

And sometimes, living well looks remarkably simple.

A run before the day gets busy.

Fresh food on the counter.

A yoga class.

Dinner made at home.

Sunlight.

A beautiful room.

A project you’re excited to keep building.

Time with someone you love without watching the clock.

As September begins, I’m less interested in reinventing everything and more interested in continuing what feels aligned.

Keeping the movement.

Keeping the presence.

Keeping the meaningful work.

Keeping more space for the people, places, and rituals that make life feel expansive rather than hurried.

A new month doesn’t require a completely new version of ourselves. Sometimes it simply gives us an opportunity to become more intentional about the version we’re already creating.

So I’m entering September with the same thought I’m carrying through The Well Home Method:

Strong start. Strong finish.
Mind. Body. Home.

The Well Home Method

Cardio tennis. Movement. Fresh air. Familiar faces and spaces. Conversation. Competition. Community.

And then, a full day of work - building a business, developing a brand, making decisions, creating, and continuing to shape The Well Home Method into something much bigger than an idea.

There was a time when I might have viewed the first part of that morning as what happened before the productive part of my day.

Now I see it differently.

It was part of the productive part.

A full life is different from a busy life.

We talk a lot about building businesses, careers, brands, homes and financial security and investments.

We talk less about intentionally building the life that holds all of those things.

A calendar can be completely full while a life feels surprisingly empty.

The goal, at least for me, isn’t to fill every available hour. It’s to become increasingly intentional about what gets an hour in the first place.

Work that matters.

Movement that makes me feel strong.

Relationships that make life richer.

Spaces that make me want to slow down and stay awhile.

Quiet enough to think.

And a home that supports who I am becoming rather than simply housing everything I own.

Community belongs in the wellness conversation.

Wellness has become so individualized.

Our workouts. Our supplements. Our morning routines. Our sleep scores. Our meditation practices.

All of those things can matter.

But so do the people around us.

There is something incredibly healthy about having places where people know your name. About moving alongside other people. Laughing between points. Showing up consistently enough that acquaintances become friends and routines begin to feel like rituals.

Community isn’t an accessory to a well life.

It’s part of one.

And I’m realizing that the places we choose to spend our time can make that kind of connection easier—or harder.

Our environments quietly shape us

This is where my worlds of real estate and wellness continue to collide.

I believe our surroundings influence far more than we give them credit for.

A beautiful walking path makes you more likely to walk.

A kitchen you enjoy being in can change the way you nourish yourself.

A home with a quiet corner can make reflection easier.

A neighborhood or club built around gathering can make connection more natural.

A tennis court at sunrise can make movement feel less like another obligation and more like a privilege.

Environment shapes behavior. Behavior shapes our days. And our days eventually become our lives.

That’s one of the ideas at the heart of The Well Home Method.

Ambition and wellbeing don’t have to compete.

I still want to build.

I want to build a meaningful business. A recognizable brand. Financial abundance. Beautiful spaces. Strong relationships. A healthy body. A peaceful mind.

But I’m no longer interested in the version of ambition that says life begins after the next milestone.

After the launch.

After the deal.

After the revenue goal.

After the schedule calms down.

Because there will always be another milestone.

The challenge is learning how to build something significant without postponing the experience of living well until you’ve built it.

Thursday morning reminded me of that.

The sunrise wasn’t separate from the work.

The tennis wasn’t separate from the work.

The conversations weren’t separate from the work.

They were nourishing the person who would go home and do the work.

The Well Home Method

This is what I’m continuing to explore through The Well Home Method:

Mind. Body. Home.

Not as three separate categories, but as an interconnected way of building a life.

How we think affects how we move.

How we move affects how we feel.

Where we live affects our routines.

Our routines affect our relationships.

Our relationships affect our wellbeing.

And all of it affects the energy and clarity we bring to our work.

I’m building a business.

I’m building a brand.

But I’m also building mornings like this one.

Relationships.

Rituals.

Strength.

Peace.

A sense of home.

Because you don’t build the business first and the life later.

You build the life in the way you live the day.

How we value them. How we buy and sell them. What makes one property stand apart from another.

But increasingly, I’ve found myself thinking about home through a different lens:

How does the place we live affect the way we live?

Because a home is more than an asset.

It’s the environment where we begin and end almost every day.

It influences our routines. Our energy. How we move. How we rest. How we gather. How we work. How we connect with the people we love—and, perhaps most importantly, with ourselves.

That idea is at the heart of something I’ve been quietly building:

The Well Home Method.

Mind · Body · Home

For a long time, we’ve been taught to think about wellness as something we do.

Take the class.

Eat the right foods.

Meditate.

Journal.

Get enough sleep.

Drink the green juice.

And I believe in all of those things.

But I also believe we’re missing an important part of the conversation:

the environment in which we’re trying to do them.

Our surroundings can either support the way we want to live—or make that life harder to create.

A kitchen can invite us to gather and nourish.

A bedroom can encourage restoration.

Natural light can change the energy of a morning.

An outdoor space can encourage us to step outside, move our bodies and breathe.

A quiet corner can give us somewhere to think.

Even something as simple as fresh flowers, an open window, a beautifully made bed or a cup of coffee enjoyed without rushing can change the way we experience an ordinary day.

These aren’t necessarily grand gestures.

They’re small choices that influence how life feels.

And that’s where Mind · Body · Home come together.

What if we thought about home differently?

Working in real estate has given me the opportunity to experience countless homes.

We often evaluate them through numbers:

Square footage.

Bedrooms.

Bathrooms.

Location.

Price.

Resale value.

All important.

But there is another question I’ve become increasingly interested in:

Does this home support the life you actually want to live?

Not the life that photographs beautifully.

Not the life we’re told we’re supposed to want.

Your life.

Where will you drink your coffee in the morning?

Is there somewhere you naturally want to move your body?

Can you step outside?

Where will everyone gather?

Does your bedroom allow you to truly retreat?

Does the space create calm—or constantly ask something from you?

Those questions aren’t traditionally part of a real estate conversation.

I think perhaps they should be.

Wellness doesn’t have to be another thing to accomplish.

This has also changed the way I think about wellness.

I love movement. I love yoga. I believe deeply in taking care of our bodies and creating practices that help us feel grounded, strong and present.

But I don’t want wellness to become another performance metric.

Another checklist.

Another area of life where we’re somehow falling behind.

I’m much more interested in creating environments and rhythms where living well becomes easier.

Where movement fits naturally into the day.

Where rest is protected.

Where beauty makes us pause.

Where our surroundings help us return to ourselves.

Less wellness as an obligation. More wellness woven into everyday life.

That’s the Well Home Method.

The Well Home Method sits at the intersection of the worlds I’ve spent years living and working within:

Real Estate · Wellness · Home

And it’s built around three interconnected pillars:

Mind — how we think, reset, focus and create space internally.

Body — how we move, nourish, rest and care for ourselves.

Home — how our physical environment supports—or works against—the first two.

None exists completely independently of the others.

When our surroundings feel chaotic, we often feel it.

When our bodies feel depleted, our experience of everything around us changes.

When our minds are overwhelmed, even a beautiful environment can become difficult to enjoy.

But when we begin creating alignment between the three, something shifts.

Life can feel a little more intentional.

A little more grounded.

And perhaps a little more well.

This is just the beginning.

I’m building the Well Home Method as more than a content series.

It’s becoming a philosophy that will live across Live Well with Ashlee, my work in real estate, wellness, the conversations I’m having here, and eventually the experiences and gatherings I hope to create around it.

There will be practical ideas.

Beautiful spaces.

Movement.

Travel.

Homes.

Rituals.

Conversations.

And plenty of exploration around what living well actually means.

I don’t believe there is one perfect version of a well-lived life.

I do believe we can become much more intentional about creating the conditions for one.

And perhaps one of the most powerful places to begin is the place we return to every day.

Today, at 12 p.m. on a Monday, I traded my laptop for a yoga mat.

Not because I wasn’t busy.

Because I was.

And that, for me, is exactly the point.

I’ve become increasingly interested in the relationship between how we live and how we work — the spaces we create, the rituals we return to, and the small decisions that determine how we feel throughout the day.

A midday yoga class doesn’t change the demands of a Monday.

It changes the way I meet them.

I walked into class thinking about everything that needed to get done.

I walked out with a little more space between the thought and the reaction. A little more clarity. A little less noise.

And I’ve started to believe that this matters far beyond yoga.

The space between the hustle

We’re surrounded by messaging that celebrates the hustle.

More output. More efficiency. More optimization. More.

And ambition is a beautiful thing. I have no interest in pretending otherwise.

But I’ve become less interested in the idea that constantly pushing forward is the only evidence that we’re moving forward.

There is value in the pause.

In stepping away from the screen.

In changing your environment.

In moving your body.

In allowing your mind to catch up with everything you’ve been asking it to carry.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is create enough space to think clearly again.

This is where the Well Home Method begins.

I’m building the Well Home Method around a simple idea:

The way we experience our homes, our bodies, and our lives are more connected than we often realize.

Home isn’t simply where we live.

It is where our routines happen.

Where we wake up.

Where we work.

Where we rest.

Where we gather.

Where we become ourselves.

And wellness isn’t simply what happens on a yoga mat.

It’s how we move through our day.

How we create boundaries.

How we care for our energy.

How our environments support — or compete with — the life we’re trying to build.

This is the intersection I’m interested in exploring through the Well Home Method: mind, body, and home.

Live Well with Ashlee is part of that conversation — the way we live and the spaces we create.

Love Well with Ashlee is another — movement, wellness, and the relationship we have with ourselves.

The Well Home Method brings those ideas together.

So, yes. I’m posting the yoga photo.

And maybe this is also a small declaration about how I want to show up professionally.

I don’t want to separate the woman who works in real estate from the woman who practices yoga.

I don’t want to separate business from wellbeing.

And I don’t think I need to choose between being ambitious and being well.

That’s not the brand I’m building.

I’m much more interested in the founder POV than the fitness influencer POV.

The yoga clothes aren’t the point.

The yoga isn’t even really the point.

The perspective is.

What happens when we create environments — externally and internally — that allow us to do our best work and live a fuller life?

That’s the question I’m asking.

And today, on a very busy Monday, the answer started with a 12 p.m. pause.

Then I went back to work.

Just a little more clear.

A little more grounded.

And, I think, a little more well.

Welcome to the Well Home Method.

I think about this a lot as a yoga teacher. My energy is my currency. I invest it wisely — and lately, that investment looks less like doing more and more like returning more. Returning to breath. Returning to stillness. Returning to the parts of myself I abandon when life gets loud.

This is what I mean by The Well Home Method: the belief that wellness lives at the intersection of mind, body, and home — and that tending to one without the others is only half the practice.

More on this soon. For now, a few glimpses of the practice itself. 🤍

The affirmations are short, sweet and accompanied by a few deep breaths. I recite these throughout the day when I feel I need to cultivate some intentional clarity and awareness to my mind, body and spirit.

This practice leaves me feeling powerful and provides an overall sense of renewal. I step back into my day with a more confident perspective, every time. These can be said out loud or to ourselves in silence, anytime, anywhere and doesn’t require anything other than our time and presence. No fancy clothes, props or aesthetic venues required. It’s a “come as you are” experience.

I’ve decided to record and post my personal morning practice, brief and unpolished, to encourage others to practice and follow along.

I’m sending this morning’s video for reference. Today’s affirmation is: Today I lead with calm, clarity, and complete presence.

My 3 favorite ways to enhance any nook in my home space are:

• Fresh Flowers

• Fresh Produce or a candle

• Books

If the seasonal produce doesn’t make sense for whatever reason, substitute with a candle. I like to collect matches from memorable moments, events, restaurants and place near the candle for accessibility and to spark joy.

All of these items can be purchased at your local farmer’s market right now. It’s a great way to have conversations with the artisans and farmers and better understand what’s happening in the local community.

What are you committing to this season?

As someone who focuses on conscious awareness in every now moment paired with habit optimization, I’ve learned that this is generally true. Personally, professionally and everywhere in between.

The idea suggests that if you are careless or cut corners on small tasks, you likely do the same in significant areas of life. It also serves as a reminder to bring integrity and excellence to every action, no matter how small.

Honesty in our relationships begins with honesty and integrity within ourselves. We cannot give to others what we don’t choose to give to ourselves.

Falling out of integrity happens, truth and communication are the tools that drop us right back into alignment. Conscious awareness is the vehicle that takes us there and back.

Close your eyes, take a deep breath in then a deep breath out. Repeat 10x and notice the conscious awareness creep in. I love how accessible and easy that can feel when we choose to be aware.

When we decide to take a leap and jump, everything feels unfamiliar. We do however, get to choose how we move through that void. It’s through our conscious awareness and our relationship with our thoughts, words and actions that help guide our landing.

Relocations, renovations, home décor, life transitions and shared spaces that we are currently choosing may not always be ideal. A friend and fellow yoga teacher said to me recently, “Oh, you must be in the jump. I’ve jumped a lot this year.” I paused, “I am in the jump!”

The flight feels light and wildly uncertain. I can sense the other side but do not feel the earth beneath my feet.

Fall encourages a slower approach, to transition with intention. An invitation to fully choose what we’re planting and to allow the rest to Fall.

Let it go, with vigor.

So, if the other side is what we desire most. We must leap, enjoy the flight and stick a landing to be proud of.

Affirmation of the Day: I am in perfect alignment with diving timing. 💌

Is it aligned with the vision we have of our best lives, for the short and long term? Take a moment to close your eyes, take a deep breath in through your nose and a big exhale out of your mouth. Then ask yourself this question, “Are the habits and people I’m choosing aligned with my values and the vision I have for my life?

Our bodies will always tell us where we are not free. Notice, observe, listen and feel. Again, from a place of no judgement.

How can we recalibrate to align with our highest and best selves? Get quiet and ask self, “Where did I miss the mark and where did I get it right?” The part of us that is clear on what we desire, what we value and what we stand for will respond. Adjust accordingly.

Conversations and content revolving around the upcoming Fall season, all things Q4 and future focused life to be excited about. People, places and things to look forward to. What a gift, to always have something to look forward to. A new season, chapter, flavor, person or activity. What version of ourselves can we bring into the present that encourages us to be excited about finishing the summer strong? To really see it through, from a calm and conscious place within us.

Many of us are sending kids back to school this August. New grades, friends, routines, schedules, people and places will be introduced into the hearts and homes of the people we love most.  What filters, habits, rituals and routines can we implement to ensure we are staying on track each day. What and who provide our daily calm and steady? That feeling and frequency that gives a feedback loop that we’re exactly where we need to be. Because, we are. And so it is.

Three Affirmations I’m loving and want to share with you:

• I vibrate at 432hz frequency, the frequency of creation 

• I radiate confidence, magnetism and power 

• I allow my manifestations to flow effortlessly to me

In this modern world of existing online and the opportunity to be consistently connected, why is it that so few people feel and experience true connection. It’s a practice to tune out the noise and tune into what’s most important. To be where our feet are and really honor the company we’ve chosen. The art of silence, eye gazing and active listening. The power of loving touch, radical candor and deep communication. Our intentional attention to each breathe, word and kiss.

Whether we’re leaning into new people, community and spaces or we’re getting to know those we’re familiar with, yet again. Allowing the beginners mindset to guide us to exist and tether from a space of here and now, always results in feeling brand new.

Relish in the Sunday essence that’s woven into the fabric of August. Our final full month of the Summer season. The longer days, the sunlight on our skin, the full bloom abundance of nature and the slower pace of the season.

While I fully appreciate the seasonal forecasting that occurs in life, business, schools and other capitalistic weavings into Western culture. The conversations, content, retail and culture propaganda that’s always pushing the next thing, when we’re not even half way through the thing that comes before that, I find to be heartbreaking. A grande attribute in the underbelly of the struggle our collective has in simply being.

The encouragement to do, buy, plan, prepare and by all means, get the decorations up before your neighbor, is prioritized in the programming of our nervous systems before the peace and enjoyment of today’s now moments. Theres a difference between a blueprint for the next quarter, year or season and forcing the consumption in an effort to draw away our attention and focus to the present moment in time. It’s everywhere and it takes conscious and intentional mindfulness to consume responsibly.

Be present and enjoy summer! Based on observation, you’ll be wishing away and complaining about the next thing in no time. Give your nervous system and your heart what it needs most, something that cannot be found at even the best stores with an unlimited budget, the gift of being where our feet are and enjoying what’s in front of us. For now.

Friendly reminder, there’s no planning that’s required to simply exist. ❤️

In my personal life and in conversations with my clients, I’m often thinking about and talking about moving. We can be as intentional as possible with our choices to invest in our current homes and living spaces. We can also plan to the best of our abilities and life will still surprise us with unexpected moments. Times where we need to act swiftly with a change in direction. The need to pivot that results in a move. An acquiring, selling, and trading of some of our largest assets. Sometimes these circumstances have been planned for years; regardless, when getting organized for this, we need support.

A partner, a friend, mentor, an advisor (ME), attorney, accountant and anyone else that we know, like and trust to help guide us to our next phase. Our new chapter, the next level, a new city, town, hobby and beyond. We’re looking to position ourselves with the best outcome that aligns with overall values and our vision for the future.
