Hello sweet soul,

Today is 1 Iq’—the first breath. Air, wind, spirit, and the carrier of every message that wants to reach you. A new thirteen-day cycle opens today and runs through the 13th, and I want to tell you how mine began, because it began before I was out of bed.

I’m going to do this differently than usual. Normally I’d show you a beautiful altar and walk you through it object by object. Today I want to show you a morning instead.

The passage before

First, I need to share that my last thirteen days (the trecena of Toj) were brutal.

I was at the sacred fire, forced within. Not forced, exactly—because I choose this. I choose to follow what I hear, to follow the energy of a moment, and that choosing is its own kind of force. But it asked everything of me. I laid out my offerings. I laid out my gratitude. I sat with my Soul and with my people in the multidimensional field, and I received: guidance, healing, reciprocity. Real reciprocity, the kind that goes both directions.

I did not sleep through much of it—not through the week of the eclipse, not through the retreat I held.

Yesterday was the last day, 13 Imox, the deep waters at their fullness. I went to a swimming pool and dunked myself and swam and moved my body through water for a long while. And then last night it rained. A hard rain, not a gentle one. All night, here in New Mexico.

The land was blessed. My home was blessed. I was cleansed.

What arrived in a dream

I went to sleep with the rain and I woke at five having slept close to eight hours, which is no small thing after the two weeks I’d had. And when I woke, I didn’t move.

I followed my own guidance—the very guidance I give to you. Because the ancestors and my spirit teams speak to me in many ways, and one of them is in the dream space.

There, I was given a vision. A prophetic one, for myself. A whole offering, a whole program, shown to me in full: the participants, the way we were arranged with one another around desks, the scope of it, the length of it, what we were discussing. All of it acted out for me, in so many ways, until I understood.

And it doesn’t feel like it’s arriving soon. It feels like a 2027 offering. Something further out than I can see the shape of yet.

So I documented it through audio in that moment. And I tucked it away, because I know I’ll return to it.

Maybe this month I’ll give it some shape and see what it looks like. Maybe I’ll build it an altar and see what it feels like to sit with it. Maybe I’ll explore what still needs to come alive in me before I can hold that room.

But I won’t force it forward. This is what living in sacred time actually looks like from the inside: something arrives fully formed, and its season is still years out, and you don’t drag it into a calendar that isn’t ready for it. You let it be traveling toward you.

The morning itself

Then I got up.

I boiled water and made Cacao. I also made a very large cup of chai—which is what I crave the moment the seasons begin to turn. They haven’t really turned yet. It’s still hot in the day here. But the mornings have started to cool, and my body knows before the weather does.

Then I heard the call to walk through my home and light a candle in every room. A piece of incense in every room. That’s what Iq’ literally asked of me. And as the light came up, I opened all my doors and let the wind rush straight through the house—letting what was simply be moved.

It’s the wind of a changing season. It feels the way going back to school felt when you were young—fresh notebooks, fresh pens, a brand new Trapper Keeper. (I’m telling you my age with that one.) That particular charge of a clean page and a year that hasn’t happened yet.

Then I did my invocation with Cacao:

I call in East Air, South Fire, West Water, North Earth. The heart of the sky, and the heart of the earth, and the midpoint that connects them in my heart, where my Soul is the bridge.

I call in ether—the spaciousness in which this whole speaks.

I call in my spirit team, my angels, and my ancestors who wish to be healthy, whole, healed, forgiven, and who wish to forgive.

I call in the Mayan Sacred Calendar, and the energy of 1 Iq’. And I call in the spirit of Cacao.

In calling in Iq’, I call in all that wishes to move me over these next thirteen days. Words. Wisdom. Messages. Synchronicities. Ideas. Concepts.

Think of it as the Eight of Wands. Everything in flight at once, everything arriving.

I am inviting the world to move me. I am inviting the world to shift whatever wishes to be shifted. And I am inviting the world to tell me about it.

The egg

What I did next is a cleansing practice I’ve been learning, and before I describe it I want to say clearly: go through a fair amount of study with any practice you want to take up. Learn where it comes from. Learn what it asks. Don’t take a thing up because you read about it in someone’s letter on a Tuesday morning. ☺️

The ancestors have invited me to cleanse myself and others for years and I also have done some study of it, within my own lineage and with others.

But this practice always heals me. It’s better when someone else does it on me but, no matter, it always relieves whatever is on my back, on my shoulders, whatever has been pushing at me or weighing me down.

I took an egg out of the fridge last night and left it to come to room temperature. This morning I stood outside in the sunrise in my nightgown, egg in hand, and invited it to cleanse me.

I started at my head. Cleanse me. Down the sides of my head—and as I did, my left ear started ringing, which is a signal, so I stayed there longer. All over my face. Cleanse me. Up and down my neck. Across my shoulders, my back, my chest, my belly. My lower back. My legs.

Then back to the places that asked for more. The base of the back of my neck, which was tender—very tender. Remove anything that is not meant for me. Time for you to go. My heart. My belly again. The back of my neck once more.

Right-size me.

The crows came while I was doing it. The sunrise kept getting pinker.

Then I filled a glass with room-temperature water, cracked the egg into it, and watched. It went all the way to the bottom—which, for me, means the release was complete, that what needed to go went. The water had a yellow cast to it, and that told me something too: there are still stored emotions in me waiting to be released. I sprinkled a little salt over the top. I disposed of it properly, and sealed up the trash to take out.

And then I went back to bed. Back to the place I started, a little lighter. I finished my Cacao. Today, I rest and I ground, and I may take a bath.

I feel alive with the way I spent this morning. In reverence to this body. To this Soul. To the energy that is holding me.

What I’ll be listening for

Over the next thirteen days I will pay very close attention to the messages I receive.

Like the one in the dream. Like the one from the bird outside. Like the one in the wind that blew through my home. Like the wisdom that came through the tone of the light—the luster on the clouds after a night of hard rain.

They come from everywhere. That is the whole nature of Iq’. Breath and air and spirit, and every message riding on it.

And here is the thing I most want you to hear: you have a team doing this for you, too. Not just me. You. There are ancestors and guides who have been trying to reach you—through your dreams, through the timing of things, through the person who said the exact sentence you needed on the day you needed it.

Most of us were never taught to notice. That is all. Not that we can’t hear. That nobody ever showed us what listening was supposed to feel like.

So I’ve made that easier. Alongside my 60-minute Ancestral Mediumship sessions, I’ve added a 30-minute session—not a lesser version, just a shorter door. I did it to make this easier: not only easier to work with me, but easier for you to actually hear from your own multidimensional spirit team. Because not everyone needs a full hour to receive what’s waiting. Sometimes you need one question answered. One voice confirmed. One thing you’ve been quietly sensing for years finally put into words by someone else so you can stop wondering whether you made it up.

Today is 8 Ajmak—and I could not have chosen a more fitting day for this transmission if I had tried.

Ajmak is the nawal of the ancestors. It is the day of forgiveness and pardon, of softening, of laying down the debts and the threads we have carried for too long.

And 8 is the energy of harmony and balance—two things that seemed to pull against each other resolving into one whole. That is exactly what this transmission is: a message held entirely by the ancestors, their voice underneath every word, teaching us how to hold two things at once—frequency and covenant, the making and the losing, the human with bills to pay and the spirit that money truly is. On the ancestors’ own day, they come into harmony.

And I write to you on the edge of something. This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday—August 28, 29, and 30—I open my home here in Santa Fe for the Your Soul is the Bridge Retreat. And then today, on 8 Ajmak, I leave you with the final transmission of the month.

This one found me in a stretched and tender moment, and I channeled it and received it at the same time—one of the most channeled, and most philosophical, transmissions I have ever recorded. It runs a little over 70 minutes.

In this transmission, I share what I have lived with money from every direction—growing up with almost nothing, making millions at one point, and losing all of it, and the people along with it.

I tell you why money is not currency at all but a spirit, an energy you can speak to and be in relationship with. I share the recorded words of a conversation I once had with the Soul about untangling the story that money makes people leave. And I tell the story at the heart of it all—the one I did not fully understand until I recorded it—about a contract the ancestors orchestrated on purpose, out of integrity, so that I would have what I needed to follow my Soul to New Mexico.

Underneath every word is the one truth they have never stopped telling me: you are always resourced. We walk toward it the whole way through, and by the end, I hope you can feel how frequency and covenant, the making and the losing, the human and the spirit, all live together.

As I send this, we are standing at the threshold of the trecena of Toj—the sacred fire, the offering laid down, the payment made and the blessing received. Wednesday, August 19th is 1 Toj in the Sacred Calendar.

Toj is the nawal of reciprocity. It is the day we tend the flame and the flame tends us. Nothing here is one-directional: what you give returns, what you offer opens a hand you did not know was waiting to give back to you.

Toj asks us to place something into the fire—gratitude, a debt long carried, a thing we are finally ready to release—and to trust that the giving itself is the doorway. This is not sacrifice for its own sake. It is the oldest exchange there is: the flame fed, and the flame feeding you in return.

And because this is 1 Toj, we are at the very inception of that fire—the first breath of the offering, the flame newly lit before anything has been asked of it. We are not settling old accounts today. We are lighting the fire clean. Laying down the first gift. Beginning the exchange at its source.

This is the fire the whole month has been building toward. All August we have been sitting with sacred business—with acceptance, and with the many facets of who you are, each one asking to be offered. And shortly, you’ll receive a transmission covering the 14 Sacred Instructions for Soul-Led Business.

Now, the conversation turns toward money itself—money not as currency or math, but as a spirit, another ancestor, something you give in order to receive. We have not discussed it yet, but Toj is already holding its shape. The fire of reciprocity and the energy of money are the same flame: you offer from your Soul, and the blessing finds its way back to your open hands. Offering made, blessing received.

The Altar for Toj

For this trecena, I did something I have never done before: I lit a fire inside the hearth of my fireplace itself—in the form of candles. In all the time I have been in this home, I have never set a fire inside the firebox, and I chose 1 Toj to do it, because this is the day of the sacred fire, and no other day asked for it the way this one did.

Seven white candles, gathered close on the floor of the hearth—close enough to read as a single flame, the one tended fire that Toj is. I lit them last night, at the threshold of the new cycle.

To the left, in a single white pitcher, the roses—orange feathering to red at their edges, their true and given color, opened wide until the whole bundle reads as flame come into flower. That red is the color of Toj, the color of fire, burning at the very edges of the petals. One vessel, one offering, laid beside the fire.

To the right, a dried bundle of sage and yarrow resting on an oyster shell, and a stick of Mayan copal—the smoke an offering of its own, rising and gone.

And the fire walks out along the ledge. Thirteen candles in all, one for each day of the trecena—seven gathered in the hearth, six stepping out across the mantel toward whoever comes to stand before it. They are lit, and watched.

Creating Your Own Altar for Toj

If you are building your own altar for this trecena, let reciprocity be your guide. Toj does not ask you to earn anything. It asks you to give and to receive in the same breath, and to trust the fire to carry the exchange.

If you are working with gratitude—if there is something or someone you owe thanks to—lay an offering down for it. A flower, a fruit, a handful of something beautiful. Not to repay, but to complete the circle. Gratitude is the first offering Toj knows.

If you are working with something you are ready to release—a debt, a burden, a story you have carried too long—give it to the flame. Write it down and burn it, or simply hold it as you light the candle. Toj is the day the fire takes what you are finally willing to hand over.

If you are working with receiving—and so many of us can give endlessly but cannot receive—light a single candle and let yourself sit before it with open hands. Do not offer anything. Just receive. For those who over-give, this is the harder half of Toj, and the more healing one.

If you are working with Toj’s color, bring red. A red cloth, a red candle, a flower burning at its edges. Let the color of fire live somewhere your eye can rest on it.

If you are sitting with the question at the center of this day—write it down. Not as a demand, but as a prayer: What am I ready to offer, and what am I willing to receive?

A candle. A flower opened wide. A pinch of copal or a bundle to burn. A shell to catch the ash. These are enough.

Let your altar be the fire you are willing to sit before and tend.

Let it remind you that nothing you give is lost—that the flame you tend tends you back, and that what you offer from your Soul is already finding its way home to your open hands.

And so it is—Maltiox, Maltiox, Maltiox.

Today is 7 Iq’—breath, wind, spirit, the carrier of every message. And 7 is the peak—the point in the cycle where we have the widest view and can see most clearly what is taking shape.

Last week, we sat with acceptance—the whole work of accepting what was planted in you. This week, we take the next step: What does it actually look like when you offer it? And I want to say plainly—it does not look like one thing. It looks like many. You are a diamond.

A Soul-led business, when you allow it to be, is a diamond with many facets. Each one feeds the others. Nothing is lost. Nothing is wasted. Nothing gets diluted. It all shines the diamond a little more.

As I write this, we are standing at the threshold of the trecena of Ajmak—the nawal of forgiveness, of grace, of the softening that becomes possible when we finally stop holding ourselves so tightly to account, when we gently ask for forgiveness.

Ajmak is the day of the ancestors and the pardoned. It is the nawal that asks us to look honestly at what we have been carrying—the weight of our own self-judgment, the stories we inherited about who we are allowed to be, the ways we have made ourselves smaller than we were made—and to lay it down. Not to explain it. Not to justify it. Simply to set it at the altar and receive the grace that has been waiting for us.

This is not about perfection. Ajmak never is. It is about being willing to be human—imperfect, tender, still becoming—and forgiving yourself for the whole of it.

And because this is 1 Ajmak, we are at the very first breath of this pardoning—its inception, its seed. We are not asked to complete the forgiveness today. We are not asked to have it all resolved. We are asked only to begin the softening. To say, for the first time or the hundredth time: I am willing to receive grace.

Yesterday, I asked whether you will accept the calling that was planted in you. August is the month we sit with that question—not as a demand, but as an invitation. And Ajmak is where the acceptance becomes possible, because you cannot fully claim what was given to you while you are still holding yourself in judgment for all the years you didn’t. Ajmak is where that loosens. In here, at the altar, in the quiet moment you allow yourself to say: I receive this. I receive myself.

I want to tell you something small that happened, before this altar was even lit.

I walked through the Santa Fe farmers market carrying these two enormous bunches of marigolds. A woman passed me, beaming, and said, “Beautiful flowers.” A man smiled sweetly at me with my bundles. And I thought—that is Ajmak. The sweetness doesn’t wait for the ceremony. It moves through you the moment you say yes to it.

The Altar for Ajmak

I built this altar at the threshold, as the trecena opened.

The base is the mantel of my fireplace—long raw stone, the color of the high desert. It needed nothing added. The land itself is the cloth.

At the center stand the marigolds. Two enormous bunches spilling gold and deep amber-orange from a frosted glass vase—more than I could hold in two hands. In the traditions of this lineage, marigolds are the flower of the beloved dead, placed to call the ancestors home. Here, they carry that meaning and one more: they are the color of Ajmak itself, the warmth of grace, of what opens when we finally stop bracing. I wanted them overflowing. Because that is the instruction for this trecena: take up as much space as you were made to fill.

The sound bowl rests near a living plant—a reminder that this altar breathes. Sunstone towers stand close, inviting softness. The archangel Uriel in a red arched frame holds fire in both hands. She is the one who can hold the light of her own becoming without flinching. The small Guadalupe in terracotta, arms open—the mother who pardons, the one who has never once asked you to earn your way back.

My parents in the oval gold frame—young, luminous, at a table together. I receive what they gave me and release what was never mine to carry. My mother’s rosary is draped across the pink amethyst crystal clusters, the silver cross catching the light. It found its place. That is how her love works. The woven basket with its pink spiral center holds what is being gathered: everything that becomes available when we say yes to ourselves.

In the white dish, held by a stone, are the names of everyone in The Altar—the whole community carried into this trecena, all of us given permission to receive grace.

And then the fire: twelve beeswax tea lights across the full length of the mantel, one flame handed to the next. The thirteenth—a tall pillar—sits alone in its white ceramic holder on the mantel above, elevated, watching over everything below. The bee belongs to Ajmak, and beeswax has been on this altar through every trecena. But here I want to name it: the sweetness of honey is this day’s deepest promise. These candles are not only light. They are the sweetness of this life, returned to us the moment we stop withholding ourselves from it.

Why the Sound Bowl—Listening in Both Directions

Most of us were taught to listen outward—for instruction, for approval, for the signal that we were doing it right. Many of us have been slowly learning to listen inward instead. But Ajmak asks for both at once.

When you strike a singing bowl, the resonance doesn’t travel in one direction—it expands into the room and into your body simultaneously. It reaches for everything. That is how the ancestors speak: not only inward, not only outward, but in the field between, where your Soul and their love meet.

Forgiveness works the same way. You soften, and the softening is received. You say I accept myself, and something on the other side says we have been waiting for you to believe that.

The bowl holds the vow. The grace returns as resonance.

Creating Your Own Altar for Ajmak

If you are building your own altar for this trecena, let grace be your guide. Ajmak does not ask you to have forgiven everything or accepted everything before you sit down. It asks only that you be willing. Willingness is the whole beginning.

If you are working with acceptance—if there is a calling, a gift, an aspect of yourself that you have been circling but not yet claimed—write it down and place it at the center of your altar. Not as a demand, not as a task, but as a permission. I am allowed to be this. I am allowed to want this. I accept what was planted in me. Lay it there and let Ajmak tend it for thirteen days.

If you are working on showing yourself more grace—if your inner voice has been harsher than you would ever be to someone you love—place something soft on your altar. A cloth that feels gentle under your hand. A flower you’ve opened all the way. Something that reminds you of tenderness, and let it be directed at you. You are worthy of the same softness you offer others.

If you are working with compassion—toward yourself, toward an ancestor, toward someone whose thread is tangled in yours—place a photograph, or write a name, and let the altar hold the relationship without you having to resolve it. Ajmak does not ask you to have the answer. It asks you to stop hardening against the question.

If you are seeking to allow more of the sweetness of this life—if you have been bracing, withholding, waiting until you’re more ready or more worthy or more certain—bring something golden to your altar. A gold cloth, a marigold, a bowl that catches the light, honey in a small dish. Let the color remind you that the sweetness is not a reward for getting it right. It is what opens when you stop keeping yourself from it.

If you are working with Ajmak’s color, bring yellow or gold—and let it be warm rather than bright, amber rather than sharp. A marigold opened wide. A beeswax candle glowing. A cloth that holds the color of late afternoon. That warmth is the feeling you are practicing: receiving the grace that was never actually withheld from you.

If you are sitting with the question of what you are ready to forgive yourself for—write it down. Not as a confession, but as a release. Lay it at the altar. You do not have to read it again. Let Ajmak receive it and begin, over these thirteen days, to soften what has been held.

A marigold. A candle. A slip of paper with your permission written on it. A bowl to hold what you are receiving. These are enough.

Let your altar be the place where you finally give yourself what you have always deserved to receive.

Let it remind you that the grace was never something you had to earn—it was only something you had to turn toward.

And so it is—Maltiox, Maltiox, Maltiox.

Today is 13 Tz’ikin—and 13 is the completion tone, the spirit day, the number that lands us squarely in the ancestor world.

Tz’ikin is the bird—vision, higher perspective, the messenger flying between the worlds. On 13 Tz’ikin, the bird flies between worlds, and what it sees is the whole arc.

It is the right day to open August, because this month we turn toward Sacred Business and the Energy of Money—though you will hear me say, more than once, that a truer name is Sacred Offerings. And in this first transmission, I say the truest thing I know about what has to happen before any of it: you have to accept it.

Recognizing your Soul’s calling—which is where July left us—is really different from accepting it. Acceptance is the whole work. It is enough on its own. It obligates you to nothing. And yet, once it lands, something does begin to move.

I tell you my story here. The night the ancestors sent me to my psychic. What she said. The lifetime they showed me where I resisted my gifts. And what it felt like in my body, this year, when the wall I had been smushed up against finally disappeared. As I write this, we are standing at the threshold of the trecena of Aq’ab’al—the nawal of dawn and dusk, of the door that swings open between the dark and the light.

Aq’ab’al is the hour before the thing becomes visible. It is not the light itself; it is the turning toward it, allowing it. It is the moment the night begins to give way and the shape of the day begins to emerge, still soft, still unnamed.

In Mayan cosmology, this is the nawal that blesses new beginnings—new work, new unions, new offerings—because everything that is going to be born must first pass through the dark. Aq’ab’al does not ask us to leave the darkness behind. It asks us to stand in it and face the direction the light is coming from.

And because this is 1 Aq’ab’al, we are at the very inception of that turning—the first grey at the edge of the window, the beginning before the beginning has a name.

We are not asked to see clearly today. We are not asked to know what is arriving. We are asked only to stand at the door, and to let it open at its own pace.

All month, we have been asking what your Soul’s work is—not the career, but the calling. What is being asked of me right now. What am I avoiding feeling or exploring.

Aq’ab’al is the nawal of the answer arriving before it is fully visible. If something has been dawning in you this month—a shape you can sense but cannot yet name, a direction you keep turning toward without knowing why—this trecena is not asking you to explain it. It is asking you to stop insisting on daylight before you will move.

And this is the door out of July. These thirteen days carry us into August, when the question turns from what is it to will you accept it. The dawn breaks here. We walk into the full light on the other side.

For some, honoring it means living it. For others, the call goes further—build something around it, offer it in form, let someone give you something in return. Both are real. Neither is more sacred. This month follows the second one.

From there we’ll sit with the diamond—the truth that you are not one thing. You are so many things, and every facet is an edge of you asking to be offered. Most advice asks you to pick a lane and amputate the rest. The Soul doesn’t.

And we’ll close where the fear actually lives. Money as a spirit you can speak to. Something you give in order to receive. It wants you as much as you want it. In fact, you will speak to the energy of money this month.

Hello sweet soul,

Today is 6 Tz’ikin—the bird, the eagle’s far vision, the messenger who flies between the worlds. Tz’ikin is the one who sees from above: not by burrowing down into the tangle of things, but by rising high enough that the whole landscape finally reveals itself.

And the 6 holds us steady while we fly—stable ground beneath the soaring, the heart of the sky and the heart of the earth meeting in us. We are held, even as we rise.

All month in The Altar, we have been learning to see the shape of our Soul’s work more clearly. Today the bird lifts us up to see it from above.

So before I tell you what’s happening this week, let me take you soaring.

A Meditation for the Bird’s-Eye View

However tangled things feel down here—however much the mind has been circling the same worn path—know that you are about to leave the ground for a little while.

Feel yourself lifting.

Not straining, not flapping—just caught by a warm current and carried upward, the way the bird lets the air do the work. The ground falls away beneath you. The path you’ve been walking, the one that felt like the only path, grows small.

And now you are high enough to see.

Look down at the whole landscape of your life. Not the fine print—you can’t read the fine print from here, and you don’t need to. You see the shape of it.

You see that the single path you thought you were bound to is one of many.

You see the other roads branching off, the ones the trees had hidden from you at ground level.

You see the wide green valleys you didn’t know were there.

You see where the rivers run, and how they meet.

You see that the landscape is far, far bigger than the small clearing you’ve been standing in.

You don’t have to choose a road from up here. You don’t have to know the specifics. You only have to see that they exist—that there is more than one way, that the terrain of your becoming is spacious and full of options you couldn’t have imagined from below.

This is what the bird knows: we go high in order to go deep. The clarity you’ve been searching for was never buried beneath you in the overthinking mind. It’s visible from above—sharp and shining, the way the bird spots the one true thing from a great height.

Take one more slow look at all of it. And then, gently, let the current carry you back down—bringing the wide view with you.

Rise, and the seeing sharpens.

I’m writing to you a day later than usual, because yesterday I wasn’t at my desk—I was living the thing I’m about to tell you about instead.

When was the last time you let a day be about nothing but what makes you feel alive? Not productive. Not meaningful in some big, provable way. Just alive. Yesterday, that’s the only assignment I was given, and it turned out to be harder—and more sacred—than anything with a ritual attached to it.

We are standing inside the trecena of Tz’i—the faithful guide, the dog who walks beside you and does not leave, the keeper of sacred law and the one who restores justice when something has fallen out of balance. Tz’i asks a particular kind of loyalty—not the performative kind, not loyalty as martyrdom or duty, but the loyalty that starts at home, in your own body, with your own Soul. Before Tz’i can teach you fidelity to anyone or anything else, it asks whether you have been faithful to yourself. Are you keeping your own word to you?

And because this is 1 Tz’i, we’re at the very inception of that loyalty—its first day, its first breath. Nothing here asks you to prove devotion through hardship or sacrifice. It asks something simpler, and honestly harder for most of us: Can you let devotion look like joy?

This lands right inside what your Soul’s work has been asking all month—the reminder that purpose isn’t only the big, provable, career-shaped thing. Sometimes it’s smaller and closer than that: what is mine to do right now, in this moment, with this one wild life.

Yesterday, on 1 Tz’i, I kept hearing one instruction, clear and insistent: go enjoy your life. Show yourself devotion by being out in the world, having fun, seeing your friends. Not later, once the altar is built and the ritual is proper. Now.

So that’s what I did. I sat for three hours at a coffee shop with a new friend, in a conversation so deep and so joyful that I could see the light in her and feel it radiating back at me—that particular loyalty of being truly seen and truly seeing someone else in return. I bought flowers that made me feel alive just looking at them, and the tallest candles I could find. I took a long, leisurely nap in the middle of the day, no apology attached. I finally watched the finale of a show I’ve loved across five seasons, and I cried and cried and cried. And then I went to a concert on a farm, sat in the front row next to someone I’d just met, and watched the New Mexico sky do its slow, spectacular thing while the music played.

None of it was complicated. All of it was loyal—to my own aliveness, to what actually makes me feel like myself. That is Tz’i’s whole teaching, offered to me in a single day.

Today is 11 Kej—the deer, the four directions, the one who carries strength not by pushing but by standing steady and serving from that steadiness.

Kej is sacred sovereignty: rooted in your own authority, balanced between the four pillars that hold the earth. And 11 is a high, wide tone, the energy stretched almost to its fullest reach.

It is a fitting day for what this transmission asks of you—to stretch the word purpose wide enough to hold both the vast version and the tiny one, and to find your steadiness in the very moment you are standing in.

Last week, we went to the tender place: your Soul’s work lives on the other side of your pain. This week I wanted to bring it close and make it ordinary, because I don’t want you believing your purpose is some enormous thing waiting at the end of a long road. It is already in you. It is already moving through you, in the smallest moments of the most ordinary days—you just may not have been including them.

I tell you where purpose actually lives inside the wound. I tell you the truth about timing—that the big, clear version of my calling came last, not first, after a hundred tiny ones lit the path.

I take you into my old life as a top salesperson who was chasing the wrong kind of purpose, into the DMV and the grass and the little sauna in Austin where the ancestors moved through me, and into the quieter work I would never put on a website.

And I am honest about where I still get caught, because it is human to still fall for the old story that says if it isn’t successful, it isn’t really purposeful. It is the perfect day to open July, because this month we go directly at your Soul’s work—not the job, the career, or the title, but the calling implanted deep within you, the thing you were given to offer the world.

Today is 3 Kawok in the Mayan Sacred Calendar—the energy of the sacred storm, the rain that clears everything, the thunder that announces what is being reborn. And 3 is the first movement, the spark of something new that begins within.

Kawok does not ask permission. It arrives and washes the path clean for what is coming. In the trecena of No’j, it feels like it’s clearing the way for our wisdom to rise.

Yesterday was my Mayan birthday—2 Tijax. And though Tijax is often felt as the obsidian blade, fierce and surgical, what I felt on my birthday was tenderness. A quiet readiness. A sense of being refreshed and returned to myself.

I am not here to force or to hustle or to do more. I am here to be more—and to trust that everything I have put into place is exactly where it belongs.

That message feels universal. I invite you to trust what you have put into place as well.

This month, Mercury retrograde asked us to slow down and look inward. Jupiter in Leo has been expanding our sense of what we are here to offer—our gifts, our courage, our willingness to be seen.

And the full moon in Capricorn has been illuminating what we have actually built—the quiet, real, steady structures of our lives and our devotion. The sky has been full this month. So have we.

On 13 Ajmak we are asked to lay down what we have been carrying, to let the ones who walk beside us help us set it down, and to close one cycle clean so the next can open.

I cannot imagine a more fitting day to give you this.

Because what I am placing in your hands today is a guided meditation for Tijax—and Tijax, like Ajmak, is an energy of release. And, the next Tijax day is this Monday, June 29—it is 2 Tijax.

Today is 10 Aj in the Mayan Sacred Calendar—the reed, the staff, the spiritual backbone, the one who stands at the center of the home so others can find their way. And 10 is the energy of manifestation, of something fully arriving into form.

Aj is also the day of belonging—of family, of the hearth, of the space we make sacred and call home.

I cannot imagine a more fitting day for this transmission, because today’s teaching is, at its very root, about belonging.

This is the third and final transmission of June—the close of our month inside Receptivity: The Key to Worthiness and Receiving.

In the first, I told you that you were never unworthy—the wound is not unworthiness, it is a closed field. In the second, I showed you how the field opens. And I promised that this time, I would tell you what actually arrives when the field is open.

This is that transmission. What arrives. And the truth I have come to about worthiness—that it was never the thing to earn. It was the ground underneath the whole time.

I tell you about the friend who crossed a room to find me, who turned out to be a Sacred Bridge like me, who dreamed of my parents and carried their message back.

I tell you about a house in Oregon, given to me again and again with no money exchanged, and what it taught my body about being worth receiving.

And I share what I have come to understand beneath all of it—that every physical thing we long for, the home, the abundance, the support, is really one thing wearing many shapes. Belonging. The deepest of which is letting yourself belong, more fully, to yourself.

Today is 8 B’atz in the Mayan Sacred Calendar—the first day of the new ceremonial cycle. A holy day. A ceremony day. A day for celebration.

I am sending you so many B’atz Blessings.

B’atz is the monkey, the weaver, the artisan of creation—the patient hands at the loom. And 8 is the energy of harmony and wholeness, the moment something has come into balance and is ready to be offered.

I know it is the right day to share this with you. I am coming more into balance just by this declaration and offering.

I have been holding some friction lately. I will tell you the truth.

Things have been breaking in my home and needing repair. The repairs are happening, which is its own kind of gift—and also its own kind of disruption.

I have been moved out of my rhythms, my habits, my routines. I have been sleeping in a different bedroom than the one I usually sleep in, one I had never slept in before. And while I am lucky that all of this work can be done, and I still have a place to rest my head, it is discombobulating. It surges anxiety in the body. And the anxiety around the house has been trickling into the quiet, persistent questions that surface when you have been following the call for a long time—

Am I resourced?

Am I supported?

Will what I am building hold me?

I follow the call. I have followed the call consistently for years. Sometimes it provides an exchange—energetic, financial, the kind of arrival you can hold in your hands. And sometimes it is a lesson learned. I do not always know which one it will be when I take the step. I just take the step.

I am sharing this because I want you to know that even those of us who teach about following the Soul—we feel the friction too. The cultivation of receptivity does not erase the moments when the mind asks: But will I be okay?

It is part of the practice. It is part of being human.

So I went to sleep one night recently with that exact question on my heart. I had spoken to the ancestors about it before bed. I was in this other bedroom, this foreign room. I was anxious. And in the middle of the night, I had a dream.

In the dream, I had guided people into a room high up in a building. They had followed me there. They wanted to be around me. And when we walked in, there was a man with a needle, and he asked: Who was the first person in this room? Who was the first to come here?

Everyone who had come with me took a step back. I had to be in integrity. I said: It was me.

And he said: Okay. Because you were the first, I am going to inject you with this fluid. You are going to die. We are going to kill you. It is time for you to leave.

I want to pause here, because the timing of this dream matters. I am currently studying trauma—incorporating somatic exercise and movement into my practice. And one of the things I am learning is that trauma forms when, in a moment of heightened intensity, we cannot complete the natural sequencing of events. Animals shake it off, run it out, finish the cycle. We don’t. Our minds insert the story and stop us. Often, we freeze.

So here I was, in the dream, being told I was going to be killed for being the one who went first. An old version of me might have frozen. Might have paused, might have let it happen, might have let the mind insert its story about why this was happening to me and what it meant about me.

But that is not what I did. I thought: There is no way this is going to happen. And I ran.

I found another room down the hallway. There was a window in it. A small opening. I lifted the window, and I threw out the screen. I was maybe twelve, fifteen, twenty floors up—I do not know exactly. High. And I decided: Fuck this, I am getting out of here. And I leapt. Head first. Upper body first. Out the window.

I did not crash.

There was a lower building below me—six, seven, eight floors down. I fell gently onto its roof. I was held. I was supported. I rolled a little, sat up, looked off the edge of that lower building. Another five or six floors to the ground. And I leapt again—calmer this time, less urgent, because I had survived the first fall. I landed on the ground. And I walked away.

When I woke up, I remembered the dream in that kind of detail. I got out of bed. I walked out of the foreign bedroom, through the hallway, into the main room where I host my retreats and circles.

And… I could feel them.

A gathering of ancestors. A gathering of people from my lineage. There in the astral, in the room. And the feeling in there was not serious, not solemn. It was jovial. Playful. Like they were having a good time.

I was surprised. I had just woken up from a rather dramatic dream. But they were not concerned. They were conferring about me—about my questions, about the anxieties at the surface of me—and they were laughing a little. Smiling. And what I heard, the words I caught from them, were these:

Just wait to see how good it gets.

They were not laughing at me. They were not mocking me. They were making a concerted effort to come together, to talk about how they were helping me, to coordinate on my behalf.

And underneath all of it was this knowing that they had—this confident, almost playful knowing—that what is coming for me is so good. That the friction I am in right now is the doorway. That the leap I keep taking, even when I do not know if I will be caught, is the right thing. That I am resourced. I am supported. I have a team on the other side of every wall, no matter what bedroom I am sleeping in, and they are smiling about how good it gets when it gets good.

And when I really listened, I could feel that even now—even in the friction—it is already good. It is always good. Even when it is tough, it is always good.

I am sharing this story today, on 8 B’atz, because I have leapt. And because I have been caught. And because what I am opening next is for the ones who are at the window.
