Abdul Suicide Bombs On Fox News

Normally I’d say “shot himself in the foot,” but suicide bomb is more fitting given Abdul El-Sayed’s support for the terrorist groups he aligns with.

Any who, last night was an all time disaster for Baby Abdul as he went on Fox News and again showed his true colors giving more insight as to how radical he is.

Always a victim and its never his fault, which brings me to his social media post regarding his buddy Hasan Piker’s rant about a Gay Jewish Democrat here in Michigan named Jeremy Moss.

Piker is a Twitch streamer/spoiled rich kid who has previously stated that America deserved 9/11 and abused his dog on a live broadcast. This time around, Piker went nuclear and said “American Jews who support Israel are inviting violence” while showing a picture of Moss. He continued, “eventually someone will come around and take action not against Israel, but against American Jews.”

Instead of distancing himself completely, like a normal human, Abdul issued the following:

Michigan’s Future Runner Up for Governor, John James, attempted to be an real black guy this weekend as he tries to attract black voters that will vote for KKK supporter Jocelyn Benson no matter what.

James took the stage at The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre formerly known as Chene Park on Friday night.

In a now deleted post, James went out before the show to pump up the crowd (LOL) and did his best to act like one of the brothas to persuade people to vote for him.

Ah yes, just what a venue full of people want to hear as they wait for a guy named 42 Dugg to perform. He even wore Air Force Ones (that he for sure bought that morning), hip jeans and a black shirt, which proves he has so much in common with the attendees! Honestly, I’m shocked he didn’t start with “What’s up my *****’s” and tried to talk in slang while wearing Buffs.

Unfortunately his whiteness was too overpowering and he could not help himself by bringing up that he went to West Point and letting everyone know both parties have failed.

You know who definitely won’t fix anyones problems? John fuckin’ James, thats for sure. The most boring candidate to ever run for anything will do whatever he’s told, just like every other grease ball politician.

The Gordie Howe Bridge finally opened this week after months of delays, thanks to politicians acting like high school theatre kids who haven’t mentally matured past 11th grade. Democrats who don’t want Border Patrol but love illegal immigrants and crime, cried and sulked every time President Trump delayed the opening and the new bridge Canada paid for sat unused.

However nobody complained harder than Canadians themselves, who claimed that the United States needed the bridge more than they do (LOL).

I made a comment about keeping the bridge closed for the next year, as punishment for their shitty forest management that caused a week of smoke and smog here in Michigan. It would be funniest if it never opened at all I added, and stupid Canucks lost their minds:

Canada is a third world country these days full of immigrants from Bangladesh and Pakistan and one of their top exports to Michigan is TRASH. Yes, actual garbage filling up our landfills. But according to those idiots, we need them… Sure thing.

Tigers Superfan Josh “Teebs” Tebeau Is The Worst

Superfans are sad people. Their entire lives revolve around a specific sports team and they make every game about themselves. The Detroit Tigers Superfan is named Josh Tebeau, and goes by “Teebs”. And Teebs is as creepy and obnoxious as it gets.

Teebs ego has grown to historic levels after the Tigers brought him on the field after their impossible playoff appearance in 2024. His season tickets are behind the Tigers dugout and he stumbles back and forth in his row with signs for each player and trying to pump up the crowd.

These days he wears T-shirts draped over one another and nobody will get near him. He generally attends games by himself and holds up security lines like a foreigner at the airport. I actually had the misfortune of being behind him 2 weeks ago and it took him six attempts to get through the metal detector because he has so much shit.

To add, this guy is he is a teacher at Romeo Community Schools and is around children all day. Gross.

Little Lyin’ Abdul Has Three Rental Properties Outside Of The U.S.

Abdul El-Sayed is one of the worst people I’ve come across in a long time. The little fella hates women, Jews, and everyone who disagrees with him.

His short fuse was on full display this week after his financial disclosures (which he called a “nothing burger”) were released and it was revealed that him and his wife own rental properties in India and Dubai:

The Democratic Socialist running on free Medicare for all while his wife’s Mind Work Psychiatry office is CASH ONLY, has once again shown he’s completely full of shit when it comes to his own real estate. People under his belief system argue that housing should be treated as a basic need rather than primarily as an investment.

But nope, Not Lil’ Abdul. Instead, he went full victim once again and said you’re a racist if you call out his foreign investments:

On top of his real estate ventures abroad, his home here in Michigan sits in an affluent neighborhood in Barton Hills and according to Zillow is worth just under $900k.

This guy is soooooo toxic.

Sadly his competition is Haley Stevens and she can’t get out of her own way, either.

The fun part is that democratic voters have backed themselves into two corners. On one side, you have Stevens whose critics argue is too closely aligned with pro-Israel donors despite the “humanitarian crisis” in Gaza. On the other, you have Little Abdul who supports Hezbollah and organizations actively trying to destroy America from within. What a great system!

Either way, I'm not excited to see whoever wins this race spend every waking moment playing victim and crying about Trump while doing nothing to help the people of Michigan.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s… actually another Amazon drone buzzing over Southeast Michigan. Don’t like it? Too bad. They’re not going anywhere and apparently there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

For those unfamiliar, communities surrounding the Hazel Park and Pontiac Amazon warehouses make up about 20% of the locations in the country that can get drone deliveries. The radius is 7.5 miles and Amazon has an entire section of its website where people can go and select products to be dropped off via drone.

Things like band-aids, AirPods and even a bottle of soap can all fit inside the drone and fly to your home in roughly an hour for an additional fee.

They glide through the sky between 115 and 400 feet and once they get to your home, descend to 13 feet and drop the package somewhere near your front porch, and hopefully not on your car.

It seems harmless and convenient for people are busy working from home or have small kids and can’t escape to pick up an item from the store. But for those of us living underneath their daily travels, it’s a nightmare.

I live in Northeast Ferndale (FOR 7 MORE DAYS THANK GOD), about two miles from the Hazel Park Amazon facility. The drones start early in the morning and are much louder than you can imagine. I can hear them from inside my home, as can my dogs, who bark nonstop until the buzzing is out of their earshot.

In a neighborhood where my neighbors have “Tax the Rich” lawn signs (ironically sold by Amazon), the drones have caused quite the uproar. Residents are already clamoring for City Council to ban gas leaf blowers due to noise like they’ve done in Ann Arbor, so the constant buzzing from drones pushes all kinds of buttons.

After countless complaints, the city finally made a statement this week and said their hands are tied, thanks to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The FAA regulates Amazon drones just like they do airplanes. They have specific guidelines that need to be followed in order to operate, and as long as they travel under those conditions, they’re good to go. Basically, just like a body of water cannot be owned by a landowner, cities do not own the air. The FAA does.

And just like an airplane, if you mess with an Amazon drone, you can be charged federally.

If you have a problem with that, you’re instructed to reach out to Amazon directly but to nobody’s surprise, they aren’t listening. I emailed and wouldn’t you know it, it’s unmonitored!

No longer do you need to live near an airport to experience constant overhead distractions.

It’s only a matter of time until Flock and Amazon team up and are forever monitoring our every move “for our safety”.

Last Friday, storms swept through most of Michigan, once again knocking out power for hundreds of thousands. As all of you know, I hate DTE more than anyone, so the last thing I ever want to do is stick up for them as they jack up our rates every chance they get.

Is our grid horrific? Yes. Does losing power suck? Of course. But lets be honest here: When a tree falls onto a power line, that’s not DTE’s fault.

Now, where I do see a problem with DTE is when they insult those who lost power for extended periods and offered a FORTY TWO dollar credit to their next bill. The company profits billions of dollars per year, so maybe wiping out peoples monthly bill entirely would at least be helpful as they throw away hundreds of dollars in food.

WTF are Endorsements?

For the life of me, I cannot figure out political endorsements. Bernie Sanders endorsed another socialist in Michigan? Wow no way! This changes everything! A senior citizen who has never spent a single second in a Detroit neighborhood surely knows what we need here!

No person on the planet is changing their vote because Pipe Fitter Chapter 495603 endorses a candidate. Even when a chapter gives their endorsement, the members of that union can still vote for whoever they want. All it means is that group can start writing checks towards the endorsees campaign, so I guess that’s something.

It just cracks me up that a group of carpenters sees this woman:

and says, “Yup, that’s our gal! She definitely knows what we need!” GTFO.

To add to that, the floundering Detroit Free Press endorsed Mallory McMorrow for the Senators race, and she dropped out a few days later. Endorsements are pointless.

Debate Week: Haley vs Abdul & The Republican Governors Debate

This week was an all time disaster as the people looking to run Michigan embarrass themselves once again trying to debate each other.

First up was Haley vs Little Abdul.

Haley’s voice is so insufferable that I want to give major props to anyone who could sit through this. Meanwhile you have Little Lyin’ Abdul who had a rough week after it was discovered that he lied about where he as born/grew up, and the $700 million of debt he didn’t erase, amongst other things. Now we find out, Little Abdul is a millionaire!

This dude is a snake of epic proportions and his only flex on Haley is that she takes money from Israel. Cool dude! At least she likes being here.

Next came the Republican Primary Debates for Governor and I truly can’t believe these are the parties best candidates to try and beat Jocelyn Benson.

It has been found that John James took over $100k from AI data center companies, and when Old-Balls Perry Johnson brought it up, he flipped the script and became a race victim.

Ah yes, perfect. Just what we need. Meanwhile Perry is running on a 1-year moratorium against data centers. Hey Grandpa, how about a moratorium during your entire tenure if/when you’re (not) elected? Why do we have to fight these battles every year?

Last but not least, two more members of the Whitmer kidnapping crew are about to have their convictions overturned, proving once and for all the entire thing was made up for political sympathy. This has become all too common for Michigan democrats as Garlin Gilchrist and Elissa Slotkin faked bomb threats, Mai Xiong lied about the threat to her family over a Facebook message and now Pete Buttigeg had a CPS story go viral that nobody believes. Stay tuned as I am working on debunking that one too.

On June 17th, Dana Nessel and friends were victorious over the Trump administration, as the court dismissed a Presidential Memorandum that put an indefinite stop of federal permitting for new wind energy projects.

The pause began back in January of 2025, and since then, no new windmill projects have broken ground in Michigan. The memorandum did not affect rights under existing leases, however those leases were subject to review. This was enough for companies such as Apex Clean Energy to step back from perusing new large scale projects in Michigan, and they abandoned a 50,000 acre wind project set to be hoisted in West Michigan.

Yes you read that correctly. FIFTY. THOUSAND. ACRES. Just under eighty square miles where the windmills would physically stand, not including the peaceful communities surrounding them, that have to deal with flashing red lights in the night sky.

No longer can they enjoy the solitude of darkness, but they have to shutter their windows at dawn to escape the constant blinking entering their homes like a scene from a horror movie.

With data centers coming, windmills offer yet another excuse to power them while trying to keep up with the Green Energy Scam signed into law by Governor Whitmer in 2023. With the public acts she signed us up for, energy companies are able to take land from local governments no matter how much local pushback their might be.

But of course, it’s all about the money, not the people.

“The Trump administration’s attempt to halt federal approvals for wind energy projects would have derailed billions of dollars in infrastructure and workplace investments,” said Attorney General Nessel.

Here’s where things get really fun: The permits for large wind (and solar) projects all go through our friends at the Michigan Public Service Commission! Yes the local dictatorship that approves the raises to our DTE and Consumers bills every chance they get while preaching “affordability”

Sitting on that commission is of course Katherine Peretick, who worked for Vestas Wind Systems from 2011-2013.

I have a funny feeling that Vestas, or one of their competitors, will pick up right where Apex left off, and go after the West Michigan leases that were abandoned while using PA 233 to secure even more land to erect as many windmills as possible.

Why wouldn’t they? Apex already did the dirty work and surely Katherine isn’t going to stop them. Windmills surely don’t affect her cozy setup in an upscale Plymouth neighborhood.

• Did you know they don’t work when it’s too windy? Yes, they actually have to shut down when winds exceed 55 MPH using a brake system. So they literally use energy to not run in order to prevent damages

  

• According to basic calculations, it would take almost 120,000 acres or almost 200 square miles for windmills to power the Saline Data Center. Data center load: 1,383 MW, At 85 acres/MW: 117,555 acres, 117,555 acres ÷ 640 = 183.7 square miles.

• Utility customers and taxpayers indirectly pay for a portion of the construction of windmills via rate hikes.

Whitmer Spent 1.8 Billion Tax Dollars To Create 602 Jobs

That is not a typo. Eight projects promised to create 20,595 jobs but only 602 were produced and it cost us close to $2 billion dollars. Almost a 97% failure rate. Deals that were supposed to boost the economy that have instead vanished into thin air. Meanwhile, Whitmer just got back from another “economic mission trip” overseas (her third this year and sixth since 2025) to try and bring investments to Michigan. None have been successful thus far but I’m sure she’s having a great time on our dime.

Benson Wants To Bring High-Speed Rail to Michigan

Nothing says “Motor City” like a high speed train system to nowhere. Michiganders are already being taxed to death so why not add a project similar to what Californian’s have been forced to pay for with no results! For reference, in 2008 California voters approved a high-speed rail project that promised to be working by 2020 with an estimated cost around $33 billion. As it stands today the project is non-operational and cost estimates have jumped to roughly $126 billion, with no firm timeline of when it might be functional.

ICE Abandons Romulus Detention Center

In pure form, Democrats would rather have an empty building and illegal criminals on the street than securing them in a controlled facility.

This week, the City of Flint passed a one-year moratorium on data centers after residents spoke out against potential developments. Michiganders have seen its slow downfall as automakers began downsizing in the early 1990’s and into the 2000’s.

Detroit’s history is similar with sites like the Packard Plant. Demolition is almost completed after decades of abuse, but for some reason the thought of putting in a data center there hasn’t been mentioned.

I get it. Nobody wants data centers. But these are industrial wastelands that already have the basic necessities to operate them. Infrastructure and water.

But for some reason, instead of targeting these sites, developers eye farmland and forests and push into rural areas no matter how much members of the community don’t want them. And guess what? More are coming.

On June 1^st, Governor Whitmer was caught on a hot mic allegedly telling an Oracle CEO “We’re used to people saying fuck no, and doing it anyway” at the data center groundbreaking ceremony in Saline, where her and Jocelyn Benson’s husband Ryan Fiedrichs went against the public and did what they wanted anyway.

The site is in the middle of the state on a formerly beautiful piece of farmland that now will need to be equipped with all the necessary infrastructure from scratch and nowhere near a major water source.

Now, ITC Michigan, the largest independent transmission company in the state, is telling local farmers and landowners who say “fuck no”, that they are doing it anyway, and will be installing new power lines on their land. And how ITC is doing this is extremely troubling

Having zero respect for property lines or running farms, unlike in previous installments, ITC is bullying residents into either selling them pieces of their property or they will take it by using eminent domain.

I spoke with Rick Thelen of Fowler, MI, whose family farm of almost 90 years is being threatened by the 345 kV AC transmission lines planned along the Nelson Road-Oneida route, which is one of the three projects suited to take place. Fowler is a town of roughly 1200 residents just West of I-127 about a half hour north of Lansing.

Rick, along with other family members nearby, have received multiple low-ball offers for the pieces of his land needed for the new lines, which they have rightfully refused. The line crosses diagonally through Rick’s property which drastically affects planting and aerial spraying, as the lines require an easement of 100ft on each side.

Not only is the space being taken, but the noise of power lines running drastically changes the quiet lifestyle communities like Fowler have enjoyed for centuries. Also, the negative health effects brought on by living too close to them.

On top of all that, these power lines will then make that land of more of an interest for data center, solar and wind developers, according to Kevin Krause, who works for the Michigan Public Service Commission dictatorship. Oh and guess what else? The ratepayers will foot the bill for the new lines over years of rate increases! DTE, Consumers Energy and the MPSC’s favorite thing to do, even before these lines go up.

So not only will Rick and his family be stuck with annoying powerlines and higher bills, sooner than later the area will be targeted by corporations to power the grid with the green energy scam or a home to another data center development.

Why big business target peaceful pieces of land and areas where people want to be away from the hustle and bustle is something I cannot figure out. Wouldn’t it be easier to move water from the Detroit or Flint River to an already industrialized area nearby make more sense? They ran plenty of electricity to those old plants years ago. Why can’t they start doing that again instead of building new ones?

Unfortunately, with the people in power, those are questions that will never get answered.

They don’t give a fuck and will do what they want anyway.

Two weeks ago, Michigan’s elite political figures met on Mackinac Island for the annual Mackinac Policy Conference. It was a who’s who featuring all our favorite personalities, who traveled in from near and far to mingle with one another on the island during the work week.

While sipping champagne and eating calamari, important things like “How tall is that guy” and “how much money has Haley Stevens taken from AIPAC” were topics of conversation while the rest of us slaved away at our 8 to 5 jobs, wishing we could take a few days off work and live it up at the Grand Hotel.

Front runner for Governor and current Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson of course at the event and is no stranger to controversy these days.

In the past few months she’s been caught up in multiple scandals, like supporting the KKK during her time at SLPC, having illegals on voter rolls, and multiple discrimination lawsuits, to name a few. Each time, she and her team gracefully blow off the severity and quickly point the finger somewhere else. Politics 101.

Preaching affordability while spending our tax dollars in luxury isn’t a new thing for politicians, but this visit to Mackinac showed just how pretentious the people who run our state have become.

X user BobDinMI caught wind of an accessory Benson was carrying around, made a thread about it and just like that, Handbag-Gate was born.

People rightfully were upset as it was discovered that the handbag Benson was carrying was allegedly worth over $35,000! For reference, the median salary for an entire year in the state she’s running for Governor in is just over $48,000.

We know Benson and her husband Ryan Friedrichs have plenty of cash lying around after his $70 million commission check from the Saline Data Center, but it was still shocking to see her flaunt something so expensive.

That's when Benson’s salaried team members jumped into PR mode and disclosed that no, it was not a Hermès Kelly II Sellier Mini Rouge Sellier Chevre Leather Gold Hardware bag, but a $60 knockoff purchased at a small business on Mackinac Island.

So I followed up for comment and asked which store it was purchased from, neither Nikki Goldschein nor Alyssa Bradley responded. Do they not support small businesses? For someone as prestigious as Jocelyn Benson I’m sure the handbag’s would fly off the shelf had if they gave the store a shout out

Michigan Democratic Party spokesperson Rodericka Applewhaite got in the mix too, and posted that it’s “obviously not a Mini Kelly” while immediately pointing out her own investigation of a Rolex watch worn by a republican wore in 2022. Politics 101.

Members of Team Benson would obviously never give up their gal, so I got on the phone and called every gift shop on the island with a working phone number, and checked every gift shop’s online store for a similar bag.

Nada.

One store had “a couple” small handbags but they didn’t match the description or the $60 price point. I checked the Grand Hotel’s gift shop (not a small business by any means) and they didn’t have anything either. Heck, I even called a florist to see if they maybe sold knockoff merchandise out the back door. They hung up on me.

Even on the world wide web, I Googled “off brand Mini Kelly II bag” and the cheapest I could find was on sale for $84. How could a small business sell such an item and resell it plus markup for $60? The fact is, they didn’t.

With that Handbag-gate comes to a close and I’m sure we’ll never see the bag again.

Parades and events temporarily shut down cities as the self proclaimed marginalized group dresses provocatively and lets loose in broad daylight for everyone to see. From full on nudity to people wearing diapers and BDSM garb, nothing is off limits. If you push back, you’re labeled a homophobe or a bigot or whatever the newest trendy word liberals have in the playbook to insult people who disagree with them. It’s exhausting.

This past week, the City of Madison Heights got the full treatment when City Council voted 4-3 to pull Drag Queen Story time from the city’s Pride Festival to be held on June 7th.

For those unfamiliar, Drag Queen Story Time is where a cross dressing individual reads children’s books to kids while wearing full drag. It’s become extremely popular in liberal circles, where for some reason parents think it is important to subject their kids to a grown man wearing a dress and makeup while reading a book.

Well, when news got out that it was being cancelled, the left wing nut jobs completely lost it.

Mind you, they didn’t cancel the Pride festival itself or drag queen events in general, but simply one event that involves children. And the Facebook commenters were enraged:

“So the story time can happen still just not with funds of the city? Is there a list of what will be paid for by the city at other events? I’m against country music and want to make sure my tax dollars aren’t being wasted on country music at that new pavilion at the park”

“Would love to know who voted which way do I know how to vote when they are up for re-election. So very disappointed in our city more and more every day”

Others threatened to boycott Madison Heights businesses all together and there was even a discussion about egging buildings in the area.

As the cancelation went viral and was covered by local and national media, Madison Heights Mayor Corey Haines released a statement which only fueled the mob even more. He apologized for voting against the story time, which was to be held in a public park, and continued on about how members of city council were being threatened and harassed. Full statement below:

What a fun group! Nothing says inclusivity like threatening public officials when you disagree with their decision.

But guess what? IT WORKED.

On Friday June 5th a special meeting was held and wouldn’t ya know it, Drag Queen Story Time was voted back into the event with a 6-0 unanimous vote. A compromise was made, however, that the event would be held indoors rather than outdoors. Yay!

And look how it was spun by the usual suspects. Jeremy Moss, a candidate for Congress in MI-11 and proponent for boys sharing bathrooms and showers with girls, had this to say:

Pushing for visibility and acceptance? More like threatening and demanding. But sure Jeremy.

Then the other end of the political spectrum tee’d off on the officials, calling them spineless and cowards for caving to the woke mob. A lose-lose situation.

It really shows the power of the internet and how evil people can be when they don’t get their way. Members of the community voiced the didn’t want the story hour but as soon as outsiders got word, they felt the need to bully and make threats.

Cancel culture is still in full effect and wont be going anywhere as long as people get their way.

Inclusivity is a one way street these days.

When I first moved to Ferndale in 2011, one thing that caught my eye was the amount of parks and recreation available for use in every pocket of the city. Right down the street from my house sat Harding Park, a lovely 17.5 acre piece of property that can be seen from the service drive off 696.

Harding has a playground, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a covered area where people can go to host outdoor gatherings and a paved circular walkway for people to exercise. It has a drinking fountain that is operational in the summer months and public restrooms as well. Really everything you could ask for in the middle of a community jam packed with homes on tiny lots where people can gather peacefully.

It also has an outdoor in-line skating rink. The very last of it’s kind in the city, in fact. And it needs help. Quickly. Or it will go extinct just like playing outside in general seems to be going away forever.

Upon becoming a Ferndale resident a decade and a half ago, I was blown away when I first saw the in-line rink that sits in the southwest corner of Harding Park.

Growing up in Farmington Hills, this would have been an absolute dream. Boards and benches! Doors! A real surface! We played our street puck literally in the street and had to move the nets every time a car came through just like they did in Wayne’s World. Game on!!!

As we got older, we played in church parking lots and schools. I even had a friend who would scope out freshly paved parking lots of commercial buildings to see if the lights stayed on so we could play night games. We’d drag nets and equipment in the back of friends cars and set up makeshift borders based on trees in the distance.

Chasing balls that flew over the net and losing others in storm drains was an every day occurrence. If you were the reason a ball was lost in a drain or the woods (let alone multiple), you’d be scorned and ridiculed like Ham Porter hitting a homerun into the yard of The Beast in the movie The Sandlot.

But the kids in Ferndale didn’t have this problem. Nets permanently sat peacefully in the rinks that once resided at Wilson, Martin Road and Geary Parks, in addition to Harding. No ball chasing and no imaginary boundaries.

Unfortunately, over the years outdoor activities have changed and hockey just isn’t as popular as it used to be. The community understandably added basketball courts, a skate park, and now tennis courts have been transformed into pickleball.

It simply became harder and harder to justify the upkeep of all four rinks and over time, three of them were decommissioned. Parts became more difficult to find/order so they would take whatever was still usable from the old rinks to keep the Harding Park rink operational.

Now, the 63 year old rink can no longer be Frankensteined together using old pieces from the past. It needs a complete renovation and a fundraiser has been launched to try and save it. And it’s not going good

With three weeks into a 60-day fundraising campaign, the project has generated $2206 TOTAL, well short of the $62,500 goal needed from the public to fund the renovation. To put that into perspective, when James Van Der Beek passed away in February, his wife raised over $2.8 million on GoFundMe so the family can pay their bills in his absence.

I get it, Dawson’s Creek was a great show but I find it pretty sad people are willing to donate their hard earned money to a Hollywood star they never knew, yet trying to save a piece of Ferndale history cant gain any traction.

Metro Detroiters proudly claim the “Hockeytown” nickname, so let’s prove it by coming together to preserve that last remaining outdoor rink Ferndale has to offer.

Over the last few days you may have heard about the event taking place on Mackinac Island where Michigan’s politicians go to live their best lives, also known as The Mackinac Policy Conference.

For those not familiar, this meeting is where Michigan’s most vile creatures travel to the Island to sip wine and eat luxurious meals while taking photographs of themselves pretending to give a shit about the state they allegedly represent, all on the taxpayers dime.

Obviously taking place during the workweek so these criminals can enjoy their weekend, Mackinac is the furthest North most of them will be seen until the next election cycle when they are forced to cross the bridge to suck the life out of Yoopers for votes.

Democrats who spend all year lecturing everyone about gas prices and global warming suddenly have no problem driving or flying hundreds of miles to stay at the Grand Hotel for $1,000 a night, all while patting themselves on the back for the policies that have made life more expensive for everyday Michiganders.

Republicans meanwhile are no better, as they intermingle with the filth they claim to hate as long as the fudge is fresh and the booze is on ice. Oh and Mike Duggan is there too for some reason, whatever the hell he is.

Side note: hey Iran, if you’re looking to drop a bomb, can you do it on Mackinac Island June 1st to June 4th next year?

I’m partially kidding of course, mainly because I care about the damage that could be done to our Great Lakes more than every single person there.

The conference is sponsored by all the in-state monopolies that rip us off like DTE, Consumers and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Then we have the corporations everyone claims to hate, tossing cash at the circle jerk like Meta, Google and Oracle so they can pay off every state official possible to make way for their data centers. Yay!

On top of it all, somehow the people that control our everyday lives continue to lose touch with reality quicker than I ever thought possible. This conference is a prime example.

To start we have pretend doctor and socialist Abdul El-Sayed, who is running against Haley “like the comet” Stevens and carpetbagger Mallory McMorrow for the democratic nominee for Senator. Abdul was full of jokes as the little fella met the Republican nominee for the same seat, Mike Rogers:

Others, however, choose a very different path: Raving

Since 2000, Memorial Weekend in Downtown Detroit has also become synonymous with techno music. What began as the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, commonly known as DEMF, transformed Hart Plaza into a destination for electronic music fans. Over the years, the festival evolved until ultimately becoming the modern day Movement Electronic Music Festival, while still honoring Detroit’s role as the birthplace of techno.

For those not familiar, techno originated out of Belleville of all places by Juan Atkins, Derrick May, and Kevin Saunderson, known together as The Belleville Three. The group met in High School and in 1981 they began playing their new sound in local clubs and Chicago. It spread like wildfire, particularly in the U.K. and has spawned into many genres alongside house music and trance.

I first attended DEMF in 2005 when it was a free festival. Yes, free! Hip-hop artist Mos Def closed out the event on a muggy Monday Night and Detroit was jam packed with people like I had never seen before. This was during the time when the city was literally crumbling, as Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was running his criminal enterprise and Detroit was a national punch line. Going downtown to hang out was not even an option back then.

But the folks gathered in Hart Plaza came from all over the world and were happy, nice, and filled with energy. Later I would learn that energy mostly came from methamphetamines but that’s neither here nor there. No fights, no politics, just positive vibes. I was hooked.

Over the next two decades, I rarely missed a day of the festival. The techno scene itself exploded and friends who once made fun of my weekend activities stopped going Up North or came home early in order to check out the event.

Then they were hooked. It was contagious and every year a new friend wanted to experience a day of the festival. It was truly a “judgement free zone” where we would all gather in the mosh pit to dance and act like complete idiots. The incredible light shows, smoke cannons, lasers, and visuals only added to the sensory overload.

After parties never stopped (shout out TV Lounge and Bert’s Warehouse) where we’d playfully punish our bodies and brains until the sun came up. At some venues, the party started when the sun came up. One friend appropriately coined the term “adult daycare” and that’s exactly what it was.

Fast forward to today, and festivals in general have gone completely mainstream. What started as a free event in Detroit eventually put up paywalls and evolved into a fully corporate machine, with general admission now pushing well over $200 a day and artists like Snoop Dogg attempting to DJ so they capitalize on the hype.

But the $20 beers, $10 bottled waters, and overpriced carnival food are all forgotten the second the bass drops. Thousands still flood into the city every Memorial Weekend chasing the same feeling: the euphoria that comes from standing shoulder to shoulder with strangers while dirty basslines, hypnotic synths, and pounding electronic beats echo through downtown until the early morning hours.

Even if you’re not a huge fan of the music itself, the people watching is ELITE. You’ll see every kind of human imaginable ranging from obese women wearing see-through fishnets to shirtless finance bros who discovered techno six months ago. Cyber goths, Juggalo’s, aging ravers, suburban couples on molly, influencers filming every second for TikTok, and dudes who look like they haven’t showered in weeks all coexist in one giant sweaty ecosystem.

Oh and people bring their kids and babies… I’m not joking. Apparently its never too early to introduce your toddler to adult nudity and strobe lights.

So shoutout to everyone this weekend either heading downtown, going Up North, hitting the lake, camping, grilling in the backyard, or wherever brings you happiness. Crack a cold one, stay hydrated, and try to disconnect from the chaos of the real world for a few days.

Buying a vehicle because you can remove the doors and roof, despite having nowhere to store them once they’re off, has always been a flex I never understood. The windshield looks like it’s half the size of a normal SUV and because it sits almost perfectly vertical, it turns into a magnet for rock chips and cracks. Limited visibility, constant road noise, and a windshield that’s one gravel truck away from another spider crack… I don’t get the appeal.

The old school/military/durable experience of the Wrangler has long worn, too. The Jeep brand has been chewed up and spit out by big business and just like every other new car on the road, fixing or modifying yourself is virtually impossible without having a mechanic shop at your disposal.

Yet somehow, they’re everywhere. And now the Wrangler cult has found a new way to “customize” their vehicles beyond the traditional personalized spare tire cover hanging off the tailgate:

Rubber ducks.

The fad is called “Jeep ducking” or “Duck Duck Jeep” (kill me) and it irks me in a way I didn’t think was possible.

This nightmare began in Canada (of course it did) during the COVID-19 pandemic (of course it did) when a lady purchased rubber ducks to hide at a friend's house as a way to thank that friend for letting her visit.

I’m already angry.

Legend/Wikipedia has it, later that day she had an unpleasant interaction in a parking lot with another driver and felt inspired to leave one of the ducks on a Jeep in the parking lot with a note stating "nice Jeep" as an act of kindness. The owner of that Jeep saw the lady place the duck and suggested that she make a social media post.

Typical Canadians… Only they could turn road rage into an “act of kindness”. In America there’s a good chance you’d be assaulted for touching someone’s car.

Well of course the post went viral and it ducking spread like wildfire. Facebook groups spawned from the depths of hell and they grew into the millions by 2023.

But like every other trend in today’s world, the whole thing eventually stopped being a harmless inside joke and turned into a full-blown personality trait.

Clearly these losers are buying bath toys for themselves with no intentions of committing any acts of kindness, and it drives me insane. Your windshield is already a sliver but you feel the need to clog it up further with stupid ducks? Go Duck Duck Fuck yourself!

To this day, I’ve never seen a note or a duck on someone’s Jeep, yet front windshields are littered with obnoxious variations of toys to the point where it looks like the clearance isle of a dollar store exploded across the dashboard.

And of course, now its a full blown industry. There are YouTube videos about ducking, there are Etsy stores to buy customs ducks and even Jeep’s official website has a full page dedicated to the madness. They’re ducking everywhere.

Since trends don’t die, this will likely live on forever in Wrangler lore.

I, however, am praying this fad goes the way of Beanie Babies did in early 2000’s and goes away sooner than later.

Michigan’s jet-setting International Queen of Travel, Governor Whitmer, once again pissed off tax payers by showing up in Italy this February after conveniently scheduling a “Trade Mission” the same week of the Olympics. This came on the heels of her hitting Devos, Switzerland not even a month earlier for the World Economic Forum. That was an “investment mission” which was “aimed at strengthening global partnerships to attract new investments and make Michigan a destination for growth in advanced manufacturing, defense, and high-tech industries”

Hell yeah Gretch, definitely no investors left in United States! We all wanted and needed you to travel halfway across the globe (allegedly spending $61k for the Switzerland trip; Germany/Italy trip spend is still TBD) to bring all the business that left during your run as Governor.

Obviously traveling private, it seems like Governor Whitmer doesn’t give a flying fuck about her carbon footprint, or the Green Energy Initiative she’s trying to ruin our state with when she got Public Acts 229, 231, 233, 234, and 235 signed into legislation in 2023. Together the PA’s say that Michigan must be 100% Green Energy Efficient by 2040, and will use solar, wind and whatever else they come up with in order to fit this agenda.

As a reminder, PA 233 strips power away from local municipalities in order to use land for solar farms in windmills, which don’t even power local residents homes. All the companies coming to Michigan sell that generated power elsewhere (for now), while we’re stuck paying DTE more money to foot the cost for the AI Data Centers that will soon take over our state.

Just in case you didn’t know, the Whitmer appointed Michigan Public Service Commission voted last month to raise our electricity bills another 4.93% starting next week and are now holding us hostage with more rate increases or forcing us to allow their data centers to come online.

So while the Governor is nowhere to be found stateside as she spends our money overseas like she hit the KENO jackpot, our farms, forests and communities have been stripped of local power and will be filled with solar and windfarms. And there’s nothing we can do about it.

So I decided to dig into something.

Does the property that Whitmer and her Dr. Dufus husband own have solar panels? Windmills? What about the Governor Mansion in Lansing or the summer cottage on Mackinac Island? Surely they’ve cut down some trees on their land in order to help the green energy cause, right?

Wrong.

I began on Google and sure enough, the 10,300 sq ft home where the Governors Mansion resides in Lansing actually has rooftop solar panels! But wait… they were installed in 2009 during the Granholm administration and only produce 3.2 kW of power. According to an electrician friend (Shout out Nic Drexler), with this home being a historic home in Lansing, 3.2kW is not nearly enough to power the home entirely.

One thing I forgot to mention is that Whitmer said back in 2021 that all Michigan-owned facilities must be 100% renewable energy by 2025. Uhhhh isn’t this a Michigan-owned facility? It’s 2026! She also claimed that these “partnerships” would be with our trusty and loyal friends Consumers Energy, DTE and The Lansing Board of Water and Light. Then can someone tell me how out of state companies like Ranger Power and APEX Energy got in the mix?

Anyways, back to the Governors Mansion which also sits on a lovely 4 acre parcel covered with trees and green grass. With PA 233, they have no problem ripping up useable farm land and forests for solar and wind, so why hasn’t the Governor made any steps to placing solar panels in her backyard? According to calculations, she’d only need about 80 panels plus a massive battery backup to power the entire home by solar, if it’s a sunny year of course. Lansing, not known for being too sunny, would likely require up to 100 panels to power the home year-round to fit the initiative.

Even nearby Frances Park would be a wonderful location for panels, as it appears to be mostly worn out and unused soccer fields. But no, just positive reviews of people who love going there to enjoy nature. Must be nice.

Back to Google I went and scoped out the Governor’s Summer Residence on Mackinac Island. Another historic home coming in around 7100 sq ft that was built in 1902, being 3 hours north of Lansing and in the most northern point of Lake Huron, this home would require around 100 panels in order to be green energy efficient + the massive battery backup.

Any panels on the roof in Mackinac? Nada. Anything on the property? Of course not! You can’t ruin that wonderful view! But surely she has no problem destroying the property value of my Aunts third generation farm in Vevay Township thanks to a 900 acre solar field going in sooner than later.

How about the Governors Mansion Museum in Marshall? Nope, nada.

This is when I busted out my hunting app and checked in on everyone’s favorite prankster, Dr. Marc Mallory.

For those unaware, Dr. Mallory was the guy who “jokingly” used his wife’s governor status to try and get to the front of the line during COVID so he could get his boat in the water during Memorial Weekend in 2021. This was a time when Whitmer had shut down Michigan and wouldn’t even allow citizens to travel up north, yet Dr Mallory magically made it up to their cottage off Birch Lake with no issues.

Well wouldn’t you know it? No solar on the roof of that home and surely no solar panels on the property. Wow I can’t believe it!

The last piece of land owned by Michigan’s First Gentleman (lol) and Governor Whitmer is located in Kent County, and is an undeveloped 3-acre piece of land lush with trees and a water source.

This property is surrounded by new home builds, but the property owned by Whitmer and her husband remains untouched. In fact when looking for large, mass-scale solar projects nearby, there isn’t anything planned in the near vicinity.

The closest project I was able to locate is 35 miles North East in Palo, MI. Meanwhile just north of this property sits Cascade Peace Park, a 200 acre park that I guarantee will never see a solar panel or windmill due to its proximity of the property owned by Whitmer.

Instead they’ll keep trying to use our state land like when they tried to take the 420 acres of land in Otsego County. Nowhere near anything Dr. Dumbass and Gretch owns so out of site and out of mind AKA their property values and pristine views aren’t ruined forever.

Last year while playing for the Houston Astros, the left handed pitcher purposely crossed up his own catcher, Cesar Salazar, after Salazar tried to call off a pitch that ultimately resulted in a home run. In frustration to start the next at bat Valdez threw a different pitch than Salazar was expecting, resulting in a crazy sequence that is never seen at the professional level. Here is a video of the incident:

You can see the “WTF” look in Salazar’s face along with the complete lack of remorse in Valdez’s. Beaming your own catcher for a mistake you made is a crazy move and Salazar was justifiably pissed.

Valdez was in the last year of his contract and headed to free agency after last season. He remained one of the last big names to sign with a new team until the the Tigers decided to take a chance.

They shockingly signed the 32 year old to the largest average annual value contract ever for a left handed pitcher by handing him a 3-year, $115 million dollar contract, which is more than what back-to-back Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal is being paid for this season.

Now, with Skubal out long-term and possibly the rest of the season, plus multiple other members of the pitching staff battling injuries, The Tigers more than ever need Valdez to do what he was paid to do and be a dominating force on the mound.

But in a surprise to nobody, he went full man child during his start on Tuesday Night vs the Boston Red Sox and gave the Tigers a taste of his true colors.

Framber was shelled early and often as the last place Red Sox had their way with him. It was 3-0 after the first inning and 8-2 after the 3rd and he clearly didnt have his best stuff. But with the team having limited options to replace him, Valdez was left out there to eat up some innings so they could save guys arms for the next game.

Valdez had other plans however.

After allowing back-to-back homeruns that made it 10-2, the Tigers pitcher plunked Red Sox hitter Trevor Story which caused the benches to clear and Valdez was rightfully ejected. During the scrum, Valdez was nowhere to be found and allowed every teammate possible to get in between himself and the appropriately pissed of Story.

Here’s another angle focusing on Valdez who once again showed zero remorse:

After the game, Valdez said “It was not on purpose. It might’ve looked like that but it wasn’t. I was trying to throw a strike after two consecutive home runs, and the pitch just came out of my hand”

Sure bud.

Tigers manager AJ Hinch seemed to disagree as did everyone with eyeballs:

“We play a really good brand of baseball here, that didn’t feel like it,” Hinch said. “It didn’t feel good being out there, so I understand their frustrations, I understand the moment and it was a low moment of a frustrating night.”

It’s pretty obvious that if the Tigers season tanks, they wont be able to rely on the guy they signed to a record contract to boost clubhouse morale. Having your teammates literally fight your battles while deflecting lousy behavior is as toxic as it gets.

We all knew this guy is a scumbag and now we’re stuck with him. If the Tigers don’t stay relevant, I guarantee he winds up on the injured list with an excuse so he doesn’t have to pitch in meaningless games.

Thank god we have Kevin McGonigle or this season would already be straight misery.

On April 23rd, DTE Energy announced that they would “forego asking for rate increases for at least two years following its upcoming filing with the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC)” as long as the data centers they support are allowed to come online.

You read that correctly. Either we pay now (and later) for increased electric bills, unless the data centers they are in bed with are allowed to take over our state. Either way, we don’t have a choice since the decision lies solely on Whitmer appointed dictatorship at the MPSC. For the record, the MPSC has never once sided with the public they’re supposed to represent when it comes to rate hikes.

The new filing is for $474.3 million and would be DTE’s fifth rate hike in the last seven years.

The press release is another spit in our face, as DTE’s CEO Joi Harris preaches affordability, just like the MPSC preached affordability after raising our Consumers Energy and DTE bills earlier this year. I’m not the smartest person around but doesn’t affordability mean something is a reasonable price and within one’s financial means? Joi Harris by the way, allegedly took home around $8.5 million in total compensation in 2025, up 58.91% from the year previous.

The press release goes on to say that the two data centers which DTE has contracts with will contribute $9 billion to improving the electric grid by 2045.

But wait a minute: Isn’t Michigan supposed to be entirely green energy efficient by 2040? And what about global warming? Just two days before DTE put a gun to our head, The Michigan Dept. of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) held a conference saying that human activity is the main cause of global warming and how serious the issue is. If it’s so serious, you would think they would be against data centers and their extraordinary usage of water that is eventually released into the atmosphere. Just more proof that the green energy agenda is a complete scam.

Michiganders are faced with all-time highs for water, heat and electricity. Dams are failing, roads are crumbling and our infrastructure is some of the poorest in the country, while car insurance cost soars. And our reward? Either we take on data centers or pay the cronies at DTE whatever they want.

It’s a hostage situation we’ll never find our way out of.

DTE is the captain, now.

A decade later, Republicans in the State of Michigan have put forth their own Giant Douche and Turd Sandwich, as John James and Perry Johnson lead the polls to compete with the vote stealing KKK supporter Jocelyn Benson for our next governor. Sorry, Mike Duggan.

With Tom Leonard dropping out last week and Aric Nesbitt/Mike Cox being unable to gain traction, James and Johnson will try to one up each other with false promises and lies in order to gain boomers votes before the primaries in August.

Well, that’s if Perry Johnson did his paperwork correctly this time or doesn’t have a stroke by then.

In case you don’t remember, Old Man Johnson ran back in 2022 but was disqualified after investigators found fraudulent signatures in the 15k ballots that are required to make the primary. He then attempted a 2024 run for President of the United States, which lasted about seven months, but again had issues with pollsters and ended up not qualifying. What a great candidate!

Perry has the cadence of mattress salesman and looks like a perfect mashup of Donald Trump and Joe Biden. He made hundreds of millions building an ISO certification empire, and now he’s slithering across the state in a personalized bus, empty coffee cup in hand, trying to pass himself off as just another Michigander.

LOL! NO DEMOCRATS IN THE ROOM! GET IT?

Seriously though, how is this corpse a top option? Somebody get this Turd Sandwich back to the nursing home before he wets his diaper.

Next up is the most boring human to ever exist: John James.

James is the former Apache helicopter pilot who currently serves as a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Michigan's 10th district. Before winning his seat in 2022, James was 0-2 in his run for Senator, mainly due to people not being able to stay awake when he talks.

James leads Michigan Congress Members in missed roll call votes and hasn’t popped in to a single GOP debate since declaring for Governor, so attendance isn’t really his thing. He did go to the GOP Convention however, where he was met with some boo’s after strangely siding with Democrats over his “Kill Switch” vote, where AI technology can shut off your car.

Now, he’s flip-flopped and is actually sponsoring legislation to repeal the mandate, claiming he doesn’t support the mandate and never did.

Already lying to appease voters and not showing up for things? Sounds like a politician to me! If James had a single ounce of charisma and people didn’t want to smash their head into a wall when he spoke, this Giant Douche would be a stone cold lock to win the primary.

Unfortunately it doesn’t really matter. People like myself are fed up with all aspects of the political climate and will never vote again (unless it’s voting down a milage.)

Meanwhile, the “Blue no Matter who” Crew will show up as always, to check the boxes of their fellow cult members regardless of how many discrimination lawsuits they have against them or towns their husbands ruin with data centers.

Soon enough, Michigan will be the Data Center capital of the country overran with solar farms and windmills while our energy rates surge.

I was called a racist for saying the rats made their way to Ferndale from Detroit (they did), I was kicked out of the Rat Patrol group and every other local community Facebook group that don’t even mention rats, and was told my article had MAGA undertones. Whatever the hell that means.

On the other hand, after calling out city council member and rat group admin Laura Mikulski over the city’s lack of meaningful solutions, she has responded in a notably constructive and positive manner.

After my article was published, she held a meeting at a local coffee shop with a game plan and is teaming up with members of the community to help neighbors minimize the rat population:

This is a solid response to my bad press and even though I am not invited to join, I appreciate the effort.

Speaking of press, Laura got Channel 7 on the phone and did an entire news segment on the issue while Woodward Talk wrote an article as well. Can’t even lie, I’m impressed by her positive response and hopefully some of my gross neighbors start taking a more proactive approach to managing the infestation.

Meanwhile, all hell has broken loose within Ferndale’s LGBTQ community over an alleged incident at a local gay bar called SOHO:

A lot to unpack here, especially since I thought “cis” meant not gay, but I can’t keep track anymore.

For those who can’t sit through the TikTok rant, allegedly a white bartender said she couldn’t accept a trans African American’s ID due to it not being valid after a blacklight inspection. Right on cue the trans person proceeded to go into full victim mode and dropped some hilarious quotes you hear all too frequently these days:

“By this point she had [an] attitude,” the woman said of the bartender. “I could hear it in her voice and also the way she was talking to me and her body language.”

Even though the bartender was making her feel “extremely anxious” and that she was “literally shaking,” the woman decided to wait at the bar for the manager to arrive later that evening.

“I explained to her, ‘You think that white people can’t be racist? You think that gay people can’t be transphobic?’”

I actually found this post on Reddit a couple days ago and thought nothing of it, not realizing the trans person was going victim mode on every platform possible. The comments do not disappoint here either:

So if you do your job properly by checking for fake ID’s or look at someone wrong or don’t do everything possible to make sure customers feel like they’re in a safe space, you will be subject to boycotts, losing your job and a possible civil rights lawsuit. What a fun and accepting community!

This entire non-story is a perfect example of what Ferndale has become. A city that was once fun and positive is now overrun with sensitive babies who try to be the victim any chance they can. If the LGBTQ community abandons SOHO, it would be a major blow to an already deteriorating downtown area that is littered with abandoned buildings.

Water Wars is the long-standing and student-led tradition where seniors organize as teams to soak one another with water devices to eliminate their opponents. If you’re hit with water, you’re out. It’s that simple.

Eliminations cannot happen on school property or at school sanctioned events, so neighborhoods and public spaces see an increase of kids playing around while trying to get each other wet with with a squirt gun or water balloon.

These days parents clamor for young people to get off their devices. The lack of kids you see actually playing outside has dwindled to almost nonexistent. You hear people talking about the relationships with their children being different before and after getting a cell phone, kind of like people before and after fighting in war.

“They’re just not the same”

“They’ve become disengaged”

But for some reason, Water Wars hits a nerve I never expected and parents and communities are freaking out.

“It is too risky running up to kids in the dark as they are walking to their car!! What if someone gets killed”, one Facebook mom said.

Another one followed up: “This is why we had field day. We didn’t need to cause problems in our community. Just do it on the football field after school at that should be it!”.

Clearly these people have never felt the rush of eliminating someone after hiding in their parents trash can for three hours as they wait for them to get home from soccer practice. It’s exhilarating. It’s strategic. It’s fun.

So I got quite a laugh that school districts and police departments across Michigan are sending out local APB’s warning the public that kids might actually be outside playing. In a world full of Karens and people who can’t mind their own business, these notices make Water Wars sound like a bank robbery. Just look at this novel from the City of Northville

Amy Wilcox, the Superintendent of Hazel Park Schools posted this statement on Monday:

To an officer or a member of the public, a water gun (especially one painted or modified) can look like a real firearm in a high-stress, split-second situation. And chasing someone through a park or hiding behind bushes in a residential neighborhood can be reported as a “suspicious person” or “active threat.” This triggers an emergency police response that puts students and the community at risk.

God forbid kids run around in a park and hide in a bush.

Obviously breaking into homes and modifying squirt guns to look like actual pistols is a bad idea, but kids do dumb things sometimes and this is a friendly reminder that there can be consequences for stupid behavior.

Macomb County Police Scanner posted a much more lighthearted message, informing the public that the kids are enjoying their last moments of high school and might be a little dramatic as they ambush someone at a gas station with a Super Soaker:

Moral of the story: Don’t be an uptight loser that wastes the time of police officers if you see a kid running through your neighborhood with a squirt gun. Let them have their fun and get out the way!

In 1969, a “Peace Activist” named John McConnel went to a UNESCO conference held in San Francisco with the idea of making a holiday to honor earth. John seemingly had good intentions, and his proclamation was signed by U Thant (Burma) at the United Nations. From there, US Senator Gaylord Nelson (Wisconsin D, duh) hired some guy (not the Unicorn Killer, but he was involved) and together they created what would become Earth Day, first held on April 22nd, 1970.

Since then and trillions of dollars later, its been Global Warming, carbon footprints, windmills, Solar Panels, EV’s.

Special Lightbulbs, water saving shower heads, energy efficient washer and dryers.

As an almost 40 year old, I have been told my entire life to reduce, reuse and recycle. Meanwhile last Friday morning I watched my local recycling company dump my trash bin into their truck, followed by the garbage truck dumping my recycling in their trash compactor 30 minutes later.

Apparently they are not aware of the Paris Agreement.

On November 28th 2023, our lovely Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed SB 271 into law, which states that by 2040 Michigan must transition to 100% “Clean energy” with 50% renewable energy by 2030.

And how do we get there? Windmills and Solar fields!

Because obviously it makes sense to cut down trees and decimate farmland in order to make Michigan more “Green”

Which brings us to PA 233, another Whitmer brainchild that strips local power from communities in order to put a solar field or windmills in your backyard to benefit this initiative. Fast forward a couple years and wouldn’t you know it, none of the companies who are building these eyesores are based in Michigan, nor do they promise cheaper bills. They promote tax breaks to schools which we all know is a joke as Michigan is at the very bottom of the list when it comes to education.

So we’re building ways to make clean energy which isn’t distributed in our state and decreases surrounding property value since nobody wants to live near wind/solar. And our favorite in-state monopoly, DTE Energy, keeps on doing their thing and each summer I lose about $500 of groceries thanks to a random power outage because of the 4th “storm of the century” that month.

They also just added an 11% price increase.

Don’t get me started on Consumers Energy.

So if you’re still one of those people who thinks that thinks all this is worth it for the long run, how does a 1.4 gigawatt AI facility help with our statewide Green Energy Initiative? Oh and guess who suddenly has all kinds of power to run this thing? You guessed it, DTE Energy!

The 1.4 gigawatt facility they are proposing consumes roughly as much power as a city the size of Dallas per day. And since we have to keep these bad boys cool, water is needed as well. Apparently it can take up to 26 million gallons of water PER DAY to maintain whatever temperature these things are required to be at and most of that water evaporates and is non recoverable. That’s 9.5 billion gallons of water per year for people to make Trump/Jeffrey Epstein AI Videos.

Of course when politicians are involved there’s always reason for parody. Rather than putting these data centers in a virtually abandoned area near the water, like Zug Island or the entire Eastside of Detroit, they choose Saline, MI. Even Flint would make more sense if they already have dirty water we can burn.

Literally anywhere else in our state would be a better option to pull water from but they chose the driest location possible. How much piping/drilling/work needs to be done to route the water here? Who’s paying for it? Where is the water going to come from? Why SALINE?

Well, because of our Pennsylvania born, vote stealing, Secretary of State’s husband is from right up the road in Ann Arbor.

Joselyn Benson, born and raised in Pittsburgh, married Ryan Friedrichs, son of a wealthy Ann Arbor entrepreneur and businessman who just so happened to have started his own solar company around 2008 called Homeland Solar. This is important for later.

Ryan went to the JFK School of Government at Harvard and worked for the City of Detroit from 2015-2020 (conveniently also bought a home in Detroit in 2015, eight months after starting which has now gone up quite a bit in value) and is now vice president of Related Companies, the parent company of Related Digital, which is building the data center with Oracle in Saline.

Related’s website has a section for affordable housing, residential and all the normal bullshit you’d expect on one of these websites and then in the middle, a section for data centers.

I clicked and scrolled down to find under their “Strategic Advantage” portion a fun little section that links back to Ryan’s dad, Dave, being a solar pioneer.

Ahh wouldn’t ya know it. They just so happen to do solar and wind. According to my investigating, it would take about 1000 offshore windmills to power a facility this size, or up to 40 square MILES of solar fields (roughly 17 million panels). I’m sure Homeland Solar wont be involved in the bidding once they start stealing generational farmland to fit this bullshit narrative. No way, Jose.

So a recap - were forced to pay extra for items that allegedly harm our environment less. Local property values are decimated by out-of-state power companies adding unnatural eyesores that collect energy to be sold elsewhere. Then our local power company and only option raises rates since they aren’t getting any of the power from the windmills and solar fields, only to find out they can support something that needs as much power as over a million homes. Then we’re going to re-direct 9.5 billion gallons of water yearly to keep a data center located in the middle of our state under a certain temperature.

It’s never been more obvious how much of a scam all this is. If you cant make solar work in the California desert, why would it work in Otsego County?

Unfortunately we don’t have a choice thanks to our state legislature and PA 233. No matter how much fuss a community puts up, our state officials will do everything they can to wet the beaks of their friends and line their pockets for personal gain.

Once those DTE checks/bribes are cashed, its game over. And they’re all cashing those checks. Every single time.
