The US administration has sparked significant concerns for many, including myself. As a well-educated Canadian and world traveler, I've gained a broadened perspective on the importance of tolerance and understanding. The rise of the far right in the US is particularly worrisome, and I'm not alone in my concerns. Many Americans share my fears and are actively working to promote tolerance, understanding, and inclusivity.

My visit to Dachau in 1974 and conversation with a groundskeeper left an indelible mark on me, serving as a poignant reminder of the dangers of extremism. The lessons I learned that day underscore the importance of promoting inclusivity and combating hate speech. It's heartening to see many Americans committed to these values, working towards creating a more just and equitable society.

American do not fail to realize that your current President is starting out the way Hitler did in the 30’s and if you study your history it doesn’t end well! The sheer lack of understanding that is afoot is simply staggering! Don’t get fooled again!

A Blessed Daughter

My Dad is like a real Renaissance man! 😊 Cooking for my Mom every day, killing it with photography, and whipping up gourmet dishes like it's nobody's business. His flambé? World class, and always made Christmas Breakfasts EPIC, followed by a well-deserved nap. I've clearly inherited his creative genes, carrying on with photography and cooking! Exposure to different cultures in Europe definitely shaped my foodie side. My Dad's also got some serious literary chops, with six Art books about the Painter Diego Voci - they're beautiful and a great study of this artist, who I have amazing memories of meeting and watching paint! I adore my Dad and all the beautiful parts of life that his wisdom, creativity, and love of travel have influenced in my life! I'm such a blessed daughter to have a family that allowed me to continue to grow and never stop learning! And that's the best gift!
