Forgetting and remembering to remember… This was written 13 years ago when I finally just picked a place on a map, got on a random bus to somewhere and looked out. I had just left my life behind in California and started wandering without a plan.

Millions of stars are looking down from the heavens as we wind through the cliffs of the Andes.

I look around and it breaks my heart.
It kills me that no one else sees this in this moment. Everyone else is asleep or looking at their phones.

But generally speaking, I’m grieving that we’ve blotted out the twinkling with our own shoddy lights that can’t and will never compare. That I’ve never in my life seen the stars like this in North America where the lights are bright.

Here there is deep inky black during the new moon.

Now, I’m staring at the Milky Way, looking at clusters of stars that once inspired humanity with illumination, direction and profound magic.

A shooting star cuts across the sky, reminding me how brief things are. What are the chances?

As we hit the curves of the road and my stomach teetered on the edge of turning,
I started to wish:
Shit—I wish we were just there in Ayacucho already.

And yet... the stars.
The cool wind with the distinct scent of earth.
The sound of rushing water, thousands of feet below,
reminds me that it is truly the joy of the journey
that is the reason we are alive.

I’m transfixed by the glittering heavens smiling down, telling me:
Slow down and enjoy the damn trip.

And here I was—wracked with worry about not sleeping on a night bus because of the rough terrain and curving roads through the mountains.
or the fact that I’m really farty from eating too much Peruvian street food,
or that there’s no bathroom on the locals bus.

Yet, I hear.

You’ll be fine.
You’ll figure it out.
Take in the ride.

I turned on Rufus Wainwright’s cover of Across the Universe (The Beatles).
I swear, every time I look up, there are more stars. How? How can it be this vast?

My senses have been recharged here. In nature. In stillness. In darkness. With time to think and be.
I feel more.
See more.
Taste and smell more.

It’s like I’ve been muted for the past 12 years—
through the education system telling me how to think,
and Los Angeles force-feeding a million messages simultaneously.
Binging on TV, sugar, alcohol, and shopping—
trying to feel what I do now, simply by living.

No thing could ever replace the enormity
of what I’m experiencing now.

Well, that went somewhere I wasn’t expecting. At all.

I came on for a Full Moon Eclipse Live thinking we’d talk a little about the collective, pull some cards, answer personal questions and see what came through. Instead, it became a winding story about my life, where I’ve been, what this last year and a half has asked of me, and some of the bigger patterns I see moving through all of us.

I shared a little about why I haven’t been writing as much here lately. The truth is, I have been writing—just mostly behind the scenes. I’ve spent the last year transcribing decades of journals and writings, printing them out, putting them into binders, scribbling in the margins and trying to make sense of millions of words that have followed me since I was eight years old. After years of avoiding the books, I’m finally just beginning to see them take shape.

That opened into the rather absurd span of my life—from corporate Los Angeles to monasteries and mountains, ancient teachers and jungle villages, raising three boys off-grid, losing nearly everything and beginning again. And then into what this past year and a half has actually looked like: single motherhood, homeschooling, financial uncertainty, broken things, endless dishes and laundry, paperwork, trying to support three little humans through enormous change, and somehow finding enough quiet inside all of that to listen, heal and write.

One of the biggest lessons has been surrendering the belief that I have to do everything myself. I have always been a figure it out, work harder, keep going person. This season has repeatedly shown me that sometimes the work is actually to stop, open up, receive, rest and let people help. Somehow, again and again, we’ve been caught. It’s been a journey of trust, burnout and doubt and then finally allowing miracles to pour in.

From there we wandered into the collective.

I pulled a collective reading We talked about the Beauty Way and the middle path—not chasing some perfect path outside ourselves, but learning to trust what is actually ours. What’s true? What’s mine? What’s conditioning? What’s fear? What have I inherited from family, culture, school, religion, media or society without ever stopping to ask whether I actually believe it? How do we become effortless flow and become our own path.

We talked about the wild woman too—not as an attack on men or masculinity, but as part of a larger rebalancing. Women taking up space. Bodies being bodies. People leaving relationships and systems where they have continually poured themselves out while hoping that if they just give a little more, somehow the imbalance will correct itself. Eventually something says: enough. And perhaps some of what we’re witnessing collectively is exactly that kind of rebalancing.

We talked about how to connect to our guides and guidance system and I share about my families sensitivies and ways of seeing the world.

Then we went on to talk about consumerism, the Earth, politics, distraction, technology and how easy it is to look at enormous systems and feel completely powerless. Mainly the interconnection between collective choices and the cause effect relationship that created where we are.

But one of the strongest messages toward the end of the Live was incredibly simple:

Be the peace. Be the change.

Our collective power isn’t somewhere far away in governments, corporations or institutions.

It is in our attention. Our money. Our hours. Our skills. Our creativity. Our homes. What we teach our children. What we buy. What we refuse to buy. Whether we spend an evening scrolling or making something, planting something, helping someone, resting, loving, creating or actually being present with the people around us. Ultimately what we believe within ourselves and do about it.

None of this requires becoming perfect or trying to fix the entire planet by Tuesday. My own life changed through tiny choices based on realizations and values made over many years. The question is simply: Where is my energy going? What am I feeding? What actually matters to me?

And then—be that. Embodied, living in integrity with what you want to see knowing how interconnected it is.

Because maybe changing the collective doesn’t begin with figuring out how to control or blame everyone else. Maybe it begins with becoming as whole, peaceful, awake and alive as we can inside our own little corner of it. Then letting that ripple outward. The revolution begins within.

Somewhere in the middle of all of this, I also realized why the theme of belonging keeps appearing in my work. I’ve spent much of my life between worlds—cultures, countries, socioeconomic realities, corporate rooms and jungle farms, science and mysticism, motherhood and wandering. Being outside of things has often been uncomfortable, but it has also given me a strange vantage point from which to watch patterns instead of automatically joining them.

Maybe that’s part of what I’m finally learning to do with all these stories. Share them.

Anyway. It was weird and winding and vulnerable and funny and very much a Live.

We began with writing as an anchor during times of transition. For me, putting pen to paper helps take all the layered, misty, nonlinear thoughts in my head and bring them into something I can actually see. Writing slows things down. It gives the silt time to settle so I can look again and ask: What is actually here?

Writing has been with me since being 8 years old—Always in little journals I kept to myself until I found substack.

We talked about how writing is also a form of witnessing. Sometimes I don’t understand what I’m moving through until I read it back months or years later. Sometimes other people see themes in our work that we couldn’t yet see ourselves. Writing becomes this strange mirror between who we were, who we are becoming, and how other people receive our stories.

That brought us into the vulnerability of being seen. We want to be witnessed, but being truly seen can also be terrifying. Part of the work is learning to become our own witness—to look at the fearful, messy, shadowy parts without immediately deciding they are wrong.

We also talked about the body and how fear, vulnerability, creativity, and emotion don’t just happen in the mind. They move through us physically. During the live, we actually paused to breathe, shake, and let some of that tension move rather than pretending it wasn’t there.

A big part of our conversation became the dark itself: the liminal places, the winter, the womb, the seed underground, the cave. I don’t think darkness is automatically something to escape. Sometimes it is where rest, regeneration, and transformation are happening before we can see the new thing forming. My image for this is: go into the dark, but bring a flashlight— breath, gratitude, prayer, movement, Love.

Instead of immediately asking, What’s wrong with me? we can ask, What has this come to show me?

And finally, we talked about grace and patience through the process.

We expect transformation to happen so quickly. We learn something and immediately think we should be doing it perfectly. But I think of a child learning to walk. You don’t scream at them when they fall. You celebrate that they stood up again.

Maybe that is much of the work.

Slow down. Listen. Let things settle. Be curious about what comes up. Love yourself while you’re learning. And when you fall back into an old pattern, get up again.

The liminal space isn’t only the uncomfortable place between two lives.

Sometimes it’s the womb where the next one is forming.

A Quick recent Healing Story

This week I helped another woman—her eye had been sealed shut for five years. Many hospital visits with no answers. We worked together in the living room, clothes on, sitting on the sofa for an hour and a half.

And now she can see fully again. It’s wide open, she has her spatial perception back, and her sight has improved in both eyes. She can also stand up quicker, shoulders have dropped, and can walk again with ease. (She couldn’t stand easily on her own and she shuffled very slowly)

She was an elder Peruvian woman and the mother of a dear friend.

My favorite part of it? Her husband stood by, so attentive and with his mouth wide open as he saw the transformation in real time. Most people don’t notice the shift… they go… I think I feel a little lighter. It’s the witnesses that can see the most. He told me. She has not opened that eye for 5 years and it’s open now. He told his wife on repeat who didn’t even fully realize what happened.

The Smell of Spearmint

Today I walked into my local coworking café to write and ran into a couple of friends. A friend of mine was going back to her homeland with her family for a month to spend time with family. I could feel the excitement to spend time with them, but also heaviness, as she was worried about wars and the disconnection from herself and how she feels when she goes back.

As she was talking, I smelled the strongest whiff of spearmint that lingered in my nostrils. I looked around to see if they were brewing tea or someone had just put on essential oil.

Nothing.

I had to mention it. “Does anyone smell mint? It’s so, so strong.”

No one else smelled it.

I never know if a message is coming through… because the smell is so real.

I paused to tell my friend a quick backstory that happened that about a month ago, because it’s a strange thing to just drop a message from Spirit into a casual “How are you?” conversation.

This smell has a deep meaning and now I have a message delivery for you. I just don’t know what it is yet.

The Backstory of the Gas Explosion in my Mind

I gave a free reading to a woman sitting next to me, and I smelled the strongest, overwhelming smell of propane gas (the cooking gas here) and then saw an explosion in my mind’s eye. I couldn’t shake it. I actually ran to the owner of the café to ask him to check if there was a gas leak. (They actually had an explosion the year before.) He checked it, and no else one smelled any gas.

I maybe looked like a madwoman, as the owner was like, “Are you okay?” They didn’t find anything. I muttered, “I’m a psychic. this might not be about you…” what a crazy thing to say. hahah.

Then I heard, “Tell her.”

I didn’t even know her name. She had already left. I had to run out and down the road to find the girl I’d given a reading to. I found her in the street and I said, “This may sound strange, but please check your gas when you get home. I think there is a leak or it was left on. Don’t light anything when you enter the home or turn on the lights.”

I found out weeks later that her gas was indeed on.

So when I told my friend this story and that I smelled mint strongly, I stood there for a moment and said, “Let me check if this is a message.”

I saw a quick series of visions and had a certain knowingness, followed by big chills through my body and an immediate sweat. And I heard a message. (This all happened within seconds.)

I said, “Okay, I think when you go to back to your country, it will be helpful for you to drink mint tea. Do they even have that there?”

She responded, “Omigosh. Yes, it’s spearmint, and it’s the only tea they serve in every café. It’s either coffee or spearmint tea!”

I responded, “Spearmint! Yes, that was the exact mint. That’s wild!”

Then I saw that her family has been more in nature since they relocated to Peru, while her nation is a desert, all dusty and brown. They wouldn’t be seeing as much greenery or feel the same connection to life and the earth, and that’s why it feels so heavy.

I heard that spearmint would help them stay grounded, and with that lively essential fresh oil, it would help with the family’s well-being, stomachs, and help them not get checked out when they went back.

Mints have clarifying and purifying properties. They are also full of life force. I mean look at that green.

She teared up, hugged me and thanked me.

I got more full-body sweats and then a sense of ease in my skin that meant the message was delivered.

We are truly affected by place and land more than we realize.

This has become a normal occurrence but somehow it still somewhat surprises me. Some messages are deeply emotional. Some are about past lives. Some are as simple as, drink some mint tea… I just never know.

When People Don’t Know Me

This isn’t the first time. I’ve delivered many thousands of messages over the course of years, but it is an easier delivery when people know or get a sense that I’m a psychic, healer, and channeler. It’s hard to explain and has many layers of judgment and fear surrounding it, given societal dogmas and beliefs.

I grew up in Christian fundamentalism that thought me demonic for being able to hear things, see things as they are, and know things I shouldn’t justifiably know.

It’s stranger when I speak to, say, a bus driver I’ve never met before who is taking me to town. I was nudged to bring up his sick son, whom I shouldn’t have known about, and how to help him heal.

He had deeply Catholic beliefs, as many do down here, and he looked at me like I was a terrifying witch at first.

I had to assure him that it was God and the Holy Spirit, and that God actually hears his prayers. I saw him on his knees, crying in prayer and desperation for his son every night. I was trying to tell him that He heard him, but most people talk at God and don’t listen in response… and it comes through life, synchronicity, and that inner feeling of the heart that most people write off.

He cried. He nodded. I got out of the bus.

Tuning the Antenna

I really believe God/higher power/creation is trying to talk to us all the time, but not everyone pays attention or has their antenna tuned.

Interestingly enough, the bodywork I do lightens the heaviness of the body, and light naturally flows in, “tuning the antenna.” All the clairs for psychic connection move through bodily sensations, whether through the nervous system, the brain, or the physical tissue.

It was actually never my intention to be a messenger, I guess you could call it, it just naturally happened as my body became a clearer vessel when I was discovering the healing bodywork methodology that I ended up being nudged to teach.

That with the movement towards slower, simpler more natural rhythms.

It’s also why I think people who live closer to nature, in its natural rhythms, with less artificial noise, smells, and lights, have a more tuned antenna to receive this radio station/channel. I connect with a lot of alternative living people and off gridders.

It’s a subtle thing, and most of us have strong sounds, nonstop noise, and a constant mind track that doesn’t allow us to hear this natural connection to God that is within us all.

Most of what I do is acknowledge and pay attention. I notice and listen and realize it is meaningful. It’s a slow study. Over the years and consistent confirmation that what I’m bringing up lands in truth for others has helped build my confidence to be this weirdo that goes. Hey, I have a message for you…. (which generally means nothing to me it comes in symbols feelings and whisperings… but somehow means something deep to others)

I’ve slowly learned to trust this nudge.

This is a constant state now for me after much meditation, and, I think, lifetimes of developing this connection. There were years I questioned it, hid it, hated it, and felt deeply uncomfortable sharing what I saw. There are many times it shocks people, triggers people or brings people to tears in public. There were times it shocked me and confused me.

But I’ve learned slowly to trust it and me.

A friend of mine had a dream that I had a little Bluetooth in my ear as a direct connection to messages from God. That was helpful… because for years she didn’t trust her intuition, and I didn’t always know how to explain why I knew what I knew.

The Language of Symbol

It’s taken me time to understand this metaphorical and sensational (sensing) language.

This is also why I connect to designers, artists, writers, and poets. They understand the meaningfulness beyond the singular definition of a word and the layeredness of symbol.

Everything is talking and truly here for us, guiding us with clarity through life.

And I find many people have had that weird dream that came through, the “what are the chances?” song that plays, that thought where someone popped into their head and then they called five minutes later, or that feeling of shivers when someone says something true. Most people just write it off or hide it.

Just because its invisible, doesn’t mean its not real.

In this day and age, where we are all constantly connected to Wi-Fi signals sending information and images invisibly through the sky, all around the world in the ether… more people can handle believing in unseen forces. X-rays, infrared, planets we’ve never seen with our actual eyes—only through information taken by others or machines—invisible gases, toxins, microplastics and Wi-Fi… and maybe also things like spirits, energies, or that which is beyond the veil.

We now live in a time where we collectively watch movies about multiple dimensions and timelines.

Maybe humanity won’t burn people like me at the stake or send them hiding in the woods. And maybe we’ll realize all of us actually have a level of intuition that we can tune into and realize is real.

How Do I Describe What I Talk To and Listen To?

I call it the wind with different types of gusts or whispers. Or the Holy Spirit. Or pneuma—the word in Ancient Greek that means the animating life-force.

Some people call it the divine within each one of us. The universe, Love. The Higher Self.

I think it’s using our whole self—heart, mind, spirit, third eye, and body—all of it, all unified (the true definition of Yoga), and realizing our body is a perfectly designed temple to receive divine guidance. (and this can be taught.)

I see God-force/life force/love as a tapestry of life, and each thread of ancestral, land roamers, sea dwellers, angels, stars and people are all woven threads of this concept of God/Oneness, as it was originally named in many ancient languages, including the Bible.

I use layered/slashes of words to add meaning for how I view God because many times people have separated these concepts, but they are all the same thing with many names and faces.

There were once thousands of words for the concept of God in ancient times. In modern times, I find our limited words shrink God and separate us. It can’t grasp God’s enormity. And many people have triggers when they hear certain versions of how it’s explained in our modern era.

A Call From Spirit/Love

Many times, this is just a call from Spirit/love that asks me to stop whatever plans I thought I had to share something, see something.

I don’t charge. Because “Hey! I have a meaningful message from God that is something you’ve never shared with anyone. It’s tender, unspoken, and I gently whisper it so you feel less alone and seen beyond… Now. Give me money.”

Something about that never felt right.

So I get to trust.

Trust that I can continue delivering messages and be financially supported to live my purpose.

This includes this message for all of you secret intuitives who felt like a weirdo, questioned it, or alone like I did. Or were called a witch when you had a feeling about something or read something between the lines that most others didn’t see, and it freaked people out—including yourself.

What I Need to Keep Doing the Work

Sometimes I forget where I am and what I need in the work of caretaker and message delivery person.

I’ve been asking what I need.

I need financial support to get my boys into a school that supports their needs—also psychic, sensitive, and the world might consider them autistic, even. Here in Peru, the public school has a military and Catholic foundation from the old colonial schools that were developed here.

I also need a work-life balance where I have some time to write, set up consistent and available schedules, and be the sole provider for my boys doing this work.

There is an alternative/outdoor/Montessori/bilingual school that understands the needs of sensitive kids.

I’m looking for a sponsor for their education.

I’m starting to get back on my feet after a pretty humbling and difficult restart as we left the jungle. We are looking for some guardian angels and heroes who can help us set up this foundation and so I can continue doing the work I know I’m called to do.

I have spent the year doing school visits and paperwork to get the boys, who have been wild and homeschooling, into school, and realized very deeply that we need help with this step.

Those Who Paved the Way

I also wanted to share that I’m so grateful for people like John Edward, Tyler Henry, Charlie Goldsmith, Theresa Caputo, and many others, and that they’ve paved a way in the mainstream for people who work between worlds and have these tuned sensitivities.

They speak publicly about the tradeoffs and challenges of this work—the discomforts, backlash, and physical effects, like needing rest sometimes after deep work. It’s not an easy path.

Also, a deep thanks to those who have taken the time to purchase a channeled message/reading from me. I appreciate the trust and vulnerability it takes to reach out to someone like me.

This still isn’t something people know to ask for, but they can be deeply clarifying and healing.

The channeling part is not the only work I share. I also help move energy through the body, very literally and have helped people hear again, see again and move limbs that were frozen. This week’s live surprised me.

I wasn’t sure how many people would actually follow along. Breathwork and body awareness can feel awkward through a screen, and I wondered whether people would simply listen or actually participate. Instead, people joined in. They breathed. They moved. They checked in with their bodies. The comments kept coming.

People reported subtle but noticeable changes—more sweating, shoulders dropping, feeling their tiredness, yawning, coughing, mucus moving, tears, warmth, softness, and simply feeling different after only a few minutes. Others commented that they could feel a shift even if it wasn’t dramatic.

One of the biggest things I noticed wasn’t just the physical changes. It was the willingness to engage. People asked questions, shared what they were experiencing, and were interested in doing more interactive sessions together. Several expressed interest in live Zooms or co-hosted demonstrations where we could work through things in real time rather than simply talking about healing.

That felt significant.

For years most of this work happened quietly, one person at a time. Seeing people willing to experiment together, laugh together, and report what they were noticing reminded me that healing doesn’t always have to be serious. There was room for giggles, awkwardness, curiosity, and genuine embodiment all at once. The body responds remarkably well when it feels safe enough to participate instead of perform.

It also reinforced something I’ve believed for a long time: these practices are meant to be experienced, not merely understood intellectually. Like I shared during the live, a hammer doesn’t build a house by itself—you have to pick it up and use it. The same is true for these tools. Understanding isn’t the same as doing. The body learns through participation.

More than anything, I left feeling encouraged.

This work is ready to become more communal.

Not because I have all the answers, but because people seem genuinely willing to explore together.

It was a normal day passing through town on a visit, but just a bit more spacious than usual. I wandered a bit and found, on an old familiar corner, a new place I hadn’t seen before. It looked like a little library full of books—not something you see much in Peru.

There are no public libraries here. And gosh, I love books.

I meandered in as it had this inviting glimmer to it. One you don’t see with your eyes, but with a feeling or sheen... one that I’ve learned to follow.

An Unexpected Meeting

It turned out that was a community center with drama classes, workshops for kids, and guest lecturers from around Peru. It had been there for a year or so but It was during the time I lived in the jungle and was seeing my old town as things changed while I was away.

An older gentleman was sitting at the entrance with the books. We had a friendly chat and he shared that he was actually quite a famous Peruvian filmmaker to share his work and give a lecture in a couple hours.

After some chatting came that question: What do you do? The one where I kind of shrug because the answer hadn’t quite crystallized... healer, writer, mom…crazy lady living in the jungle.

“Um...I discovered this thing about the body and how it works... I guess it might be considered a curandera.”

He pled with me, “Please. This is synchronicity. This is meant to be. Please stay. You walked in for a reason. Stay for my friend who is on her way. She’s gone deaf over the years and has been to many hospitals. She’s out of hope and is coming today. Wait. Wait for her.”

Okay...

I didn’t really have a place to be, so I agreed.

And in that moment, she walked in.

She is an 86-year-old Peruvian woman who I found out was a children’s author, merging old Indigenous stories into modern wisdom for children. Could it be something I cared for more? Children, old wisdom held by female elders? I immediately fell in love with this abuelita.

The Impromptu Public Session

I asked if she’d be open to doing a session without the pressure from her filmmaker friend. She agreed.

With guided breathing, I pressed and wiggled blocked spots along her jaw, sinus pressure points, and around the ears. Cleared constriction around her arm channels where the heat and pressure drain from shoulders neck and Vagus nerve.. She went along with it. She did the breaths and the weird faces to stretch specific places in her body and meridians.

It was an hour and a half of some deep intensity, moving old energy out... in a little corner of this community center, library, art workshop place just off the plaza.

I didn’t notice that, as we worked, the place filled up. Workshops happening. People coming in and out.

I kept asking during the session, “How are you feeling? Did you feel this tingle? Did you hear your ears crack? How are you doing?”I was working quite deeply which can feel intense and quite painful, but she was a trooper.

The more one can face discomfort, the more it moves.

Her Ears Fully Opened

Then her ears popped open. I could feel it. She could feel it. Her eyes popped open too as she looked at me in disbelief. “I can hear!!! I can hear everything in this room!!” She’d spent many thousands of dollars, in and out of hospitals, on pills, and looking into surgery over the course of years. And just like that, with our time together, her ears popped open.

All of a sudden I could too and realized we were in quite a crowded space and people had been watching.

She immediately got up and was bouncing around the space saying, “Es un milagro. No Puede ser! Te escucho!!” It’s a miracle. No way! I can hear. I can hear. My ears opened.”

We chatted for a moment. She said she had no more money on her, but handed me 50 soles—about 14 dollars.

She kept bouncing around the space saying a miracle had occurred. She told the filmmaker. The owner of the space. Yelling through the room that a miracle occurred.

Quietly Exiting

I felt overwhelmed with so many people present. Witnesses.

Up until then, the healing work had always been one-on-one—very intimate. I hadn’t realized the room had filled up while we were working, and she was joyfully telling everyone who would listen.

I hadn’t seen a session open deafness before... help tinnitus, sure. Help with jaw pain... many times. But a woman who had literally been unable to hear for four years? I think I was in shock.

When I landed back in the physical space, I didn’t really know what to do. It’s like I’m in a different headspace during sessions... during the healing work.

So I just slipped out the door without a word.

And that was that.

Other healing stories

The truth is, my journey has been astounding taking me to many continents with stories from hanging with celebrities, working with billionaires, almost moving to Germany with a executive of the biggest solar company in the world at that time and many other wild and crazy twists- and many of you know yes, most recently 3 years off-grid in the jungles of Machu Picchu, Peru.

Yet it started with a little girl who was orphaned, neglected and started a new life with and adopted family in a small town where I was sexually abused at night.

Many decades of my life were full of trauma response and deep fear and anxiety. Somehow through grace, tools, synchronistic teachers, hard choices…I was able to and continue to transform it into something else. Healing, love, forgiveness, growth and rooted strength.

Imperfectly, of course, and full of stumbles, trips and deep introspection for those old clinging and practiced patterns that were seeded early on.

This truly is a journey, one that has gone through great through difficulty, great highs and spirals around the two.

There was a time
I slept beneath my bed
or curled in the tub—
where the night felt safer
than the sound of the keys.

I locked the door
not to shut the world out
but to keep myself in—
whole, unseen,
and somehow still breathing.

There was a time
I disappeared in plain sight,
cleaning messes in the shadows
like prayers, sweeping sorrow
into corners
so I could make sense
of an upside-down world.

But oh—
the girl who once hid
has grown wings from her scars.
I no longer whisper my worth—
I carry it in my walk,
in my hands,
in the way I stay soft
even after all that.

I walked myself
out of the forest of fear
with hurting calloused feet
and bright questions.

I chose truth
even when it shook in my voice.

I found my body again.
Forgave its trembling.
Thanked its pulse.
Loved its holding.

Now I walk like a lighthouse—
not to be seen,
but to see clearly.
Not to be saved,
but to bless the path
for others finding their way.

I am the prayer now.
The stillness.
The return.

I am the flame
in my own sacred night.

I walked myself home.

I spent a lot of time walking home at night when I lived in the jungle. No streetlights, just the sound of the jungle chorus with a glimpse of shadows only from a stream of moonlight through the trees or the flashing of lightning bugs. I pondered the darkness in the last 3 years and the journey that brought me to where I am as I am. I learned to see in the dark.

Listening to Mozart while I was making breakfast, and my youngest was doing sculpture with Play-Doh at the table something popped into our conversation.

Julian, my six-year-old, said out of the blue, “Hey, I know this song.” (He’d never heard it before—we usually listen to Bach and Handel.)

“This is just so relaxing, but I’m able to focus better. Oh and I remembered a past life when I climbed a high tree and was gazing down below to listen to the beautiful music” (and yes, he really used the word gazing)

“And what did you see?”

“There were a bunch of people who had weird curly hair and weird dresses, moving around. They looked like aliens.”

Through the Music

As the song continued...

“Ohh, we are a quarter of the way through this song.”

(He was 100% correct—it’s a 20-minute piece.)

“My favorite part is coming. It’s right at the end.”

A few minutes later...

“No, three-quarters of the way in. That’s my absolute favorite part. After the violins.”

“Aaaaaand... here’s the end.”

And it ended just like that. Neither of us had heard that song before.

Then, he and Liam started dancing to the next serenade.

Their Stories

My boys have really clear and detailed memories of past-life things they never had lived in this lifetime —details and explanations that would shock people. Specific things they never has experience with as we didn’t do many movies in the jungle or their early childhood (just a lot of nature documentaries and peaceful cartoons) . We aren’t around ads or incessant noise. These were specifics they simply couldn’t have known. This has become a fairly common thing.

Julian remembered a time when his father was a king. (He may have gotten the nickname from his older brothers “Hoolie, ruley, bully butt,” when he’s being particularly demanding) He also had this way of playing like he was disarming bombs in the forest—the way he’d crawl on his stomach and say, “Fire in the hole!” when he’d never heard that or seen a war movie.

Alex ate one of those weird fake-cheese-filled crunchy breadstick bites called Pizza Combos for the first time. (I had this strange craving for them because they were nostalgic, and they arrived up at the gas station in my little Peruvian town, so I bought a pack to share.)

Alex ate one. His entire stance changed, and he looked up with this faraway gaze.

“Whoa... I had a lifetime as a New York City cop. We’d keep this in our pocket... but there was this real pizza too. What a life. A lot of sitting around and being bored, but then these unexpected times of action, kinda scary. It was mostly pretty boring, actually. A lot of walking around with your buddy.”

Liam remembered times being a scientist, musician, inventor, hunter, and even different animals in the forest.

He said he helped construct the pyramids of Giza and put the capstone on. “There were so many people that had to work together for it.”

“I had to work on the Statue of Liberty, but I spoke French, and there was a lot of work on that, a lot of welding.” Liam is wildly inventive and can build anything after seeing it just once.

There stories go across space and time beyond what their human eyes have seen. I have hundreds of moments like this. It’s really fun to explore with them. I had a bit of awareness around old souls from Dolores Cannon’s work, but honestly, most of it shocked me in the early years.

Beyond This Lifetime

They also remember lifetimes from other planets and star systems and have told me about them since they were two and three years old.

This all may be unbelievable...That’s okay.

But with things like The Telepathy Tapes and near-death experiences becoming more mainstream—not to mention the billions of people throughout Hindu and Buddhist history, as well as many Indigenous belief systems, that say our soul is eternal and comes back around to continually learn and expand—and science saying that energy doesn’t die but changes form, and quantum physics exploring the nature of reality...different timelines and dimensions…

The only major belief system that says there is one singular, definitive end is the more modern framework rooted in monotheism (one singular father god as the divine separate from us— Judaism and then branching out to Christianity, and Islam. Also ideas of chosen-ness, one way or the wrong way, and a whole lot of shame, division and war….

Before that eon on earth, many cultures believed there were many cycles for the soul to experience different lives and lessons.

Curiosity Over Certainty

Whether people believe it or not doesn’t really matter.

It can also be an amazing exploration of curiosity, storytelling, and self-reflection.

Many people might write off what kids say. Most don’t have the kind of relationship of listening and storytelling that we do.

But I promise, if you let kids really say what they think without saying, “That’s not how it works,” or “That’s not possible,” I’m curious how much your own kids might share.

The other thing is that these stories happen in normal day-to-day life.

Play-Doh time. Hanging out on the tree swing. Making food together. Waiting for a bus.

The conversation usually changes within a breath to things like, “Oh, I saw my friend go by.” “Do you know how long a Komodo dragon is?” “I’m hungry.”

Hahaha. Pretty normal kids.

So I have to be present to even hear something as simple as, “I know this song,” or, “I had a funny thing in my head.”

Most people learn away from their homes and families, in institutional settings that have prescribed and specific ideologies. Stories like this wouldn’t be given much thought or shut down in many arenas.

My kids are wildly communicative since a very young age. Many people don’t believe they say things with this type of vocabulary, but when you spend hours every day in conversation with children, really listening without rushing to correct or dismiss them, they often reveal far more than we expect.

(my kids speak 2 languages, read classic books and were speaking full sentences at 1- they write stories and we explore a lot of ideas together using very full and descriptive language skills)

Alex, my eldest son knew his lifes’ mission when he was 4 years old and articulated it as if he was eternal: Here he is building a community in the sandbox where all of those with loving hearts could live together.

I’ve been telling her for years that I’ve learned how to heal anything in the body. She, like most people, would nod and say, “Yeah, yeah, that’s nice.” Then they’d go to doctors, chiropractors, follow things online... but without any major changes.

Three days ago she called me with severe lower back pain.

“Can you help?”

Of course.

She couldn’t even make the bed without pain and needing to rest. She’s had back pain most of her life, but recently it had become excruciating.

I told her: soak your feet, stretch, crack and wiggle your toes. Do the breathwork and visualization. Pound on the outside of your legs. Lean to one side while sitting, with your head draped over your knee.

She did it twice

Simple Doesn’t Mean Ineffective

Today she did a full day of housework, including using the lawnmower, without the severe pain in her heels, hips, and lower back. She still couldn’t believe it. She just kept saying,

“It works! It works!”

Even the people closest to me didn’t believe it could be this simple.

It’s systematically getting the body’s flushing system back online from the outside in.

Most people wait until their body breaks down and they’ve been in and out of treatments for years before they reach out to me. I have so much available online for free. My heart breaks. I offer it, but people often think it’s too good to be true. Too simple.

For years I’ve mostly had to offer this work for free so people would believe me.

I’m ready for the people who genuinely want to heal and are willing to invest in the process.

You don't need yoga mats, gear, classes or even massage to help open and heal sciatic issues. While they do help, just a little bit of daily care and stretching to take the pressure off your compressed lower back causing sciatic pain. This one is great for pregnant mommas, anyone on their feet all day, and people sitting at desks or their cars too long.

Lower back pain is the worst- It makes it almost impossible to focus on anything else. It's time to give back to your body with some gentle stretching and pressure points.

Start with the restorative long slow breath.
Soak your feet in rosemary and salt for a couple days.
Take your fists and pound on the outside of the legs top to bottom using the side of your fist.
Stretch the feet out of your hips before you got to sleep. pull them towards the end of the day..

I was recently interviewed (posted today) by an amazing Momma in Italy: Danni Levy here on Substack: Read the whole article here.

She asked incredibly deep and insightful questions and I’m going to breakdown some of my responses in the next few posts. This is about how to protect children in a weird wonky world.

For those of you who are new here!
My three little boys and I now live in a small Andean village in Peru surrounded by nature, but we spent 3 years in a deep dive off-grid lifestyle pretty remote and deep in the forests of Machu Picchu, Peru without electricity, running water or working internet for much of the time.

Q: I understand your choices. In a less all-in way, my husband and I have made huge life shifts away from a system that is power-driven, aggressive, and violent, that wants us obedient, ignorant, and numb.

Do you believe that we can protect our children from this?

I don’t think we can protect our children from everything, nor do I think that’s our job. I think a lot about the word protect. Its etymological roots aren’t really about shielding or defending. They’re closer to creating shelter—to putting a roof over something while it grows.

Protecting is like safety in a storm. That’s how I think about the years we spent in nature. That time was intentionally about connection. Connection to themselves, to their bodies, to the earth, to wonder, to imagination, and to the rhythms of life. I wasn’t trying to isolate my boys from the world. I was trying to create enough space and quiet that they could hear themselves before the world started telling them who they should be.

We live in a culture that is constantly pushing messages about success, beauty, status, consumption, and identity. It normalizes violence and sexuality. I wanted my boys to have the opportunity to develop a relationship with themselves before all of those voices became so loud.

That doesn’t mean I bring everything into their lives equally. I don’t introduce violent content, hypersexualized content, or what I would call fragmented energy.

I know they’ll encounter those things eventually. My goal isn’t to keep them from the world forever. It’s to help them develop awareness before they meet it.

The questions I ask my boys often is:

How do you feel in your body? Are you here? Is that energy yours?

I’m trying to help them develop discernment. To feel deeply rooted in their own vibration/essence/self so that they can see clearly from a clear (ish) lens.

Because I know eventually the world will press in with its expectations, cultural norms, trends, fears, aggressions and distractions. I can’t make those decisions for them forever, nor want to But I hope they can recognize when something expands them, when something contracts them, and when they’re acting from their own values and voice, versus simply reacting to outside pressure.

Danny’s Thought: ‘To hear themselves before the world got to them.’ I am crazy in love with this thought. And awareness - lacking this is what makes us defenseless to what’s attacking our humanhood. Creating a sense of connection as a form of protection; connection is the roof as we grow and continue growing. This feels right. When we feel deeply connected to Nature, beauty and creativity, when we are deeply connected to ourselves, this is when we are capable of taking care of our life.)

Anything else you do to instill awareness and connection?

As we’ve come back into society, we talk about these things openly. Being able to ask hard questions and openly discuss with real honestly curiosity matters to me.

Why do some people care so much about certain shoes? Why can’t we have phones? What role does technology play in our lives? When is it helping us create, connect, and learn, and when does it begin to shape us in ways we don’t even notice?

I don’t want to tell my boys what to think. I want them to learn how to think.

Then we talk about how some people have different value systems and different ideas about what’s important. As we reentered society, they’ve had a sense of awe and curiosity and I realized how far we went into the wild. They now are beginning to have much larger framework for what different realities exist. Ultimately, they will make their own choices. They’ll decide where they want to live, what they value, and who they want to become.

What hopes do you have for their future? Do you hope they remain “in the wild”?

Do I hope they remain “in the wild”? Not necessarily. I hope they remain connected to themselves, which is nature.

I think a connection to nature is important because it’s visceral, tangible life force in motion. It’s breathing. It’s knowing that we’re not far away from what is alive. But there are lots of forms of that. It’s in the butterflies going through our backyard right now. It’s in having a houseplant and caring for something that’s alive. It’s in our pets, our relationships, our own skin, our gardens. I don’t think they’ll ever lose that love of nature or that feeling that it’s home to them. I hope they carry with them a love of nature, a sense of curiosity, and the understanding that there are many ways to live.

If they choose a city, wonderful. If they choose the countryside, wonderful. If one becomes an engineer, an artist, or something I can’t even imagine yet, wonderful. The goal was never permanent protection or isolation. It was to help them grow strong enough roots that they could step into the world as themselves. I believe their soul already chose their path and the lessons they want to learn. I’m here to be a guardian and walk with them to live their purpose whatever it is.

From your experience, is it easier or more difficult to love oneself away from Western Civilization?

I do think it is easier and more supported. I think it’s more possible to hear your own voice and connect to things that are alive when there is less noise competing for your attention. I do think modern Western culture pushes certain mechanized and disconnected ways of living. And it’s just so loud (lights, smells, volume of voices).

To me, aggression, violence, and many of the struggles we’re facing are often symptoms of that disconnection rather than the root cause.

When there are constant pressures telling us who we should be, what we should want, how we should look, and how we should live, it becomes harder to hear that quieter inner voice asking: What is true? What is it to be me? What is it to be honest with myself?

Nature helped strip away some of that noise. It gave me space to listen. It gave me space to question. It gave me space to notice what was actually mine and what had simply been inherited from family, culture, institutions, and expectations.

But I also gave myself that space with a choice to move there.

I think many philosophers, mystics, and teachers— Buddha, Jesus, Thoreau, and countless others—spent time in the wilderness or in solitude to connect with something deeper. Whether they called it God, nature, truth, the heart or the inner voice, I suspect they were all pointing toward the same thing.

So I do think there’s something to that. So yes, I think a quieter and more natural environment can support self-love, self-awareness, and coming alive. But I think we can reach that simply by sitting in stillness and introspection too.

I don’t think moving to the jungle in isolation is necessary.

I see people doing profound inner work in cities, suburbs, villages, and every kind of environment imaginable. I don’t think there is one right path. I certainly don’t think people should live the way I did. I simply know that the path I chose taught me lessons that were necessary for my journey. It expanded my perspective, deepened my empathy, was incredibly revealing and helped me understand both the beauty and the suffering that human beings are capable of creating.

I don’t tend to see life as black and white, good or bad, better or worse. I think there are many paths up the mountain. Some are quieter. Some are noisier. Some are harder. Some are gentler. But in many ways, I think we’re all moving toward the same questions: How do we know ourselves? How do we love ourselves? How do we become more fully alive? Location just adds different colors, opportunities and challenges.

Notes and response from Danni Levi: I agree, there are many paths up the mountain. And at the same time, you mention the noise. There are so many humans who are never exposed to a quiet, soft, slow environment, who are never in contact with other humans who ground instead of unhinge.

Kids are growing up feeling that silence is dangerous, that stillness feels dangerous, that an artificial world feels safer. They are incapable of simply being; instead, they distract themselves. How can we possibly hear ourselves, our hearts, observe our bodies, grow healthy, and heal? Many may disagree, but I believe that this is the cause of most mental illness. Is anyone in the “civilized” world not mentally ill today?

Nature Is Closer Than We Think

For those who don’t have a quiet natural environment, and whose children have never seen the stars or eaten fruit off a tree... I see you. I meet many people who write, “Well, good for you. Not all of us can live in Peru.”

There are so many movies and myths that teach us to fear nature. At some point, we can choose to stay in the boxes we’ve made or walk outside, feel the rain on our skin, and face the unknown despite the programs we’ve absorbed.

Start Where You Are

I wrote this for someone recently:

I’m glad that me posting about my kids’ natural environment stirred that longing in you. Lucky for us, there is nature everywhere. Within our own skin... our cells that were once the soil, the plant, or the animal.

It has been a personal journey to a more nature-immersed lifestyle. I started small—by putting little plants in pots to make my own nature from my little apartment in Los Angeles. I carried little stones in my pocket. I spoke to my cells that were once the soil, the lettuce, and the egg. The yearning, connection and movement to nature started to grow naturally.

I started taking my weekends to get outdoors, even if it meant a long drive instead of going someplace bustling. Then I took even longer trips.

I get a lot of messages of longing... something stirring. I hope that me sharing inspires people to walk in a local park or along a river. Even spending time outside and under the sky can be rejuvenating. I love getting messages from friends and families that say- your photos inspired us to take a weekend trip to the mountain!

My story is that I went deep into the forest for many years. But we can truly connect to the wild within us anywhere under the sun. Choices choices- to scroll and remain in the box. or to venture out or within.

A Simple Invitation

Let’s get creative about how we can create and connect to nature in many forms. We can choose to turn down the volume and the distraction and see what happens. I talk about this a lot in my long-form writing. This desire within me kept taking me deeper and deeper into the wild, but I tell people to just start where they are. It’s truly a choice to walk more toward nature, but we start where we stand.

I asked my children if it was okay to share photos of them in nature. (I don’t post about them without their consent.) I told them it might inspire others to go on walks. They agreed and are excited to hear that others might feel inspired to go play outside because they do.

So many children are raised to stress over grades and have no connection with the natural world.

What has been a great lesson that you and your boys have learned, not from word, books, or studying, but from experience with Nature?

One of the greatest lessons nature has taught me is about death. Not the response most people would think about, but living in the jungle made it impossible to avoid.

One thing consumes another, which consumes another. Life makes more life. Death makes more life. We raised chickens. We witnessed animals die. We watched things decay, transform, and return to the earth.

What strikes me is how disconnected many people have become from death. We’re terrified of it, and yet strangely numb to it at the same time. You can watch a movie where dozens of people die in the first few minutes and barely think about it. But that’s not death. It’s become numb and sensationalized. Entertainment.

Death has a smell. A weight. A grief. A process. I actually think that whenever we truly face death— whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a pet, a relationship, or a version of ourselves—we reconnect to something deeper.

We begin asking bigger questions because our mortality is in our face. It also connects us to the unseen world. Are you still with me? What is life purpose? Is there more than this? How do I use my time and what does it mean?

Nature showed me that life and death are not separate. They’re part of the same cycle.

One of my favorite examples came from my oldest son, Alex.

We had a flock of chickens that he loved, and he knew we were raising some of them for food. We lost 3 of our four family dogs. Our stored furniture slowly got eaten by termites and mold. Decay, Death and Life were all around us.

Around seven years old, he came to me one day and said, “Mom, I’m really going through something.“ I asked him what was wrong. He said, “I’m afraid of dying.” For months, he wrestled with it. He’d come to me and say, “You’re going to die one day.” And I’d say, “Yep. I am.“ He’d say, “I’d be really sad.”

And I’d tell him, “Of course you would. That’s okay. We’ve shared a lot of love.“ These questions, insights along with many dreams surfaced through the process.

I never tried to fix it. I just told him to take his time with the question. That I was here to reflect with him and he could go take walks in nature and ask God about it.

Then one day he came back and said, “Oh yeah, that death thing. I’m good now.“ I asked what conclusion he came to. He said, “It’s like our spirit puts on a shoe. When the shoe wears out, the shoe gets thrown away. Well, it goes back to the earth. That’s okay. We are eternal.” And that was it. He had gone through an existential crisis at seven years old and arrived at his own understanding.

That’s one reason I never underestimate children. They ask the biggest questions. More than giving answers, I think my role is to provide a safe place for those questions to exist. It’s also why I love the freedom and space of homeschooling. I don’t have to rush them to conclusion or teach them in the traditional sense.

I think the jungle helped us through some of the deepest questions because we had to face the darkness, we had to face things passing. We had to face life and death, things as they are even though they weren’t pretty or easy.

I think there is wisdom in facing that reality rather than turning away from it. Nature grows and dies. Grows and dies. And somehow, knowing that has made me less afraid to live.

I don’t really teach concepts. I invite people into an experience. Within the first few minutes, people are already breathing differently, relaxing their shoulders, feeling their bodies, and noticing themselves. That’s a very different experience than simply listening to someone explain healing,

Summary

This Full Moon Live explored the idea that healing isn’t just something we do—it’s a state we learn to practice.

Instead of asking, “What do I need to fix?”, we explored a different question:

What state of being am I practicing every day?

Many of us unknowingly practice tension, worry, urgency, self-criticism, or overwhelm. Through conscious breath, awareness, and simple embodied practices, we can begin cultivating different states—softness, curiosity, groundedness, playfulness, presence, and genuine ease.

The evening also became a live demonstration of intuitive readings for people who tuned in live, showing how the body often reveals what the mind hasn’t yet recognized.

A few takeaways

• Healing is a state, not just an event. The more often we practice softening, presence, and awareness, the more natural those states become.

• Your body usually knows before your mind does. Tight shoulders, a clenched jaw, restless legs, shallow breath, or a heavy chest are often invitations to listen rather than push through.

• Ask yourself: What am I devoted to? We all rehearse certain emotional states. Gratitude, curiosity, fear, criticism, urgency, joy—they grow stronger through repetition.

• “Just let it go” isn’t enough. Letting go became a fifteen-year practice of teaching the body how to be safe to soften again.

• Different states serve different moments. There is a time for stillness, a time for play, a time for laughter, a time for focused action, and a time for deep reflection. Wisdom is learning which state serves the moment and being able to fully tune in and embody it. (presenc)

• Experience teaches in a way information never can. Books can give knowledge, but lived experience transforms understanding. This is true wisdom.

• It’s rarely about the surface issue. Whether it’s a full trash can, conflict, or physical symptoms, I’m often interested in the deeper pattern underneath—the values, beliefs, or unmet needs driving what we see.

Some Teachers

Lately my growth has been centered around the wisdom of Joe Hudson who has helped me feel self-compassion in new very practical ways (for those parts I still judged criticized and shamed), as well as The Compassion Keys of Edward Mannix.

This work has been helping me welcome “unwanted guests” like shame, fear, rage, and disgust… the not-so-easy emotions to sit with. Edward Mannix encourages us to first say, “I’m sorry you went through that. I’m sorry you felt so alone…” to really acknowledge the subjective experience—that life thing that happened that really hurt. Then Joe goes into sitting with the feelings, wandering with them through curiosity, questions, experiments, and prompts.

This goes back to my intuition and practice of “comfort before fix,” something that I find helps turn off the reactive fight, flight, or freeze brain and then allows that forward-thinking neofrontal cortex to turn on in due time.

Many of us charge in trying to bulldoze our way through with immediacy— fix things, avoid things, or sweep them under the rug. But the state we are in is still dysregulated and all gunked up. Then we wonder why we cycle and loop around the thing without being able to rise above it. It’s the shift in our very state of being that is needed to see it from a new perspective.

The comfort, validation, softening, taking a walk, breathing, and acknowledging the shittiness of it helps us move beyond it, rather than trying to get past it quickly or pretend it’s not there. It’s certainly not the easy work. But I promise you it is the transformational.

And in other news, this week has been a mix of catching up on life practicalities after having childcare snafus and challenges, which have been so graciously smoothed out since I’ve found a wonderful woman to help me balance life again with the boys.

Yes, I’m a healer but not in the traditional sense. I discovered how the body heals itself. Big claim—so feel free to take it or leave it.

And Some Notes about Healing

Most people have conditioned skepticism by miracle cures, late-night infomercials, exaggerated wellness claims, and people promising impossible results and then disappointment… So when I say, people can heal their deafness in an hour and a half, or reverse insomnia from a lifetime in a session, most people just get skeptical. I get it. Truthfully not everyone heals immediately. I’ve shared some of the more astounding results in the past.

And

I think thats the most frustrating part of my work. Just getting people to see to believe, try to feel it on their skin. Try it. Many have probably tried everything else. Even making the time for a 15 min free consult… people hesitate.

There is so much faith in the medical system (which astounds me after most of my clients come and say they’ve gone to doctors for years and no solutions, only painkillers) and thousands of dollars poured into it… but asking you to try something with a random asian lady in Peru who writes about donkeys…. Well, it’s a tough sell some days :) I mean, I get it.

Moving past peoples beliefs and skepticism is the first layer— to an openness. to at least check it out, try it, witness it can be a hurdle. Thats’ okay. I’ll be sharing more about how I’ll do lives or videos so people can see it with their own eyes.

Now: Getting someone to Pay for work they’ve never heard of, is challenging to explain, remotely from Peru… without giving people freebies… hahaha! This has been the bigger mountain. Especially when people believe healers (who are humans who eat and pay rent) should go around doing in in service to humanity.

Most people found me here because of travel pictures, alternative living, conscious parenting, cultural observations and poetry— and bridging that this simple outdoor life… is only the surface and my real work : I’m a healer and guide with with hundreds if not thousands of cases to date I’ve experienced first hand that work consistently, that I’m just now trying to show the world. (my own issues of being seen…trusting myself and trusting God)

She Can Explain it Better Than Me.

Here are some words from a client (hate that word) about the experience of working together. A dear friend here on Substack who’s been dealing with pain, autoimmune type response and systemic inflammation for years who did a one and a half hour session with me.

Quick Results after a day if you don’t want to listen: She slept for the first time in forever because of chronic insomnia, her whole face changed shape, she detoxed fiercely immediately after for 24 hours, her family and friends are flabbergasted, she had more joy and lightness: her words not mine. Notes on differences between in-person session, live and easy follow-along practices

Hands On

I do hands on bodywork here in Peru and have for years but recently chose to close my clinic- so now I’m just helping random people on the street, I feel called to help out, doing occasional house visits or working with friends. YES, It is much more effective and fast simple for me to do hands-on work for the person receiving, because the person can sink into total relaxation as I guide the breath and visualizations and the deep work… The 15 years of study means I just know the body better than most people, so can find track and drain issues much faster. Some of the deeper movements take some real understanding of the body. Some of the sessions went into full visionary states or layers of sound and channeling come through as I can see peoples story and needs come through.

Downside: its very energetically intense for me, physically exhausting, and I end up sweating the sweat of others and burping and farting for hours as I link energy and help people purge because their system isn’t online, clenched or judging themselves….It’s pretty gnarly on my system, but it was when when I helped a lot of people walk again or gain total mobility and strength from being frozen pained limbs from accidents as. well as severe chronic stuff.

Online or Video Lives.

Online and video work together means we can share energy more deeply- I can feel your state and people can choose to match mine.. So they can be really powerful but it depends on how open people are (mentally and energetically) , how attuned and how much they talk through the session or are multitasking when watching a video rather than sinking in and feeling. This one makes me nervous becaus: healing is a very intimate, tender and uncomfortable journey that requires vulnerability. people snot, cry, scream and fart in order to release. That means even if you want it, the subconscious mind may still want to protect if we are on video together or posted live on the interwebs. The other issue is … I’m semi-new to doing this with tech and more importantly, publicly. It was a very personal thing for me to show myself.

The self work takes some consistency (not perfection), self-responsibility. and mostly learning how to connect to your own body. The issue with this is that most people are just simply not aware or paying attention of what is inside of them. They judge and decorate the outside and really only react or pay attention when things break and fall apart or go, Oh shit, I look fat in that picture, did i let myself go?

From there it can be a much longer journey.

Most people don’t pay attention to the slow build, changes and subtlety of the tingles, twitches, heaviness and texture. Most people are totally in the head or checked out and the energy isn’t focused to the body knowing how things affect how they feel and process. It takes a real practice (Progressive relaxation meditation helps) to tune into the physical self. However, I like to share that this can generally be a slower road.

but the benefit : people learn to heal themselves- think fishing rods instead of fish. You know how to heal and respond to your own self and have that power with you Always. This one takes some patience before you see the lasting and visible results. It will work, but the issue is you. dedication to doing the thing with curiosity. Our skeptical and quick fix world can make this challenging.

Shifting Modes and Why

I found most people wanted me to quickly heal them but didn’t learn the lesson… to stay with what they needed to feel and heal through knowing themselves better. Disease comes from imbalance- Dis-ease. When we find out what isn’t working, what is working we start to naturally heal. But most people are really attached to things that may not be great for them. relationships, products, the phone… the list goes on and on.

I’d help fix the pain in the neck from someone scrolling with their head hanging for hours… and then they’d jump right back on the phone in the next breath. the same thing that caused the hump, pain, non-stop -headaches and swimming eyes.

Finally, and this one is most important to me: many people want ot make you into some sort of guru or tell me I had super powers which I don’t. We’ve collectively actually been entrained to give our power away to some expert outside of ourself. I want people to know its THEM that is healing themselves. I’m just showing the mechanism and answering HOW and WHY. and pointing you back to you that You heal you.

I am not special, I just knew the body more. SO my consistent message from my guides is, “Let people be responsible for their own body and show them some of the pathways I discovered.”

I think that one of the reasons I moved to Peru was because of the intimate relationship people have with Pachamama—Mother Earth. Here, pacha means realm, world, or dimension, and mama means mother.

She is the mother of this realm. This earth experience is the Realm of the Mother.

Over the years, I’ve come to realize that we are not separate from her at all. Every thread that keeps us alive for a material earth experience came from her. Every board in our home came from her trees. Every bite of food we take was grown from her soil, nourished by her water, and transformed into our physical bodies. The water moving through our veins was once rain, rivers, clouds, oceans, and tears. When we die, we return to her again. Matter does not disappear; it simply changes form. Energy does not disappear; it changes form too.

When I speak of Pachamama, Gaia, Mother Nature, or Mother Earth, I am speaking of this life-giving force that sustains all physical existence. She is not somewhere else. She is all around us, under our feet, and within us.

People want to connect to her and I respond, just see her.

My youngest son once told me, “Don’t tell me you love me. Tell me you see me.” I understood exactly what he meant. So many of us long to be seen, acknowledged, and recognized for who we are. I think the same is true of our relationship with the Earth. When we truly see her, we begin to recognize that she has been supporting us all along. Is this all love is, true recognition of what is?

I also want to acknowledge the fatherly force or energy. There would be no life here without the sun, without the breath, without light pouring down and becoming food, growth, and energy. For me, Creator has always been both masculine and feminine, heaven and earth, light and matter, spirit and form. Yet I find that many of us spend so much time looking outside ourselves for the sacred that we forget it is already here, moving through every breath, every leaf, every river, eery bite of food and every living thing.

Learning the Language of Nature

People often ask me how to hear the voice of Pachamama, and my answer is surprisingly simple. It begins with paying attention.

Before we can hear anything, there has to be a little quiet. A little noticing. A little listening. For me, learning the language of nature didn’t begin through books or formal study. It began through and as a relationship. Any good relationship means communing, listening and spending time together. The ancients spoke about God, Universe ones. “I honor all my relations”

I started paying attention to birds. I listened to their calls and noticed how each one seemed to have a different personality. Some were playful and social. Others were soft and gentle. Some felt bold and opinionated. I would whistle back to them, watch their behavior, and slowly get to know them. The same thing happened with plants. Rosemary would catch my attention, so I would smell it, learn about it, drink it as tea, and notice how it felt in my body. Then another plant would appear, and then another. Little by little, over years, I developed a vocabulary and understanding and it was through lived experience with the natural world.

The funny thing is that I approached my garden the same way. I never spent hours forcing it. I would pull a few weeds, water a thirsty plant, notice what preferred shade and what preferred sun. It wasn’t grand or dramatic. It was simply relationship. One interaction at a time. One observation at a time. One moment of curiosity at a time.

That is how we get to know anything we love.

When the Mountains Began to Speak

Living in the Sacred Valley and later in the jungle, I spent countless hours outside. I began paying attention to the mountains. In the Quechua tradition, each mountain is an Apu, a guardian spirit. Every mountain seemed to have its own feeling, personality, and medicine. Some were sharp and dramatic. Some were soft and rolling. Some felt masculine, others feminine. Some caught the light in a particular way that made them seem alive because they were. Constantly shifting and transforming through the cycles and days.

I would sit and watch them through the seasons. I noticed how different families cared for the land differently and how the atmosphere seemed to change from one place to another. Some places felt abundant, welcoming, and alive. Others felt exhausted, overworked, or depleted. I noticed how animals gathered in certain areas, how forests carried different moods, and how the quality of sound, light, and even the feeling in the air seemed to shift. I could see how our energy and how we cared for the land directly affected the feeling of that little patch.

The more time I spent in nature, the more sensitive I became to subtle things. Not because I had developed some magical ability, but because everything else had become quieter. When there are fewer distractions, fewer lights, fewer noises, and fewer thoughts competing for attention, you begin to notice what was always there. The sounds from nature are tuned to us and we to them. We evolved hand in hand with natural sounds and when we return to it, we hear more.

The Day I Heard Her Voice

One evening I was sitting on a mountain as the sun began to set, and I was overwhelmed with grief. I could see humanity taking and taking from the Earth—mining her, ripping her open, polluting her rivers, exhausting her soil, consuming without reciprocity. I felt the pain of it deeply. I sat there crying and apologizing.

“I’m so sorry.”

As the light faded, I watched the trees begin to droop and the landscape turn gray. I thought I was witnessing something dying. Then something unexpected happened.

I heard her.

Not through my ears, but within.

The voice felt warm, grandmotherly, loving, and slightly amused. She said, “Sweet girl, thank you for seeing me.”

The feeling was like arriving at the home of a grandmother who had been waiting patiently for you all along to visit. And she was ready and had been there all along with a cup of tea and a blanket. There was warmth, tenderness, and a deep sense of being welcomed home. Then she laughed.

Not at me, but with the affection of someone who has witnessed countless ages come and go.

She explained that her memory stretches far beyond ours. That she has seen civilizations rise and fall, forests grow and disappear and return again. Yes, humanity is struggling right now, but she knows how to regenerate. She knows how to heal. She knows how to begin again. She’s always there to remind us of that.

Then she told me something I have never forgotten.

“Take care of the part of me that is you.”

In that moment I realized something profound. I thought she was dying because I watched the trees lower themselves toward the night. But she wasn’t dying. She was resting because it was evening and the sun went down. She was following her natural cycle. She was reminding me that everything moves in seasons.

Returning to the Mother

Since then, I have come to see that nature is constantly teaching us. There is a season to plant, a season to grow, a season to harvest, and a season to rest. There is a season to create and a season to grieve. A season to move forward and a season to become still. Every voice and being is one that exists to reflect more of me back to center. The layers of what I’ve learned from nature… are limitless and ever changing.

The more I stop fighting those rhythms and allow myself to move with them, the easier life becomes. Not perfect, but more natural. I have more energy when energy is needed and more rest when rest is needed.

I think this is one reason so many people are being called back to nature. Not because nature is separate from us, but because it reminds us who we are as we are. Every healthy ecosystem has a place for every being. The tree, the bird, the fungus, the insect, the river. Each one contributes something essential. I believe people are the same. The baker, the teacher, the healer, the artist, the parent—each of us has gifts and a role to play that nourishes and supports the other in its own way.

For me, talking to Pachamama is not complicated. It is simply remembering that she is already here. In the bird call. In the rain. In the mountains. In our bodies. In the breath moving through our lungs.

I think it’s why I started uncovering and remembering the Regenerative Bodywork System. Im getting to know every knot, rash, tingle and twitch. The blood, the bones and the cells. Taking part of me that is her and sharing that with others. So we can all come home.

We are not separate from her. We never were.

And perhaps hearing her voice begins the same way every relationship begins: by slowing down long enough to notice, listen, and remember. It’s to learn to say with depths more vast than oceans. I see you.

I think in these times as the balance of ways of being have been far out of alignment tilting to the masculine force for many eons… we now reach a point of reblancing as the mother/feminine rises to meet. It doesn’t bring down the yang/masculine. It meets it with love. May we listen to the feminine. the receptive, the nourishing, the complex, the multilayered, the interconnected, the cyclical, the darkness of her soil and the inner. . We listen to the quiet holding, the soothing, the beauty and the deep.
