This is post five-of-six in a series explaining Critical Race Theory and its replacement of the Catholic religion at Loyola Academy, a Jesuit high school, in Wilmette, Illinois. Today’s post, an open letter to the chairman of the school’s board, summarizes all of the previous work in the series and outlines reforms required to oppose Critical Race Theory.

Dear Mr. Walsh,

The leaders, and many teachers, at Loyola Academy are lost souls. They are a danger to the students. To guide the school away from cruelty and deceit, and vicious plans, the school must restate and rebuild its commitment to the love of God. You are the person who must lead this change, or you must find the person who is capable of this difficult mission.

Loyola Academy, in the reforms it must undertake, should return God to the central place in the life of its students and teachers. Prayer, mass, reading the Bible, and good works should be a part of every day of life at Loyola Academy. The love of the Catholic Church should be a part of every day of life at Loyola Academy. The love of God should define every day at Loyola Academy.

Young Catholics need practice to learn their faith, just as they need practice to learn any skill. You teach Catholicism by practicing Catholicism. Whenever it was that the basic and necessary practices of the Catholic faith were cut out, the change was a tragic mistake. Generations of students at Loyola Academy have been led away from God and the church. They have been taught, as I was 40 years ago, that the choice of faith is something they should decide when they are adults. Yet for all of history children are taught what their parents believe. Catholic parents of Catholic children go to Catholic schools where Catholic teachers show them how to live like Catholics. This is true when the world is sane.

The old theory of the Jesuits saying that the choice of religion should be an adult decision sounds defensible. The practical consequence is a mass conversion to loss of faith, a common outcome of a Loyola education. The loss of faith is, in my opinion, the aspiration of the Jesuits.

A newer more destructive path into faithlessness at Loyola maintains that the theology teachers are dedicated Marxists running under the street name “Progressive.” They preach the commandment of “social justice.” Their bible is Critical Race Theory Marxism. The original sin in their world is systemic racism. If that is true, and if it is true that Marxism is the antithesis of Catholicism, and if it is true that Marxism is the highest form of evil yet conceived by man, then Loyola and the Jesuits have made a fundamental break with God.

If all of this is true, and I believe it is, then Loyola Academy is not Catholic.

We should judge the Jesuits on the consequences of their actions. The loss of faith is overwhelmingly common among graduates. Hatred and contempt for the church are more likely than not. This derives from an obvious source: the malevolent atheism of the Jesuits.

We should return Loyola to the Catholic faith. We should dedicate our school to forming God’s warriors. The return requires a broad condemnation of the Jesuits’ pretense to belief. An ambitious leader wedded to Catholic faith would seek a separation of Loyola Academy and the Jesuits.

Whether or not the Jesuits believe in God or Marxism, the board should address a defining issue of the day which has a deep impact on school life. The board must boldly and confidently state and confirm its unwavering commitment to the principles of a colorblind society. This should be true at our school whether or not it is Catholic. I ask you to lead the board to affirm and champion a level playing field at our school and in American society. And, if you have the ambition to be a great leaders, you can encourage Catholic schools across the country to uphold this basic principle.

All persons of any race must be treated at Loyola Academy as God’s children. Every teacher and student and administrator are the same in that they are unique, not based upon the color of their skin, but they are unique based upon the gift of life and special purpose which God has given to each of them. We are all, individually, made in the image of God. We cannot be judged by or reduced to our skin color or our sex or our sexual orientation.

The board must affirm that Martin Luther King is not a white supremacist or a systemic racist, as he is described in Critical Race Theory, and as is taught through the work of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The board must confirm that the civil rights movement fulfilled the unequaled promise of the American founding. Every American citizen can demand equal rights and equal freedoms.

The civil war and the civil rights movement perfected the original aspirations of the founding fathers. Their thinking brought to life the greatest government in the history of the world. We have a government dedicated to the rights of the individual. We are free from the dictates of a king. We are free from the violent demands of a mob. We are free to answer to ourselves. We are free, if we choose, to serve God.  

In upholding our love of God, and in affirming the unique gift and purpose of each and every student, and in dedicating our life to a free-and-fair and level playing field for all, we must cancel and end all of the work of Critical Race Theory at Loyola Academy. It is, among its multitude of evils, a perfect expression of hatred for the level playing field. If we embrace and champion a level playing field, Critical Race Theory must be expelled. While it reigns at Loyola, and while Diversity, Equity and Inclusion reigns at Loyola, and while Black Lives Matter reigns at Loyola, it is not a Catholic school. It is a Marxist church, driven by unconscious hatred, in the disguise of a Catholic school.

Critical Race Theory, best summarized as Race War Marxism, seeks to abolish capitalism and the constitution by use of a race war. The class war under traditional Marxism is replaced with a race war, but both forms of Marxism work towards the same end -- revolution. The race war has been initiated throughout American society into its first stage through the demonization of the white race. The purpose of the demonization is to bring about the revolutionary goal where every citizen enjoys equal wealth and status. This was called the classless society under the old Marxism, but now goes by the name of “equity” to hide its Marxist nature.

Critical Race Theory says whites oppose equity to maintain their white privilege and to guarantee their racist commitment to white supremacy. Those who support America as founded, probably 95% of Americans, should understand that the goal of Critical Race Theory is to fundamentally attack the basic freedom which says a person owns what they have earned through their work. If you insist you own what you have earned, you are by definition a racist oppressing minorities.  

This Critical Race Theory religion, obsessed with dividing us into groups against each other, is dedicated to overturning America as founded. It is committed to an economic system whose signature output, by the historical record of Marxist societies, is state bankruptcy, systemic poverty, and the murder of citizens. This freakish religion must be condemned and expelled, or Loyola Academy students will be a plague. They will spread a deadly disease wherever they go. They will be made by our school into malignant preachers of hatred.

Consider the education of a student raised to believe in Critical Race Theory. Their indoctrination requires “teaching whites from childhood that they’re collectively guilty of past crimes and generally inferior,”[1] according to Professor Jason Hill, who teaches in the philosophy department at DePaul University. He has been studying Critical Race Theory for 25 years, and is its most forceful critic. The theory requires teachers to “annihilate the souls”[2] of white students. Teachers must employ against white students “a protracted process of induced guilt, shame, embarrassment, and extortion.”[3] Teachers of Critical Race Theory must “morally paralyze”[4] white children with shame; a shame which they cannot expel except by renouncing their whiteness and reimagining themselves as a member of an oppressed group.

Lost young white girls, for example, may choose to escape their whiteness by identifying as male. They will take on a transgender identification and give themselves a high social standing, and free themselves of their white history. While they may gain social acceptance, they will radically undermine a basic factual truth of their life. Who can honestly pretend that a troubled teenager will find their true purpose by pretending they have changed their sex?

The brutal self-abnegation of children sought by Critical Race Theory teachers clarifies the brutal dishonesty of Father McGrath, the former president of Loyola Academy. He could not even admit that Critical Race Theory requires children to apologize for their race, when it requires apology as a beginning step toward the middle step of complete self-hatred and then ends in the final step of conversion to Marxism. "Let me be clear,” Fr. McGrath said. “We have never -- and will never -- ask students to apologize for their race.” The truth under Critical Race Theory is that students will apologize for their race. Students will denounce their race. Students will abandon their race. They will seek an identity which cancels their race.   

Critical Race Theory, as Father McGrath should have explained to you and the board and every Loyola parent and student and teacher, seeks to “abolish the white race by any means necessary,”[5] according to the Critical Race Theory philosopher Noel Ignatiev, because “treason to whiteness is loyalty to humanity.”[6] Critical Race Theory says “the fight against white supremacy becomes the central immediate task”[7] for a dedicated believer. 

When loyalty to “white supremacy is eliminated as a force within the working class, the decks will be cleared for action … against its enemy."[8] The enemy, under Critical Race Theory, is America. The enemy is the constitution. The enemy is capitalism. The enemy includes all the pillars of American society. The enemy is the family. The enemy is God. The Marxists will defeat all of these enemies by deforming their students into weak mindless adherents lost in this world except when protesting anything and everything good which has been made.

An equity-driven society ruled by Critical Race Theory practitioners corrects the racism white “ancestors inflicted upon a competitor race.”[9] The correction is made by redistributing equal wealth and status to all. The new Marxist leaders can only impose equity with totalitarian powers. Those powers will not be freely given by tens of millions of Americans, who think of their house and their car and their bank account as their own. So Critical Race Theory Marxism, if it continues to amass power, leads us into civil war, while it pretends to be a simple and virtuous affirmative action program.

Everything good in life must be destroyed to overturn white supremacy, patriarchy, and capitalist oppression. This is the new religion Father McGrath introduced at Loyola, and which you must now support or oppose. This decision will define your board tenure and your public legacy. It will be the most consequential decision of your life, even if, as I expect, you make your choice with an answer of silence and a policy of accommodation. My expectation is that you will provide a leadership by cowardice. This has been the norm now at Loyola Academy for decades. Cowardice is the leadership practice at all the institutions which have surrendered to Critical Race Theory Marxism.  

We have witnessed Loyola’s commitment to the race war and the Marxism of Critical Race Theory and the systemic racist prejudice of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The school has demonized white students based upon their race through the teaching of Peter Jansen, who required students to answer this question: “How do you benefit from white privilege, and how have you held onto that benefit (despite knowing the harm it does)?[10] The school has promised to force out of work any teacher who objects to Critical Race Theory.[11] The school has promised to hire only teachers who believe in Critical Race Theory. The school has committed to making race a primary factor in hiring teachers and administrators.[12] This commitment is in direct opposition to the legal framework which lawful hiring should follow and violates basic principles of fairness.

Loyola has advocated for the end of whiteness, which is described as the central problem in American life, according to the guest lecturer Jacqueline Battalora. [13] Loyola has taught that all whites are sociopathic. [14] Loyola, through its guest lecturer David Stovall, has said America is living under the pandemics of capitalism and white supremacy.[15] Loyola has taught that whiteness is “genocide, slavery, and wrongful land appropriation.”[16] These are all religious precepts of devotion to Critical Race Theory Marxism (For a detailed listing of the evidence of the use of Critical Race Theory at Loyola Academy, please see “Race-War Marxism Invades Loyola Academy".). They have all been taught to Loyola students.  

As Critical Race Theory and its public face, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, gain momentum in the years ahead, students at Loyola will be taught that the highest form of racism is the level playing field won by Martin Luther King. Color blindness and civil rights and equality of opportunity and the level playing field will be described as “the epitome of racism.”[17] “The most threatening racist movement,” wrote Ibram Kendi, a leader in the Critical Race Theory movement, “is … the regular American's drive for a 'race-neutral' one.” [18] The “language of color blindness—like the language of ‘not racist’—is a mask to hide racism,” Kendi wrote in How to Be an Antiracist.[19]

The greatest legislative achievement in America, equality for all, and paid in a river of blood by the civil war, is now an act of white supremacy. Students will learn to hate equality under the law. They will learn to love breaking the law guaranteeing equal rights. “Social justice” will require them to hate dedication to a level playing field.  

The current influence of Critical Race Theory is, by far, the greatest threat the school and its students have ever faced in its history. The same is true for our country. We cannot tolerate at Loyola Academy those who seek hatred of all whites to encourage the destruction of America and the constitution, and who do so behind the disguise of an innocent program of affirmative action called Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

To understand the changes Loyola Academy can expect in the years ahead, consider the fate of one individual working in a major corporation ruled by Critical Race Theory Marxism and Diversity Equity and Inclusion.

Zac Kriegman was the director of data science at Thomson Reuters, one of the biggest news organizations in the world, which has an audience of one billion every day.[20]

Mr. Kriegman, whose job was to apply new machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to news data, analyzed the numbers on Black Lives Matter. He was the resident guru on math and numbers at Reuters. The Black Lives Matter theory says that racist white cops target blacks for death and murder blacks to satisfy racist animosity. Mr. Kriegman studied the numbers and concluded this central claim was false.

He posted his research[21] to an internal web site at Reuters where controversial matters could be debated and criticized. Among key facts which influenced his findings: Black Americans kill 37 percent of police officers killed on the job and police kill blacks in 34 percent of cases where unarmed suspects are killed by police.[22]

The percentage of blacks who kill police and the percentage of unarmed blacks killed by police are a near-perfect match. While not a proof in itself against the racist-policing theory, these critical numbers suggest police violence against blacks matches the frequency of violent encounters requiring the police to use deadly force.

Black Lives Matter took a different approach to the math in police shootings. They argued that black males represent only six percent of the population, but police kill unarmed black males at almost six times the rate which should be expected from their population size.[23] Why would 34 percent of unarmed suspects killed by police be black males when they are only six percent of the population? This gap proved the racist intent of white police officers. The gap justified the 2020 protests against systemic white racism. The gap created the reason for being for Black Lives Matter.  

The data makes sense of the gap and refutes the Black Lives Matter theory. The bottom line is that black males are much more likely to commit crime and so police are much more likely to engage them in a violent encounter. 

The propensity of black males to commit murder is in the statistics. Black males are 53% of all homicide offenders when they are just six percent of the population.[24]  Young black males (14-17 years of age) commit murder at 10 times the rate of other males in their age group.[25] Young black males are 27 times more likely to kill compared to the average American.[26] All of these statistics suggest the percentage of unarmed blacks killed by police should be higher than 34 percent of all cases.

Unarmed black males are killed by police in numbers disproportionate to their population size but black males commit crime at rates disproportionate to their population size. This basic math and basic logical analysis of black crime are withheld from stories on Black Lives Matter. The racist-police-killing-blacks theory is upheld as valid by suppressing the evidence. Literally tens of millions of Americans believe the Black Lives Matter theory, as do the vast majority of influential writers and broadcasters in Big Media, as do most or all of the “theology” teachers at Loyola Academy. “The first day of school all students were forced to participate and listen to a 30-minute lecture about white privilege and the Black Lives Matter movement,” a student told me. “BLM posters and banners were hung all over the school.”

Far more consequential for protecting black lives, the number of blacks killed in homicides every year is catastrophically high, and the number of blacks killed by police every year is, by comparison, inconsequential.

About 18 unarmed blacks are killed by police every year, but roughly 10,000 blacks are killed in homicides every year.[27] Black males are the killers in nine of ten of the 10,000 black homicides.[28] If we want to save black lives, we must stop blacks killing blacks. The threat of police killing blacks is a gargantuan fiction by a simple recognition of its extreme rarity.

Blacks murdered by black killers is a serious threat to black lives. We have ignored this central issue due to a fiction propounded by The Washington Post. They championed the Black Lives Matter hoax. They went all in on the laughable disproportionate-black-shootings math.

The worldview of Black Lives Matter, that racist cops endanger blacks, that this endangerment is the most consequential existential crisis in the black community, is a fraud and conspiracy theory.

The real world consequences are no hoax. Antifa and Black Lives Matter led billions of dollars of looting and property destruction in the summer 2020 riots. More than 650 protests included violence, assaults on police, vandalism or looting. Two thousand police officers were injured.[29] At least 25 people died in the protests. Over 16,000 rioters were arrested.[30]

Murder has increased dramatically after the May 2020 death of George Floyd. His death served as a central proof that racist white police threaten the lives of all blacks. The defund-the-police movement, a major far-left political-policy initiative, based its argument for “reform” on the Black Lives Matter hoax.

At Reuters, Mr. Kriegman hoped his internal report to his colleagues on Black Lives Matter would start a major correction of false reporting across the entire media universe describing police violence, rioting, defunding of the police, and black homicide. He knew the Black Lives Matter movement stole attention from true danger in the black community. For his efforts to tell the true story on Black Lives Matter, an effort driven by his moral commitment to do his part in making black life safer and better, Thompson Reuters fired Mr. Kriegman.

Critical Race Theory Marxism, and its training arm, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, has, in the case of Thompson Reuters, subverted the company’s dedication to truth; especially the reporting of hard truths. A principled reporter lives to tell hard truths. By firing Mr. Kriegman, it’s hard to imagine how Thompson Reuters could betray itself more completely.

The theory of Critical Race Theory says white police are oppressors, and murderers, of blacks. The theory says the white supremacy of the American patriarchy protects itself by instructing police to kill blacks. In the world of fact, if homicide is a form of oppression, then blacks are the oppressors of blacks. Blacks are the killers of blacks. Blacks are the pervasive danger and threat to black lives.

Should this simple fact be widely known, Critical Race Theory Marxism, where the preeminent fact of life is that whites are the oppressors of blacks, the theory falls like a house of cards. The theory falls deep into the realm of quack conspiracy. The place where it belongs. The problem today is that quack conspiracy believers are running the world.

Mr. Kriegman lost his work and livelihood for telling the truth inside an organization which, by its central purpose and mission, is dedicated to telling hard and difficult truths. Critical Race Theory Marxism ruined the guiding principle, the search for truth, at Thomson Reuters.

In the coming years, if we do not explicitly and openly cancel and end Critical Race Theory Marxism in business, in government, and in schools, the guiding principles of every institution where it rules will be corrupted and thrown away. You will know we have fallen to that place when the entirety of reality will be described as systemic racism.  

In the future, we will see people lose more than their job for speaking truthfully. The extremity of totalitarian measures taken against dissidents will ratchet upwards. After being fired, speakers against hard-left state power will have their bank accounts closed and confiscated. In the next advance, those who question Critical Race Theory Marxism will be sent to prison. The full circle of totalitarian governance will be complete, and rule us all, when people like Mr. Kriegman are censored on social media; are fired from their job; have their bank account confiscated; are physically removed from their family and home; are jailed on fabricated charges; and, if judged extreme in their dissent, are executed for their free speech.

This is not baseless speculation. This is the pattern of Marxist history. As many as 250 million citizens of Marxist countries suffered the pain of death for their dissent against the “social justice” state.[31] Marxist murder dwarves the estimated six million Jews killed by Hitler, an unspeakable tragedy which is widely considered among Americans as the greatest atrocity in human history. Marxism makes the Holocaust a minor event, and Marxism is the primary goal of our ruling class.  

The Marxist murders of the 20th century foreshadow our present danger in America. The broad ignorance of the murder of the Marxist past testifies to the extreme powers of Big Media to suppress any story. Marxist murder is the biggest story and greatest historic event of the past 100 years. It is very poorly known. And for good reason. If the bloody murder of Marxist’ governments was known, support for the Marxist movement would vanish; meaning Critical Race Theory and the progressive movement would collapse. Racist police killing blacks is not the existential threat in America today. Racism is not our existential threat. Climate change is not our existential threat. These fabricated causes are a diversion. They are a means for the acquisition of power. They are a Trojan horse. They are meant to distract attention from the central failures of the Democratic Party. They are meant to promote chaos. They have many purposes, all of which require a fictitious dishonest narrative.  

Critical Race Theory Marxism, or just plain Marxism, is the preeminent existential threat in America today. This religion seeks to end our capitalist constitutional republic dedicated to free-and-fair opportunity for all. It seeks to destroy the level playing field.     

The totalitarian mindset which banned truthful reporting at Reuters now controls almost all of major media. Big Media routinely buries stories of the greatest public interest when they undermine left-wing power. The same mindset controls major corporations, and especially Big Tech. Working in concert with major media, Big Tech routinely censors conservative voices and stories which support the conservative view.

The same mind and ideology controls the gargantuan bureaucratic federal state in Washington D.C. The Deep State manages trillions of spending authority. The Deep State governs police, prosecutors, courts, jails, and military forces of uncountable size. They are capable of inflicting extreme deadly force. They could jail tens or hundreds of thousands or millions.

The same Marxist mind controls academia, which defines and shapes the thinking of new leaders. They have begun to adopt a loyalty oath to Critical Race Theory Marxism as a pre-qualification for professors.

The leaders in all of these great fields of power must believe victory is immanent. They are just waiting for the right moment to destroy conservatives, to destroy the right, to cancel the constitution, and to seize totalitarian control. Their accumulation of power is breathtaking. The weakness of the conservatives is frightening.

The loyalty oath now spreading through higher education is the same loyalty oath that Principal Terri Jackson said would be imposed at Loyola Academy on all teachers. Her continued employment at Loyola is the most important verification that Critical Race Theory Marxism continues to run the school; even if the open revolutionary machinations of the 2020-21 school year have been forced underground.

Loyola Academy, if it fails to expel Critical Race Theory Marxism from the school, will be creating the future leaders of the totalitarian movement now committed to strangling America and abolishing freedom. It does not matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican. If you ignore this threat, you will be colluding in the creation of a tyranny. You will be advancing an ordinary but fallen state of human affairs, a demeaning state of bondage, and the condition against which the Founders declared revolution. You will be supporting, by inaction, a new age of slavery in America.

My profound fear is that you will do nothing consequential. You will not fight the most consequential battle of our lifetime. You will not even stand up for the level playing field, something you almost surely believe in. They are just waiting for the right moment to destroy conservatives, to destroy the right, to cancel the constitution, and to seize totalitarian control.        

The reforms required at Loyola Academy are simple and radical. Every administrator who supports Critical Race Theory must be fired. The effort to enact Diversity Equity and Inclusion, the training arm of Critical Race Theory, must be closed and ended. The Racism Initiative must be closed. Affirmative action must be cancelled and condemned. All theology teachers who support and advocate for Black Lives Matter, the Marxist street army of Critical Race Theory and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, must be fired.

All of these ideas and their proponents openly violate the level playing field. The spirit of their religion forbids the consideration of opposing views. They openly violate the spirit of our laws, which guarantees equal rights, and which should legally forbid the use of race or political ideology as a factor for or against admission, hiring, and firing, and should forbid the redistribution of income required to attain the goal of Critical Race Theory, the classless society, now called equity.

Any teacher committed to Marxism in the theology department is committed to the murder of God. It is true even of those teachers who cannot comprehend it or admit it. It is true even of the teachers who call themselves Catholic. It is impossible for a Marxist to call themselves Catholic when their political philosophy is dedicated to the destruction of God and family, and their religion brings to a society slavery, bankruptcy, and murder. God does not want slavery, bankruptcy, and murder for his children. God does not want to abolish the family. God does not seek his own death. Marxism and Catholicism can never fight on the same side.  

When Marxist views attain near-monopoly status among teachers, as I believe they have at Loyola, only a committed deceiver could continue to call the school religious or Christian or Catholic. Why then did the Jesuits make Loyola Academy Marxist?

Critical Race Theory Marxism is the perfect vehicle for the Jesuits to attain beatification. They can picture themselves as the holy saviors of the poor, and present that picture to the world, and worship themselves as the author and idol of that heaven. Critical Race Theory Marxism is the perfect vehicle for the Jesuits to give themselves permission to have sex with all of God’s children. There are no rules about sex in the Marxist faith. So Marxism has allowed the Jesuits to transform their order into a sex club with free room, board and spending money. To keep up appearances, they do a little community organizing and mouth commitments to social justice.

Critical Race Theory Marxism is the perfect vehicle for the Jesuits to transform their loyalty from a religion devoted to love and self-sacrifice to a religion devoted to hatred, power, violence and personal desire.

To implement the radical changes required at Loyola, whose extreme corruption derives from decades of cowardly and selfish leaders on the board and at the school, who knew that an ideological monopoly was gaining strength among teachers, who should have anticipated that it would end in the current crisis, who pretended that there was no remedy, and who pretend now that there is no crisis, the board must commit to a 20-year period of conservative leadership at Loyola. A mild remedy after decades of progressive leadership.  

The goal should be to make a school which is ideologically balanced between right and left. Both sides of a debate must have sufficient power to oppose each other in a reasonable manner, in the unending competitive quest for truth, which is one of our great purposes here on earth, which is one of the great inventions of the west, and which the Jesuits and the board and the school leaders at Loyola have destroyed by allowing an ideological monopoly among faculty.

Both progressives and conservatives on the board long ago abandoned a fundamental principle. They abandoned the requirement for viewpoint diversity among teachers and administrators. This failure has led now, at least in the theology department, and probably in all the departments, to a school filled with a faculty and staff which can only see, hear, and tolerate one opinion. Those persons who allow only one opinion embody both ignorance and totalitarian enthusiasm. In itself this commitment disqualifies them from leading and teaching in a school committed to open-and-fair argument.

Making my analysis, and your judgment, of present circumstances imperfect is our unacceptable ignorance of the facts. The ideological commitments of teachers and administrators must be known. We cannot manage ideological diversity if we don’t know the ideological commitments of the staff. Simple practices can be put into place to ensure transparency. It would take all of an hour to go from ignorance to near-perfect knowledge with a simple survey of faculty and staff. Without having exact numbers, we know the issue of ideological monopoly is acute in the theology department, as they have broadcast their beliefs, with Black Lives Matter posters displayed in their classrooms, at least in the 2020-21 school year.  

A school without viewpoint diversity among teachers is equal to a school without books and classes. It’s agenda is indoctrination, not the hard-won powers of thinking, writing, arguing, and persuading. Marxist indoctrination is Loyola’s future unless you lead a radical change.

I fear you will not have the courage or principles or commitment to pursue reform. I presume you have a private life of wealth and dedication to your family. You would understandably give them highest priority. Is it even possible for you to contemplate the personal sacrifice required for public leadership in a time of upheaval such as the time we live in now?  

Race War Marxism, commonly known as Critical Race Theory, is an evil religion. Its evil will be your legacy if you fail to expunge it. You must recognize that a line has been crossed. Think of Critical Race Theory as the moral equivalent of a curriculum leading students to a life in organized crime or professional pornography. You would not allow your child to attend a school where they were taught a life of crime. You would not allow your child to attend a school where they were prepared for work in the porn industry. You would not allow your child to attend a school dedicated to hatred of whites and the overthrow of America and its constitution, and which hides the commitment with unending euphemism. You currently serve as chairman of the board of that school.

If you care about what is right; if you believe in the Catholic Church; if you fear God; if you stand up for basic decency; if you love the American dream; if you believe in a level playing field and a colorblind society; if you believe in open-and-fair argument; then you will condemn Critical Race Theory and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. You will use all of your skills and energy to prevail in their expulsion; first at Loyola, and then, when your victory has been achieved, wherever your help is needed.  

A simple and gradualist remedy, for the coming years, is to hire conservative teachers until there is a strong competitive mix between left and right. Students and teachers at Loyola should both be devoted to debating and defending all ideologies, both right and left. Even and especially the viewpoints they disagree with. Loyola will create great leaders when it creates great writers and great debaters. A good writer can take any side of an argument and win. He can win based upon fact and logic. We must elevate viewpoint diversity, among administrators and teachers, and in classroom instruction, and in student aspirations, as an unbreakable obligation and sacred principle.

Until the necessary changes are made, I hope parents and students will oppose the current leadership of the school. I ask alumni and parents to end all financial support of Loyola, as has already been promised by a leading contributor. His objections to the ideological retardation of Loyola made him request the removal of the school’s plaque commemorating the generosity of his family. I encourage students and teachers to file written complaints with the school president and the board when they are subjected to racial and political prejudice.  

I will assist teachers and students in pursuing litigation against the school for racial and political discrimination. I ask any recent applicants for teaching and administrative positions at Loyola to contact me if they feel they have been denied employment due to any form of discrimination. We will seek to file a formal discrimination suit against the school, similar to the action taken by a teacher in the Evanston public school district.

I ask major donors to initiate litigation against Loyola for fraudulently describing itself as a Catholic school and for soliciting and accepting their money under false pretenses. If alumni-and-parent giving stops, and a sufficient number of legal cases against the school are initiated, and if parents and students object, with phone calls and letters, to the racist hatred of Critical Race Theory Marxism, then all of this together will force out the poison which has spiritually bankrupted Loyola Academy.  

My personal effort against Critical Race Theory Marxism at Loyola will not end until all of the reforms described in the God-Is-King Mandate are adopted by the board and put into practice by the school. They seek first to put God at the center of education. The second goal is an open commitment to the level playing field, a commitment that requires the abolition of Critical Race Theory, as the theory seeks the abolition of the level playing field in favor of equity. The third goal of the mandate seeks teachers and administrators of diverse ideological backgrounds. We must hire conservatives until the school achieves an ideological balance. The final goal is a school devoted to the search for truth and the daily practice by every student, in written argument and in spoken debate, of a vigorous defense of one’s position. This requires a sacrosanct commitment to the fair treatment of opposing sides, a righteous commitment outlawed under Critical Race Theory Marxism, which sees itself as the beginning and end, the Alpha and the Omega, and the sum of all knowledge.

The new president, Father Gregory Ostdiek, should make a formal written commitment to the mandate. He must commit to clearing the school of Critical Race Theory; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; affirmative action, Black Lives Matter and all of their proponents and derivatives. If he refuses the commitment; he should be fired. A new leader, committed to ending all the Marxist programs at Loyola, and committed to reintroducing the Catholic faith, must be given the authority to act, with broad authority to hire and fire.

After the mandate is adopted, and the reforms are put into place, the changes will have the side effect of making Loyola Academy an intellectual and spiritual powerhouse. Our students will come to be known for their ability to write, think, and argue. They will therefore have critical powers required for any true leader. They will boldly venture forward to serve in the four corners of the world. They will be made strong by the privilege and power of loving God with all of their heart, all of their mind and all of their soul. They will be made unbreakable by virtue of the incomparable privilege they will carry within them – God’s love for each and every one of his children.

I pray you will find the intelligence, the independence, the principles, and the courage to lead Loyola Academy away from the vile hatred and ruthless sociopathic goal of Critical Race Theory Marxism. Lead our children back to reverence for America. Teach them to pledge allegiance to our great country. Lead our children back to love of their parents. Teach them to honor their mother and father. Lead our children, by your courageous example, into the heavenly power of serving God.

I speak for the great glory of He who is most high. I speak by the power of the Father and his Son. The Holy Spirit writes my words. My guide is unlimited awe. I am filled, far past measurement, by the grandeur of God’s final victory, glorious and unending, now and forever.

God has only one commandment for us now, Mr. Walsh. Fight, crush and destroy the leaders of evil. They are all around you, but you must open your eyes to see.

The God-Is-King Mandate is summarized in this essay. This essay is part five of a six-part series explaining Critical Race Theory. The mandate outlines reforms proposed for Loyola Academy, a Jesuit high school, in Wilmette, Illinois. The mandate is available for review here.

• Ban the use of Critical Race Theory in teaching. Cancel the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiative. Cancel the "Confronting Racism" initiative. Fire all administrators hired for DEI. Racism is not a serious problem at Loyola Academy, but a fictitious pretext for imposing Critical Race Theory. Critical Race Theory is Race War Marxism, and Race War Marxism is a very real crisis at Loyola. If racism was the problem at Loyola, the last thing you would want to introduce is Critical Race Theory, to set students against each other based on their race. The board must immediately change course 180 degrees. We must dedicate Loyola to colorblind and genderblind admissions and hiring. We must ban all affirmative action except to achieve viewpoint diversity. We must teach students a colorblind philosophy on race. Make the teachings of Martin Luther King, and the victories of the civil rights movement, the guide for analysis of racism, and the guide for reforms to end prejudice. Return the school to a colorblind philosophy and reinforce the cherished beliefs held by 95% or 99% of parents and alumni.   

• Hire an independent consultant to investigate and describe the curriculum at Loyola especially in theology, social studies, English, and history. Measure the viewpoint score of all teachers and administrators so that a clear picture can be drawn of the ideological makeup of the leaders and teachers. Publish the viewpoint score of all teachers and administrators in a public database (Use the Pew survey of political beliefs to see how easy it is to measure an individual’s political beliefs.). Shed light on the ideological viewpoint of the Loyola staff so that leaders and the board and parents will know when viewpoint commitments are balanced; or completely out of balance, as they are now.

• Commit to obtaining viewpoint diversity among teachers and administrators by 2035. Note: Balanced viewpoint diversity is a 50/50 distribution of progressive and conservative, left and right.

• Interim Measure: Make available to parents all Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion resources and materials used in the training of teachers and staff. Describe all changes in the curriculum and in the instruction of students deriving from the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion project. Make all class materials public. Allow students to record classes. Prioritize transparency. (Source: KidsWin)

• Interim Measure: Create a permanent role for parents in the diversity, equity and inclusion and curriculum committees. (Source: KidsWin)

• Provide a formal written method of complaint for students and parents when either are subjected to prejudicial treatment in the classroom or by school administrators based on their race or political views.

• Hire a conservative president and maintain a conservative leader for 20 years or until viewpoint diversity has been achieved among administrators and teachers.

• Commit to creating a school devoted to vigorous debate on all issues. Bring a new emphasis on writing and argument into the curriculum. Students should spend a minimum of one hour every school day writing. Teach students to research. Teach students to argue. Teach students to defend their views. Teach students to defend the views they personally oppose. Make students who are courageous and powerful in their use of words and argument. Teach students to debate so that they will be capable of leading. Make public debate a daily part of life at school. Make debate a competitive enterprise, with financial commitments equal to what is given to major sports. Make writing, open debate and viewpoint diversity signature strengths of Loyola Academy.

• Require all students to take a course in 20^th Century government-sponsored murder, totalitarian governments, and left-wing ideology. Emphasize the fate of tens of millions of citizens killed, not in war, but by their own Marxist government, which opposed dissenting opinion with imprisonment and murder. Emphasize especially the regimes of Stalin and Mao. Clarify how these great psychopathic murderers were empowered and deified by the “social-justice” promises of Marxism.   

• Teach and encourage students to live by traditional views on family and sex, male and female, love and marriage. Ban the use of all teaching which fails to uphold the traditional view of male and female, family, sex, and love. Ban the use of “new” pronouns. Ban the use of gender categories other than male and female. Teach students how to practice the Catholic faith. Encourage students to pursue love, marriage, sex, and children -- in that order. Every day at school a student should pray, attend mass, read the Bible, and do good works. Teach students to live for the glory of God. Teach students to make Catholicism the center of their life. Teach them the greatness of religious faith. Teach students that they have a unique God-given purpose which only their work can fulfill. Teach each student to love God with all of their heart, all of their mind, and all of their soul.

America sleepwalks into a totalitarian nightmare.

A study of totalitarian movements summarizes their method to incite revolution. They follow a four-step process: 1. Impose a history emphasizing a group’s oppression. 2. Prove the oppression by listing inequalities. 3. Characterize dialogue as ineffective since the dominant oppressor group seeks to retain power. 4. Demand violence to remedy the social injustice.[i]

“These four tenets … are common to many of the most brutal massacres and regimes of the 20th century, from the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany to communist China and the Rwandan genocide.”[ii]

This pattern of advancing a totalitarian society describes perfectly the plans and goals in the United States of the Race War Marxists, who hide behind the unknowable Critical Race Theory, and who wear the friendly face of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. 

“In each case, an entire class of society is painted as unfairly privileged and as such inherently oppressive, with little regard to specific actions of the individual members of the group. Meanwhile, disagreement with or mere disinterest in this classification is taken as support for the perceived oppression. With reconciliation through dialog taken off the table, the only remaining recourse is conflict—a ‘revolutionary’ action where violence is seen as inevitable and, ultimately, preferable.”[iii]

Dividing a population into oppressor groups and oppressed groups gives revolutionary leaders great power to speak and act on behalf of the oppressed. For revolutionary leaders, grounded in a sociopathic personality, it’s a wonderland and a dream come true.

“You can do nearly anything.”[iv]

The changes sweeping across America are frightening because the people capable of advancing to the top rungs of revolutionary movements are cruel by nature. Their true ambition is destruction, hiding behind loud calls for social justice.

“The key thing you notice about social revolutionaries,” said a writer who has spent the last two years in virtual meetings and group chats of far-left protest groups in England, “is that their first instinct is always to destroy. These are not people who want to make our society better through reform or debate. Fundamentally, they believe our society is sick and incapable of reform in its current state. Their sole intent — whatever the “surface-level” issue is that they happen to be bleating about at the time — is to tear down this society and replace it with something else.”[v]

The quintessential Marxist, Vladimir Lenin, the mastermind of the Soviet founding, said a revolutionary has his own morality which is completely alien to ordinary conceptions of right and wrong. What is good for the Marxist is any action promoting the revolution. Any action is good if it destroys “the old exploiting society.”[vi] Dishonesty and crime are honorable if they weaken the oppressors. Marxists use the rules of war during a time of peace. They started to employ the rules of war in America probably at the same time they successfully seized power in Russia in 1917. To employ deceit is to embody perfection for a Marxist. They have had 100 years of practice. Critical Race Theory is the perfected incarnation of Marxism after 100 years of trial-and-error.

“In The Education of Lev Kopelev, the memoir of a Russian Communist who later became a dissident, Kopelev recalled that along ‘with the rest of my generation, I firmly believed that the ends justified the means. Our great goal was the universal triumph of communism, and for the sake of that goal everything was permissible—to lie, to steal, to destroy hundreds of thousands and even millions of people, all those who were hindering our work or who could hinder it, everyone who stood in the way.’”[vii]

The criminal justice system in a Marxist society follows an unexpected logic. An individual is guilty of crimes by virtue of being in the oppressor class. The most honest and principled person, with flawless conduct, is guilty if he is in the class the Marxist revolutionaries seek to imprison. Actions do not determine guilt or the need for punishment. Members in an oppressor group are guilty. Whites, under Critical Race Theory Marxism, are guilty. They are born with whiteness. They must be destroyed. If the Critical Race Theory Marxists are successful, whites will be stripped of wealth, imprisoned, or even killed.

“Martyn Latsis, an official of the Cheka, Lenin’s secret police, in a 1918 instruction to interrogators, wrote: ‘We are not waging war against individuals. We are exterminating the bourgeoisie as a class . . . Do not look for evidence that the accused acted in word or deed against Soviet power. The first question should be to what class does he belong . . . It is this that should determine his fate.’”[viii]

If Race War Marxism wins enough power in America, the proponents will adopt crime as a necessary method of justice. We know this without question. They already have applied crime as a means to support their revolutionary ambition.  

Antifa and Black Lives Matter led billions of dollars of looting and property destruction in the Summer 2020 riots. More than 650 protests included violence, assaults on police, vandalism or looting. At least 25 died in the protests.[ix] Conservatives watched in puzzled wonder, shocked and failing to comprehend why blue-city leaders failed to arrest violent criminal protestors.

What they failed to see is that criminal protests are outstanding first steps as Marxist revolutionary acts against whiteness. They are nonsensical outside of the ambitions of Critical Race Theory Marxism and its dream of a race war and destruction. Defunding of the police is sought to give revolutionaries freedom to destroy the oppressor society.

For many decades now, going back at least 60 years, to the publication of Suicide of the West in 1964, observers have said America, based on the ambitions of the left, is trying to take its own life. Is trying to destroy itself. Civil war has been openly considered a real threat in recent years——. The idea of dividing America into a red country and a separate blue country has gained in popularity.

“If the antiwhite fanatics carry the day and erase white society from the book of life, they take themselves with it in what will be remembered as the great suicide of the West. If this is resisted and avoided, it will most likely require a degree of ugliness as yet unimagined. Either way, the great epoch of ideology will not end well.”[x]

Those who wish to fight to save America must assume that the far left will employ the most barbaric methods in pursuing power. We are no longer in an era of reasoned debate. We are in an era of non-violent war by other means, and violence can be added into the war at any time.

Lenin, the genius of the Soviet revolution, provides an honest warning of the kind of people who conservatives must meet, oppose and destroy in this epic battle.   

“We must be ready to employ trickery, deceit, law-breaking, withholding and concealing truth…We can and must write in a language which sows among the masses hate, revulsion, and scorn toward those who disagree with us.”[xi]

In academia, the left has pushed, for many decades, the idea that there is no objective truth. This allows those who hold power on the left to dictate what is true without the need for evidence. Truth is created by those who have the power to impose truth. Persuasion is used in a democracy. Persuasion is disgusting and primitive to the totalitarian left. They are the truth and the light and must not be questioned.

“When someone says there is no objective reality, what he means is that he intends to exercise power over you, and no facts or arguments you might present will dissuade him,”[xii] wrote John Hinderaker, president of the Center for the American Experiment and editor of Powerline.

We are converging with critical tipping points. It is impossible to believe that our currency will not fail when national debt has gone far past the rule-of-thumb breaking point – when government debt is greater than 100% of gross domestic product.

We currently have a $23 trillion economy and $28 trillion of national debt. The debt figure excludes the debts of social security and Medicare. When all federal debts are combined, the total national debt is estimated to exceed $200 trillion, meaning the $23 trillion spending limit has been obliterated, putting the United States and the dollar far beyond repair.   

The destruction of the dollar is predicted by a cyclical theory of history. Democracies fail, by this theory, when voters elect politicians who send voters money. The years 2020, 2021 and 2022 have all featured a gusher of government spending. It is a great way to buy votes and destroy a currency. If you destroy a currency, you destroy a government. You initiate anarchy and invite civil war.

The destruction of the dollar is probably intentional. Huge fortunes will be made in bets against the dollar by a tiny number of individuals who somehow find the right timing. After the fall of the dollar, tens of millions in America will suffer through extreme poverty. Billions all around the world will endure a new poverty, setting the world back twenty or thirty years, as the dollar’s destruction goes global, initiating a depression of unprecedented magnitude.

Alexander Fraser Tytler, a judge, writer, and historian in the early 19th Century, provides a summary of the life cycle of a democracy and its currency. He predicts our future.  

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.”[xiii]

The generation of wealth, something that generations have worked for, can destroy meaning and morality for those who inherit what they did not build. The inheritors may have no appreciation for the blood, sweat and tears which created wealth. The inheritors may perceive themselves as unnecessary and second rate. They will hate the world for making them unimportant. Until they discover that revolution will make them important.  

The Christian writer Rod Dreher sees Race War Marxism, commonly referred to as Critical Race Theory, as having the power to break us.

“This leftist neoracist philosophy our corrupt elites have embraced is going to destroy our society by legitimizing racial tribalism.”[xiv]

The left controls so many levers of power. They have silenced many who object. In the fight initiated against Loyola Academy, the subject of this six-part series, with two formal groups organized to fight Critical Race Theory, I have not seen one adult publicly identify themselves as a leader of the opposition. The KidsWinLoyola website has no names listed. The Concerned Parents and Alumni of Loyola Academy is listed on Facebook as a private group.

Fear is the explanation for this anonymity. Fear has been normalized among parents who know something terrible has gone wrong at Loyola, but those parents lack the principles and determination required for serious reform. Their private lives and positions have a greater priority. Those of us who grew up in prosperity cannot fathom the risk taken by the Founding Fathers, who jeopardized life and fortune for their commitment to freedom. We are beginning now to understand their heroic courage.    

“’People are afraid to speak honestly,’ said a doctor who immigrated to the U.S. from the Soviet Union, speaking not of Loyola, but of the political climate in the medical field. ‘It’s like back to the USSR, where you could only speak to the ones you trust.’ If the authorities found out (what you said), you could lose your job, your status, you could go to jail or worse. The fear here is not dissimilar.”[xv]

Having never lived through a revolution, Americans may only recognize the fallen state of the nation when the time to act has been lost. Professor Victor Davis Hanson, the preeminent public historian, who allows us to see the present in the patterns of the past, wonders if too many of us are failing to see what is happening all around us.

“In 1961, Cubans were not quite aware that they were experiencing a Marxist takeover. Nor were Russians fully cognizant in 1917 of the plans that the Bolsheviks had for them over the next few decades. It is hard to see during anarchy, chaos, and collapsing institutions that leftists still have an agenda for what will emerge on the other side. In other words, we are in the midst of a revolutionary epoch and probably most don't even know it.”[xvi]

Any reasonable account of the 20th Century marks the Marxist Russian revolution of 1917 as the beginning of “the greatest catastrophe in human history.”[xvii] The Russian revolution marks the starting point for what led to the deaths of somewhere between 100 million to over 200 million people murdered by Marxist governments.[xviii]

“There is a tendency for the most brutal and unscrupulous people to rise to the top because they are the types who are willing to take the necessary steps to seize power and who prize the kind of absolute power that socialism promises. Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, and Pol Pot—these were not the kinds of people one might have encountered in faculty lounges or middle-class town meetings. They were blackguards and thugs one and all, thuggishness being the key attribute for rising to the top in a movement in which power went to those willing to experiment with the most extreme measures.”[xix]

The slavery and murder flowering from the Russian revolution runs from Eastern Europe and China to Cuba and North Korea, through Vietnam and Cambodia.

“The evidence for its malignant effects is obvious to anyone with sufficient curiosity to look at the historical record. The socialist movement has been responsible for the murder, imprisonment, and torture of many millions, and perhaps hundreds of millions, of innocent people during its heyday in the twentieth century.”[xx]

“While communists and socialists have not had a monopoly on democide (when a government murders its citizens), these movements … have been responsible for far more political killings in the modern era than any other political movement or form of government.”[xxi]

The political scientist Rudolph Rummel devoted his life to counting citizens murdered by their own government. He estimated that Marxist governments killed as many as 260 million people in the 20th century. Compare your impression and knowledge of 260 million murdered by Marxists versus your awareness of six million Jews killed by Nazis.[xxii]

Using basic math, your hatred of Marxists should be 43 times greater than your hatred of Nazis. If you are like most Americans, you have only a vague awareness of Marxist crimes, if you have any at all. Big Media and higher education have successfully censored the greatest crime in human history.  

Marxist governments follow a pattern in managing a country which prepares the way for crimes against their citizens. First their economies fail. Then leaders blame the failure on an opposition group. The dissidents are arrested and, as the economy falls further, the murder begins. Murder is effective political policy when you seek to frighten everyone into silent assent.  

“When there arose shortages of food or housing or military equipment—when socialist policies failed—leaders were faced with a choice of admitting failure and abandoning the socialist path or doubling down on their policies and preserving their power. It was in their nature to choose the latter course, and thus to press forward with more extreme measures, which typically involved the identification of scapegoats and counter-revolutionary elements as causes of failure. From here it was but a few steps to the catastrophic outcomes described above: show trials, terror famines, mass starvation, cultural revolutions, ‘killing fields,’ and democide.”[xxiii]

At first, perhaps, we could all believe this would never happen in America. The design of the constitution counteracts the menace of concentrated power, the darkest force in human civilization. Now we see a ruling elite, which glorifies concentrated power and is contemptuous of the constitution and ordinary people, can overrule words written on a piece of paper. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is obviously illegal if discrimination in hiring based upon race, sex, or sexual orientation is illegal. 

Race War Marxism, which demonizes whites, which goes by the name Critical Race Theory, and which presents itself publicly as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, is the reigning religion of Big Tech, higher education, Big Corporate, the Deep State, the foundations, Big Media, the blue states, and K-12 public schools. They own everything in America. The radical left owns everything, except about 50% of the population, and a few critical state governments.

If the left succeeds and wins absolute control in America, conservatives can anticipate, a “brutal campaign of state-sponsored murder, torture, and persecution.”[xxiv] This is what Marxists do when they seize undivided control of a country.  

“The question is often asked: why does the same thing happen over and over in socialist regimes? Socialist plans and policies—five-year plans repeated again and again, collectivization of agriculture, nationalization of industry, the concentration of power into the hands of a few—lead inevitably to economic collapse, repression, large-scale killing, and democide. It has happened according to script wherever socialism has been tried. Socialism always and everywhere begins with humanistic promises and ends in barbarism.”[xxv]

The Marxist crimes of the 20th Century are the greatest human failures. America has taken many big steps to repeat those failures. Even if there is only a one-in-ten chance we will go full-scale Marxist, the risk we have already taken on is far too great for a country founded on respect for the individual.

“The record speaks for itself: socialism is a hate crime, a doctrine of tyranny, mass murder, and human suffering on a vast scale.” [xxvi]

We are in greater danger than we believe. Tens of millions are spiritually homeless after the fall of Christian faith. They believe nothing. They will believe anything. Their parents are empty souls incapable of passing on the meaning in life. The promise of a perfect world after an inspired revolution fought for the oppressed has won a big audience for those who are lost and have no religious purpose. A true believer in the socialist dream makes themself the savior of the world simply by embracing the Marxist fraud. For a lost and angry person, this is a beautiful religion, and a great escape from self-hatred and emptiness.

Experts on totalitarian ideology say the Marxist faithful are so devoted to their religion that they would rather die than admit they are wrong. The sudden adoption of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training, the mass indoctrination effort employed by Critical Race Theory; first in companies, and now in schools, is a step-by-step repetition of the ruthless plans for the seizure of power which Marxists employ when they win control of a society.

“What (has) made this secular religion (Marxism) so utterly lethal was its seizure of all the state's instruments of force and coercion and their immediate use to destroy or control all independent sources of power, such as the church, the professions, private businesses, schools, and, of course, the family.”[xxvii]

Loyola Academy is already one of the “independent sources of power” which has been brought into the Marxist fold. Students have been taught that an end to whiteness must be the first priority of American society. They have been taught that all whites are sociopathic. They have been taught that capitalism and white supremacy are pandemic conditions which must be eradicated. 

White students have been asked to confirm and admit that they are the beneficiaries of all the crimes of history. They have been asked to apologize for their criminal history by renouncing their whiteness and its racist privileges. If they want to escape their whiteness, and join the side of good, they are free to join the side of the oppressed by declaring themselves a special-category victim.

The most popular victim category today for white girls is a transgender identification. If a girl says she is a boy, she makes herself an object of veneration. The vile nature of her whiteness is washed away. Teachers at Loyola ask students for their pronouns and how they “identify.” This is not an innocent exercise.

The teachers are encouraging their students to defect from whiteness, a world which includes the basic truths of male and female, and into the madness of Critical Race Theory Marxism, which you know by the name Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Teachers are grooming their students. They are leading them into a sexual maze so that they will be incapable of thinking for themselves. The teachers hope to make a Marxist radical whose pathology will confine them to a life of sexual obsession, “social Justice,” and revolution.

This psychopathic view of the world can only be defeated by courageous and ambitious opposition, including firing everybody who supports Critical Race Theory; firing everybody who supports Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; and firing everybody who supports Black Liver Matter; which are all names and branches of the same movement. That movement is Race War Marxism, which is, at present, the highest incarnation in this world of the hatred of God.

Only drastic action will save Loyola Academy, but there is no audience for this work. Nobody cares enough to right the wrong and begin the systemic reform required to initiate the school’s return to making students into men and women for God -- a job the Jesuits, the Catholic priests who run the school, have sworn off at least since the 70s, when I attended Loyola.

If my high school predicts the fate of America, Marxism, the religion which rules with slavery, bankruptcy, and murder; the religion which detests the family, worships the murder of God and idolizes hatred of life; the religion which dreams of suicide on a grand scale -- Marxism will rule us all.

My suggestion is to enjoy your privileges while you have them. They are scheduled for confiscation under the new regime. When they are taken from you, you will be made to love their loss. Your life and work, your God and your family, will no longer be your own. Everything you think of as yourself will belong to the state. That is where you will find true glory as men and women for others. You will act, not by your free will, the great gift of God to man, but at the command of your “social justice” superiors. They will know the way for you to act and what you should do. They will be happy to guide you through slavery.

Parents who organized to fight Critical Race Theory at Loyola discovered a YouTube presentation given by Terri Jackson. She is assistant principal for student services at Loyola.[1]

Mrs. Jackson vows to force out of Loyola all teachers who fail to support Critical Race Theory, which is best summarized as Race War Marxism, and which goes by the name of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion when it is brought into schools and businesses.

“When it comes to the work in the classroom … (we are) not having a conversation (with the teacher where we say something) like: 'Is this the right place for you? Based on your participation (in Critical Race Theory), or lack thereof,’” said Mrs. Jackson. “But people (teachers) are starting to say (to themselves): 'Well, if this is who we are, is this the place for me?' The thinking that is not in connection with, or not in support of, DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) work, is, (it) will become marginalized.”[2]

Mrs. Jackson describes how Loyola should create a faculty of uniform ideology who support Critical Race Theory Marxism. She is proud of having a management system for building a one-party thought cult among teachers without having to fire teachers who fail to support Marxism. 

“This is a serious conversation. This is not an initiative that is going away next year. This is the community. This is who we are. So that is where folks are moving is: Instead of me having to have a conversation with someone (a teacher), about not renewing a contract, they are starting to internalize: 'OK, so maybe this is not the right fit for me.'”[3]

Teachers at Loyola who fail to support Critical Race Theory Marxism will learn they are not welcome. Mrs. Jackson says she will force out dissenters without explicitly firing them. Her goal, and the school’s goal, is a Marxist monopoly among faculty and administrators.

Mrs. Jackson’s comments mirrored the thoughts of an eighth-grade teacher in Portland, Oregon. They sounded, in fact, like the same person, but the teacher in Portland spoke more freely about the necessity for supporting Race War Marxism and the need to purge dissenters.

The Portland teacher compared teachers who fail to adopt “antiracism,” a summary of Critical Race Theory, to sex offenders. The Portland teacher warns those who are slow to adapt: “If you’re going to keep with those old views of colonialism, it’s going to lead to being fired.”[4] "If you're not evolving into an anti-racist educator, you're making yourself obsolete."[5] "You're going to have to come to the light."[6]

If a teacher does not support Critical Race Theory Marxism, the teacher will be fired “because you will be doing damage to our children. … (just) as we fire the teachers who sexually abuse our children, we will be firing the teachers who do racist things to our children."[7]  

In our new world, teachers have only one option on Critical Race Theory Marxism. "You either evolve or dissolve."[8]

Mrs. Jackson, the Loyola principal, said dissenting teachers who are forced out of the school for failing to embrace Race War Marxism, will rightly suffer this payback. Their loss of work is just revenge which minority students of the past would have wanted to inflict upon the conservative teachers had students been able to come forward at that time.

“It's past time for that to happen for our students (for teachers who oppose Marxism to lose their jobs). Because for so long our students and our families have had to say: ‘Ok, I don't feel accepted. I don't feel like I belong. I am not celebrated here. I can't bring my authentic self. I need to find a new community.’ And that shouldn't be the case.”[9]

Teachers will be forced out of Loyola, in part, to make up for past harms minority students suffered. This is a fulfillment at Loyola Academy of Ibram X. Kendi’s requirement that past discrimination must be punished with present discrimination. Mr. Kendi is the leading proponent in America of Critical Race Theory Marxism.

“The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination,” wrote Mr. Kendi, the author of How to Be an Antiracist. “The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.”[10]

Teachers who lose their job for opposing Critical Race Theory will suffer a just result for a past wrong. New teachers, who swear to support the Marxist program, will be hired to teach students in the new religion.

Mrs. Jackson worries that Loyola may be forced to hire white teachers. She prefers minority candidates. “How do we steer away from just hiring more white folks who are doing DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) work?”[11] she said.  

“As I am hiring a dean of students, I will not look at the resumes until we have a diverse pool. We have not done our work if we don't have a diverse pool of candidates.”[12] A diverse pool appears to mean a pool which excludes white candidates. 

“Are we hiring for diverse candidates or are we hiring for the best candidate?” Mrs. Jackson said. “The answer is 'yes' and 'yes'.”[13]

The plain interpretation of her words is that the best candidate can only be a non-white candidate. If you are hiring for “diverse candidates”, then you exclude white candidates. Mrs. Jackson says this is justified because minority students need to have “faculty members who look like them, who come from similar backgrounds and experiences.”[14] White students also benefit, she says. “It is connected to our mission,” she said. “It is what is best for our student population, our school community at large.”[15]

If Loyola is using affirmative action in hiring, it is fulfilling the plan of Critical Race Theory Marxism to fundamentally transform American society. Affirmative action in all fields is a first step required by Critical Race Theory Marxism. Higher taxes for increased redistribution of wealth is another step. Reparations is another goal. Marxist revolution to end capitalism is the final and true goal. These are the goals of the advocates of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

The story of Critical Race Theory at Loyola Academy hit the world’s biggest news sites at the end of March 2021. The Daily Mail[16] and Fox News[17] weighed in. A lot of attention centered on a few questions posed by a theology teacher, Peter Jansen. The questions sought to initiate students into adapting Critical Race Theory as their religion, but the purpose of the questions was hidden from the students.

Here are the questions:

Question one: "How do you benefit from white privilege, and how have you held onto that benefit (despite knowing the harm it does)?”[18]

Question two: “What have you learned about the ways you specifically wield this privilege that do harm (whether you intend to or not)? Dig deep. No sugar coating and no focusing on the good you have done with your privilege. Remember: this isn't about being self-congratulatory, it's about pulling out white supremacy.”[19]

Question three: “What have you learned about your white privilege that makes you uncomfortable?”[20]

Fox News said in its headline: “Chicagoland Prep School Loyola shames White Privilege in student assignment.”[21] The Daily Mail said: “Illinois prep school that costs $18k a year faces backlash for assignment asking students to describe how they've benefited from white privilege 'despite knowing its harm.'”[22]

A student who has led the fight opposing Critical Race Theory Marxism at Loyola described to me their objections to the questions:

“Students that are white are being taught that because they are white they are automatically privileged,” said the student, “contribute to the oppression of minorities and white supremacy, and are inherently racially biased. That is racism”[23] against whites.

The student, who asked to remain anonymous, said the teacher and the school engaged in an anti-white racist practice when they categorized white students in a demeaning light by virtue of their skin color. The questions encourage what we now know to be the goal of Critical Race Theory Marxist schools: To shame white students into hatred of themselves, their parents, America, capitalism and God.

“The goals of CRT are to annihilate the souls of white people, to morally paralyze them via a protracted process of induced guilt, shame, embarrassment, and extortion,”[24] said Jason Hill, a philosophy professor at DePaul University in Chicago, who has been studying Critical Race Theory for 25 years.

Students are immersed into a “death agenda” which offers a “final solution” to white students: “Communism is the grand elixir,” said Professor Hill, “for all the maladies they and their ancestors inflicted upon a competitor race.”[25] The systemic racism of whites, say the Critical Race Theory Marxists, is the central failure of America. Marxist revolution is the cure.

A theme of Loyola’s new religion is found in the work of Jacqueline Battalora. She gave a lecture to the Boys Youth Group at Loyola on “the complexities of what it means to be white within a nation that imposed whiteness as a matter of founding law.” Dr. Battalora teaches that our system of law is how whites impose supremacy over minorities. She says whiteness is the greatest problem in American society.   

Dr. Battalora’s “historical approach” in analyzing whiteness helps whites “to remove defensiveness” and encourages them “to be motivated for transformation,”[26] meaning they will be motivated to support Critical Race Theory Marxism, meaning they will be committed to revolution and the destruction of American constitutional government.

Dr. Battalora “makes absolutely clear the impact that whiteness has had on all people living in the United States.”[27] The impact of whiteness has not been positive. The American system says whites are human beings and people of color are subhuman.

She describes this “fact” as the beginning of her intellectual life journey in Critical Race Theory Marxism. Her intellectual journey started when she reacted unequally to news broadcasts of white and black homicides.

“When I first had that realization of my lack of empathy (for black victims), I knew from that very first moment, I knew I was not born that way. I knew that something had been done to me.”[28]

Professor Battalora says she was indoctrinated into a prejudice which makes non-whites subhuman. She says all whites are indoctrinated into this hatred of minorities.  

Since all whites share a lack of empathy for minorities, and this is a core belief, whiteness must be eradicated. Ending whiteness must now be our primary project. The only way the racist treatment of non-whites “will end is if we tackle whiteness at its core.”[29]

Dr. Battalora says the history of the United States is like a game of Monopoly. Whites, before ending slavery, and prior to the passage of civil rights laws, “get to go around the board, I don't know, 10 times before you (blacks) are allowed to play.”[30]

“Whose going to win that game?” asked Dr. Battalora. “I am, of course. Because when I went around that board 10 times when you were held back, guess what I did? ... I established every institution of this nation, from lending to housing to education to Hollywood, you name it, law and law enforcement, I established white people .... set up these institutions for people who looked like me by people who looked like me for the advantage of people who are racially like me.”[31]

“Just because you (blacks) finally got to start playing the game in no way made us equal. Until I repair you for the inequality that exclusion created, that inequality will only persist. And that's exactly what we are seeing in the present moment. ... The inequality that prohibitive laws created persists. ... Whiteness matters”[32] and is the decisive factor in the continuation of a world where there is rich and poor, where there is financial inequality, where there are differences of wealth between blacks and whites.

The gist of Dr. Battalora’s message is that whites are sociopathic toward minorities and only reparations can cure America of the white supremacy guaranteed by our laws and justice system.

The influence of radical left commitments is not difficult to find at Loyola Academy. One test given to students said there are 72 different genders. Another teacher gave an assignment which asked participants to rate the warmth and competence of members of roughly 30 different groups.

The groups included Feminists, Jews, African Americans, Businesswomen, Elderly, Lesbians, Disabled Persons, Drug Addicts, and Christians. Rating all of these different groups is an exercise in Critical Identity Theory, where the division of students into race groups explodes outward into dozens of oppressed groups.   

In another assignment, a teacher described the January 6th protest of the 2020 election as “an act of white supremacy and white nationalism.”[33] The teacher argued that the white students at Loyola share the same thoughts and inclinations as the protestors. "We can't separate ourselves from the people who do these things,” the teacher wrote. “We're a product of the same 'water' as them."[34]

The teacher wants students to see the protestors as white supremacists, and to see themselves as the same as the protestors. This encourages students to be ashamed of themselves because of their race, which is the first phase of indoctrination into Critical Race Theory Marxism.

The teacher said the January 6th protest was a “domestic terrorist attack”[35] and could not be compared in any way with the Black Lives Matter protests.

Conservatives see the January 6th protest as a protest of election fraud with a small group of several hundred who engaged in a criminal riot. They see the Black Lives Matter protests as far more consequential in terms of property damage, violence, and mob crime.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa did $1 to $2 billion of insured damage in just the first two weeks after George Floyd’s death, making them the most expensive riots in history.[36] Trump protestors did about $1.5 million of damage at the Capitol. It is impossible to argue that a group which did $1.5 million of damage in one protest are domestic terrorists and that a group which organized over 650 criminal protests[37] causing billions of dollars of damage are not domestic terrorists, but that is the argument of a Loyola teacher and the Marxist left.  

Antifa and BLM protestors assaulted more than 2,000 police officers. Even when looters were given a free pass to steal without consequence in the summer 2020 riots, police still made over 16,000 arrests.

Yet a teacher at Loyola Academy argues all whites are domestic terrorists and white supremacists because of the actions of a few hundred protestors in one event.   

“When a teacher/person of authority is teaching their opinion as a fact, it is very hard for students who may not be super aware of what is happening in the country or government to decipher what is fact vs what is a viewpoint/opinion,” said a Loyola student who opposed Critical Race Theory. “Many, if not all, high school students are beginning to form their values and their opinions on different issues in politics and the social world. It is insanely manipulative for a person of authority to act as though their opinion is the truth to a bunch of kids trying to figure out their own independent thoughts on important issues.”[38]

A Loyola parent who is a police officer recalled in a letter to Father McGrath, the president of Loyola, listening in to a Zoom call. It was on the subject of a school club, probably a request for a Turning Point USA chapter.

“The issue as to whether the club was or was not allowed wasn't of as much importance to me as what I kept hearing kid after kid saying in the meeting,” the parent wrote. “They didn't feel comfortable in their own school. They couldn't express their thoughts in their own school. They couldn't ask questions or have discussions in their own school. Whether you agree with the club or not, you cannot ignore that there are tons of kids who are NOT comfortable at their OWN school!"'[39]

The graphic design syllabus at Loyola Academy describes how white Americans stole the land where the school is located. White students are asked in graphic design class to confess to responsibility for events which are hundreds of years old.

"I want to acknowledge that the (class) space certainly occupies stolen land from our indigenous brothers and sisters of the Potawatomi Tribe who stewarded this land for generations,” the syllabus says. “Indigenous people are still with us. Anywhere we go in Illinois is a reminder of colonization and occupation of first nation people."[40]

Here again we see the school indoctrinating students into Critical Race Theory Marxism by encouraging hatred for the history of their race and their country.

Colleen Aufderheide, who is the Fine Arts Director at Loyola, said of her art classes:

"The goal is to ensure equity, diversity and inclusion happen in our curriculum, classes, and programs. This essential process will take time and the Fine Arts Department commits to the hard work ahead.”[41]

The magic of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, which is the public face of Critical Race Theory Marxism in schools, businesses and government, will allow the students to obtain “self-discovery and achieve their creative expressive potential.”[42] Beauty and truth were once the high goals of art. Now white shame is the primary lesson plan for art class, which can only be forgiven by Marxist revolution.

A Catholic art teacher, or an art teacher who loves the Western tradition, would be committed to “the hard work ahead” of studying 20 centuries of artistic works of great genius depicting God and the saints he inspired.     

David Stovall, a professor of black studies at the University of Illinois Chicago, and a lecturer to the Boys Youth Group at Loyola Academy, taught students that America is “operating under three pandemics. So it's not just COVID. But we are also talking about the pandemic of white supremacy. And the pandemic of capitalism.”[43]

Critical Race Theory Marxism requires us to end the pandemics of white supremacy and capitalism. Whiteness is the great evil in America. Whiteness at “its foundations is genocide, slavery, and wrongful land appropriation. … Now that's not Stovall's conjecture,” said Professor Stovall. “That's the fact.”[44] 

The whiteness of America requires that “we reverse this thing”[45] with Marxist revolution.

Two parent groups initiated calls for reform against the intolerance of alternative viewpoints at Loyola.

“Parents and alumni started hearing, many for the first time, that students at Loyola were being silenced, marginalized, and in some cases bullied for their beliefs,”[46] said the KidsWinLoyola site.

A June 2021 email to Concerned Parents and Alumni said there is a "crisis occurring at the school over their adoption of a singular, secular identity ideology called Critical Race Theory into their curriculum. This divisive approach to confronting racism divides students, once united by their love of Loyola, by skin color, gender, and race."[47]

The KidsWinLoyola group said: “We believe Loyola Academy’s recent aggressive adoption of an intolerant Identity Curriculum has created a growing crisis in the school. The presentation, method and tone of this curriculum, to the exclusion of any other alternative approaches, conflicts with the Jesuit tradition of rigorous open inquiry and discernment.”[48]

The big issues of our day "can be tackled in a constructive manner at Loyola, by encouraging balanced debate, not by pitting one student against another, one group against another and certainly not by employing a curriculum that shames students."[49]

Concerned Parents & Alumni leaders conducted surveys of parents and received back an avalanche of reports of fear, exclusion, bullying, and intolerance. The parents say dissent, the lifeblood of academic excellence, is unwelcome at Loyola.

"My child and I don't speak up because we are afraid of how it will affect us at Loyola and in the community."[50] "The cyber/social media bullying of kids with alternative (conservative) viewpoints is out of control.”[51] "We stopped complaining so we could just get through this year and get out of here."[52]

Students are learning to think only what they are told to think. They are learning that school is where you obey commands. School is not a place to ask questions or learn to make arguments supported by facts.

My kids "just say what they know they are supposed to say so they won't get a bad grade."[53] "My kids are learning to keep quiet and to conform."[54]

Parents objecting to Race War Marxism have been pushed aside and demeaned. If they complain about intolerance, they are called disgruntled loners. They have fringe ideas which are confined to a tiny minority.

“These concerns have been silenced, ridiculed, and are being treated with hostility by the Administration,”[55] said the KidsWinLoyola website.

One parent who argued students should be back in school full time was told: "You are welcome to send your kids to other schools."[56]

Other parents are ignored: “A complaint was made but no response or explanation or satisfactory resolution was provided."[57]

Other parents are doing as the administration has suggested. They are taking their children to a different school.

"Why should I pay for this indoctrination when I can get it for free (from the public schools),"[58] said one parent.

There are competing petitions at Loyola for the opposing sides in the Race War Marxism fight. An Instagram account lists nearly one thousand complaints about racism and sexism at Loyola.[59] Another Instagram account advocates for a Turning Point USA chapter which Loyola denied.[60]

A petition on change.org lists suggested reforms to combat racism.[61] Another petition supports Peter Jansen, whose questionnaire in his ethics class headlined the stories at Fox, the Daily Mail, and the Daily Caller.[62]

More than 30 students signed a petition in support of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and described the parents and alumni fighting viewpoint intolerance as racists.[63] The board was asked to condemn the racism charge and said nothing.

“People did not feel the school was ripped apart by racism, but now they do. It is heartbreaking,”[64] said one parent, quoted anonymously in a story on Loyola at the National Catholic Register. “There are a handful of people who are driving this and not allowing moderating voices. This doesn’t represent the community or many of the teachers, or the coaches. This is not a racist institution. Our families have always stepped in and stepped up to make sure everyone feels included and is looked after.”

A KidsWinLoyola letter described the school’s atmosphere as an “ongoing battle of petition against petition, neighbor against neighbor, student against student."[65] A major donor said his family will make no new contributions to Loyola.[66] He asked that a plaque commemorating his family’s generosity be removed.

"They (teachers) explicitly discourage discussion, debate and criticism of their precepts, resulting in the silencing of those who express differing or critical viewpoints,”[67] said an April 2021 letter from Concerned Parents and Alumni. “The anti-intellectual and intolerant nature of these ideologies is wholly antithetical to the unique Jesuit emphasis on education through discernment."

The Boys Youth Group at Loyola invites speakers who describe all whites as sociopathic, who describe whiteness as the primary problem in American society, who describe America as suffering under the pandemics of white supremacy and capitalism. Conservative policy advocates are unknown at Loyola. Loyola Academy denied a request from students to form a Turning Point USA chapter. The group is dedicated to the freedom of all persons. Melissa Krein, the student activities director, declined the request, saying Turning Point is racist and antisemitic.

The Chicago police officer quoted earlier said their child could not complete his classwork at Loyola because his teacher did not respect the student’s viewpoint. “My child will not participate in the class because my child is not comfortable, cannot comment, because this teacher is not open to what others may feel or think.”[68]

A conservative student leader understands the problem clearly. “I do not agree with teachers only presenting one viewpoint to their students and treating the other viewpoint as wrong, or even racist.”[69]

George Kemper, an alumni, was invited to coach baseball at Loyola. The offer was rescinded based on his social media posts. He had questioned the Governor of Illinois on his Covid policies.

“I am saddened that I will not be able to coach this year at Loyola,” said Mr. Kemper, “but am saddened even more that Loyola seems to discourage opinions that question the status quo.

“Someone at Loyola saw my social media posts. Officials at Loyola contacted me and rescinded the offer to coach baseball. The explanation was that the political opinions I voiced did not reflect well on Loyola Academy. How could that be?

“I stood up for what I believe is right. How could that not reflect well on Loyola? Is that not precisely what Loyola told me, again and again, to do?”[70]

The Loyola parent who is a Chicago police officer described to Father McGrath what it was like to work during Black Lives Matter protests.

"At the height of the protests and riots, where we (were) working 14-hour days with no days off, (and) having shit, and urine and frozen bottles thrown at us. People (were) spitting in our faces, telling us they were going to RAPE our children when they attacked our houses, reading our names and addresses over microphones. EVERY Day and Night for months.

"My child would then attend class virtually to be told he should pray for the (Black Lives Matter) criminals who made the newest headlines for committing crimes, or not abiding by the law. … I do have a problem with an organization (Black Lives Matter) … (where) I encountered horrible behavior for months …. (and it) is allowed big displays promoting them (at Loyola), yet other organizations are not allowed."[71]

The school, especially the “theology” teachers, embraced Black Lives Matter last school year (2020-21). “There was a giant BLM poster that hung in our main hallway,” said a conservative student. “Almost every theology class also had BLM signs in their classrooms."[72]

The love of Black Lives Matter, an openly Marxist group, among the “theology” teachers at Loyola suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is the new religion at Loyola. A Loyola teacher describing the January 6th protest as “an act of white supremacy and white nationalism” suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is Loyola’s new religion.

When the teacher encourages the students to think of themselves as domestic terrorists like the January 6th rioters, it suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is the new religion at Loyola. When the teacher says all whites are domestic terrorists because of one criminal riot by a few hundred protestors, and Black Lives Matter members cannot in any way be considered domestic terrorists, when Black Lives Matter enacted over 650 criminal riots,[73] it suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is the new religion at Loyola.

The demonization of white students based upon their race by the teacher Peter Jansen, whose questions encouraged white self-hatred; whose questions programmed students to believe they use white supremacy to secure unique privileges, suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is the new religion at Loyola. When the graphic design syllabus encourages white students to take personal responsibility for land wars against Native Americans, later making possible the purchase of the school campus, it suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is the new religion at Loyola.

When Loyola brings to its school, and sponsors the work of, hard-left Marxists, like Jacqueline Battalora, David Stovall, and Robin DiAngelo, and blocks conservative students from forming a Turning Point chapter, calling Turning Point racist, it suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is the new religion at Loyola. When George Kemper is disinvited from coaching baseball for his conservative views on the pandemic, it suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is the new religion at Loyola.

When Jacqueline Battalora teaches that an end to whiteness must be the first priority of American society, it suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is Loyola’s new religion. When Professor Battalora teaches that all whites are sociopathic, then Critical Race Theory Marxism is probably the new religion at Loyola. When David Stovall teaches that capitalism and white supremacy are pandemic conditions in America, and must be overturned and eradicated, like a viral disease, it suggests that Critical Race Theory Marxism is the new religion at Loyola.

Principal Terri Jackson’s promise to force out of the school any teacher who objects to Race War Marxism suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is the new religion at Loyola. Principal Jackson’s promise to hire only teachers who believe in Race War Marxism suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is Loyola’s new religion. Principal Jackson’s commitment to hire only people of color suggests Critical Race Theory Marxism is the new religion at Loyola.

Taken individually, any of these facts would be cause for alarm. Your understanding of the nature of the changes at Loyola Academy will be truer if you estimate that for every one instance documented here of Critical Race Theory Marxism, there are a hundred examples which are not captured on video or put down in writing. The case is convincing, from what we have already shown, that Critical Race Theory Marxism has replaced Catholicism as the religion guiding Loyola Academy.

Don’t be fooled by the nature of Critical Race Theory. It is Marxism, pure and simple, with fun-house mirrors hiding its ugly nature. When you see Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, replace that euphemism with Race War Marxism, and you will understand what you are seeing. Since the hard left has controlled the schools for so long, when you went to school you may never have learned the obvious: Marxism is the greatest evil invention and the most dangerous religion which man has yet devised. One Loyola graduate, who is my contemporary, and who I spoke to for this story, described Karl Marx to me as an economist. He had no reservations about Marx’s work. This is like describing Charles Manson’s followers as surgeons.

The truth, still something of a secret in the public at large, is that Marxism is a hate crime, a murder machine, a bankrupter of countries, and a destroyer of civilizations. If we recount the history of the 20th Century, the Marxists make the Nazis awkward beginners in the business of taking innocent human life. To properly judge the changes at Loyola Academy, you should consider it as something worse than a formerly Catholic institution now converting to a Nazi school whose leaders are quietly dedicated to the murder of Jews and the subjugation of all non-Germans.

Critical Race Theory is Marxism devoted to a race war. Critical Race Theory Marxism is Race War Marxism. Critical Race Theory Marxism is committed to raising a revolutionary class of students dedicated to the destruction of capitalism and the constitution. Critical Race Theory Marxism is Race War Marxism dedicated to the destruction of the family and the murder of God. Critical Race Theory Marxism is devoted to the separation of parent and child.

If you understand Marxism, you understand everything beautiful in life must be destroyed, especially the love between a parent and a child. We must now give all of our heart and soul and mind to the state and our future dear leader under Critical Race Theory Marxism. Everything else goes into the fire, including God and family.

Peter Jansen’s questions to his students invited his students into this life of destruction. Father McGrath, the school president, said the questions would no longer be used, but soon Mr. Jansen and his fellow-traveler “theology” teachers, who are likely all hard-left Marxists, will return his questions to their classrooms at Loyola.

They will repeat, over and over, the questions about how students benefit from white privilege based on the systemic racism of white supremacy engineered to control every aspect of life in America -- a good summary of the primary hypothesis / conclusion of Critical Race Theory Marxism. The sermon on white privilege will be the daily catechism for Loyola students and their only way of seeing the world by the time they graduate. The “theology” teachers will build a Marxist army at Loyola Academy from lost children who will learn to hate their country and despise their white supremacist parents.      

We should all expect within five years that Marxist indoctrination will be the primary educational goal at Loyola Academy.  

The Race War Marxists, who now control Loyola Academy, have nothing to fear. The current opposition to Critical Race Theory Marxism at Loyola, through the work of Concerned Parents and Alumni and KidsWinLoyola, is docile, polite and harmless. Only a fierce warrior leader of great intelligence and courage, who is selfless and principled, with great ambitions for reform, who devotes many years to the cause, could change the fate of Loyola Academy. He doesn’t exist.

Critical Race Theory proponents are not just seeking a race war. They also want a war between the sexes: Male against female. They also seek a war based upon sexual attraction: gay against straight. They also seek a war based upon gender: Trans against not-trans.

Critical Gender Theory, a subset of Critical Race Theory Marxism, is just getting started at Loyola.

The Student Activities Director, for example, asked in an email to students: "What gender do you identify with? (Male, Female, Non-binary, Prefer not to say).”[74]

The question suggests Loyola will abolish the Catholic teaching that humans are men or women. Biology teaches that we are either men or women. Religion and science agree on the obvious.

Critical Race Theory Marxism requires “freeing the body from the constraints of inherited and imposed normativities.”[75] Everything we believe, including that we are a species of males and females, must be subverted and destroyed.

In surveys given at the beginning of this school year (2021-22), Loyola gave students the option to list their pronouns, as if they could be something different from “he” and “she.”  

You may have heard that some persons use novel pronouns. If you fail to use the new pronouns as requested and “someone is referred to with the wrong pronoun, it can make them feel disrespected, invalidated, dismissed, alienated, or dysphoric.”[76]

The gender obsession is intended to create lost angry children who separate from their parents and seek a new home inside Race War Marxism. It is easy to imagine a large band of angry young revolutionaries bound together by hatred of life after having their bodies destroyed in grotesque chemical experiments and bodily mutilations, and after discovering the empty play acting regarding their fictitious sexual personality gives them nothing to manage the difficulties of life or to pursue life’s meaning.

To an outside observer, the novel gender definitions children are encouraged to adopt cannot make sense. What you must comprehend, and what I hope you will find unbelievable, is that exotic sexual personas allow white children to escape the shameful history of the white race. The white children, when they adopt an oppressed sexual minority persona, make themselves superior under Critical Race Theory Marxism.[77]

Will these transformations make them strong and independent and put them on the right path toward attaining the meaning of life?      

The die is cast for Loyola Academy. Evil has already taken the school. Loyola Academy is just one of thousands of American schools, governments and businesses which Race War Marxism has cannibalized and strangled.

Today we worship a false idol at Loyola Academy. The hard proof of the deadly nature of our idol will come years from now. Imagine a lost child enrolled at Loyola who mutilates their body, in a desperate hope of finding meaning through an experiment with their sexual identity.

The child will discover, after chemical experiments on their body and literal amputations, that their teachers’ ideas about race and sex are a lie. The child will discover that their life and body are a very minor plot device that have been used to advance the Critical Race Theory Marxist program. The student, after suffering horrible psychological and physical torture, will seek revenge. Maybe against classmates, teachers, or parents? More likely, the child will simply kill him- or herself. Death will be their revenge.

Who will blame the child, after they have been encouraged to disfigure themselves? Who will blame the child after they have transformed their body into a nightmare? The students at Loyola who aspire to a higher status will have a new fad to follow if current trends continue.

The takeover at Loyola Academy by Critical Race Theory Marxism will be confirmed in blood. All of the board members who have served under Father McGrath, who is the leader of Critical Race Theory Marxism at Loyola, should sign that child’s death certificate.

When Critical Race Theory Marxism first surfaced publicly at Loyola, Father McGrath said: "Let me be clear: We have never -- and will never -- ask students to apologize for their race.” It was a vicious lie, made believable because Critical Race Theory Marxism was not yet widely known or understood, and because Father McGrath, taking full advantage of the protection of his popularity, said with complete confidence the opposite of what was true.

A year later, we now understand that encouraging the sense in a white child that they should hate their race and that they should be desperate to apologize for their whiteness is the gateway initiation into Critical Race Theory Marxism. Peter Jansen pursued this initiation by presenting his students with questions on white privilege.    

Although the school is not answering any of my questions, I am confident that Father McGrath would also say that Loyola will never encourage students to escape their white privilege by adapting a bizarre fictitious sexual identity. When a student does follow that path, the child will be transformed from a privileged white oppressor to a victimized and oppressed sexual deviant.

The oppressed deviant persona will give the child a holy status in the insane world of Critical Race Theory Marxism. What you want, if you want to be important, is to be oppressed. You are important if you are black or transexual or have a mental illness or a physical disability. You are far better if you have all of these oppressions.

A young woman (not a Loyola student) explained why she transitioned from female to male in high school.

“It’s understandable that any young person exposed to this kind of belief system would grow to deeply resent being white, “cis”, straight, or (biologically) male. The beauty of gender ideology is it provides a way to game this system, so that you can get some of those targets off your back and enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded youths. You can’t change your race … but you can absolutely change your gender, and it’s as easy as putting a “she/they” in your bio. Instantly you are transformed from an oppressing, entitled, evil, bigoted, selfish, disgusting cishet white scum into a valid trans person who deserves celebration and special coddling to make up for the marginalization and oppression you supposedly now face.” [78]

Now you understand, almost certainly for the first time, the obsession with sexual identity among high school and college students. It is impossible to believe, and it would not be true in a sane world, but a student’s adoption of a unique sexual identity is a form of apology for their whiteness and is an escape from white privilege to holy oppression and high-status victimhood. No other evidence is needed to prove our mass group psychosis.

If Loyola Academy was a Catholic school, students would be taught to defeat and overcome their weaknesses, and to use their own suffering to deepen their understanding and care for others who are suffering. Catholic students will never be taught to glorify themselves by idolizing their weaknesses, but that message will soon be the primary theme in the lesson plan at Loyola Academy.

The price a “transexual” child pays for their holy status is a broken body and mind. What a horrible price we will all pay for indoctrinating our children into the unspeakable Critical Race Theory Marxism religion. To begin with, we abandon and condemn our children. Their fury, after suffering our malicious criminal abuse, will echo out into the ages.  

God has said he would never again use a flood to destroy a fallen people. We should all expect, in our case, he must go back on his word. He must put an end to our extraordinary cowardice. He must cancel our unyielding ignorance. He must raze, without mercy, our hideous betrayal of life.

Our country is divided between oppressors and their victims. Whites oppress blacks. Blacks are oppressed by whites. This is the fundamental law of American society for Critical Race Theory. The oppression will only end after a Marxist revolution against capitalism.    

The old Marxists said a revolution by workers would set the world right. Workers’ anger against capitalists would fuel class war.

The workers didn’t cooperate. Class war failed to produce revolution. Critical Race Theory explains why workers failed to rise up. White workers have a special privilege and they want to keep it. White workers maintain their privilege by opposing Marxist revolution. In this new version of Marxism, the racism directed at blacks fuels black anger and their revolutionary aspirations. Critical Race Marxism advances the cause, increases the size of the revolutionary class, by shaming whites into renouncing their privilege. The now enlightened whites, the “woke,” then join the oppressed blacks in revolution against the capitalists.

The trainers who lead seminars in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are not just teaching racial sensitivity. They are, to meet their long-term goals, recruiting white allies to join their black brothers in Marxism.   

Critical Race Theory, which uses Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to recruit Marxists, is the religion which now controls not just Loyola Academy, the subject of this series, but many of the major institutions in America. Critical Race Theory, best summarized as Race War Marxism, is a Marxism devoted to racial conflict and tribal hatred. The final goals of advocates are to destroy whiteness, to end white supremacy, to cancel systemic racism, to overthrow capitalism and to abrogate the constitution.

These earth-shattering goals are pursued in early stages under the innocent-sounding cover of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. First they ask for affirmative action in hiring and admissions. Then they seek higher taxes to pay for redistribution. Next they move to reparations to cure past wrongs. Finally, they move to revolution. Afterward, the government will have the power to impose perfect equity, meaning we will all have the same wealth and status.  

A famous group of Marxist thinkers reorganized the central players in revolution under Critical Race Theory.  

“The ghetto populations may well become the first mass basis of revolt,” wrote Herbert Marcuse in 1969. “Confined to small areas of living and dying, it (the ghetto) can be more easily organized and directed.”[i]

The Critical Race Marxists replace the fundamental injustice of class exploitation with the fundamental injustice of racial exploitation. Racism is everywhere and is used to drive righteous hatred against whites, capitalism and America.  

The racist harms caused by whites in the past are remediated by racist actions against whites in the present.

“The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination,” wrote Ibram X. Kendi, in an iconic statement on Critical Race Theory, and the author of How To Be an Antiracist. “The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.”[ii]

The preeminent historian, Victor Davis Hanson, describes a profound shift in thinking in America, under the influence of authors like Mr. Kendi. We have regressed, under Critical Race Theory, which he describes as pathological, into a new racist tribal mindset.  

“The entire pathology fixates on superficial collective appearances rather than unique individual character, talent and achievement,” wrote Professor Hanson, arguably the most important historian writing in America today. “By that definition, the new wokeism is again racist to the core.”[iii] 

A reviewer of White Fragility, a prominent Critical Race Theory guide, describes a simple formula we are now all taught to follow: “We are defined not by our individual personalities or moral choices, but only by our racial category.”[iv]

This means, if you are white, you are racist. Your only remedy, to cure your racism, is to join the Marxist cause.

Critical Race Theory’s key hypothesis says “every instance of racial disparity,” especially of financial inequality, is “evidence of racial discrimination.”[v]

Capitalism creates unequal outcomes. We have rich and poor. Therefore capitalism in its nature is racist. Unequal outcomes is racism. Capitalism is racism. Poverty in America is proof of the racism of America.  

“I classify racism and capitalism as these conjoined twins,” said Mr. Kendi, the Critical Race Theory scholar, in another iconic statement of Critical Race Theory. “[I]n order to truly be anti-racist, you also have to truly be anti-capitalist…. And in order to truly be anti-capitalist, you have to be antiracist, because they're interrelated.”[vi]

You will have already heard of many names and ideas and organizations in the business of racial justice: The 1619 Project; Black Lives Matter; anti-racism; and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. You may have also heard of Cancel Culture, Identity Politics, Social Justice, Wokeness and Cultural Marxism. All of these ideas and terms live in the magical universe of Critical Race Theory Marxism.  

The 1619 project, which reinvents America as the country founded to protect slavey, is Critical Race Theory history. Black Lives Matter protestors are the Critical Race Theory ground troops. Anti-racism is how supporters summarize the means of achieving the goals of the Critical Race Theory project. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is the implementation arm of Critical Race Theory, where human resources directors hire new employees based upon the race or sex or the sexual orientation of the applicant.

Cancel culture seeks to ruin those who oppose Critical Race Theory by describing opponents as racists. Identity politics is the method for encouraging hatred between groups, between white and black, between male and female, between gay and straight, required by Critical Race Theory.

Social Justice is the revolutionary goal of Critical Race Theory. Social Justice is attained when redistribution of wealth and status makes us all equal. Makes us a classless society, which is a society that has attained “equity.” We all know about equity now through the inescapable Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Strangely, 99 of 100 persons will not know that “equity” and the “classless society” are one-and-the-same thing. You may think Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is an affirmative action program, but it is in fact a revolutionary Marxist program where money and power are distributed by allocating jobs.

Critical Race Theory controls many major corporations, college-level schooling, the federal bureaucracy (the Deep State), Big Media, Big Tech, the medical and legal field, and the Democratic Party. We are in the midst of a major push to make Critical Race Theory the religion of K-12 schools. The new power of Critical Race Theory is so extreme that federal civil rights law has been nullified where Critical Race-War Marxists rule. The civil rights revolution of the 1960s has been cancelled. Equal rights and the level playing field have been replaced by quotas. This is the first tranche of government-mandated redistribution of wealth through the work of private parties. This is the realization of a major building block in the effort to make America a classless society.

“A broad revolution is underway in the United States as traditional standards used to measure achievement and provide opportunity are being rejected by schools, corporations, and governments in favor of quotas based on race and gender,”[vii] wrote Richard Bernstein, an investigative reporter for RealClearInvestigations.

If you are white, and if you claim you are not racist, if you say that you act in a fair and non-prejudicial way, and you claim this is proof you are not racist, you are suffering from “white fragility.” You are showing “an instinctive defensiveness that whites are said to display after they have been trained about their investment in racism.”[viii]

Individual actions have no relevance in Critical Race War Marxism, which is why any normal person cannot understand it, and is confused by it, and will find it impossible to argue against. You are required to see as irrelevant your personal commitment to avoid prejudicial behavior. You must refocus on the unequal output of the impersonal mechanism of the economy.

You may have come to the debate on Critical Race Theory thinking Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is a modest affirmative action plan and unconnected to Critical Race Theory or Marxism. You are, in fact, being brought in to the Marxist revolution.   

Educators have been trained in Critical Race Theory for at least a generation. They have been patiently waiting to put their plan in place.  

The death of George Floyd, on May 25th, 2020, presented a great opportunity for the Race War Marxists.

“A host of major education trade associations publicly vowed to imprint this ideology onto the next generation”[ix] after Mr. Floyd’s death. Loyola Academy announced its “Confronting Racism” initiative six days after Mr. Floyd’s death.

The teachers of Race War Marxism, when they have the power to speak openly, will emphasize the importance of transferring wealth, property, opportunity, and power to the underprivileged.

“Nothing short of a total act of ‘dismantling’, ‘decolonization’, or ‘abolition’ of the various institutions that enact ongoing ‘structural violence’ will suffice,”[x] said Wesley Yang, an American social-media personality and political commentator who hosts a blog and podcast called Year Zero.

In other words, Critical Race Theory argues “society must be fundamentally transformed through moral, economic and political revolution,”[xi] said Christopher Rufo, the most important writer and opponent of Critical Race Theory.

A full-blown Critical Race Theory Marxist school will teach white students to hate themselves by teaching them to hate all of the whites who lived in the past.   

“The purpose of the CRT training programs, and the curricula, is … to create enough bad associations with the white race, by teaching whites from childhood that they’re collectively guilty of past crimes and generally inferior,” write Mike Gonzalez & Jonathan Butcher, both fellows at the Heritage Foundation.[xii]

“The goals of CRT are to annihilate the souls of white people, to morally paralyze them via a protracted process of induced guilt, shame, embarrassment, and extortion,”[xiii] wrote Jason Hill, a philosophy professor at DePaul University in Chicago, who has been studying Critical Race Theory for 25 years.

Students are immersed into a “death agenda” which offers a “final solution” to white students. The teachers have succeeded when students agree that “communism is the grand elixir for all the maladies they and their ancestors inflicted upon a competitor race.”[xiv] Racism can only be cured by Marxist revolution.

Cancel King

We have civil rights law to guarantee fairness in employment, housing, and education. The Critical Race War Marxists say legal protections are “insufficient or pointless.”[xv] 

“Under the colorblind approach, we were taught to view people as individuals, to emphasize our common humanity, and to avoid racial or ethnic generalizations.”[xvi] The new system requires that “we need to acknowledge, emphasize, and place value on racial categories.”[xvii]

The Race War Marxists oppose “incrementalism and step-by-step progress.”[xviii]

“When you hear activists demand ‘equity,’ what they’re actually saying is that the basic American value of equality of opportunity — that the rules should apply equally to everyone, regardless of race — is racist, because equality of opportunity doesn’t always produce equality of results,”[xix] according to Defending Education, a grassroots organization working to restore to schools a non-political education.

Mr. Kendi, the Critical Race Theory leader, says that “the most threatening racist movement is…the regular American’s drive for a race-neutral”[xx] society. Martin Luther King and the civil rights reforms of the ‘60s are the “most threatening racist movement.”[xxi]

The color-blind society fought for in the civil war and the civil rights movement is white supremacy. "Color blindness helps racism” because “many white people use color blindness to ignore the problem of racism."[xxii]

Under the new religion at Loyola Academy, and in all institutions guided by Critical Race Theory, Martin Luther King is a white supremacist. Equality under the law and a level playing field and a colorblind society are now “the epitome of racism.”[xxiii]

The level playing field is only one fundamental achievement of American life which must be cancelled under Critical Race Theory. A fundamental Marxist revolutionary transformation is the true ambition.  

“The Constitution, property rights, color blindness, and equal protection under the law are vestiges of white supremacy, patriarchy, and capitalist oppression—all of which must be overthrown in the name of ‘antiracism,’”[xxiv] wrote Christopher Rufo, the leading American opponent of Critical Race Theory.

Abolish Whiteness

A leading pioneer of Critical Race Theory, Noel Ignatiev, said we need to “abolish the white race by any means necessary”[xxv] because “treason to whiteness is loyalty to humanity.”[xxvi]  

Basic constitutional protections should no longer apply to white citizens. The First Amendment is “protecting white supremacy.”[xxvii] We must censor “colonialists” who oppose Race War Marxism. White supremacists use “the unfair advantages of the white racist regime”[xxviii] to maintain white privilege when they use free speech.

White workers, according to Mr. Ignatiev, must be won over to the Marxist revolutionary cause. There is “only one struggle, the proletarian class struggle, in which the rejection by white workers of white supremacist ideas and practices is crucial to the emergence of the proletariat as a revolutionary class.”[xxix]

The Marxist culture warriors seek to close major institutions and to destroy traditional morals. If you destroy order and meaning and increase anarchy, it subverts the meaning of life, multiplying the population of the unhappy open to Marxist conversion.

“Decolonization, however, requires the abolition of all forms of oppression and violence. It means disbanding the military/police, opening borders, opening the prisons, freeing the body from the constraints of inherited and imposed normativities of gender and sexuality.”[xxx]

We must “limit, curtail, or abolish the rights to property, equal protection, due process, federalism, speech, and the separation of powers,”[xxxi] wrote Mr. Rufo.

"Considering the role that this vile practice (white supremacy) has historically played in holding back the struggle of the American working class, the fight against white supremacy becomes the central immediate task of the entire working class,” said Mr. Ignatiev, the pioneering proponent of Critical Race Theory. “As soon as white supremacy is eliminated as a force within the working class, the decks will be cleared for action by the entire class against its enemy.[xxxii]"

The enemy is capitalism, America, family and God. Only a small number are aware of the true ambition of the true believers in Critical Race Theory Marxism. Every school and business with a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion department is a stronghold for the love of destruction idolized by Critical Race Theory.

Systemic Gaslighting

Progressives say conservatives oppose Critical Race Theory because conservatives oppose the end of racism in America.

“What the fight against critical race theory really shows is how Republicans are threatened by the progress that has been made with respect to racial justice and are uncomfortable with what it might actually look like to confront and eradicate racism.”[xxxiii]

Republican efforts against Critical Race Theory are “an attempt to push back against progress.”[xxxiv] We have no reason to worry about Critical Race Theory in primary schools. Critical Race Theory is an academic theory taught in some law schools, but “is virtually non-existent in public schools across the nation.”[xxxv] “MSNBC host Joy Reid has repeatedly claimed on her show that critical race theory has ‘nothing to do with’ K-12 education.”[xxxvi]

Big Media has launched a “furious counterattack”[xxxvii] against parents opposed to Race War Marxism. They are “spinning a new mythology that presents critical race theory as a benign academic concept, casts its detractors as right-wing extremists driven by racial resentment, and portrays legislation against critical race theory as an attempt to ban teaching about the history of slavery and racism.”[xxxviii]

The critics of Race War Marxism “don't know what it is.”[xxxix] Critics don’t have the intelligence to understand it. “It’s a complex critique that wouldn’t fit easily into a K-12 curriculum. Even law students find the ideas challenging.”[xl] Great minds in the media can barely articulate the truth of Critical Race Theory. “We ourselves struggle to put it in understandable terms,”[xli] wrote Gary Peller, a law professor at Georgetown University.  

Conservatives most important goal in opposing Critical Race Theory, according to progressive critics, is to outlaw the teaching of history.

“Basic historical facts -- especially about topics like slavery, Jim Crow, genocides of Native Americans -- is what the GOP want banned and they call it "critical race theory" to make it sound intimidating,” [xlii] wrote Sarah Kendzior, an American journalist and author.

Degrading Blacks

The victims of “systemic racism”, the oppressed, are lowered from adults to children under Race War Marxism. All blacks, of all ages, are taught that their actions have no power to make their lives meaningful.

Black students are encouraged to see their failures not as their own, which is the essential starting place to take action to overcome failure. They are “assured that their struggles arise from the malign external forces of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia,”[xliii] according to Gregory Hansen, a professor of Folklore and English at Arkansas State University.

Black students are forced into a “false choice” for their future: “accept their victimhood as persons without agency who must silently suffer injustice, or throw themselves into the abolition of patriarchal, heteronormative, colonialist whiteness.”[xliv]

Black children are denied the power of knowing they rule their own lives. They are denied the power of knowing that their obstacles serve to make them stronger.

Carol Swain, an African American who grew up in dire poverty, and who is now retired from her work as a professor of political science and law at Vanderbilt University, said Race War Marxism “will strip from young people of color something essential for success in life: hope.”[xlv]

When Swain was growing up, “I was convinced that I was born into a land of opportunity. Despite being born black and poor, I learned that one’s attitude toward life was far more important than your race or social class in determining what you will accomplish.”[xlvi]

Both black and white students are being taught that their ordinary understanding of reality is false. Their actions are empty. Both black and white students may believe that they can only be racist when they act or speak in a racist way. The new religion teaches that whites are racist even if their actions are perfect, and non-whites cannot be racist even when their actions are openly racist.  

“Who is it that is teaching us Americans to regard each other wholly on the basis of racial identity?” wrote Rod Dreher, the great Christian writer, whose recent book warned that we are now a soft totalitarian society, and that we must prepare for the worst. “In a time in which we desperately need to find some way to hold together across racial lines, it is the Left who is driving us apart, by intentional policy. And it is the Left at the same time who is blaming the Right for resenting them for this.”[xlvii]

We are entering a “world order that divides us at all times and in all places into warring groups of race and gender that accuse one another of endless microaggressions and other abuses.”[xlviii]

Professor Hanson, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, said 15 years ago most Americans saw each other as fellow citizens. They did not think of themselves as members of rival tribes. Critical Race Theory has changed us. We are “resegregating into Dark Age bands.”[xlix]

Their Plan To Rule Us

Before Critical Race Theory, we sought the end of racism by making laws to guarantee all persons could freely and fairly compete for the same jobs, schools, and homes. After Critical Race Theory, you pursue the end of racism by government redistribution of jobs, schools, homes, money, power and status. The government will allocate everything to produce perfect “equity.” A society with perfect equity gives everyone the same car, home, wealth and status.

The problem with redistribution: When it has been used in the past, the redistributors strangle the economy. Venezuela is the best recent example of an economy devoted to equity. They have full employment there. Everybody’s job is rummaging through garbage cans for dinner.  

The eminent historian Charles Murray says it is unnatural for humans to treat other persons as individuals and judge them by their character. We are wired from tens of thousands of years living as tribe members. We are programmed to place our faith in those persons who resemble our physical appearance. Race War Marxism reawakens our primitive selves. It is a “reversion to the state of nature—us against them.”[l] Black against white. Male against female. Straight against gay. All against all.

The Critical Race advocates say “our society, in every aspect, is racist”[li] and we must embrace “sweeping new forms of racial discrimination”[lii] to right past wrongs. 

The Race War Marxists, once their power over America is secure, plan to install “a near-omnipotent federal bureaucracy with the power to nullify any law and silence political speech that isn’t ‘antiracist.’”[liii]

An amendment to the constitution will establish the Department of Anti-racism (DOA). Trained racism experts will run the DOA.

“The DOA would be responsible for preclearing all local, state and federal public policies to ensure they won’t yield racial inequity”[liv] and would “investigate private racist policies when racial inequity surfaces.”[lv] They would “monitor public officials for expressions of racist ideas.”[lvi] They would have the power to discipline policymakers and public officials “who do not voluntarily change their racist policy and ideas.”[lvii]

Rights, property, and income will be overseen by a “centralized, unelected authority with nearly unlimited state power.”[lviii]

Race War Marxists will direct “large-scale wealth and property redistribution based on the African decolonial model.”[lix] Property rights will be outlawed. Wealth will be confiscated and parceled out based on race.

Professor Alan Freeman, an early leader of Race War Marxism, pictured North Korea as the model for the United States.[lx] To understand the dire consequences of living under Professor Freeman’s plan, consider that the average American worker makes about 30 times what a North Korean makes.[lxi] If your current income is $100,000, your new salary under Critical Race Marxism will be $3,400 if we successfully adopt the North Korean model. 

Fighting Back

Fights over what students are taught are breaking out all over the country with “battalions of angry parents who do not want their children taught that all whites are evil, that America is inextricably racist, that the free market is exploitative, and that blacks must be given preferential treatment in school and in the workplace.”[lxii]

Legislation against Critical Race Theory says that “teachers may and should discuss the role of racism in American history, but they may not shame or treat students differently according to their racial background.”[lxiii]

Parents want children to learn the mistakes of the past. Students should be taught all of our history, but they cannot be encouraged to take responsibility for past sins. “They don’t want their children to be told that they are responsible for the mistakes of their ancestors, and that unless they repent for those mistakes then they will remain complicit,”[lxiv] that they will unjustly benefit from white privilege.

Mothers are leading the charge against Critical Race Theory.

“They understand perhaps better than anyone that Marxist-infused curricula intended to sow division and resentment have no place in a free and civilized society, and is endangering their children’s cognitive, psychological, and emotional well-being,”[lxv] wrote Carina Benton, a freelance writer, a practicing Catholic, and a mother of two.

Parents from both sides of the political aisle are joining together and fighting Critical Race Theory.

“If you want to keep this country together, and make it possible for us to live peaceably together, and continue the long, slow work of making progress towards loving each other more perfectly,” wrote Mr. Dreher, the Christian writer, “then you had better fight CRT, whatever your politics.”[lxvi]

Dear Father McGrath,

You said that Loyola Academy would never ask students to apologize for their race.

“Let me be clear,” you said. “We have never -- and will never -- ask students to apologize for their race.”[i]

I am curious father: What do you ask of your students on the question of race? If they do not have to apologize, what do they have to say and think about race?

In the ethics class taught by Peter Jansen, whose questions for his students made Loyola Academy international news, you asked white students to confess to their whiteness.

“How do you benefit from white privilege, and how have you held onto that benefit (despite knowing the harm it does)?” asked Mr. Jansen. “What have you learned about the ways you specifically wield this privilege that do harm (whether you intend to or not)? Dig deep. No sugar coating and no focusing on the good you have done with your privilege. Remember: this isn’t about being self-congratulatory, it’s about pulling out white supremacy.”

What is whiteness, father? Whiteness is imposing white supremacy on American society. And what does white supremacy create? White supremacy makes America systemically racist.

And is there proof, father, of systemic racism? The proof of whiteness, of white supremacy, of white privilege, and of systemic racism, is that there are rich and poor in America. As long as there are rich and poor in America, there is systemic racism.

What you ask of your students is to acknowledge their whiteness, to admit to the privilege they win due to white supremacy. What you want especially is a confession of shame. You want students to admit they are ashamed of their race.    

What can be done to end whiteness, father? How can your students end white supremacy? How can your students truthfully renounce their white privilege, once they finally know and admit they are ashamed of their whiteness? They simply join the Marxist revolution against capitalism. They overthrow the constitution. They fight to destroy America. This is what you ask your students to do father. They will, of course, in the process of indoctrination, apologize for their race.

The best repudiation a student can make of his whiteness, father, is to dedicate himself to destroying America. This is what you ask.

In summary, father, you ask your white students to admit to using their inborn whiteness to impose white supremacy throughout America so that they can lock in and guarantee the systemic racism they guard fearlessly to maintain the power and the glory of their white privilege. They will use all of their whiteness to maintain their status, wealth, and security. For readers who don’t know, this is the starting point of Critical Race Theory.

You ask your white students to confess and admit and to be ashamed of and to renounce themselves, their race, and their history. And you ask your students to change their ways, and to change the world, by taking up and joining in the Marxist cause. There is only one source of redemption for those cursed by the plague of whiteness: Violent Marxist revolution against the United States. We have an old word for this, father: Treason. When convicted, you can hang, or go before the firing squad. This is what you ask of your students father.    

A good student at Loyola will seek to counter his white privilege. He has used white privilege for his entire young life to punish the oppressed. Now, while he is still in school, he can change his thinking. A good student at Loyola will be competent when he sincerely allies himself with the radical blacks and whites who are pursuing Marxist revolution. It is time for America to be overthrown, father. A good student will seek to nullify the constitution. He will seek the classless society.  

You ask a good student to join forces with those pursuing a violent revolution against a systemically racist capitalist society.

Critical Race Theory, at its beginning and at its end, seeks a race war. Seeks hatred between black and white. Seeks unrest, chaos, anarchy. Seeks violence. Seeks violence between tribes. Seeks conditions on the ground that will set things right to overthrow whiteness, capitalism, and America.

This is what you ask your students to believe father. This is what you teach. You seek supplicants devoted to the religion of Critical Race Theory, which is best defined as Race War Marxism. And, in all candor, father, could it be more obvious, after I have just outlined here the basics of Critical Race Theory, that you had an obligation to explain this foreign religion to your students, your teachers, your administrators, the board members, and to God. You had an obligation to seek approval from all of them before you made it Loyola’s new religion.   

If you read your teacher’s questions, and if you know what Critical Race Theory is, then you know the teacher, Peter Jansen, wanted white students to confess to being ashamed of their whiteness and to admit to all of the ways they had benefitted from their white privilege. He asked for their confession, to accept responsibility for all the sins of history. “No sugar coating,” said Mr. Jenson. “It’s about pulling out white supremacy.”[ii]

In the Catholic church, believers confess their sins to God, by admitting to a priest their sins. By their admission, they are not celebrating their sins, but they are apologizing to God for their sins, hoping for forgiveness, and expecting to do penance for their wrongs.

Now, at Loyola, Critical Race Theory trainers, “theology” teachers, hear the confessions. The penitent, the student, can be forgiven, not by God, and by confessing his sins to God, but by the teacher, who will require that the guilty student, ruined by his original sin of whiteness, join the Marxist enterprise.    

A good student must apologize for his whiteness by confessing to his privilege. You do ask your students to apologize for their race, despite your claims that the opposite is true. They are asked to apologize for their whiteness and to seek forgiveness, not by saying prayers, or by committing to avoid sin, or by going to confession, but by joining the Marxist cause.  

Something else you said to the international media captured my attention. To analyze it, we must review a basic “insight” of Critical Race Theory.

Loyola’s trainer on Black Lives Matter, Jacqueline Battalora, argued that her approach to ending whiteness, which she said must be our highest priority, is superior because “the historical approach utilized helps to remove defensiveness”[iii] and motivates whites to transform themselves into black allies in the Marxist revolution.

Robyn DiAngelo, who gave a lecture sponsored by Loyola Academy, and one of the leaders of the national movement for Critical Race Theory, has argued that “white fragility” blocks us from seeking an end to whiteness. There is “a set of psychological defense mechanisms that white people use in order to avoid acknowledging their own racism.”[iv] Highest among these mechanisms is “defensiveness”.

Ms. DiAngelo said whites feel anger, fear and guilt when first confronted with their racism. This leads them to hide behind their “defensiveness.”

The defensiveness of whites, Ms. DiAngelo states, discourages people of color from providing honest feedback on racism. Defensiveness makes progress against racism impossible. People of color who speak up “risk even more punishment with our defensiveness, our hurt feelings, our minimization, our explaining away.”[v]

The dictionary says a defensive person is “constantly protecting oneself from criticism” and seeks to avoid “exposure of one's shortcomings.”[vi] A defensive person is too temperamentally weak to objectively consider useful criticism.

The Critical Race Theorists say defensiveness is a quintessential white strategy which is used to maintain their privilege.

When whites use defensiveness, “They are engaging in a ‘defensive move’ called privilege-preserving epistemic pushback,’ which means that they are just arguing to keep their privilege … .”[vii]

The truth is that “defensiveness is a cornerstone of white supremacy culture.”[viii]

If you have not been trained in Critical Race Theory, you may think a person is racist when they act in a prejudicial manner towards another person. You believe in “the simplistic idea that racism is limited to individual intentional acts committed by unkind people.”[ix]

Ms. DiAngelo says this backward relic definition of racism is “at the root of virtually all white defensiveness.”[x]

What did you say, Father McGrath, when Peter Jansen’s questions first aired publicly?

When the world came to your door to ask about a controversy, and when Loyola was headed to the front pages of the largest media companies in the world, what did you say about your students, who you are obligated to defend and protect, to teach and guide? You said the questions which encouraged white students to be ashamed of their race; the questions which asked them to repudiate the value of the lives and accomplishments of all of their ancestors; the questions which asked them to repudiate the greatness of their country and of all American history; you said that it “left some students feeling defensive."[xi] The students at Loyola Academy, according to the school president, are defensive.

Your answer, father, comes straight out of the handbook of Critical Race Theory. The students who objected to Critical Race Theory were protecting themselves with the “cornerstone of white supremacy culture.”[xii]

You told the world your students lacked the fortitude to bear the teacher’s lesson. You broadcast to fellow travelers that your students failed to confront their white supremacy. You said your students lack the strength to question their whiteness. They could not admit to the systemic failings of the white race. They failed to own the shame they should feel for their whiteness.

You told the world your students are unworthy and incapable. If your students disagreed with Race War Marxism, the students were at fault. It could not be the fault of the violent, atheist, murderous religion that they were asked to adopt. It could not be the fault of the teacher and the school telling them to submit to a bizarre, cruel religion. Critical Race Theory “left some students feeling defensive.” Are you really incapable of seeing, Father McGrath, that you were defensive when you described your students as defensive?    

If you lied to the world by saying you did not ask your students to apologize for their race, if you were brutally dishonest by failing to disclose and explain to students and parents and the board the new religion of Loyola, Critical Race Theory, and if, in your public comments for the whole world to see, you denigrated and demeaned your students as weak and temperamentally incapable of learning, when you called your students defensive; even with all of that disgraceful behavior, you still avoided a primary question which all parents and students were asking at the time: Are you teaching students how to think for themselves or are you indoctrinating students into a new religion? Has Loyola Academy cancelled critical thinking, the greatest skill a student can take from school, in favor of indoctrination into Critical Race Theory?

If Peter Jansen had taught students that Critical Race Theory supports a race war between blacks and white allies against white capitalists, leading to a Marxist revolution to overthrow the constitution, to end material inequality and systemic racism, then he would have been teaching, not indoctrinating .

What Peter Jansen did in the classroom is something different from teaching. He encouraged white students to confess to their white privilege, to loathe the influence of white supremacy, to admit to being guilty of systemic racism, to confess to their guilt for the historical sins of their race. All of these things he did to recruit white allies to the Marxist revolution against capitalism and America. Fr. McGrath, you and your teacher were indoctrinating your students into Race War Marxism. You were asking your students to be Marxists. You were making them Marxists. Don’t you think parents deserved to know and approve your plan? You are the leader of a school that is supposed to be Catholic. Marxism is anti-family, anti-capitalist and especially anti-God.  

The truth, of course, had you explained it, would have led to your immediate dismissal. You put your cause, and yourself, ahead of truth. You added to many years of deception with a bold new deception. You announced your lie openly, for the whole world to see. When you were seen taking gold bars from an open safe, you said there are no gold bars, there is no safe, and you are taking nothing from the safe. “Let me be clear,” you said. “We have never -- and will never -- ask students to apologize for their race.” You did ask your students to apologize for their race. And much more. And much worse. And you lied to the whole world about it.

Which makes me wonder. Is it true, father, that when you have fully embraced Marxist privilege, you are incapable of shame? Is it true, when you have fully embraced Marxist privilege, that you can do no wrong when serving the revolution? Is it true, father, when you have fully embraced Marxist privilege, you are, in a strange way, God almighty yourself, and God in heaven, who made heaven and earth, and everything everywhere, including the Catholic Church, that God himself no longer has importance or meaning or influence? You are the maker of truth. You are the creator of social justice. You are the word made flesh.

After what you have done, father, isn’t it obvious what I ask of you? I ask you to apologize for imposing a kill-your-neighbor, race-war-loving, God-hating Marxist religion at Loyola Academy. The proof follows that this is, in fact, what you have done.
