Call me a boomer, feature creature, etc., but it’s really not the inherent concept that they like buttholes and penis, and is indeed due to the fact that they make it known to everyone. Gayness should be a matter of shame and don’t-ask-don’t-tell. Homosexuals have arisen through many walks of life and frankly I’m willing to lend validity to most of their homosexual statuses. This isn’t due to the me respecting it (I don’t) but rather because I consider their general withdraw from regular people and the gene pool to be an agreeable condition. Especially when one considers that the other option is to reform these rape victims, these porn addicts, or just simply the mentally ill and ask people with such fucked up wiring to now birth and raise children and interact with regular society because the Bible or something. I think their divorce from regular human beings is just fine by me. Of course, the problem is that the notion of them being a separate societal group is purely on paper. They stick their noses in everything (both figuratively and literally), some fueled by attempting to establish an identity, some fueled by fetishes of “converting” a straight person, some fueled by, well, considerably worse sexual desires. That is what supremely annoys me with gay people. They don’t go to Gay Island and give each other AIDS to their heart’s content. They stay because they want to subvert the traditional norms revolving around sexuality and family that offend them so deeply (said norms especially offend the ones who were raped as kids because to them, it’s proof that a world built on said norms is hollow in its sincerity and still wants to reject them after it “betrayed” them, and they therefore want to tear this down), or they just want to fuck kids. One common knock against homosexuality is one I do not buy into, however, that being it “isn’t natural.” It moves the goalposts as now you have to litigate what the Hell even is “natural.” Natural to the Bible? Or any other cultural formations at the time? Those that we know of have only been around for a small portion of human existence, and even then they came during a time that could be considered by the standards of prehistory to be hypermodern with its innovations of, you know, books and such. Claims of “RETVRN” would have been just as valid then as they are now. And return to what? What is natural to man?

I have a feeling we can pretty much nail down most of man’s existence by looking at hunter-gatherer tribes and extrapolating that onto various biomes and peoples and such. If going by that, then we’ve pretty much been unnatural since someone figured that you can put seeds in the ground once a year and build a permanent lodging.

But is it not natural to man to constantly be in a state of change and progress? The idea of this baseline human irks me, because we have no previous iteration of civilizational progress at the scale of humanity’s whole history to work with. What humanity is, ya know just… is, and is inherently “natural.”

It’s easy to look at a 350 pound tranny drawing Loud House OC’s or whatever and say “Dear God, that is terribly unnatural. I hope it’s raped to death by a pack of escaped silverback gorillas.” I mean, is it? This creature who is a subject of man’s inherent constant change and progress (albeit not always good or progress towards something conducive to societal health) isn’t a clear expression of this particular human quality at the extreme?

With the exit of the divine from the modern human everyday mind we’ve proven that people simply find something they can slap godlike qualities and theological principles onto. That even the divine isn’t really “natural” to man but rather that we just always seek what we believe to be powerful and in command of the world around us to be worthy of our devotion. The State, post-WWII morality, the perceived collective opinion, these have replaced God in steadfast for most people with relative ease. Not one priest was killed nor one church razed in the process (at least in the States). People simply no longer felt God was as present in their lives as these entities. We see that presence/relevance is basically the chief decider for what seems to be most religions. Hunter gatherers look to animals, agrarians looked to the weather, urbanites to gods of things such as war, the forge, and wine. Frankly it’s shocking Abrahamism has truly stuck the way it has for so much of history. I guess a universal monodeity makes it pretty easy to point to anything relevant to you, but even then many Christians ended up with patron saints of what seems like everything from horseshoes to hand grenades.

I really think for the right to proceed in a post-divine world without having retards hitched to it like a plow, it has to go one of two paths: Total Christian fundamentalism. Everything is the way it is through what the Bible has to say. It provides the idea of Man’s Nature and that’s enough. This was in fact the way things were for a while and we therefore know is viable to maintain civilization. The only problem is that that particular way of life also saw a demise, and one would have to strategize plugging the holes that resulted in the Christian world’s epicenter in Europe going Godless if they hope to not suffer the same fate. The other? Well, call me cliche but I think that Hitler fellow and his chums were introducing something pretty neat. Maybe we could expand upon that instead of immediately killing it.

This ended up being sort of tailing away from the original point, but I’ve been sitting in a truck for 10 hours with probably 4 more to go. And I feel bad for not posting any coal for my ever-faithful subscribers to mine as of recent. If you leave this with anything, I’d say do not go around calling modernistic things “unnatural.” If a human is practicing it, then it’s within our nature. If you want to be relativistic with it and say other cultures’ notion of nature is different to yours, then whatever. But don’t expand and say anything a human has done is unnatural to humans as a whole. Just opens up a whole can of semantic worms that will eat your penis. Yeah, gross. Don’t let it happen.

Loserdemic

I have been of the firm belief that 2020-2021 and COVID made the world retarded.

Bum Ass

I have been of the firm belief that 2020-2021 and COVID made the world retarded. This belief is incorrect. This just happened to be around the time I got old enough to have enough of an ego to declare myself able discern the world around me wholly. The world has probably been retarded for much longer than I could put my finger on reliably. Regardless, 2020-2021 was surely the date I carved on the headstone for my hope for people. Now funny enough despite that I never really experienced a real shutdown outside of school. I lived in a town of 2000 and me, my parents, and all my friends’ parents really couldn’t care in the least. I actually remember that summer quite fondly, lots of fishing, first times getting drunk, walking onto golf courses after hours and just playing a few balls at a time, watching a friend kill 300+ seagulls over the year, quasi-dated (to the extent a 15-year old can) a cute neighbor girl with to this day the most ridiculous ass I’ve ever seen on a thin white girl, best kisser I’ve met too, it was good times had by all. Except for my grandpa who get diabetes, cancer, multiple infections in the kidneys, urinary tract, intestinal damage, the flu and covid at the same time. He lives to this day. Oh, and except for those seagulls, I guess.

So when people talk about this shift from 2019-2020, this shift from every day having the sun shine to samsara, I don’t really feel it. I guess I dodged basically all of it except it did make me remember iFunny existed, and therefore is the reason I write this today. I didn’t feel that change in the air except for one thing, the people both around me and on my screen. There was a deadly disease spreading in 2020, and it was loserdom.

The stats back it up. Looking at various estimates, I’d bet 10-15% of western young adults are NEETs. Screen usages have spiked since Covid and not fallen, 41% of teens report >8 hours on their screens a day. But do you really need numbers to confirm it for yourself? Using anecdotal evidence is like bad or something but if you are thinking that when I speak of my anecdotes, how about you kick rocks pal. And then get raped by feral gorillas.

I’m in the unique position to be able to spin yarn on truly the bottom and upper crusts of the little pieces of society I’ve experienced so far. I am lucky to have some friends who are what I would consider to be varying degrees of Chad. Guys who have had women threaten suicide if they did not fuck them, killed deer with screwdrivers, beat the shit out of people in fights, and flat out just never had a hard day in their lives because the world is easy to them. These are good guys to be friends with, because they make the world better around them. I can tell you that COVID didn’t slow any strides for them. They weathered it without so much as shrugging because it’s what winners do. It’s instinctual, it’s without any degree of self awareness, no thought is given into the act of success or succeeding itself, they just did things. It provided me a perspective of another world, a perspective I desperately needed to see because I needed to see good in the world.

You see, I was in speech, debate, knowledge bowl, and Civil Air Patrol in high school. Not as bad as theater, but speech had a lot of overlap with that crowd.

Speech was easily the most intolerable. If I wasn’t good at it, I would’ve never touched it. I did meet the hottest woman I’ve met on my speech team, which made things better, but that was a candlelight on a new moon night. I’ve seen faggots you people wouldn’t believe, crossdressers with lisps get bids to the state tournament. I watched fat gay niggers strike poses in all-white suits and dykes PDA near the judge lounge gate. All of these faggots will be lost in time, like most speech chicks’ eggs.

It was bad to the point where I really adopted a whole new persona in speech. I’m outgoing, my coach originally recruited me for humor. One week and I switched categories to the hardest, most autistic one I could find. Just like that I put on the character of a cold autist. Literally anything to dissuade chances of conversation with the worst people you could imagine. Mentally ill arthousers, redditoids, Indians, fat women, ugly women, the whole shabang. In this I avoided interaction but was still forced into observation. When they say there are whole other worlds out there, they’re not kidding. Every little thing was cause for hysterics from these people, AO3 was probably more commonly read than their scripts. Screaming their heads off when a teammate got a 5th place finish. Crying for various reasons. It’s like every little piece of life was this microcosm of the greatest trials and tribulations they could imagine, probably because by their standards, those were. I’d find myself conversing with people who in any other world were actual retards, but in the standards of who you meet in speech, were like frat brothers.

Debate was basically similar on all ends except now these kids were wannabe cutthroat lawyering you. I recall the session shooting down a proposed bill banning undersea mining, and the girl who wrote it storming out and sobbing violently for 20 minutes. We had to console her, and in her tears she just explained that she couldn’t believe we couldn’t see how bad undersea mining was. She was that enveloped.

Knowledge bowl was different in some ways. You know the outgoing nerd? The extrovert who really should probably hang his head a little more? Yeah, that’s knowledge bowlers for ya. Everybody there was always down to do things that were in spirit the same kind of thing as going to the barcade. Everybody wanted to be your friend. Now, knowledge bowl was probably amongst the best I saw in nerd world, there were actually competent nerds and the occasional regular dude. The women were okay too. Not so bad compared to everything else.

Civil Air Patrol was basically a daycare for homeschooled tools. It’s funny because there was some serious people in there, kids who are now flying jets or are nuclear engineers, but they were the 0.0000001%ers.

Albeit unlike the disingenuously accepting, socially (womanly, basically) scheming masses of speechers, these kids were actually good in the heart, just retarded. One of our barrack lockers still had a vape in it left over by a Guardsman and everybody was genuinely too afraid to touch it, or even go within 5 feet of it. When I threw it in the trash and said it wasn’t that big of a deal and that I have some friends who vape, I was told I need better friends. I don’t think I necessarily saw kids who were supposed to be failures by their nature, but their circumstances of obviously overbearing parents and being locked away from the world was going to make them get fucked over by adjusting to the real world a lot later than everyone else.

Now, am I a dick harping on nerds, the uncool, and the weird? Yes. I am kind of a dick. And I like to complain about people who unnerve me. But I bring these up not as actual examples of losers but as perhaps the most sobering, horrifying thought yet. Those kids I mentioned, utter rough masses, those fags, freaks, shutaways, etc., those kids went out and did something.

Everyone I’ve described has had hobbies, interests, initiative, experience in competitions or structured teamwork settings, all strong indicators of a non-loser. All these people tried at something, and even got better at something. You want to talk about there being separate worlds? Yeah, the world of the emotionally unstable pantsuit speech girls henhousing over 4/10 men is one far, far detached from you. But you know it’s there. You’ve been near it more often than you may realize. These types of people, they’re losers but not loser-losers. They’ll probably get jobs and stuff. There are worlds you never know of and it’s because there are people who have stopped existing. I can think of a few people I knew of who had/have no world to speak of as it is. People who don’t just not register on normal people’s radars, but anyone’s. People who have lost, who simply don’t know what a win is. A few suicides in my town have been these poor souls. Nobody knew em. They never made themselves known. They never made anything, and then they were gone. I fear we have more of those than we realize. I fear we don’t have an NPC or mentally ill public freak problem as much as we do human equivalents to the unenterable buildings that line the streets in GTA 5. I fear that so many souls were lost in the minute waves of COVID that didn’t realize they could just lift their head from the water.

You definitely see it online. Go to any comment/reply section on just about any media and you find hollow hordes. I’m not talking bots, either. COVID’s kill count will always be inflated. But honestly, it gets made up for by those who went MIA. I can only hope the world improves and maybe the nothings of the world can come forth, but there’s state of current things implies we shall see it only more than ever. Increasing unemployment and AI companionship come to mind. Lots a bullets are going to get eaten methinks. Make sure you’re not one.

To Disconnect

Old Man Yells at Cloud, and is Right in Doing I’ve requested Substack’s TTS twice and have been denied.

Boomers are a truly tragic generation. They took a world ripe for the forming, and made it into a truly hellish land. I don’t like them but I can’t say I do enjoy hating them as much as others seem to. Their generation was spoiled, yes. They met at the perfect convergence of American history where they were not en masse being epigenetically turned into a scattered landscape of endocrine-dysfunctional freaks, and widespread technology making life easier and more fun. They lived the American dream. They lived in a world where one could realistically do all the things they always proclaim the damned youths must do, bootstrap mentality and whatnot. They have also seen progression that must seem incomprehensible to them. They were born into the world of the carburetor and now live in a world where they cannot be sure if an image they’re seeing on Facebook is generated by AI or not. Easy for the trained online man’s eye, but not so much for people who were smoking on airplanes. Perhaps this is why they don’t even seem to be from the same culture as us, they’re all almost foreign. This, compounded with their failures as a generation, makes us young people reluctant to listen to their advice, and most of the time for good reason. No, grandpa, I cannot simply buy a house off of one income. I cannot fix a car issue when the issue itself lies within software I cannot access. I cannot simply woo the first woman I see by being what would be considered by today’s standards an aggressive pervert. Much less even if I could, hypergamy and the depreciation of the average woman’s value (therefore inflation of value for any woman below 140 pounds), makes it so much more difficult to present oneself as a good partner for a quality woman. There is one criticism, however, that der boomer has hit a bullseye on. One that, due to their nature of being untrustworthy in their advice, many have dismissed. Really a tragedy of a generation, they built a world in which the elderly are nowhere near as respected, and in doing so have made sure what little wisdom they possess goes ignored. The wisdom is something I’m sure you and I have heard uncountable times: goddamn kids and their phones.

SHOCKING NEWS! Consooming all day is actually bad for you, and you shouldn’t do it. Keep in mind from here on that when I say “using your phone” I’m referring to the unproductive, thoughtless shit-trudging that is using a social media or another form of entertainment that parasitically profits the longer and harder you dedicate your time and mind to it. I myself have had problems with phone usage, whether it be looking at it during dinners or when I’m in a car or other social setting where I should be interacting. I still have issues with it today, though I’ve been working on them. I get why people get so bad with it. It’s an escape to a world more stimulating and more hand-crafted to please your mind and interests than just about any irl person could hope to create. I’m not really worried about anyone reading this, you’re most likely chuddy enough to not be a TikTok doomscrolling creature with a silly putty brain. Though you still may find yourself doomscrolling in periods of boredom, and should stop that, you aren’t outright addicted. I fear for the normie. I fear for those who have never created anything of creative value either on the internet or in real life. I fear for those who lack any imaginative power because their minds are constantly occupied.

It’s not just a boomerist complaint here either about “muh brainrot” or “le soul-sucker” there is legitimate mental concern. For starters, those with heavy phone usage tend to have lower volumes of grey matter within their brain. Grey matter is good. You want to have plenty of it, because if it starts going away, you’re going to be a dementia-ridden pantshitting burden when you’re older. Dementia appears to be a punishment for a lifetime of idlemindedness, though there are other factors at play. Grey matter degeneration is directly linked to basically any form of dementia, and not shockingly, as our generations of old people continue to come from times more advanced, where they had more brain-idling stimuli in their lifetimes through TV and whatever social media they could fit in last minute, we’re seeing bonkers increases in rates of Alzheimers. From 1999-2019, we went from 140ish people per 100K dying to Alzheimers, to 260ish. From 2013 to 2017 we saw rates of early-onset Alzheimer’s skyrocket. The younger the age group, the worse it was. Ages 30-44 saw a diagnosis increase of 402% over just those 4 years. That being said, the numbers were still insignificant, it went from 0.1 people per 10K to 0.6, so no you probably won’t be forgetting your wife’s name on your 40th birthday, but the increase is still a shock. We see the rates lessen but still damn near doubling at a 90% increase in cases amongst those aged 55-64. It’s not even the increases that scare me so much, you can to a degree assist against grey matter degeneration in your brain. A study found older subjects increased grey matter activity in the hippocampus simply by playing Super Mario 64. So good news for you platformercels out there. It also said action-oriented games did not have a similar effect. So while it can’t be just any game, it seems like if you’re playing a thought-inciting, focus-requiring, puzzle-solving game, you’re essentially training it. So I’d guess you Paradox Interactive chuds are probably fine, but the jury’s still kinda out on everything except for Mario 64. Gamers rise up.

I kinda digressed from the point of disconnection, but I hope you get it. A constantly entertainment-inundated mind is one that eventually forgets where it is. We’re seeing proof of this as the more and more entertained generations grow more forgetful. I think, barring medical advancement, that we’ll see dementia become the new cancer in our culture. Everyone will know someone who had it and died from it, they’ll hold benefits, a school will have a speaker come in and make everybody raise a hand if they know someone who died from it, etc.. You’ll probably visit a parent or an uncle, or even in your later years a friend or sibling, who won’t remember you. I am of the belief that if you want to increase your chances of surviving this rising tide, you must begin disconnecting yourself from the world of entertainment-based medias NOW! I don’t just mean when it is a scroll hell or something, but even something as simple as thinking to yourself hmm, I have to do a mundane task, I’ll put on a podcast, stop doing that. Stop suppressing your mind. You’re not creating thought, neural pathways, or anything when you do that shit. Podcasts are le bad if overdone. They’re doing the thinking for you. Now I am a hypocrite, I do dabble in putting on an audio-substack when working or lifting sometimes, but I try and limit myself to about a half hour of so. Otherwise I become too inundated with so much of other people’s words, words I’d have an easier time comprehending if I just read them instead. Music is a bit different to me, frankly I don’t think it’s that bad for the brain. In fact le medical experts say to listen to music during your life can actually help fight aging and engage neural pathways. Of course I’m sure there’s a difference. Beethoven probably does more for the brain than Lil Uzi Vert.

To disconnect is essential to anyone looking to improve their lives. Hours of your day returned to you. Hours to let your mind wander and either create or suggest. To suppress your mind all day is the act of someone who is mentally ill. Someone who wants their pathological brain to be interacting with them as little as possible. We see this in people who need to rip a cart just to go to sleep, because God forbid they rediscover how horrifyingly fast sapient, sober thoughts can rush through one’s mind when they’re not doing anything at night. Now, as a 5’ 0.5”, 94 pound chud, I can understand why people may wish to be distracted from their very selves, but people who do this are hardly even a human. Your brain and mind are good! They are a part of you and a manifestation/reflection of your soul!

There is another grievance with social media usage, that being that it can put a person in a malaise of “meh” insincere happiness. They’re content because they give their mind no time to sow discontent. The only time they’re not using their phone is when something equally or more stimulating is going on. It’s probably why school is producing worse test scores. To those lamenting brown people, I’ll get on that in a bit. The students are even more bored than ever. School used to be boring, yes, but is now on another echelon of boring to the overstimulated. You see their many escapes from the dreariness all day, whether it be sleeping during class, always having an earbud in, or quite literally just looking at their phones. I get it, school sucks, and frankly I’m not worried about normies failing public school, it’s a sham as it is. But it is sad to see some otherwise smart people not realize their academic potential because their brain is conditioned to hate the idea of the boredom school creates.

On that whole brown people thing, as we all know, browns love their noise. Can’t get enough of it. Whatever they’re doing must be drum-rupturingly loud. I theorize their evolution in the festering bird-cacophonic jungles of Mesoamerica, the Congo, and the Mekong perhaps made their cultures find being loud to be a necessary thing. I don’t really understand it, but it also means they’re used to constant audio stimulation. The switch to constant audiovisuals really wasn’t that jarring for most brown kids, probably. Now they occupy much of the internet. They’ve kinda single-handedly made non-gaming-centric streamers’ careers, go ahead and look at the meetups of people like Speed, Kai Cenat, etc., they are children from the Loud Peoples. They enjoy these streams because they’re lengthy and they allow them to turn what little of a brain they had off for longer periods of time than shorter forms like YouTube, and be rewarded by entertaining programming made by and for fellow Loud Peoples. You also see a lot of brown kids doing the previously mentioned earbud thing, and if not brown it’s typically a wigger-adjacent kid doing it.

Mass social media usage has also been decaying individuality for most regular people. For a few, it can help them blossom, but for most, they’re swept away in the storm surge of popular culture. Everyone knows the same jokes, has the same senses of humor, Christ even having the same accent at this point. We are becoming a consumer monoculture, we’ve known this for some time, but we don’t point our fingers at our phones enough for it.

Screens are also turning the youth-youth’s brains into penis poop. brought this point up once I think, that is that the younger kids are no longer connecting their being with their physical form. Their online presences and avatars are just as much extensions of themselves as their bodies. It’s why they’re so quickly receptive to lunacies such as troonism and even furries. Not to mention, consider all the bad things it does to the brain, and apply it to brains that are much more young, developing, and malleable. And teachers are wondering why their first graders can’t even spell two-syllable words yet.

To conclude, screens and consumption without thought is… le bad! It’ll in a literal sense, cause your brain to rot and you’ll end up a demented piece of retard garbage. You should want to grow old, because you can grow wise! We need more wise people. We’re witnessing consumption-centric lives tear apart people in real time. The first-world public is becoming more mentally damaged and insane every day. Ted Kaczynski, despite being a goddamned Pole, was a smart guy sometimes and I believe he was right about oversocialization. He wrote about that before social medias were even a thing, look at the socialization now. Life for the average person is revolving around just about anything other than themselves. Culture is suffering, introspection is dead, people are suffering, the old and young alike are undergoing catastrophic changes to their brains from this new age of the screen and stimuli. If you are looking to maintain focus, if you’re looking to improve upon yourself, if you’re looking to produce thought and creativity, you must disconnect. Your mind unshackled can do incredible things.

A Look Into Black Christianity

And on da 8th day, the LAWD data-component-name="ButtonCreateButton">Subscribe now

According to Pew Research, blacks are the most heavily Christian-identifying group in America. Yes, they’re even more Christian than our adorable little Latinxs. However if you’re reading my substack, you’re quite aware of how they aren’t quite adherent to the religion. Their actions and popular culture reflect that quite well. Why is that? Well, I hope to help come to an answer for that, my nappy-headed, future surgeon and rocket scientist brothas and sistas.

Boy, get yo ass up! It’s Sunday and we gon be late!

Yes momma, who suspiciously looks like acclaimed comedian Tyler Perry.

The first reason for religion in the black community not dying is their women. Plain and simple. Black women, after their period of child-bearing is over, quickly convert from Baby Momma to full time-Mammy. This change is intense, quick, and irreversible. Much like a locust, their grandmarious phase sees them quickly build mass and increase metabolism. There is a reason, however, that I didn’t say that their child-rearing phase was over, despite usually being grandmas by the time they get deep into the church. They won’t really stop rearing them. There will always be a son or daughter who is either working, imprisoned, etc. and will hand the child off for at least weeks’ worth of a year. In this time, the child learns the greatest and most common rule of every single group of African diaspora culture. Respect your elders. When big momma says go to church, you go to church. When big momma says to say your prayers, boy you best say those prayers. Lest you learn the second-largest common theme of African diaspora cultures (corporal punishment of children). It doesn’t take long for the grandmother’s faith, a trait they have because their grandma before them had it, to soak into the child. It especially helps when the higher-IQ black men in their communities typically are religious, and many are mammy-browbeaten throughout their lives. They become the embodiment of “the one nigga in church who don’t play about God” meme as kids. They stay that way their whole lives, eventually becoming either clergy or at least volunteers. Black women are the backbone of passing on the religion to boys and girls alike, and are of course well known for keeping their liveliness in the churches alive. That liveliness brings us to a second bit.

It’s just groovy, honey!

Simply put, I’m pretty sure the average black southerner would go into a state of catatonia if they had to endure boring ass wypipo church. Frankly I don’t blame them. Brown people cultures are cacophonic to endure an activity without noise is, for whatever reason, difficult to impossible. Black churches famously make sure to have some noise in there. Whether it be the hooping and haah-ing pastor/reverend, the, in comparison to other sects, rather raucous congregation songs, or the gospel choir tossing their torsos around in a manner similar to Animal from the Muppets, it’s rambunctious and to the more lib-oriented mind, fun. It most definitely keeps morale up higher than say, white peepo churches do, regardless of the quality of the sermons or actual knowledge of doctrine. Once black people have experienced church, they don’t see much reason to stop. You get to see everybody, and to them it can be quite fun. They do like their music and swangin grooviness. Sometimes I myself fantasize my 5’ 3” 102-pound pathetic chud frame being amongst the great mass of flesh in that gospel choir, sing lawd and hand jiving.

Muhrality. Or sum shit.

Black women in particular, especially once they grow old, have a social pressure to love Jesus the most. A competitive social environment dominated by women is no shocker, but the competition itself is silly. Instead of the longhouse, they have the beauty salon and the church kitchen. The competition is simple, who can love Jaysus da most? Love and devotion to the Lawd is the basis for morality in their communities. It doesn’t necessarily matter what you actually do that adheres with Biblical doctrine. You can lie, be a glutton, etc., do you love the Lawd? Then you on your way to heaven, my childun’. This extends past their henhouses, however. Something like 98 percent of blacks believe in a higher power, and a great majority believe the lawd will judge them one day as well. That judgement functions less like the actual function of the concept of the Lord’s judgement, and more like really the only way they know how to be judged by a greater power. Their elders. Yes, teachers, police, etc. may judge them but they see none of those institutions as bearing any sort of moral legitimacy they way they see the values of their elders. God to them is the prime-elder, the Pops of pops’s, the all-Unc. If they don’t listen he gon beat they ass, but similar to how black parents threaten that, only for the kids to not listen and get they ass beat for short-term ideas that require little action-to-consequence thought, this is a whole life for them to not think about consequences but always have an authority through which they can have a valid moral compass because they’re under threat of getting their ass beat.

Voodoo, but wit’ a cross or sumn

With this cultural perception of God, it may come to no shock that there are folk-ish aspects to black Christianity. It comes down to two key factors, the first being that of evil spirits and demons. A majority of blacks believe in evil spirits and also that they can have direct implications upon the physical world. Frankly, this one is just kind of a “bad juju” holdover from their folk-ish religions. In many African folk religions much of the mythology is just spirits doing things, and with Christianity they simply replaced the titles of said spirits. Frankly, this part doesn’t matter much. Just kind of an easy scapegoat for when bad things happen The more impactful factor of their different aspects they hold is easily their idea of God’s impact upon the physical world. Theirs is not one of worship and deeds that are thereby received by God and he then graciously acts towards them, it is once again like they’re treating him like the all-parent. They simply go to him like children and either ask for superficial goods or just to fix something. A great example of this is that very famous lawyer Reddit post on blacks, wherein the women around a community where a black kid is going under prosecution don’t actually do anything, they just say “the lawd gon free him and take care of it all.”

In the end, I’d say the religion is beneficial for their communities, but to onlookers I say do not be fooled. It is not white people Christianity, or in my opinion even a true form of Christianity. This essay was admittedly not very informative, and built more for jej’s which I hope you had some of.

The lawd freed us all befo. He gon free us all again. He gon gibs us all dat, and he gon make errythang aight. Crispy chicken, yes honey!

Thanks for reading Mister’s Substack!
