Introduction

This is a short reflection piece on how current Pop Culture trends highlight the widespread prevalence of Passive Men and Nagging Women (the Ahab and Jezebel Spirits) in Modern Society. Namely, I am speaking specifically about the video game GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto 6) and Drake’s recent dating show appearance when he chose to “marry” a Goth Girl influencer (a highly sexualized one I may add.)

GTA 6 is under fire from BOTH men and women for the relationship dynamic between the two main playable characters, Lucia and Jason. The GTA franchise is considered a classic in the video game world. GTA mastered the open-world game model (such as the classic RuneScape and World of Warcraft franchises from Blizzard Studios.) GTA expanded the marketability of video games as a legitimate, big-money industry (GTA 5 sold literally millions of copies and made Rockstar Games around $ 11 billion!) GTA became infamous for truly scandalous and raunchy content within their games (players could simulate shooting up pedestrians and get “intimate” with sex workers…”Hot Coffee”..)

Drake is objectively one of the most successful pop artists of all time. Drake has produced probably the most hits of any artist in history (on par with the Beatles and Michael Jackson.) Drake is included in the “Big 3” of the most successful and best hip-hop artists of his generation, along with Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. I don’t believe I need to elaborate on Drake’s success and fame; it's well known. It should be known that Drake was once known as “Wheelchair Jimmy” from the show Degrassi as well…However, in both GTA 6 and Drake, we see a collapse in their image and status due to controversies over their endorsement of Weak and Passive Men alongside Insufferable and Nagging Women. What is known in the Christian tradition as the Ahab and Jezebel Spirits. Let us begin and see why.

What are the Ahab and Jezebel Spirits?

Ahab and Jezebel are central figures in the Bible books of 1 and 2 Kings. Ahab is the king of the Northern Kingdom of the Children of Israel who marries a foreign woman named Jezebel. Jezebel’s name actually means “Lover of Ba’al.” In Ancient times (even today in places like Epstein Island and Diddy’s parties), Baal was a pagan god that required child sacrifice, was related to sexual perversion, and was worshipped for the sake of “prosperity” in material luxuries and worldly goods. In short, Ba’al is widely considered to be a demonic entity related to love of the Material World (dunya in Arabic) and the Chaotic Feminine.

Jezebel was a Canaanite woman (Canaan being an area where Ba’al worship was common), and her marriage to Ahab is an Archetypical example of one between an Aggressive, Insufferable, and Domineering “Nagging” woman (i.e., the Girl Boss era Modern Women and Feminists) and a Passive and Weak man in Ahab (such as Simps and Blue Pill betas.) Ahab is a Broken Masculine man, whereas Jezebel is a Chaotic Feminine woman.

The main reason is that Ahab was a man who was supposed to live according to the Law and Order of Divine Masculine Light in the Torah (worship of the One God of Abraham), but submitted to his Ba’al-worshipping wife Jezebel. Ba’al worship was in complete contradiction to the Laws and values of Ancient Israel. The reader does not have to believe in any of these deities. The main point is that a man grounded in his Divine Masculine core should never forfeit his values, purpose, and mission for anyone or anything! Especially a rude and domineering Jezebel Spirit woman! We see this toxic relationship dynamic of Ahab and Jezebel play out in Jason and Lucia from GTA 6, and Drake with his Goth wife.

GTA 6: NPC Jason and Nagging Lucia

GTA 6 has an Ahab-Spirit man in Jason, and a Jezebel-like woman in Lucia. From the footage and even the developers’ own statements, I don’t see how any other conclusion than that can be reached! The problem with this aggressive push to make every piece of pop culture content, from films to video games, saturated with truly unnecessary virtue signals for what have been called “Woke” values and morals is that it has made people hate them more than ever before! The GTA franchise (and video games IN GENERAL) was always very much a “bro” culture thing. I myself have not played video games for years, but they were a huge part of my upbringing, for sure. Some of my best memories still are LAN parties, going to Internet Cafes to play CS and Warcraft 3, and the epic Super Smash Melee and Halo 2 tournaments with tons of pizza and soda! Oh, the good old days…

While I never played any GTA game myself, enough of my friends did that I would never imagine a girl playing it! Let alone a GTA game where you had to be in a relationship with a woman that no self-respecting man would even want to date in real life (IRL)! I actually think there are strong academic and intellectual arguments that disprove whether a “Patriarchy” (as Feminists in all Waves define it) ever truly existed! However, if you take away every space and pastime that men want to enjoy as men (from GTA to gyms), the “Patriarchy” is going to become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Facts.

If anything, there has been a concerted and intentional effort to dismantle men-only spaces in Western society. Men’s-only spaces are seen as exclusive, threatening, and “cesspools” of Patriarchy that Chaotic Feminists fear most. I am personally sick of going to gyms that have become nothing but strip clubs. I am tired of just trying to go to a grocery store without having to lower my gaze from the most sexualized and immodest women in existence. Men crave peace more than anything else, and Feminism has brought nothing but Chaos to the world. We can’t even go to video games to escape these Chaotic and insufferable women- like Lucia in GTA 6!

What is worse, they have virtually destroyed every space where men can just be men with other men. Also, I don’t understand how there can be literally thousands of pronouns, yet the WNBA can’t decide what a woman is! Make it make sense. Please. This is why GTA 6 is upsetting so many men AND women (ironically.) This now takes us to Drake and how some are describing the modern world as “the worst time in history for self-respecting men.”

Drake and his Goth Wife: “Good Boy!”

Drake recently was on a streamed dating show. Drake was given the choice of around 20 women and had to choose 1 to pipe, one to like (be friends with), and one to wife. I mean, this is brain rot slop of the lowest order! I personally think Drake is too above this, even after Kendrick Lamar annihilated him in their rap beef! However, Drake somehow made his image even worse when he barked on command for a Goth chick by the name of a Pinkchyu. I can’t make this up…I am ready for the Zombie Apocalypse now!

As expected, Drake got tons of hate and jokes made about him online! I don’t think anyone who wants to make it big in the age of social media can avoid this. However, Drake degrading himself to bark for a Goth chick is beyond embarrassing and demeaning, given that he is a legitimately successful artist with tons of money! Drake could rightfully be considered a “High Value Man”, so why is he belittling himself in such a disgraceful manner?! I understand there is a marketing side to this. Let’s be honest, mostly women like Drake. During the rap beef between Drake and Kendrick, it was a running joke (yet kinda true) that all the men sided with Kendrick, and all the women sided with Drake. Facts.

Glazing and overinflating your main demographic's ego makes sense business-wise. I get it. Yet, to make a mockery of manhood and to make the worst type of women think they are “the prize” is destructive to society and the family. Drake dropped thousands of dollars on his Goth wife and Lena “The Plug.” Lena is an actual pornstar who is married, yet Drake found it proper to offer her a fully paid vacation worth thousands of dollars…There is a reason men sided with Kendrick. In essence, Drake contributes to the spread of the Ahab Spirit among young men today. He also is making Jezebel Spirit women think they are queens…when in reality they are what was once called whores, sluts, and the worst form of women possible. Streetwalkers and Chaotic Feminine demons. Facts. This brings us to the next section.

Conclusion

In closing, there is a big problem with a culture and society filled with Ahab Spirit men and Jezebel-like Chaotic women. They are destructive to families, and even worse for kids. We are seeing the most extreme (hopefully the last) example of this in the current Lindsay Clancy trial. Lindsay Clancy has been accused of killing her 3 children by strangulation with exercise bands: Cora (age 5), Dawson (age 3), and Callan (8 months.) This is the most horrendous and vile form of human behavior imaginable. Period.

Yet, Modern Chaotic Feminine women filled with the Jezebel Spirit have made Lindsay Clancy an icon for Feminism. It goes without saying we live in truly insane times. Yet when we look at history, we will see how Ba’al worshippers ( including Jezebel herself) literally sacrificed kids for worldly and material gains. What is worse is that men like Ahab allowed and tolerated such demonic and cruel behaviors and practices by submitting and bowing down to such evil women (and people in general.)

This is why I believe the Jehu Spirit is Rising, and this is a good thing. Jehu was the King who literally overthrew Jezebel and reinstated Divine Masculine Light, order, and leadership in society. Divine Masculine men protect and honor women and children. Ahab Spirit men degrade society and leave children vulnerable to harm. I personally believe the rise of the true Mary Magdalene Spirit of Sacred Feminine Beauty is also responsible for Jehu's Spirit Rising. The Divine Masculine Light can only rise with and beside Sacred Feminine Beauty. Kings and Queens are “similarly yolked” for one another. Both love and value the lives of kids and families. Always. Peace.

Introduction

Among the most well-known and “popular” Mental Illnesses (as classififed in our Modern Western and Broken Healthcare System), ADD and ADHD have for a long time been on that list. ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) are much more common in young men and have received notorious reputations. Both have been seen as byproducts of bad parenting, Mental Health Myths (literally), and have garnered a massive amount of references in pop culture. The official definition of ADD and ADHD in the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) is as follows;

(Neurodevelopmental Disorder) A persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning or development…

ADD and ADHD have been referenced in satires and comedies such as South Park, The Simpsons, and Family Guy. Kendrick Lamar, a modern “Big 3” rapper alongside Coleworld and Wheelchair Jimmy, has a song titled “ADHD.” Big Pharma pills for ADD and ADHD have been dubbed “The Study Drug,” from Adderall, Ritalin, and Concerta. In this piece, I will cover these topics related to ADD and ADHD, their relation to the Mutant Kingdom concept of Visionary Mutant Geniuses (also at times called Absent Minded Professors), and how it relates to the overall Vision of Mutant Kingdom. Let us begin!

Mental Illness: ADD and ADHD

I personally have found the South Park episode dedicated to ADHD and Big Pharma pills to be the best critique on this subject. South Park identifies the most common perceptions and views related to ADHD as a Mental Illness. They also cover the side effects of the relevant Big Pharma drugs. South Park’s episode titled “Timmy 2000” tracks how ADD and ADHD are often overprescribed. Kids are likewise overly medicated with Big Pharma drugs that often make them stale and even delirious with hallucinations. The Big Pharma drug referenced is Ritalin, and the episode launches a scathing critique of the greed and corruption emblematic of Big Pharma and the Broken Healthcare System. I will link some clips from the episode below that highlight these points.

ADD and ADHD are essentially symptoms of being overly distracted, hyper, and an inability to concentrate while sitting still for long periods of time. It is known that ADD and ADHD have higher rates among young boys than girls. I will mention how Big Pharma has framed ADD and ADHD as conditions with a specific set of symptoms, without any statement on what causes these “Mental Illnesses” and why we should consider these diagnoses and defects. I have a podcast episode and other related articles outlining the problems and issues inherent in our Broken Healthcare System dominated by what I term “Big Pharma Corp.”

In short, I will mention how Big Pharma is in actuality Allopathy, a Modern Medical Tradition that is supremely focused on symptom management and surgery. Allopathy has proven to be pretty good at treating acute medical conditions (such as a car accident) with its surgical precision. Sadly, the Broken Healthcare System utterly fails to treat and cure the root causes of diseases. Big Pharma Corp has a profit incentive to treat symptoms, not cure root causes, as Big Pharma Drug companies and Health Insurance companies make money through the continuous payment of their drugs that only treat symptoms.

While I do believe Mental Health Awareness has grown considerably in recent decades, I still feel the framing of the problem and solution is dominated by the Big Pharma Corp narrative and worldview. I have been both a consumer and professional in Mental Health Treatment and the Addiction Recovery Industry in California. I have seen firsthand that there is a cultural shift (especially among Gen-Z and Millennials) toward Mental Health Advocacy and efforts to destigmatize those who carry Mental Health diagnoses and issues. The rapper Logic has a beautiful song called “1-800-273-8255” dedicated to a Suicide Hotline with that number. Singers such as Demi Lovato and rapper G-Eazy have spoken publicly and in their music about their struggles with Mental Health issues and Addiction Recovery (both being present in the same person is called Dual Diagnosis, which is what I have as well.)

This is why Mutant Kingdom is dedicated to the Vision of a Holistic Healthcare System for “Mutants.” There is a Cultural Movement and rising trend toward treating and normalizing Mental Health and Addiction Recovery issues and struggles. However, there is no mention of how to treat, and even more importantly, heal these apparent disorders. The popular understanding, even among the younger generations, is still that ADD and ADHD (as all Mental Health Disorders) are to be treated by Big Pharma drugs, Therapy sessions, and peer support groups (such as 12 Steps and those in the National Alliance for Mental Illness, or NAMI.)

However, all these proposed “solutions” and “treatments” are limited by the very real downsides and shortcomings of our current Broken Healthcare System owned by Big Pharma Corp. I will link a video below that outlines the mainstream view and narrative around ADD and ADHD. Notice how the video does not mention root causes of ADD or ADHD. There is a stigma and disempowering label attached to those who are diagnosed with ADD and ADHD. The only apparent solutions are within Big Pharm drugs, with no real alternatives stated. This is why Mutant Kingdom advocates for education and awareness of “Mutants”, and how people who are often diagnosed with Mental Health Disorders and even in Addiction Recovery have been considered Gifted and Highly Sensitive Spiritual Mediums in the past. This now brings us to the next section on Visionary Mutant Geniuses, such as Professor John Nash.

Visionary Mutant Geniuses or Mentally Ill?

An “Absent-Minded Professor” is defined as, “Someone who forgets things or does not pay attention to what they are doing, often because they are thinking about something else.” These “symptoms” sound familiar to ADD and ADHD, and definitely describe Professor John Nash who had a “Beautiful Mind.” Professor John Nash was a decorated professor from Princeton University whose groundbreaking idea of “Game Theory” has permanently impacted the study of mathematics and economics. Professor Nash is also honored to have a classic film based on his life named A Beautiful Mind.

The film portrays John Nash’s struggles with Schizophrenia and Mental Illness. The film actually depicts Professor Nash being admitted into a Mental Health hospital on an involuntary hold (called a 5150 hold in California law.) I deeply resonated with Professor Nash’s story and the experience of a Mutant in the Broken Healthcare System of Big Pharma Corp in the Modern West. The film shows the stigma toward Mental Illness and Mutants, the struggles of taking Big Pharma pills for mental illness, and how relationships with those given Mental Illness diagnoses can be challenged (among many other things.)

While Professor John Nash was institutionalized primarily for his Schizophrenic sysmptoms and diagnosis (on which I plan to do a podcast on later this week), I find Professor John Nash’s depiction in A Beautiful Mind to be an artistic example of what it is like to have ADHD. Throughout the film, John Nash is constantly thinking, writing down “strange” ideas, and being hyperfocused and active on everything around him. His obsession with coming up with the next “great idea” drove John Nash to behave as though he was displaying symptoms of ADHD! His genius-level intellect also made him come off as arrogant and conceited! Such are Visionary Mutant Geniuses, such as Steve Jobs and Dr. Doom!

Professor Nash’s brilliance was both a gift and a curse. Especially in our Broken Healthcare System of Big Pharma Corp, John Nash is mislabelled as an ADHD Schizophrenic, rather than the Visionary Mutant Genius he truly is! The unfortunate thing is that even though Professor Nash was already an accomplished Professor before being admitted to a Mental Health hospital, all those accolades were eclipsed and nearly forgotten for being labelled mentally ill and crazy!

This is why Mutant Kingdom is so dedicated to education and understanding, espeically in regards to Mutants, as we are allowing our ignorace and prejudice to isoalte and make outcasts of the very people who are among the most gifted and talented among us- even after they have proven their giftedness and talent! Howver, this does not mean that there are ways to refine and prune the very “symptoms” and attributes of Visionary Mutant Genisues that can become problematic and harmful. This now brings us to the next section on Dr. Gabor Maté’s work on ADHD and how Holistic Healthcare could treat “Mental Disorders” such as ADHD!

Beautiful Minds and Childhood Trauma: Dr. Gabor Maté on ADHD

Dr. Gabor Maté is a world-renowned speaker on Holistic Healthcare, Addiction Recovery, and Childhood Trauma, and is one of the greatest inspirations to the Vision of Mutant Kingdom! I have discussed Dr. Gabor Maté and his ideas in several other pieces of content on the Mutant Kingdom Substack. Dr. Gabor’s ideas and research are very much the basis for central concepts on Mutant Kingdom, most notably Agape Love, Holistic Healthcare, and Mutants as integrated real-life superheroes!

Dr. Gabor Maté’s central thesis is that Childhood Trauma (and other issues stemming from childhood) is the main source and cause of numerous Mental Illnesses and even Addiction. According to Gabor Maté, even ADHD is a direct consequence and result of childhood neglect and children not being raised in secure and stable homes.

In essence, children who do not receive Agape Love from their caregivers, who grow up in homes that feel unstable and unsafe, will almost always develop unregulated nervous systems. This results in children who develop what we label as Mental Health Disorders and Illnesses, and end up as “Kids On Drugs (K.O.D)” who get pumped up with Big Pharma drugs and pills. Broken Homes are deeply entrenched in the society that produces our Broken Healthcare System of Big Pharma Corp. I have linked two podcast interviews where Dr. Gabor Maté discusses these ideas and their relationship to ADHD.

This is what the South Park episode I posted earlier about ADHD and Ritalin was addressing as well.

There is an endemic issue within our Broken Healthcare System of Big Pharma Corp with overmedicating overdiagnosing children (and the general population) for displaying certain symptoms. This is an issue with improper incentives and the refusal (if not the inherent inability) to identify and treat the root causes of these symptoms. Additionally, the root causes are often systemic that stem from unhealthy environments where people do not feel safe, secure, and properly nourished in a Holistic manner (body, mind, AND soul.) This is even more so the case with children, who go on to develop at times lifelong developmental issues that can never be adequately addressed by the prevailing attitude of “a pill for every ill” in the Broken and Big Pharma dominated Healthcare System.

This is why Mutant Kingdom advocates for a Holistic Healthcare System rooted in Natural World Medicine Traditions and the virtues inherent in The Way of Christ (as symbolized in the Mutant Cross X.) This is the purpose and Vision of Mutant Kingdom: to create a Heaven on Earth for Mutants (and EVERYBODY!) through pushing forth a Holistic Healthcare System that embraces, nurtures, and integrates Mutants into larger society for its benefit! Very much like Dr. Charles Xavier's vision (from the X-Men franchise) and his “School for Gifted Youngsters.” This now brings us to the concluding section of this piece.

Conclusion: The Vision of Mutant Kingdom and Agape Love

I end this piece stating that many people we may label as Mentally Ill, Crazy, and Outcast are actually Mutants. Mutants are Gifted Children, Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), Visionary Geniuses who often possess “Beautiful Minds.” Professor John Nash is one such Mutant, and that is why I wanted to honor and celebrate his accomplishments and legacy as a Visionary Mutant Genius! Sadly, he can be reduced (as many Mutants) to simply a Mentally Insane person with Schizophrenia and ADHD symptoms.

Regardless, in Professor John Nash, we see the need for the Vision of Mutant Kingdom, and how Agape Love is Holistic Healthcare. I argue that Alicia Nash, his wife, is the true Main Character of the film A Beautiful Mind. In Alicia, we see how miracles can literally happen through Agape Love relationships. Professor John Nash has a Beautiful Mind as a Visionary Mutant Genius, but Alicia Nash has the Beautiful heart of Sacred Feminine Beauty. Healing happens in relationships, and that is a core concept in Holistic Healthcare and Mutant Kingdom. Rejoice Always! Peace!

Introduction: Victor Von Doom aka Dr. Doom

Stan Lee, the Original creator and writer of Marvel Comics, named Dr. Doom his favorite villain. Dr. Doom has consistently been considered one of the greatest and strongest Villains in the entire Marvel Universe (comics, films, etc.) and among the most powerful Villains in ALL of comics. After doing some research on Dr. Doom, I see massive parallels between him and one of my favorite characters of all time, Anakin Skywalker, a.k.a. Darth Vader.

Victor Von Doom was born in the small town of Doomstadt in the country of Latveria. His mother was a Gypsy (a.ka. Witch, Spiritual Medium, and Mutant) who was steeped and well-versed in the Mystical and Spiritual arts. Victor’s mom, like Witches and Mutants throughout history, was persecuted and hated as an Outcast and Reject of Society. Tragically, Victor’s father was killed not long after, and Victor was left an orphan.

Victor inherited his mother’s Mutant qualities and is a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) himself, who is privy to the Spiritual Realm. Victor kept his mother’s books on Mystical and Spiritual knowledge and over time became one of the most powerful Sorcerers and spiritual mediums in the entire Marvel Universe.

Victor is also a Visionary Mutant Genius who possesses one of the most powerful and greatest minds in the entire Marvel Universe. In his intellectual and mental powers, Dr. Doom rivals the likes of Tony Stark and Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic, one of his arch-rivals). In Dr. Doom’s skill as a Sorcerer and Spiritual Medium, he is on par with Dr. Strange! The guy is stacked and kinda OP (overpowered)- very much like Anakin Skywalker as the Chosen One of the Force. My kind of guy!

Dr. Doom is a complex and tragic character. I love how his devotion toward his mother and the Mother Wound he carries within him drove him to the heights of greatness, power, and success! In addition to being a Visionary Genius and Spiritual Medium of immense power, Dr. Doom is also the ruler of Latveria- his hometown! For this piece on Mutant Kingdom, I want to highlight how Dr. Doom is a Mutant, as defined in Mutant Kingdom. Once again, Dr. Doom is;

He is an Outcast of Society for these reasons, and actually highlights the need for the Vision of Mutant Kingdom. When society fails to accept, nurture, and bless Gifted Mutant Children, they often create the very “monsters” they fear most! Mutant Kingdom is a Vision of a Holistic Healthcare System that embraces and celebrates the pivotal role Mutants have played in great Holistic Health and Natural World Medicine traditions!

Before I begin the rest of the piece, I want to make a clear distinction between Mutant Kingdom’s use of the term Mutant versus Mutants in the Marvel Universe.

Mutants in Mutant Kingdom are Highly Sensitive (HSP), Visionary Geniuses, Gifted Children, and Spiritual Mediums. They have always played a pivotal role in Holistic Healthcare Systems and Natural World Medical Traditions throughout history. The Vision of Mutant Kingdom is to understand Mutants, embrace them, and celebrate their roles as Healers, Spiritual Leaders, and Shamans (among many others!)
Mutants in the Marvel Universe are individuals born with the X-Gene. This gene gives Mutants their superpowers, and they are activated only after traumatic life events.
Both Mutants are Outcasts and feared in their respective societies and worlds.

I also want to mention how Dr. Doom is a great case study of a Neurodivergent individual! This brings us to our next section about Neurodivergents and Visionary Mutant Geniuses!

Neurodiversity and Visionary Mutant Geniuses

Judy Singer created the term and concept of Neurodiversity. Judy herself is a Visionary Mutant Genius whose work on Neurodiversity has drastically altered and changed our understanding of the human mind. Judy’s research has positively impacted our studies on the human mind, Mental Health, psychology, and beyond. The Legacy of Judy Singer is that her work made space for the appreciation of people who think in ways thought odd, crazy, and outside the normative box of society! Judy is very much an inspiration for the Vision of Mutant Kingdom!

Judy came from a Jewish background (Ashkenazi Jew), whose mother was a survivor of the Holocaust and fled Hungary toward Western Europe with her daughter Judy and family. I want to take a quick moment to show gratitude for how many of the Visionary Mutants who inspired the Vision of Mutant Kingdom are Jewish. Namely, Dr. Thomas Szasz, Alice Miller, Dr. Gabor Maté, Rabbi Maimonides, Magneto, and Judy Singer (to name only a few.) Convivencia Always!

It is important to note that there are 3 main terms and concepts of Judy Singer’s work;

Neurodiversity- The idea that the human mind can be composed and made up in very diverse ways, that may differ from what society deems normal. Visionary Genius Mutants would fit in this category (such as Dr. Doom and his mother.) Judy stated she came up with the idea for the term Neurodiversity as a cross between some of the biggest cultural trends of her time- Neuroscience and Biodiversity. Truly Genius!
Neuronormative- The idea that there is a “normal” way the human mind is meant to think and work. Essentially, the non-Mutant mind.
Neurodivergent- An individual whose mind works in ways beyond and unique from what society deems normal and common. Essentially, the Mutant mind and those of Visionary Mutant Geniuses (such as Dr. Doom and Judy Singer.)

I could not do the work and research justice in just this One Piece (no pun intended!), but I do want to emphasize again that Judy Singer’s groundbreaking work and legacy have made the Vision of Mutant Kingdom possible. Judy herself stated her inspiration for coming up with the idea of Neurodiversity and celebrating the Neurodivergents and Mutants of the world was out of love for her mother (a Mutant treated as an Outcast of society), and so no child would have to grow up feeling how she did as a child. To be treated as a Mutant and an Outcast of Society.

Judy believed in the Vision of Mutant Kingdom before I ever thought it up! Judy’s work first focused on those diagnosed with Autism, but has since been a launching pad for Neurodivergents to embrace their Giftedness, their Genius minds, and their Mutanthood as well! Judy believes that all children are special and unique in their own way. It is on society to embrace children for their unique gifts, talents, and neurodiversity! If society fails to do so, it will ultimately create monsters who hate the society that hated them. The Africans have a Proverb, “If the child fails to feel the love of the village, it will burn it down just to feel its warmth.” Choose wisely. This now brings us to the cautionary and inspirational story of Dr. Doom and his beloved Mother.

Conclusion: Dr. Doom and the Vision of Mutant Kingdom

Dr. Doom is driven to the heights of power and status that are unprecedented and unmatched by virtually every single hero and villain in the Entire Marvel Universe, due to his intense Agape Lover of rhis mother. Like Anakin Skywalker, Victor Von Doom’s Mother Wound was inflicted by a society that did not value nor appreciate Mutants for the Gifted Children and Visionary Geniuses they truly are. I am not condoning many of the heinous things Dr. Doom and Darth Vader have done, but as a Mutant who loves his mother, I can completely understand and empathize with their struggle.

Victor Von Doom’s mother was a Mutant Witch herself. A Spiritual Medium between the Spiritual and Material Realms. Victor’s love for his mother drove him to master the Mystical and Spiritual arts of Mutant Witches, to become the formidable Dr. Doom. Dr. Doom is unique in the Marvel Universe for combining the power of Science and witchcraft. Dr. Doom is both one of the most powerful Sorcerers (HSP Mutant and Witch) and one of the greatest scientific minds (Visionary Mutant Genius) simultaneously! There is a great quote by the great American author F. Scott Fitzgerald that goes;

“The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function.”

Dr. Doom then is a true Mutant (as defined in Mutant Kingdom), and it is a tragedy that his powers and abilities could not have been used for good. This is the fault of the society in which he was raised. A society that feared and hated Mutants, Victor’s mother, and drove a Gifted Child Victor to become Dr. Doom. A Villian. Like Darth Vader, the Chosen One of the Force. While we are all responsible for the choices we make, society plays a huge role in forming the context in which those choices are made. Choose wisely.

I want to end this piece by highlighting the need for the Vision of Mutant Kingdom. Mutants are actually real-life superheroes. What is needed is not fear, stigma, and the outcasting of Mutants in society. That only creates problems and Villains that don’t need to be there. Rather, Mutants are the Spiritual Leaders, Shamans, Witches, and Healers we have forgotten in society. Holistic Healthcare Systems and Natural World Medicine Traditions have known this for literally centuries. In fact, Healthcare IS Holistic and was always meant to be led and ruled by Mutants. The Vision of Mutant Kingdom. Always.

Introduction

One Piece is considered a legendary Anime. It is almost always part of the “Big 3” of the greatest Anime. Before I really launch into this piece, let me be perfectly transparent: I am not the biggest One Piece fan. I have always been a huge fan of Vegeta, Hiei, and Joey Wheeler (Yu-Gi-Oh!), but One Piece never caught my attention. Today, One Piece has a special meal option at Popeyes Chicken (with a limited-edition Bento box!) and is featured on the channels of some of my favorite content creators on YouTube (namely Longbeachgriffy, Cilvanis, and Rdcworld1).

For this piece, I am going to focus on the main character of One Piece, Monkey D. Luffy, and his celebrated Gear 5 form (also known as “Joy Boy” and the “Warrior of Liberation.”) As a Mutant who has been in Mental Health Treatment and Addiction Recoveyr myself, I saw immediate parrallels with the Gear 5 form and what is known in the Broken Healthcare System as “Bipolar Disorder.” As a self-identifying Mutant (I say it loud! I say it proud!) I will explore in this piece how my concept of Mutants relates to Mental Health in the West, how Bipolar Disorder is understood as a “superpower” in other cultures that embrace Holistic Healthcare (such as Shamanism), and draw parallels between these discussions and the Anime One Piece written by the legendary writer Eiichiro Oda. Let’s begin!

Mutants and Mental Health

The Vision of Mutant Kingdom is of a Healthcare System based on Holistic and Natural World Medicine Traditions. These Sacred Feminine Traditions of Medicine and Healing have a worldview in which “Mutants” are accepted, embraced, and integrated into larger society. In a way similar to Charles Xavier’s “School for Gifted Mutants” in the X-Men comics, Mutants are sadly misunderstood in our modern society and prevailing Broken Healthcare System (largely dominated by Big Pharma.) Mutants are seen as the Outcast, “Crazies”, and those who are given other stigmatizing labels, largely based on fear and ignorance.

Mutant Kingdom holds the view that Mutants are in reality Gifted Children, Highly Sensitive People, and have been known as Shamans and Visionary Geniuses throughout history all around the world. For this reason, our current Healthcare System will view Mutants in a way vastly different than Holistic Healthcare Traditions, including Shamanism and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM.)

In our current society, we understand Mutants to be “Mentally Ill”, morally deplorable “Addicts”, and people who are seen as “crazy” since they think and see the world in an unorthodox and “odd” way. In reality, Mutants have played a pivotal role not just in Holistic Healthcare Traditions but in societies throughout the world throughout time. Mutants have been seen as Prophets, Saints, Shamans, and “Witches” in the proper and positive sense (women who were known as Spiritual Mediums and Holistic Healers.)

This is where the concept of “Mental Health” in the Western Healthcare model understand qualites of Mutants in a negative and pathological sense. In other societies and traditions, Mutants who displayed symptoms of what is known as “Bipolar Disorder” and “Schizophrenia” were seen as Gifted and called to be Spiritual Leaders and Healers of their people. An African Shaman who visited Western Mental Health Hospitals and Treatment Centers had this to say;

“So this is how the healers who are attempting to be born are treated in this culture. What a loss! What a loss that a person who is finally being aligned with a power from the other world is just being wasted.”- Dr. Some

Bipolar Disorder and “Superpowers”

Bipolar as defined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) defined Bipolar Disorder as such;

“(I)s a group of brain conditions characterized by extreme shifts in mood, energy, and activity levels, revolving around distinct episodes of mania, hypomania, and depression…The manic episode may have been preceded by and may be followed by hypomanic or major depressive.”

In short, Bipolar is a condition in which a person will display symptoms marked by profound highs in energy (Bipolar 1 having mania and Bipolar 2 having Hypomania) and periods of depressive lows. Mania is described as, “Mania is when your mood, energy, or activity level becomes much higher than usual. You may feel overly excited, irritable, or full of energy. You might not feel like you need much sleep. You may take risks or act on impulses without thinking them through.” In contrast, Hypomania causes “high energy, mood changes, impulsive behavior, and little need for sleep. It’s less intense than mania, but still noticeable to others. It’s often part of bipolar disorder, but it can also happen with other conditions.” I will link a video below that breaks down Bipolar Disorder in more detail.

What I find interesting about Western Healthcare’s definition and Big Pharma’s treatment of Bipolar is that they are absolutely unable to give a definitive cause and cure for this perceived “disorder.” The core Medical Tradition of our current Broken Healthcare System is what is called Allopathy. Allopathy is known to be effective at

Treating Symptoms and
Acute emergency surgeries

Beyond these, it is notorious for not being able to provide lasting cures that address the root causes of diseases and illness, much less any type of prevention (both of which are staples in Holistic Healthcare Traditions.) It is known that John D. Rockefeller, the infamous Oil Baron during the Gilded Age of American history, was the primary financier and investor in Allopathy and Big Pharma pills. I also have a podcast episode about Big Pharma and Rockefeller linked here as well.

As a Mutant who was also both a client and professional in our Broken Healthcare System, I experienced firsthand how those diagnosed with Bipolar Disorders (among many other conditions) are almost always on some form of Big Pharma drug for the rest of their lives. Why is this? Because Allopathy only treats symptoms, and Big Pharma makes the big bucks when they can make a lifelong consumer of products through their domination of our Broken Healthcare System in the West.

Many doctors have been calling out the blatant profit-over-people motives of our Big Pharma-dominated Broken Healthcare System. One notable doctor is Jon Abrahmson, who wrote the groundbreaking books “Sickening: How Big Pharma Broke American Health Care” and “Overdosed America.” Once you see how corrupt our Broken Healthcare system is, you cannot unsee it! That is why the Vision of Mutant Kingdom is Holistic Healthcare and understanding who Mutants truly are. This now brings us to Monkey D. Luffy and the classic Anime One Piece in the next section!

Luffy Gear 5 and “Joy Boy”: The Gifted Mutant Child

I just want to reiterate that One Piece is considered among the greatest and most iconic Anime of all time! When I learned about Gear 5 Luffy (the “Joy Boy”), I did some research on the show and was fascinated by the parallels I saw between Luffy and what I term Gifted Mutant Children. I also see Luffy’s Gear 5 “Joy Boy” form as an amazing analogy for “Bipolar Disorder” symptoms often found in Gifted Mutant Children. I will link my article on Gifted Mutant Children (one of the staple pieces on Mutant Kingdom) and content that introduces One Piece.

I want to mention how One Piece is literally over 1000 episodes. Once again-OVER ONE THOUSAND. My research had to be focused particularly on the main character and protagonist Luffy, and information relevant to the Gear 5 “Joy Boy” form. For a quick introduction (I mean quick!) One Piece is about Pirates around the world looking for the legendary One Piece Treasure, left by the previous Pirate Lord. Whoever finds this Treasure will become the undisputed Pirate King. For those who are not already familiar (as I was myself), I will link some additional resources below that explain the Lore of One Piece in more detail…as well as my response to those who ask why I can write a piece on One Piece (no pun intended) if I haven’t seen the whole thing…

The most recent Arc (a chapter and section in the series) in One Piece is called “Egghead”, which is considered the peak (the height and greatest part) of the already legendary Anime. What I find interesting is how Luffy’s Gear 5 form works. When Luffy is in Gear 5 as Joy Boy, he has incredible powers and displays qualities that look similar to what are considered “Bipolar Disorder” symptoms! I also see massive parallels with Luffy’s story and how he gained the Gear 5 form with Shamanism and the stages of the Shaman Journey (listed out in greater detail in another article on Mutant Kingdom.)

The video breaks down how Luffy only gained Gear 5 after apparently dying. This is exactly a stage in the Shaman’s journey, where they go through a “death and rebirth” experience before gaining their Shamanistic powers and role. Luffy in Gear 5 as Joy Boy is also extremely hyperactive and ecstatic! These traits are very similar (if not identical) to how our Broken Healthcare System defines the symptoms of “Bipolar Disorder” to be labeled as Mania and Hypomania. Luffy likewise can be drained of life energy and literally age every time he uses Gear 5. This is also similar to the Depressive episodes in Bipolar Disorder, where people feel literally drained of life energy after experiencing the “euphoric” highs of Mania!

I want to highlight that even though Luffy would be classified as having “Bipolar Disorder”, he is in reality a Mutant and real-life superhero with superpowers! This is why African Shaman Dr. Some, as quoted earlier, stated that we in the West, under our current Broken Healthcare System;

So this is how the healers who are attempting to be born are treated in this culture. What a loss! What a loss that a person who is finally being aligned with a power from the other world is just being wasted.”- Dr. Some

It is also fascinating that the main villains and antagonists of One Piece are an evil government that seeks to dominate others with a Tyrannical Father Spirit. Sounds similar to our Broken Healthcare System? Any other similarities with reality?… I rest my case. Luffy is a perfect example of why the Vision of Mutant Kingdom is needed. Mutant Kingdom maintains that we need to embrace, understand, and integrate Gifted Mutant Children to “gift” our society with potential real-life superheroes. Holistic Healthcare will allow us to raise, nurture, and love Gifted Mutant Children with their superpowers- like Gear 5 Luffy the “Joy Boy!”

Conclusion

A society with Holistic Healthcare, the Values of The Way of Christ, and where kids are raised with Agape Love for who they truly are. A 40-Day Mutant Kingdom Devotional for Recovery, Healing, and Amazing Grace

Shalom. Salam. Peace, blessings, and rejoice always.

I am incredibly excited—and grateful—to announce a new chapter of Mutant Kingdom: Mutant Kingdom Devotionals.

For those unfamiliar with devotionals, they are structured spiritual practices that can last a week, a month, 40 days, or even an entire year. Each day typically offers a lesson or reflection followed by space to contemplate, journal, pray, discuss, and apply what we have learned.

Devotionals have a long history within Christianity, and projects such as The Purpose Driven Life, Our Daily Bread, and Rooted have helped inspire what I am building here. But these will specifically be Mutant Kingdom devotionals: rooted in the Way of Christ while also engaging recovery, holistic healthcare, and wisdom I have encountered across traditions including Sufism, Taoism, and Chinese medicine.

You do not need to belong to a particular Christian denomination—or even come from a particular religious background—to participate. These devotionals are for people seeking recovery, healing, spiritual growth, and a deeper encounter with the Way of Christ.

Why I Am Creating This

For those new to Mutant Kingdom, my name is Paul de Andalusia. I have spent years in the mental-health-treatment and addiction-recovery world from different sides of the system, including professionally and through my own lived experiences. Mutant Kingdom emerged partly from those experiences and from a vision for a more holistic approach to healthcare—particularly for people I call Mutants: people whose wounds, sensitivities, gifts, differences, and struggles can cause them to be misunderstood or reduced to labels.

But there is another group of people behind this devotional.

My former clients.

During my work in mental health and addiction recovery, I was blessed to meet people who encouraged me to take the gifts God had given me and someday create something of my own.

So, in many ways:

This is for you guys.

Those experiences helped plant seeds that eventually grew into Mutant Kingdom.

And now I want to turn the ideas behind Mutant Kingdom into something people can actually practice together.

The First 40 Days: Light in the Wound

The inaugural Mutant Kingdom devotional will be called:

Light in the Wound

It will be a 40-day journey centered on trauma wounds, addiction recovery, healing, and Amazing Grace.

The title draws from two spiritual images that have profoundly influenced me.

The first comes from the Sufi poet Rumi and the famous saying associated with him:

“The wound is where the light enters you.”

The second comes from one of my favorite passages of Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12, where the Apostle Paul describes his mysterious “thorn in the flesh” and discovers that weakness can become the very place in which God’s grace is encountered.

That paradox sits at the heart of Light in the Wound.

We often want to run from our wounds.

Hide them.

Numb them.

Deny them.

Become ashamed of them.

But what happens if instead we learn how to acknowledge them?

What happens when we become willing to sit with our wounds—not because suffering itself is good, but because healing requires us to face what hurts?

Over these 40 days, we will explore how to recognize and connect with our trauma wounds so that we can become increasingly open to Amazing Grace, healing, light, love, and connection.

That is the journey.

The wound is not the end of the story.

There may still be Light inside it.

The Blue Dove and the Fiery Rose

The artwork for Light in the Wound has a deeply personal history.

Years ago, while I was receiving treatment at John Muir Hospital in the Bay Area, I experienced a moment of creative inspiration.

I drew something.

I’m not much of a traditional visual artist, but the image seemed to come out of me:

A blue dove reaching toward a fiery rose growing from concrete.

Sometimes I imagined the bird as a phoenix, but most often it was specifically a blue dove.

I carried that drawing with me through parts of my recovery journey and even into some 12-step meetings.

Then one day, it disappeared.

Strangely, I wasn’t devastated.

Something inside me wondered whether perhaps someone else had found that image at exactly the moment they needed it.

I never forgot it.

Years later, that image has returned as the symbol of Light in the Wound.

The Blue Dove represents the Spirit of Amazing Grace.

The Fiery Rose growing from concrete represents the beauty that can emerge despite suffering- also paying homage to Tupac Shakur’s famous image of The Rose That Grew from Concrete.

And now the golden Mutant Cross (X) stands above them.

Together, they tell the story I want these 40 days to explore:

Wound. Grace. Transformation. Beauty.

Pressure can produce diamonds.

Concrete does not necessarily stop the rose.

And suffering does not necessarily have the final word.

$1 and a Dream

I want these devotionals to become more than content people consume alone.

I want us to go through them together.

The inspiration comes partly from J. Cole and his famous Dollar & a Dream concept: radically lowering the financial barrier so ordinary the financial barrier so ordinary people could participate while simultaneously creating community around the experience.

I’m borrowing that spirit for Mutant Kingdom.

I also plan to bring us together through regular group calls where we can discuss the week’s lessons and,in a sense, break bread together.

Because one of my favorite recovery sayings is:

Addiction is isolation. Recovery is connection.

And that may ultimately be one of the most important principles behind this entire project.

From Content to Community

Until now, Mutant Kingdom has largely consisted of articles, Notes, podcasts, art, ideas, and conversations.

I want these devotionals to move us into something deeper.

Community.

Recovery.

Connection.

The goal isn’t merely to read something inspiring every morning.

The goal is to take a journey together.

The first journey begins with our wounds.

For 40 days, Light in the Wound will invite us to look at the places inside ourselves we may have spent years avoiding—and slowly begin opening those places to truth, community, healing, love, and Amazing Grace.

There is an old proverb that captures the spirit of what I hope to build:

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

So let’s go far.

Together.

Light in the Wound Devotional: Spiritual Recovery in Mutant Kingdom (X) (Day 1)

Section 1 Part 1: Clearing and Pain

The format for “Light in the Wound Devotional” is based on the 3-stage process of Spiritual Purification and Recovery in Sufism (the Mystical and Spiritual Tradition of Rumi.) It goes as follows;

Clearing (takhliyya in Arabic) the First 10 Days, where we first remove impurities and hindrances within and around us toward Recovery and Healing
Cleansing (tahliyya in Arabic) the Next 20 Days, in which we further cleanse our now cleared-out vessel (heart) with pure and noble qualities
Containing (tajliyya in Arabic) the Final 10 Days, the final process in which we are now able to contain and receive Spiritual Fruits and Gifts previously inaccessible to us.

The first lesson will be on the reality of Pain. Pain is a natural result of Trauma Wounds, whether they stem from childhood, broken family systems, or toxic relationships. Life naturally brings pain, and the sad reality is that much of it comes from others’ hands. If you are reading this, you most likely have experienced suffering, pain, and harm from other people. The worst of this pain comes from those who are meant and supposed to be closest to us.

Before we can begin the healing journey of Addiction Recovery and Trauma Wound Healing, we must first come to accept and admit the pain itself. We will have to acknowledge that the people we trusted most hurt us the most. We may regret time wasted. Money spent for what feels like “nothing.” So on and so on. The first lesson of this Devotional series, “The Light in the Wound,” is to accept the pain, wounds, and “thorns in the flesh” we already carry within us and with us. We cannot heal what we fail to address and face directly. As the famous Sufi Poet Rumi said, “The Wound is where the Light enters you.”

Daily Questions and Review of the Lesson:

Please write down all the names of those who have betrayed and hurt you. From whom were we afflicted with our Trauma Wounds? Write down the names and relationships in this step.
When the names are listed, take time to look and reflect on them. What did these relationships mean to us? How close were they to us?
Take time to sit with the emotions, without judgement. Allow ourselves to experience and feel any pain, resentment, anger, etc. that may come up. It is highly recommended to take a Nature Walk, be with a supportive friend/partner/community, or engage in any other practice that helps us feel regulated and comforted.
Please share in the chat on Mutant Kingdom with a trusted friend, counselor, therapist, or anyone with whom you seek counsel and support. Prayer to a Higher Power (God) is fine as well. Just allow yourself to be heard and to share your experience and thoughts.

Visualization Practice: The Power of the Mind to Achieve Success and Abundance

This is a short reflection piece on the powerful Spiritual and Mental Health practice of Visualization. Meditation has become a staple in Western culture along with Yoga Pants, “woo-woo” spirituality, and organic Chia bowls! Meditation is undoubtedly a highly beneficial practice for people from diverse backgrounds. Business CEOs, athletes, and Mental Health practitioners are advocates of Meditation and utilize It to improve Mental Health, performance, and many other life-enhancing benefits.

This being said, Meditation is actually a very varied and multifaceted practice and term. It can be easy to conflate Meditation in its totality with simply sitting still, closing our eyes, and breathing deeply while watching our breaths. This is still Meditation, but it is simply a very popular form of Meditation-not Meditation in its entirety! The rise of Meditation in the West can be credited largely to a gentleman named Jon Kabat-Zinn and his work on Mindfulness and Meditation practices.

I have had plenty of mentors, teachers, and therapists, and I deeply respect and admire. Virtually all of them have taught me the importance and benefits of Mindfulness and Meditation…but I could never get myself to do it. I am not sure if it is because I am a Taurus Sign, a Mutant, or whatever. I love to study, research, and reflect. I was born this way! I would always try to “negotiate” my treatment with my teachers and mentors if I could do any other type of Mediation or Mindfulness! Anything but sit still and “do nothing.” I am blessed to have what could be called “A Beautiful Mind”…it’s a scary and dark place! Don’t go there! I would beg my teachers to let me do walking Meditation, Mindfulness with Nature sounds, or vibe to some cool Trance EDM music!

My teachers would challenge me to try to simply sit still and “Let it Be”…yet I refused. Well, I did take their advice, and was thakfully able to get to 5 minutes one time! Yet, I felt frustreated and ashamed at myself since I did want to get on the Meditation and Mindfulness train, but it just never resonated with me. That was until I listened to a podcast interview with UFC Champion Jon Jones in the Joe Rogan experience. In this amazing interview, Champion Jon Jones breaks down Visualization, and how he found it to be a much more beneifical and useful Mindfulness practice for him personally.

In the video, we learn that Visualization is focusing the mind on a goal, intention, and Vision we seek to actualize and bring about into the world and our own lives. It is a Mindfulness practice that gives us what is called in the 12 Steps program of Recovery “Singleness of Purpose.” Visualization allows us to pattern and organize our lives so they are aligned with our greatest purpose, dreams, and Vision. I have nothing against sitting still and watching our breath. I do also believe humans are diverse and unique in very special ways. Mindfulness is broad, and there may be certain forms of Meditation that work better for others, and some that aren’t as effective. I have found Visualization personally to be an amazing practice that has truly transformed my life. Thank God! I also love to do Visualization practices to the song below.

I also find the practice of Visualization to be in alignment with The Way of Christ. The Apostle Paul, in the celebrated chapter Philippians 4 in the New Testament, speaks of Visualization and focusing on Beauty, Truth, and “Ideal Forms” of thought. It is a beautiful passage of Scripture, which demonstrates the power of Visualization. It also highlights how The Way of Christ is a Spiritual Path that incorporates the greatest Spiritual and Mental Health practices known to man. Rejoice Always and Peace!

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Introduction

This is a short piece about the Spiritual Practice of Feeding Others, or “Breaking Bread” as it’s known in The Way of Christ. “Breaking Bread” is an act of charity, service, and Agape Love all at once. It is a simple yet profound practice that connects people, builds community, and enriches the lives of those “less fortunate”, referred to as the Outcasts and Mutants of society.

I want to dedicate this piece to honoring the Midnight Mission on Skid Row and the legacy of Clancy Imilsund. Clancy was the founder of the Pacific Group of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), which has been one of the longest-running and largest AA groups in 12 Step History. In this, we will also see how The Way of Christ is exemplified in serving, feeding, and “Breaking Bread” with the homeless, outcasts, and Mutants on Skid Row in Los Angeles. I will also explain how I have found “breaking bread” to be one of the greatest spiritual and recovery practices imaginable. Let’s begin!

The Midnight Mission on Skid Row

Skid Row has long been the most impoverished and “run-down” section of the Greater Los Angeles Area (GLAA). Skid Row is the district in which the homeless population of Los Angeles is most centered, and has been this way for decades. There have been numerous documentaries, grassroots groups, and shelters (such as the Midnight Mission) that have documented, served, and highlighted how the “American Dream” has not been so for a great many of its citizens.

The Midnight Mission began around 1914 when a local shop owner, Tom Liddecoat, opened his shop at midnight to feed the homeless. Over time, his midnight “breaking bread” session became well known, and this would inspire the name of “Midnight Mission.” Over time, the Midnight Mission extended into a full-on homeless shelter, food kitchen, and even an Addiction Recovery and Mental Health Treatment center for the homeless and Mutants on Skid Row.

The Midnight Mission is truly one of the greatest hidden gems of Los Angeles, despite its reputation as a haven and sanctuary for the homeless Mutants on Skid Row. Prominent actors Dick Van Dyke and Anthony Hopkins have supported Midnight Mission for its legacy of service and giving hope to the seemingly hopeless. Midnight Mission has also expanded to providing support for single mothers escaping domestic violence and job training for previous Midnight Mission recipients and beyond! A notable “alumni” from Midnight Mission is Clancy Imilsund, the founder of the esteemed Pacficif Group of AA and the former director of the Midnight Mission as well.

The Legacy of Clancy Imilsund

Clancy Imilsund was born in and raised in Texas and comes from a Norwegian family. Clancy had many qualities of a Mutant, including being a visionary and genius. Clancy was gifted in school and did well in business. However, Clancy struggled with the “disease” of alcoholism and, after a series of unfortunate events, found himself homeless on Skid Row. Not only was his “Rock Bottom” being homeless, but he found himself estranged and outcast by his wife, children, and family at large.

Clancy found what AA calls “the Gift of Desperation” and knew he needed to change and make a difference in his life. It was then he discovered the Midnight Mission, the 12 Step Program, and the Community of Recovery in AA. I will post two talks by Clancy in which he discusses the history of AA and his personal testimony of Addiction Recovery.

Clancy joined the Midnight Mission, but was eventually kicked out for disruptive behavior! This only adds to Clancy’s Legacy, and how he was a “true addict” with the “character defects” of “restless, irritable, and discontent.” Eventually Clancy would become committed to the 12 Step Program of Recovery found in AA. Clancy would become one of the most prominent members of AA, who lived the 12 Step principles of Agape Love and service toward his fellow men (and women)! The best part was that he was ultimately reconciled with his family, and even married off one of his daughters to a fellow in AA he did his 5th step with! I encourage readers again to view the video above where Clancy shares his personal testimony of Addiction Recovery and his journey in the 12 Steps Program of Recovery.

Clancy’s Legacy includes how he founded the Pacific Group in the 12 Step Community of AA and (ironically and amazingly) became the director of Midnight Mission until 2020 (the year he passed away.) The Pacific Group, as mentioned earlier, is one of the longest-running and largest 12 Step Meetings, not just in Los Angeles, but the world! The Pacific Group is more organized and structured, with a manner reminiscent of AA’s earliest days (when they were based primarily in Akron and New York.)

Clancy was inspired by Bill W. and Dr. Bob, the founders and builders of the 12 Step Program and Fellowship of AA. The Pacific Group was modeled on the earliest days of AA, which emphasized discipline, responsibility, service commitments (such as making coffee, setting chairs, and feeding others), and dressing with more formal attire. The reasoning behind this was that Clancy believed how we dress affects our mental, emotional, and spiritual state. Therefore, at certain Pacific Group meetings and gatherings, members were encouraged (at times required) to dress in more formal attire or clothes that were more “refined” and “dignified” than their daily attire (such as graphic tees, Vans shoes, etc.) Tons of my friends and mentors in the 12 Steps would share both their admiration and reservations for the Pacific Group. Clancy Imislund is universally respected and admired, even though the Pacific Group at times can come across (to some) as cultish and too “hardcore” for their taste.

Clancy was instrumental in expanding the reach, effectiveness, and output of the Midnight Mission, even though he was an“alumni” who was actually kicked out! In short, Clancy Imilsund left a Legacy in Addiction Recovery that exemplifies the values and principles of both AA and The Way of Christ. Clancy emphasizes that AA actually began from the Oxford Group, a Christian Evangelical group who directly inspired many of the Steps, values, and principles of the 12 Step Program and AA to this day. In this way, AA and all 12 Step Programs are branches of the Vine of The Way of Christ.

The Way of Christ and “Breaking Bread” with Mutants

In my readings of the Teachings of Christ (most notably the Gospel accounts) I am amazed at how Jesus literally spent most of his life healing, serving, and feeding others with Agape Love. In fact, it was healing the sick, demon-possessed, and afflicted that was the most common practice Christ engaged in! In this, we see the heart of Agape Love within Christ, especially for those deemed by society as outcasts, rejects, and Mutants.

In addition to this, Jesus sat with those who were considered sinners and immoral, on top of being Mutant outcasts! Jesus would literally “break bread” with those others (especially the morally superior and Pharisees) would not even want to be caught dead with in public! It was a common refrain among my fellow Mutants, from 12 Step meetings to Mental Health Treatment Centers, that Christ would sit with us! The Mutants, rejects, addicts, and “mentally ill” outcasts of society! I truly believe this, and my experience in Addiction Recovery and Mental Health Treatment only confirms this more and more as the years go by.

What is even more amazing to me is how Christ would use his literal “superpowers” to serve others and Mutants. To feed thousands and “break bread” with them as well. It is these practices and principles in The Way of Christ that are the foundation of great traditions such as the 12 Step Program and the Midnight Mission, found in the Legacy of Great men and Mutants such as Clancy Imilsund! Rejoice Always!

Conclusion

I want to finish this piece with a popular passage from the 12 Step Literature that speaks of a Vision for you and me. I hope this piece highlighted how feeding others with Agape Love is The Way of Christ and the principal foundations of the legacy of the Midnight Mission and Clancy Imilsund. The practice of “breaking bread” and serving Mutants in The Way of Christ is very much the foundation of the Vision of Mutant Kingdom that I hope inspires you as much as it inspires me (ideally even more so):

Introduction

This piece is a short reflection on the importance of ethical Food Sourcing in Holistic Healthcare. There are more reasons for this than one may think initially. In my time as an Addiction Recovery and Trauma Counselor and Group Facilitator in Los Angeles, I don’t ever remember being trained or told by my managers to do classes and counsel clients on the importance of diet for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery.

The importance of diet and daily nutrition is rarely emphasized and taught in our current Broken Healthcare System. Additionally, human communities used to be much closer to their primary sources of food and water. I believe the Mother Wound of the Modern World is a traumatic rupture from our primary source- Planet Earth herself.

There is a great saying in Sufism by Imam Ali that goes, “You consider yourself insignificant, but within you is enfolded the entire Universe.” This is such a beautiful summary of the entire worldview of Holistic Healthcare Traditions throughout time- that humanity’s mind, body, and soul are all Sacred and thrive in harmony and balance with the Cosmos around us! This paper will discuss the Natural World Design Science of Permaculture, the growing culture of Community Gardens, Farmers’ Markets, and Food Collectives, and how these relate to the overall Holistic Healthcare Cultural Movement and the Vision of Mutant Kingdom! Sit back, relax, and let us Rejoice Always as we reconnect to the Natural World and Mother Earth.

Permaculture

How we get our food has far-reaching impacts in Holistic Healthcare and every underlying system in our society today. Food Sourcing is such an overlooked and vital aspect of our daily lives and the structure of our society; this cannot be understated. We currently live in a system where a tomato can literally be grown in another country than our own (let’s say Mexico for example), shipped hundreds of miles to arrive at home (say a grocety store in California), and pumped with tons of chemicals to prevent the tomato from going bad and rotting early to survive the long distance travel (such as preservatives, etc.)

Our society currently operates under crazy systems to get a basic food commodity (such as our preservative-filled tomato from overseas!), but also disconnects us from the Natural World and our Mother Earth. There are so many Broken Systems, from Big Pharma Corp to the Industrial War Complex, that are quite simply unsustainable and highly volatile. What can be done then? This is where I believe Permaculture is needed for the Holistic Healthcare Vision of Mutant Kingdom, and the world at large.

The standard definition of Permaculture is;

“Permaculture is a design concept for sustainable, food producing landscapes mimicking the diversity and resilience of natural ecosystems.”

This is such a brilliant concept and science, and I have to acknowledge Bill Mollison for creating this truly amazing Natural World Design Science. In Permaculture, you could say Geoff Lawton was among the main students of Bill Mollison who helped popularize and make Permaculture “mainstream.” The term Permaculture comes from two words: Permanent and Culture. It has also been referred to as Permanent and Agriculture.

Bill Mollison envisioned Permaculture in the 1970’s, after having an extended career in the Food and Agricultural Industries in the Modern era. Bill Mollison, like countless other ecologists and naturalists, determined that our current Food Industrial System would run out of topsoil, was wasteful to the extreme, and has already caused permanent damage to the Natural World.

Bill Molllsion worked with a classmate, David Holmgreen, to develop and build Permaculture as we know it today. Geoff Lawton is among the most prominent students of these Systems Thinking Masters, and has taught countless people Permaculture through Permaculture Design Courses (PDC). I have even met a few people in the Bay Area who are trained in Permaculture, and they showed me firsthand the incredible potential and transformative power Permaculture can have on our underlying systems in Society and the World at large. I will post some videos below that discuss these topics in more detail. One video even highlights how Geoff Lawton turned a literal desert into a luscious oasis using Permaculture as well.

I want to end this section by repeating and emphasizing how Geoff Lawton used Permaculture to transform a Barren Desert into a Green Oasis! There is a technical term called “Food Deserts.” This is land where the soil and environment have become so barren and desolate that any chance of nutrient-dense and abundant produce becomes nearly impossible to establish in these areas. I currently live in Los Angeles (La La Land), and in many ways LA is considered a Food Desert. While Los Angeles gets a ton of hate from haters (from the Bay to New York), they are right to criticize Angelenos for sourcing all our water from external resources. While I hate to admit it, Los Angeles, in terms of natural resources, is an absolute drain, black hole, and food desert (among many other things!) I now want to focus on how Permaculture can have a tremendous positive influence on the burgeoning Holistic Healthcare Cultural Movement by supporting Community Gardens, Farmers’ Markets, and Food Collectives. Which are collectively a part of what is referred to as “The Green Movement”.

The Green Movement!: Community Gardens, Farmers’ Markets, and Food Collectives!

The video above of Joe Rogan highlights the importance of sourcing our food, but also maintaining and nurturing areas in the Natural World that can yield Harvests of produce and abundance of Natural World beauty. I believe Permaculture has unprecedented potential to truly bolster existing efforts to “Green the City” and create more locally sourced produce and food. I am speaking about Community Gardens, Farmers’ Markets, and Food Collectives. I will share a few videos below that highlight these incredible efforts within the “Green” Holistic Healthcare Cultural Movement.

Community Gardens are areas set apart in the city for locals to gather together and grow their own produce. There are even some families who get permits to have livestock in their backyards, especially chickens! These efforts are incredibly powerful for reasons that extend beyond food. Community Gardens are places where true community can thrive and flourish! An essential part of community (especially in my experience) is that all members share a common vision and goal, and work collectively to achieve it! My time at San Diego State University (SDSU) and the Green Love Committee highlighted this for me. Green Love began with students who had the Vision to create a more Sustainable and “Green” SDSU. Their accomplishments were extensive, which included creating bike lanes and even starting a festival to celebrate the Natural World, GreenFest.

In a similar vein, Farmers’ Markets have been growing steadily over the past few years. Farmers’ Markets are weekly to monthly events where local farmers and growers gather at a certain location (such as Santa Monica or Walnut Creek in California) to set up stands with a variety of goods, produce, and local brands! There will often also be live music playing, Holistic Healthcare stands (such as Massage Therapy and even Meditation circles), with tons of locals coming together to “break bread”.

I have to thank my Dad for taking me to these Farmers’ Markets since I was in Middle School. However, I will apologize since (as with every preteen) I would be on my phone constantly distracted the whole time! Nonetheless, I appreciated the vibrancy of life, emblematic of Farmers’ Markets. Many Farmers’ Markets also cater to more Holistic Healthcare Lifestyles and Treatment Centers, such as Marina Well Rey in Los Angeles.

Food Collectives (Cooperatives) are outlets where farmers and growers themselves own the market. This is a very anti-corporation grassroots group effort to ensure the production, distribution, and ownership of food and produce is collectively owned by “the people” themselves! My Dad’s Alma Mater (including my Uncle and Grandmother on my Father’s side) is UC Berkeley, graduates! When I studied near Berkeley, I would occasionally go to both the Berkeley Food Collective (run by UC Berkeley students) and the beloved Berkeley Bowl.

The Berkeley Food Collective is student-run, with the mission to provide the UC Berkeley family and larger community with more locally sourced and independetly owned produce and food. The culture of UC Berkeley has been heavily influenced by the Hippies and the Counter-Culture Revolution of the 1960s (Free Love!) If anything, it can be rightfully argued that UC Berkeley itself was the epicenter of the Hippie Movement, Counter-Culture Revolution, and the birth of Free Speech in America as we know it today. My Dad is very proud Baydestrian and the San Francisco Bay Area legacy. Also, my Dad and I (sadly and gladly) love the San Francisco 49ers! Bang Bang!

Berkeley Bowl is an independent family-owned grocery store. While it is not a Food Collective strictly speaking, it has some of the most incredible produce and food I have ever had. It is very high quality, with the insane prices of La La Land’s Erewhon Market! I love Los Angeles, but the Bay does some things HELLA better than LA. In all of this, I wanted to highlight and celebrate the “Green Movements” of the past that have manifested into Community Gardens, Farmers’ Markets, and Food Collectives of today! I believe Permaculture can be an insane amplifier to these already great existing movements as well. I know what I want to reflect on the Legacy of the Hippies and “Flower Children” who began many of these movements. Figures such as Timothy Leary, Andrew Weil, and even Geoff Lawton (among many others) benefited and were inspired by the Flower Children Hippies of the 1960s. My Dad also considers himself a modern-day Hippie. Groovy baby!

The Hippies and Flower Children from the Bay!: Reconnecting to the Natural World

The Hippies of the 1960s are both the most iconic and reviled group to emerge during the turbulent and impactful 1960s in America. The Bay Area was without a doubt a central hub and “Mecca” of this Movement, with the Hippies in San Francisco (the Haight-Ashbury and Golden Gate Park!), the Free Speech student protestors in Berkeley, and the Black Panthers in Oakland (The Town!)

The Hippies were known as “Flower Children” who would wear “Flowers in their Hair.” The Hippies rejected mainstream “square” culture, were anti-War (especially the Vietnam War, much like student protestors are against the Wars and Genocide in the Middle East today), and had a shared Vision of a world marked by Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect (known as PLUR Vibes today.)

The Hippies collectively helped begin the “Green Movements’ of today, the Clinical and Spiritual use of Psychedelics, and elevated American Music to unprecedented heights (Woodstock and Dead Heads!), who were the forefathers of what I term the Holistic Healthcare Cultural Revolution. As mentioned earlier, Visionaries such as Steve Jobs, Timothy Leary, Dr. Andrew Weil, and many others credit their beginnings and “origin stories” to the Hippies of the 1960s. Many of them were literally Hippies themselves! I emphasize that the Vision of Mutant Kingdom is directly based on the works, legacies, and ideas of these Visionary Mutants who taught the world to “think different.” Always.

While there were downsides to the Hippie Movement and the 1960s in general (as with any Cultural Movement), I now want to end this piece in the next section by celebrating the Mary Magdalene Spirit of Sacred Feminine Beauty and Queenship in my life. A “Flower Child” Mutant who embodies the Spirit of the Natural World as well.

Conclusion: The Vision of Mutant Kingdom

I have written other articles about the beloved and classic American film Forrest Gump. While it has some criticism in the modern era (by youngsters who consider themselves “Top G’s”), I believe it to be one of the most beautiful artistic depictions of the Redeeming Power of Agape Love. The Vision of Mutant Kingdom was inspired by the Sacred Flame of the Mary Magdalene Spirit (I have a couple of podcast episodes about the Mary Magdalene Spirit as well, namely #21 and #45.)

The Vision of Mutant Kingdom is of Divine Union, Balance, and Harmony. Between Mutants and Everybody! Between the Divine Masculine and Sacred Feminine. Between the Natural World and the Kingdom of Heaven (The Mandate of Heaven in Chinese Tradition.) Between The Way of Christ and the Modern World. I want to thank the Spirit of Mary Magdalene, bringing Harmony and Balance to my life by the Grace of God. Agape Love will bring us all home to the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth! Introduction

This article is a brief overview and introduction to the widespread practice and belief in Holistic Healthcare of Past Life Regressions. This concept is admittedly very foreign and may be difficult for those of a Western and Abrahamic faith background (such as myself) to accept and even study. Past Life Regressions is connected to the popular belief in Eastern Spiritual Traditions (most prominently in Buddhism and Hinduism) of Reincarnation, or the belief that our souls are Reborn after death. Reincarnation and Past Life Regressions will be discussed in more detail in the next section, but I want to highlight how faiths that have been historically widespread and dominant in the West, especially Christianity and Judaism, have no belief in Reincarnation.

This piece will also incorporate the famous animated series of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra to highlight and make clear the concepts of Reincarnation and even Past Life Regressions. There will also be an analysis of how these concepts relate to Mutant Kingdom ideas such as Gifted Mutant Children and kids who are said to have “Old Souls.” Let us begin this piece, and I will post below a humorous video that showcases the concept of Past Life Regressions!

Past Life Regression and Reincarnation

Past Life Regression is a practice in Holistic Healthcare that believes we can carry trauma from previous lives (Reincarnation) into our present lives. Therefore, the belief is that if we can understand where we were wounded and traumatized in previous lives, we can process and heal them in these lives. A popular content creator on the topic of Past Life Regression is Dr. Brian Weiss. The use of hypnosis is often employed in Past Life Regression sessions, and I will post some videos below that discuss these in more detail.

Dr. Brian Weiss is a decorated Board Certified Psychiatrist who once headed the prestigious Mt. Sinai Hospital’s Psychiatry Department. Dr. Brain is well-versed in the Modern Western Medical Tradition of Alleopathy and Big Pharma. Despite his esteemed position, Dr. Brian would have a fateful encounter with a patient he has given the pseudonym of “Catherine” for privacy. Catherine came to Dr. Brian as she suffered from a condition in her eyes that no known medical intervention seemed able to cure. Dr. Brain attempted Hypnosis on Catherine, and what would happen next would change his life forever.

Catherine began narrating past lives her soul experienced, and how a particular past life of hers had an incident where she suffered from a condition in her eyes. Dr. Brian would perform the first known and mainstream Past Life Regression session with Catherine, and this would in turn pull him toward changing his entire career and field of study. This did not come easy as Dr. Weiss was very comfortable with tons of prestige and status in society. However, Dr. Weiss would recount how he felt “pulled” somewhere deep within his soul to share what he saw with Catherine.

Dr. Brian would publish his landmark book “Many Lives, Many Masters,” which both popularized Reincarnation and Past Life Regressions in the West. In this way, Dr. Brain has already played a pivotal role in the Holistic Healthcare Cultural Movement and has expanded our understanding of Spirituality in the West as well. I personally find parallels with Dr. Weiss and Jon Kabot Zinn who popularized Mediation and Mindfulness, and Dr. Timothy Leary who made Psychedelic Assited Therapy mainstream- all in the West! I posted some videos of these Foundational Thinkers of the Holistic Healthcare Movement in the West below. The next section will be on the animated classics Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra!

The Avatar Animated Series

Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra are “legendary” animated shows which showcase concepts such as Reincarnation, Spirits and the Spiritual Realm, and being Gifted Mutant Children. The shows are also saturated with references to Traditional Chinese and Far East Spirituality, Mysticism, and Symbolism. I myself liked the show growing up, and many of my peers did as well!

The show centers around a Figure and a Being called the Avatar. The Avatar alone is capable of mastering the 4 Elements of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. Those familiar with Holistic Healthcare and Traditional Chinese Medicine (which is both the most popular and oldest form of Natural World Medicine) will recognize the parallels with the Avatar and the Element Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Similar to what are called Humors in Classic Greek Medicine and Personality Types today, the Elements Theory of TCM teaches that each individual is born with a certain mixture of Elements- namely Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Metal.

The way these Elements are mixed and comprised in each human being will in large part determine their health, character, and “Personality Type.” True Health is found in the balance and harmony of the 5 Elements, in the same way the Avatar balances the elements. However, we will get to this more in the next section on Gifted Mutant Children and “Old Souls.” The Elements Theory of TCM is also a huge influence on the Mutant Cross (X) Symbol of Mutant Kingdom as well!

The Avatar is likewise a Being and Figure who is Reborn (Reincarnated) every few generations to bring balance and harmony between the 4 Elements and the world at large throughout time. Avatars Aang and Korra are the main figures in the Avatar series of The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. Even though they are different people in different times and places, they are both the Avatar. Therefore, Aang and Korra are in reality in the same Being and Soul, just Reborn and Reincarnated throughout time and space! This is a fantastic example of the concepts of Reincarnation and Past Life Regressions in Pop Culture.

Avatar is an incredible animated series and a fantastic Pop Culture reference point for those that which to see the Holistic Healthcare Concepts of Past Life Regression and the Spiritual Realm illustrated. Avatar also heavily borrows from teachings within Traditional Chinese Medicine and other Eastern Spiritual Traditions such as Taoism. I personally enjoyed revisiting the series for the research and writing of this piece. I also got to have some fun nostalgic moments rewatching some amazing fight scenes in the Avatar series as well! I won’t lie, even though Aang and Korra are the Avatars and the main characters, my favorite character was an Earthbender named Toph! She is, as they say in my generation, ill! Toph is such a legendary and elite Earthbender; she is also credited with finding a rare and advanced form of Earthbending called Metalbending! Toph, like Avatars Aang and Korra, is what I term a Gifted Mutant Child…which brings us to the next section in this piece!

Gifted Mutant Children and “Old Souls”

I have written a separate article on Gifted Mutant Children that discusses Wednesday Addams, Jane from Stranger Things, and Laura from the X-Men. I will link that article here. In short, Gifted Mutant Children are children born with special talents and abilities. These gifts are at times seen as curses in certain societies (like the Modern West, which mislabels them “Mental Illnesses”) and include things such as being Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs), Spiritual Mediums, and Shamans (among other titles.) What is fascinating is that it has been studied and documented how young children and kids can recount their past lives in great detail! I will link some videos below which shows this rising phenomenon in the West of recognizing past lives (among children and kids in particular.)

These past-life testimonies from children are numerous, widespread, and almost impossible to ignore. I want to emphasize again how these incidents are growing (or at least being recorded much more than before) in the West. What makes these testimonies even more persuasive is that the children can actually recount details that at times (though not always) can be confirmed by data, birth certificates, and various other ways later on.

Holistic Healthcare is multifaceted, and the growing belief and evidence in things such as Reincarnation and Past Life Regressions are definitely expanding and challenging preexisting belief systems in the West. I myself ascribe to The Way of Christ and could not find any explicit references to Reincarnation in the Traditional Teachings of Christ. Nonetheless, belief in Reincarnation is growing along with practices and beliefs within the Holistic Healthcare Cultural Movement.

Conclusion

In closing, this article explored the Holistic Healthcare practice of Past Life Regression and belief in Reincarnation. Past Life Regressions is an effective treatment for trauma wounds and other ailments of the mind, body, and soul within Holistic Healthcare. I then related these concepts to the classic animated series of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. I then discussed how Gifted Mutant Children are able to recall and recount past lives, and how this is a phenomenon growing in the West with the Holistic Healthcare Cultural Movement.

As stated earlier, this is one of the few times in my study and research on the Holistic Healthcare Cultural Movement where I could not find any direct and explicit reference within The Way of Christ. To be clear, the idea of Resurrection on a Final Day of Judgement is essential to the Teachings of The Way of Christ. The Final Day of Judgement is when every soul will be held accountable for their actions in this life, and ultimately a Judgement on whether their souls will ascend to Paradise or descend into Hell. Nonetheless, this belief within the Judeo-Christian Tradition (Islam also has an identical belief in Resurrection on the Day of Judgement), and the concept of Reincarnation found in Hinduism, Buddhism, and even Past Life Regression, are very distinct and different from each other.

Nonetheless, I will close with one example within the Bible that sounds somewhat familiar to Past Life Regression and Reincarnation. That is of John the Baptist, who some consider a Divine Masculine Shaman in his own right. I will simply list some verses from the Bible below that discuss how John the Baptist ( a close relative and Prophet who supported Jesus Christ’s ministry) is deeply connected to another great Prophet named Elijah. Those familiar with the Bible will know both John and Elijah had similar lives, callings, and even common enemies…

“And he (John the Baptist) will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”- Luke 1:17
“John’s (the Baptist) clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.”- Matthew 3:4
"He (Elijah) was a hairy man, and had a leather belt around his waist.”- 2 Kings 1:8

Before I end this piece, I also want to mention what a beautiful aspect of the belief in Reincarnation and Past Life Regression. The idea that souls knew each other in the Spiritual Realm before coming into this Material Realm is actually pretty universal and even has a basis in The Way of Christ. This belief is at times called Soulmates and Twin Flames. Dr. Brian Weiss even teaches of Souls having Soul Families in addition to their Soul Mates as well. That is why we can at times meet people in our lives that we know “we knew we loved before we met them”…Peace and Rejoice Always!
