Did the summer even happen? I’m in denial that we’re back from a magical two week trip to Hawaii which I will recap extensively for you in an upcoming post.

I’m back to work (corporate fashion mom here) and back to teaching breathwork which I’m so excited about (I missed everyone!). FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS:

Vacation is over and I feel rested and ready to tackle the fall. I want to be laser focused and that means getting rid of the little distractions. For me that is social media and the very addictive doomscrolling. I love my Brick but I’m ready to restrict the allowed scroll time even more. I want to be intentional with it and not waste precious hours on it. It’s all about putting the necessary guardrails around it so you don’t overindulge. I’m also supplementing for focus - I love these (plus tastes yummy). Helps with energy and focus throughout the day. I only take during the workweek.

PEPTIDES ARE BACK!

I took a summer break from my usual stack just because I didn’t want to travel with all the gear for injectables but I’m now back on my routine. This time I’m adding a nasal spray with Selank which is meant to reduce anxiety and increase focus. My current stack:

- Glutathione (energy, inflammation, immune system)

- Sermorelin (muscle growth + definition) - I have seen a realllllll difference. My muscle tone is truly on another level. I’m obviously strength training twice a week with Growth Ring classes at Tracy Anderson.

- GHK-CU for skin / nails. I took a break for two months as you have to make sure to cycle it properly to increase efficiency. This peptide worked amazingly well for me. Takes a bit to kick in at first but once it did I saw improvement in skin tightness and overall glow.

I’m going to add Selank through Phases, you can add yourself to their waitlist. If you don’t follow Lana you should do it now because she is mom goals and I love her. They also have this cute little peptide travel case that displays the internal temp to make sure your peptide stay cool during travels. How CUTE!

STRONG MORNINGS FOR BETTER DAYS:

Mornings are the foundation for my day. It doesn’t have to be super complex. For me that means setting up an alarm early enough so that I have an hour or so before my workout to:

• Drink my coffee in peace.

• Do something to connect with my higher self and workout my intuition muscle. I choose from tarot card pull, journal, meditation, visualization or breathwork. I don’t have to do all - I usually pick one or two. I love tarot - I usually just pull one card a day as a guidance card but I’ll get into more complex decks when I need a bit of clarity in my life or I feel stuck with something. I pull a card and journal for a bit about what the card brought up for me. It’s a peaceful and great way to connect to your intuition.

• A good workout is the main element. I need that 6 days a week. I’m a Tracy Anderson girl as you know but I also love Reformer Pilates which I need to get back to in September ( !!! the ultimate pilates queen).

SYSTEMS TO KEEP YOUR S**T TOGETHER:

Take a fresh new look at your schedule and routines. Does something need to go, are you having a hard time with consistency? Are too many things living in your head versus having an actual system that works for you so you don’t have to think about it.

• I like to set up time on Friday mornings for all admin tasks (that’s a block in my calendar). I only need one hour. During that time I print forms, call doctors to set up appointments for the girls, Matt or myself. I also book my beauty appoitments (botox, hair, laser etc).

• On Sundays I do a weekly review. I look at all the important work meetings (I have a corporate office job) on my calendar, office days vs remote, travel days, figuring out when do I have to take a 6am workout class or a 7am class. When school starts again I pick a day where I take my daughters to school and pick up (usually on Fridays). Starting September both girls will be in different schools so that’s going to be interesting (with different drop off and pick up times lol). My cal is blocked every Sunday at 6pm to do this quick review.

• I also highly recommend a notes app to keep track of your house chores and have a visual of how your week is organized. I call it “Life Org” Here’s what mine looks like. You just add the date next to the action. Helps keep a log of all the important things you need to do to make sure your house runs smoothly as well as the days dedicated to certain tasks: Admin, substack post, finance audit, rest day etc. I like this format since I’m a visual person.

  

THINGS WE NEED TO DISCUSS:

Did you guys know that Zara had a collab with Leon Bagels? Well neither did I - I found out while looking for fall clothes for Paloma and Violette and HAD to order this cute polo.

Got these amazing bowls for the girls. I love that the exterior is silicon. They are super easy to wash.

Got the zig zag headbands since the 90’s are back. Highly recommend.

Fatty 15 now has kids gummies and I’m obviously obsessed beyond words. I love their adult ones and I’ve been on the Fatty15 train for probably 2 years now (I used to take the pills but prefer the gummies now). I even got Matt on them. When I tell you I used to get sick all the time. I have seen such a difference in my immune system after a few weeks on it. I’m excited to have this for the girls as the fall and winter is cold and flu season and I always dread it.

Hi! I missed you! I’m currently writing this from Maui. It’s paradise on earth and I can’t wait to share our full itinerary upon return! Ok so let’s get to it.

After being in Maine for a few days and not working out, I cannot begin to explain how excited I was to go back to Tracy Anderson. I have to move my body 6x times a week. In Hawaii I haven’t been to the gym yet but we are so active everyday that I feel very sore at the end of each day. We did an epic 3 hour hike yesterday! Shoutout to my Salomon sneakers for being amazing. They are now covered in mud but I guess it gives them a bit of an edge. The advantage of jet lag is that we wake up extra early (around 5am) which allows us to have full days and start early. I have to say these gummies have been a lifesaver during the trip - on the plane but also on the first and second night - I slept a solid 7/8 hours despite a 6 hour time difference.

I was chatting with one of my besties Lea who’s a fellow french mom in NYC (and amazing therapist if anyone is looking) and we were just sharing how complicated it was to get dressed sometimes and to pack for a summer trip without getting overwhelmed or wanting to buy everything. I buy every piece of clothing I share here, nothing is gifted so it’s important for me to find style inspo that feel genuine and not ridiculously priced. I love love love fashion but I also was to buy strategically and smart and add to my closet year over year. I rarely (I would even say never) buy impulsively. I wait, I think, I really want to feel the need to have it in my closet and most often than not - once I finally decide it’s time, I rarely regret it.

Summer is going strong over here. I’m writing this post from Maine. We have a ritual every year where I bring my two best friends and it’s honestly the happiest times. We belly laugh, we go on long walks, we scroll together in silence (sign of true friendship) and we eat delicious food. They are the best aunties to my girls and we get time to catch up.

The past few weeks highlights include:

• Going to the Noah Kahan concert with and having the absolute best time. I forget how important it is to go see live music. This is our faces when we realized we had floor tickets.

• Flowers from the farmer’s market.

  

• This INSANE salted caramel latte from Salt Yard in Portland Maine. I think about it everyday.

• The ultimate girl dinner - only made possible when I’m solo at home.

  

  

  Note that it is crucial that you get this ranch seasoning for all your veggies.

• Tracy Anderson on REPEAT.

  2 very important items: terry scrunchies for sweaty hair during a workout and these cheap workout capris that I wear outside of the gym.

• Wearing my Chanel overalls finally after getting them tailored. TAILOR YOUR CLOTHES!!!

  

• Seeing my angel Jimena who is an eyebrow wizard. She’s hard to pin down but when you do it’s worth every penny.

• This weighted vest when you go on vacation. It doesn’t replace a workout but make a coffee walk a little more dynamic.

Post Maine I will be headed back to the city to get ready for our trip to Hawaii. We’re headed to Maui for two full weeks and I’m so excited. We have a full itinerary planned which I will share after our trip to make sure I give you my honest feedback on everything.

With one of my kids in camp and my husband traveling for work I had some free time to work on my annual declutter. Trust me I’m pretty clutter averse but there’s always more to clear, clean and organize especially as a parent.

I like to start September with a clean house. I also need to have an organized house before we go on a trip. The sheets need to be changed, towels have been cleaned, fridge is almost empty and deep cleaned. Same goes for our freezer. And needless to say, the hamper needs to be empty. No laundry. So yes, the day before I big trip I usually have my nanny come for extra hours so I can get most of the chores done (on top of packing). I usually ask our cleaning lady to come after we left to get the house extra clean for our return.

Speaking of my annual declutering:

I’m currently reading this book “Decluttering at the Speed of Life” by Dana K White. I’m pretty good with clutter but I feel like I keep on having to clear areas over and over. I needed a book that would give me a system to understand how clutter and mess happens and what to do about it. Also having kids - we know that once September hits, it’s go time until the holidays and there’s not a lot of down time on the weekend.

She’s VERY clear with what to do and even if certain part didn’t really apply there’s a lot that I took away from her book.

• The first one being - your house is your container. Meaning don’t try to add more organizing systems and boxes or bins. If a drawer is overflowing, get rid of things. If you have a drawer full of socks and you can’t close it - this is your container. Donate 5 pairs of socks or whatever is overflowing.

• The other main takeaway when decluttering was to LOOK AT YOUR STUFF. Open the box, don’t assume you know what’s in it just open it.

• I really liked the part about the kitchen, kids toys and clothing. You can skip through the parts that are not for you (I don’t have a garage or playroom).

Another tip - listen to it in audio book and declutter at the same time. It really motivates you to get rid of more. It’s almost like a coaching session running in the background.

You have to break the “autopilot” when it comes to your stuff. Really look at an item and think do I need this? And does it add to my life? Does it just “take space”? Why do I keep it? Sometimes we have objects or stuff that have been there for a while and we just don’t see them anymore.

Things I ordered recently:

New travel stroller from Cybex. I don’t love the Yoyo we have and it was just super worn down from all the traveling with our kiddos. This new stroller from Cybex is a dream. There’s a little basket at the bottom that fits a lot and a pocket at the back for passports etc. I love how you can have the seat lie flat if baby needs a nap. It’s SO easy to fold - I can actually do it with one hand. And it’s chic so that’s a plus.

I love FullWell for everything related to women’s health. This probiotic is a game changer, I was so excited to try. I religiously use their collagen which dissolves perfectly in my coffee every morning.

My friend Alex got me hooked on these sprouted pretzels. I’m a big fan of Stellar Pretzels but they are very hard to find. Almost as hard as Phoebe Philo flats haha.

My youngest throws every water bottles we give her on floor. I needed one without a protective cap on top. This one from Owala is perfect and doesn’t spill. 10/10

I spend hours cutting grapes for my kids. This has solved everything for me. Yes it’s one more thing in the kitchen drawers but it does save time (also works on cherry tomatoes)

Ordered some cute girly girl outfits for Paloma and Violette. This one is perfect for Hawaii. I couldn’t resist these embellished shorts.

I can’t remember if I talked about Ballerina Farm hot chocolate bone broth protein powder? Well this is the most delicious thing ever. It’s chocolatey and rich. I don’t use it as hot coco - I prefer it as a thick chocolate banana smoothie.

I got these hiking shoes for Hawaii as we are planning some hikes with the kids. I just love the color. I would actually wear them in the city.

Speaking of hikes, I also needed a very good sunscreen. I got this one to protect my skin at the beach or hiking.

I’m freshly back from Paris and I have to say, I feel like summer is starting now. Paloma (5) is now in camp up in Maine with my in-laws for a few week, husband is on a week and half long work trip and I’m here in NYC with my tiny little babe. We’re going up to Maine end of July and then gone for two weeks in Maui. I truly can’t wait to get there.

Since I’m home alone, I can tackle a few projects which obviously involve cleaning and organizing. I needed to handle my closet for a while. In the past two years I feel like there was a huge disconnect between my life and my closet. It’s weird to say but it’s true. I just didn’t have the closet that fits my lifestyle and I had to slowly build back towards that.

I don’t go out as much, I also spend most of my weekends with my kids going from one birthday party to the next or between the playground and the museum. I dress up for work but I like to mix and match between high and low, be comfy and feel good in my clothes. I don’t need a lot but I need basics that I can wear without overthinking. I’m also back to my pre pregnancy body and I know what works for me and what doesn’t.

While in Paris I was chatting with a friend who described her style as “sexy eclectic” and I thought to myself, what would be the two words that would describe my style? I couldn’t come up with anything.

I’ve come to realize a few thing about my closet and why it was so hard to get dressed in the morning:

Guilt is a big culprit in how we approach our closet especially around my age (38!!). We tend to accumulate a LOT throughout our most social years. I bought a lot of expensive clothes especially pre-kids. Working in fashion I had the privilege of getting a lot of designer clothes as part of my job and when you are in your 20’s it’s like winning the lottery. And now I know what I want to wear and it’s not a printed pink and blue checkered tweed mini dress. I just had to be real with myself - am I really going to wear this? When? Will I prefer to grab something that I’m actually excited about? Probably yes. It’s OK to have outgrown the energy of our clothes. We evolve and so is our style.

It doesn’t fit quite right but maybe it will. That one is a big issue for me. With two pregnancies in five years my weight has fluctuated a ton. I tend to keep things that are either too small or too big “just in case”. That ends up cluttering my closet with things that are not to wear now. Best solution is to either donate or if you have extra storage, label a box and store the clothes (I keep thinking I might want to get pregnant in a year or two).

It doesn’t fit, it’s stained, it’s broken. Whatever is in your closet needs to be ready-to-wear. Meaning it’s been altered if needed, it’s clean and it’s seasonal. If it’s not put it away in a bag that’s ready to go the tailor or dry cleaning.

Nothing works with it. Before you buy anything, make a proper inventory of what you already have and what properly goes together. Do you have pants that don’t have a top that really goes with it because of length or color or whatever?

What in your closet really excites you? What are you constantly gearing towards when getting dressed? Those are the items that you want to start building around. Favorite pair of jeans? Let’s build towards tops that can create many different outfits.

I still stand by the one year rule for clothes. If you haven’t worn something in a year, it has to go. End of story.

Now let’s get organized.

Hope everyone is having a great summer. I just got back from Paris and it was short but sweet!

I’ve been seeing this trend on TikTok and it got me thinking - what are some things I like to splurge on that are just really worth the money.

Worth it:

• Good bedding. Good mattress. Nothing worst than shitty quality sheets. I splurge every 6 months when there’s a good sale.

• Pots and pans. 10/10 worth it. Got a new one a few days ago.

• Botox.

• Tracy Anderson membership.

• I don’t think skincare necessarily has to be $$ but a good serum goes a long way.

• A few good pairs of cashmere socks in the winter.

I hope you all enjoyed this first week of summer. I had a pretty busy week with work and my daughter’s last week of school. I also planned her birthday on Friday and let me tell you - I was stressed. First I had to move the date as it was originally planned for Friday the 19th but a lot of families were gone because school was off. So I moved everything to the 26th and the entire week I was scared that it was going to rain and I would have to find a plan B. Thankfully the weather was gorgeous and the party was a 10/10. We got a face painter who did a stellar job. The cake was from Billy’s Bakery and they also nailed it. Extra points for the delicious chocolate buttercream flavor.

I went to see my naturopathic doctor (linked here she’s fantastic) and got my lab results and adrenal test results. The findings really surprised me. We all fear “HIGH CORTISOL” and all you can hear about on social media is “HOW TO LOWER CORTISOL” and “CORTISOL FACE!!!” lol. Well let me tell you I had quite the opposite. My cortisol all throughout the day was on the lower end of the spectrum. That’s RIGHT. And not only that but I was low in Gaba, Serotonin and Dopamine. Which I probably why I felt anxious, low mood and thought maybe I was tired or depleted by work.

If you have gone through fertility treatment like I did (even if it’s not IVF), you have to make sure you test your hormones after. I’m 19 months postpartum and little less than a year post nursing and I am still very much depleted. It’s hard for the body to catch up when you go back to work within 4.5 months of giving birth and go from one to 2 kids (plus being in NYC doesn’t really help).

I’m now super conscious of what is draining my energy and body and what to do to help that. I also want to be very cognizant of the information I consume. There’s so much out there it’s easy to get lost in all this. She put me on a supplement protocol and I’m getting acupuncture once a month.

Also I’m very excited to tell you guys about Sculptra. I have been dying to try it and heard great things. Since I lost some weight after 2 pregnancies I felt like I needed some help with regaining a bit of volume on my face. I can’t wait to share the before and after in another post but the glow is already incredible. I see Lauren Abramovitz (the BEST) in Tribeca at Skin Solutions Collective. What I like about Sculptra is that it activates your own collagen so you’re not adding any fillers.

Lauren is supppper intentional when it comes to facial balancing. Less is more always. She is the first one to say no to me. Her botox is CHEF’S kiss always. She also takes her time and never rushes.

Here’s the thing for summer you want to be as low maintenance as possible. For me that means a bit of winter prep:

• Laser (which I couldn’t do this winter as I was on a low dose of accutanne). Once I’m done with it and hopefully my hormones are back in balance, we will tackle acne scars and skin texture (PS: I’m also dying to go to Korea - we’re trying to plan a trip with my besties.. more to come on that).

• Laser hair removal touch ups.

• Botox every 4 to 5 months with Lauren.

• Brow maintenance (I started seeing Sania at Sania’s Brow Bar).

• Consistent workout (ideally sweating daily).

• Exceptional hydration.

• Peptide rotation stack (GHK-CU + Sermorelin + NAD + Glutathione) all of this on and off aside from Glutathione which I take religiously. Please check with your doctor before trying anything this is just what works for me.

These pants are my fave from Skims. Size down they run HUGE. I shortened them a little bit but they are my fave. In the summer I like to put my hair up in a bun since it’s too hot for a hair down moment. I love a good little scrunchie.

5 things this week:

1. I got targeted by an ad for the Fullest which offers saffron supplements. I got their saffron lattes and daily supplement in form of a pill. The latte is delicious - it’s a nice end of day treat. Saffron is one of the few botanicals where multiple RCTs and meta-analyses show effects comparable to SSRIs for mild-to-moderate depression, typically at 30mg/day of extract over 6-12 weeks.

2. I love loveeee and her perfect newsletter. She recommended these adult lunch boxes for travel and since we’re flying to Hawaii in August with the kids, I had to make sure our snack game for a 10 hour + flight was A++. Obviously I’ll be stocking up on Little Spoons snacks for the girls since they are obsessed. We love their puffs but also a big fan of their oat bars and fruit rippers.

Summer solstice is today. This summer is going to be busy for our fam. We have a trip to Maine - I’m actually excited to tell you guys about our favorite spots there. Swimming in the Maine will def wake you up. What I love there are the food and vibes - if Tracy Anderson had a location in Maine I would probably move there but the fitness scene is not there yet. I’m also planning our trip to Hawaii in August. And for now by planning I mean finding really cute vintage Hawaiian tee shirts. But working on a cool itinerary for us (please send me any recommendations you have). I’m also looking for any healing practionners, healers - all the things.

I have to say something really transformed for me after my amazing session with a few weeks ago. As we went deeper into my path, I told her how lately it’s been hard for me to hold a container for healing groups and breathwork. I mostly felt exhausted and running on fumes. What came up, was that I needed a pause - not just a pause, an intentional pause to refocus and rethink my offerings. The truth is that I have felt this for a while, but I needed to give myself permission to explore. I have been teaching non stop since 2020, groups, private clients (some that I now call friends - you know who you are!!!). It’s been amazing to build this community from scratch. But I need to feel inspired again, I want to offer more than just breathwork and I have some many ideas that I want to materialize.

Also I’m planning Paloma’s 5th birthday - and I don’t know why the hell I get so stressed out EVERY SINGLE TIME. My birthday is august 11th (Leo, August Leo aka the most leo of all leos), so my parents had a really good excuse to keep it low key since we were always away at that time - aside from gifts, dinner out with them and a cake. We were usually in Tunisia visiting my family on my mom’s side and we kept it small. I only have very beautiful memories from it. But let me tell you about kids birthdays in NYC. The bar is set up very HIGHHHH. I actually remember going to kid’s birthdays as a child at Mc Donalds and thinking “wowwwww what a COOL ass birthday”. Times have changed guys.

How is everyone doing these days? Feels like summer today in NYC and I’m loving it. I know deep down I’m made for tropical weather. I thrive in humidity and heat (maybe I should move to Miami). But unfortunately I married a west coast native who loves the cold so here we are.

Speaking of summer, we finally booked our Hawaii trip yipee!!! Can’t wait to share EVERYTHING we’re doing there with the girls (please share any recs!). I rely heavy on the Amigo app for recs. I have been loving the couple of 90 degrees days we’ve had in the city which really put me in the mood for summer (although it’s now cold so I’m back wearing a puffer). This was a rough week on a personal level since my dad is going through a lot of health issues. It’s been tough and I have not really been feeling like myself.

Ever since I did a DMT journey, I feel different about death (sorry we’re getting deep very quick). I won’t talk too much about what came up for me specifically as I’m still integrating it but I want to touch on the concept of oneness and death. When the medicine worked through my body, I felt a sense of complete dissolution of my own body and my own self. I was life but I was not a human body. I was everything. I had the feeling that this is what happens to your soul when you die, you just become all. It made me fear less and worry less about death.

I want to continue exploring this medicine. The feeling afterwards is extremely profound. It’s hard to explain the journey but the peace and quiet that followed after was something I had never felt before.

I did a lot for myself this month as I wanted to recenter and gain some clarity. I absolutely LOVED my session with - everything she said resonated so much with what I was going through. I listened to her recording again last night and took some notes. I can’t wait to book another session in the next few weeks to go deeper.

I also went to a naturopathic doctor to optimize my hormones. I’ll post about it once I get the full picture on what is happening and what I’ll be doing moving forward.

Things I’m making / baking:

French Gateau au Yaourt (a crowd pleaser):

INGREDIENTS

• 1 cups whole milk plain yogurt

• 1 cups granulated sugar

• 3 large eggs

• 0.5 cups neutral oil (grapeseed or sunflower)

• 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract

• 1 lemon zest

• 1.5 cups all-purpose flour

• 2 teaspoons baking powder

• 0.3 teaspoons baking soda

• 0.5 teaspoons fine sea salt

STEPS

1. Prep oven and pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.

2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cups whole milk plain yogurt, 1 cups granulated sugar, and 3 large eggs until smooth and slightly pale, about 1 minute. Add 0.5 cups neutral oil (grapeseed or sunflower), 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract, and 1 lemon zest. Whisk until fully combined and emulsified.

3. Add dry ingredients: Sift in 1.5 cups all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 0.3 teaspoons baking soda, and 0.5 teaspoons fine sea salt directly into the wet mixture. Fold gently with a spatula until just combined — a few streaks of flour are fine. Do not overmix.

4. Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

5. Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature. Dust with powdered sugar or top with fresh berries if desired.

NOTES

**Keys to the fluffiest result:**

- Use **full-fat yogurt** Greek yogurt works but thin it with 1 tbsp milk first or the crumb gets too dense

- **Oil over butter** is the secret to moisture that lasts days

- **Don’t overmix** once the flour goes in, fold only until just combined

- The lemon zest is optional but lifts the whole flavor profile

I also LOVE a slow cooked meat. I usually make that on Sundays so we have it for a few days early in the week. This is a slow cooked pork shoulder roast with miso. Kids lovedddd it too.

Slow Cooker Miso Pork Shoulder

Fall-apart pork shoulder with deep umami from white miso, soy, and ginger. Minimal prep, hands-off cook time.

INGREDIENTS

• 3 pounds bone-in pork shoulder (butt)

• 3 tablespoons white miso paste

• 2 tablespoons soy sauce

• 1 tablespoons rice vinegar

• 1 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

• 1 tablespoons toasted sesame oil

• 4 garlic cloves, minced

• 1 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated

• 0.5 cups water or chicken stock

• 1 teaspoons kosher salt

• 0.5 teaspoons black pepper

STEPS

1. Prep the pork: Pat 3 pounds bone-in pork shoulder (butt) dry with paper towels. Score the fat cap with a knife if present. Season all over with 1 teaspoons kosher salt and 0.5 teaspoons black pepper.

2. Make the miso glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons white miso paste, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoons rice vinegar, 1 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, 1 tablespoons toasted sesame oil, 4 garlic cloves, minced, and 1 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated until smooth.

3. Load the slow cooker: Pour 0.5 cups water or chicken stock into the slow cooker. Place pork inside and pour the miso glaze all over, using your hands or a brush to coat every surface.

4. Slow cook: Cook on LOW for 8–10 hours or HIGH for 5–6 hours, until the meat is completely tender and falling off the bone.

5. Broil to finish: Remove pork and set on a foil-lined baking sheet. Spoon or brush some of the cooking liquid over the top. Broil on high for 4–5 minutes until the surface is caramelized and slightly charred.

6. Shred and rest: Rest for 10 minutes, then shred with two forks, discarding any large fat pieces. Toss the shredded meat back into the cooking juices to soak up flavor before serving.

NOTES

**Don’t skip the broil step** it takes 5 minutes and makes the difference between good and great.

**Serving ideas:** Over steamed rice with pickled cucumbers and scallions, in lettuce cups, or stuffed into bao buns YUMMMMMMM

**Miso note:** White miso is sweeter and more subtle. For deeper flavor, use red miso or a 50/50 blend just reduce the soy slightly as it gets saltier.

**Make ahead:** Even better the next day. Store shredded pork in its juices in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Few things I have been loving this week (in no particular order!)

Loonen Water: great for on the go clean water. We have an Aquatru at home which I love. It’s reverse osmosis water and it removes up to 83 contaminants.

I got these shots for my husband. You guys know I don’t drink but he does sometimes and this helps with HANGXIETY (wow I really don’t miss that). There’s a microdose of THC which is just enough to take the edge off. On the same topic I love my Dream Gummies when my brain can’t shut down and I want to have a peacefull night.

I’m adding more fibers to my smoothies. This is what I got - easy to use and provides 6 grams which is a big win.

I have been living in this set (bra + thong) from Negative. I refuse to wear anything that is uncomfortable. The bra is so comfy that I forget I have a bra on and will go to bed with it. Special mention for this tee - I got 2 since that’s all I want to wear for sleep.

We got a new bunk bed for our daughter, and these sheets are to die for.

Welcome back. We’re cruising over here. If you are new to my Substack I’m really happy you’re here. It’s been a busy two weeks, coming back from traveling, work, kids and getting ready for the summer. We’ve had a really nice taste of summer in NYC these past few days and as an August Leo I just LOVE it so much. Give me humidity and heat all day long.

I don’t know what is in the air but I’m feeling like it’s time to shift a few things around and move some furniture around the house. I get that feeling every now and then and when it hits it’s absolutely necessary I get it done. I’m also very excited about my session with on Sunday. I booked it a while ago and it couldn’t come at a better time

More than ever my husband and I are starting to feel a real need for more time in nature and away from the city. Having a place to rest your nervous system is becoming our top priority right now - especially with two little girls full of energy and demanding jobs. My ultimate goal is to get a vegetable garden. So you better believe I have a veggie garden (and chickens!) on my vision board.

Also my husband ( !! ) had an open studio last weekend. His art is hot commodity I’m just saying.

Speaking of summer what are we wearing when it’s 90 degrees outside and -20 in an office. My bestie told me I always find the best pants and it really made me realize that yes I’m always on a quest for the best work pants (also easy for daily mom life) and as a result I have no tops to wear them with (that’s for another time).

This newsletter is coming a little later than usual. I have been traveling for work and got hit with Norovirus while on my way there so that was fun. I have been feeling like absolute crap in April. I don’t know why I just couldn’t find my flow. I felt uninspired and sad?

When those emotions show up, my first instinct is to run…and honestly, sometimes I do. But then I catch myself and come back. Because I know this discomfort isn’t random. It’s the process. Something old is being shed so something new can take root.

Think of it like downloading a new iOS, before it installs, you have to delete what's taking up space. That's what this is. Making room.

I just ask myself - what needs to be addressed right now?

It's the in between, the nothingness, that holds the most transformation. I'm not fully back to myself yet. But I'm starting to catch glimpses of her.

Yup. Feels very familiar.

Usually when I go through a bit of a valley, meditation and breathwork are the first things that become a challenge. I have to force myself to sit down and feel instead of escaping, scrolling, and numbing. That’s the real challenge.

So if you have been feeling all the feels lately (or avoiding them) here are a few things that help me reconnect.

1. Rework your spiritual practice. It’s okay to rethink your rituals every now and then. I used to be a TM meditator, twice a day for 20 minutes. That’s not my reality anymore. Now I aim for 5 to 10 minutes every few days, just to experience stillness. But my one non-negotiable is bookending my day: right before sleep and first thing in the morning, I visualize something I want to manifest. I see myself living it. And I’m okay if one day I change it all up. Just find what works for you right now.

2. Reframe. Not in a forced positive thinking way, I actually hate that. But gently shifting the lens: I GET to travel. I GET to move my body. LOOK AT WHAT I CREATED. It interrupts the spiral.

3. Listen to an entire album and cry if you need to. The new Noah Kahn album. I cried a lot and loved every minute of it.

4. Get outside and touch grass. Literally. Trees too.

5. Think and act like a child. See things for the first time. Laugh in full presence. Even five minutes of genuine wonder changes something. I watch my daughters interact with the world with pure joy and it reminds me what that feels like. They believe in fairies, unicorns, and Santa Claus. There is something sacred in that.

6. Audit your energy. We are pure energy and we absorb more than we realize from the people around us, what we watch, what we listen to on repeat. Sometimes I sage myself or take a bath with the intention of releasing what is not mine. A good breathwork session does the same. The exhale is a release. Old patterns, beliefs, things you have been carrying that were never even yours to begin with. If tears come, let them. That is just your body closing the loop.

7. Move furniture around and throw stuff out. I know it sounds simple. It works.

In more fun news, here are some things I have been loving this week:

• I always look for productivity hacks. As a working mom I feel like I constantly have 20 tabs opened all at once. I loved this post from about making time at the end of the week to “close opened tabs” - any annoying admin that lives rent free in your head that needs to get done (pediatrician checkup, sign up for soccer, random doctor’s appointments etc).

• Bobbi Brown Muffins: Did you guys know she has muffins? Well now you do. I love anything Bobbi does.

• How cute is this little kid’s set?

• Stocked: When I went on my work trip I ordered from Stocked for Matt and the kids. The food is incredible it feels like it’s homemade and they even have kids options. It’s really great for weeks when you don’t have time to cook and don’t want to rely on food delivery (because who does?).

• Boostcous: I got targeted for this high protein and fiber couscous and I thought wait - why NOT? It’s 10/10 delicious and my kids love it.

• Beef Broth concentrate: found this and I’m obsessed. It’s great on its own but also good to add flavor to it.

• These silicon tongs from Public Goods. I use them non-stop. I love both sizes.

• This new detergent smells SO good, I can’t stop using it for towels and sheets. I also love the scent booster.

Welcome back. This week was a busy introduction back to work after a week break and I’ve really been non stop. I’m still on my no buy April. This really goes to show you that most buying impulses will pass if you don’t lean into them. I am keeping track of things I really really want and might just make a little exception for the Sephora sale to restock on a few essentials but other than that it’s been great and a realization that yes shopping is a dopamine rush it’s not about the item itself it’s more about the process. I would say you keep track of what you want to buy and only purchase one day a month (like the end of the month for example).

1- It makes you realize the amount of stuff you want to buy all together on one list.

2- You will probably end up editing a lot before buying.

I’m also really trying to be consistent with practices that calm me and increase my mood’s baseline. I have been more sensitive than ever lately. I think it’s a combination of multiple things (traveling, winter fatigue, motherhood fatigue, needing time alone, work, life etc). When I’m consistent with them, I find myself feeling incredible pockets of pure joy and gratitude. When I’m not; old thoughts and patterns come back, I’m more on edge and I can’t connect to my intuition. I would say the number one thing that affects my mood is poor sleep. I had a bad night 2 nights ago where Violette woke up a few times, she threw up and was very unwell. She’s ok now but obviously I slept around 5 hours and still made it to the gym (I’m crazy like that). I think sometimes I need movement to help me get through the day but the real foundation is sleep. I need to be in bed by 9 pm no matter what (workout classes starts at 6 am on weekdays).

I also find that with 2 young kids - you just don’t find moments of connection with your husband or partner that easily. Matt and I have very very busy lives. We also have “shifts” he does the morning with the girls while I work out and I do the night one when I get home from the office around 6pm and our nanny leaves. He gets home around 7 or 8 (if not later sometimes) and we don’t get to have as much quality time together. We both want to have our time after the kids sleep to catch up on life. It’s a balance I struggle to find especially with a full time job and other passions I’m pursuing (and same goes for Matt who’s an artist with an excellent substack). I love the idea of putting 1 date a month in the calendar and really committing to it - Matt is really good at following through on it but I’m the one who needs to be dragged out of the house.

I’m off to Biarritz next Friday for work and I’m excited to be in France again. I really want to check out this vintage store (will report back) and bring back some local bread, butter and other items from the basque region.

Here are some of my favorite things this week:

AI to track expenses: I finally started using AI to track my budget each month. I just needed a cash flow document that was easy to use and really made for me to better understand cash flow (especially as I get paid bi-weekly). I prompted Claude with an overview of my exact needs and what my income was and expenses but also added what my husband and I split (where he sometimes just pays me back). It came up with a doc tailored to my needs (after a few tweaks) that helps me save enough for my emergency fund, pay my credit cards etc.

Got my brows done by Sania at Sania’s brow bar and I love the result. Will def be back.

I don’t LOVE Trader Joe’s I think it’s a little overrated but I always find little treats and snacks that are worth it. I do love their organic frozen veggies though. These chocolate covered strawberries are delish. You just have to read all the ingredients. Lots of seed oils everywhere…

New Justin Bieber Coachella merch is amazing - My husband got me this hoodie.

TRE (via Krissy): I have discovered this trauma release method thanks to and wow. It’s mind blowing. It will only take you 15 minutes. Try it!

OKKKK here we are. In this newsletter I will breakdown my full peptide program that helped with lean body / muscle mass, energy, immune system and hair+skin+nail. But first let’s talk about my canceled trip. We were supposed to go to Miami for a few days with the girls but the weather looked so bad - basically non stop rain for 3 days. No thanks. So we decided to reschedule. But on the flip side I was able to get all my taxes done (Yipeee) and I did a lot of spring cleaning / organizing, tackling clothes and messy drawers. I also want to get all of our winter puffers and accessories away. I also want to organize the girls drawers (again!) it’s a really thankless job because it’s non stop - the process never ends lol. But this is something I need time for and now I have a bit of time in my hands to handle it.

As per usual I’m writing you from my couch at the crack of dawn while my husband and kids are asleep. We’re headed to Miami for a few days on Monday and I’m really excited. I would have LOVED to go to Tracy Anderson there but it’s a little far from the hotel so I decided to book Fuze House which seems like a good in between. I will be walking to and from - adding about 45 mins of walking to the hot sculpt workout so that seems like a good overall movement plan.

If you know me, you know that working out is part of every travel (as much as possible) and I really need a game plan before getting to our destination. I’ll check out the hotel gym online and any workout I can do that is nearby. I have to move my body otherwise I’ll go insane.

I’m going to Biarritz for work in a few weeks so I’ll take any recs you may have on studios. My issue with reformer pilates in France is that classes are usually easy or medium hard. Also had to take Violette to her 16 months check-up. She HATES going to the doctor my poor baby! But she was so brave.

Highlights of the week:

• This week has been pretty busy on the work front so I needed a bit of extra self care. I took Steph’s pilates class yesterday at the WSA and it was a 10/10 perfect (per usual) my body is sore in the best way. I usually take one day of full rest - I don’t even try to hit 10k steps. I just embrace full rest for my body since I’m very active throughout the week.

• Wednesday 4/1 was a Full Moon so I made sure to sage around the house and did my cinnamon ritual for the first of the month. I also moved around a few objects and things around the house. And of course fresh flowers for good vibes!

• I did a pretty big Zara haul for my daughters - their summer collection is SO cute it was very hard to resist (these pants !! with the top!!). While I don’t buy Zara for myself I like it for kids. It’s cute, it’s very well priced and I don’t feel bad if there’s giant ketchup stains. I like to buy a mix of Zara and more $$ items from Ralph Lauren (like this dress!!) or whatever is cute on Maisonette when they have a sale. I can’t have the stress of worrying about Paloma’s cashmere cardigan while she’s at school painting haha.

• Speaking of kid’s clothes - Maisonette has a sale and I got this dress and this dress. No shop April doesn’t apply for kids lol.

• These gummies when you can’t sleep. THANK ME LATER. It’s like a full body massage for your nervous system. Sometimes I feel a bit too wired or stressed and this is the perfect amount of THC (microdose) to calm me and drift into a deep sleep.

• We love a good healthy snack in our house. Paloma is obsessed with these.

• I don’t know why I have held off on buying a toaster for YEARS. I finally got this VERY cheap one because of the size - it’s great and gets the job done.

• These ruffled socks for girls are adorable. I got for both kids and they have tons of cute colors.

• Great alternative for kid’s snack when you want to avoid Cheerios.

If you are in NYC I hope you have been enjoying this glorious beautiful weather. We will be escaping soon to Miami for a bit more warmth with the girls for a few days and I cannot wait. I have been enjoying some iced drinks like it’s the middle of July. I told you guys I have a new addiction for iced vanilla lattes and discovered POCA - which is a sugar free syrup. I can’t even begin to explain how GOOD it tastes and you can take it anywhere because it comes in individual little pouches. Well I tried their caramel flavor and its a 10000/10. Now, a new addiction has entered the chat and it’s iced caramel lattes. So the trick is that you order a regular iced latte and you add your little POCA to it. I usually hate the after taste that sugar free syrups have but this one tastes just like the real one. It’s not sponsored I have legit ordered 3 packs of 10 lol.

In other news I’m not shopping in April. My besties inspired me and I’m going to go with the challenge. I also feel like it’s never a good idea to buy for Spring too early (aka April the weirdest month on the calendar). Wish me luck.

Also wanted to touch on a topic - ANXIIIEEEETY.

Ever since having kids I have to be way more intentional with how I take care of my mental health. My anxiety is way easier to trigger, my fears are bigger, more things are at stake. Worrying about myself is one thing, but worrying about two little beings that are the joy of my life and the center of everything is another. I feel so vulnerable at all times because my heart is split in 3 between my kids and my husband and I can’t be there at all times to protect them and control everything they do to make sure they are safe.

But I have learned to manage these fears, to take care of my nervous system so that it doesn’t ruin my day to day but rather make me realize that love is so much bigger than all of that and that it’s also indestructible.

1- Extreme presence: I take moments during the day and especially with my daughters to feel extremely present. No phone of course, but a consciousness of all the sensations I’m feeling right now at this moment. The smell of their hair freshly washed, the sensation of their little hands in mine. The endless kisses and embrace or their little voices. I bathe in those sensation and I let them take over my entire being. Even it’s just a 10 seconds full awareness. I know I won’t ever be able to go back in time, but I know that at that time I was fully there.

2- Daily mantras: “You are safe, you are protected”. All throughout the day and when I need it. I connect with these words deeply. You can change that to whatever resonates. You can also find moments (commute, bathroom break, brushing your teeth) to repeat these mantras.

3- Night time to-do list check. Close the day knowing the priorities for the next day. Also important but go to bed with a clean and tidy house. Do a quick “turn down” before you go to sleep so you don’t wake up in a messy home.

4- Every now and then I switch up frames, painting and furniture. Doesn’t matter when really but I usually trust my intuition. You need to let energy flow and switch up things around the house. If you have been feeling stuck or uninspired - try to move objects around and see how you feel.

5- Remind yourself that it’s not all about you. Check in on a friend and be present for others. Sometimes getting out of our own drama is the most healing thing we can do for ourselves.

Happy Spring! This past weekend was absolutely DREAMY. This was also my first weekend home in 2 weeks so needless to say it was MUCH needed. I did start to feel a little tingle in my throat and took all the necessary measures to fight this ASAP. I have an arsenal of herbal remedies and I just take everything. I still went and got my sweaty workout at Tracy. Also I was stunned and so happy to see so many of you loving my Breathwork class “Return to Light”. My next online offering will come out soon and I’m so excited.

Saturday was lovely, we spent great quality time with the girls. I didn’t get to stop by the farmer’s market but stopped by Pino’s in Soho - a wonderful butcher (PSA it’s cash only) and got a chuck roast to make this week (I love a slow cooked meat). It’s a great meal for the entire family and gets better overtime. Usually lasts us 2 to 3 days. This recipe is easy. You definitely need a crockpot. It’s cheap and you can literally make anything. I also got spicy lamb burgers for Matt and I.

I stopped by Happier Grocery (our NYC version of Erewhon) and got their chicken tenders, some Force of Nature meatballs, cheese, fruit leather for Paloma who is obsessed, and picked up this liposomal vitamin C to fight my cold.

For dinner I made beef meatballs in my Ninja Crispi (a big staple in our house). The great thing about it is that the fat drips at the bottom so it gives you a less fatty meatball and you can use a bit of marinara if you want to serve it with pasta. Also a big hit with the girls (and Matt!).

We stopped by McNally Jackson and picked up 2 books for Paloma and I picked up Strangers by Belle Burden (it’s a pretty intense read especially before bed..but I cannot put it down - what a great feeling to look forward to reading a book at night). I love my kindle but I want to support local bookshops.

1- Is everyone sick lately or is it just me? I started feeling a little tingle in my throat and immediately took this tincture from Wishgarden and I’m pretty sure this is what helped me fight it in a matter of 24 hours. I’m a big fan of their sleep tincture and focus when you need to tackle some work.

2- I love the smell of Copal in the house. I find it particularly grounding. I bought some from The Alchemist Kitchen in Soho but you can really find it anywhere.

I’m finally back from a wild two weeks of work travels. I will post a little more in the next three weeks to catch up (I’m writing a very juicy post on peptides whoop whoop). I was also very busy creating this new breathwork journey and I can’t even tell you how excited I am to finally launch it today…

Today, the light and dark meet in perfect balance. And then the light wins.

There is something ancient in the body that knows this day. Even before you check the calendar, something shifts. A restlessness. A pull toward open windows. An urge to begin again. The Spring Equinox is not a metaphor. It is physics. It is real. And it is one of the most potent portals of the year for anyone doing any kind of inner work.

Today, March 20th, the sun crosses the celestial equator and day and night are held in equal measure.

Here are ten things I am doing, and invite you to do, to honor this special shift:

1. Wake with the sun.

Set your alarm for sunrise and sit by a window or go outside if you can with something warm in your hands. Let your first conscious act be receiving light rather than producing something. This one small thing reorganizes the whole day.

2. Cleanse your space, physically and energetically.

Open every window and door you can. Let the air move through. Change your sheets. Bring in fresh flowers. Tulips, ranunculus, daffodils, whatever is blooming near you. Burn palo santo, cedar, or whatever calls to you. Clear your desk. Equinox energy is a natural invitation to release what has accumulated. Energetically, physically, emotionally. You do not need to do a major overhaul. You just need to let the stale air out and let something living in. Extra bonus points if you can pick one area in your home to organize or clear. Even just a drawer will do the trick.

3. Dress the part.

Put on something in the colors of the season. Light pink, sage, soft ivory, the palest yellow. What we wear is a signal we send to our own nervous system. You are not the same person you were in January. Dress accordingly. Let your body feel the shift before your mind catches up.

4. Write what you are releasing.

Get it out of your body and onto paper. What has the winter been holding? What grief, what smallness, what story about yourself that is no longer true? Write it without editing. Then burn it, bury it, or tear it up. The ritual matters. The body needs a physical signal that the season has changed.

5. Write what you are calling in.

On a fresh page. What does your life feel like in its fullest expression this year? Not goals. Feelings. I feel expansive. I feel chosen. I feel rooted in my purpose and free in my expression. Let yourself go there. Neville Goddard (if you are not familiar check out his work on manifesting) would say: feel it real. So feel it real.

And if words are not your medium, make a vision board. The images you are drawn to right now are not random. They are information. Honor them by giving them a home somewhere you will actually see them.

6. Get your body on the earth.

Bare feet on grass, on dirt, on sand. Whatever you can access. The science behind grounding is real. Direct contact with the earth’s surface transfers electrons into the body, reducing inflammation and calming the nervous system. But beyond the science, it just feels like coming home. Spring is the earth waking up. I love my PEMF mat from Higher Dose. I use level 2 all the time - which recreates the grounding electromagnetic field of the earth. It’s amazing post flight.

7. Do a breathwork session lying down.

This one you knew I would include. The equinox is a liminal moment, a threshold between what was and what is becoming, and breathwork is the fastest, most reliable way I know to meet yourself there. Lie down. Eyes closed. Let the breath take you somewhere the thinking mind cannot.

If you haven’t noticed yet the current astrology / planets is on fire. And you are sensitive to energy you might be feeling the shifts. So this is not the time to watch this happen and not do anything. The issue sometimes is that there is too much noise all around and we end up confused on what to do. I’m a big proponent of keeping things simple and realistic. So you might not be repeating affirmations 100 times before bed, or staring at your vision board for 10 mins upon waking up and THAT IS FINE.

If you don’t know me (yet) I’m a corporate girlie but with a legit side hustle. I teach breathwork. But not JUST that. I teach people how to tap into their inner most juicy power and intuition in order to become the best version of themselves and plug into the universe so they can create the life they dream about. It all happens through accessing an altered state of consciousness, rewiring and creating new wires in your brain.

I’m telling you… this works.

I created classes (in person and virtual) that I really wanted to exist and couldn’t find. • Don’t outsource your power. Best thing I ever did was to stop thinking the answer was outside (healers, self help books, other people’s opinions). When I started going inward and trusting that the answers are already there, things started to shift. No one has answers for you but yourself, you just need to tap into this intelligence. You are the universe and the universe is you. You just need to connect (comes breathworkkkkk).

• Stop avoiding discomfort and pain. I mean this one speaks for itself. Be ok with discomfort. Be ok with change. Accept that to evolve and upgrade you will have to face the s***t that is not fun (trauma, pain, grief, sadness).

• Use astrology and moon cycles to enhance, expand and guide you. Nothing to be “scared” of, just knowing that it’s there to support decision making or even "not making decisions at all”.

• Be realistic with what you CAN do on a daily or weekly basis. I find some rituals overwhelming and complicated. Do what you can but be consistent.

• Stop sharing everything. Your dreams, your goals - until they happen they need to be yours and yours only. Talking about them too much dilutes the energy little by little. Once they happen: share, be excited!

Happy February. It’s been so nice to slow down a bit the past few days and be home with the fam. I have been thinking a lot about what I want to accomplish this year. It’s a great month to set things in motion. I was back at Skyting last week where I taught a breathwork class. I just love teaching. I’ll be back March 1st if you are in NYC sign up here! Spring is coming on March 20th - so make sure you give yourself a nice little nervous system reset before entering a new season.

Ok here’s a little round up of my current obsessions:

1- GHK CU: Skin peptide for boosting collagen and skin tightening (+ hair growth). Please check with your doctor before trying obviously. I have seen a real difference in skin hydration and plumpness so far but down the line it’s supposed to also help with scarring, collagen, hair growth etc. I will soon write a post about the peptides I am using for anti-aging / energy.
