Four years ago, I sent out the first 3 ideas on Sunday. It was December 12th, 2021. And that email went out to 6 subscribers.

I made it my mission to send a newsletter every Sunday, and have never missed a week.

But now, 207 newsletters later, it’s time.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized there’s one secret ingredient behind every successful business.

The secret = focus.

When you put all of your focus on something, it grows.

But when you try to spread your focus across multiple projects, they all suffer.

As I continue to put my focus into the business I’m building, I need to remove side projects that are stealing my focus.

Which has led to my decision to stop writing 3 ideas on Sunday.

So what’s next? I still want to write to you! Here, through this newsletter.

Except, instead of sending you 3 business ideas every Sunday, I’ll be sending you business recaps, once a month.

Things like growth hacks I’m using, how business is going, business opportunities I see, or the latest and greatest AI tools. It’ll be good, trust me.

I think an AI skin care app would absolutely crush it on TikTok.

Except I would change this idea up a bit.

I would make the app analyze pictures of your skin, and then use AI to recommend a 30-60 day plan to clear up your skin or make it better.

That way, you’re selling an outcome (clear skin).

And there’s sooooo many beauty and makeup creators out there, you’d have no problem finding 100’s of creators to promote this.

2. The Most In-Demand Skill Right Now

This one’s not exactly a business idea. But i think it might be one of the most in-demand skills right now.

Creators who can explain and teach complicated technology or concepts in an easy to understand way, can change the trajectory of a business.

If you’re looking for your next venture or skill to learn, I highly recommend getting good at this.

Use a screen recorder like Tella.tv, and start making videos of your favorite AI tools. Post them to Youtube. Get a lot of reps in. And opportunities will start to knock on your door.

3. Replit’s new Agent 3 is Insane

Replit released their new Agent 3 this last week, and its pretty awesome.

It’s a ‘full self driving’ agent, meaning it can work on it’s own for a really long time. It will find its own bugs, test all of the functions, and make all of the fixes.

All by itself.

Buy it for life is growing community.

People are tired of buying cheap items that are built to be replaced. They’re happy to pay a lot more, if it means a better build.

So I think there’s two ways to play this trend.

1. Build products that are “buy it for life” quality. Could be jackets, backpacks, wallets, hats, belts, etc. Anything that someone would pay for high quality.

2. Online digital products and communities like this paid forum idea.

Distribution for both of these could be done exclusively through TikTok & IG.

And after a few viral posts, word of mouth would kick in too.

2. Instagram News Pages

Instagram news pages that use post formats like this crush it.

You can go from 0 to 10’s of thousands of followers in a matter of a few months, and own a large audience in that niche.

Here’s how I’d do this:

1. Pick a trending niche that has a lot of news or stories. (AI, tech, fashion, sports, cars, politics, government, etc. )

2. Use Canva to make a re-usable template.

3. Use google keywords, perplexity, and feedly to track news stories in your niche.

4. Post 2-3 times a day.

Then sit back… and profit??

I’d monetize a page like this with sponsorships, affiliates, or sending the traffic to another product like a newsletter or online store.

3. Build Free Websites with ChatGPT

Did you know you can build 100% free websites with ChatGPT, and then host them on Vercel… also, 100% free?

Well, you can.

A great software should make a business more money than they pay for it. And that’s exactly what this does.

This example is for a re-booking SaaS specifically for Salons… however, this could be for any business that take appointments.

• Barbers

• HRT clinics

• Dental offices.

• And so many others.

But as always, it’s best to start with one sepcific type of business before going after all of them.

I love this because there’s a clear ROI, which makes it easier to sell.

An SVG file (Scalable Vector Graphics), is a type of image file that uses XML code to describe two-dimensional images.

It’s what designers use to make sure that the image stays the same quality when resized.

And I love this biz idea because there’s already demand (search volume), and the new model on Replicate will let you generate these files super cheap.

Sometimes the best Software business start as internal tools at companies.

Like Slack, which started as a internal chat tool for a team working on an online game called glitch.

They realized how useful the tool was, so they pivoted and offered it to other companies. And then they sold it for $27 billion!

I think “Scout” is another $100M SaaS company waiting to be built.

Who’s gonna do it?

2. Earnings Call Transcript API

Just look at that search demand…. Wowzer.

People likely want earnings call transcripts so they can plug them into their own SaaS or info product.

And they just want to be able to pay for an API and plug it in.

So this is your opportunity.

Create a service that transcribes every earnings call with AI. Then offer those transcripts in an API.

Use google SEO and search ads to get customers.

And now you have a SaaS that runs on autopilot. (Jk, no business really runs on autopilot.)

This is the type of mobile app that can go from $0 to $10’s of thousands per month in revenue, in a few months.

The fact that “my type of nails” has 20M searches per week is insane.

That’s all the business validation you need.

So here’s the playboook.

1. Use cursor or Claude Code + freelancers to build an MVP.

2. Start putting out nail content on TikTok every day to drive your first users.

3. Once you have some initial revenue, put it all back into creator marketing.

4. Scales, repeat, profit.

Bonus points if you or your significant other are really into nails.

2. AI Wordpress Builder

Wordpress powers 40% of the internet.

That number still blows my mind, every time I hear it.

If you’ve ever tried building a Wordpress site, you already know… it kinda sucks.

But now we have AI, so it doesn’t need to suck anymore.

I think we’re at a time in history were you can bootstrap an AI WordPress builder company into 10’s of million in revenue.

Adding Ai into things that people are already doing is where the real opportunity is right now.

3. Chat GPT-5 vs Replit & Lovable

OpenAi finally released GPT-5, and the internet went pretty nuts about it (not all in a good way).

A lot of people said it was a huge dud, because nothing crazy changed.

Everything just got a little smarter and faster.

But I’m impressed with it’s coding.

So I compared it’s coding capabilities to Replit & Lovable.

If you want to build an AI business, this might be the best route.

Everyday, people search for “generator for {insert keyword}”.

And now with AI, you can build the sites they’re looking for in a matter of hours.

Examples:

• Business name generator

• Simple graph generator

• Fake text generator

If I were to do this, here’s the steps I’d take:

• Ask Chatgpt to give you a bunch of generator ideas.

• Take those keywords to the free Google keyword explorer to find the ones with the most search traffic.

• Use Namecheap to find exact match domains.

• Build the site with Replit.

Don’t overthinking it. Just start testing.

2. A payment processor with less fees

Stripe fee’s suck.

For example, if you charge someone $1,000 for a service, and send them a stripe link to pay for it, you’ll only receive $970.

That’s $30 gone, just to collect payment.

This is a major pain point for businesses, so if you can solve it (or at least do better), its a massive opportunity.

3. How to Build an AI Lead Gen Agency to $10K

This week, the CMO of perspective showed me a step buy step tutorial of how to start a lead gen funnel agency and grow it to $10K per month.

• How to choose a niche.

• How to build funnels.

• How to run ads.

• How to get customers.

• And how to use AI to do all of it, so you don’t need to hire a team.

I’ve come across directories like this before, and they’re passive income machines.

They’re super basic. Plain HTML directories that consolidate listings for a specific type of product.

This one specifically has 100+ listings for monitors.

Then, when someone’s looking to buy a monitor, they go to this site and sort through a ton of different listings, filtered by features.

Don’t overthinking it.

Pick a product. Buy a straightforward domain. Use AI to scrape all of the data. Use Amazon affiliate links to make $. Use an AI site builder like Replit to build it. Profit?

2. AI Generated Music YouTube Channel

There’s Youtube channels that post 1hour+ videos of music and absolutely print.

Music like lo-fi, focus music, or synth waves.

These are videos that people play for background music while they work.

But they used to require you to produce the music yourself, or hire someone for $$$.

Now with AI tools like Suno, you can produce all the music with AI.

I think this is a big opportunity right now if you commit.

Just do the research to find the best niche, and pair it with a solid SEO focused title, and simple thumbnail.

3. How to Build & Sell Ai Agents

I recorded a full tutorial on how to build AI agents.

And then I gave out 3 AI agents you could sell to small businesses right now.

But it’s only available in San Fransisco right now. So that’s the opportunity.

$199/M is probably too cheap to run this without raising money.

But what if you just copied this exact service, and charged $399-$499 per month.

Market to high end neighborhoods with Facebook groups, yard signs and referrals.

Imagine waking up on Monday and getting a recap of all of the places you spent your money last week.

One part of me hates this idea... Because who wants to be reminded a second time about the money they spent…?

But the other part of me loves this, because it would create better financial habits.

It’s like the first time you start counting your calories and didn’t realize you were eating so much.

Someone should vibe code this and release a beta via X and Reddit.

The recap screenshots alone have the potential to go viral.

Now that everything feels like it’s written by AI, 100% human written feels like a novelty.

I think there’s an opportunity to start a “verification” service that verifies writing like books, blogs, etc., as real human written.

Just like tuna canning companies pay thousands of dollars for a “dolphin safe” badge on their cans, that is supposed to certify no dolphins were harmed while fishing.

I’m confident someone will build this service and make a ton of money.

But distribution will be the hardest part to figure out.

2. Automation ideas to Sell

I spend a lot of time in automation subreddits, and I constantly see automations built around content.

Turning articles or ideas into videos or posts.

The problem is that most of the content produced by these automations is bad.

And they don’t solve a problem most businesses owners care about.

The problems they care about invovle collecting more money, keeping customers happy, and booking more jobs.

I’m positive that all of these automation ideas would sell.

Real problems & real results = real money.

If you’ve ever been interested in affiliate marketing and you’re over 25 years old, you’ve probably gone down the Clickbank rabbit hole.

Clickbank is a marketplace of affiliate offers.

In basic terms: it’s a marketplace of digital products that will pay you a % of revenue for each one you sell.

And these digital products were all in ‘questionable’ niches (like the ones listed in the tweet).

But now there’s an opportunity in the market to re-make these digital products into apps, and market through TikTok creators.

People are making $10’s of thousands a month with these apps.

I’ve talked about this one before, and I love it.

Also, this post is great insight.

He tried advertising, but his target demo wasn’t receptive to it. So it’s best to focus on word of mouth.

You could also run free local workshops for lead gen, and convert a % of the attendees into customers.

As a runner myself, I can attest to the fact that the clearest thinking always happens on a run or walk.

When an app makes a major change (like sunsetting their desktop app), there’s a big opportunity.

Be THE agency known for helping businesses with the migration.

This post mentions outreach to accountants as a first way to get customers. And then targeted ads to Quickbooks desktop users.

I would go one step further, and make video content on “how to migrate Quickbooks..”, and try to be the first to show up in search results.

This opportunity is ripe, but likely won’t be hot for long.

Did you know that there’s billions of dollars given away every year in grants?

For things like getting an education or starting a businesses.

And these aren’t loans that need to be repaid. This is free & clear money, given to you to do something with.

But finding the grants and then applying for them is a very long and tedious process.

Many require an essay or write up to qualify.

AI solves this.

This is a side hustle that can be started with zero risk.

TikTok theme pages with slide shows are getting a ton of view right now.

For example (from the page above), the first slide is a picture of a nice car with text saying “5 rules about money I wish I knew sooner”, followed by 5 pictures with likely ChatGPT generated text on them. And that got $39K views.

There’s an opportunity right now to build up these pages, and then sell products as an affiliate, or start your own product.

I’d recommend picking a niche and brand the service around it.

Set up an AI to text or call someone every day to check in on their goals.

It could be dieting, fitness, business, or really anything that takes discipline.

This is a new trend that makes for great viral content.

It looks like yogurt, but its just slime.

And kids love it!

I like this a lot since you can test it out with very little risk.

You can run it through popups at fairs, farmers markets, or events (like kids birthday party’s).

This is probably a trend that won’t last forever, so get on this while it’s hot!

I found this guy on reddit who’s getting paid $35K to set up a locally hosted LLM at a law firm.

Which makes sense… because law firms can’t upload their client data to ChatGPT or any of the other cloud based LLM’s.

This is a huge opportunity right now.

Just think about it…

Ton’s of businesses handle sensitive client data and will need their own locally hosted LLM’s.

Google released their new AI video model (Veo 3) this week, and the internet is losing it.

It’s incredible.

Seriously. If you haven’t checked out what it can do, this is a pretty good example.

And like PJ is saying here… video ads that used to cost $500K to make, can now be made with ~$500 in AI credits.

There’s never been a better opportunity to start an AI video agency.

Become an expert at generating AI videos → sell professional grade commercials at a fraction of the cost.

Someone should seriously start building this right now.

2. A Boutique Sales Agency

I love creative outreach methods like this.

They really work. But they take creativity and effort to do.

So… why don’t we turn it into a service?

There’s thousands of cold email outreach agencies. But i’ve never heard of a ‘creative outbound’ agency.

Instead of offering to blast out 1,000s of cold emails, offer to do creative outbound to a smaller number of prospects.

I guarantee you could get better results for your clients.

And charge $1,000’s a month to do it.

3. Build an App with Lovable & Windsurf

I have my friend Aditya on my channel this week.

He showed me how to build a personal finance app with lovable + windsurf in under an hour.

All without needing to know how to code.

This one’s an original. Local AI classes in your town.

And I’m soooo sure that this would work.

The older generation loves in-person, hands-on classes, and they’re starting to understand the importance of AI.

Any time I show an older person a cool demo of what AI can do, they’re in disbelief.

So here’s how i’d do this:

• Find a classroom you can use. A local library, community college, or community center would be great.

• Create a super simple landing page that covers what you’ll teach, and a checkout button for $200.

• Run local targeted Facebook ads to the landing page, until you get 50 customers.

• Run a 4-week cohort based class about using ChatGPT, Claude, Replit, etc.

At 50 students per month, you’ve got a $10K/m revenue businesses (minus the FB ads expense.)

Please do this and let me know when you start crushing.

2. AI Social Listening tool

Social listening tools are extremely important for marketing teams.

They track when a brand, company, or product is mentioned on social media.

For example, if you tweet something about Pepsi, the marketing team at Pepsi wants to know that, so they can track it and interact with it.

But most of the tools right now just track with keywords. As in, they just have scrapers watching for someone to type the word ‘Pepsi’ on social.

The problem is that it’s much harder to do this with video. Because you can’t track text when it’s in audio/video form.

Until now.

AI makes this possible, and it’s a pretty clear, multiple 7-figure opportunity.

Greg put together this beautiful summary of Y-Combinator’s Summer 2025 request for Startup’s.

This is basically YC’s way of saying “we want to invest in companies that are building these things”.

Doesn’t get much more clear than that.

The one I’m most excited about is 14.

Empowering non-AI jobs like plumbers, HVAC tech’s, tree trimmers, landscapers, etc.

These aren’t the ‘sexy’ places to build for, but they’re some of the most valuable.

2. Nuts on Ice shorts

Alright… hear me out.

I know this sounds crazy, but I agree this would actually work.

There’s a ton of hype around using Sauna’s for health reasons. But on the downside, the increased temp in testicles has shown to decrease sperm count.

And that’s something to get scared about.

So how can you counter act it? Ice your nuts when you’re in the sauna.

And you can sell the ‘fear’ around losing sperm count if you don’t use these.
