First, it is absolutely true that Black people do not possess the same systemic power that white people have in America. It is factual that Black people cannot be systematically racist to white people.

I would also agree that Black people cannot be racist to white people in general (not just systematically). I’ve always thought this because if a Black person were to say, “I don’t like you because you’re white and I don’t want to hangout with you,” I would simply think, “You know, fair enough.” American society has not shown that Black people can trust white folk (look at the case with Nolan Wells).

If a Black person discriminates against a white person based on racial prejudice… I’m not sure what to call that. Perhaps it is bigoted discrimination? This could be where words are minced and the English language simply lacks a proper definition. It is important to not conflate bigotry and racism though.

White people, who are not racialized by the system, keep institutional power for themselves, so for black people, as a group, to exercise this racial power it would mean flipping the system on it’s head.

Colloquially, ‘racism’ refers to any bigotry, chauvinism, or predjudice related to ethnicity or nationality. I personally think they hit the nail on the head here.

Now, here’s where I think some nuance is needed. The statement, “Black people cannot be racist” excludes how Black people, I believe, can be racist to other non-white races. Native Americans possess absolutely zero systemic power in this country. So, can Black people discriminate against Native Americans based on racial prejudice? I would think so. Is it ‘racist’ for them to do so? I don’t know. Neither race has the systemic power, and I’d say Native Americans are even less represented in the system. Is it racist for Black people to disallow entry to Pacific Islanders based on racial prejudice? Probably. Can Black people be racist to Asians? Not sure. Is it better to not use the word ‘racist’ and instead say something like ‘discriminatory bigotry’? If that’s the case, is the issue just in how the English language is used to define something? Because it seems like the underlying objective meaning remains unchanged.

Additionally, every white judge on the Supreme Court who voted to gut the Voting Rights Act is certainly racist. Is Clarence Thomas exonerated from his actions simply because he is Black? I don’t know. If he’s not a ‘racist’, what is he? I suppose this question introduces the idea of whether people can be ‘racist’ to their own race. This is also something I do not know.

I’d also like to draw a parallel to the Muslim and Christian dynamic in America. Islamophobia is running rampant right now, maybe even worse than post 9/11. Can a Muslim person be discriminatory or hateful towards a Christian? Of course. Muslims do not possess the representation or power in the system to actually oppress Christians though. Would it make sense for Muslims to be wary and cautious around Christian nationalists? Absolutely. Is there a similarity between Muslims and Black people in America? I’m not sure if this parallel is entirely relevant, so I welcome discussion to address this.

I feel like to make social progress in topics like this, we must acknowledge that much of society bases their understanding in widely accepted definitions. When the statement, “Black people cannot be racist” is said… it draws attention to the definition of racism that most people understand. This can create some confusion, as it did for me. If the goal is to align systemic racism with ‘racism’ as it’s widely understood, that is a priority that involves changing the general public’s fundamental knowledge of what ‘racism’ is. It prioritizes changing the definition that people see when they search, “racism definition.”

I believe this progress is stunted when well-intentioned white people are met with hostility and racist accusations when they simply lack the understanding of this priority to align systemic racism with ‘racism.’ Many uneducated white people DO conflate bigotry with racism (as did I). The goal should be to distinguish the two.

In a nutshell, it is true that Black people cannot be ‘racist’ to white people. Whether Black people cannot be ‘racist’ to non-white people… well, I don’t know. Would it be better to say,

“Every non-white race is incapable of being racist“

This would imply that the racial hierarchy that white people imposed disables anyone who is not at the ‘top’ of this hierarchy to participate in ‘racism.’ I feel like this rhetoric would be met with a more understanding and accepting response. It negates any possible double standards that may be drawn across non-white races. I can imagine some Asian friends of mine saying, “Well why can’t Black people be racist? I also cannot participate in the systemic power that white people hold. Does this mean I too cannot be racist?” I feel like my answer to that would be, “Yes, because you cannot equally partake in the system… that means you cannot be ‘racist.’ The goal is to disassemble white supremacy as a whole.”

Please correct me anywhere I am wrong. The feedback is appreciated as I grow my understanding of this matter.

• Artificial intelligence, although seems beneficial on the cover, may very well be the downfall of society. It disrupts people’s ability to distinguish between what is real and what is AI generated. It discredits any photo/video evidence because the possibility of it being AI generated is always there. Not only that, it takes away people’s ability to critically think. When people start relying on AI to answer simple questions, the brain loses its creative ability and attention span to discover information on its own. When kids in school start using AI to write their essays or do their math homework, they will never learn patience and practice motivational skills in order to be able to persist through difficult tasks. AI chatbots are also causing people to confront their emotions not with other people, but with an algorithm programmed to affirm you in any way, shape, or form. AI will increasingly deepen society’s individualism.

• An overall epidemic of apathy. For the first time in global history, we can see a genocide happening in real time on our phones and the perpetrators openly admitting to it. Within seconds we can take out our phone and see a child missing a leg because Israel bombed their displacement camp. Yet much of the world does not care, especially in the US.

• Climate change is an existential crisis. The consequences of inaction in the coming decades will be even more prevalent than what we see today. Extreme heat, drought, flooding, rising sea levels, crop loss, and severe storms are just a portion of the consequences.

• Microplastics and forever chemicals (such as PFAS) found in every cup of water and in everything we consume. They’ve been found in the human brain and in Antarctica. PFAS and microplastics, although the long term consequences are not yet fully known, are already attributed to cancer, liver damage, fertility loss, and more. 

• The lessening supply of freshwater. The source is not infinite and has experienced significant decline in recent decades. Dozens of major rivers now fail to reach the sea during parts of the year. Corpus Christi is the first American city to essentially run out of potable water. This is not an anomaly. 

• Insect loss at an immense global scale due to insecticide use and climate change. Without insects, especially bees, humans cannot survive. Over 40% of insect species are declining and a third are endangered.

• Ocean acidification is a catastrophic threat to aquatic ecosystems and is partly caused by an increase in CO2 emissions. Acidity has increased by roughly 30-40% since the industrial revolution.

While there are solutions out there for some of these issues, they will not be implemented soon enough. The impact of these consequences might be lessened, but they will not go away.

For decades, America has portrayed Israel as a strong ally. Listed below are reasons to think otherwise: 

Crimes Against Humanity:

• Israel is committing genocide in Palestine.

• Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli prime minister for 18 non-consecutive years, is a wanted war criminal by the ICC.

• Israel’s use of weapons that violate international law including white phosphorus and thermobaric bombs.

• Israel passed a death penalty law strictly for Palestinians. The first ethnicity-based death penalty law since Nazi Germany. They wore noose pins while doing so and one of the lawmakers' wives made him a cake with a noose on it for his birthday.

• Israel deliberately targets journalists. “The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has committed more targeted killings of journalists than any other government’s military since CPJ began documentation in 1992.” (Record 129 press members killed in 2025; Israel responsible for 2/3 of deaths - Committee to Protect Journalists)

• In 2003, Rachel Corrie, a 23-year old American citizen, was crushed to death by an Israeli bulldozer while protesting the illegal Israeli settlements in Palestine.

• Israel has killed 48 American citizens over the decades. 

• Israel murders innocent civilians on a daily basis, such as two young Palestinian brothers and their parents. The brothers were 5 and 7 years old, one who was blind and had special needs. The IDF also let an attack dog murder a young man with down syndrome.

• IDF soldiers are seen throwing bodies off of a roof in the occupied West Bank. (Video shows Israeli soldiers throwing bodies off roof in occupied West Bank | CNN)

• Israel brutally tortures and rapes Palestinian detainees. They even let dogs rape them.

Internal US Affairs:

• Israel bombed the USS Liberty in 1967 which killed 34 US crew members and injured 170.

• Israel has been the largest annual recipient of direct U.S. economic and military assistance since 1976 and the largest total recipient since World War II, totalling $310 billion. “In per capita terms, the United States gives each Israeli a direct subsidy worth about $500 per year. This largesse is especially striking when one realizes that Israel is now a wealthy industrial state with a per capita income roughly equal to South Korea or Spain.” (The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy. | Harvard Kennedy School) 

• AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) is not registered under FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act) yet spent $52 million on the 2024 election cycle. They lobby for politicians to support Israel unconditionally. AIPAC spends millions to knock out anyone who does not support Israel.

• Unanimous bipartisan support for Israel. For example, “99 percent of the House voted against an amendment to nix just $500 million in military funding for Israel from the towering $830 billion Pentagon budget bill.” (Only 6 Vote for House Legislation to Nix $500M in Military Funding to Israel | Truthout) Keep in mind, this vote was during June of 2025, during the ongoing genocide. The only 6 in congress to vote against this bill don’t receive money from AIPAC.

• Jeffrey Epstein was close to the former Prime Minister of Israel, Ehud Barak (Barak) and trained as a spy under him. Ehud Barak would often stay at one of Epstein’s residencies in NYC. It is very likely that Epstein worked for Mossad to gather blackmail on US politicians. 

• American citizens go to serve in the IDF. A citizen of one country serving in a foreign military is treasonous. 

• Israel has nuclear weapons and refuses to sign the NPT (Non Proliferation Treaty), let alone acknowledge they have nukes. Israel also likely stole uranium from the US to build nuclear weapons in the mid 1960s. JFK insisted on having inspections done on Israel’s nuclear facilities and was not keen on them possessing nukes in the first place. JFK additionally wanted AIPAC (American Zionist Council at the time) to register as a foreign agent. Neither the inspections nor the foreign agent registration occurred and no president has ever tested Israel since JFK was assassinated. 

• The largest donor to the Israel Defense Force and Zionist billionaire, Larry Ellison, owns TikTok and CBS News and is poised to own CNN as well. This media empire is by design; to protect Israel’s interests and further push their propaganda.
