When we moved in, we installed COREtec LVP in Cairo Oak throughout the first floor. At the time it felt like a solid choice! LVP is waterproof, durable, looks great. We were happy with it.

Then we made our first mistake: carpet upstairs.

I don’t know what I was thinking. I think I wanted it to feel cozy and soft, which carpet is supposed to do. But within a year it looked dingy, there were visible pathway indentations in the high-traffic areas from people walking the same routes every day, and despite being carpet — which should make a room feel warm — it actually felt cold.
