When I first read the Psalms and came across David saying,

“Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You” (Psalm 63:3)

I paused to think deeply about the beauty of life, the glory of this world, and all that comes with it.

I thought about how a man like David, who had experienced the beauty and glory of life, could make such a statement. He had been anointed to become a king. He had experienced victories, honour, wealth, relationships, and the many things that made life beautiful. Yet, in the midst of all these things, he could still say that the lovingkindness of God was better than life itself.

What struck me even more was the context in which David made this declaration. He was in the wilderness of Judah, running from Saul. His life was constantly at risk. Saul wanted him dead, and David was living in the tension of knowing that his life could be taken from him at any moment. Yet, in the heat of that uncertainty, David said, “Your lovingkindness is better than life.”

What level of understanding of God's love does a person have to attain to be able to say this? What does a person have to know about God for His love to become more valuable than life itself?

Truthfully, when we look at our lives today, our reality often seems very different.

We value our lives. We value our plans, our choices, our comfort, our relationships, our dreams, and the things we believe obedience to God will cost us. We are afraid of what following Him might require, and because of that fear, we sadly choose our own understanding over His instructions.

We have to be honest with ourselves.

We say, “God's love is better than life.” We read David's words and think, Yes, I can say that too. We admire his conviction and in fact, imagine we have attained the same depth of love and understanding.

But our lives do not say the same thing because, we live in fear. We are constantly trying to preserve ourselves. We make decisions based on what will protect our comfort, our future, our relationships, our reputation, and our plans. And when we fail to obey God, we sometimes try to compensate with sacrifices.

We say things like: “God, I could not obey You in this, but let me give You this instead.”

The substitution of sacrifice for obedience.

God does not need our sacrifices in place of our obedience. He wants our obedience. And perhaps, the fact that obedience is so difficult for us reveals something about how little we have understood His love.

Heaven places a premium on our actions, usually from obedience.

When we tell God that we love Him, He looks beyond our words and into our actions. He sees the decisions we make in private. He sees what we choose when obedience is inconvenient. He sees what we surrender when we are afraid of what obedience might cost us.

The question is, “Does my life prove that I believe God's love is better than life?”

Apostle Paul could say,

“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

He could face persecution, suffering, and even death without allowing any of these things to separate him from the love of Christ. He understood something about God's love that made the preservation of his own life secondary to the will of God.

It is easy to read David and Paul and admire them. It is easy to say, “I want that kind of love.” But when obedience begins to cost us something, what do we choose? This is where our understanding of His love is tested.

I find myself praying:

Lord, teach me until I no longer merely know that Your love is better than life as a statement, but until my life actually reflects it. Teach me until I stop replacing obedience with sacrifice. Teach me until I stop choosing my own understanding because I am afraid of what Your will might cost me.Teach me until I can genuinely say that Your love is more valuable to me than my life.

The Bible tells us that we know only in part. And as we continue to seek Him, obey Him, and look into His face, we will understand His love more deeply. The more we encounter Him, the less distracted we become by the things of this world and the more willing we become to receive all that He wants to do in us.

So I return to David's words, and this time I do not want to read them merely as a beautiful statement. I want them to become the truth of my life:

Your lovingkindness is better than life.

Growth is a really important part of our walk and relationship with the Lord. As we grow, we are entrusted with greater responsibilities by our Master, responsibilities we must faithfully fulfill.

I remember the Apostle Peter. Peter was one of the boldest of the Twelve. He was known for his natural leadership ability and his willingness to ask direct questions or make statements that other disciples would have been too concerned to make.

He was also among the seventy whom the Bible says went out to do the work of the Lord and returned rejoicing because even the demons were subject to them.

Then Jesus was about to die, and somehow Peter lost the boldness to stand before a servant girl and the persecutors of his Lord. This wasn't because he was no longer Peter, but because he had not yet received the necessary equipping for that level of standing for God.

Matthew 26:69–70

"Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came to him, saying, 'You also were with Jesus of Galilee.’

But he denied it before them all, saying, 'I do not know what you are talking about.”

If we must walk the higher walk and answer the higher call of God's mandate for our lives, then we too must be willing to sit in His presence and ask for a fresh outpouring.

God is just as willing to refresh your head with fresh oil as He is willing to save your soul from hell.

You cannot use the old anointing for a new level! You must wait on Him and receive the benefits of waiting: the transformation that comes through waiting, and then the fresh baptism that comes from waiting on Him.

Luke 24:49

"And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay… until you are clothed with power from on high."

I'm glad Peter's story didn't end there. Peter and the disciples—actually about 120 followers of Jesus, waited together in the upper room, praying and waiting for the promised baptism of the Holy Spirit.

And we know that when the power descended, the change was undeniable. Peter, who couldn't look a servant girl in the eye to declare his allegiance to Jesus, stood and proclaimed not only his submission to Christ, but also repentance and the good news of His Kingdom. And over 3,000 people were saved!

3,000! Have you ever stopped to imagine that?

This was only the beginning of the many things God accomplished through him. As Peter continued growing and walking the higher walk, God kept revealing Himself to him and using him in marvelous ways.

Peter couldn't have done that by simply liking Instagram reels of messages that deeply touched him, or by imagining himself serving God in that capacity, or by merely wishing it into existence. He desired it intensely, and acted towards it, then the outpouring came.

Believer, you must deeply desire this fresh outpouring if you truly want to faithfully steward all that God has revealed He will do through you. It is beyond calling yourself a global ambassador of God's Kingdom. It will require dying to self and seeking Him wholeheartedly until you are endued with power from on high.

A number of times in Scripture, it is observed that Jesus withdrew Himself from the multitude, usually after ministering to the needs of the people. He would teach them, preach the Kingdom of God to them, and heal them. After this, He would withdraw from them, sometimes with His disciples, and at other times, by Himself.

Luke 5:15–16

“Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.’’

Everything written in Scripture is for our transformation into the kind of people God desires us to be on the earth.

Some accounts serve as warnings, that if we follow similar paths, we may end up just like those people. Others are written for our encouragement, that we may learn from lives worthy of imitation.

Jesus’ withdrawal is one of the lessons God is pointing us to today.

Constantly, we are interacting with all sorts of people, ideologies, and beliefs. We are also in such a digitally driven era where you can have access to countless people’s viewpoints in a single day. Views that oppose your convictions, challenge your morality, conversations that renew your mind, conversations that motivate you; the list goes on.

But sadly, we cannot be sustained by these.

These constant, unguarded interactions begin to blind us to our soul’s focus, little by little. Then you begin to notice your lack of brokenness over the things that would once have broken you before the presence of the Lord: things that would have drawn you back to consecrating your heart to Him.

You begin to lose your fervency, your zeal, even your convictions concerning the clear commandments the Lord has given you.

This is why your withdrawal is important, dear believer. You are withdrawing to protect your soul. You may wonder why our Lord Jesus, though God, yet clothed in mortality, would so often take time to withdraw Himself.

If you do not intentionally set yourself apart, you too will miss out on the renewal of your mind and the fresh fire God desires to give you, especially if He has revealed a ministry to which He has called you.

It is necessary that we make time for our souls. It may look like your consistent daily devotion and worship to God that continually renews your mind and keeps your heart tender before Him. It may also be helped by periodic seasons of retreat, where you gain greater clarity concerning what God would have you do with your life.

A number of us are confused today because we have not taken the time to seek God’s face concerning certain areas of our lives, or simply to refocus our hearts on heaven. We are encumbered by so many unnecessary things that it feels as though we do not have the time.

Luke 10:41–42.

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

But we must remember that we cannot be sustained by these things, or even by the religious activities we engage in. Eventually, you will become exhausted and be left with an inextinguishable emptiness within you. You will try to fill it. You will keep yourself busy. You will search for distractions. Yet it will not go away until you find your way back to your true Source.

“The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.” (Genesis 2:25)

The Bible tells us this, but when they altered their purity before God, they became ashamed.

I often think about what happened in Eden before the fall and how it is spiritually represented in our relationship with God today.

There was a lack of self-consciousness in Adam and Eve that allowed them to work together, walk together, love one another, and enjoy daily fellowship with God without seeing their shame despite their nakedness. Their nakedness represented their vulnerability, their exposed selves. Yet that lack of self-consciousness was completely covered by the glory of God. The glory of God became their covering while they were still naked.

The entrance of sin into their fellowship brought shame. Suddenly, they were ashamed not only of themselves but even to appear before God and fellowship with Him.

From the time they were sent out of the garden until Christ died, the veil remained in the temple. There was no direct access. The kingdom of God and relationship with Him were experienced largely through outward ordinances. Grace had not yet been fully revealed. The blood of animals and purification sacrifices continually covered sin, but they could not deeply cleanse the heart.

Then Christ died, and the veil was torn in two. We now have access to the presence of God, and we live under grace. Everything God designed for fellowship with Him in Eden was restored in a greater and better way.

Now we can appear before His throne naked and unashamed.

Naked, because we can come to Him in our deepest shame and greatest vulnerability without fear. We can tell Him exactly how we feel with a broken and contrite heart, and He meets us with abundant grace and clothes us anew. We can bring before Him the things we struggle with: our addictions, fears, failures, and difficult decisions, without feeling as though we stand before One who seeks to destroy us because of our vulnerability.

This makes me deeply grateful and reflective.

The One who established this plan from the very beginning of human existence knew exactly what we would need. How could we ever be deeply and thoroughly cleansed if we remained hidden beneath layers of shame?

When we sin, we lose the sense of covering that His glory andHis presence provides. Sin exposes us. It disrupts our fellowship with Him and causes us to run from Him. Like Adam, we can find ourselves hiding.

Yet He still says:

“Come now, let us reason together.”

I now understand more deeply what it meant for the man and his wife to be naked and unashamed in the garden. And I am grateful for the One whose glory covers my shame and clothes me with a new garment of strength.

Have you ever seen an apocalypse movie? Do you remember the chaos? Have you ever deeply wondered the silence that feels the earth in such movies? But at the end of those movies, you look across the road and see kids racing barefoot down a street, a noisy neighbourhood, and you feel safe again.

But those movies are pointing to something, a coming end to our world, our earth.

There’s an apocalypse coming.

It is not going to come with a warning. It will come upon the world suddenly. It will strip the world of what’s left of it’s barely existing order. It will come with illnesses we’ve never recorded in the world before.

I am not revealing a movie script to you. I’m telling you of the wrath of God, the very reason Christ’s love made Him come to die. This is real life.

Some of the world destructions that will happen in those days will be as never recorded before. The Sun’s light will be as the light of seven days combined in one. Clinically, this means a high wave in skin cancers, Geologically, a high depletion of the ozone layer. But it’s God really destroying the earth for the sin in it.

Isaiah 30:26

“Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun,
and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days,
in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people,
and healeth the stroke of their wound.”

The Stars falling into the earth’s oceans, in Revelation 6:13 it is described as how “...a fig tree casteth her untimely figs...” This implies massive asteroids impact on the ocean, a very high mass-extinction damage on humans, animals, death of marine life; These events are not small, they are actually planet level destructions!

While these events will be gradually unfolding after the rapture, food production will be the least priority. During the Covid pandemic, food production was on a decline. But this would be much worse. Scripture tells us in the book of Revelation 6:6,

“…And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”

There will be people looking like zombies, not actual zombies, but humans who have been terribly malnourished like the times of the world wars, but this would be much worse! The crises would be so much that they would seek for death, for death would be comfort in those times. There would be barely a place of refuge, unlike those apocalypse movies, for who can stand The Lord’s wrath!

Revelation 6:15-16

“And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:”

The level of wickedness would be such as the world has never recorded before. Scripture calls it a “...wickedness that has not been imagined in the heart of any man.” If those days had not been cut short, there will be no one to survive it, ever.

Mathew 24:21-22

“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”

The good news is, it has been revealed to us years before it actually happens, so we can make our ways right with God and repent.

The sad news is, it will truly happen, and some will be aware of all these, but will not still regard it as a real event. They would read it, sigh and laugh it off, or, they’ll feel sober for a moment, then begin scrolling TikTok again. Then that day takes them by a surprise.

I pray you who’s reading this choses to be like the wise virgins, that you prepare your lamp ahead of the Lord’s day of vengeance, that you stay in God so you’re raptured against the evil days.

The prodigal son’s story moves me greatly.

I have always believed the story is not just a regular story of salvation. I believe it reflects, in no small way, how God views lost sons who are uncertain of His forgiveness.

A lost son.

This is the crux of our conversation today.

The Word of God tells us:

“As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
— Romans 8:14

So, we become sons because we are led by the Spirit of God, and we are obedient to that leading. Since we are obedient to this divine guidance, we know that we are the sons of God.

How, then, can a son be lost?

A lost son has lost the ability to respond obediently to the leading of the Spirit of God.

The prodigal son lost that ability to respond to his father’s leading at a certain point in his life—the point where he felt he had had enough of the guidance and could go on from there. He asked:

“Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me.”
— Luke 15:12

That’s usually how our mistakes begin:

A little skipped personal time with the Lord,
a slightly entertained lustful thought,
a little disobedience to the Holy Spirit’s instruction,
a little negligence in our consecrations,
a decision we make despite God’s instruction,

and we begin to walk on hot coals.
We begin to tread paths where the warning says, “tread carefully.”

But the Spirit of God does not strive with man.

So, the father let him go.

There is a temporary liberty that comes from losing the grip of discipline. Until that season expires, it never truly dawns on you what you’ve lost. Until you return to your struggles with sin, the carelessness of your life, your daily depressing depravity, you never fully grasp how far removed you are from the way of the Lord.

This is the point at which a person becomes a lost son.

What are you doing in a land that is not your home?
Why are you eating the food meant for swine?

Like the prodigal, you should cry out:

“I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee.”
— Luke 15:18

This is the point many lost sons sadly never reach. Often, they do not arrive here. There are many lies the accuser tells them (as we discussed in last month’s newsletter), and these lies linger until they become wastelands, swine-food eaters and aimless wanderers.

The Father does not want that to be you. So He reaches out to remind you of how the father welcomed the prodigal:

“For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.”
— Luke 15:24

The significance of the words “dead” and “alive” is to show us that this goes beyond a mere parable. It signifies death to the life of God, and now, for the prodigal, life again.

Lost son, return.

There are so many second chances in the Father. He will raise you up again.

“For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again.”
— Job 14:7

And when He sees you returning even from a distance, He will have compassion on you, run toward you, fall on your neck, and kiss you.

Some weeks back, a young girl suggested a writing, that she would love to hear from, on the battle of the mind. This is the writing series that you now read. I thought about this so well and how much of a battle I fought by the power of God till things just got better! This series will be on till we have exhausted from this well we’re drawing from in the Spirit.

Dear believer, there is a power the accuser wields, and it’s a power that you cannot overcome by mere mortality.

Do you wonder why Judas hurriedly took his life?

He had been with the Master, he had seen several instances Jesus chose mercy over judgement, even in situations that were deserving of judgement.

The accuser is mentioned in Revelation 12:10, where the bible says he accuses the believers day and night.

Can you imagine that? Day and night! He doesn’t find himself worthy, and he constantly presents before God the Father, reasons why anyone else isn’t worthy.

He has an ugly pattern, makes believers feel less of themselves, lose their identity of sonship, and makes them lose the hope of their belief. And the Bible tells us that it is this hope that keeps us alive in the Spirit. The word calls it a “lively hope”.

Once hope is attacked, you have nothing to look forward to. You question where your faith all leads to. Truth is, when your identity in God is punctured, you cannot amount to anything in God. You will question everything.

And that’s the state so many believers are in right now. A careless statement, a misappropriate conduct, a besetting sin (sin that you often find yourself in), and they lose hope in salvation. They question if there is truly a saving power in the cross, or if God is not already tired of them.

They forget that God not limited to second chances. He is the God of another chance, and another chance, and another chance!

You forget that God cannot call you to a life of His own, if He hasn’t given you the power to live the life of godliness.

My first liberation came when I stopped abruptly by the help of the power of God, in the path of thick darkness to actually understand the depth Christ had gone to bring me to Himself. I began to allow solely the Spirit of God give me instructions for how I’m supposed to live, and what I’m supposed to think. I realized that the power of Christ’s death and resurrection has given me the capacity to live a holy life. It is that power that raises the righteous man who falls seven times!

The story of the prodigal son was about the restoration of a son. It was not the story of a sinner just coming into the fold; there’s lots of illustrations in the bible for that. This precious parable was about lost sons, who get stuck in finding their way back to the father, and have overcome the voice of fear of the accuser, and come back to Him.

Once He sees your sincerity, once He sees that your heart is not giving up, He’ll encourage you, living up to His name of Love as stated in 1 Corinthians 13: 7-8, that love doesn’t easily give up, He endures all things, bears all things with you, and His love never fails!

Do not be deceived. Think not on what the accuser says your inabilities are. Philippians 4:8 says think on what is true. What is true? What God has said about you. Who He says you are, what He says you’ll accomplish in Him.

Choose to be led by the Spirit of God. This is what confirms your sonship in the first place. This is what makes for a change. Romans 8:13-14

If you’ve not found Him, you are not part of Him in the first place.

“Now, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.”

Romans 8:9b.

Do not give up on yourself, He’ll not welcome you as a servant, but as a son.

“And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, He is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.”

Joshua 2:11 (KJV)

We study Rahab today. There are so many questions that run my mind when I think about her.

• Why did the LORD want us to know she was a harlot?

• Why was the very story left out, like the other events that happened that weren’t documented in the scriptures?

• Why was she mentioned in Hebrews? but this time, not just as a harlot, but as an icon of faith?

The scripture tells us all scriptures is given by the inspiration of God.

Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved!

This verse is not limited to those that have their reputations intact, who have not soiled their hands in anything against moral principles. This verse is open to all. Everyone who calls on God’s name in genuineness of heart shall be saved.

That’s the word for today.

When it is God that does the saving, He usually transforms you alongside saving you. The harlot Rahab didn’t end up as a harlot; she never remained the same. She became an icon of faith.

Theres no such thing as a person too complicated for Christ’s work at calvary. There’s no such thing as a dip too low for God’s terrific saving hands to reach. Even in your most confusing moments in life, you just have to have the faith of Rahab.

She only had HEARD of God’s saving power.

How about you?

You have experienced Him come through for you. You have known His miracles, you have felt His hands on you, you have been rescued from the most horrific situations, so you’ve not only heard, but you’ve known Him.

Do not forget that some Israelites saw God part the red sea but still died in the wilderness. Rahab didn’t get to see all that, but her confession of faith saved her, and her family.

Confess your sins, confess your weaknesses, confess it with such faith that you know if HE doesn’t, no one else can! And let there be no atom of disbelief!

He will reveal Himself to you. He will save you. And like Rahab, you by your faith will be able to save others.

The end of the year is usually associated with reflection—what have I truly achieved? What were my failures? How far forward have I moved? How did I handle my finances? How did I handle my relationships?

And that’s okay.

It’s actually the ideal thing to find yourself doing at the end of the year: to reflect and to make plans for the coming year. The truth is, whether we like it or not, every end of the year marks the end of a significant period of our lives and gives room for the start of another.

So what if you’ve not achieved much this year? What if it was spent whiling away? What if you missed out on opportunities because of a lack of motivation, or even complacency?

Well, that’s why we have new beginnings like the coming year, and significant closures like the last weeks of December. There’s an opportunity, a chance, to start again. But dear one, you must remember that closures like this also indicate that time is ticking. You will not always have an opportunity to start again.

What if you had a year filled with several dead ends? What if, in the midst of the end-of-year euphoria, you have no wins?

This was me many years ago, but last year, particularly. It was the year I saw a tweet that resonated so deeply with me. That was the year I was sincerely tired of it all, but I did not plan to stop trying. I really believed my grey skies would turn blue again. That is the resolve I’ll leave you with: grey skies will turn blue again. Usually, with God, you can never fathom how this happens.

What if you had a good run this year?

That’s great! Fantastic, even! When a year is good, you gain momentum, your self-image is reshaped, and you gain much more clarity. Your gratitude is awakened as well. You’re truly at peace, with so many songs of praise in your mouth.

What about your walk with the Lord this year?

Spiritual growth is more relevant than physical growth. The goal is to be a prepared bride, adorned for her Groom. Take time to reflect this year. How faithful were you to the consecrations of your Lord? Did you love Him as you should? How consistent were you at your altar? When He comes to the altar, does He find it burning or cold?

If you don’t get it right in time and intentionally, the rapture could come while you are still trying to figure it out.

A good year, a bad year, a grieving year, a slow year, a gloomy year—don’t lose your song. Don’t lose the songs of gratitude in your mouth. Don’t lose your first love.

I say this because the Lord wants me to, and because I have crossed into new years in both conditions: losing my song, and having my mouth full of unending praise. I know for sure which year I crossed into better days.

Rebellious: /ri-BEL-yus/

Marked by rebellion—characterized by actions or attitudes that oppose what is expected, normal, or commanded.

When you encounter someone who is rebellious, the most striking thing you observe is their unyielding refusal to submit to the government of a person, or authority set over them. They resist what is considered the norm; they stand in constant opposition to anything they do not perceive as right.

In Revelation 12:11, it says of the redeemed:

“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Those who will be named overcomers at the end of the age will be those who rebelled against the government of the wicked one and the standards he has erected to shape this world.

The world is not structured in a way that encourages holiness. It is intentionally designed by the prince of this world to make believers question their stance at certain crossroads in life.

Sadly, some of these worldly standards have seeped into the lives of believers. There are now some believers who cuss, speak profanely, tolerate sexual immorality, lie without flinching, co-habit, engage in homosexual acts, attend orgy parties, and adopt fashions and practices that contradict holiness.

Yet there remains a select remnant who strive daily to defy what the world calls normal and cling fiercely to the way of Christ.

Please make up your mind to be counted among them.

Jesus tells the churches in Revelation 2–4 that only those who overcome will be with Him in glory.

Do not forget that this faith we hold so dearly was built upon the blood of the martyrs who defied the authorities of this world and stood for Christ. Do not forget that!

Do not forget that men and women who walked this earth long before us did not enjoy the freedoms we now have, yet they suffered terribly because they chose to defy the odds.

Do not forget that there will be no excuse for us who live in a more liberal world with far lighter consequences for standing for the truth.

Stand, dearest believer.

Resist the devil. Pray. Build yourself a strong network or community of those who are not afraid to stand for yourself.

Resist the “normal” that is anti-Christ, even if it means standing alone.

Rebels are distinct. They are not hidden. They do not share the voice of the crowd. They fight a different fight, they sing a different song.

Have you ever had a rapture dream?

I think so far my time on earth, I've had about three of those. Such dreams are acts of God's mercy. God's rich, bountiful mercy. God reminding you to prepare, because it's about the end of the age.

Sometimes, we neglect those dreams. Maybe we become established in the fear of God for two days, and then, we fall back to our sins. The cares of this life distract us again.

Sometimes, it's not just a rapture dream, it's during your word study time, when the Holy Spirit guides you, that day He's reminding you of the great event, or the preacher at church, led by God's Spirit reminds God's church to keep their lamp burning, or the christian podcast you listen to, gives a sober reflection of what it'll be like on that day.

You see, the Lord is always in the business of reminding His church, His bride that He is coming.

So, you get scared. You're saved, you've accepted the love of Christ, you appreciate His sacrifices on the cross thar has translated you from darkness to light.

But that one besetting sin.

That anger. That lust. That envy. That immoralous lifestyle. Those friends. That relationship. That gossip. All the manner of lies you tell.

They keep you, in your quiet moments of meditation, wondering if you will really make it. If maybe, you're wasting your time doing all that you do in the kingdom.

The word of God tells in 1John 4:17-18,

17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

17 says, (please read carefully), that God's love has been perfected in us, so that we are able to stand boldly before our Father in the day of judgement!!

18 says that, that perfect love casts out fear. this is because fear comes with a whole baggage of torment. It torments you in every single way. It says further, that whosoever is afraid, or lives in fear has not gotten the perfect love.

Whoosh!

The question to you is, do you have a perfect love for God? Are you living in that perfect love?

Think of this as a woman married to her man. She's not afraid to see him. She has perfect love for him, as he has greatly for her. She does what is right by him. She pleases him well.

Does your love for God move you to please Him well? Do you have this perfect love for Him, as he greatly and by far has for you?

Then you will not be afraid to see him. You will not be afraid of the judgement of the rapture. You will be so bold, so ready.

Redirect your love. Why can't you love The Lord with all your heart, and strength? Why are you haltering between two opinions? This is why you're afraid.

The weight of those sins are not bigger than God's love for you, so it's not about how heavy the sins are. It's about you. Are you ready to let go of the sin, and hold on to His love?

Walk into God's perfect love. You will live above sin, and you will say like the Apostle John,

Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

The entire foundation of Christianity is love.

God loved us, and out of that love, He sent His Son to die for us. Jesus’s death gave us access into His presence; His resurrection justified us, meaning, we can now be put right with God.

Then, as He left the earth, He did not leave us alone. He sent His Spirit to stay with us, to teach us all things, to hold our hands, and to walk us through life in preparation for the day we will be with Him again.

It’s like a movie where a prince goes all out to fight every battle, sustains injuries, almost loses his life, and finally brings his lost maiden back to himself — to be his bride.

We simply cannot fathom it. We are not deserving of it.

The Call to Love

In the book of 1 John, we see how the Holy Spirit revealed to the apostle the depth of God’s love. We understand why Jesus kept instructing His disciples to love one another, to love their enemies, their neighbours , to simply love.

Yet, many of us are negligent. We know that God loves us, but we don’t truly understand it, or the gravity of it. That’s why we can lie, hate, or refuse to forgive our neighbours. We want God's forgiveness, but somehow we take lightly God's instruction of loving others.

The Bible says in 1 John 4:8,

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love”.

We often forget what 1 Corinthians 13 teaches — that you can have every spiritual gift, but if you do not have love, you are nothing. You stand in the same place as those who do not even know the Lord.

Because without love, the Bible says, you have not yet moved from darkness to light.

A Question for You

Do you know God’s love for you? Do you even know why He was crucified for you?

It is a question of your actions, these past weeks. Have you truly, in your actions revealed that you know and understand God's love for you?

It’s only from that knowing that you can truly love yourself and your neighbour. The love we have for others is the core of God's Big plan for humanity. So, in not loving, you can misplace God's plan for your neighbour through you.

It’s from the knowledge of God's love for you that you can forgive, let go, and live a balanced Christian life.

Ask yourself:

Are you loving because there’s something to gain?

Because they’re good to you too?

If they turn against you today, will you still love them?

The love God expects of us is one that keeps no record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:5).

Is that the kind of love you have?

Do you pray for those who offend you?

Do you take their excesses to Christ?

Love Like Christ

Dear believer, love like Christ would.

Be patient with that busybody at fellowship who will not stop talking. Be patient with your parent who's favourite spot to get on is your nerves, be patient with that hard hearted cousin that is bent on hating The Lord.

Do not stop praying for them, love them truly.

“If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us.”

1 John 4:12

That headline is the lie the devil makes believers struggling with any sort of addiction believe. That's why there are 'believers' struggling with all sorts of addictions, still prophesying, and preaching, and believing in the hope of heaven, because their belief is simple: it doesn’t defile them. Do not be in error, believer.

Addictions could be behavioral or substance-based, and dear believer, either kind can separate us from God.

But we’re not focused today on addictions that affect our health - even though you should take addictions that are a severe threat to your health seriously. Because when you begin to age and your bones get weaker, your immune system becomes weaker too, and you become prone to health struggles.

Our human nature is plagued with a weakness; a weakness that makes us unable to say no to pleasures that defile us before God.

Before we got saved, this may be understood; we were under the government of the kingdom of darkness.

Now that I have been translated, why am I still dealing with addictions?

It’s because you feed your flesh, so you do not walk in the Spirit but in carnality. And so, you cannot say no to the desires of the flesh.

In dealing with addictions, we see the battle of the flesh and the Spirit. The Bible says they constantly war against each other. Galatians 5:17

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Why did the Apostle Paul say he "fought a good fight of faith"?

Why were we told in the book of Jude to "fight strenuously for the defense of our faith"?

It’s because the Christian walk, dear believer, is consistently a battle against the flesh. Mark the word 'consistently'. You must keep fighting. And in the book of Revelation, the Bible makes us know that it’s those who overcome that will reign with Christ.

Revelation 2:11 – “He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.”

Revelation 2:17 – “To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna…”

Revelation 2:26 – “And he that overcometh… to him will I give power over the nations.”

Revelation 3:5, 3:12, 3:21 – promises of white garments, a new name, a place with Christ on His throne.

Revelation 21:7 – “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”

You’re still fighting addictions because you have made that addiction an idol.

You have decided to worship yourself and the pleasures you derive above God. That’s why deliverance from addictions first comes from intentionality - from you! Some believers delay their deliverance because they’re not ready to let go of the idols of their heart. They’re afraid to fight.

You must first be intentional.

Then you must realize your position in Christ, that He became sin for you to deliver you from the captivity of sin.

When you sincerely, intentionally, take your addictions to God in prayer, the Spirit of the Lord will give you a unique dealing (or, a solution specfic to you) in the place of prayer, and in the place of your confession to other believers.

Because, you see, everyone doesn’t have the same degree of addiction, and the degree of your restoration will be based on how far you have gone into your addiction.

Your addiction makes you unholy. You stand defiled before God. If you do not deal with it intentionally and on time, it means you’re deciding not to watch for the coming of the Bridegroom.

Do not let the accusations of the devil weigh you down that you get locked away in the chains of addiction. Put your hands in His hands.

Since the Genesis of time, God's perfect command has been that we live in love, unity, and wholehearted devotion to Him. He never takes lightly the love we are to have for one another.

In fact, we see Jesus in John 17:21 praying for His disciples:

"That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me."

This unity isn’t just a suggestion, it is a reflection of who GOD is, the very nature of the perfect oneness of the Blessed Holy Trinity.

Today, we reflect on Matthew 5:24, where Jesus shows us God's heart regarding worship offered with bitterness or unresolved offense:

"Leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."

Even long before Jesus walked the earth, King David, called a man after God's own heart, understood this. In Psalm 51:17, he says:

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, these, O God, You will not despise."

The Lord tells us clearly to leave our gifts at the altar. These gifts are beyond our tithes, offerings, or the physical things we bring to our local church or fellowship.

They also represent our spiritual gifts!!

As written in 1 Corinthians 13:1–2:

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge... but have not love, I am nothing."

Do not be that Christian who speaks in tongues but harbors grudges against a brother, a neighbor, a parent, or a friend.

Do not be the one who sees visions and casts out demons but has vowed never to forgive someone who gave you church hurt.

Do not be the one who has an excellent spirit and excels, shines, in all areas of life, yet carries a heart of stone towards those who once caused pain.

Do not be that one, who dreams, and sees visions, but you just cannot forgive your father, or mother, or brother, or a former relationship partner.

The Lord says these gifts, as good as they are, are not more important than your heart.

He says,

“First, go and make things right, then come and offer your gifts.”

Isn’t that amazing? That the God of all creation is not blinded by our talents, our beautiful voices, our perfect sermons, or even the finances He gave us. What He’s truly after is our heart. Because only a right heart will see Him at the end of the age.

dearest believer, are you struggling to forgive or make things right?

Remember the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18:21–35

he who does not forgive will not be forgiven.

How come that you do not trust that the One who says you should forgive can heal the wounds they've caused you? Isaiah 61:1,

The Spirit of the LORD is upon me,…, for He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released…

In the obedience, there is healing. But you must first, obey.

So be like the disciples in Luke 17:5, who said to Jesus,

"Lord, increase our faith."

He will help you, because He is most interested in your heart.

I was at a Bible study on a Tuesday, and it was such a beautiful Word-time we shared. The room was simple, but the Spirit was rich. As we opened the Word and leaned into the voice of the Lord, we spoke on this one matter—worship.

It wasn’t just about music or lifting hands. It was about purity. Devotion. And most importantly, self-examination. As the Bible says,

“Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.”

(2 Corinthians 13:5)

So today, I’m re-sharing that stirring word. Because this is a call for all of us—not just to listen, but to look inward. Today’s topic is worship—a matter of the heart.

Worship is more than songs or moments. It’s what we devote ourselves to. And on this side of eternity, the “what” is always shaped by a “who.”

If we devote ourselves to loving money, fame, comfort, or even ourselves, we’re not just making lifestyle choices—we’re making spiritual alignments. There is always a spirit behind devotion.

This world is governed by two kingdoms—the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of the prince of this world, the ruler of darkness.

Dear believer, if you’re not being led by the Spirit of God, it doesn’t mean you’re neutral—it means you're being led by something else.

Not by your intellect.

Not by your culture.

Not by your ancestors.

But by the ruler of this world.

Your ignorance of this doesn’t protect you—it just means you're not winning in devotion.

The Bible says our God is a jealous God! He doesn't want to share your worship with fashion, football, movies, or money. He doesn’t want a portion of your heart—He wants all of it.

He says:

“How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”

(1 Kings 18:21)

And in Revelation,

“Because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”

(Revelation 3:16)

Who are the lukewarm? Those who halt between two opinions. Those who want God and something else. Those who sing but don’t surrender.

This matter of worship shapes our consecration. As we grow in Christ, He begins to loosen the weights that cloud our view of heaven. Worship is how we say, “Yes, Lord,” and keep saying it—even when it costs us.

A heart that truly worships the Lord is the only place from which a song of worship can rise and be accepted by Him.

“Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him.”

(Psalm 33:1)

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

(Psalm 34:18)

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.”

(Psalm 51:17)

Even Jesus—our perfect example—learned obedience in the days of His flesh. And if He could be trained in obedience, so can we. He invites us to come and learn of Him.

So, if you’ve been struggling to worship, the Lord is calling you to return.

Not just in song, but in heart.

Not just in words, but in life.

Let your worship begin with surrender.

We’re in June?!

I still remember leading Sinach’s "Overflow" at the crossover night this year. To be honest, a lot has happened since then—in the country, in the world, in life. So maybe it does make sense that we’re in June.

But whether it makes sense to you or not, here we are.

This month marks the end of the first half of the year and opens the door to the last half. You know how they say, "Time waits for no one"? If you keep procrastinating—because time feels slow—you might not realize how much is slipping by. And when time goes, so do the dreams and plans you had for the year.

We still have some days and six more months. That might not be twelve months, but it’s still something.

Now, this isn’t some self-help or motivational read. I’m writing as your sister in Christ—I’ve got you.

This is Check-Up June.

It’s time to pause and reflect.

It’s time to examine yourself.

“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?"

2 Corinthians 13:5

Ask yourself:

• How consistent have I been with my quiet time?

• How have I handled my besetting sins—anger, resentment, lies, pride, pornography… the list goes on?

• Am I living in purity?

• Have I been faithful to the consecrations and specific instructions God has given me?

• Have I received and walked in God’s joy?

• Am I content in the Lord?

• How many people are bottled up in my heart, left unforgiven?

• How have I handled thoughts of the future—by faith, or with anxiety and doubt?

• Have I been diligent in my work and responsibilities?

• Most of all, am I ready for the rapture?

I don’t know your answers, but I do know this: if you honestly examine your life and humbly come to God for help, He will not cast you out.

But if you neglect these things—even after noticing you're slipping—it’s only a matter of time. Days roll into weeks, weeks into months, and eventually years. That’s how many people backslide: it started with just one day.

So this June, don’t just move with the calendar.

Pause. Reflect. Examine yourself.

And return to your first love.

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

Isaiah 1:18

Lying finds you even when you're not looking for it. You see, I can actually be the most moral person (just so you know, morality ≠ a Christian walk), but somehow, that spirit warmly wraps itself around parts of my business. No one gets hurt—so it seems—but I’ve already told a lie.

The Lord, the Firstborn in the family of the beloved, summarized the commandments and gave us His new instructions, the greatest being:

“You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”

— Matthew 22:37–40 (NLT)

This great commandment is not just some noble quote from the Holy Book. It is a living command that guides the order of our lives and walk.

Loving the Lord with all your heart [in the context of honesty] means saying “yes” when you mean it, and “no” when you don’t. It means not faking signatures in any form. It means being trustworthy in your actions—selling what you say you sell, and not baiting people with products or offers you don’t have, only for them to leave disappointed.

The Lord warned the Israelites as they prepared to settle into the Promised Land:

“You must not have in your possession inaccurate measures of length, weight, or volume. You must have accurate and honest weights and measures, so that you may enjoy a long life in the land the Lord your God is giving you. All who cheat with dishonest weights and measures are detestable to the Lord your God.”

— Deuteronomy 25:13–16 (NLT)

If we truly want to please the Lord, we must remove anything that makes us detestable to Him. We must not keep dishonesty in our bosoms.

• Half-truths are still lies.

• White lies are still lies. Yes, you may say, “Tee, no one was hurt.” True. But at what expense? Your soul? Your love for God? We are to love the Lord with all our heart, all our soul, all our strength.

• Most exaggerations are lies. When you're in the heat of a moment, surrounded by noise and many voices, try to be quiet. Think: Will I walk away from this conversation as someone who loves the Lord with all their mind?

• Not speaking up when someone is falsely accused is also a lie. It is deception by silence.

• False witness is a lie. If you didn’t see anything, don’t say you did—not even out of “respect” for anyone.

• Flattery—insincere praise used to manipulate—is another form of lying.

Are you so concerned with how someone will feel when you tell the truth, that you forget how God feels about lies?

Do you fear people more than you fear the Lord?

“Tee, there are times we need to be wise.”

Yes, and I would be lying if I said otherwise. But God is the source of wisdom in such times—not you, not your logic.

He helped David, and many of our fathers. His wisdom is pure, peaceable, and incorruptible. He will help you.

I want to remind you, again, of what awaits:

“...all liars...”

All kinds. All types. ALL.

Revelation 21:8 calls this judgment the second death.

But remember Joseph—when he ran from Potiphar’s wife, he wasn’t escaping flames or punishment. He was fleeing because he loved the Lord. He said:

“How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?”

— Genesis 39:9

That was all that mattered to him.

So I ask you now:

Do you love the Lord enough not to lie?

If you come to Him, He will not cast you out.

For some reasons I do not fully understand, this was hard to put together. I do not know why; maybe because fear cuts so deep into the best of us- or perhaps my own dealings with fear, from which The Lord has delivered me.

The Bible describes fear as having "torment", and I couldn't think of any better word. Torment- because it eats away at you, and steals your peace.

 We've all heard the popular sermons that say:

"There are 365 verses that say 'Fear not'- one for each day".

That is true and profound.

But what happens when you still fear ?

What happens when you do not have the faith to laugh in the face of circumstances like Sarah, when you begin to sound like the children of Israel sent to spy the land saying, "They are giants, we are like grasshoppers in their sight". What happens when your faith begins to waver?

Why are you afraid ?

I can tell you of someone who would wake up at night from nightmares, heavily breathing -gripped by their very own fear, someone who couldn't soundly sleep for nights, for anxiety of the future. 

It is in our nature to want to control things- to be in control of the order of our lives, to sit at the driver's seat and take the wheel. But we're mortals with very limited vision -there's only so much we can see. 

The bible speaks of the rich fool who had everything going seemingly well. He told his heart to be merry (he thought he was in control). But God said: 

"...You fool! Your soul will be required tonight." Luke 12:20

So yes, fear often sneaks in when life doesn't go as planned. And planning isn't wrong- it's wise to have structures, and goals. But at the point of our submission to God, we submit everything, including the control and order of our lives.

When fear starts to crawl in, you start to lose your identity in God.

Eventually, your confidence fades.

Fear cripples you.

You compromise your faith, because you no longer trust God's guide. 

Worst of all- you become disconnected from God. 

Fear consumes your identity, so you navigate life as one who is purposeless.

But let me introduce you to the God who holds your fear.

The disciples were with Jesus in the raging storm. Jesus was right there with them, and in the midst of their fear, Jesus rises to calm the storm! 

Yes, He challenged their lack of faith, but He didn't leave them to be consumed by the storm. 

When you come before The One Who Sees with your fear, He will hold you, and you will not be consumed. He says: "Let not your heart be troubled.." John 14:1

One of my verses of strength was prayed by King David:

"What time I am afraid, I will trust in You." Psalm 56:3

How beautiful is that? 

That anytime I feel afraid, I can place it in Him. That comes from a place of contentment, i know that He is enough.

He will give you a sound mind ( 1 Timothy 1:7), and a confidence that makes you sound like Joshua, "..For we are well able !" or Rahab who believed even before the walls fell.

Faith grows through confidence in who God is.

You MUST pray to God to reveal Himself to you- because when you truly know who He says He is, you will find fear has no ground. Even in the most overwhelming situations, you stand- head held high.

We begin to walk with Christ as his disciples when we start to deny ourselves, and take up our cross of daily commitment to the life of Christ - the life He expects of us. (Luke 9:23)

You see, coming into discipleship with Christ is like leaving everything in a comfort city- one you've grown all your life in, and already so used to- to a new city that offers a very better life, but then completely away from all you have been used to. It's like you're starting to live afresh. (Remember the newsletter on New Beginnings?)

Simply, it is hard.

But how about if you haven't let go of the old city like the children of Israel? They had a whole new life of having their own nation, a land flowing with goodness, most importantly, their freedom, but somehow they still preferred to be at Egypt eating onions and garlic, because of little challenges on their path to a new & better life. (Numbers 11:5; 14:3-4)

Could it be because you're starting over in a new city and it feels lonely, and seemingly hard at the start you're wishing to go back to poverty and all the slum life of the old city ?

You find yourself going back to the old friends, to the satisfaction you derive from the old partner that doesn't make you live in purity, from the money you steal from the office that serves as an "extra source of income", from the ease of avoiding responsibilities in the lies you tell. You have a facade of being a good person, a good Christian, but really, you know you haven't denied yourself. You are not Christ's disciple. You find yourself doing all of this because you simply cannot let go. 

But you are not alone.

The Corinthian church had people who were coming from an old life too ! 1 Corinthians 6:9-11:

 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,

10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

When you follow through the chapters Apostle Paul wrote to that church, they struggled the most with sins. They hadn't completely let go. But Apostle Paul reminds them that they were justified- they have been set right with God. They have been bought with a price, forgiven. 

God's mercy is still extended to you. "I write unto you that you do not sin. But if any man sins, we have an Advocate... Jesus the Righteous" 1 John 2:1. 

Jesus intercedes on your behalf. But you have to be intentional in letting go. 

Jesus, had a price too after dying for us. A majestic glory that waited for him. He denied His God self, and came in a form "..a little lower than the angels".

He has been faithful in His part to us, and still is. Why don't you make up your mind to let your own self go? Allow yourself to be crucified with Christ, let His own life lead you to the majestic glory ahead.

"to him that overcometh will I grant to sit in my throne..." Revelation 3:21

in whom we have the forgiveness of sins.

The Goodnews- the gospel of Our Lord, can be viewed through three primary lenses:

There's the perfect, constant love of God where God, "...greatly loved [and dearly prized] the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son..." John 3:16 AMP

There's the forgiveness of sins: "and I will remember their sins and their lawless acts no more [no longer holding their sins against them]" Hebrews 10:17 AMP.

There's the eternal hope of permanent reconciliation with Him "do not let your heart be troubled... I am going to prepare a place for you, ...when I am done, I will receive you to myself, so that where I am, there you will also be". John 14:1-3

These make up the basics of the goodnews of Christ & His eternal kingdom. We know the most important part of this goodnews is the perfect love of Christ, "these three remain: faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love " 1 Corinthians 13:13, from which all other sides to the goodnews stems, and which we can be completely reconciled to the Father.

This time, we're not studying God's perfect love, or the gloriously majestic home we would be at the end of the age.

We're learning forgiveness.

10,000 out of 10,000 people who are genuinely saved know they have been forgiven. That's everyone! yes, that's because alongside the love of Christ, Christ instructs us to preach the forgiveness of sins in His name. So yes He loves us uniquely, also , He no longer holds our dirty lifestyles and whoring to heart. In His promise of a new covenant, He said " I will be merciful & gracious towards their wickedness and I will remember their sins no more" Hebrews 8:12 AMP.

The reality, however, is that forgiveness comes in two parts; first the forgiveness from God, the assurance of His love for us, which is expressed in His forgiveness of our filth, and next, the forgiveness from ourselves - forgiving ourselves.

Forgiving yourself, truly, and walking in a new life is a reality that could be hard to grasp. It genuinely becomes easy- you can only completely & wholly forgive yourself- when you understand how and why Christ has forgiven you. Many times we have a theoretical concept of what Christ's forgiveness is, but it never really lives in us, a breathing and walking, life changing [even] reality.

This is one reason we struggle with guilt of the past. I mean we are in Christ, but we lack the joys that sustains us in Christ. We are sad and depressed, and oftentimes suicidal; we can't bear the brunt of the past, and there's nothing to look forward to as hope.

It's like we're stuck, there's no peace there. not the kind of peace we temporarily get, but the one that is completely beyond what we can imagine; the promised peace alongside our position in Christ:

"since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..." Romans 5:1 NIV

So we say things like "I know God has forgiven me, but I don't think I can ever forgive myself ". This, infact, used to be me. I could not rise- guilt had wrapped itself around my soul. I was rooted in place, burdend by what I couldn't undo. you see, I was stuck, and a void formed in me, even with all of God's Big love.

When we have this void, we would miss out on genuine experiences that can only be experienced in these times of our mortality, and we wouldn't have the easiest Christian walk- you wouldn't feel what the other brethren feel; it's like you see their joy, peace and wholeness but you can't touch it. Today, the Holy Spirit whispers to you, to forgive yourself. Let it go.

First, to accept the reality of God's forgiveness for you, you have to be intentional about it. Do not stay or remain helpless, like I was for almost a year. Satan will feed on your helplessness, and you would almost lose your stand with The Lord!

You are deserving of Christ's love, do not wonder about it, accept it.

Bring down imaginations that want to exalt themselves above Christ's love for you, because it's false! "what can separate us from Christ's perfect love?" Romans 8:39.

Next, you must, in your prayers ask the important questions.

• "what is the significance of Your death on that cross for me"?

• “what is the reality that Your love & forgiveness has brought to the order of my life?"

• “why did you need to die for me, too?"

You must ask these questions, so the Holy Spirit exposes you to these realities. Only in asking will you receive help & insight. " The Father will send the Holy Spirit in My name, He will teach you all things..." John 14:26.

Finally, consistently listen to sermons about Christ's forgiveness, connect to powerful worship sessions, and stay in His presence always. It was in a sermon at my local church I received the insight to the reality, and remembered crying my heart out in the reality of how free I have become.
