jobs.

Three different clocks

pulling at your bones,

three different places

that asked for everything you owned

and still, somehow,

you came home.

Not just in body,

not just to rest,

but present

fully, faithfully,

giving us your best.

I didn’t understand it then,

the weight behind your eyes,

the quiet strength it must have taken

just to keep us all supplied.

But I see it now

in the lines time gently drew,

in the way exhaustion followed you

like a shadow you outgrew.

Because you never let it win.

You showed up

to games, to dinners, to moments small,

to conversations I barely nights,

you loved my mother

like she was your answered prayer

steady, unwavering,

never loud, but always there.

Not the kind of love

that flickers when it’s hard,

but the kind that stays rooted

deep within the heart.

You didn’t just tell me

what love should look like

you lived it.

In the way you honored her,

respected her, stood by her side,

in the quiet, unseen moments

where real love chooses to abide.

And without ever saying it,

you wrote a eyes

Jesus Christ

Bearing a cross no mortal could devise.

The crowd roared loud with voices sharp as stone,

Yet in their fury, He stood all alone.

Mocked by the mouths He once had come to save,

Spit crowned His cheeks, yet still, He forgave.

No sword in hand, no vengeance in His breath,

Only surrender… only love through death.

The nails were driven—iron kissed with hate,

Piercing the hands that fashioned time and fate.

Each strike a thunder echoing through sin,

Each drop of blood a cleansing from within.

The earth itself seemed shaken by the sound,

As grace was pouring out upon the ground.

They raised Him high between both thief and sky,

A living bridge where lost souls dare to cry.

“Forgive them, Father”—words that split the air

Who pleads for mercy while in deep despair?

What kind of King, what heart so undefiled,

Would choose the cross… for every broken child?

The sun withdrew, creation veiled its face,

As death reached out to claim the Lord of grace.

The temple curtain tore from end to end

No longer distant was our God, but Friend.

The weight of sin, of every hidden scar,

Was laid on Him who bore it from afar.

Oh, do not rush beyond this crimson scene,

For in His wounds, our healing can be seen.

This is the cost of love we can’t repay,

This is the price that rolled our stone away.

Not just a story, not a passing day—

But victory wrapped in suffering and clay.

And so we come to Easter

Not dressed in pastels, not lost in display,

But kneeling low where blood once stained the wood,

Remembering what no one else could.

We celebrate not just an empty grave,

But why it’s empty—why He chose to save.

For death was not the ending of His breath,

But just the doorway He unlocked through death.

Three days of silence… then the stone gave way.

The dawn broke brighter than the darkest day.

He rose—He rose! But that’s not why I’m making this post.

I’m making this post to talk about how important it is to have a strong support team.

Over the past few months, I’ve had countless tests run to figure out why my stomach couldn’t tolerate almost any type of food. I was honestly really worried it was going to be something terrifying (if you haven’t gathered yet… I’m a bit of a hypochondriac 😅). But my parents, @ Biblical Womenhood and @BiblicalMan, continually reminded me that everything was in the Lord’s hands.

When the test results came back, we finally got an answer: I have 32 different food allergies—which explains why I’m always sick. And while that news was a lot to process, what stood out most to me wasn’t the diagnosis, but the love that surrounded me afterward.

My mom immediately started researching recipes I could eat, went to the store, and made sure I had food so I wouldn’t have to struggle on my own. My dad listened patiently to every frustration and made sure I always had a shoulder to cry on. And my close friends supported me in the best ways—checking in, encouraging me, and even making light-hearted jokes to help ease the heaviness of it all.

I truly don’t think I would be doing okay if it weren’t for my support team.

My mom especially has been one of my biggest supports—listening to every “new symptom,” every “what if,” and making sure I don’t feel alone while navigating all of these allergies. I can’t thank her enough.

I say all of this to remind anyone reading: when God places family and friends in your life to support you, don’t shut them out—even when you feel like you’re “too much.” They want to be there. They want to support you. They want to be a shoulder to lean on.

Mom and Dad, here I am writing yet another post thanking you for how you raised me, for how you’ve handled my crazy health situation, and for never treating me like I’m less than anyone else. I thank God every night for the parents He gave me.

Rooted & Redeemed :)

Always There.

For You, Who Knows Who You Are

Rooted & Redeemed

For You, Who Knows Who You Are

I don’t say your name out loud,

but if I did, it would sound like home.

Like a place I don’t have to explain myself in,

like quiet laughter and shared glances

that say I understand without a single word.

You are the kind of person

who shows up without announcing it,

who carries warmth in small, unnoticed ways—

the way you listen longer than most,

the way you remember things

people don’t realize they shared.

You don’t try to be extraordinary,

and maybe that’s why you are.

You make room for others

without shrinking yourself,

and that balance is rare,

even if you don’t always see it.

There have been moments

when the world felt loud and heavy,

when days blurred together

and hope felt like a fragile thing.

And somehow, you stood there—

not fixing, not forcing,

just steady, just present,

which was more than enough.

You have this way of carrying strength quietly.

Not the kind that demands attention,

but the kind that lasts.

The kind that survives tired nights

and unanswered questions

and still chooses kindness the next morning.

I admire how you keep going,

even when it would be easier not to.

How you hold onto what matters,

even when it costs you comfort.

How you remain soft

in a world that often rewards hardness.

You remind me that goodness doesn’t need to shout.

That loyalty can be gentle.

That love—of any kind—can be patient,

steady, and deeply rooted.

And maybe you don’t hear this enough,

so let me say it clearly:

You matter more than you know.

Your presence changes rooms.

Your words linger longer than you think.

Your existence has made life lighter for someone—

for me.

If one day you forget your worth,

I hope this finds you.

I hope you remember that someone noticed,

that someone is grateful,

that someone believes the world is better

with you in it.

This isn’t about perfection.

It never was.

It’s about the way you are—

honest, growing, human,

and quietly remarkable.

Send this poem to a friend or family member who has never let you down and has stood by you through thick and thin. And I never want to share something half‑hearted. I write when I feel the weight of what’s on my heart, and today, sitting on the couch with my little nephew sleeping peacefully on my chest, I finally had the space to reflect. So here’s what’s been on my mind.

2025 was the year everything changed for me. I went from being a young teen with a simple, low‑stress life to stepping into responsibilities that felt far more adult. I had to learn independence. I had to do things without my parents right beside me. I had to meet expectations from people who depended on me. I had to prioritize my physical and mental health. And most importantly, I had to learn how to move on.

As I sit here with my family, I realize I haven’t really thought about the new year—not because I don’t care, but because my mind has been stuck on the year that’s about to end. And dwelling on the past isn’t healthy. So instead, I want to write out what I hope to do in 2026—not to create a year of regret, but a year of growth.

In 2026…

• I’m going to learn to say no. I’m a people pleaser, and I overload myself trying to make everyone happy.

• I’m letting go of toxic friendships—people who use me, belittle me, or only come to me when they need something, yet tell me I “talk about myself too much” when I try to share my own life.

• I’m going to win more souls to the Lord. I’m done shying away. I’m ready to live boldly and share the gospel with every creature.

• I’m going to strengthen my body and my health—not for appearance, but because I can feel myself wearing down, and I want to be strong and comfortable in who I am.

• I’m going to read my Bible all the way through for the second time.

• I’m going to pray more—truly pray—for people.

• I’m not going to let friends speak negatively about my body, my life, or my choices.

• I’m going to prioritize family over friends who don’t genuinely care.

I want to become the woman God intended—not the woman the world tries to mold.

I’m sharing this so I can look back and be proud. And don’t get me wrong—I am proud of myself for what I overcame in 2025. I overcame an eating disorder. I overcame depression. I overcame suicidal thoughts. And through all of it, I found the woman God is shaping me to be.

God taught me so much this year, and now I’m ready to carry those lessons into 2026.

I hope that anyone reading this takes a moment to reflect on what you want to grow in—not your worldly appearance or status, but your spiritual life. I pray each of you has a beautiful New Year, and that 2026 is a year full of purpose and blessing.

Rooted & Redeemed :)

To My Mom.

On this day, the world was blessed,

Rooted & Redeemed

On this day, the world was blessed,

With a woman clothed in grace and rest.

A godly heart, a shining light,

Guiding me through both day and night.

You taught me faith, steadfast and true,

To lift my eyes when skies were blue,

And when the storms of life would roar,

You showed me Christ, my steady shore.

In the household, your hands have sown,

Seeds of love that daily grow.

Through gentle words and patient care,

You built a home of peace and prayer.

A wife devoted, strong yet kind,

With wisdom deep and noble mind.

You showed me what a covenant means,

A sacred vow, a holy dream.

Your place as wife, you hold with pride,

Not shrinking back, nor pushed aside.

But standing firm, with love displayed,

A partner true, through trials stayed.

As mother, you have been my guide,

My role model, my joy, my pride.

You taught me courage, taught me grace,

And how to walk in wisdom’s place.

Your laughter rings, your prayers ascend,

Your love endures, it does not end.

And on this birthday, I proclaim,

How blessed I am to bear your name.

May heaven’s favor crown your years,

May joy outweigh all earthly tears.

For you, dear Mom, my heart will sing,

A daughter’s gift, my offering.

So here’s to you, both wife and mother,

Unlike you, there is no other.

A godly woman, rare and true,

Happy birthday, Mom—I honor you.

Rooted & I’m preparing for three upcoming competitions:

• Two solo pieces (memorized) — one is 5 pages, the other 4, both manageable.

• My senior concerto — Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 25: I. This one is 20 pages long, performed with two pianists (my teacher being the second), and must be memorized by April.

On top of that, I’m playing 15 songs for the high school where I work (WDA and All-State), preparing more music as new assignments come in, performing with the middle school concerts, and trying to graduate on time.

I don’t share this to brag, but to be honest: it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and slip into an unhealthy mindset. That mindset whispers:

• No one understands the pressure I’m under.

• I’m letting people down, even though all I do is sit at the piano.

• I’m not doing enough.

• Most importantly, God is not my priority.

That’s where I was for months — until Sunday, when my pastor preached from 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18. His message was titled “Three Choices That Will Change Your Christian Life.”

1. The Choice to Rejoice

“Rejoice evermore.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:16 (KJV)

Rejoicing is the key to overcoming sorrow. As Paul writes:

“As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.” — 2 Corinthians 6:10 (KJV)

We all face seasons of sorrow, but God reminds us that joy is not optional — it’s commanded. My pastor added: “If you can’t find anything to be joyful about, think of the day you’ll be in paradise with Christ our Savior.” That alone filled me with joy.

2. The Choice to Pray

“Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)

Prayer is not just a ritual; it’s laying everything at God’s feet. Philippians 4:6 reminds us:

“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

We often try to hide our struggles from God — feelings of failure, overwhelm, misplaced priorities. But He already knows. He simply asks us to be honest and ask for help:

“For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” — Matthew 7:8 (KJV)

3. The Choice to Give Thanks

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)

Gratitude is not automatic. Philippians 2:14 says:

“Do all things without murmurings and disputings.”

It’s easy to complain — about traffic, slow drivers, talkative people, endless tasks. But murmuring discourages others. As Christians, we’re called to encourage, because we carry the greatest news of all: salvation in Christ.

That sermon changed me. I stopped hiding my struggles from God and laid them down at His feet. I don’t want to live in that unhealthy mindset anymore. Instead, I want to live the opposite — rejoicing, praying, and giving thanks.

So today, Christian, how is your life?

• Are you choosing to rejoice?

• Are you choosing to pray?

• Are you choosing to give thanks?

I hope this encourages someone. I’ve tried again and again to put those emotions into words, but they never seemed to make sense.

As a young adult stepping into adulthood, the questions come quickly: “What are your plans?” And when I answer, “I don’t know,” people look surprised. Some are shocked that I don’t want to go to college. Others say I’ve spent too much of my life as a teenager, sitting at the piano or pouring myself into my job. At times, it feels like I’m being stretched in every direction—like a doll pulled too thin.

Eventually, I had to stop and have a real conversation with the Lord. I realized this is my life, and how others choose to view me isn’t something I need to carry. I spend far too much time worrying about what people might be saying about me. But God reminded me to stay focused on the right path: to put on blinders, keep my eyes on the road ahead, and not be distracted by what’s beside me or behind me.

So I hope this poem makes sense, and that someone else can find themselves in it too.

Life rushes forward, a river untamed,

Its current pulls hard, yet I feel the same.

Friends drift away on boats made of haste,

While I stand ashore, watching, misplaced.

They speak of futures, of plans well-defined,

Of ladders to climb, of goals intertwined.

But I linger here, with feet in the sand,

Wondering if I’ll ever understand.

The world says, “Grow up, hurry, don’t wait—

Your youth is a season that closes its gate.”

And I feel the pressure, the weight of the call,

To sprint when I’ve barely learned to crawl.

My heart feels weary, my spirit drained,

Like a clock wound tight, yet nothing gained.

I stumble in shadows, unsure of my place,

Longing for mercy, for slower grace.

But then I remember—God does not rush,

He whispers in stillness, in gentle hush.

He does not abandon, nor leave me behind,

His pace is patient, His love is kind.

He sends me a soul who will walk beside,

Not racing ahead, but matching my stride.

Someone who waits, who knows the art,

Of moving with tenderness, guarding my heart.

So though the world spins faster each day,

I’ll trust in the One who shows me the way.

For life may demand I change too soon,

But God lights my path beneath the moon.

And when friends depart, when seasons shift,

He gives me a presence, a holy gift.

A hand to hold, a voice to say:

“You’re not behind—you’re right on My way.”

Rooted & I thought it was so beautiful. I’d even underline random verses just so mine would look like that. I wanted my Bible to feel lived-in, like theirs.

But as I’ve grown older, I look at the Bible I’ve had for about four years now. It’s not perfect. Some verses in Psalms are underlined in pen, others in highlighter, and a few in pencil. But I can remember each one—why I marked it, what I was going through, what it meant to me in that moment. There are tear stains on certain pages. Quotes scribbled on the back pages. It’s messy, yes—but it’s mine.

I used to be embarrassed by that. I remember showing my Bible to my Nana once. She showed me hers, and I apologized, saying, “Sorry it’s so messy. I want to get a new one.” She looked at me and said, “Why does it matter? It’s your Bible, your thoughts, your moments. You wrote them down in there—it just proves you love it.”

And I know that sounds obvious, but it had never occurred to me.

My Bible isn’t shiny anymore. The pages aren’t crisp, and it doesn’t smell brand new. But it’s my best friend. It’s sat on my shelf, been left in my car for days, and held in my hands during moments of deep sorrow and joy. I’ve sobbed over verses that felt like answers I’d been waiting for. I’ve clung to promises that soothed my soul. It’s even led people to the Lord.

So if you asked me now if I’m ashamed of my Bible, I’d say absolutely not. Those uneven markings, sticky notes with random quotes, and tear stains are all reflections of God’s power moving in me. They prove that this Bible isn’t just a book—it’s a companion. It never changes, yet it always has something new to offer. It never gets old. It’s never too hard to understand. And it’s never been something I’ve been angry at.

So Christian, if you’re ashamed of how your Bible looks—if it’s falling apart or covered in scribbles—that’s okay. That’s a representation of how God’s Word has worked in you.

And if you’re a new Christian, I urge you: bring pens to church. Underline verses that speak to you. Highlight chapters that stick out. Write things down. Because one day, you’ll look back and see what I mean. You’ll see how that Bible carried you through seasons, taught you lessons, and made your life better.

I hope someone out there can relate to this.
<div So I thought—what better way to distract myself than to write what’s been weighing on my heart?

The past two days have been a whirlwind of music and emotion. I performed at two concerts, and the first one was eventful, to say the least. I was at the high school from 10:30 AM until 8:45 PM—completely exhausted, yet riding an adrenaline rush. Every second on that stage, in front of hundreds of people, felt electric. I soak in every moment I get to perform. It’s not just music—it’s purpose.

Then yesterday, I was back at the high school rehearsing with the middle schoolers until 2:00 PM. I went home, practiced my music, and returned at 5:30 PM for the evening concert, which wrapped up around 8:45. And let me tell you—those middle schoolers? They had a mass choir of 93 kids! All on stage, and I had the privilege of accompanying them.

I’m not sharing this to brag or draw attention to myself. I’m sharing it because when I play those first notes and hear all those young voices rise together, I feel something deeply spiritual. I imagine what Heaven’s choir might sound like one day. I know it will be infinitely more glorious, but even this glimpse—this earthly echo—moves me to tears.

Looking at their faces, I don’t see “annoying kids.” I see God’s creation. I see souls with futures, with purpose. I remember being one of them—sitting in the audience, watching the same conductor I now work for, thinking in my little head, One day, I’ll be up there. I’ll be that pianist. And now, to be the one playing for them? It brought me to tears tonight.

On the drive home, my little sister was rattling off facts about composers, and I was half-listening, half-lost in my own world—thanking God for this beautiful life. It’s so easy to take it all for granted. But when you fulfill a dream—even if you’ve fulfilled it before—it still feels surreal.

So yes, this post is a little all over the place. But tonight, I just want to ask: What is something the Lord has allowed you to fulfill? And are you truly appreciating the life He’s given you?

Something’s been weighing on my heart today, and I feel led to share it.

Friday nights. To many, they’re a time to unwind, celebrate, and let loose. But for me, Friday nights paint a different picture. I see packed breweries, crowded downtown streets, and sirens echoing more than usual. Statistically, it’s the night with the most accidents. Why? Because we live in a culture that tells us Friday night is for drinking, partying, and escaping the stress of the week. Sleep in Saturday, recover, repeat.

Alcohol is everywhere—billboards, commercials, music. It’s not just accepted; it’s glorified. Country songs romanticize it. Ads make it look harmless. And young people? They’re watching. I looked into it: 22% of high school students report using alcohol. That number might not seem huge, but it shouldn’t exist at all. It’s a symptom of normalization.

So why am I sharing this? Because it breaks my heart to hear teens counting down the days until they’re “legally” allowed to drink. Or worse, using fake IDs to get there faster. Some parents even turn a blind eye—or worse, support it.

I’m beyond grateful for my parents. They never stepped foot in a liquor store. They never exposed me to drinking. They made it clear: alcohol ruins lives. And when others tried to normalize it, my dad shut it down without hesitation.

Here’s my personal belief: many alcoholics carry shame. And instead of facing it, they pull others into the same cycle—so they don’t feel alone in their regret. It starts small, like a snowball, and before you know it, it’s an avalanche.

But it’s not just alcohol. It’s the language we use. The way we casually take the Lord’s name in vain. The music we listen to. The jokes we laugh at. As Christians, we’re called to keep our minds pure and holy. And last time I checked, God’s last name isn’t a curse word.

So I’ll ask you: What are you allowing to become normal in your life?

Is it that song with 20+ curse words? That show that mocks faith? That habit you’ve justified because “everyone does it”?

This post isn’t just a rant—it’s a wake-up call. Being a Christian isn’t just about reading the Bible, praying, and going to church. It’s about the choices we make daily. The things we tolerate. The conversations we engage in.

Ask yourself: If God were sitting beside you, would He be okay with what you’re hearing, saying, or doing?

I hope this stirred something in you. Maybe even made your flesh uncomfortable. Because this is a battle we must face—not blend into.

Wishing you a great Sunday.

Rooted & Redeemed :)

Anxiety.

This is a poem I wrote during a really tough time in my life, when fear and anxiety had a strong grip on me.

Rooted & Redeemed

This is a poem I wrote during a really tough time in my life, when fear and anxiety had a strong grip on me. I couldn’t leave my house alone or go to a store by myself because I was constantly worried about all sorts of things.

When I was younger, I didn’t believe anxiety was real—I thought it was just a word people overused. That changed when I started experiencing it myself. I went to the doctor thinking something was seriously wrong with me, and they told me I had severe anxiety and panic attacks. The panic attacks felt like heart attacks. My mom would have to talk me through calming down because I’d get so overwhelmed.

When I finally put all my faith in God, He didn’t remove my anxiety—but He gave me the strength and tools to face it head-on. Yes, I still experience crippling panic attacks, and yes, I still struggle with anxiety that feels heavier than it should. But I’ve found a new way of dealing with it—not by ignoring it, but by confronting it with faith.

I hope this poem helps someone who might be going through the same thing.

It comes without knocking, slips through the door,

A shadow that settles deep into the floor.

It whispers in corners, it rattles the glass,

It paints every future with echoes of past.

It wears many faces—regret, doubt, and shame,

It calls me by failures, not by my name.

It tightens its grip when I try to breathe,

A phantom that dances when I try to leave.

It speaks in a language I know too well:

“You’re not enough.” “You’re bound to fail.”

It builds up walls with trembling hands,

And buries my courage in shifting sands.

I’ve tried to outrun it, I’ve tried to ignore,

But it waits in the silence, behind every door.

It dresses in logic, it cloaks itself wise,

But its wisdom is poison, its truth full of lies.

It steals my sleep and floods my mind,

It rewinds my wounds, one frame at a time.

It tells me that peace is just pretend,

That joy is a story that always ends.

But then—

A whisper louder than the storm,

A voice not born of earthly form.

It speaks not shame, but sacred grace,

It lifts my chin to see His face.

“Come to Me,” He says, “all burdened and weak,

I’ll give you rest, the peace you seek.”

He walks through walls that fear has built,

He heals the heart that drips with guilt.

He doesn’t flinch at my trembling soul,

He doesn’t scorn what fear stole.

He stretches His hands, pierced and wide,

And beckons me gently to step outside.

Outside the prison of anxious thought,

Outside the lies that fear has taught.

Into the light where truth is sung,

Where battles are fought—and already won.

For every tremble, He is still.

For every void, He is fill.

For every night I’ve cried alone,

He’s carved my name into His throne.

So now when fear begins its song,

I sing a louder, holy one.

I speak the name that breaks all chains,

The One who bore my cross and pain.

Anxiety may knock, it may still try,

But I’ve learned to look it in the eye.

And say, “You’re not my master now—

I wear a victor’s crown upon my brow.”

For Christ has walked the darkest hall,

He’s felt the weight, He’s heard the call.

And in His love, I rise, I stand—

No longer bound by fear’s command.

So let the ghost come, let it rage and cry,

I’ll meet it with truth that never dies.

For I am held, redeemed, set free—

By Christ, who lives and fights for me.

The Weight I Carried

I walked for years with burdened soul,

Rooted & Redeemed

I walked for years with burdened soul,

A shadow trailing, dark and cold.

Regret, my cloak, worn thin and frayed,

By choices made and prayers delayed.

I chased the wind, ignored the light,

Held onto wrongs with all my might.

Each misstep carved into my skin,

A map of shame I wandered in.

I built my walls with silent tears,

Stacked high with guilt and hidden fears.

I let the past define my name,

And wore my failures like a flame.

I said, “I’m fine,” I’ve always imagined myself as a pianist too, not just playing alone, but surrounded by an orchestra, where every instrument breathes life into the notes I’ve written. That dream has lived quietly inside me for years—whispering, sometimes roaring.

Tonight, I watched an orchestra perform live. The way they moved together, the way the music filled the room—it was more than beautiful. It was transformative. It reminded me why I started dreaming in the first place. Watching them play stirred something deep in me. It made me feel like I belonged on that stage, like my music deserves to be heard.

So I came home and wrote this poem. It’s not just a collection of words—it’s my wish, my fire, my future. Someday, I want to be the one behind the piano, with an orchestra beside me, and a thousand people knowing my name. So here’s my poem Someday.

Someday, I’ll walk onto that stage,

Not as a guest, but as a flame—

A pianist with a heart full of music,

And a name the silence came to claim.

I’ll sit beneath the golden lights,

Where every shadow knows my name.

The orchestra will breathe beside me,

And I’ll no longer dream—I’ll play.

I’ve imagined it a thousand times:

The hush before the overture begins,

The baton rising like a promise,

The swell of strings beneath my skin.

I’ll wear black like the night sky,

But my soul will shimmer with sound.

Each note a wish I made as a child,

Each chord a step on sacred ground.

I’ll play not just with fingers,

But with every ache and joy I’ve known.

The piano will become my voice,

And the music will make me whole.

I’ve practiced in quiet corners,

On keys that whispered back in dreams.

I’ve cried over wrong notes and broken rhythms,

But never gave up on what this means.

Because someday,

I’ll be there.

Not watching, not wishing—

But performing one day.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" night,

And prayed for love I’ve never met.

I walk with hope beneath the skies,

Where petals fall and breezes sigh.

Each step I take, I wonder when

Your path will cross and ours begin.

I don’t need fairy tales or fame,

Just someone who will speak my name

Like it’s a promise, soft and true—

A vow that God once wrote for you.

I dream of hands that fit in mine,

Of quiet talks and shared design.

Of laughter echoing through halls,

Of dancing slow in candle walls.

I’ve asked the Lord to guard my heart,

To keep it whole, to set apart

The love that’s meant to find its way,

Not rush, but bloom in perfect day.

I want a love that kneels in prayer,

That finds its strength in being fair.

A man who sees beyond the skin,

And loves the soul that dwells within.

I’ll wait for you, not out of fear,

But faith that you are drawing near.

That somewhere now, you seek me too,

And feel this longing just as true.

Perhaps you’re learning how to lead,

Or planting grace in word and deed.

Perhaps you’re healing, growing still,

Preparing for the Father’s will.

And while you walk your sacred pace,

I’ll bloom in mine, in quiet grace.

I’ll write, I’ll sing, I’ll learn to be

The woman God designed for thee.

And when we meet, I’ll know the sound—

Of love that’s built on solid ground.

Not fleeting sparks or shallow flame,

But fire that burns in Jesus’ name.

So let the seasons come and go,

Let rivers rise and moonlight glow.

I’ll wait with joy, with heart aglow,

For love that Heaven chose to sow.
