Welcome to the August Edition of the PSoAR Newsletter!

Dear Community,

Whether we are finding presence in a quiet Ozark forest or following landmark policy debates in the Capitol, the movement toward conscious, informed, and therapeutic access to psychedelics is flowing on all fronts.

In this edition, we take you inside an unforgettable, fully present sound journey in Eureka Springs and highlight groundbreaking LSD research happening right in our backyard in Rogers. Plus, we take a look at the recent federal HHS/VA psychedelic research partnership and break down the 2026 legislative session in Missouri.

A Sound Journey into Presence

There is something inherently sacred about the way sound cuts through the noise of daily life. Across cultures and throughout history, rhythm, vibration, and meditation have served as reliable bridges into non-ordinary states of consciousness—quieting the analytical mind, regulating the nervous system, and opening doors to profound inner insight.

For the Psychedelic Society of Arkansas (PSoAR) – Eureka Springs Chapter, that ancient tradition came alive during an immersive afternoon hosted by facilitators Lisa and Griff Roark.

An Off-Grid Sanctuary in the Ozarks

Set within a secluded, off-grid home, nature itself felt like an active co-facilitator. Inside, the energy was pure community. People rested stacked wall-to-wall—a packed room united by a shared curiosity for consciousness, therapeutic sound, and deep rest.

As the session began, Lisa and Griff created an intuitive, multi-layered soundscape using a diverse array of instruments: an enormous gong, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, and a crystal pyramid mingled with the soothing notes of the Native American flute.

The sound washed over everyone, inviting participants into deeply meditative, dreamy states of presence without a single substance required.

The Picture We Didn’t Take

If you look through our photo gallery above, you’ll find photos of the warm, sunlit room in Lisa and Griff’s home—but you won’t find a single photo of the sound bath itself.

That wasn’t an oversight; it was the point.

In a world obsessed with capturing moments for screens, the entire room chose complete, undivided presence. Cameras were put away, phones were silenced, and everyone in the room participated fully in the experience.

Integration and Community Connection

When the final chime faded and the room slowly drifted back into ordinary awareness, nobody rushed for the exit.

Participants stayed to mingle, share insights, and reflect on their individual journeys. It was a powerful reminder that while the sound bath itself was an internal exploration, the true heart of PSoAR lies in the integration—bringing those insights back out into a supportive, grounded community.

Cutting-Edge Psychedelic Science in Our Own Backyard: Rogers Study Investigates LSD & SRI Interactions

While national headlines often focus on major research hubs on the coasts, groundbreaking psychedelic science is happening right here in Arkansas—a fact most people in our community don’t realize.

In Rogers, Woodland Research Northwest is actively enrolling participants for a clinical trial exploring the interaction between Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SRIs) and LSD. As psychedelic-assisted therapies move closer to clinical integration, understanding how classic psychedelics interact with commonly prescribed antidepressants is one of the most critical frontiers in modern healthcare.

Study Overview & Volunteer Requirements

Researchers are evaluating the pharmacological interaction between SRIs and LSD in healthy adults to help build safer, more effective treatment protocols for the future.

• Target Participants: Healthy adult volunteers.

• Facility Requirements: Volunteers must be able to stay overnight at the Woodland Research Northwest clinical research facility in Rogers.

• Compensation: Participants receive financial compensation for study-related time and travel.

National News: HHS and VA Form Landmark Partnership for Veteran Access

In a major federal development, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to accelerate clinical trials, scientific data-sharing, and healthcare infrastructure for rapid-acting psychiatric therapies, including psilocybin, MDMA, and ibogaine derivatives.

“America owes every Veteran the best care our nation can provide,” said HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. “We’re not going to wait while promising treatments sit on the sidelines.”

This multi-year agreement directly operationalizes Executive Order 14401 (Accelerating Medical Treatments for Serious Mental Illness). Under the MOU, the HHS and VA will coordinate clinician training, harmonize safety protocols, and establish real-world evidence pipelines so that the VA medical system is fully equipped to deploy novel therapies as they move toward potential FDA approval.

Breakthroughs and Bottlenecks: The Story of Missouri’s 2026 Psychedelic Legislative Push

In 2026, our neighbors to the north emerged as an unexpected epicenter for state-level psychedelic policy reform in the Heartland. Once considered an improbable topic for the state Capitol, alternative therapies for mental health—specifically psilocybin and ibogaine—moved to the forefront of legislative debate.

Driven by bipartisan coalitions of military veterans, healthcare advocates, and law enforcement groups, Missouri lawmakers introduced a suite of four major legislative proposals: HB 1717, SB 90, HB 2817, and HB 2961.

While all four measures ultimately expired when the General Assembly adjourned in May 2026, their progress has shown a marked shift in attitudes towards psychedelics in the Heartland.

The Legislative Landscape: Two Distinct Strategic Tracks

Rather than pursuing broad recreational or commercial markets (like Colorado and Oregon), Missouri’s 2026 reform efforts fell into two distinct, highly medicalized categories: supervised psilocybin access models and state-funded ibogaine clinical research.

Psilocybin & Right-To-Try: HB 1717 and SB 90

Both HB 1717 (sponsored by Rep. Richard West, R) and SB 90 (sponsored by Sen. Stephen Webber, D) were designed to grant military veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors legal access to psilocybin under strict clinical oversight:

• Eligible Populations & Conditions: Focused on adults 21 and older suffering from severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), major depressive disorder, substance use disorders, or end-of-life care needs. SB 90 also explicitly extended protections to survivors of human trafficking.

• Clinical Supervision: Required mandatory participation in an approved study, oversight by licensed facilitators, advance notification to the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), and safety testing by state-licensed laboratories.

• Dosing Cap: Capped therapeutic administration at 150 mg of psilocybin analyte (4-phosphoryloxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine) per patient over any 12-month period.

• Right-To-Try Expansion: Amended state “Right-to-Try” statutes to remove exemptions for Schedule I substances, allowing manufacturers to supply investigational psychedelic compounds to terminally or severely ill patients.

Trajectory and Ultimate Outcome

• HB 1717 (The Breakthrough Vehicle): HB 1717 became the primary engine of the 2026 session. In February, House committees combined HB 1717 with companion psilocybin and ibogaine measures (forming HCS HBs 1717 & 1643). On April 2, 2026, the bill made state history by passing the full House floor in a landslide 137–11 vote. Moving to the Senate, both the Emerging Issues and Fiscal Oversight committees reported the bill favorably with “Do Pass” recommendations. However, on May 7, 2026, amid end-of-session logjams, the bill was placed on the Senate Informal Calendar and died without a final floor vote.

• SB 90 (The Senate Companion): SB 90 successfully navigated the Senate Families, Seniors, and Health Committee, earning a “Do Pass” recommendation. However, as HB 1717 arrived from the House with veto-proof momentum, Senate leadership set SB 90 aside to focus on the House vehicle, leaving SB 90 stalled in committee queue at session end.

Dedicated Ibogaine Research: HB 2817 and HB 2961

While psilocybin bills focused on supervised administration, HB 2817 (sponsored by Rep. Matthew Overcast, R) and HB 2961 (sponsored by Rep. Richard West, R) tackled the synthetic plant alkaloid ibogaine. Jointly titled the Veterans Mental Health Innovation Act, these identical measures focused heavily on severe opioid addiction, co-occurring substance use disorders, and traumatic brain injury (TBI):

• FDA-Supervised Research Grants: Directed the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) to issue state grants funding FDA-supervised clinical trials evaluating ibogaine.

• Dual State Funds:

  1. Ibogaine Study Fund: Received state appropriations and private grants to fund trial operations.

  2. Ibogaine Intellectual Property Fund: Recaptured revenue generated from patent rights and commercial licensing from state-funded trials, redirecting all profits toward long-term veteran assistance programs.

• Hospital-Only Protocol: Mandated that if ibogaine ever receives FDA approval, administration must occur strictly within a hospital or licensed medical facility under physician care.

Trajectory and Ultimate Outcome

Introduced in early January 2026, both bills were referred to the House Emerging Issues Committee. On February 25, 2026, committee members merged the two proposals into a consolidated substitute (HCS HBs 2817 & 2961) and voted it out 8–1. The bill cleared the House Rules Committee (9–2) on April 1 and reached the House Perfection Calendar.

However, because key funding and study mechanisms from these bills were simultaneously merged into HB 1717, lawmakers focused their floor energy on HB 1717. Consequently, HCS HBs 2817 & 2961 remained on the House calendar and expired at adjournment.

Comparative Breakdown of Missouri’s 2026 Psychedelic Proposals

The Aftermath: What 2026 Accomplished

Although none of the four bills reached the Governor’s desk, labeling the 2026 session a failure misses the broader political shift.

1. Unprecedented Bipartisan Consensus: The overwhelming 137–11 vote on HB 1717 proved that therapeutic psychedelic reform is no longer a partisan sticking point in Missouri.

2. Standardized Statutory Blueprint: The legislative text crafted across HB 1717, SB 90, and the ibogaine bills—establishing facilitator standards, 150 mg dosing limits, and IP fund structures—now provides a pre-tested template for future sessions.

3. Paving the Way for 2027: Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have already signaled plans to reintroduce unified psilocybin and ibogaine legislation in the next session, leveraging the committee approvals and House victory achieved in 2026.

Leadership Spotlight:
Welcoming Dr. Christopher Knox, MD to the Board

PSoAR is honored to welcome Dr. Christopher G. Knox, M.D., of Russellville, AR, to our Board of Directors.

Dr. Knox is an Emergency Department Staff Physician at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville, AR, bringing 25 years of medical practice experience to our leadership team. He earned his B.S. in Zoology and Microbiology from the University of Arkansas in 1994, completed his medical degree at UAMS in 1998, and fulfilled his Family Practice residency in Fayetteville.

Dr. Knox serves as the medical director of Pottsville Fire and Rescue and Pope County 911, and has previously served Pope County EMS, the Russellville Fire Department, and the Buffalo National River.

Beyond his work in emergency medicine, Dr. Knox brings a rich, holistic perspective to PSoAR. His personal and professional interests include psychedelic research and integration, the sacramental use of psychedelics, indigenous cultures, philosophy, outdoor adventure, meditation, and yoga. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice. We are incredibly grateful to have his expertise contributing to our mission.

Spreading Our Roots: The Open Plains Symposium & PATH

Recently, Tulsa hosted the Open Plains Symposium, featuring a keynote address by author and researcher Joe Tafur.

A major highlight of the symposium was a panel discussion introducing PATH: The Psychedelic Alliance of the Heartland. PATH is a newly formed coalition comprised of leaders from psychedelic societies across a four-state area: Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

Historically, the Heartland has lagged behind the coasts and faced deeply unique cultural and legal challenges. PATH was born out of a moment of connection at our first Decriminalizing Consciousness Symposium, when leaders from these four states found themselves breaking bread and celebrating the growth of the psychedelic movement in our region.

The purpose of PATH is to share news, resources, and encouragement among regional psychedelic societies, driving grassroots activism across these states. By working together, we reduce the isolation and burnout that so often weighs on grassroots leadership, while lending collective momentum to regional conferences and symposia.

In a very real sense, we are connecting the separate nodes of a mycelial network across state lines. By weaving these connections together, we are creating a vast, resilient mycelial mat—a strong foundation capable of supporting an entire regional movement toward collective healing, education, and community.

Chapter Development: Leaders Needed in Fayetteville!

As our network expands, we want to ensure localized communities have consistent spaces to gather. We are currently seeking a dedicated Chapter Leader to head up our monthly meetings in Fayetteville. If you are passionate about psychedelic education, harm reduction, and community building, and want to help steer the conversation in Northwest Arkansas, please reach out to us!

June Community Update

Dear Arkansas Psychedelic Community,

As we step into June, our local calendar is bursting with opportunities to connect, learn, and grow together. From mushroom cultivation in Eureka Springs to integration circles in Fayetteville and Bella Vista, the energy in our state is palpable.

But as we look at what’s happening right here in Arkansas, it is impossible to ignore the massive shifts happening on the national stage—and how they ripple down to us locally.

Trump’s Executive Order

Lately, a lot of folks in our community have been talking about the Executive Order signed by President Trump on April 18th, which specifically called for increased research into ibogaine. We are already seeing the concrete results of this national momentum.

The VA and Psychedelic Research

Just recently, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced a major new clinical trial studying MDMA-assisted therapy for veterans struggling with PTSD and alcohol use disorder. VA Secretary Doug Collins also confirmed in a Senate hearing that, following the President’s executive order, ibogaine is officially slated to be the department’s “next big one” for research.

Oklahoma Ibogaine Legislation

Last month, much closer to home, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt officially signed House Bill 3834 into law, enacting the Oklahoma Breakthrough Therapy Act.

This bipartisan law authorizes the Oklahoma State Department of Health to fund and support multi-state clinical trials to seek FDA approval for ibogaine—a powerful, naturally occurring psychedelic compound showing incredible promise in treating severe opioid use disorder, traumatic brain injuries, and PTSD.

Why does this matter to us in Arkansas?

Because federal and regional movement changes local conversations. It legitimizes these therapies, chips away at long-standing stigma, and paves the way for future access right here in Arkansas. In fact, efforts are underway to introduce a Psilocybin Pilot Program bill in the Arkansas legislature as early as spring 2027.

This bill is being championed by Natural State Mental Health, a 501(c)(4) organization dedicated to advancing legislation to make therapeutic access to psychedelic plants and compounds a reality in the state of Arkansas.

Guided by a commitment to establish a safe, medically supervised framework for psychedelic-assisted therapy, a future bill would aim to create an in-state avenue for Arkansans to access the profound benefits of psilocybin for severe depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders.

We realize Fayetteville needs its own dedicated chapter, and we are officially looking for passionate community leaders to step up and make it happen.

We are seeking reliable, driven individuals who can commit to organizing just one event or integration circle per month to gather all the brilliant psychonauts we know Fayetteville is crawling with. This role is a fantastic opportunity for grassroots community building and could include outreach to students and psychology departments at the University of Arkansas. If you have a heart for connection, advocacy, and bringing people together safely, we need you.

Heartland Connections & Local Growth: May Newsletter

The “psychedelic spring” is in full bloom, and PSoAR has been busy cultivating connections both across state lines and right here at home. From scholarly presentations in Kansas to upcoming gatherings in our own backyards, there is a lot to celebrate this month.

PSoAR Represents at the Kansas Consciousness Conference

Last month, PSoAR leaders Joseph Hood and Beth Day traveled to Lawrence, Kansas, to present at the Kansas Consciousness Conference. Their session, “Psychedelics, Religion, and the Law,” delved into the complex legal and cultural tensions surrounding psychedelic substances in the U.S. They explored the critical intersection where drug policy meets religious freedom, inviting a deep dive into how ceremonial use is navigated in the modern legal landscape.

Introducing PATH: The Psychedelic Alliance of the Heartland

The spirit of collaboration didn’t stop at the podium. Joseph and Beth also sat on a regional panel alongside leaders from across the Heartland. Since our Decriminalizing Consciousness Symposium last year, a network has been organically growing between leaders in Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

We informally call ourselves PATH—the Psychedelic Alliance of the Heartland. This alliance includes:

• Missouri: Psychedelic Society of the Ozarks (PSOTO), Psychedelic Society of Kansas City, and Psychedelic STL (St. Louis).

• Kansas: Lawrence Psychedelic Society.

• Oklahoma: Oklahoma Psychedelic Collective.

• Arkansas: Psychedelic Society of Arkansas (PSoAR)

And we welcome other groups we haven’t connected with yet! By sharing ideas, resources, legislation best practices, and conference support, PATH ensures that the “psychedelic ecosystem” of the Heartland remains strong and informed.

This book is the story of that investigation.

Bio

K. L. Sadler is a retired U.S. Diplomat and Supervisory Special Agent with the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service. Over a 26-year career as a sworn law enforcement officer and federal agent, she served in high-threat assignments across Iraq, Afghanistan, Uganda, Mexico, and El Salvador, where she received multiple Superior Honor Awards for leadership and crisis response. She began her law enforcement career as a police officer in St. Augustine, Florida.

Kemmi is the founder of Legalize the Divine, an initiative focused on thoughtful dialogue around conscience, spiritual freedom, and access to nature-based healing traditions, approached with care, responsibility, and respect for the law. She is also stewarding land in the Ozarks with the long-term intention of developing a small, land-based retreat focused on rest and recovery for those living with the invisible wounds of trauma.

In April 2026, Kemmi will walk the Camino de Santiago with her dog, Nona, in a pilgrimage called Nona’s Way, continuing her commitment to service beyond the badge while raising awareness surrounding the need for mental health and trauma recovery in the first responder community.

What this book is about

This is not really a book about psychedelics. It’s about what happens when the identity you built to survive stops making sense.

After twenty-six years in law enforcement and diplomatic security, I began confronting the grief, beliefs, and patterns I had carried for most of my life.

What followed wasn’t easy. But it was honest. And eventually, it led to clarity.

Board Member Resignations

Dear Arkansas Psychedelic Community,

As with any evolving group, changes in leadership can occur as people follow their own paths and perspectives. Our organization remains committed to education, safety, and risk reduction in psychedelic healing. And we are committed to transparency. This month, three of the eight founding directors of the Psychedelic Society of Arkansas resigned, leaving the board positions of Vice President & Director of Integration (Jessica Fitzmaurice), Secretary & Director of Community Partnerships (Jake Fitzmaurice), and Director of Community Outreach (Tia Wilson), vacant. Their letters cited personal reasons and capacity, governance concerns, and misalignment with the board’s direction and group dynamics. Jessica Fitzmaurice will continue her work with PSoAR Integration Circles as a volunteer.

As a result, we felt it necessary to cancel our April events to allow for some rest, reflection, and recalibration. We will reschedule the t-shirt tie-dying event for another month, and if you would like to celebrate Bicycle Day, drive on down to Little Rock where our Central Arkansas Chapter is hosting a celebration (more info below)!

In the meantime, we are focusing our efforts on continuing to refine our mission, process, and values.

Growing Our Community: New Eureka Springs Chapter

We’re excited to announce a new chapter is forming in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, led by Dr. Lisa Roark, MD.

Lisa is an Arkansas and Missouri-licensed physician whose practice has evolved from traditional family medicine into integrative healing and transformational leadership. A passionate advocate for patient-centered care, she played a key role in the legalization of medical cannabis in Missouri, and went on to open both a private direct primary care clinic and the state’s only female-owned dispensary at the time. Then, a profound personal health journey reshaped her work and calling, leading her to embrace a more expansive path as a healer, and to move to NW Arkansas. Dr. Roark weaves together expertise in lifestyle medicine, psychedelic therapy, herbalism, energy work, and transformational leadership. Her work is dedicated to creating intentional community spaces where healing, growth, and expanded consciousness can unfold. As a new Chapter Leader of the PSoAR, she is committed to fostering education, integration, and intentional community within the evolving psychedelic landscape.

Education in Action

In March, our Director of Education, Kelly Dundon, presented at the first annual Social Work Action Coalition (SWAC) conference in Little Rock.

Her talk, “Psychedelics and Our Clients: What Social Workers Need to Know to Educate, Empower and Reduce Harm,” offered a thoughtful and in-depth exploration of psychedelic substances, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and ethical considerations for professionals in the field.

The 90-minute session drew over 40 social workers and students, sparking meaningful dialogue and reflection. The level of engagement we saw is a strong signal of growing interest and momentum around psychedelic education in Arkansas.

Join the Psychedelic Society of Arkansas (PSoAR) for a community celebration of Bicycle Day — an important date in psychedelic history commemorating April 19, 1943, when Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann rode his bicycle home after intentionally experiencing the effects of LSD for the first time. That historic ride has become a symbol of curiosity, discovery, and community within psychedelic culture.

We’ll gather at Pedal It Forward at 3:00 PM.

• Head out for a relaxed (and decidedly sober) group ride on the Razorback Greenway Trail (this is a paved trail, easy for even the beginnerest of beginners)

The Space
The journey doesn’t end when the experience concludes—it begins when we bring those insights home. Join the Psychedelic Society of Arkansas (PSoAR) for our monthly Integration Circle. This month, we are gathering virtually via Google Meet to ensure our community across the Natural State can connect, reflect, and ground together from the comfort of home.

Integration is the essential process of “weaving the wisdom” gained in expanded states of consciousness into the fabric of our everyday lives. Whether you are navigating a recent experience, reflecting on a journey from years ago, or simply looking to learn from the shared stories of others, this circle is held for you.

What to Expect
We strive to create a “brave space” rooted in empathy, confidentiality, and peer support. Our flow typically includes:

Opening & Grounding: A brief guided breathwork or centering practice.

The Circle: An opportunity to share your experiences, challenges, or “aha” moments in a non-judgmental environment.

Reflective Listening: A time to witness others and offer supportive presence.

Closing: Practical grounding tools to carry with you.

PSoAR is a community-funded organization dedicated to providing safe spaces for exploration and healing. While donations are never required to attend, they are deeply appreciated. Your contributions help us cover platform costs, organize future community events, and keep these circles accessible to everyone in Arkansas.

Since we are meeting virtually, we invite you to create a small “sacred space” wherever you are:

• Environment: Find a quiet, private spot where you feel safe to speak openly.

• Tools: Have a journal and pen nearby to capture any insights.

• Presence: We encourage keeping cameras on to foster connection, but honor your comfort level.

Bluebird House Building Night & Potluck

Join PSoAR for an evening of community, creativity, and conservation as we gather to build bluebird houses — just in time to install them before nesting season begins.

In the spirit of our motto, “Make a little birdhouse in your soul,” we’ll spend the evening building homes for the beautiful bluebird featured in our logo — a symbol of renewal, hope, and stewardship.

We’re also honored to welcome a representative from the Bella Vista Bluebird Society, who will share about their local bluebird conservation efforts and how we can help support thriving bluebird populations in Northwest Arkansas.

Join the Psychedelic Society of Arkansas on April 19th from 3:00–6:00 PM for a Bicycle Day celebration at Pedal It Forward (3902 NW Wishing Spring Rd, Bentonville, AR 72712).

Bicycle Day commemorates April 19, 1943, when Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann intentionally experienced the effects of LSD for the first time and rode his bicycle home from his laboratory—an iconic moment in psychedelic history that has become a day of reflection, curiosity, and community within psychedelic culture.

🚲 We’ll circle up at Pedal It Forward, drop off our chili (in crockpots ideally) head out for a group ride, and return for a community Chili Cookoff. This will be a fundraiser with proceeds supporting PSoAR’s educational programming and outreach efforts.

It’s time to talk.

If you’ve been following recent local news out of Bentonville, you likely noticed that coverage of a recent arrest was largely straightforward and fact-based. Still, the headlines themselves emphasized alleged psychedelic use—specifically psilocybin, with mentions of ayahuasca, DMT, and what police reports described as “ceremonies.”

That emphasis matters.

While the reporting itself avoided speculation, the framing naturally shaped how the story traveled on social media. And what stood out to us most wasn’t backlash or fear—it was how many people responded with curiosity, nuance, and even support for psychedelic use. The comments revealed a community that is already grappling with questions far more complex than the headlines alone can convey.

When words like ceremonies and psychedelics appear in a police report, they raise important questions—whether or not they are fully explored in a news article. What does ceremonial use actually mean? How does religious or spiritual use of controlled substances fit into existing law? Where are the lines between religion, culture, public safety, and prohibition?

These are not hypothetical questions. Courts have been addressing them for decades, from peyote use in the Native American Church to federally recognized ayahuasca churches, to newer entheogenic communities navigating Religious Freedom Restoration Acts at both the state and federal level. The law in this area is real, evolving, and often poorly understood.

The recent Bentonville case has become a moment—less because of sensationalism, and more because it surfaced conversations that many people are already having quietly: about healing, spirituality, personal freedom, and the limits of current drug policy.

That is why we are hosting Psychedelics, Religion, and the Law: A Town Hall Discussion.

This event is not about analyzing an active case or defending any individual. It is about stepping back from the headlines and looking at the broader landscape:

• What the law actually says about religious use of psychedelics

• How courts have historically handled these claims

• Why ceremonial use cannot be reduced to a single narrative

• And how communities can engage these issues thoughtfully and responsibly

We believe our region is ready for a more informed, grounded conversation. In that spirit, we’ve invited public officials and members of law enforcement to attend and listen alongside community members.
