みなさんこんにちは、ぷにぷに電機です。

灼熱の台湾から帰国して、日本の暑さにちょっとだけ余裕を感じたり感じなかったり……とはいえ油断は禁物。水分補給となるべく無理せず酷暑を乗り越えたいところですね。

今回はお問い合わせたくさん頂いておりましたワンマンライブ「株主総会 2026 晩夏」の追加分抽選のお知らせがあります。若干数になりますが、どうぞふるってご応募ください。

ワンマンの他にも長瀬有花さんとのツーマン（こちらも既にかなり埋まっておりまして、お早めにです）、ぷに電初のジャズフェス！「かわさきジャズ2026」連携のイベント「REVERSE EDGE 2」にもバンドセットでお邪魔する予定です。これはおジャジーなやつをこれでもかとセトリに入れても良いということだよな！？　わくわく。

それから仙台「SLOW DRINK FESTIVAL」ではTaishi SatoくんとのDuoセット。Kan Sanoさんも出るしねえ、なんかやりたいねえ？　うふふ。どれも楽しくなりそうです。

お写真は台湾でのライブの様子。Billboard Live TAIPEIのみなさんには本当によくしていただいて、演奏も手応えがあり、一皮剥けそうな感じです。

Hello everyone, Punipunidenki here.

I’m back from scorching hot Taiwan, and somehow the heat in Japan feels just a tiny bit more manageable now... or maybe not. Either way, we can’t let our guard down. Let’s stay hydrated, take it easy when we can, and somehow make it through this intense summer heat.

This time, we have an announcement about an additional ticket lottery for our one man show, “Kabu nushi sokai 2026 Late Summer,” which we’ve received so many inquiries about. Only a small number of tickets will be available, but please give the lottery a try!

Besides the one man show, there’s also a two man show with Yuka Nagase. This one is already filling up quickly too, so don’t wait too long! And Puniden will be making a jazz festival debut at “REVERSE EDGE 2,” an event in collaboration with Kawasaki Jazz 2026, where we’ll be performing a full band set. Does this mean we can pack the setlist with as many jazzy tunes as we want!? I’m excited.

Then at SLOW DRINK FESTIVAL in Sendai, I’ll be performing a duo set with Taishi Sato. Kan Sano will be there too, you know. Maybe we should do something together? Hehehe. They all sound like they’re going to be a lot of fun.

The photos are from our live show in Taiwan. Everyone at Billboard Live TAIPEI took such wonderful care of us, and the performance itself felt really rewarding. It feels like we might be ready to level up a little.

For all the upcoming shows, I’ll keep doing my best without trying too hard! And I’ll keep doing my best without trying too hard at recording and DTM too!

“新凱旋門物語 - L’Inconnu De La Grande Arche - The Great Arch”

なーんも考えずふらっと映画館に行って丁度良い時間にやってる奴観る、みたいなやつで観たんですがかなり好きな映画でした。

前情報なしで凸ったのに、デンマーク語飛び交うフランス映画で、デンマーク大好き人間のぷに電には思いがけないご褒美でした。

これは実話に着想を得た映画でしたが、冒頭の注意書きにどの部分に脚色や創作をしたかが明らかにされていて、フィクションの意味やドキュメンタリーとの対比をよく考える昨今、良い取り組みだなと感じました。

あと主人公の妻役のシセ・バベット・クヌッセンはデンマークの政治ドラマ「コペンハーゲン 首相の決断」の主人公ビアギッテを演じている俳優さん。あまりにも好きすぎて悶絶してしまいました。

I saw this one on a whim. You know, when you just wander into a movie theater without thinking too much and watch whatever happens to be playing at the right time? It turned out to be a movie I really loved.

I went in knowing absolutely nothing about it, only to find myself watching a French film full of spoken Danish. As someone who absolutely loves Denmark, this was an unexpected treat.

The film was inspired by a true story, and at the beginning it clearly explains which parts have been dramatized or fictionalized. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what fiction means, especially in contrast to documentary, so I thought this was a really thoughtful approach.

Also, Sidse Babett Knudsen, who plays the protagonist’s wife, is the actress who played Birgitte in the Danish political drama “Borgen.” I love her so much that I nearly lost my mind when she appeared.

Highly recommended!

Our one man show is almost here! Tickets had already sold out, but a very limited number of additional tickets will be available through a lottery on ZAIKO. Applications will be open from Sunday, August 23 at 10:00 AM until Wednesday, August 26 at 10:00 PM. Winners are scheduled to receive an email from ZAIKO at around 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 27.

Punipunidenki will perform with a full band set. As this will be our first jazz festival appearance, we’re planning a special set for the occasion! Also performing are Bucket Drummer MASA and Tamaki ROY.

This special show is presented in collaboration with the Kawasaki city music festival Kawasaki Jazz 2026, co hosted by the Ongaku no Machi Kawasaki Executive Committee, as well as the urban festival KAWASAKI FESTIVAL.

The venue, SUPERNOVA KAWASAKI, is powered by renewable electricity supplied by Kawasaki Mirai Energy, and REVERSE EDGE is a music event built around themes including decarbonization, resource circulation, and renewable energy.

Message from Puniden

みなさんこんにちは、ぷにぷに電機です。酷い暑さですがご無事ですか。

わたしはというと日課のお散歩を暑さのために控えているのでちょっぴりしょんぼりな日々ですが、夏野菜とか美味しいし、さっぱりした白ワインがよく合うし、なんてったって冷えた生ビールは最高ですから、あまり落ち込まずこの夏を楽しみたいところです。夏限定で出てくる色んな冷やし麺とかもね、美味しいし楽しいよね。カラフルでさ。

お写真は先日信州にお伺いしたときのものです。海もいいけど山もいいよね。川も湖も良い。夏の緑はあまりにも濃くて、稜線は美しく圧倒されました。山、でかすぎる。たっぷりとネイチャーをチャージしてきました。

みなさんにもきっと夏のちいさな喜びがあることかと思いますので、共になんとか乗り切りましょう。

さて！　そんな季節に新曲『Tururu』が出ることになりました。

6月にスウェーデンからPikesが遊びにきて、よっしゃセッションでもするか！と遊びがてらやってみたらめちゃくちゃ良い曲が出来ちゃったので、そのバイブスのまま友人で写真家の宮本七生ちゃんに連絡して、これまた仲良しでACRのMVにもご出演頂いたまふゆちゃん（from 石の民）も誘ってジャケット撮影へ。撮影ももちろんですが何よりも初夏の海を大満喫してしまいました。結果、気張らず、背伸びせず、わたしたちらしい気楽さのあるこれぞインディー！という作品に仕上がりました。

超カッコつけて書く都会的な曲もいいけど、今はなんだかラフなのが心地よいみたいです。これまでにあまりやってこなかったタイプの曲なのですが、きっと皆さんにも楽しんでいただけるんじゃないかと思います。頑張りすぎず、楽しんでやっていきましょう。

Hello everyone, Punipunidenki here. It’s been incredibly hot lately. I hope you’re all doing okay.

I’ve had to cut back on my daily walks because of the heat, which has been a little disappointing. But on the bright side, summer vegetables are delicious, crisp white wine tastes even better this time of year, and nothing beats an ice cold draft beer. So I’m doing my best to enjoy the season instead of letting the heat get me down. I also love all the chilled noodle dishes that only seem to appear in summer. They’re colorful, refreshing, and just plain fun.

The photos were taken during a recent trip to Shinshu. The beach is wonderful, but there’s something special about the mountains too. Rivers, lakes, I love them all. The summer greenery was unbelievably vibrant, and the mountain ridgelines were so beautiful they left me speechless. The mountains felt absolutely enormous. It was the perfect chance to recharge with a healthy dose of nature.

I’m sure each of you has your own little joys that come with summer, so let’s all do our best to get through it together.

Now then, I have a new song called “Tururu” coming out!

Pikes came over from Sweden in June, and we thought, “Why not have a jam session?” We started playing around just for fun, and somehow ended up writing a song we absolutely loved. Riding that wave of inspiration, I reached out to my friend, photographer Nanami Miyamoto, and invited my good friend Mafuyu from Ishino Tami, who also appeared in the music video for “ACR,” to join us for the cover shoot. The photos turned out great, of course, but more than anything, we had an amazing time enjoying the early summer beach together. The result is a record that feels completely true to us. Relaxed, unpretentious, and unmistakably indie.

I still love writing polished, urban sounding songs, but lately I’ve found myself drawn to something a little rougher around the edges. It’s a style I haven’t explored very often before, but I have a feeling you’ll enjoy it too. Let’s not push ourselves too hard. Let’s just have fun.

“BEASTRO（ビーストロ）”

大好きなレストラン経営系のインディーゲーム。

キャラクターは個性的でおしゃれな動物さんたちで、世界観は穏やかようでどことなく影のある雰囲気。脚本がなかなかに詩的でめちゃくちゃ良いです。

レストラン経営のターンと、冒険のターンとに分かれていて、前者は簡単なアクションゲームやパズルゲーム、後者はカードゲーム風といったように様々なジャンルがミックスされています。今っぽいな〜！

空調をいれて、コーヒーを淹れて、料理したり釣りしたり。癒しタイムにぴったりでしたのでおすすめします。

I’ve been completely hooked on this indie restaurant management game.

The cast is made up of stylish and charming animal characters, and while the world feels peaceful, there’s also a subtle sense of mystery beneath the surface. The writing is surprisingly poetic, which I absolutely love.

The gameplay alternates between running your restaurant and going on adventures. The restaurant sections mix simple action and puzzle mechanics, while the adventure sections play more like a card game. It’s such a fun blend of genres and feels very modern.

You turn on the air conditioning, brew coffee, cook, go fishing, and just settle into a wonderfully relaxing rhythm. It was the perfect way to unwind, so I highly recommend it.

これまで『Star Runner』や『Optimistique』などを一緒に制作してきた友人のPikesが東京に来たときに作った楽曲で、最高な夏！にぴったりのインディーポップとなっています。友達と浜辺で石を拾うMVもYouTubeで公開予定です！

Punipunidenki and Swedish artist Pikes will release their new single, “Tururu,” on Wednesday, July 29, 2026!

The song was written when longtime collaborator Pikes, who previously worked together with Punipunidenki on “Star Runner” and “Optimistique,” visited Tokyo. The result is an indie pop track that’s perfect for summer.

A music video featuring everyone collecting stones on the beach will also stream on YouTube.

みなさんこんにちは、ぷにぷに電機です。夏、始まりましたね。

7月からのアニメ『コアラ絵日記』さんの夏の新主題歌に、『虹と』のやさしい夏ver.を制作しました。夏といえばラテンやろー！ということでKan Sanoさんにお願いしてみたところ、柔らかくて可愛い、なんとも新鮮な感じの『虹と やさしい夏ver.』が誕生しました。これは『コアラ絵日記』だからこその雰囲気だなぁと、大変満足で、ボーカルもそれに合わせてキュートめに歌い直して、新しい夏の訪れを感じています。実質今夜リリース！　みんなでチャカポコしましょ。

つづいて、最近髪の毛を切ったせいなのか？かなりトーンを変えた新曲も今月の終わり頃には飛び出しそうです。ゆるくて、爽やかで、でもちょっと切なくて、DIY的なざらっとした質感の良い曲です。こんなのもさ、良いじゃん。てな感じでお楽しみ頂けると思いますので、もう少しお待ちくださいね。

Hello everyone, Punipunidenki here. Summer has officially begun, hasn’t it?

Starting this July, Koala’s Diary will have a new summer theme song, Niji to Yasashii Natsu ver. When I think of summer, I think of Latin music, so I asked Kan Sano if he’d be interested in giving Niji to a summery makeover. The result is something soft, sweet, and surprisingly fresh. It feels like a version that could only exist because of Koala’s Diary. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

I also re-recorded the vocals with a cuter, gentler approach to match the new arrangement, and it genuinely feels like the arrival of a new summer. By the time you’re reading this, it’s practically release day, so let’s all enjoy a little “chaka-poko” summer groove together.

Speaking of new music, maybe it’s because I cut my hair recently, but I’ve also ended up making a song that’s quite different in tone from my recent releases. It’s relaxed, refreshing, a little bittersweet, and has a rough, DIY-style texture that I really love. Sometimes a song can simply make you think, “You know what? This is nice.” I’m hoping you’ll feel the same when it arrives later this month, so please stay tuned a little longer.

There have been so many exciting things happening lately, and I’m both grateful and a little overwhelmed. Thank you so much for selling out my upcoming one-man show! For those who missed out, there’s a chance that a very limited number of additional tickets may become available next month. If that happens, newsletter subscribers will be among the first to hear about it, so I hope you’ll stay with us. We’ll also share any updates on social media.

And for those of you nearby in Taiwan, or looking for an excuse to visit, I’ll be performing at Billboard Live Taipei on August 9. A summer trip to Taipei followed by a Punipunidenki show sounds pretty nice, doesn’t it? We may even be holding my very first autograph session there, so I’d love to see you if you can make it.

まずは第二回になります「ぷにぷに電機 ワンマンライブ 株主総会」！　前回よりチケット増えましたので、ふるってご参加下さい。

最初からかなり相性の良かった我々のバンドは回数を重ねるたびにかなりいい感じで、ワンマンまでにこのバンドでなにかいい感じのやつ（何とは言いませんが…）がお届けできればいいなぁと、色々企てております。こちらも是非ご期待ください。

他にもPARKGOLFさんとのビコビコハイパーポップをSEGAさんの神ゲー『ぷよぷよ』の35周年記念ソングを提供させていただいたり、それ神ゲーだよって言われてたのに何故か未だ手を出していなかった『Slay the Spire』を漸くプレイしてまんまとどハマりしたりと、ゲームの神様に愛されて嬉しいわたしです。月末出演のトークイベントではこの辺語り尽くしたいな。

お写真は、先日HOME/WORK VILLAGEで行われた日本初のPodcastカンファレンス『PODCAST EXPO 2026』で遊んでいる私です。『ワインの輪』さんのブースでおすすめのワインを頂いちゃいました！　色んなPodcast番組が知れて良かったなぁ楽しかったなぁ。ナレーションも頑張りました。また次回も楽しみに！

Hello everyone, this is Punipunidenki.

It’s been a while since the last Punipunidenki Newsletter. Quite a few exciting updates have piled up, so this edition is packed with news. I hope you’ll enjoy reading all the way to the end!

First up is the second edition of “Punipunidenki One-Man Live: Kabunushi Sokai - Shareholders’ Meeting.” We’ve increased the ticket capacity compared to last time, so we’d love to see as many of you there as possible.

This band clicked together from day one, and with every rehearsal and performance, the chemistry keeps getting better. With the show still a few months away, there may even be something special from this lineup in the works. Please stay tuned!

Aside from that, I had the pleasure of creating a bleepy, hyperpop-filled song with PARKGOLF to celebrate the 35th anniversary of SEGA’s legendary game series Puyo Puyo. And after months of people telling me, “You have to play this game,” I finally started Slay the Spire and immediately became completely obsessed. Apparently the gaming gods have been very kind to me lately. I’ll be talking plenty about all of that at an upcoming talk event later this month.

The photos are from Japan’s first-ever podcast conference, PODCAST EXPO 2026! I stopped by the Wine no Wa booth and got to enjoy a wonderful wine recommendation. It was so much fun discovering all kinds of podcast shows and meeting people from the podcast community. I also worked hard on the event narration, so it was especially rewarding to be part of it. Looking forward to the next one already!

I feel like I could play this game a million more times.

Slay the Spire 2 was released in March, but I’m deliberately starting with the original and taking my time. Highly recommended!

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the beloved game series Puyo Puyo, the commemorative song “Punitto Puyopuyo” will be released digitally on May 27, 2026!

The track is packed with Puyopuyo references, game music influences, and hyperpop energy. The arrangement was produced by PARKGOLF, and the cover artwork was created by the amazing Kae Tanaka.

On top of that, choreographer Sako Makita, known for creating the dance for “Sugisugite Metsu!” by M!LK, has created an official “Puyopuyo Dance” for the song. Give it a try and dance along!

皆さんこんにちは、ご機嫌いかがですか？　お花見しましたか？　今年の桜も綺麗です。

先日はワンマンライブ「株主総会 2026 春」へお越しくださいまして有難うございました！　お陰様で無事、大盛況のもと閉幕致しました。残念ながらご都合合いませんでした皆さんも日頃の応援に心より感謝しております。会場で少しお話ししましたが、株主総会、また企んでおります。今度はもう少しチケットの枚数に余裕が出るよう取り計らっておりますので、是非お楽しみに。

そんな大変だっけど楽しかったワンマンが終わって少し呆けて居たのですが、本来は呆けて居られないスケジュールであったことに気付いて戦々恐々としている今日です。

新曲『学芸大前』お聴きいただけましたか。どうですか。シンカン電（Shin Sakiura, Kan Sano, ぷにぷに電機）のトリプルコラボ！　とても良い曲です！　まだお聞きでない方は至急アクセス願います。

実は、今回MVの監督編集もやらせて頂いたのですが、Kan Sanoさん、Shin Sakiuraくんのようなおしゃれで雰囲気のある方は一体普段どんなところでご飯食べてるんだろう？と妄想した結果を、これでもかと詰め込みました。Kan Sanoさんはお休みの日はオレンジワインを飲みながらワインの歴史についての本をお読みになり、Shin Sakiuraくんはレモンサワーを飲みながら新しいヘッドホンの音質チェックをされるそうです（注：私の妄想です）。良いですよね。かっこいい。

それから撮影にご協力頂きましたPARLOR OKUMURAさん、素敵なレストランなのでおすすめです。美味しいクラフトビール、ワイン、そして奥村さんの激ウマ料理が頂けます。大胆かつ繊細にジャンルを超越するフュージョン料理。ぷに電は鯖のバーベキューにフレッシュなトマトやハーブのソースが掛かったやつが大好物ですが、夜10時からこっそり食べられる沖縄そばも悶絶するほど美味しいです。株主総会楽屋打ち上げのケータリングも奥村さんに作って頂いたのですが、マカロニチーズが秒で消えてました。私まだ一口しか食べてなかったのに！（涙）

皆さんも機会がございましたら、そんなイケてる美味しいお店がいっぱいの学芸大学駅周辺に遊びに行って下さいませ。

花粉もすこし落ち着き、過ごしやすい日々です。皆さんもどうぞ健やかに！　それではまた。

Hello everyone, how are you doing? Have you gone cherry blossom viewing yet? The sakura are beautiful again this year.

Thank you so much for coming to our one-man live show “Shareholder Meeting 2026 Spring.” Thanks to you, it was a great success and we were able to wrap it up safely. For those who couldn’t make it, we truly appreciate your continued support as always. As I briefly mentioned at the venue, we’re already planning the next Shareholder Meeting. We’re working to make more tickets available next time, so please look forward to it.

After such an intense but fun show, I found myself spacing out for a bit… only to realize I actually don’t have time to be spacing out at all. That’s where I am right now.

Have you listened to our new song “Gakugeidai-mae”? What do you think? It’s a triple collaboration by Shin-kan-den (Shin Sakiura, Kan Sano, and Punipunidenki). It’s a really great track. If you haven’t heard it yet, please go check it out right away.

I also directed and edited the music video this time. While working on it, I kept wondering what kind of places stylish, effortlessly cool people like Kan Sano and Shin Sakiura usually go to eat. The result of that imagination is packed into the video as much as possible. In my imagination, Kan Sano spends his days off drinking orange wine while reading books about the history of wine, and Shin Sakiura enjoys lemon sours while checking the sound quality of new headphones. (Disclaimer: purely my imagination.) Nice, right? Very cool.

Also, a big thank you to PARLOR OKUMURA for letting us film there. It’s a wonderful restaurant that I highly recommend. You can enjoy great craft beer, wine, and incredibly delicious dishes by Okumura-san.

Their cuisine boldly and delicately crosses genres. I personally love the mackerel barbecue with fresh tomato and herb sauce, and the Okinawa soba they quietly serve after 10pm is unbelievably good. They also handled the catering for our backstage afterparty at the Shareholder Meeting, and the mac and cheese disappeared in seconds. I only got one bite. (Crying.)

If you ever have the chance, please visit the Gakugeidai area, there are so many cool and delicious spots to explore.

The pollen season has calmed down a bit, and the weather is getting more comfortable. Take care and stay well. See you soon.

“株 Kabu IPA / 学芸大前 Gakugeidai-mae Session IPA”

最早ライフワークなコラボビール制作！　今回は新曲『学芸大前』コラボのSession IPA、アルバム『株』コラボのAmerican IPAのご紹介です。どちらもホップをふんだんに使ったIndiana Pale Ale、略してIPAではあるのですが、性格は全く異なります。

作品のコンセプトをビールのレシピに落とし込むのは醸造士の小針明日克さん。

『学芸大前』はヒップで洒落たふたりの始まりかけのラブソング。というわけで度数は抑えめで華やかでフルーティー、だけどやっぱりほろ苦いフレッシュなSession IPAに。

『株』は生物的多様性をたっぷり孕んだ湿った森の空気。青々とした印象的な口当たりの向こうに、柑橘の皮を思わせる余韻の長い果実味が現れ……そんな飲みごたえのあるAmerican IPAです。

どちらも限定醸造品となりますので、是非この機会にゲットしてください！

My collaboration beer project has practically become a life’s work at this point.

This time, I'm introducing the Session IPA inspired by my new song “Gakugeidai-mae,” and the American IPA inspired by the album Kabu. Both are IPAs made with plenty of hops, but their characters are completely different.

The recipes are crafted by brewer Asuka Kohari, who translates each work’s concept into beer form.

“Gakugeidai-mae” is a hip, stylish love song about a relationship just beginning. So the beer is a light, vibrant, and fruity Session IPA, with a refreshing bitterness.

“Kabu” evokes a humid forest filled with biodiversity. It starts with a vivid, green impression, followed by a lingering fruitiness reminiscent of citrus peel, a rich and satisfying American IPA.

Both are limited brews, so don’t miss your chance to try them.

Webアニメ『コアラ絵日記』の主題歌が春バージョン『虹と Piano ver.』となって、2026年4月3日（金）にデジタルリリースします。

『虹と Piano ver.』は、Webアニメ『コアラ絵日記』の2026年4〜6月主題歌で、Kan Sanoさんをフィーチャリングに迎えた楽曲『虹と』を、ボーカルを録り直して、ピアノアレンジに再構築しました。原曲のハートフルな切なさはそのままに、思い出と新しい気持ちがやさしく重なり合う春の一曲になりましたので、オリジナルバージョンの『虹と』や『虹と Swing ver.』とも聴き比べてみてね。

The theme song for the web anime Koala’s Diary returns in its spring version, “Niji to Piano ver.”, set for digital release on Friday, April 3, 2026.

“Niji to Piano ver.” will serve as the theme song for the April to June 2026 season of Koala’s Diary. This version reimagines the original track “Niji to,” featuring Kan Sano, with newly recorded vocals and a piano-based arrangement. While preserving the heartfelt and bittersweet tone of the original, it gently layers memories and new emotions, making it a perfect song for spring. Webアニメ『コアラ絵日記』は4月2日（木）から新シーズンが配信開始となり、アニメの魅力を深掘りするスペシャル動画「ちょっと語りたいコアラ絵日記」も公開中です。『コアラ絵日記』の全てのキャラクターボイスを担当する内田彩さん、原作のゆあみ先生が『コアラ絵日記』に関するゲストを迎えてお届けする番組で、ファン代表としてウェザーニュースキャスターの駒木結衣さん、アニメパートでは監督の加戸誉夫さんとキャラクターデザインの原千遥さん、音楽パートではぷに電も登場します。

The new season of Koala Enikki begins streaming on April 2. A special video series, “Small Talk about Koala’s Diary,” is also now available, offering a deeper look into the anime. Hosted by Aya Uchida, who voices all characters, and original creator Yuami, the program features various guests discussing the series. Appearances include weather news caster Yui Komaki as a fan representative, as well as director Takao Kato and character designer Chiharu Hara in the animation segment. The collaboration beer “Kabu IPA” with KUNITACHI BREWERY, which was also previewed at our recent “Shareholder Meeting,” is now officially available. This marks the third installment in our Kuniburu collaboration series, following “Gakugeidai-mae Session IPA.”

Inspired by the concept of Punipunidenki’s second album Kabu, this IPA offers a gently expanding, grassy flavor reminiscent of greenery and fresh growth. A bottle set with “Gakugeidai-mae” is also available on the KUNITACHI BREWERY official shop.

大新曲がでます！やったー！　Kan SanoさんとShin Sakiuraくんとのトリプルコラボ「学芸大前」という曲です。多分きっかけは私とShinくんが出演したイベントにKanさんが来てくれて、楽屋で「三人で曲作りたいね」って話したことだったと思う。ちょっと前の話。ほんとに！？て嬉しびっくりだったです私。

で、打ち合わせと称してご飯いこー！となり、私が前のめりでご飯会の日の朝にデモを作っちゃったのでした。だってShinくんやKanさんみたいなお洒落なひとには学芸大駅あたりでご飯食べてて欲しいもん。なあ？

Hi everyone, this is Punipunidenki.

A huge new song is on the way. Yay! It’s a triple collaboration with Kan Sano and Shin Sakiura called “Gakugeidai-mae.” I think it all started when Kan-san came to an event where Shin-kun and I were performing. Backstage, we casually said, “We should make a song together.” It was a little while ago. I remember being so happy!

Then we were like, let’s have a meeting over dinner. And for some reason, I got a little too excited and ended up making a demo on the morning of the dinner. I mean, stylish people like Shin-kun and Kan-san just belong having dinner around Gakugei-Daigaku Station, don’t you think?

That slightly out of control demo version of “Gakugeidai-mae” was thankfully loved by both of them. Kan-san added his vocal part, Shin-kun built a dazzling, beautiful track, and our usual member Shintaro Sato gave it a smooth mix. Before we knew it, it had turned into something really special. Everyone is just so good at what they do. We’re also working hard on the music video and collaboration beer right now, so please look forward to the release.

The pollen is already in the air, so I guess it’s spring. As the seasons change, please take good care of yourselves.

LPレコード『創業（リプレス）』＆『株』が発売されました。主要レコード店では品薄で店頭在庫のみとなっているところもあるようですが、ぷに電オフィシャルショップではまだまだ買えますので、一家に一枚ぜひ。

The LP records “SOGYO (repress)” and “Kabu” are now on sale. Thankfully, they seem to be selling well, and some major record stores are already low on stock and down to in-store copies only. But you can still grab them from the Puniden official shop, so make sure to have at least one in your home.

それと、「君はQueen」のロゴをあしらったパーカーとスウェットを復刻発売しました！　スウェットはビッグシルエットになっておりまして、かなりゆったりサイズです。ぷに電もプライベートで愛用するほど良い感じのスェット＆パーカーとなっておりますので、合わせてチェックしてみてください。

In just one month, my one man live show is finally happening! Tickets are already sold out, which I’m so grateful for, but we’re planning to release a small number of additional tickets by lottery through Zaiko. The lottery will run from March 1 at 10:00 AM to March 4 at 10:00 PM, with results announced on March 5 at 12:00 PM noon. We’ll also post about it on X and Instagram, so if you’re interested, keep an eye out.

皆さんこんにちは、ぷにぷに電機です。

年が明けてからも怒涛の毎日で目が回りそうですが、おかげさまで元気にやっています。今年もよろしくお願いします。

久々のバンドセット。ライブのリハーサルに明け暮れた今月末でしたが、メンバーの演奏力の高さで長時間のリハーサルも楽しくて楽しくて。彼らの素晴らしいソロなどを皆さんにも早く聴いてほしいくらいです！

その合間を縫って先日鹿児島は霧島へお友達に会いに出かけてきました。山々は素晴らしく、小川も清水をたたえ、すっかりチャージできました。お写真は壺発酵の黒酢づくりを見に行ったときのもの。酢ってなんだか体に良い気がする味しませんか？　体に良い気がしてお酢のドリンクなどをお土産に買って日々ちまちま飲んでいます。酸〜！　と、ちゃっかり2泊もしたのにあまりに楽し過ぎて体感滞在時間3時間くらいでした（涙）楽しい時間はあっという間！

そしてそして、2026年がスタートしますが新曲は大変景気の良いネオソウル・チューンです！　その名も”Venus!”　うーん、ゴージャスな香りがしますね。LAのoksami と縁あってコラボすることになったのですがかなーり相性良くてすんなりとクオリティ高い楽曲に仕上がりました。実はこれまでコーラス（ハモり）を沢山入れ込むことをしてこなかったのですが、こちらでは珍しくわんさか入れてみました。R&Bとはまた少し違った、ソウルの質感が出てるのではないかと思います！　是非お楽しみに。

Hello everyone, this is Punipunidenki.

Even after the new year began, the days have been nonstop and a little dizzying, but thanks to all of you, I’mm doing well and staying energized. I look forward to sharing another great year with you.

It has been a while since I last worked with a full band set. I spent the end of this month immersed in live rehearsals, and thanks to the incredible skill of the band members, even long rehearsal sessions were pure joy. I can’t wait for you to hear their amazing solos and performances.

In between rehearsals, I recently took a short trip to Kirishima in Kagoshima to visit some friends. The mountains were beautiful, the streams were filled with clear water, and I felt completely recharged. The photo is from a visit to see traditional jar fermented black vinegar being made. Does vinegar not somehow taste like it is good for your body? I felt that way, so I bought some vinegar drinks as souvenirs and have been sipping them little by little every day. So sour. I ended up staying for two nights, but it was so much fun that it felt like I was only there for about three hours. Time really does fly when you are having a good time.

And now, as 2026 gets underway, I’m excited to share a brand new song that is a very upbeat and luxurious Neo Soul tune. It is called “Venus!” Just the name alone feels glamorous. I had the chance to collaborate with LA based producer oksami, and our chemistry was surprisingly strong. The song came together smoothly and turned into a high quality track. Until now, I have not used many layered backing vocals, but this time I went all in and added plenty of harmonies. I think it brings out a soulful texture that feels a little different from straight R&B. I hope you are looking forward to it.

Our two man live show with 7co is happening this weekend at last. Punipunidenki will perform with a newly formed Band Set for the first time in about two years, featuring jazz guitarist Alan Kwan. The rest of the band members are all incredible players as well, and everything is coming together beautifully. Our March 21 one man show is already sold out, so if you want to catch the Punipunidenki band live, this is the show to see.

On the day of the show, we plan to bring our newly redesigned “My Queen” sweatshirts and hoodies to the merch booth. The sweatshirts come in green and black, available only in an extra-oversized L size. The hoodies are available in L and XL, in black only. They will also be available later through our official online shop, so be sure to take a look.

駆け抜けた2025年でしたが、急には止まれず2026年も沢山の楽しい企てがありますので引き続きお付き合い下さいませ。

新体制おJazzyバンドセットやレコードの発売など時代を遡ったような活動の一方、海外アーティストとのオンラインコラボやタイアップ、新ジャンルの謎プロデュース企画など……どうなるかな？　わくわく。

そんなこんなでお知らせ盛りだくさんなぷにぷに通信第7号です。みなさんにとっても楽しく幸多き一年になること、こころより願っております。

2025 flew by at full speed, and without slowing down, we’re heading straight into 2026—with plenty of exciting plans ahead. We hope you’ll continue to join us on the journey.

While we’re diving into somewhat time-traveling activities like a newly reformed jazzy band set and vinyl releases, we’re also exploring online collaborations with overseas artists, tie-ins, and mysterious new-genre production projects… Who knows what will happen? It’s all very exciting.

“虹と - Nijito Swing ver. ” January 9 OUT!

Webアニメ『コアラ絵日記』の主題歌が新バージョン『虹と Swing ver.』となって、2026年1月9日（金）にデジタルリリースします。

『虹と Swing ver.』は、Webアニメ『コアラ絵日記』（原作：ゆあみ）の2026年1〜3月主題歌で、Kan Sanoさんをフィーチャリングに迎えた楽曲『虹と』を、冬らしいスウィングジャズのアレンジで再構築したものです。前作と同じくKan Sanoさんが編曲を担当し、軽快で温もりのあるスウィングのリズムにあわせて、ボーカルを新たに録音しました！　原曲が持つハートフルな切なさはそのままに、冬の楽しい装いをまとった一曲です。

Webアニメ『コアラ絵日記』は1月8日（木）から新シーズンがスタートしました。原作コミックスも第5弾まで刊行中です。アニメとコミックスと一緒に聴いてね。

The theme song for the web anime Koala’s Diary will be released in a brand-new version, “Nijito (Swing ver.)”, on Friday, January 9, 2026, as a digital single.

“Nijito (Swing ver.)” serves as the theme song for Koala’s Diary from January to March 2026. It is a wintery swing jazz reimagining of “Nijito,” originally featuring Kan Sano. As with the previous version, Kan Sano handled the arrangement, and the vocals were newly recorded to match the light, warm swing rhythm. While preserving the heartfelt bittersweetness of the original, the song is dressed in a joyful winter outfit.

A new season of the web anime Koala’s Diary began on January 8, and the original comic series is now published up to Volume 5. Please enjoy the music alongside both the anime and the comics.

Punipunidenki’s first album Sogyo has been repressed on vinyl, and the second album Kabu is also being released on vinyl!
For Sogyo, we changed the paper and printing process for the jacket, resulting in a finish that is closer to the original artwork’s colors and texture than the first pressing. Both records are now available for pre-order!

アムステルダムアンダーグラウンドダークテクノで異彩を放つBloody Boyによるハウスリミックス。原曲「サンシャイン・ベイ」が収録されたEP『フリークエンシー・イン・ブルー』のジャケット同様、イラストはF*Kaori先生の描き下ろし。聴き比べてみてね。

A house remix by Bloody Boy, who stands out in the Amsterdam underground dark techno scene. As with the EP Frequency in Blue, which includes the original song “Sunshine Bay,” the illustration was newly drawn by F*Kaori. Try listening and comparing both versions!

A night-time Tokyo house track created together with Bård from Oslo. Featuring cool rap verses and suisoh-chan. The jacket and music video were produced by Kagami’s team, with animator Kengo Saito also joining the project.

みなさんこんにちは、ぷにぷに電機です。お陰様で『株』、ご好評いただいており、ありがたい限りです。さて、今回は個人的にどっこいしょ！という感じのお知らせがあります。

まず、大変嬉しいことに2ndベストアルバム『株』の12㌅レコードが発売決定となりました。いえい。

それに伴い、ついにワンマンライブというものをやってみることにしました。どっこいしょ！

私はあまり人前に立つのが得意でなく、ゆえに当初はインターネッツに音楽を放り投げることを主として活動してきました。これまでは“音楽を作る能力”と“人前で上手くパフォーマンスする能力”は全く別物なのに、さも当然のことかのようにライブを求められることに怯え、ワンマンというワンマンから逃げ回ってきたのですが、人間の順応性とは驚くべきもので、なんと近年「やってみるかぁ、ワンマン…」と思うまでに至りました。

それもこれも、長年沢山の方にライブにお越しいただき、みなさんに暖かい海のような目で見守っていただいたからだと思います。陸地で肺呼吸できるようになった原始の海洋生物もこんな気持ちだったんでしょうか。本当に驚くべきことです。

そんなわけで、初のワンマンライブ「ぷにぷに電機 株主総会 2026春」は新体制のバンドセットでお送りします。実直に音楽を楽しんでいただけるステージになると思います。楽器、めっちゃ音良いです。奮ってお越しくださいね。

他にも肺呼吸できるようになったからか私にいろんな変化が起きているのですが、それはまた別の機会に。感謝と愛を込めて！

・今回のおすすめコンテンツ『ダニッチの怪　ラヴクラフト傑作集』（ビームコミックス）田辺剛

クトゥルフ神話の元祖P.H.ラヴクラフトによる小説のコミカライズ作品です。いあ！いあ！　SFホラーなので苦手な方は避けてください。でもお好きな方には薦めるまでもないのか…？　まぁ、敢えての王道を共に往きましょう。

読みにくいのですが読みにくいことに意味があるというか、個人的に初めてラヴクラフトを読んだ時の感触に一番近しいコミカライズだと思いました。

「ダニッチ」の他にも「インスマウス」や「呼び声」など定番のラヴクラフトが漫画で読めちゃって、こんなにしていただいて宜しいのでしょうか！？！？！？と感謝の気持ちが止まりません。ありがとう田辺剛先生、ありがとうコミックビーム編集部。良い漫画はいつもビームから、だよね。

素晴らしい見開きが多用されているので紙の本か、デジタルでは必ず見開き設定をオンにして読んでくださいネ。

Hello everyone, this is Punipunidenki.

I am deeply grateful for all the love and support you have given to my second best album “Kabu.” It means so much to me. And this time, I have some news that feels like a big “Dokkoisho!” moment for me personally.

First, I am very happy to announce that the 12-inch vinyl edition of “Kabu” has been confirmed for release. Yay.

To celebrate this, I have also decided to finally hold a solo live concert. “Dokkoisho!”

I have never been very good at standing in front of people. That is why, at the beginning, I focused mainly on releasing music into the internet instead of performing live. For a long time, I was afraid of the unspoken expectation that “if you can make music, of course you can perform it live,” even though the ability to create and the ability to perform are completely different skills. So I kept running away from the idea of doing a one-person show.

But human adaptability is truly amazing. In recent years, I have somehow reached the point of thinking, “Maybe it’s time to try it. A solo show, huh.”

I owe that entirely to all of you who have come to see my live performances over the years, and who have watched over me with such kind and gentle eyes. Perhaps this is what ancient sea creatures felt like when they first learned to breathe on land. It really is something incredible.

So, my very first solo live show, “Punipunidenki Shareholders’ Meeting 2026 Spring,” will feature a brand-new band lineup. It will be a stage where you can simply enjoy the music as it is. The instruments sound amazing. I hope you will come and join us.

・This Issue’s Recommendation “The Dunwich Horror: Lovecraft Masterpieces”
by Go Tanabe (Beam Comics)

This is a manga adaptation of stories by H. P. Lovecraft, the originator of the Cthulhu Mythos. Ia! Ia! If you are not into sci-fi horror, you might want to skip this one, but if you are, you probably don’t need me to recommend it. Let’s walk together down this well-trodden classic path anyway.

It is not an easy read, but that difficulty gives it meaning. Personally, it comes closest to the feeling I had when I first read Lovecraft’s original works.

Besides The Dunwich Horror, you can also read classic stories like The Shadow over Innsmouth and The Call of Cthulhu in manga form. I almost feel guilty for being allowed to enjoy so much. Thank you, Tanabe-sensei, and thank you, Comic Beam editorial team. The best manga always come from Beam, don’t they?

Since the manga makes brilliant use of two-page spreads, please read it in the physical book if you can, or make sure to turn on the “two-page view” setting if you are reading digitally.

Punipunidenki’s second album “Kabu” will be released on analog vinyl. The album includes collaborations such as “Midnight China Blue” with Kan Sano, the streaming hit “your room” with our beloved Mikeneko Homeless, and “an ocean”, beautifully arranged by Sara Wakui.

Punipunidenki’s first and best album “Sogyo” will also be repressed on analog LP. The record features 2020s-style city pop favorites such as “My Queen” and “Zurukunai?”, along with a full lineup of killer tracks that have become streaming hits.

An all-star cast of artists participated in the album, including 80KIDZ, Kan Sano, Mikeneko Homeless, Shin Sakiura, PARKGOLF, and Yohji Igarashi, delivering ten tracks that effortlessly cross genres from pop and jazz to city pop and electronic music.
The stunning artwork was created by painter Hoshiki Ara and designer Yusuke Shibata of soda design.

Both vinyl editions, “Kabu” and “Sogyo,” will be released on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Pre-orders start on December 9, 2025, via the Tuff Beats online store and at record shops nationwide.

To celebrate these vinyl releases, Punipunidenki will hold a live event with a full band set at Shimokitazawa ADRIFT. Tickets go on sale at 18:00 on December 9, 2025, via Zaiko.

The live band features a lineup of world-class musicians:
Alan Kwan, an award-winning Hong Kong–born guitarist with numerous international honors and nominations;
Takeru Yamazaki, keyboardist and former bandmaster for Nulbarich;
and Shintaro Imamura, a drummer who has performed and recorded with artists such as Aimyon and mabanua.
It is truly an amazing group of players.

In addition to the live performance, the event will feature vinyl sales, special merchandise, and even a collaboration craft beer. Do not miss it!

みなさんこんにちは。あったかコートの圧迫感に早くもハンガーラックが崩壊しそうなぷに電です。最近はヴィンテージの柄シャツ以外にはあまり服を増やしたくない（が、衣装等でそれなりにバリエーションが必要な）ので、服のレンタルサブスクを利用しています。消費と環境配慮のバランスはいつでも難しいですが、ファッションを楽しむには悪くない選択肢のうちのひとつかも〜と思っています。

さて！　ついに明日21日（金）0:00（JST）にノルウェーはオスロの友人ボーと、東京の友人水槽ちゃんとのコラボ曲『Tokyo Nightscape』がリリースになります。オスロ！　東京！　インターネット！　世界は広いがつながりを感じますね。凄腕アニメ&映像クリエイターが集結した異様に豪華なMVにもご注目いただきたいと思います。

結局のところ私は都会という場所が好きです。強烈な光と淀みと、それに翻弄されつつ順応し、許容していく人々の生活には抗いがたい独特の美しさがあると思うのです。（時にはその毒気にやられ自然に救いを求めたくなるときもありますが！）

そんな東京の混沌と輝きを、ボーの洗練されつつピリッと辛口なビート、水槽ちゃんの冷たい熱のこもったラップ、私の歌とで切り取りあげた素晴らしい楽曲になったと思います。是非お楽しみください。

お写真はレインボーフェスタ那智勝浦での一枚です。ボランティアとして参加しながら、ライブでも歌わせていただきました。行きつけのお寿司屋さんの女将さんも来てくれました。嬉しかったなぁ。

地方でこういった催しが行われることは大変に意義深いと思います。LGBTQ+当事者の方にとっても、地元の方にとっても、その他の方にとっても、一緒になって楽しい時間を過ごせる場になってくれていたら運営に少しでも関わった者として本当に嬉しいです。主催のマルさん、実行委員の皆さん、有難うございました。またお会いしましょうね。

・今回のおすすめコンテンツ『The Alters』
11 bit studiosのサバイバル系ゲームです。希少鉱石採掘のため未知の惑星に降り立った作業員ヤンは到着即、原因不明の事故により他のクルーが全員死亡してしまったことを知ります。枯渇する資源、夜になると放射線量が上昇する過酷な環境のなか、一人で移動式基地を駆動させるのは不可能。そんななか、彼は自分の人生の分岐点から「違う人生を辿ったクローン」……”オルター”を複製することで生き延びることを選択します。

独立心の強いエンジニア、高慢な科学者……同じ自分でありながら性格を含め全く違う個性を持つオルターたちとなんとか“うまく”やりながら、無事地球に帰れる日は来るのでしょうか？

涙あり、妙に馬鹿馬鹿しいミニゲームあり、ウィットに富んだ劇中ショートフィルムあり、もちろん11 bit studios らしい唸ってしまうほど辛い倫理的葛藤ありの名作です。おすすめです。

Hello everyone. This is Puniden. My hanger rack is already on the verge of collapse under the weight of warm winter coats. Recently, I’ve been trying not to buy too many new clothes except for vintage patterned shirts, though stage outfits still require a bit of variety. So, I’ve started using a clothing rental subscription. Balancing consumption and environmental awareness is always tricky, but this feels like one of the better ways to enjoy fashion responsibly.

Now then, tomorrow, November 21 at 0:00 (JST), my collaboration track “Tokyo Nightscape” with my friends Bård from Oslo and suisoh from Tokyo will finally be released. Oslo, Tokyo, the internet — the world is vast, yet it feels so connected. Please also look out for the stunning music video created by an amazing team of animation and video creators.

At the end of the day, I think I simply love the city. There is an irresistible beauty in the lives of people who, while being overwhelmed by its intense lights and stagnation, still find ways to adapt and coexist. Sometimes its toxicity gets to me and makes me long for nature, but that’s part of its charm too.

This song captures that chaos and radiance of Tokyo, woven together through Bård’s sophisticated and sharp beat, suisoh’s cool yet passionate rap, and my own vocals. I truly think it turned into something special. Please enjoy it.

The photo was taken at Rainbow Festa Nachikatsuura. I joined as a volunteer and also had the chance to sing live. Even the proprietress from my favorite sushi restaurant came to see me, which made me so happy.

Events like this being held in regional areas feel incredibly meaningful. I hope it became a place where LGBTQ+ people, locals, and visitors alike could share joyful time together. As someone who got to be involved, even a little, I am truly grateful. Thank you so much to Maru, the organizer, and everyone on the committee. I hope we can meet again someday.

This issue’s recommendation: “The Alters”

A survival game by 11 bit studios. The story follows Jan, a worker who lands on an unknown planet to mine rare minerals, only to discover that an unexplained accident has killed all other crew members. With dwindling resources and deadly radiation levels rising each night, operating his mobile base alone seems impossible. In desperation, Jan decides to survive by cloning alternate versions of himself — the Alters — each representing a different path his life could have taken.

There’s the fiercely independent engineer, the arrogant scientist, and many more. They are all “him,” yet each with a completely different personality. Can Jan manage to get along with them well enough to make it back to Earth alive?

The game offers moments of emotion, absurd humor through mini-games, witty in-game short films, and the kind of painful moral dilemmas that 11 bit studios is known for. It’s an outstanding work that I highly recommend.

ノルウェー・オスロを拠点とするプロデューサーBård Berg（ボード・ベル）とぷにぷに電機が、フィーチャリングに水槽ちゃんを迎えて、新曲『Tokyo Nightscape feat. 水槽』をリリースします！

ボーはオスロを拠点に活動するミュージシャンであり、ノルウェー国立音楽大学でジャズを学んだプロデューサー、ドラマー、DJです。彼のアルバム『Oslo Beats』シリーズは素晴らしいHouse、Jazz、R&Bがゾロリと並ぶ名盤なのでぜひ聴いてみてください。ボーが春に来日したときにセッションで作った楽曲に、水槽ちゃんにラップで参加してもらい完成したのがこちらの楽曲です。ボーのシックなビートと、水槽ちゃんのドラマティックなラップが混ざり合う、東京の夜のハウス・ミュージック……となっています。

MVはテイラーアニメーションとYostar Picturesに作ってもらいまして、『ブルーアーカイブ』シリーズなどを手がける鏡洋祐さんが監督、MV内のイラストビジュアルは『空色ユーティリティ』の監督で知られる斉藤健吾さんに担当していただきました。他にもヤバいスタッフがヤバ技術を結集して作ってくれましたので、公開されたらスタッフクレジットと一緒に1000000000万回見てくださいませ。

Punipunidenki teams up with Oslo-based producer Bård Berg, featuring suisoh on vocals, for the new single “Tokyo Nightscape feat. suisoh.”

Bård is a musician, producer, drummer, and DJ who studied jazz at the Norwegian Academy of Music. His “Oslo Beats” album series is a masterpiece full of deep house, jazz, and R&B gems, highly recommended listening.

The track was born from a session in Tokyo when Bård visited Japan in this spring. suisoh later joined with a rap part to complete the song. Blending Bård’s sleek beat and suisoh’s dramatic flow, it becomes a piece of house music that captures the atmosphere of Tokyo’s night.

The music video was produced by Taylor Animation and Yostar Pictures, directed by Yosuke Kagami (known for the Blue Archive series), with illustration visuals by Kengo Saito, director of Sorairo Utility. An incredible team of creators put their skills together for this one, so once it’s out, please watch it a billion times and check the staff credits too.

2nd Album “株 - Kabu” Now On Sale!

セカンドアルバム『株』ですが、大変ありがたいことに好評でして、なんとタワーレコードさんからは早速バックオーダーをいただいております。これも皆様のおかげです。

来年はCDよりもちょっと大きい盤のやつをリリースしたいなぁ、さらにリリースイベントもやりたいなぁ、なんてことを目論んでいますので、情報をお待ちください。それまではCDやストリーミングなどでお楽しみくださいね。

こんにちは、ぷにぷに電機です。

やっと秋めいてきました。数年前までは夏の終わりが寂しくて寂しくて、だったのですが、近年は「やっと終わったか……」と思うばかりで。子供のころは27度だって暑くて大変だったのに、今や涼しく感じるほどですね。人間の順応能力の高さに感心しつつ、温暖化の危機感も募らせているわたしです。

そんな中ですが、ありがたいことに今までにないリリースラッシュが続いています。当初はアルバムを出すためにギアアップしたのですが、あれよあれよと色々お誘いもいただいて、コアラ絵日記さんとのタイアップや（まだお知らせできない）アーティストさんとのコラボレーションなど、今後もしばらくラッシュ続きますので、是非頑張りすぎずおつきあいください。

それから2ndベスト電機であるところの『株』、こちらはみなさん是非お持ちいただければと思います。一株から大丈夫です。

ジャケットには透かし風の、歌詞カードには証券風のデザインが施されています。そして我喜屋位瑳務さんの素敵すぎるイラスト！　実物のジャケットでは誠晃印刷さんの特別なインク使いによりピンクや肌色がより鮮やかに発色していて綺麗。なかなか写真に出ないお色です。これがプロダクトの良さだなぁと思い一入です。どうぞお手元に。

・今回のおすすめコンテンツ『ポーショノミクス シルヴィアの魔法薬店』
「ポーション店経営シム」というわたしの大好物ジャンルなんですが、こちらはシンプルなゲームシステムながらその組み合わせが面白いです。ポーションの調合はパズル風、お客さんとの交渉はカードゲーム風、他キャラクターとの交流はビジュアルノベル風など、お楽しみがいっぱい。

そして何よりも脚本が素晴らしいです。敵味方問わずキャラクター達それぞれの持つ二面性が魅力的で、会話は普遍的な悩みに寄り添い、プレイヤーをエンパワーしてくれる前向きなストーリーを紡いでいます。今年一番刺さったゲームになったかも。

動画は先日友人と武蔵五日市に遊びに行ったときのもの。駅前のカフェにあったアイスも美味しかったし、ブランコ遊びもとても楽しかったです。

Hello, this is Punipunidenki.

It finally feels like autumn. Until a few years ago, I used to feel terribly lonely when summer ended, but these days my only thought is, “Finally, it’s over.” When I was a kid, even 27°C felt unbearably hot, now it actually feels cool. I’m impressed by how adaptable humans are… and at the same time, more aware than ever of the urgency of climate change.

Amid all this, I’m grateful to say that it’s been a season of back-to-back releases unlike anything before. At first, I was simply gearing up for the album launch, but one thing led to another: new opportunities, a tie-in with Koala’s Diary, and even a collaboration with another artist (still under wraps for now). So yes, the release rush will continue for a while. Please enjoy it with me, without pushing yourself too hard.

I’d love for you to have a copy of my new album “Kabu”. Just one share is all it takes to become part of it.

The jacket design features a watermark-style finish, and the lyric booklet resembles a stock certificate. The stunning illustration by Isamu Gakiya brings everything together beautifully. Thanks to Seiko Printing’s special ink treatment, the pinks and skin tones appear even more vivid in person, colors that photos can hardly capture. It’s a reminder of how beautiful a physical product can be. I hope you’ll hold it in your hands.

This issue’s recommendation: “Potionomics: Sylvia’s Potion Shop”
Potion shop management sims are one of my absolute favorite genres, and this one is a real treat. The game system itself is simple, yet the way its elements connect is fascinating. Brewing potions feels like solving a puzzle, negotiating with customers plays like a card game, and building relationships with other characters unfolds like a visual novel. There is so much to enjoy.

What truly stands out is the writing. Every character, friend or foe, has a compelling dual nature, and the dialogue touches on universal worries in a way that feels deeply human. The story uplifts you and leaves you feeling empowered. It might just be my favorite game of the year.

P.S. The short video attached is from a recent trip to Musashi-Itsukaichi with a friend. The ice cream at the café near the station was delicious, and the swings were surprisingly fun.

The second physical album “Kabu” will finally be released next week on October 22.

The title “Kabu” carries several meanings. It represents the image of many sounds connecting within one album, overlapping the ideas of the root that nurtures life, the share that links value among people, and the strain of microorganisms that branches and diversifies into new forms.

New Single “エレベーター - Elevator” Out 10/22!

『株』の収録曲の中から、デジタルシングル『エレベーター』も同日配信します。編曲はTaishi Satoくんです。

Taishiくんとのコラボレーションは『The Veils』に続き2度目でして、近年ライブのデュオセットで磨いた信頼関係が今回のサウンドにつながりました。Taishiくんのストリングスやフルートのアレンジによって、軽やかでちょっとストレンジな響きをまとった楽曲に仕上がっていると思います。『株』では4曲目に収録されていまして、アルバム中盤のとってもいいアクセントになっています。ぜひ聴いてみてください。

From the album “Kabu”, the digital single “Elevator” will also be released on the same day. The arrangement is by Taishi Sato.

This is my second collaboration with Taishi, following our work on “The Veils.” Over the past few years, our trust has deepened through performing together as a live duo, and that connection truly shaped the sound of this track. With Taishi’s beautiful string and flute arrangements, the song carries a light yet slightly strange atmosphere that I really love.

“Elevator” is the fourth track on “Kabu,” serving as a refreshing and distinctive accent in the middle of the album. I hope you’ll give it a listen.

皆さんこんにちは、夏も終わりの空模様ですがお元気でいらっしゃいますか。今回もたくさんの嬉しいお知らせを皆さんにお届けできること、嬉しく思っています。

今回のお写真は鹿児島県霧島市に遊びに行ったときのもの。緑、最高です！　神水峡という美しい川には、霧ヶ峰もびっくりの涼風が吹いていました。東京ももう少し緑化してほしいなぁと思う都市生活者なのでした。

先日リリースしました『海を』お聴きいただけておりますでしょうか。ミュージックビデオもYouTubeにアップしておりますのでよかったら。全編8mmフィルムで撮影しまして、アクションがかかると初夏の浜辺にカラカラカラ……とフィルムの走る音が聞こえてなんとも贅沢な撮影でした。海に浮かべたのもよかった。子どものころに受けた水難事故防止の訓練（着衣のままプールに入り、脱力して浮かぶ）が役に立ちました。

まだもう少し暑さは続きそうですが、すでに夏恋しいぷに電です。みなさんどうぞご自愛のうえ、これからのリリースもお楽しみいただけますと幸いです。では。

Hello everyone,
As summer skies begin to fade, I hope this newsletter finds you well. I am happy to share plenty of exciting updates with you again this time.

This photo was taken on a recent trip to Kirishima City in Kagoshima. The greenery was simply wonderful. At a beautiful river called Kamisui-kyo, a cool breeze so refreshing it could outdo “Kirikamine,” the famous Mitsubishi air conditioner. As a city dweller, I cannot help but wish Tokyo had more green like this.

Have you listened to our recent release “an ocean” yet? The music video is now available on YouTube. It was filmed entirely on 8mm, and when the camera started rolling, you could hear the nostalgic clatter of the film. It felt like such a special way to shoot. Floating in the sea during the filming was also unforgettable. The water safety drills I did as a child, where we practiced entering a pool in clothes and floating by relaxing, came in surprisingly handy.

The heat is still lingering, but I already find myself missing summer. Please take good care of yourselves, and I hope you will continue to look forward to the upcoming releases.

New Single “閉園 - Closed feat. ming” Out 9/17!

2025年9月17日（水）にデジタルシングル『閉園 feat. ming』を、スウェーデンを拠点とするAIベースのレコードレーベルSNAFU Recordsよりリリースします。本作は、気候変動で季節の境界が曖昧になる現代において、夏が過ぎ去った後に取り残された宙ぶらりんな時間を見つめ直すことをテーマに制作した楽曲です。失われた風景や置き去りにされた心といったものを手がかりに、夏の終わりを描いてみました。また、このあと初紹介するニューアルバム『株』の先行シングルでもあります。

作詞・作曲・ボーカルはぷにぷに電機が担当し、編曲・ミックス・マスタリングはトロントを拠点とするプロデューサーのmingが担当しました。mingの繊細なプログラミングとシンセの質感が織りなすこの曲は、軽やかでありながらメランコリック。まだまだ暑いこの夏と秋の宙ぶらりんの季節に、ぜひ聴いてみてください。

On September 17, 2025, Punipunidenki will release the digital single “Closed feat. ming” via Sweden-based AI-driven label SNAFU Records.

The track reflects on the suspended, in-between time that lingers after summer has passed, in an era where climate change has blurred the boundaries between seasons. Using lost landscapes and abandoned feelings as metaphors, the song asks how we confront “the end of summer.” It also serves as the lead single from the upcoming new album “Kabu.”

Written, composed, and sung by Punipunidenki, the track was arranged, mixed, and mastered by Toronto-based producer ming. With delicate programming and textured synth work, ming brings a light yet melancholic atmosphere to the song. It is the perfect soundtrack for this lingering, unsettled season.

ファーストアルバム『創業』から3年、ついにセカンドアルバム『株』をリリースします！　生命を育む根「株」と、価値を分かち合う「株」券、そして多様に枝分かれしていく微生物の「株」を重ね合わせた、多義的なタイトルとなっています。こちらはフィジカル（CD）オンリーでのリリースです。色々なディストリビューターさんからのリリースをまとめてリマスタリングしたもので、デジタルプラットフォーム上でまとめるのが難しいという事情があります。多様ですね〜！

Kan Sano、Shin Sakiura、Mikeneko Homeless、Yohji Igarashi、Taishi Satoといったぷに電メンツに加え、西野恵未、ESME MORI、和久井沙良、valknee、さらに日本国外からはPaul Grant（カリフォルニア）、Pikes（ストックホルム）、ming（トロント）が参加した楽曲をまとめた超豪華盤！

アートワークは我喜屋位瑳務、デザインは柴田ユースケ（soda design）が手掛け、紙ジャケット仕様で、歌詞カードも株券みたいなデザインになっています。みなさんのおかげで、株が芽吹いて複雑性の森が広がるような、そんなアルバムになってくれました。

Three years after the first album “Sogyo”, Punipunidenki is finally releasing their second album “Kabu.” The title carries multiple meanings: kabu as the roots that nurture life, kabu as shares that distribute value, and kabu as microbial strains branching out in diverse directions.

This release will be physical (CD) only. It brings together tracks originally released through various distributors, newly remastered into one collection. Due to the complicated rights and release history, it was difficult to unify the material on digital platforms, so this album is truly diverse in every sense.

It is a star-studded compilation featuring familiar collaborators such as Kan Sano, Shin Sakiura, Mikeneko Homeless, Yohji Igarashi, and Taishi Sato, along with Emi Nishino, ESME MORI, Sara Wakui, and valknee. From overseas, the lineup includes Paul Grant (California), Pikes (Stockholm), and ming (Toronto).

The artwork was created by Isamu Gakiya, with design by Yusuke Shibata (soda design). The album comes in a paper sleeve, and the lyric booklet is styled like stock certificates. Thanks to everyone’s support, the album has grown into something like a forest of complexity, where “shares” sprout and flourish.

Pre-orders will soon be available at Tower Records and the official Punipunidenki shop, with remastered digital versions uploaded to Bandcamp later on. The album will also be on sale at M3 (Oct 26, Sun), the audio and media mix event.

Among the new tracks is “Elevator feat. Taishi Sato” (a killer tune!), which will also be released as a digital single on the same day as the album. More details coming soon.

This is Punipunidenki’s first anime tie-in. The song is newly written by Punipunidenki, with arrangement by Kan Sano. The original manga by Yuami-Sensei is a tearjerker, so now is a perfect time to read ahead and get ready for the anime.

皆さんこんにちは、ぷにぷに電機です。先日リリースしました「Optimystique」、お楽しみいただけておりますでしょうか。大変評判良く、有り難い限りです。この楽曲はスウェーデンの友人Pikesからトラックを頂きまして、二人してあれはどうだこれはどうだとトップラインを制作しました。Pikesは才能あふれる素晴らしいトラックメイカーでありながら類稀なシンガーでもあり、マジで無限にハーモニーを要求してくるのでレコーディング6時間くらいやってたんじゃないかな。恐ろしいほど声を重ねて完成しました。ティーザーでは、ストックホルムの中心地にある彼のスタジオで実際に制作している様子をちょっとだけお見せしています。Pikesの作品も素晴らしいので是非チェックしてみて下さい。

・今回のおすすめコンテンツ - カリプソメディア社の『Railway Empire - レイルウェイ エンパイア』

『トロピコ』と同じゲーム会社さんですね。このなんというかすっとぼけた公式サイトも良い味してます。最新作の2も出てるんですが敢えて1。最近、良タイトルは旧作から遊ぶとより長く楽しめることに気づきました。ちまちまと線路を建設しては街を発展させています。攻略には直接関係しないのですが、視点変更で建設した路線に乗車できたりして、開拓時代のアメリカを旅できるのもなんだか素敵。とはいえネイティブ・アメリカンへのヤバい行いは基本的にがっつりウォッシュされていてモヤモヤすることはするのですが。ボケーッと遊ぶにはとても良いです。癒し。リソースマネジメント系のシミュレーション、お好きな方にはおすすめです。『ANNO117』ももうすぐ出るみたいなので楽しみ。

Hello everyone, this is Punipunidenki. I hope you’ve been enjoying our recent release “Optimystique.” The response has been wonderful and I’m truly grateful. The track started when my Swedish friend Pikes sent me an instrumental, and together we worked back and forth on the topline. Pikes is not only a brilliant trackmaker but also an exceptional singer. He kept asking for more and more harmonies. Honestly, I think we spent about six hours in the studio just layering vocals! The result is a song stacked with incredible vocal textures. In the teaser video, you can catch a glimpse of us working together in his studio right in the heart of Stockholm. His own works are also fantastic, so please check them out as well!

Recommended Content of the Month – “Railway Empire” by Kalypso Media
It’s from the same game company that made Tropico. Their wonderfully quirky official website also has a certain charm. Although the sequel (Railway Empire 2) is already out, I’ve been deliberately enjoying the first one. Recently I realized that starting with earlier titles often makes the whole series more enjoyable in the long run. I’ve been slowly laying down tracks and watching towns grow. It doesn’t really affect the gameplay, but you can actually switch the camera view and ride the trains you build, which feels like traveling through America during the age of expansion—a nice touch. That said, the darker parts of history, especially regarding Native Americans, are heavily glossed over, which leaves me feeling conflicted at times. Still, as a laid-back resource management sim, it’s a real treat. Very relaxing. If you’re into this genre, I definitely recommend it. I’m also looking forward to ANNO 117, which is coming soon!

New Single “海を - an ocean feat. Sara Wakui” Aug 27 OUT!

2025年8月27日（水）にデジタルシングル『海を feat. Sara Wakui』をリリースします。過去にぷにぷに電機のサポートを務め、また2023年のビルボード横浜で共演した作曲家・鍵盤奏者の和久井沙良さんが編曲を手がける、メロディック・バラードです。

レコーディングには、クラシックギター界の鬼才・閑喜弦介さん、オーストラリア出身で日本ジャズシーンを牽引するベーシストのマーティ・ホロベックさん、フュージョンをルーツとした若き俊英ドラマー・上原俊亮さんが参加、ミックスはstudio MSRの奥田泰次さんです。和久井さんの緻密なアレンジによる、アコースティック楽器の響きと豊かなアンサンブルを、「海」をテーマとした歌詞の情景とともに味わってみてください。

フランス文学者で映像作家の原智広さんによる、全編8mmフィルムで撮影された超かっこいいMVも、ぷに電公式YouTubeチャンネルで公開予定です。

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, we will release the digital single “an ocean feat. Sara Wakui.” This melodic ballad is arranged by composer and pianist Sara Wakui, who has supported Punipunidenki in the past and also shared the stage at Billboard Yokohama in 2023.

The recording features classical guitar virtuoso Gensuke Kanki, Australian-born bassist Marty Holoubek, a leading figure in Japan’s jazz scene, and rising drummer Shunsuke Uehara, whose roots lie in fusion. Mixing was handled by Taiji Okuda of Studio MSR. Wakui’s meticulous arrangement weaves the resonant tones of acoustic instruments into a rich ensemble, perfectly paired with lyrics inspired by the theme of the ocean.

A stunning music video, shot entirely on 8mm film by French literature scholar and filmmaker Tomohiro Hara, will also premiere on the official Punipunidenki YouTube channel.

BOOK FAIR「333人が、この夏おすすめする一冊。 - 333 Recommendations for Summer Reading.」

As part of the annual curated book fair “333 Recommendations for Summer Reading” at Aoyama Book Center’s main store, Punipunidenki has also selected a book this year. 暑い日が続きますが皆さんご無事ですか。ぷに電です。最近筋トレを再開し、それに合わせてCPFバランスを考慮した健康的な食事を心がけていたら日々の幸福度が爆上がりしました。やはり筋肉。SNSって微妙に体系的な情報を取りづらいなということでメルマガを始めることにしました。時代はメールです。こうして時々皆さんへのお手紙と近況報告をつけさせていただきたいと思っています。無理そうなときはぬるっとお休みします。それでは皆さんもどうぞ心やすく、生きていきましょう！

Hope you’re all surviving the heat—this is Puniden. I recently got back into strength training, and ever since I started paying attention to my CPF balance and eating healthier, my overall happiness has skyrocketed. Muscles really are everything. I also realized that social media isn’t always the best place for sharing structured thoughts, so I’ve decided to start a newsletter. Email is back, after all. Through this, I’d like to occasionally send you letters and updates from my corner of the world. If it ever feels like too much, I’ll quietly take a break—no big announcements. デジタルシングル『Optimystipue feat. Pikes』を2025年7月30日（水）にリリースします。ストックホルムのプロデューサー／マルチアーティスト・Pikesと、スウェーデンの現地セッションで生み出したオプティミスティック・ファンクチューン。Pikesとは2024年の『Star Runner』以来、約1年ぶりのコラボとなります。

タイトルの『Optimystipue』は、「Optimistic（楽観的）」と「Mystic（神秘的）」を掛け合わせた造語です。行き場のない現実の中、踊ることだけが希望のような世界で、それでも心を委ねる夜の魔法ーーそんなねじれたポジティブさをイメージして制作しました。ジャケット写真は宮本七生さんによるもの。Pre-Save、Pre-Addしてお待ちください。

We’re releasing our new digital single “Optimystipue feat. Pikes” on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. This optimistic funk tune was created in a local session in Sweden with Pikes, a Stockholm-based producer and multi-artist. It’s our first collaboration since “Star Runner” in 2024—nearly a year in the making.

The title “Optimystipue” is a coined word combining “Optimistic” and “Mystic.” It evokes a twisted kind of positivity—a night’s magic you surrender to, in a world where dancing feels like the only remaining hope amidst a reality with no clear way out.
