My review after buying:

Solo or multiplayer online for public or friends moves seamlessly between solo or online. Persistent worlds need a 24/7 server, otherwise it is offline when you are, though if you gain friends it is an option.

Character design is very RuneScape.

It is Amazing. such a perfect mesh of the Valheim vibe - quality of life resourcing, combat that is challenging, leveling skills gives you the original Runescape Feel without the grind. The skills bring you back to the original feel, they level as you do stuff that applies to that skill- outside of this, it is all natural level progression. Sure you could grind 99 Woodcutting. As you go it unlocks more blueprints, abilities and hidden bonuses. The Survival Aspect (playing on Normal) keeps you in the game, maintaining food and drink, while exploring- or letting found secrets or mentors lead you to new wonders.

This is just the beginning, the build mode is very free, you can build freely and nearly anywhere- setting up a save spot near to whatever you are working on. I can only imagine Mounts. I am not there yet.

It has been a nostalgic yet unique adventure, where the pull you in bits are catering to the Runescape heart and soul type players for sure- and I love it. A perfect mix of mediums thus far.

I got close to completionist over and over and then they would release 5 more quests of even harder requirements. This was the entire story, I would get close to some form of completion and BAM, they would raise the bar or push the item across to the other side of the table. With Ironman and everyone leaving, and wanting me to throw my hard work they never did in the trash to go to a new game— nope, couldn’t do it. I did make an ironman account, but quit at level 65 mumbling, I already did this, I have ancients. >.<

TOP 10 Npc Management/ Builders

Medieval Dynasty 2.9 Stars

Onboarding is minimal, there is Quest threads, however some advances are locked behind these quests that are hard or time consuming. Hustling the environment at the proper pace to feed and house villagers is a steep challenge without a very long period of working to build things alone, prior to hiring NPCs. Controls are minimal and clunky as are the storage and production queues. Characters have some depth, but there is no bonding to be done.

Black Desert 3 Stars (Edit correction)

Online MMORPG, Overworld Builder Npc management game. So imagine if you will, you can craft vehicles for sale on the player market for other people to ride, and they are all made from NPC resourcing, and property and material management. A very in depth trade and sales market both on the player and NPC thresholds. The only issue is the solo player combat is at a 15 degree angle and is garbage, and you do not have NPC combat access, they are laborers, crafters and haulers. Then add in the high end caps and dangers of the unlocked PVP after 50 and you have a troll formula, and better make or buy some friends with power and might.

The upside is you can simply avoid this mechanic, and never go to 50, and continue to craft wagons and boats or furniture for people, do transports and just make money selling to players.

Sengoku 3.4 Stars

As explained this is a smoother evolution of the Medieval Dynasty, much cleaner and more functional. Same cookie clone, better mechanics, larger enemy encampments and substory.

Military control? It is reserved for one’s outposts and bases. Not invading or exploring, same as the original form of the game. Which is kind of sad. Bellwright wins against these losses.

Just a tidbit:

Aska 4.8 Stars

Aska and Valheim feel similar in vibe and graphics, except Valheim is Solo or Coop with no Npc system. Aska gets to the list because it is focused on Npc systems to build and grow. More like if Rimworld met Valheim, taking it to a whole nother level. Same mystic monsters and challenges vibe, and instead of dungeons or vaults, you need to find MINES to open up and explore, digging deeper into the unknown for ores and creature encounters.

Conan Exiles 2.5 Stars

Conan Exiles was an interesting take on Npc Management, Sadly it is basically a form of glorified slavery, and is not shy in displaying this. However the Advanced game allows you to summon and become Gods on a timer, and smash enemy NPC towns or even Multiplayer PVP maps. It is all in how you want to play, so Ark meets the Age of Conan, without any riding mounts. Huge Penalty.

RimWorld 4.3 Stars

RimWorld, Clansfolk and others like prison architects for example, or even the 2d Cartoon version of Aska Called the Survivalist where you NPC your monkeys and discover the world. These games have the same feel and character depth on the NPCs, some more than others- RimWorld takes the cake with all the customizable character traits, gear weapons and attitudes. The character details and perks or tweaks is the golden butter. No one NPC will have a more in depth character profile and tracking system than those made and living in RimWorld.

You understand the first time an antisocial depressed pyromaniac burns your town to the ground. If character control is lost, it is because of the level of individual power the NPCs have, which makes it an edgy rogue like survival builder. And MODS, holy wow, mods and expansions gone wild– Rimworld with MODS is a, you might never leave experience.

Clanfolk 3.3 Stars

Again, who cloned whom? Clanfolk? RimWorld or Prison Architect? Fun Facts, RimWorld famously drew heavy visual and UI inspiration from Prison Architect when it first developed, acting in part as an evolution of that style into a sci-fi colony sim. Meanwhile, games like Clanfolk are often compared to or called clones of RimWorld due to their similar top-down art and simulation framing, though they focus on distinct survival mechanics.

Soulmask 3.6 Stars

To get information on this I did public searches and reviews on feedback. There is no hands-on experience with this rating; it is based on analytics. The game has a feeling of mixed mechanics between Conan Exiles and Ark Survival Evolved, with the same options of player servers.

Norland 3.3 Stars

To get information on this I did public searches and reviews on feedback. There is no hands-on experience with this rating; it is based on analytics. The game has a feeling of mixed mechanics between Rimworld and Clanfolk/ Prison Architect. Fun clones of games with added little tweaks in mechanics or function on the builds or world maps. They all seem to have the same basic structure of game mechanics and art style in a 2d top down environment.

It is an interesting twist with more aggressive world map combat of Rimworld or Clanfolk.

Guild Wars 2, Boundary Preserve

Oh the Cliffs and crags of the Boundary Preserve, brings about the fate one might deserve. As they climb the steep pillars of rock, jagged like an old lizards teeth, one might wonder their fate- if they fell to the water beneath.

In the ruins in the cracks of the mountain that runs deep, is a deeper disguise than one might first think. Though the ancient ruins crumble, as they decay, grind and creak- The Magma below eats its insides as it sleeps….

Eye’s swell and burn at the sight of industry, sprawled upon the rocks. The bits and pieces of productivity now shattered and spread out across the valley.

The smell of Sulfur cooks the lungs with a skunky aftertaste. Constructs made for efficiency now corroded and decayed- left abandoned with lost resources and treasures of old. Perhaps a tube, a leaver or a spring…

Gnarled Root, and bark jutting through dirt and stone. Twisted, pretzeled into dreams unshaken. Ent’s of Elder Wood do Dwell. The Harpies in the greys are watching, they are waiting- for your approach unaware. Choked of sapling and shrub, the worn dirt paths are stained in blood.

I am with science. So on the Climate portion of this meme- climate change? Nah climate cycle = yes. Core samples of the planet show every 50,000 years or so the Earth’s climate “shifts” displacing weather, animals and land mass, reshaping biomes and regions like a bug molts its skeleton. Humans have contributed = yes, but our Ego and pollution are overrated. The Earth will churn and kill off many species in the process while displacing others. It is a cycle, and we are in it.

And there is nothing we can do about it, but move and adapt. Or die trying.

Pollution is foul and lazy. You can not enjoy nature when it is littered with the presence of humans who disrespect the Earth that gives them life. Another tale.

The saddest part, is that if climate affects the planet and humans to the point of being cooked into extinction- the humans that will likely survive are the worst, greediest soulless among us— extracting our wealth and tech into underground bunkers while the meek burn on the surface. The ones who create the scarcity, survive— I think it is disgusting, and they are not the strongest in our DNA- no they are the best at manipulation and extraction. This is not a good trait.

We can hope that even their bunkers do not hold. They are the worst people.

  • If they have degrees and or certifications that were used for the Fraud then revoke it and ban them from regaining it.

The Screw Worm variant of the Bot Fly Appears in Texas

A 3 week old calf was discovered to have been injected by a Fly, and it laid an egg under its skin. Yes the horrors of South America are here again. We get the shed off of the Chupacabra wolf - coyote hybrids, the killer bees, flesh eating parasites and now, add the Screw Worm to the list. Like they run the operation.

The Egg grows under the skin as in a corpse, except you are alive. It then grows until it reaches Pupa State, and then emerges from your skin to fly off to find a host- if you linger too long, it could be you. Imagine all that crawling under your skin, insanity would be a thing. I know it would freak me out for life.

Put it in the list of other bugs and parasites that want to kill us, like ticks. There is no shock that the most deadly and infected Tick is called the lone star = also from Texas. What are they doing running an insect plague factory down there?

Migration of species is dependent on transport opportunities and weather. With warmer climates the plagues of South America, are finding North America not so bad anymore. It is odd that animals, Insects and Human animals migrate based on weather and favorable conditions for their sense of well being.

For Insects, it just removes the Fog of war and expands their territory.

A matter of opinion vs entertainment/ and or Facts is huge.

The most recent Battle over tier 1, 2 and 3 chips has become overblown to the point of implosion. The complex web of information or even disinformation that surrounds which Data centers are real or not and what CHIP scarcity is real or not is almost mind boggling. The misinformation is all tied to grifts on tax subsidies on these companies and their manufacturing. Tech Bros are Grifting.

It never WAS in my opinion. These people went to affluent criminal schools to learn how to grift american tax payers. This is not a skill it is fundamental support for a structure of tax grifts and rights extraction for those LIVING on our tax at the top— as they waste our money any way they see fit as they look down their nose at those they exploit. There is no civility here, beyond tax payers not culling everyone connected to this system of layered grifts and lies.

We the People, did not include everyone. Originally it was WE the PEOPLE the Land owners, then they added the merchants. Then industries (Land Barons) then the poorer whites only so they could make them a wall between THEM and the masses of Poor non whites. A little bit of privilege will turn humans into animals- there is nothing CIVIL about this. It has always been a grift.

Ok I want to start by saying I was always a Batman Fan. I started with the comics from the 70s, got my hands on one here or there through trades with classmates for matchbox cars or marbles. Who knows, I got my hands on them.

He was a dark hero for sure. The tales of research and investigation drew me in, and the scent always led to the punch. The final conflict. The clues always led to somewhere and then Batman would be facing off with what I saw a version of himself. His antiself. All the villains and he had something in common.

One thing was for certain and is to this day. There is a darker side of batman that people do not generally see through. That he was his own hitman for his best business interests against agents and owners of other enterprises in the city.

EXAMPLES: (Batman’s (Bruce Waynes) Connections to his enemies)

• Poison Ivy - an Eco Terrorist, and guess whos industries pollute Gotham?

• The Joker - created by batman for being a hoodlum, knocked into a vat of the same poison chemicals Poison Ivy is against = in a Wayne Industries production plant. The Monster was Home made.

  

• The Penguin - Who trys to take over all of Gotham’s criminal empire through the use of politics, very much like Two Face which effects Waynes Business.

  Batman is the hero of those who are victims on the street of his competition, and of the business investors who are on the same page as Wayne Industries.

  Batman is an Antihero, in ways people do not generally look at. He is a Vanguard in defense of his own Corporate interests in the end.

The in the beginning would start with the earlier conservative spins on humor.

The “Pull yourself up by the boot straps” mentality, filmed live in front of a studio audience. The nostalgia, the deep meaning in this form of humor, brings tears to my eyes. It is representative of the human experience. Cheers cataloged this for us over 11 seasons.

I watched as I transitioned through my life from high school in a back woods town, to attending school in a bustling city. Cheers transformed with me.

Perhaps not with me, it evolved in its way over the years- and I in my own. Not both on the same path, but reflecting the same vibe of real life working americans.

The humor got smarter, crisper, deeper and more emotional.

Lilith and Frasier divorced in the bar. Little moments of Sitcom life unfolds in the bar to spawn an entire string of futures. She returns in 2023 to battle for custody with Frasier = coming later.

We remember when Coach died and Woody took his place. We cried.

The hostess/ Managers also painted the vibe of the time.

As Cheers evolved, so did their Managers, Sam’s mid life Crisis, The Death of Coach and the onboarding of Woody. One dummy for another, but both sincere and with hearts of GOLD… so it is ok. To sit and spill the beans.

Deductive reason boosts this about 20-30 points, do better folks, question everything, and then back it up with triangulated facts and receipts. The Presidential grift update:

• When you just write in performers on your event, without asking them if they want to be part of it- and then they cancel. This is some disconnect.

• When you rip things apart that are not yours- and then courts come and tell you to reverse it all, when you knew it was not legal in the first place.

There are many details and aspects of this game, from Quests, to miniture group events like world encounters and bosses, live event areas where you have to escort weaker Npc’s (non player characters) across the maps- through a world that seems to want to eat them all.

So you have the Open World which is massive and free- and has hours and hours of map completions, quests, dungeons, world events, group events, global events- it has pvp and it is isolated from the main world Pve— then to top this you have the World vs World maps. More Pvp but in massive guild battles for land, buildings, choke points and resources.

All the stories are unique and not just grim fairy tale rip offs.

Now the mechanics and the utilities of access are separate for each segment of the game. For example: Pvp is unique.

The game is free, and you can enter at level 2- and play as you are a level 80 with all the good stuff in the game. Which is balanced for this area. In this Track, I took a poem from Ravenfellers Book of Dark Poetry, and negotiated the music with the other collaborators. I began to speak the words in the rhythm of highs lows and inflections- and Marc constructed the Music behind it, with Chris blending in where needed.

On Sound recording to “Call in” or “Timeline” the track, I call in, 1,2,3- and something cracked up in studio- we naturally captured the laughter of us all as we were caught by reality trying to be too serious. So I left this humanity of accidents in the final track release. To show the technical and human side of musical creation and expression. I hope you enjoy.

Yes, my alias for gaming for the past 30 years has been varients of Nabolshia. Nabz, Nabzilla. My user accounts are always the same so that I never loose my gaming friends through time and space.

I just came out of having an amazing time in Dune Awakening, minus the very broken PvP and Combat mechanics and the obvious purposelessness of character classes between range or close combat. Everyone was forced to do close combat, range dynamics? Forget about it.

Running into an old World of Warcraft friend on Steam Chat, whom has been in my friends list and we just have not talked in years- I noticed he was in Guild Wars. This then flashed me back to why I have been hunting for a new Mmo.

I play games as a way to connect with my friends and family that live far away or in other states or countries. (Yes I have friends around the world from gaming for the last — (put the length of games and the internet number here) — years.

I left World of Warcraft after 5 years because of the Panda expansion that nerfed all my PvP builds on characters I had been developing for years. I had had enough, and quit. Left my accolades, flying mounts, Battle Bear mount for global domination achievements- it is all still there, gathering dust.

Locked behind a code reader.

My friend invited me to guild wars, the original- and it was more than I could handle- I was PvP killed everywhere I went. I could not even get quests done.

Prior to all of these I ran a 500 person Guild in Runescape. And then went to Entropia universe until it fried my computer. I could not afford to return.

So the community of online people has been part of my life at this point. I then eventually went into Star Wars the Old Republic, but friends would not join.

Mabinogi - complicated leveling and paywalled areas. I stopped playing.

Allods ONLINE - Got to a point where friends were needed and I did not want to join other peoples guilds. This would become my issue- not joining others and making new friends. The list is endless. Game after game.

I have recently in the last months ground THROUGH- or have been grinding through many other mmorpg’s of many types from 2d to polygon and there is so much out there these days in so many forms. Like the new Dungeon Settlers is a mix of Zelda meets Rimworld, not to mention Rimworld- clansman- EverWind, Enshrouded.

Some fall out of the Mmo range and into multiplayer worlds- but still amazing.

So now I am digging into GuildWars 2. And it has been an amazing experience.

Now this game is free, and free is only limited in a few ways- which is, no access to: player trades, player auction house, Guild perks, some added product and item content, some extra perk type content. But nothing that is game breaking- all boosts and cosmetics.

Now going from a TRIAL account to a Member is as simple as enjoying it enough to buy the game when it goes on sale. There is no monthly member fees, you become a member just by buying the actual game and leaving the trial status.

Well worth it. I have just joined a very mature Guild of over 1000 players. I play games as balance and reward for my hard work in life and at home- and the time I take to do projects. Gaming in essence is the “biscuit” for my dogged get real life stuff done reward. I try and stay balanced, this does not always happen.
