It's deeper than what I thought it would be, given the past notes of my grandmother written all over it on many pages. When you decide to turn the page and open yourself to new opportunities, blessings overflow in stages. I've been told to stay lowkey and be out of the way this year. There have been moments when I sit still, knowing that I caught the warning signs God has given me to stay prepared in key moments. I don't claim to know what it all means in those signs, but at least I'm aware in my growth even when it feels like I've had to start over. I remember when I was little, Super Mario Bros used to drive me crazy when it made you start over from the beginning every time you made a mistake. The key is learning from the mistakes and making adjustments. I learned it's about the journey in everything you do. When you get to the end the first thought should be gratefulness.

Quiet PWR: Productivity & Mindset Transformation is a reader-supported publication. Now I've slowed down and do it only when I get the feeling. I know my impact. When you do something too much, people get used to it and begin to try to normalize you. Nothing about this life, this gift, this presence is normal. I'm thankful that God has allowed me to keep trying. When you feel resistance, that's a sign of growth. That resistance is the same as when you work out, your muscles get sore, and the healing factor from resistance allows for muscle growth. We all have a gift. Self-actualization matters in this world.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11

So now what? I don't even know. I'm not supposed to. All I have to do is remain in faith in every moment. I'm not trying to guess and make assumptions. I only show up and do what I need to do. Sometimes you need to meet things halfway in order for it to show up in your life. Stay in the present, just be, and stay in good spirits even when it's challenging. It's easier said than done. Had a chance to speak with my grandmother this past week, and she told me it's nothing you aren't able to withstand with prayer, remember who you are. Now I'm starting to see again. When that sun hits you no matter how hot it is, the feeling is like you're powering up again. Same thing when you're deep in prayer and speak to the things you want, being very specific. Remember, everything is about inputs and outputs. What you input into this life is the output you will receive. Many people have come to me lately asking for something. I'm honored and humbled, but I have started telling them to help me help you. I'm not Google and never will be. I ask them if they looked it up before coming to me. Those are fair questions when you set boundaries and don't want to pour from an empty cup. Meet people halfway and the outcomes will mostly always be different.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" My life closes cycles so something new can be born, and the whole book is really just that, your thoughts are the seeds, your life is the harvest. Nothing outside of you was ever the source. It is about how fast you recover when things go wrong. We put a lot of pressure on ourselves to get everything right. We want to say the perfect thing. We want to make the perfect choice. We want a perfect day, every day. But that is not how real life works. And chasing perfection can slow you down. What I’ve learned is that you are going to mess up. You are going to have bad days. You are going to get upset, and that part is normal. It happens to everyone, no matter how successful they look from the outside. The thing that really matters is what you do next.

Quiet PWR: Productivity & Mindset Transformation is a reader-supported publication. Two people both have a rough day. Both get knocked down. The first person stays stuck for a week and keep replaying it in their head. They stay frustrated and let one bad moment turn into a bad month. All those days are gone and we all know you can’t get your time back. So imagine how much you miss by never forgiving and being upset all the time.

The second person feels the same hurt. But they shake it off faster. By the next morning, they are already back to feeling like themselves. They learn the lesson and keep moving. Over time, the second person grows way more. Not because they are smarter or tougher, but because they recover faster. That is the whole secret. Growth is not about avoiding the fall. It is about how quickly you get back up and keep going regardless of changes, adjustments, and any struggles you may have.

Share

Recovery is not one big thing; it is a few small habits that add up. It looks like how quickly you get back to feeling like yourself again after a setback. You do not pretend the bad thing did not happen. You just do not let it live in you for weeks. It looks like how quickly you apologize and take accountability when you are wrong. A simple “my bad, I’ll fix it” can save a relationship. People respect that more than a perfect record.

It looks like how quickly you take responsibility instead of pointing fingers. When you own your part, you take your power back. Now you are in control of the fix. And it looks like how quickly you learn from what happened. Every mistake is information. The faster you pull the lesson out of it, the faster you grow.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" And like any skill, you get better at it the more you practice. The first time something knocks you down, it might take you weeks to feel okay again. But each time you practice bouncing back, you get a little faster. What used to take a week starts taking a day. What took a day starts taking an hour. That is real growth. Not a life with no problems, but a you that handles problems better. You will still have hard days. That is part of being human. But you do not have to be perfect. You just have to keep getting back up a little faster than before.

That is what growth really is. In business, in people, in myself. In the middle of a regular day, I stopped gripping the outcome, and something in me exhaled when I let go of the weight I’d been feeling for a while. At that moment, that’s when everything around me started moving. I was reading this book called “Inner Child Alchemy,” and it was about having conversations with your inner child and the lessons you have learned up to the present moment. The book was short and interesting because it made you consider how you talk to yourself, the thoughts you carry, and how those thoughts shape outcomes.

Quiet PWR: Productivity & Mindset Transformation is a reader-supported publication. It’s basically a process that, if we manage to anticipate enough outcomes and stay alert enough to every possibility, we can control how things land. We aren’t in control of anything. In church, the pastor said There are two things you can’t control: the future and other people. The only thing we ever actually controlled was the quality of what we put in and the state we were in when we put it there. Everything after that was never ours to manage. It ends up being very peaceful if you let things be. The energy most people spend trying to control outcomes is the same energy that could be going into the work itself.

Refer a friend

Everything I thought was working against me was working on me. The friction was not punishment. It was instruction from the seeds I had already planted anyway. It wasn’t rejection, it was redirection toward something that required a new version of me. When you are faced with difficult moments, note I said moments, it does not feel like it is happening for you. It feels personal. It feels like the universe has specifically chosen your situation to be the hard one. Like everyone else is moving forward, and you are the only one being held in place. The key is first not comparing your life to anyone and second, understanding that it has already worked out. Your journey is your own. What gets refined in resistance cannot be refined any other way. The understanding you carry out of a hard season is not available at the beginning of it. You have to go through it to get what it contains.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" I didn’t say what I wanted, but it was a reminder to sit back down at the table with all sides of me, and I needed a conversation with my inner child and my adult self. I know how I used to think and respond. I look at people in the most stoic way at times, and only my immediate family knows when I do it added a few cousins because we all have done it. I start there from how much better everything gets in reactive vs proactive, and knowing how fast 5 seconds to 5 mins in choices can change your life.

There is an old story about a teacher and a student. The teacher holds up a stick and says: If you touch this stick, I will hit you with it. If you do not touch it, I will hit you with it. The student decided to break the stick. I have been thinking about that story all week. Certain rooms and certain situations where the rules exist not to create fairness but to create compliance. Where no matter what you do, the outcome is already decided at times before you walk in. Where the game is not designed for you to win, your journey is your journey. Many of us spend a lot of time in recovery.

We were taught that fairness was the operating system. That if you did the right things in the right order, the right results would follow. That the environment would honor what you brought to it. Life doesn’t work that way. Understand your assignment and move accordingly. I have been sitting with that lately. There are moments when everything goes quiet, and I take a breath after what feels like a million conversations coming from every direction at once. New ideas, perspectives, and people around me are all deciding something at the same time, as if there was a signal I missed that told the world to go. I catch myself standing there, still, and still I see everything around me not taking one moment to breathe, still.

The amount of dumping, the long conversations, and in that, you can tell people have been waiting to talk to anyone who will listen. It makes me think about how much time passes that people don’t spend talking to anyone. Maybe they feel comfortable, and it’s a safe space. I have started to notice something about those moments. The world does not actually stop when I do. It keeps moving exactly as it was. The decisions still get made, and the noise still runs. The urgency that some seem to be living with continues without my participation.

Quiet PWR: Productivity & Mindset Transformation is a reader-supported publication. Like maybe someone else had figured out a pace I hadn’t matched yet. Like being still was a problem to solve rather than a place to be. These days, I don’t feel that way anymore. What I feel now is something closer to clarity. When you stop long enough to watch how fast everything around you is moving, you start to wonder….where are things going? What are people doing, and all I come to realize is it doesn’t matter. That’s how they operate, it’s nothing wrong with it, and it’s not my business. I focus on my pattern. In some ways, when it’s necessary, I can see the repetition and patterns in others, but it’s different these days. It’s so much changing that the past six years have been a blur. And in these moments, we all get to choose something different. That’s part of the growth, and it makes all of this worth it.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" They take on the pace of the environment and call it their own. They move because movement is what is happening around them, and stillness feels like a statement nobody asked them to make. It says I know the difference between what is urgent and what is important, and I have chosen the second one. I’m glad I’m able to sit down in quiet and write. I was thinking about people. Talented people and genuinely gifted people. People with something real inside them that the world has not fully seen yet, and they stop working at that gift. It isn’t because they failed or a door closed on an opportunity. What tends to happen is that somewhere in the middle of the thing they started, the resistance got loud enough and they quietly let it win. They didn’t quit just to quit, they just stopped following through.

People move on to the next thing, carrying the unfinished version of the last thing with them. The weight of it can become heavy over time. Every abandoned beginning, every gift left idle, every version of yourself you started building and then walked away from compounds over time. Every person has their reasons. There could be a lot of factors like environments, stress, and so on. Most people never name it. They just feel it. There is an awareness that they are living below what they are actually capable of. That the life they are in, comfortable as it may be, is not the full expression of what they were given to bring.

Quiet PWR: Productivity & Mindset Transformation is a reader-supported publication. Not a general potential but a certain gift. Whether it’s a way of seeing or a way of connecting. This exists in them in a combination nobody else carries in quite the same way. You probably have met people who made you feel it. The person whose presence in a room changed the quality of the room. The person whose way of thinking solved something that had everyone else stuck. The person who, simply by being fully who they are, gave other people permission to be more fully who they are. Being in that space is like operating on another level. Then you have met the other version. The person you can sense is holding something back and has more inside them than they are letting out. The individual who started something once and stopped. The person who talks about what they used to do or what they are thinking about doing, but never quite arrived there. All of that is unfinished business with self. Internally, you know it’s all about starting.

Refer a friend

People stop because finishing requires something that starting does not. Starting is available to everyone and feels like a possibility something great can come out on the other side. Finishing requires you to meet the version of yourself that is not ready. The version that doubts and compares, the version that wonders if what you are building is actually good enough to deserve completion. Now don’t get me wrong, the journey is the most important to me in my humble opinion, but it does feel good to finish. Sometimes it’s not easy to write this newsletter, but I can see how it’s helped myself and others along this journey. How it’s given people perspective of some kind in being a positive outlet. You have a gift. You already know what it is even if you have spent years talking yourself out of taking it seriously. And that gift is not just for you. It is for every person whose life it was supposed to touch. Every conversation it was supposed to change, and every room it was supposed to walk into and shift the quality of.

<a class="image-link image2 I took a dive into my businesses, my thoughts, my routines, and asked myself how I could be more efficient and effective. I changed something about how I was operating, and the things that had not been moving started moving. It wasn’t because I found something new. I looked in storage and started using what I already had. I knew what I was looking for was already written down somewhere. It probably wasn’t refined, but I knew the idea sat there with me. When your mind and surroundings are running with clarity, you start to see other systems clearly, too. The way a business works. The way a relationship works. The way an opportunity is structured. Nothing is handed and nothing is given. When I tightened my system, the resources revealed themselves. Not new resources. The same ones. Seen differently because I was finally paying the right kind of attention. A system is a decision about how you are going to operate made in advance so that you are not making it over and over again under pressure. That type of focus holds your energy, so your energy is not spent rebuilding the structure every day.

The good thing about having a system that works is that it does not just protect what you have. It creates room for what is coming. When the foundation is solid, the next thing has somewhere to land. Build the system, stick with the system, and let the system show you what you already have and continue to push forward.

Until next time…

Quiet PWR: Productivity & Mindset Transformation is a reader-supported publication. You have replayed the conversation(s). You know exactly what you should have said. And somewhere underneath the irritation is something you have not looked at directly yet.

That frustration is not really about the other person. It is more or less information about you. What bothers you most in another person is almost always something unresolved in yourself. Not a weakness necessarily. Sometimes it is an unlived strength. Something you suppress in yourself that you cannot stand to see expressed freely in someone else.

The person whose confidence irritates you might be holding up a version of yourself you decided was not safe to be. The person whose carelessness gets under your skin might be showing you how tightly you are gripping things that do not require that much grip.

Most people never look at this. They manage the irritation, file it away, call it a personality conflict, and move on. But one who is serious about their own development learns to read that information instead of just reacting to it.

Qu!et PWR: Productivity & Mindset Transformation is a reader-supported publication. The question is why you do not feel that way all the time. The answer is almost always the same. Just people whose mirror is showing you who you were instead of who you are becoming.

Most people search for purpose alone. In a room, reading and thinking. Looking inside themselves for the answer. Some of it lives there. But not all of it. Some of your purpose only becomes visible in service to another person, in the moments when someone needs exactly what you have. What are they showing you about something unresolved in yourself? And who makes you feel most like the person you are becoming? How much time are you actually spending with them? We talk about finding ourselves like it’s a search. Like the person is somewhere out there, buried under the right experience or the right relationship or the right amount of money. But you’ve always known. The man you’re becoming, you’ve had a feeling of him for years. You’ve seen him in moments of clarity. In the quiet after everyone goes to sleep. In that brief window on a Sunday morning before the noise starts back up.

You know who he is. You just haven’t decided to be him yet.

Most people think the gap is about capability.

They think: when I have more knowledge, more resources, more proof that I can do this, then I’ll step into it. Then I’ll be ready. Then I’ll start living like the person I know I’m supposed to be. That story sounds reasonable. It even sounds humble. Like you’re just being responsible. Like you’re not rushing.

But here’s what that story is actually doing.

It’s making the becoming conditional.

It says that I will be that man once something outside of me confirms that I should be. Once the circumstances catch up. Once I have enough evidence. Once life gives me permission. And that condition will never be met. Not because you aren’t capable, you are. But because the confirmation you’re waiting for doesn’t come before the change. It comes after. That’s not how it works. That’s never how it’s worked.

Quiet Power: Productivity & Mindset Transformation. is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

The version of you that you’re waiting to become doesn’t arrive through preparation.

He arrives through decision. Let me be more specific, because I don’t want to let you off the hook, being all general.

You know the areas. You already know them. The place where you keep saying soon. The relationship with yourself that you keep promising to have. The discipline you keep starting over on. The work you keep saying you’ll do seriously once things calm down. The version of your mind you only visit occasionally, the calm one, the clear one, the one that doesn’t react, you know that version. And you treat him like a guest instead of the owner.

Here’s what I’ve come to understand about this.

The man you keep postponing isn’t ahead of you.

He exists right now, fully formed, in the only place anything real ever exists, inside you. He’s not waiting for your circumstances to change. He’s waiting for your assumption about yourself to change. And the reason most people never close the gap isn’t that they don’t want to. Most people want it genuinely. They’re not lazy. They’re not weak. They just never stopped needing the world to confirm what they haven’t yet confirmed for themselves. Think about the last time you felt like him. That version of you. When did you feel like the person you know you’re capable of being?

It wasn’t when everything was going right. It was an important moment. Maybe under pressure. Maybe in a moment of genuine honesty with someone. Maybe alone, in a decision you made that nobody saw, where you chose the harder thing and didn’t tell anyone about it. That moment was real. That wasn’t a performance. That was you.

But then the moment passed. And instead of treating it as evidence, instead of saying, that is who I am, you put it away as an exception. A good day. Something that happened rather than something you are. That’s the move that keeps the gap open.

Every time you treat the highest version of yourself as the exception and the compromised version as the rule, you reset the distance. You start the clock over. You make yourself a stranger to your own best moments. I want to say something that might be uncomfortable.

Share

The postponement isn’t accidental. At some level, staying in the gap is serving you. It’s protecting you from something. Maybe from the weight of actually being who you say you want to be. Because as long as you haven’t fully committed, you haven’t fully failed either. There’s safety in the in-between. There’s comfort in the someday.

Someday you’ll live intentionally. Someday you’ll stop reacting and start creating. Someday you’ll deal with the thing you’ve been circling for three years. Someday is not a time. Someday is a way of keeping the door open without walking through it.

Here is what changes things.

Not the decision to work harder. Not a new system or a new routine, though those things matter. What changes everything is the moment you stop treating who you’re becoming as a future event and start treating it as a present fact.

Not pretending. Not performing. Not walking around, lying to yourself about where you are. I’m not talking about delusion. I’m talking about a deeper kind of honesty, the honesty to say: I know what I am underneath all of this. I know what I’m capable of. And I’m going to stop living below that understanding.

There’s a difference between a man who wants to be disciplined and a man who is disciplined. Between a man who wants to be present and a man who is present. The gap between those two isn’t capability. It isn’t time. It’s the assumption they’re operating from at the start of every single day.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" There is something about completion that keeps the pursuit sharp. The finish line of one chapter becomes the starting line of the next, and that rhythm is everything. It’s easy to catch when you’re not in rhythm. The day starts feeling off. It could be one thing you respond to that can change your whole day for better or for worse. We never know why, but I’m not here to be a fortune teller. I only move with discernment.

Quiet Power: Productivity & Mindset Transformation. is a reader-supported publication. I found mine in unexpected places, quietly replacing what I once chased with something far more sustaining. The want for so many things has dissolved, and in its place a clarity has settled in that has reset both my outlook and my outcomes. Do better, Be Better, and become better. That’s something I repeat to myself daily. It’s evolution happening all around us. Catch on with the times, or time will escape you, and when you look around, it will be as foreign as anything you’ve ever known.

Each morning begins with scripture and ends with it. In between, there is movement, intentional eating, podcasts that stretch my thinking, and a stillness that used to feel foreign. I no longer feel as though I am missing what is happening outside. When I do step out, I seek experience and peace, not noise. Life feels like I’m looking at a complex painting and finding my way of understanding around it the same way I interpret scripture. It’s life in those scrolls. Its presence here. Take it all in and use your time wisely.

Share

There is no longer any stress or anxiety, even when everything is not perfect. The highs and lows are both welcome. Things working for me are a blessing. Things not working for me are a blessing too, because what is not for you cannot stay, no matter how much you hold on to it. I have learned to approach life with simplicity, and that decision has changed the quality of everything I touch. My circle of influence makes sure I focus on quality in everything I do. My accountability is of the utmost importance in this journey walk.

Stepping into the technology space has been genuinely fulfilling. I keep my focus on gratitude and what is being built, not on the politics I left behind. Having witnessed so much in a short period of time, you develop a kind of awareness that other people spend years searching for. That awareness becomes a source of reference when you stop resisting it and simply step into it. The more we learn, the more value we carry into the world. Value is meaningful. It carries you into rooms and spaces you can’t predict or imagine. In everything, know if you work at something consistently, it all flows, and know that it will eventually will happen for you.

Everything you experience comes down to three decisions you are making constantly, whether consciously or not. The first is what you choose to focus on. Your attention determines your feeling, and your feeling determines your reality. Direct it with intention. The second is the meaning you assign to what happens. The same event can be a threat or an opportunity depending on the story you give it. That story shapes your emotional response and everything that follows. The third is what you do with it. The action you take from that feeling drives every outcome and sets the tone for the decisions ahead. Most people leave all three of these on autopilot. The ones who do not are the ones who move differently. Choose your hard and make a decision.

Until next time….

Doing Just Fine & Honoring The Process

The headphones were playing relaxing music as I sat still in the MRI machine.

Rey Clemons

The headphones were playing relaxing music as I sat still in the MRI machine. I did my best to relax and not let my mind wander. Those days in between, as you wait for results, can weigh on you, but I know all outcomes are positive and blessed. I look at the journey, the obstacles, the ups, and the downs. I appreciate all of it. It makes you better and more resilient to the situations you may face during a lifetime. The music was still playing, and I had to remember that I couldn’t move. Because there are certain things I can’t recall, I’ve found myself being more present, only focused on what’s directly in front of me. It’s been an adjustment, but the improvement is shaping itself in my everyday life. I’m in a good space, being proactive, staying ahead, and listening to my discernment. That type of awareness breeds better outcomes. There is a lot to be grateful for, and I repeat it to myself every day, all day. It’s a list I keep in my head of what’s important, and I run through it often — when good happens and when lessons happen. Losses are only lessons. There is always a teaching moment in them, and it’s up to me to make the adjustments. It’s almost zen-like as I burn my sage during the day and listen to my jazz music, letting the natural air and light enter the room. These moments aren’t about chasing anything. They’re about embracing what’s in front of you and being grateful. Let people leave — open the door for them and get out of their way. The one you are building every single day. With every choice you make. With every habit you keep. With every moment, you decide who you want to be. Each day is a stone. Each stone builds on the one before it. And the whole structure is pointing somewhere. Are you building or letting time slip?

Most people want to start at the top. They want the vision, the big win, and the shiny object. But a pyramid without a foundation falls every single time. The foundation isn’t glamorous. It is not the part that gets celebrated. It is the part that holds everything else up. It is who you are when no one is watching. It is the small decision you make at 6am. It is the habit you keep even when you don’t feel like it. Chaos cannot build order. You cannot multiply disorder and get something stable. You have to start with the ground.

Quiet Power: Productivity & Mindset Transformation. is a reader-supported publication. They are below:

Earth. The part of you that stays steady. That shows up. That does the work.

Water. The part of you that feels. That adapts. That flows around what is in the way.

Air. The part of you that thinks clearly. That sees patterns. That communicates.

Fire. The part of you that moves. That creates. That turns ideas into action.

Spirit. The part of you that knows. The quiet voice underneath all the noise. The part is connected to something bigger than today’s problems.

When one part is off, you feel it. You know the feeling. You are working, but nothing is clicking. You are busy but not building. That is not a strategy problem. That is a balance problem. Building yourself on purpose happens in three moves. Not ten. Not twenty. Three.

Step One: Know who you are. Not who you were told to be. Not the version of you that performs for other people. The real one. This is where most people never go. It is quiet in there. And quiet is scary when you are used to noise.

Step Two: Bring it out. Whatever is inside you needs to become something real. A decision. A conversation. A business. Your inner world is the blueprint. Your outer world is the building. One shapes the other.

Step Three: Hold both. The inner and the outer. The vision and the work. The dream and the discipline. This is the hardest part. This is also the part where everything finally starts to feel right.

Most people live in Step Two their whole lives. They never go inward first. They build outward from an unclear center. And they wonder why nothing feels solid. Life is composed of good days and hard days. The person who tells you they only have good days is either lying or has stopped paying attention. A builder does not stop building because it rains. He checks the foundation. He learns. He keeps going.

So here is your only job today…place one stone with purpose.

Ask yourself three things:

What is true about me right now that I keep ignoring?

What is one thing I know I should do that I keep pushing off?

If I could only place one stone today, what would it be?

Write it down. Do that one thing. Not ten things. One thing. Done with intention is better than ten things done in chaos. That stone goes on your pyramid. That is a day well built.

Until next time….

Quiet Power: Productivity & Mindset Transformation. is a reader-supported publication. Are you still standing idle, or have you collapsed into your power? Most people spend their lives in "superposition", which means holding all options open and not following through on any of them. I’ve noticed that when I take in too much information or get overstimulated, I used to pause. Social media makes this worse over time. We post about our goals and dreams, get a few likes, and feel good about ourselves. But posting isn't the same as doing. When you share your plans online, your brain tricks you into thinking you already accomplished something. You haven't. You just talked about it. In business, the people who win aren't the ones with perfect plans. They're the ones who start before they're ready. It’s best to test, fail, learn, and adjust. While everyone else is still planning, you can already be making money and building real results. The world doesn't reward your research. It rewards your action.

Share Quiet Power: Productivity & Mindset Transformation.

I was watching this show called the Copenhagen Test. The Copenhagen Interpretation Test (often called the "Copenhagen Test" in self-development contexts) is a framework that challenges you to examine whether you're truly living your own life or merely observing it from the sidelines. You have to already believe that something will work out while taking action. First, I start each morning with one simple question: "Am I just thinking about my inputs and outputs today, or am I actually making them real?" This takes ten seconds but changes everything. Second, I follow my three action rule. Every time I have an intention, I write down three actions I'll take within the next 48 hours. Not someday. Not when I’m ready. Within two days. If I can't name three actions, then I don't really want it; I just like the idea of it. Third, keep a whiteboard. I write down all the different paths I’m considering, all the possibilities I’m holding onto. Then I force myself to pick one and cross out the others. I kill them. I know I can't walk down every path at once. Looking in too many different directions can take away from my efficiency and effectiveness. The only outcome I’ve seen is that action creates the reality. You can wish for something all day, but it doesn’t matter if you’re sitting around hoping and wishing. Even in these past two weeks, with everything that happened, I’m glad it did. It made me focus on what I needed to be doing versus stretching myself in different directions in environments that seemed to only tolerate me.

I’m not who I was a year ago, and halfway don’t remember years before that at this point with how much I’ve endured. I know I’ve changed a lot. Some people may have that same lens of your old self, and let them have that. The new circles, network, and skills I’ve acquired have allowed me to continue to expand myself and grow at a rapid rate in a short amount of time. I no longer wait around and think something will happen only because I’m me. The universe doesn’t reward that. Moving forward is the only action. Belief and faith are the actions to take after that. Stop being a scientist studying your own potential. Become the experiment. Your life is waiting for you to observe it into existence. This week, apply the Copenhagen Test: Pick ONE goal you've been observing. List three actions that will collapse it from possibility to reality. Execute all three within 72 hours. Then measure what changed. I’m definitely taking my own advice.

Until next time….

Quiet Power: Productivity & Mindset Transformation. is a reader-supported publication. To remain stoic even when your back is against the wall speaks to your character. The past few weeks have been somewhat challenging but fulfilling at the same time. I realized there are positives in change even when it doesn’t necessarily feel like it. I chose peace and calmness in losing a good friend who recently passed away. It affected my work, but I did what I could in that moment, and now I’m back mentally where I need to be. I also dealt with some disrespect like many of us, but I took the higher road and maintained accountability. Today, I feel indifferent, but my resilience remains. It’s a new opportunity. I’m glad I’ve had these experiences as it’s all a blessing in disguise. The most important thing is to remain true and keep my faith in all situations. Those are the moments when you give everything to God and know it’s already worked out. I’ve already received good news today, even after the wild week it’s been.

Subscribe

Time is moving, and there’s nothing else to do but be productive. I’m glad I kept my foundation and partners in place for unexpected moments like this. This was a true test of resolve and commitment. Even when I was uncomfortable, I knew that was a good thing because of what I learned and the growth that immediately came with it. The best outcomes show when you stay prepared. I always wish the best for others, knowing that anything can happen at any moment. I make sure I leave a mark wherever I go and make an impact where I can, because it could help someone. You truly never know what someone could be going through.

Share

To you reading this: when challenges come, remember that assumption creates reality. You are not a victim of circumstances; you are the power in your world. What you assume to be true becomes your lived experience. The tests, the setbacks, the moments that break others…these aren’t punishments but invitations to assume the state of the person who has already overcome. Persist in that assumption. Feel it like it’s already real. Live from the end result as if it’s already done. Your resilience isn’t something you hope to find, it’s something you claim right now. Keep going, not because the path is easy, but because you’ve already seen yourself victorious. That vision is your promise, and it cannot fail.

Until next time…

Subscribe

Get the app

When Access Changes

What a time.

Rey Clemons

What a time. Silence creates gravity. Distance creates curiosity. Scarcity creates value.

This past week was about getting back into that complete focus mode. The purpose of this journey for me is to remain looking forward. I noticed when my access changed, people changed with it. The moment you look within and work on building yourself, a lot of distractions can show up—and that's the critical point of how far you can go and how much you can accomplish.

Subscribe

Since the beginning of this year, my availability has changed dramatically, and it's refreshing in many ways. As a consultant, I spend a lot of time helping others, and that becomes the normal conversation after a while where I'm not even asked how I'm doing. Or people mask that and immediately go into asking for something. It's a blessing to have that trust and knowledge, but I wonder if people put in effort to figure things out sometimes. The best thing I learned was setting boundaries using different frameworks within conversations, and it helped a lot in my growth.

Share

I'm thankful to have peace of mind and balance now. As I get older, it's easier to weed through the fluff in the world and redirect where I'm looking to sustain my faith by giving it all to God to work itself out. To this day, my circle and I continue to send books and scriptures to each other with words of encouragement. It's a good feeling to know you're passing along wisdom and guidance to those that matter—they can see it from their own point of view and learn at their own pace. When you do that, you realize every resource you need is available and at your fingertips instead of seeking out. What you assume within, manifests without. The external world simply reflects the state you dwell in.

That's all I had for today. Everyone stay safe in that snowstorm weather. Might be a good time to relax and reflect. Until next time….

Subscribe

Get the app
