Meanwhile, revolutionary Uranus is direct but barely moving as it slows down to station on September 10, creating a pivot point for all the unfolding dramas that continue to increase in intensity but don’t seem to manifest in desired results. Ironically, Uranus symbolizes change, yet Uranus hardly moves all month. Cultivating patience serves us well.

Nevertheless, our brains are busy integrating the incessant influx of information with wildcard Uranus nearly standing still in Gemini, a home sign of communicator Mercury. September starts with mental Mercury moving through earthy Virgo, its other home sign of analytical thinking. Our words are practical and precise, as we search for perfect answers to hard questions until September 10, when the fleet-footed heavenly messenger travels into the artistic and airy realms of Libra. Kindness is a currency that makes both the receiver and giver rich.

The integrative Jupiter-Saturn trine that was exact on August 31 holds sway through the first week of September, enabling us to visualize sustainable solutions to our difficult dilemmas. But a Mars-Saturn square on September 1 can slow our roll as our spontaneous Martian energy meets up with Saturn’s non-negotiable authority. September 10 is a key turning point with the exacting Virgo New Moon at 8:26 pm PDT forming a motivational sesquisquare with evolutionary Pluto. We know what must be said, even if it dredges up uncomfortable issues. Nevertheless, change is everywhere as Uranus stations, Mercury moves into Libra to become a mediator, and Venus sinks into the depths of Scorpio’s emotional waters as it opposes Chiron. A surprising collaboration can be the ticket to success as long as we remember not to compromise on our values.

Our words are our wands and the magic we can do now is only limited by our unwillingness to acknowledge the reality around us. Mercury’s flowing trine to Pluto and tense opposition to Neptune on September 12 stir the cauldron of change. Mercury’s trine to Uranus on the 13th ignites a spark that sets significant shifts into motion if we can muster the courage to speak truth to power. However, we still have work to do before we can achieve our aspirations. We may become more aware of unfinished business around issues of health and well-being on September 17 when healer Chiron backsteps into Aries, reminding us of the conflict between medical sovereignty (Aries) and the collective social structure in which we live. Chiron in Aries implores us to exert authority over our own bodies, healing, and psychological identity.

Harmony may seem out of our grasp during this change of seasons; however, finding ways to reset the balance in our personal lives and in the larger social sphere is exactly what the cosmos is asking from us when the Sun shifts into Libra on September 22 at 5:04 pm PDT, marking the Autumnal Equinox (the Spring Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere). The Aries Full Moon on September 26 at 9:48 am PDT is conjunct visionary Neptune and sextile evolutionary Pluto. This lunation symbolizes a powerful culmination of recent events, emphasizing the role of our dreams in the creation of reality as the unconscious realms take form in the three-dimensional world.

Although global circumstances do not appear to align with our personal ideals, something intangible is happening out of sight that still has the power to change everything. Individual expression has likely been suppressed while energetic Mars moved through cautious Cancer all month. But we are on the edge of an exhilarating new phase as Mars blasts into radiant Leo on September 27, followed by the Sun’s trine to radical Uranus on the 28th. Mercury slips into penetrating Scorpio on September 30, trading in its role as diplomat to one as a provocateur or investigator. August 2026 carries forward the momentum of July while emphasizing the intense drive for individual creativity and self-expression. The potency of the rare Uranus-Neptune-Pluto geometry of flowing trines and sextiles sets the tone that will be with us for years to come. These patterns won’t quickly fade just because the calendar flipped to a new month. The powerful planetary configurations reveal the deeper changes already reshaping our world. Although jubilant Jupiter in Leo is separating from its exact connections to the other outer planets, it actively encourages confidence and magnanimity. However, the personal challenge is to shine our light without acting on the urge to diminish someone else’s. There’s no room for big egos when we need all hands on deck.

There are lessons to be learned as Chiron the Mentor turns retrograde in Taurus on August 3. Chiron symbolizes the places where our vulnerabilities can become wisdom; and while traveling in earthy Taurus, healing is focused on grounding our relationship with the material world, including the practical concerns of our bodies. The most obvious remedy suggests slowing down and simplifying our lives, which may put us in direct opposition with the increasing complexity of modern life. Our craving for beauty, balance, and connection only grows stronger when Venus shifts into artistic Libra on August 6. On the same day, the Sun-Saturn trine empowers us to execute our plans with steady determination. Its semisquare to Venus and sesquisquare to Neptune stimulate enough free-floating anxiety that we are motivated to do something about the gulf between what we secretly desire and our current reality. The Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse follows on August 27 at 9:18 pm PDT. Its dynamic square to unpredictable Uranus is likely to bring forth a surprise or two. The Leo Solar Eclipse asks us to relinquish our pride and unabashedly reveal more of our authentic selves to the world. The Pisces Lunar Eclipse asks us to release old painful patterns to make room for spiritual growth. Opening our hearts and putting our compassion into action creates a positive ripple effect in this timeline and beyond.

A cosmic green flag enticingly waves as the month ends with a Jupiter-Saturn trine on August 31—the opening event of a longer cycle with recurrences following on April 3 and July 11, 2027. Optimistic Jupiter and realistic Saturn are sometimes called the social regulators because their interaction reflects the expansion and contraction of society itself. This fire trine offers an opportunity to integrate enthusiasm with discipline and vision with responsibility. Our dreams can grow without losing their foundation. The future is calling us to be wildly creative as we expand our awareness of a greater whole and step into the starring role we are meant to play in this universal production. Riding the cosmic waves requires copious amounts of grace and good humor as we all begin to navigate the vast unknown. This pivotal moment in time is much larger than a sequence of daily transits. An exact Uranus–Pluto trine on July 17 (the first of five) starts a new chapter in a cycle that began with their conjunction in the mid-1960s. That catalytic planetary alignment planted the seeds of civil rights, feminism, ecological awareness, expanded consciousness, systems thinking, computer networking, and a radical questioning of authority. The opening square of 2012–2015 put those seeds through a stress test. The promise of liberation collided with racial injustice and economic inequity. Visions of utopia clashed with the politicization of gender, climate crisis, mass surveillance, government corruption, and concentrated corporate greed. The sinking realization that every system created to distribute power can also be captured by power is difficult to accept.

Now, in July 2026 through May 2028, the five Uranus-Neptune trines invite integration and implementation. This is a cosmic ultimatum, demanding that we move from protest toward prototype. Instead of continuing to expose broken systems, we are being challenged to build sustainable alternatives that actually work. Astrologically, a trine is not automatically easy or benevolent. Flowing energy is morally neutral. And the current flow can either encourage regeneration, collaboration, and liberation or they can centralize power, increase technological control, and provoke warfare. The question is not, “Will the world finally know peace?” But rather, “What is beginning to flow, and who will benefit from that flow?” However, perhaps the most important question of all is, “What is the role you wish to play in this global transformation?”

Giant Jupiter magnifies the entire pattern on July 20-21 when it trines visionary Neptune, opposes evolutionary Pluto, and sextiles revolutionary Uranus, stretching the tension between power and possibility. Brilliant breakthroughs, innovative ideas, and sudden shifts in perspective inspire us to change what we can no longer tolerate. Consciousness is expanding into new dimensions as our human brains become more sensitized to a wider range of frequencies.

The Sun follows in Jupiter’s steps, repeating and illuminating these same aspects on a more immediate and personal level on July 26-27 as it opposes Pluto, trines Neptune, and sextiles Uranus. What is happening collectively is also being experienced personally. The cosmos is asking something from each of us. Where can we release control? Do we have the courage to trust a larger vision? And will we consciously decide to embrace a future that cannot be built on the foundations of yesterday’s assumptions?

Meanwhile, Eris turns retrograde on July 22, Mercury turns direct on July 23, and Saturn stations retrograde on July 26. As Mercury begins to move forward, Saturn reminds us that intellectual progress without practical application is simply a form of mental gymnastics. Eris turns the lens inward to focus on issues of exclusion, resentment, and anything that has been pushed outside the circle. Clarity is more likely when we remain patient with the process.

The energy builds toward the Aquarius Full Moon on July 29 at 7:35 am PDT that reflects the growing unease between the individual and the collective. The Sun’s conjunction with Jupiter perfects a little more than two hours before the Full Moon, amplifying egos, emotions, and expectations. There is an undeniable need to find meaning in what is unfolding from the mists of illusion that were seeded on February 20 when realistic Saturn merged with idealistic Neptune at the zero degrees Aries point. The Full Moon is closely conjunct Pluto, intensifying the emotional and evolutionary stakes. A creative Venus-Mars square is also exact on the 29th, while both planets form semi- and sesquisquares to the Sun and the Full Moon. Desire engages with action; attraction meets conflict. Cooperation and competition simultaneously enter the field of infinite possibilities. Considering the consequences before breaking the rules leaves us with less regrets.

This complex Full Moon may feel like a culmination but not necessarily like a conclusion. Aquarius asks us to see the larger system, the wider community, and the future trying to emerge from the turbulence of the present. We are not merely watching history happen. We are actively participating in the design of what comes next. There is little time for fear or despair when there is an entire universe asking us, “What do you wish to create”?

The future is finally beginning to take shape during June, even if only in conversation. However, it is the words we speak now that will catalyze the changes ahead, eventually catapulting us into a new reality. As revolutionary Uranus gains traction in the interactive sign of Gemini, it inches closer to its flowing trine to evolutionary Pluto in egalitarian Aquarius. Although the first exact Uranus-Pluto trine does not perfect until July 19, its impact is already undeniable. The looming influence of social media over organized hierarchies as well as the rise of independent journalism in opposition of mainstream media are telltale signs of the growing resistance to the status quo. Information is traveling faster. Ideas are spreading more quickly. Technological innovation continues to run rampant with little regard for ethical or environmental concerns. New organic networks are forming before us while older systems are struggling to maintain control.

The collective nervous system is being rewired, and it can throw us off balance. This is not merely change; it is change upon change upon change. It is impossible to keep up with events as things shift in the blink of an eye. We need to think differently if we want different outcomes. Overwhelm leads to anxiety and inaction which only makes matters worse. Practicing mindful consumption enables us to find calm in the center of chaos. However, idle escapism is a luxury none of us can afford if we hope to create a better world for ourselves and our children.

June is a month of acceleration and adaptation coupled with potentially negative consequences, especially if we go quiet in complicity or linger in our illusions. The pace continues to quicken, but unlike May’s rapid sequence of sign changes, the cosmic energy allows us enough space to adjust to operating inside a reality that has already shifted. The life-changing implications of the great planetary transitions of 2025-2026 are beginning to take tangible form. We must participate in the exchange of information rather than simply passively receiving it. However, speaking our truth is tricky because chatty Mercury slips into cautious Cancer on June 1, slowing down until it turns retrograde on June 29. Integrating all the changes is challenging but sticking to our comfort zones offers us little room for personal growth.

Venus in emotional Cancer catches up with expansive Jupiter on June 9, reminding us that pleasure can still be found in the midst of complex circumstances if we are careful not to overindulge. We may long for belonging, seek security within family, and strive to create authentic connections. While technology pushes us outward and into the future, nostalgic Cancer calls us to come home to our roots, our memories, and the people who matter most. However, Venus dances into playful Leo on June 13, inviting us to step into the spotlight and express ourselves creatively. The fickle Gemini New Moon on June 14 at 7:54 pm PDT is a cosmic flag to remain flexible and friendly. This lunation in the sign of The Twins acts as a launch point into the Uranus-in-Gemini timeline, emphasizing exploration and experimentation. Our insatiable curiosity is both a blessing and a curse as fascinating rabbit holes can end up as resource-draining distractions if we are not honoring our priorities. Surprises continue to emerge suddenly and narratives change daily. Whatever appears certain one day may require revision the next. A daily grounding practice enables us to weather the storms without getting lost.

Learning valuable lessons is likely when we remember to keep our feet on the ground as mentor Chiron moves into sensible Taurus on June 19. No matter how hard we might try to shut out the noise, reality won’t likely allow us to slip into denial of the global complications and social issues of these times. Our critical thinking caps are needed now more than ever as the pace of change accelerates and the battle for our attention intensifies. We’ve been traveling through a confusing and chaotic timeline where reality itself can feel like it’s shifting beneath our feet, and now the sheer volume of conflicting incoming information grows even more insufferable. Messenger Mercury impatiently races into its noisy home sign of Gemini on May 17, triggering our curiosity and widening our communication channels. Mighty Mars enters bucolic Taurus on May 18, empowering us to ground our energy when life feels overwhelming. Making a conscious effort to slow down enables us to find our centers of gravity. Venus also slips into cautious Cancer on the 18th and forms a supportive sextile to Mars, offering us an opportunity for rest and recreation so we can fully appreciate life’s simple pleasures. But our respite isn’t likely to last long as the cosmic chatter grows even louder once the Sun enters inquisitive Gemini on May 20, illuminating the myriad of possibilities that lay ahead.

There is a greater need for flexibility and grace with this much energetic shuffling in a very short window of time. Our restlessness could get the best of us when the willful Sun meets up with wildcard Uranus on May 22, followed by its trine to Pluto on the 26th. At the same time, on May 25, daring Mars forms a dynamic square to dauntless Pluto, amplifying the urgency for the resolution to a variety of existing power struggles. Reckless behavior is not recommended but sometimes change comes with a cost. Revolutionary activism carries the potential to redirect the evolution of our individual lives and humanity itself. This vitalization of Uranus and Pluto foreshadows their five exact trines that will dominate the cosmos from July 17, 2026 until May 9, 2028. Mercury is on the move, darting into its home sign of adaptable Gemini on May 17, closely trailed by the Sun on the 20th, offering us an opportunity to share our exciting experiences with others as communication takes center stage now. Mercury, the Winged Messenger, speedily flies through all the elements in one month from fiery Aries through earthy Taurus and airy Gemini, finally reaching the watery world of Cancer on June 1. There is a palatable quickening to our collective mental pace, as we are being deluged by information faster than we can fully process it. Nevertheless, vulnerable Venus swims into the oceanic depths of Cancer on May 18, encouraging us to be gentle with our own hearts as we protect and nurture those around us. Stepping away from the noisy curation of the sociopolitical world allows us to recharge our emotional batteries and reinvest in our communities.

May opens with a powerfully illuminating Scorpio Full Moon on May 1 at 10:23 am PDT, shining light on our path to show us that we are no longer simply imagining the future—finally, we are beginning to inhabit it. Pluto stations retrograde on May 6 and barely moves all month, making its relentless presence especially potent. Combative Mars is simultaneously conjuncting healer Chiron, stirring old wounds with anger and exacerbating the need to respond with awareness rather than reacting impulsively. Meanwhile, Mars marches into Taurus and Venus slips into Cancer on May 18, shifting the emotional tone toward practical self-reliance and domestic security. We may feel an instinctive desire to pull inward even as the world keeps accelerating. However, remaining calm, cool, and collected is a challenge as Mars squares Pluto on the 25th, highlighting archetypes of power struggles, confrontation, and resistance. Thankfully, the smooth Sun-Pluto trine on the 26th suggests that something constructive can emerge from this stressful dynamic if we are willing to face the facts in front of us. This energetic crescendo can bring conflict, revelation, and the possibility of transformation. The Venus-Saturn square on May 28 may test relationships and/or finances as we seek comfort and security, but we can’t ignore the unavoidable limits and personal responsibilities. This caterpillar-into-butterfly metaphor captures the evolutionary potential of humanity’s condition in 2026. Individual humans, like imaginal cells, are linking together to form social networks that, in turn, cultivate idealistic visions of the future. However, these collectively shared utopian dreams (Neptune) are being met with the resistance of the engrained status quo of governments, corporations, and religious institutions (Saturn). And as we move into the second half of April, the tempo of life accelerates into overdrive, fueling our creative impulses and propelling us into motion.

The early weeks of the month precipitated new waves of military violence and exposed more social injustices, but now we are being pushed toward action as we struggle, like the caterpillar breaking out of the cocoon, to turn our dreams (Neptune) into reality (Saturn). The cosmos invites us to move from reflection into participation. Our ideas that have been simmering must now find a voice. Conversations that once were held in back rooms because we were uncertain about how to proceed now must gain clarity and move into the open. There is no time to waste when it comes to aligning our actions with our values.

Mercury and Mars are working in tandem now that they have joined the planetary pile-up in pioneering Aries. We can feel the forward thrust on multiple fronts as our words and actions flow with greater coherence, as if thoughts are spontaneously forming themselves. Although we get another blast of the fantasy side of the equation when mental Mercury conjuncts mystical Neptune on April 16, Mars and Mercury run into the wall of restrictive Saturn on April 19 and 20, respectively. The Neptunian fog is lifting just enough for us to recognize possibilities and pathways that were invisible only a few weeks ago. Speaking our dreams into reality requires serious commitment and hard work.

Meanwhile, the Aries New Moon on April 17 at 4:51 am PDT is one of the strongest Aries statements the cosmos can make with eight planets packed into the sign of new beginnings. This powerful lunation is conjunct Eris and Chiron, giving us the chance to alchemize chaos and pain into transformational healing and sustainable growth. Additionally, the Mars-Saturn conjunction on the 19th will likely be an unpleasant reality check as we acknowledge our limitations and stabilize our plans. The Saturn-Neptune conjunction on February 20, coupled with the looming Uranus-Pluto trines of 2026-2028, are forcing an evolutionary shift of such great consequences that it’s difficult to conceive of what may lie around the next corner. We are wise to heed the warnings from some of our greatest science fictions writers of the past and unite as a species to reclaim our collective power. We must wake up to the fact that disillusionment is both a blessing and a curse.

The Libra Full Moon on April 1 at 7:11 pm PDT sets the tone for the entire month with its engaging square to expansive Jupiter. Maintaining our balance is key yet it’s all too easy to overcommit, overindulge, or overdo, especially as the radiant Sun squares robust Jupiter on April 5. Our sense of too much and too fast is exacerbated by a restless Mars-Uranus sextile on April 8, followed by Mars moving into impulsive Aries on April 9. Regulating our emotions requires extra effort when martial Mars conjuncts murky Neptune on April 12. Healthy expression of our anger is essential for our mental wellbeing, but choosing the right outlet determines whether our behavior is destructive or constructive. Nevertheless, facing the consequences of ill-informed actions is likely when Mars joins Saturn on April 19.
