Happy Full Moon (Partial) Lunar Eclipse!! This cosmic moment completes the eclipse window that started two weeks ago with the Solar Eclipse and has provided us a refining bracket of time in which to refine our intentions with this next larger cycle we are entering together.

If you have thought about all this in these terms zero minutes of any day, that is OK!

You are still swimming in these waters with the rest of us and in one way or another you have been drifting close to some truths about who you are, who you are NOT, ways that you self-sabotage your forward and upward trajectory, and ways in which you could be loving life more.

A lunar eclipse is a beautiful and tricky moment. Not just a marvel to behold, but a moment when the blessed reflection of our home star, at its peak transmission through a divine feminine lens, is interrupted.

The solar reflection that the Moon provides is protective, rhythmic, soft, and clear. The interruption of a lunar eclipse provides an unexpected anomaly to throw a wrench in the machine.

This can cause all manner of chaos.

And yet I would like to suggest that this can be a potentially generative moment of chaos, one that can help us clear out the skeletons from our closet, the shadows from behind us, and the monsters under the bed. As they creep out into the unexpected darkness, to show themselves fully, they leave themselves exposed to be seen when suddenly the light returns!

Let it go

Let it rise

Let it sink

Let it flow

So that we can be free
to write new stories

Welcome to the New Moon Solar Eclipse Day! If you read my post from a few days ago about the Lion’s Gate you will already have a sneak peak into my timely message for today.

This day is all about expansion, amplification, and growth. While most of my readers in the US will not be in the “path of totality”, which includes Iceland, Greenland, Siberia, and Spain, we will all be receiving the magic of this moment as the eclipse sweeps across our Earth.

A solar eclipse is a magnificent thing born from the audacious, mind-bending truth that while our Moon is 400 times smaller than our Sun, it is also exactly 400 times closer, so they appear the same size in our sky. When the Moon moves in between the Earth and the Sun we get to receive something profound, the true emanations and information streams from the Sun become visible.

But wait, there’s more! Today’s eclipse is also coinciding with 6 planet alignment, Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune AND the peak of the Perseid meteor shower!! Let’s just say the astrologers, metaphysicians, and folks who deal in prophesy are very very focused on the energies of today, August 12th, 2026. It’s a big deal.

What do you need to know?

Whatever we focus on today will grow.

My guides provided a comical analogy in my dreamtime this morning and so I felt compelled to pop on here to share!

Imagine you were given a magical refrigerator that had the capacity to infinitely duplicate whatever you placed inside of it TODAY. What would you fill it with? If you were being given a lifetime supply of something, what would you want it be?

Now imagine that your heart and your mind are this refrigerator.

Today is a day to be impeccable with our thoughts, gently curious with our feelings, and invitational with our actions.

Today is a day to be intentional with that we put in our “refrigerator” in terms of media, news, stories, and the like.

As my guides often say, “It matters less if it’s true and more if it’s helpful”. So today seek out what would be helpful to carry with you on this wildly unpredictable and beautiful human life journey.

It has been a moment since I was able to join you all here and I have missed you! I owe you a big update on all that has been shifting beneath my feet this last month. My intention with sharing my story is that it will provide some hope and inspiration for your own path forward. . .

However, today is a very special day, so the update will have wait. Today is 8/8, a day commonly referred to as the Lion’s Gate where we celebrate the cosmic convergence of the Sun in Leo, the Earth, and the wise star Sirius coming into alignment with each other.

The Lion’s Gate, with its synergy of “8” energies is considered a manifestation peak of the year, helping us to flow in the direction of our **attention.

**That is a clue, a cue, and perhaps a traveler’s cautionary sign.

We are living at the peak of the “Attention Economy” where our focus is literally the commodity being bought and sold. Coming back to a place of leadership with our focus is harder than ever and yet has perhaps never been more important.

We need to respirate our attention from the mundane, personal tasks of the moment, out to the big picture, existential and moralistic questions of our time. As we move from one polarity to the other, it is beneficial to make pit stops along the way, to cultivate our curiosity about our family members, neighbors, community, and nation. It is helpful to consider the context of our individual and collective past as well as the near and distant future.

We are propelled on our path by bringing awareness to as many of these varied zones as possible, slowly, gracefully, and with a natural flow. All of this requires time, silence, and a certain training in “coming back”.

The intuitive reading for this window of time is rather simple:

Allow the Fire of self-expression to rise and meet the world

Let this creative life force both ground you and propel you forward

Ask yourself what you want and what you hope for

Invite your heart to think not just of yourself, but of others, now and in the future

Remember that if you often find yourself falling back into the past, forgiveness is giving up all hope or delusion that the past could have been different than it was (paraphrased wisdom credited to Jack Kornfeld)

Welcome a sense of meaning for past events to reveal themselves

Send gratitude for all the gifts we daily receive from the joy and pain of our personal, familial, and collective past

Expect that with effort and courage we can continue to create something more beautiful for future generations

Believe that passion, delight, joy, and presence is afforded to all, not only to the few

And lastly, it is important to know that this Lion’s Gate energy is a window of time, peaking today and closing on the 12th. So this inquiry into what you want to focus on into the future is still turbo charged for a few more days.

I recommend doing a simple, timed (1-2 minutes) free write with the prompt “What do I want?”

Then read it back to yourself and notice all the ways this is already coming into or present in your life.

Feel appreciation and gratitude for all the forces known and unknown that have made this so.

Ask yourself if there is anything that is holding you back, holding you in, making you feel stuck and turn your compassionate curiosity in that direction without immediate agenda to change that. Imagine your heart is simply a headlight of love landing in that place.

Moon Feast Served One Bite at a Time:

Hello Loves, welcome to the Full Strawberry Moon!

The time has come (in the Northern Hemisphere) for the leader of the berries to be picked and enjoyed, with all their berry siblings quick on their heels.

This last week of June holds a very special place for me because it is the time of year I used to travel to Pennsylvania, every childhood Summer between 6 and 18, to spend two whole weeks with my grandparents.

One of my most delicious Summer sensory memories is of waking up before the rest of the house and padding across the unfathomable expanse of dew soaked grass, between the heavy kitchen door all the way to the farthest reaches of my grandparents’ backyard, to pick fresh raspberries.

The birds would be signing their early morning songs of delight, the bees would be sluggishly brushing off the cold of sleep, and the sky would be glimmering in her most audacious morning blue.

I would fill a mixing bowl with these delicate delicacies, making sure to always leave plenty to continue to ripen for future days and to feed the chorus of animals that made this giant raspberry bush their buffet.

I would then return to the house to sprinkle the heaping bowl of raspberries with a flurry of Honey Nut Cherrios and a splash of milk. Often this feast would be reverently received while sitting on the brick steps of the back patio watching the world of my Grandparents’ yard come alive.

Memories of this Summer tradition and waves of love from my now in spirit Grandma Liz have been very present with me as my family prepares to move to our very first intentional co-housing community. The dream of sharing land, food, resources, and care in an abundant eco-system of choice has been a life long yearning. One that was surely refined in this backyard Eden where hours were spent watching the way nature is constantly giving, receiving, and expressing herself in a verdant symphony of synchronized flourishes of fancy.

And so it was that one of the first gifts we received when we stepped onto the land this week, after we signed for our new home, was a full platter of freshly picked raspberries! Thank you Grandma Liz, thank you to our new neighbor Teresa, and thank you to this wondrous Earth reality that coordinates such delightful and unexpected surprises.

Perhaps we will now call this the Raspberry Moon.

Sorting the Threads of the Moon Story

The Moon offered us an interesting story this month of birthing our light from the animal instincts of the body into something altogether new. So much of our body’s instincts and the foundation of our personal limitations are based on survival and fear.

And so it piqued my interest that after the physical body purged the light body into the Earth there was a chase scene. . . free from fear! I experienced this as playful and full of glee from an understanding of absolute safety, speed, and infinite maneuverability.

The Light body then resurfaced into the land of physical form and we found ourselves in a cozy space with one guiding elder sitting in the corner. This timeless elder watched but did not speak, did not guide in word nor action. This new space was similar to the underground reality we had just been born through in that there was no fear. There was a sense of trust and safety here that we rarely allow ourselves to feel in our current, or soon to be former, reality.

Instead of glee, there was a certain level of frustration, confusion, and perhaps a flicker of curiosity in this new space. And this seems important to point out. When we imagine a new and different reality, we often idealize it as if there will be no friction or upset. But this is simply not the human condition. We are blessed with a wide array of sensations, emotions, and reactions. It is up to each one of us to take responsibility for how we think about these experiences and hold ourselves steady to a internal standard of care.

When our meditation avatar realizes this, they are able to return to their heart, instead of staying stuck in frustration at the lack of guidance and orientation. Returning to the heart means awakening to a sense of wonder and yearning. The yearning and imagination allows us to connect with something magical just beyond the veil of our sight.

Perhaps this is where we are moving towards. We are in a birth cycle where the place we will find ourselves can only be navigated through our connection to our hearts and the awareness of our yearning. We must practice heart-centering and our trusting open imaginations to move smoothly through this next realm. So that is the invitation . . . . now how do we do that?

Some Practical Advice:

My intuitive guidance tends to come in the form of story, allegory, and symbolism. I have spent over 20 years learning to navigate my own downloads of spirit wisdom. Sometimes words drop in, clear and simple, but more often than not, they take me on a journey to discover meaning and insight. This goose chase is surely a part of the fun and also makes up my unique translation device. I am a storyteller, so spirit wisdom moves through me as story.

I am also a Taurus and so I enjoy earthly comforts and clear, forward-moving instructions. It is always a goal of mine in my sessions and in these writings to cook down the story into something you can hold and implement. So let’s look at this Moon story from a pragmatic perspective. The Capricorn flavor of this particular Full Moon would also appreciate clear and organized directives.

1. Purging: The first level of advice is to release everything and anything that does not serve you. That means cleaning out the fridge, the closet, the bathroom drawers, your body, your mind of anything that is past its expiration, does not fit, or bring you joy. As much as you can sort through and sift out of your life the better. There is so much physical flotsam acquire and then held onto out of a historical need for safety that does not serve us. Each physical release is an energetic recovery.

2. Exploring our edges: Simply becoming aware of our old fears will help us to turn towards them and bring compassionate curiosity to their current moment validity. Often our fears are outdated or borrowed burdens from others in our life. It is ok to lean into your soul consciousness’ inherent fearlessness and vigor.

3. You are not alone: Just like the Moon story told, we are being held and watched over even if our guides are sometimes silently encouraging us to find our own way. Feeling into that sense of protective guidance that surrounds us can bring us back into remembrance that our Earth Walk is sacred, intentional, impactful, and supported. If you haven’t considered this existential framework before, now is the perfect time to start adopting it. You may notice, as a form of bodily discernment, that this idea brings your power back to you and puts wind in your sails. This is a good sign of an idea worth holding.

4. Identify our yearning, values, dreams, and goals: Coming into our heart means being able to be present, open, and connective. We feel ourselves in the present moment as a physical sensation all the way in the soles of our feet, the tips of our fingers, and in our hearts. From this locus of focus we can feel our desire and delight. We need to allow ourselves to yearn and dream, this is the fuel that moves our human vehicle forward. We are recovering from eons of being motivated by fear, so this is an entirely new way of living. Be patient with yourself and simply experiment with this new way of imagining, creating, and moving.

5. Design your spaces to reflect your desires: If you would like to be doing more art and less scrolling, have a place to make art where the supplies are organized, inspiring, and accessible. Conversely, have a place to put your phone that is out of sight and out of mind. We can orient our physical reality to express our yearning and goals. Remember that as a human vehicle you can benefit from addressing your fuel and friction. In the above example the fuel is the feeling you get from making art. You reduced friction by making the materials visible and easy to access. You increased friction on the activity that you no longer wish to engage, which in this case was addictive scrolling, by putting the phone away and making it harder to get to. We have the power and ability to be the architects of our physical environment to support our emerging desires and values.

6. Your Imagination is Magic: Do what you can to pump life into your imagination. In my experience, that means giving myself time to daydream and stare at the sky. Practice the art of directing your attention, down to your heart, and out in the direction of your choosing. When we imagine something, especially a solution to a problem we have encountered, we are adding that thought into the collective consciousness stream. Even if it is not ours to enact, birth, or build, the energetic matrix of its existence has been contributed. You imagination is an essential player in our collective awakening!

Welcome to the New Moon leading up to the Solstice!

In the Northern Hemisphere we are sliding into Summer and the energy is popping. We are moving fast towards a death / birth threshold that is squeezing us all in our own particular ways. How are you being squeezed?

Every New Moon is a good time to shed the old and point ourselves in the direction of our goals and values. But this New Moon is amplified . . . like everything right now, it’s just a little bit more with the muchness.

It feels like the more we physically shed, the more light we bring in and light is the commodity of the moment.

Our key ally in all of this is the body. The body can help us move energy through by the way that we breathe and the way that we move. Right now we are balancing between the lightning speed of activity and the conscious choice to slow down, breathe into the moment, and sink into the love that is rising up through the surface of everything.

So naturally, this video teaching contains a simple breathing technique, my own version of the Box Breath that I call Tree Breathing. I hope this and the reading with the New Moon serves you well!

For the last two years I have met you in this space twice a month, sometimes more, to share poetry, reflections, and insight from my intuitive relationship with the Moon. I started this project for a few key reasons:

1. I wanted to exercise my muscle of writing as a form of expression

2. I wanted to devote myself to becoming more aware of the Moon Cycles and how these cycles naturally are here to guide us

3. I wanted to create an online space where I could nourish a community of folks on an evolutionary path

I believe I have accomplished those goals! WooHoo! That’s always worth celebrating!

I am mostly proud that I’ve been consistent, which as a creative can be quite a huge hurdle.

If you have been here with me the whole time, thank you! If you have been a subscriber and especially a paid subscriber, THANK YOU! Honestly, knowing that there are folks who have committed their precious finances to supporting my written expression has been the accountability partnership I needed to keep showing up even when it was hard.

For those of you who are new here or who felt called to circle back, Welcome!

You have caught me at a turn in the road which feels appropriate for the times.

Up to this point I have written articles and recorded teachings from an activated place of intuitive connection. I have been true to the information coming in from the Moon and my Council of guides, delivering the messages in a way that aimed at being useful and also poetically vague at times. I believe we were trying to meet people in the middle place. The words wanted to support, inspire, love and soothe you as the reader, without creating friction or eliciting fear.

But I realized, I wasn’t in the words as much as I could be as a person who is also on this path. There is a professional distance in my style of writing on this kind subject and I am now longing for something a little different. Maybe you are longing for that too?

I want to write what I am calling “Diary Entries” that talk a little more close in and also way out there, taking a zoomed out snap shot of what is happening in our world from my point of view and how it is impacting me.

This feels vulnerable.

Both because I don’t want to alienate anyone by being “too weird” (whatever that is) and also I might feel compelled to share details of my personal life that would feel exposing. Who knows?

What I do know is I want to feel free!

So I will continue to write with the Moon in the rhythms that I have devoted myself to and I will begin to write simply from my inner flow too. I hope this serves you and your own process of becoming as much as it will undoubtedly help mine.

SO here we go. . . Dear Diary,

Everything feels like it is falling apart and also falling together simultaneously.

I was having tea with a friend the other day and she asked me how to hold this feeling of quiet panic that she feels about the likeliness that we are about to experience some form of financial and systemic collapse. How can we experience that sensation of foreboding and not run around in every direction like a person who’s hair is on fire?

I responded that it feels important to me that we stay calm and also prepare what we feel called to prepare. For example, my family and I have been picking up a few extra bags of dried beans and rice, some canned foods, and dried fruit at the grocery store each week. Nonchalantly getting a little bit more than we need. We plan to get some 5 gallon buckets that seal tight to fill with this little squirrel’s nest of food. No big deal. Just some extra meals for us and our neighbors should we need it.

At school my 15 year old had an emergency preparedness assignment which was so simple, it was just to have a family discussion about what our plan is in the case of a disaster such as an earthquake. She avoided this assignment for over a month because it was stressing her out.

The other morning at breakfast I broke the seal. Over our customary granola and fruit we talked about the best places to hang out in our home if an earthquake was happening. We talked about the place where we would all meet up afterwards, if we weren’t together when it happened and cell phones weren’t working. We actually nominated my friend’s home, the one who was quiet panicking, to be the safe house since she lives near us in a single story home with a big yard.

Then I showed my kids where the emergency duffle bag is located under a bed. Some more food, water pouches, water filters, first aid, and emergency blankets are stored inside.

All of this was presented with a calm air of curiosity and grounded, collective decision making. The kids stayed attentive, they took it seriously, but also weren’t worried.

I think this is how we should approach this conversation too.

Honestly, life is crazy right now. So much is changing, shifting, crashing, and ending. It is happening to each of us personally in its own unique way and it is happening to our communities, our educational system, our governments, and our world as well.

Our mammal bodies can’t help but to focus on the “collapse” idea, the precarious teetering on the edge feeling we have when we know something big is happening. And I believe it is.

What we don’t spend enough time focusing on though is the joyous shift and astounding transition we are all a part of and a witness to. Many of us are ready for the birth, the REBIRTH, of a new way to be alive on this planet, a new form of being in community, in communion with the nature, and in balance with the act of living. We are ready to see it emerge, so we also need to be willing to put up with the old world pulling apart at the seams.

Death is not a failure, ending is not a mistake. It is a natural course in the cycle.

Let’s pause for Public Service Announcement:

One of my favorite Spirt quotes and turning points for me on my journey is when I went from desperately seeking to know and understand “how it all works” to being ok having a flexible mind, seeking truth through a felt sense of remembering it in my body when I encountered it, and also just being ok not knowing.

Spirit said, “It doesn’t matter what is true or not true, it matters how it affects you. If it is an idea that brings your power back it is an idea worth cultivating. If it is an idea that takes your power away it is worth releasing”.

So this is my invitation for you in this next part (and in general with everything you encounter)!

We have heard plenty about the breakdown,
but what is actually happening?

I believe, along with many others, that we are transitioning into a different frequency of existence on Earth, from 3D to 5D. This is a really BIG deal. We have travelled as far as we can into the density of the human mind, into the distortion field of what we can make up to wield power over each other and the planet, and now the tide is lifting us to a new octave. Dominion domination systems are and will continue to topple. Heart-centered action will be the new way.

I also believe that there is more help here in the beyond physical realms than we can possibly imagine. I believe in a wild array of help that wants us to succeed in this mission. I read the other day that Earth is the densest planet of life in our whole universe. I had never really considered it before.

But here is the thing about truth, I believe we know truth through remembering it like a flush of “aha” about something we forgot to remember until that moment.

The idea that we are on the densest inhabited planet in our universe and that never before has such a dense planet tried to upshift with her biosphere intact was so exciting to me, but also felt just neutrally true.

I believe our souls had to petition to be here and that we are the lucky ones who have the privilege of playing vital roles in the big play. Every client I have ever worked with has been absolutely surrounded by beings of light who feel some variation of compassion, celebration, admiration, unconditional love, and kindly-humored sweetness towards their person.

We all have a team helping us because our job of being human is both super important and incredibly hard at times.

The most important thing we could do is to devote ourselves to standing in our own unique Light and offering to be of assistance to this process in a way that honors ourSelves, our place in the whole, and our current capacity to give.

So now how do we do that? How am I doing that?

The first thing I am noticing is I’m saying “no” to what drains me and diminishes me.

This has not been easy and my brain can do somersaults and wrestle itself sometimes over letting go of people, animals, and situations that don’t quite feel right, especially when what that being or situation represents is something I want or feel I need in life. However, when I do let go, I feel myself lighten, brighten, and exhale with relief.

I have also been letting go of STUFF. I am astounded at how much stuff a family of 4 (or sometimes 5) can accumulate. I say, “sometimes 5” because we are in the process of preparing to move into a house again as a family of 5. My three kids have spent the last 3 years bouncing between two homes, as most kids of separated parents tend to do. The place where our story diverges from the typical family tale is in how my co-parent and I have parked parallel over the last year, with apartments next door to each other, creating brackish waters between our two homes and learning to be trusted friends, committed co-parenting partners, and resolvedly platonic in nature.

Now we are buying a new house in an intentional co-housing community and looking to start a new shared household with a clean slate. Less stuff, more systems, better collaboration, and community to share mutual care with. We are very excited and understandably a little bit nervous.

The gentle sorting, culling, packing, and releasing of the physical possessions we no longer need is glorious. We even have a temporary small storage unit so we can remove packed boxes as they come into being and release the bulk from our individual spaces.

I am looking you deep in the eyes now and placing my hands gently on your shoulders when I say, “Do this”.

It’s ok if you aren’t moving. Start with one category at a time like clothes, toys, water bottles, bags, etc, just start somewhere, bring it all into your touch radius. Hold each item and ask your body “keep or release?”. You will be amazed at the relief this brings!

**If you feel resistance, I completely understand. Commit to doing this with one category of possession for 5 minutes. Literally set a time and start. You may keep going, who knows?

Just imagine that with each physical thing that leaves your space, an equivalent package of pure light is being deposited. Light of this magnitude isn’t empty, it is full and it wants to hold you steady.

Lastly, I am making art all the time now.

I have a bag of paint pens and a little notebook wherever I go. Letting myself express freely, imperfectly, and in an exploratory ways is how I self-soothe and also give form to what is all around me beyond my human eyes’ ability to perceive it. What I love about expression is the ability to bring it through and then feed myself (and others sometimes) with what I create.

The images in this post are straight out of my little notebook. I could tell a story about each one and what I was processing at the time and where I was at the time I was doing it . . . but I won’t.

There is just so much more I want to tell you, but for now I believe I have said enough. I have said plenty :)

A Moon Bite of Some Size:

Happy Full Moon, Loves! Each month I have the pleasure of sitting in meditation with the Full and New Moons to bring down an intuitive reading on behalf of our community. I then translate that into an anchor poem and share some reflections to make this insight into something practical.

This month the Moon showed me images of unfolding. A tightly bound bud cracking open, like a baby chick from an egg, full of so much life it couldn’t bear to keep it all inside anymore.

This blossom was luminous, glowing from within, and impossibly abundant. Petal after petal after petal, infinitely unfolding.

I could feel that blossom located above me, above each one of us, readying itself to bask in the Sun. Just out of reach, where it can be felt but not seen.

And then the stem travelled smoothly down. Along the spine, through the center of the body, running deep into the Earth, terminating in roots that spread out and take up space.

The only direct instruction seemed to be for us to aid the smoothing, the gentling of the stem through the body.

What does that mean and how do we do that?

Perhaps it goes back to the “work as little as possible” guidance. In order for the energy that is incoming to make it through us and into the ground we have to be relaxed. This doesn’t mean we aren’t able to be active, but in this activity may we stay open and gentle.

It brings to mind my first Eastern Energy instructor, teaching us Qi Gong and Shiatsu. One day this teacher memorably talked about how all our Qi (energy) circulates in our bodies and pools in our bellies. Then he patted his big belly like an Abundance Buddha and laughed about how rich in Qi he was. He asked us all to sit up straight and relax our bellies to let the Qi circulate and flow.

As a woman, I’ve been socialized to always suck it in. Compress the belly to feel less shame. This compression and contraction is something many of us feel throughout the body as a response to trauma, negative beliefs, and old stories.

Sometimes we are not smoothly flowing rivers.

We can be full of damns, reservoirs, and dead ends.

We are meant to flow, to meander, and to have a diversity of internal terrains.
Our river is meant to find the ocean.

So this is the invitation, to discover what you need to allow the flow.

For me it involves laying in the grass under the dappled light of a tree. Breathing my belly into the ground and painting. Oh yes, painting, drawing, scribbling. Making color on a surface of some sort feels so good to me right now. You don’t need to identify as an artist to make art.

The other nugget of possibility is to take pauses whenever possible and move slower, edit your day so there is space around activities.

We have to gentle ourselves through.

This is not a work-harder, get there faster sort of moment. It is a chaos leads to order moment, and it benefits us to relax into the way the waves are moving through.

Happy Full Moon, May Day, and Beltane!!

This powerful moment is encapsulating a sacred threshold into the next arena of our growth towards liberated expression. That’s a mouthful and a powerful intention!

I have been obsessed lately with the music of Jacob Collier who has been skirting the edges of my vision for the past few years. What he does with live, improvised orchestration is heartbreakingly beautiful and awe inspiring in the same breath.

But his public journey all began over a decade ago when he was a wee lad with a series of remarkable youtube videos in which he plays as an orchestra of one, harmonizing with himself and playing a full band’s worth of instruments. Jacob has the amazing ability to find and give voice to invisible notes that others don’t know exist.

I have been asking myself why at this time has my attention turned in the direction of his work?

In fact, why am I writing about this in a Full Moon article?

Bare with me folks, I’ll come around to the point here, I promise!

One facet of the answer is that Jacob Collier is widely considered a genius and people are often enamored with folks who have unique abilities. Perhaps these mesmerizing talents opens us up to the possibility our own untapped potential.

The specific word people use for his brand of genius is “musical polymath”, the ability to bridge math and music, bringing us into contact with the very fabric of our existence. The way he conducts his voice, an entire orchestra, and even his audience to weave a living tapestry of musically vibrant threads is evocative of this moment.

When I checked in with the Full Moon about this cosmic moment, what she showed me was a container, slender and translucent. It was tapered and open at the top and bottom, but thickly bulbous in the middle.

In the center of the container, little pockets of darkness were rising, like orcs birthing from the inner Earth. As scary as this sounds, the Moon assured me that the darkness is contained and yet visible to be witnessed.

Then the sound began.

Light beings began to sing from all directions across the circle. Each sound had its own color and vibrancy, its own shape and style. As these shimmering threads of song brushed past the container they thickened the walls . This felt instantly calming and reassuring. The light infused the container with color and dissolved the rising darkness, resolving the chaos energy on contact.

The Moon showed me one more thing.

If we fix our attention on the darkness, we start to feel the energy of it reflected in our own body. We worry that we have become infected by the darkness, however, she showed me how it is only a reflex response.

The instruction was to be fearless in releasing the reflection of darkness,

no longer claiming it as ours to carry.

We then can command our attention on the sound and light incoming to help. As in the wise words of Fred Rogers:

“Find the helpers”

Back to Jacob Collier for a moment.

This help is coming from the unseen realms AND from us. We are each capable of becoming a thread in the song of love bombarding that which contains the rising darkness.

And rise it will, rise it must.

Because if we can see it, we can heal it.

And we need to heal the accumulation of wounding to move forward.

Each struggle, each challenge, every so-called failure has the capacity to become a medicine-making moment.

Compassion,

wisdom,

insight and

life-altering understanding

sprouts from

the visible decay

of our deepest pain,

if we choose to hold

these life bumps

in a generative light.

~Spirit

Remember all of this is a choice and the world is full of living examples of the alternative. We can struggle, suffer, fail and not get back up. We can decide the world is against us and we have no choice or power to change our circumstances.

In truth, we always have a powerful choice.

We get to choose where we place our attention and what story we tell about what we are experiencing.

It is through this level of engagement with life’s wildly unpredictable and often deeply uncomfortable challenges that we earn the ability to discover who we truly are, what we value, and how we are equipped to help others.

That is your song, your colorful thread, your healing emanation.

AND the World needs You right now in all your unique vibrancy!

This is your official invitation, no perfection need apply.

All people, all living things, are part of the earth life, and so are sacred.

No one of us stands higher or lower than any other.

Only justice can assure balance: only ecological balance can sustain freedom.

Only in freedom can that fifth sacred thing we call spirit flourish in its full diversity.

Full Moon Feast:

Since our Tiny Moon Bite overflowed into the full feast this month, I would simply like to offer a quick exercise to bring these ideas into practice!

To grasp onto your particular thread of the tapestry, or sound in the orchestra, you need to deepen your understanding of yourself and your values.

Take a moment in your journal to write about what you notice in your home that feels like it represents you. When you look around your space, what brings you joy?

This free write can be aided by a time limit for some, like setting a 1-3 minute timer. Others find time limits to be oppressive, so do what is right for you!

When you reflect on what you were drawn to in your personal space, get curious about what qualities and values they represent. For example, if photos of your travels caught your eye, perhaps you value experiencing other cultures first hand.

If you were resonating with the books on your bookshelf, notice the books that call to you the most. You might hold a value towards learning something particular or exploring a certain kind of storytelling.

I personally found myself staring at a collage I made during a community ceremony a couple years ago. I know this is showing me that I value making art as a form of self discovery and I receive extra joy from doing this in community with others.

The second practice that pops in for this month is thinking about what you do / experience in your life either daily, monthly, seasonally, or annually, that brings you joy. How do your actions represent your values? Are you being nourished enough in this way? Can you commit to more experiences of joy in the coming months?

We are in a place of massive shift and a deluge of new energies flooding our bodies. It is important that we tend to ourselves, weeding out what doesn’t serve us , so that we can make room for what does. This is a threshold and as with all gateways, part of us and our past will be stripped away as we walk through.

I send you my ardent wish that you hold onto what is true to you, what is joyous in your expression, and let everything else fall to your feet and you walk through from “the time before” to “what comes next.”

Tiny Moon Bite:

Welcome to the Pink Full Moon of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere! This sweet faced Moon of new beginnings is also necessarily the Moon of endings, darkness, and the void. From darkness we emerge, “dar a luz”, brought into the Light.

We can not hope for rebirth without being willing to withstand the death that precedes it.

This Full Moon showed us a clear reflection, so uncanny and solid, it calls us near. We come so close to the surface of the threshold between this and that, between what was and what will be, that we fall through to the other side.

There we find only pre-birth darkness, the realm of feeling and sensation before we had the eyes and words to know.

This is a time of tectonic shifting, from one day to the next, a place where we can not demand certainty.

This space is not for us to control.

We can only hope to feel, trust, and act when it is our time.

Until then, rest and listen. Allow yourself your edges, knowing and respecting your gentle limits. When we rest, we grow and change. So rest when your body calls you down.

The Little the Big and Everything In Between:

This lunation cycle has been like nothing I have yet experienced. I have been taken under and through with a black hole flow of flu and pneumonia, birthed through a dark space of nothingness back into the world of the living. I am still on a healing journey, but I can once again breathe in the world and I have the energy to rise. Due to my “still in recovery” space, we will have a slightly less intensive article this month and I thank you for what I can only imagine is your compassion and understanding.

First, let’s break down the reading from the Full Moon Eclipse magic. The Moon showed me images of re-emerging from darkness. Opening eyes that have been closed. The inbreathe that comes after the outbreathe. The natural respiratory reality that we live in.

Surely many of you have heard the term, “Dark Night of the Soul” and I am sure many of you could identify chapters of your life that would qualify as such. The beauty of the messaging was that this darkness is necessary for the Light. The closure is necessary for the opening.

Rest assured, this is a time of utter chaos.

Everyone is experiencing it in one way or another. The way it shows up for you will be entirely tailor made to fit the reality you have been living in and the reality you are trying to birth yourself into.

This is a time for courage, action, and rest.

We must know the truth that is nestled within our hearts and then we must have the courage to express it into the world. We must not be bullied by internal or external forces into the imprisonment of our own silence.

We are invited to know ourselves and be heard.

We are also invited to rest. Rest communicates to your body that you are safe. And you are safe. You are held by this Earth, by the Cosmos, by the great mysterious tapestry that carries us on our path. And your ability to trust that you will meet yourself with integrity at whatever challenges life offers, allows you to enter more fully into the present moment and listen to your body when it is seeking rest.

Dear Reader,

This reading will be abbreviated. I didn’t want to fail to show up at the party of all Moon Parties, as we sit on the Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse as well as our first Eclipse of Eclipse Season. But, unfortunately I am recovering from pneumonia and everything is proving extra challenging.

Here is the shorthand of the Moon’s advice:

The New Moon is always a time to release the old and call in the new, so this one is that same intention amplified.

I have been feeling from this Moon cycle in general a DEEP release of everything fear based that the body is holding on to. Stress in all its forms is derived from fear, and it must go. Notice it as a warning that something needs your attention, discern what the attention is that is needed, and allow the circumstances as you find them to exist.

The other message the Moon offered, beyond let it ALL go, was that there will be one diamond truth left behind and that is a special tool for cutting through the illusion. Something we all need right now.

Take care of yourselves out there and remember that you are worthy of rest,

Your Tiny Moon Bite:

These are complex times on Planet Earth and many people are hurting, feeling scared, angry, confused, and alone.

We are together in this. We are here together in this thick soup of unrest, the metamorphic goop of the chrysalis. And many of us are searching for the right action, the way to be rooted in this moment, or perhaps the best way to numb the feelings that feel too much to bear.

This is why the Full Moon’s advice is so soothing, she brings a simple set of instructions for managing the muchness of the moment.

Seek out the Light.

Become the amplifying mirror for that Light and shine it everywhere, especially in the places and into the people who are hurting.

Then recharge.

Just like the Moon is not the producer of the Light she carries, she is the one who projects it into the darkness.

She protects us. She heals us. She cares.

You can also be like the Moon in this way. Trust that the light will find its way through the cracks of wounding and heal.

You deserve to heal. We deserve to heal. The world deserves to heal.

And so we will.

Full Moon Feast:

The Full Moon arrived this month blurry around the edges. She was obscured, clouded eyes, milky white, under a veil of the old . . . the memories of what came before.

This Full Moon is the final shedding of the Wood Snake Year and when I was communing with her she sent an image of our corn snake when she was a baby and needed our help shedding.

At the very end of her sheds, the old skin would sometimes get stuck.

I would have to cradle her in my hand and wrap a warm, wet wash cloth around her tail to soften the final attachments struggling to let go. Without this help, the old shedding would threaten to strangle her tail tip, which could then fall off.

Warm water is here to help us too and is the first level of advice presenting this month. Stay hydrated, drawing in the warm healing water inside and out.

Allow your shower and bath time to become a holy cleansing of all the emotion, energy, and memory you no longer need to carry. Trust that the Earth will filter and renew what you let go of. This is not a burden, it is a gift.

We are here at a time of great turning and where we are headed requires us to have a lighter load. So allow all the forces of Light that are trying to heal you, relieve you, and clear you to do what they came for.

What this might mean for you:

Take the pauses as they come. We are rewriting our patterns.

Slow down and reduce noise. Listen and feel before you act.

Allow the internal questions about who you are and how you have been moving through life to arise gently and let them reveal parts of you who are ready to transform from survival mode to thrival mode.

There is no need to blame, shame, or deflect away parts of your old programming, simply notice and allow it to change.

While so many of us are being drawn outside of ourselves and magnetized to the ills of the world at large, it is the lighthouse in our own hearts where our greatest impact lies.

We must first allow the love that shines from us to be full and mutual, shining in as much as it shines out. Then we must make sure the beam is strong enough to illuminate the hearts of those who are closest to us. We want this beam to be strong enough to reach into the community and through the strength of this proximal commitment, it will.

This isn’t a race or competition.

There is no audience that needs your performance of self to award you the prize of being worthy to be loved.

You are

Worthy of Love

Worthy of Belonging

Worthy of Rest

Worthy of Safety

We all are Inherently Worthy

This Insight Isn’t Enough:

We need to practice our own version of recharge to regulate our nervous systems so that we can embody what we already know.

We are natural channels for insight. You, your body, your belly, your heart, your brain are all specially designed to draw in Universal Truth.

However, if your body isn’t settled, if it is running an automated program of stress and fear, these insights that come in will not change your lived experience.

And insight is intended to change you.

Ground This!

Our focus must then be on creating new pathways for regulation, through regular rhythms and recharge moments throughout the day.

What we are finding in our Awaken8 community is that we need to start the day strong with micro-practices to help us stay regulated and grounded throughout the day.

The best way to do this is to make a short list of all the morning habits you already have in place, such as: washing your face, brushing your teeth, drinking a hot beverage, eating breakfast, taking a shower, walking the dog, packing lunches, journalling etc.

Once you have this list think of each of these morning moments as potential anchor points for some sort of micro practice that will strengthen your present moment awareness, soothe your nervous system, and reinforce the new neural pathways you need to integrate the insights you gather.

Next, pair an anchor point with a simple sensory awareness moment. This will light up the parts of your brain needed for self-regulation and strengthen the pathways needed to get back there throughout the day. The best part is, it only takes 10 seconds (or three breaths) to have a lasting impact. Every second or minute beyond that is a bonus.

Here are some examples to choose from:

• Pause to listen for the farthest away sound you can hear

• Pause to listen to the closest sound your can hear, such as your breath or heart

• Pause to feel the sensation of the wind on your face when you exit the house

• Pause to feel your feet on the ground and all the sensations of the floor as you brush your teeth

• Pause to smell your morning beverage for 10 seconds before you take your first sip

• Pause to look at, feel with your mouth, then taste your first bite of food before chewing

• Pause to gently rub your finger tips together to see if you can feel the ridges of your finger prints on both fingers

• Pause to stare at something in the natural world outside the window and let your mind focus in on the colors, textures, shapes, movements

• Pause to stare at something close by and imagine what it would be like to touch it, then reach out and touch the object with intention. Notice if your predications were accurate!

Look at your list of morning anchors and pair at least one anchor with one sensory break. Build up from there!

Some Secret Sauce Solutions:

• Morning Sensory Breaks can help you gain confidence, momentum, and lead you towards designing new structures that support your larger goals.

• Make it Microscopic: Recharging like the Moon suggests can take many forms as diverse as you. You probably already know what recharges you and what would be delightful to do more often as a habit. When creating new habits, feel free to think big and then commit small. If you have a goal of working out for 1 hour three times a week, perhaps start with 10 minutes once a week on a specific day, at a specific time, and anchored to an existing habit. Gain momentum and keep adding as the action becomes a stabilized ritual.

• Anything we track we can improve: Keep track of your daily tally of sensory breaks. This helps you relive the moments when you paused and gives you a rich point of reflection at the end of the day.

• Celebrate! Every time you take a micro step (or leap) in the direction you want to move in, acknowledge it! This will help to pave your new neural pathways with some dopamine induced gravel.

• Remember your goal is to become gently aware of your ritual of living. From that vantage point you have the power to grant yourself creative license to re-design your rituals and habits so that they support you in becoming the person you want to be in the world. Strengthening your resiliency and growing an emotionally grounded nervous system will allow you to show up in a way that helps you trust yourself more. Knowing you have the capacity to show up fully and lovingly to anything life has to offer is the best insurance policy around.

I hope these tips, hints, and ideas are helpful in smoothing the transition we are all now in the midst of.

This first New Moon of 2026, is also the last New Moon of the Lunar Year of the Wooden Snake which is rapidly shedding the old. We are moving into the Lunar Year of the Fire Horse and we can already feel the burn.

This New Moon reading gifted us with the instruction to come into a refined understanding of where we are coming from, where we are headed, and how we will get there.

I recommend engaging in a little meditation to define the specificity of these three facets in your life. Asking for clarity will help you simplify the focal point as you build your vehicle and navigational system for this year.

And then remember baby steps.

Take small daily actions to move the needle in your own life toward your most powerful, awakened, and loving future possibility.

Happy Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere!!

This is a time of rest and celebration, but also a time when we welcome the returning Light.

Traditionally we treat this threshold as a time to re-assess our navigational direction and course correct where needed.

The reading this month with the New Moon took this a few steps further, talking about clearing the ancestral roots so that the whole tree is stronger and more stable. This new found vibrancy is put to immediate good use in coming to renewed clarity on our intention, our “why”.

Lastly, the Moon asks us to make a commitment of some sort to our goal. What small step can you take in the direction you want to travel? What rhythm does this commitment fit into? Is it a daily, weekly, or monthly practice?

This is your chance to re-write your ritual of living, which we must always remember is a creative choice!

Tiny Moon Bite:

This Full SuperMoon in Gemini brings us a little extra magic with the Moon in such close proximity to Earth. She is so close we can almost reach out and touch her.

Last night, as I struggled to fall into a deep-enough-to-feel-rested sleep, I had a vision of walking on the Moon. No spacesuit required in dreamtime, I bounced lightly on my feet, reveling in the reduced gravity that made me feel like I could fly. Like a Shaolin Monk recently relieved of my weights.

I realized perhaps I have been here before. As a child I often had dreams of “losing gravity” in which I would begin to float, seemingly released from the anchor that our bodies ordinarily feel on Earth.

As a child this terrified me and as an adult I learned to control it. Now I can leap, fly, and maneuver the reduced gravity with skill when I am able to attain lucidity in dreamtime.

Last night, the Light Side of the Moon was a projection screen for the future. I could see dimensions and realities birthing on her surface, holographic in nature, yet solid enough to engage. Is the Moon our nighttime theater?

So I was not surprised when in meditation today, I asked our Grandmother Moon if she had any special message for me to relay to you, and she showed me a single luminous flower blooming. Through the light that the petals cast I could see the future revealed in fragmented slivers.

The Future is here and it is calling us. It is time to enter into a daydream about the beautiful world you want to inhabit and the bravery to believe it is possible.
