Vizsla Copper’s Palmer project drilling results (Southeast Alaska, copper-zinc VMS): 49.2 m grading 4.7% CuEq (incl. 27 m grading 8.4% CuEq in the high-grade core of Zone 1); program expanded to ~12,250 m. On the Lassonde Curve: I plot them on the bull-market version of my Lassonde Curve 2.0 — still about halfway into a conceptual project with three in the hopper; they have around a C$137M market value, with a path that could peak toward C$1–5B if they keep delivering this kind of high-grade copper. Craig Parry and the team are focused on high-grade.

Errington Metals’ Errington Zone drilling results (Ontario): 11 m grading 6.41% CuEq in hole 086; polymetallic copper-zinc-lead-gold-silver, zone open at depth, model hanging together. On the Lassonde Curve: I plot them about midway in the sweet spot on the left side of the classic Lassonde Curve 2.0; they have around a C$284M market value, still a long way up the left side in what I see as elephant country.

Southern Cross Gold’s Sunday Creek / Apollo drilling results (near Fosterville, Australia): my Fosterville 2.0 story — orogenic high-grade gold + antimony hanging together (e.g. 0.6 m @ 993 g/t Au; hole 227 with 5.1 m of nearly an ounce, incl. 2.6 m @ 51 g/t). On the Lassonde Curve: I classify them well past halfway up the left side on the bull-market version; they have around a C$3.29B market value at all-time highs, with takeover or JV potential (I’m totally speculating on names like Agnico Eagle) and torque left to gold, drilling, and a possible deal.

Market Overview (Finviz): a couple days ago I wrote that gold and silver looked ready for their next leg up — gold up almost 3% today, silver +3.36%, copper +0.79%. Death Spiral of Debt / broken fiat — own the metals. Gold through the 50-day and 200-day, maybe a month or less from a golden cross, toward $5,000 and the earlier-2026 all-time high. Yen stronger today; Japan dumping USTs is a risk I’m watching, not a fact on the tape. Servicing costs already over $1T while a war is on.

Pirate Gold’s Moby Dick drilling results (Treasure Island, Newfoundland): 0.24% CuEq over 299 m incl. 0.43% / 56.5 m; 100 m step-out; barge + Mobile MT under Crippleback to vector into the guts of the system. I’m a shareholder. On the Lassonde Curve: I classify them at ~10% up the left side; they have around a ~C$100M market value; with a potential for C$1–3B valuation if the district proves out.

Kirkland Lake Discoveries’ Morado West drilling results: 1.22 g/t / 69.5 m; footprint expanded to >1,300 m; my model is for champagne-glass shaped open pit + orogenic feeders as the stem of the champagne glass. I’m a shareholder. They have a ~C$74M market value; I plot them as only ~20% into my sweet spot on the left side of the Lassonde Curve; with a potential for a C$1B valuation with additional success growing the resource and following the orogenic high-grade gold veins deeper.

Amex’s Perron portal and ramp update news: portal done, production-sized underground ramp for ~40kt bulk sample (~0.5 oz/t Champagne Zone). They are in my Unicorn radar screen. They have a ~C$681M market value; early development / left side of phase 4 of the Lassonde Curve with excellent potential to move up the right side of the curve.

Contango Silver & Gold drilling news from their Lucky Shot project (Alaska): 2.45 m @ 87.6 g/t; they are currently a junior miner on a path to mid-tier status which is why I see them as a Unicorn. They have a ~C$911M; and a pipeline to grow into a mid-tier miner with high margins. Mid-tiers are priced at C$10–20B at $4,500 Au so they have slingshot potential from growing production and gold going higher.

Bessent tried recently to save the Yen Carry Trade and that hasn’t worked out, and his effort to prop up the long end of the yield curve is failing as well.

Warsh tried to build up his credibility of being focused on fighting inflation when he spoke at the Jackson Hole meeting. While the bond vigilantes seem very worried about inflation and the Death Spiral of Debt and unsustainable cost of servicing the debt.

It is alarming that as the U.S is in a war, the cost of servicing the debt exceeds defence spending. Which is a big wake up call.

No wonder the central bankers are loading up on gold and by the day there are more reasons for them to fill up their boots.

Meanwhile, QE is underway from the Fed since November of 2025, and now the Bessent wants to manipulate the long end of the yield curve. Which is very bullish for gold.

Last year, the Fed’s Jackson Hole conference was the beginning of a very strong move for gold that lasted right until the war in Iran started. It also brought silver into the party in a big way.

Copper has soft supply and growing demand is a powerful combination for the copper price. Over the past year the chart has gone from the lower left to the top right and is making new record highs.

Yet, the gold stocks, silver stocks and copper stocks are subdued with a lack of confidence. Poor sentiment on the metals stocks, while gold, silver and copper are in bull markets is a wonderful opportunity for contrarians.
