By now, everyone knows Enes Kanter Freedom: the former NBA center and future WNBA draftee making a name for himself in recent weeks for calling out the hypocrisy of the latter league’s policy of “inclusivity” at the expense of that W.

But Kanter has made more than headlines. He’s made some significant strides in exposing the reality of the self-identification fantasy through calling into public question who actually qualifies as a woman.

Until a slight hiccup.

Kanter has offered the WNBA an opportunity for a “peace summit” where he and its commissioner could have a chance to calmly debate the concept of men playing in women’s sports, all moderated by his buddy, token conservative trans-identifying man, Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner.

While anyone is entitled to a personal choice of friendships and views, everyone else is still entitled to reality, especially from someone who has been promising to fight for it thus far. Unfortunately, we have run into a slight deviation here (and I don’t just mean Jenner’s fetish) through Kanter‘s decision to refer to his male friend “she.“

This is a bit of hypocrisy that is difficult to overlook when coming from an individual attempting to battle the ludicrosity of self-identification yet actively participating in it himself, and the dissonance does deserve some parsing.

After all, if Kanter is calling Jenner, an indisputable man, “she,“ what exactly does that mean?

Either Kanter believes that he is indeed a woman, in which case he has sadly been conned himself. Logically, if Jenner qualifies as a woman, he then qualifies as eligible for women’s sports as well. In which case, of course, so does Kanter and every other man who would like to play after all.

Or, on the other more likely hand, if Kanter is doing so out of politeness, he is willingly buying into the same issue he is alleging to fight: that “woman” is simply a superficial identity, chosen at whim and worn by any. It unfortunately becomes a case of “rules for thee, not for me,” where one’s preferred men are allowed the gift of womanhood, and that such allowance is based on others’ ideological and political standards.

But perhaps even more significant is what this means for the fight itself against self-identification…a newly chosen one for him, and the chronic one for which feminists’ never asked.

It doesn’t just call into question his personal legitimacy…it collapses legitimacy of the actual cause. If proponents are willing to extend leniency for certain men’s fantasies, why not for other men? If womanhood is extended to the man who liked trying on his daughters’ clothes, why not to a man who wants to don a woman’s uniform?

If self-identification is truly allowed sometimes and for some, that discretion can only apply equally for everyone and in any chosen situation.

None of this dissonance remotely inspires confidence in all those silently sitting on the fence…the ones genuinely watching and listening, and perhaps even looking for a reason to untether themselves from the cultural chains of the gender identity movement. It only undermines the effort otherwise.

In the end, all this ultimately proves is that the real crux of the problem has become lost along the way.

Kanter has certainly done good work in his advocacy, and some will undoubtedly say that feminists should pick their battles, as one can argue that Kanter’s celebrity has achieved more proliferation in the public sphere this past month then feminists have been able to in far longer time.

Aside from the fact that such reality only reinforces the inherent disparity that exists in the trans movement’s treatment of men versus women, this may be a newer and safer cause for certain men, but it is real life with real consequences for all women…even the ones who are not yet ready to admit as much.

So while this is an issue within sports, this is not a sports issue.

This is a women’s issue, a biology issue, an ethics issue, and an issue of one of the most basic truths on the planet. The harm of self-identification, and the need to fight it, simply does not end off the court and outside of leagues.

It’s extremely easy to only get caught up in the athletic aspect of this madness, as it encapsulates societal sanctities of minors, American pastimes, and money. But it must be remembered that this virus permeates every other part of modern society and female life not quite in the same spotlight, including protecting the necessities of single-sex restrooms, changing rooms, rape and domestic violence crisis centers, prisons, and certain medical care…not to even mention that little right to be acknowledged as a fully functioning sex of our own, not a flattened ideation of another’s.

It cannot go forgotten that this entire battle in the WNBA, and women’s spaces as a whole, was only made possible by the original choice to call any man “she” and strip that word of its sole, tangible meaning. The absolute fact of the matter is that there quite literally would never have been any theft of our leagues, awards, opportunities, and dignity without the theft of our language first.

The very reason that we are even in this mess is because society eventually decided that words no longer had value nor needed true meaning. It traded in collective verity for individual feelings, creating a perverse product of fantasy indulgence and flexibility of truth. And so we are currently living the external manifestation of the prioritization of the internal.

Concede language, concede reality. It was apparently the slipperiest slope possible to go from respecting false pronouns to demanding false inclusion. So not only is consistency key, it is nothing short of vital. And when it comes down to it, one cannot fully and effectively protect women’s rights if still selectively giving away our materiality. As we’ve all witnessed, the give-an-inch-take-a-mile crew has shown that to be stark and dark fact.

It began with “she,” and it ended with the need for summits on who a woman even is. After so much present failure, we owe the best chance of rectification to future generations so that they may one day be able to simply laugh at the utter asininity of a past coup against biological truth. And because despite the chauvinistic circusry that promotes otherwise, “she” still actually means something, for both women and essential reality at large…and in this situation and always, that is something worth holding on to.

Rape. Child abuse. Sharia law.

Anyone born and raised in the West is taught from birth that these crimes are unacceptable in modern society. And unless you are a criminal deviant, this is neither questioned nor up for discussion.

The United Kingdom should count as one of such Western nations. And yet it appears that their population is not fully aware of this, as on August 19, “promotional material” was released by the UK Home Office to help certain residents understand and come to terms with which behaviors are not actually acceptable.

The ethics refresher is titled “Understanding behaviors and expectations in the UK: a guide for asylum seekers,” and helps the morally-confused male brush up on the topics of gender equality, domestic abuse, sex and consent, and respect in public. Thank goodness it happens to all be published in English, as it’s fully assumed that all those seeking asylum from cultures with a propensity for such behavior in need of correction would certainly have English as their first language.

If only this foolproof guidance were released earlier. If those in need of it had access to such rules, it might have prevented an Afghan asylum seeker from raping a thirteen-year-old girl. Surely it would have caused a Syrian refugee to think twice before assaulting women near his complimentary migrant hotel housing. Or, perhaps if any and all members of that rape gang who absolutely must-not-be-named got the memo, there wouldn’t be anything to avoid naming in the first place.

What a pity the government hadn’t simply thought of this solution a bit sooner.

But imagine thinking that these black and white crimes are simply cultural misunderstandings to be remedied with little principle pamphlets…that the act of literally spelling out assumed morality will change the minds and behavior of those who possess none.

Then imagine which kind of people to whom you’re freely giving asylum within your society who would even need such a reminder to prevent your own people from needing asylum themselves.

Unfortunately, we do not have to imagine. The Home Office has made it quite explicit. And if one even has to state this at all, it’s already been admitted that one has a terrible problem.

That is the real issue at play: not that the UK is attempting to teach others ethical behavior, but that it has become mandatory to do so. It’s not that they offer the gift of asylum to those who need it, but that they have irresponsibly allowed so many who take advantage of altruism into their borders that it has become a blatant problem to actual citizens living within them. And it is not the dismal reality that other countries may be decaying from such immorality and backwardness, but that this government has actively chosen to import such hell into their own.

This conduct catalogue ironically catalogues the ultimate admission of failure: failure to govern, failure to protect, failure to ensure wellbeing for those who had entrusted them to do so.

It is an acknowledgement of understanding exactly what and who the problem is, yet callously continuing to insist on enabling its existence. As nations who concede their borders learn sooner rather than later, when it comes to mass migration and the issues it can import, women and children suffer first and most. And so this pathetic publication is an utter confession of betrayal of their women and children, as while feigning to be an enlightened society proud of upholding women’s rights and children’s safety, adult men’s desires became prioritized over these very needs.

Then again, such failings shouldn’t be all that surprising, given that the same officials responsible for this misogynistic mess are also the ones who pretend to not know what a woman even is. After all, this is a nation that had to take the definition of a woman to its highest court to decide, and worse, still refuses to consistently uphold its ruling. A place which created the mutilation mill of Tavistock, selling out the mental and physical health of minors to uphold a paraphilic ideology for adults. A government that purposely ignored the abuse of hundreds of thousands of its young women and girls because they feared the scarlet R of “racist” far more. All, of course, within a society where if one tweets about these travesties in an unbecoming manner, the Metropolitan Police just might come knocking.

At this rate, the Home Office is just steps away from simply handing out condoms with their brochures and calling it a day on societal standards.

This is all the inevitable outcome of the self-proclaimed “progressive” faction’s regressive compulsion to sacrifice reality at the altar of identity politics, where worth is based purely in ideology. Within this framework, facts become adjustable, lives become expendable, all in the crowning effort to promote a pristine outer image of humanity…while ignoring the true core of it.

As a result, such politically correct cowardice masquerading as liberalism will always end up protecting that which is actively destroying it, as it seems far easier, and perhaps more proper, to put a superficial bandage over a tumor rather than address and excise the cancer once and for all.

Like much of the European world rolling out the red carpet for its own Trojan horses, the UK is culturally crumbling under its own imposed weight of prioritizing political philanthropy. And though they’ve certainly done their best to ignore and sanitize the matter, their perverted values have established an extensive history of failing its women and children, which has finally come out in print for all to see. Whether there is a real future for them will be dependent on if and when their supposed leaders will finally stop trying to coddle their dregs of society and learn to say “no” to those who refuse to understand that word themselves.

It’s true that such public statements may be a political stunt designed to revv up one’s base and aid in coming elections. It’s also true that this plan is simply the next numerical illusion to feign soon-to-be success and distract from the reality that failure is inevitable.

But anyone who has personal objections to others’ objections against this Falestini fantasy must first ask the question:

Why are we here, physically still in Gaza and existentially in this limbo of deal delusions?

The answer to that is another date this week about which one won’t hear many screeching: 8/15/05.

The date that Israel left Gaza. The date that nearly ten thousand Jews were expelled from the land in order to gift it turnkey to another population. The date that Israel made the gigantic gamble which has only paid in dividends of pain.

It is said that only hindsight is 20/20, but every future sign was already there. The slew of painful images of Jews being forced from their homes was truly a forewarning to what we would see broadcast via Gazan terrorists eighteen years later.

In one of the greatest failed experiments of modern nations, the Israeli government wagered desperately and lost devastatingly on two key realities of external entities.

The first, of course, was the famous farce of “land for peace”: the hope that if one gives up land for a neighbor, the neighbor will give up their homicidal ideation in return…that uprooting all Jews would uproot any conflict. Stability for stability. A future for a future. But as we’ve seen since then, what a literal pipe dream that continues to be.

Unrealistic trust was undeservedly extended to those who never earned nor could even understand such a concept. The misnomer of “disengagement” not only sanitized the agony of the operation but ironically forecast the deadly engagement that would soon be forced. About a month after the expulsion, security was stolen with the first of what would become the usual rocket attacks. Israelis themselves were stolen only one year later. And the grand finale of both tangible and intangible theft was what we all witnessed almost three years ago. Because what the government naively banked on was assuming that the root of the problem was even about land, when that was only a surface metaphor for much deeper and insidious beliefs.

But when dark doctrine literally teaches to glorify and prioritize dying over living…when true paradise and fulfillment can only be found in death and not in life on earth…there will always be a fatally irreconcilable problem between two incompatible concepts of society. Combining such dogmas of death with historically habitual hatred, modernized with irresponsible funding and governmental directives, predictably leads in just one direction, which we have already seen and will only continue to see if not righted.

The writing was always on the wall. When a society values demise of others over prosperity for themselves, when one’s national identity is literally birthed from and based upon opposition to another, destruction for both is the only possible outcome of providing the former with the means to do so.

The second miscalculation was that this regional offering would finally buy Israel some global humanity in the world’s eyes. Of course, the fatal flaw in that wishful thinking is that one can’t ever buy humanity from those whose default is to consider one less than human.

In the double standard reserved only for this region, no one would ever second guess any other country’s need to eliminate the threat of terrorism to its people. Every other nation would be granted the acknowledgment that their own well-being would depend on its eradication and well worth the effort involved. However, too much of the world doesn’t see Israel as worthy of well-being and doesn’t value the lives of its citizens as full humans, so it doesn’t value its necessary elimination of threats against them.

It is the age-old dichotomy of Islamic infantilism versus antipathy for Jews yet again rearing its ugly head…no one believes Israel has the agency to ensure a secure future for itself, and no one believes that Gaza has the agency to support a terror driven regime and ideology. But beyond that, it is a perfect example of the end result of infatuation with allowing appeasement and low expectations to reign over responsibility and accountability. And with such an inability or flat out refusal to address the core of this conflict, on some level, from explicitly obvious to unadmittedly unconscious, the world actually desires to keep in place this fatal status quo.

Hamas et al read the global room, calculated effectively, and hedged their bets on that poignant reality. They wagered on a predictable past with current co-conspirators to enshrine future success. But while many others may always be homicidal, Jews must not become suicidal.

Through necessary survival over millennia, Jews have learned a noble but bad habit of tempering our specific suffering to that of all others’, in order to prove our humanity against the antisemitism that insists we have none. This twenty-one-year disaster is directly the result of trying to get the whole world to like and accept the Jewish state…to point and say, “see, we are human, too!”

Yet the depressing reality is that anything Israel does, short of complete capitulation, will be vilified around the globe, and therefore, the most important goal must become securing its own future survival. No longer can there be the luxury of clinging to past ideals over current issues, nor self-image over collective necessity. Israel simply cannot afford to make the mistake of trying to appease the world at the expense of its people again.

In the end, it’s really no coincidence that both gambles of external fantasies ultimately failed…because Israel should instead be gambling on itself.

As we’ve since harshly discovered, what “never again” means in action is a hell of a lot different than what “never again” has meant in theory. Israel was rebuilt for many reasons, but especially to ensure that the vast slaughters of the past could never happen again. Now, it is sorely understood, even by the previously most ardent supporters of fairytale symbiosis, that the premature dispensing of land in this untenable state only ensures more of what was intended to be prevented.

Golda Meir once famously stated that “if we have to have a choice between being dead and pitied, and being alive with a bad image, we’d rather be alive and have the bad image.” This truth is as appropriate today as it was when first spoken, and while other parties may genuinely prefer the more convenient option of dead and pitied, Jews can no longer allow others to dictate our survival nor our state’s existence for the sake of some standing in the international eye.

While much going forward remains clouded in the unknown, one thing is crystal clear: insanity will always be trying some version of the same thing over and over and expecting different results. It is past time for Israel to stop doing what bad actors want and start doing what needs to be done…and to stop playing into others’ hands and start playing its own.

Don’t mind their facial hair and male physique. Their Twitter proclamations and new wigs cancel that right out. Forget the fact that they’ve never mentioned this internal truth during any of their previous decades of life. They say they’re women now, and under the all-holy ideology of gender self-identification, that’s all it takes. As a result, these queens are now fully ready and eligible to begin the next chapter of their professional careers: entering the WNBA draft to soon become its record-breaking stars.

Yet although their newfound lady existence should be celebrated for the courageous declaration that it is, many on the all-inclusive, right-side-of-history left, seem to be questioning its validity, dunking on their WNBA aspirations by suggesting that they aren’t “truly trans” and are rather making a joke of the system.

But how could that be? What makes them any less sincere, and how does one know one’s identity any better than one himself? Enes and Royce say that they are women now. That is all that matters. Not personal politics nor convenient timing. This is how it must work, for them, or the male convict switching to the female prison, or the rapist demanding that prosecutors refer to his specifically male crimes as female. There is no picking or choosing based on which physicality and mentality better satisfy a narrative. Once the gender genie is let out of its sinister bottle, it is out for good.

After all, it’s a technical foul to accuse anyone anywhere of a false identity, as the entirety of gender ideology was built and will always lay upon the cornerstone dogma that internal identity is unquestionable and always usurping of physical reality. Ironically, it is this ideological constraint of its own making, combined with the unavoidable prod of hypocrisy, that will be what inevitably does the movement in. Because if one can draw the line at this undeniable folly, the entire concept of self-identification and gender identity falls apart as a result.

If an individual can naturally identify (pun intended) the farce of calling a 6-foot 10-inch bearded dude a woman, one is now left with two choices: either it is possible to lie about one’s identity, and therefore it cannot be objectively trusted, or there will always be undeniable and identifiable biological differences between men and women. Either society decides to cut its tethers to reason and base rights on skewed fantasy over immutable fact, or we acknowledge a universal understanding that scientific reality still exists and remains supreme against all facets of ideology. Either the WNBA decides to accept Enes and Royce as female players, and reject the reality of their own female league, or reject them as imposters, and therefore accept that the reality of self-ID is as fake as their wigs.

It has certainly been popcorn-worthy to watch the league squirm over an inevitable situation that their narcissism convinced themselves would never come to fruition…a situation for which they had years to prepare a contingency plan, but one they brushed off as unworthy, because when one is ideologically “in charge” for so long, who would dare question their brand of religion? Equally entertaining has been watching the left call out these men for making a mockery of gender identity, while remaining blissfully unbothered that such identity ideology itself has always made a mockery of women in the first place.

So let’s be honest for the hypocrites who cannot. Enes and Royce are not being mocked for being men headed to the WNBA because they are men…it’s simply because they happen to be the wrong kind of men. And those upset with their feminine calling are not upset because of the harms they present to female athletes or societal progression…they are upset because of the harms they present to preserving both their beloved ideology and own political identities.

Through attempting to expose these Enes and Royce’s flagrant fraud, they’ve succeeded in exposing their own: no one truly believes that any of these men are women, or they’d never be allowed to get away with this crap. However, a depressing amount of people do believe men are entitled to mold reality to their wishes and that such misogyny is worthy enough to continue, as it is inextricably woven into the lifeblood of identity ideology.

For those keeping score, more former NBA players have spoken up thus far than the single current WNBA player herself. Why is this? It’s not just because they have less to lose as retirees from a different league. They have less to lose as a result of their very sex.

We can call out the female players for cowardice in not standing up for their teammates, let alone themselves, and we would be right to do so. However, the reality of this ideology and intent of its activism stands: men are simply not mistreated for daring to speak against it in the same way as women. They are not hounded and harassed in the same way, and they are not subjected to sex-based threats and acts of violence…all of which proves yet again that the core goal of this movement is to silence women.

This is the stark truth of the gender movement, on and off the court. Yet because so many larping liberals in this world prioritize partisanship and cling to labels of progressivism as flimsy and invisible as these men’s identities themselves, a shocking amount of self-proclaimed humanitarians will throw women and absolute reality under the bus in order to uphold this abhorrent charade, to cover both the crumbling personal facade they’re hiding behind and ironic truth they’re hiding from…that those ever-consumed with enforcing their ideals of identity, empathy, and humanity never possess any of their own in the end.

Whether a costume of woman or progressive, there is no more perfect Emperor’s New Clothes equivalent in our time. And while it certainly requires balls to pretend one is a woman, all attempts to not only overlook reality but work against it this forcefully prove a desperate void of functioning brains and spines. For society’s future sake, it’s past time to expose this sham in a beard as the beard for depravity that it truly is. Though they would clearly rather pass, the WNBA has the ultimate layup of opportunities to assist in this win. The balls are certainly in their own court…and by draft day 2027, we’ll know whether they take an L and allow them, or finally remember for what that W is supposed to stand.

Once again, we have arrived at “International Non-Binary People’s Day & Awareness Week”…another in a series of days and weeks assigned to the calendar to mark yet another recession in both women’s and worldly progress by the modern compulsion to celebrate and prioritize personal preferences over objective reality.

As a loud and proud feminist, and not the fake pandering kind, I am well aware of the fact that the female sex is subjugated across the world and through time, and that our movement is not some undefinable charade dressed up in glitter and marketable slogans to seek nebulous equality, but real, definable action which seeks to liberate women from such discrimination and oppression based on our sex.

I am also frustratingly aware of the attempts gaining traction over the years to subvert these efforts through a shiny new “feminism,” promoting counterproductive to blatantly destructive ideas and actions for women, always sold under the guise of “empowerment.” These include glamorizing prostitution over finding exit routes for those trapped in the industry, normalizing porn as non-harming, and pushing detrimental beauty standards with damaging practices to uphold them.

In a new age of these unstomachable realities combined with age old ones, it is literally no wonder that many would jump at the newest outlet of escape being offered: gender identity ideology, the opportunity to shed restrictive realities for more comfortable labels to recreate oneself in a suffocating society. For women especially, the faux freedom and genuine relief of the “non-binary” identity is often too enticing to pass up.

So what exactly is this identity today, and how is it actually defined?

The term “non-binary” will get you as many different definitions as there are different followers. It is virtually impossible to lock down a true definition, which makes sense given that it is typically impossible to define something which does not truly exist. The closest attempts to coherence will resemble androgyny or gender neutrality.

But the undeniable reality…is that there is no reality to it. In its best case scenario, “non-binary” is a synonym for personality…or perhaps, more accurately, a lackluster substitution for none.

The criteria is purposely kept as vague and “inclusive” as possible to both attract the most participation and avoid measurable qualifications. Both appearance and behavioral characteristics can be quite literally anything. Pronouns are free to be chosen and changed at whim, bringing even more meaninglessness to this aspect.

So, let’s test this out.

I have long hair and live in breezy dresses as long as the weather will allow. However, I don’t shave or have long, manicured nails. I don’t wear polish ever, and cosmetics hardly ever. I’m a huge fan of contact sports and cringe at romantic comedies. I have never had any desire to watch The Notebook, and my favorite franchise is John Wick. I’m nearly incapable of asking for directions or talking about feelings, and I have zero maternal drive.

In reality, all of these facts and traits simply make me a woman with a certain personality. But playing by others’ ideological rules and shallow standards, it would easily classify me as “non-binary” instead. Worse, however, is that none of the above truly matters, as all one has to do is identify as such, and, poof, one now is. If I qualify but don’t “identify,” this can be explained away by the idea that I simply lack the internal feeling. And if we’re ready to play by those rules, then this exposes two truths.

The first is that the only criteria required is the ironically common desire to be more individualistic, fill a void in life, or perhaps even escape reality. The second is that proponents of such nebulous ideology are also proponents of basing objective laws and reality on subjective thoughts and feelings inside of anyone’s head… no actual standards or congruency necessary, let alone science, of course.

Here’s where we run into an issue.

All ideologies and belief systems are subject to logical lines of rational and reasonable questioning if they wish to influence or remain relevant within society. If any cannot hold up to such questions, or purposely shy away in the face of them, that reveals their core truth of lacking any substantive core.

It’s impossible to miss the hypocrisy of distracting from addressing legitimate questions with other thought-terminating questions meant to deflect and transfer blame. We’ve all heard (or perhaps have even spoken) the most common attempts of “why can’t you just let people be?” Or, my timeless favorite, “how does this even affect you?”

As with most extreme ideologies that break from reality, whether from the radical left or the radical right, they demand utter compliance from others. It is hardly about personal choice and more about making sure others comply. This demand and punishment for not ensures a cover for the insidious nature of its true agenda…one which can only be palatable to the public through deceit and fear of retribution.

Ironically, there is no better way to address the bad-faith “how does this affect you” attempt than by honestly describing the true meaning of “non-binary.”

Its best-case scenario of futile, immature narcissism has already been mentioned, but in its darker worst-case scenario counterpart, it is a desperate attempt to escape from the undesirable realities and harmful treatment of being female in today’s society…an attempt to be viewed as human. It is the latest iteration of the age-old “not like other girls” mentality, repackaged into the idea that one is above her fellow degraded women because she refuses to be one herself. Further, it is the personal attempt to jump ship from the collective, leaving behind fellow females to deal with an immutable reality instead of offering another hand to help lift us all out.

Intangibly, the promotion of this identity, and gender as an entire concept, is ultimately the belittling and reduction of women to a regressive set of feelings and limiting stereotypes, ironically enforced by a traditional and outdated male opinion. As a result, women are taught to disconnect from our omnipresent and essential bodies, lower our boundaries, and prioritize men’s standards over personal confidence. The inevitable harms of this mindset affect both women themselves as well as reinforce how we are viewed by men.

Tangibly, there are further disastrous effects for both the individual woman and collective sex.

This soft-core identity is too often a gateway drug to harder gender ideology. When women experience the rush of supposedly escaping chains of sexism, as well as possibly the first sense of personal control in life, many continue to desire and chase after more. If it felt good to leave behind that pathetic “she,” why wouldn’t it feel even better to move to “he”? If ditching social expectations of women was a relief, wouldn’t it be even more freeing to erase the physical realities as well? Unfortunately, since deep down it is understood that “non-binary” is a surface identity, irreversible medication and surgery are sought as more concrete solutions for such a void, choosing injection and scalpel over addressing the real roots of the problem.

Such muddying of the reality of women and promotion of subjective identity over objective sex absolutely affects single-sex opportunities and spaces as well. Because most who identify as “non-binary” are female, this internal identity tends to get externally grouped with women when it comes to spaces and events. However, this false widening of reality also genuinely widens qualification by opening up participation to any man who would like to identify as such in order to join. So in its natural endgame of ideological “inclusion,” it effectively excludes and eliminates the female category for which women have fought so hard and sacrificed so much.

Speaking of those who have fought and sacrificed: if the degradation of internal self and external opportunity wasn’t enough, there is also no greater evidence of this movement’s anti-women foundation than the mistreatment that women receive when they dare to ever raise questions or outright speak against it, from social and career cancellations to threats and acts of violence. Note that the majority of such threats are sexually based and overwhelmingly from men, as it historically goes when women pose a threat to dislodging the societal hierarchy of gender upheld for male benefit.

This then brings up the necessary question: what of the women who aren’t in a place or position to speak out?

It is no coincidence that you will only find this ideology in Western countries or affluent, Westernized areas in others. But this has nothing to do with the idea of it being a modern or progressive achievement aside from the reality that modernity tends to capitalize on and restructure traditional oppression. The reality is because this is the epitome of a luxury belief, afforded only to those devoid of the realest and harshest sex-based oppression.

Such ideology is an absolute slap in the face to women in countries across the world who cannot escape their hellish female reality by simply identifying out of it. Those still defending the superiority of bourgeois identity over biological reality must be willing to tell Afghan women hidden under Taliban rule, Iranian women suffering under the IRGC, African girls forced to undergo female genital mutilation, and all females subjected to the hideous practices of child brides and trafficking…that being female, and therefore their female persecution, is simply a choice.

But to bring it closer for those whose empathy and solidarity dwindles once crossing an ocean is involved: these abortion restrictions that American women are hyper focused on…can you identify out of those possible effects? What about issues of wage gap and sexual harassment, or life-altering possibilities of rape or pregnancy complications…can you identify out of those truths?

Unfortunately, one can never identify out of reality…only one’s acceptance of it. And that universal truth is what demonstrates all of this ideology’s selfish and damaging hypocrisy: when you abandon the term woman for yourself, you are abandoning all women.

Attempting to set oneself free from the chains of outdated gender through a sparkling identity over dark realities only shackles oneself further. But even worse, because their very identity’s existence depends upon an opposition viewed as conformists, the synthetic quest keeps such shackles fully intact for others. The endeavor to negate and separate from a despised binary only negates any effort to fix it, and only separates oneself from the ones who share your same discriminated traits…and, ironically enough, simply creates other binaries.

Aside from the now humorous binary of those who are “non-binary” and those who aren’t, it creates a far more insidious binary of those who allegedly “reject” stereotypes and those who allegedly want them…in other words, those who supposedly reject their female discrimination and those who willingly choose it. Such a self-serving mission succeeds in dividing women, erasing female solidarity, and nothing more than placing a superficial yellow and purple Band-Aid on a timeless cancer…in the end, these lost women, with their misplaced focus on a binary of sex, are in fact upholding the actual hierarchy of gender from which they wanted to escape in the first place.

In the quest for self-truth, “non-binary” is not an acknowledgment of oneself…it is the denial and rejection of it. In the quest for societal advancement, “non-binary” is not a perseverance of progress…it is an absolution of efforts to achieve it. And in the eternal quest to be individualized, “non-binary” ends up stripping any individuality. Because when it comes down to it, “non-binary” is not an individual label…it is a collective adherence to misogyny.

In the search for recognized humanity, one will never escape the regressive stereotyping by hiding behind creations that reinforce it. Only when one can define herself accurately can she ever be able to advocate for herself effectively.

In the end, pushing back against gender is the most anti-stereotype behavior women can have. So change society, not yourself, and not reality. We are all worth more and deserve so much more than that which attempts to redefine and flatten us all into a one-dimensional caricature. It’s time to stop hiding behind what you identify as and start fighting for who you truly are.

On January 13, 2026, the longstanding issue of fairness in women’s sports finally reached its most public arena yet as the Supreme Court itself held oral arguments on not simply whether males are entitled to female athletics…but whether male feelings are entitled to supersede female rights, and whether fantasy and ideology are entitled to supersede reality.

In the cases of Little v. Hecox and West Virginia v. BPJ, the ACLU, representing the trans-identifying men “Lindsay” Hecox and “Becky” Pepper-Jackson, has challenged state laws of Idaho and West Virginia which protect women’s right to female-only athletics, arguing a violation of their male clients’ “right” to play in the women’s category.

And now, on June 30, the Court responded in a 6-3 decision: “consistent with Title IX and the Equal Protection Clause, we hold that the States may maintain women’s and girls’ sports for biological females.”

Though the very bare minimum, this has been a long time coming, and it is an extremely welcome endorsement of years of women’s hard work. But the very fact that this is such a huge verdict, or any kind of accomplishment at all, is enormously wrong.

How did we even get here?

How did we get to a point where the definition of women and girls is unknown, denied, or such a fearful thing to acknowledge? Worse, how did we get to a point where it is absolutely clear, but they and their rights simply don’t matter?

How did we get to a point where women could be so acceptably betrayed? Where it has become a preferred sacrifice for extraordinary female athletes and coaches across the country (and globe) to lose their literal careers, titles, records, scholarships, participation opportunities, self-confidence, and actual physical health at the altar of mediocre and failed male athletes…who quite literally have the balls to think that their superficial feelings are entitled to supersede women’s achievements and reality?

Though this should be the simplest of issues, it is certainly one which attracts a multitude of emotion and preference for feelings, which inevitably invites illogic and irrationality. Therefore, it is more essential than ever to let facts decide reality, which is and has always been:

1. Sports are divided by sex classes, not individual identities. Feelings don’t compete on a track, in a pool, or on a field—bodies do.

2. Female sports are quite literally for those humans who are born female, as in girls and women.

When it comes to basic truth and rights, it really is as simple as this. Women are not a testosterone level nor dickless men: we are a fully separate and functioning sex on our own and deserving of our own spaces. Women did not fight misogynistic men for decades for the opportunity to finally get to compete themselves just so that they could compete against similarly misogynistic men who failed at their own sport. And women’s success is not expendable for men who refuse to compete fairly among their own peers.

It should never be allowed to be spun away from the truth that women have been literally asking for the absolute baseline, for simply what we used to have before this modern misogyny disguised as glittering inclusivity stole it away. And it must always be acknowledged that this irrationally entitled movement is demanding at a minimum what is not theirs, and at maximum the power to be able to reshape reality.

Yet like clockwork, the usual abhorrent parties are scrambling once again to reframe this upholding of basic biology as “banning,” the keeping female sports female as “exclusionary,” and undeniable rights as “bigotry.” The arsenal of their argument tactics against keeping women’s sports female is truly an abuser’s wet dream, and like their incessant narcissism, unfortunately not ending anytime soon.

The old standby, of course, used to be the infamous mantra of “this never happens”: the classic attempt to simply quash women’s legitimate concerns as invalid and hide the entire problem from public attention. Of course, with all examples of the-thing-that-never-happens happening on neon display from high schools to the NCAA to the biggest stage of the Olympic Games, and now decided at the highest court in the nation, this approach does become slightly difficult to sustain. And so the following argument has gained more traction in the wake of pesky undeniability: “this doesn’t happen enough or affect enough to matter.”

Yet the reality is that this has affected hundreds of women and girls in this nation alone, and exponentially more across the globe. While the most attention always lends itself to the women who lose their trophies and records to men, this doesn’t simply affect one or two athletes on the podium. The mere inclusion of a man who should never be present also affects every woman who was knocked out of qualifying stages due to the domino effect. Beyond women as individuals, it also has a real effect on universities who use point systems in their athletic departments, as it affects funding and future opportunities for female athletes at these institutions. None of this even goes into the threats of disqualification or contract loss by complicit universities and corrupt athletic organizations as punishment for female athletes daring to speak out.

Despite accusations to the contrary, this is not fear mongering, nor inflation, and it is certainly not something that “doesn’t happen.” However, if one still truly believes that this is not a large enough problem, despite all evidence to the contrary, one must also then answer: what precisely is an acceptable number of women’s events, titles, and careers to ruin?

For those who know better than to use the previous shoddy arguments, the usual next turn is toward perverting the reality they are attempting to defend. Therefore, we have a disappointingly large population who will tell you with a straight face: “the science says there is no remaining advantage once on estrogen.”

Aside from the obvious, that those who like to quote “the science” ironically ignore science when it doesn’t suit them, this argument is pathetically inadequate and patently false. Despite what the TikTok professors (who can’t understand a real study to save their influencer careers) might claim, all studies plus common sense unequivocally demonstrate that no matter the amount of wrong sex hormone supplementation, the exponential advantages of male puberty are undeniable and irreversible, though even in prepubescent ages, the differences in ability are more than clear.

Testosterone is a hell of a drug, and there is a reason why male athletes continue its illegal use to gain advantages. Contrary to the simpleton’s knowledge, it doesn’t just grow beards and balls…it affects the entire development and physiology of any mammal, and that includes humans. These advantages include, but are not limited to, muscle mass, hypertrophy, lung capacity, heart size, skeletal size, bone density, and limb length. While continued growth of these areas may halt on prolonged synthetic hormone usage, each benefit of male puberty does not simply vanish by taking a prescription…one may have stopped their biological clock, but it cannot be turned back, and it is certainly not something that feelings can cover up. These complete disparities present a grave threat to female athletes, and too many can testify to the damage they’ve suffered for a man’s entitlement.

Yet even if no career and life-changing injuries had ever occurred, it wouldn’t change this unbelievably simple fact: it is objectively not fair for any boy or man to ever steal a girl or woman’s deserved opportunity in her own league. This truth is valid enough on its own and should never be diminished as less. To do so is to shamelessly admit that one doesn’t believe members of the female sex, and their specific rights and reality, are worth as much as male desire.

So when the nuisance of undesirable logic and reason arises, the movement’s most successful argument is applied: the empathy trap. In this favorite tool of such ideologies, one is manipulated into believing that blind compassion for a chosen category supersedes all other truths, intentionally hiding the worst realities beneath it. Of course, the effectiveness of this is greatly assisted by threats of being decried as a bigot for lack of compliance with such “empathy.”

This movement has done a truly excellent job of convincing the world that these are just individuals with the misfortune of being born in the wrong body who simply and only “want to play.” That may be the case for a naive eight-year-old, but this completely ignores the unsavory truth for the majority of young and older men who do not possess this advertised innocence, are fully aware of reality around them, and have purposely made the choice to prioritize their personal desires over all women’s own desires, safety, and dignity.

This conniving messaging is precisely how we reach the depths of justifying such grotesque arguments as the unbelievably false and profoundly narcissistic threat of suicide if these boys and men are not treated as they’d like. This is how we arrive at rationalizing the idea that these female athletes’ complaints simply mean that they should “work harder” and stop “blaming others for their own shortcomings.” And this is how we sink to the unimaginable offense of vilifying anyone who desires genuine integrity as a “Nazi.”

The point of every single one of these absurd arguments is to take the onus off of the men, where it rightfully belongs, and place it on women instead, serving as both a distraction from the obvious and a punishment for noncompliance. And it works. Women are then forced to defend not only their deserved rights but the essence of reality, with those who dissent given a scarlet T for “transphobia” and labeled the enemy of progressivism.

When it really comes down to it, the unfortunate reality is that many will simply never trade the comfy core of subjective feelings for necessary objective reality, which leads to the deeply avoided crux of the issue: the questions that can never be answered.

Why can’t those who avoid the ultimate crime of committing offense perceive the offense for women of not only having their fairness stripped, but an expectation to take it with a smile?

Why is hurting a man’s feelings to be avoided at all costs, but women’s feelings while watching their own reduction can be dismissed as irrelevant? Further, why do so many assume women don’t even have these feelings?

Why is it important to show empathy to a man’s perceived condition and self-absorption, but there is rarely any empathy left for women calling out the resulting misogyny?

The answer always comes back to this depressing truth: to the proponents of this ideology, women still are not fully seen nor respected as whole humans that experience equally significant feelings and realities as men. Any impact on women’s own mental health, let alone tangible rights and opportunities, is both a negligible issue and acceptable byproduct of catering to prioritized men.

In the end, ironically, women are just not worthy of the equality that such ideologues purport to value the most.

There simply is no more perfect Emperor’s New Clothes equivalent in our time. Everyone, whether an athlete, spectator, official, news consumer, or internet user can absolutely see what is happening in front of their eyes, and yet far too many pretend that they cannot. It may be due to a compulsion of avoiding an off-limits social topic, a fear of being “cancelled” within one’s circles, or perhaps just a lack of caring enough to say anything, but all have thrown women under the bus of this insidiousness that pushes male intrusion as inclusion, at the expense of female exclusion. The absolutely naked truth is that literally no one is questioning whether these are men masquerading in women’s opportunities…it’s simply and always been about questioning how much such men are entitled to them.

This ethical travesty is an utter testament to how far society has fallen, where misogyny is not only passively accepted, but actively indulged. The very fact that this circus was even able to reach our highest court proves how deeply society has allowed this ideological virus to root, to the depths of putting the very rights of women, and the very truths of biology, so up for grabs. So while this verdict should be celebrated for all of the women and girls who will now benefit, we cannot forget the other side of the coin: there are still too many to whom this gift of truth will not yet extend, both in other states of this country, and around the Western world.

Not a single opportunity for any woman or girl should ever be sacrificed for the self-centered wishes of any man or boy. No athlete should ever have to make the necessary call to forfeit against an intruder, therefore forfeiting all one’s work and dedication, and going against not only everything one has trained for but stands for as a disciplined fighter. No woman should ever have her lifelong goals crushed. And no girl should ever think that it’s better to not even begin because there was simply no point in even trying.

Women and girls deserve a world that doesn’t require a redundant verdict to resume reality, and for those who claim to stand for women’s rights to actually do so, even when it clashes with precious politics. We deserve many more fellow humans who are not socially selective with who they deem deserving of vital humanity, and a truly progressive society in action, devoid of all the hypocrites in name only who are intent on sending ours backward. It’s past time to ensure this moral blight in time is finally defeated in all states and all nations, and to truly prove that that there will no longer be any toleration of such undeniable farce, whether the emperor in question is wearing no clothes…or an ill-fitting woman’s uniform.

An acceptance of a ridiculous problem that any rational individual knows to be completely unnecessary and avoidable, yet something that seems to still be a fully shared sentiment among too many Democrat offices with which Women’s Liberation Front met during its annual week of action in Washington DC.

Four days of eighteen women lobbying for women’s rights, from the left to the right and anyone in between. Meetings with 32 offices — 11 Senate and 21 House, 12 Republicans, 1 Independent, and 19 Democrats — on the issues of single-sex protections, female sports, female prisons, trafficking, porn, LGB rights, and safeguarding of minors.

Depending on the office and topic, there was certainly a variety of reception, ranging from full backing to indifference to absolute disdain. And many responses were fairly expected, whether providing support or a complete lack of.

However, no matter how inevitable, there still is nothing quite like sitting across from a fellow female and being told to your face that assault of women becomes acceptable when done at the hands of a prioritized subset of men. Further, the plight of women housed with male rapists could be shrugged off as something on which we all must “agree to disagree.”

Of course, this shouldn’t come as a surprise from offices and staff who firmly emphasize that they are there to protect *all* women…as in the “male ones” included, from whom actual women need real protections. Nor should it come as a surprise from staffers who claim that their Congress member adheres to the belief that “all issues are women’s issues,” proving yet again that, nonsensical sentiment aside, when one cannot define what a woman is, one will never be able to define what women’s issues truly are…and therefore, one will never be able to successfully fight for women’s issues themselves.

This remains a perfectly dismal metaphor for the state of the American left. Because so many larping liberals today prioritize personal politics and cling to labels of progressivism as flimsy and invisible as such men’s faux identities, a depressing amount of women will throw their sex under the bus in order to uphold this abhorrent societal charade of human injustice crossdressing as social justice.

The absolutely bare truth is that literally everyone knows that these are men masquerading…yet any impact on women’s own rights and opportunities is both a negligible issue and acceptable byproduct of catering to the sex deemed superior. Ironically, women are not worthy of the equality that such ideologues purport to value the most. And when it comes down to it, those ever-consumed with enforcing the ideals of identity, kindness, and empathy never possess any of their own in the end.

Fortunately, despite the sexist status quo, as national polling continues to demonstrate (including WoLF’s own recent results), the majority of people are indeed supportive of common sense and objective reality over regressive ideology. If such Congress members do genuinely represent the constituents they allege to, they will eventually have to acknowledge and address these crimes against women that they’ve chosen to passively ignore and actively allow, and recognize that women’s rights to safety and dignity are never expendable for male desire nor political points.

Much to some’s disdain, these issues are simply not going away, and neither are the women fighting for them…until one day, there will be no such instances of despicable misogyny allowed to be entertained in our society again.

You’re going to hear this week (like any other week, though substantially more) an impressive amount of playing fast and loose with reality, historical and present. That would be because this week, on the anniversary of the date that Israel declared its legally and ethically rightful independence from Britain, a large population of Arabs, Muslims, and leeching Westerners searching for any cause to fill their unending void, have decided to turn this event into the cornerstone of their movement: the “Nakba.”

Nakba means disaster or catastrophe, and while ironically one did definitely occur, it’s not quite as the Palestinian movement prefers to remember. But this revisionist narrative has come to encompass every part of these followers’ existence, both looking back and moving forward.

They always feverishly shout, “Look up the Nakba!” Ironically, most doing so in the West have yet to do as much themselves.

So, let’s do that.

1. In 1945, Britain declares a desire to end its mandate, due to its continuous bungling of the situation, and an understandable waning desire to remain in that particular region. The mandate was effectively turned over to the UN.

2. Western Mandatory Palestine (remember that Eastern Mandatory Palestine is Jordan, another detrimental aspect of history purposefully hidden) was set to be partitioned into Jewish and Arab states on November 29, 1947, to go into effect with the expiration of the mandate on May 14, 1948.

3. Obviously, Arabs had never approved of Jews having rights or even existing in the region after their caliphate conquests, so clearly the idea of a self-governed Jewish state was a bit too much to handle.

4. So begins the ethnic cleansing of over 850,000 Mizrahi Jews in neighboring Arab and Muslim states, as well as the areas of Gaza and Judea and Samaria (which the average person would never hear about).

5. On the afternoon of 5/14, Jews in Israel declared national independence as the British mandate ran out as planned.

6. The next day, as a home warming gift, six Arab nations (most ironically also officially established within only a decade or so) declared war on the new state.

As any rational mind would naturally understand, war is war, and as deaths are only inevitable, there will be loss of actual innocent life on either side. Therefore, mass migration from war-torn land is also to be expected. If one chooses at this point to veer off and follow the Palestinian narrative, one will hear a version that sadly details how hundreds and hundreds of thousands of local Arabs were forcefully expelled from their homes in Israel, or even catastrophically annihilated, depending on whose version and which day, as a result of the genocidal Jews. Some things just never seem to change, apparently…including the reality that this did not actually happen in this way.

If, of course, one chooses to take the path of historical actuality, there are some highly significant differences from this imposed and necessary narrative.

Though likely hard to believe for many, given that Jews are supposed to be the blood-lusting bad guys, they didn’t exactly force half a million Arabs from their homes. In reality, Arab leaders deliberately chose to not only give a warning to the local population of impending war, but they also happened to issue a recommendation to leave the area for the duration.

But, wait, there’s more. This heads-up was not just some solidarity concern for the well-being of their brothers and sisters during the war. They were specifically told to leave Israeli land so that the Arab armies could come in and finish the job of annihilating the Jews easier…and then, of course, when that pesky Jewish problem was finally taken care of, everyone could return to their homes in three, maybe five tops, weeks time.

A truthful recounting of history makes a difference, doesn’t it?

As everyone knows, unfortunately for the Arabs, their militaries suffered a devastatingly embarrassing loss at the hands of the new Israel Defense Forces. So it’s true that a great catastrophe occurred, but it was not the preferred version of ethnically-cleansed Arabs. The true catastrophe, then and now, was that the Arab nations utterly failed in securing the deaths of the Jews and their reestablished state. The real disaster was that Arab nations succeeded in securing the self-created displacement of hundreds of thousands of their own and their futures. It’s not remotely difficult to see why this self-imposed tragedy needed a much revised facelift, to not only curry favor with sympathizing movements, but to be able to simply live with such defeating embarrassment. Thus, the “Nakba” was created, along with the birth of a 78-year-old compulsion to subvert and pervert history.

But beyond a coping mechanism, there is also a darker reason behind the narrative: an insidious nostalgia, keeping alive for eternity the fantasy of returning to a time before an internationally-recognized Jewish state. This includes limiting Jewish presence in the region, legal allowance once again to treat any there as second class “dhimmis,” and acceptable grounds for massacring Jewish communities, with local figureheads that no longer must publicly temper their support for Hitler, as past ones were free to do. Somehow, these features never seem to be advertised in the more sympathetic propaganda of a “peaceful, secular co-existence of Jews, Muslims, and Christians in a true Palestinian state.”

Such zealous loyalty to a past fantasy that will never actualize is the foundation for why this population is forever stuck looking backward and therefore incapable of moving forward.

It is why various Arab nations, never more unified than in the perpetuation of contempt for the Jewish state, lobbied for the creation of UNRWA…achieving a globally recognized and funded outfit to keep the local population in continual victimhood, resentment, and conflict by feeding the deeply rooted opposition to the recognition of Israel in 1948.

It is why every local leader within these territories has been elected, and it is why every offer of statehood has been vehemently denied.

It is why there exists the highest density of organized terror factions, and why “martyrdom” is not only taught and desired, but actively sought and rewarded for the ultimate prize of Jewish death.

It is truly a phenomenon of a society too obsessed with its past to build an actual future. But, then again, this is the only possible and logical outcome of culture grown to value destruction of others over prosperity for oneself…when determination to rid the land of an imagined enemy becomes stronger than genuine self-determination.

The entire movement of Palestinianism itself depends on the creation or existence of something else to counter. Everything in the national identity, from its very (and originally self-rejected) name, to its knock-off flag, to its political jihadist ideology and leadership, is a direct reaction to and rejection of the success of Israel, as well as a memorializing tribute to personal failure. It is a true shame that time and energy were so deliberately wasted over the better part of a century, with the one true thing that effort was put into perfecting over the years being top-notch propaganda, to induce sympathy from the ignorant bystander and elicit the deepest hate from the casual bigot.

It is interesting to reflect on how much of today’s situation is based on this specific narrative and its particular interpretation. Clearly, the issues in the Middle East do not stem from just the creation of Israel…as we know, the reduction to a simple “land back” idea is the propagandist’s chosen technique to keep the focus off of more eternal and unfixable hate, and one would demonstrate peak naïveté to believe that this does not go back to Muhammad’s first attempts to conquer and cleanse the region. So it is not as if there would be overarching peace in the region had the Nakba narrative not been the preeminent one. But, because so much of the subsequent global ideology that has taken root is entirely dependent on this interpretation change from stark hate to a more emotionally-charged and favorable light, the result has no doubt denied the possibility of earlier political shifts and exploited the antisemitic infection in the West.

And exploit they have. It is certainly not difficult to understand why so many in the West feel drawn to this narrative and movement as well, as it is just another embodiment and seeming validation of similarly shared values…or lack of.

Historically, antisemitic behavior has always drawn the chronically unfulfilled in life, something which has helped propel this particular bigotry through various millennia and forms. This certainly hasn’t changed today. Most new members of this movement can’t be bothered to understand the history of the region in which they are supposedly so invested, but they can understand the desperation to fill an internal emptiness with something that promises to supply much desired purpose, as well as the appeal of an outlet for both worldly and personal loathing.

And for those chronically searching for someone else to blame for life’s problems, the concept of such grand grievance could not resonate more. After all, internal conflict always becomes easier when one can blame external conflict instead. And when one’s shortfalls and shortcomings are always someone else’s fault, the harsh blows of personal responsibility and authentic accountability need never be faced.

To put it extremely simply, misery truly does love company.

So when it comes to those who may not put as much value in their own lives, and those who always find it easier to knock things down rather than build them up, there is real satisfaction in spreading one’s misery for others, and achievement in producing a travesty of morals for all of society. And this old reality is truly the narrative’s ace for continuation, around the world and through later generations.

Despite a willing and hungry global audience, and that it may be too late for many to change their propensity, the younger generations still have a choice “within their own lifetime,” as they like to say, to end this cycle of self-harm. Ironically, whether it’s admitted or not, the Jewish state and its people are the exact things which they will never be able to destroy, while the quest for such destruction, and the failure to learn from their failures, will only and inevitably consume themselves. It’s past time for all to sincerely reevaluate whether they might want to finally look forward and progress into the future as others already have, or forever remain their own obstacle by immortalizing a false disaster of the past…because so far in this present reality, that tragic choice has been the real catastrophe after all.

By now, one has either heard of the extensive sexual violence committed against women in Israel by Hamas, or one has chosen to live under the most apathetic rock. In the seemingly never ending saga of shedding light on this dark day, another piece of the collection of depravity has just been released: “Silenced No More,” the nearly 300 page report on sexual violence by the Civil Commission on October 7th Crimes by Hamas against Women and Children. It is an unbelievably tragic yet admirable effort displaying the best of what people can achieve with empathy and dedication. However, it is also yet another insidious spotlight on the absolute worst to which others can sink when choosing pure evil.

Yet for me, it is less about what is actually inside of this report…it is about the continued necessity of it. Its still very necessary existence is by default necessarily troubling. To anyone with a pulse, it should beg the question: why did this have to be released? Why is this still so relevant and crucial to talk about?

The obviously depressing and depressingly obvious answer is that though this horror took place over two and a half years ago, the pain still exists nearly as fresh because it has been largely silenced by the world.

Such unimaginable brutality addressed in the report but largely unaddressed by most serves as a perfect microcosm for the core of October 7th itself: while the extent of the unthinkably vicious savagery has been more than the human, especially female, mind can come to terms with, the following unfathomable global denial and ignorance of these painful realities continue to rival the original atrocities. And so this gigantic wound upon Israeli women has since scarred over but never fully been allowed to heal.

This sadism against women is easily arguable as both the worst of what was committed that day and the worst that one human can do against another…not only due to the nature of the pain the women endured, but because it reveals the undeniable nature of the criminals inflicting it. That they chose this deliberately, as the crime of sexual violence is always absolutely unnecessary in any situation. That they wanted to cause the most pain possible, because if destruction and death were the only goals, it would have been so much simpler to only shoot their victims and burn their homes.

These men made the premeditated decision to commit the most gruesome acts not only because they wanted it to be personal and to inflict the maximum amount of physical and emotional pain…but because they fully thrived off of it. They demonstrated the fullest depth of inhumanity possible that day and anywhere.

However, perhaps even worse than the intention of pain inflicted in the moment was their intention to bestow a future pain beyond only that day. Mass sexual violence is historically used to psychologically defile and humiliate a population…not only the dead, but the survivors and community as well, and any sexual violence is intended as a double weapon to assault both in the moment and every moment going forward. In this particular case, they not only counted on the painful lack of justice regained due to the reality that they also slaughtered most of their victims. They also very clearly banked on the current global political temperature and everlasting biases to ensure an ultimate humiliation of never being taken seriously. There is no doubt that this strategy’s endgame was the foreseen lasting trauma via antisemitic justification of or overwhelming apathy toward such crimes against our women.

Therefore, the very worst of what was done that day led to the very worst of the resulting aftermath.

As Sheryl Sandberg asked years ago at the United Nations, are we going to believe the Hamas spokesmen who claim that such violence is forbidden, and therefore it could not have possibly happened? Or are we going to believe the women, whose bodies tell us how they spent the last minutes of their lives?

In something out of an alternate universe, what we have unfortunately witnessed is that “believe all women,” something that has always been enough for other victimized women, expired that day into a resounding disbelief for these Jewish ones in favor of their monstrous abusers…or just simple disbelief that they mattered at all.

Each time another piece of violent evidence is released, I consider whether this might be the one that makes more of a difference, if this might be the thing that lends a moral voice to the willingly mute…though it’s certainly realized that if one hasn’t already spoken out by this point, with such a buffet of monstrosities more than accessible to view, there is little that would bring one to do so now. This is why the release of this report was dismaying for yet another reason: it was not only exactly what we already knew or reasonably suspected, but it was also what everyone else would have already realized and understood this entire time, yet continually chose to stay silent.

And with an overwhelming amount of viscerally overwhelming evidence, demonstrating thirteen categories of recurring violence through ten thousand visuals and 430 interviews and testimonies, there is no argument as to whether more than enough proof exists for any denier to believe. But in reality, proof was never genuinely what was in question…human worth was.

As we’ve gravely learned, there are two sobering truths that have plainly surfaced during this time. Many people’s public support is contingent upon the political temperature of the victim, and many women’s supposed “feminism” is grossly outshadowed by their stronger antisemitism. So the undeniable, age-old reality has been amplified and remains: while crimes and violence against women are typically ignored anyway unless politically useful, crimes against Jewish women sink to the bottom of the barrel, for the very reason that even after millennia, at very best much of the world unconsciously continues to view Jews as not fully human, and at worst, many consciously deny our humanity outright.

The very fact that another entire report had to be created completely demonstrates the double burden that Jews face with crimes against their own…not simply having to shoulder the burden of the original pain, but the burden of having to seek justice alone by redundantly justifying that what happened should and must matter. The fact that it had to be meticulously curated over years shows the timeless double standard of a forever unequal burden of proof. In essence, it is a never-ending search for accountability, in a world which refuses to offer any, and which sadly has willingly upheld Hamas’ culminating goal to keep October 7th not just as a past date in history, but forever alive to retraumatize.

It is utterly shameful that the world has tasked such a small community with the ridiculous onus of having to constantly stress that what these women went through matters. For forcing the release of horrors that should never have had to have been, purely in the hopes of getting someone else out there to finally believe that these daughters, sisters, or wives are worthy of the same concern as their own. And for continuing to place more value on these women’s rapists and executioners than the women themselves.

Jews are tired of this never-ending battle on our truth and worth. We are and will always be grossly outnumbered by those who seek to deny the very suffering they enable. But while it feels like a hellish nightmare to keep dealing with this unending state of desired ignorance, it was a conscious nightmare for those women living through that literal hell who only have our community on earth to keep pushing on their behalf.

So until the day when the rest of the world chooses to rightfully care, we all must keep fighting for these women who have been silenced, both by those who stole their lives and those who later deemed their lives unworthy of any voice. As they are no longer able to speak for themselves, it is our collective duty to keep speaking for them and our responsibility to do what they no longer can: to keep compiling unimaginable evidence for an uninterested world, to keep recording and reporting the indescribable to any who will listen, and to keep uplifting the truth about the depths of that day.

These women deserved so much better than this compounding travesty of barbaric terrorism and insufferable indifference. All of Israel deserves better. And, honestly, the whole world should want to deserve better as well. Because in the end, silencing this violence doesn’t simply silence these particular victims. It silences any possible chance for our own humanity to survive in the future.

You’re going to hear this phrase a lot in the days after the latest assassination attempt on President Trump. You’re also likely to hear a lot of the worst apathy to antipathy one can or couldn’t imagine, which proves the original phrase woefully incorrect.

While it should not, political violence absolutely has a rooted place in today’s society. And too many who repeat this seem to either have little idea of or little respect to admit the unsavory reality: we have already entered an age of morality eroding to a point where narcissistic ideology reigns supreme, and violence is an acceptable form of policing it. Where it is acceptable to commit physical offense for emotional offense taken. To use literal violence for perceived “words of violence.” It is the peak intersection of self-importance and delusion.

Though this is an egregiously grave issue, it is laughable how many who parrot this bare minimum phrase aren’t remotely willing to acknowledge how we’ve gotten to this depth, or even their own enabling part in digging the hole. Because when it comes down to it, you don’t truly condemn political violence today if you don’t condemn today’s motives behind it.

So let’s be utterly honest: this violence is the inevitable outcome of the worship of the left’s cult of identity politics. Such mental membership forces one to ditch the objective external and focus only on the subjective internal…to forgo collective reality in the preference for and prioritization of personal fantasy. It replaces the ability to form normal social bonds with a bond to authoritarianism instead, and the supposed embrace of diversity and inclusivity are abandoned for only what and who fits in the safety of the echo chamber.

In essence, it is to kill what makes one human.

If such internal reconstruction only relegated those to basements, electronically screaming at dissenters online, or field trips outside to bang on pots and pans and hold signs that couldn’t pass for refrigerator art, that would be one thing. But totalitarian wiring must spill over into requiring the same wiring for everyone else. Fundamental identity politics don’t just demand compliance but demand that noncompliance be punished…up to the point of feeling entitled to someone else’s life for the crime of daring to live his or her own way.

The problem is that none of this ideological horror show can be examined too deeply, or it would risk cracking the very foundation of such ideology itself, and this vital avoidance reveals an even larger problem of the left than the unhinged themselves.

It’s the ones who would normally salivate at the chance to condemn gun violence, but can’t be found when it’s discovered that the culprit of such is on their side.

It’s the ones who say they had no idea this was such a problem, yet had no problem suggesting it was for the other side.

It’s the ones who diminish this as a fringe issue, but have laid the framework for such ideology to grow, and allowed it to spread from the edges to the core of their party.

All glaring predispositions to violence must be denied and hidden at all costs, as their existence is an absolute liability to the left. To have such faults be publicly aired would not just tear apart the strived for reputation of a timeless beacon of benevolence and fatally tarnish its credibility in agenda. It would reveal their vacuum of the humanitarianism vital for their very existence, the crumbling personal facade they’re hiding behind and ironic truth they’re hiding from…that those ever-consumed with enforcing their ideals of identity, empathy, and humanity never possess any of their own in the end.

But burying the politics of these continuing episodes buries reason. Falsely assigning blame to one’s favorite villain, whether human or object, only ensures continuation. And sinking to the lowest possible depth of gleeful justification, from kids to the teachers and parents who raise them, sinks all of society into an abyss of inhumanity.

So, yes, a lot of words will sure be said online against this violence, but only genuine reckoning and action offline matters. An entire population needs to wrestle with the fatal intolerance for tolerance that has been permitted to infect the world and come to accept that no one is entitled to life without the offense of opposition. Most of all, it’s time for those who live to kill fascism to take some much forbidden ownership of the true fascism which they’ve unleashed themselves.

There may not be a more perfect summation on the tangible calendar for the intangible Jewish experience. It is a yin and yang of darkness and light, somberness and celebration, and the past and future, though both are forever reflected in the present. There is a vital importance of recognizing both through grieving the worst pain and celebrating the best joy…remembering death, and then moving on with life.

Though it is difficult to compare memorial and independence days around the world, Israel’s own do simply seem more significant due to a dichotomy of time. On one hand, Israel is less removed in time from instating its sovereignty seventy-eight years ago, while on the other, it was reclaimed from three thousand years prior. And unlike any other nation, it is continually faced with the harsh reminders of the price to keep it, as the singular nation to constantly have its independence questioned, cheapened, and desired to be erased.

Such a profound reality also exposes another glaring dichotomy.

These days fully represent the values and priorities inherent to this state, its people, and its supporters worldwide. Namely, the valuing of life, and the selfless willingness to personally sacrifice in order to preserve a greater collective future with these ideals.

As a result, the opposition of Israel’s detractors couldn’t stand in clearer contrast. Here we have the hypocritical gamut of antizionist arrogance, from those who warp their own Memorial Day into one of shopping sales and parties to those who literally fail to allow independence for their own people…the perversely perfect foil of unabashed entitlement to genuine selflessness.

Looking eastward, we have the reigning royalty of authoritarian regimes, full of entitlement to the life and death of both their community and their enemies, who over ancient conquests and modern terror have perfected simultaneously making absurd demands while committing outrageous atrocities.

The surreal entitlement to not only brutally invade a neighboring democracy but steal hundreds on hundreds of innocent lives through both massacre and hostage taking, but to force the grieving nation to officially bargain for the civilians who should never have existed in such a situation.

The selfishness to continue to occupy and leech off of a government while accusing others of such actions, making life miserable for not just their despised Zionists, but fellow citizens whom they pretend to serve.

The arrogance to fund the oppression and slaughter of both one’s own citizens and those one thousand miles away, dreaming up war crimes from the worst nightmare available to humanity…and to “negotiate” on the ability to sustain such tyranny, drawing out bad-faith stalling as long as they see fit.

And, after all of the above, the hubris to believe they still are entitled to reign in the territory they’ve destroyed and with which they’ve tried to destroy others…but more than that, enjoy an eternal reign of terror with neither punishment nor accountability.

If only such entitlement were limited to that region, but there is unfortunately more than enough to be shared, and this has become the drawing board for their narcissistic Western echo. And so we have those so removed from both the collective conflict and personal purpose in life desperately ready for an endorsed route to take out their self and worldly loathing onto others.

Perhaps this dichotomy could not be better displayed than by young Israeli soldiers, braving the artillery fire of literal terrorism while privileged frauds promote their own version stateside. One group, risking their own survival for the survival of their larger nation, being utterly disparaged by peers (in age only, not worth) across the world who couldn’t fathom sacrificing themselves for anything but their own narcissistic desires and hollow performance.

Through their arrogant arsenal of tantrums and tentifadas, not only are these jihadis-in-training fully intent on denying others basic legal rights, they are equally determined to not be denied privileges never afforded to those carrying out blatantly illegal activity. In this attention-seeking dream come true, they feel completely at home commandeering public property for personal preferences and reject the idea of being arrested for occupying land that isn’t theirs, all while simultaneously calling for the removal of rightful owners of land across the world.

The level of misplaced esteem and bursting ego to consider themselves worthy of dictating how another country defends itself would be fairly impressive if not so utterly destructive. Somehow, they know better with their performative activism degrees than all of the military experts, historians, and common sense. They know better in such utterly removed privilege than those who live each day next to those that would, have tried to, and will try again to, wipe them off of the planet when given an inch. They, who have and likely never will have to face such a situation, yet feel such a compulsion to demand others bend to their unethical education and personal bigotry.

Blazing hypocrisy aside, all continue to feel entitled to keep pushing bigoted ideology while demanding special accommodations, as too many who should know better continue to enable the previous parties with their own brand of entitlement.

In what is possibly the most insidious arrogance of all, as it is the version coming from not just the only democratic category of the three, but supposed allies and moral parties as well, we have the dangerous display of Western governments not only plainly hindering Israel’s efforts and success, but then gaslighting them on top of that betrayal…all for selfish and sinister gains.

So many nations’ pathetic administrations have felt overly comfortable spinning an existential crisis into political chess, wielding such grotesque authority to play fast and loose with real lives for shallow desires. Watching elected officials lack the spine to fully stand up to their party’s clownery and stand by what is just, while simultaneously thinking that they have the right to dictate how a sovereign democracy conducts its essential elimination of jihadists that no one else wanted to touch, has been utterly atrocious, though perfectly in line with the rest of withering modern ethics.

While we are aware of the depths society can reach, it is still difficult to fathom the amount of childish narcissism one must possess to not only make such ignorant demands, but to make any of a sovereign nation at all. But it comes down to it, in once again the bias reserved only for Jews and their state, all of these parties not only hold entitlement to how Israel carries out its operations, but entitlement to Israel’s own existence and entire future.

It is such a shame that we live in a reality where are too many feel so entitled to hold Israel as both a nation and its people hostage over the years, whether through its living, breathing citizens as captives, or as the world’s singular Jewish democracy to the most ridiculous double standards. And it is such a shame that we live in a world where Israel is so dismissed and dehumanized that it is forced into daily required defense against an eternal offense.

Most nations cannot boast of independence from self-determination and diplomacy over imperialism and slaughter. Hardly any can boast of fulfilling a true decolonization saga. No other has a constant declaration of independence that is truly renewed not just every year, but every day of the year, because nothing can ever be taken for granted, and everything could be taken in an instant.

Ironically, the world has no idea how much this memorial and birthday mean for its own future, with this tiny nation giving so much and keeping so much else at bay.

On these days and always, it is essential for the world to never lose sight of nor deny their meaning of remembrance and independence: a remembrance of the final sacrifice made by the unimaginably selfless, for the independence to live despite the inevitable entitlement of all others.

And just as the celebration always follows the somberness, and the future follows the past, Israel will continue to get through and beyond the world’s entitlement yet again…not only because it has to, but because it has a duty to do so…and not simply for the love of its future, but for the gratitude of its past that provided them the ultimate gift: the ability to not only survive but absolutely thrive in spite of it all today.

The Holocaust is globally known, and also denied, as the single most defining rise of antisemitism and death of Jews, without any event coming anywhere close in vicious and intentional savagery…until October 7th. It is literally beyond belief that global Holocaust survivors have had to witness another attempted genocide within their own lifetimes, and it is the height of surreality that some individuals have had to become dual survivors of both.

The only thing sadder than observing a day of remembrance for the genocide of one’s people, in the wake of another attempted genocide…is observing it while unimaginably being accused of the very crime itself.

Welcome to the sick reality of Holocaust inversion: using a term conceived by a Jew, to describe the mass extermination of Jews, against Jews today, in nothing short of an absolutely conscious decision and malicious calculation to retraumatize.

Everyone has heard at least once the grotesque allegations that many Jews hear weekly, if not daily: Jews are literal Nazis, Israel is committing genocide by ethnically cleansing the Palestinian population, Gazans are being held in at best a ghetto like Warsaw…but additionally an actual concentration camp…and also exactly the same horror as Auschwitz itself.

Aside from the demonstrably ridiculous fiction, and the fact that if Israel were truly committing “genocide,” it is occurring on the most Jewish time ever, why choose these terms specifically?

It is not simply because genocide is the worst thing that one can do, and Nazis are the worst thing that one can be. It is because some of the worst crimes in modern human history are also inextricably tied to Jewish history. Never underestimate the absolute intention and gleeful thrill of deliberately inflicting greater present pain on Jews by co-opting and warping the pain of their past. The cherry on top for these quintessential antisemites is watching Jews being forced to defend themselves, their humanity, and overall reality against horrific accusations. To be a disingenuous distraction, waste of time, and energy drain, is pure victory in itself.

This should be abhorrent enough on its own, but there is more intentional malevolence behind this perversion of history and morality than just deranged spite: comparing Jews to Nazis lays the framework for first rationality of dehumanization and then acceptability of destruction.

The tactic is unfortunately working.

Most commonly seen among the general population is passive dehumanization. No one would ever second guess any other country for needing to eliminate threats of terrorism despite the undesirable consequence of civilian casualties that might arise. Every other nation would be granted the acknowledgment that their own well being would depend on the utter eradication of all terrorists next to them and would also be worth the effort. However, the world doesn’t see Israel as worthy of well being and doesn’t value the lives of its citizens as full humans, so it doesn’t value its necessary eradication of terror over casualties.

The West has become unnervingly lax on acceptable antisemitism, due to the same dark truth: there is no reason to take implied or even literal violence seriously when you don’t take the wellbeing of Jews seriously. Therefore, it is now acceptable to yell “death to Jews” in the street (and I do mean literally, above and beyond the slogans that only “imply” that), to harass, taunt, and block Jews from public areas and roads, and repeatedly threaten Jewish spaces. With this as the new standard, it comes as no surprise that assault and murder of Jews has had new room to increase as well…all while “progressive” nations sit back in seeming moral paralysis, insisting through top-notch gaslighting that the most obviously reprehensible still requires context.

The unfortunate itching of history to repeat itself gravely proves that Holocaust education has not been globally successful, assuming it has been bothered to be attempted at all. For too many that even experienced any education, it appears to have only been a memorization of numbers (twelve years of Hitler’s regime, six million dead Jews) while the crucial takeaways of why and how have been lost. As a result, we have the modern phenomenon of diluting the grave concept of Nazism into anyone that disagrees with the perpetually offended. Further, it is shallowly assumed that such horrific hate can only be a manifestation of a single political side, with those on the opposing side utterly oblivious to the transformation of themselves into that which they live to despise. Thus, among everything else the past few years, we’ve seen Palestinian flags flown by Auschwitz, the planning of a “Kufiyas in Buchenwald” rally at that very site, Anne Frank’s likeness wrapped in keffiyehs at best and her memorial defaced and hidden from further defacement at worst, and Western youth calling for the same global genocide that their grandparents likely fought against.

What we can take away from both past and recent history is that when the conditions are right, the sentiment hasn’t necessarily changed…rather, the resentment has simply intensified now that Jews are not sitting ducks without a nation and army this time around.

The Dara Horn quote that “people love dead Jews” could not be any more appropriate in this age. The only genuinely politically savory Jews are the ones to be pitied and forgotten in death, as these are the ones who no longer pose a nuisance, and certainly not the ones who both dare to exist and are capable of fighting back. It truly bothers too many to the core that we even choose to keep surviving, and worse, solidifying our survival through our own defended nation.

Antisemitism certainly hasn’t changed over the decades, or millennia, but fortunately neither has our resilience. What has changed is our fortified strength of community and resources, so we, and not just the bigotry of others, decide our future now. It’s a good thing, too, because if there’s one basic truth that we have sadly learned multiple times now over the past century, it is that most of the world is at very best apathetic to a fault and will go out of its way to do nothing to help, so it’s truly on Israel and Jews to defend ourselves…which, despite both the age old and current disdain, is exactly what we will keep doing.

“Never again” isn’t just a nice little slogan for hypocritical world leaders to mindlessly say or parasitic movements to cringely appropriate…we actually mean it. Israel may not have been created because of the Holocaust, but the Holocaust showed the need for Israel, and because of Israel, we won’t have to face one again. And much to the dismay of all our timeless naysayers and bigots, Jews will sustain the ultimate vindication…continuing to not only survive but absolutely thrive, just as we always have.

It’s a swastika in a political sticker on a pole, out in the open, placed intentionally for all to see. An occurrence by no means unique, as one can easily pass by at least three of them on any given day.

It’s the inevitable label of “Nazi” issued to many, Jews included, for simply having the gall to know and defend basic realities in the world.

And it’s the corrupted confidence to assert nauseatingly false equivalences of personal politics with Holocaust victims.

How did we get to a point where evoking symbols loaded with death has become vernacular? How did we get to a point where such macabre mockery is not only second nature, but seen as righteous?

Everyone already knows about classic Holocaust denial from the right and the modern Holocaust inversion of the left.

But there’s another phenomenon taking place that is potentially worse, as it has crept into and become normalized in mainstream society, not simply spewed from the fringes. This is the gradual and grave dilution of the Holocaust through universalism: an insidious process of belittlement, with harm that is far from anything little.

Let’s jump right in and state the should-be obvious:

There is never an appropriate time to call someone a Nazi unless one is an actual Nazi. To do so is egregiously wrongful in both facts and morals, ensuring a dual disservice to both past and present, as careless belittlement dilutes meaning and reality.

Yet the grotesque glossing-over and perversion of Holocaust rhetoric has become alarmingly endemic, through a skyrocketing in accepted hyperbole that has transformed the most serious human offenses into political barbs. The rotten cherry on top is that Jews are by no means immune to participating in this sloppy behavior either, making such historical manipulation even more grotesque.

As a result, a Nazi has diminished into a label for anyone who dares to disagree with the perpetually offended. So Immigration and Customs Enforcement becomes the literal Gestapo. Illegal immigrants are now in the same situation as Jews in the 1930s. Detention facilities or mishandled land are analogous with concentration camps. Legal war or regulations are resultingly genocide. “Never again” is hashtagged and plastered onto any cause du jour.

With this pervasive overuse and abuse, it isn’t too difficult to understand how drawing swastikas in public has become acceptable.

Yet none of this is acceptable or comparable. Someone who holds a different set of beliefs or political registration does not a Nazi make. A pompous politician or United States president is not equivalent to Hitler, no matter how much one dislikes him. Deporting noncitizens is not in the same universe as rounding up Jewish citizens. Detention facilities have never been for the deliberate extermination of their inhabitants. Retaliation against terrorist aggressors will never be in the realm of a genocide…and though it should never even need to be acknowledged, neither is revoking access to puberty blockers.

Ironically, those so against the sin of appropriation are seemingly A-OK with co-opting Jewish history for their own desires. But if one’s personal cause has merit, it should be able to stand by itself, not sloppily propped up by another. Disrespecting a nearly unmatchable horror of history brings no respect to anything else…especially not the individual attempting such moral fraud.

So why is it that the Holocaust does not receive the absolute respect it deserves?

The societal failure of universalizing the Holocaust has essentially proven that Holocaust education has not been universally successful…assuming it has been bothered to be attempted at all. For too many that even experienced any education, it appears to have only been a memorization of when and who, while crucial takeaways of why and how have been lost. Stark truths of depth of hate and enormity of destruction have either not been properly conveyed or sufficiently ingrained, so hard realities have waned into soft metaphors.

The objective reality of the NSDAP is watered down to a subjective concept of personally-abhorred politics. Naturally, a Holocaust widens to perceived injustice against any vague group, versus the industrialized extermination of a very specific one. Anne Frank is mercilessly tokenized to a generic darling of victimhood and quoted for emotional effect without real respect to the circumstances being referenced. The oft parroted, “it didn’t start with gas chambers,” factual yet diminutive, tends to only serve to demonstrate a serious lack of understanding for how and why it did truly start, frequently becoming simply a vehicle to lead into a completely inappropriate analogy. And with the consistent equalization of other demographics slaughtered by Hitler’s regime, it’s been far too easy to lapse into an egalitarian fantasy of targeting that no longer centers Jews in their own genocide. All sadly proving that any shallow homage afforded is often covering a deep lacking in genuine respect to the subject.

But it isn’t just that education has seemingly failed. It was an inevitability of a society providing it whose standards have as well. When crimes of humanity become colloquial, we’ve got a real problem. It is truly the exposure of the depth of human narcissism and entitlement to cheapen one of the worst events in history by weaponizing it for political grievances.

Given second-to-none Jewish determination and success at rising above the victimization thrust upon us, Jewish trauma of the past is all too often viewed as acceptable to passively diminish or actively exploit in the present.

On one hand, Jewish-specific things tend to be expected to share their uniqueness and importance with other movements and groups and not allow significance for themselves alone. One only needs to look at the Blue Square campaign to see this in action, which once a campaign strictly for fighting Jew hate soon became one that included fighting all hate. Or that fascinating pattern of how often antisemitism just cannot be uttered without “Islamophobia” in the same breath. Why wouldn’t Jews be expected to not only accept sharing their targeted trauma, but to move out of the way entirely?

And with hallowed-turned-hollowed definitions as up for grabs as integrity, it only makes sense that others would actively steal such trauma to manipulate for their own movements and agendas, as it’s infinitely easier to push such irrationality and immorality when stretching and warping reality has already become standard practice.

But this historical and moral vandalism shouldn’t just register as absolutely offensive: it should be acknowledged as darkly reckless as well.

Such fast and loose cosplay isn’t just thoroughly degrading to what the Nazis’ victims actually lived through and died from. When sacrosanct events are allowed to be diminished from their essential singularity, not only is permission given for continued disrespect of the past, but the bar is dangerously lowered for the future.

If any person can be a Nazi, a Nazi now means nothing. If anything can be the beginning of a Holocaust, or the Holocaust itself, the actual Holocaust fades into nothing. So do its unique lessons. And that might be the real point.

Toleration for the continued misuse of language will lead to the abuse of what it represents for other purposes until society simply has no use for it any longer.

Stripping the core from the historical event also strips its promised assurances. Guilt can be minimized along with safeguards. And when past and present antisemitism don’t have to be taken more seriously than a metaphor, future repetition of its crimes becomes more than one.

But the Holocaust will never be a metaphor for anything else. It was a horror of horrors singular in itself, deliberate in its destruction, and ages in the making. So much in society is up for discussion, but this cannot be without losing more than we can afford of our grip on both reality and humanity. As survivors fade and we are left with only words for memory, the world must honor its promise to never forget the desecration it once allowed by not allowing any further desecration of such words themselves.

When you think of great female role models in sports, who do you think of?

Likely those who are extraordinary athletes, never took no for an answer, reached the pinnacle of their field, and then extended a hand to lift other young women up the ladder of opportunity to join them…not take an ideological hacksaw to it from the top and sever the same fair chance to rise. Those who would embrace the International Olympic Committee’s return to reality through mandating that female Olympics be for female Olympians…not chastise it for the way it might hurt men’s feelings.

And then we have Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird. Two women who have long benefitted from the intense work and sacrifice of female athletes who fought before (and for) them…and two women who are utterly quick to forget that they owe the next generation the same effort and respect.

The couple has loudly advocated for male intrusion in sports for some time, and they certainly did not hold back any opinions on the latest episode of their podcast regarding the IOC’s recent decision on the exact opposite.

Besides being yet another duo who should retire the podcast aspirations, they represent the classic handmaidens so superficially despised by faux feminists and so deeply desired by the male movement they serve. Through the traditional trans trifecta of hypocrisy, conflation, and intimidation, they comprehensively demonstrate gender’s gamut of bogus arguments against basic women’s rights…all while effectively producing a complete argument for the simplicity and necessity of female sports.

I’m still not quite sure what it is about a podcast mic and internet connection that makes people seemingly gain a humiliation fetish and lose their actual mind for all to see, yet here we are, for better or worse.

Rapinoe: “A really horrible rule that came out from the International Olympic Committee. They’ve announced a new policy that they’re calling — I can’t even believe they’re calling it this, because it has nothing to do with protecting women, and I feel, like, two people who played at the very highest level for every competition that you possibly could don’t agree with this and never felt like this was an issue at all — ‘The Protection of the Female (Women’s) Category.’”

In her opening statement, Rapinoe has decided to dually decimate her name in one fell swoop. On one hand, through sheer incompetence, by claiming that an act specifically to defend female sports from male intrusion has nothing to do with protecting women and their interests. On the other, through out of touch entitlement, by believing that her personal experience and opinions trump all others’…that because she was fortunate enough to spend her career without much of this madness, she could feel like it was never an issue at all. That because she and her fiancée were elite athletes who disagree with sex-based categories, that outweighs every other athlete who does not. It is a perfect portrayal of the two sides needed to uphold this movement of narcissistic insanity.

Rapinoe: “They are limiting people eligible to compete in the women’s category to those who qualify as what they’re calling ‘biological females.’”

Honestly, thank goodness there exist such confident clowns willing to broadcast this particular brand of idiocy on the internet, because a sane person really could not make up this sort of thing.

Yes, they are indeed limiting eligibility in the women’s category to women. You know, the only ones who belonged in the first place until you and your cohort of masquerading dicks started demanding otherwise.

Funny how the ideologues always frame this issue as “limiting,” “banning,” and “excluding,” as if female sports are somehow not enough on their own.

Rapinoe: “This committee is framing it as based in science, which it’s not . . . we already know that biology, as much as we want it to be just nice and clean and tight and perfectly in one category or another…it’s not. We know that.”

Correction: you think that. Those living in scientific reality (as opposed to ideological fantasy) recognize that biology, when it comes to the facts of mammalian sexes, is far more definitive than bad actors feel compelled to preach. All studies (such as the ones the IOC used) plus common sense unequivocally demonstrate that no matter the amount of opposite hormone supplementation, the exponential advantages of male puberty are undeniable and irreversible.

Rapinoe: “So now what we’re doing, is subjecting everybody, all women, and all people who are identifying as women, to this really invasive testing that only to me just says, like, oh, so we’re just trying to whittle it down to a certain type of woman. Is that what we’re doing?”

Now we care about what’s invasive?

Accidental delineation of women and “people who identify as women” aside, this “really invasive testing,” is a one and done saliva test, and far less complicated than the drug tests athletes must take regularly, as Megan and Sue would know. It is certainly telling to consider a cheek swab invasive, yet men on women’s teams and in women’s locker rooms not.

And, yes, we are trying to whittle down the artificially overgrown women’s category to the ones born female. The ones without male biology. The ones we used to just call “women.”

Rapinoe: “It’s like there’s been so few athletes that are trans or competing as trans and it’s like so blatant on its face . . . it’s actually like on a single hand when we are talking about sports.”

Ah, the classic battle of incompetence versus indifference. If Rapinoe truly believes that “the thing that never happens” is still barely happening, she is an embarrassment to athletics for being oblivious to the undeniable. Conversely, if Rapinoe believes that there is an acceptable number of men who are entitled to intrude in women’s sports, she is admitting that there is an acceptable number of women to forfeit their opportunities and dreams…and she is a disgrace to athletics for denying others what she was ensured herself.

Rapinoe: “So, it’s just like we’re going to have this whole campaign for all these years to just hate trans people . . . it’s just a total act like acquiescence to the Trump administration and to really right-wing, conservative politics that really is just like bringing down so much hate against such a small percentage of people who are just trying to live their life. So, it’s just horrible and I’m just sickened by it really.”

This is the movement’s most successful ploy in action: the empathy trap. In this favorite tool of such ideologies, one is manipulated into believing that blind compassion for a chosen category supersedes all other truths, intentionally hiding the worst realities beneath it.

Let’s be completely honest. If this were only a “small percentage of people who are just trying to live their life,” we would never have arrived at the moment where a sizable percentage of the West decided they must literally police others’ lives and reality itself.

For a movement based on politics, followers genuinely cannot fathom that others may actually prioritize reason and ethics over politics themselves. They truly believe that such women’s rights are partisan, strictly a bigotry of the right, and through that, they admit that not only do their personal politics not support such rights, but that the left has fundamentally abandoned women.

Here the crux of it all is ultimately exposed: when one decides to frame women’s rights as an anti-trans hate campaign, one has admitted that not only is the trans campaign itself anti-woman, but oneself is no longer for women either. To quote Rapinoe, I’m really sickened by it all as well.

All blathering to the contrary, the IOC’s announcement wasn’t a hasty, rushed decision based on nebulous opinions nor a campaign of political hate: it was an unbelievably overdue admission of one of the most obvious truths on earth.

Like the countable points on a scoreboard or measurable time on the clock, sports are based on the tangible. In the case of the players, that means objective sexed bodies…not subjective feelings or internal identities.

Not a single opportunity for any woman or girl should ever be sacrificed for the self-centered wishes of any man or boy. No athlete should ever have to make the call to forfeit against an intruder, forfeiting all one’s work and dedication. No woman should ever have her lifelong goals crushed. No girl should ever think that it is better to not even begin because there was simply no point in even trying. And no fellow female should be complicit in allowing that to happen.

It takes a special kind of denial for any woman to ignore that what makes us physically different from men must allow for different needs in the athletic world…but it requires a surreal level of betrayal for retired female athletes, past careers safe from such pathetic farce, to insist that today’s athletes simply deal with it.

Much to the dismay of those who looked up to their talent and discipline, these traitors have plainly shown an unfortunate, hypocritical truth among an unfortunate amount of women in sports today, which no amount of real success nor false empathy can disguise: fairness for thee, not for me. Once I get mine, yours is meaningless.

Today’s women and girls deserve real role models: ones who won’t scoff from lofty retirement at problems beneath them, ones who prioritize the future of female sport over past accomplishments…ones who will stand with those who truly have and are being excluded from what is theirs, not for those intruding where they do not belong.

And when it comes down to it, when you not only passively ignore but actively choose to fight against one’s own, you’re not just throwing in the towel on female sports for others. You’re throwing in the towel on your own legacy as well.

Last Thursday, another attack on the Jewish community occurred. Another in what has become a regular series of attacks on Jewish institutions, and another in a series of missing a greater truth.

And so now we have another round of increased patrol cars outside our Jewish establishments. Another round of surface thoughts offered by politicians, minus deeper reflection taken. Another pause of observance before it’s business as usual for the rest of the country…while our own community is left wondering how long until the next.

As a Jew in Pittsburgh, this hits home. However, this attack would hit home for any Jew, as this external pattern and internal worry has become the norm for all of us.

But to state the most obvious truth of our time: this isn’t normal.

Many have already written off this latest violence, as this time no one was killed who shouldn’t have been, choosing to ignore the deadly outcome of what was intended. But we absolutely cannot lose sight of the original goal: a massacre of over one hundred children and their nearly fifty teachers, by a barbarian who placed his bigoted narcissism over the lives of the most innocent.

So, yes, the prepared safeguards thankfully did their jobs as needed to prevent such horror. But why should all of them have to be standard practice?

Why does every Jewish institution need at least one armed guard? Why have guards been standard practice for decades?

Why should any place of worship need to have training for an assault like this, by a Jewish organization created for it?

Why do security costs for Jewish institutions across the country need to total $765 million?

Somehow two percent of the national population has to deal with nearly seventy percent of all religious-based hate crimes. That’s not normal.

Neither is it for so many to go to bat for the very perpetrator of such a heinous crime.

In the case of any other attack on any other group, there is typically a uniform outpouring of support for the victims and their community…not the victimizer.

That individual is rightfully and unequivocally condemned, never excused or defended.

Yet in the past week, that norm has been lacking to missing. At best, there has been passive downplaying. At worst, active revision of the entire narrative.

Media has gifted this monster with softened coverage bordering on eulogistic, with focus shifted from the community dealing with a horrific intended child massacre to his past and the current state of his family’s community.

A sympathetic to the point of derangement online chorus has gone even further, with contesting angles of “can’t believe such a nice guy had this happen to him” and “it’s understandable that the tragic death of his (Hezbollah) brothers would make him feel the need to take out his anger on innocent children” vying for best spin.

Worse, if that’s possible, is that in this case the blame has been all but completely lifted from the man who willing drove a vehicle full of weapons into an American preschool to everyone’s favorite fixation…Israel.

Israel, who took action against this man’s terrorist brothers in Lebanon, forced him to take action against kids in America.

The Jews, who dare to defend their lives in Israel, must have theirs ended here.

Humanize the criminal, and therefore dehumanize the victims. But really, what other entitled lunacy can be expected after years of our synagogues stained as evil Zionist centers, while their terrorists are lionized as freedom fighting activists?

This isn’t normal.

It should never be considered as such for people to go to such lengths to excuse and absolve an entire demographic…to ritually infantilize a population, to both others’ and their own demise…to simply accept as ordinary that one can have so much ingrained hate for another.

It isn’t normal. But the insidious truth is that a concerning amount of society does inherently view it as so.

What we’ve been witnessing is not simply a “rise in antisemitism” or “wave of Jew hate.” To label it as such is to diminish into transcience an already existing virus of hate which has fed off of complacency for ages. These escalating attacks here and around the world are the direct result of allowing appeasement and low expectations to reign over responsibility and accountability, due to an inability or flat out refusal to address the true core of the problem: too many ignore that antizionist Islam has absolute agency to breed and promote a terror-driven purpose, while too few truly believe that Jews have the absolute agency to ensure a secure future for themselves.

Because when it comes down to it, too many simply expect this situation for Jews, both in Israel and abroad. Whether it is kids there running to bomb shelters because of incoming explosions, or kids here running from an explosive-laden truck that just rammed their school…whether it is a numbness to jihadist violence, now genuinely believed to be a tolerated part of culture by now, or perhaps an assumption that Jews just must have had it coming…Jews are very simply not seen as full-fledged people deserving of the complete and equal empathy, security, and liberty that others assume for themselves.

None of these ridiculous assumptions are normal, and should in no universe ever be considered as such, but the world both accepts and expects them to be, and each day that they become more tolerable is a step further that modern society has sunk.

Our society needs to have a serious and vital conversation, not just about why it continues to deem this acceptably normal, but what this truly means for itself and its future. As we’ve witnessed so far, one thing is for sure: the status quo is fatal.

“She,” a small term for a vast history.

“She,” possibly the most passively eroded and actively polluted reality of the past decade.

The choice to call men “she” is never an innocent, neutral, or passive act.

It strips a word, our word, of any meaning and all value and hands its ownership to those who are owed none. It reduces women from a specific, complex, and inescapable reality down to a nebulous feeling (and often extremely sexist ideation) that a man can opt into as desired, though women can never opt out of themselves. Such theft robs confidence and self worth in the young, having to watch their protectors give away her reality to make way for his fantasy.

Allowing “she” to become meaningless creates for the loss of earned rights, opportunities, and overall respect. This is not a dramatic leap: it is simply the next logical step when prioritizing certain feelings over others’ actuality. The ongoing grand larceny of our medals, awards, spaces, safety, and pure dignity, through reaching the depth of demanding a woman to call her rapist “she,” would never have been possible without first stealing our language.

Despite this, many people equate certain, special men being correctly called “he” as an insult, as one is not going by what they personally find respectful.

But what about what women find respectful?

Somehow the former always seems to trump the latter, whether consciously or subconsciously.

So why is a man’s desired language worth respecting, but not women’s concerns over his appropriation of theirs?

Why is it important to show empathy to a man’s perceived condition or situation (the irony being that the driving force behind said condition is much darker than acknowledged), but there is rarely any empathy left for women calling out the resulting misogyny?

Why is hurting a man’s feelings to be avoided at all costs, but women’s feelings while watching their own reduction can be dismissed as irrelevant? Further, why do so many assume women do not even have these feelings?

If the reaction is to smirk while listening to this and think it a ridiculous overreaction, try replacing the characteristic of sex with any other, and observe how instinctive the offense becomes at the disrespect shown within this analogy in terms of race, disability, or sexuality. Should white individuals be allowed to appropriate and identify into organizations, spaces, and scholarships created by and for other racial demographics? Should perfectly abled people be able to identify as disabled to receive special benefits and funding? Should heterosexual individuals be granted access to same sex attracted spaces or organizations and demand to be accommodated?

If all of these appropriations would rationally be unacceptable, why are women not afforded the same respect when it comes to something as significant and immutable as our actual sex?

The answer always comes back to this eternally simple truth: women are the only demographic of all that include no men.

And so we are left with a depressing further truth: despite decades of effort to overturn the following, women still are often not fully seen nor respected as actual whole humans who experience equally significant feelings and realities as men their male counterparts. Any impact on women’s own mental health, let alone tangible rights and opportunities, is both a negligible issue and acceptable byproduct of catering to the prioritized men who are more entitled to our words and reality than we ourselves are.

Still, many naive hearts out there will insist on defending this dehumanization in the timeless quest of simply “being kind.” Yet “being kind” is a loaded choice, and one’s choice of to whom to be kind will typically be at the expense of kindness to others.

For men, naive good-naturedness doesn’t really cut it when so much is on the line for the other 51%. What may only be an inconsequential concept to muse over for one’s own sex is much more real and sinister for the rest of us. To even reduce an existential nightmare down to philosophical play is to shamelessly admit that one doesn’t believe members of the female sex are worth as much as male desire.

And for women, there is absolutely no need to be kind at the cost of being dishonest and cruel to herself and fellow females. Our existence is not something to cheapen with niceties into a costume given away for sympathy or a prize awarded for good behavior. We are all worth more and deserve much more than that which attempts to redefine and flatten us into a one dimensional caricature. Recognizing, standing up for, and living that knowledge may not be as catchy or popular of a slogan, but that is the truest form of kind that one can be.

“She” is already inclusive enough at over half of global humanity and does not need the forced and false inclusion of sinister and sexist intrusion, as the insertion of those who aren’t meant to be always leads to the exclusion of those who are. Women are allowed our own language, reality, and rights, and despite popular opinion, we are actually allowed a movement of our own to organize on behalf of our specific needs and issues that affect us solely. Not only is it perfectly okay to state this, it is essential to have clear definitions and boundaries if a group hopes to ever address problems and achieve anything concrete for themselves. After all, how can one genuinely stand for women while lacking enough respect to allow us our true reality?

How can one legitimately define women’s rights if one cannot even define the owner of said rights?

And how can one ever hope to genuinely protect such rights if it is not possible to state mere truth without concern of social sin nor fear of repercussion?

Concede language, concede reality…and, ultimately, concede a future.

It began with “she,” but it never intended to end there, and this movement in pastel clothing will keep taking more and worse. As with most issues created by men yet thrust onto us, it is sadly up to more women to wake up and recognize that they not only own the right to “she,” but the intrinsic obligation to defend it. We owe that spirit to every generation which sacrificed for “she” to be something of pride. We owe such courage to today’s women and girls who are being taught that our steadfast reality can be reduced and perverted to a meaningless label able to be gifted to those who mock us most. And we owe authentic progress to future generations who may one day be able to simply laugh at the utter asininity of a past coup against biological truth.

These three letters are ours only, because this existence is ours only.

Because our reality is real enough, our feelings valid enough, and our needs worthy enough without any aberration and co-optation.

And because despite the chauvinistic circusry that promotes otherwise, “she” actually means something, for both women and vital reality at large, and in this month and always, that is something worth holding on to.

Not for everyone, of course. Condolences are in order for quite a few American Congress members, Hollywood hacks, and a slew of Western social media accounts always to the rescue to educate on international affairs. Although it has just been swell listening to all the screeching against the Big and Little Satans’ Big Day Out, boy, has this event revealed some very interesting truths about too many among us.

It’s not quite news that a concerning number of people have allowed certain politicians and certain ideologies to take up long term residence in their heads, to the extent that partisan pettiness has deepened from a part time hobby to a consuming of all thought. So let’s clear up a few “misconceptions” that no rational person could entertain:

No, “negotiations” were not progressing, nor even occurring. Those require both parties to operate in good faith to qualify as such.

No, this is not “Iraq 2.0.” Get real.

No, this is not to distract from the Epstein files. Have you missed the 47 years of demonic rule, and 40,000 civilians slaughtered in the past two months?

No, this is not to “postpone midterms.”

I know Trump rots the brain, but how in the world would that even happen?

If you truly cannot fathom why this was necessary, you are not mentally or morally equipped to be speaking on the subject, though it is entertaining to witness the buffet of humiliation fetishes play out on social media.

This was not to start a war, but to finally end one of pure terror which should never have been allowed to go on this long.

The IRGC is literally the epitome of the fascist, totalitarian regime that so many revolve their identities and lack of lives around pretending to fight in our democracy. Truly, it doesn’t get more ironic than all of the “resistance” and “revolution” types fighting to sustain status quo and against literal, meaningful, and lasting humanitarian change. But, of course, that would be enabling the false assumption that such defiance was ever to bring stability over destabilization, collective need over narcissistic fantasy…and not simply to resist reality for the hell of it.

Change, and permanent resolution, had to happen at some point. Anyone who thought this could, would, or should end any other way, or simply continue as is, was either operating under outdated delusions, false cultural equivalences, or near-sociopathic callousness with entire populations’ lives.

The operation was brilliant, as were the others that lead to it. Genuinely, one should take a step back from the entitlement to armchair quarterback life across the world and take a minute to admire the impeccable line of action from these two nations against incredible enemies over the past couple years to bring the world to such a meaningful moment of opportunity.

Unfortunately, the eternal truth is that a lot of people are and will always be very quick to love the benefits they passively receive from peace and democracy, but painfully slow in recognizing what it takes to actively keep that peace and democracy.

Thank goodness the adults in charge at this moment do recognize and understand this reality for what it is, and are willing to make the tough decisions to protect all who are lacking in such fortitude yet never lacking in compulsion to demonstrate that.

So for everyone else, feel free to snark, vent, even epically “crash out,” as they say. Congratulations on the blessing of living in a nation safe enough to not only allow but encourage that. Congratulations to the Iranians, who now have an actual chance at reaching that dream as well. And congratulations to the world for becoming a little safer for all. While it is certainly accurate that no one knows yet exactly how this all ends, what we do know today is that there is finally a chance for a real beginning.

The state of our union, as again shown this week, was and is both predictably status quo and truly fascinating to observe.

I am no politician. I can’t fake any emotion or feign support for anything or anyone I disdain to save my life. But in a hall teeming with slick actors to master manipulators who make a living off of doing just that, it is something else to watch the ego of personal politics usurp all necessary else.

It’s hard to believe that the following bare minimum common sense must be explained to people who make decisions for our country, let alone drive on the same streets. Yet here we still are.

When it comes to this, or any other, administration’s work, people aren’t ever going to be completely satisfied. Most people won’t be half satisfied with any administration. And many will never be satisfied at all.

No one is special in this regard.

The problem, and the reason for how we got to the state of this disjointed union, is because too many think that they are.

And so once again on full display was the hubris that personal ideology overrides collective, professional responsibility. Dislike of the current commander-in-chief allows for heckling and screams, disagreement with policy is reason to skip the entire speech en masse. And the need to resist the despised ass at the podium provides not only a right but a duty to become an even bigger one.

The hitch in such tantrum behavior is that it never actually hurts the target of their loathing whatsoever…it only ever hurts their own image and interests. And let’s be honest: this administration knows that tendency and truth full well, and, for a second year, set Democrats up for some very public failure, which their members happily walked into.

The media has since labeled this a ploy, and they aren’t exactly wrong. The “regime” fully banked on Democrat ego and seized the chance to capitalize on the embarrassingly inevitable, serving up on a silver platter missed opportunity after missed opportunity to salvage face, as well as opportunity after opportunity to step into shit.

The simple reality, and therefore brilliance, is that none of these should have been issues tainted with partisanship. They were universal tragedies to be universally acknowledged, or universal successes to be universally celebrated. But contrary to their projecting accusations, the Democrats chose to uphold politics over these issues, willingly punishing Americans of all backgrounds in the quest to punish a certain one.

The thing is, not standing for the victims of blatant, needless crime doesn’t undermine Trump, but it does undermine the dead’s memory and their surviving families. Hook.

Not cheering for heroic Americans doesn’t show less support for Trump, but it does show that one doesn’t support such sacrifice in the name of our country. Line.

And, as has been and will continue to be plastered across screens through November, not finding a way to get to one’s feet to confirm that the first duty of the American government is indeed to protect American citizens doesn’t negatively affect Trump in the least, but it does negatively affect one’s credibility in serving said citizens.

Sinker.

In an all too easy opportunity to set aside pettiness for duty, and a chance to demonstrate that it is definitively possible to put American interests over hate for Trump, the party simply could not rise to the occasion. While they may not have wanted to play into the Donald show, they absolutely played themselves.

But when it comes down to it, Democrats aren’t just hurting themselves with such juvenile attitudes and games. They’re hurting their own constituents, trading real world issues for the narcissistic production of which they accuse others. All of these “public servants” deeply hope that Trump utterly fails, knowing that also means Americans will fail…yet as we’ve come to realize, that is a perfectly acceptable risk for the ultimate political prize.

Unfortunately for the party, they’re not only losing the plot, but the public as well, as a not-insignificant portion of their base has been waking up to their apparent expendability. Watching repeated scorn for 80/20 issues and neglect for fundamental humanity is a constant reminder for why many non-Republican voters made Republican victories so easy. Serious doubt and reservations have been instilled in the more moderate wing. Independents are being pushed away permanently. And any remaining respect across the aisle is withering to nothing. All in all, Democrats could not be making this any easier for those whom they hate.

More than any other takeaway from the event, the Democratic Party continues to prove they still have taken nothing away from their past failures. And after over a year of pretending to take stock of it all and autopsy their failures in the name of wanting to learn what went wrong…they genuinely have zero honest desire to do so or to even want to know.

I wrote in 2022 that this very ideological behavior would lose them the White House and more in the following election, and I’ll state again that Democrats will never regain standing until they come down from the clouds and learn to prioritize actual people over ideas of them. Until they finally figure out that the country desires and deserves more than just hollow performance. And until they can rally around something to genuinely stand for, not simply against.

Until then, they are free to boo, sulk, scream, and ignore everyone in the room and across the nation who they just can’t manage to lend a hand or concern, if tarnished by He Who Must Not Be Named. They’ll have to genuinely determine if that method is truly working out for them. They’d better not take too long, however, lest the rest of us determine that it just might be working out better for us.

It was a dark day that we could see coming, facing inevitable heartbreak that we could try to intellectually imagine yet still not emotionally prepare for, even after all this time.

It was one of the darkest days since 10/7 itself, as it reopened old wounds of the absolute pinnacle of evil that many pretended to not see, and reminded us of the astonishing betrayal that we could no longer unsee.

It was a dark day indeed, but it was also a blindingly bright one, as on 2/20/25, the world was finally forced to see what it refused to for over 500 days.

The story of the Bibases is perhaps one of the most well-known and widely watched horror stories of all of 10/7 and across all of the world, for the sheer display of the worst depravity that humans can offer: the indefensible, haunting abduction of a family in their pajamas, father bloodied, mother sobbing and clutching her children that are too young to even comprehend the extent of the terror that is happening to them.

As a result, this family became a symbol for the entire community. Not simply because they were among the purest victims, and not just because they endured the darkest nightmare, but because they embody the ultimate microcosm for 10/7 itself, encompassing and exposing the very worst of all of its abhorrent devastation and searing truths.

It was always sickly ironic that the haranguing “all eyes on” crowd could never spare any eyes for the greatest war crime that faded into the single most bizarre afterthought of the entire war: the hostages, whose very existence was so objectively criminal that it cut through the falsest of narratives to the harshest of realities. Yet there simply couldn’t be any eyes on what no one could let themselves risk seeing: a truth that could never be defended, and therefore a truth that must be buried.

On a day that became so perverted and propagandized, the Bibas family still shines as a neon-orange marquee of the impossible to deny horror that took place. And the reason why it is so easy to see is the very reason why it had to be hidden from sight.

This particular family completely blew open the reality of the victims of the attack from which so many had turned away. They showed that these stolen hostages were peace loving civilians, not genocidal colonizers. They were kibbutz dwellers, not war criminals. They demonstrated both the targeting of families and those of literally every age, as there was no discriminating when it came to stealing Jews. More than anything, they exposed the most denied truth of all: that they were fellow human beings. Humans, who were one moment sleeping soundly, and the next having their entire lives ripped from them.

And by exposing who exactly was attacked, the truth about the attackers themselves was exposed as well.

The only reason we ever even knew the extent of the terror experienced that day is because someone made the choice to literally stand there with a camera, sadistically filming each moment of agony to publicize, as they believed so much in their cause that it should be preserved forever.

Every second of horrific footage not only exposed the victims, but the true, irredeemable nature of the victimizers as well. Every second showed that these thieves were not freedom fighters when fighting and stealing the freedom of mere children. They were not passive, devoid-of-agency souls when actively seeking out families to terrorize. And they were certainly not justified in their “resistance” when a mother herself couldn’t even resist because her sons are at gunpoint.

But perhaps even more damning than the truth of what they are not is the truth of what they are. The Bibas’ abductors, like so many others that day, were not Hamas militants, but the very civilians of Gaza that the world so dotes on, exposing an all too insidious truth: that almost half of the Gazans who broke into and pillaged Israel were simply “civilians,” that there is no true delineation between labels of terrorist and civilian, and that terror through Jew hatred is not only woven into this society, but the core feature of it.

In revealing the barest truths of the hostages and the hostage takers, the Bibas family didn’t just shine a spotlight on the raw reality of the massacre and the timeless ideology of loathing behind it. It absolutely eviscerated the predominantly preferred and pushed Israel-as-oppressor and Palestine-as-victim narrative.

Therefore, like all such dangerous and unacceptable honesty, it had to be hidden, gaslit, and perverted at any cost. And so this particular family didn’t just reveal the vilest of the antisemitism that has lived among us…it unveiled the actual abyss of inhumanity.

In derangement seemingly reserved specifically for Jew-hate, hostage posters had to be grotesquely defaced and violently torn down, as it literally burned to see the faces of those who disproved everything. Lies were spun and narratives were spread, from “no evidence” of abduction to being fully deserving of it. A toddler was now guilty of being an ethnic cleanser. A literal baby was now a literal Nazi. And a mother bore the ultimate crime by daring to bear future racist Zionists.

As viscerally sickening as it was to watch the perverse propaganda play out, it was inevitable. This family’s story always had to be utterly belittled and denied in its savagery, because to admit the reality of their suffering is to concede the existence of humanity. Obviously this is a completely unacceptable and dangerous truth to even flirt with acknowledging, as it clashes with the entire goal of severing Jews from the ability to possess humanity. And if one can reattach humanity to us, one is then left with the complication of pesky empathy for those worthy of compassion. Therefore, anything and everything became fair game in order to suppress the brutality that could never be allowed to be seen.

While this family certainly brought the biggest bigots into full view, their perfect victimhood and hideous treatment should have elicited universal sympathy from the majority of the world. Their story had everything to tug at the human heart. It was literally the easiest, bare minimum way, served up on a silver platter, to provide some sort of sympathy or solidarity with those victimized by the depths of evil. And yet, despite all that, somehow the squeamish world simply could not bring itself to make the effort.

So in this, the family exposed an even greater truth: the height of global apathy and the rock bottom of societal failing, to levels we didn’t realize even existed.

As we’ve gravely learned over this time, there are a few sobering truths that have plainly surfaced. Many people’s internal concern and external support is contingent upon the political temperature of the victim, and many people simply do not care at all. When it comes down to it, too many simply expect this situation for Jews, both in Israel and abroad. Whether that is because they either are so numb to jihadist violence by now that they genuinely believe it is just a normal part of life “over there” which requires toleration, or perhaps just assume that we must have had it coming…Jews are very simply not seen as full-fledged people deserving of complete and equal empathy, security, and liberty.

Each time another piece of violent evidence had been released over the months, I’d wondered whether this might be the one that makes more of a difference, if this one is the one that will restore humanity in others’ eyes.

But as time has moved along, this humanity of these hostages had to be ignored and denied for yet another reason: it would confess a gross void of one’s own if the choice were made to never act on knowledge of others’ dehumanization.

Even after that February 20, when the world was finally forced to see what it refused to for over 500 days,

even after coffins of children were paraded around, labeled with “date arrested,”

even after it was revealed that children were strangled, and a mother was beaten to death,

the depressing truth is that the average person will still choose to not recognize the horror at that point, because it would mean admitting complicity to themselves in that they have made the choice to ignore it for over 500 days.

This still is and will always be the most excruciating part of all of this madness.

Yes, there will always exist raging bigots of every variety in the human population, and their actions will always be enraging. Yet hate is nothing new to any of us, and so we’ve all adapted in our own ways of coping in order to lessen the blow of each time.

What is so much worse is the compounding apathy that is so much greater in size and in difficulty to fight. Yes, everyone has daily lives to live, but we all live them carrying the knowledge of this family and all the rest who were not allowed to live their own. No one within this comfortably western world should get away without sharing the burden of those forcibly hidden from public sight, especially when those closest have to retraumatize themselves daily to have any shred of awareness shared.

Shame on the whole world for turning away from the pain and closing their eyes to reality.

Shame on the world for making a man have to eulogize his wife and children whom he should’ve had for decades more…and somehow be the one to ask for their forgiveness.

Shame on the world for tasking such a small community with the ridiculous onus of having to constantly stress that this family even existed as hostages…and as fellow human beings.

Shame on the world for placing more value and humanity on this family’s abductors, captors, and murderers than the family itself ever received.

Shame on the world for abandoning not only the Bibases, but moral truth itself.

The same people who found it all too easy to look away for 500 days will more than likely continue to do so, as the blinding reality of both the horror and abandonment that this family represents can never be faced. They will hope to live down their moral shortcomings and ignore their part of playing no part in choosing truth.

But we can never look the other way on this.

People may have made the choice to turn away, yet we must always stare this straight in the face. And so in the end, the Bibas family has truly forced wide open all of our own eyes as well to a reality from which we can never come back.

None of us can coexist, nor should ever have to, with those who deem stealing babies, families, or any human being as justified. Israel cannot tolerate living next to a society which has built its own entirely upon the desire for another’s demise. The West cannot accept living among people that not only cheer this evil in our streets but defend it in our government. Any innocent ideas otherwise sadly were murdered along with the innocent members of that family.

Jews around the world feel painfully and palpably connected to a family they’ve never even met because this devastation truly means something, now and going forward. The only way that we can honor their short lives, find some meaning in their deaths, and respect their memory is to have respect for every and all Jewish life. To not only pledge but ensure that this inconceivable horror can never happen again, through tangible measures to guarantee security and an intangible shift in mindset…to fulfill a rightfully secure future for Jews to live unharmed in their Jewish homeland.

We owe it to this beacon of a family, to every past hostage, and every Jew that could have been one. We owe it to every past generation that sacrificed to get us to this point, and every future generation yet to come.

Yarden said that his final decision with Shiri was to fight and not surrender, and that is what we must keep doing now.

Fighting until everyone knows these names and crimes despite their best efforts to cover their eyes…

…until these are not simply names and faces of ignorable strangers, but real humans deserving of vital solidarity and undeserving of the brutal inhumanity that they have faced, both in barbaric terrorism and insufferable indifference…

…and until all eyes are wide open to the truth that ignoring unbridled hate when it comes to Jews is no longer something that will be tolerated in any modern society.

The Bibases deserved better. All Jews deserve better. And, honestly, the whole world should want to deserve better as well. These truths are not something that should have ever needed to be exposed, but now that they are, it’s time for no one to ever look away from them again.

Well, in what will certainly fail to go down as the news of the century, Imane Khelif, male boxer and Olympic medalist in female boxing, has finally publicly admitted that he is indeed male, pesky Y chromosomes and all. As if the world for both athletes and laymen couldn’t see the emperor with no female sex standing in front of it the entire time.

But that’s the issue. A large part of society chose not to see. And another part chose not to care that eighteen months ago, two men were given a free pass to an abuser’s dream: the ability to not only assault women on an international stage, but the chance to be absolutely celebrated for it.

Two men, who had failed more than one sex test at a reputable clinic, entered the 2024 Olympics as a sex they were not, and worse, they did it with the full knowledge of the IOC. Two men stole multiple women’s dreams and years of tremendous work, and both were rewarded with gold for their fraud.

At the expense of having more than only goals ended, one woman had to make the agonizing decision to forfeit rather than participate in the dangerous charade. How surreal it must have been to make that unbelievable yet necessary call, to not only go against everything one has trained for, but everything one stands for as an athlete, professional, and disciplined fighter.

For the women who did participate, the level of betrayal was additionally unfathomable. A man could punch a woman in the face as a world of media and spectators looked on. Male on female violence was not just acceptable, but a spectacle to officiate and judge. The crystal clear decision was that male feelings had won over female reality.

Yet while these female competitors, boxing association officials, and genuine feminists protested the unbelievable misogyny being broadcasted globally, many decided to protest calling a spade a spade. They claimed that Khelif and Lin were simply “masculine-looking women” who shouldn’t be insulted for appearances beyond their control. They claimed that it was (stop me if you’ve heard this before) right-wing propaganda and Nazi TERF bigotry to suggest that such “gender nonconformity” made them men. The pick-me cherry on top, of course, is that it was misogyny to call such a “woman” a man.

But pretending this man was a woman only hurts women. Pretending he was just an extremely masculine woman only hurts actually masculine women by having the world question their sex. Pretending that he was any kind of a woman only opens the door for further imposters to more easily mimic us and steal our opportunities, in athletics and beyond. Which, let’s not pretend isn’t exactly the point: after all, if an “ambiguous” man with a developmental disorder like Khelif is excluded from female sport, any case for unambiguous men with trans identities gets fully knocked out.

And for anyone who gave him the benefit of the doubt that “maybe he just didn’t know”…

He knew. His family knew.

If one is being raised as female and never begins menstruation at puberty, it will absolutely be examined why that is. Once illness and female conditions are ruled out, you’re left with the “condition” of being male. In this case, a male likely with 5-alpha reductase deficiency.

Such disorders of sex development are unbelievably unfortunate for a multitude of medical reasons, beyond being tokenized and weaponized through identity politics, that most cannot truly imagine. However, no one’s personal condition is ever a legitimate reason to disadvantage or endanger another demographic...that is certainly a road one should never want to go down.

But to ignore such disorders in order to adhere to traditionally physical sex ideals is fairly common practice in conservative and religious countries, and African nations have a history of scouting such male individuals for the purpose of sneaking in and dominating women’s sports. It also happens to explain why Khelif, a Muslim in a Muslim nation, was free from traditionally-mandated female attire and able to be so hands-on with his fellow male trainers.

And beyond that entire backwards reality, one must also genuinely ask why he never chose to appeal the International Boxing Association’s 2023 disqualification on being male, or why he refused to participate in subsequent female competitions that required testing for sex.

So he knew. He just counted on society not caring. And on that, he wagered well.

If you have ever thought that “this never happens,” you simply have not been paying attention whatsoever. Most people are still under the impression that Caster Semenya, Francine Niyonsaba, and Margaret Wambui are simply masculine women with higher testosterone and ignorant to the fact that these are just a few proven examples of male athletes with DSDs.

If you still think that “this doesn’t happen enough to matter,” be very ready to give an acceptable number of women who must lose out on all their years of work and effort for male desire.

If you think this is somehow still “offensive,” consider for once imagining how ridiculously offensive it is for the women, who have to not only unfairly face a man who everyone can recognize as one, but are expected (as women usually are) to take it with grace and a smile.

This is today’s gender misogyny in action. Concessions will be made to spare male feelings in the name of “inclusion,” ultimately and ironically excluding women from their very own opportunities. Chromosomes and anatomy (and human sight) are disregarded for false passport markers and old photos of a pink dress, because apparently that is the only acceptable (and desired) proof of what “woman” means. But this is the only possible outcome of a system riddled with both preference for male feelings and complacency for female safety and dignity.

Of course, many who put on misogynistic blinders then will now inevitably be miraculously blind to the harm they supported.

“Imane WHO?”

They’ll ask why this athlete is worth bringing up now, when not even two years ago it was clearly worth exposing their own intellectual and moral failings to get in the ring for a dude with eyeliner. Khelif’s unforgettable selfishness will get memory holed, along with their own unforgivable enablement in this feint of reality.

But this did happen, and it can never happen again. Imane is and was always exactly as his own name states. And now that everyone else can no longer pretend that they do not know, they will have to finally decide whether they believe men are indeed entitled to women’s earned opportunities, or if they are truly for women after all.
