Some restaurants sit on your “one day” list for years. You keep hearing great things, save hundreds of pictures on your socials, promise yourself you’ll make a reservation soon… For us, Arles in Amsterdam was exactly that kind of restaurant.

When we saw they were hosting a special collaboration with La Dilettante, we knew it was finally our time to book. From the moment we walked in, it was clear why people keep talking about this place. The space is intimate and cozy.

The evening centered around a beautifully five-course menu, paired with wines from La Dilettante. And what a combination it turned out to be.

Every course felt like its own little story. The dishes were creative, showcasing seasonal ingredients. This dinner absolutely delivered!

Of course, the wines deserve just as much credit. Rather than simply accompanying the dishes, each pairing elevated the flavours on the plate and brought something new to the dishes.

The relaxed atmosphere, great service, outstanding food and exceptional wine pairings created an experience that felt complete from beginning to end.

If Arles has been sitting on your list for a while, consider this your sign to stop waiting. For us, it was more than worth the wait and the collaboration with La Dilettante made the experience feel even more special. An ten out of ten evening!
