If you’re an author trying to make sense of marketing, launches, paid ads, shrinking advances, bigger expectations (the list goes on!), I’ve teamed up with Betsy Tobin – author and co-owner of Ink@84 Bookshop, to build something super practical just for you guys.

We’re launching Savvy Writers Pro, essentially a ‘business school for authors’ with a series of live, online workshops focused on the more savvy side of being an author.

You can probably tell from my articles here, over the past couple of years I’ve had dozens of conversations with frustrated writers who feel as if they’re operating with imperfect information in a perplexing industry. At the same time, the business side of writing has become louder (sooooo loud!), faster (soooo fast… but also slow sometimes?!) and even more demanding.

Betsy and I really feel access to clear, insider guidance very specifically aimed at published authors, or those about to embark on their publication journey, just isn’t really there.

So we’ll be kicking off our workshop programme with three sessions focused on the areas authors have told us in the Savvy Writers’ Snug group I run on Facebook that they need right now.
