As America celebrates its 250th birthday, there will be no shortage of stories about the battles fought, the documents signed, and the leaders who helped forge this nation. Those stories deserve to be remembered. But there is another thread woven through the American story that is too often forgotten: revival.

This Saturday, the Roots of Revival Tour returns to Rochester, New York, for the third time. That isn't by accident.

Over the past several months, we've journeyed across America, worshiping in places where God has moved powerfully throughout our nation's history. From the birthplace of America in Plymouth to Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Nashville, and beyond, we've been retracing the spiritual footsteps that helped shape this nation. We have watched thousands gather to worship, countless people respond to the Gospel, and believers baptized in places rich with America's spiritual heritage. Each stop has been building toward this moment.

Now we return to Rochester.

Few cities carry the revival legacy that Rochester does. When Charles Finney came here in 1830, a spiritual awakening swept through the city that became one of the defining revivals of the Second Great Awakening. Churches overflowed. Prayer meetings multiplied. Businesses adjusted their schedules so employees could attend services. Families were restored, and the effects of that revival spread far beyond western New York through missions, evangelism, education, and reform.

What makes this gathering even more meaningful is that we will be worshiping in the very heart of downtown Rochester, in the same public square where those historic revival meetings took place nearly two centuries ago. Standing in that place is more than a historical coincidence. It is a reminder that God has met people there before, and that the places where previous generations sought Him can still become places of prayer and worship today.

This will be our third gathering in Rochester, and each visit has felt like another layer being added to what God is doing in the city. We are not coming to recreate the past or manufacture another Finney revival. We are coming to honor God's faithfulness, proclaim Jesus publicly, and invite a new generation to seek Him with fresh hunger.

As America marks 250 years of history, perhaps there is no better time to remember that our nation's story has been shaped not only by founders and presidents, but also by ordinary believers who gathered in public places to pray, worship, and preach the Gospel.

The story of America is not finished. The God who moved in Rochester has not changed. And maybe one of the greatest ways to celebrate our nation's past is to ask God to awaken our generation once again.

That is why the Roots of Revival Tour is coming back to Rochester—for the third time.

Not simply to remember what God did, but to boldly declare that He is still able to move today.

Last month, two young pastors in New England (both in their twenties) told me they wouldn’t support or participate in our gatherings unless I first got on a Zoom call with them.

Normally, I don’t have time for conversations like this—especially while on family vacation in Montana—but I found an hour because I thought we’d be talking about how to reach New England together. I imagined we’d strategize about evangelism, Jesus Marches, baptisms, and seeing revival spread across the birthplace of the Great Awakenings.

Instead, they had one demand.

They wanted me to make a public statement condemning Bethel Church over doctrinal issues and scandals that I have no involvement with and no leadership over.

They made it clear that until I joined their campaign against a church I don’t attend or represent, their churches would not stand with us.

I respectfully declined.

I told them I’m focused on the assignment God has given me. I’m not called to chase every controversy or referee every dispute within the broader Church.

They insisted that unless I did what they asked, I shouldn’t expect church collaboration or blessing in New England.

I actually kinda laughed.

I’ve been ministering in New England since before either of them was born. I’ve watched God move there for decades. We’ve held the largest worship events since 2020 all across the region.

We’ve visited every state capitol in New England bringing worship, prayer, activism, communion, and altar calls. The Lord loves New England, and His willingness to pour out His Spirit isn’t dependent on me making a video attacking another church.

Sadly, neither of them showed up.

And they missed one of the most historic “Let Us Worship” gatherings of the year.

Thousands gathered.

Hundreds came to the altar to repent and give their lives to Jesus.

Dozens brought drugs, pills, and symbols of addiction, laying them down in surrender.

As the sun set over Plymouth, spontaneous baptisms broke out in the water.

It was a holy moment.

So why did they miss it?

Not because they lacked discernment.

Not because God wasn’t moving.

But because offense became their assignment.

When we become so consumed with policing everyone else’s ministry, we can become blind to what God is doing right in front of us.

There is a time to contend for truth. Scripture calls us to do that. But there is also a danger in allowing controversy to become our primary ministry. If we’re not careful, we can become so focused on fighting what we believe is wrong that we fail to rejoice in what God is clearly doing that is right.

Don’t let offense keep you from revival.

Six years ago, Nashville became ground zero for one of the greatest controversies of my life.

It was October 2020.

America was locked down. Churches were closed. Fear dominated the headlines.

Government leaders had deemed worship “nonessential,” while cities across America were burning with unrest.

So we did something radical.

We worshiped.

Thousands gathered with us in Nashville to lift up the name of Jesus. We sang. We prayed.

We refused to allow fear to silence the Church.

And the backlash was immediate.

Rolling Stone published a story with a headline that would follow me for years:

“Jesus Christ, Superspreader?”

The article was published October 12, 2020, amid intense public controversy over our outdoor worship gatherings.

The label “superspreader” quickly became a national accusation attached to our movement.

They meant it as an insult.

God had other plans.

We took the name they tried to use to shame us and made it our own.

If we were going to “spread” anything, we were going to spread hope.

We were going to spread faith.

We were going to spread the Gospel.

We were going to spread the name of Jesus.

The insult became a banner. The controversy became a documentary. And what critics hoped would silence a movement only poured gasoline on the fire.

Now, six years later, we are coming back to Nashville.But this time, we are gathering in one of the most sacred and historic rooms in America: The

Ryman Auditorium.

And the story of the Ryman makes this moment even more powerful.

Most people know the Ryman as the “Mother Church of Country Music.” They know the legends who have stood on its stage and the songs that have echoed through its famous wooden pews.

But before the Ryman became a music landmark, it was a house built for revival.

In 1885, wealthy Nashville riverboat captain and saloon owner Thomas Ryman attended a lively revival led by evangelist Sam Jones, intending to heckle the preacher.

Instead, the sermon deeply moved Ryman and changed the trajectory of his life. He dedicated his fortune to building a grand tabernacle for Nashville’s religious gatherings. The Union Gospel Tabernacle officially opened in May 1892. Following Thomas Ryman’s death in 1904, the building was renamed in his honor.

Think about that.

A skeptical saloon owner walked into a revival.

He encountered God.

His life was transformed.

And out of that encounter came one of the most iconic buildings in American history.

The Ryman wasn’t built because someone had a clever business strategy.

It wasn’t built because Nashville needed another entertainment venue.

It was built because one man encountered God at a revival.

Revival is literally in the foundation.

And this Sunday night, we are going back to the roots.

Before the Grand Ole Opry…

Before the country music legends…

Before the sold-out concerts…

There was revival.

There was preaching.

There was worship.

There was a man whose life was radically transformed by the power of God.That is why this Sunday night is about far more than another concert.

We are not coming to the Ryman to perform.

We are coming to worship.

We are coming to pray.

We are coming to take communion.

We are coming to seek the face of Jesus.

We are coming with the same desperate prayer that has carried us across America for the last six years:

God, do it again.

America doesn’t need another polished Christian event.

We don’t need another celebrity moment.

We don’t need more political theater.

We need an encounter with the living God.

The same God who met Thomas Ryman in a revival in 1885 is still transforming lives today.

The same Gospel that turned a skeptic into a builder of a tabernacle still has power.

The same Holy Spirit who has moved through every great awakening in American history is still moving.

And perhaps there is no more fitting place to cry out for revival than in a building that was born from one.

For me, this is deeply personal.

Six years ago, Nashville was the place where a national media firestorm erupted around our worship movement.

“SUPERSPREADER.”

That was the label.

But Genesis 50:20 says:

“You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good.”

Six years later, we are returning to Nashville.

Returning to a tabernacle built because of revival.

Returning to the Mother Church.

Returning to worship.

You couldn’t script this story.

Only God could.

The script has been flipped.

And this Sunday night, the Ryman will once again be filled with the sound it was originally built to carry:

The sound of people crying out to God.

The sound of worship.

The sound of prayer.

The sound of revival.

Revival at the Ryman.

It’s time to go back to the roots.

And it’s time for America to encounter God again

No matter how loudly people are shouting in your face, never mistake the chess pieces for the hands moving them.

I’ve had people shout in my face and attack our stage, try to unplug our amps and squirt superglue on our keyboards during a worship service, and even play kazoos to drown out the sound of our voices when we raised them in praise. They act like our enemies, but we know better. They are just pawns in a larger strategy being manipulated by dark spiritual forces trying to extinguish the light. If they knew better, they would do better.

There are numerous military terms for what spiritual war is like. A proxy war is when you attack an ally of your enemy or encourage one of your allies to attack one of their allies. A similar move is called a false flag operation. You put soldiers in the uniforms of an enemy’s ally and have them attack a neutral country unprovoked. This makes it look like your enemy is the aggressor and causes counterattacks and strife. You can sit back and reap the rewards of the deception.

Both are pretty good descriptions of what we are experiencing today. Darkness is manipulating the language of culture to attack the people of the light, and too many of us are falling for it. We’re caught in the difficult place of standing up for what is right and being labeled as haters for it. The reward for taking a stand for truth, righteousness, and justice is to be called a bigot, a homophobe or a nationalist. I have been personally labeled all these—and even worse! The rhetoric is toxic. The problem is that too often we are embracing the same tactics by shouting back. When we defend ourselves in anger, we can sound like the very people they are accusing us of being.

Once you scapegoat a person or group as “the problem in our nation today,” you’ve done half the devil’s work for him. You’ve already seeded discord and strife in your own heart. And you’ve brought the fight into the natural realm and out of the spiritual realm. That’s fighting in the wrong territory.

Godly warfare is not fought against people; it’s fought in the spiritual realm by embracing God’s promises and lifting them back up to Him in prayer. It’s fought by proclaiming the victory the cross has already won. It’s fought by showing we have a different Spirit—a Holy One—behind our actions and attitudes.

That’s the way Jesus fought. Jesus knew who He was and to whom He belonged. He knew who was in charge. He prayed and then did only what His Father showed Him to do. And by doing so, He cracked open a dark, legalistic world and let in the light of salvation.

I remember being in Afghanistan, behind Taliban lines in the mountains outside Kabul, with a missionary from India who became a great hero and mentor to me. I was the only American I saw the whole time I was there, and everyone seemed afraid for me. My Indian friend, though, was less concerned. “God called us to do this,” he told me, “so He will make a way, and He will protect us.” He seemed to have no fear. He continued, saying, “Sean, when you go to these places, you’re going to sense heaven celebrating, ‘Finally, someone has shown up here! We’ve been waiting so long for you to arrive!’” My friend knew who he belonged to and who had the real power.

Romans 8:19 tells us, “For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.” The earth is longing and groaning for the sons and daughters of God to show up and release the light of the gospel. In every village I went to in Afghanistan, I brought my guitar, and we worshipped, even though we were behind Taliban lines. There’s just something about hearing the call of God to go to a place and then showing up and bringing the kingdom. It’s like heaven applauds. I remember singing as the stars came out in the evening, filling the sky. It was as if I could hear the heavens proclaiming, “We’ve been waiting for you!” We were in a war zone, but in those moments I had no fear. The presence of God was greater. I’ve rarely felt so truly alive.

It’s not a matter of courage as much as perspective. You have to know who you are, who you belong to and who is calling the shots. It demands seeing things from a heavenly vantage point. We must “come up here”—come up now—and view things from God’s higher point of view.

We often think this happens only in the mission field, but every place can be like that if you get a spiritual perspective on it. It might be in your workplace, in your local coffee shop, on the street in front of your house, or at a park in the middle of your city. There are dark places all over where the earth is groaning, waiting for a son or daughter of God to lift up a song and a prayer and call heaven down into that place.

Real change begins in the place of prayer. As the sons and daughters of God, we’re called to come to the throne of heaven and lay down our concerns. We are called to be like the righteous kings of Israel and Judah and not let false gods build their temples all around us. We are to speak up for what is right and oppose that which is evil and exploitative. We’re called to bring the things that are wrong before the throne of God the Father—the true authority of the universe—for justice.

Moses was a powerful man of God, but he was also known for his meekness. He had this habit, when faced with adversity, of falling to his face in prayer. Other Bible prophets acted similarly. Just look for the phrase “fell on his face” in the Bible, and you will see it all over. The Book of Matthew even tells us that Jesus “fell with his face to the ground and prayed” before facing the cross (26:39).

Falling to one’s face is an act of surrender, of contrition—but surrender and contrition to what? To God. To His Word. To His promises. It’s an act of faith. It’s an acknowledgment of where the real power lies. It’s an act of saying, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” It’s an act of recognizing God as the highest authority and turning judgment over to Him.

Knowing Who We Are

All of this begins with knowing who we are. You can’t kneel nonviolently in prayer like this in the face of violent opposition unless you know to whom you belong—unless you know the battle is not yours but the Lord’s.

Identity has become a loaded term in recent times, but the question “Who am I?” is still one each of us must answer. The word identity comes from the French word identité, derived from the medieval Latin phrase identitatem, meaning “sameness.” In other words, we get who we are not from some internal mixture of gifts, talents and desires as much as by comparing ourselves with others and determining who we are the “same as” and who we differ from.

Psychologist René Girard calls this mimetic desire, meaning we mimic those we look up to by wanting the same things they have. This is how advertising works. They show you a cool, famous person with something, and you naturally want it too. We tend to desire the things of the people we want to be like, because down deep we think it will make us the “same as” them.

This happens without us consciously realizing it. If I asked you why you wanted something, you’d probably answer, “I like it. That’s just what I want.” We rarely realize that it’s because we want to be like [fill in the blank], who we think is cool and secretly want to be like. This is how peer pressure works as well. It’s hard to be the one voice in a group that believes or speaks differently. We want to look and sound like our favorite celebrities, movie characters and music artists. This is why the media is so powerful: Through its constant exposure and access to millions of minds, it shapes culture, and culture shapes human attitudes and actions.

Subversive indoctrination is all around us: from the subtle things that happen in schools to the violence of video games and to the radicalization of hate that can happen in online forums. Satan has had centuries of practice in how to manipulate culture and identities to his own ends. This is why we urge parents to pay attention to what their kids access through their screens. My wife and I are very intentional about this
with our four children. We must be the ones to set boundaries and guidelines. Parents need to talk with their kids about what they’re experiencing, how it’s affecting them, and how these things are designed to prey on their insecurities.

How many times do we need to hear a story about someone who was just a normal kid, and then suddenly, they went on a shooting spree after being radicalized online? It’s horrifying, and it’s happening every single day. Young adults are being groomed, targeted, and isolated while falling for dark conspiracies designed to manipulate, incite violence, and create mayhem.

Identity is usually considered to be who we are as individuals—how we stand out from others—but it begins with how we fit in with our friends and society as a whole. Every generation approaches it differently, and those differences tend to be obvious. We are formed by the interactions around us and the gifts, talents, and desires inside us. Our identity is formed between outside voices and the things God has placed inside us. It’s a crucible of sorts—with heat and pressure from both directions.

Jesus got His identity from His Father and did only what His Father showed Him to do. As He said it, “The Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does” (John 5:19). When Jesus was baptized before the beginning of His ministry, He heard His Father’s approval from heaven:

As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened,
and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from
heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
— Matthew 3:16–17

There were times when the disciples would wake up, and Jesus was nowhere to be found. Where was He? He was off spending time with His Father—time that was more important to Him than His ministry itself. Crowds would be looking for Him, hungry to hear Him speak, and He’d be off walking in the hills, conversing with His Father.

To put it simply, Jesus wanted to be like His Dad.

Forming our identities should follow the same pattern. The approval of the Father in our lives will shatter the performative cycles we create to feel known, seen and heard. We need approval from an authority figure and the love of our parents—particularly our fathers—because these things are crucial to fully understanding our worth.

According to the 2020 census, though, about 23 percent of children grow up without a father present, a percentage that has doubled since 1968 and continues to increase. So many fathers have left their families. So few are willing to stick around and work things out rather than choose the easy option of walking away. No wonder children feel abandoned today and get caught up in a cycle of striving for approval that’s unstable. Instead, we need the affirmation of a father and mother who are committed to each other. Without this kind of love as a foundation to who we are becoming, it’s far more difficult to build a happy, fulfilling life where we act in obedience to heaven rather than striving for the approval of fickle peers and a manipulative society.

Jesus’ ministry was initiated by the approval of His Father, which He received before He preached His first sermon or performed His first miracle. We need the same affirmation from our fathers and from our Father in heaven, who gives it freely to His sons and daughters through Jesus. Without a similar connection, we lose track of who we were created to be and try to “find” an identity that will make life meaningful and joyful.

We may give our lives to Jesus at a church service, but if we don’t continually feed our minds with biblical, truth-based material—reading the Bible itself is, of course, the best possible “soul food”—we can easily be overcome with what Jesus called “the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for
other things” (Mark 4:19). These things fill the worldly media we consume. The world doesn’t know—or even really care—who you are called to be or why God put you on the earth.

When we are unsure of who we are becoming and randomly snack on what the world feeds us through every new image we scroll past, we’re susceptible to being blown every which way by the winds of opinion around us. It’s evil’s play to keep us uncertain because then we never really accomplish anything of note. We’re just sleepwalking through life, swept along by the currents of this world. We become orphans trying to gain approval wherever we can find it, and that’s a dangerous game. There’s nothing solid to rely on. We grow discouraged, disconnected, disheartened, and disillusioned. We long for significance and to be loved and respected by others—to be truly seen—but instead it’s constantly implied that we don’t measure up, we’re less than we should be, and no one really cares anyway.

Let me make a prophetic statement over your life, right here, right now: It’s time to put down your phone and pick up your Bible.

Somewhere above the clouds, between where we have been and where we are going, it becomes easier to see things clearly.

History compresses. Priorities sharpen. And figures like St. Patrick stop feeling distant and start feeling uncomfortably relevant.

Patrick did not step into a receptive, spiritually curious culture. He walked into a world that did not know—or care to know—the message he carried. The Ireland he returned to was not waiting for him. It was resistant, unfamiliar, and in many ways indifferent. And yet, he went. Not because conditions were ideal, but because they weren’t.

That is precisely why his life speaks so powerfully to this moment.

We are living in what may be the most strategic era in history for the spread of the gospel. Global travel is routine. Barriers that once isolated entire regions have weakened. Information flows instantly. Entire populations that were once unreachable are now accessible in ways unimaginable even a generation ago.

And yet, the need remains staggering.

India stands as one of the clearest examples of this tension. It is a nation of immense complexity, beauty, and spiritual depth—and also home to some of the largest concentrations of people who have never meaningfully encountered the gospel. Thousands of distinct people groups live within its borders, many with their own languages, cultures, and identities. Among them are communities where the name of Jesus is not just misunderstood—it is unknown.

But this mission is not only about words—it is about light breaking into the darkest places.

Through our work with LIGHT A CANDLE, we have seen that light in its most tangible form. Over 1,300 children have been rescued from the brutality of the sex trade and from labor camps where exploitation had become their normal. These are not numbers to be cited and forgotten—they are lives restored, stories rewritten, and futures reclaimed from systems that thrive on silence.

And this week marks something even more profound.

As we travel, the Zion Center is being dedicated—a place born out of years of prayer, sacrifice, and relentless commitment. It stands not just as a building, but as a declaration: that the gospel is not distant, abstract, or theoretical. It is present. It is active. It restores dignity, heals trauma, and creates spaces where the most vulnerable are seen, protected, and given a new beginning.

Jesus spoke of times like these with striking clarity: “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars… Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” It is hard to look at the world today and not recognize those very patterns unfolding before us. And yet, in the same breath, He gave a promise that reframes everything: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations.”

This is what it looks like when the message Patrick carried takes on flesh again in our time.

What made Patrick remarkable was not just his courage, but his clarity. He understood that the gospel was not meant to remain within the boundaries of comfort, familiarity, or cultural similarity. It was meant to cross them.

That conviction feels especially urgent now.

For many, faith has become something private, contained, even cautious. But Patrick’s example disrupts that. He reminds us that the message he carried was never intended to stay where it was first received. It moves outward—often into places that feel inconvenient, uncomfortable, or even risky.

Sitting on a plane en route to India, that reality feels less theoretical.

There is a weight to knowing that you are heading toward places where the gospel has not yet taken root in a widespread way. Not because people are unwilling to believe, but because in many cases, they have simply never had the opportunity to hear. The responsibility is sobering. But it is also clarifying.

This is not about heroism. It never was.

Patrick was not fearless; he was obedient. He returned because he believed that the message he carried was not his to keep.

And in the same way, the work we are part of—whether rescuing children, building places like the Zion Center, or stepping into communities that have yet to hear—is not ours to own. It is ours to carry forward.

The question is not whether the need exists. It does. The question is whether we will respond with the same kind of conviction that sent Patrick back across the sea—into uncertainty, into resistance, into a mission that would shape history.

There is a tendency to assume that the great movements of faith belong to the past. That the age of pioneers is over. But the reality is the opposite. In many parts of the world, especially among unreached people groups, the work is just beginning.

If anything, this may be the greatest moment yet.

Not because it is easy. But because it is possible.

And somewhere between departure and arrival, between comfort and calling, that possibility becomes a decision.

It’s time to follow the lead of St. Patrick and take the gospel to the farthest corners of the world.

There are moments when Scripture and headlines seem to collide.

Last night was one of them.

At 3:33am on 3/3, I quietly woke up my three boys and pulled them outside to look up at the sky. There it was — the moon, deep red at its peak during the total lunar eclipse. A blood moon hanging over California in the stillness of the early morning.

While much of the world slept, heaven was putting on a display. They were completely enamored with the sky!

And at the very same time, war continues to intensify around Iran — the modern successor to ancient Persia — as the Jewish people celebrate Purim, the feast recorded in the Book of Esther.

For Bible-believing Christians who love Israel and take prophecy seriously, that convergence feels weighty.

But what should we make of it?

Purim: Deliverance from Persia

Purim commemorates the story in Esther when the Jewish people, living under the Persian Empire, faced annihilation through a decree orchestrated by Haman. Through fasting, courage, and God’s hidden providence, that decree was reversed.

What was meant for destruction became deliverance.

God’s name is never mentioned in Esther — yet His sovereignty is unmistakable. Purim is a yearly reminder that even when He seems silent, He is actively orchestrating redemption.

Today, Iran occupies the territory of ancient Persia. As threats against Israel rise again from that same region, the historical echo is sobering.

The same spirit of opposition.
The same covenant people.
The same delivering God.

The Blood Moon: A Heavenly Reminder

On 3/3, a total lunar eclipse turned the moon red.

Astronomically, it’s natural. Biblically, celestial signs have often marked pivotal seasons. Joel 2:31 speaks of the moon turning to blood before the Day of the Lord — a passage Peter later quoted in Acts 2.

Not every blood moon signals judgment. But Scripture does teach that the heavens declare His glory.

Standing there with my sons under that red moon, I wasn’t thinking about charts or timelines.

I was thinking about sovereignty.

About a God who sets the stars in place — and who moves the hearts of kings.

When a blood moon coincides with Purim — a feast celebrating deliverance from Persia — during modern conflict with Persia’s successor, it should not drive us to speculation.

It should drive us to prayer.

3:33 on 3/3 — Call to Me

At 3:33am on 3/3, as that eclipse reached its peak, I couldn’t help but think of Jeremiah 33:3:

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

Jeremiah spoke those words while Jerusalem was under siege. The nation was shaking. The future uncertain.

God’s instruction wasn’t fear. It wasn’t numerology.

It was prayer.

Call to Me.

That is the takeaway for the American Church.

Pray for Israel.
Pray for peace.
Pray for American service members.
Pray for the Iranian people — including the growing underground church.
Pray for awakening in our own nation.

Purim reminds us that decrees can be reversed.

The blood moon reminds us that God rules the heavens.

Jeremiah 33:3 reminds us that heaven responds when His people call.

The God who delivered His people in Persia still reigns — and He is still listening.

Tonight, you’ll hear the President of the United States deliver a State of the Union address—an update on how the nation is doing. You’ll hear about the economy, national security, foreign policy, and legislative agendas.

But far more important—and far more eternal—is the State of the Kingdom.

And right now, we are living in one of the most spiritually charged moments in modern American history.

Across America, church attendance is rising again. Sanctuaries that sat half-empty just a few years ago are filling up. Young people—especially Gen Z—are asking deeper questions about eternity, identity, and truth. They’re exhausted by shallow ideologies and digital noise. They’re searching for something ancient. Something rooted. Something eternal.

And they’re finding Jesus.

Bible sales have surged in a remarkable way. In an age dominated by AI, algorithms, and endless scrolling, Americans are buying Bibles again. Opening them. Highlighting them. Building their lives on them.

You can’t manufacture that kind of hunger.

Prayer gatherings are multiplying. Worship nights are overflowing. College campuses are seeing spontaneous baptisms. Athletes are declaring Christ boldly. Musicians are lifting His name without apology.

This is not hype.

This is awakening.

As America approaches her 250th birthday, we’re being reminded of something foundational: this nation was not sustained by power alone—but by prayer. Not by military strength—but by moral conviction. Not by comfort—but by dependence on Almighty God.

That’s why this summer we are launching the “Roots of Revival” tour—traveling to historic places of awakening across this nation—to remind America of her spiritual heritage. To stand where revival fires once burned. To tell the stories of repentance, prayer, and outpouring that shaped our history.

Because revival isn’t new to America. It’s in our DNA.

There is a renewed awareness rising across this land that politics cannot save us. Technology cannot redeem us. Wealth cannot satisfy us.

Only Jesus.

The State of the Kingdom is not measured by polls—it’s measured by repentance. It’s not measured by markets—it’s measured by altars. And right now, altars are being rebuilt across America.

Yes, darkness is loud.

Yes, opposition is real.

But hunger is rising faster than hostility.

And that hunger is going to gather.

So as we move toward this historic milestone in our nation—and as we carry revival history forward through the Roots of Revival tour—maybe the greatest celebration won’t just be fireworks in the sky…

But fire in the hearts of a generation returning to their first love.

The State of the Kingdom?

Alive.

Awakening.

Advancing.

And Jesus is still on the throne.

There is a church growing rapidly in one of the most unlikely places on earth—and you will never see its buildings, billboards, or worship services livestreamed online.

It is the underground church in Iran.

I have personally spent hours with these precious believers throughout the years, as many are so starved for teaching, discipleship, and encouragement that they frequently cross over the northern border with Iraq. I have worshiped with them, shared scripture together, and been marked by their zeal for the Lord.

While headlines often portray Iran only through the lenses of geopolitics, nuclear tensions, or unrest, a quieter and far more powerful story is unfolding beneath the surface: tens of thousands of Iranians are encountering Jesus Christ, often through dreams and visions, and choosing to follow Him at tremendous personal cost.

This is not Christianity as a cultural accessory. This is Christianity as a life-or-death decision.

A Church Forced Underground

In Iran, converting from Islam to Christianity is illegal and considered apostasy. House churches are raided. Pastors are imprisoned. Believers are interrogated, surveilled, and pressured to renounce their faith. Many lose their jobs, their families, and their freedom simply for confessing the name of Jesus.

And yet, the church is growing.

With no legal buildings, no public evangelism, and no religious freedom, Iranian believers gather quietly in homes, basements, and secluded spaces—often changing locations weekly to avoid detection. Bibles are shared digitally, passed hand to hand, memorized, and treasured. Worship is whispered. Prayer is constant.

The book of Acts suddenly feels very modern.

“But the word of God continued to spread and flourish.”

— Acts 12:24

Why the Gospel Is Spreading

Many Iranian Christians testify that they came to faith not through missionaries or public preaching, but through supernatural encounters. Jesus is appearing in dreams and visions. People who had never read a Bible are waking up with an unshakable conviction that He is real—and that He is calling them by name.

This should not surprise us.

When the gospel is restricted, the Holy Spirit is not.

“In the last days… I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”

— Joel 2:28

What is happening in Iran is not a Western export of Christianity—it is a sovereign move of God.

Many estimates now put the underground church in Iran to be well over 1 million strong!

The Cost of Following Jesus

For Iranian believers, baptism can mean imprisonment. A Bible can be treated as contraband. A prayer meeting can lead to years behind bars.

And yet they persist.

Why?

Because they have encountered a Jesus worth suffering for.

“For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him.”

— Philippians 1:29

The persecuted church reminds us of something the comfortable church can forget: the gospel is not safe—but it is worth everything.

Our Responsibility as the Global Church

Scripture does not allow us the luxury of ignorance or distance.

“Remember those in prison as if you were together with them, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.”

— Hebrews 13:3

We may not be able to gather with Iranian believers—but we can stand with them. We can learn their story. We can pray. And prayer is not passive. Prayer is participation.

When we pray for the persecuted church, we are joining a global, spiritual fellowship that transcends borders, languages, and walls.

How We Can Pray for the Church in Iran (7 points below)

Pray for boldness.

That believers would continue to proclaim Jesus with courage and wisdom, even under threat.

“Enable Your servants to speak Your word with great boldness.”

— Acts 4:29

Pray for protection.

Over house churches, leaders, evangelists, and new believers.

“You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble.”

— Psalm 32:7

Pray for endurance.

For those imprisoned or suffering not to lose heart.

“Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory.”

— 2 Corinthians 4:17

Pray for supernatural revelation.

That Jesus would continue to reveal Himself through dreams, visions, and miracles.

“The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

— Acts 2:47

Pray for wise leadership.

For underground pastors to be filled with discernment, humility, and the Spirit of God.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God.”

— James 1:5

Pray for a harvest beyond Iran.

That Iranian believers would one day carry the gospel throughout the Middle East and the nations.

“Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy.”

— Psalm 126:5

A Final Word

The underground church in Iran does not ask for our pity. They ask for our prayers.

They are not weak—they are courageous. Not defeated—but advancing. Not forgotten—deeply seen by God.

May their faith awaken ours.

And may we never take lightly the name they risk everything to proclaim:

Jesus Christ, the Light no darkness can extinguish.

Last night, I had one of the most vivid dreams I’ve had in a long time.

I was walking through the yard around my house with the Lord. As we walked, He began pointing out snakes—vipers that had been hidden beneath leaves, behind objects, in places I had passed by countless times without noticing. He showed me how to locate them and how to remove them.

Then something shifted.

My vision became crystal clear. I could suddenly see them everywhere—especially in the places my children play. The areas I had always assumed were safe were the very places danger had been quietly hiding.

What surprised me most was my emotional response.

I didn’t feel fear.

I felt gratitude.

Because now I could make the yard safe for my family.

Scripture tells us, “The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty” (Proverbs 22:3). Discernment is not panic—it is wisdom in action.

Discernment Is Not Fear—It’s Love

There is a subtle lie circulating in modern parenting that says vigilance equals paranoia, that boundaries are controlling, and that discernment is fear-based.

That lie is costly.

The Bible says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). Discernment flows from a sound mind anchored in love.

Scripture is clear about the nature of the enemy: “Be alert and of sober mind. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Snakes do not announce themselves. They hide. They wait. They blend in.

And many of the vipers threatening our children today do not look dangerous at first glance.

They appear on screens.

In video games.

Through music and media.

Through friendships and influences.

God warns us, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” (Proverbs 4:23). If we are called to guard hearts, we must pay attention to what is shaping them.

Our Assignment as Parents

The dream was not about panic—it was about partnership.

Jesus didn’t remove the snakes for me. He walked with me and showed me how to see them. He trained my eyes. Then He entrusted me with the responsibility to act.

This reflects God’s design for parenting: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).

Parents are watchmen in their homes. Scripture says, “If the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet… I will hold the watchman accountable” (Ezekiel 33:6). Silence and passivity are not neutral choices.

We are stewards. “It is required of stewards that they be found faithful” (1 Corinthians 4:2).

Seeing Clearly Requires Courage

When the Lord gives us eyes to see, we are accountable for what He reveals.

“To whom much is given, much will be required” (Luke 12:48).

Clear vision often demands hard conversations.

It may require removing access.

It may cost us approval for a season.

But Scripture reminds us, “Am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God?” (Galatians 1:10).

The goal is not to raise sheltered children, but rooted ones—children grounded so deeply in truth that deception is easy to recognize. “Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves… by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming” (Ephesians 4:14).

A Prayerful Invitation

The most hopeful part of the dream was this: Jesus was eager to show me. He was not withholding insight. He was waiting for permission.

God promises, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach” (James 1:5).

Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice” (John 10:27). He still speaks. He still warns. He still protects.

This is not about fear.

It is about faithfulness.

Prayer Points for Parents

1. A Prayer for Eyes to See

“Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your law” (Psalm 119:18).

Lord, reveal what has been hidden. Expose anything in my home that does not honor You.

2. A Prayer for Courage to Act

“Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

Jesus, help me choose obedience over comfort.

3. A Prayer for Wisdom in Boundaries

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12).

Holy Spirit, show me where boundaries are needed and how to enforce them with love.

4. A Prayer for My Children’s Hearts

“The Lord bless you and keep you” (Numbers 6:24).

God, guard my children’s hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

5. A Prayer for My Own Integrity

“Search me, O God, and know my heart… and lead me in the way everlasting” (Psalm 139:23–24).

Remove any compromise in me that dulls my discernment.

6. A Prayer for Partnership with Heaven

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1).

Jesus, walk with me. Teach me to steward my home according to Your will.

Ladies and gentlemen, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ—

In 2025, as we gather here in freedom, I want to turn our hearts and attention to a sobering truth: there are more Christians facing persecution around the world today than at any other time in modern history. For millions of believers, faith in Jesus is not a weekend routine or a spiritual preference—it is a daily risk. It is a costly, courageous stand that they choose to take, even when everything around them warns them not to.

Across the Middle East and North Africa, Christians are beaten, imprisoned, and driven from their homes. In parts of Asia, believers gather quietly in home churches, knowing a knock on the door could mean arrest—or worse. In nations where Christianity is considered a threat to the government or culture, pastors disappear overnight. Bibles are confiscated. Churches are burned. Families are torn apart.

Some are targeted by extremist groups. Others by their own communities. Many by their own governments. Yet the pattern is the same: the world’s most vulnerable Christians stand firmly for Christ, even when the cost is everything.

And as Americans—people who worship freely, speak freely, and gather freely—we must ask ourselves: What is our responsibility? Why does their suffering matter to us? And what are we called to do in response?

Let me give you three truths—three convictions—that make it absolutely necessary that we stand with the persecuted church in 2025:

1. We stand with them because Scripture commands it.

The Bible does not give us the option of indifference. Hebrews 13:3 says, “Remember those in prison as if you were there with them…” Not as outsiders looking in. Not as people observing from a distance. As if we were in the cell beside them.

When Paul was in chains, the early church prayed earnestly. They didn’t scroll past his letters. They didn’t turn their heads. They interceded. They wept. They acted.

In 2025, the persecuted church is not an abstract idea. These are our brothers and sisters. Our family. The body of Christ is one body—and when one part suffers, we are called to feel it.

2. We stand with them because their faith honors Jesus.

I believe persecuted believers carry a kind of faith that purifies and awakens the global church. They remind us what following Jesus truly means. Their worship has no production, no stage lights, no social media applause. It’s raw. It’s costly. It’s pure.

When believers in underground churches whisper their praises to avoid detection…
When teenagers are expelled for accepting Christ…
When mothers are disowned for their baptism…
When pastors choose prison over silence…

That kind of faith calls to us. It stirs us. It challenges the comfortable Christianity of the West. It lifts our eyes back to Jesus—the One who suffered first, and who never promised us a faith without cost.

3. We stand with them because our voices in America matter more than we think.

We live in a nation where speech is free, advocacy is possible, and faith is still public. We may disagree on politics, but on this—we must be united.

In America, our prayers, our platforms, our influence, and our freedoms can open doors that persecuted believers cannot open for themselves. We can pressure governments to release prisoners. We can support ministries that smuggle Bibles and rescue families. We can tell stories that otherwise would never be heard. We can push back against silence and apathy.

If we don’t speak—who will?

If we don’t pray—who will?

If the most free Christians in the world remain quiet, what hope do the most persecuted Christians have?

So what must we do—right now, in 2025?

First, we must pray—not as a last resort, but as a first response. Prayer reaches prison cells. Prayer strengthens wavering hearts. Prayer breaks spiritual strongholds that no government can.

Second, we must amplify their stories. Share them. Teach them. Preach them. Let our churches, our families, and our social platforms carry their voices.

Third, we must advocate. Support organizations doing the work on the ground. Write to legislators. Show up. Push for accountability. Use your influence—whether big or small—to defend those who cannot defend themselves.

And finally, we must live with the same boldness they have. If believers in hostile nations can follow Jesus with courage, surely we can follow Him without compromise right here at home.

Friends—this is not the hour for comfort. This is the hour for conviction.

The persecuted church is not asking us for pity. They are asking us for partnership. They are not asking for our fear—they are asking for our faith. They are not asking us to feel guilty for our freedoms—they are asking us to use them.

So in 2025, may we be a people who stand with the persecuted.
Who pray with passion.
Who advocate with courage.
Who speak up, show up, and lift up those who cannot lift themselves.

Because the world may try to silence them—but we will not.
The darkness may try to crush them—but the light of Christ in them is unshakeable.
And as long as we have breath in our lungs and freedom in our nation, we will stand with the persecuted church—until every believer, in every nation, can worship Jesus freely.

There are dark spiritual forces at work seeking to destroy America from the inside out. We’re watching it unfold in real time.

But I refuse to let my four kids inherit a nation that rejects its rich heritage of revival and turns its back on God.

This is what compels me to launch the “Roots of Revival” Tour in 2026.

The work ahead is massive.

The resources required are significant.

The energy demanded will stretch all of us.

But America is a nation in crisis. Our problems are not merely political or economic—they are deeply spiritual.

And the only hope for America to survive beyond her 250th birthday is to return to the roots of revival.

There is no other solution.

My prayer is that you’ll join us on this pilgrimage—a journey back to what made America truly great in the first place: our trust and dependency on God alone.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance.” Psalm 33:12

We are at a critical moment. The conservative right—the loudest and last defenders of Israel—is fragmenting and devolving into contentious infighting. Division over whether to support Israel is crippling the movement and pushing conservatism into dangerous waters—waters unprotected by the favor of God, which He promises to those who bless Israel.

Just as Israel’s war against Hamas has wrapped up, a new front has opened. And the main combatants are right-wing thought leaders and podcasters.

This new attack Israel faces is much more dangerous than any attack from Hamas. There is a perceivable dark shift in the conversation about Israel. We have come to expect antisemitism from the godless left. But Republicans who put “God, Family, Country” on coffee cups, bumper stickers, and t-shirts are turning on Israel. Why?

It’s because we live in a Biblically illiterate time, with self-professing Christians detached from the Truth of Scripture.

We as Believers must stand up and stand against the Satanic attacks against Israel—and that is exactly what they are. Satan hates God and all who are His, both old covenant and new.

So how should America’s foreign policy relate to Israel? It depends on who you ask and when you ask them. A wide swath of conservative thought leaders have held multiple positions on Israel, as they do on most political issues. I will continue to hold firm to the Truth of the Scripture for how we understand and love Israel.

And the most critical are the most Biblically illiterate. I refuse to let Believers be pied-pipered away by the seductive voice of antisemitism.

Until recently, mainstream criticism was confined to mild, mostly economic grievances. But this new rightward lurch against Israel is something new. Now, we are watching individuals with bitter hatred for Israel elevated to platforms of unprecedented reach here in America. To those not tethered to Biblical Truth, the smooth, sweet rhetoric that is being preached on podcast pulpits across America will ensnare and mislead.

The relationship between the American government and the Israeli government should not trump our individual hearts toward the nation of Israel. We are held accountable for our thoughts and actions, and what is important to God should be important to the Believer.

So as the conversation on the right has shifted from how to support Israel to how to cut off Israel, we must return to Scripture and answer the question: Why support Israel?

Let’s begin with the foundational passage—the Abrahamic Covenant. This is the go-to passage of Scripture that folks cite in support of Israel, but it’s just the beginning, not the end.

Genesis 12:1-3, “The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

I will make you into a great nation,

and I will bless you;

I will make your name great,

and you will be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you,

and whoever curses you I will curse;

and all peoples on earth

will be blessed through you.”

God chose Abraham. God could have chosen a different man to start the path to the redemption of humanity, but He didn’t.

Through the line of Abraham comes Jesus, and through Jesus, salvation is made available to all who put their trust in Him. Jesus is the blessing by which all peoples are blessed. In fact, confirming the genealogy of Jesus makes up the entire first chapter of the New Testament. Read Matthew 1 for all forty-two generations from Abraham to Jesus. The second part of the Abrahamic covenant is fulfilled through Jesus, and the first is still unfolding.

In the ancient days of the Old Testament, Israel was a great nation. But that nation was scattered because of their disobedience to God. 2 Kings 17 lays it out: “In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria, and he carried the Israelites away to Assyria and placed them in Halah, and on the Habor, the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.

And this occurred because the people of Israel had sinned against the Lord their God, who had brought them up out of the land of Egypt from under the hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and had feared other gods and walked in the customs of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel and in the customs that the kings of Israel had practiced….

The people of Israel walked in all the sins that Jeroboam did. They did not depart from them until the Lord removed Israel out of his sight, as he had spoken by all his servants the prophets. So Israel was exiled from their own land to Assyria until this day.

The final line, “until this day,” points to another Old Testament prophecy now fulfilled—Israel’s return to its land. Jeremiah foretold it, who writes in chapter 33, “Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security. I will bring Judah and Israel back from captivity and will rebuild them as they were before. I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against me. Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise, and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it.”

The entirety of that prophecy has not yet come to pass. While Judah and Israel have been brought back from captivity, Israel has not yet been cleansed from the sins of rebellion against God. To ignore the sins of Israel—past or present—would be to ignore Scripture itself. We must recognize and respond.

So how then are we to respond? David gives a suggestion in Psalm 122:

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

“May those who love you be secure.

May there be peace within your walls

and security within your citadels.”

And as Believers, our mindset should be - Kingdom first. Jesus has given clear commands, and if we are led astray by people who come in Christian clothes, but we get too preoccupied with what is going on across the world, we may miss the opportunity He has placed right in front of us.

That command is simple, Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We are freed from the pressure of making new Believers—that is the work of God through the Holy Spirit. Our task is to make disciples.

My final message is this: God is a covenant keeper. Deuteronomy 7:9 says: “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.” So tread lightly and live thoughtfully.

Let us walk in power and wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit, not being deceived by the schemes of the enemy. We must be a people so familiar with the Word of God that when we hear it misquoted or misinterpreted, we can stand firm.

Our generation has never witnessed anything like this: the public martyrdom of a Christian leader for boldly sharing his faith. That’s what makes Charlie Kirk’s death so different, and why it has shaken people around the world.

Had he died in a tragic accident, we would still grieve deeply. But the fact that Charlie’s murder unfolded before our eyes, in clips that flooded our feeds, forced us to confront the reality of modern-day martyrdom. It shocked us because it reminded us that faith isn’t casual or comfortable - it is costly.

And yet, that cost is already bearing fruit. All across America, churches are filling again. People who haven’t darkened a church door in decades are returning. Why? The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church.

That phrase was penned in 197 AD by the early Christian writer Tertullian at a time when the Church was growing at the cost of the blood of believers. Today is no different.

Attempts to silence Charlie have only amplified his message. What he said and how he lived are reaching more people than ever. Vigils are springing up worldwide, and true to Charlie’s legacy, they are marked by prayer and praise, not the violence and destruction we’ve witnessed from protests in the last few years.

Like Stephen in the book of Acts, he stood unflinching in the face of opposition. And like Stephen, his death is igniting courage in the Church. Martyrdom doesn’t extinguish the gospel. It multiplies it.

And countless believers are wrestling with the same question: Am I willing to give my life for my faith?

I’ve been asked if I’m afraid. After all, I lead public worship events that often draw fierce opposition. But fear cannot silence the call of God. Charlie knew that. I know that.

It feels prophetic that Charlie’s life work was named Turning Point USA. His death truly feels like a turning point for our nation.

And now, this moment is calling all of us to the same decision: Will we shrink back in fear, or will we stand in boldness and courage? There is no other choice.

They don’t know who they are. The enemy has launched a direct assault on their sense of identity, because if he can destroy their identity, he can hijack their destiny.

But here’s the good news: Gen Z is not lost.

1 Corinthians 14:33 says, “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.” God does not like disorder or anxiety, and he does not make mistakes. Each person is fearfully and wonderfully made. And the enemy hates that.

But what the enemy meant for harm, God is turning around for His glory. I’ve seen it firsthand.

Altars flooded with young people crying out for freedom. The presence of the Holy Spirit reversing years of indoctrination and pain.

We have prayed for revival among the next generation—and it is happening.

The great revivalist Arthur Wallis once wrote: “If you would do the best with your life, find out what God is doing in your generation and throw yourself wholly into it.” That’s the call to us right now.

God is moving powerfully among Gen Z. We’ve prayed for a generation to rise up, reject the lies of culture, and run after Jesus—and those prayers are being answered before our eyes.

I have watched young and old, side by side, flooding altars in surrender to Christ.

To see Gen Z sold out for Jesus strikes a blow to the lie that America’s young people are a lost cause. Far from it—this generation could very well lead us into a Third Great Awakening.

In fact, it’s already stirring. Reports from across the country confirm a deep hunger for truth and a passion for revival.

We’re believing for another outbreak of the Spirit of God, where students surrender their lives and entire communities are transformed.

The enemy may have tried to confuse Gen Z’s identity and poison their destiny, but God is flipping the script. He is writing a different story—one of freedom, restoration, and revival.

God is not finished with this generation. And He’s not finished with America. What we are seeing right now may be the very beginning of a Third Great Awakening. The revival train is moving, and Gen Z is at the front of it.

This week, The Atlantic launched a hit piece attacking me as a “Christian Nationalist.” They aren’t the first, and they won’t be the last.

In an ironic twist that I’m sure is lost on the author, the article reads like high praise for the effectiveness of our efforts. “Given his rallies and political connections, Feucht is ‘maybe the most effective evangelical figure on the far right,’” said Matthew D. Taylor, a senior Christian scholar at the Institute for Islamic, Christian, and Jewish Studies.

Here’s another excerpt: “After rising to prominence during the early days of the coronavirus pandemic by throwing Christian rock concerts in violation of lockdown orders, Feucht has built a massive audience of devotees. His constant stream of worship events across the country makes Christian nationalism more accessible for the religious masses, as does his prolific social media presence (he has half a million followers between Instagram and X).”

They think pointing out that we violated lockdowns to worship—or that we host a constant stream of worship events—is some kind of attack. But it couldn’t be further from the truth.

Then there’s this: “Under pressure from parents and lawmakers, schools have banned lesson plans and library books related to LGBTQ themes. Feucht is not single-handedly responsible for these wins for Christian nationalists, but his influence is undeniable.”

The media is blind to the desires of the American people. We’ve seen how far a secular government can sink this great nation. But people are waking up, turning their hearts to Jesus, and demanding that their lawmakers legislate based on truth.

So why, after all these years, are they still coming after me?

Last year, I published an article titled, “Defining ‘Christian Nationalism.’” In it, I explained why so many Americans have been demonized with that label. The people who scream “Christian Nationalist!” the loudest are often the same ones who hate Christians—and hate nationalism.

Worse, they try to preach to us about how Christians should behave without ever reading the Bible, which clearly lays out how we’re called to live.

I believe the reason I’ve drawn so much disdain from the media is because I’m vocal about the rights I was endowed with by my Creator. All rights come from God—not the government.

So when the government of California declared that the right to sing in church was revoked, I refused to accept it.

And when governments across the country told Let Us Worship we couldn’t peacefully gather, we refused to accept that too. We took our lead from the Apostle Paul.

Paul is the perfect example for believers in how to deal with government overreach. In Acts 9, God calls Paul “a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”

Later, in Acts 16, Paul was unjustly imprisoned. When the authorities tried to quietly release him, the jailer said, “The magistrates have ordered that you and Silas be released. Now you can leave. Go in peace.”

Translation? Go quietly.

How did Paul respond? By obediently submitting to the government officials who violated his rights?

Not Paul.

The very next verse says, “But Paul said to the officers: ‘They beat us publicly without a trial, even though we are Roman citizens, and threw us into prison. And now do they want to get rid of us quietly? No! Let them come themselves and escort us out.’” (Acts 16:37)

Paul knew his place in the Kingdom of God—and he knew his rights as a Roman citizen. Following Jesus does not mean surrendering the constitutional rights that come from God in the first place.

And the response of the jailers? It mirrors how the government, media, and elite establishment respond to us now—with fear and trembling. “The officers reported this to the magistrates, and when they heard that Paul and Silas were Roman citizens, they were alarmed.” (Acts 16:38)

It’s no surprise that the governments and cities where we’ve faced the most persecution are also among the most dangerous, poorly run, and broken. And it’s the failing media outlets—closest to bankruptcy and irrelevance—that have attacked us most viciously.

So we know how Paul responded when his rights were violated. Now what? How are we to interact with our government?

We turn once again to Paul in 1 Timothy 2: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

We must pray for our leaders—Democrat and Republican alike—so that we can live out God’s calling on our lives in godliness and holiness.

And perhaps the most ironic twist is this— the more we’ve been attacked for holding revivals across America, the more doors that have opened. We’ve been attacked by mayors, then welcomed by governors. We’ve been attacked by the media, but welcomed into the White House. We’ve been kicked out of the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, but welcomed to balcony of the Speaker of the House.

And tomorrow, we have a very special album releasing titled, Worship From The White House. This album was recorded in the White House, at the U.S. Capitol, and at Mar-a-Lago.

It’s a sound for this season, and an embodiment of God’s favor and faithfulness. I hope it encourages you and uplifts you for this season!

A wise man once told me, “If you live by the praises of men, you’ll die by their criticism.”

Here are a few of many thousands of criticisms that have come my way over the last several years. Yes, these are all real and seemingly ALL of them DEMANDED my immediate response to validate my actions, calling and ministry.

“You’re a Christian Nationalist. You serve the empire of America and not the Kingdom.”

“If you truly loved God’s heart for America, you would stop spending so much time, resources and energy in other countries instead of your own.”

“You only rescue kids in India because of your white savior complex!”

“Why do more big events? Why not feed starving children for a change?”

“You are a workaholic man. Take a break sometime or you’ll burn out!”

“All I see you do is hunt and go to sports games. Do you ever even do ministry?”

“You are a misogynist. You don’t ever empower your own wife for ministry!”

“You hire way too many women for important roles within your ministry. You need to let men take those jobs.”

“Don’t bring your faith into politics.”

“You need to stand up and condemn evil politicians more if you truly follow Jesus!”

“Jesus would love his neighbor by wearing a mask and staying inside!”

“If you truly have the calling to bring the Kingdom, then come to our town next week to stand against our evil mayor!”

“Racist much? All I see is white people everywhere.”

“Does your ministry believe in DEI? It sure looks like it from watching many of your events.”

“What a waste of money to bring your family on ministry trips!”

“Dude, you are gone way too much from your family. That can’t be healthy.”

“I heard you donate all your song royalties. That’s YOUR intellectual property for YOUR family's inheritance!”

“You preach prosperity gospel because you have real estate investments.”

(They missed the part where I co-owned a real estate company right out of college😆)

“You’re a NAR heretic (whatever that is) because you speak in tongues, believe in miracles, signs and wonders.”

“How could you ever do ministry with _____? They are full blown heretics, and that makes you a heretic!”

“Why don’t you do more ministry with _____? You need some of that anointing.”

“Stop being so religious and testing everything! Just go with the flow for once and let God do His thing!”

“Can you just get some decent clothes and cut your hair?”

“You are so materialistic with your shoes and clothes. Jesus would not approve.”

“If you don't speak out about ____ and their moral failings, then you stand with the abusers and God will judge you!”

“Why do you always go minister at big churches?”

“Why would you waste your time going to that small church with _____? Don’t cast your pearls before swine!”

If you truly want to follow Jesus and the call He has for your life, you will be misunderstood by many. Jesus lived this reality and died by it.

People will question your motives, your decision-making and even your integrity in the process.

If they did it to the Son of God, what makes you think they wont do it to you?

All of the Hebrew hall-of-famers were misunderstood: Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sara, Joseph, Moses, Rahab, Gideon, Samson and David. They refused to disengage and stayed focused on the prize in front of them.

The question is not if you will be misunderstood or slandered. The question is what will you do when that day comes?

Do you feel the need to vindicate and defend yourself to every random keyboard warrior on the interweb across the world?

If I wasted my time doing that every day, week, month and year, then I would literally get nothing done in this life.

And that my friends is the ultimate ploy of the enemy, and I see it taking out amazing believers every single day.

Satan knows you are called. He knows you are anointed for such a time as this to accomplish a specific task on the earth that no one else can accomplish. He cannot stop the calling, but he can thwart it by filling your life with constant chaos and confusion, and placing you in a posture where you are always on the defense.

But the Kingdom knows no retreat and knows no hesitation, it only knows ADVANCING. It requires that you kill the need to liked, loved and adored by the world. It demands your ultimate allegiance to the King.

At the end of your days, you will not face the social media mob peppering you with endless questions. You will face the ONE who created, formed and called you by name.

Carry your cross. Reject the constant desire for man's affirmation. Embrace the calling of being misunderstood.

Choose wisely. Follow Jesus. Fear the Lord above everything else.

Your life and calling depend on it.

The loss of trust in the mainstream media is well-founded and well-deserved. For far too long, the media has positioned itself as the gatekeeper of information. They decide what stories the people need to know and what stories shouldn’t be seen.

Look no further than two stories from last week, and see if you can spot the difference. Both involve singers, and both involve politics, but they were covered very differently.

Last week, I was invited to join HUD Secretary Scott Turner to survey the damage from January’s California wildfires and to take part in the conversation about rebuilding Los Angeles.

Why did I get the invitation? Because when the wildfires were raging, Let Us Worship put out the call, and believers from across the country flooded into Los Angeles with supplies and donations. Let Us Worship held multiple worship revivals, distributed aid, and prayed for victims and first responders — and people took notice.

They realized there was something different about us — and it’s the Holy Spirit. So when officials went to survey and strategize, Let Us Worship was invited to pray and lead a time of worship too. Amazing, right?

But on Friday, MSNBC published a long hit piece titled, “Christian extremist joins Trump’s HUD secretary to survey L.A. wildfire damage.” I was attacked as a “Christian extremist” and “Christian nationalist,” and they disparaged the great work we’ve done in aiding wildfire victims. The article was personal, hateful, and — sadly — not surprising.

Contrast that with another story that came to light today. A transgender rock singer performing at a Bernie Sanders rally spewed some of the most vile, disgusting, anti-Christian rhetoric imaginable. And did MSNBC feel the need to inform their audience about this story? Absolutely not.

We shouldn’t be surprised when the world hates us. When these kinds of stories come out, I’m reminded of John 15:

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”

So I’ll keep on praising and worshiping and serving those whom God puts before me. And I’ll take the hate — because I serve the One who was hated before me.

This weekend, we will hold our first REVIVE IN 25 Tour stop in New Orleans! New Orleans is a city that has seen great tragedies, but despite this, an undercurrent of great faith flows like the mighty Mississippi! We’ve held revivals in New Orleans in the past and seen the Holy Spirit MOVE!

On Saturday, February 8th, we’re praising, worshiping, and praying for the Lord to heal and restore the city of New Orleans. We’ll be joined by local pastors and believers from the Crescent City who are desperate to see the presence of God rest on New Orleans. It will be a POWERFUL TIME, and there’s no better place to kick off the REVIVE IN 25Tour. Preceding the revival, we will hold a Jesus March in the French Quarter!

As we gather to seek spiritual renewal, we must also confront the challenges that threaten our community. The upcoming Super Bowl on February 9th is expected to draw over 120,000 visitors to New Orleans. But while the Super Bowl will bring flashing lights, a seedy darkness will be lingering. Massive events like the Super Bowl are hotspots for depravity, exploiting the vulnerable in our society through human trafficking. We, as the Church, are bringing LIGHT into the darkness, just as Matthew 5:14-16 declares:

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Many requests were rolling in for us to host a #LetUsWorship in that city (during lockdown). I prayed about it with my team and we all heard clearly that God was calling us to do this.

As I explained the vision to the leaders/friends of that church, they requested that I get approval from the city, health and police officials before I proceed with an outdoor worship gathering open to anyone in the community.

Although we had just hosted massive events like this in LA, NYC, Seattle and Portland without any of this protocol and I was biblically and legally in right standing to do this, my desire to honor and please the leaders of the church resulted in my going through the gauntlet of endless bureaucracy by many of those who deeply despised the church.

I had never done this before and have definitely never done this since.

It was weeks of endless phone calls, explanations and promises that we would have masks and sanitizer available for those who wanted it. All of this was my desire to please man while I knew that I already had a green light from God to proceed.

Well, that night over 3000 gathered, hundreds came forward to receive salvation, baptism, healing and HOPE was injected into a community beat down with fear and chaos from the lockdowns.

Even though I tried my hardest to honor the church and adhere to the mayor, city officials and leaders, none of procedures we had in place were enough for them.

They came out against me, my team and my family, slandered us in the press, media and follow up city council meetings.

THE PUSHBACK WAS ALL BECAUSE WE WANTED TO WORSHIP GOD OUTSIDE IN AMERICA. Almost inconceivable to think of these days.

This caused unbelievable sadness, disappointment and confusion for my team and family.

When it all started to hit the fan, I asked the Lord how there could be so much damage done out of something so beautiful…that night was HEAVENLY!

He responded “I never told you to ask anyone to do this. I just told you to do it.”

Moral of the story: NEVER LET THE FEAR OF MAN (OR THEIR APPROVAL) HOLD YOU BACK FROM BEING OBEDIENT TO GOD.

Let’s ditch the fear of man in 2025 and return to the FEAR OF THE LORD.

20 Remember your covenant promises,

for the land is full of darkness and violence!

21 Don’t let the downtrodden be humiliated again.

Instead, let the poor and needy praise your name.

22 Arise, O God, and defend your cause.

Remember how these fools insult you all day long.

I talk to people all the time, Believers and nonbelievers alike, and I am disturbed that a common thread runs between both groups—they feel anxious, distressed and downtrodden. 

America in 2024 IS downtrodden. The economy is slow, despite what the White House and mainstream media say. Interest rates are high, everyday goods are expensive, and a whole mess of cultural rot is forced upon us and our children. 

What can we do? Should we stay downtrodden? No way! We must fight back through the power of the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity but of power, love, and self-discipline." 

I read a disturbing statistic this week that voter turnout is projected to be under 50%, the lowest turnout since 2012. But it doesn't have to be this way. 

Back in March, I wrote this, "We as Believers hold incredible potential to shape our nation. Our founding fathers didn’t shy away from being guided by the wisdom of the scriptures. Think about this— according to Pew Research, in 2021, self-identified Christians made up 63% of the U.S. population (210 million). In total, 155 million votes were cast in the 2020 presidential election." 

What could turn out if every eligible Christian registered to vote and showed up at the polls? We could reshape our nation. 

We need not be downtrodden. We need to be hopeful, joyful, and engaged! Believers, don't just show up on election day and vote. Let's do the work NOW - make sure your friends are registered, remind your family to vote, and bring a neighbor to the polls. Whatever it takes, we have to do it. 

The people who persecuted Christians during the lockdowns, the people pushing the trans agenda on our children, and the people who are trying to write God out of America's history are doing all that and more! The stakes couldn't be higher, and we as Believers hold the power!

That leads me to what we're doing about it. Back in 2022, we started praying and laying the groundwork for the Kingdom to the Capitol Tour. We had a feeling our country would continue to be in chaos, but we couldn't have imagined just how far declined the state of our country would be. 

We knew that Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, and Arizona would be hotly contested battleground states. That's why we scheduled those so close to the election. The more contentious the state, the more necessary the power of the Gospel is needed. 

The grand finale of the Kingdom to the Capitol Tour will be on October 26th, just days before election day, and will be held on the National Mall in Washington D.C. We want to sing and pray over the heart of our government and intercede for God to have mercy and call America back to Him. 

The Kingdom to the Capitol Tour has been a powerful move of God and a great encouragement to see Believers from every corner of America come out and pray for a move of God in their own states and our nation as a whole. I know God has big things in store for the last month of the tour as well.
