just watched Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and it made me think about how strange it is to keep living after someone leaves. Not because the movie was about that exactly, but because sometimes a story reminds you of something you have been avoiding in your own life. You can lose someone and still wake up the next morning. The sun still comes out, people still go to work, trains still arrive, and somehow the worlds expects you to act normal. I think that’s what makes losing people so difficult, nothing around you changes enough to match what has changed inside you.

We’re never really prepared for the last time. We don’t know when we’re having our last conversation with someone, when we’re seeing them for the las time, or when a person we see every day will eventually become someone we only remember. Most goodbyes don’t feel like goodbyes, they look like ordinary moments. That’s why we keep going back to them later, trying to find the exact point where everything changed,

Sometimes people leave loudly, sometimes they disappear so slowly that you only notice when there is nothing left to hold onto. A friendship becomes less frequent, a family member moves somewhere far away, someone you loved becomes stranger. Nobody necessarily did anything wrong. Life just kept living, and somehow you ended up on different sides of it.

I think we make leaving harder because we believe every person has to be replaced. When someone leaves, we immediately look for something to fill the space, but some spaces aren’t meant to be filled. They’re supposed to remind you that someone was once there, you don’t need to put another person in the same place just to prove that you’re okay. Some absences are allowed t remain absences.

When someone leaves, you don’t only miss them. Sometimes you miss who you were when they were around or you miss the version of your life that existed with them. That’s something you can’t recreate, because time doesn’t work like that. You can meet someone new, make new memories, build a different life, but you can’t go back and make the old one happen again.

That’s why I think growing up feels so strange. You slowly become a stranger to your own past, the things you once thought would last forever eventually become memories you don’t think about every day anymore, people you one couldn’t imagine losing become names you can say without feeling like the ground move underneath you. And one day you realize that you haven’t thought about them in a weeks.. You didn’t decide to forget them, you just got busy living.

I don’t think moving on means you stop missing people, sometimes you still do. You just stop making your life wait for them. That’s the difference. You can miss someone and still go home, you can remember someone and still make new plans, you can love what they meant to you without needing them to come back. And that’s more than enough, because people leave.

Some stay for years, some for months, some for only a small part of your life. But the length of someone’s stay doesn’t decide how much they mattered, a person can be in your life for one season and still change the way you see everything after they are gone.

The hard part is accepting that you won’t always get an explanation, you won’t always know why someone left. Sometimes there is no final conversation that makes everything make sense. You can spend years looking for a reason, but eventually you have to accept that some doors close without giving you a satisfying answer.

And you will leave people too.

One day, you will be someone else’s old friend. Someone’s first love, someone’s favorite person from a certain time in their life. Someone will remember a version of you that doesn’t exist anymore. You might never know who you become in someone else’s story, just like you’ll never know all the ways other people carried you after you left theirs.

That’s why we shouldn’t see every goodbye as something that needs to be undone. Some people come into our lives, change something, and leave. That’s not always a failure, that’s simply what happened.

Learning to live when people leave doesn’t mean becoming someone who doesn’t care, it means understanding that your life cannot stop every time someone walks out of it. You are still here, and there are still parts of your life you haven’t lived yet.

So let them leave if they have to, keep the memory if you want. Just don’t spend the rest of your life standing at a door that someone else already decided to close.

You seem pretty ignorant another. It’s about being able to look at the place you live in ad admit when something is wrong. Every country has problems, no government is perfect. But there is a difference between accepting that a country has problems and becoming so used to those problems that you stop questioning them, and that’s the part that scares me. When the corruption becomes something people joke about, when injustice becomes another normal headline, when people lose trust in their own government and simply say, “Well, that’s just how it is.” It should never have to be that way.

Sometimes people act like caring about politics means you have nothing better to do with your life, but politics is already inside our lives whether we care about it or not. It decides how expensive things become, how good our school are, how safe our streets are, how hospitals work, how much people earn, how the environment is treated, and what kind of future young people can even imagine for themselves. You can ignore politics, but you cannot always escape its consequences. That’s why being completely indifferent to what your government is doing feels so strange to me. You might not care about politics, but politics can still decide things about your life that you never agreed to.

And I understand why people become tired, I really do. When you see the same problems for years, it gets exhausting. You complain but nothing changes, you get angry but another scandal happens. You always hope for something better, and them another disappointment comes. Eventually, you stop expecting anything. You stop arguing, and you stop reading the news. You just go to work, go to school, talk o your friends, laugh at something stupid things, fall in love, and try to get through the day because you have your own life to survive. Maybe that is how people become numb without even realizing it.

But being tired is different from pretending nothing is happening.

The people who can afford to ignore these things are often the people who are not being hit by them yet. It is super easy to say “I don’t care” when your family is safe, your education is secure, your income is enough, and you still believe your future is going to be okay. But somewhere, someone is paying for the same decisions you decided were not worth caring about. Someone is working twice as hard just to have half as much, someone is losing an opportunity they may never get back, someone is watching their home become harder to live in, and someone is wondering whether they should leave the country they love because they no longer see a future there.

That is what make political ignorance so painful, because you don’t always see the damage immediately. Sometimes it takes years, it reaches another person first, it reaches the next generation. By the time it reaches you, the people who caused it may already be gone.

I think people also forget that criticizing your government is not the same as hating your country. If anything, sometimes it comes from caring too much. You criticize because you know things could be better, you get angry because you are disappointed, you question things because you don’t want to accept them as normal. Loving a country should not mean pretending it has no problems. You should be able to love your home and still say, “This is wrong.” You should be able to be proud of where you come from and still demand better from the people running it.

Because what is the point of patriotism if it only ask people to be proud but never asks those in power to do better?

No country should need its people to become numb just to be survive. No generation should grow up thinking corruption is simply part of adulthood. No young person should feel like their only realistic plan is to leave because they have stopped believing their own country can give them a decent future, And no one should have to feel guilty for saying that they are disappointed with the place they call home.

We should stop romanticizing people’s ability to survive bad systems. Sometimes people say, “Our people are strong,” when what they really mean is, ‘Our people have been forced to endure too much.” There is nothing impressive about making people suffer and then praising them for being resilient. People deserve more than survival, they deserve a life where they do not constantly have to be strong.

And this applies everywhere. Different countries have different problems, different governments, different histories different cultures. But the feeling is the same. People get tired of watching things get worse, tired of bring told to wait, tired of hearing promises, tired of watching the same people fail them and them come back asking for trust again. Eventually, they stop believing because sometimes they simply cannot afford to hope anymore.

That’s why I think the real danger is not only a bad government, it is when people become so used to a bad government that they no longer believe they deserve a better one. Because once people accept that, everything becomes easier to justify.

Another lie, another scandal, another broken promise, another person suffering, another excuse. And eventually, nobody even asks why anymore.

That should scare us more than anything.

If a birds falls in love with a fish, where will they I thought if two people love each other enough, they would eventually find a place where they both belonged. But maybe the saddest truth is that some questions were never meant to have an answer. Some people meet at the perfect moments for their hearts, but the wrong moment for their lives.

The bird can love the fish with every feather is has, it can fly lower every day until the ocean kisses its wings. The fish can love the bird just as deeply, swimming to the surface every morning just to catch another glimpse before the bird disappears into the sky. They both believe that tomorrow will somehow be easier. That one more sacrifice, one more compromise, one more promise will finally close the distance between them.

But love has a way of asking for things it was never meant to ask.

The bird stays underwater a little longer each day, pretending its lungs don’t burn. The fish keeps leaping into the air, pretending it isn’t terrified every time it can’t breath. They both smile trough the pain because neither wants to be the first to admit that loving each other has started to hurt more than it heals.

That’s the kind of heartbreak people rarely talk about.

The heartbreak of loving someone with your entire heart while slowly realizing that being together asks both of you to become someone you’re not. You don’t leave because you stopped caring. You leave because you can feel yourself dissapearing.

Sometimes people thinks incompatible means two people who never loved enough. I think it’s often the opposite. Sometimes they loved so deeply that they kept sacrificing themselves until there was almost nothing left. One become quieter just to avoid conflict, the other carried very burden alone just to avoid being “too much.” They kept convincing themselves this was what commitment looked like, when in reality they were only learning how to survive each other instead of truly living togther.

The cruelest part is that nobody is wrong. The bird isn’t selfish for needing the sky, the fish isn’t selfish for needing the sea. They aren’t enemies, they aren’t failures. They simply belong to worlds that ask different things of them. Love make them meet in the middle, but it cannot make the middle become home.

Life is full of people who feel like they were written for us, yet reality quietly reminds us that love isn’t the only thing a relationship needs. Timing matters, dreams matter, healing matters, the lives we’ve built before meeting each other matter. Sometimes two people are perfect for each other’s hearts, but impossible for each other’s futures.

Maybe real love isn’t proven by how tightly you hold on. Maybe it’s proven by refusing to ask someone to abandon the parts of themselves that keep them alive. Loving someone shouldn’t require them to give up their peace, silence their dreams, or forget who they are just to make the relationship work. If staying together means one of you has to stop breathing emotionally, then staying was never the happy ending.

So if a bird falls in love with a fish, where were they live?

Maybe they won’t.

Maybe they’ll forever meet where the waves touch the sky, sharing moments that never last long enough, loving each other in the only place neither of them can truly stay. And maybe that’s what makes some love stories unforgettable because they were real enough to leave a home inside each other, even when they could never build one together.

Maybe It Was You

My love, I’m not religious person, but sometimes I think God made I don't think much about fate, destiny, or whether life is meticulously planned before it begins.

Most days, I believe people just meet. We live in the same world, go through the same years, and sometimes our paths cross. But there are times when I see you, that explanation doesn't seem to suffice anymore. Of all the people I could know, all the conversations I could have, all the lives I could touch just for a moment before moving on, somehow I found you. Sometimes I wonder how something can feel so coincidental yet so right. Maybe that's why, every now and then, I find myself thinking something I've never thought about before. Maybe God made you for me.

It's not that you complete me, or that you saved me, or that my life was empty before you came along. I was already a whole person before I knew your name, just as you were already a whole person before you knew mine. But there's something beautiful about finding someone who understands the language of your heart without the need for translation. Someone whose presence quietly seeps into your life until you no longer remember what it was like before they were there. It's not a feeling of drama, fireworks, or destiny written in the sky. It's something more subtle than that. It's the feeling of looking at someone and feeling incredibly grateful that, despite impossible odds, they're there in the same moment as you.

I think it's a feeling many people experience, though they call it by different names. Some call it luck, fate, perfect timing, and some call it God. Whatever you call it, it's the feeling of finding someone who makes the world feel a little less lonely. The feeling of realizing that among billions of lives, there's one that somehow fits your own. One person whose happiness is as important to you as your own, one person whose laughter is part of your favorite memories and whose pain is something you're willing to endure for them.

And maybe that's why I think about God sometimes, because there are things in life that logic can explain and things it can't. Logic can explain how we met. Logic can explain distance, time, circumstances, and coincidence. But logic can't explain why some people feel familiar from the start, logic can't explain why certain souls come and stay in your life without asking. It can't explain why, in a world full of strangers, one person can feel like the place you've been searching for without even realizing it.

So, no, I'm not religious. I still have questions, I still doubt more things than I'd like to believe. But every now and then, when I think of you, when I think of how rare it is to be understood, how rare it is to be loved, and how rare it is to find someone whose very existence changes my days, I find myself looking up for a moment and wondering. Maybe some things are bigger than mere coincidence, maybe some people are gifts we never asked for but somehow need. And maybe, God made you for me.

We’re Growing

Whenever you speak badly about yourself, remember you're speaking to for years has been yourself. Not strangers, not your enemies, and not the people who left. It’s you, and what makes it even more heartbreaking is knowing that every cruel word never only landed on the version of you standing here today. It traveled backward, reached every version of you that ever existed. Especially the child, the one who still lives inside your chest and carrying memories they never fully learned how to put down.

People forget that children believe everything deeply. A child doesn’t know how to separate truth from repetition. If they hear something enough times, they begin to build a home around it. So when you stand in front of a mirror now and call yourself ugly, stupid, embarrassing, difficult to love, a failure, weak too much, never enough — imagine where those words go. Imagine them falling directly into the hands of the child you once were, the child who was already trying so hard, who practiced smiling in mirrors, who got excited when people praised them for the smallest things, who cried themselves to sleep sometimes without fully understanding why, and the child who thought adulthood would finally feel safe.

That’s the cruelest part of all. The younger version of you survived everything believing one day they would finally meet someone who understood the completely. Someone who would protect them gently, someone who would speak softly to their fears instead of laughing at them. They waited their entire life for that person and that person was supposed to be you.

But somewhere along the way, people become cruel in the exact ways they were once hurt. The world teaches them to sharpen themselves to survive, and without realizing it they inherit the voices that once broke them. The disappointed teacher, absent parent, mocking classmate, impossible beauty standard, comparison, rejection. Eventually those voices settle inside someone’s head and begin speaking with their own mouth. That’s why some people can comfort others with endless patience but look at themselves with disgust, because self-hatred often sounds familiar before it sounds wrong.

There are people walking around right now carrying entire childhoods that never got comforted, you can see it in the way they apologize too much. In they way they panic after making ting mistakes and in the way compliments make them uncomfortable. The the way they overexplain, overwork, overlove, hoping maybe exhaustion will finally make them feel worthy. Some people were taught very young that love had to be earned through perfection, so now they punish themselves for every flaw like they are still trying to win affection that should have been unconditional from the start.

And despite all of that, the child inside them keeps surviving quietly.

That child is there when you stare at old photos too long. When someone raises their voice and your chest tightens instantly, when you feel guilty for resting, when you look at yourself and only notice everything that is missing instead of everything that endured. People think growing up means leaving your younger self behind, but honestly, adulthood is mostly carrying them everywhere. The difference is whether you carry them gently or drag them through your anger.

Imagine for a moment sitting across from the child you once were, then they asked you “Do we become someone good?” And now imagine answering them with the same words you say to yourself every day. Telling them they are pathetic, unworthy, a burden, hard to love. Just imagine watching their face fall after hearing that from the person they trusted most — their future self. There’s something almost unbearable about that image because deep down, people know children deserve tenderness. Even when they fail.

So why does that tenderness disappear once the child becomes you?

I know that maybe healing isn’t becoming a brand new person. Maybe it is learning that your inner voice does not have to sound like every person who hurt you or realizing that constantly humiliating yourself will never transform you into someone more lovable. Pain doesn’t purify people, it only exhausts them. And honestly, most people are already exhausted.

There are people who smile all day while secretly tearing themselves apart every night, who accomplish incredible things and still feel worthless in quiet moments. And the saddest part is that many of them genuinely believe they deserve it. They think self-hatred keeps them humble, keeps them motivated, keeps them realistic. But no child grows stronger from being hated. They only grow smaller, more afraid, and more desperate to earn kindness.

The younger you did not need perfection. They needed reassurance, and maybe adulthood finally becomes meaningful when you decide to become that person for yourself.

Because one day, all the younger versions of you — every age, every memory, every lonely little moment — become the person reading your thoughts now. They are all still here. Listening carefully, watching the way you speak about them, hoping that after all these years someone will finally choose kindness.

So before you call yourself worthless again, please stop for a second.

That child is still listening.

And they have already been hurt enough.

There are too many languages to People say it, show it, write it, prove it. Some people are loud about it, some are quite, some don’t even know how to say it but still feel it deeply. Everyone has their own way of loving, and none of them are wrong.

But if I have to choose the most honest one, I think it’s prayer.

Prayer is the kind of love that doesn’t need anything back, it doesn’t wait for a reply, it doesn’t ask to be noticed, it doesn’t try to be understood. It just exists deeply without asking for space in someone’s life.

When you pray for someone, you’re loving them in a way that is very pure. You’re not trying to hold them, not trying to keep them close, not trying to make them yours. You’re just hoping they are safe, that they are okay, that life is gentle to them even if you’re not part of that life anymore, and that kind of love is not easy.

Sometimes the people we pray for are the sane people we had to let go of. The same people we miss but can’t reach anymore, and the same people who will never know how much space they still take in our hearts. But even then, we still choose to wish them well. There’s something very human about that.

And I think a lot of people carry this kind of love without talking about it. They move on, they smile, they live their lives, but somewhere inside them there’s a still a quiet hope for someone else’s happiness. So maybe that’s what makes prayer so beautiful, it holds love that has nowhere else to go.

It doesn’t matter what language you speak, where you come from, or what you believe in. If you have ever cared deeply about someone, you understand this feeling. You’ll understand what it means to love without needing to be seen.

And maybe that’s why prayer feels so universal. I think prayer is where that love goes when it has no place left to stand.
