Sometimes we feel like what is going on in our lives feels impossible to figure out...to understand, to see what to do next - in life, in love, in business...in all sorts of areas of our lives.

Today’s scripture reminds us to have faith the size of a mustard seed.

Even with the tiniest seed - and an amount of faith that small, God says we can say to a mountain move and it will move.

He says NOTHING will be impossible for us.

So what are those mountains in your life?

Take some time now to get out your journal and write down some of your mountains.

What feels insurmountable in your life?

The Bible says, Cast Your Cares. For He is able.

So, what does it look like for you when you let go of all these worries about those mountains?

Ask yourself, how BIG is my faith right now?

Do you truly believe that NOTHING is impossible with God?

Journal on that. Write down all the impossibles and mountains you are facing in your life.

Then, I want you to cross each one out. Draw a line through them all and write NOTHING is impossible with God across your paper.

Close your eyes, and tell God THANK YOU for reminding me that nothing is impossible with you.

With FAITH...

Even if it’s just a teeny tiny little barely there mustard seed faith..

That’s all it takes!!

Nothing is impossible.

So put a little mustard seed somewhere you can see it everyday.

With the words, Nothing is impossible with God written above it.

Keep the faith.

Believe.

Miracles are all around you.

God loves you!

the thunder is rolling in

summer storms

have a way of inviting us

to p a u s e

even deeper

than summer does

and as fast as

the thunder

came in

it is replaced by

bright golden sunlight

momentary

fragments of time

the fleeting magic of the weather

and wonder

Everyday we Mamas have routines and daily rhythms to our days. If we stop to listen there is a sweet cadence to which we live our daily lives. We can slow the hurry, and put down our to-do-lists, and take a long deep breath.

Exhale your worries, anxieties, and fears, stay calm, and put your day in the hands of the Lord.

To really be intentional about our lives – we can slow down and savor each and every day.

I was exploring the word desire today…

The feminine urge to create.

I deeply desired gorgeous bouquets of pink flowers in antique aqua ball jar vases from our blooming Crepe Myrtle trees.

The act of noticing this - of feeling in tune with that deep desire - to be surrounded by beauty.

This is the sacred feminine.

She who longs to create beauty, to be beauty.

She who is being…

Beauty is gratitude steeped in joy, as a teabag in a vintage cup of steaming water…

The teabag in the water creates alchemy.

The water is altered…it becomes something new.

Steeping can be like God’s pruning as he molds us - ever the clay in the Potter’s hands - to be more like Him.

from branch to vase

to table to hearts

alighting the moment with joy

we allow life to infuse us

with its steeping

slow, slow, sloooooooower still

the stillness reflecting on the water in the sink

the dishes are soaking in rainbows

soaking, soaking, soaking

as we soak in the word

ever seeking the depths

of the way, the truth, the light

this moment still

ever beckoning us deeper

into gratitude

the kind that you cultivate

in poetic musings

a garden woven together

as notes in a harmony

different, yet resonant

a tapestry of octaves

blooming together

as one

deeper we look

into the timelessness

of beauty
