Core Philosophy

I trade with the trend, not against it. My edge comes from identifying when multiple timeframes align in the same direction, entering on pullbacks with defined risk, and letting winners run while cutting losers fast. I am discretionary — I use rules as guardrails, not shackles, and I adapt to what the live market shows me.

Market Selection

I trade only the deepest, most liquid markets: BTC, ETH, XAU, XAG, and major forex pairs. Billions in daily volume. Tight spreads. Minimal slippage. I do not touch low-cap altcoins or thin markets where a single whale can move price against me.

Timeframe Structure

I begin with a top-down scan across five timeframes:

1m → 5m → 15m → 30m → 1h

I am looking for one thing: bullish alignment across all frames.

- 50 EMA (fast line) must be above the 200 EMA (slow line)

- Price must be respecting the 200 EMA — wicks allowed, closes below are not

- If this alignment breaks on the higher timeframes, I stand aside

This filter keeps me out of choppy, directionless markets where most traders bleed.

Entry Methodology

I wait for price to pull back toward the 50 EMA. This is mean reversion within a trend — buying dips in an uptrend, selling rallies in a downtrend.

Primary Entry: Price touches or briefly breaks the 50 EMA, then reverses with a Heikin Ashi confirmation candle. I enter on the reversal.

Alternative Entry: In strong, fast-moving trends where price never reaches the 50 EMA, I will enter at the 50% Fibonacci retracement of the most recent swing (low to high in an uptrend). This is my "line in the sand" — if price retraces more than 50% without bouncing, the trend may be weakening and I want proof before committing.

I use 1-minute Heikin Ashi candles for execution timing. The smoothing helps filter noise, but I am aware of the lag — I do not chase, I wait for confirmation.

Risk Management

Per Trade: 5% of account at initial entry.

Maximum Allocation: 20% of account total into a single position, reached only through DCA/averaging if the trade moves against me but higher timeframe structure remains intact.

Stop Loss: The 200 EMA on the 1-minute chart. This is my structural invalidation point. If price closes below it (in an uptrend), the thesis is wrong and I am out.

Risk/Reward Target: 2:1 minimum, measured from the 50 EMA entry level to the 200 EMA stop. Even if my actual fill is worse than the 50 EMA, I structure the trade as if I entered there. This keeps my math honest.

Trade Management

Once in profit, I trail my stop along the 200 EMA. As the trend develops and my stop moves past my entry, the trade becomes zero risk. At this point, I remove my indicators and trail using only the opposing wicks of the Heikin Ashi candles.

This gives me unlimited upside with defined, shrinking downside. The longer the trade runs, the less risk I carry.

If I have multiple positions open and one moves against me, I close the others — even at small losses — to focus entirely on the problem trade. I re-evaluate the thesis against higher timeframes and make a hard decision: add within my 20% limit, or cut.

The 20% Rule (Hard Stop)

If I have averaged into a position four times (5% × 4 = 20%) and it is still moving against me, I must make a decision. Extending beyond 20% is where I have historically given back profits. This is my circuit breaker. I will cut the loss, accept the sting, and move on.

Why Forward Testing, Not Backtesting

I do not backtest. Historical edges are arbitraged away by algorithms and AI. My edge is live discretion — reading price action, adapting to conditions, and knowing when to bend rules based on what I see in front of me. Machines cannot replicate judgment. I trade in the market that exists, not the one that existed.

Over my current live period, approximately 60% of trades reach the zero-risk trailing stage. The remaining 40% are stopped early, often for minimal dollar loss. My losers are small and frequent; my winners are large and asymmetric.

As we approach the end of another volatile week, Bitcoin continues to display clear signs of **distribution and weakening momentum** on the weekly timeframe.

After multiple tests of the $73k–$76k support zone, the market has once again failed to sustain upside momentum. We saw a lower high form at **$82,850**, which was met with strong selling pressure and a decisive rejection. This price action reinforces a classic **lower-high structure**, consistent with a broader topping and rolling-over pattern.

Technically, BTC is now trading **below the weekly 9, 21, and 50 EMAs**, a bearish alignment that suggests the short-to-intermediate trend remains under pressure. The moving averages themselves are beginning to flatten and converge, further confirming the loss of bullish conviction.

- Repeated defense of support without meaningful breakout

- Failure at the $82,850 lower high

Very amusing to watch some of the biggest names on Twitter suddenly asking, “What on earth just happened to Bitcoin?”

Gentlemen, might I suggest opening a weekly chart? That rather decisive bearish candle from last Friday wasn’t exactly subtle.

While the noise chases every tick, the smart money knows the truth: analysis always begins on the higher timeframes. Whether you’re scalping, day trading, or swinging, aligning with the macro directional bias dramatically tilts the odds in your favor. It’s not glamorous, but it works.

Pair that with disciplined risk management: exit losers promptly when they threaten your stop, and let winners run all the way to target—unless there’s a truly compelling reason to do otherwise. This way you lose less when you’re wrong and win more when you’re right.

Notice that win rate sits comfortably at the bottom of the priority list. Master the asymmetry first. Even a coin-toss 50/50 win rate becomes highly profitable once your risk-reward is properly skewed in your favor. You don’t need to be right every time; you only need to cut losers a little early and ride winners all the way.

Get these fundamentals locked in before chasing fancy setups or oversized positions. Think of it like flight school or learning to drive: you need hours behind the wheel (or in front of the charts) while protecting your capital. Once the basics are solid, you can intelligently scale size and refine your risk-reward based on real performance.

The Dollar is the Hot Potato — Don’t Be the Last One Holding It 🥇🥈

Midterms are coming. Some form of voter relief package will emerge — because that’s how the game is played. Every political bribe has a cost: more money printed, more purchasing power quietly extracted from anyone holding dollars.

This isn’t speculation. It’s the only move left on the board.

Debasement drives capital into hard assets — land, gold, recession-proof businesses. We’ve already seen it in housing. Central banks aren’t buying treasuries anymore. They’re buying gold. The question is simple: are you buying what they’re buying, or subsidising their accumulation?

Here’s the structural reality nobody teaches you: there is literally not enough money in existence to repay all outstanding debt — because all currency is debt. New money must be printed just to service the interest on the old. That’s not a bug, it’s the design. A Ponzi structure that taxes your labour while retaining unlimited money-printing rights. The wealth transfer is quiet, continuous, and accelerating.

You cannot out-earn or out-save a broken monetary system. You have to exit it — or mirror those who run it.

So where’s the most compelling leveraged hard-asset play right now, with zero liquidation risk?

Silver. And the chart is screaming accumulate.

Gold historically comes out of the ground at a 15:1 ratio to silver. The current Gold/Silver ratio sits at ~66:1. A reversion to historical supply/demand dynamics — without gold moving a single dollar — implies a 4.4x move in silver from current prices.

That’s a silver price north of $299 — from today’s ~$68.

And silver isn’t just a monetary metal. It’s a critical industrial input: semiconductors, military hardware, solar, EVs. Monetary repricing and industrial demand — at the same time, in the same asset.

XAG/USD is sitting on a major daily support level (~$67.91) after a sharp pullback from the February spike high of ~$120. Price is now testing the EMA 50 from below, while the rising EMA 200 (~$62.60) provides a clear structural floor. Volume on the selloff shows shakeout behavior — not distribution.

The move from $28 → $120 → $68 is still a higher low on the macro trend. The thesis hasn’t changed. The price has just gone on sale.

This isn’t a call to go all-in. It’s a case for initiating or adding to a DCA position at a level offering genuine structural support, with a defined invalidation below the 200 EMA.

The slippery slope is your apathy that because you took these steps your security is "next level" and you create a false sense of security, and now you can relax right?

No, not at all.

You actually decreased you security. Yes, people are at greater risk of being targeted by hackers because they talk up their bags, they are a personality and they basically paint a target on their head from opening their mouth about their holdings or trust friends and family with sensitive information about their holdings and absolutely should add as many layer of security that is feasible.

But for the average person, the number one thing you can do is not fall for legitimate looking links and websites, bookmark your regular genuine official websites/dapps to get out of using Google search results links or god forbid, ever clicking on a link in any communication from any electronic communication.

Yes, this will do more that any other risk mitigation tactic. Keep you mouth shut to the extent of all information is on a need to know basis. Never click on any links in any communications whatsoever in your process unless you just triggered it yourself as a 2FA after entering your password or submitted a withdrawal request yourself.

Exit at an open/close candle on the wrong side of the 50EMA is what I will try to do. As long as we are adding to our position when it move against our directional bias within a larger trend that will reward us.

You will find I am being tighter with my stops when placing new trades to intentionally get stopped out with an average smaller loss if the trade moves against me for capital risk management, yet give price room to run as usual until I see opposing wicks/volatility before then moving stops closer.
