What matters is your ability to foresee the journey ahead, prepare for it, and pay the necessary price to reach the finish line.

Many people begin with great zeal, passion, and excitement, but not everyone finishes. Zeal can make you start, but wisdom keeps you on the track and strength helps you get to the finish line and finish strong. 💪

The Christian journey, our assignments, relationships, careers, and even our personal growth all require more than a strong beginning. They require endurance, wisdom, strength, the right company, intimacy with God, and a commitment to His Word.

Here are some secrets to finishing the race. 👇

1. Strength: Receive the Strength to Finish

There is a strength reserved for finishing that you must intentionally seek from God.

Sometimes, we assume that being strong means having everything figured out or never feeling weak. But Scripture teaches us that God's strength is often most evident in our weakness. When we recognize our limitations and turn to Him, we create room for His strength to work in and through us.

Your weakest moments can become some of your most powerful moments when they drive you into the presence of God.

This is why prayer for strength cannot be overemphasized. You need strength not only to start well but also to remain faithful when the excitement fades, challenges arise, and the journey becomes difficult. His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in weakness.

2. Company: Choose those who help you go further

The people you surround yourself with can greatly influence how far you go.

There is safety in the company of counsellors, and the right relationships can provide encouragement, correction, wisdom, accountability, and strength when you need them most.

There is a popular saying: “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go with people”

Finishing the race requires the right people around you. You need people who can challenge you, pray with you, correct you, inspire you, and help you become better.

Ask God for stronger friends, people who are ahead of you in areas where you desire growth. Do not only look for people who make you comfortable; look for people who make you better.

The right company can help you stay on the track when you are tempted to quit.

3. Intimacy: Remain in the Presence of God

One of the greatest secrets to finishing well is intimacy with God.

Intimacy is more than asking God for what you need. It is waiting upon Him, unveiling yourself before Him, knowing Him, and allowing Him to reveal Himself to you.

There is a strength and joy that can only be found in God's presence.

Psalm 16:7 📌 reminds us of the blessing that comes from receiving God's counsel, while Nehemiah 8:10 declares that the joy of the Lord is our strength.

When you spend time in God's presence, He renews your strength, restores your joy, gives you direction, and reminds you why you started in the first place.

Do not become so busy pursuing the assignment that you neglect the One who gave you the assignment. Stay close to God. The journey is too long to walk it without Him.

4. Confession of the Word

What you consistently say, think, and do matters. 📌

The Word of God must not only be something you read; it must become the foundation of your thoughts, words, decisions, and actions.

Speak God's Word over your life. Meditate on His promises. Train your mind to see things from God's perspective rather than through the lens of fear, negativity, or discouragement.

But it does not end with positive thinking. Your thoughts must produce the right actions.

Confess the Word. Think according to the Word. Then live according to the Word.

Finishing requires alignment between what you believe, what you say, and what you do.

Starting is exciting, but finishing requires endurance. 📌

You may not always have the same energy you had at the beginning. There will be seasons when the road feels long, when you become tired, when you question your progress, and when quitting seems easier than continuing, but remember: you were not called merely to start the race; you were called to finish it.

So, seek God's strength. Choose your company wisely. Cultivate intimacy with God. Fill your heart and mind with His Word, and let your actions reflect what you believe.

Your beginning can be great, but your ending be greater. 💪

I hope this ministered to your heart in some way. 🫂🤍

One of the easiest mistakes we make as believers is assuming that because God convicted us of something, He must be calling everyone else to the exact same conviction, which is not always true. 🤷

There's a difference between personal conviction and what God calls sin. God deals with people individually. He knows our histories, our weaknesses, our wounds, and the places where our hearts are most vulnerable.

Sometimes He asks one person to lay something down because He knows it has become an idol in their life. That does not automatically make that thing sinful for another person.

Not every belief people hold is rebellion against God. Many beliefs come from pain, experience, culture, and the lessons life has taught them. We all see life through our own stories. But truth is not based on experiences.

Truth comes from God. Our experiences may explain why we think the way we do, but they do not change what God has already said is true. 📌

That is why as believers we should not turn personal convictions into rules for everyone else. At the same time, we should not reject God’s truth just because it feels hard or unpopular.

With time, truth becomes clear. We can argue, defend our views, and influence others, but eventually light will show what is reallll. The results of our lives reveal what our beliefs are built on and only light can expose what is hidden.

So before correcting others, we should remember that many people are hurting. Behind your opinions are stories, wounds, pains, disappointment, fear, and confusion.

We can care for people without changing the truth. Compassion is seeing people as people, and not as problems.

So when we speak truth, it should be with love and gentleness. We can hold our convictions and not force them on others as if our experience defines everyone’s walk with God.

In the end, what matters most is not our opinions, but whether our lives reflected His truth, His love, and His light. Because one day, everything hidden will be brought into the light. 🕯️

                              THANKS FOR READING. 🤗

Everyone knows this cheat code already: consistency is key. It's on every motivational post, every productivity video, every business thread. Show up every day. Keep going. Stay consistent.

But if consistency were the only key, everyone who showed up daily would eventually get the same results.

Funny how they don't. 🤷

Some people stay consistent for years and never break through, while others make massive progress in a short time. So what's the difference?

Consistency matters. It forms habits. It develops discipline. But consistency without direction is just repetition. Consistency without improvement is just routine.

There are also other keys that deserve more attention.

Here are three: 👇

Clarity

Clarity about what you are building. Clarity about why you are building it. Clarity about who you are building it for.

You can spend years being consistent in the wrong direction. Imagine climbing a ladder every single day, only to realize it's leaning against the wrong wall.

Consistency will only amplify whatever direction you are moving. If the direction is wrong, you'll simply arrive at the wrong destination faster.

The clearer your vision becomes, the more meaningful your consistency becomes.

Adaptability

Many people confuse consistency with doing the exact same thing over and over.

They are not the same.

The world changes. Algorithms change. Markets change. People change. You change.

Being adaptable means you are willing to learn, test, fail, adjust, and improve without abandoning your mission.

The goal stays the same. The strategy does not have to.

The strongest people are not always the most consistent they are sometimes the ones who knows when to switch things without giving up, because Growth requires flexibility.

Courage

This might be the most underrated key of all.

You start with courage but consistency keeps you moving.

It takes courage to publish your first article. To launch your business. To ask for opportunities. To raise your prices. To start over. To keep showing up when no one seems to notice, especially on this app. 😂🤲

Many people are not inconsistent because they are lazy. They are inconsistent because fear keeps interrupting them.

Fear of failure. Fear of judgment. Fear of not being good enough.

Courage does not remove those fears. It simply teaches you to move anyway.

And sometimes, one courageous decision can change many years of quiet consistency.

<a easily.

Think of success as a door with multiple locks.

Consistency is one key.

Clarity tells you which door to open.

Adaptability helps when the lock changes.

Courage gives you the confidence to turn the key.

So instead of asking, "How can I become more consistent?"

You should also ask:

Am I clear about where I'm going?

Am I willing to adapt?

Do I have the courage to keep moving when it's uncomfortable?

With these few points, I hope I've been able to convince and not confuse you that consistency is powerful, but it's not the only key.

Thanks for reading. 🤗
<p class="button-wrapper" Then God reminded me of a habit I had promised to stop. I had completely let go of it at one point, but because of certain circumstances, I went back to it today. I made that choice because I have free will, even though I knew it wasn't what God wanted for me.

My first instinct was to make an excuse: "Why didn't You stop me from doing it?"

But then it became clear to me that God had already shown me the right path. He had given me His Word, the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and the freedom to choose. But the decision to yield myself was still mine.

Deuteronomy 30:19 says:

"I am now giving you the choice between life and death, between God's blessing and God's curse, and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life."

Here's my lesson: 👇

Yes, God is loving, gracious, and merciful. But His grace should never become an excuse for living carelessly. We cannot keep choosing the same sinful patterns over and over and expect to mature spiritually or be faithful stewards of what God entrusts to us. A person who has been tested and remains faithful is someone God can trust with greater responsibility.

Being a Christian is more than claiming to be a child of God. God desires people who will willingly obey Him, even when it is difficult.

God understands the pressures we face, and there is a place for His strength and grace to help us in our weaknesses. But there are also moments when we must intentionally choose to obey because He will not force His will on us, and the choices we make at the end reveals if we truly love God.

So, not looking back means choosing to remain faithful and focused, not because there are no distractions or temptations, but because we genuinely love Him and desire to please Him.

Not looking back is a daily decision to keep our hands on the plow, to fix our gaze on Jesus Christ, and to fully surrender our hearts to His will.

I hope this blessed your heart? 🤗🤍

I Hate Asking For Help.

What If They Say No?

TheExcellentBlessing

The bravest thing I do is asking for help…

Not because I don’t need it, but because I’m scared of hearing, “No.”

It’s not even the asking that’s hard... it’s the vulnerability that comes with it. As I stepped out of my room, I thought to myself, "I can just start praying on my way so that even fetching water will be productive."

I hadn't even started praying when the Holy Spirit impressed this on my heart: "If you found studying your Bible as easy as you find praying, you will be faster."

Faster how? I was confused, so He further explained:

"Prayer without the Word is like trying to run with one leg. You may still move, but it's slow, stressful, painful, and sometimes unproductive."

It was at this moment… 😭🤲

I've heard countless teachings about the importance of both prayer and Bible study, but I'didnt understand it this deeply. To get the picture, I literally tried running on one leg. I couldn't even take up to nine steps without needing support.

That's when I realized how limiting it is to rely on prayer while neglecting the Word. Prayer is powerful, but the Word is what fuels it.

So to run fast, I need my two legs “Prayer and Bible.”

Prayer is how you talk to Him, the Bible is how you hear Him. Now imagine how beautiful it is getting a response as you talk and in that response there's a direction on what's next to do. 🤭

Prayer works, but when it is joined with the Word of God, the result is even greater.

So, if you've been praying but neglecting your Bible, let this be your gentle reminder to pick it up today. Spend time in the Word and let God speak to you.

Thank you for reading. 😊🌹

There was a time I had a roommate I was very close to. We shared the same name, had so much in common, and before long, we were becoming best friends. We did almost everything together even washing plates.

Now, washing plates was never really my thing because it wasn't exactly one of my responsibilities growing up. But because we were doing things together, I didn't mind.

Then we had a misunderstanding.

Almost overnight, everything changed. We started doing things separately. I also noticed that whenever she washed her plates, she no longer washed mine.

Naturally, I decided I would stop washing hers too. But something didn't sit right with me.

I was hurt by how things had turned out, and I didn't want to keep looking like I was chasing her friendship or trying to win back her attention. So I told myself, "I'll just leave things as they are." 🤷🏽‍♀️

Then God interrupted my thoughts.

He told me to keep washing her plates whenever I found them in the kitchen.

Sir??? 😭

I immediately started giving excuses.

"I don't even like washing plates. If there's anything else You want me to do, I'll do it but washing plates? No, Sir."

But He insisted.

That was when I realized something.

I had been loving because she was loving me too. The moment she stopped, I wanted to stop as well.

God showed me that true love isn't sustained by reciprocity, and it isn't built on conditions.

His exact words were: «"This is how she will know that your love is genuine."»

So, I obeyed.

I kept washing her plates, even though she never washed mine again.

At first, it was difficult. Sometimes, I wouldn't even bother cooking because I was trying to avoid having plates to wash. 😂🤲🏽 Eventually, I realized I couldn't keep running, so I stopped avoiding the kitchen. It was still hard. Every plate reminded me of the pain I felt.

But over time, obedience became easier than resentment. I got used to it.

Eventually, we resolved our differences and became friends again and the following semester, we were assigned to different rooms.

I won't lie, I was relieved. 😄 At least my plate-washing ministry had officially come to an end.

Looking back now, I'm grateful I obeyed, because God wasn't just teaching me how to love my roommate. He was teaching me how to love like Him.

Love that depends on being loved back is easy but love that continues to serve, forgive, and give even when nothing is returned is the kind of love God calls us to.

P.S. We're still very good friends today, and every time I think about this story, I'm reminded that sometimes God uses the smallest acts of obedience to teach us the biggest lessons about love.

Thank you for reading 🤗🌹

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank"
