But honestly, it wasn’t good enough to share with friends and family.

So I went back to the drawing board. I showed the app to developers, and they quoted me different prices based on the features I specified.

To put it simply, if I can raise $6,000, I can build a polished, professional app, with check-ins, one-on-one chat, group chat, no reply messages, and a clean design that actually feels good to use.

To get a visual understanding of how the app will work you can check the video I attached.

There are now more than 200 people who support, practice, or have practiced the Mseli ritual. I believe if we all come together, we can raise that amount.

So I’m asking you, as one of the many who believe in the Mseli ritual, to support this campaign.

You can comment the amount you wish to donate and either donate now or pledge to donate on a specific date before the end of September. I’ll add your name to the list of supporters, and we’ll track our progress together in real time, so you’ll always know how far we are from the goal.

To get the sending details, just inbox me and I’ll send them over. We primarily accept PayPal, but we can also accept SEPA transfers, Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo. If you prefer another method, just let me know, we’ll figure something out.

So please don’t hesitate to donate if you’re unsure about how to transfer. I’m happy to walk you through it.

And you can also help tremendously by restacking this post and sharing it with your network.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s build something we’ll all be proud to share.

Total: $240 ($240/$6,000 or 4%)

Patreon $65

Sunshine $50

TJ Farnum $25

Upbeat $50

Tim Miller $50

Public supporters of Mseli project.

Mseli project is a project that believes loneliness is one of the biggest crisis we are currently facing and hence more should be done to help reduce its impact on our societies.

Simp Of Human Progress (M)

Mseli project is a project that believes loneliness is one of the biggest crisis we are currently facing and hence more should be done to help reduce its impact on our societies.

Below are names of Substackers who support the project. Our mission is to build a culture of using the internet to check up on each other, rather than just consuming content, through popularizing Mseli ritual.

Mseli ritual involves sending one short daily message to people you care and remember, about how you are doing, your day or the weather. Such as: M: Feeling good, M: Travelling, M: A very rainy day.

The messages start with M: to signify they don’t need a reply and are just a simple way to stay connected.

Our current goal is to make the ritual popular in substack since there are many creators who write about mutual care, community and connection.

We currently have more than 50 substackers who practice the ritual.

If you’d like to join, scroll the list below. Substackers with (M) are open to doing Mseli with new people, text them. Those without (M) are only for existing friends, so please don’t text them unless you’re already connected.

If you join, comment your name and tell me if you’re open to trying But most of the time, we don’t actually know how they’re doing, unless we happen to text, or something big happens and they post.

Not because we don’t care, no, we just don’t have a simple way to stay connected.

Mseli check up

So I started something I call a Mseli check‑up. It’s very simple:

You send one short message a day about how you’re doing. Something like “I’m okay” or “long day today.”

The other person doesn’t reply. They just send theirs too.

Hence no conversation happens, just a small daily way of showing we care.

And if something serious ever comes up, that’s when you actually talk properly.

The Setbacks

When you use the Mseli check‑up with 3 to 5 people, it works beautifully. But when you try to do it with 10 or more, problems start to appear:

The people you care about are on different messaging apps. You end up jumping between WhatsApp, Messenger, SMS, and more, just to keep up.

Copy‑pasting your daily update to ten different threads, or rewriting it each time, becomes tiring since you’re saying the same thing over and over.

Sometimes someone isn’t online, and your messages sit unanswered. After three or four in a row with no reply, it starts to feel awkward, and makes the chat look one sided.

The Mseli App

Because of these setbacks, I built an app called, Mseli. It keeps the simplicity of the check‑up but removes the friction:

You post one status about how you’re doing, and everyone who cares can see it. No more copy‑pasting.

You invite the people you check in with to the same place ensuring you no longer have to jump between apps.

After reading someone’s status, you can press a button to send an automatic no‑reply message that you checked up on them. (or tap their name to write a short, personal one).

If someone hasn’t posted a status, you can press a button to send them an automatic “how are you?” message.

Hence it’s the same daily ritual, just easier.

Call to Action

I’ve now started the Mseli movement that aims to make checking up on each other a normal part of our days.

If you’d like to be part of it, you can try the Mseli check‑up with 3 to 5 close relatives or friends and see how it feels.

And once they get used to the rhythm, you can introduce the app to make it even smoother.

Below is a message you can copy, edit, and send to someone you’d like to try it with:

Hey, I came across something called a Mseli check-up.

We each send one short update a day about how we’re doing, like “I’m okay,” “long day,” or “travelling.”

No conversations, just a small daily way of showing we care.

If something important comes up, we talk properly.

I think it would be nice for us because it makes staying in touch effortless.

I would like to try it with you. We can start tomorrow.

A Simple Way To Stay in Each Other's Lives

We want to build a culture of using the internet to check up on each other and not just consume content through practicing the Mseli ritual.

Simp Of Human Progress (M)

We want to build a culture of using the internet to check up on each other and not just consume content through practicing the Mseli ritual.

It involves you and your relatives or friends sending each other one short daily message about how you’re doing, your day, or the weather. Like: M: Feeling good, M: Travelling, M: A very rainy day

The messages start with “M:” to mean no reply is needed. Just a simple way to stay connected.

Here’s what it looks like in real life:

You wake up. You type one message: “M: Looking forward to a party I will attend later.”

Then you send it to six people. Your mom. Your dad. Your sister. Your best friend. Your old mentor. Your neighbor.

Throughout the day, they send theirs back. Neither of you reply.

By noon, you know your mom is tired. Your sister is happy. Your friend is traveling. Your neighbor saw a red bird. And they know you’re going to a party later.

Do this every day, and you stay in each other’s lives, ensuring you never feel distant from people you care about.

But for you to be able to guide and invite them to practice the Mseli ritual with you, you must first develop the habit of sharing how you are doing every day.

That’s why we practice here together. Every day, I post a note, and substackers who appreciate Mseli ritual, comment how they are doing starting with M:

They also restack the note to remind others and share the practice with new people.

So to join, you can comment how you are doing and consistently show up every day.

Do this for months, and it will become second nature, and then you’ll be ready to guide a relative or friend to do it with you.

Also, if you see a comment by a fellow Substacker you’re friends with, feel free to share your “M:” in their inbox too, they might not see it in the comments.

Together we can change the world!!!

Magnum Opus

Mseli seeks to build a culture of checking up on each other since we believe we cannot build a healthy compassionate society on a foundation of isolated individuals.

Simp Of Human Progress (M)

Mseli seeks to build a culture of checking up on each other since we believe we cannot build a healthy compassionate society on a foundation of isolated individuals.

Our members first tried using normal platforms to check up on each other, but it was hard. Checking up on many people meant holding a conversation with more than 10 people, every day, asking each other how we are doing, which is not ideal and felt like a job.

So we built an app that allows each user to post a status of how they are doing such as: I am well and good.

People who care can just open the profile, read the status and send them a no reply message such as: have a nice day.

They will only see the message but cannot reply ensuring they don’t need to hold a conversation.

And if someone hasn’t posted a status, a user can press a button that will automatically send them a “How are you?” message.

Users can also easily find each other in the “find friends” page, and add each other, ensuring that you can start checking up on new friend’s right after joining the app.

We already have more than 30 users checking up on each other and ensuring we are slowly growing the movement.

The following is what we envision happening, when the culture of checking up on each other becomes mainstream:

Vision

Families will be closer

The first thing we envision happening is that families will be much closer since they will be checking up on each other every day through the app without it feeling like a chore.

This will allow our families to be more connected ensuring the next generation grows up with a wider circle of family members who care.

Friendships will last longer

The second thing we envision is friendships to last longer since they won’t die when we leave a neighborhood, school, workplace or college.

Instead, friends will keep on checking up on each other through the app even when they no longer meet every day ensuring everyone has a wider circle of friends and acquaintances.

Lost lives will be remembered

The third thing we envision is deceased people will be remembered by having pages where everyone who remembers them can press a remember button everyday showing they remember them and mourning collectively.

This will allow their legacy to continue and also make it easier to plan events to honor and remember the deceased person.

Local communities will grow stronger

The fourth thing we envision is local institutions such as religious institutions, sports teams, hospitals, schools etc. will have pages where everyone in the community can remember them every day.

This will form a stronger community bond which can lead to bigger things as we will discuss in the next part of the article.

Social causes will gain attention

The fifth thing we envision is millions of people remembering social causes such as homelessness, war, Healthcare, Education, Environment etc.

Every day, they will press a remember button on each page to show they believe more attention should be put to solving these problems.

At that scale, the pages become instruments of collective will.

Before pressing remember, users can see a group status. The group can control this status through online direct democracy i.e. Members propose and vote on what appears.

Example: An anti-corruption group with millions of members remembering everyday. A fraud case appears. Media covers it for one day, then moves on. The group votes to post the progress of the case as their status. Now millions see it daily, keeping public attention on it, until something changes.

Example: A boycott. A member proposes a poll asking if millions will boycott a company that has done something harmful. They vote yes and see others are ready. The boycott begins. The status tracks impact until the company responds.

The group can also own a collective bank. Advertisers can pay to reach this audience or members can donate allowing the group to have collective money.

Members can then propose funding bills. Money for shelters, schools, hospitals, innovations etc.

The group votes and if it passes, funds are released transparently.

Call to action

So our project has a huge vision and we have already started working on making it a reality.

If you love the vision, you can now help make it a reality by downloading the app, adding friends and making it a habit to check up on them every day.

The link to the app is:

Apple: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mseli/id6755754923

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mseli.mseli

The Loneliness pandemic

Loneliness is one of the defining problems of our time.

Simp Of Human Progress (M)

Loneliness is one of the defining problems of our time.

The World Health Organization estimates that 1 in 6 people globally experience loneliness. That’s nearly 2 billion people who feel unseen, forgotten and invisible.

It also reports that more than 871,000 people die each year due to loneliness related causes. That’s approximately 100 deaths every hour.

But beyond the statistics, most of us have experienced loneliness ourselves. Think about it for a moment.

How many people check up on you daily? Mostly zero. Maybe one or two.

How many people do you check up on daily? Mostly zero. Maybe one or two.

We thought, this can’t be right, and so we created a movement, whose members are ready to check up on someone, and open to being checked up on themselves, so that no one feels alone.

But we quickly realized that, if we use normal platforms, checking up on many people would mean holding a conversation with more than 10 people, every day, asking each other how we are doing, which is not ideal and would feel like a job.

So we built an app that allows each user to post a status of how they are doing such as: I am well and good.

People who care can just open the profile, read the status and send them a no reply message such as: have a nice day.

They will only see the message but cannot reply ensuring they don’t need to hold a conversation.

And if someone hasn’t posted a status, a user can press a button that will automatically send them a message that the user checked up on them.

Users can also easily find each other in the find friend’s page, and add each other, ensuring that you can start checking up on new friend’s right after joining the app.

That way, we can easily check up on each other every day without it feeling like a chore and in the process, ensure no one feels alone and irrelevant.

So if you have experienced loneliness and know how bad it is, you can download our app, add friends and help end the loneliness pandemic by checking up on them every day. Homelessness, War, Healthcare, Education, Environment etc.

Every day, you press a remember button on each page to show you believe more attention should be put to solving these problems.

Now imagine millions of people, who also share this sentiment, doing this daily.

At that scale, the pages become instruments of collective will.

Before pressing remember, users can see a group status. The group can control this status through online direct democracy. Members propose and vote on what appears.

Example: An anti-corruption group with millions of members remembering everyday. Money for shelters, schools, hospitals etc.

The group votes and if it passes, funds are released transparently.

This is the vision. A way for millions to focus attention and act together.

The failure

I built a simple version of this app. Users could create cause pages and press remember.

Since I had no connection to legacy media, no following and no advertising money, most people never heard about it.

And most of those who did said they'd join when it grows.

The few who tried, pressed remember for a week or two, and then stopped since the number of people remembering weren’t growing.

From this experience, I learned that we need a new feature that will retain users before we have millions, and builds the habit of remembering.

The new strategy

So I built a different feature first.

One that allows us to make our communities (such as family, friendships etc.) closer and more connected through allowing its members to easily check on each other every day.

Using family as example, if we use normal platforms, checking up on family members would mean holding a conversation with more than 10 of them, every day, asking each other how we are doing, which is not ideal and would feel like a job.

But with the new feature, each member would post a status of how they are doing such as: I am well and good.

Family members can just open the profile, read the status and send them a no reply sms such as: have a nice day.

They will only see the message but cannot reply ensuring they don’t need to hold a conversation.

And if someone hasn’t posted a status, a family member can press a button that will automatically send them a message that they checked up on them.

That way, we can easily check up on many family members every day without it feeling like a chore and in the process, the app is able to retain users.

Once enough family members join, you can create remembrance groups such as a group for a deceased relative where family members press "remember" each day to honor their memory, a family group that people can remember allowing it to stay active even without chatting etc.

This can be repeated for friend groups, sports teams, religious communities etc.

Once this habit is built with people closest to you, the foundation is laid. The same people remembering family groups can eventually remember homelessness, corruption, war etc.

The ask

If enough of us build these small habits with people we love, we can retain users, help them develop the habit of remembering groups and eventually reach the numbers needed to make the bigger vision possible.

If we don’t build this ourselves, the isolation continues. The following is the first invitation:

I check up on zero people a day (and zero people check up on me), yet, there are so many people whom if they passed away, I would feel so bad, including you.

So I decided to join the Mseli movement which challenges us to check up on those we care about every day.

It also built an app, called Mseli, to make the experience easier.

Sending everyone “how are you?” messages and them replying is tiring since I will have to manage many conversations.

In the app, users update a status of how they are doing (such as: I am sick today) and anyone who visits the profile can see, without directly asking them.

The app also allows no reply messages only, ensuring you can reply to their status without making it a conversation. So if someone is sick, you can send a no reply message such as: Get well soon.

And if someone is busy and can’t update their status every day, you can still send no reply messages such as: Have a good day. Or just view their profile and they will be notified you checked up on them.

I was asking if you could download the app, sign up and turn on notifications, so that I can easily check up on you.

For those who accept and download the app, you can send them the instructions and then start checking up on each other every day to build a habit.

Second invitation

The second invitation is for those who will reject the first invitation. You can decide to send the invitation right away after the first rejection or wait a few days. The following is the second invitation:

I am truly serious on checking up on those I care about every day. (Including you)

Since you are not ready to download Mseli for now, I will be checking up on you in normal platforms.

Therefore, if you start receiving the messages, don’t think I need something, I am spying on you or I am depressed. It’s just me checking up on those I care about, since I believe it’s what makes life worth living.

To make it easier for you, I will be sending messages such as “have a good day,” instead of “How are you?”

And it’s fine if you don’t answer the messages, the important thing is you see it and feel seen.

And maybe when something happens in your life, that’s when you can reply.

After the second invitation, you will start sending them a message once everyday such as have a good day, I hope your day is going well, I hope your day went well, may your day go as planned etc.

This will show them you are serious and you didn’t ask them to download the app just for the excitement.

Third invitation

After about a week or more of checking up on them through a daily message, you can send them the third invitation:

Hello, so I have been checking up on you for a week now and using messenger has been hard for me since most of those I check up on are now in Mseli.

So I was just asking you to download the app, sign up and turn on notifications and that’s it. You wont have to do anything else. That would help me easily check up on you without being forced to use multiple apps. Thank you.

You can replace the word messenger with the name of the social media you use to check up on them.

Fourth invitation

If they reject the third invitation, you can continue sending them a message for a few more days and then send them the fourth invitation:

Hi, relative A, B and C have already joined Mseli and we have been checking up on each other for a week now. You can also join and help make our family stronger and more together. Here are the links:

You can replace the word A, B and C with names of relatives or friends who joined the app.

Fifth invitation

If they reject the fourth invitation, you can use the fifth invitation which is asking relatives or friends who have already joined and you have been checking up on them to ask them to join the app.

Could you let [Name] know how you’re finding the app? Maybe just send them a quick note like, ‘I wasn’t sure about Mseli either, but it’s actually nice getting [Your Name]’s check-ins without the chat pressure.

Hopefully, after the fifth invitation, they would finally join the app and you will have succeeded in making the people you care about, develop a habit of checking up on each other.

Conclusion

We can now all participate in this movement and make it a reality. The following are the links to the app and the instructions when someone downloads Mseli:

Apple: ‎Mseli App - App Store

Google: Mseli - Apps on Google Play

1) You and the person you want to check up on download the app, sign up and turn on notifications.

2) Both of you click add, type each other’s names in the search bar and click “add” below the names.

3) Click the person’s name to enter their profile and then send them a no reply message.

4) To see the no reply message they sent you, you can click profile in the bottom navigation bar.

5) You can also click update Status in the profile screen to share how you are doing.

Defeating the loneliness pandemic

Most of us watch the headlines and ask ourselves: How can political leaders be so heartless?

Simp Of Human Progress (M)

Most of us watch the headlines and ask ourselves: How can political leaders be so heartless? How can companies value profit over people? How can criminals commit acts of utter cruelty?

Yet we must also ask a more challenging question: Why does our society produce people with such behavior?

There is an ancient African proverb that offers a clue: A child who is not embraced by the village, will burn it down to feel its warmth.

How many people check up on you in a day? Mostly zero. Maybe one or two.

How many people do you check up on in a day? Mostly zero. Maybe one or two.

If this is the reality for most people, how can we expect them to show care or love to others when in positions of power?

I believe we cannot build a healthy, compassionate society on a foundation of isolated individuals.

And this conviction led me to found The Mseli movement that aims to make people use Mseli app.

Mseli is an app that lets users easily check up on each other by allowing a user to open a profile of another user and send them a no reply message such as: Have a good day.

The other user gets a notification, reads the message, and feels seen. There’s no reply box, so there’s no expectation or pressure to respond.

If they want, they can also post a status about how they are doing, such as, I am sick, so that when someone checks up on them, they can know their situation.

So if most people join the app and build the behavior of checking up on each other, it will drastically reduce the loneliness pandemic and help us have more compassionate and loving individuals.

If you would like to help the movement grow, you can invite and check up on your relatives and friends, and help fight the loneliness pandemic.

The more number of people you are able to invite and check up on, the more you help the movement grow.

To invite someone, you can copy the script below and send it to someone. It also contains links to the app that you can use to download the app yourself:

How many people check up on you in a day? Mostly zero. Maybe one or two.

How many people do you check up on in a day? Mostly zero. Maybe one or two.

Yet, how many friends or relatives would you be genuinely saddened if they passed away? The list is long.

We live in this quiet paradox: our hearts hold a wide circle of care, but our daily communication is just for urgent things.

We think of people constantly, an old friend, a cousin, a former colleague, but we don’t reach out.

Not because we don’t care, but because we feel we need a reason.

We default to silence, believing “I have nothing to say” is kinder than an empty “hey.”

But in that silence, connections gently fade. Distance grows. And all the people we deeply care about slowly become like faces in a photo album, instead of a living network of support.

This is the gap Mseli was built to bridge.

Mseli is an app that lets users easily check up on each other by allowing a user to open a profile of another user and send them a no reply message such as: Have a good day.

The other user gets a notification, reads the message, and feels seen. Most of us recognize how powerful corporations often exploit people for profit.

Yet despite being the majority, our shared values hold very little power.

Why? Because there is no effective system that unites us, coordinates us, and allows us to act together with one voice.

When someone gains enough influence to unite people and challenge the powerful, they are often silenced, discredited, or removed, and we end up returning to division and disorganization.

As one of the many, I started the Mseli Project to try and change this reality.

The goal of project is to build an app, developed in five phases, that gradually helps ordinary people form real unity, coordinated action, and eventually collective power over the systems that affect our lives.

The following are the five phases:

First Phase

The first phase of will involve building an app that gets people into the daily habit of checking up on each other.

The app, called Mseli, will allow users to post a short status about how they are doing such as: Having a nice day.

Anyone who cares can open their profile, read their status and send a no reply message such as: Enjoy!

The following is what life could look like if the first phase is successful:

You wake up and open Mseli. On your home screen are the names of your family, friends, and relatives.

You open your mother’s profile and read her status: Baking a cake today. You send a no reply message:
I wish I was there to taste it.

You open your father’s profile and his status reads: Long day today. You send a no reply message: I hope you have a good day.

You open your sister’s profile and her status reads: My son has the flu. Please pray for him. You send a no reply message: I hope he gets well soon.

You open a childhood friend’s profile. His status from yesterday reads: Traveling today. You press back, and the app automatically sends a no reply message that you checked on him.

You continue until you’ve checked on everyone.

Afterwards, you open your own profile and see that 13 people have checked up on you. You update your status, and within minutes, no reply messages start coming in.

Once phase one is established, users will be checking up on each other on a daily basis ensuring they form stronger bonds and communities.

Second phase

The second phase of the project will involve introducing a feature that allows users to create remembrance groups centered around people, relationships, and shared causes.

In these remembrance groups, people can press a remember button to show they remember the cause and others can see how many people have remembered the group.

For example, someone whose grandfather has passed away can create a remembrance group in his honor, where relatives and friends can press a “remember” button each day as a simple act of acknowledgment.

Likewise, a family group can be created in which members remember the group daily, ensuring the group remains active even when no one is actively chatting.

The groups can have features like showing how many people have remembered a group, who remembered the group etc.

By the end of the second phase, users will not only be checking up on one another but also consistently remembering shared groups, such as those for deceased loved ones, families, schools, religious communities, sports teams etc.

This phase depends on the success of the first since the remembrance feature only works once a sufficient number of people are already active in the app.

Third phase

The third phase of the project will involve adding features that will allow remembrance groups for national and global causes that are remembered by millions to form.

These groups include groups for cancer, housing crisis, unemployment, anti corruption, water crisis, police brutality etc.

To support the formation of national and global groups, the app will introduce several features designed to make collective organization effortless.

One of the core features will be an AI-driven system that allows users to write the causes they wish to remember in their own words.

The system then automatically recognizes the shared intent, and adds the participant to the community.

This will allow large groups to form quickly without the need for people to market them and convince people to add the group to their list.

Once the third phase is established, major national and international causes will be remembered every day by millions of people.

This sustained visible attention, will finally show the truth that shared human concerns are remembered more than celebrities, influencers, algorithmic distractions, or legacy media narratives, making clear what people actually care about.

Fourth phase

The fourth phase of the project will involve introducing an online direct democracy feature within groups, allowing the millions of people who remember shared causes to organize themselves under a clear, collective leadership structure.

This will also include adding a status feature that all people who remember will be able to see before they can press the remember button. This status can be used to show people a message, to run a poll etc.

The initial version of the online direct democracy system will be intentionally simple. Members will be able to propose bills to: Post a group status, Create polls or Change voting eligibility rules (for example, allowing only members who have remembered the group for a certain number of consecutive days to vote.)

Once a bill is proposed, members vote on it. If the proposal passes, the action is automatically executed by the system.

This structure will allow users who remember causes to meaningfully influence public attention and resist narrative manipulation.

For instance, if a fraud case emerges, an anti-corruption group remembered by millions can vote to display a persistent status highlighting the case until it is resolved or accountability is achieved.

Even if mainstream narratives attempt to divert attention, the collective focus of millions can repeatedly return attention to the issue.

The same democratic tools will also make organizing and measuring boycotts far more effective.

Members can vote to run a poll in the group status to see how many would participate in a boycott.

If the number is big, on the agreed start date, the boycott might start and millions will be happy since through the poll they are already sure others are participating too.

Group statuses can also display the real world impact of the boycott, allowing participants to track progress and outcomes.

Once the fourth phase is established, the collective will be able to use online direct democracy not only to shape narratives, but also to coordinate large-scale, effective boycotts.

Fifth phase

The fifth phase of the project will involve introducing an online collective bank feature, giving groups remembered by millions a shared financial arm they can govern and use together.

Since the groups will be getting millions of views everyday, it will be easy for them to get advertisers.

And since people will be sure the money is used for collective benefit, many will be willing to donate.

The initial version of the online collective bank will allow members to propose funding bills. If a proposal is approved through democratic voting, funds will be released in a controlled and transparent manner, ensuring that money is used strictly for its intended purpose. (Strong accountability and transparency mechanisms will be built into the system to maintain trust and prevent misuse.)

This structure, will give the collective, a direct way to fund projects that serve shared interests, reducing reliance on traditional investment banks and elite financial institutions that currently decide what is and is not worth funding.

When combined with online direct democracy, the collective bank will also enable shared ownership and governance of companies.

While many companies already operate through collective ownership in the form of shareholders, decision-making is typically concentrated among board members.

This system will decentralize those decisions, allowing thousands of qualified individuals to participate meaningfully in governance based on merit rather than status or wealth.

In the long term, the same model could extend beyond companies to public institutions and, eventually, aspects of government itself.

Once the fifth phase is established, groups will be able to collectively fund projects, own and govern organizations, and direct resources toward outcomes that benefit the collective rather than profit alone.

Call to action

This is the full vision of how the Mseli project aims to grow Mseli app through the 5 phases.

I have already developed the first version of the app for the first phase, and I am now working on getting people to join and invite their friends and relatives.

So if you believe and appreciate the Mseli project, you can look to join the app and invite your relatives and friends to help make the first phase successful. Thank you!!

Beyond Riches: The True Currency of Caring

Most people want to get rich not to necessarily enjoy and travel but to help their friends and family live better lives.

Simp Of Human Progress (M)

Most people want to get rich not to necessarily enjoy and travel but to help their friends and family live better lives.

Therefore, if we boil it down, all we want to do is to support the people we care about and ensure they have happier, more connected lives.

But achieving that level of wealth is not possible for most of us. So how else can we make a real difference on the lives of the people we love and care about?

One way could be using Mseli, which is an app that can help you stay connected and show care for your family and friends each day. Here’s what life might look like if you and those close to you use it:

Imagine waking up in the morning, opening Mseli and landing on the home page with names of your family, friends and relatives.

You open your moms profile and read her status: Baking a cake today. You send her a no reply message: I wish I was there to taste it.

You open your fathers profile and read his status: Long day today. You send him a no reply message: I wish you a nice day.

You open your sister’s profile and read her status: My son has flu, pray for him. You send her a no reply message: I hope my uncle gets well soon.

You open your childhood friends profile and read his status: Travelling today. However, it was yesterdays status and he hasn’t updated it yet. You press the back button and an automatic no reply message is sent that you checked up on him.

You open your late grandfather’s profile and see that 34 people have remembered him. You also then press the remember button making it 35.

You continue checking how your friends and family are doing until you finish all in your list.

You open your profile and see that 13 people have already checked up on you. You update your status of how you are doing and after a few minutes, no reply messages start pouring in.

Wouldn’t this be a good future for your family and friends? Wouldn’t this build a sense of belonging for them? Wouldn’t this make their lives much better, just like you have always wanted?

The app is now available in app stores and if you would love to make this a reality for your friends and relatives, you can inbox me and I will guide you on how you can make it possible.

Volunteers needed ( Android users)

So I’m getting ready to publish my app on the Google Play Store, and Google now requires new developers to have a group of testers (12) to use the app for a short testing period before the app can go live.

Simp Of Human Progress (M)

So I’m getting ready to publish my app on the Google Play Store, and Google now requires new developers to have a group of testers (12) to use the app for a short testing period before the app can go live.

How it works is:

0.
