Liz Greene said, “Before I look at the synastry, I always check the individual charts first. The reason for this is you can’t put anything into a relationship except yourself.” This is a rule I abide by.

I start with the 4th and 12th houses first as generational trauma, family patterns, and traditions influence our relationships. The former shows safety and attachment and the latter indicates past lives and karma as well as fears, phobias, and dreams that are buried in the subconscious.

Parents are our first relationship role model so their marriage, the family system in general, and siblings are important. I always ask the client what they are wanting to find out but they oftentimes don’t know, are unsure, or afraid to say out loud. Therefore, I look for patterns that will trigger them that they may or may not be aware of.

The 3rd house represents siblings and the 11th house is colleagues and our social network. Those connections are just as important as family.

The 5th house is known as the house of dating, romance, and non-committed relationships (meaning no marriage or engagement), but this is also the house of children. Sometimes people come together just to have a child, but that doesn’t mean the union is meant to last. Many times the native may want children but the potential partner does not (even if they say they do).

Sex is another topic and is one of the causes for breakups and divorce. One person has a different sex-drive than the other. In the beginning, boning like bunnies is common but after a few months, things start to settle down and the “real” personalities come out. Sexual compatibility is very important to some folks.

The 6th house is not a “love house” but it’s the bridge between a “going with the flow” connection to a serious relationship or marriage. But this is the house most people skip. The 6th house rules health and that includes mental health. Many people don’t do the important inner work that will make them the best partner. Their issues are unhealed and this causes many breakups and divorces. Not only that, the 6th house shows how a person cooperates, what their daily habits are like, and that includes housekeeping. That’s another area where many couples are different. One person is messy and the other is not.

Obviously, the 7th and 8th houses are important. These houses alone would encompass a whole article on their own. But, here is one thing I pay attention to: if someone has no planets in the 7th but they do in the 8th, this tells me intimacy is more important than the relationship itself. This can be why a couple stays together when the connection is nothing but piss and shit — but the sex is amazing. For others, they rush into a serious relationship but don’t have the tools to establish a strong foundation. Thus, when the honeymoon period wears off or a crisis arises, the partnership crashes and burns very fast.

Lastly, transits are SUPER important because they are the basis of the relationship and often determine if it can really last long-term. I often see breakups when one or both partners are in a major transit such as Saturn Return. If they are close in age, they’re often navigating the same difficult transits at the same time and if no one is doing inner work, this can be a cause to breakup. There’s no maturity and/or emotional bandwidth to handle the depth of those transits together. I often ask the date and time of the actual meeting as that founding energy is also important.

We use the phrase “doing a 180” to describe a total life pivot. That’s the literal law of a circle. When you turn 180 degrees, you face the exact opposite direction. But this math isn’t just a weird coincidence. It’s the reality of how we change, how we learn, and how we move through the world.

Consider how those concepts intersect:

• A standard U.S. school year is 180 days.

• In geometry, a 180° angle points you in the exact opposite direction from where you started.

• In astrology, a 180° angle is called an opposition.

When a student steps into a classroom in August or September and walks out the next June, they have done a literal 180-day transformation and can move up to the next grade. The Universe demands the same time-frame. When a transit activates a chart opposition, it forces you to turn around and look at your shadow self. It’s an invitation to integrate the pieces of yourself that you’ve spent a lifetime running away from. Doing this heavy lifting usually involves going to therapy where, coincidentally, it takes roughly 180 days – about six months— to finally break the deep, childhood beliefs that have kept you stuck and stagnant.

If you commit to the hard work, you spend 180 days gathering evidence, testing new behaviors, and doing the heavy mental lifting required to make your brain “turn around.”

Many of my clients and followers tell me they hope a partner will change or go back to the person they were at the beginning, but that’s not how life works. Change is not an epiphany. He or she doesn’t wake up on a random Tuesday and decide to “change” because a partner is requiring or demanding it. The brain resists sudden turns because old habits are basically on auto-pilot.

When you sit in a therapist’s office or a classroom, you’re not just learning. You’re forcing a stubborn brain to steer away from everything it's used to. By day 180, you look out at the world from an entirely different view. Think about how a teacher builds a curriculum. You don’t learn algebra in one day. You start with basic math where you get confused, make mistakes, find it really hard, fail a few quizzes — but with practice you get better at it.

Here’s how this works:

• Day 1-60: This is the “syllabus week” where you identify the trauma.

• Day 61-120: This is the “midterms” where you test new boundaries and gather proof that your way of thinking no longer serves.

• Day 121-180: This is the “final exam” where the new way of thinking becomes permanent and graduation happens.

Consider how a limiting belief operates: “If I express my true needs, I will be rejected.”

This is a lifelong survival strategy that the brain views as an absolute truth. Attempting to change it through sheer willpower or during a single weekend workshop makes you feel completely freaked out and triggered.

During the first couple of months of therapy, the initial attempts to speak up feel terrifying. The heart races, guilt surfaces, and the brain screams that danger is imminent. This is your brain trying to pull you back into the exact same rut you've been in for years.

By months 3 and 4, the predicted catastrophe doesn’t happen. Relationships shift, boundaries are respected, and the brain begins collecting real proof that contradicts the old fear.

Finally, during months 5 and 6, speaking up becomes an automated response rather than an existential crisis. The old ways of being have faded because you stopped using it, and the new ways have taken over. By Day 180, you’re still the same person but you’ve changed direction.

True change requires a helper – the calming presence of a therapist, guide, or mentor. Just like a student needs a teacher to keep them on track for the 180 days of the school year, you need someone to help spot your blind spots, calm you down when you freak out, and keep you steady while you’re changing your life around. Pro-athletes have a coach, musicians have teachers, and addicts have sponsors.

We all need a guide to help us see what we can’t see on our own.

What I have to remind my clients is you can’t expect people to change entirely on their own, especially when you consider how long that turnaround actually takes. It’s a slow six-month process at minimum. And honestly, how can you expect someone else to change in a heartbeat when you know how difficult it is to change yourself?

If you’ve ever tried to break a single bad habit, change your sleep schedule, or shift your insecurities, you know you can’t just flip a switch and it’s done. Yet, when a partner, a parent, or a friend does something frustrating, we expect them to snap their fingers and become someone else. We treat our own flaws like deep, complicated battles, but we treat theirs like simple choices.

If you can’t turn your own life around in an instant without time, help, or practice, you can’t demand it from someone else. Realizing how hard it is to change forces us to be humble. It reminds us that everyone around us is dealing with the exact same stubborn brain. And if they choose to change, they need 180 days of patience, grace, and support just like we do.

This brings us to the uncomfortable truth of the healing journey – understanding the math is easy, but actually doing the work is terrifying because it requires an ego death.

When we look at why people stay stuck – why they don’t want to go to therapy, ignore transits, or repeat the same painful patterns – it’s rarely due to a lack of desire. It’s because staying unhealed offers a powerful, hidden, psychological protection that our subconscious is terrified to lose.

Chronic pain and limiting beliefs often come with hidden perks. Staying stuck gives us a valid excuse to avoid accountability and blame our circumstances instead of taking control of our lives. Sometimes, our wounds are the main way we get attention, sympathy, and comfort from the people around us.

My cousin is a hypnotherapist and she has often said the brain prefers a familiar hell over an unfamiliar heaven. Living with old pain for so long eventually turns it into your whole identity. Healing feels like a crisis because it forces you to face the terrifying question, “Who am I if I’m no longer the victim of this story?

For a deeply wounded nervous system, trying to heal and failing is far more painful than just accepting things the way they are – even if they’re miserable. Staying stuck acts like armor to protect you from the sting of getting your hopes up.

Healing work changes your whole world and everyone in it. Oftentimes, doing a 180 means completely outgrowing your family, your friends, and your partner. This is why people who enter into therapy will usually quit around month two or three. Their brain tells them it’s better to stay broken and belong than to heal and face the unknown without the people around them – even if they are toxic and dysfunctional. In other words, people will halt their own healing to avoid the terrifying reality of being ostracized by the people they love.

This exact same rule explains why pop astrology doesn’t always land. We’ve all seen the viral videos, posts, or generic horoscopes making sweeping promises like, “This transit is going to be life-changing for all (insert zodiac sign here).” Then, the transit passes, nothing happens for the vast majority of people, and astrology is written off as fake.

Tomorrow is the Total Solar Eclipse in Leo at 20° which is a South Node eclipse. This means the focus is entirely on karma, destiny, and the heavy relationships that define our evolution.

Eclipses act like wildcards in astrology but when one involves the South Node, the Universe isn’t just turning a page – it’s closing a big chapter. In Leo, this energy is loud, dramatic, and and very personal. The South Node represents what we’re outgrowing, what we’re clearing out, and the karmic baggage we can no longer carry. When it collides with a Solar Eclipse – traditionally a time of new beginnings – we get a chaotic paradox: karmic relationships are both starting and ending all at once.

During this transit, don’t expect quiet transitions.

Relationships that have run their course will end abruptly. If a partnership has been draining your identity or demanding too much of you, the South Node will gently (or harshly) remove it. These endings are a release form.

On the other hand, some of you are going to meet someone new and it’s going to feel magnetizing and “fated.” The connection can feel instantly familiar, and there’s and immediate, intense bond.

• The “Love Bombing” Spectacle: Watch out for over-the-top, cinematic grand gestures that happen too fast. Now let’s get into it…

The Nodes just went into Aquarius-Leo last Sunday, July 26, so what does that mean for partnerships? The South Node acts like a cosmic vacuum for relationship drama, forcing us to release old, limiting, ego-based patterns when it comes to matters of the heart. I suspect with Jupiter in Leo that there will be an uptick in karmic babies – maybe more so than we saw with Jupiter in Cancer. When Jupiter conjuncts the South Node for roughly 7 months, it will highlight fertility themes, “creative urges,” if you catch my drift, and the arrival of major karmic contracts.

Everyone knows that Mercury and Venus Retrograde brings back exes but the pop astrologers aren’t mentioning that the same thing will happen with the South Node in Leo. It will pull people back towards familiar, past-life patterns where attention, validation, and pride were central themes. And even if it’s not an ex, it’s likely someone who “seems” new but is from a previous lifetime where there’s unfinished business that needs to be addressed. These kinds of relationships often start with a lot of passion and intensity but they will quickly decline into dramatic power struggles.

As a collective, we will be tested to see if we will fall back into old patterns of codependency or evolve into Aquarius independence. In other words, stop looking to a partner (or a relationship) for validation, obsessing how a connection looks to society, and using drama and chaos as a way to connect to treating a partner like an equal, focus on how the relationship dynamic actually functions, and using healthy communication to forge a connection.

Now, let’s discuss those karmic babies.....

There is a major misconception in the spiritual community that “karmic” means bad and a “soulmate” or “Twin Flame” means a happy endings.

Let me set the record straight – EVERYONE we meet is karmic. Every. Single. Person. It doesn’t matter if you talked to them for five minutes or were married to them for 50 years. Each person we meet is a mirror, reflecting your own energy back to you. They are all here to help your soul evolve.

Whenever I mention a “karmic baby” boom, this is about a specific, high-stakes soul lesson. You hear many people say all the time that babies are a “blessing,” but all you parents out there might disagree with that if you’ve experienced a “difficult” child. Many people who grew up with unhealed parents (myself included) know that’s not a reality.

When a child is born to parents who haven’t addressed their own childhood wounds, that child is often labeled as “difficult,” “rebellious” (the one my own mother used), and “broken.” The truth is, the child isn’t difficult at all – they are simply reflecting the unhealed trauma of the parent(s). In my case, I was a sexual abuse survivor while my mother was a victim. She would never talk about what happened to her and was very uncomfortable when I shared my story. She sided with my abuser and that was what ended our relationship – although I was blamed for my inability to “just get over it.”

Karmic babies are often born to parents where one or both partners have completely ignored their own childhood wounds, generational trauma, and shadow sides. These pregnancies often happen under unstable conditions – one night stands, casual hookups, or whirlwind romances that are under six months.

I also need to make it clear that just because a couple as survived the one-year mark or has been together for years, that they are somehow “safe” from these karmic lessons. Let me VERY clear – Time does not equal healing. My parents were married for 4 years before I came along. You can be married or in a relationship for 5 years, 10 years, or even longer but if neither partners has done any kind of shadow work, the foundation is not on steady ground.

I have often said that people get married for the wrong reasons and they stay together for the wrong reasons. Money, children, insurance are just some of the excuses I hear but it’s more familiarity, habit, comfort, or codependency. Therefore, a baby born into a long-term, unhealed relationship is just as karmic as as one born from a one-night stand. The child will still arrive as a cosmic mirror and instantly expose the cracks, unspoken resentments, and buried trauma that their parents spent years pretending weren’t there. Karmic babies aren’t fairy-tale miracles sent to magically fix a broken dynamic. More often than not, they’re born into specific environments designed to force painful soul growth.

The Universe does not care about the date of your anniversary. It cares about the state of your evolution.

The Leo South Node energy will trick people into wanting the idea of a baby (the praise, the legacy, the trophy) without being ready for the deeply humbling, identity-shattering reality of raising a child. (Not to mention how expensive it is). Which brings up another point – and many are not going to like this.

Leo rules the 5th house of children. You know what else Leo rules? Royalty and elite. And once upon a time, children were a luxury for the rich. Historically, only the royal classes and the wealthy could truly afford to treat babies as “blessings” or extensions of their legacy. They had access to doctors, better sanitation, and clean environments. Ironically, the wealthy also had access to early forms of birth control and family planning.

For the “regular” folks, the 5th house was far from romantic. They had far more children then they could afford because birth control was non-existent. Mothers and babies routinely died in childbirth. Due to rampant disease, many babies did not live past the age of two. Children were treated as labor and survival insurance, not romanticized “blessings.”

Doesn’t this all sound familiar? Aren’t we pretty much in this situation now?

This isn’t a fleeting energy. Because of Jupiter’s retrograde cycle, this transit is structured like a heavy-hitting, three-band festival lineup spanning late 2026 through next spring. Pay close attention to these dates:

• October 30-Dec. 29, 2026: This is when the energy activates and the “ghosts of relationships past” will start knocking.

• November 12, 2026: Jupiter and the South Node make their first exact conjunction at 25° Leo. Expect major relationship turning points or sudden, unexpected pregnancy announcements, engagements, or just exes coming back.

• Feb. 22, 2027: The second band comes on stage at 20° Leo while Jupiter is retrograde. The Universe forces you to look backward and review the relationship choices you made in late 2026.

• April 23, 2027: The opening band takes the stage with the third and final exact conjunction at 17° Leo. The final karmic contracts are signed, sealed, and delivered. For the ones who did the work, you can get in your car and go home. But for the ones who refused to heal, you will go backstage and double down on the drama to repeat the karmic loop with a new partner.

One thing I did not see any astrologer mention was Juno was also part of the Barbault Basket. She is at 4° Aquarius and is currently conjunct Pluto and opposing Jupiter.

Relationships are about to get really intense and serious. This is not a “hearts and flowers” transit. It’s an all-or-nothing soul-merging, soul-baring energy that demands complete authenticity in terms of relationships.

Juno rules marriage, contracts, and long-term commitment. Pluto is the planet of death and rebirth. When they dance together, casual dating goes out the window. Situationships and karmic connections begin to crumble.

Transiting Pluto conjunct Juno forces is to look at the shadow sides of our commitments.

Are you settling out of fear? Is there a healthy balance of power? Are you truly aligned with your partner or is their imbalance?

The toxic traps in this transit are obsessive or paranoid thoughts about your partner, power struggles, control issues, staying in a toxic connection because it feels like “fate.”

Intensely does not always mean healthy.

If a connection survives this transit, it’s either unbreakable or it’s a deep karmic soul contract that can’t end until the debt has been paid back.

EVERYONE has this transit in their Solar Return chart but not each person will have it in a relationship house (5/7/8/11). If that’s you, BUCKLE UP as your partnerships are about to go through a massive, fated evolution this year.

If it’s in the 12th house, that means a secret relationship (likely from a past life) is coming in to show you that shadow work needs to be done in how you love.

Jupiter is currently in Leo which governs the 5th house of romance and casual dating. This is the planet of growth and expansion. Therefore, and relationship issue will be blown out of proportion. Whatever you’ve been trying to ignore or sweep under the rug will turn into something so big, you’re forced to deal with it.

Leo wants approval, validation, and romance. Aquarius wants independence, detachment, and the unconventional. The clash is about wanting to be fierce and independent while feeling the intense pressure to conform to a relationship or contract.

The Barbault Basket or Cradle is happening right now and it’s named after the late French astrologer Andre Barbault. This “basket-shaped” alignment involves slow-moving outer planets – Jupiter in Leo, Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius – and they’re all at 4° of their respective signs. I want to point out that this is not a single, fleeting event but rather a major two-year catalyst that for irreversible spiritual awakenings, technological breakthroughs, and deep structural societal changes. There are many articles you can find about what Barbault predicted and why but I want to approach it from a different angle.

Our culture is obsessed with finding an escape hatch. Pop astrologers on Threads and TikTok have been selling the Barbault Basket as a mystical, magical “reset” – like a cosmic fairy godmother coming with a magic wand to fix your life and the world. That is the ultimate spiritual gaslighting.

The world is actually falling apart with authoritarian leaders who should be behind bars, human and reproductive rights being systematically stripped away, people being murdered in the streets by “governmental” agents who are no more than bullies with small packages. Meanwhile, people are drowning in inflation, not able to pay basic bills while groceries and rent continue to skyrocket.

A transit is not a rescue mission. Outer planets do not care about human comfort. They operate on centuries-long timelines to enforce massive endings which force evolutionary shifts. You may have heard me say many times that humans are not wired for change – even when it’s good for us. This is why the next two years can feel like a slow-motion car crash. If people think they’re feeling the economic pinch right now, they’re not prepared for what’s going to happen next.

The Universe is not turning over a new leaf; it’s turning off the life support of a dying system. The planetary pressure cooker is about to explode and no one is coming to save us.

Let’s break down the planets involved to see what we can expect:

• Jupiter in Leo (The Rise of the Demagogue): The internet is treating this like a big, joyful, cosmic party filled with love, luck, and overnight fame. But the dark reality is Leo rules the ego and Jupiter expands whatever it touches. This transit inflates toxic narcissism and main-character syndromes (It’s all about me!). It’s not bringing a savior; it elevates loud, theatrical, arrogant egomaniacs who treat global crises as backdrops for personal branding. It fuels a culture with a dog-and-pony show to distract us while out rights burn away.

• Pluto in Aquarius (Power vs. The Algorithmic State): Astrology influencers claim this brings “power to the people.” The reality is the rise of cold, calculating, corporate-backed ivory tower rule. This placement represents extreme technological surveillance, the weaponization of artificial intelligence, and the death of traditional privacy. Pluto dismantles power structures from the inside out; it means watching the absolute decay of our institutions before any new collective model can even be conceptualized.

• Neptune in Aries (Ideological Blindness & Delusion): Rather than the promised “global spiritual awakening,” Neptune entering Fire signs historically unleashes widespread collective delusion and radical fanaticism. It breeds mass propaganda, and a society driven by blind, emotional extremism. It causes people to fiercely follow corrupt figures because they are desperate for an idealized savior.

• Uranus in Gemini (Information Warfare & Fractured Reality): This is not a transit of “brilliant communication breakthroughs.” Uranus in this sign fractures the collective intellect. Expect a completely shattered media landscape, hyper-polarized public discourse, and sophisticated fakers that make objective truth impossible to find. It represents a chaotic, unstable mental environment where society can no longer agree on basic facts.

Even though Saturn and Chiron are not a part of this configuration, let’s look at what their most recent transits are going to do:

• Saturn in Aries (The Heavy Hand of Authoritarianism): Saturn represents structure, boundaries, and limitation. In the aggressive sign of Aries, it manifests as the literal policing of individual autonomy. It’s the astrological footprint of legal oppression, the tightening grip of state power, and the forced restriction of personal freedom – all of which perfectly mirror the ongoing rollback of civil and bodily rights.

• Chiron in Taurus (The Systematic Strangulation of Daily Survival): Chiron entered Taurus for a preview in 2026 and will slip back into that sign for a longer 7-year stay in April, 2027. Taurus rules the absolute basics of human survival – money, agriculture, supply chains, and real estate. (Yes, Cancer rules real estate but that’s the actual home; Taurus rules the land the house sits on). Chiron is the Wounded Healer which means it exposes systemic vulnerabilities by aggravating the wound. If you look at the tariffs and trade policies put in place by Donald Trump, those are the textbook manifestation of Chiron in Taurus. Tariffs choke the supply chains, skyrocket the cost of everyday goods, and bring about aggressive inflation.

I hate to be the bearer or bad news but if people are already struggling to buy groceries and pay the rent, this is not rock bottom. It absolutely astounds me that people are having babies and/or contemplating that in the coming years. The dark reality of this transit is a multi-year audit of global capitalism. Even if Donald Trump doesn’t make it through the whole 4 years, the collective will still be forced with systemic greed, scarcity, and financial survival fear. I’ve been seeing far too many posts and Reels about “voting them all out” which we’re beyond at this point. The illusion that a single party or politician will bring on a sudden correction and save the consumer purchasing power is completely asinine.

Retrograde season is upon us. Juno went retrograde on June 5 and Mercury went retrograde on June 29. We have a Venus Retrograde coming in the fall. So what does that mean? BREAKUP SEASON IS HERE!

Before you @ me, it depends on your own individual chart, however I’m starting a series on Breakup Transits. Some info will be free and others will be for my paid members only.

I wrote an article last year about how relationships have changed, particularly in the past 50-60 years yet we as a society are still sticking to old, antiquated ways when it comes to partnership and marriage. The outer planets have something to do with this. They are trying to get us to shift our perspective in that area and while there has been some changes recently, we still have a long way to go. Many people aren’t going willingly.

I have said many times that we humans aren’t wired for change and that’s because we don’t like endings and fear the unknown. But just because a relationship or marriage ended doesn’t mean the partners failed. To assume that a breakup or divorce is inherently “bad” represents a problematic ideal because not all relationships are meant to be saved.

At the end of the day, all the astrological information I have doesn’t tell me the whole story, no matter how many questions I ask at the intake. I don’t know how much healing work has really been done, how they’ve handled similar transits in the past, what their family dynamics are, their religious views, or how important society plays in their decisions. If you’re a regular client, I can still be wrong even if I think I know you.

As Lenny Kravitz said, “it ain’t over til it’s over.” But most people who get a reading from me are already at the brink of a breakup so the series of posts and articles will be from the perspective that “we are never ever ever getting back together.”

I always tell my clients and followers to get a Transit Reading. Knowing what the outer planets are doing to your Moon, Venus, and Mars is important when it comes to breakups. It doesn’t necessarily mean the end but those transits will create challenges that are either already present or bring new ones.

My private readings will tell you what those challenges are, how to navigate them, and give you the keys to unlock any blockages. Oftentimes that involves doing shadow work which many people aren’t so keen on. But if we could all solve our issues, relationships wouldn’t be as screwed up as they are.

My job isn’t to tell you a breakup is not n the horizon. My job is to warn of the possibilities, help you understand the value in a breakup with a karmic partner, and what the process means for you.

Chiron enters Taurus tomorrow – June 19 – and is bringing new lessons (and possibly new traumas) to the collective in the areas of money, security, stability, and food/diet/weight. Chiron in astrology is known as The Wounded Healer, and represents our karmic, primal wounds – the one that never seems to go away, no matter how much healing work has been done. You can find out what your wounds are by looking at where Chiron is placed in your chart by house and sign. Then you deal with patterns, behaviors, and themes that keep repeating and keep you stuck and stagnant. Whenever Chiron is activated by transits, we often experience things that force us to face what needs healing in order to move forward in life. EVERYONE has to go through these experiences and they often shake you to the core in order to wake you up. Many people try to ignore them by self-medicating but are often unsuccessful.

Chiron was discovered on Nov. 1, 1977 by American astronomer Charles T. Kowal from photos that were shot at Palomar Observatory in San Diego, CA. At first, this was classified as a minor planet, and then an asteroid. It has a highly elliptical orbit that spans 50 years and goes between Saturn and Uranus. It moves quickly through some signs like Virgo and Libra but takes its sweet time in Aries and Pisces.

The good news (if you want to call it that) is Chiron only stays at 0° during his brief stay in Taurus during 2026, which ends on Sept. 17 when he retrogrades back into Aries. He goes back into the sign of the Bull on April 14, 2027 and remains there until 2034. This is just a preview but what a preview it will be!

We’ve already seen a glimpse of what’s to come with Trump America but even if there was a different President, there would still be economic issues facing everyone on this planet in some way. Chiron in Taurus has to do with themes of not having enough and understanding what real security is.

I’m known to be a “fear-mongerer” but I like to call myself a “real” astrologer. I don’t blow fairy dust up anyone’s ass with promises of luck, abundance, and love just because of a certain transit. The astrology for the past 6 years has been challenging and 2025 and 2026 are shit. There’s no other way to say it so why should I try to fake it? I DO offer hope and words of wisdom when a person purchases a private reading. This is not about making money (although this is how the rent is paid) but EVERYONE’s chart is different so while one person may have a lucky transit, another person may not. This is why I don’t give generalized readings on any of my pages. I need to see the whole chart.

With that being said, I’m going to be completely honest and tell you we’re heading for a Recession and lots of people are going to be hurting financially. But if we look back at other times in history when Chiron was in Taurus, the same thing has happened.

The Great Depression began after Black Tuesday – Oct. 29, 1929 – when the stock market crashed, and this lasted 10 years which was loooong after the transit ended. The crash wiped out $30 billion from the New York Stock Exchange which was ten times the amount of the annual budget of the federal government at that time.

Chiron was next in Taurus from 1976-1984, and Saturn was doing a bit too much during that time. There was a conjunction to Pluto, squares with Uranus, Neptune, and Chiron. Uranus opposed Chiron and both squared the Nodes.

This was a time of great economic instability that followed the post-war boom which ended in the early 70’s. The economy was still struggling when this transit began and the oil crisis of 1979 led to a drop in oil production and a rise in prices following the Iranian Revolution. The Iran-Iraq War started in 1980 which triggered a worldwide recession in the early 80’s (sound familiar?) and this caused an oil surplus due to falling demand and oil prices collapsed in 1982.

President Jimmy Carter issued a grain embargo against the USSR in response to their invasion of Afghanistan. This led to a drop in grain prices and protests by farmers. This conflict benefited Ronald Reagan who became President later that year and he ended the embargo in 1981.

Astrology has shown in recent months that history repeats but not exactly in the ways that it did before. This is not my area of expertise so I’ll leave the global predictions to others. I will say that I’ve seen many astrologers say get familiar with your money and where it’s going, learn how to invest it (that doesn’t necessarily mean the stock market), start growing your own food or become familiar with your local farmer’s market. I have a street fair every Friday night just a block from my house. I thought it was just local vendors and food but they actually have a farmer’s market area with fruits, veggies, eggs, honey, and I think I even saw bread there last week.

Speaking of food, astrologers seem to be mixed on weight loss and the GLP-1 medications. There have been some who say we’re going to go back to super skinny bodies like what happened in the early 80’s. But there are others who are saying that thicker bodies are going to be more popular because people won’t have easy access to the weight loss drugs like they did in the past.

Taurus is a slow-moving sign and isn’t into the fast and easy way but my opinion seems to be that if you’re taking those drugs to try to look thinner/prettier/sexier than that will be exposed. Many GLP-1 medications are used to treat other health issues such as diabetes and PCOS (just to name a few) and those are legit reasons to be on those shots. But I do think that people need to be more mindful of how they treat their bodies in terms of what they eat and how much they work.

My opinion is that you should listen to what your body says. Eat what it tells you and sleep when you need to. I’m neurodivergent and everything my doctor tells me to do doesn’t work. Vegetables highly irritate my stomach. Caffeine does the opposite. I’m a night owl and I can’t seem to get to sleep before 3AM. I’ve tried to change it and I gave up. It is what it is.

I need to stress the importance of getting a Transit Reading. There are going to be some people who will experience a windfall of sorts but not know how to handle the responsibility. Fortunes will be won and lost, and some people will get a handle on their financial situation while others will have difficulty managing it.

Many of my clients and followers are part of the Chiron in Taurus generation, and money, self-worth, and karmic relationships are huge themes. Venus rules Taurus so all of these are intertwined and settling is commonplace because it feels “safe.” Childhood was difficult due to one or both parents not being around, they were in and out of jobs, food was scarce, or there were other things going on in the home that made the native not feel safe or secure. (This is why looking at that 4th house of home and family is very important). Many people in this generation don’t actually feel settled even if they have everything they need and oftentimes they’re afraid they’re going to lose it all or it will be taken away.

The Chiron in Taurus generation are people who know how to find solid ground in unstable conditions. Since Taurus is a Fixed sign, change is difficult so even when presented with evidence that a certain situation is not serving, they still cling with bloody knuckles. One of my astrology books says the finality of death bothers them on a soul level so they have issues with endings as a whole. They don’t like to make concrete decisions or changes that would significantly affect their life because they fear the future. As a result, many people in the Chiron in Taurus generation suffer from anxiety and depression.

This is a generation who works very hard to get (and keep) what they have. That security is very important to them but they don’t really feel safe or enjoy it once they get it. They always feel like the other shoe is going to drop which is why many of the readings I do for women in this generation seems to center around if the other person is going to leave.

But Chiron does not want them to always struggle. Chiron doesn’t want any of us to struggle. Too many people associate him with pain and hurt so they don’t want to do the healing part. But Chiron is so much more than that. The wounds are a part of you but they don’t define you. There is wisdom and knowledge when you embrace a healing journey that you can pass on to other people. It’s not a coincidence that the symbol for Chiron is a key. It opens the door to a better life and to peace within your soul. But most people go through life blaming others for their problems seemingly unaware that they’re the common denominator. cue Taylor Swift song here – It’s Me, I’m the problem, it’s Me! They don’t seem to understand that the reason why patterns keep repeating, relationships don’t get better, and they can’t move forward in life is because they’re not addressing their inner wounds and paying off karmic debt.

Healing the Chiron wound helps us see those patterns more clearly. It shows us what we try to hide because we’re afraid of being rejected. It also shows what our triggers are but if we are able to embrace healing, we can change the narrative and no longer be stuck in our old ways. We can unlock the door and find more joy and expansion.

Right now, the planet is in a state of turmoil. There are too many people, we are drained and burned out, and our wounds are playing out on a much larger scale. Ancestral trauma is a real thing and it comes back with a fury each time a new generation is born. Honestly, we are a planet in pain and there are still far too many people who think there’s nothing wrong and refuse to do any inner work.

In order to change the narrative, deep healing must take place. We can’t think our way out of pain. There is no magic pill or magical transit that’s going to make everything better. It’s ego talking to think that we can intellectualize or assume the pain will go away if we just ignore it. Chiron reminds us that healing is a process.

If you were born May 29-Oct. 13, 1976 or March 29-April 16, 1977 – WELCOME TO CHIRON RETURN!! I could do a whole class on this transit by itself but I’ll just say that if you have embraced a healing journey, it’s not as bad as Saturn Return or Saturn Square. You can be a master of your Chiron wound and possibly willing to help others who have the same one. But that’s totally dependent on your free will.

Let’s talk about this Venus-Jupiter conjunction happening today. It’s being touted by the pop astrologers as a lucky or auspicious day but the part they’re not mentioning of leaving out (probably because they don’t know) is that these planets are squaring the dwarf planet, Eris in Aries. Therefore, I don’t think those high expectations are going to be realized.

In mythology, Eris is known as the Goddess of Strife and Discord. According to legend, she was the only immortal not invited to a wedding and she showed up anyway and threw a golden apple at Hera, Aphrodite, and Athena who were fighting over a man. This was one of the events that led to the Trojan War.

Currently, more and more women are recognizing that they don’t need — much less want — a man. Eris created “chaos” by choosing herself over what the other women were wanting, which was acceptance by a man. (To me, throwing the golden apple is akin to the bride throwing the bridal bouquet. “Who’s going to be the next one to get married?”)

Right now, there is “chaos” as men cry about the Male Loneliness Epidemic which they created! But instead of looking at themselves and wanting to do better, it’s women’s fault for not conforming to their standards. These pop astrologers are talking about finding love and money but not one that I saw mentioned doing that for yourself. They didn’t say you needed a man either but the inference was there. Aren’t we past that in 2026?

Let’s not forget Mercury in Cancer is squaring Saturn in Aries today. The Moon is in Aries too. Eris is also in Aries. This energy doesn’t exactly scream “luck” and “abundance.” Plus, a conjunction means you plant the seeds and reap the rewards later — not today. But the pop astrologers aren’t mentioning that part.

There is no “magical” transit that’s going to make life better. That’s all on you. Shadow work and self-reflection are the keys to making that happen. If there was a magic pill to take or a magic wand I could wave to make everyone’s problems disappear, I’d be a gazillionaire.

But that’s not how it works.

We’re all here to learn certain lessons. And those are all in your birth chart. The transits just show you when those lessons are coming up. I don’t understand why people don’t get that. When you get in the car and you don’t know where you’re going, what’s the first thing you do? Put the address into the GPS. Same principle applies here.

Stop flying blind.

You can find love. Or get money. When you do the work. And know your transits.

Mars moved into Taurus on May 18 and will shift into Gemini on June 28. Many astrologers will say that Mars is in detriment in this sign because he’s in dignity in the sign of Scorpio. But what the pop astrologers don’t say is Mars is not all the comfortable in this sign – in fact, he’s downright miserable. This is due to information that only advanced astrology peeps know – and that’s Mars is peregrine in all but the last 4 degrees in Taurus.

Peregrine is a term that is used in classical astrology and is part of essential dignities which is largely forgotten or misunderstood by most modern astrologers. Thanks to Jamie Miller of Pandora Astrology, I was taught and I’m able to explain it (maybe not as well as she did) to my followers. I don’t want to get too technical and confuse everyone so I’ll try to keep it as simple as I can. Many of you may be familiar with the terms “exaltation,” “detriment,” and “fall.” But you may not have heard of “peregrine,” “face,” “term,” or “triplicity.” The use of essential dignities predates the discovery of the outer planets by almost two thousand years so are only used on the Sun through Saturn.

A peregrine planet basically means it’s “wandering.” It has no strength or talent but doesn’t have any debilitations either. It’s less predictable and this isn’t necessarily a bad thing – nothing in astrology is – and it doesn’t mean the planet can’t express itself. However, a peregrine planet does take the scenic route, hence the term “wandering.”

I need to emphasize that if you have a planet in your natal chart that’s in it’s fall, in detriment, or peregrine, it’s not a bad thing. It doesn’t mean you will have a bad experience or have challenges. My Mercury is in Cancer which is peregrine and it has not been tough or demanding. If anything, it helps explain my neurodivergence (along with other placements in my chart).

ADHD is common in those who have Gemini and Sagittarius stelliums or when Mercury is afflicted (making hard aspects to other planets). Mutable signs are all connected by a square so Virgo and Pisces count too. But Gemini is the main culprit because it rules the mind and the nervous system.

For example, when Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, or the Moon are in Gemini or Sagittarius (and they’re making an aspect to each other), that’s when a neurodivergent pattern is more apparent.

I’m mainly talking about planets and signs but if you want to bring in the houses, that would be 3/6/9/12. Those are the houses governed by the Mutable signs.

I find when it comes to autism, the above can apply but Uranus and Aquarius placements are quite prominent, and aspects to the Moon and Mercury make that more so. For houses, that would be the 11th house.

I did a post on Threads a few months ago about placements that I thought showed a touch of the ‘tism and I don’t think I had one single person disagree.

I’m not a mental health professional so I can’t diagnose. These are simply observations I have made from reading hundreds and hundreds of charts over 25+ years. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.

People ask me all the time what the key is to a successful relationship. There’s no “secret.” It’s knowing yourself and the best way to do that is to know your birth chart. Notice I said KNOW IT, not memorize it. There’s a difference. Only when you know what your wants, needs, and desires are can you connect successfully with another person. Especially when their wants, needs, and desires are different from yours. People tend to blame relationship differences on their partners but the real issue is not knowing yourself or denying who you are.

No matter who your parents, other family members, friends, partners, lovers, teachers, bosses, co-workers, colleagues, etc. want you to be or think you are, YOU are YOU. Not only is it ok to be who you are, but it’s the only way to be truly happy in this thing called Life. I know it sounds cliche but as a life coach, I find many of my clients try so hard to mold themselves into a version of who their parents or society wants them to be. Or they bend themselves into a pretzel trying to please a man.

From an astrological perspective, there are 10 planets (and Chiron who I deem very important, but is not technically a planet), an Ascendant, Elements, and Modalities. All of this information is extremely important. Because it’s not just what your chart says but also what’s missing that helps you understand who you are.

My partner has no Water in his personal planets, and his mother doesn’t either. I have a Cancer stellium so of course he was attracted to me. Water is intuition. It’s emotional impulse. And he doesn’t have either when it comes to going after what he wants. In other words, he doesn’t have a “gut” feeling. He’s all Earth/Fire/Air so he’s a high-performance machine with no internal navigation system. He’s very down-to-Earth but other people who lack Water can simply ghost or seem to have no empathy. If they’re not familiar with their chart (or if this is you), that behavior is very hurtful, right?

This is why knowing yourself first is so important. When you know and understand YOU, it’s apparent that there’s nothing wrong with you. There are no “bad” charts or “bad” aspects. Everyone is ok just as they are. But you don’t have to put up with bad behavior — and vice-versa. Oil and water don’t mix so it’s important to know when to bail so time isn’t wasted. This is why I say getting a synastry reading before things get serious is the right way to go.

When you have that information beforehand, you’re in a better position to know whether a potential relationship will be a hit or miss. Sometimes there’s an important soul lesson that needs to be learned, and you’ll move forward when the red flags are on fire — even when you know better. We’ve all been there.

It’s really not rocket science at all.

We are all given a choice when it comes to retrogrades or ANY challenging transit. We either choose to EVOLVE or remain STAGNANT. No matter what you choose, there’s always a test involved. And if you pass said test determines which path you’re on.

Therefore, texting an ex (or responding back to one) isn’t the greatest idea. The people who choose to return have a karmic lesson that needs to be learned so that chapter can close. Which means that ex coming back (or YOU reaching out to an ex) is fate.

But fate doesn’t always mean “meant to be” or “that’s your person.” That’s the part many people get confused. For some (although not many from what I’ve seen), getting back with an ex can lead to a deeper commitment. But for most, it’s the Universe testing you to see if you’re still stupid. You broke up for a reason and unless both parties have done shadow work, those reasons are still there.

Another analogy is electronic snafus. Some people handle them with grace and ease while others get really bent out of shape. How you navigate that situation on an emotional level determines if you level up. This doesn’t mean if you get all riled that you’ve failed. We all have bad days. But if you see that there are many Mercury-related hiccups happening, the Universe is trying to get your attention.

No matter the scenario, you will be rewarded if you pass the test. Some people need to return to an ex so they can finally see why that person isn’t good for them — even if they inherently know. There’s people out there who require more proof. But if you continuously fail, then that person will come back again, especially during retrograde season.

I often ask my clients and followers when they go back to an ex, “The Universe wants to know if you learned the lesson or are you just stuck on stupid?” It usually gets them to think twice but I have far too many who haven’t started a healing journey. And we know which path they end up on. So if you’re working on your childhood wounds and trauma, that person from your past gets smaller and smaller in the distance. You no longer vibrate on the same level. They become a fond memory from a time long, long ago.

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, let’s talk about love and marriage. People get married for different reasons. In the 21st century, it’s not just for love anymore. They do it to have a place to live, for security, money – and many of them may think they’re in love so those other reasons just ups the ante in terms of whether to get married. I do a lot of synastry readings and I find that oftentimes the client has fallen in love with someone who brings a lot of lack. But regardless of any subconscious feelings or hidden motives, most people get married because they feel like they love the other person.

What I see a lot of amongst my clients and followers is a lack of maturity when it comes to this subject. Love and marriage do not mean the same thing. Not every person you fall in love with is The One or that you have to force them into that position. Marriage is not hearts and flowers like the Hallmark channel and other movies make you believe. Younger people – and what I mean by that is anyone who hasn’t gone through Saturn Return yet – often think that marriage is just a continuation of the honeymoon stage or there will be regular sex. Older people aren’t necessarily off the hook either because I have clients 35+ who are still dealing with karmic partners while looking for that Disney movie Prince Charming.

Back in my mother’s day (which would be your grandmother’s), marriage counselors advised people to wait six months after meeting or getting engaged stepping into holy matrimony. Even my mother told me it was best to know someone “through all four seasons.” (That’s a year for people who may not know). My personal and professional opinion is two years is better. The reason for this is the ambassadors are the ones dating during the honeymoon stage (which lasts 3-4 months on average), and you need that amount of time to really see if the other person checks off most of your boxes.

I’m going to hold your bush when I say this – you don’t know a person after a week, or even 2-4 weeks so it’s not love. It’s lust. You need time to figure out if you have anything REAL in common with that other person other than chemistry in the bedroom. Are your personalities truly compatible? Are you on the same page in terms of getting married? What about kids? Do they want any? Do they have any? Do they want more? Are you on the same side POLITICALLY? (There’s no way I would ever share a bed with a MAGA dood). What about religion? Is it important? Will someone be expected to convert? And how do YOU feel about those questions?

All relationships require a little gambling. There’s a reason why the 5th house of romance, casual dating, and falling in love is in the same house as games of chance. The opposite house – the 11th – rules gain and losses as well as friendship. By understanding your birth chart – including the transits – and doing shadow work, you can greatly reduce the risk of bumping into another karmic partner.

As I said before, just because you fall in love with someone doesn’t mean they’re The One. I have been in love several times but none of them were my forever person. There’s a HUGE difference between being “in love” and having the kind of love required for marriage and a long-term commitment. I have a meme in my phone that says, “True love is built; it is not found.” But it goes beyond that. There has to be mutual respect, trust, honesty, communication, consideration, affection (and I don’t mean sex), sympathy, and companionship. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but passion fades – especially after children enter the picture – and hormones begin to drop off in the 40’s. Sometimes the Little Blue Pill doesn’t work no matter how high the dosage. At the end of the day, you want to know that this person you’re considering marrying has your back. ALL THE TIME. Do you see yourself sitting in a porch in rocking chairs, holding hands, looking at the sunset, and saying, “I would do it all over again.” If you can’t imagine or visualize that scene, then whoever you’re thinking of marrying is not The One.

A marriage requires a meeting of the body-mind-soul. Two people considering joining their life paths should have a lot of common characteristics and goals. I use the analogy of car buying when it comes to long-term relationships. Many ladies have a certain “model” in their mind such as safety, rating, and color. But oftentimes what happens is they want a family friendly 4-door sedan but end up driving off the lot in a cherry red sports car. Those are fun but they don’t really fit what they were originally looking for. The common sense thing to do is return the sports car but many ladies try to turn the Corvette into an SUV, and that’s when things fall apart.

One of my old astrology books written in the 1960’s says, “Love is an emotion, but marriage is not a purely emotional experience.” Two people have to learn how to adapt, understand, and cooperate with each other as well as respect their individual life paths. We can’t change anyone so if the other person has deal-breakers, then it would be in your best interest to let them go.

Marriage is a union of two individuals. This “you complete me” stuff (which thankfully isn’t as popular anymore) is utter rubbish. The rings are a symbol of two people coming together; not half a circle joining with another half. Both people are a part of the marriage and their unhealed childhood trauma also affects the union. This is where many relationship issues come into play. You don’t have relationship problems. You have unhealed childhood trauma disguising themselves as relationship problems.

There is a big difference between “young love” and what my mother called “elderly love.” People who are over 50 will marry for companionship, not necessarily love. They can also have mutual interests such as travel, hobbies, or just needing someone to drive them to the doctor. Many men in that age range have a deep fear of dying alone so they find a wife to be with in their golden years. This sounds very unromantic but when you get up there in age (like me), you’ll see that love and attraction is not as high on the list as it is when you’re in your 20’s and 30’s.

But regardless of physical attraction, romance, and other hallmark traits of what a relationship should be, how happy and successful it is depends on the partners’ healing journey. If one person has been to therapy and the other has not, problems arise. If both partners haven’t done a lick of shadow work, the relationship takes a karmic turn very fast. If they aren’t on the same page after 7-8 years (which is a whole Venus cycle and that’s another subject entirely), then it might be time to call it quits because you’ve learned everything you can from each other.

Divorce does not mean failure.

Look at the divorce statistics in this country. I asked AI what the numbers are and it’s surprisingly low because I’ve seen videos where divorce attorneys are saying it’s much higher. But according to ChatGPT, it’s 41% failure for first marriages, 60% for second marriages, and 73% for third marriages. I’m guessing the reason the numbers get higher is because people know they can just get a divorce if things don’t work out.

Let me put it to you this way. If I tell you that you have a 60% chance of getting hit by a Mac truck on your way to work, you likely will slow down and think about that a little. Maybe you’ll leave earlier or later, maybe you’ll put on a helmet, perhaps you’ll just stay home. But in spite of those statistics, I have so many women clients and followers running for the 7th house of marriage and partnerships with no real plan in place. Dating is a gamble but it’s much easier to get out of a relationship than a marriage.

I don’t want this to seem all doom and gloom but Saturn re-enters Aries on Feb. 13 at 4:11pm PST. I’m not even going to get into all the other transits so suffice it to say, it’s going to be a shitshow. Saturn is the planet of restriction, limitation, maturity, age, and KARMA. Aries rules the Self, independence, courage, and action.

What does that mean? Slow down and really start to think about your relationships and marriage in a much more serious manner. Maybe it’s time to choose yourself and focus on what YOU want rather than looking for a partner all the time. Really take some time to figure out what’s important to you in a relationship. What does marriage really mean to YOU? Who cares what your family, friends, and society says. What does your birth chart say?

There are 7 billion people on this planet and new ones are born every day. You won’t be lonely if you take a break.
