I live not far from a big city, and while these areas may be wooded and green, we often live a lifestyle which relegates the natural world to a view out of the car window, or a backdrop to a sports game, or the trees and shrubbery adorning our property. And thank goodness for it! It is definitely better than living in the concrete jungle, far above the earth. But we tend to think that we have conquered the earth, when in reality we are dependent on the earth, made from the same 115 elements, and it is stronger than us….think tornados and volcanos and earthquakes and the movement of tectonic plates over millenia. Close up the trees supply us with oxygen to breathe, and take CO2 out of the air. Water cycles provide us with rain and rivers and oceans. The earth provides food to eat, and all of this is interconnected in infinite ways. When you take the 10,000 ft view we see that it’s rotation determines our night and our day….the tilt of the earth determines our seasons. My point is…the earth is our home and our source/mother in the most important ways and must be respected and nurtured as we would our own gardens. We can’t afford to leave it’s care any more in the hands of those who only care how much money they can make from it and who often destroy it in the process.

Many of us understand the situation but feel powerless to do anything about it. However, there are many things we can do about it, and time is running short. I want to leave you with some thoughts and suggestions. One of the ways we can change things is through the power of the pocketbook, so to speak. That means to stop buying and giving our money to those who are not supporting the greater good. Did you know that there are 1500 unsafe ingredients that are banned in food in Europe but are allowed here? Some very bad substances to avoid are preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors and flavors and other chemical additives. Genetically modified foods are not natural for the human system and they don’t operate like real food and nourishment for the body. Since 1950 the protein across 43 food crops has decreased an average of 6%. There is also more starch and oil and less protein in the crops. When protein drops by only 1% in animal feed corn the animals suffer and additives have to be given to make up the difference. The same thing is happening in human food, and I believe the obesity crisis is largely caused by this disintegration of our food systems. Supplements help but they are only the band-aid on a larger problem. And most supplements are not natural either, but made in a lab.

Then of course there is the issue of herbicides and pesticides, which stay on the food, and disrupt all sorts of body functions, and really, are poisoning us slowly. Have you ever wondered why, after all the billions that have been spent on cancer research and other health issues, that our national health has not gotten better, but in fact has plummeted? These poisons are also killing our bees and other pollinators which are critical for successful crops,,,AKA our food supply!! This is why I recommend eating organic as much as possible, which guarantees non GMO food and natural non poisonous farming techniques. Next best is the Non-GMO label, which means not necessarily organic. Factoid: To be certified organic you must be using organic farming methods for at least five years….so many of these farmers are following organic principles but perhaps have not yet met the 5 yr threshold to be certified. Then stop buying flavored drinks, energy drinks and processed foods and other fake food. I want to interject here that the goal is not to be perfect, but to be conscious of what we are consuming, and those foods that are our guilty pleasure? and we all have them, make them an occasional treat instead of a daily indulgence. That goes for refined sugar and flour too! Limit these as much as possible. An easy way to start making the transition is when you grocery shop, try to find an organic version of what you normally buy.

To those of you who have a property, lawn or garden, please start using organic products on it. Any harmful substance we put on our garden goes into the water supply and poisons the earth, kills beneficial organisms, and degrades the soil over time, requiring ever more intervention. Home Depot is now selling organic products for your garden so that makes it easy. One Youtube video on organic gardening will tell you everything you need to know. What we are being called to do at this time is to take responsibility for what we are able to do and then to do it. No more sticking our heads in the sand hoping other people will fix it or that it will miraculously get better. We are the stewards of what we have authority over, and it is up to us to make the changes that we can make regardless of what others may be doing.

We are the ones we have been waiting for…….

They call it “The Hero’s Journey”, not ‘The Hero’s Destination” for a reason. We tend to think that it is all about the destination….and phrases like “keep your eyes on the prize” and “ live like you have what you want already” reinforce this. Not that these sayings are untrue or not valuable, but they take focus away from living the journey…which is the “now” moment. The now moment is where everything happens. Your goals give you a motive and a direction, but along the way we learn new things which give us more knowledge, and a different perspective as we change and grow. I know you have experienced changing your mind and your goals as you move through life, and this is natural. The problem arises when we are so invested in a particular way that we have become accustomed to, and we refuse to change when it clearly is necessary. The world around us moves and changes as well, and we need to be able to pivot to meet the new way. This generally becomes more difficult as we get older. We get set in our ways, as the saying goes. Change is uncomfortable and upsetting by it’s very nature, and the more comfortable we are, the less we are inclined to want to change. This is in the natural way of things, and follows the cycles of our lives and everything in it. If you are comfortable and your life is exactly the way you want it, you are truly blessed! Carry on with your bad self!!

There are others of us that are unsettled at a deep level about the way things are. It may be dissatisfaction with the “authority structure”, or it may be something in our personal lives that isn’t working any more, or both. This dissatisfaction is a prompting from our soul that we need to look further into this subject and determine what it is and how to deal with it. These feelings are being amplified by the Ascension process we are all experiencing including the earth herself, as we go from 3D consciousness to 4D and 5D consciousness. We are being asked to re-evaluate many things in our lives, and to leave behind the things, situations and people that no longer resonate for us, and to embrace, without fear, a new direction.

There are big changes coming in the near future that will be challenging and I want to help you by raising your awareness about being flexible and resourceful in the days to come. Loosen your grip on needing things to stay the way they are, or you will not be able to move forward. These changes are inevitable, but it is up to us as to how we deal with them. This will reveal our own hero’s journey to ourselves. Will we be true to our values? Will we treat others as we would wish to be treated? Will we persevere when things get tough and still remain optimistic? Will we let love conquer fear? This is the way to ride the wave……

I always like to end with some actionable advice. Think about what you would need in the event of a prolonged electric outage…..batteries, generator, solar, candles, ready made food like soup, tuna, etc. Think about the food shortages that they say are coming….stock up on staples like rice and beans and pasta, canned foods, etc. as well as medications and first aid items, and pet food! Think about a “go bag” if you live in a place where you may have to make an emergency exit because of earthquakes, hurricanes, etc. Preparing for emergencies will give you peace of mind if nothing else, and I sincerely hope you will not need any of the above. In the meantime, remember that whatever the outside situation is we are always on our hero’s journey and we need to act accordingly and intentionally.

"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about. Ideas, language, even the phrase 'each other' doesn't make any sense." (Rumi)

Where is this field? How do we get there, and why would we want to? This field is the state of higher consciousness that mystics aspire to. It is known as the Unified Field of existence. It is a place where we understand that everything is part of a larger plan and is happening for a reason, and that the things we experience in life are neither good nor bad intrinsically, but rather it is our judgement of things that make them feel good or bad to us. The example I like to use is this: A storm hits a neighborhood and causes a tree to fall on the roof of a house causing a lot of damage. To the homeowner this feels like a disaster, but to the person repairing that roof, it is a welcome project. And furthermore, the insurance pays the homeowner to rebuild that part of the house even better with all new furnishings! Now the homeowner sees the same disaster as a blessing instead of bad thing. But if we take the 10,000 ft view in the first place, we save ourselves a lot of emotional upheaval by not labeling things good or bad. This sidesteps other emotional turmoil attached to judgement by avoiding:

• self pity (Oh, woe is me!)

• anger at the injustice of it all

• comparison to other people’s apparent good fortune

• feeling set back or loosing ground

• conflict with others

• blame

• vengeance

And other negative stories we ascribe to the situation……

When we let go of judgement and the resulting reactive emotions, we free ourselves to experience reality of things as they actually are. All of the above is the result of the ego construct which takes us away from our genuine center, which is the heart center. By now I think we all understand that there is a vast “unseen” realm that we exist within. In other cultures they are very aware of and in touch with this energetic realm. We here in our culture have had a metaphorical blanket thrown on top of this awareness and we are told to move along…nothing to see here. Now, if we want to realize our full potential we need to throw off that blanket and see what is underneath. It is there that we find our true essence and can claim our inherent powers and sovereignty back. This is why we want to find our way back to that field. You might imagine this to be a scary prospect, but it is the way we were meant to be, our default state, and in fact the way we were before the layers of “civilization” smothered it, and in fact demonized it.

So letting go of judgement and emotional reaction, we can enter the neutral zone and understand things from a higher perspective. You will find that when you are in that field, there is the quality of stillness as the monkey mind is silenced, and this stillness allows the awareness of the unseen realm to flow to us and we are able to access all that exists there. There is one thing that enables us to take the leap more easily, and that is faith. Faith that there is a higher power that maintains order, balance and justice in the Universe. Faith that this balance means the greatest good for all concerned, including us. There is a quote that I have at my desk that I refer to often, “My happiness is in direct proportion to my faith in the Universe.” May the Force be with you…..

Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” (Mark 11: 22-25)

When you are expecting a guest to come to your home, you make things ready, you get your ducks in a row, you clean the house, you tidy up, you stock the refrigerator, you put clean sheets on the bed, and in general prepare ahead of time so that when the guest arrives, there will be more time for fun and less work and anxiety. You will then be able to relax and enjoy the visit. The same principle is at work with faith. Faith must come with the expectation of being fulfilled, or it is only hope. As the passage above says, “believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” This is why faith is so difficult for many people. The popular stance is that when you see it you’ll believe it, but Dr. Wayne Dyer disagrees, and has a book called, “You’ll see it when you believe it.” I recommend this book to anyone who wants to dive deeper into this concept, for it is critical that you understand this in order for you to more easily manifest good things into your life. Do you remember this quote from the movie, “Field of Dreams”… ”Build it and they will come.”?? This is what we are talking about. That entire movie was about this very concept.

There is another component to faith as well. This goal must be something that you are willing to put the work into, to prepare for, to invest in. It requires doing the work, building that field, often without any sign that things are progressing, without any praise, and sometimes without any help. The only thing that will sustain you during these times is your desire and vision, your intentions, and your alignment with the achievement of the goal. This alignment comes when you have looked honestly at what beliefs and patterns are holding you back, and taken the time to heal/reframe them into positive influences. I call these obstructions the “No Current”, which is anything within you that stands in the way of what you are trying to achieve. When you have done the healing, what this does is enable you to send a coherent signal to the Universe of what you want which is the organizing principle behind it’s materialization into the 3D reality. Easy, peasy!

Of course it’s not easy, I know! But really it is just your personal version of the Hero’s Journey. We can always choose to just sleepwalk through our lives, reacting to outside forces and influences, but like a boat without a rudder we lose the ability to steer the boat. You don’t have to wait until you have attained full mastery of this…just do what you can, where you are, with what you have. Start the hero’s journey with your intention to take charge of your life and steer it in the direction of your heart’s desire.

From a scientific point of view each of us emits a vibrational frequency that is unique to us. It can now be photographed using Kirlian photography and measured by scientific instruments. This field is in a constant state of change depending on the emotional/ mental/ physical state of the individual. It also varies in size from a normal of about 6 feet in diameter, to 20 feet or more depending on how high our vibration is. This field can also be felt consciously by sensitive people, but all of us are attuned to and react instinctively to certain “vibes” such as when someone seems creepy, or when you can feel how angry someone is without them saying a word. This is our body picking up the signal and giving us information about the situation that does not originate in our thinking mind. This is what we call “gut” instinct and it is centered in our solar plexus. There is a concept in Jungian philosophy of the “anima” and the “animus”, where one is the face you present to the world, and the other is the hidden secret whole self. This secret whole self is what creates the field. It includes what we are conscious of and what what lies in our unconscious largely unknown. This is why they say the body doesn’t lie, and whether or not we are conscious of these fields around us we are nonetheless affected by them.

Imagine that every living thing is also emitting a frequency field that we are affected by and you get an idea of the vibrational soup that we exist in which is far more vast than the physical body. This soup has energy, information and direction and can be manipulated by our consciousness. We have been encouraged to believe that our selves begin and end with our physical bodies, but that is far from the truth. It is only relatively recently that people have forgotten the unseen forces that we are subject to and inseparable from. Fortunately the wheel has turned again and many more people are waking up to this fact and are beginning to learn how to work with these forces again rather than being afraid of them. We do not have to be a victim of the slings and arrows of life and we can to a great degree influence and control our lives. Until more of us realize that we can be the creator and curator of our own lives we will remain in the dark ages, and we will remain controlled by those who do understand how to work with these energies.

Cosmic forces are at play that create ideal conditions for the raising of our consciousness, and this will necessarily include great change as we move forward. For humans, change, even change for the better is uncomfortable, and it requires us to be in top form to navigate these changes with the least amount of disruption. As I like to call it, surfing the wave instead of being tumbled by it. If we don’t do the work, it will be harder for us. Our planet and all the creatures on it, including us are headed toward the 4th density consciousness and out of the 3 D consciousness. Our first job is to not resist the change, because it is happening regardless, and resistance is what causes the pain of change. Secondly, we have to look within and heal whatever wounds we have been carrying. Until we bring these things to the surface to be healed, we are unconsciously being ruled by them. Our wounds (aka our fears) keep us from living fully in the present moment, and acting appropriately and from a position of strength. Third, we need to learn how to focus our attention and control our thoughts and emotions, and hardest of all to learn how to bring all of our consciousness in alignment with our purpose. This means making sure that all of our thoughts words, and actions are supporting the direction and goal we have in mind, rather than sabotaging it. We sabotage ourselves when we allow self doubt, non belief in our own power, lack of self worth, and the negative beliefs of others to weaken our resolve. All of this is simple, although not easy. We have spent way too long being asleep at the wheel and we can no longer afford to let others drive the car. Get out your inner GPS, dust it off and start using it. That’s what it is for and most people aren’t even aware that they have it! Imagine being without your GPS in your actual car and you will understand why we have been having so much difficulty finding our way. Practice makes perfect. You have to actually put it into practice, and then you will see the results.

But alignment with what? you might well ask. Remember the adage, “Know Thyself” and also “To thine own self be true”? (Shakespeare of course) These are called truisms because of their deep universal wisdom. However, I wonder how many of us actually think about what these mean, or even more to practice the necessary inner awareness in our lives. Religion and culture steer us away from introspection and self awareness and even tells us that our natural instincts are sinful and not to be trusted, as well as needing to be suppressed! Well, that’s a good way to control people, by cutting off their channel to their innate wisdom and connection to themselves and to Spirit. That’s why we need to retrain ourselves to reopen the channel….which is mostly about freeing ourselves from the old conditioning, and looking at things with fresh eyes and deciding anew.

What we want to discover is how we feel about things, rather than what we think about things. We want to admit to ourselves if our jobs are not making us happy and we yearn to do something else. We want to understand the things that make us happy and be candid about the things that drain us and make us unhappy. And we want to look at all the reasons we tell ourselves about why we can’t change, why we can’t have what we want, that pleasing others is more important than following what our heart wants. We can’t be in alignment with something that we are unaware of.

When we come to earth we come with a purpose and a mission that is designed by our soul or higher self. This path, this mission is what we want to be aligned with. From our vantage point as we experience the unfolding of our lives we don’t always see clearly what the mission and the path is, but we are meant to use the faculties given to us as our Divine birthright to navigate with. This includes our intuition, our inner knowing, clairaudience, clairvoyance, and spiritual guidance. These are all natural and inherent abilities that have just gone largely dormant. The native peoples of the world are still very in tune with their world by fully integrating those abilities into their lives. The less we are able to trust what we see going on around us, the more we need to become our own Authority. We need to be familiar with and trust in our ability to intuitively read the room, so to speak, and be able to understand the best path forward.

The best path forward is always going to be what is in alignment with what your higher self has planned. This is what produces the greatest satisfaction in your own life as well as being the greatest blessing to others. Thankfully, what is the best for us is also what will ultimately make us the happiest and most fulfilled. When we are in alignment with ourselves and our purpose doors open, resources appear and the Universe generally supports our endeavors. It is when we don’t do what we really want to do and do what other people want us to do, or what society expects of us, or what is the easiest thing instead of the right thing. I know that it is not always easy to see what is right with your mind and the facts at hand. This is when you need to drop down into your heart to say, what decision gives me the most peace? Which decision aligns with my values? When in doubt, remember to do unto others as you would have others do unto you. This ensures that whatever the outcome, there is no regret because you know you did the right thing.

I always like to close with an action step to take us to the next level. The important thing here is to set an intention to spend some dedicated time to this pursuit of getting to know your truest self, your likes, your dislikes, how do you actually feel about things. Most of us are not used to this kind of introspection, but there is no substitute for it. If you are like me, if it doesn’t get on the “to do” list, it probably won’t get done, so put it on the list. If this is all new to you, start small. I suggest taking 15 minutes daily, ideally at the same-ish time each day, to be without distraction. No phones, media, tv, or radio. You can be driving, taking a walk, lying down or sitting in a park, but be in a relaxed and comfortable place. You need to get quiet enough to hear yourself think. My favorite thing is to just listen….to the birds or the children outside or the bark of a dog, whatever. The benefits of this alone will reset your nervous system, regulate your breathing, lower blood pressure and restore peace and calm. You might find it helpful to say to yourself, “right here, right now, everything is ok.” You will find that over time your mind will naturally turn to the issues currently confronting you, and from this calm and centered place you have access to all of your extrasensory abilities to see things clearly. You can be truthful with yourself without fear. Because knowing thyself is the beginning of wisdom.

These days there is a lot of talk going around about different timelines, and unless you are familiar with this term and concept, it can be quite confusing. You need a little background and some context to understand what this refers to and how it works in reality. So here goes, may the Force be with us!

In our lives we are constantly faced with choices, and each of these choices take us in a direction that is different than it could have been if we had made a different choice. If you look at it graphically, at any given choice point let’s say you have 3 choices. Let’s say you choose the A path. leaving the 2 paths you didn’t take as timelines you did not follow, each with it’s own fan shaped set of future choices and outcomes. The next choice point on your path will also have 3 ways to go. So you choose path B this time. Stand back to see that now there are 4 timelines that exist that you didn’t choose. These are the “potential” timelines which did not grow. As we continue living there are ever increasing timelines created, but only one we live based on the choices we’ve made. But we can also switch timelines. This is important, especially when we realize that where we are is not where we want to be and are wondering how to change our lives. We have the ability to switch timelines and their potential outcomes by changing the choices we make and by doing so change the future that would have ensued from the former paradigm. This is why one simple choice can have profound effects in our lives. I will give you a very simple example of this: let’s say that a young woman has been raised in an environment that does not value higher education or improving oneself. This young lady nonetheless gets good grades and is offered a scholarship to a local college. Does she not take this opportunity because her “tribe” may not approve? Or does she take a leap of faith to explore what else is possible, and thereby create a life and timeline that would certainly be different from the life she would have had without a college degree? If she chooses to take the scholarship she is leaving the old timeline behind and switching to a new one, which will have different choices and outcomes.

The reason this is important now is because we are at an evolutionary crossroads, where our choices about the kind of future we want to create have never been more important. Consider the “Butterfly Effect.” The adage goes, “A butterfly flaps its wings in Brazil, and an earthquake happens in Japan.” If you are not familiar, this refers to the ripple effect that every action has and the repercussions which are far beyond what we can imagine or comprehend. This effect applies to our thoughts and emotions as well as our actions, because collectively it all creates the energetic field that we create and emit. We as a people now have a choice to make as to whether we continue on a timeline of greed, corruption, self serving, violence and competition, or whether we will take a stand for justice, equality, integrity, compassion, cooperation and stewardship of the environment. These two timelines are running simultaneously, with the old timeline currently having more power. But that power is held in place by the power WE give it by our compliance and acceptance of the system. To switch to the more evolved timeline requires that we do things differently.

At this point I want to emphasize that I am not talking about political ideologies. The two major parties are just different sides of the same nickel. They are aspects of the same paradigm and timeline that needs to change. We can begin to change the trajectory by seeing through the illusion that those in power have our best interests at heart. They do not. With this awareness we can begin to take our power back and follow our true path, rather than following their plan which is not designed for our benefit, but for theirs. The most important thing to start with is taking our health back. It is no secret that Big Pharma wants to keep us weak and sick so that they have a constant income stream. We may have to start with small steps such as buying organic and minimally processed food to avoid the toxic chemicals and GMO‘s (genetically modified organisms) which are not compatible or healthy for our bodies. Stop putting other things into your body that are harmful, like aluminum, mercury and flouride. If the only thing you can do is to detox your body, stop putting harmful things in it and start putting healthy, fresh natural food and remedies in, you will experience a vast improvement in your health and well-being. This is the foundation to being fully capable of handling the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune surely headed our way.

According to the Heart Math Institute, our physical bodies undergo beneficial changes while contemplating beauty. Your neurons respond to your feelings, and when we observe beauty we are changed by it, both physically and emotionally/spiritually. Think of a painting that can make you feel ecstatic, or make you cry. Think of a beautiful landscape or the look of happiness on a child’s face. You can feel the changes it makes in your body. You can feel it opening your heart. There is a reason that over the ages we have aspired to Truth AND Beauty. Beauty has a way of circumventing thought and going directly to the soul. Beauty is not optional, it is not frivolous, and it is not meaningless. In this world there is little that can transform the quality our being to light and love more easily than beauty can.

In the recent past beauty was considered frivolous and unimportant, an unnecessary aspect of life. (As were things like health and safety measures in cars and the workplace.) Except by those who could afford it, and they, the elite and the very rich spared no expense building beautiful buildings, palaces and creating beautiful environments and supporting artists and their work. And I thank them for it, but it does not have to remain in the realm of the wealthy. I am an interior designer and Feng Shui consultant and I always tell potential clients that good design and beautiful supportive environments don’t have to be expensive. AND they are essential to your physical, mental, and emotional well being. Winston Churchill said, “First we shape our environments, and then our environments shape us.” This is another example of how reality is a big feedback loop.

Science has shown us how we are affected by color….how we are affected by different kinds of lighting…how we are affected by visual imagery and symbols. These things and every thing in our environment can affect us either positively or negatively, and so we can modulate our frequency by curating our environments with beautiful things, whether art, music, plants, or inspirational elements and beautiful furnishings. We can also tune ourselves by being beauty finders instead of fault finders. Since our primary job in life is controlling our frequency, and the goal is to raise our frequency (the higher the frequency the more love and light you live in and radiate out) Beauty is a potent tool in our tool box for creating this for ourselves. It has always been my view that we must do all that we can to help ourselves become our best selves, and this kind of self stewardship shows the Universe that we can be trusted with more. And it fills our life with happiness.

Of all the qualities of human beings that have been suppressed and hidden over the centuries, the most important one is the tremendous amount of power that our consciousness has to create. Many of the wisdom traditions have methods and rituals to get our body, mind, heart and spirit in coherence, which like tumblers in a lock will open the portal to the level of consciousness necessary to access that power. It’s not woo woo, it’s physics. The Beta state is our normal operating state. The Alpha state engenders a calm and meditative state where intuition and creativity abound. The Theta state is deep meditative awareness and has direct access to the unconscious realm. These states other than the Beta are the best place to be to have the most power. Meditation and/or specific sound frequencies are especially helpful for this.

Not only do we want to get in coherence vibrationally, we also want our thoughts and intentions to be coherent. We often don’t get what we are trying to manifest because we are not sending out a clear signal. Like static on an AM radio station, it is unfocused and unclear. The Universe is in the business of pattern recognition (frequency-wise) and then delivering your reality based on pattern matching. If you are sending out a chaotic signal, you will get back more chaos.

The big problem that most of us have is that it’s like trying to build a new house on top of all the debris left from the old house. Every unhealed emotional wound weighs us down. Every negative thought pattern takes us in the opposite direction from our goal…I call it the “NO current” and it can be very powerful. Any of our duties/responsibilities can be used as an excuse to put off doing the work. It is actual work to heal and reverse the self imposed static in our field and transmute it into something positive. That is why most people don’t do it. Most of us have all the work that we can handle and are loathe to take on such a difficult task. It takes time and persistence and intention. But the reward when we succeed really is like magic! Things flow to us with an ease that we are not used to. People, ideas and resources show up at just the right time. Things turn out better than we expect…….

But here is the bad news…..the times that we are living in, with all of the cosmic and other worldly forces at play, and the evolution in consciousness that we are all experiencing are demanding of us to live intentionally going forward or we will be tumbled by the wave instead of surfing it. The good news is that it is a faculty we already have and is something we know how to do. We have forgotten, and moreover there are forces out there that don’t want us to remember. So it is mostly unlearning the false paradigm that we are familiar with, the one that says we are powerless, and just victims of what life throws at us. This is not Truth! We are very powerful! But be careful! The Universe doesn’t like it when we intend evil or try to interfere with someone else’s free will. (This would be black magic! Which always rebounds to the person who sent it.)

We have entered a new phase where the grip of the old is losing power and the new level of consciousness that we are evolving to is gaining strength and is creating a new paradigm for the world that is more kind and cooperative and based in the greatest good for all concerned. We are in the tropics now and it is time to take off the winter coat, hat and gloves and sweater that we have worn for so long. It feels so good to drop all of that stuff we’ve been carrying! And the hack? When in doubt, choose what make you feel happy and at peace.

There is a Chinese proverb that talks about how a young spiritual seeker will try to move mountains with their power, but the master realizes that the mountain is perfect right where it is.

I had trouble with this concept for quite a while, and sometimes still. But here is the larger framework…there is a greater plan. Let me start from the macro and go toward the micro. Creator/ Source of All That Is began to create, first souls for companionship and as a way of knowing Itself through what It creates. These first massive souls were angels and other heavenly hosts. Creator gave these souls the ability to create as well within certain bounds, and from this collaboration came three dimensional reality and many universes. Creator then decided to create human souls, who would additionally have free will, which was unique in the Universe.

There were Universal Laws established and governing councils appointed, and off we went. Our souls have been evolving ever since, from many lifetimes on many worlds and many different densities. Our higher selves along with our soul tribe, decide before incarnation the people and situations we want to experience. It’s a little like a theatre company performing different plays. There is also Karma that needs to be balanced and rolls that we play in other people’s Karma. What may seem like a set back or a defeat in our 3D understanding, could be the Universe changing our course to a better direction for us. It could be teaching us a lesson we needed to learn, or a host of other things….the key understanding is knowing that the Universe is always working in our favor. But the Universe is balancing things out over many lifetimes and is working for the benefit of everyone concerned. Think of the World Series of baseball for example. One team may lose a certain game, but the series is won, not on one game, but the best out of five!

We are also not here alone….we each have a guardian angel as well as other angels, and our higher selves that we can call on at any time for help and advice. You may also have ancestors or higher beings communicating with you. One Law is, however, that these beings may not interfere unless you ask them to (or directed by Source)…so speak to your spirit team and get familiar with them. If this is foreign to you, journaling is a great way to start. It will help you to distinguish between your own inner voice and the voices of your guides. It also helps to catch those slippery subliminal thoughts that often rule us from our subconscious.

So the advice is to recognize that there are no accidents, and no coincidences, and that you are exactly where you need to be and everything is happening for a reason. This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try to change things that aren’t working…just the opposite. Victim mentality leads us to no place we want to be, so instead ask what the lesson is in this experience? What am I supposed to learn? Does this relationship take me closer to my goals, or further away from them? Why is this person in my life? What action, if any, do I need to take? Of course this dialog takes place in any case, but now from a higher perspective of not judging things as good or bad, but as levels of progression from elementary school through high school and on to even higher learning. Some subjects are harder than others, so be gentle and compassionate with yourselves, and not just others! Be patient! This journey takes a lifetime, and you are the co-creator with Source, so be intentional! Be clear! Be proactive in your own life!

It may be praiseworthy and noble to sacrifice your life to a cause or a business or the happiness of others, but if you are miserable and unfulfilled in that lifestyle and know it, then to remain in it is a hypocrisy, a lie, and a rejection of the faith placed in you by your creator.”

First let me state that Source/Creator does not require us to be unhappy or unfulfilled in life. We each volunteer to come to earth for purposes that our soul chooses to experience for this incarnation. We know at our deepest level who we are and what we came here to do. We may think that we don’t know, but that is only because we have been taught from a young age to disregard or distrust our wants, our creative impulses, our intuition and what fills our heart and nourishes our souls, and brings us joy. Follow your bliss! It doesn’t matter who did it or why, it only matters that we discover that we are sovereign souls given talents and abilities that are meant for us to use to create a fulfilling life for ourselves and others. These talents, abilities and creative impulses are clues for what we are meant to do, not things to be labeled selfish or optional, or non-productive. You can identify your core essence by what makes you feel ALIGNED, and at peace. If you can get happily in the zone when you’re doing it, bingo!

At a certain point that is different for all of us, if we are not living a life that is fulfilling, we will need to make a choice, one of many actually. The first choice is to decide to make a change in the direction of what you want to experience. Don’t worry if you don’t have a specific goal in mind yet, things unfold and become clear along the way. Choose one thing to do that will start you on your journey, and let your heart be your guide. I only caution you about one thing…..don’t listen to the voice that wants you to stay small, stay comfortable, don’t rock the boat. That is what keeps you in the same place you are in. Even small gains move you forward.

First let me say I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes here, this is what I believe to be true and others may differ. Take what resonates and leave the rest. So let me start with some things that are verifiable, such as: there are three major Bibles in use today. One is the King James version, the second is the Catholic version, and the other is the Ethiopian Bible. They have different numbers of chapters and do not say the same things. For your information the Ethiopian Bible is the oldest and truest to the life of Jesus. Before the King James version there was the one that the Emperor Constantine had changed at the Council of Nycea in 325AD. Before that there were many sacred writings that the council decided not to include. One of the principles omitted talks about reincarnation, which they did not want the people to know about. The Emperor felt that people would be easier to control if they thought one life was all there is. Not to mention that there were mistakes in translation as well as the fact that not many sages wrote down their teachings, passed down mostly by word of mouth for generations, getting slightly revised each time. This process has been repeated with many religious traditions, until the latest version is far from the original intent. There are actually five different versions of Islam, depending on which disciple’s version you ascribe to. The translations of the teachings have also been filtered through a lens of their times, which were far different from the lives we live today.

Because of this disconnect we are finding that the dogma and the rules of many religious institutions are not meeting the needs of our lives and often don’t even make sense. This is when we need to rise above what we have been taught by others and get back to listening to our selves, our heart and our inner knowing. We want to get into a genuine alignment with our higher selves and the Source of All That Is, and this means taking a higher spiritual perspective of life. Many of us have no idea how to do this. How do we go about changing our viewpoint, one that may have been a cornerstone of our lives? Here are some key take aways on the spiritual perspective:

• You are a spiritual being having a human experience, not the other way around.

• We exist within an unseen spiritual field of consciousness from which physical matter is manifested, and when the physical form dissolves, the spirit goes back fully into the spiritual world.

• Each person’s soul volunteers to come to this earth school to experience a world of 3 dimensions plus time. Each of us has chosen a different mission for their life which may be different than what you think is good and proper. You don’t know how that person fits into the Plan. Therefore do not judge…..be decerning instead.

• We, and all of life, have an innate connection with this field of consciousness all through our lives, which we access through introspection, meditation, intuition, inner knowing and prayer. This is our Devine GPS and we are meant to use it fully.

• There is no such thing as original sin…..and no such thing as hell as most people conceive of it. We also have multiple lives on multiple planes of existence to add to our soul’s experience.

• Life does not just happen to us and we are not victims. There is a Grand Plan and we are co-creators of our life and experience with Source and hopefully we learn and become better and stronger and wiser as a result.

• Karma is a thing, much like the physics principle of “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” Universal Laws of Cause and Effect and Balance are in effect. All is energy and we must accept accountability for the energetic vibration we bring to any given situation. You can’t fool Karma….

• Love is the most powerful force in the universe. When in doubt, choose love.

This is the mistake that almost everyone makes….a firm stance that what they believe is the truth. But realize that you have absorbed about 80% of your beliefs from others, and only about 20% from experience or analysis. And since our beliefs determine our actions, we often act in ways that match our beliefs but have terrible unintended consequences. The world would be so much more peaceful if we recognized that in the greater spiritual scheme of things we don’t really know much about anything, and that there could be an alternate way of looking at things that is equally valid. The wisest of us know how much we don’t know, and are less judgmental as a result, which creates an open mind. An open mind allows us to experience the present moment as it is without reacting from the ego.

At this point in time we are asked to live and let live so to speak. When we engage, even in opposition to violence and hatred, we are actually energetically increasing that vibrational field. Turn your focus instead toward what you want to create more of in your life and put your energy there (like peace, happiness, prosperity, love). Not only does it create more happiness in your life, it raises the overall vibrational level of the planet. Yes! Your being happy adds to everyone else’s happiness! This very thing is threatening to someone who feels undeserving of happiness, and to you I say, How does being miserable help anyone? How can one pour from an empty cup? Think of it as creating a happiness field to live in which benefits everyone who comes in contact with it. This is really paying it forward.

Being non-judgmental is the hard part, but it is necessary if you want to see the truth of a situation. This means that while others may not make the same choices we do in life, it doesn’t make them wrong. It just means that they came to earth with a different mission than you. It’s hard to be non-judgmental I know, but let me see if I can help. Consider that as souls we volunteered to come to planet Earth, and to experience the duality of physical life, and that we each and collectively accepted a mission for ourselves to create or experience in this particular lifetime. It is like a theatre troop which performs different plays, and each member takes on different characters depending on the play. That means that there is an actor behind all of those roles who can’t be judged just because he is playing the role of the bad guy in the play.

This does not mean that we should accept harmful behavior or that there should not be appropriate consequences. What is important here is for you to act with integrity, and question any beliefs which produce negative results. Rather than judging we want to be discerning. And also beware of judging yourself! This is even more insidious than judging others, because what you say about yourself to yourself creates your reality. As Henry Ford famously opined, “If a man says he can, or says he can’t, he’s right!”

The takeaway is, have a looser grip on what you believe……does your belief create more happiness, love, expansion or prosperity? Or does it create tension, anger, fear or unhappiness? The work is to choose the positive outcomes and to revise beliefs as necessary.

There are massive changes happening galactically, globally, locally and personally, so it is no wonder that we are all a little discombobulated. There are unseen energies affecting us as well as 3D physical things that are happening in our lives and bodies. For some of us the changes are internal, perhaps emotional purging and clearing of past wounds, forgiveness, finding self worth and spiritual growth. For others of us the changes are more external….we loose a job or a partner, or we feel the need to move to another location or change careers. Most of this is very uncomfortable to go through, which is why we feel so ungrounded and anxious about the future.

This is one of those times where you need to put on your seatbelt and let go of trying to control things, which will be more impossible than ever, and use your intuition and discernment to feel your way through to new and different ways of doing things than you may have done before. Ideally ways of being which bring you in more alignment with your higher self. It is important that you find ways to stay grounded during these changing times. A good way to do that is engaging with nature, or doing yoga, meditation, physical exercise, enjoying things with family and friends. The good news is that part of this process is spiritual growth and ascension to higher frequencies which is meant to steer you toward a more authentic you, where you will have more and work less. There will be more peace and fulfillment and beauty on the other side of all this, which we will be creating, because anything that doesn’t resonate at the higher vibrational level will dissolve or transform.

So here is the take away:

• You are not crazy or losing it!

• This is a process of spiritual growth that we are all going thru in one way or another, and it is uncomfortable, but it won’t kill you.

• Allow yourself whatever tears, anger, frustration you are feeling, but don’t stay there, and don’t hurt anyone else in the process.

• Realize that these issues are coming up to be healed and released, not to be held on to anymore.

• Releasing means finding a way of understanding things so that you can forgive and have them not trigger you any more or control your behavior.

• Look for what you have lost or suppressed that you once loved. Find a way to bring those things back into your life. This is part of the real you wanting to come out and play. These are the things that bring you joy.

• Follow your Joy

• Stop over-giving and being a people pleaser. Be you instead, and have boundaries on your time and attention.

• Stop being overly concerned with what other people think.

• You chose to come to earth at this time to be part of this great awakening, and we just need to step up and have the courage to be all that we were meant to be. This means releasing what is not truly aligned with us. But also in the process we are creating a new earth and we each are called to add our piece of the puzzle to the forming of this new era. Think about what your puzzle piece will look like. Create it……and be true to yourself, that’s all you have to do.

If you have been following me you know that 2025 was a 9 year, a time of completing cycles, of releasing what doesn’t serve you and clearing out emotional and physical clutter. This is all to make room for starting fresh in this new 1 year of new beginnings, setting a new course and taking things to the next level. These energies are not like hard lines in the sand, but gradual unfoldings and overlappings and much to-ing and fro-ing before fully resolving into a new life. This generally causes a lot of emotional upheaval that needs to be deciphered and worked through, as well as a lot of uncertainty as to where this is all leading. I know this process is uncomfortable, but try to remember that it won’t kill you. Know that you will come out the other side with clarity. Abraham-Hicks likes to say that life is a series of contrasts, and every contrast teaches you either what you don’t want or what you do want. The other thing is that there is no way of avoiding this because these cosmic energies will have their way with you, so you just need to learn to surf the wave instead of being tumbled by it.

Most of the work is about being honest as to what works for you and what doesn’t. Some attitudes and ways of being were forged at a time when you accepted things without thinking, because they have been ingrained in us since birth. Some are habits we acquire because it is required for the work or the social circle we live in. Other things may have been valid and helpful in the past, but are now holding us back in our current phase of life or keeping us stuck and unable to move forward. One of the key elements in working through these challenges is to pay attention to your feelings… (If you are like me you will overthink everything first.) But the thinking mind can only take us so far…..then our emotional side needs to be brought in to balance the equation. Spoiler alert: this will probably mean a lot of tears, and often. Letting go is not a once and done, it is a painful process because these things have defined us and guided us and have given us a “stable” ground on which we have built our world, and to let it go means rethinking our entire existence while facing an unclear outcome. Many of us live in emotional poverty because our culture overvalues thinking and doing and achieving rather than feeling and intuiting and expressing our true nature. In fact expressing our true nature is greatly discouraged and group think and fitting in is rewarded. That is why it is so difficult to make friends with our more spiritual side because it is going against the grain, so to speak. The object is to bring BOTH SIDES to bear on the issues at hand.

Karen Salmansohn (another Substack contributor) has said that two words her shrink suggested changed her world…..when he would ask her how she felt about her job or her relationship she would always respond with “I think…..” Her therapist pointed this out to her and gave her an assignment. The assignment was for 24 hours start her sentences with “I feel….” This is so important because to live a happy and balanced life we need to act with heart-brain coherence. They should be in sync with each other, with the heart actually in the lead! But many of us live according to what we think we should do, without giving any consideration to what our heart knows and wants. This is why our life may look good on paper, but we are not happy. So I am inviting you to take on this assignment as well. Our fears will keep chasing us (and influencing our decisions) until we turn around and face them, so don’t be afraid. Clarity and fulfillment are on the other side of fear.

This is the realm of duality and there is meant to be a Divine balance between the mind and the heart operating in this universe. And a balance between self interest and the interests of the collective. I think most of us would agree that there is quite a lack of balance going on around here lately. Too much attention is being paid to the 3D reality that we are familiar with (understandably), and not enough attention given to the non visible world of intuition, conscience, body awareness, psychic abilities and connection to Spirit. In fact there are forces at play whose agenda includes dividing us from these very facets of our humanity. There is way too much sword energy without the balance of the appreciation and respect for Life and for Spirit. There is a great turning point approaching and it is time for us to choose consciously which side we want to be on and act accordingly, or we face a dystopian future where we are controlled and oppressed completely.

This is not just my opinion, but that of many well respected people from multiple disciplines, science, religion, astrology, prophetic and more. There is a general consensus that 2026 and 2027 are pivotal years in terms of the split between those who are on the ascension timeline and those who will stay mired in the low vibrational world of fear, violence, anger, hatred, control and enslavement. The key factor is us, each one of us. There is no one out there coming to save us. Yes, there are certain people who can help and are helping on a global and governmental level to loosen the control of those who don’t have our best interests at heart. But, after success on the battlefield, we the people must be able to sustain it. When asked what was the result of the constitutional convention, Benjamin Franklin replied, “A constitutional republic, if you can keep it.” He knew that if the hearts and minds of the people were not in alignment with the spirit of what had been created, it would not last. In the same way each of us are responsible to be the keepers of the flame of freedom, faith and prosperity that our founders intended.

So what does it mean to be on the ascension timeline? It is a matter of the frequency and vibration that you create from your thoughts, emotions and actions which determine the reality you experience. “As within, so without.” For further clarification I refer you to David Hawkins “Scale of Consciousness,” wherein he uses kinesiology to assign a numerical value between 0 and 1000 to states of attitude and emotion on the vibrational scale. Any emotion less than 200 is below the level of moral alignment. These include anger, pride, fear, grief, control, greed, dishonesty, etc. Refer to the 7 deadly sins for more info. In these states of mind we are incapable of making sound decisions or acting for the highest good of all. The higher states of consciousness will be characterized by love, optimism, faith, cooperation, compassion, fairness, freedom and an approach that seeks the greatest good for all concerned. Your soul knows…..

Here is where a lot of people don’t understand the assignment. You now understand intellectually what you need to do, and the first thing is to make sure you are in alignment with yourself. Check in with yourself, and especially your higher self on a regular basis to see if what you say and what you do are true to what you believe and where you want to go spiritually. Imagine a train trying to move forward on tracks that aren’t going in the same direction! It isn’t going anywhere. In other words, walk the talk, and talk the truth. If you can do this one thing, you are way ahead of most people and well on your way to following your Divine purpose. Be kind, be humble, be loving. The golden rule still holds true, “Treat others the way you would like to be treated.” In this way we are able to experience dancing with life, and if a sword becomes necessary at times, we can wield it with compassion and conscience.

We are so busy and are so used to thinking the same thoughts and dealing with things in the same ways, that this leads to the same outcomes happening for us. For a while this may work, but at some point if you realize that maybe some things aren’t working as well as you would like, changes need to be made. The train I am speaking about above is your train of thoughts. You are in charge of your thoughts. You are the observer who is aware of your thoughts, and some of those thoughts do not originate with you, but we have accepted them, often without honestly assessing the validity of those ideas and beliefs. Many of us make the mistake of thinking that what we believe is the truth, but really it is just our opinion, or even other peoples opinions. Everyone has their own truth, but that doesn’t mean that others will agree with us. Therefore, we need to be open to changing our beliefs if they are no longer serving us. We can choose to entertain thoughts that empower us, or we can choose to believe and continue thinking the negative thoughts that disempower us. We can learn to discern which thoughts are honest cautions, and which are just fear projected into the future. You can choose to watch the scary movie or the fun and optimistic movie.

This takes an act of will and consistency. Your negative mind set wasn’t built in a day, and neither will your positive mindset happen overnight. But just as walking the same way in the forest creates a path over time, so will the path become easier, and it actually does make new neural pathways in your brain! I’ve learned that you can watch your “train” of thoughts on the screen of your mind and you can decide whether to hop on that train, or let it pass on by. You can do the same thing with your emotions. Michael Singer talks about letting your emotions pass through you, rather than holding on to them and milking them for all they are worth. When we hold on to them they get stuck in our body and our psyche, and it keeps us from being in the NOW, which causes even more problems. I have been working with this practice and I must say it has really been quite effective and helpful. We aren’t trying to stop feeling our feelings, we just don’t stay there. Just set your intention to not hold onto any thought or emotion which is not helpful to you on your path, and let it go……

All of these “attachments” keep us focused either in the future or in the past, or just as importantly resisting the present. The only time and place there ever is, is HERE and NOW….(Thank you Ram Dass.) That is the only place anything ever happens, is here and now. So it is important not to squander the now to worries about the past or future. That time and energy is better spend in the pursuit of your happiness and fulfillment!

Our outer physical reality is manifested from our inner reality of consciousness, which starts with the quality of our thoughts. We cannot manifest abundance with a lack mindset. “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” (Proverbs). Henry Ford famously said, “If a man says he can or he says he can’t, he’s right.” And even quantum physics agrees that consciousness creates reality, and our consciousness is composed of our thoughts, actions, emotions and intentions. It all starts with our thoughts, so if you really want to affect change in your life, start with your thoughts, about what you think is possible, about what you think you deserve, and what you think your future could look like. Bon voyage!

The universal field of consciousness is the energetic soup in which we exist. And there are different levels and densities in this soup, and what we experience in our reality is dictated by our frequency. Our frequency is determined by our thoughts, emotions and actions. Our souls came here to earth to experience and play in this 3D realm, and ultimately for us to master the art of manifestation, as a co-creator with Source. Since what we manifest is in direct relation to our thoughts and emotions in a sort of feedback loop, it becomes imperative to control our thoughts and emotions if we want to be in the drivers seat of our lives. This may seem to be unobtanium for a lot of us, but it is achievable step by step. The first step is to become aware of our thoughts and our emotional state at any given time, because how can we change what we are not aware of?

Our subconscious thoughts are very important to try to pin down because they are what guide the ship when you are on automatic. So whatever you are not doing intentionally, you are doing on automatic. To simplify our lives we put many things on automatic. We cease to question these methods and habits even though they may not be serving our best interests any more. In fact, this is where negative programming lives, and that is what we must alchemize into something that no longer triggers us. Whatever wounds are unhealed, whatever negative talk you give yourself needs to be addressed and healed. These are the things that are keeping you out of balance and alignment. We need to be in alignment to see things clearly and act appropriately and not through the lens of our wounds. To be in alignment means that your mind, body and spirit in sync. It means that your words, thoughts (conscious and subconscious) and actions are all moving in the same direction. If you have a team of horses you want to make sure they are all pulling in the same direction, right?

The Universal Law of Correspondence says “as within, so without….as above so below.” When everything is in alignment in you toward a certain goal, and you are imagining, visualizing and feeling the reality of it manifesting with consistency, the universe has no choice but to align the outer to match it. This process reminds me of the kind of training that superior athletes go through. Their whole being, their actions (practice), their mind (success programming), their speech and their emotions (think “Chariots of Fire” theme to get pumped up) are all aimed toward the goal. They don’t allow themselves to doubt, and they may have fear but they alchemize it into determination. Not all of us are meant to be great athletes, but if we are able to set an intention, and then consistently do things to bring that about, you will succeed.

So, not only is it ok to daydream, it is essential to our growth and expansion. We are meant to dream….every thing humankind has ever achieved started with an idea and a dream. Dreaming is free, so don’t limit your dreaming to what you can afford right now, or to what other people think is possible or impossible. This is an inner game between you and your intentions….

And the way we usually react to life’s interruptions is with annoyance, impatience, anger, or feeling like a victim. We souls take on physical form and come to Earth so that we can experience all that this world of duality has to offer. Duality means up and down, in and out and good and bad, love and hate. Somehow we have come to expect to always be happy and have things go our way, with none of the bad stuff. Well, that’s not the way of duality is it? I think it is time that we reset our expectations, which makes me think of the business axiom to, “manage customer expectations.” We are our own customer, and if we continue to expect smooth sailing all the time, we are destined for disappointment at the very least. Maybe we need to adjust our expectations, not to expect calamity, but to be open to revisions to our plan, with the understanding that there is purpose and Divine intelligence behind the detour that we don’t currently see.

Since we have only a limited control over outside sources, the best way to adjust is to change the way we react to these forces. If we react to forced changes in our plan with anger, we have done nothing to change or ease the situation, but only to inflame it. When we meet circumstances with negative vibrations, it actually adds to the problem creating a downward spiral of energy, and shuts down our own higher instincts and insight that we need to solve the problem. But if we understand the concept that the river of Life is a force continually presenting us with sets of circumstances to be dealt with while we are simultaneously running our own game, then we understand that the things we might previously have called “bad” or “unfortunate” are either Divine redirection to a better path, Divine protection or Divine instruction, so it makes sense to pay attention to what is unfolding! We accommodate these redirections with Grace and acceptance. Key to this understanding is knowing that whatever is happening in front of you in the NOW moment is actually the most important thing you need to deal with. For the simple reason that it is THERE in the NOW moment in front of you.

One Buddhist axiom is that “Peace of mind is the only goal.” I rejected this concept when I first heard it years ago, but now I realize that Peace is what we are always striving for. It could be peace about your finances, or peace about your mission and career. It could be in partnerships. Substitute security for the word peace and I think you will agree. Peace of mind seems to be a rare quality these days, but it is made easier by trusting that if you are keeping up your part of the bargain by doing your best to live in integrity, that the Universe has your back, and things will always work out for the best for you. But let’s not forget that Source is working everything out for the best for EVERYONE, which is why there may need to be revisions to the version you had in mind. As the Rolling Stones said, “You may not get what you want, but you sure will get what you need.” This understanding alone will reduce your stress immensely.

It takes intention and “work” to make these changes that are so fundamental to our outlook on life. I have a mantra that I use that always gets me in the right head space….”My happiness is in direct proportion to my faith in the Universe.”

How can we escape our own minds? First we have to acknowledge that some things are not working the way we wanted/intended, and perhaps we need to rethink our approach. Then there is a process designed to get behind your habitual way of doing things which involves a series of questions, answers, and actions.

• What is the desired outcome? Is this outcome a reasonable goal?

• Does this interfere with anyone else’s free will? Meaning that if others are involved to get the desired outcome you are not in sole control of the situation. This should prompt you to loosen your grip and allow for “refinement” by the Universe and other people.

• What are your assumptions about the issue? Investigate these one by one and determine if they are true or not.

• Is there anything else you need to know about the situation to solve the issue?

• What do you perceive as obstacles to the solution? Can they be circumvented?

• Do you need additional/ specialized help for this situation?

• Why have the other solutions you tried failed?

• What is your attitude toward this situation?

Sometimes we confuse being stubborn with being strong and we push harder in the same direction we are already going in, but just like a Chinese finger puzzle the harder you pull the tighter it gets. You have to relax, let go and retreat for it to loosen and free you. (I wonder if that is in “The Art of War”??) The Law of Attraction says that the “efforting” of pursuing something is actually pushing away what you want, whereas when you vibrationally ALIGN with the outcome and not the problem, that’s when things start flowing and the solutions appear.

There are many books and programs out there for problem solving, but all of them require an open mind, the willingness to admit that what you have been doing is not working for you, and a willingness to change and look at things differently. You know the saying, “If you keep doing the same things, things will continue to be the same.”
