Yes, something that’s starting this week might continue for longer than you expect. Some might call it hope core. BUT! Watch out for not playing into despair too quick as a way to get off by self pity bc it’s hard rn to imagine things falling into place. I promise it’s essentially good! This trine is about to ease your way into submitting yourself into a new initiative.

One of those moments when you will find yourself slowly getting out of your own way, basically not letting your ego get in the way of taking some steps towards what you’re seeking.

I know you may think that everything is testing your character, especially after an intense period we’ve had, having to face the fact how we put ourselves through shit as a way to continue feeling sorry for ourselves, but what we’re going through is actually an intense period of purging old buried emotions.

This is one of those weeks when you get to start working towards a new perspective. Call me cray, but a prayer or two, and a bit of thank you or three to GOD or gods or some deities, I’d pick Jupiter and Saturn, will go a long way. Heck, you can even thank yourself.

When Jupiter and Saturn interact with a trine, it makes one feel as if maybe the efforts will be worth it. Whether you are conscious of this or not, this is what you will have to bet on.

Universal waters are pointing to currents that might just cause the impossible to happen. This is one of those years when you really want to know who you are. Eclipses in traditional astrology represent malefic energies in which the whole country experiences chaos and liberation. Realistically not everyone understands the severity of emotional implications of one of the Two most important Celestial beings we astrologers have placed attention on throughout time. After all, The Sun and The Moon are the two celestial bodies we constantly interact with and are able to both consciously and visually comprehend. Cancer energy rules the emotional processes and our capacity to experience the connection to our body’s exposure to internal and external ‘happenings’. Throughout this process, dynamics we share with our primary emotional authority and maternal figure is ‘activated’. Sun in Cancer is squaring Saturn in Aries. Cardinal signs don’t get enough credit for being the ones to direct the energies of the Universe in the right direction. Currently, there’s an innate awareness of the responsibilities we might have to carry that either fall onto our laps because of expectations that have been placed on us, or because we are aware that if we don’t take on these responsibilities we might not end up in the place we want to.

There could be someone showing up in your life and causing some friction. They could be making you aware of responsibilities or limitations you may face. You have to use your discernment and assess this situation. Partly because this could be your break it moment. That moment when you understand how the mentality of the past, or what has been pushed onto you, is impacting your perception of what’s possible for you. The steps you could be taking. This “pushing” down on you might have happened by overhearing conversations too, it doesn’t have to be literal and direct. It’s important to discern right now where is coming from what.

Partly because this awareness being placed onto you right now could be quite helpful, but if you have unmet desires from childhood and resentment towards your parental figures for having their limitations or placing them upon you, you might rebel against authority without properly understanding that they might be right.

Sun square Saturn speaks of expectations to overcome the father or overthrow them. While this could be directed at you from the father figure, sometimes, its our own perception that we have to overcome or overthrow our father figure because of how we experience the imbalance of power between us and them. Now, because of this imbalance, you could misdirect this phenomenon onto other authority figures that have nothing to do with your relationship with your father figure.

This is why it’s important to discern.

Neptune is going retrograde July 7th.

This will make space for the confusion from our resentment to clear out. It will guide us towards reaching balance and equity within our life, despite a soul’s calling to feel the anger of the world right now. Unfortunately during this time we might become aware of how far we’ve taken our urge and desire to belong by embodying lots of anger thats not ours, or how we’ve practiced self pity as a way to handle resentment instead of getting on with the short handed sticks we’ve received from life and go on with making decisions to grow and reach autonomy and self actualization.

It might be hard to decide who you want to be but the truth is it doesn’t have to be constraining and it can be flexible as the definition of who you are doesn’t have to come down to one thing only.

Mars and Uranus are trine Pluto so there’s deep psychological capacity we have currently to overcome the limitations of our mindset and lack of understanding the contradictions in our life. Also, it’s a great time to understand how far the mind can go to lie to us just so we keep a false sense of power.

Mercury will meet the Sun sometime next week (read my precious posts for all the details), and after that we will have a sense of understanding what it truly means to nurture ourselves instead of repeat emotional neglect as a way to access familiarity.

There comes a point when you have to sit down and meet yourself. Depending on how you facilitate this date, I do encourage you to pick up the cute journal.

One you keep ignoring. Yes grab your favorite pen too (the one you deem as worthy). If this isn’t available to you just a piece of paper or tissue will have its intention. You can be totally crazy and clean up your space before you start all of this process.

The crazy can have an extra layer and even light up a candle that’s going to make you feel warm. It might feel crazy when you start noticing the fire respond to your spirit.

This Full Moon is hitting some deep place within us and it’s projecting a light onto the parts of us we tend to respond with ‘hardness’. Making us see the parts of us we tend to shut off because “adulting” means you have to maintain a cold/cool nature sometimes. I’m not saying that’s not true. But… while in today’s world being adult does come with a certain look, and potentially certain ‘activities’ or ‘achievements’, at the end of the day, it’s essentially just a type of ‘make up’ we put on to convince ourselves that we are doing the ‘responsible’ thing. Which is sometimes very obvious, and at times, become very emotionally confusing within.

In the midst of the battle of having to bear the weight of dealing with your own emotional landscape… how can you find your own path? The one that allows you to permit yourself to what you currently need.

Back to business. Basically every Full Moon, within the interpersonal level, calls for a moment of release. Think of it as clearing the air so you can get to where you need to be. It’s not necessarily about inviting stuff in, it’s more about what you need to release to get the things you want. Sometimes it’s a form of celebration, but in terms of reflectiveness, you want to come to terms with how you feel.

The way forward feels backwards and you might feel as if all the answers lie in the past, but I’m not sure all of them do. One of the worlds points to self scrutiny because of feeling completely inadequate and somehow never seeming to get it right despite how many times you try to rationally do the right thing, and the other one leads to feeling as if you have to sacrifice everything in your life, including your sense of freedom, which feels like too much to bare, and keeps resulting in waiting for a savior to come and make it all better.

This Moon will undergo a Uranus opposition, it is squaring the Nodes, and Venus is squaring Saturn. Let’s get back to feeling stuck in different lifetimes and not knowing which way to go about your world. This is one of those moments when you might want to identify what you’re truly wanting to be free of, as there’s a glitch in the system and you keep making the same mistake across many lifetimes.

This mistake is very anxiety driven, very much rooted in constant stress and awaiting a crisis, and it’s fully centered on you feeling mentally clocked out of your surroundings, friends, and even the ones you thought you were growing with. Uranus this time around is pointing to a false sense of safety in avoidance, and this Full Moon is revealing the need for freedom, as you might be repeating a pattern that’s causing you to go against your very own feelings.

There’s much needed renewal of ‘energy’ in the air being expressed currently. The sky is pointing out to a symbol of a new foundation which we’re about to embark as we deprive past emotional containers of self betrayals. There’ a reason a Taurus Moon is associated with the Exaltation of the Moon. If one can love and work towards inner satisfaction by building security and comfort within your emotional world then one will have a ‘better time’ regulating themselves. Security usually does mean financially in this case, as it was portrayed in the ancient times as if a family or mother figure where to feel financially safe, then the household will succeed. Not totally a lie in today’s world either, despite having to accept the different financial world we’re heading towards.

There’s a bitter sweet feeling to this new lunar process unfolding as Venus, the ruler of this Taurus New Moon, will be making her way to square Neptune, then Saturn, before she goes on to meet Jupiter. In short words, the glory is coming. There just needs to be an extraction of what’s not supposed to be present while you receive this next blessing. Some might say making room for it.

What’s becoming evident within this Taurus New Moon is that both the Moon and Sun are meeting at 25 degrees of Taurus, while Mercury sits directly beside them, acting as a bridge between emotional renewal and mental clarity. There is a realization unfolding here regarding comfort, stability, and the ways in which we attempt to create security within the area of life Taurus occupies in our chart. This is not simply about “thinking differently.” It’s about becoming aware of what no longer feels sustainable emotionally, physically, and mentally. Yes, Venus is heavily involved in this process as well, because Taurus does not operate without asking us what we truly value, and whether we’ve been betraying that value in order to maintain temporary peace.

Example: if Taurus occupies your 3rd House, this can manifest as gaining clarity surrounding friendships, communication dynamics, siblings, or your immediate environment. There can be a realization regarding the people you engage with daily, or even a nearby trip, conversation, or interaction that suddenly shifts your perspective. Pluto is mission to distinguish how and what needs to be broken down in order to reach the next level of evolution, or in simpler terms: progression. It works different from Uranus when it comes to progression, it’s mot necessary focused on the soul’s freedom & foresight, it’s focused on survival.

Pluto will be retrograde up until October 16th of this year. You have to understand that within these next months, you won’t be able to reach the desired state of consciousness alone. When Pluto goes retrograde, it signifies a time when these dynamics we have with power and powerlessness are navigating by inviting other people in our life to properly assess and destroy parts of ourselves that are stuck.

Words are being thrown around, but what I mean to say is that during this time you’re really about to reassess and part ways with a part of yourself you’ve been meaning to change ever since 2023. Retrograde periods of this generational planet are more clean up phases, rather than new struggles. However, if you really keep at it at the same issue, the severity of the consequence raises.

The most important factor of this lunar event is that Mars is in a square with Jupiter. We’re about to witness this clash of our ideals, specifically how our family upbringing and emotional conditioning conflict with our desire for forward movement and independence. Mars square Jupiter speaks of abrupt, forced beliefs that were most likely formed through fear, or created during moments of conflict. During this time, you will come to understand that you have outgrown your wounds, you have outgrown the betrayal, and you have outgrown your instinct to self preserve, because somewhere deep inside of you, you understand that you’re the one holding yourself back from what you truly wish to experience.

At the same time, this aspect can create a tension between anger and idealism. There is a part of you that wants to act, to move, to break free, but there is another part that is inflated with expectations, beliefs, or moral frameworks that may not even belong to you anymore. This can result in reacting too quickly, or feeling frustrated when reality does not align with what you thought your life should look like. However, this is exactly where the lesson lies. You are being asked to recognize where your anger is rooted in outdated beliefs, and where your ideals are keeping you stuck in cycles that no longer reflect who you are becoming.

If you allow yourself to sit with this tension, rather than act impulsively, you will begin to see that your anger is not your enemy, but a signal. It is pointing you toward the places where you have been restricted, where you have been told who to be, and where you have limited yourself in order to feel safe. This is a moment of recalibration, where your actions and your beliefs must come into alignment, not through force, but through awareness.

As this week continues, we have a Moon in Cancer that’s going to square Saturn and Neptune as it makes its way to meet Jupiter. The hard work and tension we’ve been working through is not quite going to be processed until later on, but it is about to meet some relief. The Cancer Moon meeting Jupiter in Cancer calls for a small blessing to help us get through the week. This is a day to pray, and this is a day to love yourself into a blessing. Dead ass, this is the time to cook yourself the best meal and do everything you would want your mother to do, especially in moments when you feel like you need emotional reassurance.

Moving forward, the Moon will enter Leo late Thursday, and it will make its way to opposing Pluto. Look, we all want to be seen, but don’t try to compensate for feeling powerless when you don’t get acknowledged, and don’t try to control situations when you feel like people are targeting you while you’re allowing yourself to shine. Moon Pluto transits always bring some sort of emotional pressure that’s hard to maneuver, as we want to stay in control but perceive everything around us to be a push and pull that almost brings out the worst in us. The fear to be seen needs to be met with the honesty of the heart, regardless of how hard it is to keep your chin up when you feel like you have never been acknowledged for what you’ve been through, and that truth needs to come from within you first.
