I understand that January - August might have not been as sweet as you expected it to be but then... Here we are in September. What are the odds??

Happy new month my darling
Welcome to September. A sweet month ❤️
As we start this month, I want us to start with Amos 9:13-15 MSG “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel.

I don't think you read that well, it says "Everwhere Blessings" The blessing will flow. It will not just flow but there's going to be an outpouring. A outpouring of New wine, Blessings, miracles. Things will happen so fast that you cannot even phantom it.

January - August was not a smooth ride for me but guyyy I've decided to hold unto His word and I think you should do that too. I am here to remind you not to give up on 2026. A lot can happen in 4months.

The audacious year is gradually coming to an end and we've not done anything audacious oo.... Na only mouth we get. Let's make the remaining months count.

Finally, if you're like me that can't wait for this year to be over because of the shege 2026 has shown you, Take a deep breath. We're almost done.
While we're still here, Take out your journal or sticky notes and try to think back of the good things that happened this year. No matter how little it is something good would have still happened.

Think back very well. In the midst of the chaos, there would have been something that still brought you joy. Remember that credit alert you never expected or that birthday gift that made you cry or the result that you were expecting a D and you got a B. Remember the time you ate shawarma and not Gari and groundnut.

A lot of good things would have happened. So don't let the unforseen circumstances make you turn a blind eye to those moments. I saw a tweet today and it made me smile. It says "You have so much history with God to act like this chapter is where He suddenly stops being faithful".

So my guyyy, remember the faithfulness of God and count them one by one.
Welcome to September ❤️

Subscribe now

As you remember the good things and His faithfulness. This phase will come to an end soon. I mean very very soon.

Quick story guyss☺️
I've been very sick from the beginning of August up until now. I'm much better. Like... Very better now and that's why I think I'm able to write about it.
When it all started, I felt like I was drowning. I felt drained. I cried every night. Hospital felt so unsafe even though that's where I work. It felt very lonely. My intestines were also lonely because I vomited everything I ate.

I felt that was the end of the world. I cried a lot because I've been sick quite a number of times this year and it was getting annoying and frustrating. At some point, I signed a form that I was going to leave the hospital against medical advice. Immediately I signed the form, I started shaking again. The nurse didn't even answer me.

During those periods, I forgot about the goodness of God. I forgot about how God has come through for me in the past months. I forgot everything about the mercy of God and I was just clouded by my emotions and how to get out of the hospital.

I am grateful I had friends around. I had friends to pray with me, pray for me, cheer me on, listen to my rant. Guyyyy.... I am grateful that I had people to just sit and listen to me. No interruption at all. But as time passed, I revisited my journal and I saw how God has come through for me this year. I started another round of tears again.

Today, I wanted to read Colosians and my eye just went to an highlighted part in the page before it and that was Philipians 4:13. I have never ever seen that verse the way I saw it today. I use the Goodnews translation. And it says "I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me."

Guyyy I was like Colosians hold on first, let me digest this. Are you saying that I have strength to face all the conditions that come my way. You mean, there's no condition that I don't have the strength to overcome because christ lives me in me?? Broooo that is crazy.

I didn't know where the strength came from, I started praying. I went on and on. I didn't think that I just came back from a Night shift oo... I was on fireeee. After a while I slept. I slept while listening to a sermon.

When I woke up, I remembered that verse again so I decided to read it in TPT translation and it says "Philippians 4:12-13 TPT " I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty."

Chaiiiii... Whether in fullness of in hunger, I find the strength of Christ’s explosive power and I conquer difficulties. Emphasis on Explosive power. The power na real Explosion oo😂😂 I don't think you're getting me.

It's not just that oo... We are trained in secret to overcome all things. I.e regardless of the situation, we have this training to overcome. Kaiiiiii... There's this strength that comes even from understanding this scripture alone.

It happens such that even in hunger you still have strength to draw from the source of strength. Gym sef no fit give you that kind strength to overcome conditions. But My JESUS can do it.

I don't know what you're going through right now or the phase you're in but I want you to know that you can do all things through christ who gives you strength. You will survive this phase. You can do it.

As you go through this phase, I need you to use the fetcher - Joy - because with Joy we draw from the well of salvation. With joy, you can draw strength from him, draw healing, draw abundance. Draw everything.

Thanks for reading The life of EASE ! So you said some people are dirtier than our house, abi?”
And I'll just stand there.
“Mummy…”
“No, you said it now. So who am I to tell you to arrange your room?”
“Mummy, please.”
“Don't worry. I'm not saying anything.”
But she is saying everything. 😭

And somehow, the conversation will move from the clothes on the chair to how her own mother used to make them clean the house. Then she will tell you how she grew up. How they lived in a room and parlor. And somehow, you will hear the history of your mother's childhood simply because you left one shirt on the chair.

Sometimes, I just don't want the conversation. So when I hear that Mummy is coming, I don't wait. I arrange the house.

Have you ever been in that situation?
Your parents are coming, and somehow, the house that has been looking unkempt suddenly becomes very clean.
Clothes that have been on the chair for days suddenly find their way to the wardrobe.

And it is funny because sometimes, the only reason we suddenly become so responsible is because someone is coming. But what if we lived differently?
What if we didn't wait until we heard that someone was coming before we put the house in order? Because, in a way, I think this is how some of us live our lives with God.

We scatter the house.
We leave things unattended.
We allow habits to grow.
We keep unforgiveness in places we should have emptied a long time ago.
We drift. We stop praying.

Then one day, our pastor delivers a heartfelt sermon that reminds us Jesus is coming. And suddenly, we want to clean everything.

We want to pray again. We want to repent. We want to forgive. We want to stop that habit. We want to fix our relationship with God. We start arranging everything because we don't want Him to meet us in the state we have allowed ourselves to become. And honestly that is not entirely wrong. But what if we didn't have to wait for the announcement? What if we didn't have to wait for our pastor to preach that sermon. What if we lived every day with the consciousness that He could come at any time? Not because we are afraid of being caught. But because we know who is coming. And funnily enough we don't know the time He's going to show up. So why not live your life ready. There is something beautiful about living ready. It means your prayer life isn't something you restart whenever you hear a sermon about the second coming. Your repentance isn't something you postpone until you feel guilty enough. Your relationship with God isn't something you repair only when you are reminded that life is short.

So, don't scatter the house. Don't wait until you hear that He's coming before you start putting things in order.

Live ready.
Pray ready.
Love ready.
Forgive ready.
Obey ready.

Because one day, there will be no frantic cleaning. No last-minute arranging.
No time to hide anything under the bed.
One day, the door will open. There won't be a knock for you to even know that he's already at the door. The signs of His coming are already way more evident than we pay attention to.

And I hope when the one we've been waiting for comes, we won't be running around trying to make our lives look ready. I hope we will be ready.

I hope you learnt something.

Keep the house arranged so that your mummy won't shout.

Temiesoro 💡❤️

The Jesus willing to stand on is that people change for those they want to.

I've heard people say that "I'm not the calling type or texting type, or I don't know how to keep dates and all. And somehow you find them become ego they say they are not for someone else.

That one cut me so deep and it took a while for me to heal. And it made me realize one of the greatest reasons people change is people. The right kind of people can bring out the version of you that you never knew existed. And that's why I'm grateful for people who stayed.

My name Is Temiesoro and today, I'm writing to you. To all the friends always and forever.

You are one of the people who stayed and it's not because I'm perfect. You stayed even in my imperfections. We had our moments of arguments, disagreements and even at that you still wanted to stay.

I think this is the most beautiful thing about friendship. Choosing to stay even when there might be slight reasons to walk away but you choose to stay and let us figure it out together. You opened up about your worries and I did same. Our friendship made me feel seen and safe.

You did not just love me in the way you think was right but you love me in the way I want to be loved. Thank you for choosing this friendship even when it wasn't convenient. Thank you for staying through the versions of me that weren't easy to understand.

Thank you for reminding me that friendship isn't just about having someone to laugh with when everything is good. Sometimes, it is about having someone who stays while you're becoming. Someone who is willing that you both figure out life together

And you have made me want to become better.
You make me want to be kinder.
You make me want to be softer.
You make me want to communicate better.
You make me want to love people better.
You make me want to be a better friend.

When I think of you, I see you as God's gift to me. The God that created me thought of you when he created me and that's why he made our path cross. He knew I would be a better version of myself when I'm with you.

And somehow, in this huge world filled with billions of people, He allowed our paths to cross. How good and sweet is that? That God didn't just create us.
He created us and then somehow made us for each other. When God saw Adam he thought that he needed a help meet so he created Eve and that's why God created you for me and me for you.

I'm grateful for the laughter.
For the random conversations.
For the prayers.
For the difficult conversations.
For the memories.
For the lessons.
For the growth.

And for always, I will choose this friendship again. You are one of those that complete me. Not because we don't have our fights and arguments but because we've chosen to thrive through those moments.

I hope we remain the kind of friends who don't just remember who we are but we continue to make room for the persons we are becoming such that the phases that may come our way, won't split us away.

I choose you now, I choose you always, I choose you forever.

So here's to us. To the friendship that wasn't always smooth but was always worth choosing.

To the people who stayed.
To the people who made us better.
To the people who became home in unexpected ways.

To the people we get to call our people.
And to you, my friend, my person, my always and forever. I hope it really is forever.

With love,
Temiesoro
To all the friends, always and forever.

You could relate right?? They either break something in you or mend something in you. Sometimes they do both.

Some friends leave you with beautiful memories and lessons you carry for years. Others leave you with wounds you never knew a friendship could create. They leave, but somehow, a part of what happened stays with you.

Hi, My name is Temiesoro and I'm writing a friendship series and this is to those that walked away.

I have had friendships that ended beautifully, and I have had friendships that left me hurt. The kind of hurt I didn't know could come from someone I once called my friend.

I remember what it felt like to realize that someone who once knew so much about me was no longer someone I could talk to. Someone I laughed with, prayed with, went to class with, shared secrets with, and trusted with parts of myself that I didn't easily give to people.

I trusted you with everything about me. My laughter was the loudest when I was with you. I remembered how we prayed together. I wanted to be intentional because of you. I planned birthday gifts, little did I know it wasn't going to be forever. I told you things I couldn't tell others. I took you as a safe space. I introduced you to my family.

If I was the problem, you could have told me and not just leave me hanging and doubting myself.

And then, somehow, we became strangers. I won't pretend it didn't hurt.It did. I cried severally wondering what happened between us. I was willing to do anything to fix it. I wanted to be better. Do better. Love better. But I guess your heart was already far away from me.

When you posted others and didn't post me, I didn't really care. You called others same names you call me. I still didn't care. I saw you laugh better with someone else that wasn't me. I didn't care. I just wanted you to be happy. But slowly, I was hurting.

There were times I questioned what went wrong. I replayed conversations in my head. I wondered if I had said something differently, loved differently, or tried harder, would things have ended differently?

Sometimes, I blamed myself.

Other times, I blamed you.

And for a while, I carried the hurt with me. But I guess now I'm learning to live without peaking to you in weeks.

After my friendship with you,

I became more careful.

I became slower to trust.

I started thinking twice before letting people get too close because I had learned that someone could know you deeply and still hurt you deeply.

honestly, I don't blame people who don't like keeping friends. I don't blame myself for needing time to heal either. But I've also learned something.

I cannot allow the person who hurt me to decide what every future friendship will look like. You cannot make a new friend pay for what an old friend did.

I won't lie, I feel friendship is not for someone like me because I've not found my person. I'm questioning myself if friendships are actually real. Sometimes, i realized I started hating on other people's friendships because ours didn't last for long.

But now I know that I cannot assume that everyone who comes into my life will leave the same way. And i cannot allow the hurt of one to hinder the coming of another.

I am learning that.

I am learning to separate the person who hurt me from the people I haven't met yet. I am learning that one person's betrayal doesn't mean everyone will betray me. One person's absence doesn't mean everyone will leave.

One person's inability to love me well doesn't mean that I am difficult to love.

And one friendship ending badly doesn't mean friendship itself is bad.

I still want friendship.

I still want people I can laugh with until my stomach hurts.

I still want friends I can pray with.

I still want people I can call when life feels heavy.

I still want friendships where we can grow together, correct each other, celebrate each other, and show up for each other. I don't want my past to make me afraid of my future.

And that is where Jesus comes in. Because Jesus is still the greatest Friend I've ever had. Regardless of how hurtful what people can do and will do, Jesus is still the greatest friend ever.

That's why that hymn says "what a friend we have in Jesus" and I want you to know that There's not a friend like our lowly Jesus. He sees the parts of me that friendship has broken.

He knows the things I don't tell people.

He knows the friendships I still think about.

He knows the people I still miss.

He knows the moments that still hurt when I remember them.

And He doesn't tell me to pretend they never happened. He teaches me how to heal from them. He teaches me how to forgive without pretending I wasn't hurt.

He teaches me how to love again without losing myself. He reminds me that being hurt by someone doesn't mean I should close my heart forever.

He is still bringing people your way. Your friend is still out there. That person that will be your safe space.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" As the seasons changed, some of them left, and I had to leave some too because I knew they were no longer the right people for that particular season of my life. But that doesn’t change the fact that while we shared life together, I loved you.

Each of you left footprints on my heart. You helped me discover better parts of myself. You taught me to love myself more, to trust, to be careful with my trust, to forgive, to set boundaries, and to understand that friendship is one of God’s greatest gifts. Regardless of how our story ended, I’m grateful that our paths crossed.

I remember our laughter. I remember our prayers. I remember walking to class together, sharing meals, exchanging long conversations, and carrying each other’s burdens. On the days when life felt heavy, some of you became my safe place. You listened without judgment and reminded me that I didn’t have to carry everything alone.

I’ve come to understand that God sometimes sends people into our lives for a season rather than a lifetime. For the longest time, I wished our story hadn’t ended. I held on, hoping things would return to the way they used to be. But eventually, I had to let go because I realized the season had ended long before I was willing to admit it.

Although we may no longer be friends, I still value every moment we shared. Our friendship wasn’t built merely on convenience or comfort; it was built on genuine love. You were a friend for a specific season, and I believe there was a purpose behind it.

We had our disagreements. We misunderstood each other. We argued. We hurt each other. At some point, one of us simply couldn’t continue, so we walked away. But even with all of that, I choose not to let the ending erase the beauty of everything that came before it.

I’m learning to let go with grace.

I’m learning that when I think of us, I don’t have to dwell on the hurt. Instead, I can smile at the memories we created and thank God that, for a little while, our lives intersected.

Every time I see you, I try not to remember the pain that came with the ending. I choose to remember the laughter, the conversations, the prayers, the lessons, and the friendship we once shared.

I hope that whenever you think of me, your heart is filled with gratitude rather than resentment. I hope you remember that, once upon a time, we were good for each other.

Thank you for choosing me when you did. Thank you for every laugh we shared, every prayer you whispered on my behalf, every lesson you unknowingly taught me.

Regardless of how our stories ended, each of you became a chapter in my life that I will never regret reading.

I sincerely wish you well.

I pray that you flourish in every area of your life. I pray that you become everything God has called you to be. I pray that you will not stumble on your journey of purpose, and that you will live long enough to fulfill every good plan God has for your life.

And if our paths ever cross again, I hope Even then, there are still strands of silk clinging to it, and you carefully remove those too.

But that's not all.

Before you can enjoy the corn, it has to go through another process. It is either cooked or roasted. Only after enduring that process do you get to taste its sweetness. Sometimes, that's exactly how God works on us.

Jesus said in John 15 that He is the Vine and we are the branches. And every branch that bears fruit, the Father prunes so that it can bear even more fruit.

The pruning process is not a joke.

You ask God for patience, and He allows situations that stretch every ounce of it. Sometimes you pass the test; other times, you fail.

You pray for courage, and He places you in moments that require you to stand boldly. Yet, you still find yourself hiding in the shadows, choosing timidity over faith.

The pruning process isn't comfortable.

Your patience will be tested.

Your pride will be crushed.

People will step on your toes.

God will place you in situations that humble you, and there will be nothing you can do but surrender.

The very people you love or perhaps the ones you struggle with the most may become the ones He uses to refine you. You'll find yourself thinking, "You too?"

It hurts.

Sometimes you'll be wounded, and you won't even have the strength or permission to fight back.

But trust me, it's all part of the process.

Don't be discouraged.

This process is bringing out the best version of you. And if you fail a test, don't throw in the towel (I learnt a new idiom so I decided to use it here😜😜 It means do not quit) or convince yourself that it isn't worth it.

Think about the corn again. There's really no excuse for not writing. Life just hit me so hard that I lost myself in it again. I lost my spark but I've learnt that regardless of everything, I am still who God says I am.

How have you been? For real, How have you been? Ask yourself. And if you're unsure, take a deep breath. Trust me when I say everything will be fine. I wish I could hold your hands and look into your eyes to tell you that everything will be fine. Always remember no matter what it is God loves you.
I've recieved a lot of questions about where have I been and if I gave up on writing. I don't know how to answer that question but I decided to give an update on where and how I have been. Enjoy the ride 😌😌

Subscribe now

JANUARY - The not so beginning
January was a month of pause for me. I had to sit with the lessons I learnt in 2025 and see how to practice them in my life. I loved the idea of not trying to put down new goals but to sit with the ones I achieved and see what didn't make me achieve those I didn't. During my period of waiting, I got to learn that God is beyond our creator. He is daddy.
January felt like a pause. A real pause. The kind that forces you to sit with yourself.
January started soft but heavy. Soft in the essence that I wanted to be in my soft girl Era but still heavy because I felt so much weight on me about this year even before the year started. I was scared of not having things figured out. I was scared of failure, I was scared of upcoming exams, scared that my friends would graduate and the friendship will take a U-turn. A lot of things were on my mind, I won't lie.

One of my greatest highlight in January was my birthday. This year is the best year yet. My birthday was smooth. I was happy because my friends surprised me. Guyyyy... I don't think i have ever experienced what it feels like to have a birthday surprise. I use to feel like those that cry during surprises are just fake people Jare... I felt that way until it reach my turn 😂😂 I had mixed emotions. I laughed, jumped, cried.
I got somethings I have always wished to have. My friends really tried with that one. And I didn't notice anything until that day??? They tried. I should buy each of them a lambo😂🤭
Beyond my birthday, I passed my Precouncil exam. Omo... I got myself a good food and ice cream at least to wash away the pain of the sleepless nights.

FEBRUARY - It's all about LOVE
To love or to be seen, all I wanted was to pass my first semester exam oo
I heard the exam was computer based and a part of me was excited but another part of me was anxious. I even forgot that my best Bible verse is "Be anxious for nothing". I tried to be positive all the way and God saw me through.
February was the period of processing and teaching for me. God taught me Love. This song by Jaymikee "I will love" became a regular sound for me. God taught me His love and how to extend his love to others. I found it kind of hard to accept that Love doesn't keep record of wrong. Cause tell me how someone will offend me over and over again and love will still tell me to forgive. Ohh nooo😭🤦🏽‍♀️ because I wasn't feeling the love for others like that... I changed the lesson of love to Self-love. At least it's still a kind of love right?? I didn't want to focus on the aspect of love for others because I know I was guilty of a lot. So I moved on.

MARCH - A Living Sacrifice
This served as the beginning for me. Now I decided to start my year. I started thinking about my new year goals but I couldn't really think of any asides to make millions before next year and omo... Nothing for me oo😂 I no even get 5k 😂😂😭 I wrote down a few goals and I'm actively working towards it by the grace of God.
I started writing again and that's when I wrote my last letter to you on the series about the fatherhood of God.
I started Posting and I attended FSF UI and they were teaching about the fatherhood of God. Omo... I felt so happy that God has a reason for me being there. I got lost on my way there though but I was still happy to be there.
In March, God taught me about "Living Sacrifice" I read Romans 12 almost everyday. Maybe I will do a full write up concerning that one day.

APRIL - Learning to show thy self approved
This was another month of reflection for me. I thought of how January to March has been. I reflected on how my service to God has been and who I have become since I gave my life to christ. What I learnt in February which was love, was supposed to help me in April but I didn't really put it to practice. I let what people did get to me. I found it really hard to forgive. I held unto the offences of a particular person. Lets not lie, that girl did a lot and it was annoying that her friends couldn't call her to order. Anyhow Sha... We move. I thank God for helping me retrace my steps and not build castles on the foundation of resentment.

Thanks for reading The life of EASE ! So i started studying the the theme "SHINING THE LIGHT" And the text was taken from "John 1:5 and Matthew 5:16". I would say this is my first time studying a theme and text this deeply. God revealed to me a lot of things and I was happy I had people to share it with.
There's a joy that comes with reading your Bible and God opens your eyes to new things but the joy of having someone to share the word with?? That joy is on another level.

This song really did something to me in April.

MAY - The trying time
Hmmmm..... Omo.... It is well.

In May I made one hair style and it didn't last two days on my head oo… I loosed it immediately. I made it on Saturday and loosed it on Sunday. It was so painful. I couldn't even sleep. The painful part was the money I spent on the hair 😭😭 That's the highest amount I've spent so far on my hair. I cried because of hair 😂😂

Anyway, a lot happened in May and I don't think it's the right time to talk about it. Let's skip to June.

JUNE - A new beginning
The month started like a fresh start for me. The kind of start that comes when you want to leave the past behind and move on.
Habakkuk 3:17-19 became my solace. I found peace in those verses. I learnt that even in my distress, I should still go back to God. He is the author and finisher of my faith. Regardless of what happens, I will still dance and praise God. I learnt that God is the one writing my story, every page, every chapter, every book, every episode and every season. The word of God to me during that season is to rejoice even when it gets hard and tough. Yaweh is the Lord of my strength and I run this race not by power, nor by might but by the spirit and grace of God.
This was a month to revisit what I took as my identity. God reminded me that I am loved, I am strong, I am held by His hands, I am chosen, Not Forsaken.

In all of this, I learnt that God is with me in my journey. In this season I had to go back to God because He's my daddy and He understands everything. Now I understand that even when things don't end where I want them to, He still loves me and I should still offer myself as a living sacrifice regardless of the season I am in.

If you read up until this point, you're a real gee👌😉❤️ I hope you were able to learn one or two things from my first half reacap. I hope you are doing well.

I didn't write to you last week because I wanted you to stay and reflect on God being your daddy.

Before i go on with “God being daddy” series, I would love for you to do a little reflection on yourself. News God to me that some of us don't feel good about ourselves that why we feel ashamed to call God daddy.

I don't know why you feel ashamed or filthy that makes you feel unworthy to call God father. Just so you know even the prodigal son still came back home to call his father and his father accepted him.

So no matter what you've done or how you've loved your life, as long as you're back to Him and you're ready to accept Him as yours, He is also ready to accept you as His.

Firstly, forgive yourself.

I would need you to forgive yourself of your past mistakes and hurts. Start loving yourself again because you're about to regain your spark. Your spark is coming back.

Love yourself.

Self love cannot be over emphasized. Until you learn to love yourself, you might find it difficult to accept the love of the father. If you can't accept the love of the father, you will find it difficult to exhibit love unto unto others.

Afterall, you can't give what you don't have. So you need to love yourself beyond your past mistakes. Beyond the ups and downs you've experienced lately. Love you because you're the definition of beauty and courage.

Tell me, what is there not to love about you. Is it beauty, you have it 100%. Intelligence, you're 1000/100. So what is there not to love about you. Abeg shift jhor and don't let devil sell any lie to you about yourself. Start by loving you.

Finally, Accept Jesus as Daddy.

He the father of all fathers and he cares about you. He can't force himself in if you don't left him come in. He loves you beyond your imagination and He is willing to play the role of a father. Are you ready to accept Him?

Till I write to you again, remember it begins from living yourself.

The Jesus storyteller

Temiesoro 💡❤️

Do you have the right to call God daddy?

Sonship, inheritance, and the privilege of being God’s child.

The life of EASE

Last week, we spoke about God as Daddy.
We talked about how He protects, how He teaches, how He listens, and how a good Father cares not only about what we say but also about the intentions of our hearts.

But today, I want to begin with a statement that might sound surprising at first.
Not everyone has the right to call God “Daddy.”
Yes, you heard me right.
Not everyone has the right to call God Father.
Now calm down before you react. Let me explain.

But before we dive in, How are you doing? I hope you’re well. And I want to sincerely thank you who read the last post, shared it, commented, and told others to subscribe. Your support means a lot.

And if this is your first time here, welcome. You might want to read the previous post after this one.

Alright, let’s dive in.
Earlier, when I shared about God being my Daddy, a few people replied quickly telling me that we are siblings. I am not arguing about that. I even love that we are siblings.
From your perspective, I understand why you would say that.

But here is the truth:
The fact that He is my Father does not automatically mean He is yours.
That might sound strange because we often say things like:
God created everyone.
Jesus died for everyone.
We are all God’s children.

But according to the Bible, sonship is not automatic. It is received through faith in Jesus Christ.
The Bible says in Galatians 3:26:
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”
And in Ephesians 2:18–19, we are reminded that through Christ we have access to the Father.
This means something very important:
No one becomes a child of God without Jesus. Believing that Jesus existed is not enough. Even believing that He is the Son of God is not enough.

Sonship begins when you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.
Until you give Him access to your life, He cannot rule in your life. Until you open the door of fatherhood to Him, He will not force Himself in.

God is willing to be Father.
But we must be willing to become sons.
And the beautiful thing about this relationship is that our Father is love. So regardless of your past or present, He is willing to accept you as His own. Just so you know, that acceptance won't happen until you open the door for Him.

So if you've not accepted Jesus into your life, you're wrong when you say that we are siblings. WE ARE NOT SIBLINGS. Until you accept Jesus, you are deceiving yourself if you say God is your father.

God is love.
So if God is truly your Father, then you are not lacking love.
Sometimes people say that when someone looks for love everywhere, it means they were not loved at home.
But for the believer, our home is in God.
And our Father Himself is love.
So I know this:
I am loved.
Not because people always show up perfectly.
But because my Father is love.

Another thing that sets the children of God apart is our inheritance.
Everyone may have a father, but not every father gives the same inheritance.
The Bible says a good father leaves an inheritance for his children.
And for the children of God, our inheritance is not ordinary.
Our inheritance is eternal.

The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 1:3–4 that we have an inheritance that is Imperishable, undefiled and unfading reserved for us. This inheritance is eternal life.

So beyond protection…
Beyond provision…
Beyond guidance…
There is a deeper joy in knowing that our Father has prepared something eternal for us.

But here is something else we must understand. This inheritance is accessed through the journey of sonship.
And the journey of sonship is a journey of consecration.
Being a child of God is not just a title.
It is a lifestyle.

The Bible tells us in Romans 12:1 to present our bodies as a living sacrifice.
That means daily surrender, daily alignment, daily returning to the Father.

So how do we consecrate ourselves?
We spend time with the Father.
Through prayer
Through reading the Word
Through quiet moments of fellowship with Him

The journey of a child of God is not a one-time event.
It is a daily walk with the Father.
And the more we walk with Him, the more we look like Him and the more we grow into the inheritance He has prepared for us.

So if you take nothing else away from this today, remember this:
If God is your Father, you are not lacking love.
If God is your Father, your inheritance is not ordinary.
And if God is your Father, your inheritance is eternal life.
What a privilege it is to be fathered by God.
Till I write to you again, continue to enjoy the fatherhood if God.

The Jesus storyteller
Temiesoro 💡♥️

Thanks for reading The life of EASE ! It's been a while since we used that. We're going back to that though

It feels good to be back. I hope you read my welcome back mail, if you've not, you're not nice😔but still read it regardless because today is like a continuation.

On Sunday, I wrote about how January and February felt like a pause for me but I want you to know that when you decide to take a pause or wait, it should be in the right way and in the right space. And my definition of right space is with God. While waiting, I saw God as daddy.

Lately, I learnt that when you slow down long enough, you start hearing things differently. For me, it wasn’t thunder. It wasn’t a dramatic encounter. It was a quiet realization that kept returning to my heart:

God is not just my Creator.

He is my Daddy.

There’s a song I kept playing during those months.

“If this is the way You father me?

I love the way You father me.”

At first, it was just music. Then it became revelation.

Because if I’m honest, sometimes I relate to God As Lord. As the One who gives instructions. The One who corrects. The One who expects growth.

But Daddy?

That’s different.

A creator designs.

A savior rescues.

But a father stays.

And in those first two months when things didn’t fully make sense, when some prayers didn’t look answered the way I expected, when I started feeling like I was loosing myself especially when I was drained and exhausted, when certain plans didn’t work out the way I wanted. I needed more than a Creator.

I needed a Father. A father that would hug me and tell me everything would be fine.

At some point I took the pause because I started letting things get to my head especially when I hear "hello daddy" nahhh the sound of that hit differently in my hear because I wish I could say that too. While digging deep into my feelings, God whispered that he's my daddy and He's the father of all fathers.

He told me that if I needed a hug I don't need to look too far that He's there.

It was at that point I broke down and I told him I can't do it anymore. I needed him to be there physically. He told me that He's there with me physically but I choose to be the doubting Thomas and tears rolled down my cheeks again.

That night, I went for a walk and someone met me on the road and gave me a tight hug and it was a bit longer than the usual and she asked "Temiesoro how are you" I was shocked. I didn't understand what was happening until I found out that the person wasn't there physically. I looked again the person wasn't there.

I know you will say is God a woman? Na you Sabi oo😂 see this clown😂😂 I sha got a hug. I know someone might not believe but let me continue.

I went back to the hostel feeling much better and i felt more warm and less exhausted. I prayed again and He's asked me that are you ready to accept me as your daddy? I have been used to will you accept Jesus as your lord and savior but accepting Him as daddy??? That sounded odd. I agreed to the plan of accepting Him as daddy and this was where everything changed.

He made me understand that seeing God as Daddy, I will stop panicking at detours because a good father does not mismanage his child’s life.

Let that sit with you.

I thought I had not prepared so well for my Precouncil exam. I cried almost everyweek. I was frustrated. I felt like the world was going to end with me doing a project proposal with the way corrections kept coming in everyday. But God asked again, can I help? I didn't think twice and He sent help my way.

There was a day I was panicking about a specific thing and everyone that passed by me stopped by to help me until one person got it. I finished my project proposal, I passed the exam even when I felt like I had not done enough but I will still show up in church regardless. And to add, I have to dance away my pain everytime I'm there. In my waiting, I learnt he cannot mismanage my life. I was sleeping while writing the exam because I was sick and exhausted but guess what??? I still passed.

I've learnt not to panic because He's still the one sitting on the throne. He is still king. I'm living with the peace that surpasses the understanding of men. Because He's my daddy I am not anxious about anything but with prayer and Thanksgiving, I have made my request know to Him and He will do it. PANIC NOT!!!

A father provides.

Broooo as much as I felt like I didn't have much, God made a way. One day I went to the cafeteria with 200 naira in my account. I went to the caf in faith that I cannot go back to bed hungry. On getting there, I already ordered what I wanted like I had the money 😂😂 when it was almost time to pay, God brought two people my way and they started saying don't worry I will pay. That's how they didn't want to agree for each other and they splitted the bills. I felt like a princess that day.

So if He is truly Daddy, then I cannot be stranded.

Not emotionally.

Not spiritually.

Not even financially.

That doesn’t mean life will always look perfect. It means my needs will be met. It means I can rely on Him. It means I am not navigating this year alone.

A father corrects.

God made me see my imperfections and he corrected them. He showed me that I wasn't perfect and I still found myself in some sins that he wanted me to do away with. I was actually improving oo but I found myself there again. He corrected me in love and made me know that I didn't have to be perfect before he called me chosen. He chose me first then he's working on me to bring out the perfection.

And when I found myself thinking, “God, I thought I moved past this,” I didn’t feel condemned. I felt guided.

That’s what a father does. He doesn’t discard you when you stumble. He steadies you. Sometimes his corrections can come off as harsh but it is always from a place of love. He was teaching me that even when I revisit places I thought I had healed from, that doesn’t mean I’ve failed. It just means growth is layered.

Baby steps still count.

Consistency still matters.

A father sees the bigger picture when the child only sees the moment. He saw that I passed my exams even before writing it. A father keeps to His promises. He won't promise it if he can't do it. He already told me I wasn't a failure even when I fell sick during the exams, he still kept to his promise that I couldn't fail.

One of the biggest shifts in my pause was realizing that I was trying to carry things a child was never meant to carry.

Pressure.

Fear of getting it wrong.

Fear of falling behind.

Fear of not becoming “enough.”

And gently, He reminded me:

You are still a clay in My hands.

Clay does not manage itself. Clay does not rush the process. Clay does not instruct the potter.

The Clay yields to the moldings of the potter. So my dear, calm down and let God mould you.

That realization restored my confidence in a way I didn’t expect.

I thought I had lost myself somewhere last year.

But I hadn’t lost myself.

I was transitioning.

The old version of me was making room for a stronger, wiser version. And in that transition, Daddy wasn’t disappointed. He wasn’t frustrated. He wasn’t distant.

He was shaping.

A good father is a teacher and trains up a child in the way he or she should go.

He taught me that thanksgiving is not dependent on outcomes. That trust is not based on convenience. That love is not earned through performance.

He chose me before perfecting me.

I had to thank him even before I started writing the exam. I had to thank him even when I was sleeping while writing the exam. I had to do "head high, chin up" and rejoice because my daddy is working behind the scene.

He taught me that giving to others should be my lifestyle. And I should give others with the right motive. I shouldn't give because of how it would make me feel or because I have the motive that the person will return the favor one day. But I should give because that is the nature of my daddy and I am created in His image.

He taught me that even when failure comes, it shouldn't define you but shape you into a better and wiser person.

Due to the training my father, I am concerned about those I let into my life because He can't be molding me and then I begin to invite those that would destroy what he's building. More than I am concerned about those I let into my space, God is concerned about those he's sending my way. He's my father and he's intentional that's why he keeps sending intentional and great people my way.

The way the father has a role to play, the child also has a role to play. I can't call him my father if I'm not acting like his daughter. I must represent him in words and actions. Some people ask how can I be this “audacious”? I am audacious because my father is a king. He's the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. So beyond me being a king, I am a king and Priest. My father is a king oo, I rule on this earth and I reign everywhere.

One thing I've always enjoyed but made more sense to me this period is that : my earthly father could only read my countenance and facial expressions. But my heavenly father can read beyond my facial expressions but my mind too. So even the silent prayers I say in my mind, He hears it and answers me.

There was a day I was thinking about someone. In my mind I was like “This person should remember me and send me money nau” It was just a thought that flashed my mind. I didn't dig it deep to start looking for strategies to message the person. My guyyyy.… in less than 2hrs I got a credit alert even without sending a message to the person.

I know some of these things might not make sense to you. But let me tell you that it is a great opportunity to be fathered by the almighty. He's the father of all fathers.

And if you’re reading this thinking, “But things haven’t worked out for me yet,” I want to gently remind you:

God is beyond a creator.

He is Daddy.

Sometimes Creators build and step back.

Fathers build and stay.

He is beyond a creator. He is a father. If He is your Father, then your life is not random. Your delays are not neglect. Your detours are not abandonment.

He cannot mismanage you.

And because He is Father, He is Provider, Healer, Keeper, and Restorer.

Which means your needs will be met, in His wisdom, in His timing, and in His way.

The pause taught me that I don’t have to take the biggest step first. I don’t have to prove strength. I don’t have to rush growth.

I just have to trust the hands shaping me.

What a privilege it is to be fathered by the Almighty.

Not just instructed.

Not just corrected.

But Fathered.

So if this year isn't unfolding the way you planned…

If it hasn’t been to your taste…

If you're trying to plan something and it doesn't seem like it's working out,

If you feel like you’re in between who you were and who you’re becoming…

Lean back.

You have a Daddy.

And He cannot mismanage your life. And there is no you without Him. My dear, God is calling you today into his fatherhood. He's calling you to enter His daughterhood era. Yeild to the call and enjoy the benefits of having an Heavenly father even when you still have your earthly father. You don't have to loose your earthly father before you see God as a father. He's the father for all. The father to the fatherless and the Father even to those that have Fathers.

I really hope this brings comfort to your mind and soul. Anyway, happy new year 😁

I know it’s already March. Most people began the year two months ago. A lot of people started New goals. New declarations. New energy. Timelines were posted. Vision boards were made. Words for the year were chosen.

There was the urge to just run and start the new year again.
But I didn’t start.
Not because I was confused.
Not because I had no vision.
Not because I lacked direction.
I just wasn’t ready to move yet.

January felt like a pause. A real pause. The kind that forces you to sit with yourself. February felt like processing. Like everything I had pushed aside was asking to be examined. Every lesson I learned were not fully understood.
I didn’t feel the urgency to start anything. I didn’t feel the pressure to announce anything. What I felt was the need to sit still and think before acting.
And for the first time in a long time, I listened.

The first two months were not about building. They were about understanding. I needed to think, startegize and know what to do before I do anything.

Last year taught me a lot. But I realised I hadn’t fully sat with those lessons. I carried experiences into the new year without examining them. I carried lessons I never stopped to ask if I had actually applied them. I carried patterns I didn’t question. I carried reactions I excused as, “That’s just how I am.”
And I didn’t want to do that again.

Towards the end of last year, I noticed something quietly unsettling. I wasn’t smiling the way I used to. I felt like I wasn’t me. I missed the version of me that took random pictures. That made videos with a happy heart. That showed up lightly. Somewhere along the way, I started losing that softness. That ease. That joy.

And January became the month where I asked myself why.
What changed?
What hardened?
What needed healing?
What needed to be unlearned?
Am I loosing myself?

I didn’t want fresh goals with unchanged habits.
I didn’t want new prayers with a cluttered mind.
I didn’t want to keep setting the same goals and prayer every year ( increase my GPA, grow spiritually, protect my family) without examining who I was becoming in the process.

So I paused.

Initially pausing felt like I was behind because everyone was starting one thing or the other. But I realized that Growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s quiet correction. January and February weren’t punishment. They weren’t regret. They were clarity. Clarity that brings understanding to the uncertainty.
And I’m learning that pausing is not falling behind.

In a world that celebrates speed, slowness almost feels rebellious. If you’re not moving, it looks like you’re stagnant. If you’re not announcing progress, it looks like you’re unproductive.
But I’ve started to see it differently.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is pause long enough to see clearly. And clarity doesn’t come from noise. It comes from reflection.

Reflection on who we are now and who we used to be. And if we don’t pause to acknowledge that change, we end up trying to live from versions of ourselves that no longer fit.

And here’s what I’m slowly learning:
Not every season is for elevation.
Some seasons are for alignment.
Alignment with who you are becoming.
Alignment with what you actually value.
Alignment with what God is teaching you quietly, not publicly.

So This year, I don’t want to build from urgency. I want to build from understanding. I don’t want to write from performance. I want to write from presence.

And if you decided to pause this year to think about your life, where you are, where you’re going, what God is shaping in you, I want you to know something:
You are not late.
You are not behind.
You are not alone.
Sometimes the pause is preparation.
Sometimes the stillness is the growth.
And sometimes, your beginning waits until you are ready to move wisely.

Remember, even when you want to take a pause or wait: waiting should be in the right way and in the right space. Wait on the Lord and He will renew your strength.
Till I write to you again, wait on the lord.

The Jesus storyteller
Temiesoro 💡♥️

Thanks for reading The life of EASE ! Truly, it is the grace of God that we are alive to see today. For everyone who started this year and is still here.

To those who lost a loved one this year, I pray the Lord comforts you, keeps you, and makes His face shine upon you. I pray that the void their absence left, God heals gently, in Jesus’ name.

Now that we are standing at the edge of a new year, I want us to talk about what we must not carry into 2026. Because 2026 is the year of audacity, the year of becoming, the year of victory, and great honour. We cannot enter it heavy.

First, unforgiveness.

I don’t know what was done to you or what was said, but please drop unforgiveness in 2025. Forgiveness may not restore the relationship to what it was, but it will free your heart. End every malice. Let go. And I pray God gives you the grace to release what hurt you.

Second, mood swings that steal your joy.

Yes, life happens. Yes, emotions are valid. But let’s not give the enemy easy access to our joy. Sad for no reason. Heavy for no reason. Tired of life for no reason. We’re not saying smile 24/7, but protect your energy. Guard your joy.

Third - Body odour.

No, we are not joking here. Body odour must not cross into 2026. Perfume is good. Deodorant is better. But good hygiene is the best. Bath well. Smell nice. Be kind to people’s noses.

Fourth - spreading rumours and negative talk.

Stop saying someone said what they never said. Stop carrying stories that are not yours. It destroys lives and damages reputations. If it’s not kind, true, or necessary - let it go.

Now, let me add these too because they are important.

Stop comparing your journey with others.

You don’t know their process. You don’t know the price. Your timing is intentional. Your journey is valid.

Stop speaking negatively about yourself.

Your words matter. Don’t agree with old wounds or labels you survived. You are not behind. You are not a mistake. Speak life.

And finally - stop neglecting your spiritual life.

God is not a last-minute option. He is the reason we are still standing. Prayer must become a lifestyle, not a backup plan. In 2026, intimacy with God is non-negotiable.

So as we step forward, let’s enter lighter.

Free from unforgiveness.

Free from comparison.

Free from negative self-talk.

Free from neglecting God.

Because 2026 is not just another year, it is the year we rise, the year we become, the year we walk boldly into all that God has prepared for us.

And if you’re still here, reading this - you already won.

See you in 2026

The Jesus Storyteller

Temiesoro 💡❤️

BLOGMAS-DAY 12 🎊

Thank you very much for your love and support❤️

The life of EASE

Dearest Gentle reader

It's finally day 12 of blogmas🎉🎉

But before we go to close the curtains and switch off the lights of our Christmas tree, I just want to pause here for a moment.

These past days of Blogmas have been little pieces of honesty. Some days were light, some days were heavy, some days felt like quiet conversations we don’t usually have out loud. And somehow, you stayed. You read. You shared. You nodded along. You felt seen, and you let me be seen too.

Thank you for making space for these words.

Thank you for reading even on days you were tired.

Thank you for allowing these entries to sit with you, even when they stirred something.

If there’s one thing I hope you’re taking with you from these days, it’s this: you are allowed to move gently. Thank you for always reading. Thank you for entering my dm to remind me. If you didn't do that, I might have stopped

Let's dive into the real talk of today.

Yesterday, we talked about weight, the kind you carry quietly, the kind no one sees but today let's talk about this habit we have.

The habit of Waiting for a change in the calendar.

Waiting for January 1st.

Waiting for permission from time before we give ourselves permission to begin.

I know the year hasn’t ended yet. I know there are still days left on the calendar. But hear me when I say this: January 1st is just a date. It is not a switch. It is not magic. It does not suddenly make us brave, disciplined, focused, or ready.

You already know what you want to do next year.

You already know the habits you want to build, the things you want to stop, the version of yourself you’re hoping to grow into.

So why wait?

Sometimes, without realizing it, we slow ourselves down because we’re waiting for a change in time to validate our change in action. We wait for a new date before we plan. Before we try. Before we make decisions. Before we take responsibility for our dreams.

But growth doesn’t respond to calendars.

It responds to obedience. To intention. To small, consistent steps.

You don’t have to wait till January 1st to start becoming who you want to be. You don’t have to wait to take yourself seriously. You don’t have to wait to begin again.

Yes, write the goals down. That part matters. But don’t stop there. Planning is good but movement is better. Start now, even if it’s messy. Start now, even if it’s slow. Start now, even if all you can do today is prepare your heart.

If you want to read more, start reading now.

If you want to pray more, start now.

If you want to be disciplined, start with today.

If you want to heal, start with honesty.

Waiting too long can make dreams feel heavier than they need to be. And sometimes, the reason we stutter in January is because we trained ourselves to delay in December.

You don’t need a new year to begin.

You need courage and you already have some.

Let this be the continuation of yesterday’s lesson: you survived the heavy parts. Now you get to move forward, gently, intentionally, without pressure, but without delay.

January will come.

Time will change.

But the work can start now.

And when the new year finally arrives, you won’t be starting from zero — you’ll be continuing from strength.

See you tomorrow🤭💃💃

I hope your Christmas shoes and clothes are ready. Your likes comments and reviews are very lovely. Thank you very much. I thought no one would read but then it's you guys that remind me I've not posted. Thank you for doing that.

I know this year hasn't been so smooth for us but you still stood by me. Thank you - but speaking of smooth, If this year felt heavy, please stay with me a little longer.

Last December, I bought a few books. Six of them. I told myself I would read them all in 2025 - a new year, a healed me, a stronger me. I read three. And maybe that alone should have told me something: that this year would not move the way I planned.

Because somewhere between January and December, I returned to a place I thought I had healed from.

I thought I had made peace with my father not being around. I thought I already moved on from the jealousy of hearing "hello daddy" I thought I had stopped asking God questions. I thought I had moved on, until someone came to me one day and asked, “Why did God watch my mother die?”

I froze.

She came to me for counsel, but I ended up being the one counseled. She came for prayers, but I became the one people prayed for. In that moment, grace did not hold my tears. I cried. I screamed. The weight on my shoulders became too much to pretend I was okay.

The weight has always been there but somehow I buried it in one part of my mind. And yet, every morning, I woke up with a smile - a lovely one, even contagious. People thought I was strong. They thought I was fine. They didn’t know that I was the one hurting the most. Yes I'm strong. Now I don't even deny because tell me how I survived. Even the bible says let the weak say I am strong.

There were moments I overreacted — not because It was the normal dramatic me, but because I was overwhelmed. Moments I wanted to give up completely. But how could I? How would I make Mama proud? Who would my friends hail and jokingly call “Minister of Health”? Giving up was not an option even when resting felt impossible.

So I cried myself to sleep on some nights. Quietly. Alone.

There were days I stood in front of the mirror just to encourage myself. I reminded myself that I am wonderfully and fearfully made. I rehearsed my smile before stepping out of the hostel not because I wanted to deceive anyone, but because i didn't want to hear things like I'm giving fake smile.

This year was heavy for me. And no one really knew.

So if this year felt heavy for you too, please know this: sometimes heaviness doesn’t mean failure. Sometimes it means you were carrying more than you realized. Sometimes it means you were strong longer than you should have been.

You’re not weak because you broke down.

You’re not behind because you had to revisit old wounds.

Healing is not a straight line, sometimes it circles back just to close a door properly.

If you smiled through pain, you were brave.

If you kept going while hurting, you were resilient.

If you survived a year that no one clapped for, you still won.

So take a breath. Lay the weight down. You don’t have to explain how hard it was. God saw it. Heaven recorded it.

And one day, you’ll look back at this version of yourself. The one who held pain and still chose grace and you’ll be proud.

If this year felt heavy, it’s because you were growing muscles you didn’t ask for but will need.

You did well, Gentle Reader.

Even when no one noticed.

Especially when no one noticed.

You did well.

Till 2026, stay strong. Wipe your tears because better days are ahead.

The Jesus storyteller

Temiesoro💡❣️

BLOGMAS - DAY9🎊

Dearest Gentle Reader,

The life of EASE

Dearest Gentle Reader,

Can we just pause for a second and ask one important question:

Thanks for reading The life of EASE ! Time really did not warn us.

Today feels like one of those days where the only right thing to do is to say thank you. So here are five things I am grateful for in 2025.

First, I am grateful for God.

For His presence. For His mercy. For the fact that He never left me alone. From the moment I started this year even in moments where I didn’t feel strong or sure, God stood by me. His goodness chased me relentlessly. His love never ran out. Never-ending. Truly never-ending.

There were times I looked back and realized that even when I thought I was walking alone, He had already gone ahead of me. And for that, I am deeply grateful.

Second, I am grateful for the gift of men — my friends.

Honestly, I don’t think I would have survived 2025 without good friends. This year, friendship showed me another dimension. People surprised me. They showed up when I didn’t expect them to. They encouraged me. They carried me when I was tired.

Yes, we had misunderstandings. Yes, there were ups and downs. But overall, I experienced friendship in a way I never had before. And I now understand that good friends are not common, they are gifts. Truly, gifts of men.

Third, I am grateful for academic growth.

Yes, my CGPA increased.

Not exactly the way I imagined, not as big as I hoped, but it increased. And I’ve learned something important: if I don’t appreciate the little wins, I shouldn’t expect bigger ones. So today, I say thank you for progress. Thank you for growth. And I trust that God is doing even more in 2026.

Fourth, I am grateful that I was never stranded.

Not academically. Not financially. Not emotionally.

There was never a point in 2025 where I was completely stuck. Even when I said, “I don’t have money,” I still had something. ₦10k. ₦2k. Sometimes less — but never nothing.

I remember one day so clearly, I had ₦300 in my account. ₦300. I calculated quickly and realized I couldn’t even buy beans. I went back to my hostel, drank garri, slept for about two hours… and woke up to ₦15,000.

From where to where?

God dropped my name in people’s hearts. And just like that, help came. I was never stranded, not even at the edge of the cliff. And for that, I am grateful.

Finally, I am grateful for growth and patience.

I may not fully recognize it yet, but I know something has changed in me. I am not the same person I was before. I grew. I matured. I learned patience - real patience.

The patience I had in 2024 is not the patience I carry in 2025. I learned how to wait on God without rushing Him. I learned to choose peace. To pause. To trust timing.

And somehow, through it all, I became more gentle, more grounded, and yes, more beautiful on the inside.

2025 taught me many things. But above all, it taught me gratitude.

And that alone makes this year worth remembering.

See you tomorrow,

The Jesus Storyteller

Temiesoro💡❣️

Thanks for reading The life of EASE ! That place you think you failed? It became a point of growth. That disappointment you didn’t plan for? It quietly became a turning point. Some of the biggest changes in your life happened so subtly that you didn’t even notice them happening.

You are greater than you think.

Your life is not bound by the mistakes you made in 2025. It is not limited by the resolutions you didn’t tick off or the goals you’re already scared to rewrite for 2026. Be gentle with yourself. Appreciate yourself especially for the little things.

For the days you showed up when you wanted to hide.

For the moments you thought no one would come through for you and somehow, someone did.

For choosing better friendships.

For positioning yourself around people who love you well. That was not accidental. That was wisdom.

Even when things didn’t go according to plan, you were still growing.

Maybe you set ten goals for the year and only achieved two. Let me tell you something: those two still count. Growth is not cancelled because the list is incomplete. Progress is progress even when it’s quiet.

I know you cried this year.

I know you laughed too.

But Please, hold on to the laughter.

2025 is not the end of it.

This year taught you what strength looks like not loud strength, but steady strength. It taught you fairness, patience, kindness, and love. And I am proud of you. Truly. You may not think it’s a big deal. You may scroll past people announcing cars, titles, visas, and massive wins and feel small. But hear this: your wins don’t have to look loud for them to be valid.

You’re alive, that’s a win.

You can still call your friends and they want to hear your voice that’s a win.

You’re still loving, still trying, still hoping, that is a win.

You came through this year. That alone makes you a winner.

I don’t know how you imagined this year would look. I don’t know what you’re feeling right now. But I know this: you won this year. Deep down, you know it too.

Lift your head.

Remember who you are.

This year came and you won.

Next year will come and you will still win.

Jesus has you. Always.

And with that,

I’ll see you tomorrow, Gentle Reader 🤍

BLOGMAS-DAY 7🎊

My crush🤗🤗🤗

The life of EASE

Dearest Gentle Reader,

It’s another day of Blogmas, and today I’m feeling nostalgic, the soft, embarrassing kind of nostalgia that makes you laugh, sigh, and ask yourself, “God, was I really like this?”

Thanks for reading The life of EASE ! Four solid years of premium feelings. When I think about it now, I just shake my head and whisper, “Goodness… you were a mumu.” 😂

He was a fine boy, the kind that didn’t even try. And of course, many people noticed. About five girls noticed. Including me, that made us six. Six warriors. Chain struggle. The competition was not smiling.

I used to look forward to seeing him in class. He sat behind me in JSS2, and sometimes, I didn’t even have anything to pick at the back. I would just turn and look into his eyes. Those eyes… they had the perfect colour. At some point, I had already started imagining how our children’s eyes would look. Don’t judge me. I was young and in love.

I also loved that he was smart. I’ve always liked smart men. One day, he casually mentioned he wanted to be a doctor. Me, already nursing material, immediately started planning our future hospital together. CEO and CEO. Power couple.

His clothes were well ironed. The Gators was one point. He could pass as the neatest student. He was tall too. Tall enough to make me fantasize about being the queen to a Delta man. And his voice? Gentle. Calm. Deep enough to confuse destiny. I didn’t even understand the appeal of deep voices before, but I knew his was perfect.

We became close, very close.

He helped me academically. He taught me after school and on Saturdays. And Gentle Reader, let me tell you something shocking: I moved from 29th position to 8th position in class. I was shocked. My teachers were shocked. Even I didn’t believe myself.

Till today, I cannot love someone who is not smart. I must see impact. If my grades don’t improve, what are we doing?

Then one night… drama.

Some girls called me aside. I thought they wanted to beat me. My heart was beating like NEPA transformer. But no they came with a warning. They said I was doing NM (Notice Me). They said I should leave him alone. That he didn’t love me. That he had a babe.

Ah.

That day, I thought about my life. Me that had already named our unborn children. I was already attaching his surname to mine. Me that was planning eye colour. Anytime I wrote "forget me not" On the wall I will use his surname and my name and the cancel it. Now they were telling me to let go. As how nau?

But their warning did nothing to me. Love had already entered my bloodstream.

Sometimes, his gentle voice would brush my ears “Are you fine?” and I would get chills. Literal chills.

SS1 came. We were both science students, just like the plan. But we weren’t in the same class. Still, we had Agriculture and Fishery together, and he would come to my class. We would hold hands during lessons. I was gone. Finished. In love.

My classmates noticed. They whined me endlessly. They even composed songs about my love life. One day, I was supposed to go for extra lessons, but the conversation we were having was already getting sweet. I skipped lesson. I chose love. 😂 We laughed, the bell rang, and I returned to class smiling like someone that had seen vision.

One loving day, I heard rumours that he was dating someone. I brushed it off. Love continued.

Until the plot twist.

He started dating my friend.

And not just any friend — my namesake.

Ah.

So when he said he liked Goodness, it wasn’t me. Ewooooo😂🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️

My heart shattered quietly. I didn’t cry. I just accepted it. They even told me earlier. If only I had listened. My friend told me herself, and I smiled and said I was happy for her. It wasn’t from my heart, but it wasn’t from wickedness either.

I genuinely wanted their relationship to flourish. After all, if she collected Valentine gift, we would share it. That’s friendship. Not like if he even asked me out, I might have not accepted because I knew it will end at the blue gate Or I might have accepted because I just wanted to explore.

That was my secondary school love story.

Today, my namesake and I are still friends. As for my crush, we talk once in a while just checking up on life. I’m studying nursing. He’s also in the medical field. Funny how some dreams don’t come true the way we imagined, but still circle back somehow.

It’s still Blogmas season.

And this is one of those stories you smile about, laugh at, and thank God you survived.

See you tomorrow,

Gentle Reader 🤍

Temiesoro💡❣️

Thanks for reading The life of EASE ! Yes, I know Day 4 and Day 5 had to hold hands and walk together. Life happened. We move.

Now, let me ask you something. Have you noticed this trending thing musicians do sometimes? This very interesting habit where we take a perfectly secular song, dust it a little, sprinkle “Jesus” inside, and then present it as gospel?

Because me? I’ve noticed. And I don’t like it. It's annoying

Somewhere along the line, we started changing, we dropped the anointing and focused only one the gift and truly, many of them are gifted. But gift is not supposed to be an excuse. Why do we keep changing lyrics of worldly songs and calling it praise? Why must every popular tune be baptized by force?

There is abundance in Jesus. Plenty.

So why are we recycling melodies that were never meant for the altar?

If you must, go to the cave of Adullam. Retreat. Pray. Cry. Wait. Let something genuine come out of you. Not every song needs editing; some need inspiration.

I’m never surprised when people say, “The world has entered the church.” And before someone shouts, “The church is the people!” yes, we know. The church is not the building. But surely, we can still tell when lines are being blurred unnecessarily.

Because listen inserting Jesus into a song does not automatically transform it.

It does not cleanse it.

It does not redeem the intent. In fact, it just makes things worse because no matter what you change the lyrics to, your congregation will still be singing the original lyrics.

Recently, I was scrolling through Instagram just minding my business and I saw a certain minister. This minister is very fond of doing it sha and it's not good. I really hope someone can tell her. Anyway, she took a very popular secular song by Adekunle Gold "many people" and sang it during a praise session.

Everything was going fine until she sang the song then the line that says, “Eja nla no be small fish oo" She changed it to "Jesus must be glorified oo”

I paused.

I blinked.

I asked myself, Why? Brooo whyyyyy???

You don't have to nau. They will start taking Christianity as a joke.

The original artist sang that song the way he did for a reason. Meaning mattered. Context mattered. You didn’t have to touch it. You could have just lifted your hands and sang “Glory be to God in the highest Amen". Simple.

We have plenty songs that you can sing. Why did you pick that song?

This is why, till today, I am careful about the Christian music I consume. Not because God is not present, but because intention matters. Method matters. Patterns matters. As much I don't want to talk about it, This one pinched me o just had to.

Let's not even talk about how we are quick to call people music ministers. Someone will sing on TikTok and before you know it you will start seeing their faces on church fliers. Broooo from where to where?? 😂😂 that one dey amaze me. This person just went viral like yesterday and now the person is a minister?? My Brian can't phantom. I'm very sorry.

Hold on, Am I? I don't think so.

There is no shortage of inspiration in heaven. Angels sing daily. If you need melodies, ask God. Let heaven whisper something fresh to you. Don’t borrow from a space that wasn’t meant for worship and then force it into the sanctuary.

There are gifts, yes we know but let's not forget the anointing that comes with the gift. Let's not forget the giver of the gift before we let people hold microphones on our altar.

Upcoming musicians, learn.

Those already doing it, please seek change. It is very wrong to bring the world into the church.

Shay na like this una wan shift the culture??

If this is the culture shift you guys are doing, I rather not shift anything at all.

Ire oo

Until I write to you again, remember it's still blogmas season.

Listen carefully. Discern deeply.

And remember: not everything that sounds spiritual is inspired.

The Jesus Storyteller

Temiesoro💡 ❣️

Thanks for reading The life of EASE !
