Labor Day is creeping up on us, which means I am already pulling my summer dresses and wondering if I should put the whites away. I know, I know. It is a little early. But the as the temp changes, the fall routines creep in, and suddenly I am looking for comfort food again 🧚🏻‍♀️

I have been living life through distractions, but have missed writing, so here I am❤️

I am trying to be better at this

I am going to try to get a letter out every couple of weeks. Give or take. If I have something to say, I will say it. If I do not, I am not going to send you a note just because a calendar told me to. I was never very good at being an on scheduled-newsletter girl, and I am not going to pretend otherwise now😘

Here’s my new avi

Yes, it’s AI. I still have opsec to think about, but it is closer to my likeness than I’ve used before. My hair is straighter though, unless I get what the Brits call a curly blow. The freckle density is the same, I have more wrinkles (yay for AI botox), boobs and bod are the same - I used pics of me to make AI me. My eyes are bluer.

Generally, I don’t look this seductive, and I wear very little makeup. What you’d normally get is a dorky nerd-girl in mom-jeans with a pencil stuck in her hair who’s frantically looking for the reading glasses already on her head, like this:

September is the cheater’s start line

Summer is busy. There are family things, work things, travel things, children heading back to school or off to university, and all the usual running about that somehow becomes a full-time job. Then September arrives, the house settles into a different rhythm, and people get a little room to think about themselves again.

That is often when the private questions start. What do I want? What am I missing? What am I actually willing to change? No big declarations required. Just a little honesty with yourself❤️

What you can expect going forward

I’m going to try to get back to Medium for new blog posts and leave substack for my email updates and maybe the odd story. I was thinking of reframing it as It’s Complicated, to reflect a slightly wider range of fucked up dating situation support, like when you’re separated/divorcing, or just want to keep it quite, etc. 🤔

I created an X account again so you can find me there as (at)teresajconway being sassy. I really hate Elon, so I won’t pay for anything, but it can be fun. I may also put up some faceless youtubes, or not. We’ll see. 🥳

I still have my website, adulteryfaery.com, but it is different than the one I had on WordPress. My bf moved it from there because I wanted to pay less. Between the website and ConvertKit email list, I was paying about $1200 a year. I haven’t figured out how to sell things over there, like my guides, but that’s not my job, I have a guy for that. 🧐

I had some fun this spring writing some cheating erotica, so might do more of that too. When I first started this writing journey eight years ago, I invented a serial cheater and nympho, named Ella. She’s stuck with me, so I wanted to explore more of her sexuality. Those are on amazon 🔥

Cuffing season is not far off

Cuffing season is the name for pairing off with someone to overwinter with. It was first popularized in rap culture and grown from there. It comes from handcuffing yourself to a person who is safe, comfortable, and fun for a little longer than a hookup. Usually lasts until spring starts making everyone restless again.
