And then I did the thing I always do when the world hands me something too big to feel all at once: I pulled up her chart.

Because here’s the thing about Dolly Parton. She wasn’t just a good person who happened to have money. She was proof of concept. She was the answer to a question I meditate on frequently, that we explore in my business coaching containers, in my DMs: but what happens when a woman like me actually gets rich? Does she get cold? Does she get guarded? Does the money change her into someone smaller?

Dolly’s whole chart — and her whole life — says: no. It makes her more of who she already was. It just gives her more room to be it in.

Money has never been the root of all evil- it just amplifies who you already are and Dolly proved that.

Her placements, real quick, for the girls in the back:

Sun in Capricorn. Mercury in Capricorn. Venus in Capricorn. Capricorn is the sign of legacy, of structure, of “I will build something that outlives me and I will do it with my own two hands, thank you very much.” That’s the mountain-climbing, empire-building, never-late-to-a-meeting energy underneath every rhinestone. Steady as they come.

Moon in Virgo. Rising in Virgo. This is where the myth of “just a dumb blonde” falls apart completely… I love under her drawl and big hair and infamously bigger chest, there was a strategist who was always 10 steps ahead. Virgo also is the sign of BEING smart- not just talking about it. Virgo is also the sign of service, precision, and devotion to the details nobody else bothers to notice. That double Virgo is why the giving was never a photo op. It was giving from a place of “of course” instead of obligation. It was showing up in person to hand a teenager a check privately and with no media fanfare.

And then her Mars in Cancer. This is the one people skip past and it’s the one that explains everything. Mars is how we fight. Cancer is home, family, the people who raised you. Dolly’s entire warrior energy was pointed at home. Not ego. Not domination. Protection. She fought for her county, her kin, her people, the way a mother fights for a kid… quietly, fiercely, and without needing credit for it.

Put that all together and you get the actual archetype I’ve been trying to name and embody and teach for years: the Sacred Party Girl who becomes the Matriarch Millionaire. The woman who never stops being fun, never stops being herself, and uses the money not to build a moat around her life but to build a bridge for everyone else’s. I’m crying just writing that because… how beautiful. What permission she gave us.

Here’s what that looked like, in some receipts. This list is by no means extensive:

1. 1988: The Buddy Program. She paired up 7th and 8th graders in her home county and told them: if you both graduate together, I’ll hand each of you $500 myself. The dropout rate in Sevier County went from 35% to 6%. That’s not charity, that’s Capricorn strategy wearing a Virgo’s attention to detail.

2. 1995: The Imagination Library. A free book, every month, to every kid from birth to kindergarten who signs up, no means-testing, no proving you’re poor enough to deserve it. That’s the whole ethos right there — nobody has to perform lack to receive.

3. 2016: The Smoky Mountain wildfires. While the cameras were still rolling on the disaster, she skipped the press conference and just started wiring $1,000 a month to families who’d lost their homes, for six months straight. Mars in Cancer doesn’t wait for permission to protect its people.

4. 2017: Vanderbilt’s Children’s Hospital. After watching her niece Hannah go through leukemia treatment there as a kid, she gave a million dollars to the pediatric cancer program. Not a foundation announcement. A thank-you to the people who saved someone she loved.

5. 2020: COVID research. A million dollars to Vanderbilt’s research, some of which helped fund what became the Moderna vaccine. She said at the time she felt proud to be “part of that little seed money.” Capricorn doesn’t need to be the whole harvest. It just needs to plant.

6. 2022: The hundred million. Jeff Bezos handed her a $100 million Courage and Civility award, hers to redirect wherever she wanted. No strings, no board to answer to. That’s what it looks like when a woman has spent forty years being trustworthy with money- eventually, the money starts finding her.

7. 2022: Back to Vanderbilt. Another million, this time for pediatric infectious disease research. Once she found a place doing good work, she didn’t need a new reason to keep showing up for it.

8. 2022: Full tuition for Dollywood employees. Full-time, part-time, seasonal — didn’t matter. If you worked for her, your education got covered. That’s matriarchal leadership: you don’t just employ people, you invest in who they’re becoming.

9. 2023: A million to the Salvation Army. Quiet, unglamorous, exactly the kind of gift that doesn’t trend, which is exactly why it matters.

10. 2024: Hurricane Helene. A million from her personally, another million from her businesses and foundation, for a storm that hit a state that technically wasn’t even hers to fix. She helped anyway.

Here’s the part I actually want you to sit with: Dolly Parton gave away more money in her lifetime than most of us will ever hold, and not one person on that list was made to feel small for needing it. No lecture about bootstraps. No “well when I was poor I just worked harder.” She grew up in a one-room cabin and never once used that story as a stick to beat other people with. She used it as a reason to build the ladder wider.

That’s the whole thing, isn’t it. When women- real matriarchs, women who lead with their heart before their ego- get money, they don’t hoard it and they don’t weaponize it. They redistribute it like it was always meant to move. It’s not about being a martyr either; Dolly kept her wigs, her rhinestones, her jokes, her fun, her whole entire self, the entire way through. That’s the Sacred Party Girl part. Fun was never the opposite of powerful for her. Fun was the strategy. Joy was the fuel that let her keep giving for sixty years without burning out into bitterness.

She said it better than I ever could in one of my all-time favorite quotes from her: “Find out who you are and do it on purpose.”

She did. On purpose, in rhinestones, with a checkbook in one hand and a joke in the other, for eighty years.

Rest easy and in peace, Dolly. The books are still coming. The buddies are still graduating. The lights in Sevier County are still on because of you. We’ll take it from here.

It was definitely out of my comfort zone but I decided to post it to my personal instagram which at that time was mostly blurry food photos and pics of me and my sisters. Yay! Being seen. I was DOING it. I was… so brave.

And almost immediately, I got hate.

Not criticism. Not feedback. Hate and shade… the kind that isn’t actually about you at all, it’s about the person typing it and everything they haven’t dealt with yet. And, also, some people in my life TEASED me. Which for me might actually be way worse than hate and shade from random trolls on the internet.

But, here’s the thing that really surprised me: I noticed- somehow, almost inconceivably as a recovering don’t-rock-the-boat, don’t perceive me, people-pleaser- I didn’t really care.

I had felt SO seen by that article and the title that it healed something in me and brought back all of these fragmented parts of me into my present self. The little girl in me who made potions and talked to nature and always knew magic was real. The teenager who cast angsty spells and always felt like a bit of an outsider except for when she was operating in the mystical or imaginative realms- or listening to Alanis Morrisette. The 25-year-old me who felt so damn lost in the performance of trying to present as a norm-core human while her soul was slowly being sucked out. All colliding together in one big sonic boom moment seeing that magazine page.

It also helped me find a whole lot of cool, new powerful woman who I ended up working with and collaborating with. It also helped me find myself- consecrating and codifying a version of me I was working on in private for years.

That one article liberated something in me and presented me with a sort of revealed truth: you have to show up as you, for you — because the unhappy people are never going to be happy either way. Not with a softer version of you. Not with a smaller one. Not with a more palatable, more digestible, more “relatable” one. Give them nothing and they’ll still find something. So you might as well give them everything.

It was a timeline jump that’s for damned sure. It’s when I also realized basically everything I wanted- and was ready to be- was on the other side of being seen.

Here’s the part that took me a little longer to learn… showing up isn’t as simple as just posting.

Yes, you need strategy. I’ll never tell you strategy doesn’t matter, it does. But strategy alone will get you seen and gutted in the same week if that’s all you’re bringing to the table. What actually matters more is knowing who YOU are, underneath the caption and the content calendar. And you need the spiritual, energetic, and witchy tools to hold that — to feel divinely directed and divinely protected while you do it. Without that, being seen doesn’t expand you. It doesn’t accelerate you. It just siphons you. Slowly, post by post, it will suck your soul right out of your body and you will just chalk it up to hating social media.

I hate to break it to you but social media is a spiritual incubator of sorts. It’s a stage and, more than that, it’s a mirror for exactly how you treat yourself everywhere else.

The boundaries you don’t set with a client show up as the boundaries you don’t set in knowing when to stop scrolling. The way you compare yourself to your siblings when you go home for Christmas shows up as the way you compare your life to a stranger’s highlight reel. The joy you already lost in your actual life from feeling under expressed shows up in how social doesnt feel fun anymore. The way you respond to a false sense of urgency and made up metrics is probably showing up IRL too. And the way you’ve outsourced your worth to what other people think of you offline? That’s all the same shadow.

But here’s the good news: what got wounded there can get healed there too.

Social media isn’t only the mirror for the dysfunction- it’s also a legitimate place to practice the repair. You can practice boundary-setting in a comment section before you practice it at your family dinner table. You can practice not checking the numbers every ten minutes the same way you practice not checking for approval from everyone in your life before you make a big decision. It’s low-stakes enough to rehearse in and high-stakes enough to actually count.

And it’s also, underneath all of that, a genuine site of witnessing- which is a real and necessary part of any transformational journey. The declaration. The trying-on of a new identity before it’s fully broken in. The moment someone else sees you claim something and it becomes a little more real because it was seen. Humans have always needed a witness to make a threshold feel crossed. The internet is just the newest room where that can happen.

Keeping up with the “algorithm”, trends and people-pleasing aesthetics are all just a microcosm for doing that good girl exhausting tap dance that leaves so many of us feeling utterly depleted and drained.

I’ve spent the last seven years since then working with the reluctant-but-pulled ones. The sensitive ones. The leaders, the artists, the healers, the creatives, the founders who feel the calling long before they feel ready for it — the ones who know they’re supposed to be seen and are terrified of exactly that.

And wow. It has been a ride. Here is a non-exhaustive list of things I learned:

1. The universe doesn’t ease you into visibility. It ambushes you with it- and, yeah, it happens while your real life obligations just keep barreling on. My second big cosmic coming out came in the form of a corporate legal standoff. In 2018, I stood up to Starbucks for trampling my IP during a North Node in Leo transit- it was transiting my 2nd house and, for me, it was all about owning the heart-centered, shaky-leg courage to stand up for my ideas, my creativity, my worth. And, of course the South Node in Aquarius in my 8th house, meant I tapped into a lot of power knowing I was backed by the collective, my future self, my local Brooklyn community.

   I didn’t plan to be launched into next level visibility as some organized campaign or carefully orchestrated launch- it was just sort of sprung upon me while I was trying to keep two small businesses afloat so I was doing this work in between paying invoices, driving a delivery van all over the 5 boroughs and Long Island and navigating the roller coaster that is managing employees and a brick and mortar.

   

   There was no planning or time to prep- I mean, yes, technically my ancestors gave me a warning weeks before it happened that something big was coming. They told me it was time to break the generational curse of bowing down to the big dogs because you have to for survival. Literally an intuitive healer told me there was about to be a David and Goliath showdown which I thought was just some sort of spiritual metaphor but nope. My ancestors were like “b*tch, wake up and grab your damn slingshot- you have a Unicorn Latte to protect.”

   Even with that coming through, somehow (she says sarcastically) I was not prepared on the 3D, earth level but I knew this was bigger than it appeared on the surface level so I just kept saying yes, doing the challenging work turning to face outward and standing tall when my old programming wanted to curl up under my covers and stay in bed for a week and just be like: OH NEVER MIND. But, boy, I am so happy I kept showing up and sharing my story and pushing back because it forever changed me.

2. You will “hide behind” a business or a label before you eventually outgrow it (slash get thrown into the deep end and have no choice but to share your voice). I was able to show up so easily to promote Montauk Juice Factory. The End Brooklyn. CosmicRx. These are all fantastic businesses that I am wildly proud of and also, if I’m honest, they were safe places I could be excellent without being known. Hiding behind products, campaigns and viral moments where my voice was woven through but never really adding anything impactful from my personal perspective. It’s easy to get likes and engagement when you’re not really risking anything… BUT you will eventually start to feel restless. I have found every heart-centered entrepreneur has a version of this. It’s very tempting to hide behind a brand but eventually the pesky pull to be share from the heart turns from a whisper to a roar.

   

3. Chiron doesn’t care about your goddamn content calendar. My Chiron is in Gemini — the wound of being misunderstood, of having something true to say and doubting your right to say it out loud. So for me, when it came time to write a book that wasn’t really the challenging part of the book process- I have a lot to say in public and I found help with an amazing writing coach to stay on task and meet my deadlines and workshop my ideas. Where I ran into a HUGE block is when it came time to promote it- to be consistent and clear and, cringe, self- promotional.

   It’s very on the nose to have my Chiron wound affect the ability to share my voice and ask me to do the one thing I really was scared of but, the truth is for all of us, our Chiron wants to be integrated through our identity. No matter what sign or house yours is in, being seen online reopens your Chiron wound on purpose. Not to hurt you or punish you. But to finish healing it in public, which is the only way Chiron actually closes the loop.

   And Chiron doesn’t want you outsourcing your healing to a social media intern, Claude, Chat or whatever shortcut you are looking for. Strategy without self-knowledge is just, like, another hiding place but now in a pitch deck or Notion board. Strategy is safe. It’s provable, measurable, defensible. Being seen isn’t any of those things. You can’t A/B test your own heart’s wild messy truth. At some point the spreadsheet ends and it’s just you, standing there, asking if you’re sick of your own sh*t enough to finally get out of your own way. And, on that note…

4. I realized“I Will Not Be Shamed” isn’t some Pinterest quote. It’s a prerequisite. It’s the title- and mantra- of the Scorpio/8th House chapter in my book but I don’t think even I realized how much it would be important to come back to time and time again as I practiced Next-Level Visibility last year. Being seen isn’t just about the spotlight- you need to go in and do the terrifying-but-important warrior work of going DEEP into the shadow work.

   Of putting on your cosmic cave spelunking gear and going in and rescuing, reclaiming the fragmented pieces of you, of journey back in time to the child and teenage versions of you that were told it wasn’t safe to be seen. For so many reasons- they heard: “it’s safer to hide your light and yourself from the world.” They are carrying shame from someone or something else that is not theirs and it is your job, your sacred DUTY, to declare this “I will not be shamed” over and over until they start to believe it. This is not something you say once in some cute meditation session and move on from.

   

   You have to have this beating in the background like a drum, to have it tattooed on your forehead as you go deeper and deeper within. It’s the sentence you repeat every single time you post something true and your nervous system screams that someone’s about to catch you, find you, leave you for being you.

   It's also the alchemical spell we must cast- especially as women in the world- because chances are the shame we have been carrying is actually on behalf of those who SHOULD feel shamed — the abusers, the oppressors, the parasitic sociopaths who feed off the light. This mantra is your way of saying RETURN TO SENDER. We are not carrying the weight of their shame for them anymore, babe.

5. You have to know who YOU are — so no one else gets to tell you. This is the part people skip because, in the world of social media experts telling you this is the hook, the content style, the format that will guarantee tens of thousands followers overnight but NONE of that means anything if you don’t know who you are behind it. And, operating from that place of performing a persona will always have you reeking of desperation, putting your hand out begging for a few loose coins thrown at you by the way of half-distracted Instagram scrollers like you are some overlooked street busker.

   You are not background noise to overlook- you are here to command the light of a thousand stadiums and arenas but you have to do that from a place of feeling so goddamn locked in on who you are.

   

   Most of what gets called “being seen” online is actually being seen as a carefully crafted persona: a highlight reel, a niche, a carefully art-directed version of a person who’s easier to package than the real one. That version can go viral. That version can even build a business. But it can’t be protected, because there’s no root underneath it. You can’t call your energy back to a character. You can’t cord-cut on behalf of someone you invented. You can’t enjoy the fruits of labor of a life that isn’t really yours. And you definitely can’t stand your ground when a stranger tells you who you are, if you were never fully sure yourself.

6. Let your natal chart be your ally and your AI (astrological intelligence) assistance as you move through this. The language of your soul is waiting to be unlocked through astrology, and not as a personality quiz or daily horoscope, but as a mirror you actually have to sit with. Your chart doesn’t hand you a persona or some templatized version of a personal brand. It hands you material: the wound you’re here to work with, the gift you keep underusing, the way you’re wired to lead versus the way you’ve been performing leadership because it looked safer.

   

   Self-work is what turns that material into knowing. Not “I read that I’m a Virgo Sun so I’m picky”- but sitting long enough with your own placements, your own patterns, your own history, until you actually recognize your light on sight. Until someone else’s opinion of you registers as noise instead of information, because you already did the work of (f*cking around and) finding out. That’s when things become magic, you feel magnetic. You start having fun and feeling utterly unf*ckwithable because the internet cannot define you if you got there first.

   Once you know who you are — really know on the bone-deep, heart, chart-and-shadow-and-all — nobody else’s comment section gets a vote on your sense of self-value. They can still say whatever they want. It just stops landing anywhere- it basically goes to the Spam folder of your Soul’s inbox because there’s no open question left in you for their opinion to answer.

7. Energy hygiene is a must. You do also need the spiritual tools to feel divinely protected while you show up. Otherwise being seen doesn't expand you- it drains you. I don’t want you to think you have to be protected like armor- but, instead, protected like a root system. Protected like you’re anchored to something that doesn’t move just because a troll in the comment section decided to project their wounds onto you. Protected like it’s okay if you get unfollows after you post something that is wildly true to your heart because you know that allows more space for your aligned people to find you.

After helping thousands of people do this, I realized here is what nobody is telling you before you step into the arena of being seen: attention is not neutral. It’s energy, and energy has to go somewhere. If you don’t have a practice- a ritual, a boundary, a way of coming back into your body- that energy doesn’t just pass through you. It lodges. It becomes the thing you replay at 2am. It becomes the caption you didn’t post that is now stuck like a knot in your throat chakra. It becomes the heat flashing across your chest thinking about that one zinger in the comment section.

At a certain point, I understood strategy alone was never going to save me, and it won’t save you either. A content calendar doesn’t protect your nervous system. A posting schedule doesn’t call your energy back to you after a stranger has spent all day sending you unsettling DMs. Hashtags alone don’t help you find the magnetic, aligned weirdo clients wanting to find you. Only the spiritual tools do that: the grounding, the cord-cutting, the salt bath, the energetic codes you weave in between the words, the freezer spells (a personal fave of my clients) and the ward upon your name you should absolutely have taped to the back of your phone before you ever open the app.

Being seen without energy work doesn’t expand you- it drains you.

It becomes a slow leak instead of a sacred exchange. You post, you brace, you check, you absorb, you repeat — and somewhere in there, the version of you that had something true to say gets smaller and smaller, because she’s spending all her energy managing the fallout or trying to optimize her insights instead of building the thing she came here to build.

Divinely protected visibility looks different. You post and you release it — like, actually release it, the way you’d release a spell once it’s cast, trusting it to do its work without you standing guard over it forever. Like planting a seed. You let the wrong people opt themselves out. You let the right people find you. And you keep enough of your own energy in your own body to actually enjoy the life you’re building offline, instead of just performing that you’re enjoying it online.

That’s the difference between being seen and being safe to be seen. One will burn you out. The other will light you TF up and is kinda the whole point.

And, again, being seen online is just a microcosm of the real world. I need my heart-centered, matriarchally minded, bad-bitches-with-good-hearts showing up. The world is changing fast and there are opportunities like we have never seen before to step into next level visibility, wealth and impact that is needed to change the world.

You cannot change the world if you are hiding from it. I repeat: you cannot change the world if you are hiding from it.

I am here to help my neuro-spacey, heart centered, witchy weirdo lover girls who always felt like they were too much, too different, too sensitive to step into their rich, famous and feral era. And to help them understand social media is an energetic tool of quantum leaping to use- not a place to live. Every unhinged comment, every moment your voice shook but you still hit post anyway, every unfiltered photo- this is the initiation working.

I remember the feeling of finishing it — that buzzing, electric aliveness of having pulled something from the invisible world and made it real. Of saying: here is what I see. Here is what I think. Here is what I made.

And then, somewhere between growing up and becoming an entrepreneur and building businesses and losing people and becoming a mother, I wrote an actual book that an actual publisher actually published and when it came time to promote it — I realized I was utterly terrified. I had no access to the fuzziness of that feeling. Or maybe I just buried it. Under strategy. Under hooks. Under quietly suffocating questions: how do I show up in a way that is perfect and professional? What will people think? Who do I think I am to take up this kind of space?

This is the story of what happened when I stopped asking those questions and instead answered the question that changed everything so I could finally step into that next level of visibility.

And, spoiler alert, I am writing this because this next year you are going to be asked to do the same.

First, the Astrology of It All

Jupiter just moved into Leo on June 30th and will stay there until July 26, 2027. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, abundance, and the divine invitation to grow. It spends roughly a year in each sign, and wherever it lands in your chart, it’s essentially handing you a golden ticket to go on a life-changing adventure… an amplified field of possibility in that area of life.

Leo is the sign of the heart. Of passion and performance, yes, but more essentially: of authentic self-expression. Leo is ruled by the Sun, and the Sun doesn’t apologize for shining. It doesn’t dim itself so the other planets feel comfortable. It is simply, completely, radiantly itself — and in being so, it makes all life possible. It is also magnetic asf.

Jupiter in Leo, which began in June 2025, is a collective invitation. For all of us. To stop performing a version of ourselves designed for approval, and start actually showing up.

But here’s the nuance most astrology content won’t give you: this isn’t about becoming more. It’s about becoming undeniably you.

Identitymaxxing. Doing what you want to do in a way that feels so playful you don’t even really care what others think. Radically, specifically, unapologetically you.

What Jupiter Did to My Life (And What It Might Do to Yours)

The last time Jupiter moved through my first house it was 2014 and I opened Montauk Juice Factory. It completely altered my visibility, my identity, and the entire trajectory of my life.

So when Jupiter entered my first house again in June 2025, I felt it coming like a weather system. I knew, cosmically and cellularly, that something was being asked of me.

What I didn’t expect was how hard I would make it before I let it be easy.

I’d just come out of a two-year Pluto square that I can only describe as a complete and total dissolution of self. In that window I had a baby, then another baby, wrote a book, and lost my mom. Two years. I didn’t know who I was anymore — not in a crisis way, but in a profound, humbling, everything I thought I was has been composted into something new but I’m not sure of what yet kind of way.

So when my book came out and it was time to show up and promote it, I did what any self-respecting Virgo Sun would do: I panicked. Then I feverishly tried to make an elaborate strategy. I researched hooks. I optimized. I endlessly researched what other authors were doing. I tried to reverse-engineer visibility like it was a problem to be solved rather than a frequency to be embodied.

The energy was flat. I could feel it. The aura? Gone.

And then — exhausted, overstimulated, running on the kind of sleep deprivation only a mother of small children knows — I knew I was not going to be able to do this with this feeling of pressure. So, I got quiet. I took it to my guides. I took it to my higher self.

And I heard, as clearly as I’ve ever heard anything:

Oh, honey, but what if you could let it be FUN?

The Permission Slip You Didn’t Know You Needed

That voice cracked me open.

Because I had written a damn book. Me — the little girl who lived at the library, who saved up for the Scholastic Book Fair like it was Christmas, who made her family sit through original skits after Thanksgiving dinner because she needed an audience and a stage and she wasn’t even a little embarrassed about it.

That little girl now has her name on a book and has access to the entire world through the palm of her hand.

And she was sitting here making content calendars.

From the moment I stopped trying to perform visibility and started actually playing in it, everything changed. Not overnight — but undeniably. There is a clear before and an after in my life I can feel from this moment.

Do I cringe at some of what I posted that summer? Absolutely.

Will I take it down? No. Because that version of me deserves to be seen. She was figuring it out in real time, in public, and that is brave and real and human, not embarrassing.

On Embracing the Cringe (Yes, It Will Set You Free)

Here is something I want to say clearly, because I think it’s important:

The cringe is not a sign you did something wrong. The cringe is the feeling of your nervous system encountering a version of yourself it doesn’t yet recognize as safe to be.

We have been so conditioned — especially women, especially sensitive people, especially those of us with wound histories around being perceived — to believe that being seen is inherently dangerous. That if we are too much, too loud, too strange, too specific, we will be rejected. And rejection, somewhere deep in the mammalian brain, still signals: you will not survive.

But here is what Jupiter in Leo wants you to understand: visibility is not vanity- it is a spiritual practice.

Being seen is how you take up space. And taking up space is how you own your power. And owning your power is how you signal to the Universe: I am ready for more. More presence, more abundance, more love, more impact, more ability to make meaningful change in this world.

Not just strategically. Energetically. The world cannot pour into a container that won’t hold itself.

I want to be honest about something, because I think a lot of you will recognize this.

As a Pisces Moon conjunct my Midheaven, I exist in a kind of beautiful and sometimes maddening dissolution. I feel everything. I see so much. And I have, genuinely, sometimes forgotten that I can be perceived — that I exist to other people as a presence in the world, not just as an internal experience of life.

My Chiron in Gemini compounds this. The wound of not knowing how to translate what I feel and see into words that land. The fear that even if I speak, I won’t be understood.

And yet.

I am an astrologer. I am an author. I built businesses from scratch. I have held space for hundreds of clients, guided them through some of the most significant moments of their lives. I actually have so much to say. And I know it helps people.

The work of this Jupiter in Leo transit — my work, and maybe yours — is not to become someone new. It’s to stop gatekeeping the person you already are and to stop trying to edit, filter, optimize your self so much that your magic starts to feel instead like milk that’s been left out on the container too long.

What Being Seen Actually Does

In case you need the list. In case part of you is still asking but why does it matter? Isn’t it just an ego thing?

Being seen is healing. For you and for the people watching. Every time you show up as yourself, you give someone else permission to do the same.

Being seen is energetic signaling. The Universe moves toward the open hand, not the closed fist. Hiding is a form of saying I’m not ready. Visibility is a form of saying I am.

Being seen creates real connection. Not followers. Not metrics. Connection. The feeling that you are not alone in this strange and gorgeous experience of being alive.

Being seen is how you become undeniably, specifically, findable by the people who need exactly what you carry.

Being seen is how you stop feeling like an impostor and start feeling like the protagonist of your own life.

Being seen is, ultimately, the thing your soul came here to do.

The Practical Magic of Being Seen

This is where I want to get specific, because I am nothing if not a practical mystic (hello Virgo Sun/Pisces Moon!) Here are some ways to begin microdosing visibility and embodying the life-changing level up of this year:

1. Wear things for you. Not for the algorithm. Not for the brand name. Not because some talking head on TikTok declared it as a “must-have for cool girls.” Wear what makes you feel like yourself — and watch how differently you move through a room, a camera, a conversation. Style is not vanity. It is one of the fastest portals to embodied identity.

2. Forget the trends all together while we’re at it. Jupiter in Leo doesn’t blindly follow what’s trending whether we're talking about clothes, interior design, manicure styles, music. Not that it doesn’t pay attention and find inspiration when it lands- it just doesn’t let itself become CONSUMED by letting other people dictate what is in or out. Leo energy is inherently counter to trend-chasing because Leo is the originator, not the follower. The most magnetic people you know are not magnetic because they’re current. They’re magnetic because they’re embodied.

3. Get dialed in on who is for you — and genuinely release the rest. This one is both spiritual and strategic. When you try to speak to everyone, you speak to no one. When you speak from your actual heart, your actual experience, your actual weird specific truth, you become findable. You become a signal. The right people are tuning for your frequency right now. Are you broadcasting it?

4. Lead from the heart, not from the strategy deck. Strategy is a tool. The heart is the engine. Leo rules the heart for a reason — because that is where true creative authority lives. What do you actually want to say? What are you tired of not saying? What feels like play to you? Start there.

5. Identitymaxxing is the assignment. Not a curated version of you. Not a brand-safe version. Not the version that’s easier to explain at dinner parties. The fullest, strangest, most vibrant multidimensional version of you is your most powerful offering. The world doesn’t need another person making themselves smaller through perfect editing, polished scripts and just sounding like everyone else. It needs you, maximized.

6. Romanticize your life — all of it. The morning coffee. The chaotic school run. The creative idea you got in the shower at 6am. The dinner you made that was actually incredible. Sacred Party Girl energy is not about being in a constant state of celebration — it’s about being in a constant state of appreciation. Of treating your ordinary life like it’s already the life you’re manifesting, because energetically, that’s exactly what it is. Joy is not the reward for arrival. Joy is the frequency that creates arrival. When you move through your days with pleasure and presence — when you are genuinely having fun being you — that energy is contagious, magnetic, and frankly, revolutionary in a world addicted to urgency and lack.

7. Be okay with being misunderstood. Chase the no. This is the one nobody talks about. The most iconic, impactful, world-changing people in history were not universally beloved in their time. Every rejection is data that you are playing a real game, taking real swings, increasing your surface area for miracles, being a real person with a real point of view — not a carefully managed content strategy designed to offend no one and move no one.

8. Live like the Cosmic Zone version of you already exists — because she does. This is both spiritual law and practical strategy. The version of you who has the speaking career, the sold-out program, the book on the bestseller list, the life that feels fully, deeply yours — she is not a future person. She is a frequency. And you access her not by waiting until you’ve earned her, but by making choices right now that are a real-life rehearsal for her reality. She doesn’t shrink in that meeting. She wears the dress. She takes the stage. She sends the pitch. She starts saying no to things below here. She posts the thing without a three-day approval process with her inner critic. Every brave, aligned, slightly-terrifying choice you make today is not just a step toward her — it is her, breaking through.*

Sometimes we read a few throw-away lines about Pluto in Scorpio (oooh, intense! Ooooh transformation!) but it is so much bigger. It is an initiation and all you have to do is look to what has already happened to understand how to work with it. It is a pattern that becomes clearer the more you zoom out, a timeline that reveals itself when you look at what us Millennials have actually lived through, and an initiation that has been unfolding collectively since birth.

The last Pluto in Scorpio generation included- but is by no means limited to- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, John Hancock, etc. And wouldn’t you know it, Pluto moved into Aquarius in 1777, in the middle of the American Revolution, and stayed there until 1798. And, as problematic as these Sons of Liberty bros might have been, they did stir some shit up in their own right.)

Our current Pluto in Scorpio generation came here to face power, to understand it, to question it, to reclaim it, and ultimately to transform it. And if we are being honest, most Millennials did not consciously choose this path in any easy or comfortable way.

Part 1: The Timeline, aka What Millennials Lived Through and Why It Shaped Them

If you want to understand Pluto in Scorpio, you cannot separate the archetype from the environment it was born into. This generation was not raised in stability or simplicity, but in intensity, contradiction, and exposure to the hidden layers of reality.

Coming of age: Economic betrayal

By the time this generation began stepping into adulthood, we were met with another defining rupture in the form of the Great Recession. What was supposed to be a transition into independence and stability instead became an initiation into economic instability, overwhelming student debt, and a shrinking job market. Many Millennials entered adulthood with the expectation that hard work would lead to security, only to realize that the system itself was not designed to support them in the way they had been promised.

What made this experience even more defining was not just the hardship itself, but the response to it.

Banks got bailed out.
Executives got bonuses.
No one took accountability.

Your generation did not just experience struggle.
You experienced systemic betrayal.

As noted in the historical context, this moment revealed to many that the narrative of steady economic progress was fundamentally flawed, and that the systems we had been taught to trust were not operating with fairness or integrity.

Cultural awakening: Calling out the system

Rather than accepting surface-level explanations, Millennials responded in a distinctly Pluto in Scorpio way by asking deeper questions about root causes. This energy became visible in movements like Occupy Wall Street, which emerged from a collective refusal to ignore the growing wealth gap and systemic inequality. At the same time, Millennials were coming of age during a massive cultural shift driven by the rise of the internet. We became the first generation to fully grow up in a digital world, where identity, sexuality, and visibility were all being redefined in real time. We witnessed the normalization of therapy and mental health conversations, the expansion of LGBTQ+ visibility and acceptance, and the increasing fluidity of identity itself. We also navigated the complexities of a culture where sex became both more visible and more commodified, and where fame became more accessible yet more performative.

We were the first generation to grow up fully online. And not just online.
In a world where:

• sex became public currency

• fame became accessible

• identity became fluid

• privacy became optional

You watched the rise of reality TV. Influencer culture. Free porn. Dating apps. OnlyFans. Queer visibility expanding in real time.

You also normalized therapy. Shadow work. Talking about trauma and mental health openly.

You made it okay to say: I am not okay and I want to understand why. You questioned everything.

Spiritual and psychological rebellion

This combination of factors created a generation that was not only exposed to the undercurrents of society, but actively engaged in exploring them. Religion? Declining. Authority? Distrusted. Tradition? Examined, not obeyed.

Millennials began questioning traditional religion, challenging authority, and turning toward alternative frameworks such as astrology, psychology, somatic healing, and ancestral work in order to make sense of their experiences. Because you probably could feel it: the wound did not start with you.

But, the truth is: it is asking to be healed through you.

The reality check: A generation under pressure

At the same time, the broader conditions of the world continued to place pressure on this generation. Let’s name it plainly.

You inherited:

• climate crisis

• economic instability

• rising costs, stagnant wages

• global conflict

• burnout culture

You were told you were lazy… while working more than previous generations.

You were told to save… while being priced out of basic living.

You were told to thrive… in systems that were already collapsing.

You also probably recently found out you were being groomed by a group of old, withered pedophilic losers like Lex Wexner and other people in the Epstein class when you thought you were just shopping for 5 for $35 thongs in the mall.

This disconnect has created a sense of being gaslit by the very systems we were trying to navigate, reinforcing their skepticism and deepening their commitment to uncovering what was actually true.

All of these experiences together have shaped us Millennials into what we are, which is a generation that has been repeatedly initiated into cycles of breakdown and rebuilding. We have experienced multiple forms of collective “death” and “rebirth” than possibly any other generation, and as a result, we have developed a resilience and depth that is fundamentally aligned with the Scorpio archetype.

Part 2: The Superpower and Soul Mission: What Millennials Are Here to Do

When you step back and look at the full picture, it becomes clear that none of this is random. Every challenge, every rupture, and every moment of exposure has been part of a larger process that has been preparing this generation for a specific role.

1. You are the truth seekers

Scorpio does not do surface. You are wired to:

• question narratives

• investigate power structures

• see what others avoid

This generation is here to do the work and lead the work in areas like:

• therapy

• somatics

• nervous system regulation

• trauma processing

You understand that healing is not about pretending and glossing over in the name of living in a “higher frequency.” It is about integration of all that makes us human.

That is why your work matters. You make it safe for the fullness of truth to exist.

3. You are the alchemists

This is your core gift.

You take pain and turn it into power. You take lead, aka the heaviness of the human experience, and turn it into gold.

Not overnight. Not perfectly.

But persistently. The Phoenix is your archetype.

You burn.
You rebuild.
You rise.

Again and again.

4. You are the system disruptors

You do not trust authority blindly.

And that is not rebellion for the sake of it. This is a fine-tuned, well-earned discernment. You are here to:

• challenge broken systems

• expose corruption

• rebuild structures that actually support people

You are not interested in maintaining what is not working.

What Comes Next

Here is the invitation…. not everyone will take it. But if you do, this is what it looks like: you stop identifying only with your pain. And start leading with your power.

As us Millennials continue to move into positions of greater influence, both culturally and politically, our impact is likely to become more visible. We have already played a significant role in shifting conversations around mental health, identity, and social justice, and these changes are likely to continue evolving in the years ahead.

The next phase of our journey involves moving from awareness to action, from understanding problems to actively participating in the creation of solutions. This requires not only insight, but also the willingness to build, collaborate, and take responsibility for shaping the future.

Ultimately, the Pluto in Scorpio generation can be understood as a group of individuals who have been trained, through lived experience, to engage with the most challenging aspects of human existence.

We are the ones who can sit with grief without being consumed by it, who can face truth without turning away, and who can use their experiences to create something that did not exist before.

We are, in many ways, the death doulas of old systems and the guides for what comes next.

And whether we fully realize it or not, we are right on time.

At the time, I knew of him. I knew people who went to him for readings. I had heard the lore. He was the astrologer who had apparently predicted the chaos of the 2000 election on Judith Regan’s show because Mercury was retrograde. Enter the hanging chad debacle. Very Mercury retrograde coded.

But I didn’t fully get it yet.

I was interested in astrology. I was curious. I was spiritually open. But I had not yet crossed the bridge from “this is fun and strangely accurate” into “wait, this is a language for understanding culture, power, history, and the nervous system of the collective.”

That came later.

Around 2016, I started studying astrology on the collective level. Not just birth charts. Not just compatibility. Not just what your moon sign says about your attachment style, although I do love those things. I started looking at outer planets. Pluto. Uranus. Neptune. The slow movers. The ones that do not care about your five-year plan because they are busy rearranging entire eras. I also was reading Cosmos and Psyche by Richard Tarnas, IYKYK.

That is when Michael Lutin’s work clicked for me.

And once it clicked, I never really looked back.

Michael was a born and raised New Yorker. He allegedly had a lot of Virgo in his chart, although he never released his official birth chart. That makes sense to me. I have always felt drawn to his mix of precision, wit, service, bite, and heart. New York Magazine described him as the “astral Mel Brooks.” The resounding party line about him was that his lectures and skits were brilliant, strange, funny, and generous. He was kind spirited. He was a genius, but he kept it light.

That is such a gift.

Because the things he was talking about were not light.

His book BOOOMM!: Horoscope USA had the tagline, “It’s the end of life as we know it. Don’t worry, though. But don’t laugh either.” The book looked at cultural, political, economic, and social transformation through astrology. That spoke directly to the sociologist and budding astrologer in me. I own that book. I also own his book SunShines: The Astrology of Being Happy, which is such a perfect example of his range. He could look at the fall of empire, then turn around and talk about happiness with that same strange, sharp, loving eye.

He was a real gift to astrology.

Michael sadly passed in November 2024 before the renewed wave of attention around his 2007 essay.

And that essay is the one I cannot stop thinking about.

It was originally published in Vanity Fair’s January 2007 issue under the title “Special Alert: Horoscope U.S.A.” The article has resurfaced because, nearly twenty years later, it reads less like a horoscope and more like a weather report from the future. Vanity Fair republished it in 2026 and described how social media users had started latching onto its unsettling accuracy.

The original archive is behind a paywall, so I wanted to share some of the takeaways here, with modern context from where we are now in 2026.

This article is one of the most definitive “if astrology isn’t real, then why…” moments of our generation, imho. In 2006, most people were not walking around saying, “Hey, I think America is about to go through a twenty-year identity crisis where big business, government, surveillance, nationalism, and collective fear all merge into one terrifying soup.”

We were not there yet.

A lot of people were tired of George W. Bush. They wanted the Iraq War to end. They wanted gas prices to go down. They wanted things to feel normal again. Many people were beginning to hope Obama could become president. There was still this cultural assumption that America would return to some calmer sitcom version of itself. Family dinners. Fun parties. A strong dollar. A vague belief that everything would work out because America was America.

But Lutin was looking at something else.

He was looking at Pluto.

Pluto takes about 248 years to move through the zodiac. In mundane astrology, which is the astrology of nations and world events, Pluto is linked with power, death, exposure, corruption, collapse, wealth, control, underworld forces, and deep transformation. It does not do surface-level change. Pluto goes to the basement. Then it asks why there are bones under the floorboards.

Lutin was writing about Pluto moving into Capricorn and opposing the United States’ Cancer Sun. He was also writing about the United States’ Pluto return, which is when Pluto comes back to the same place it was when the country was founded. The last time Pluto was in Capricorn, the American Revolution was born.

That was his point.

These cycles do not repeat in a direct copy-paste way but there is a continuation of sorts. As the expression goes, history does not repeat but it does rhyme.

The 1760s and 1770s brought questions about power, taxation, land, monarchy, liberty, empire, and who had the right to govern. Lutin argued that something similar would unfold again, except this time the pressure would come from inside the American system itself.

He wrote that privacy and personal liberties would be tightened. He said controls and laws would become more stringent. He said Pluto in Capricorn would demand conformity out of fear that difference was dangerous. He wrote that the words “patriot” and “treason” would start to lose stable meaning, with patriotism to one person looking like treason to another. Vanity Fair’s own summary of the piece highlights these warnings around conformity, stricter controls, political turmoil, and the blurring of ideology across party lines.

I mean.

Be so for real.

That is not vague.

That is not “you may feel emotional this week.”

That is a direct read on the nervous system of the 2020s.

Lutin also wrote about Capricorn as the sign of big business, hierarchy, law, control, status, institutions, and the hard architecture of society. He warned that Pluto in Capricorn would bring the ascendance of corporations in relation to government. He saw a future where business and government became harder to separate.

Look around.

The American Dream has become, for many people, an American nervous breakdown. Housing is unaffordable. Healthcare is in crisis. Student debt shaped an entire generation’s choices. Work became more precarious. Wealth concentrated. Corporate power ballooned. We’re watching our tax dollars fund genocide and destruction- all while taking away free lunches for kids in school. The myth that “if you just work hard, you’ll be fine” has been cracking in public.

That is Pluto in Capricorn.

It takes the structure and shows you the rot. Not because it hates you. Because denial is no longer an option.

This is where astrology becomes useful. Not because it gives us a perfect prediction. Not because every astrologer is always right. Not because we should hand our agency over to the sky.

Please do not do that.

Astrology is not here to replace discernment. It is not here to make us passive. It is not here so we can say, “Well, Pluto is doing Pluto, guess I’ll just dissociate and order another little treat.” (Although, yes, sometimes get the little treat.)

Astrology is a pattern language. It is data science.

It helps us understand the shape of the moment by looking to the past.

It gives us a way to zoom out without checking out.

That matters right now because so many people are looking at the world and thinking, “How did we get here?”

Astrology says, “There was a pattern.”

The planets don’t offer an excuse. They offer a pattern.

There were choices. There were missed warnings. There were systems built on domination. There were policies. There were wars. There were media ecosystems. There was greed. There was fear. There was the fact that this country was quite literally built upon racism, misogyny, extraction, colonization, toxic individuality and the comfort of people pretending things were fine as long as the pain was happening somewhere else.

Pluto in Capricorn did not create that.

Pluto in Capricorn revealed it.

And now we are living in the reveal.

The part that feels important to say, especially as a spiritual person, is that prediction is not the same as fate.

I am an intuitive and a pragmatist. I believe energy can be read. I believe patterns can be felt before they fully materialize. I also believe spiritual insight should never be used as a reason to abandon critical thinking.

Any reader, astrologer, psychic, intuitive, or spiritual worker is looking at a field of energy as it exists now. We can see themes. We can see weather. We can see likely roads based on the direction things are moving.

But we still have free will. What we do matters. What we normalize matters. What we organize around matters. What we refuse matters. What we build matters.

That is the point.

If astrology is real, then responsibility is real too.

Lutin’s article did not just say, “Bad things will happen.” It said America would have to change. It said the country would be shaken to its core. It said the old way would stop working. It said there would be a redefinition of the United States and a push toward cooperation with the rest of the world.

That is the part I keep coming back to.

The Capricorn chapter was about exposing the structures. The Aquarius chapter is about the people.

Aquarius is networks. Communities. Movements. Technology. The future. The outsider. The rebel. The collective. The parts of society that ask, “Who is being left out of the room where decisions are made?”

Pluto in Aquarius does not let us keep pretending community is a cute concept for brands to sell products. It asks who has power in the network. It asks who owns the technology. It asks whether innovation serves liberation or surveillance. It asks whether “the future” belongs to billionaires with bunker fantasies or to people building mutual aid, public care, and new systems from the ground up.

This is why the next chapter is not about waiting.

It is time to organize. It is time to mobilize. It is time to revolutionize.

And I mean that in real ways. Not aesthetic ways. Not in just a slogan on a t-shirt ways. We learned a lot during Pluto in Capricorn but this time around the revolution will not be merchandised, so to speak.

Get in community. Know your neighbors. Support local organizers. Learn skills. Build networks of care. Pay attention to what is happening in your city. Protect vulnerable people. Stop acting like posting is the same as participation. Use your voice, yes. But also use your body. Use your calendar. Use your money. Use your gifts. Use your group chats for something besides memes, although please keep the memes because morale matters.

Pluto in Aquarius asks us to remember that the future is built through networks.

I should also mention that Pluto cycles last 20 years. We will be in Pluto in Aquarius until 2044 so for those of you thinking there is no change happening or wondering why it’s taking so long: this empire wasn’t built in a day, so it won’t be dismantled in one either. But, please believe, by 2044 we will be in a whole new country.

And, I would dare to say we will start to feel a massive shift by 2032. And that’s because Uranus is now in Gemini.

Uranus in Gemini

At the time of Michael Lutin’s article, Uranus was in the last moments of Pisces moving into Aries. Now, Uranus just left Taurus (where it’s been since May 2018) and just entered Gemini on April 25, 2026. That adds another layer.

Uranus is disruption, shocks, invention, rebellion, electricity, sudden change, and liberation. Gemini is information, media, language, education, transportation, youth, neighborhoods, messaging, and the nervous system.

Uranus in Gemini is not quiet.

Historically, Uranus in Gemini has coincided with periods of major conflict and major shifts in communication. It was in Gemini during the United States Civil War and during World War II. That does not mean we are doomed to repeat those exact events. Astrology is not a photocopier. But it does mean we should pay attention to how information, propaganda, media, mobility, education, and public discourse become charged.

The information war is not a side plot.

It is the terrain.

Under Uranus in Gemini, words become weapons. Memes become political tools. Education becomes contested. Media ecosystems mutate fast. Young people become catalysts. The nervous system of the collective gets rewired.

This can be dangerous. It can also be liberating.

The Aquarius model says power moves through the network. The Gemini piece says the network is only as strong as the quality of its information.

So yes, regulate your nervous system.

I know that can sound soft compared to the scale of what we are facing, but it is not soft. It is strategy.

A dysregulated person is easier to manipulate. A terrified person is easier to control. A burned-out person is easier to isolate. A person who cannot tell the difference between intuition and panic is easier to pull into someone else’s agenda.

Regulation is resistance.

Take care of your body. Sleep. Detox from the constant feed when needed. Eat food that actually nourishes you. Take your supplements if that is part of your care. Start a garden, even a tiny one. Learn practical skills. Make your home less dependent on systems that do not care about you. Build relationships that can hold pressure.

This is not about becoming paranoid. It is about becoming prepared.

There is a difference. Paranoia isolates. Preparation connects.

Paranoia says, “Everyone is out to get me.” Preparation says, “Let me get resourced so I can show up.”

That is the energy we need.

A lot of people want astrology to tell them when the chaos ends. I get it. I would also love to receive a clean calendar invite from the universe that says, “Shit storm ends Tuesday at 4pm ET.”

But that is not how transformation works.

The deeper truth is that we are not going back.

And I do not think we are meant to.

The old normal was NOT normal for everyone. It was comfortable for some people because the suffering was outsourced. It was affordable for some because others were exploited. It was stable for some because others were kept unstable.

So when we say we want things to go “back,” we need to be honest about what back means.

Back to what?

Back to whose safety?

Back to whose silence?

Back to whose labor being invisible?

Back to whose pain being easy to ignore?

This is why Pluto is so brutal. It does not let us keep the pretty story if the foundation is rotten.

But Pluto is also a healer.

Pluto destroys what cannot survive truth. But it also gives power back to what was buried.

The shadow comes up. The secrets come up. The underworld comes up. The abuse comes up. The corruption comes up. The grief comes up. The rage comes up.

Take the recent political shift involving Viktor Orbán and his loss of consolidated power. A figure long associated with authoritarian tendencies suddenly facing resistance and pushback.

That’s Uranus energy.

Sudden reversals.
Unexpected outcomes.
The people waking up.

Astrologers have been clocking something for a long time: the last time Uranus was in Taurus (1935–1942), the world saw the rise of fascist regimes under figures like Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, and Joseph Stalin.

And before you spiral, this is not about fear. This is about pattern recognition.

Because astrology doesn’t predict. It reveals themes.

And the theme here? When the ground feels unstable, people will cling to anything that promises security.

Here’s the part we really need to understand.

In her book, Fascism: A Warning, the former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright points out that Hitler himself said his popularity came from making complex issues simple.

Not nuanced. Not thoughtful. Simple.

Digestible.
Blameable.
Repeatable.

“It’s their fault.”
“They’re the problem.”
“This is the solution.”

And when people are overwhelmed, scared, or economically unstable? Simple feels safe. This is the shadow side of Uranus in Taurus.

Strong convictions.
Rigid beliefs.
A need for control when things feel out of control.

And historically, this has shown up as obsession with land, ownership, borders, and “protecting what’s ours.”

One of the most important points Albright makes is this:

Fascism often rises through legitimate channels. It doesn’t always kick the door down. Sometimes it’s invited in. And by the time people realize what’s happening? The system has already been reshaped.

She describes this as a kind of “herd mentality.” Very Taurean also. Like a steamroller effect. Where momentum builds so gradually, so collectively, that it’s not recognized until it’s too late.

Now let’s bring it back to astrology.

Uranus in Taurus shook up the system and had people scared around resources, borders and security (all v Taurus traits).

I believe this cultivation around fear created what Albright calls “moral numbness.”

A disconnection from empathy.
A prioritization of self-interest over collective care.
A willingness to justify harm in the name of stability.

It’s giving: “I’m fine, so it’s fine.”

Even when it’s not.

But here’s the higher expression.

Because there is one.

Uranus in Taurus can also wake us up to what truly matters.

It can redefine value. It can redefine our values.
Rebuild systems.
Reconnect us to our humanity, our bodies, our shared reality.

But, in the resistance, it can ALSO look like:

• Decentralized truth-telling

• Grassroots movements going viral

• Whistleblowers and journalists rising up

• Collective awareness accelerating at warp speed

Remember: the same energy that fuels conflict also fuels awakening and unity.

Up until my late twenties, taking up space, speaking my mind or just confronting anyone in anyway made my nervous system feel like I was being chased by a sabre-tooth tiger. Forget about owning my sexuality, advocating for myself or expressing my full range of emotions… that wasn't even on the table for me yet.

Like when I decided to go full-time astrologer, entrepreneur, crazy witch-priestess lady and step out of my cosmic closet, I found out some man loosely connected to my inner circle was making jokes at my expense behind my back and literally asked a friend: “who does she think she is?”

And, boy, did it hit a nerve because I had been plagued with the exact thought “why me?” for months on end. “Who am I to do this- to step into this role? To put myself out there? To act like I have anything meaningful to offer?” I had been thinking of what would all of those people say when I made my first Instagram post. Especially as a metaphysical practitioner when I grew up in a church of men that said everything I was currently studying and loving was evil or from the “adversary” (that’s the devil for those of you blessed to not be familiar with the lexicon of Born Again Christians).

But, after an astrological reading and pep talk from a dear friend, I was walking back home down Mulberry Street where I lived at the time and trying to figure out all the reasons I was not ready and a voice came to me clear as day that literally said “why NOT you?” Well, actually, it said: “why NOT you, bitch?”

And, for whatever reason, that was the exact fire I needed. I decided to go for it. That I did not, in fact, need that random man’s approval. And that I would, in fact, become very successful doing this work and also make sure no woman ever let some mid man’s opinion hold her back from living out her cosmic purpose.

That’s because astrologically, THIS is the moment where the Universe is saying- or maybe screaming- that it’s time to wake up the bad bitch in all of us.

As of earlier this year, Saturn and Neptune are both in Aries, which is a wild combination of reality check meets divine vision. Saturn is asking you to take radical responsibility for your life, your choices, your leadership. Neptune is dissolving the illusion of who you had to be to be loved, approved of, or considered “enough.” And if we’re being honest, a lot of that illusion is the good girl identity.

That conditioning says be agreeable, be selfless, be quiet, be pleasing. I really love how Elise Loehnen breaks it down in the book On Our Best Behavior: the “good woman” is often rewarded for her compliance, not her truth. She is valued for how well she performs goodness, not how deeply she lives in integrity. Which means the very traits that get praised are often the ones that keep you disconnected from your power. Well, Neptune is coming to dissolve that shit.

So when Neptune starts disintegrating and Saturn starts demanding, that identity begins to crack. You might feel disoriented. You might feel like the rules you’ve lived by no longer make sense. That’s not you losing yourself. That’s you meeting yourself.

And then, to add to it this April, the Sun, Mars, and Mercury all also move through Aries turning the volume all the way up to an eleven. The Sun is illuminating where you are ready to be seen beyond the performance. Mars is fueling you with the courage to act instead of appease. Mercury is pushing you to say the thing you were taught to swallow.

This is initiation energy on every level. This is the kind of fire that changes your life if you work with it, and keeps you stuck if you don’t.

Aries energy works through you to do bring the system to its knees through fire. Think: passion, sacred rage, joy, movement, boundaries and by being connected to your life force energy.

You are not meant to sit on the sidelines of your own life right now, performing palatability. You are meant to move, speak, choose, and lead, even if ruffles feathers. Even if it disrupts the version of you that used to feel safe. Especially if it does.

Because that version of you was never actually free anyways.

1. Stop over explaining your no.

Say no. Full stop. No paragraph. No apology tour. No softening it to make it easier to digest. Your “no” is a complete sentence. This not only stops you from leaking all your energy and life force but it also rewires your nervous system to understand that you are allowed to take up space without justification… and that your truth is more important than someone else’s comfort.

2. Let someone be uncomfortable with you.

This is a BIG one. Ooooh I can feel my empaths squirming in discomfort already! Say the honest thing in a conversation. Disagree respectfully but clearly. Wear the risqué outfit. Post the bold opinion. Raise your damn price. Let someone misunderstand you and do not rush to fix it. You are practicing the muscle of being seen and knowing who tf you are without shrinking.

3. Initiate something before you feel ready.

Hey, babe, if you wait to feel perfectly poised and planned before living your dream life… you’re going to sleep through your actual life.

So, please, if you’re reading this:
- Apply for the thing.
- Pitch the idea.
- Launch the offer.
- Start the conversation.

TODAY. Before you have time to overthink it. It’s okay if you get rejected- in fact, I want you to CHASE rejection. I want you to throw every thought of “wait will they think” and every mind message from your Inner Critic and your inner Good Girl in the “Fuck It Bucket” and just go. for. it.

Aries energy is not about perfect timing, it is about courageous timing.
You build confidence by moving and DOING the damn thing… not by waiting.

Because, the truth is, you do not become powerful by overthinking.

This is why satirists matter.

What Druski has been doing by mocking figures like Erika Kirk and the theatrics of authority is not just entertainment.

It’s exposure.

Satire collapses illusion faster than argument.

Because once something is exaggerated just enough, once it’s mirrored back with a wink, you start to see it clearly:

the performance
the script
the absurdity

And suddenly, what once felt intimidating starts to look… unserious.

That’s the point. It also begins to shift the culture as public opinion goes from putting these people on a pedestal or fearing them to seeing them for what they actually are: unserious grifters and losers.

In the 2024 elections, Democrats struggled with their narrative: are the Republicans deeply dangerous or just uncool weirdos? Turns out they are both- but, truly, the latter is more harmful because it doesn’t command respect or fear.

That’s why I love leaning into this tomfoolery.

Strategic irreverence doesn’t beg for permission.
It doesn’t try to win approval.

It simply shows you the truth sideways until you can’t unsee it.

The Silly Goose Collective Is Already Here

We also saw this energy play out in real time during the Portland “Theatre of the Absurd” protests in 2025.

Not just resistance.
Silly goose resistance.

People showing up in costumes. Dancing. Singing. Being intentionally unserious in the face of something that demanded solemn obedience.

And it worked.

Because when authority expects confrontation and instead gets whimsy, it short circuits.

This is what people misunderstand:

Silliness is not weakness.
It is not disengagement.

It is a refusal to be psychologically captured.

A refusal to let your nervous system be dictated by intimidation.

What If Anarchy Isn’t Chaos?

We’ve been sold a very specific story:

Anarchy equals destruction.
Order equals safety.
Obedience equals good.

But what if anarchy is actually:

• creation without domination

• connection without control

• coordination without coercion?

Not burn it all down energy for chaos’ sake.
More like: we don’t need to be ruled to relate to each other.

It’s kids organizing a game without a referee.
It’s communities feeding each other without permission.
It’s people choosing alignment over authority.

And yes, it’s going to be uncomfy. We have to do our part in our internal decolonizing work to dismantle the parts of our personal human nature- both societal and innate- that is tied to our current societal norms

And for a lot of us self-identified “good girls” and rule followers, it’s going to look like practicing being ungovernable and not trying to uphold a moral code in an immoral system. Sometimes it looks like:

• jaywalking

• ignoring arbitrary rules

• not complying in advance

Small acts. Big rewiring.

Because every time you choose conscious noncompliance, your nervous system learns:

“I am not here to be managed.”

Uranus in Gemini: The Trickster Era Has Entered the Chat

On July 7, 2025, Uranus in Gemini began its long, electric rewrite of reality. As I was saying, I have been feeling for the past few months how important this strategic irreverence is going to be at a macro and micro level.

It dipped back into Taurus for a moment, then fully commits from April 25, 2026 through 2033.

This is not just innovation.

This is a rebrand of rebellion itself.

I have never liked him but watching him for the past few days gaslight us into saying “we didn’t start this war” or talk about military action with glee has made me sick to my stomach. He is treating the taking of innocent lives and sending our military into grave danger like he is performing a puffed-up chest living, breathing Team America sketch. He just told us he thinks rules of engagement are “stupid” and treats destruction of human lives, infrastructure and the earth like it’s Call of Duty.

I also grew up in evangelicalism so I see the writing on the wall when I see someone who thinks they answer to God or a pastor over the constitution and the people.

Well, the TLDR is that the astrology does not bode well for him.

Looking at the astrology surrounding Pete Hegseth right now, two things immediately jumped out.

And they are not subtle.

The first is the recent lunar eclipse landing directly on his Mars.

The second is Saturn slowly approaching his IC, the deepest root of the chart, the place that rules foundations, home base, and the hidden architecture of one’s life.

Put those together and you begin to see a storyline forming.

Mars is the planet of conflict, aggression, action, and war. When eclipses hit Mars, they often correspond with moments when someone’s actions suddenly come under scrutiny or escalate into larger consequences. Eclipses accelerate timelines. They speed things up. Historically they have been associated with events affecting rulers, military leaders, and people whose decisions carry collective consequences.

This eclipse did not just touch his Mars.
It activated a much larger configuration.

That’s because his Mars squares his Sun, which means that when Mars is triggered the pressure reverberates through his core identity and public role. A lunar eclipse on Mars can feel like the moment when something that was operating behind the scenes suddenly bursts into visibility.

And the sky is not done with him yet.

The next New Moon lands directly on his Moon, while squaring his Venus, which rules both his 6th house and 10th house. Those houses govern daily work, service, and public reputation. When lunar cycles activate those rulers, the themes of employment, public visibility, and responsibility often become part of the unfolding narrative.

Saturn in Aries: The God of War, Karma and Foundations Cracking

Saturn approaching the IC deepens the story.

When Saturn moves across the IC, it often signals a period where foundations are tested. Structures that have been built in private begin to show their cracks. Sometimes it is simply the weight of responsibility catching up. Sometimes it is the surfacing of things that were buried.

Saturn has a reputation for being harsh, but that reputation is a bit misleading. Saturn does not punish randomly. Saturn reveals what has been structurally sound and what has not. Saturn is also a karma catch up activator- in my opinion. Not really a technical term but I’ve studied enough charts over the past decade to see that Saturn delivers you back the karma you have been laying down.

Or for “Christians” like Pete let me translate in some Galations 6:7- a man reaps what he sows.

If something was built on shaky ground, Saturn tends to expose it.

Which brings us to the transit that stands out most dramatically in the longer timeline.

Transit Saturn will eventually oppose his Pluto at around 19–20 degrees.

That is not a gentle transit.

Saturn opposing Pluto is one of the classic signatures of power struggles, institutional pressure, and moments when control structures crack. Pluto represents deep power, buried material, and sometimes the darker psychological currents that operate beneath the surface. When Saturn confronts Pluto, the system demands accountability.

Sometimes it looks like confrontation with authority.
Sometimes it looks like the exposure of something that was hidden.

Either way, it rarely passes quietly.

So the question becomes less about if something significant emerges and more about what.

Because the rest of the sky keeps adding fuel.

Uranus Squaring His Lunar Nodes

Node activations are karmic crossroads. They tend to correspond with moments when the path forward changes direction quickly and sometimes unpredictably. Uranus, the planet of shocks, disruptions, and sudden revelations, squaring the nodes (which is happening now) often correlates with events that pull someone off the trajectory they expected.

Summer of…. well, not, Love

By the end of August, an eclipse will activate his chart ruler Jupiter across the 3rd and 9th house axis. That axis governs information, media, messaging, ideology, and the narratives that shape public perception.

When eclipses land there, truths often surface.

Sometimes it is the revelation of new information.
Sometimes it is the unraveling of a narrative that was previously accepted.

Either way, it tends to shed light.

And that light may not be comfortable.

Early July brings another particularly volatile configuration: on July 4 (you can’t make this up) there is a Mars–Uranus conjunction in Gemini squaring his Jupiter, which itself is tied to the South Node. Mars and Uranus together create explosive energy. They correlate with sudden events, accidents, conflicts, technological disruptions, or dramatic escalations that unfold quickly and publicly.

This is also a very volatile conjunction for the chart of the USA as this is our natal Uranus placement and we have never not been at war when it’s activated.

Placed in Gemini, the sign of media, communication, and information networks, the symbolism points toward something happening in full view of the world.

Neptune in Aries and the Holy War fought by the Unholiest of People

At the same time, Neptune will be crossing his fourth house cusp, dissolving the boundaries around his private foundations and emotional base.

Neptune tends to blur, expose, and dissolve illusions. When it touches the IC or fourth house area, the boundary between public narrative and private reality can become very thin.

Neptune in Aries is also traditionally associated with holy wars and fighting over religious ideology. I have not read his book but from the recaps I could stomach it sounds like this was part of Mr. Hegseth’s mission so we will see how Saturn catches with that.

It is no secret that Pete Hegseth has close ties to Douglas Wilson, a controversial Idaho-based pastor and self-described Christian nationalist whose teachings have gained influence within the upper levels of the Trump administration. For the record, Douglas Wilson has some pretty fucked up views when it comes to same-sex marriage, abortion, slavery and a dream of an “all-white America” that has drawn some concern in the military and even in religious circles.

Hegseth is a member of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC), a conservative denomination co-founded by Wilson. Which is why these tattoos have been sending off alarm bells since day one.

Not only does this “church” that is more often referred to as a cult forbids women from gathering for their own bible studies (fun!) they also believe that they are “speeding up” the second coming of Jesus Christ by starting wars. To that I do agree we need some strong male leadership and I say: you first, Petey. Jump on those frontlines, brother.

Reversed Nodal Return and the People vs the King

On January 9, Mars stations retrograde in Virgo. That retrograde squares his Ascendant while moving across the same part of the sky connected to his Mars and heading back toward his Jupiter.

Mars retrogrades often correlate with the resurfacing of unfinished conflicts or unresolved actions. Things that were initiated earlier return for a second pass.

And this happens just after his nodal reversal return, a major karmic checkpoint that occurs roughly every 18.6 years.

A nodal reversal is often when someone confronts the consequences of previous choices and the direction of their life path is recalibrated.

Add one more layer.

His progressed Sun has just entered 0 degrees of Leo, a powerful threshold. Progressed Sun shifts often coincide with major new chapters in a person’s identity and life trajectory. Leo is about visibility, leadership, ego, and being seen.

Sometimes that visibility is celebratory.

Sometimes it is exposing.

Mars in Pisces carries its own symbolism. Pisces is associated with oceans, sacrifice, and the collective emotional field. In mundane astrology, Mars in Pisces has historically correlated with themes related to naval warfare, confusion around military strategy, and situations where the cost of conflict becomes painfully visible.

Pisces is also the sign of sacrifice.

And sacrifice in war rarely belongs to the people making the decisions.

It belongs to the soldiers.

Women are carrying a volcanic amount of rage and do not know where to put it.
And a lot of men think we are overreacting.

From the comment section to the DMs, there was this tone of: why are you so mad? It was just a joke. It was just laughter in a room.

But here is what I need you to understand.

It was never just about laughing in a room.

It was the match striking a powder keg that has been laid for generations. It was the echo of every time we were told to calm down, smile more, don’t be dramatic, don’t be hysterical, don’t make a scene. Be more of this, be less of this. It was every story that has come out in the last decade. It was what is still coming out. It was the way power protects itself.

Look at the past month alone. Look at what continues to surface in public scandals and abuse revelations. Look at how often harm is minimized, reframed, spun. You think we are reacting to one moment. We are reacting to centuries.

And here is what I learned.

Fire is important.

Feminine rage is so powerful they had to give it its own label. “Hysteria.” “Crazy.” “Unhinged.” When men rage, it is leadership. When women rage, it is pathology.

Research backs this up. Studies on emotion perception show that women expressing anger are more likely to be viewed as irrational or incompetent, while men expressing anger are often seen as competent and authoritative. Anger increases perceived status in men and decreases it in women, according to this study. That is not random. That is conditioning.

No wonder so many of us buried it.

So many of us were taught that accessing our rage was unsafe. Too much. Dangerous. We were the good girls. The mediators. The composters of everyone else’s anger. We took on the rage of fathers, brothers, bosses, partners. We turned it into sweetness. Into placid, palatable, people pleasing “I can fix you” energy.

But that rage did not disappear.

It settled.

In our bones.
In our jaws.
In our pelvic floors.
In autoimmune flares and migraines and quiet resentment that leads to dis-ease. (Yes this is also backed by science.)

Emotion means energy in motion. When it does not move, it stagnates so what do you think happens when we are stifling a volcano inside our bellies?

I was taught to be scared and ashamed of my anger. And, now as someone who operates in the spiritual space where it is said to be “low-vibrational” to be in anger or that you are “feeding the negative energy” I sometimes can find that narrative being perpetuated.

But rage is healthy. Rage is necessary.

Rage is not the opposite of love. It is often proof of it.

We rage because something sacred is being violated.

Abuse.
Sexual violence.
Beauty standards that shrink us.
The unpaid labor.
The wage gap.
The gaslighting.
The systems that protect predators.
The way motherhood is romanticized and unsupported.
The way girls are sexualized and then blamed.
The way boys are taught to suppress tenderness and then weaponize dominance.
The way power concentrates and calls itself merit.

The way Mama Earth is abused and defiled by these motherf*ckers.

I love men. Let me say that clearly. I am married to a fantastic one. I am raising two sons. I was raised by a wonderful man and am surrounded by many. I see their tenderness and their trauma and the ways they too were shaped by systems that told them rage was their only acceptable emotion.

We are not mad at you as a person.

We are mad at misogyny. At patriarchy. At the manosphere narratives that flatten women into objects and flatten men into caricatures of dominance. We are mad at the systems some of you benefit from and sometimes unconsciously uphold.

And here is the deeper question.

Can we create a rage that destroys what needs to go and creates something new for those who need to be protected?

Because want to know something kind of cool? Fire is the only element that does both. Mama Earth and nature can teach us so much about how to work with our anger, instead of getting worked over by it.

Fire destroys.
Fire clears.
Fire also warms.
Fire forges steel.
Fire cooks food.
Fire gathers people around a hearth.

The problem is not rage. The problem is uncontained rage.

Leadership requires fire. Aries energy. Initiation. The willingness to say this is not acceptable. The courage to disrupt. Every revolution that protected human dignity had heat behind it.

But if we live inside the blaze, we burn ourselves down. Or, more likely, we burn ourselves out.

Which I fear is exactly what the Epstein class and the like are banking on.

But what if we treated rage not as a wildfire but an arrow?

This hearth is part of how I see matriarchal consciousness but we need some fire to get there. As women we naturally have a pretty good grasp on the other 3 elements: the earth (grounding), water (emotions) and air (ideas) that are needed to understand and build the matriarchy. But I find a lot of women are missing a connection to their inner fire.

Yes, I am serious.

Try forceful exhale breathing. Inhale through the nose for four. Sharp exhale through the mouth like you are fogging a mirror. Do it ten times. Feel the heat rise and leave.

3. Smash Something Safe.
Cardboard boxes. Old plates in a controlled environment. Ice cubes in the sink. Let your body experience impact without harm.

4. Scream.
In your car. Into a pillow. In the ocean. Sound completes stress cycles. Your body needs to know it can express and survive.

5. Lift Heavy.
Strength training is holy work for anger. It gives the fire a direction. It teaches your nervous system that power is not danger.

Then, when the wave passes, ask:

Where is this arrow meant to land?

Is it a boundary?
A conversation?
A piece of art?
A business?
A policy you want to fight for?
A story you refuse to stay silent about?

This is not about left or right politics. This is about refusing to be satisfied with a world that does not reflect the inherent worth of every human.

Your rage is not an embarrassment. It is information.

But we cannot live there. We cannot let it consume us into dissociation, overwhelm, or constant cortisol spikes. We need the fire of rage and the fire of whimsy.

Yes, whimsy.

Joy is rebellion. Play is nervous system repair. Dancing while dismantling broken systems is not unserious. It is sustainable.

This particular eclipse season is already charged with themes of purification, revelation, and systems being pushed to their breaking point.

So when geopolitical shocks occur during an eclipse window, astrologers don’t see coincidence: we see pressure valves releasing.

Mars Square Uranus: The Signature of Sudden Conflict

Then there is Mars square Uranus.

If there is one planetary combination that astrologers consistently associate with sudden explosions, military shocks, technological warfare, and volatile acts of aggression, it is this one.

Confession time…

My freshman year of college, I was a pick-me girl.

I played fantasy football. I memorized stats. I drank beer and watched stupid stand up comedians that weren’t funny. I made sure I wasn’t “like other girls” or made sure the guys knew I was in on their jokes. I separated myself in small, subtle ways so I would be safe. So maybe, just maybe, I wouldn’t be the girl they talked about when I wasn’t there.

It wasn’t that I didn’t like being a girl’s girl. It was that I had heard how men talked about women when they thought no women were around so I wore this “pick-me” energy as a type of false armor.

Until the day I heard them talking about a woman I knew well and liked a lot. They were running the whole gamut from making fun of her looks to her sex life. It wasn’t even a choice- more of a primal response but I lashed out at them and when I stood up for her and they accused me of “not being able to take a joke” and dismissed me. And that’s when I knew I wanted no part of being a pick-me and instead said my first “f*ck you” to the boys club.

There is no faster sinking feeling in the world than hearing boys you call friends talk about women like they are disposable, interchangeable, punchlines. I can still feel that drop in my stomach. That hot, embarrassed nausea. The quiet realization that you are not inside the circle. You will always be the subject of it.

I hadn’t felt that exact feeling in years.

Until the locker room call.

I was watching the men’s Olympic hockey team celebrate. It had been one of those rare, good moments. The kind where you feel proud. Unified. Hopeful in a way that feels almost naive but you let yourself have it anyway. Watching Jack Hughes score that golden goal in overtime. Watching them bring Johnny Gaudreau’s children onto the ice to honor their father. I cried. It felt human. It felt like what sports are supposed to be.

I always sort of forget that I love the Olympics. I love the stories. I love watching people who trained their entire lives for a dream stand in it for a second. I love the human spirit and what it is capable of accomplishing.

And I wasn’t looking to be outraged. I wasn’t hunting for something to be mad about. My husband was next to me. I just overheard the clip in passing.

And then I heard Trump say, in that tone, “We’re going to have to invite the women too so I don’t get impeached.”

It was obnoxious, yes. But honestly, that part didn’t shock me. He says ridiculous things constantly. The bar for him is subterranean. His name is mentioned in the Epstein Files tens of thousands of times. I do not expect him to ever do anything with a modicum of respect, integrity or leadership.

What really hit me was the laughter.

The way the men joined in.

The way it was easy.

And I literally felt the joy leave my body.

It was instant. That same old college feeling. Oh. This is what you really think of women.

And before anyone tells me I was looking to be offended, I wasn’t. I was watching a hockey celebration. Admittedly, what I know about hockey is mostly from The Mighty Ducks and Heated Rivalry. So, yeah, I am not a hockey analyst. But I am a fan of hope and hype. And I was thisclose to cranking some Free Bird, throwing on some American Flag cutoffs and reveling in the win ‘Merican style.

But then that laughter told me something.

It told me there is still no line.

It drained me and then it enraged me.

And I had to ask myself why? There is sooo much to be angry about in the world right now but I still realize I am not nearly angry enough.

We, as women, are tired. It has been almost ten years since “grab them by the pussy.” Ten years since men around us had a chance to say, what the actual f*ck that’s not okay. Ten years since Me Too cracked the surface and we all thought, maybe this time something changes but instead it became a punchline or an annoyance that now men ca’t compliment women on their blouses at work anymore (real story, btw).

And here we are.

Watching men laugh in a locker room about inviting the women so they don’t get in trouble. As if women being included is a legal liability. As if the women’s team isn’t the more historically dominant program. As if the women who built the sport are a punchline.

And standing in that room is Kash Patel. Jumping around like some kind of cringe-y kid who finally got invited to the frat party acting like he was somehow a part of their victory. A man who has known about horrific acts done to women and children for months. Who has helped cover up and lie about some of the darkest stories imaginable.

Images that have made others throw up and myself lose sleep for days. There is blood in those files. There are babies in those files. And he gets to celebrate (on what I am guessing is the taxpayer’s dime) in a locker room with young men who are role models to millions. That in of itself doesn’t sit right for a lot of reasons but then the laughter sent me over the edge.

Because there is no line.

That’s what made me angry.

Not fragile. Not hysterical. Angry. Seething.

Because I wanted to cheer for them. I really did. I wanted to say go USA and mean it with my whole chest. I wanted to celebrate the hours of training, the family sacrifices, the communities that raised these boys into men who could stand on that ice and represent something bigger than themselves.

Athletes at the Olympics are supposed to be a reflection of what America could be. People who followed a dream. Who worked. Who endured. Who showed up.

And in one lazy joke, they shrank themselves.

Put simply, the comment was sexist—it framed the invitation for the women’s team as a joke, a burden that had to be reluctantly borne, even though the women had also just won Olympic gold. This suggests that there’s a hierarchy to the teams’ achievements, and that the men’s win matters more.

Two of you tried to speak up. I heard that. I respect that. There was a voice near the camera that replied, "Absolutely," while another says, "Two for two," highlighting that both teams had won gold. Leadership flickered for a second.

But to the rest of you, it is not too late to say you got caught up in the moment. It is not too late to say that wasn’t it. It is not too late to draw a line.

I just found out Jack and Quinn’s mother is a silver medalist. A former U.S. women’s national team player. A woman who fought for equality in this very sport. She coached the women’s program they laughed at. The team brought Johnny’s little girl, Noa, onto the ice. These young men have girls and women who wear their jerseys and cheer their names. Jack did shout out Megan Keller after his golden goal. And yet they laughed in all of their faces in that meant-to-be private moment.

Because what made it sting for the most is that this is what the boys’ club always does. It closes ranks. It laughs. It protects itself. Even when the joke is tired. Even when the joke is about women who had to fight to even be in the room.

And when people online say “let it go,” or “it was just locker room humor,” I want to ask: why is sexism funny? Why is it always the women who are told to relax? Why are we furious about men in women’s sports but silent when men demean women athletes in their own locker room?

It pulled up something old. Something I thought I’d left behind. That relentless feeling of trying so hard to be liked by men who didn’t actually respect women.

It wasn’t just the sexism of the comment. It was the way the men responded to it. The way they didn’t skip a beat. The way they looked at one another for cues on how to react.

There’s actual research that explains this dynamic. In Burrell (2023), a series of focus groups with male student athletes revealed something deeply concerning. The study found that young men often struggle to understand the role they can play in tackling sexism, misogyny, and violence against women. Instead of taking ownership, they look to other men to figure out how they should respond.

Their understanding of masculine norms becomes the filter through which they judge how to behave. In the study’s words, they “use their understanding of masculine norms to mediate their response to prevention campaigns,” looking to peers as the benchmark for what’s acceptable or not. In other words, they don’t decide for themselves; they gauge male reaction first, then follow the crowd.

That’s exactly what I saw in that locker room.

They weren’t awkward. They weren’t confused. They laughed because that is what the group taught them was the right response. Because they look to each other to define what a “man” should do, instead of asking themselves: what is the right thing to do?

You don’t get to care about fairness in women’s sports and then laugh when women are the punchline.

You don’t get to chant USA and then dismiss half of it.

You don’t get to say they were caught up in the moment because moments like this define real men. Or taking a moment to reflect and issue an acknowledgment after, at the very least.

What surprised me most was the depth of my reaction. The way it hit something old. The pick-me girl who tried so hard to be safe inside male approval. The girl who laughed along so she wouldn’t be the joke. The girl who thought if she proved she wasn’t like other women, maybe she wouldn’t be treated like one.

I am not that girl anymore.

And maybe that’s why this felt different.

I’m tired. We’re tired. Of waiting for the men around us to show leadership. To draw a line. To say enough. To refuse to laugh.

Integrity is not loud. It’s not performative. It’s just the decision not to join in.

This moment lacked integrity. It lacked leadership. It took a rare, beautiful, unifying moment and made it small.

And I am done shrinking myself to make men comfortable.

If you are a man reading this, draw the line. In the locker room. In the group chat. In the joke that feels off but everyone laughs anyway. That is where culture is built. Not in speeches. In those seconds.

Because women had to fight to even be here.

And we are not leaving the room.

It’s a Leadership Initiation.

NEPTUNE IN ARIES: THE SPIRIT OF THE WARRIOR AWAKENS

If Pluto in Aquarius dismantles external systems, Neptune in Aries ignites the internal fire required to build something new.

Neptune governs spirituality, dreams, imagination, and collective consciousness. Aries governs identity, action, courage, and initiation.

Neptune entered Aries in 2026, beginning a cycle that will continue through 2039.

The last time Neptune was in Aries was 1861–1875.

This period coincided with:

• The American Civil War

• The abolition of slavery

• Massive ideological and spiritual awakening

• Individuals being forced to choose who they were and what they stood for

Neptune dissolves illusions. Aries demands action.

Together, they create the spiritual warrior.

This transit asks you to stop outsourcing your authority. To stop waiting for someone else to save you. To stop diluting your truth to make others comfortable.

The last Neptune in Aries cycle (1861–1875) coincided almost exactly with the Civil War, abolition, and one of the most radical spiritual awakenings in modern history. And one of the clearest patterns from that era is this:

spiritual conviction became the moral engine behind social revolution.

Here are several deeper takeaways from that period, especially through the alliance between abolitionists and Spiritualists, and what it reveals about Neptune in Aries now.

1. Spiritual Belief Became a Justification for Radical Moral Action

Translation: people stopped using spirituality to tolerate injustice and started using it to end it

Before this period, religion was often used to maintain social order and justify existing hierarchies. But Neptune in Aries flipped that script.

Spiritualists and abolitionists believed slavery was not just politically wrong, but spiritually intolerable.

They argued that the soul itself recognized no racial hierarchy. Through séances and spirit communications, mediums claimed to receive messages affirming the equality of all human beings and the moral necessity of abolition.

Prominent abolitionists like Achsa Sprague described being spiritually directed toward their activism. Frederick Douglass even published accounts of spirit communications in The North Star to reinforce abolitionist arguments.

Spirituality became evidence for justice, not obedience.

This is a hallmark of Neptune in Aries: it activates spiritual courage. It dissolves the illusion that neutrality is morally acceptable and replaces it with a sense of personal responsibility.

People do not just believe differently. They act differently because of what they believe.

2. Mystics, Intuitives, and Channelers Became Influential Cultural Voices

Translation: intuitive people stopped being marginalized and started shaping history

Spiritualism was the first widespread religious movement in America that allowed women to serve as public spiritual leaders.

Most mediums were women.

At a time when women were barred from political office, barred from voting, and largely excluded from public leadership, Spiritualism gave them a voice and an audience.

They held public lectures. They influenced political thought. They helped shape public opinion.

Nettie Colburn, a Spiritualist medium, is believed to have provided channeled guidance that influenced Abraham Lincoln’s decision to issue the Emancipation Proclamation.

Sojourner Truth integrated her spiritual experiences into her abolitionist advocacy, reinforcing her belief that her work was divinely guided.

Neptune governs intuition, psychic sensitivity, and connection to unseen realms. Aries governs leadership and action.

When Neptune moves through Aries, intuitive individuals often become initiators, not observers.

Their sensitivity becomes a source of authority rather than something to hide.

3. Spiritual Awakening and Social Upheaval Happened Simultaneously

Translation: collective trauma opened people to spiritual realities they previously dismissed

The Civil War produced unprecedented death and loss. An estimated 750,000 people died.

This mass grief destabilized the collective psyche.

Spiritualism surged in popularity during and after the war because people wanted reassurance that death was not the end. They sought connection, meaning, and continuity.

But Neptune in Aries does not just produce passive spiritual seeking. It produces spiritual mobilization.

People did not simply find comfort in spiritual belief. They found direction.

Spiritual frameworks helped them process trauma and fueled their commitment to building a more just society.

Periods of collective destabilization often weaken attachment to existing material structures and open individuals to new spiritual and philosophical paradigms.

This is part of how Neptune dissolves old realities so new ones can emerge.

4. Spiritual Authority Became Individualized and Decentralized

Translation: people stopped relying solely on institutions to define truth

The Spiritualist movement had no central hierarchy, no official doctrine, and no singular authority.

Truth was accessed individually. Direct. Revelation.

This decentralized spiritual structure mirrors the core archetype of Neptune in Aries: personal spiritual sovereignty.

Individuals trusted their direct experiences, intuition, and inner guidance rather than relying exclusively on institutional interpretation.

This often coincided with questioning other forms of institutional authority, including political and social hierarchies.

Spiritual independence and social independence evolved together.

5. Moral Imagination Expanded Beyond Existing Social Reality

Translation: people began believing a completely different world was possible

Before abolition, slavery had existed for centuries. It was deeply embedded in the economic and social fabric of society.

For many people, its permanence seemed inevitable.

Neptune governs imagination. Aries governs initiation.

Together, they allow individuals to envision realities that do not yet exist and begin building them anyway.

Abolitionists were often dismissed as unrealistic, radical, or dangerous. Yet within one Neptune in Aries cycle, a system that had existed for generations collapsed.

This transit correlates with periods when what once seemed impossible becomes inevitable.

What Neptune in Aries Awakens Now

If Pluto in Aquarius is redistributing power structurally, Neptune in Aries is redistributing power spiritually.

It is activating individuals who feel called to:

• Lead with intuition rather than external validation

• Align their actions with their deepest moral and spiritual convictions

• Challenge systems that contradict their sense of truth

• Integrate spirituality with tangible, real world leadership

Neptune in Aries does not create passive believers.

It creates embodied ones.

People whose spirituality is not separate from their life, but expressed through their choices, their voice, their leadership, and their willingness to participate in shaping the future.

Historically, this transit has coincided with the emergence of individuals who trust their inner knowing enough to act on it.

This is systemic, cellular, civilizational change.

PLUTO IN AQUARIUS: THE DEATH OF OLD POWER

Pluto is the planet of death and rebirth. It governs power, control, shadow, and transformation. Wherever Pluto moves, it dismantles what is false and reveals what is true.

Pluto entered Aquarius in 2023 and will remain there until 2044.

Aquarius governs the collective. The people. Technology. Revolution. Liberation. The future. And, yes, aliens (more on that in a separate Substack, perhaps).

The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was 1777–1798.

During that period, we saw:

• The American Revolution

• The French Revolution

• The Haitian Revolution

• The overthrow of monarchies

• The birth of modern democracy

• Radical new ideas about freedom and human rights

The core theme was simple: power moved from the few to the many.

We are now living through the modern version of that same transfer.

This transit exposes corrupt systems, destabilizes illegitimate authority, and empowers individuals to reclaim their sovereignty. It dismantles hierarchies built on illusion and replaces them with networks built on authenticity.

And, in case you needed more receipts:

The time before that when Pluto transited through Aquarius was approximately 1532 to 1553 and coincided with the height of the Protestant Reformation

This was a period that fundamentally dismantled the established authority of the Catholic Church. This era witnessed the rise of new, decentralized ideologies (Calvinism, Anglicanism) and allowed individual access to scripture, reflecting Aquarius’s focus on revolution, group ideology, and breaking existing power structures.

Themes we see from both of these times:

1. The Collapse of “Divine Right” Authority

Translation: people stop believing power is inherently legitimate just because it says it is

One of the most profound shifts during both periods was not just political but psychological. The spell of inevitability broke.

During the French Revolution, monarchies had ruled for centuries under the doctrine of divine right. Kings were believed to be chosen by God. Their authority was not supposed to be questioned.

But Pluto in Aquarius exposes the shadow behind authority. It reveals when power is sustained by illusion, fear, or inherited legitimacy rather than earned trust.

Suddenly, ordinary people began asking dangerous questions:

• Why should one person have absolute power over millions?

• Who decided this?

• What if we simply stopped agreeing to this system?

Similarly, during the Protestant Reformation, the Catholic Church had held near total spiritual authority over Europe. It controlled access to scripture, forgiveness, and salvation itself. But as reformers translated the Bible into vernacular languages, individuals could access spiritual truth directly without institutional mediation.

The core Aquarian shift was this:

Authority moved from external institutions to internal discernment.

Pluto in Aquarius dismantles the idea that power belongs to those who inherited it and redistributes it to those who embody it.

We are seeing this now in the erosion of institutional trust across media, government, religion, medicine, and education. People no longer assume authority equals truth. They verify it for themselves.

This can be destabilizing, but it is also liberating.

2. Technology as the Catalyst for Awakening and Upheaval

Translation: information becomes the accelerant that makes revolution inevitable

Aquarius governs technology. Pluto intensifies whatever it touches.

During the Protestant Reformation, the printing press was the revolutionary technology of the time. It allowed ideas to spread faster than institutions could contain them. Martin Luther’s 95 Theses did not just challenge the Church. They went viral, by 16th century standards.

The printing press democratized knowledge.

During the French Revolution, pamphlets, newspapers, and mass political writing spread revolutionary ideas rapidly among the public, creating collective awareness and shared outrage.

Technology allowed individuals to realize they were not alone in their dissent.

This is one of Pluto in Aquarius’s most consistent patterns: technology reveals truth faster than power structures can suppress it.

Today, the internet plays the same role. Social media, independent publishing, and decentralized platforms allow individuals to bypass traditional gatekeepers entirely.

Information is no longer controlled by a few centralized voices.

This creates chaos, but also awakening.

It produces a population that is harder to control because it is harder to isolate.

3. The Emergence of the Individual as a Moral Authority

Translation: conscience becomes more important than conformity

Before these periods, survival often depended on obedience. Social cohesion required conformity. Questioning authority could mean exile, imprisonment, or death.

But Pluto in Aquarius births a new kind of human being: the individual who prioritizes truth over belonging.

During the Protestant Reformation, individuals began forming personal relationships with spirituality outside of institutional control. Faith became internal rather than externally dictated.

During the French Revolution, individuals risked everything to align with their values, even when it meant opposing the dominant system.

Aquarius governs individuality, but Pluto transforms individuality into necessity.

It becomes psychologically impossible to live in contradiction with your truth.

This is why Pluto in Aquarius often produces whistleblowers, reformers, artists, and cultural disruptors. People who are willing to sacrifice comfort for coherence.

Not because they want conflict, but because they cannot unknow what they know.

This transit forces alignment between inner truth and outer life.

It also asks something very specific of each of us:

Stop waiting for permission.

TLDR: Pluto in Aquarius marks eras when inherited authority loses its spell, technology accelerates awakening, and individuals reclaim moral sovereignty. During the French Revolution and the Protestant Reformation, people stopped blindly accepting divine right power, gained direct access to information through emerging technologies, and began trusting personal conscience over institutional control. The pattern is clear: power decentralizes, truth spreads faster than it can be contained, and ordinary people become catalytic leaders.

Aquarius reminds us that the future is not created by institutions. It is created by individuals who are brave enough to embody it first.

Pluto in Aquarius does not produce passive observers.

It produces leaders.
