The conversation around the United States of America, the Biden Administration, and the Democratic Party’s support of Israel is pretty damn simple.

WE SHOULD NOT SUPPORT ISRAEL AND WE HAVE BEEN WRONG FOR DOING SO, ESPECIALLY OVER THE LAST TWO AND A HALF YEARS.

I saw a clip of Hillary Clinton the other day. It was the first time I’d heard a prominent face of the Democratic Party try to address the party’s support for Israel by making a distinction between Israel and Netanyahu. My immediate thought was, “Don’t fuck up the midterms with this rhetoric.”.

Fast forward a few days, and I’m hearing a similar language coming from Hunter Biden about the “nuance” and “complexity” around the United States of America sending millions of dollars in weapons to Israel which we know beyond a reasonable doubt are going to be used to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity.

First, the Democratic Party continues to show how out of touch they are with progressives.

Second, 64 days before the midterms is NOT the time to “test” the waters on a new position when it comes to this issue.

Lastly, WE ARE NOT BLIND. WE ARE NOT DUMB. WE HAVE SEEN AND HEARD ENOUGH.

I personally have interviewed physicians who have volunteered in Gaza since October 7, 2023. I listened to Dr. Mimi Sayed talk about 86% of her patients being children and some of them coming in with single gun shot wounds to the head, chest, and groin. I know people living in Gaza today. I video chat with their families living in tents with rodents, sewage in the streets, and bombings happening daily with drones buzzing in the background.

Over the last year, I’ve read the Sykes-Picot Agreement, the Balfour Declaration, the May 4, 1948 draft memorandum outlining how Israel is not interested in peace with Palestinians and are going to ‘round out their state by force’ with the Haganah and Jewish terrorist organizations Irgun and Stern, and much, much more.

Now that I know, I cannot un-know.

I watched Israel keep an American teenager, Mohammed Ibrahim, in their prison for almost 10 months and the United States of America did nothing about it while he was malnourished and mistreated. Fifteen years old.

It’s too late to try to put distance between Netanyahu and the state of Israel. People have watched the genocide in Gaza, the Israeli settler terrorists in the West Bank, and the leadership of Israel take pleasure in, even brag, about what they are doing in Palestine and in Lebanon.

We are demanding change.

And we are going to get it at the ballot box.

If the Democratic Party wants to keep its base and retain its position in the progressive movement, you might want to get on board.

Because it’s happening with or without you.

Now, I’m perfectly aware that I’ve lost a good portion of the people reading already and that’s okay. If the idea of getting past the division and putting in some work to achieve the country we all say we desire and deserve is too much for you, then I probably am as well. insert shrug here

What we are building is something that has immediate impact and long term progress across our communities and our country. If this interests you even a little bit, take 5 minutes to read this.

We focus on 3 things:

1. Winning Elections

2. Creating Connection in our Communities Through Conversations

3. Government Accountability

Winning Elections - I reviewed election data for 12 states that had margins of 10% or less in the 2024 Presidential election. I analyzed every county in those states for the last 5 years worth of federal elections and found the counties that had margins of 10% or less for the majority of those elections. Those became the focus for 2026 and 2028.

Here’s a glimpse of what that looks like in Michigan:

Sixteen of Michigan’s 83 counties made my list: Bay, Benzie, Berrien, Clinton, Eaton, Genesee, Grand Traverse, Isabella, Kent, Leelanau, Macomb, Marquette, Midland, Muskegon, Oakland, and Saginaw. Once these counties were identified, I cross-referenced what House seats they shared, the number of votes for third parties, and how many registered voters in those counties didn’t vote. Now, we know where the lowest hanging fruit is and where to put our energy. (That doesn’t mean neglect everywhere else.)

Creating Connection through Conversations - It’s difficult to stay accurately informed in today’s world. The amount of misinformation and disinformation out there is difficult to navigate. To help, I create a variety of graphics with the sources listed in a Google Drive for people to share across their socials and within their circles of influence. The graphics focus on things like Medicaid and SNAP cuts, Data Centers, Poverty Rates, and things we can get done with a progressive majority in Congress. (I believe building from hope is more powerful than from fear.)

Here are a few of the graphics for reference:

People are printing them out, sharing them at festivals, events, and even knocking doors in their communities and starting conversations with their neighbors. This is how we build long term connection and understanding on the issues that matter. We meet every other week and role play how to have these conversations and go over the data.

The key is getting an understanding of each other. We are less likely to hurt each other or support policies that do harm when we understand our neighbors, even if we disagree with them.

Government Accountability - This is the last part of our focus because we only get here if we do the first two steps effectively. Government accountability includes holding members of Congress and this Administration responsible for their actions (or lack thereof) in their capacity as elected or appointed officials.

I’ve outlined a multi-faceted 2 1/2 year timeline for doing just this while also putting forth policy that helps working class people. Some of it is in the graphics above, like getting the Equal Rights Amendment added to the Constitution. Other parts include impeaching members of the cabinet as well as judges. Yes, it includes expanding the court and term limits for the judiciary.

The details of this portion is outlined in the playbook which becomes available in September 2026.

In just 5 months, we have almost 1500 people who have joined this movement. They represent all 50 states and approximately 550 counties. We am to double that number by the end of the year and hope that you will join us.

For those of you who saw the word “progressive” and your eyes glazed over, let me provide some clarity.

Progressive in this community means wanting policy and legislation that works for all people.

We desire to have leaders and legislation that…

1. Protects and Empowers People

2. Provides Equitable Access to Opportunity

3. Puts Government to Work for Working Class People

That’s it. Nothing Scary… (unless you’re a corrupt corporation or billionaire lol).

And before you clutch your pearls and jump to a predictable state of defensive victimhood, let me share that I used to be you. It might be hard for some to image but I was 100% a die hard conservative Christian.

My kids missed the entire Pokeman and Rugrats phenomenons because secular music and those types of shows didn’t get airspace in my home for a very long time. James Dobson, Family Research Council, and the Veggietales were staples on our shelves back then.

Today, I’m a sage-burning, crystal collecting, card reading, spiritually-connected woman with a Bible on the shelf for reference when needed. You might even call me a little “witchy”. lol (If you knew how long it took me to be able to say that without imagining burning in the pits of hell for eternity, you’d chuckle too.)

It has taken years of intentional work to become who I am today and I am grateful for it all. Without the “church hurt”, the patriarchal manipulation, and the racial discrimination, my journey, and thus the place I have currently arrived, would be much different. So first, let me be clear - I am grateful for the lessons that have come from my experience of Christianity. I am most grateful though, for the internal wisdom - that knowing we all have inside - that brought me through the religion of Christianity to something much greater.

It’s a place that observes and respects the beliefs, lives, and rights of all other people without judgment or condemnation.

It’s also a place that doesn’t need definitions or labels to identify who I am or what I believe.

At its most basic level, my faith is Love. Not the Christian love (that most often shows up in judgment and hate) that I was neck deep in for much of my life… and not the agape love preachers shouted about from the pulpit but rarely seemed to practice in public… no, the Love I’m talking about is different.

It’s a balance between honoring myself and being of service to others. Like many of you, I struggle with the balance because I live in a world and practiced a faith that drilled into me that I’m a “sinner” and “retch” that only has value if I believe in a particular Jesus as written about and expressed by a particular religion. So yeah, the “honoring myself part” can still be a challenge, but this post isn’t about that.

It’s about where we are today as a society and, in the United States of America, where we will be if we continue to let extremist Christians take over our government.

Yes, I said extremists.

Many of the people today are using extremist, even terroristic, language when describing the kind of country they desire to create and the lengths in which they are willing to go to achieve it. You just don’t recognize them as the radical religious zealots they are because it’s draped in rhetoric about God and "Christian values”... and white.

The truth is that “Christian values” are rooted in patriarchy, racism, ablism, and homophobia. And an even more uncomfortable truth is that these “values” have been used to commit some of the greatest atrocities this country and the world has ever seen. From chattel slavery to spousal rape, Christianity has been used to do more than spread the gospel and a lot of it is horrific.

Now, to be clear, I’m not saying not to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. That guy was pretty on point in the things he said and did. I mean, if people simply followed his lead, we’d be in a much better place and I wouldn’t be writing this article.

What I am saying is that if you cannot question the religion in which you practice, you might be doing the whole faith thing wrong. I mean, even the Bible says to study to show thyself approved. (2 Tim. 2:15) And it doesn’t say to only study the Bible or the things that confirm and reinforce what your preacher says or what you already believe.

Jesus was a brown-skinned Palestinian Jew.

If that line was triggering for you, great. That’s your signal to dig in and discover more about the religion you practice.

Conservative Christianity and its evolution into the moral majority behind the Republican party weren’t in response to Roe v. Wade. It was because Jerry Falwell, Bob Jones University and other white Christian schools didn’t want to integrate. After all, the Bible supports segregation (and slavery), right?

Triggered again? Slightly bothered?

Awesome!

Lean in and start to dig. The best thing you can do in this life is to challenge what you believe and why you believe it. When you come out on the other side, you’ll have a solid foundation that is unshakeable, even in breaking environments. If not, you’re like James 1:8 - a double-minded man who is unstable in all his ways.

I know it’s scary.

I mean, even if the fiery pits of hell stuff turn out to not be true, unpacking who you are without all the things you’ve been taught to believe is frightening AF. And that’s before you get around to asking who you are without those things or what it says about you that you subscribed to a faith that has and continues to do tremendous harm to a large number of people in the name of God.

I get it.

Do it anyway. Do it scared. Just do it.

The “bros” are working out and taking plunge baths in their blue jeans, inviting their “rocker” friends to speak at the Pentagon before taking them for a spin a military helicopter, and chugging beers after their team wins hockey games.

And far too many folks are acting as if it’s business as usual.

While you know that I am a progressive and have little to no admiration or appreciation for this administration, that has absolutely zero to do with this post. I wouldn’t care if it was Zohran, Obama, AOC, or Bernie heading up this thing; my viewpoint would be the same.

Why?

Because I care about people.

This isn’t about me though, it’s about the safety, security, and prosperity of this country. It’s about the impact of our government around the world and the incredible amount of harm being done to working class, vulnerable people. From those in ICE detention centers throughout this country, to those being punished for exercising their civil rights in our judicial system, to the intentional starvation of the people in Cuba, to the genocides of Palestine, Sudan, the Congo, and others… the actions of this “bro fest” is having a devastating effect across the globe.

And that’s before we even begin to talk about the war on Iran, the impact of tariffs, the loss of access to food and healthcare because of cuts to SNAP and Medicaid.

What the hell are we doing?

The House just passed an appropriations bill that takes tens of millions of dollars away from pregnant/postpartum/breastfeeding mothers and their toddlers meant to provide access to fruits and vegetables.

Who does that?

Apparently, we do.

The “greatest nation in the world”,

The “richest nation in the world”.

The “civilized western society” of the United States of America.

That’s who has decided that UFC Fights on the White House lawn deserved to be funded and honored more than veterans deserve benefits and military deserve to not die in unnecessary wars.

That’s who has decided to pardon people with convictions or pending charges of rape, sexual abuse of a minor, domestic violence, manslaughter, production of child sexual abuse material and drug trafficking.

None of what I’ve said is conjecture or hyperbole, hence the hyperlinks to the sources.

It’s a brief look at a tiny smidge of the dangers and the ridiculous that come with this administration. They aren’t just embarrassing. They have serious implications for the people and the safety/sovereignty of the country.

We might just want to do something about it.

We represent 40 states and 83 counties! Thirty-nine of those counties have two or more people on them. We meet again this coming Thursday at 6pmEST to finalize plans for our first Day of Action, Saturday April 11th at 11amEST.

Every now and then, I’ll get someone, typically a man, who jumps in the chat thread to diminish the work I do.

“You just sit on TikTok and complain all day.”

“Talking on social media isn’t going to change anything.”

Well, I know the power of social media when it’s used in the best manner. Through social media I was able to organize an entire region in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia to protest against a state-sanctioned, legislatively-created medical monopoly, Ballad Health. We filled community forums in Kingsport, TN, Blountville, TN, Greeneville, TN as well as Board of Supervisor meetings in Wise, Lee, and Washington County, Virginia. We protested on a public right of way 24/7 for 257 days and collected almost 30,000 signatures that we delivered to members of Congress and the FTC.

Social media can be incredibly effective when used in the best way possible.

What’s happening right now is another example of that.

As a response to Project 2025, Project Esther, and all the other “playbooks” written and implemented by the Heritage Foundation, I wrote Project For the People. It’s a strategy on how we stop the current madness of this administration, get our country on track, and government that works for the people… everyday, working-class people.

Last week, I let you know that I was hosting a webinar to share with anyone interested what I had been up to in 2026 and to my absolute amazement, almost 500 of you registered for the webinar! I’d been so busy working on the project that I didn’t do a lot of promotion so my subscriber community (yes, that online community built through social media that they like to say doesn’t do anything) stepped up and created videos and posts shared across platforms. To say I’m grateful for them and the turnout is an understatement.

I’ve been blown away by people’s response to the project and am truly excited to see it all come together. In the coming days, we’ll schedule our first meeting to do some training and plan our first Day of Action. I hope you’ll be there!

Like many people, I have become frustrated with the current state of the country. I hear people every day say they are tired of the political division based on political party and manipulative rhetoric.

Almost everyone I speak with or listen to is looking for answers, solutions… something they can DO about what’s happening in our country.

After over a year of hearing these things and waiting for someone to come up with something, I decided to do it myself.

You might ask “who am I to think I know what’s best”. The answer is I’m just me. I’m no better than anyone else and I don’t know everything.

I’m just willing to do it.

They recognized the great resources throughout Africa and sought to divide the country up amongst themselves. Absent from this conference was any African leadership. There was no thought that they should have a voice in their future.

Prior to that time, the continent was largely borderless with tribes and their tribal leadership.

The members of this conference were tasked with bringing “civilization” to Africa including Christianity and trade.

King Leopold II seized for himself the largely unexplored land around the Congo River, now known as the Democratic Republic of Congo, rich with ivory, palm oil, timber, and rubber.

In an effort to grow his personal wealth, King Leopold II devastated the land and the people. The people were subjected to horrid working conditions and severe punishment if their production slowed including having their hands severed and death.

Under his rule, King Leopold II was responsible for the murder of at least 10 Million Africans. Some estimates are as high as 15 Million.

The people suffered until 1908 when the atrocities were photographed by English Missionary Alice Seeley Harris and spread throughout Europe. As a result, King Leopold relinquished personal control of the region.

Colonization continues today throughout Africa at the hands of European countries including France.

What a word.

I am Pro-Palestine and consistently use my platform to help them directly.

I also 100% supported Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential election.

Cheri, a former MAGA/Trump supporter I’ve had on my panel previously, was offended by my take and the information I presented. So, I asked her to join the panel. To her credit, as she did the first time we met, Cheri accepted the invitation.

What followed was an intense, difficult, emotional, and oftentimes, heated, conversation. How it ended though, made it all worth it.

Those are not my words. They are the words of long-time Trump handler and political manipulator, Roger Stone. Now, you’re probably wondering when he said it and why you haven’t heard about it all over the news.

Good question.

During the January 6th hearings in 2023, we saw testimony and video regarding many of the events leading up to that devastating event. What we didn’t see was what happened afterwards. What were the major players thinking and saying to each other. The documentary, A Storm Foretold, gives us an in-depth view into that from the perspective of Stone.

The crew followed Stone with almost unfettered access for the majority of 2018 through January 2021. There are a laundry list of things I could tell you about what we see and hear in this film that would, and should alarm and infuriate you, but I want to focus on the last few minutes of the film. Roger is absolutely furious that Trump has chosen not to issue pardons for any potential charges that may arise from attempting to steal the 2020 election and overthrow the United States government on January 6th.

In a telling moment, Stone takes a call while riding in the back of the filmmaker’s vehicle. It’s not clear who is on the other end of the phone except that they have access to Trump and will be in the room with him at some point soon.

With his face distorted, teeth gritted, Stone is heard saying, “Rod should hold a press conference today and call for his (Trump) impeachment…”, “I’m supporting impeachment. He must be removed. His son Jared must be prosecuted. I want to know how money changed hands on Bannon and I want a federal investigation. I’m filing a complaint with the FBI this afternoon.”

“…I’m for the impeachment. I want impeachment and I’m gonna work very hard for it. I’m not kidding. He betrayed Bernie (seemingly a reference to Bernard Kerik), betrayed Rudy. He betrayed everybody. So, he has to go. He has to go. He has to go. Run again… you’ll get your fucking brains beat in.”, Stone says with increasing intensity as he’s rocking back and forth in his seat.

The next bit isn’t clear other than whomever he is speaking with his going to be in a room with Trump at some point soon. Stone tells him to punch Trump in the mouth as hard as he can if he says a particular sentiment. He also states “we’re not stupid, there is no paperwork”. Again, it’s unclear what paperwork Stone is referring to.

“He needs to be impeached. He needs to be denounced and impeached. The greatest single mistake in American history, greatest single mistake. He’s surrounded by morons and he surrounded himself by morons. And a good long sentence in prison will give him a chance to think about it because the Southern District is coming for him and he did nothing.”

After taking a shot at both Trump and Ivanka, Stone ends the call.

He then addresses the filmmaker and says, “Obviously, if you use any of that, I’ll murder you.”.

This film is not available for streaming in the United States. I only came into possession of the film during a short 48-hour window in which it was available for purchase during the January 6th hearings in 2023. What I do know is that members of Congress have seen it. Parts of it, like the meeting between in the parking garage, were shown during the hearings. People like Rick Wilson, co-founder of the Lincoln Project, have seen it. In fact, it was his post on X during the hearings that drew my attention to it. He said something to the effect of, if you think the clips you’ve seen in hearings are something, you should see the entire film. I commented where to get it and the filmmaker actually responded to me that they were working to get streaming rights in the US and if I wanted to be notified when it was available, sign up on his email list. Which, I did.

On August 18, 2023, I received an email that it was available to purchase on Vimeo because they hadn’t been able to get a streaming agreement together. Shortly after that, it was removed from Vimeo as an available purchase and carries a statement that it’s no longer available but because I purchased it, I still have access to it.

It’s no wonder the world is looking at us like we are ignorant. We are. Too many people in this country don’t have access to this film and other information that would impact the way they think, act, and vote. In the “greatest” country in the world, it seems odd that media, press, and speech are being suppressed.

If you agree, consider writing your elected officials and asking about this documentary.

The GOP will act as if the results of Tennessee’s Congressional District #7 election is a win, an expected outcome that they knew was coming the entire time. They’ll brag on their social media platforms and mass email campaigns about how Tennessee is still Trump territory.

I think they doth protest too much.

As a matter of fact, I know it and so do they.

In 2018, District 7 was a +34pt Republican stronghold. In 2020, it was virtually the same at +33pt. In 2024, that lead had dwindled to +22pt. A huge dip from prior years, but still a pretty “safe” lead to ensure a Republican win.

This morning, the GOP woke up to a +9 lead after an incredible race by Aftyn Behn.

If Nashville wasn’t gerrymandered to hell, I’d be calling her Congresswoman Aftyn Behn, but that subject would require an entirely different post.

What’s even more telling about last night’s election results is the significant shift in all of the counties in the district.

Montgomery shifted 10pts.

Williamson shifted 7.1pts.

Robertson shifted 7.5pts.

Dickson shifted 11pts.

Cheatham shifted 12pts.

Davidson shifted 20pts.

The Republican party is bleeding voters at a rate that is unsustainable. If those same shifts hold true 11 months from now, District 7 will absolutely be held by a Democrat. The question is… how many other Republican “safe” seats are out there without special elections to demonstrate their own significant shifts? I’d be willing to bet that there are quite a few based on polling numbers and more importantly, what I see in conversations on social media every day.

More and more people are seeing the Republican Party, THIS Republican Party, for what it has become, and they are not fans.

So, what does the Democratic Party need to do to capitalize on this momentum?

INVEST in EVERY race.

We’re not just focusing on big cities and swing states. Nope. The party has the money, and I hope it puts together the strategy to reach the people they have continually neglected.

The authentic, progressive populists who resonate with the people and could absolutely flip seats with the state and national party’s backing.

As I write this, I say a little prayer and push back the doubt because every time the Democratic Party has an opportunity to optimize opportunity in recent years, it has fallen dramatically short. And here’s the thing, I can promise you that the Republican Party got their lesson from last night. They are already planning, plotting, and maneuvering in whatever way they need to win back their voters. They always do.

If it wasn’t always to the detriment of people, it would be something to admire.

So, Dear Democratic Party, please listen to the people… they are not interested in “moderate” democrats. The “centrists” are dangerous to our families, and we know that now more than ever. There are fantastic candidates throughout this country who can reach the people your party has been out of touch with - support them.

Do that, and you just might win the midterms and actually save democracy.

When we get the opportunity to unpack our bias, prejudice… not just with regard to race, but so many other things, and when we do it from a space of unapologetic truth with kindness, we open the door for progress.

Mother Fletcher passed away a couple of days ago at the incredible age of 111. She was the last known survivor of the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921. We listened to her testimony and that of her brother, Hughes Van Ellis from the 2021 Congressional Hearing. It was beyond moving.

It is sad to say that both Mother Fletcher and Mr. Ellis left this world without seeing the justice and reconciliation they strived and so poignantly asked for from this country.

May we do better and soon.

While doing that, we compared the facts of the case to the testimony of Alex Acosta before the House Oversight Committee in September of this year. When you do that, there’s no denying that he appears to have lied to Congress.

There is over $23B in the State Child Nutrition Program as of October 8th 2025.

Under 7 USC 2257, the President has discretionary authority to use a percentage of those allocated funds to cover the $2B difference and FULLY fund SNAP so Americans can feed their families including seniors, children, and people with disabilities.

The federal judge told the Administration this in his court order last Saturday.

President Trump and his Asministration are CHOOSING to not fund SNAP and feed 42 million Americans.

There is NO justification for this.

NONE.
