One more thing: I’ve spoken before about being a part of and identifying with the Soysphere - at least previously - so there surely will be some inherent bias. I’ve done a fairly good job writing articles on things I’ve been closely involved with in the past without that being a problem, and when I do voice my opinion or break neutrality, it will be very obvious. And it’s currently not possible to write an article like this without having extensive knowledge of this community - and you will see why shortly - so this is the best it’s going to get.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

One hour after I finished writing this article, the main website was suddenly sold (?) to a new owner who has completely reworked the entire website and sacked the current administration. Every chunk of text colored like this was written last-minute to address the sudden and significant changes since that began a few days ago.

I’ve also censored the article a bit.

The Absolute Basics

Early Soystory and /qa/

Soyjak Party is a splinter (offshoot) of 4chan. There was a board named /qa/, Questions and Answers, once used by the owner of 4chan as a Q&A session board before being forgotten, but still left up and unlocked so anyone could freely post. The only rules applied to the board were 4chan’s general SFW rules, and the board had no specific theme or board-specific janitors (moderators). A bunch of shit nobody cares about happened as various cultures on 4chan fought over who would dominate the board, but it ultimately ended up forgotten by everyone and dead by 2019. While this was happening, in /int/, the International board, and /tv/, the Television board, soyjakking, the creation of soyjaks (usually referred to as ‘jakking) became very popular, the first soyjak being created in Dec. 2017 and soyjak posting/soyjakking becoming very popular by 2018. If you don’t recognize them by name, these are soyjaks:

At the most bare minimum, soyjaks are drawings meant to mock the visually repulsive. It is an inherently right-wing concept, born in a (somewhat) right-wing environment, made by right-wing people. 4channers in /int/ and /tv/ became increasingly annoyed at this, and eventually soyjaks were banned from those boards. Soyjakkers fled to /qa/, where they quickly dominated the empty board, and soyjakking culture began to rapidly evolve as /qa/ grew larger and larger and culturally drifted from the rest of the site, briefly becoming the largest off-topic board on 4chan. While this happened, though, the oldfаgs (the term for older users of 4chan) became increasingly hostile towards this growing soyjak culture. 4chan is largely populated by millennials, who seem to really hate Zoomers and really hate fun, putting them at odds with the youthful and soulful soyjakkers of /qa/.

In late 2020, a /qa/ poster named Soot made his own imageboard named Soyjak Party, for the creation and sharing of soyjaks. It was obviously dead on arrival, as he expected, since it was just made as a joke. There were enough people posting soyjaks, though, that it was kept up, at least for now.

One activity that became popular in /qa/, and is one of the defining and famous aspects of sharty culture today, are raids, “an organized attempt to prank/troll others online through mass action.” These became more elaborate, common, and large in scope (years later becoming much more than just pranks/trolling, such as hunting down pedos or other extreme repugnant individuals), but /qa/ eventually went too far, leading to the Great Soyset1. On November 3rd, 2021, /qa/ invaded the board /lgbt/ with troonjak spam, wiping the board.

Given /qa/ had already been on thin ice, and 4chan jannies were comprised of many seething trannies by this point, /qa/ was completely wiped and permanently locked. Soyjakkers fled to all different corners of the internet, but most of all, to Soyjak Party.

Soyspeak

Before we get any further, one of the most important concepts you must know about to understand the Soysphere outside of this article is Soyspeak. It is an artificial English dialect, originally created by Soot in the early days of Soyjak Party, meant to differentiate the sharty and its culture from 4chan.

While Soyspeak may sound extremely retarded, forced, and unlikely to work at all, it actually succeeded. This is primarily because the evolution of Soyspeak past the original conception by Soot has derived itself from inside jokes and terms naturally catching on that seem funny, which has allowed it to grow naturally, and it allows covert operations during raids and makes outsiders who even find the sharty incapable of reading a raid thread (and thus unable to tattle). In addition, it was invented during the peak of social media censorship, so it provided a way to covertly use chuddy language and insults now that it was no longer possible to do in any direct way, which it is still used for today in places like Youtube comment sections.

By now, a whole 5 years since the dialect was born, it takes weeks of active studying to understand enough to reliably comprehend threads or even just individual posts. That being said, I’m going to keep this as simple as possible and only explain the absolute basics, the most common and important terms and grammatical rules in Soyspeak.

Apostrophisation is the most important concept in Soyspeak. Just understanding this will allow you to read most of it. Words longer than three letters can be contracted, the first syllable being replaced with an apostrophe. Like English, there are a bunch of random exceptions or stipulations to this rule, and if a word has already been apostrophized, then a word that would have an equivalent apostrophisation can be altered or left unchanged, or contracted more than one syllable. Some examples of apostrophisation include:

Soyjak = ‘jak
Pizza = ‘za

Discord = ‘cord

Tiktok = ‘tok

Banished (the origin of “ban”) = ‘nished

Soysphere = the ‘sphere

Soyjak Party = the ‘arty

Soyjak Wiki = the ‘ki

The Soyjak Wiki’s descriptions and examples of apostrophisation are not very good and a bit dated. Words that start with a one-letter syllable are only very rarely apostrophised outside of covert raids, and common words are left unchanged in actual usage. If someone overuses it you immediately know they’re a nusoi. But what’s a nusoi?

Soyspeak also contains many artificial words and acronyms. You don’t have to memorize these, but some of the most important are:

“Soyjak Party, the sharty, the ‘arty” is the imageboard I’ve already described thus far.

“Soyteen, ‘teen, ‘jakker, soyim” is a user of Soyjak Party, called “teen” because the average age on the sharty is was between 14 and 26, until the Cacacaust where everyone under 18 was banned.

“Soyjak Wiki, the ‘ki” is the Soyjak Wiki.

“Soybooru, the ‘ru” is the booru (and now much more) for the sharty.

“nu ‘teen, nusoi (mildly derogatory), nuswah, nuGOD (compliment)” is a new user of the sharty.

“Offsiters” means anyone who does not use the sharty, especially in the context of those who ignorantly or maliciously appropriate sharty culture.

“geg” means “kek” which means “lol”

“Leakage, leaking” means seething or crashing out.

“(You)” means you.

“Literal who” means a nobody, someone unknown or that nobody cares about.

“Doe, doebeit, thoughbeit” means “though”. It’s also a word used at the very end of the sentence that doesn’t really mean anything doebeit

“4cuck, the ‘cuck” mean 4chan. The latter is one of my favorite soy terms.

“Glowie/Glows/Glowing” refers to a federal agent or anyone undercover from a three-letter-agency, coined by the creator of TempleOS, Terry Davis. This was not created in or by the sharty but is extremely common in Soyspeak.

“Giga” is a Gigachad.

“Bran[CENSORED]r” is a derogatory term for (usually right-wing) Xitter users.

“Chud” means an unsociable, far-right, typically young male user of imageboards. It also refers to Chudjak, where the name and those traits come from. Normie offsiters have tried to water down chud into just meaning “loser”. It doesn’t. Don’t use it that way. Chudjak is nowadays closely tied with Nate as the most common soyteen self-insert, but was previously the main one.

“Frog” generally refers to Pepe, but it can refer to other frog characters like Apustaya.

“-NVKE” is a suffix that’s a bit difficult to explain; it refers to “a major thing”. This is where “TruthNUKE” and similar “-NVKE” memes came from, but it has one more common connotation, that being a major thing used in a raid (for example, a GlowNVKE is when somebody is reported to the police/feds).

”Namefаg” refers to someone who posts not anonymously, whether through making themselves identifiable with syntax/images, the namefield, tripcodes, posting outside of the sharty, or by posting on the ‘ru, which has usernames and accounts.

‘toss is short for “Stonetoss”, and refers to a low-medium effort edit, subvariant, nuvariant, or comic. It’s named after Stonetoss, who invented political comics2.

There are quite a few terms where “soy” is swapped in to refer to the domain of the sharty and soysphere. Soystory for the sharty’s history, the Soyical Arts for the study of ‘jakking techniques and various artistic endeavors, Soyvil Wars for major conflicts in the soysphere, etc.

IAS means “Is A Soyjak”
NAS means “Not A Soyjak”

SNCA means “Shit Nobody Cares About”. You may also see “Shit Nophono Cares Fan About”.

‘g is a video that cuts to the loudest possible noise, sometimes immediately or after starting off quiet, in order to hurt someone’s ears, burst speakers, or startle them, with the fastest possible flashing visuals.

‘o is a genre of AI generated slop meant to look as disgusting and repulsive as possible and is a sort of “TOS-Approved” form of mild gore in how unsettling it is. Chicken Factory is the most famous example of this on the sharty.

Antimatter/‘p is horrible, illegal shit, that being exploitative material of children. The majority of modern raids are on pedophiles, as anyone who’s talked about anything related to antimatter can be “messed with” to the maximum degree without holding back and are one of the only targets that can be sent GlowNVKES, and many have gotten arrested from the sharty finding their location/identity and reporting them to the feds.

Pronouns are also changed. When talking to a leftist, especially while undercover, you use the pronouns “xhe/xer/xis”. Or you can just use those whenever you feel like it, especially if it’d be funny. It’s sometimes applied to troons as well, but this can be seen as somewhat affirming to do and creates less leakage than using their actual pronouns, so that’s considered somewhat controversial.

There are multiple very common terms that I cannot write or describe on Substack. You can use your imagination on what those may be.

The Mineral Rating System

The two most important ratings here are “gem” and “coal”, those being “very good” and “bad” respectively. Have (You) seen people use the gem-coal dichotomy? Probably, because it might be the Soyspeak that’s most escaped containment. There are a lot of categories there, and about half aren’t used. These are the ones that matter, that you see even on Xitter (X/Twitter) used by unaware offsiters quite often:

Gemerald - amazing, incredible stuff.

Gem - Something that’s really good, great.

Coal - Something that sucks.

Dust - Something that sucks and is totally unmemorable.

Brimstone - Something cancerous and gross. See examples above.

Antimatter - Horrible stuff, as said above.

Combinations are often used. If something is “dusty” then it’s unmemorable and has mediocre elements. Something in-between categories could be, for example, “rusty iron”, or something great but with a few noticeably bad elements would be “a gem with coalish elements.”

Eras of Soystory

The amount of history that’s gone on in the sharty is unbelievably long and unbelievably a waste of time. I’ve spent around ~40 hours reading the ‘ki, and I only have a superficial understanding of the sharty’s important events before the mid Froot era. I will make this extremely short, as much as I can, only describing the most important and influential moments in the history of the sharty, but feel free to read up on as much as you’d like on the ‘ki3.

There are four five eras of Soystory - the Soot Era, Kuz Era, Froot Era, and Quote Era, each named after the respective owner of the sharty during that time. The pink blot in the middle is the very brief Doll Era.

The Soot Era (2020 to mid-2022) is where ‘jakking and sharty culture first developed. The site was extremely niche during that time, but the majority of the most important and famous variants not made in /qa/ were made here. During this time, the site had many problems during its bumpy transition towards being an actual site, such as antimatter and gore spam during the hours jannies were asleep, fighting over the rules and identity of the site, and how to even find enough jannies willing to run this place. During this time, he created the ‘ki to ‘chive (archive) important soyjaks and the history of the party, which still exists today. Due to requirements from school, Soot became more and more distant while his quite terrible jannies failed to keep the site in good condition while he was gone, and he ended up selling all three sharty websites to an eager janny named Kuz in the Great Purchase for $2000, right as the website began to take off.

The Kuz Era (mid-2022 to mid-2023) is where the sharty rapidly exploded in popularity. Immediately after the website was sold to Kuz, the Russian owner of the Kolyma Network, many Soot Loyalists fled and created the first notable splinter, the Jarty, users of which were known as “jartycucks”, as the splinter produced nothing of note besides drama and conflict and didn’t even make any soyjaks. Kuz was not a visibly horrible owner for much of his reign, but he eventually disappeared and had the site sold. At the time soyteens believed this was because he had died of AIDS, but it was actually because Kuz was a homosexual troon-loving pedophile exposed for doing all kinds of crazy illegal shit, and he wasn’t even Russian. He then went crazy (actually crazy) with paranoia, and one of his grooming victim KolymaNET managers found a way to take control of the website and sold it for him while he lost his mind. Kuz also likely even caused antimatter spam. Kuz-era influence was largely wiped from the sharty under Froot’s reign, during what he called “Dekuzification”. Despite it all, Kuz was not a bad administrator; he did keep the site in good enough condition in his plans to turn KolymaNET into an internet force. And btw, just because the Jarty was made out of hatred of Kuz doesn’t make it good. It was still a shithole.

At this rough midpoint I want to briefly stop and bring up a few things.

Why did Soyjak Party succeed while other altchans and alt-tech failed?

I believe this is primarily because of the situation of the internet at the time. If you have not read about The Closure of the Internet, or did not already intuitively understand that from what’s happened around us, the internet was forcefully “closed” to right-wing ideas and attitudes over the course of 2014-2023. In 2021, when /qa/ was destroyed, this was practically at its peak. Where did soyteens have to flee to? Where could they go? There was nowhere but other altchans and crappy Telegram group chats, and why use those instead of this up-and-coming Soyjak Party? This is also considered one of the reasons for the sharty’s recent decline. Twitter, and to a much smaller degree, Instagram have become friendly towards right-wingers and offensive content, and the sharty diaspora there now even outright admit they wouldn’t have used the sharty had these places been available at the time.

But back to chronological history. There were also some notable developments over the course of this time. 4chan had become increasingly hostile towards the sharty in response to raids and other things, any links now being an instant ban and soyjaks largely banned from the whole imageboard. The ‘ru was created at some point, I forget when, originally being a searchable archive of every soyjak or soyjak edit. Discords containing sharty diaspora - or at least those claiming to be - became an increasingly big problem with drama, namefаgs, grooming, and generally just shitting up the soysphere while producing absolutely nothing good at all, and many unsavory groups - which we’ll talk about later - using soy culture as a method of attracting teens to groom. Anyone implicated in being a part of a soycord (any ‘cord with even a loose connection to sharty culture), or even claiming to as a joke, was (and still is) permabanned immediately.

The Doll Era (mid-2023) was when DOLL (who I’ll just call Doll), one of the few well-liked jannies at the time, purchased the site from Kuz’s admin who sold it for him while Kuz’s life deservedly fell apart. Doll only considered himself a “temporary owner” while trying to find someone actually fit to run the website to sell it to, which took a few months, but he served as head admin for quite a while longer and did a decent job. He’s generally considered one of the better owners and administrators the website has had. He was responsible for weeding out the most significant Kuzist figures and similar bad actors. He banned gore and (briefly) banned raids. His reign ended in the Soypocalypse, where the sharty and the ‘ru were destroyed by a rogue Kuzist troon mod who took control, while Doll ran out of money to host the website (among other things), causing the party then shutting down for the foreseeable future (actually just two weeks).

The Froot Era (mid-2023 to mid-2025) is famous for Froot being overbearing and leaky, creating a “janny cabal” ‘cord that would slowly grow distant from soykind, the sudden small (but noteworthy) infestation of degenerates that were tolerated - if not indulged - by Frootists, and also the Great Cuckset. Froot forgot to pay for the .party domain and lost it.

PPH, basically the imageboard-equivalent of GDP and how well it’s doing, stalled during his reign. Nuvariant production drastically slowed down, and posting quality noticeably declined. Another important addition was media approval, an approval system for anything posted that has a unique hash (i.e. has never been posted before), finally putting an end to any and all antimatter on the ‘log (catalog), outside of links, which are much easier to remove. This below is a good example of showing what I meant earlier by much of Soystory being endless SNCA. Here’s a screenshot from the ‘ki page of the Fourth Soyvil War:

Then, near the end of the Frootist reign, 4chan was hacked, which is what the sharty is most famous for now.

The Great Cuckset (4chan Hacked)

If you remember, soyteens refer to 4chan as the ‘cuck, so as an inverse of the Great Soyset when /qa/ was shut down, this is known as “The Great Cuckset” or sometimes “The True Operation Soyclipse”. The common narrative among offsiters is that the mysterious hackers on the snarky snappy all got together and plotted for years to hack the website or whatever and get revenge. It’s true that Operation Soyclipse, getting revenge on 4chan, had been planned and attempted for years, but the hack was just the work of one soyteen. For a couple hours, /qa/ was brought back and soyteens had complete control over 4chan before the whole website was taken down. Every bit of sensitive info you could think of was leaked, even things like internal janitor ban logs/messages for every user or post going back decades, revealing interesting information such as 4chan jannies intentionally trying to censor and shut down Gamergate back in 2015-2016.

This swamped the sharty with an incredible amount of attention and (temporary) new users, most fleeing from 4chan, which made the site basically unusable for a while, even as many new boards were added to accommodate this flood of traffic. Surprisingly, though, this didn’t actually destroy the sharty, and after a month or so the site went back to normal, albeit with a lot of nusois. But the sharty was never quite the same, and things like raids have become much more difficult now that obsessive troons monitor and snitch 24/7 and nusois who don’t care about ‘jakking have come to the party.

The Quote Era (2025 to Now) is what we’re currently under now. Froot gave the sharty to his admin Quote, a Briton living in the hellhole that is the U.K. The administration is mostly disliked by the remaining soyteens. You can see the PPH has taken a nosedive for various reasons, but the most significant is that the ‘ru has been massively expanded from just a booru, adding built-in forums and user pages and DMs and various namefаg-indulging features that steal the sharty’s PPH. This has lead to the previously nearly identical cultural and demographic makeup of the sharty and the ‘ru to split, and it hasn’t seemed particularly good for either side. I will say, though, that I think I understand the intent there; this is just conjecture, but I bet this was done to keep the soycords and offsite diaspora as roped in as possible and kept within a controlled environment, which has seemed to have happened. Quote added extreme datamining, supposedly to make ban evasion impossible. Quote then enacted the “Brownocaust”, banning everyone from third-world countries from posting on the sharty (not the ‘ru though), and the “Cacacaust”, banning anyone under the age of 18.

Nuvariant and subvariant creation is at an all-time low, and the few that have been made were almost immediately co-opted by offsiters seeking to profit off of lucrative sharty culture. Quote disappeared halfway into his reign as he was “bored of the sharty”, leaving his head admin Mustard as the de-facto leader of the sharty and the ‘ru. Namefаgging and bait is worse than ever, yet Mustard seems to not mind this at all - in fact, from ‘cord leaks, we’ve found out he enjoys it! Due to a bunch of drama, the Fifth Soyvil War is raging on as I write this, and the site is largely unusable. We’ll see if the sharty survives the Quote Administration; it’s been horribly bleak before, but this may be the longest consistent decline yet.

Last-minute update: As of a few hours ago, Quote is gone. A new, completely unknown owner is in charge, but only of the sharty and the ‘ki. Integrity (datamining) has been updated and some are claiming it now contains a keylogger (edit: probably false). His first act was to ban furries and gooners, sack every person in the Administration, undo every Quote-era ban, and unban gore.

The ‘ki, the ‘ru, and SNCA

The Soyjak Wiki, known as the ‘ki, is a Mediawiki-based Wiki that contains everything there is to know about not just the sharty, but anyone and anything that’s interacted with the sharty or that soyteens have had any interest in. I personally spent around a year reading the ‘ki off and on as I lurked the website before I first posted, which is why, despite discovering the website in the late Kuz era and orbiting for a while, I only actually started to post in the mid-late Froot era.

The ‘ki is extremely fun and extremely awesome, and in my opinion is the epitome of what’s good about the sharty. I sometimes see millennials complain about how the internet used to be so fun, how you could explore for hours and find all kinds of unique and interesting websites. If you’ve never looked at it, I’d say that’s what the ‘ki is. I have one major criticism, not of the ‘ki specifically, but of an element of sharty culture it contains, which I’ll touch on soon, but it’s a really great and really fun website to explore.

Two random example pages:

The Soybooru, known as the ‘ru, is the booru for the sharty, but nowadays is much more than that. A booru is a repository of files that can be searched by tag, and is the most underrated form of archiving and sharing content. It now also includes forums, known as the Broom, and various other things, such as the ability to friend or enemy other users or earn various badges through different ways. In other words, it’s a hellhole of namefаggery as there are no punishments for being degenerate, and since NSFW uploads were unbanned last year (but only visible if you are signed in), it’s now full of furries and gooners.

Outside of those two, there are other official or officially-endorsed unofficial soysphere websites, but none of them matter. There’s the IRC, which is an IRC, an old form of online communication I believe from before even Teamspeak. There’s the Shroom and the Schlog, which are forums that nobody cares about, and some other similar not-exactly-splinter websites.

Last-minute update: Fifteen minutes ago the ‘ru + IRC and the sharty were officially separated by the new sharty owner after hostility from Quotists still administrating those, officially dividing the Soysphere. After a brief conflict, it seems anti-Quotists have gained full control over the ‘ki, making it sided w/ the sharty.

Sharty Culture and ‘jaks

Soyjaks and Soy Mythos

It’s time we finally talk about soyjaks themselves. HOWEVER, I will only be talking about those with distinct, sharty-related identities, so general soyjaks will only be discussed collectively. Feel free to read the Soyjak Wiki if you want to know about any or all soyjaks.
The purpose of this section is both to give you an overview of the most significant soyjaks & NAS in the Soysphere, as well as give you an idea of the ‘arty’s non-Soyspeak influence on internet culture.

Defining a few terms:

”Nuvariants” are new variants.

“Variant” is a distinct ‘jak at least majority not based on a previous ‘jak. A ‘jak radically different from its origin(s) (e.g. Impish Soyak Ears) or drawn/traced from a unique origin (e.g. Feraljak) is a variant.

“Subvariant” is a ‘jak based upon a variant not unique enough to be deemed its own variant. An example of this would be Wholesomejak, a subvariant of Gapejak.

“Edit” is a ‘jak based upon a variant/subvariant not unique enough to qualify as either.

“Theme” is a theme built on or over pre-existing ‘jaks. An example of this would be Nate.

Nate/Natejak is the self-insert representation of a soyteen. He’s characterized as being a spergy 16 18 year old with ADHD who’s a bit socially inept, prone to seething, addicted to posting bald men with glasses, and frequently annoyed by normies around him.

He’s the protagonist of the Nateverse, a series of sharty artwork, videos, animations and games with a loose canon centered around Nate and his mishaps with other sharty-related characters. The most canon basis of it, the first three Natetoks (parodies of Tiktok brainrot stories), can be watched here or here4.

Chud/Chudjak is by far the most famous and popular variant not to have fully originated from the Soysphere. He originally came from a commie trying to insult right-wingers, “le pol face”, traced off the mass shooter Patrick Crusius, but it was immediately co-opted and embraced, becoming a right-wing meme and the most common self-insert before Nate (and is still very common to this day).

The actual chudjak, i.e. the side profile and updated front profile with a body and face that follows proper ‘jakking principles (which is what became popular and is shown above) came from a /qa/-era soyjakker who also invented several other extremely famous variants5, but he’d be sharty culture regardless and is the most used variant in the Soybooru archives, currently at 40,000 uploads (no repeats) featuring him.

His personality is similar to Nate (in the Nateverse he eventually becomes Nate’s best friend), but he’s considerably more paranoid, edgy, conspiratorial, antisocial, and typically an actual neo-nazi. The Natetok linked above actually nails his personality down to a T.

He is easily the most bastardized of sharty culture. Everyday normies around the world now call each other “chuds” as an insult, which to them just means “loser” now. The White House and Nayib Bukele (among many other famous figures) have posted memes of Chudjak.

Troonjak is a /qa/-era subvariant of Bernd that has become infamous across the political internet, especially in right-wing circles, though like all soyjaks nearly all notable material comes from the ‘arty. This is, in my opinion, the only thing to escape containment of the sharty that has not been diluted or ruined by offsiters at all.

“Common”/Template Soyjaks

One thing not brought up often on the topic of soyjaks is that they have, so far, managed to adapt as the culture and times have changed.

They were originally created to mock soyboys and cuckolds; that’s nothing new, we know this. During COVID, they became extremely popular for mocking COVID freaks, some of the most insufferable and soy individuals on the planet at the time.

Around that same time they became very popular for mocking troons, and still are, as there very likely is nothing more narcissistic, soy, destructive, brainwashed, and hideous as the troon. In recent times, they’ve been increasingly used to make fun of third-worlders (but honestly every ethnicity), and while there’s no definitive evidence of this, I would argue that’s largely due to the browning of the internet (and soyteen demographics). As the sharty has become more known outside the soysphere, subvariants attacking offsiters and leeches and internet entities have also become very common.

Most importantly, because soyjaks are more so templates than memes, you can theme them about or for anything. That’s made them, at least so far, seemingly immortal, and in that sense totally unlike the quite transient nature memes normally have.

Meximutt is a morbidly obese soyjak based off of satoko_houjo_fan, a Mexican lolcow on the ‘ru who eventually deleted his account in shame and left the Soysphere. This is also where the “o algo” meme/soyspeak comes from. He’s become quite popular with offsiters, including among Latin Americans who fight with each other on social media. You may have seen the viral AI-generated clips of realistic Meximutt doing various things such as singing. Surprisingly, Meximutt has not been particularly watered down from his roots (compared to nearly all other ‘jaks), besides the lost knowledge of his basis being satoko of the ‘ru.

Hunky/HTSM is a ‘jak that has not yet been co-opted by offsiters, but is extremely popular in the Soysphere. Earlier I mentioned how a major divide among soyteens is between what I’ll just call “nihilists” and moralists. Hunky was created to mock moralists, and is basically just a black and obese Nate that repeats moralfаgging but in ebonics. Like what happened with Chud, he’s been embraced by those he was supposed to mock and is now a wholesome moralGOD character.

His AI version is much more popular than his ‘jak version, and modern ‘tosses tend to reflect the AI design more so than his original ‘jak. I also suspect that part of the reason for his popularity is the increasing number of non-white soyteens.

Soytan

Soytan was created as the mascot of Soyjak Party two days into its existence, in lieu of an anime girl mascot that ‘chans always go with, meant to resemble an anthropomorphic bottle of soylent. However, she is very controversial among soyteens, as it’s supposed to be a website about bald men with glasses, with a culture that’s anti-tranime at that. From the creation of the ‘ru in ~2021 until three months ago, she had the #1 spot on “controversial uploads”, i.e. those with the highest and most equal like-to-dislike ratios. I think opinion of her has become more positive over the years, but that’s likely a bad thing (the replacement of soyteen demographics). I don’t dislike her solely because she’s a good character in the Nateverse.

Skip this paragraph if you don’t care about soyjakking. Outside of that, her existence proves why the NAS/IAS distinct is almost certainly the biggest failure in the Soyical Arts. She was deemed IAS, is a soyjak, along with other very obvious NAS like Meximutt, Kuzjak, (arguably) Chudjak, etc. You can’t reduce something like being a jak to just a “yes” or “no” question because there’s a level of ambiguity to it, and even just the slightest bit more complexity to the process of making that distinction would’ve made it no longer useless. What should’ve happened is a system where it’s first “IAJ” or “NAJ”, is or not a jak, based on how well and to what degree it follows proper ‘jakking principles, and anything that is a jak could then be evaluated for if it is a soyjak. And then you could determine if it is or isn’t sharty culture. Soytan is absolutely IAJ, as she follows ‘jakking principles to a T, but she doesn’t have a single soyjak trait other than glasses, so obvious NAS, but is absolutely sharty culture regardless. Soyak would be IAJ, IAS, ISC. Wojak would be IAJ, NAS, NSC. Gigas and frogs would be NAJ, NAS, ISC. Chudjak, Meximutt, Kuzjak, etc would be IAJ, NAS, ISC. You get it.

AI Gigas, Gigafly

Even as far back as 2018 /int/, there’s been a close relationship between gigas (Gigachads) and soyjaks, as well as the posters and “creators” (for giga it was previously just photoshop) of both. As you may or may not know, gigachad memes fell out of style for a few years before resurging recently, most notably with the seemingly endless stream of AI clips of gigachad doing various goofy things. These are all made in and by Soyjak Party, mostly from 2024-2025, including the edits. While it’s now hidden (only oldGODs allowed), the ‘arty even has a dedicated board for creating and sharing gigas, and there was a short-lived splinter based around gigas.

A lot of giga variants were made, but the one most bastardized by outsiders, specifically by crypto rugpullers on Xitter, is gigafly, a deformed gigachad standing on top of a giant fly. This was also my personal favorite. Chudjak at least had a brief moment of glory where he was reaching popularity, yet still reflective of his original conception and purpose. Gigafly was taken and milked by scammers before offsiters even knew of him, and that’s now the only thing he’s known for on Xitter. I suppose it’s kind of cool that Ernest Khalimov, the actual, real-life gigachad the photos are from, has seen and responded to gigafly clips. But now you can hardly even find anything gigafly-related that isn’t safe-edgy garbage or contains constant embedded crypto references.

There’s a whole cast of giga variants and I’d prefer them to stay unknown for as long as possible, lest we have another gigafly, so I won’t go into any more detail than that. If you suddenly see another AI giga go viral, one that’s actually funny and not safe-edgy slop, this is probably where it’s from.

Offsiter/Social Media ‘jaks

This entry is a bit cheating. These generally aren’t even subvariants, besides maybe the twitter ‘jak in the top image, as they’re just themed ‘jaks with an especially distinct & consistent identity nowadays. The time frame between something being made and being stolen by offsiters has only gotten shorter and shorter, so soyteens have gotten even more aggressive and irritated towards outsiders over the years. The Xitter ‘jak is by far the most common of the ones featured above.

Feralsquirrel/Squirreljak

Originally created for no particular purpose besides to be funny, it almost immediately became an allegorical figure for the Great Replacement due to the currenly undergoing genocide of red squirrels by non-native grey squirrels in the U.K. He’s mostly just a fun character though.

AI Frogs

These are all quite recent, each being created in only the past few months. There are hundreds of edits of each of these, variants of “Opsec Level: (X)”, “This is really (X)”, and the original AI pepe with various different expressions or saying different stuff (typically, as frogposters do, deriding nusois). They’re currently still early in the process of being appropriated by offsiters, but not as early as it should be given how recent they are.

SMVs, (Video) Edits, High-effort OC

One of the earliest known SMVs.

There are a lot of high-effort projects made by soyteens. The most famous of these are SMVs, Soy Music Videos. From 2022-2023, SMVs on the ‘tube were likely one of the top causes of immigration and nu’teens discovering the website, and mildly controversial given they typically have to censor the chuddy nature of the ‘arty. Soyteens have made hundreds of SMVs, both animated music videos and songs, many sung with unique (not AI) vocals and sharty-related lyrics. The biggest uploader of SMVs going all the way back to 2022 was banned last month, so now ~60 SMVs are no longer findable.

Within the Irony

The sharty has a unique set of beliefs and positions that sets it largely against the entire internet. I recently participated in a very active thread/poll asking if “Kiwifarms is our greatest ally”, as it is the only website not hostile towards Soyjak Party, and the consensus seemed to be “soyteens have no allies”. Soyteen beliefs include:

• The complete annihilation of [CENSORED]. Leftists and especially troons are the main enemy of the party, as they’re the ones who destroyed /qa/, and more importantly, destroyed the entire internet and every online community that was previously the birthright of spergy, chronically online young men.

• Completely rejecting tranime (anime). This is one of the biggest things that pisses off 4channers and Xitter (X/Twitter) users despite not mattering very much.

• Actual self-awareness. In niche, chronically online, extreme communities, self-awareness tends to be rare, but it’s one of the most significant and underrated aspects of sharty culture. Look at the self-inserts: Chud, the ugly, asocial, basement-dwelling user, seething at the world, and the more realistic (created for the sharty) self-insert of Nate, a spergy 16 18 year old with ADHD who’s a bit asocial/socially inept, prone to seething, and annoyed by the normies around him. Just look at what they call themselves - soyteens! This is what I believe to be the most important reason why no community or group has been able to fight back - outside of subversion.

• Embracing anything that causes leakage. This includes very vulgar jokes and bait that pearl-clutching, especially older and very Christian right-wingers do not appreciate, even though they’re ultimately just making fun of cuckolds and degenerates (at least… they were). Sometimes it’s meant to bait anyone, including right-wingers, just for the fun of it, which is why ‘stikas and black suns and the most extreme edgy RW concepts/memes are very commonly used (besides due to Chudjak’s personality/lore of course). Shock images are often deployed in raids. Examples of bait (low-quality examples though, given the Soyvil War going on):

• Having fun and not taking things too seriously. Some soyteens might disagree with that given the amount of drama and conflict that goes on, but ultimately there is no other internet community or space quite like Soyjak Party with how irreverent - yet, in a way, “puritan” and reactionary - it is. Embracing nuGODS that don’t post coal, or making fun of millennials for being old and whiny, it doesn’t really exist anywhere else, and it’s a very interesting respite from the otherwise low-IQ, overly serious, left-wing, and/or millennial-controlled internet. HOWEVER: there comes a point where this goes too far. Not taking anything seriously is not a good thing. “Irony-poisoning” is a much-discussed phenomenon, especially on the sharty, but in my opinion it doesn’t quite describe what’s so bad about this. I’ll talk much more on this soon, it’s possibly the most important topic in relation to the more extreme events around the sharty.

• Being anti-gooner. One thing you’ll notice from millennials everywhere, for example, on right-wing Xitter and Substack, is that they’re obsessed with goonbait and the “hot right-wing girl of the week” or “jokes” about it. Outside of bait, that’s totally rejected on the sharty as bran[CENSORED]r behavior.

• Moralism? This is a somewhat controversial topic as of late, and soyteens seem largely split maybe 30-70 between the extreme nihilists, those who believe that anything fun should be permitted (such as raiding completely innocent people or posting obscene gore), and the self-proclaimed moralGODs, who believe degeneracy is bad and wrong and should be the target of the sharty’s wrath because of that.

Additionally, here’s an informal political survey posted on the ‘ru from around a month ago. Keep in mind that the ‘ru is the most left-leaning place in the Soysphere, full of actual furries and degenerates and troons.

Only 80 votes, which isn’t great, but good enough. 59% right-wing, 18% center, and 23% left-wing. On the actual sharty I’d guess it’s around 70% right-wing, 15% center, and 15% left-wing.

What Is Real?

What do soyteens actually believe? For example, as I said above, it’s common to see ‘stikas, black suns, extremely edgy references and terms, etc used in memes on the sharty. Someone unfamiliar with these would assume, “so they’re neo-nazis.” Are they correct? Maybe. When you go too deep in the irony and insincerity, what is or is not genuine begins to blur depending on the individual. What one ‘teen says as a joke another says in complete sincerity, or what begins as a joke turns into something serious. This is where the scourge of furries and actual troons using the sharty and posting “bait”, now just their actual degenerate thoughts, comes from. What started out as bait to drive out humorless puritans (as the site was created for puritans with humor) went too far, until the bait being posted became real.

But for most soyteens being neo-nazis, I would say no. From everything I’ve seen, I’d say maybe 20% of the sharty would actually consider themselves that. The demographics are still fairly white, fairly Christian, mostly American and Northwestern European, but there are plenty of Eastern Europeans, Latin Americans (Argentina was spared in the Brownocaust), various Asians (including a single Kazakh soyteen and Bamar soyteen), even SEA individuals, and those are obviously not going to be neo-nazis. That nobody is particularly bothered by these people’s origins (you can see the nation/state flag their IP is based from on certain boards) is pretty significant evidence to the contrary of soyteens being hardline extreme right-wing nazi-larping pagans or whatever. But the site and its culture are very right-wing, that’s true, and that’s not a bad thing either. Being right-wing is good, actually, and not something you should ever apologize or seek approval for.

How I would describe Soyjak Party is that it’s on the razor-thin edge of the mainstream and extreme. A step forward and you’re on actual criminal websites and communities that engage with rather dark stuff, as seen in the ‘cords and orbiters that have fused with very extreme groups that I will describe soon enough. A step back and you’re at Kiwifarms, another step and you’re at 4chan and mainstream altchans, another and you’re at right-wing Xitter/Substack, etc. It’s on the exact edge of acceptability and perhaps “normality”, although there’s surely a better way to describe it than that.

In fact, you can see this range between the acceptable and the extreme just within the boundaries of the main Soysphere.

The SFW boards, the ones people use being /r/, /mtv/, /v/, and /tech/, are still within the realm of acceptability, but definitely a step further than the ‘ru. I actually don’t know if the mild shock images that you see on the other “SFW” boards, i.e. /soy/, /raid/ and /qa/, are allowed here, but if they are, I’ve never seen any (not even ‘cado). The jokes are as edgy as it gets, but that doesn’t matter, who cares. It’s probably even more SFW than 4chan’s equivalent boards or Xitter.

The ‘ru is a bit more tame than even Xitter and Reddit; there is no (real) gore, (realistic) porn, or anything of that nature, and it’s kept closely monitored for any rule violations. But unlike the sharty, it does allow sexual content since around a year ago, so in that aspect it’s worse. But the real proof that it’s fairly tame is that there’s a significant number of actual women - yes, actually female, not trooned out - soyteens on the ‘ru, and they produce quite good art, even if it’s quite normified. This is likely the only place in the Soysphere where real women outnumber troons.

A step forward from that are the “SFW” boards of /soy/, /raid/, /qa/, and I suppose the ‘ki. Here it largely depends what you choose to engage with. Most content is totally benign. A new soyjak edit, a bait thread, WIP high-effort OC, trolling, SNCA, etc. There’s some NSFW, but only a very short list that has to meet certain conditions Nvm. It’s all just like /pol/ now with extreme gore all over those boards.

/raid/ and raid threads on /soy/ are sometimes borderline, or depending on where you live, possibly criminal to partake in. I don’t believe this applies to raids targeting outright predators, but I don’t know for sure. Sometimes there are threads posted that are absolutely glowing. And there are the occasional extreme threads that are allowed to stay up if they just skirt violating the rules enough; I’ll get more into this in the section on orbiters.

Finally, at the true extreme of the official Soysphere, are /pol/, /nate/ (removed), and /b/ (removed), the true 18+ NSFW boards. The latter two both included any sexual material not illegal (now this is no longer permitted anywhere but the ‘ru), meant to serve as “containment boards”. All three (so now just /pol/) included any and all graphic, visceral content that’s not illegal. Imagine the worst, most visceral death you can visualize and that’s often on there as a gif or image (and surely video, but I don’t click into those threads). Eventually you do get desensitized, as does anyone who uses boards like this, but it’s not good for your mind or your soul. And while it’s still a ‘nishable offense to advocate for anything criminal at all, there are definitely plenty of glowing threads and posters that go just shy of doing so here.

Even in the userbase you see this wide range. A lot of ‘ru namefаgs are pretty tame. The most famous is likely the Youtuber CobsonTALKS, who calls himself “not political” or whatever and doesn’t even use slurs, and only shares normified sharty culture, although I did see him say “fаg” once. At the opposite end, in /pol/ you have borderline hostile orbiters quite often.

Lucrative Culture

Art, Artists, Memetic Power and Thieves

Let’s start with the good, more positive aspects of this. The main question you may have by this point is likely something like this:

What gave Soyjak Party so much memetic power and influence?

I believe I have the answer to this.

The force that pushes (natural) revolutionary cultural and political change is and always has been young, transgressive, often White men. This applies to both political upheaval (revolutions, vigilantism, organization) and cultural upheaval (the 1960s U.S. Cultural Revolution, all fashion, slang, vidya, literature, etc). In the modern era, this cultural development now occurs almost solely in or through the internet.

Soyjak Party was, for a period, a website almost entirely populated by what I described above. It’s also of the few that also had the trait of being populated by very reactionary (i.e. the modern transgressive) individuals, and many at least casually artistically inclined.

The environment was perfect. As I described earlier, the internet was at its peak of censorship. COVID freaks were all around. Transgenderism - the most hideous and dystopic mainstream cult - had become a state-mandated religion, as did the rest of the ills of the mind associated with wokeness. Only on Soyjak Party could you truthfully describe and ridicule the horrible state of the world. And therefore, only on Soyjak Party could a way to speak in code to hide from those authorities be developed, a counterculture to resist this oppressive hellscape be born, and therefore, the most culturally potent material of the times to be created.

Artists

Many people have been attracted for the artistic element. That may sound a bit goofy at first, but I don’t just mean literal drawn art; the irreverent culture and societally nonconformant style of comedy is art, and the sense of community and collaborative element to it all is a form of art, and only here could you meet with and work with chuddy and irreverent artists like this. I’d like to shout out a few particularly talented soyteens here.

First, and by far my favorite person that I’ve found in the Soysphere, is Hans Amsler (his very awesome website linked here). There are a single-digit number of things that I can look up online and have them immediately and notably improve my mood, regardless of circumstance. One of them is Hans Amsler’s Xitter (and other) accounts. He’s extremely talented, extremely funny, and in my opinion, represents everything good about Soyjak Party and the Soysphere. I’m shilling him so much because he deserves more recognition and I absolutely love his work. He may be the funniest German.

There is also Rot, who makes very impressive and stylized Youtube animations, and I might as well mention CobsonTALKS again, who’s a bit controversial as he’s not (openly) a chud and creates normified Soysphere content, but he’s quite talented. I personally like him just because of his collaborative animation project, Tales From the Bottle of Soy. There is the very, very underrated history Youtuber Kino History, who makes the most impressive animations (for lack of views) that I’ve seen on YT. There is the animator/Youtuber MrAsianPie, who notably has a podcast on his secondary channel that’s featured the majority of “Chudtube”. There are many, many more, and most artists have no (connected) public presence, even very talented ‘teens.

Syndromejak

This is not misplaced. It’s supposed to be here. On November 2025, which is as I write this, 10 months ago, a soyteen on the ‘ru posted Syndromejak. The second comment on it, I believe the day it was posted, says

“finally a nuvariant that isn’t forced brimstone”

Two weeks later, the comments are quite different, almost all of them extremely negative. The first in that line is:

“My real life friend who knows nothing about the sharty, let alone the 'ru knows this variant.”

Syndromejak is (at the time of writing this) the last major nuvariant, and is the first variant to go extremely viral only outside of the Soysphere. He also has the - by far - shortest known time between creation and offsiter appropriation, only a couple weeks. He represents another side of what’s wrong with the modern sharty: there are many self-interested offsiters now aware of the party and what it’s produced, who constantly monitor the Soysphere to appropriate new gems as to get their lucrative viral reels/shorts/posts, or to sell plushies, or to find some other way to grift a couple pennies off it.

Maybe you don’t understand why that’s such an important thing. Why does it matter whether offsiters are using ‘jaks or Soyspeak? Soyteens could always just ignore them! Here’s why:

The majority of the human population (especially the third world) is comprised of unfunny, low-IQ, sovless cattle. Sorry to break it to you. They are great at ruining anything funny or good. Even if you just want to ignore them, they will create a semi-permanent association between what’s funny and good with things that are unfunny and annoying.

But back to the topic of grifters: here’s another example. A soyteen began working on a sharty Plants vs. Zombies mod about a week ago (the fifth one made on/by the ‘arty, there’s a lot for this game for some reason). Two days after posting a gameplay clip, one only seen by maybe a hundred people at most (one of them being myself), do you know where it ended up? All over Xitter meme/clip farms, and likely other platforms as well.

But lets talk about grifters on Instagram and Tiktok for a moment. They’ve gone quite a bit further than just reuploading whatever they can find. For example, there are now multiple website set up just to sell (unofficial) sharty merch, shilled all across those two platforms, and likely more.

There are even slop reuploader accounts on Bilibili (Chinese YT) and Xiaohongshu (Chinese Reels?), supposedly, although I’m not very good at searching through those to check. Here’s the best I can do:

Splinters and Orbiters

Swedish Win / The Swinny

By far the most high-quality splinter, it’s in many ways superior (but many ways inferior) to the sharty. It was created after DOLL (briefly) banned raids. Often ridiculed for being rulecucked, it doesn’t allow (explicit) gore, any (non-relevant or explicit) sexual material, or anything on the “coal list”, a vague list of coaly stuff that’s honestly quite well done, so it has none of the “bait” issues the sharty does. That does mean that it suffers from boringness (mostly due to PPH doebeit) and anyone who pushes the mods’ buttons, who are quite leaky, gets banned. The imageboard software is currently not as high-quality as that of the sharty and still in development.

Currently poised to take over the role of the sharty in the event of its death, this is where most soyteens swedes go when the sharty goes down, and it maintains a small but dedicated and growing userbase. It’s run by a skeleton crew that’s I believe all depends on one man, Carl XVI having to be the owner, head admin, sysadmin, and moral foundation all at once. It even has its own ‘ki (not anymore) and soon its own ‘ru. If the sharty dies, it’s possible the Swinny could save what’s left of ‘jakking culture, but it all hinges on those few key jannies alone.

10+ Other Splinters

There are a lot of splinters. Most are dead or dying or extremely degenerate and divorced from sharty culture, but some are good. The only other one I’ll comment about, as it’s the most infamous, is the Jarty. It was the second-largest splinter for a short period, but the moderation was infrequent and poor, and MPA did not exist at that point, so it was frequently spammed with antimatter and eventually only occupied by degenerates, especially in the later half of its existence. This is where the bogeyman of the “jartycuck” comes from, although they never really existed as a coherent group and were moreso just a fun strawman punching bag to make fun of. The actual, true enemy and antithesis to the soyteen, the foodist, I talk about in the next major section.

These aren’t quite “splinters”, but they certainly aren’t orbiters either, and I’d consider them part of the Soysphere. The Larty (larty [dot] party) is a libertarian imageboard created by the right-wing soyteen Youtuber TaxedBrass, and it consists almost solely of libertarian soyteens. SWAbooru is a booru created for right-wing ifunniers after they were purged from the website, and their userbase has a lot of overlap with the Soysphere.

Xitter, Instagram, and Tiktok Orbiters

Firstly, the Xitter diaspora and orbiters. The diaspora here is the least bad of them all. There’s a lot of overlap between stereotypical sharty users and those that engage with the Xitter diaspora. They’re still culturally and demographically close enough. It even has some high-quality soyteen capital that have left due to the sharty’s declining state. However, they’re one of the main leaks of sharty culture to offsiters, a recent example being their excessive gigaquoting causing crypto scammers to discover and ruin AI gigas. A lot of the diaspora on the platform does try to combat this, especially when apolitical/leftist offsiters begin trying to appropriate some aspect of sharty culture.

However, there are many right-wing orbiters who likely aren’t even aware of what they’re orbiting, and use (typically butchered) soy culture quite often. A few coaly examples of these are the “Nothing Ever Happens” memes, “Billions Must (X)”, and quite sadly, “Gem Alarm/Coal Alarm”.

The Instagram diaspora is a lot more normified, censored, and culturally distant, but it’s at least a little bit chuddy in some places and some comment sections. Here it becomes harder to separate the diaspora and orbiters.

The Tiktok orbiters are the worst.

There isn’t even a real “diaspora” either. They bring extremely censored and watered down sharty culture to the low-IQ and third-world masses, and frequently reupload high-effort ‘tosses to receive millions of likes and views and the most insufferable comment sections. A lot of grooming likely happens here as well.

Pedophiles and Terrorists

Joshua Goldberg / MoonMetropolis

There is only one person on Substack who’s written extensively about Soyjak Party: Joshua Goldberg, also known as MoonMetropolis, and he is likely the most vocal online critic of Soyjak Party. You may recognize his account if you engage with “Chudstack”, the most right-wing shitposting/discourse clique on here (although he’s not even right-wing, the algorithm just does that). I’ll preface this by saying I have nothing against Josh personally, and I don’t mean to write anything mean about him; it’s just a bit unavoidable, as you’ll understand in a second.

Josh is mildly internet famous. He even has his own Wikipedia article. In fact, he might be the most famous internet troll of all time. This is because in 2015, he “accidently” caused a terrorist attack on the 15th anniversary of 9/11 by goading radicalized Muslims into attempting a mass [CENSORED], which (among other things) resulted in him being sentenced to a decade in prison and a lifetime of supervised release. How could someone “accidently” do this? Quoting from his Wikipedia page:

(Edit: I actually can’t quote or screenshot from the section about the Islamist persona. I tried multiple times. Presumably something there is setting off Substack’s filters. Feel free to read it yourself on his Wikipedia page, there’s plenty more than what I describe below).

These pseudonyms included Islamist personas, feminist personas, white nationalist personas, Israeli personas, and various others, and he created a few famous viral hoaxes and artificial internet discourse through these sockpuppet personas, all before he went to prison of course.

He served his time, owns up to what he did, even if he does try to downplay his responsibility for much of it, writes fairly honestly about what kind of person he is and why he did those things, and still comments about the current discourse like he used to, just now under his own name. I think that’s deserving of a bit of respect, even if what he did back then was beyond retarded and quite evil. He’s still extremely chronically online, obsessive, and still just as much of an Enlightened Centrist as he was then. But more importantly, he now uses his in-depth knowledge on these niche trolling communities and his connections to hunt down pedophile groups and get them arrested, which is what he primarily writes about nowadays.

His relation to Soyjak Party is known to have begun in late 2024, when he did a Q&A there for some reason. The raids, extremely free-speech, transgressive culture, yet still vehemently anti-gooner attitude of the website is most likely what attracted him, although it is strange he used the party as a non-RWer and at his extremely old age, as he’s a whopping 31 years old (one of the oldest known namefаgs) and even a millennial. He eventually ended up becoming, as he says, “staff”, but what that really means is he was just a low-level janny, but was most active on the Schlog (a crappy sharty forum) that he eventually became admin of before it shut down.

As you might expect based off his personality, he became obsessed with conflicts with other splinters and namefаgs, ultimately leading to him being demoted after no longer being fit to serve as a janny, then demoted from the ‘ki after edit warring, and he was eventually banned from the entire Soysphere after becoming too obsessed with SNCA and infighting and tried to impersonate people with sockpuppets on other platforms to smear them. Feel free to read the ‘ki article, but like all internet conflicts it’s SNCA6.

He obviously has a massive chip on his shoulder about it, and I’m certain he knows some of the ridiculous accusations are obviously false. In his very frequent posts and articles about Soyjak Party, here are his most moderately significant accusations, both true and false:

I doubt there has been more than a single-digit number of users 11 or younger on the sharty. Probably only a dozen twelve year olds have used the sharty. There have been quite a few confirmed cases of 13 year olds using the sharty. There have been many 14 year olds who’ve used the sharty. A lot of 15 year olds likely do. But it’s very obviously stupid and ridiculous. In fact, this is known because right before the Cacacaust, there were a series of “anonymous” polls pinned to /soy/ that then IP banned everyone under 18 a few days later for their respective number of years, giving us a rough idea of the demographics there. But it’s just an obviously absurd range regardless.

You can look at the catalog to see what raids are being done. In fact, it’s ‘chived almost daily, so you can see what raids have been done for years! And do you know what raids are not in any of those? Anything he mentioned above. Do you know what there are thousands of threads targeting, though? Troons, pedos, troonslop, or just fun stuff like websites or streamers with bad security. Roblox raids (or even discussion) have been banned for quite a while since that platform is full of kids.
>The Sharty is also known for carrying out insane levels of datamining of everyone who uses the site, including not just browser and hardwire fingerprinting, but even looking at users’ local networks (e.g. users’ printers) to get information about its users. The site also puts a WASM trojan on its users devices and is widely believed to turn its users’ devices into botnets.
The first half of this is true. Quote added extreme datamining, as I said earlier. The latter claim is probably false. I’ve seen it claimed before, but if it was true, at least some evidence of this supposed trojan would exist somewhere. Edit: what he’s referring to is just part of the datamining tech. That seems to be all.

“9a0c” was a staff member banned for being an extreme degenerate, like extremely bad. He was obsessed with ponies. He made a lot of other claims that Quote went through and debunked or confirmed depending on each’s truthfulness. But he’s the least trustworthy or unbiased source you could possibly come up with, even if a lot of what he said was true and even if Quote isn’t fully trustworthy himself. However, it’s true that gore and spam have been weaponized by sharty staff before, and this is the kind of thing Kuz would probably do.

There are a lot of other claims, but they’re all much more over the top than these and even schizobabble at times. I went as far as to make a thread on the Swinny during the August Soypocalypse (the sharty shut down for a week) and went through each accusation individually with Swedes, who are absolultely not favorable to the sharty mind you, to make sure I wasn’t misinformed. Many are outright easily and undeniably disproven, especially the more extreme ones I excluded/censored from this article. Does he actually believe these things? It’s hard to tell. Even as late as August 2026, he still unironically believes and shares embarrassingly stupid conspiracies about Trump and Epstein cannibalizing dozens of kids and that kind of thing, so that should hopefully help explain the sensationalist nature of it all. And if he really did believe these things, and that they really were happening “for years”, that wouldn’t make much sense with how he was begging to be unbanned as little as 11 months ago. The point: if you see his Substack account show up in your recommendations, take everything he says with a big grain of salt.

Soy ‘cords

Discord is famously a groomer hellhole, far more than any other platform. Not just in the Soysphere, but actually everywhere on that platform. It’s really bad. If you used der ‘cord during COVID and joined any public ‘cords, I’m sure you’re aware of this. Any ‘cord with anything more than a couple dozen users is almost guaranteed to have that happen to someone, somewhere, eventually, and every major ‘cord for any kind of project has probably had this happen at least once at some point. This of course then started happening with soy ‘cords, until eventually they were all shut down and became an insta-bannable offense.

Foodists and Others

This is likely the single-most important thing I’ll be talking about in this article. There have been a number of shooters who have mentioned Soyjak Party in their manifestos. All of them have come from this group and its many ‘cords, which are closely tied to and integrated with other similar terrorist groups such as 764, O9A and UTTP. Remember how I said before that jartycucks were really just a joke punching bag, and not the actual true nemesis of the sharty? That’s because these people are.

They originated from what started out as “trolling” groups in places like Telegram. Over the course of a couple years, this become more and more extreme, especially as influence from these other organizations began to take hold, and they became what can best be described as a nihilist satanic cult centered around creating and sharing the most depraved content possible, where whoever creates (or makes others create) the most depraved content is “rewarded” with higher status.

The reason for them targeting the sharty (and Kiwifarms for the same reason) is likely a few different things. They’ve been targeted in raids, where soyteens have successfully gotten some of them arrested or their websites/’cords taken down. Why they were targeted in raids is because they tried (and continue to try) to infiltrate the Soysphere, given young, lonely, transgressive, and spergy/autistic men are their primary grooming targets, but they’ve been quickly found out and have since tried many different things to destroy the party. Some have had connections to Kuz. They frequently target anti-pedo individuals and groups, especially those who have targeted them, and try to create elaborate setups/falseflags with things like fake DMs or by hacking accounts to then post illegal content with. Every shooter that’s mentioned the party, except for one that hardly anyone outside the Soysphere knows about (because he failed) comes from this group and specifically calls out the party as a way of false-flagging.

The most famous of these is the Antioch shooter, who is even mentioned on the Wikipedia page for “Soyjak”, along with every news article about the sharty, because journalists are incompetent and incapable of understanding such a concept as false-flagging, not to mention are incapable of doing the (frankly not difficult) research to see that he was groomed by these ‘cords and publicly bragged about it, just like all the others. Remember how I mentioned some basic grammatical rules of Soyspeak in the beginning? In said manifesto, he got the sharty’s name wrong - that is, he didn’t put “the” before “sharty” like everyone always does, probably the most basic and intuitive rule that takes maybe an hour to internalize. Not that it matters compared to the actual evidence, but it shows just how little connection he really did have.

And about the single shooter who really did use the party; Palmeter didn’t mentioned the ‘arty in his manifesto, he just had used it at some point and mentioned it in social media. This was around ~2023 and it was immediately forgotten, and journalists didn’t even realize or find out (because they’re retarded). Considering the sheer rate of extremely antisocial and mentally ill people who have used the sharty, only having one is not that bad. There have been shooters for every social media platform, including 4chan, Xitter, Instagram, Tiktok, you get it.

Because of these bad actors, the Soysphere has had what I’d describe as a technological arms race to improve the software, tools, and capabilities of jannies as these groups have become more and more of a problem, each and every individual file now being manually scanned for things such as embedded/steganographized content7. The sharty may be the single-most advanced imageboard as a result of this.

Because two years of bans were lifted, the wordfilter was removed, gore was unbanned, and the jannies were all sacked and replaced by a completely fresh team (although that part is good), the bad actors I’ve mentioned above are all over the website and likely behind much of the brim & vantablack spam. It’s bad, but the new Admin is purging them as fast as he can.

The End?

I’ve mentioned throughout this that the sharty has been in decline. It’s honestly quite bad though, and I likely only understated it. Nearly all of the ancient gemsmiths have left. There hasn’t been a genre-defining nuvariant since 2025. The ‘ru is beyond hell and hardly resembles sharty culture at all anymore. The ‘log is hell. It’s in a death spiral where the low quality of the imageboard drives good soyteens to leave, leading to the quality to decrease, so even more degenerate ‘corders arrive and make up a higher percentage of the userbase, which drives more good soyteens to leave, you get it.

The administration almost certainly being infiltrated - if not exclusively populated - by degenerates is the real problem, and it seems to confirm the party may never go back to how it was before. Even for all the outside problems that have lead to this, the true culprit of all of the modern sharty’s problems is internal. In short:
A failure to gatekeep and purity spiral has lead to where the Soysphere is now.

Last-minute update: a lot of things are being released as the Soysphere is, as I write this, completely falling apart. It’s been confirmed that the head admin and dev of the ‘ru, Mustard, is also a degenerate, albeit not on the level of 9a0c. Quote has not been heard from by anyone in weeks. In two weeks from the moment I’m writing this, the server payments for the ‘ki and ‘ru end; if Quote’s not able to be reached by then, they’re gone. Every IP of every poster to have not used a VPN in an ID-enabled thread has been leaked. The sharty and the ‘ki were both (briefly) hacked.

It really was a miracle that the sharty was saved from ending up in the hands of a Kuzist back in 2023. Yet even after that and the anti-Kuzist purges, it just wasn’t enough, and poor choices combined with the slow infiltration by degenerates has brought us to the nightmare that is the Quote Administration. Half the Soysphere is now controlled by what’s best described as a hostile cabal of gooners and freaks trying to reshape the ‘sphere for their purposes. Is it salvageable? Maybe. If Quote decided to sell it to the right person, I suppose things could go back to, or even surpass the golden age. But it’s not very likely, and the longer this takes the less likely it’d be to succeed.

Even with this being the case, the influence of Soyjak Party can still be seen everywhere. Every other week a major “new” meme in the online right-wing zeitgeist appears, much of the time directly traceable to the party, often created years ago. But as time passes, these “new” memes have increasingly relied on older sharty products as the modern gem production stagnates, as does sharty culture itself. The well will run dry eventually.

There is some hope. There’s the Swinny, which has only improved over time, and is currently developing an in-house booru. There is SECApedia SECApedia just got nuked, it’s over and SNCApedia, two soyteen-made alternatives to the ‘ki. There’s the not-completely-horrible Xitter diaspora.

And, perhaps most importantly, 75% of the userbase (that’s still around) is the same. For all the talk about its degeneration, that’s really nothing more than the administration and a loud and destructive minority (akin to the indulged African-American underclass, but with no suburbs here for soyteens to escape to). That there are still one or more raids on degenerate/leftist organizations and individuals every day proves this. In other words, a miracle Admin could still purge the rot. But that’s about it, and things look bleak.

Musings and Conclusions

Why use the sharty?
I believe these are the main reasons people use the sharty.

1. It’s a reactionary space that’s youthful, fun, (previously) novel, and not too (comparatively) risky opsec-wise to engage with. That combination of traits does not exist anywhere else.

2. It is, or was, upstream.

3. It is, or was, a place for transgressive and right-wing artists or art consumers to meet, collaborate, or share with a receptive audience.

4. Raids. There are few places on the internet where you can do these, very few that are right-oriented, and even fewer that are at all active. In addition, there’s plenty of material for nusois who don’t know where to start, and a wide range in the legality and scale and purpose to these raids. It’s one of the only ways an impotent, vengeful, chuddy young man can at least do something of value in the political arena. Of course, that’s not the main purpose of raids, and many aren’t political at all and often choose purely fun targets, but that’s a major motivating factor for many.

5. The soymmunity, but that may be more of a bad than good thing nowadays.

Is it good or bad for someone to use the sharty?

It depends. Like all things, too much and it’s an unhealthy addiction. Someone easily impressionable should absolutely not use the website. And it all depends on what you’re using it for and what you engage with. And of course, it’s a hotbed of the extreme, so almost certainly fedded out, especially after Antioch. Just don’t be stupid, and if you do venture there, have some decent opsec.

But why would troons and degenerates come to the sharty?

Firstly, when it comes to the administration, it’s extremely hard to find normal people willing to spend all day moderating or working on an imageboard - for free. Then try to find some who are right-wing and the pool grows even smaller. This means that, no matter how much you try to vet them, you will get people who are much worse than first realized in some way or another. Then put a retard like Froot in charge of vetting and see how bad things can get.

When it comes to why degen users and coal/baitposters showed up, that’s a bit harder. Some clearly like the humiliation. Once only a few showed up, that made it easy for others to feel at least somewhat “invited”. Janitorial incompetence, and from all the many ‘cord leaks, purposeful invitations towards degeneracy are also a cause of this. And you honestly don’t even need ‘cord leaks to prove that part, there’s isn’t really a logical argument for why sexual content should suddenly be allowed on a soyjak booru.

That’s how what was the chuddiest, and briefly most influential website on the internet has been reduced to what it is now.

Why Write This?

(These couple paragraphs are directed towards soyteens, hyperlinked in the intro for them)

As I’ve alluded to throughout the article, the Soysphere is in a particularly poor state, worse than it has been in years. So why not write this? Am I really going to dilute what little sharty culture is currently in production by letting my right-wing audience become aware of where these incomprehensible woahjacks and slang come from, who made them and who they belong to? A single viral ‘tok edit does more damage than this article ever possibly could.

And as you may or may not have been able to tell, part of my goal with this article was to emphasize the chuddy and traditional elements of sharty culture with everything I shared; if anything is “stolen” by offsiters as a result of this article, the gemmy elements will very likely be intact or even more strongly emphasized, and any nusois from this will likely be good immigrants. A lot of you forget that the real problem with offsiters is them removing the chuddiness or fun from sharty culture; just look at how good troonjak still is, even with Xitter right-wingers using him for so long and so often. A world where chudjak went viral without losing his original meaning or personality could’ve be kino.

And being honest, what I’ve discussed in the article in regards to sharty culture is already mainstream now, as is awareness of the party. It’s no longer possible to make a raid thread without obsessed troon snitches immediately alerting the target(s). I deliberately left out anything I haven’t seen escape the Soysphere, with only a few intentional exceptions (such as HTSM and Soytan). It’s unlikely to be our “secret club” ever again.

The other reason I wrote this article is that there exists no mainstream information about Soyjak Party that isn’t horribly biased and written by obvious clowns, riddled with misinformation and disinformation and malinformation and all sorts of horrible unapproved-by-Fauci lies. But being serious, there are very important things nobody had competently written about (e.g. foodists). It’s extremely bad that the blame for something as horrible as shooter radicalization is put on the ‘arty rather than actual terrorist groups they come from. And the party really was one of, if not the most influential community on internet culture for half a decade, especially per capita given there never really were that many soyteens. The only reason no good article has been written about it is because we live in a time of unprecedented journalistic incompetence and clownery.

In brief:
I want to write a good, comprehensive article about this important subject, and it’s better that a chud does this before a lib (if they’d even be capable - I doubt it).

I want to write this in such a way that it doesn’t lead to further appropriation of the culture and fulfill’s soyteen’s desires for that level of quality in offsite discussion - I went as far as to consult five other soyteens before publishing.

I want to make clear to offsiters where these popular memes and cultural products come from, but do this in such a way that it hardly describes anything they are unlikely to have seen before (as an extension of what I just mentioned before).

I want to make a post-mortem since the likelihood of recovery is very low.

This list will not be of movies that are just “not left-wing”, as the few movie lists from RWers have done before; instead, it will list family movies that are explicitly (like most Christian films) or implicitly (most of the best films) right-wing, and therefore present a positive message for you and your family, and besides that, are all good films!

If you’d like a… decent, I guess, extra resource to quickly check for red flags from new movies or shows, there’s the website worthitorwoke.com. In my opinion, the creator of the website has absolutely had it get to his head and tried to paywall way too much while introducing too much bloat, but it’s something. Also part of the reason why I’m writing this list, as it’s quite emblematic of the conservative mindset; setting the goalpost to “not woke”, to call something “based” for simply not including leftism, as opposed to elevating works that contain, whether intended or not, the virtues and truths of the right.

Each entry below will briefly describe the genre, premise, and what I consider right-wing about the movie, what positive concept you and your kids should take away from it. Will also put a completely subjective ranking from myself on each.

Very roughly ordered from top to bottom, from the best, most right-wing, and most entertaining for all ages, to decent, somewhat right-wing, and more age-specific. You’ll get what I mean once you read it.

At the very bottom are two more sections, of good but not right-wing movies, and a section on where and how to watch everything below.

The Incredibles

An animated superhero film from Pixar, although aesthetically much closer to spy films like James Bond. One of the most right-wing films of all time.

The golden-age of superheroes has passed, and due to a media circus sparking fear and resentment in the populace, society has outlawed heroism. That, combined with the main villain despising heroes for being born special, with his stated goal quite literally being equality (through killing all heroes), along with the very pro-family messaging of the film, makes this probably the second-most right-wing kids movie ever.

One of the few family films that’s truly entertaining for all ages, although young kids may get a little scared at times. Possibly Pixar’s best film. Just don’t watch the sequel.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

A stop-motion, gothic Halloween film by Tim Burton. Luckily for me, I’ve already gotten a review written ahead of time!

May want to wait until your kids are a little older for this one, 5 or 6, as it has pretty spooky imagery for a kids film. It’s otherwise kino.

The Angry Birds Movie

Hear me out on this one.

An animated comedy by the slop merchants at Sony Pictures. There’s something very… special, I suppose you could say, about this movie; it was written by undercover chuds. You may have noticed that I referred to The Incredibles as the second-most right-wing kids movie of all time. That’s because first place goes to Angry Birds.

There was a very impressive analysis of the movie not long after it came out, which you can read here. As a very, very brief TLDR:

The birds on Bird Island have become hedonistic and lost the ability to fly after generations of decadence. Our protagonist, Red, is a traditionalist chud that everyone hates. Migrant pigs show up, unconditionally accepted by everyone except Red. Red convinces two others to go with him to try and find the Great Eagle, the legendary hero said to have saved Bird Island long ago, but find him apathetic and fattened, nothing like he was before. The pigs then steal all the eggs, and even indiscriminately blow up buildings for no reason other than fun, causing Bird Island to fall into despair. Red realizes that they have to be responsible for themselves and teaches the birds to hate, rallying them to attack the pigs and save the eggs. Total Pig Death then ensues. The lesson? It’s okay to be angry.

If you couldn’t tell, the movie is an allegory for the 2015 European Refugee Crisis. None of that was an exaggeration; in fact, I may have understated it. I’d say the biggest worry showing this to your kids isn’t them emulating the Shrek-esque crude humor, but that it might be too right-wing. Redpilling your kids into being antisocial chuds probably isn’t your goal as a parent. And, of course, a movie with one traditionalist rebelling against degeneracy means there will be degeneracy shown, even if in a sanitized way and in a negative light. Not a particularly great movie in other respects, a few good jokes here and there I suppose.

The Lord of the Rings

I have something to admit; I’ve never seen the Lord of the Rings movies. I’ve only ever read the books. That being said, I’ve heard more than enough about them to know exactly what to write.

An epic fantasy adventure trilogy based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s brilliant book series. Peter Jackson’s magnum opus. Friendship, courage, heroism, all tied together by Tolkien’s faith. Your youngest might not be able to follow along very well, and some scenes may be a bit scary, but other than that, it’s an incredible series, especially for young boys.

The Lion King

Many Disney “classics” are actually quite bad, something I don’t see talked about enough. Disney movies like The Little Mermaid, for example, have very leftist messaging, in that case the core message being “tradition is bad, ignore your stupid/ignorant elders and follow your emotions!” The Lion King, however, stands out among them all as probably the most right-wing of “modern” Disney.

Difficult to summarize the movie without simply spoiling nearly the whole thing… so I’ll just spoil it all. The animal kingdom consists of a natural hierarchy, at the top being lions, themselves lead by a lineage of kings dating back millennia. Simba, the son of King Mufasa, is destined to succeed his father at the throne, as he did his father before him, and his father before him, and so on. However, Mufasa’s envious brother Scar wishes for the throne, and tries to kill Mufasa and Simba to seize power for himself. However, Simba survives, and years later finally returns to find the “Pride Lands” in chaos and decay as Scar had undone the natural order of things, and he fulfills his divine mandate upon killing Scar to become king.

You know it’s good when libs frequently cry about it being “fascist”; just look at the results when I decided to check if anyone had done an analysis of the right-wing themes of the movie (and didn’t even ask for the left-wing perspective):

The Prince of Egypt

An animated musical drama by Dreamworks Studios. Probably the most famous Christian (and I suppose also Jewish) family film, and for good reason - it’s a truly great movie. I hadn’t seen it in quite a few years, yet quite a few moments were still fresh in my mind.

It’s an adaptation of the Book of Exodus. The enslaved Hebrews of Egypt pray for salvation, the cruel Pharaoh oppresses them, and Moses is led by God as a prophet to save the Hebrew people.

While it’s toned down for younger audiences, there’s still the darkness and scariness that comes with the contents of the Book of Exodus - plagues, deaths, slaves and whipping, you get it.

Ghostbusters

A supernatural comedy film, although I’m sure any adult American who experienced the 80s already knows this movie. It’s aged well, as even during its creation it was an unashamedly right-wing movie, but it’s only gotten more so over time.

After being ridiculed by academia following a paranormal experience, a few guys get together and form the Ghostbusters, a paranormal extermination service. As paranormal activity grows, they become more and more famous and successful, but the media just clowns on them while they begin getting investigated by the inept government trying to regulate them out of existence. They also try seducing ladies during their adventures. We then find out the cause of all the paranormal activity is a collectivist, satanic trans/agender demon, which they destroy and send back to hell.

There’s some adult humor, but it’s subtle enough that your kids probably won’t pick up on it. I watched it dozens of times as a kid, and never picked up on any of the adult jokes - or if I did, I don’t remember. The characters are meant to be everyman, so they all act a bit crude, but of course as appropriate for kids. A little scary, although not that much, I’d say it’s appropriate for everyone past a couple years old.

Edit: I’ll tack on Ghostbusters II as well. It’s not as good as the first movie in nearly all respects, but it’s not bad. And, great for us, still right-wing! Authority is incompetent, people are irrational. However, it leans a bit more towards traditional conservativism than the libertarian bent of the first film; it’s more family-friendly, the main theme is about positivity/goodness triumphing over negativity/evil, and there’s one of those “unprepared father stepping up” plotlines that was so common at the time. In 2015, a journo trying to hype up the nightmare that was Ghostbusters 2016 also argued that the evil ghosts were symbolic of immigrants (lol):

Fantasia

A 1940 musical anthology film by Walt Disney. It’s a quite unique, beautiful movie; it contains multiple short films timed with the orchestral music, the only dialogue coming from the narrator (and one appearance of Mickey Mouse) between the shorts. The words of three critics at the time of its release:

"caviar to the general, ambrosia and nectar for the intelligentsia … courageous beyond belief"

"dream of a symphony concert … enormously varied concert of pictorial ideas, of abstract music by acknowledged composers … and, for the vast majority, new and wonderful sound effects"

"a successful experiment to lift the relationship from the plane of popular, mass entertainment to the higher strata of appeal to lovers of classical music."

The right-wing elements are fairly small. We see traditional gender roles of partners in dance, divine punishment and salvation of one who seeks to subvert hierarchy, and the - somehow - now right-wing concept of “traditional beauty standards” presented as good and normal. While one sequence, the swirling cosmos creating earth, and the slow evolution of life, can be read as anti-Christian, the final sequence, of the devil summoning evil spirits, but being driven back by the sound of a church bell and the singing of Ave Maria, I’d argue balances it out. There’s also some scary scenes.

Home Alone

A 1990 Christmas Comedy film. This is actually the movie that motivated me to finally start this list; not many people are aware, despite it being fairly obvious, but it’s actually a Christian film. A post on Xitter from last December about this went semi-viral.

There are more right-wing elements than simply “openly Christian”, of course. Kevin McCallister’s vigilante actions to defend his home from incompetent crooks are portrayed as completely justified, and there’s a major emphasis on the importance of family and willingness of mothers to do whatever it takes to protect their children.

The only catch I can think of is that your kids might not pick up on Kevin’s regret later on and only focus on his fun, greedy indulgences in the first half of the movie, or the crude behavior of his siblings.

The Chronicles of Narnia

A 2005-2010 high fantasy film trilogy. Haven’t seen the movies or read the books. Supposedly the movies are pretty good, but not amazing adaptations. That’s generally the consensus of what I’ve heard.

From quickly reading a bit of the synopsis, the film trilogy is about four English siblings in the midst of WWII who find a wardrobe that, when entered, sends them to the land of Narnia.

It’s a very Christian series, although the film trilogy supposedly tried to downplay that. Not just the lame “be vaguely nice” kind of Christianity, either; enemies of Christ (the Lion) get brutally annihilated, as they should, which libs made sure to complain about:

If you can, choose to read the books instead. Every serious person I’ve seen weigh in says they’re better. If you can’t, or already have, then watching the movies works too. Score is a guess.

Robin Hood (1973)

A 1973 animated musical Disney film. Robin Hood is always either a quite libertarian concept or a quite leftist concept, either “steal from the rich to give to the poor”, or “steal from the government to give back to the people”. This incarnation is luckily the latter.

I watched this movie repeatedly as a child, so it didn’t take long upon rewatch for the whole plot to come back to me.

The tyrannical Prince John has come into power in King Richard’s absence, and begun taxing the peasants into poverty. Robin Hood and Little John have come together to fight against this, and many shenanigans unfold as they fight against Prince John’s army - and especially the Sheriff/taxman. They don’t have the Merry Men of the traditional tale, but Robin Hood, Little John, and the residents of Nottingham are still very merry, and there are a few songs and dances or whatever. At the end, King Richard returns from fighting in the Crusades, and returns to his rightful place as king.

It’s pro-small government, pro-monarchy, pro-individualism, pro-vigilantism, pro-romance, pro-marriage, pro-English, pro-fun having, all very based. As for criticisms of the movie - if I remember correctly, the plot is a bit weak, kind of all over the place in terms of pacing. They say “rob the rich to give to the poor” a few times, but only in regards to the corrupt government and taxes (which is said explicitly one time), so whatever. There is also a scene where they cross-dress into disguises, but it was meant to be goofy/funny, akin to old Loony Tunes bits, and it is!

The Lego Batman Movie (And More)

A 2017 animated superhero comedy film. In my opinion it’s quite underrated.

“Who always pays their taxes? NOT BATMAN!”

The plot is actually quite good, so I want to try and be light on the spoilers. Batman is, as he’s often portrayed, a loner who spends his time brooding and fighting crime. But after every villain is locked up, and being told by the police that he’s no longer needed, he becomes despondent, while also having to learn to care for the kid (Robin) he accidently just adopted.

There’s a huge family element to the film, but that’s obviously a barely right-wing concept. We also see the “heroism is no longer needed!” concept I just mentioned completely subverted later on, where the police admit that they do need his vigilantism and help.

From what I saw, the reason conservatives never jumped on the movie was because of a running joke in it about Robin having “two dads” when he failed to realize that Batman in the Batcave (right below Wayne Manor) was Bruce Wayne, along with Joker’s whole plotline of realizing that Batman being his adversary is what defines him. I found it funny, they just need to learn to take a joke. He’s also a bit of a manchild in it. Batman is an inherently right-wing, quite libertarian concept, which I’ve never seen even the wokest interpretations (like 2022’s The Batman) successfully subvert. I suppose you could say that means it falls under “accidently based”, and it doesn’t have anything right-wing that other incarnations of Batman do not, but it’s a very good movie.

Edit: I may as well just make this entry encompass all of the kid’s Batman adaptations. Until I think of a more competent way to put this in, I’ll just have it be here.
I’m not a fan of superhero stuff. Even as a kid I wasn’t. However, I was and still am a huge fan of Batman. The setting, the gothic atmosphere, the villains, the titular protagonist, it’s all incredibly captivating and practically necessitates good writing, and is one of the few (especially right-wing) franchises that can actually age with you.

Batman: The Animated Series is probably the best (and the most right-wing!) Batman cartoon. I did a bit of research, and the only not right-wing thing I could find is a one-off episode with the plot of a vigilante who intends to kill the villains instead of let them continually break out of Arkham Asylum, the subtext clearly being “See, Batman isn’t really reactionary, he arrests the villains!” In my opinion, that’s just a testament to how inherently right-wing the concept of Batman really is.

Anastasia

A 1997 animated historical fantasy musical film. Haven’t watched this myself yet.

Anastasia, the young granddaughter of the Empress of Russia, is the only one besides of the royal family besides the Empress herself to survive the Russian Revolution, but gets amnesia and loses her memory while escaping. A decade later, through some shenanigans, it’s found out that she’s still alive, and she tries to escape the Soviet Union to reunite with her grandmother, all while being pursued by Rasputin, who sold his soul to the devil for powers.

Haven’t seen it, so can’t really argue for right-wing themes, only the anti-leftist themes self-evident in the plot. Communists are bad, satanic deals are bad, the royal family is good/morally neutral, seems pretty based. Score is a guess.

Cinderella (1950)

A 1950 animated musical fantasy film from Disney.

It’s an adaptation of the European fairytale. I tried to write a synopsis twice, but I couldn’t get it short enough, so this is half written (and shortened) by AI.

Cinderella is a kind young woman mistreated by her wicked stepmother and vain stepsisters after her father’s death. Forced into servitude, she keeps hope alive with animal friends and the memory of her mother; through angelic intervention, she’s able to attend the royal ball of the bachelor prince with a transformed gown, glass slippers, and a carriage. She captivates the prince, but must flee at midnight when the magic ends, leaving behind one glass slipper. The prince searches the kingdom for the slipper’s owner; despite the stepfamily’s attempts to hide her, the shoe fits Cinderella. Her true identity is revealed, the stepmother’s plan fails, and Cinderella marries the prince, leaving her life of abuse to become a princess.

A commenter who recommended that I add the movie (this entry was added in Revision 1) had this to say about it, which I thought was a very nice description of its right-wing elements:

Without the protection of her father, Cinderella is oppressed by unrelated female usurpers. Despite her tribulations she stays virtuous, kind, and hard-working. Because of her goodness and patience she is rewarded with the opportunity to go to the ball, with the help of the animals she has treated well all along. She unwittingly wins the love of the prince- and it’s not stated explicitly, but to me it seems that the prince is able to instantly recognize her innate nobility, which despite the step-family’s abuse could never be truly quashed. She represents more or less the epitome of traditional feminine virtue.

I can’t really think of any downsides or potential negatives to the movie. It’s good.

Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island

A 1998 mystery comedy horror kids film. A lot of Scooby Doo content has been made over the years, most of it just… fine. Usually nothing particularly memorable, high-quality or low-quality. When there is political messaging, it’s usually centre-left, “villains are motivated by greed, and superstition can always be solved by human reason!” However, as any Scooby Doo fan would tell you, this is by far the best Scooby Doo movie ever made, largely do to its subversion of that usual message.

The Mystery Inc. gang had gone their separate ways after becoming bored of always encountering supernatural hoaxes, but decided to reunite for a trip. They end up going to a secluded island in Louisiana after hearing rumors of a haunting, and discover a real, genuine, truly supernatural case, of an evil pagan deity, and also confederates… who end up being part of the good guys. Even for the 90s it’s impressive they got away with that.

For once, the villains are a genuinely supernatural threat, the servants of a pagan deity trying to attract tourists to sacrifice, and the Scooby gang discovers that there does exist a limit to what human reason can deal with. And, uh… that’s about it as far as political elements go, besides the funny confederate thing of course. Just a good movie.

The Land Before Time

A 1988 animated adventure drama film. During the age of dinosaurs, in a migration trying to escape a famine, a young dinosaur named Littlefoot is separated from his herd, and has to find his way to the “Great Valley” with friends he makes along the way. I’ve always thought this was an underappreciated movie; the endless, quite horrible sequels unfairly tarnished its legacy. Like with The Nightmare Before Christmas, I have a quite good review here that I believe puts into words what’s so good about it. Some excerpts:

At one point, Cera argues with Littlefoot about what way to go, and leads them down the “Easy Way”, which leads them to a volcanic shithole (Hell), while Littlefoot says to take the hard, but true way, which leads them to the Great Valley. Besides the Christian element, here’s what else is right-wing; different groups are fundamentally different, and while the core message is about friendship despite these differences, some (like Sharptooth) are evil and you cannot co-exist with.

Whatever you do, do NOT let your kids get the sequels. They’re all low-budget, generic, direct-to-video slop, with terrible writing and terrible music. Also leftist drivel, funnily enough. In the first sequel, the dinosaurs secretly raise a Sharpteeth egg, and it turns out they can actually be friends! In the third movie, there’s a drought, causing some dinosaurs to be selfish and try to hoard their own water, but by the end of the movie there’s a huge flood that destroys most of the food, and the dinosaurs learn to just heckin’ share and collectivize the food from then-on and split it equally! I’m not joking, in the Wikipedia reception for that one it talks about Marxist criticism of it due to the dinosaurs still having fundamental differences (aka not being leftist enough).

Overall, the first is a good film, and fairly based. The rest is beyond bad, stay away.

Veggietales

A Christian 3D animated children’s series. If this is your first time hearing of it, you probably think it looks like crap based off the poster above. I’ve admittedly only seen small excerpts of it, but from what I can tell (and have been told), where the show really shines is in its writing and passion. The story behind Veggietales is actually quite wholesome; two friends wanted to make a a show to teach children Christian moral lessons, and after one taught himself basic 3D modeling skills, they developed the concept of Veggietales, voicing the two protagonists Bob and Larry themselves while having friends and family voice the rest of the cast.

Each episode has the same premise; the anthropomorphic vegetables act out a story for the audience, often biblical, and it ends with teaching some kind of positive moral lesson. Luckily, because of the wit of the writers (the two friends & their wives), it’s not as boring as it might sound.

I thought this review was quite good.

This is obviously a show intended for younger children, as you can probably tell. Because of that, the bar is, frankly, quite low; it’s mildly entertaining instead of, as shows for youngsters often are, extremely insufferable/obnoxious, and should be judged by that metric.

The Santa Clause

A 1994 Christmas comedy movie. I’ve seen this movie before, I believe multiple times. I cannot remember a second of it.

Scott Calvin, a divorced father, is spending Christmas Eve with his son, when he hears a noise on the roof. He goes out to investigate, and accidently startles Santa Claus, causing Santa to trip and fall off the roof and die (Santa’s body instantly vanishes and just leaves the clothes), leaving the sleigh and reindeers on his roof. In the clothes he finds the Santa Clause, a card instructing the reader to wear Santa’s suit should anything unfortunate happen to him. His son convinces him to put on the suit, and he’s then taken to the North Pole and told a bunch of lore by elves, who give him 11 months (until next Thanksgiving) to prepare for becoming the new Santa, and he then has to balance trying to salvage his job and parental duty while also transforming into Santa, and all while his ex-wife starts to think he’s schizophrenic and possibly dangerous.

The entire basis of me calling the movie right-wing is literally just these three posts I saw:

Edit: I’d like to show an opposing point of view from a commenter, who described quite well some of the negatives of the movie:

The dad is incompetent, his mother seems justified in disliking him, and his son doesn’t enjoy spending time with him. It’s a divorced dad being drug through the mud over and over, and nearly losing his son. Sure, he pulls through in the end, but it’s mostly a horror story and degradation theater.

And that’s besides the disturbing premise that Santa can die just by falling off a roof.”

Supposedly the second movie is decent, and the third maybe good in a campy way. Television series is awful.

Groundhog Day

A 1993 fantasy romance comedy. For whatever reason, this movie came up again and again when trying to look up “conservative movies” lists; I’ll talk about that more after the synopsis.

Phil Connors is a selfish, arrogant weather reporter who looks down on the people around him. He’s assigned Groundhog Day duty and has to travel to Punxsutawney against his own wishes. Once there, he ends up stuck in a time loop where the day repeats over and over, where each time he wakes up in the inn all over again.

I’ve seen it quite a few times, and remember it too, but don’t remember anything especially conservative about it. And that’s because, as far as right-wing elements go, it’s basically just boomerconservative crap like Forrest Gump; “be vaguely virtuous or something and good things will happen! Small towns good! No matter how much vice you’ve indulged in, just repent and you’re fine!”, basically distilling what counts as “right-wing” to the most basic, unoffensive concepts, to what a liberal would consider acceptably right-wing. Besides my contempt over that, it’s otherwise a good movie.

The Jungle Book

A 1967 animated Disney musical adventure film. It’s one of my favorite Disney films. A lot of memorable, very fun characters, most of the songs are great, a… decent plot, not amazing, but good enough. Appropriate for all ages.

An abandoned baby boy was discovered in the jungle by Bagheera the panther, who saves him and brings him to a pack of wolves to raise him, who name the boy Mowgli. Ten years later, the murderous tiger Shere Khan has returned, who hates all humans and will stop at nothing to kill Mowgli. For the safety of the pack, Mowgli is kicked out, and Baghdeera is given the role of leading him to the nearest “Man Village”, and many hijinks occur as Mowgli gets separated from Baghdeera and encounters many animals and packs on the journey.

Only summarized the introduction, left out basically everything. For right-wing themes, for one, there’s the most obvious; that it’s a children’s movie based on the 1894 book of the same name, a very right-wing and pro-colonial work. While mostly taken out given it’s a children’s movie, small elements and concepts from that carried over. Despite being raised in the jungle, Mowgli is still human and belongs with other humans, and has to learn to accept that. Different animals and tribes are also inherently different, and besides with Mowgli, don’t seem to coexist.

National Treasure

A 2004 action-adventure heist film, in the same vein of adventurous fun as Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones. Have not seen it myself.

Our protagonist Benjamin Gates was told by his grandfather as a child about a legendary treasure passed on since ancient times by secret organizations, and tells him about a clue/riddle he’d heard about it. His libtard atheist father dismissed it as nonsense, but Ben believed. As an adult, he ends up tracking down the first bit of evidence from that clue, and it sets him on an insane journey to track down the treasure and not get obliterated by assassins or whatever.

The plot is supposedly mediocre, but carried by its very fun concept and execution (similar to Pirates of the Caribbean), and for us, its RW themes.

From what I’ve read, I’d say the biggest reason you might not want to show this to your kids is that it might make them conspiracy-brained. Sequels are beyond horrible; I believe the reboot stars - in-universe - a “latinx” immigrant. I’m serious. Score is a guess.

The Dark Knight Trilogy

A 2005-2012 Superhero movie trilogy meant for teens/preteens. I watched them all years ago. Here’s my thoughts on what I remember each:

Batman Begins I almost exclusively remember the aesthetics of. Gotham had a truly oppressive, dark, gritty atmosphere, which was not present in the sequels. Now, that’s actually intentional, as it was meant to show how Gotham improved as a result of Batman’s actions, but it’s still a shame. Politically it was, if my memory serves me correctly, not as striking as the sequels, just with the typical libertarian bent of Batman.

The Dark Knight is a very libertarian movie. Since the justice system was partially cleaned up in the last movie, with Jim Gordon becoming lieutenant and Harvey Dent becoming district attorney, Bruce Wayne believes that he may soon be able to retire and leave justice in the hands of Dent, the “White Knight” of Gotham. However, everything begins to fall apart, and lets himself become a fall guy and take the blame so Gotham can continue in believing in Dent. I tried to be a bit light on the details there, because this one is the most fun of the three. Very enjoyable movie, only one caveat I want to touch on later.

The Dark Knight Rises is very reactionary. Eight years after the last movie, crime has been mostly cleaned up as a result of the police’s expanded powers (which only succeeded due to the corrupt cops being killed or exposed in the last movie). Bruce Wayne is all fucked up from the injuries he received in the last movie and now has a limp. A bunch happens and Bane ends up stealing all of Batman’s wealth and gadgets, including discovering the Batcave, locks him up in a prison, and ends up leading a communist revolution that successfully takes over Gotham. Over the next few months, Bruce Wayne trains until he’s strong enough to escape, frees all the police who’ve been locked up in jail, and leads a counter-revolution where the commies are all defeated. A lot messier of a film than the last two, and there’s quite a bit I left out. A review from it:

It’s funny how different the movies’ messages are. For example, in the Dark Knight, there’s one scene in particular that’s pretty hamfisted, where a boat full of prisoners is given a button to blow up a boat of civilians, that boat given vice-versa, and if neither press their button they both blow up. Neither end up pressing the button, and they both live. In the Dark Knight Rises, prisoners are broken out and given the option to join the revolution to loot Gotham and slaughter rich people or leave. They all then choose to join, of course! Quite funny.

Should wait to watch these until your kids are a bit older. There’s the violence and dark tone, as well as plot most likely too complex for kids to follow, and iirc there’s also an implied sex scene in the third film. I’d wait until they’re around 12, probably.

Tremors

A 1990 low-budget comedy monster movie. As far as B-movies go, it’s not bad. No CGI or special effects, so it’s entirely prosthetics and puppets which have aged quite well. It’s also one of the few movies on this list meant more for the populist, blue-collar faction of the right.

Best friends Val and Earl, two blue-collar good-ol’-boys, have finally saved up enough money to get out of the dead-end unincorporated town of Perfection in the middle-of-nowhere Nevada. The film implies they’ve been there a while, as they’re well-acquainted with the dozen or so residents, all of which know each other and get along well despite their eccentricities. But on the drive out, they realize something’s gone wrong as they find the old farmer and town drunk dead, and discover that giant, subterranean man-eating worms are slowly heading towards the town.

It’s not at all an intellectual movie of any kind. It’s just fun and endearing. It breaks a lot of the negative stereotypes often perpetuated by Hollywood - there are no human villains at all! While everybody in the town is eccentric in their own way, they’re all good people and they’re all endearing. The town also has a prepper couple preparing for the apocalypse, and yes, they’re good too. The best scene in the movie completely subverts the “useless preppers just die anyways!” trope, so I won’t go into detail as to not spoil it. It’s just nice to have a movie that isn’t made by city-loving, usually Jewish shitlibs that can’t help but seethe and project their hatred of rural protestant whites.

It’s not particularly “right-wing”, but this is the very bottom of the list and close to the cutoff point for what I’d include.

In the first 5 minutes, there’s some crude innuendo, and there’s obviously violence and blood, but in my opinion the latter is not too bad. The depiction of rural, blue-collar folks could be seen as demeaning, but it is a comedy after all. It’s an archetypical PG-13 movie, but I’d say it’s appropriate for 11-12 and up.

The X-Files*

A paranormal/supernatural drama show. There’s an addendum on this for two reasons; for one, it’s not a family show, but as far as shows for adults go, this is a good early/introductory one to watch with your kids once they get near or at double-digits in age. The second reason is that it might make your kids a little conspiracy brained, which is probably not a problem since it’s something they’ll grow out of… but they also might not.

If you don’t already know, the X-Files is about two FBI agents tasked with investigating unsolved, supposedly paranormal cases, specifically a skeptic woman named Dana Skully and a conspiratorial UFO enthusiast named Fox Mulder. 2/3rds of the episodes are monster-of-the-week type cases, and 1/3rd actually progress the plot, about a wider alien conspiracy that the two agents seem to be two minor pawns in. Very strongly inspired by The Twilight Zone.

It’s a very libertarian show. Paranoia is a major theme - after all, “The Truth is Out There” is the show’s motto. The government is usually responsible for (or covers up) a lot of what goes on. Some right-wingers have also argued for it being unintentionally reactionary as well. One such thread:

Interestingly, despite it being mostly “accidently based” in the early seasons, I believe having a couple 2000s-lib episodes, it supposedly became overtly right-wing in the 2016-2018 reboot. I don’t know if those seasons/episodes are any good, since nobody usually watches that far, but I figured that was worth mentioning.

It’s hard to give shows a score. It all depends on how you choose to engage with them, what you skip, when you stop, etc. But this is what I’ll say about it - supposedly, the first four seasons are quite good, and only after that it starts to decline in quality. I found a very nice watch list of what to watch and what to skip that you may find useful; reception towards it seems quite good. “Mythology” means episodes that advance the plot or are necessary to watch to understand things later. “Standalone” means a one-off, monster-of-the-week episode. You can look up “X-Files Watch Guide” if you want to see the full thing for the entire franchise.

The post has recently gotten quite a bit of traction. Because of that, I’ve been swamped with titles to check out. Until I go through them all, watch/rewatch some, and/or see what my Twitter mutuals think of them, I’d like to list all the recs I’ve gotten for potentially right-wing movies:

Some Good, But not RW Movies

There are some family movies that are good, but not exactly right-wing, or even somewhat lib-coded, yet still worth watching. Will only list the titles for most and will only go into detail when I want to. Loosely ranked top-bottom on how much I like them, but keep in mind that’s purely off my own subjective tastes and literally nothing objective.

For younger kids, I recommend literally everything they have on Hopscotch TV. I write more about that in the next section. You can see a lot of their titles in the screenshot below:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990 Movie). Features the classic 90s teen angst theme that a lot of kids movies did at the time. A great breadth yet balance of emotion, with somberness, goofiness, darkness. I may be biased due to nostalgia, but I really think it’s great and underrated. Just don’t watch the sequels.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971). A very good, classic movie. Politically it’s a bit of a mixed bag; on one hand, there’s a strong message about virtue being rewarded and sin being punished, but on the other, there’s a bit of class conflict, “poor people good, rich people evil!” going on.

Franklin (1997 Show). An educational preschool-aged kids show. It’s endearing, well-written, well-received, and has none of the neurosis of modern kids shows.

Pokemon (1997 Show). I know little about Pokemon after the original series, but I could see there being a decent argument for Pokemon being vaguely right-wing. I can guarantee that the original cartoon is quite good, but the 27 (and soon more) following seasons may not be. I believe the first movie is also good.

Everything by Hayao Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli). Pretty lib-coded for Japan, but that really just means very mildly liberal anywhere else, even less than the so-called “apolitical” movies in the West. These are all masterpieces regardless. Note that all of Miyazaki’s work is extremely culturally Japanese and may convert your kids to Shintoism. I say that only half-jokingly. If you or your kids (if they’re older) consider yourselves cinephiles, I recommend watching these movies in the original Japanese dubs, but I understand I can’t recommend that for most people. If you’re only watching these on your own, then do that. Some of my favorites from them, roughly in order, include:
Spirited Away (2001).
My Neighbor Totoro (1988).
Princess Mononoke (1997). My favorite Ghibli movie. Violent and serene, horrible and beautiful, even now I have more emotional attachment to it than nearly anything else on this list. However, it’s quite a bit darker - and much bloodier, outright gorier - than all their other films, even if still for kids, so keep that in mind. It’s also the only truly good environmentalist movie I’ve ever seen. For every minute of runtime showing devastation of the forests, waters, animals, and natural beauty of the Earth, there’s another showing the happiness, safety, and advancement brought to humans who otherwise would’ve lived in destitution and despair. Nor is nature fetishized; it’s shown as beautiful and healing, yes, but brutal, wild, and without the forgiveness (or the cruelty) of humanity. Just don’t look at the Wikipedia page (or if you do, compare it to the page in 2017); they’ve absolutely ruined that. It’s nuts how they raped its analysis to try and score a political win. Mildly feminist, but it’s still less so than the average “apolitical” movie we’ve had overseas since the 90s at a minimum, and obviously not a way that insults your intelligence, like the slop they feed us here. Apologies for such a long entry. I like the movie.
Kiki’s Delivery Service (1989).
Howl’s Moving Castle (2004).
Castle in the Sky (1988).

Predator (1987). A good young preteen/teen movie, especially for boys. Do I even need to name all the classic 80s/90s action flicks? There’s also Terminator, Rambo, Rocky, Die Hard (I admittedly haven’t seen those last two), Alien, and plenty more.

Harry Potter (2001-2011 Movie Series). The series gets progressively darker as it goes on (about on the same level as Twilight or typical YA content by the finale), but the first two movies in particular are mostly appropriate and fun for young audiences, and even the third is still rated PG. If you wanted, you could have just the first two to watch with them as kids, and then progressively introduce the rest as they get older, or just wait until they’re like 12 and then watch the rest. Almost the same as the books, the only notable negative change I’m aware of being that the tritagonist, Hermoine, is made more of a girlboss in the movies. Expect mildly libtarded (but some accidentally right-wing) themes.

The Wizard of Oz (1939).

Star Wars (1977). The first film is great. The rest of the original trilogy is good. The prequels are interesting. Everything goes to crap after that, and the sequels are unwatchable woke garbage. I grew up with the Star Wars movies, the original trilogy and the prequels, and it was sickening to find out that all of these people (the actors) I looked up to are really just vicious communists that hate me. I know that everything that comes out of Hollywood tends to have this problem, but this one in particular really hurt. I suppose, in a way, it was good in that it hardened my heart, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

E.T. The Extra Terrestrial (1982). Some scenes are a little freaky/scary, two scenes are a little sad.

Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro. Supposedly a masterpiece, as expected of Miyazaki. It’s a good apolitical or possibly lib-leaning movie, although I haven’t watched it yet and can’t say much more than that, but I have had certified MAGA pQtriots tell me it’s good.

Shrek (2001). The start of the “PG Crude Humor” genre that has plagued us ever since.

The Twilight Zone (1959). It’s sad to say, but The Twilight Zone was a quite progressive show for its time. However, it’s influential and (often) good enough that you can look past that in my opinion. I’m sure you know, but it can be a bit scary/freaky, so your youngest shouldn’t watch.

The Karate Kid (1984) - Supposedly very famous and critically acclaimed. Millennials like it I guess

Elf (2003)​. People tend to really like or really dislike this movie. I like it.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022). Can (and should) skip the first one.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). - Will check out again and probably end up adding to the right-wing movies list above.

Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer (1964).

Klaus (2019). A shockingly good secular Christmas movie considering how recent it is. Visually enchanting and unique, a good story, at most midly lib-leaning. Only drawback is that it has modern music that sucks.

Treasure Planet (2002). The last great American animated film; it’s famously the last traditionally animated film Disney ever made, and visually quite beautiful. The story is weak and doesn’t have the wit that classic Disney movies do. This was previously the very bottom entry on the RW movies list, meant to be exactly where the cutoff happens, but I decided Tremors fits better for that. Some RWers on Twitter say it’s more good than bad, others say the opposite, so feel free to decide for yourself.

Paul Blart Mall Cop (2009).

Monsters, Inc. (2001). In retrospect, I think this movie was kind of libtarded; evil corporation, main villain is the CEO, a big message about overcoming prejudice (kinda), government regulation/investigation is what saves the day, and probably more I’ve forgotten.

Toy Story (1995). I had to include this because it’s a very good movie, but my unpopular opinion is that you should not it to show your kids, or at least wait until they’re a bit less impressionable to watch it with them. It is unironically an infohazard that may doom them into becoming hoarders later in life. Toy Story 2 is pretty great, Toy Story 3 is a good conclusion, everything after that is crap that should not exist.

Ratatouille (2007). A lot of people really like this movie. I personally didn’t; I found it fine, I guess. Statistically, though, I’m a major outlier in that regard.

The Sandlot (1993).

The Goonies (1985).

A Bug’s Life (1998).

How and Where To Watch

Edit: I want to mention a streaming service I was recently told about, Hopscotch TV. It’s a streaming platform that launched late 2025, exclusively of retro, family-friendly cartoons for younger kids, designed specifically for parents who don’t like the modern children’s media landscape, and prefer more curated, mostly educational media for their kids to watch.

I get the impression that the people behind it are secretly based as well. Of course, they and the platform are entirely apolitical, as they should be, but I thought you might find that worth mentioning. It’s not very expensive either. And in the case that there’s anything you don’t want your kids to watch, or you want to restrict them to a certain age range of content (I think that one’s a thing?), it has parental controls for those who’d like to do so.

(A short intro on my thoughts on online services/platforms, feel free to skip the next few paragraphs)

There are a lot of different routes you can take in this regard. I am of the opinion that just letting your kids run wild and watch whatever they want, wherever they want is NOT a good idea. It’s more than just the risk of them accidently watching adult content - even if you perfectly set up parental controls, a lot of kid’s television is quite awful now.

Maybe you choose to let your kid watch the new G-rated Transformers cartoon. Whoops, they’re now watching an episode about gender identity and transgender robots! (real btw). Or maybe you let them watch Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, a kids show about dinosaurs. Whoops, they’re now watching a story arc about lesbian romance! (real btw). Or they watch We Baby Bears, or Paranormal Park, or Paw Patrol, or nearly every other kids show made from 2019-2024, and see content specifically about normalizing transgenderism and other queer shit, straight from the minds of the groomer DEI hire writers from this godforsaken era. You might think I’m exaggerating, but I’m really not. It’s awful. Not to mention that content on Youtube is often dopamine-maxxing slop.

Even modern children’s shows that aren’t political have become so sanitized that they don’t even allow antagonists to exist, essentially creating content where the only plot and conflict is focused around neurosis; an example from a conversation I saw on momtwitter.

But to get back on topic - how and where can you watch all these titles, especially in a safe, reliable way?

Method #1: DVDs. You’d be surprised how cheap and plentiful DVDs are when buying them second-hand. Every yard sale I go to has dozens, so cheap they may as well be free, same with thrift stores. It’s the only legitimate way to have everything you want to watch in one collection, curated in a way that ensures your kids only have access to what you want them to watch, that works no matter what, as long as you have electricity.

But perhaps you’ve already checked quite a few thrift stores and yard sales and simply have not found anything good. One other option is to try your luck with buying DVDs online. I personally haven’t, but that’s supposedly a good way to collect what you’re looking for without spending too much money. There are also Ebay listings that allow you to order DVDs from a huge lot. One example below:

It’s probably costs a bit, but you can also burn DVDs if both options above don’t work out for you.

There are some obvious drawbacks from using DVDs. Compared to VHS’s, and obviously digital media, they’re quite fragile. It’s quite easy for them to get scratched and never play again, especially when handled by kids. And if you’re also spoiled by the convenience of modern digital media, they’re quite cumbersome to use - have to put one in, press play, and when it’s done, take it out, put it away, track down the disc of whatever else you want to watch, you get it.

If you choose to take this route, please just get a (or a few) DVD holders, whether it’s the bags with plastic slits, or individual cases for each DVD, or my personal favorite, the cake box spindle holders. It will make your life so much easier, and they cost practically nothing.

Method #2: USB drive of movies/shows. This is the cheapest option by far. Nowadays, storage space and bandwidth are so cheap that it’s not at all unrealistic to just have a ton of stuff downloaded on a USB stick, SD card, or just straight in your home device, whether that’s a PC, Mac, or even console! I’d guess that half or more of the right-wing movies listed above you could hold on a 256 gigabyte stick, which on Amazon ranges from $30-50.

And yes, you can just stick a USB stick of downloaded videos into your Playstation or Xbox and watch them with just a few clicks. It’s really, really convenient; if you have a home console, you can just leave the USB stick in there at all times, and whenever you’d like to watch something from it, you can! Your kids could probably learn to navigate to it at not too old of an age either, if that’s something you’re comfortable with.

More specifically, all you have to do is get the movie(s) on your USB drive, plug it into a USB port in your console, and if on Xbox, open the media player app (may or may not be downloaded by default), and select your USB and then your movie(s). If on Playstation, do the same thing, just open media player, select your USB, and then select your movie(s).

That being said, there are a few drawbacks. The main drawback is trying to source your movies/shows. Since Method #3 suffers from the same problem, I’m going to be talking about this after. The next biggest drawback is something I recently discovered myself (as this is personally the method I use), that since USB drives are usually formatted to FAT32, you cannot move a file 4GB or larger onto it. That means no 4K, uncompressed movies. Now, I’ve been watching 1080p movies in quite high quality (and they all look way better than streaming!), and none had been larger than 4GB until I tried to move a 2.5hr long movie onto it.

If you’re watching on a console, it will only accept a few file types for videos, which is MP4s, maybe MKVs, probably MOVs, and afaik nothing else. That means that you cannot have any of the bonus features present in DVDs. Of course, there’s the same thing with streaming, but I personally loved old DVD menus and all the cool, very fun stuff they had to offer. This problem DVDs also have, but you will also not have access to any of your movies if you don’t have the USB physically with you, and if it’s lost/damaged/corrupted, you will lose everything on it. Some limits on size and speed as well.

Method #3: NAS Server. This the most expensive option, costing a few hundred dollars at a minimum, and will take the most work to set up, but is absolutely incredible and a great investment. A NAS (Network Attached Storage) is a storage device meant to hold media that allows it to be securely streamed through the internet. This includes anything - music, television, movies, audiobooks, even Live TV (somehow), as long as you have it downloaded/connected to your NAS, as long as it’s plugged in and (if trying to connect to its content from elsewhere) connected to the internet.

You have to choose what media server software to use with it. From what I’ve seen, EMBY and Jellyfin are considered the best. Supposedly EMBY has the best parental controls, and when set up is as easy to use as any streaming platform, but better. Jellyfin is more popular.

It’s probably important to state that I don’t have one, and I’m only going off second party experiences.

I guess as a TLDR of what it’s good for: it’s a device specifically meant to work as a server (storage to access remotely or locally), and can be accessed from anywhere, anytime, as long as it has electricity and internet. Can hold a massive amount of content, and if using the right software, will look very professional. It’s functionally similar to how services like Netflix work, except you are the one hosting your own content on your own device, and connect to that instead.

Method 3.5: Home Server

If you happen to have a home PC that’s on most of the time, this might be a good alternative to where you don’t have to spend $400+ on a NAS. Or perhaps you simply just want to test out media server software on your PC first to see if that’s really what you want to do. In that case, you can always just run Jellfin or EMBY on your computer and use it as a server instead.

For an example, these are some (but not all) of the things you can stream Jellyfin to, and below that, you can see what the Jellyfin application actually looks like. (There’s no particular reason I’m putting this here and not under the NAS section btw, it applies just as much there)

That’s just a screenshot from the actual website. The “Amazon” option just means devices with the Amazon Store can download the Jellyfin client (what it streams to), which is a few smart TVs I guess. “And More” includes Xbox, Apple TV, and Kodi.

Hopefully now you’re starting to see what’s so great about this. You could, for example, just use your PC as a server and put a bunch of movies in Jellyfin, then get a Roku with the Jellyfin app and nothing else, so then your kids basically have a streaming service limited to whatever you want. Or use your Xbox, or your smart TV, and so on.

Here are the downsides of running media server applications on your desktop or laptop compared to a NAS: if you leave your PC on just to run this, it’s less energy efficient (which is why you wouldn’t just use an old PC). When your PC is off, none of the content is available. Your computer will most likely not have that much space available, maybe a couple hundred gigabytes, which will fill up faster than you expect. But, if you want to test out Jellyfin or EMBY before any investment into NAS, there’s not really any reason not to.

For Methods 2 and 3/3.5, How To Source Movies:

So… because of Substack’s TOS, I cannot tell you where or how to source these. However, what I can tell you is that, if you have any techy friends or family that you trust, you can easily reach out to them and ask how to go about that. I can assure you that most of the time, people like them love to help. And I say “techy” not because it’s at all difficult - it’s actually very easy, and if you’re not in a hellhole country like Germany, legal enough - but because they’ll surely know how to help you find what you need in a safe way and tell you what you need to know. If you’re going with the USB method, they might even just do it all for you.

If you don’t have anyone like that available, I suppose one thing I can suggest is checking out this subreddit, especially the megathread. I hope you will find this to be a good resource. I recommend using a VPN.

Method 4: Amazon Prime Video

Amazon offers online movie and show purchases that stay permanently attached to your account if purchased, or can be temporarily rented. There’s actually quite an impressive quantity of movies and shows available, even many that are otherwise exclusive to specific streaming services.

I believe the parental controls are… better, maybe, than they used to be, but it’s still not great. You still can’t have an account that lets you just choose what is or isn’t available.

However, this is only barely a step above just using streaming services. There are still many free movies and shows available that are far-left propaganda, and I’m not sure if you can restrict them beyond a “Kids” account, in which case they can still watch plenty of G-rated garbage. If you’ve ever used Netflix, you probably know how there’s all the different categories when you scroll. When you open the app/website, some of the first categories when you open it are “LGBTQ+ Stories”, “Black Voices”, “Women-Lead Action” (or something like that), it’s obnoxious. There’s less now that we’ve dropped a bit from “peak woke”, but it’s awful.

There’s also that purchasing movies here obviously supports Amazon, who donate massive amounts of money towards leftist media and leftist causes. I mostly recommend using this as a last-resort, a way to basically just watch a movie every once in a while if you have no other real way to.

(I would actually very much appreciate suggestions, I know there are definitely many movies I missed). As with all of the Substack guides I’ve released so far, everything was written and proofread by me alone, and I am not a cinephile, so you may want to take that into consideration.

I am a fairly “techy” person, but I tried my best to simplify things as much as I could in that last section to what I believe the average layman could understand - let me know if at any point I did not.

While I do like Japan and Japanese media a lot, I’m definitely not a weeb, so I’ll do my best with what I know and what a few minutes of research on each can tell me. Only the introductory tweet will I comment on the libtard’s views, because it would too funny to pass that one up.

One more thing: keep in mind that the vast majority of mangaka simply don’t talk about politics at all. Considering the incredible vote share that right-wing parties get in Japan, we can presume most, or at the absolute least, a very large minority are conservative. These are simply the ones who are vocal about it.

The List

It’s such a hilariously perfect opener; beefing with this random guy’s claim, then devoting the next two years towards a thread proving him correct. Just so good.

Mamoru Oshii is a filmmaker, director and writer. He’s had quite an extensive career, but a few of my favorites of what he’s directed are Angel’s Egg (1985) and Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade (1999), both of which he also wrote, and Ghost in the Shell (1995). All three are incredible movies, definitely worth watching. Some more of his filmography:

TLDR: Endo Tetsuyo hates transgenderism (based!) & has used his manga to promote right-wing legislation. His most successful manga/anime is Spy x Family, an action-comedy which I have not watched, but was extremely successful and I have heard is good, and I believe is pretty wholesome.

Toshio Sako is the creator of the manga/OVA Usogui, an action-drama gambling manga with battle royale elements.

Masami Obari has an incredible portfolio. here’s a screenshot of some of his work.

Akiman seems to be a character designer, not mangaka or writer.

Makoto Kobayashi is a mangaka, but his work hasn’t seemed particularly successful with overseas audiences, and I’m not sure what/how much of it has even been localized. Regardless, here’s everything he’s made:

Chiaki J. Konaka is a writer and novelist, most famously the writer of Serial Experiments Lain. Lain is an incredible series, easily one of the greatest anime ever made. Dark, brooding, psychological, it’s great as long as you’re not prone to psychosis. His other anime Texhnolyze (2003) is also fairly well known, but not as good. He primarily writes horror, with an affinity for Lovecraftian horror, but has written other works and genres. Anime he’s written for:

He was also the head designer/writer of the Serial Experiments Lain video game. iirc, there was even an episode of Digimon he wrote for where he made the main monster a quite blatant allegory for leftists.

Nobuyuki Fukumoto (“Kaiji Guy”) is the mangaka behind Gambling Apocalypse: Kaiji, a manga about a degenerate gambler, burdened by debt and regret, who has to go through more and more extreme games to get himself out of debt. The manga was supposedly very successful and has been adapted into a few live-action films.

Carlo Zen isn’t even that right-wing. If you don’t know, LDP has won the largest share of seats in every election since post-war Japan democratized. He’s literally just a normal guy, lmao.

The Saga of Tanya the Evil is a light novel/manga/anime/film about a Japanese salaryman dude who was murdered and reborn as a German girl in the 1920s, and then forced by God to basically join Imperial Germany and become a ruthless killer and rise through the military’s ranks and crush the enemy forces, or otherwise be sent to burn in hell for eternity. Not the kind of thing I’d watch or read, but the whiplash between the libtard’s hysterics, then the mangaka’s very moderate and soft-spoken opinions, and finally that absolutely unhinged plot synopsis was really funny.

NON is the mangaka behind Pole Star, a manga about… a middle schooler who becomes a pole dancer. Let’s move on.

Yasuke Murata is the manga artist - but not writer! - behind the mangas One Punch Man and Eyeshield 21.

Yoshitaka Amano is a freelance illustrator, scenic designer, and costume designer. He literally gets paid to draw illustrations for people, this doesn’t even tell us anything about him, lmao.

Yoshiyuki Sadamoto is a character designer and sometimes mangaka who worked at Gainax, designing characters for Neon Genesis Evangelion, FLCL, and quite a few other anime. Here’s a list of what he’s worked on:

He also wrote the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga. His supposedly anti-Korean statements ended up getting him (forcibly?) resigned from Gainax. I also want to note that there is a pretty long list of older Gainax employees who were “outed” by libtards; it seems like the majority were very conservative.

Hiroya Oku is the mangaka most famous for creating Gantz, a manga/anime/live-action psychological horror/thriller series.

Takashi Aoshima is the mangaka (and director/writer of the anime) of Uzaki-Chan Wants to Hang Out!, a slice-of-life romance. I don’t watch romance anime, sorry, so no idea if it’s any good.

I think this is referring to the Ken Otsuka who, checking his imdb page, has been an animator on an endless list of major anime. Doesn’t seem to write or direct, though, and I couldn’t find his twitter account (maybe deleted?).

Yasukai Kita wrote the manga Kenka Shobai (2005-2010), a martial arts manga about a narcissistic genius who becomes obsessed with fighting.

Tatsuya Egawa is the mangaka behind Golden Boy (1992-1997), a manga about a freeloader who wanders around doing odd jobs and getting with women. Supposedly quite successful.

Yasutaka Tsutsui is a 91-year old novelist whose most famous for The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (1961) and Paprika (1993), both of which have been adapted into multiple anime and films, and his works are considered the basis for Japan’s postmodern sci-fi. He’s also famous for getting into controversies and mocking taboo subjects. For example:

I’ve heard from reliable sources that he’s actually the man behind the Howling Mutant twitter account. Impressive stuff.

Koji Kumeta is the mangaka behind a whole bunch of manga. So far I’ve heard of most of these, and have known which are the most famous or critically acclaimed; no idea with his work. Here’s everything he’s written:

Supposedly Sayonara, Zetsuboi-Sensei (2005-2012) is his most popular/famous manga.

Yoshito Yamahara wrote the manga Ryuroden (1993), an isekai about three Japanese teenagers being transported to ancient China during a time of war and having to learn to survive.

Satoru Ozawa is the 90-year-old mangaka behind Blue Submarine No. 6 (1967), which had an anime and video game adaptation. Supposedly a decent manga.

Leiji Matsumoto was mangaka behind quite a few works, but most famously the manga/anime Space Battleship Yamato, Space Pirate Captain Harlock, and Galaxy Express 999. All three were quite popular and received anime adaptations, Yamato supposedly being a major influence to Gundam, Evangelion and Space Invaders (lol). Just look at its contents page!

From what I understand, Shinji Hiramatsu’s most famous/successful works were only illustrated by him.

Yoshinori Kobayashi is almost solely famous for how far-right he is, being the first “neto-uyo”, aka Japanese ultra-nationalist. His one big manga is a revisionist retelling of the Pacific War where the Japanese are the good guys, lol.

Yasuhiro Irie is an animator and was the director - but not writer - of the critically acclaimed anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Kouki Yoshimune is the creator and writer of Muv-Luv, a 2003-2006 visual novel series, famous for supposedly being a major influence to Attack on Titan.

Yoshimurakana is the mangaka behind Murcielago (2013-present), an action… yuri (lesbian) manga.

Kazuichi Hanawa is the mangaka behind quite a few popular horror mangas. His work is supposedly extremely revered and influential in Japan, but seemingly not that popular in the West. His most famous/popular work is the semi-autobiographical manga Doing Time (1998-2000), based on his three years spent in prison, and is supposedly quite good.

Rin Horuma is the creator of the role-playing video game franchise (and eventual manga & anime) Medabots. Seems quite popular in Japan, but not quite so in the U.S.

Toh Azuma is the mangaka behind Lord El-Melloi (2017) and Fate/Grand Order: Qin Shi Huang (2021), both short one-off sequels/mangas based on other properties.

Masanao Kurihara wrote Uramiya Honpo, a manga about a woman whose job is to get paid to enact revenge on evil people.

Kouji Mori is the creator of Holyland (2000), a fighting manga. He was, prior to Kentaro Miura’s death, his closest friend, and was the only person Miura ever told the complete story of Berserk to. If you don’t know, Berserk is one of the most famous and beloved manga of all time. He’s now in charge of finishing the Berserk manga and drawing/storyboarding everything Miura told him about.

Takashi Hashiguchi is the mangaka behind Yakitate!! Japan (2001), a fairly successful manga/anime/video game about a boy who has the legendary ability of extra warm hands, allowing him to cause dough to ferment faster and become a legendary bread baker.

Don’t get your hopes up; Yuka Nagate only wrote a spinoff sequel to Fist of the North Star. Her manga Gift+ seems to have decent reception, and is about a girl who works for an illegal organ harvesting operation, which sounds like an interesting premise to me.

Taeko Watanabe wrote the manga Kaze Hikaru, which seems to be basically just Japanese Mulan, and is meant for teenage girls. Was fairly successful in Japan. She also inspired Shinji and Rei of the famous anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Takoa Koyama was the chief writer for quite a few anime, most famous of them Dragon Ball Z (Hispanics vindicated?!). No idea how different, if at all, the anime is to the manga. Here’s the full list:

Yabako Sandrovich is the mangaka behind the manga/anime Kengan Ashura, about a salaryman who begins fighting in underground street fights/tournaments. Was also part of a skinhead/oi! band.

Kimio Yanagisawa wrote the coming-of-age manga Aoki Honoo, seems mostly only successful in Japan.

Hiroyuki Kawasaki wrote After War Gundam X and the Sakura Wars sequels.

Here’s another big one. From what I read, Kazunari Suzuki wasn’t the “creator”, but was very influential early on and a writer and supervisor with later entries to the Megami Tensei series. Megami Tensei is a media franchise including the Megami Tensei games, Persona, and Devil Summoner. The comments below this one were great, lol.

Shin Kibayashi (who goes by a dozen different pen names) was the writer for The Kindaichi Case Files, a mystery/detective manga series, one of the best-selling manga of all time. Was also adapted into an anime, video games, CD books, and multiple live action films and series. Similarly successful was GetBackers, an action-comedy manga with similar success and adaptations. He’s also written Rimoto, Gifted, Detective School Q, Bloody Monday, the video game Fire Emblem Fates, and quite a bit more; he seems to be a quite gifted man.

Motofumi Kobayashi is the mangaka behind Cat Shit One, known in the U.S. as Apocalypse Meow, a military manga. Was adapted as a one-episode CG OVA.

I like how this one says “caught retweeting”, as if sharing those posts isn’t the point. Mitsuo Iso is primarily an animator (famously animated much of the End of Evangelion Asuka fight), but also directed and wrote his own series, Den-noh Coil (2007), a sci-fi anime about a group of children trying to navigate daily life in a futuristic, half-internet half-real future. He also directed/wrote the honorary sequel, The Orbital Children (2022), with a similar, but even more futuristic setting & plot. Both seem to have had quite great receptions and received manga adaptations & spinoffs afterwards.

Hikaru Yuzuki has written quite a few manga, the most successful being Amai Seikatsu and Sweet Life. All his manga appear to be romance.

Yoshiyuki Tomino is the creator, director, and writer of Mobile Suit Gundam (1979), one of the most successful and famous anime & media franchises of all time, and created many of the sequels up until 2015. The Minna no To Party, if I understand correctly, was essentially the LDP with a more libertarian/liberal bent.

Koichiro Yasunaga is the mangaka behind Prefectural Earth Defense Force (1983), a parody of the tokusatsu (think Power Rangers) genre. It had one anime movie adaptation.

Kenshi Hirokane is the mangaka behind Hello Harinezumi (1980-1989), a mystery/detective manga, and Kosaku Shima (1983-present), a manga about a salaryman’s life as he progresses through his career. Honestly, neither sound too interesting to me, but both have had adaptations/spinoffs, and the latter is one of the best-selling manga of all time.

Shoji Gatoh is the creator and writer behind the light novel and manga (and maybe also the anime adaptations?) of Full Metal Panic!, a very successful action/mecha series. The based king said this about Greta Thunberg on his Twitter in 2019:

"I hate that kid. If I was the ruler of the world, I would steal everything from her, knock her into the depths of despair and ridicule her. On top of that, I'd feed her a delicious, piping hot steak and watch her shed bitter tears. I’d love to see that."

Keiichi Sigsawa is the writer of quite a few manga & light novels, but most famously of Kino’s Journey (2000-present), a quite successful sci-fi adventure light novel that received manga, anime, and video game adaptations.

Guess what! Now it’s time to get your hopes up, because Yoshiyuki Okamura (pen name Buronson) is the writer of Fist of the North Star (1983-1988), one of the best-selling and most legendary manga in history. He’s also written Doberman Deka (1975-1979) and a huge list of other successful manga.

Hiroshi Yamaguchi is a screenwriter whose worked on a whole bunch of stuff; he worked on the script for three episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion, created and wrote the anime Gate Keepers (2000) and its sequel, wrote and directed the anime Betterman (1999), and has written large chunks of and individual episodes of over 60 more anime.

For now that concludes our list. If you’re wondering why I censored the name of the guy writing the thread… I honestly don’t have a reason, considering how easy it is to find the thread. Just wanted to be petty.

There were quite a few people I left out, primarily anyone who did not have a role in directing or writing any of the stories featured above. Considering their roles in production, their politics are irrelevant, besides for leftist witch hunting. There was also a surprising amount of far-right but incredibly degenerate creators on there. Still feels very strange from a Western perspective to see how absurd degeneracy has little overlap with political leanings in otaku culture. Also excluded anyone who seemed to not want their political views to be known and made them public by accident.

What to Watch, Read, or Play

Here’s a selection of the most popular or best works of the people listed above. I’m also going to rank them top-bottom based on how good I either believe or know they are, but please keep in mind, this is purely based off a balance of my limited knowledge with vibes and sales/popularity.

Serial Experiments Lain (1998 Anime). Lain is an incredible series, easily one of the greatest anime ever made. Dark, brooding, psychological, it’s great as long as you’re not prone to psychosis and aren’t bothered by quite depressing content. And unlike, say, Evangelion, underneath all of its esoteric and vague storytelling and iconography, everything seems to have a coherent and purposeful meaning. Also a visual novel game intended to go alongside the anime, no idea if it’s any good. Only real problem with Lain is that troons love it. 13 episodes.

Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade (1995 Anime). Great movie.

Ghost in the Shell (1999 Anime). Only directed by someone openly right-wing, not written. Movie.

Angel’s Egg (1985 Anime). Great movie, not very long.

Fist of the North Star (1983-1988 Manga). One of the best-selling and most influential manga in history. A martial arts warrior travels around a post-apocalyptic world fighting bandits, warlords, and opposing martial arts warriors, seeking to defend the innocent and obliterate the guilty. Anime adaptation has 159 episodes, multiple anime movies. Many spinoffs and related media.

Mobile Suit Gundam, one of the most successful and famous anime & media franchises of all time. Many of the sequels up until 2015 were written by the original mangaka.

Spy x Family (2019-present), an action-comedy manga/anime which I have not watched, but was extremely successful and I have heard is good, and I believe is pretty wholesome. 50 episodes so far, more coming soon.

The Kindaichi Case Files (1992-present Manga), a mystery/detective manga series, one of the best-selling manga of all time. Was also adapted into multiple anime movies, multiple anime shows, video games, CD books, light novel, and multiple live action films and series.

Neon Genesis Evangelion (1994-2013 Manga). Has a different story to the anime. Anime is better, but manga is better than the movie tetralogy.

Texhnolyze (2003 Anime). A surreal, cyberpunk thriller. 22 episodes, very slow-paced, but supposedly fairly good. By the same guy behind Lain.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (1961 Novel) and Paprika (1993 Novel), both very influential novels from the same person. Both have been adapted into multiple anime and films. Supposedly considered the basis for Japan’s postmodern sci-fi.

Gantz, a manga/anime/live-action psychological horror/thriller series. Select instances of the recently deceased are revived by the government and forced to fight against alien creatures, and the highest performers are given the option to return to everyday life. Anime has 26 episodes.

Den-noh Coil (2007 Anime). A sci-fi anime about a group of children trying to navigate daily life in a futuristic, half-internet half-real future. 26 episodes.

The Orbital Children (2022 Anime). An honorary sequel to Den-noh Coil, with a similar, but even more futuristic setting & plot. Both this and Den-noh seem to have had quite great receptions and received manga adaptations & spinoffs afterwards. 6 episodes.

Full Metal Panic!. A very successful and famous action/mecha series. Originally a light novel, then continued through multiple manga sequels. Multiple anime adaptations, I believe around 50 episodes total between them all, and a few anime movies.

Kengan Ashura (2012-present Manga). About a salaryman who begins fighting in underground street fights/tournaments. Anime has 52 episodes, one anime movie.

Kino’s Journey (2000-present). A quite successful sci-fi adventure light novel that received manga, anime, and video game adaptations. 26 episodes, multiple anime movies.

The Saga of Tanya the Evil (2010-present) is a light novel/manga/anime/film about a Japanese salaryman dude who was murdered and reborn as a German girl in the 1920s, and then forced by God to basically join Imperial Germany and become a ruthless killer and rise through the military’s ranks and crush the enemy forces, or otherwise be sent to burn in hell for eternity. The synopsis sounds unhinged, wtf.

GetBackers (1997-2007 Manga). An action-comedy supernatural manga. Anime has 49 episodes.

Usogui (2006-2017 Manga), an action-drama gambling manga with battle royale elements.

Gambling Apocalypse: Kaiji (1996-present Manga). About a degenerate gambler who, burdened by debt and regret, has to go through more and more extreme games and gambles to get himself out of debt. The manga was supposedly fairly successful and has been adapted into a few live-action films.

Kosaku Shima (1983-present Manga). About a salaryman’s life as he progresses through his career. Honestly, it doesn’t too interesting to me, but is one of the best-selling manga of all time and has had adaptations/spinoffs.

Kenka Shobai (2005-2010 Manga), a martial arts manga about a narcissistic genius who becomes obsessed with fighting.

Uzaki-Chan Wants to Hang Out! (2017-present), a slice-of-life romance anime/manga. I don’t watch romance anime, nor do I have the slightest idea how I’d rank or judge one, so no idea if it’s any good. 25 episodes.

After War Gundam X (1996-1997 Anime). Takes place in an alternate universe to Gundam where Earth was ravaged by space debris, and the remnants of humanity scrape by and try to rebuild civilization. 39 episodes.

Golden Boy (1992-1997 Manga). A comedy manga about a freeloader who wanders around doing odd jobs and getting with women. Supposedly quite successful.

Sayonara, Zetsuboi-Sensei (2005-2012 Manga). A black comedy slice-of-life manga and anime. 38 episodes.

Blue Submarine No. 6 (1967 Manga). A post-apocalyptic series where the Earth’s oceans have risen and submerged the earth, and the last of humanity’s forces operate in submarines meant to fight off genetically engineered creatures meant to destroy humanity. Has an anime and video game adaptation. Supposedly a decent manga, but with uninteresting, paper-thin characters. 4 episodes.

Ryuroden (1993-2007 Manga). An isekai about three Japanese teenagers being transported to ancient China during a time of war and having to learn to survive.

Medabots. Video game franchise with entries on Gameboy, GBA, DS, 3DS, and Nintendo Switch. Also had children’s manga and anime adaptations.

Muv-Luv. A 2003-2006 visual novel series. Influential, but supposedly not very good.

There are many anime better than most of the ones mentioned above, and many that are quite right-wing stories, but the mangaka behind them are not openly right-wing as far as I know. Some recommendations:

Legend of the Galactic Heroes (1982-1987 Anime). Many based patriot mutuals on X swear to me that it’s the greatest anime ever made. I trust their word on it, even if I haven’t seen a single episode. Multiple anime adaptations of the novels, the most popular one having 110 episodes.

Watch Order: My Conquest is the Sea of Stars (movie) → Overture to a New War (movie) → Legend of the Galactic Heroes (110 episodes, but start at episode 3 because Overture to a New War covered the events of episodes 1-2) → Legend of the Galactic Heroes Gaiden (52 episodes across two series). Or, in more detail:

Alternatively, you can just watch the original series (the four seasons of 110 episodes) and decide if you want to watch the prequels or remake from there.

Frieren (2020-present Manga & Anime). An adventure-drama fantasy about Frieren, an elf, whose long lifespan allows her to live well after her old friends age and die, which leads her to reflect on her life and her companions or something. I haven’t watched it, but have heard it’s quite good from everyone who has. Seems to have subtly right-wing themes as well. Neither the manga or anime have concluded, and the anime is currently at 38 episodes.

Fullmetal Alchemist. Two anime, both with quite different stories. About two brothers who lost parts of their bodies trying to resurrect their mother, and are on a journey to try and restore themselves to how they were before. Brotherhood is a 1-1 adaptation of the manga, while the older anime has its own plot that goes in a much darker direction. Both anime are worth watching, and despite their vast differences, are practically equal in quality. First has 51 episodes, Brotherhood has 64 episodes.

Berserk (1997-1998 Anime). I’ve both read the manga and watched the 90s anime; the latter is better, or at the very least, what you should start with before reading the manga. Better pacing, smart cuts and changes that make complete sense when you understand what the anime is meant to be. Most seem to disagree, but I’m right. Quite dark.

Cowboy Bebop (1998-1999 Anime). Best described as a sci-fi western. Critically acclaimed, for good reason. 26 episodes.

Death Note (2006 Anime). Mildly supernatural psychological thriller about a high school senior who finds a book called the Death Note, which kills anyone whose name he enters into the book. Very subtly lib-coded with its critique of vigilantism and refusal to acknowledge the implications of its own story later on, but basically nothing else that I remember. It’s a great anime in every other regard.

Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995-1996 Anime). One of the most popular and influential anime. How much you appreciate it will most likely decrease the older you get; it’s the quintessential “I’m 14 and this is deep” anime, so if you happen to still be a teenager, try to move it up your bucket list. Still enjoyable - and in a few small ways, even more so - as an adult, but it’s not the same. Contains more fanservice than the other anime in my recommendation list.

There’s quite a bit of Eva material at this point, and sometimes people don’t know how to watch it. First watch the 1995-1996 anime, then watch End of Evangelion (1997 Film), then consume nothing after that because it’s all crap, besides the alternate story manga I suppose, which is decent. Or watch the film tetralogy remake right after and see how comparatively awful it is. Anime can be found on Netflix, but sucks because it’s slightly censored, so should be watched on a… idk if I can say this on Substack… pie-rah-ting website or tohr-rint, because the DVDs are literally hundreds of dollars to buy.

Everything from Studio Ghibli. My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Of those, I’ve only not seen the first and last, but I can confirm that they’re all beautiful movies. I bet many of the other Ghibli films are great too.

The tide, however, has begun to change. If there’s one thing we can certainly praise the populist right for, it’s the pedestal they place culture upon. So many, like myself, want to support right-wing artists. And there’s the problem… where are they? How do you find them? The answers I’ve seen have usually amounted to “look around on social media”, which I find unacceptable. The lack of organization and support on the right should be seen as an embarrassment.

Here’s the best I, just one man, can do, a spreadsheet of every right-wing artist I’ve found on social media (albeit almost exclusively through searching X/Twitter), organized to the best of my abilities.

I happened to find a list of right-wing mangaka (Japanese manga/anime artists), funnily enough made by a leftist intending to “cancel” them. It, of course, didn’t work, and only made them look awesome. I went through each entry and reviewed them and their work, and I included a little bonus at the end of a few of the best anime that I know are good and recommend.
