WHERE ARE WE?

Hello Seekers.

On my end, I feel like I am not doing my due diligence as a wayfinder. I see my role within this realm of arts as a kind of navigator of new territory, mostly because I am lost in the craft and in the living which feeds this craft. And while the art acts as a key:legend of the arcane frontier, I still find myself attached to this optic of having it “figured out.” Utter bullshit. But, this too shall pass.

That being said… Now that MANDO FILES:: VOL. 1 is finally out, there is a weight off my shoulders and lessons in the repertoire that I am energized to move with. More paths to clarity. More questions that cut deep to the heart of the matter.

As {WAYFINDER} I have a vision that needs you, Seekers, to help fulfill.

Within the GOLDMAZE CODEX, we are operating a phase known as [MYTHSUPREMACY], where revolution mythology meets hip-hop craft. THE BOLT was the first entry. MANDO FILES:: VOL. 1 is the next entry. So is the bonus lore archive that worthy Seekers can access at any time [DM or email me for access!]

This is a phase of alchemy, inner revolution, and keycraft, and as we await the next entry I want to apply what I’ve learned in these first two to the practice of Wayfinding. Rather, the practice of laying out the path for others like me.

You see, I know I’m not alone in this vision for Truth. I can’t be alone in this vision of a world of magic. I can’t be alone in this journey of inner revolution, self-mastery.

Title: {Holistic Power} in Practice

Today, I would like to expand on the concept of “Holistic Power,” introduced in my “POWER=K[M]” Essay.

  • Power is the application and activation of pieces of data into concerted practice.

  • The concept of practice is versatile, so allow every potential project or endeavor to seek manifestation.

OPERATIVE QUESTION: WHAT ARE POTENTIAL APPLICATIONS OF THIS PRINCIPLE WITHIN ONE’S MODEL OR VISION?

IN [MAZIST] TERMS: HOW CAN ONE TAKE STOCK OF ONE’S POWER WITHIN THEIR OPERATION?

Naturally, my brewing embodiment of the wizard archetype, alchemizing my Past and Present towards a vision of the Future, sees power as an angle of motion—a point of leverage within the metaphysical paradigm of my operation. I’m speaking almost strictly abstract here.

I really do see MAZISM as this large machine in the metaphysical space, and the POWER SYSTEM I’ve adopted within MAZIST MYTHOS-engineering are its particular gears and tools for optimum function, keeping the metaphor going.

I see it like this—when I use a MAZIST POWER, its function is to activate a certain gear or mechanism within the larger ARCANE CODEX that is the GOLDMAZE, literally pushing or pulling that concept across this nebulous realm that can really only be accessed through the mental and spiritual faculties.

But, in order to begin practice, I had to name my inner states as their own sort of processing machine, its own dynamo.

MAZIST PRINCIPLE:: the Full-Body Dynamo of Arcana

: MENTAL ELEMENT: THE :META:

: SPIRITUAL ELEMENT: THE :KI:

: CORPOREAL ELEMENT: THE :SOMA:

These three elements are a process with which arcane energies can be harnessed for transformation within one’s life. Now, I’ve mentioned the :META: before on this blog, this is important because then it was used as an anchor point for the strangeness of the sensation of Mind—that awareness. A skyward spark to the nebulous beginnings that occur within a lifetime. It follows the first Hermetic Principle: the ALL is Mind. The universe is a mental construct.

Using this as our starting point in the practice of Holistic Power, we begin by identifying the powers we wish to employ via the LAW OF NOMENCLATURE.

I have yet to find this principle adequately recorded, so allow me to synthesize it—repurposed from biblical context and more esoteric observations within spirituality and manifestation—stating that all things, in this complex superstructure of Reality, have a name; when we give names to things we are in fact pulling from an ancient power associated with creation and destruction.

This ability is accessed through the Point of Origin that is the META, which subsists the MIND.

THE MAZIST POWER SYSTEM is the metaphysical courage to name the powers I intuitively use in my operation, giving me agency over their function to me, the Wizard of NeoMystery. As Seekers you all deserve an inside look at this system and its mechanics within MAZISM.

FIRST POWER:: UN.IO

Standing for UserName.InteractiveOperation [or ImmersiveOperation] the UN.IO is the STRUCTURE OF SELF.

Not only as the Mazist, but as a creative, I’m realizing how easy it is to forget the Self is an illusory concept, just barely ethereal but can attach and detach to pieces of the external world. If you go to Carl Jung, the structure of our psychic identity has many layers with different functions and depths per layer. I think this model is useful for the creative, who must wear different hats, must adopt different mindsets for executing certain ideas, but I believe his model is not versatile enough.

Within MAZISM, I use alter egos as vehicles for conceptual experimentation, but they are not separate from Self. In fact, the Self is actually transformed by this mechanism, this MAZIST POWER, and can pull from the world of insight attached to each UN.IO. As a mechanism which configures aspects and ideas connected to my truest Self, the Structure of Self is in flux, and ever-evolving. The UN.IO observes this shifting quality of Self as a means to deeper understanding.

Now the concept of an alter ego itself is not new, but the decision to identify the ability to enter alter egos as an operation of excavating and transforming Self is the MAZIST quality of the practice.

SECOND POWER:: :KNO: the Navigation of Self

This power essentially gives my conscious operation the space and wherewithal to excavate the dimensions achieved through the UN.IO representation. For example, the ability to perceive the ins and outs of the world of SOLO.KNIGHT at large, even Deathstalker, is a faculty of this power—this Navigation of Self.

THIRD POWER:: WILL: the Force of Time

Allow me to expand on this for a moment. In my mind, we mostly perceive time based on the dogmatic perceptions passed down from higher modes of society—economics, politics, religion. Whether this perception be cyclical, linear, ascending, descending, it depends on the organization of priorities practiced by the observer. Thus, the direction they move is affected by this perception. I believe it is the willpower that subsists the force which our temporal perception facilitates. We make decisions from moment to moment, and the degrees of agency are consistent across these vantage points. It is through the will that we exert any lasting impact upon the mystery of Time. A momentous force when activated consistently and concertedly.

Here ends the power breakdown for now.

I will uncover more secrets of the MAZIST POWER SYSTEM as I see fit over time—definitely expect more methods to practice Holistic Power in the coming months. I do want to stress however that this system is a personal one. One that has helped me reclaim my agency towards my mental health and creative potential. I share these methods and thoughts not only because it speaks to the wizard in me but because I know there are others who could use that archetype in their own lives. We are Seekers—of knowledge, of answers, of the mysteries and delights—we can’t help but create our own paths. I only wish to document mine. Hopefully, you see how power can be practiced in the ethereal elements of Mind and Spirit—how we can identify what gives us an edge as long as we have a creative bone in our body. I codify it, but the freedom is in your hands to where you decide to take your practice.

Are you finding yourself a bit lost here? Are the dispatches leaving you more confused than anything else? Where is this all leading? What is MAZISM? Where do I even begin to get caught up with the storyline and concepts?

I gotchu. A worthy Seeker deserves orientation in what I’m building as MAZISM, a grounding. This is meant to be a key to following the story and lore of everything. I will do my best here to provide a proper introduction to the world.

MY BACKSTORY:

If you want to understand MAZISM, it’s best to start with my obsession with the mystic arts, the arcane, if you will. I always saw myself as either a superhero or wizard, often combining the two archetypes in my childhood stories. As I grew into my late high school years, I learned about embodiment, particularly when it came to manifestation. And I had a funny thought: what if I really put my mind to it, could I become a wizard? Such a purely curious thought grew into an idea for an alter ego expressed through digital art, JERICHO SAGE, as a way to manifest this embodiment of the wizard archetype in my own life. It was honestly mad science, and this led to a harsh psychosis, followed a bit later by a stint of homelessness, and then another psychotic break. I was put through the ringer. And throughout my continuous trials and tribulations I was devoted to an idea (to varying degrees of lucidity depending on psychotic or not.) The idea that I didn’t have to subscribe to esoteric schools of mystery to learn these principles of reality, but instead glean new knowledge from exploring self via strategic art through the alchemical process and inner Revolution. Using code as the unit of expression within the mediums I’ve enjoyed for years—hip-hop, visual art, literature—I wish to embody the mystic who shares his knowledge and studies with a radical mythology and alchemy, the GOLDMAZE my algorithm for deciphering my very own philosopher’s stone, theoretically speaking. This is a healing art, a revolution science, and an evolution code.

{To be a Seeker}

I define myself as a relentless Seeker of solutions… I want to find solutions for psychosis, for war, for revolution… not for the sake of “solving” them but rather for navigating them as realities in this distorted yet dense modern era, and my methods for navigation lie within my art, mythology, and philosophy. I am a Seeker, like all those who find something of value within my work. We don’t find relief in the half-answered questions, half-baked assumptions about the world and our place in it. We’re searching for something both mysterious and concrete, something lasting and present, and that search is the driving force behind all that I do.

I’ve since named the thing, the ideal, that has become my North Star as a modern wizard, but that is a dispatch for another time… For now, just know that MAZISM subsists the steps I take on the path. MAZISM strives to be solace for the mad, the deluded, the visionary, but most importantly the misunderstood. To create a space where impossible configurations can be presented in rare design—that is my task as the Mazist—to challenge the convention and delightfully perplex the Mind and Spirit.

I love the color green. To me, it represents life, the heartspace, love, and the earth to a certain degree. It grounds me. Every time I see green I feel safe. I believe color is one of the gateways to the soul, truly. Fashion, design, fine art—they all have their place in society, in great part due to their mastery of color. Forms that give force to the emotions, worlds, sensations that we can’t place on our own. While I believe color is a key connector in this—emotion to form—I also believe that we’re often hijacked by meaning through the usage of color. We’ve been told what to believe about the color red, what emotion to feel when we see blue, what bias to have towards black. This extends beyond art and into media as an interface with the zeitgeist. I think sometimes color escapes the grasp of our comprehension and worms its way into our visceral reaction. This is a tried and true method of manipulation by campaigns, political and otherwise.

If you don’t make meaning out of what’s around you it will be made for you. I think a lot of people don’t want to work that hard, so the way of culture is to program that meaning. But, Seekers know what it means… to search for an anchor for our purpose—in the everyday and the bigger picture. The task is quite taxing. Meaning is elusive in our society, and finding it is being slowly replaced by exploitation. I see it in the manifestation grift mostly, as it is a hot topic to create your desired reality against all this confusion, tragedy, chaos—but a lot these influencers are selling fulfillment with the allure of their unique lifestyles. We’re not all meant to live the same way, for we derive meaning from diverse sources, but this programming is feeding us illusions. We have to take back our programming somehow, someway.

What’s my point? To introduce a concept that was one of the first steps in my own search for meaning. To create it behind a foundational process in my day-to-day operation—getting dressed. I realized that color is sly in how it frames our reality, how often we see color, use color, feel color. I thought to myself, I might as well reprogram the meaning behind my favorite colors, or better yet, remember the purest thought or emotion that connects me with the shades of my life.

The CHROMACODE is this experiment to attach depth to the colors I frequently place on my body. It goes a step deeper than mere coordination—the CHROMACODE is my personal list of colors that are each attached to a spiritual mantra of sorts. Lemme give a few examples:

• WHITE: pure, loving light of my Way

• INDIGO/PURPLE: How I feel I fit in a cosmic sense, highest in Spirit

• JET and MATTE BLACK: the Mind reaching for Serenity

• And GREEN means: One with God in the Heart

The hypothesis here is that colors are anchors for our spiritual body, that which carries our life energy, our emotions. When someone is angry they see red. When someone enters flow state, they black out. I wish to enter a more connective tissue with this spiritual body by taking meaning matters into my own hands. The CHROMACODE of the day is the deeper phrase I derive from the combination of colors in my fit. Each piece of the phrase is a node of deeper emanations from my Spirit.

And this is just one experiment to create my own meaning. If you take anything from this dispatch it’s this: there are elements of this reality that have been programmed for us, not by higher powers, but by manipulative actors. If you can find an element in your life to take meaning back from this external manipulation, then I’ve done my job.

This is first and foremost a practice in intention. Fashion with spirituality, style with presence. The phrases aren’t always perfect, and sometimes I am lazy with fits, but to have a system for chromatic meaning is prime self-programming for the conscious designer. It puts the key to my soul in my own hands.

MAZIST METHODS 101: CIPHERO Arcana and the LINGOS

In MAZISM, Arcana is the Force of Change within the universe. People can utilize this force through the ARCANE MEDIUMS.

Real quick::

THE ARCANE MEDIUMS:

KINESIO: The Medium of Movement

SCREPTO: The Medium of Icons

CIPHERO: The Medium of Code

SONOSOS: The Medium of Frequency

These mediums are practiced simultaneously in the minutia of the ritual, sigil, and spell work of arcanamen. Most arcanamen have a specialty medium called a FOCUS which acts as the anchor for the rest of the mediums to orbit around. For MAZE {WAYFINDER}, his FOCUS is CIPHERO.

CIPHERO, being the medium of code, can be very versatile for MAZE, particularly within the grimoires he crafts.

A little background to Arcana and the terminology used here:

In MAZISM, a “code” is an elusive, deep language. Where direct language gets the point across, code embeds meaning into a journey for the affected. For the Seeker. For MAZE {WAYFINDER} the lingos within his CIPHERO work are tactics, or rather routes for the Seeker to take to the core of the magic.

Another metaphor: the lingos are “grammar structures” for the larger language of his CIPHERO CODEX, the GOLDMAZE.

BREAKDOWN OF LINGOS [part one]:

• GRIM.MECH

  • EX. LOREWORK, MAZIST DISPATCHES, YOUTUBE VIDEOS

  • USAGE: to provide structure and context for the larger world and system of GOLDMAZE/MAZISM. Language here is almost conversational and ritual. Patterns and systematic thinking is prevalent as a function of the MAZIST philosophy. To see the life and death of this entire system and mindset through its structure and routine, in phases and cycles, where study and dialogue are key mediums to uncover new insights about the philosophy forming.

• HEARTFIRE

  • USAGE: Emotional resonance made ultimately clear by tone, diction, and rhythm. Speaks to the heart of the listener and reader. Lights an emotional response upon first listen and stays in the system of consumption as the emotions process within the creative/arcane contract. Uses imagery and narrative voice to create resonance with the desires, attachments, and laments of both creator and consumer.

• CHESSFIRE

  • USAGE: to play with the listener’s sense of knowing. To put forth coded language as if to strategize gnosis within the audience, like each code is a chess move in a match. The listener or reader must solve the underlying problem posed or inherent in the gap of understanding for the wisdom the piece is conveying. Uses symbols and words like chess pieces in the greater dialogue between creator and consumer. As the code interacts with the audience, it leaves an impression on the mind like fire in the home. Illumination and heat. In the same breath, CHESSFIRE can leave a listener burnt by the sheer confusion and seeming lack of clarity or straightforwardness.

• AVATARI

  • EX. BULLETPROOF PHARAOH, DEADSET, MAD SPHINX, DRACO TALK, GONZO, MANDO IN THE MIRROR, ST : X

  • USAGE: to invoke the Being of certain Forms and Roles as character archetypes evident in their grammar, diction, tone, and rhythm. To give the illusion of character for an expression of true ideals in their “natural habitat” per se. Invites the listener to imagine new models of cognition, new perceptions given form and name. Gives space to my philosophy for narrative development and further depth.

:VENOM:: THE LESSON OF FATE

We tend to see Fate as it happens to us. We are victims of Fate, beholden to Fate. Fate is a mystery that unravels in the inescapable now by way of the Doom we feel.
But Fate does not have to be this way. I think it is crucial to see it as it truly is. Not a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. It’s not the culmination of everything. It’s not the End of all things. It’s the curvature of our lives. Where things shift in the timeline. Where a small decision begins to snowball. Yes. The beginning of the culmination as well as the finale. The chance encounter plus the climax. Indeed, Fate is each point in the journey, the quest, that we may access the gravity of in the present.

I think we mistake Fate to only be perceived in hindsight, or worse in the imminent future of “Doom.” But Fate is a cycle ending and shifting to the next iteration. Fate is the rhythm established and tuning tempo to align with everything else. Fate is continuous. Tap into it in the moments you feel a shift—in energy, emotion, in narrative—and the gravity of life can create a momentum in your drive.

This is :VENOM:. THE LESSON OF FATE. What can be as small as a passing reflection—a fleeting acknowledgment—could be the power of Fate’s knowledge in your hands.

:VENOM: to embed Fate in the veins of Now, and to use its momentum towards the End you seek.

NOTE:: Work on practicing your old taekwondo forms, especially ones where balance is the key motif. {Koryo} could be a potential form to reference for a screpto sigil. I need to get my sidekick back.

The Scale of Transformation:: METAMORPHIC PROPORTIONS

METAMORPHIC - relating to rocks that have undergone a transformation due to heat, pressure, or other natural agencies.

We are all metamorphic at the end of the day. Not quite like rocks, but deeper, more impactful than rocks.

You see rocks, rocks are still, meant to be eroded over time. But we, as human beings, we live and expand, wither away just as much as we grow into new characters in the lives we lead. There is this spark of potential within us that is compounding with every second, every moment.

The scale of transformation—the rate at which we shift into higher, or lower versions of ourselves—is completely dependent on the resounding impacts we experience and create in our lives. You see energy moves, flows, transforms—never completely depletes. When your phone dies, its energy quite literally was spent in our resource, proof of the day’s effort, in the relays of information that sap our attention. I say that to say we are always transferring energy from one state to another. From the inner world to the outer. From the outer world to the inner. The impacts our efforts create, whether it be through dialogue, creation, our example, they transmit our energy outwards to create a field of effect. And the impacts we experience upon interacting with the world and those around us, act as a chisel to the energy we cultivate. We either expand or taper ourselves to become wholly new structures by the end of certain cycles.

Take stock of the metamorphosis you’re undergoing. Its scale depends on impact, no matter how small it may seem.

THE [MENTASCOPE]:

In the poem “Fear of Jaded Things”

I introduce the concept of the :mentascope:. The mentascope, in simplest terms, is the scene before you when you close your eyes. That expansive dark, that lens to the back of your mind. When meditating, I notice sometimes the mentascope shifts to the light just beyond the eyelids. I try to see what image the faintest aura of this light can produce.

A mirage of orbs. Petals of lumen.

The mentascope: the scope of the mental realm. When I was going through my second psychosis, I was afraid to close my eyes because the mentascope would reveal the silhouettes of nightmarish creatures just beyond my eyes. A terrifying hallucination, but in order to move past it I had to learn that the mind wasn’t the end all be all, its scope in my closed eyes was a trace of my fears. Funny, the mind isn’t the end all be all, but it be all in your mind, so I learned to move towards the light. Being within the body as an anchor allows stillness to ground you without the mind’s incessant noise, clutter. Darkness shows depth, it’s a part of a beautiful design. Learn to scope out the depths of the mind. The body always shows the truth, in time.

When you open a typical MAZIST DISPATCH, there’s a special, cryptic group of metadata included at the beginning of the document.

These terms are unique to the MAZIST system in their decryption of meaning upon understanding their mechanics.

THE UN.IO

Standing for USERNAME.IDENTIFYING OPERATION, the UN.IO represents the identity of the voice who is speaking in the document. Metaphysically, the term represents the identity that I take on within the realm my stories take place in.

[MAZE {WAYFINDER}] is the main character within the MAZIST Mythos, as he is the writer of the GOLDMAZE Codex. He is technically not* me, Christopher Crawford Jr., but the literary vehicle I use to write about concepts abstract and mystical.

The [SOLO.KNIGHT] UN.IO goes a level deeper, as it is specifically the identity operation of MAZE {WAYFINDER} to investigate the mythic realm of the world, which he currently does through a future version of Earth named Velderon. Every [CALLNO.] you see is like a character skin the SOLO.KNIGHT identity takes on in this alternate, more mythical reality.

[CALLNO.] is abbreviated for CALLNOMEN, the particular version of SOLO.KNIGHT that MAZE is calling forth within his codex.

THE LINGO

If the GOLDMAZE Codex is the entire body of work MAZE {WAYFINDER} completes in his lifetime, then the LINGOS are the arcane grammars and languages within the Codex. Now, I will elaborate on the different Lingos in another piece, but for now it is key to understand that each Lingo has a specific function on an arcane level.

THE TEMPO

The TEMPO can be considered the general pace or energy MAZE or SOLO.KNIGHT is adopting during the actions, events, thoughts of the document. The TEMPO can be a reflective, introspective, dark, manic, or even lunatic energy, but really the comprehension of the TEMPO on the part of the reader is meant to deepen perspective into the mind of the character… The range of Tempos is generally unknown.

Wanna tap into the Force?

The real Force... the real magic of the world. The secret mechanism of the universe.

You see, what people consider magic has an underlying principle...

It transforms something ordinary into something extraordinary.

Whether it’s a spell of otherwise inconspicuous words and movements or an amulet made out of a particular stone, in a particular shape... the magic working within these things is a mechanism of transformation.

What we think* is the spell or amulet doing the work, is really the emotion and belief behind the transformative power of their symbolism.

MAZIST PRINCIPLE:: Arcana is the Force of Change within Reality.

The same Force that makes a flower or person grow into something starkly different from their origin. The same Force that speaks across art and media to ignite action in the individual and masses. The same Force that causes both minute and massive changes in society.

It’s not some woo-woo concept meant for wizards and sorcerers. It’s not an abstraction too mysterious to handle.

ARCANA is a very real force that slowly moves humanity in its revolutions, one person at a time. It is a force that people have harnessed to a myriad degrees.

Some use its mechanism to manipulate and exploit, others use it to build and inspire. Both don’t go far enough. It is my mission as THE.MAZIST to reclaim ARCANA as a universal mechanism that our present and future generations can utilize for healing, for revolutionary growth.

If this lights something within your heart… if this resonates in your mind… know you’re not alone. I am neck-deep in a life-long practice of the Arcane Force. Created tomes of frequency, spell, and sigil. Built whole creative communities. Reached the darkest depths of my mind. Experienced homelessness. All to come back to home, love, and light with a reinvigorated spirit, bent on being the change I want to see.

So, if you do decide to follow the thread, know you are invited to a world of true magic—ARCANA. Just as much mad science as it is magic, I want to stress the experimental nature of this project. I don’t have the ultimate answers, but I wish to include the weary Seeker on my own journey of solving the mysteries that plague me as a person, of creating change as a means to heal.

The Phoenix Wraithshard feels cold.

The Sun’s Ghost, its living power source, must be tense about something.

I don’t know where this sensitivity to the car came from, really. Could it be the training? Endless routines running through operating phrases? Orientation with the wraithshard did not include anything about the emotions of the Sun’s Ghost.

As a power source, the Ghost is more :Abstract: than chemical or engineered.

The brainchild of the [TEMPO STATE] KUBLO department… It’s a mechanism of nuclear power, sentient intelligence, and channeled operation. I understand its operation and the nuclear energy that powers said operation—the intelligence is more elusive, however. This coldness is unlike the wraithshard. Usually, the azure glow of the interior emanates a warmth that holds me and the vehicle, as the Ghost creates a channel from one timeline to the next. I can even see my breath. Damn.

I shiver violently, looking side to side at the kaleidoscopic view with slight franticness, and I muster a couple words: “What’s… wrong?”

The holographic dashboard of the wraithshard clears itself of bips and displays a single phrase: .HE JUST WENT [DEAD:SET].

The onset of Fray confusion is potent at the sight of the codeword. No way. I have to know what that means, right? Yo… ain’t no way orientation forgot something this key! I center myself like muscle memory. The Sun’s Ghost’s response was immediate, clearly this is the next mission, or something. A MANDO? From my four previous MANDO opponents, I’ve gathered that MANDO of all shapes and sizes referred to their hometime base, and their “peers” as the {SET}. DEAD: SET… he must’ve defected.

I adjust myself in the seat, the cold surfaces are starting to numb my edges. The message deletes itself in my dashboard and is replaced with another: .HELLO BY THE WAY.

.I RESPOND WHEN NEEDED, WITHIN THE FRAY I AM SEEDED.

The wraithshard’s interior turns a mint-turquoise in glow as warmth returns to the car.

Well then, the Sun’s Ghost finally speaks.

The shivers subside as I sense a space opening up within my META. It feels roughly like a foreign thing in the element, like a rock thrown in a still pond.

My mental element is fixated now, like a homing missile edging nearer its target.

• :META:: THE MENTAL ELEMENT OF THE FULL-BODY DYNAMO OF ARCANA.

DEAD:SET, displayed like a banner across the dark, seems to grow larger in the cavernous echo of my mind. The remaining cold of surfaces is now a numbing buzz against the flesh, and my body withers away to focus on the TEMPO of this mysterious MANDO.

My heartbeat is rapid. 12121212…

My mental element expands to accommodate the DEAD:SET banner, which is now shaded a deep red, almost garnet. The META considers all angles of this designation, then expands larger, including a luminous aura that frames the vastness of the mental space in Stark Light.

The :LITO: METASEA? This new presence is making itself known in sharper waters it seems. What specifically could the MANDO want from the :LITO:?

• :METASEA:: The METASEA can connect all five senses of the body in tandem with each other to other similar networks as a consciousness meganetwork. Collectives can share insight, sensation, and experiences with a compounding intensity depending on the number of individuals in the network and nature of the bonds.

Concerning its value in and of itself, sure, the operative could find it appealing. But this currency… and its holders… they act as a force of greatness. Beyond just good and evil. Beyond whatever :DARKSYDE: dictates of its alignment. The :LITO: is a gateway to massive revelation for whoever touches the coin. Great Dark and Great Light both find their canvas within the :LITO:. The METASEA of all the currency’s carriers is a brilliant source of clarity, not really a space I frequent… Nevertheless, this MANDO could be a threat to the coin’s integrity. Purity is key. Such is why I can’t hold onto it for long. Oh well, to the Fray we go.

• I’m MAZE. I world-build through hip-hop, methodology, and philosophy. Today I’m breaking down one of my key principles: Expressive Encryption.

  • Now with this principle: each unit of expression—a song, a single word, a character—is intentional in their encryption of meaning within the entire project. Understanding just one piece of the code begins to unlock the rest from obscurity.

  • By encryption I mean: I design work so the parts reference each other—motifs, terms, phrases, characters—until the entire project becomes a decipherable system.

  • The purpose of this principle is to cultivate a deeper engagement with both the creative process and the exploration of meaning behind the work.

    • And this concept, “Meaning,” is something that I find very fragile, because anyone can project any idea or understanding on the art you make, but with Expressive Encryption, the right people will find you and better yet, uncover the deeper easter eggs you leave behind.

      • It’s not about dictating what the art means to someone, but adding another layer of depth for those who truly search for what resonates with them.

KINGSIGHT MEANING:

Though my physical sight has always been bad, throughout my life I’ve noticed a tension between what I see in the world and what others see. Sight, in this case [I think], feels like a source of meaning that can define who we are as people in a sense.

“Can’t you see me standing here?”

“Can’t you see how that’s inconsiderate?”

“Can’t you see where you messed up?”

Sight can define you into a corner if you’re not careful.

My favorite memory with sight was the first time I put on glasses, seeing trees in their emerald glamour of Spring.

My least favorite… seeing my sober-home roommate shapeshift into a sprawling spider in the psychotic dark.

Lemme be frank… truly, psychosis has had its way with my sight. Stretching it. Magnifying fears and distorting pleasures.

But I am healing now. Now, my sights are on the distance, surely closing in on my dreams, convictions… my vision. My sight is now on what I can make of myself.

As a man, what is the value of who I am… optics of dominance, faux mastery of a land.

Nah… I want a domain of Self, where I’m okay in my skin, and my home is calm even when patience wears thin.

I want to be King… metaphysically so. Not to dominate over subjects but to be my own Source of presence, grounded… taking ownership of Self…

and what it has built.

:KINGSIGHT: is the Sense of Inner Wealth. It’s a gift.

The Power of Silence:

Silence offers space. I’m not talking about sonic space, not spatial space. But mental space. Them caverns in our minds echo with silence. When we take the time to meditate, why is it so hard at first? The thoughts we thought were safe in the background of our days become the foreground right behind our faces. Distraction tests us with silence. Clutter finds place in the space we make in silence.
But stand firm against the waves of mind that wash ashore in silent tides, and we become strong structures. Towers, fortresses, bridges, monuments to the patience we build in time. In this dying age of information, we need silence more than ever, monuments to our increasingly fragile stability. So enter silence well, and pace yourself.

METHOD TO TRY: when you feel disjointed, distracted, overwhelmed… make an effort to sit still and without extra stimulus. Feel your breath for 10 seconds. That stillness is the beginning of a structure. Moments like that are few and far in between… cherish them as worthwhile practice, in self-architecture.

However you’ve come across my blog, I welcome you. I am Christopher, the Mazist.

Now you may have this question one way or another when interacting with my work: what is MAZISM? What is the purpose of this blog?

I’ve long thought of ways to “explain” myself to you all. But I’m learning to tell my story more, rather than my reasoning or worse, excuses. Y’all deserve that much.

[HOW I STARTED]

Well... I started this journey---with art, with music, with an obsession with the mystical---because I felt like I was on the periphery of life.

On the edge, at the border, just outside the lines...

My interests were too surreal and abstract to find grounding with my family and friends. My inner world was often loud and dense. The outer world kept trying to put me to use. Whether in school or in extracurriculars, I was performing in order to quiet the perception that there was a missing link in my life. A hole. A path hidden from me, and I was the butt of the joke. The world didn’t have what I was looking for, and I felt behind all my life thinking I didn’t belong here.

Music helped. It made me feel like a hero in a montage, or a baaad mofo who never moved off, just moved exactly as they wanted.

Writing helped. Journals and unfinished drafts were explorations of my sense for fantasy, my desire for new words, new magicks, new characters---that which gave my actual world the color it missed.

The symbols, icons, and characters of the media I consumed gave me a home in my over-complicating mind, and every early attempt to create tried to capture that feeling. You know? The feeling that you could simplify your questioning, your complexity, by creating answers that made sense to you, even if others didn’t get it.

In time, I built a world from these answers that could include my passions---music, writing, visual art.

A system where every piece could live and breathe.

[WHAT AND WHY—MAZISM?]

MAZISM is not meant to be dogma but rather a personal, creative mythos and philosophy.

I know my tone in some of this year’s pieces can be a bit too formal, too exacting, but this truly is meant to be a collection of experiments... like the mad science I dreamed of when I was younger.

Within it concepts, characters, and narratives coexist and fuse in unexpected ways. Through these different projects I’m learning that this... metaphysical... realm of MAZISM connects the dots of my often scattered mind.

And where does this “scattering” of the mind come from? I know I’m not the only one who feels it. You could say it comes from the internet--I know I would. You could say it comes from the increasing disillusionment we feel towards society’s systems and structures--I think the true answer is really a sequence or fusion of the two.

MAZISM, while not complete yet, is my attempt to find order amongst the scattering. To place questions on the right mysteries and document the journey of solving them.

If you feel this scatter in your own mind... If you have an itch for big questions and no easy answers...

If you feel like your life has been a search, let MAZISM be a home where your seeking can practice navigation. You see, MAZISM is a continuous experiment for the Seeker. If you’re traversing life with mere pieces you picked up along the way, know that I’m right there with you. MAZISM is like that, curating and creating from the influences around us, making something new with the diamonds that catch our eyes—something to remind us where we’re going and where we’ve been.

Being the Mazist is a practice of navigating Self against the oppressive structures, demeaning systems, and elusive mysteries we see in our world. What you read, see, and hear on here are devices: new archetypes and models for a continually complicating reality.

Being the Mazist is not a position, but an oath to the Seekers of the world, that I will share the keys of my own search---through thought, symbol, prose, color, design, and verse---we will navigate this Maze together.

This year marked the beginning of the Dispatches: essays, reports, monologues, and art pieces exploring the depths of MAZIST mythos and philosophy.

One of my goals this year was to produce consistently and with variety, and I think I accomplished just that. Now for 2026… I want to interact more with you, my readers. I will show my face more often, ask more questions, and key you into this world I’m building more and more. As we interact, worlds will grow and conversations will open up new pathways, and I hope a community can form from the exchange.

Expect videos, artwork, livestreams, and weekly conversations in our subscriber chat. I’m so grateful for all 109 of you that have stuck with me this year, so allow me to open up and give y’all more in appreciation.
