Important Dates to Note for Virgo Season 2026:

• August 22: Sun enters Virgo

• August 25: Mercury enters Virgo

• August 28: Full Moon partial LUNAR eclipse in Pisces

• August 31: Jupiter in Leo trine Saturn in Aries

• September 10: Venus enters Scorpio, Uranus retrograde in Gemini, and a New Moon in Virgo (also, my birthday!)

I also think the trope of being a perfectionist has been exacerbated by society’s current decision to shame and blame rather than accept and accentuate. If we look at the origin of Virgo, she was represented as Astraea/Demeter: the Maiden to goddesses of justice & truth (Astraea) or agriculture (Demeter). During the mythological Flight of Astraea, Astraea was the last immortal to leave Earth, only being flung into the sky as the constellation Virgo once humans became wicked during the Iron Age, never to return to earth. This established Virgo’s symbolic tie to an unachievable moral purity and deep disappointment with imperfection as Astraea had lived amongst the humans during the peaceful Golden Age period, but her dissent represents the moment “when justice (Astraea) left the Earth”.

Redefining Virgo Season in the Modern World

In modern Astrology, we know Virgo to be one of two signs ruled by the planet Mercury (communication, technology, travel, networking, ideation), the other being Gemini. Her season arrives in late August during harvest season. Virgo’s job was to place and sow seeds so that there would be enough food and nourishment. If her job was not done properly, it would lead to starvation. That level of pressure is felt in nearly everything during Virgo season or for those with Virgo placements. Almost like an energetic epigenetic code.

What if we started to look at the very particular and intentional energy of Virgo through a lens of gratitude rather than judgment? Could we start to notice spaces where we can apply more of that pressure in our own lives, or simultaneously acknowledge where we’re holding ourselves and others to too high of a standard, and that these things are often not life-or-death?

My advice for these next few weeks:

• take “personal admin” days to catch up on the pile of bills, mail, unread texts and emails

• finally responding to the person you’re secretly crushing on but giving little attention to

• hiring someone to clean, or putting on a good playlist and getting to all of the dusty nooks and crannies

• going to therapy, women’s circles, workshops, classes, and social spaces where you feel safe enough to lean on other people rather than shouldering life on your own

• cleaning out your closet, purging your home, getting rid of clutter to have more space for new energy and blessings to arrive

• tending to yourself first: hair, nails, skin, teeth, health appointments, acupuncture, proper supplements, natural fiber clothing, spa visits

• less screen time, more time in nature

• diving into your spiritual practices in a practical way (a.k.a. no ritualized manifestation til post-eclipse season, after August 28th)

Polish Your Mirror: What a Virgo is Truly Like

During the coming weeks, we will all be pressed against this future-focused, diligent, responsible, and meticulous energy that starts on August 22 and sticks with us until September 22 when Libra season begins & Virgo season ends. I like to think of these four weeks with the same sentiment shared by Ram Dass: life is lived most clearly when we unmask our true nature, move past the illusions of the ego, and live from a place of unconditional love and presence… a.k.a. polishing the mirror of your spiritual heart.

Think about it, Virgo comes through as the sister sign of spiritual, dreamy, poetic, romantic Pisces. How are these two alike? How could Virgo who is often spoken of as the anal-retentive organizer. Bored, annoying, bland… But to me, Virgo finds magic in the mundane. The ones who have a breakthrough epiphany while mopping the floor. They channel the unseen, mystical realms by getting into the minutia of our material world. As a mutable earth sign, we also have to give Virgos much more credit for being open-minded, flexible, and adaptable.

As a Virgo myself, my friends in L.A. dubbed me “Carmen San Diego, because we never know where in the world you’re going to be”. I have my location shared with my closest friends and family now to avoid this issue with the people who need to know my whereabouts. I also lovingly have my chaos piles strewn about whatever home I’m occupying; my hotel rooms look like a bomb went off, with the closets and drawers rarely ever being used during my week-long stays.

All of this to say, Virgos in the modern realm tend to be people who are more focused on:

• helping others than themselves (often to their personal detriment)

• untangling the metaphorical necklace chains with precision and patience

• covered in compassion (and oftentimes some notable identifier like tattoos, piercings, an odd hair cut or color… and always turned on by odd identifiers in others)

• deeply thoughtful and intentional people that have to work hard to keep their eyes focused on one thing… or person

• Struggling to finish tasks to completion before feeling the urge to go start something else

Sleeping in the same room that I slept in from birth to 22 has been a trip, especially throughout the Summer 2026 Mercury Retrograde, which I shared about back in the Cancer Season horoscopes:

Seeing my 200lb, labor-worker father (who doesn’t shed tears or openly discuss his emotions) tap along on his chest to the beat of every one of Noah Kahan’s songs at the Fenway concert series I surprised them with tickets to for two hours straight was heart-wrenching enough. Hearing him break down a few weeks later after my cousin had shared with us that my aunt & uncle still text her goodnight every night with tear-filled eyes: “I never want the way that we talk to each other to feel like a “have to”, I have so many “have to’s” in my life already... But I want you to know that I love you more than anything. I think of you every single day, Meghan Rose” was enough to send me into orbit.

My dad and I have the same Saturn placement (I was born during his Saturn return in Pisces back in ‘94) - we’ve been deeply, and karmically fated to learn from each other since my birth… this retrograde helped me to finally see the way I was pulling in other karmic connections that danced in the same way, and allowed my shame spiral to exist, unchecked, for over 30 years now.

Friends who took me under their wing, gave me their hand-me-down clothes, treated me like a pet or a house plant, just to spit vitriol when I started to stand strong on my own two feet, grow tall, or thrive without their puppeteering.

Romantic partners that were inappropriately older (21 when I was 16, 46 when I was 22) who would ask me to play the role of live-in girlfriend, always-available intimacy partner, free-to-me therapist, child and mother.

I’ve devoted my life to the sweet sickness of shame, feeling some sort of completion from letting someone else put me into a cage like an exotic bird, plucking my feathers out one by one… and I would let them. How good it felt to serve a purpose in someone else’s story rather than trust that I could write my own, on my own. Almost like shoveling sugar into your mouth and expecting to feel nourished. I was sick on shame, so deeply drowned in it that my conscious thought was “I don’t think I know what shame feels like, because I’ve never felt it before”. When it reality, I had never taken a single breath without shame covering every inch of my skin.

That’s where the nodes come into play, Aquarius’ eccentricity setting free Leo’s shame.

Important Dates to Note with the Nodes:

• December 2007-August 2009: the last time the nodes were in this position (North Node in Aquarius, South Node in Leo)

• May 9, 2017-November 6, 2018: the last time the nodes were on this axis, but flipped (North Node in Leo, South Node in Aquarius)

• July 26, 2026: The Nodes re-enter North Node in Aquarius, South Node in Leo

• March 26, 2028: The Nodes shift, entering North Node in Capricorn, South Node in Cancer

Releasing Shame, Embracing Authenticity

In astrology, the North and South node move in a constant retrograde pattern, with the North Node seemingly shifting backwards (counter-chronologically) through the zodiac with each of its transits. The Nodes, however, are not planets or objects, they are instead mathematically-equated “points” along the moon’s elliptical path. We answer to them for two separate things:

North Node:

• Purpose

• Fate

• Destiny

• Higher-calling

• Your Soul’s purpose

• Lessons you need to learn

• New, hard, and sometimes scary things that propel us forward

South Node:

• Comfort

• Karma

• Familiarity

• Lessons we’ve already mastered

• Things we’re ready to expel

• Old habits

• Things/people/themes you’re used to from your past

• Past life energy

This pairing of the North Node in Aquarius and South Node in Leo is collectively giving us a chance to work towards the high-vibrational energy of Aquarius and release, utilize, and master the lower-vibrational energy of Leo. For each, I see:

Aquarius (embrace): authenticity, eccentricity, community, rebellion from broken systems, for the betterment of all rather than for select few, technological advances, humanitarianism, philanthropy, observing rather than performing, original or unconventional life paths

Leo (release, master): Ego, self-absorption, gaudy displays of beauty or wealth in an out-of-touch way, vanity, needing outside validation, desire for fame, royalty or a pull to undeserved or dictatorial rulership (*cough cough*)

But this is not a total disregard to Leo’s energy. Instead, I see the South Node’s placement helping us understand the tools we’ve already sharpened and encouraging us to UTILIZE them. So embracing how we’ve done enough self-help book reading, and it’s now time to get out there and SHOW people how brave, bold, confident, powerful, secure, talented, and skilled you are! The SHOWING is important here; I see the next 18 months being much more about actions rather than self-isolated rabbit holes into information. As Colin stated on our latest Star-Crossed podcast episode: information only gets you so far, to which I vented about the infiltration of art with generative AI… We have to be willing to release ourselves from the belief that AI is here to stay, that we have to adapt, that we have to give in. The non-consent culture that AI is built upon (“don’t fight it, you can’t stop it”) sounds a bit r*pe-y if you ask me… Maybe as a society we use this 18-month window to support local artists? And art? And one another? Who’s with me?

Understanding Your Own Nodes of Destiny & Karma

The important thing to note is that the nodes shift signs every 18 months, and they return to the same point every 18.5 years, and a nodal opposition happens roughly every 9 years… You can use your own birth chart as a great example to understand this.

Only those closest to me have known up until now that I have two great fears in this life: giving birth, and going incurably, helplessly crazy.

A friend and mentor shared a video with me recently featuring Terry Temptest Williams (a fellow writer, as well as a fellow Virgo). In the video she shares the same sentiment. She says in the video in response to the host’s question “what’s something you still feel you need to prove to people?” to which Terry replies:

“That I’m not crazy… because I think when you live on the edge, and when you see things and feel things, and are as porous as I believe we all are, I’m just aware of my own porosity, I think - people think you’re crazy… and I think as women who have certain powers - we all have powers - and I think we all tamp them down so that we’re not too big. We’re not too much. We’re not too smart. We’re not too sensitive. So I think just being a woman in a mysoginistic culture, I don’t know if we have to prove that we’re not crazy, but we’re always being asked if we are. It’s not about proving, but it’s understanding that people will say “Well, it’s her. She’s having a vision again, or she’s had some “peak experience”, or a mystical experience… It’s not anything special. It’s just if we pay attention, if we are in love with the world, if we recognize the power of an ant. We’re not crazy. We’re just alive. So I think it’s just proving to people that we’re alive”

I guess both of my big fears are rooted in losing control. Letting this meticulously strung-together life - that my Ego thinks that I created - start to unravel. I’m scared that no one will help me when I really need it.

For the first fear: When you’re about to give birth, you can’t back out. There’s no alternative option to what’s about to happen. Even if you prepared perfectly for 40 weeks, it could all go terribly, horrendously wrong right in the final moment. My fear here reiterates: even when you do things perfectly, there is still another party at play, and you can’t dictate what they bring to the table. The Universe is full of surprises - but why not start anticipating positively about what the Universe brings? What other people bring? What life brings to you..?

And as for losing control of my mind, I guess what gets stirred up in me there is that I’ve had to learn how to take care of myself, my home, my life, my finances, alone. Precisely as I want them. All aspects cared for so deeply, tenderly, meticulously without receiving any input… but also without receiving help. So if I can’t think for myself, or speak, or correct everyone as they try learning the sequence in which I take my supplements, which side my hair is parted on and how to work with the cowlick that’s sat atop my head for the last 31 years, to shave certain parts of my body that I’ve never admitted I need to shave, or which of my sides I like to sleep on when I have a stomachache, or even that I have a stomachache as often as I do…

What would happen?

How would the Earth keep spinning if I couldn’t focus all of my attention on each tiny, unimportant detail with so much clenching happening in my body that my shoulders yearn to reach up and graze my earlobes?

We all arrive to the peak of summer’s heat after each of our worst fears get dug up during Cancer season. Every deep and bitter emotion we’ve buried on the ocean floor at the bottom of our hearts rises to the surface..

And that’s exactly when Leo season arrives, grabs for our tightly clenched fists, slips her golden fingers in between each of ours, and yells out “let’s dance!” before whisking us away onto the sun-drenched dance floor that she calls life.

This is a time when confidence is built through taking action, and connecting with what and who makes us feel alive… even if it’s intense, hot to the touch, or uncomfortable at first. Fixed signs (people with Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius placements) may feel a powerful nudge to create, lead, and claim their place in the world. Leo season reminds us that our true radiance comes from generosity, giving, and being loudly ourselves, not validation from other people… This season brings a collective invitation to let joy become a spiritual practice! • July 23: Mercury direct in Cancer, 16 degrees (Mercury retrograde ends!)

  • Most impacted signs: Cancer, Aries, Libra, Capricorn, Gemini, Virgo

  • Themes: Mercury finally stations direct in the sensitive sign of Cancer, bringing the summer 2026 Mercury retrograde chapter to a close. Clarity re-enters the chat after a period of emotional reflection, family conversations, and revisiting old memories. If you were able to take accountability, apologize, and be sensitive to yourself and other’s issues… you’re probably doing quite well. If you sat in Ego, did all the same old sh*t, and treated yourself and others callously during that chapter, welp. You’re not out of the woods yet lol.. Conversations around belonging, safety, home, and emotional needs will now be able to finally move forward. During Leo season, this Mercury transit will help us understand what our hearts have been trying to communicate beneath all of the noise. • July 26: Saturn retrograde in Aries begins (here til December 10, 2026)

  • Most impacted signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, Aquarius

  • Themes: Saturn retrograde in Aries is here for a few months to get us to look closely at the relationship we have between independence and responsibility. The lessons of this transit are not about moving faster, they are about moving with intention and FOCUS. Old motivations and commitments may come up for review. Will you continue to say “yes” to these things? Renew the contracts? This is revealing where we have all been forcing movement in a certain direction & trying to go faaaast instead of building sustainably, step by step.. (or as we say in Italian, “piano piano”). During Leo season, this Saturn retrograde reminds us that confident movement forward without any discipline is temporary gains, temporary bliss, temporary highs.. but building something with patience gives it the chance to be solid and long-lasting. You can build patiently while still being independent, motivated, and excited about the outcome.

• July 26: North Node enters Aquarius (South Node enters Leo) til March 2028

  • Themes: The North Node enters Aquarius and shifts the collective direction toward innovation, community, technology, and new ways of belonging. The opposite South Node is in Leo. This is a karmic invitation to move beyond individual recognition and consider what we are all creating together. Leo season highlights personal expression, while North Node energy in Aquarius reminds us that our gifts become more powerful when they contribute to something larger than just money, power, or attention for ourselves. The fixed signs especially will experience a turning point around identity, friendships, networks, and future goals that need to be built. Let’s band together and heal the earth, our hearts, and our systems.. together <3

• July 29: Full Moon in Aquarius

  • Most impacted signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, Cancer

  • Themes: This Full Moon is always opposite to the sun, and when this lunation arrives it will reveal what has reached completion in community, friendships, social roles, technology, goals and our relationship with the collective. I keep seeing a shift in AI (more halting, more backlash, more outrage!!) while celebrity culture continues to fall. There may be an end to the reign of patriarchy, mysoginy, power, and global reach in a big way during the time of this Full Moon. Breakthroughs, awakenings, and major news about where we can no longer ignore what needs to shift/evolve is imminent. Especially with the North Node in Aquarius, too… Where have we been seeking applause when we actually need authenticity? (Social media, influencer culture, mass overproduction..). A chapter in society may close so a more aligned future for all of us can begin. Especially around belonging and the people who truly support our growth, so make conscious choices here in your personal life.

• August 3: Chiron retrograde in Taurus (til Sept 17th, when Aries rx begins)

  • Most impacted signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius

  • Themes: Chiron retrograde in Taurus helps with healing wounds around self-worth, security, money, income, pleasure, luxury, and the body. This transit gently reveals where we have confused having more with being more, or where we have measured our value through external stability. During Leo season, our heart is asked to remember that self-worth is not something we only build or feel when we have achievements or milestones met, it is something that we can get and feel when sitting still, doing nothing, BEING nothing.. Healing these wounds comes from slowing down, reconnecting with our senses, being present, and rebuilding trust within ourselves.

I found myself on a press trip out to Ibiza last week, surrounded by talented, interesting, beautiful - yes, but more importantly layered human beings. Being out of your daily routine and surrounded by people you’re unfamiliar with is a sure fire way to get hyper-present. Asking yourself unconsciously: who am I when my life, story, and identity only exist in this moment depending on how I present it?

We ended the trip at BLESS Ibiza The Site with their grand opening party, full of opulence, live music, well-dressed attendees, and endless spicy margaritas. After the sun started to set, one of the women asked me how living out her Italian lover fantasy was going in Rome...

As much as I wanted to clam up and explain to her that dating since ending my engagement has felt like more of a reckoning with my subconscious beliefs, inherited Catholic prudence, and Egoic qualms about learning a new language and saying silly things like “ti piace” when I mean “mi piace” in the heat of the moment, I chose to tell her about my on-call lover that comes over just to kiss.

Everyone turned into giddy thirteen year olds, myself included, while I talked about how he arrived this last time finger over his lips, and insisted we don’t speak for the first ten minutes after he arrived - just straight to the couch, silent, and both sweaty from the Mediterranean heat waves of the early summer. We fell to the floor and rolled around on my new, silk-soft carpet, laughing and taking breaks to stare into each other’s eyes. At one point he sat in one of my arm chairs and I stayed at his feet on the floor, resting my head on his knee. Often being met with a long glance from up above that followed with various groans and sighs.

Everyone hears each detail of these stories and goes, “you seriously didn’t f*ck him right then and there?”

No. I often tell him it’s time to go when the heat is turned up the most.

The tension, and passion, and messiness of it all has made me feel so alive. And it’s exactly the type of energy that the next year is going to be filled with… for us all.

I’ve been dressed in freshly-tailored designer clothes, I’ve had my hair and makeup done professionally, I’ve had abs, I’ve had my mile under 6 minutes… But I’ve never felt more sexy than the moments where my make-up is melting off from dancing all night, sweat dripping down my cleavage from walking around all day in the Italian sun, waist creases deepening after belly laughing, making elongated eye contact that almost feels embarrassing it’s so intense, eating a ripe peach over the sink, or leaning over to refill my cup mid-week on a night out with good friends - because how f*cking lucky are we to be here in the first place?

Sexy to me is pure bliss, ease, surrender, presentness, and vibrating with joy.. and Jupiter in Leo is about to deliver this messy, juicy, goodness on a golden platter straight to your doorstep.

Jupiter in Leo: A Time for Joy to Return

The last time that we experienced Jupiter (the planet of expansion, luck, fortune, abundance and wisdom) in the sign of Leo was from July 16, 2014, to August 11, 2015. Think about what was going on in your life at this time…

From a cultural standpoint we had “Uptown Funk” topping the charts, Kim Kardashian’s Break the Internet magazine cover, the death of Robin Williams (one of the greatest of all time in film and comedy), wildly viral content on Vine and Instagram, the global ALS ice bucket challenge that expanded into news and TV beyond it’s ethos on social media, the online debate over "The Dress" (it’s 100% black and blue, by the way), Rihanna’s ANTI album, Coachella culture, and sayings like "Netflix and Chill" starting to shape not only our daily language, but our dating habits as well.

The Jupiter in Leo transit is ushering in confidence, passion, drama, flair, a nudge towards self-prioritization but mostly JOY. Leo, ruled by the sun, asks us to lighten up, let loose, and love life again from June 30, 2026-July 26th, 2027. Some of my predictions for this upcoming 12 month cycle are:

• Joy returns to dating - people feeling confident enough to approach one another again, grand gestures, and activities like dancing, concerts, and party +1’s

• Music becomes more light-hearted and fun again - don’t get me wrong, I love Noah Kahan (as shared in my Cancer season horoscopes) and Charli XCX the famous Leo who brought us Brat Summer now switching up and crooning “Spring/Summer 2026, when the world is gonna end, no hope for anything, yeah we’re walking on a walkway that goes straight to hell, nothing’s gonna save us, not music, fashion, or film”…

• Fashion starting to break away from “clean girl aesthetic” and get the glitter, gold, yellows, oranges and reds back out from the back of the closet! In 2014-2015 we had space buns, pink hair, full beat make-up, flash tattoos, and HEART.

• Living instead of watching other people live - getting off of social media, going outside, striking up conversations with strangers, reading books, making art, singing, dancing, kissing, feeling f*cking ALIVE again.

• Cult classic films and media universes - last time we had this transit 2014-2015, Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World, and The Hunger Games were dominating the box office. Not my taste, but I can’t say they were culturally irrelevant. We can expect more of these mass-following media booms again over the next year.

In a world that’s fallen into a pattern of avoidance and emotional suppression, Cancer season arrives and asks you to put your guards down (please) and get real with yourself, others, and the world around you about how you’re actually feeling under the façade.

Cancer season arrives on June 21, which is also the mark of the Summer Solstice (a.k.a. the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere). To me, this day acts as an important reminder that no matter how much we want to shut down and numb out into the darkness, the universe is asking us tenderly to shed light (literally and metaphorically) today on what we’re feeling, wanting, yearning for, and desiring…

It might be Cancer energy already creeping in with Mercury and Jupiter sitting in our cardinal water sign. It might be the New Englander in me... But I have had Noah Kahan’s new album, The Great Divide, on repeat for weeks now, hitting the deepest depths of despair and emotional turmoil humanly possible before realizing I still have things to get done on my to-do list and forcing myself to turn it off. A masterclass in heartbreak and nostalgia, each track touches on something you want to avoid:

The pure innocence in Orbiter, reminding us that we’re all just children at our core, looking to someone else for a sense of approval and safety, no matter how big or “important” our life gets.

The aching pain of loving someone while grappling with emotional unavailability, avoidant attachment, and self-sabotage in Doors.

Struggling with strained familial dynamics (specifically with siblings), childhood estrangement, neglect, competing perspectives on the past, and a yearning to reconcile in Willing & Able.

The acknowledgement of the gap between two people who used to be close as their lives continue to go in opposite directions in The Great Divide.

This song is a gut punch every time you scream-sing: “I hope you settle down, I hope you marry rich. I hope you’re scared of all the ordinary shit. Like murderers and ghosts and cancer on your skin, and not your soul and what he might do with it / I hope you’re with someone who isn’t scared to ask. I hope that you’re not losing sleep about what’s next. Or about your soul, and what he might do with it”

..and as someone born and raised in New Hampshire (Kahan’s neighboring state), I saw this from countless people around me. The settling. The misalignment. The inability to open up to even the closest people around you, but clinging and committing to whoever was near, so long as it meant you didn’t go through any of those bitter winters alone.

All of these themes feels so deeply interwoven in the fabric of Cancer season, a period of the year marked with:

• Nostalgia

• Yearning

• Childhood wounds

• Emotional Healing

• Family Dynamics

• Deep emotional processing

• Self-care and self-protection

• Family of origin vs. chosen family

• June 21: Sun enters Cancer

  • Most impacted signs: Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, Libra, Leo

  • Themes: After the whirlwind of Gemini season, life begins asking for something much softer from you. Cancer season is not interested in how productive you are, how impressive your resume looks, or how many people agree with your choices. This season wants to know whether your life actually feels good to live. Themes around home, family, emotional security, belonging, healing, and vulnerability rise to the surface now. You may feel more nostalgic than usual, revisiting old memories, reconnecting with people from your past, or realizing that certain wounds still need your attention instead of continuing on with avoidance, numbness, and stoicism. This is a season of tending to your inner world first. Not because you’re broken, but because you’ve grown enough to stop abandoning yourself whenever life gets tough or busy. What you need to nurture becomes impossible to ignore. What drains you becomes harder to justify. Pay attention to both.

• June 28: Mars enters Gemini

  • Most impacted signs: Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces, Aries, Scorpio

  • Themes: The pace picks up dramatically during this transit. Mars in Gemini can feel like having a hundred browser tabs open in your brain at the same time - exciting, productive, inspiring, but mostly overwhelming. Motivation is stoked by curiosity rather than consistency, which means you may find yourself chasing new ideas, projects, conversations, opportunities, and possibilities while letting go of habits and patterns.   • Themes: Mercury retrograde in Cancer asks you to revisit what you've been feeling but avoiding. This isn't the chaotic retrograde of missed flights and broken technology that social media loves to dramatize. This one is deeply emotional. Conversations from the past may resurface. Old relationships, unresolved family dynamics, childhood memories, and emotional patterns you've worked hard to move beyond may unexpectedly return for review. If someone from your past reaches out, the question isn't necessarily whether they belong in your future, it's whether you've truly learned what they came to teach you. Communication may feel more sensitive than usual. People are speaking from old wounds rather than present circumstances. Be patient with yourself and others. Some answers aren't meant to arrive immediately. This retrograde is less about moving forward and more about understanding why you've been carrying certain emotional stories in the first place.

  • Themes: Jupiter entering Leo is MASSIVE. The last time we had this was 2014-2015, and think about how sexy, fun, free, and honest that time felt… this feels like someone turning the lights back on after years of dimming them. This transit begins a year-long cycle of confidence, creativity, visibility, self-expression, romance, leadership, and learning how to take up space without apologizing for it. Collectively, we'll see larger-than-life personalities rise, a new of “famous”, and people chasing joy, celebration, artistry, and individuality after years of heavier, more introspective energy. • July 1: Jupiter in Leo squares Chiron in Taurus

  • Most impacted signs:

  • Themes: Chiron entered Taurus back on June 19th, kicking off a new 7 year cycle of wounds, insecurities, and pain that allows us to tap into our purpose. If you’re not familiar with Chiron, I highly recommend reading my latest post about this asteroid in your own birth chart. This square between Jupiter (expansion, luck) and Chiron (wounds, insecurities, inner healing) is offering us a chance to see where our self-doubt is holding us back from true abundance and the ability to luxuriate in our present day reality. Where are you saying “once I hit x goal, I will feel x emotion!”. Let that shit go.

• July 7: Neptune retrograde in Aries (4-degrees)

  • Most impacted signs: Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn, Pisces, Sagittarius

  • Themes: The fog creeps in… just to be cleared out. Neptune retrograde often reveals what we've been romanticizing, avoiding, projecting onto others, or refusing to see clearly in our lives. In the bold sign of Aries, this becomes especially individualized to us all. Who are you really beneath the personas, ambitions, expectations, and identities you've accumulated over the years? Some people may experience disillusionment around leaders, influencers, spiritual teachers, parents, authority figures, or even aspects of themselves they've built entire identities around. You’re replacing this fantasy with a much harsher reality: YOU and only you are in control of this life you’re living. Not society, “important” figures, or rules that have been set in place. Be careful not to force any answers into your life too quickly. Any illusions falling away were never as solid as they felt or appeared. Trust that whatever or whoever remains after the illusion leaves were true and meant to stay.

• July 9: Venus enters Virgo

  • Most impacted signs: Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius, Taurus, Libra

  • Themes: Love starts to be consistent, courteous, slightly mundane, but really intentional and thoughtful during this time. Important connections become more private and calm, but the ones that are here to last become significantly more meaningful. Venus in Virgo isn't interested in grand gestures without follow-through. You will notice yourself and others wanting consistency, effort, reliability. Connecting with friends and lovers who just get you. Someone who remembers how you take your coffee and checks in that you got home safely. Relationships begin shifting away from fantasy and toward real, honest connection. You'll notice clearly when people show up and where they fall short. This transit can improve partnerships dramatically because it helps us focus on what actually matters rather than what simply looks romantic from the outside. Financially, this is also excellent energy for budgeting, planning, and making practical improvements that create long-term stability. A Powerful Summer Solstice Ritual

I recently took a fire-safe plate, made a ring of salt, a ring of coffee grinds, a ring of cinnamon, and a ring of dried rose petals from a bouquet I had received months prior.

I placed a rose quartz in the middle of the plate with two white candles on either side of it. I drenched them both in honey, sprinkled more cinnamon upon them, and set the intention to bring me and my dreams together without harm to myself or anyone else. Once I lit the candles, I took two bay leaves, and inscribed two very important wishes on them, and burned them each leaving the ashes along the bottom of the candles.

When I tell you that I’ve never seen such a dramatic candle ceremony, I mean it. The flames shed black soot on my wall. The candles fell onto one another, wicks burning over an hour later… to the point that the plate made a loud pop. I tried to put the flames out with a metal baking pan to no avail. I lifted it, to see a burn mark in the corner and immediately got sodium bicarbonate to douse the flames. Candle wax spewed onto the wall, my desk, and the floor. The mixture cemented itself together overnight to the point that after I retrieved the rose quartz, I gave up on the rest and threw away the plate and all of its ingredients. Summer is here, it’s starting with a bang, and I trust that no matter who or what tries to get in the way of me and my dreams, they will fail to no avail… a new reality is here. Become a part of it.

Juno’s Original Story in Mythology

Jupiter is the Roman equivalent of the Greek God Zeus (king of the gods, and ruler of the sky). He was beloved by all, and extremely powerful, but also had a notoriously wandering eye - even going so far as to step out of his marriage for a mortal woman named Io who he later transformed into a white cow to hide the affair from his wife, Juno. Juno is the Roman equivalent of the Greek Goddess, Hera (queen of the gods, and the fierce protector of marriage and women), and her sacred symbol is the peacock. So when you find Juno in your birth chart, you’re getting to the core of your approach to marriage, devotion, and partnership.

Juno in Astrology: Love, Marriage & Deep Devotion

It’s common to hear about Venus in astrology when you’re looking to understand love, flirtation, and desire. Mars for sex, chemistry, and motivation to pursue someone. However, Juno as an asteroid often gets overlooked. Her position (sign and house placement) in your birth chart can tell you about your view on long-term commitment, marriage, and true partnership. Welcome to Gemini season, my Star-Crossed lover! Gemini season is an intense pendulum swing in the opposite direction of Taurus season. From May 20-June 21, we will have the opportunity to align with and embrace Gemini energy; dynamic, fast-paced, communicative, ever-changing, and multi-dimensional. Gemini energy is often hard to understand because it moves so quickly. Gemini is mutable air, ruled by Mercury… a.k.a. fast, on top of fast, on top of fast.

We ended Taurus season with Mercury (Gemini’s ruling planet) meeting up with Uranus in Gemini on May 17th. We haven’t had Uranus conjunct another planet in the sign of Gemini in over 75 years, and this was a perfect precursor to Gemini season. Think about what happened for you on this day and what lessons or ideas you can take away from the experience. Personally? I nearly broke my toe trying to mount a two-legged desk to the wall in my studio. I spent the remainder of the day elevating my leg, icing my toe, FaceTiming my nurse bestie back in the states, getting a drop-in from another friend here in Italy with pain meds, and diving down rabbit holes for financial optimization (ironic as Uranus is sitting in my 2nd house for the next 7 years). I can imagine a lot of this (rest, community, and finances) are going to be major themes over the next few weeks for me… So again: what did you do on the 17th? Gemini Season 2026 Transits:

Each of the “most impacted signs” listed indicate placements that are most impacted. I tend to say if you have personal placements in any of these signs (your sun, moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus or rising sign) you can count yourself as one of the most impacted.   • Most impacted signs: Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces, and Leo

  • Themes: Life is going to start moving again… and fast. Taurus season asked you to sit still long enough to hear your inner voice and get in touch with the world around you without rushing. But Gemini season wants to know what you’re going to do with everything you’ve just realized. This is a season of movement, conversations, curiosity, connection, and honestly… a little bit of chaos if you’re not careful with how you’re wielding this energy. Your attention might feel fleeting, but there’s magic found in following all of the metaphorical breadcrumbs. Synchronicities abound this season. A single conversation can change your perspective, or the entire trajectory of your life. A random DM, one night out, one idea scribbled into your notes app in the middle of the night. All of these seemingly inconsequential moments can end up altering everything over the next few weeks. Stay open-minded. This is not the season to isolate yourself or pretend you have everything figured out already. Get curious! Be a student to life! Gemini energy thrives in discovery. Ask more questions, change your mind, and admit when something no longer interests you (or aligns with the person you’re becoming). You are allowed to evolve in real time - moment by moment!

• May 31: Full Moon in Sagittarius

  • Most impacted signs: Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, Pisces and Cancer

  • Themes: This Full Moon feels big, spiritually and culturally. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter (which is in its final degrees of Cancer) and that energy expands our intuition and emotions, so expect truths, realizations, endings, or opportunities to suddenly feel. Our inner reality will be impossible to ignore under this Full Moon. Something in your life is being outgrown, and you won’t be able to keep this bottled up any longer. This could look like finally admitting you want more from your relationships, your career, your life… or realizing you’ve been settling because it felt safer than risking disappointment or experiencing rejection. But this Full Moon doesn’t really care about “safe” externally. It cares about creating safety internally from being honest. You may feel restless under this Full Moon, craving freedom, meaning, adventure, or just a break from the routines and expectations that have been weighing you down. There’s a difference between stability and stagnancy, and this moon is going to make that distinction very clear. Be mindful not to overpromise, overreact, or burn your life down impulsively just because you’re craving change. Not every uncomfortable feeling requires a dramatic exit. Sometimes things just need a new perspective. Sometimes a new reaction (or lack thereof) is the safety and self-security you’ve needed.

• June 1: Mercury enters Cancer

  • Most impacted signs: Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, Libra, Gemini and Virgo

  • Themes: Conversations become more emotional, intuitive, and personal. Mercury in Cancer doesn’t need surface-level exchanges or transactional energy, it wants pure, raw, vulnerability, and words that actually mean something. You might find yourself thinking more about the past, your family, your childhood, your emotional needs, or the people who genuinely make you feel safe to be yourself in the present moment. Communication softens during this transit, but emotions can also become more reactive if they’re not being processed before they’re being shared. Be careful not to expect people to read your mind. Hinting, withdrawing, or becoming passive aggressive won’t get your needs met nearly as effectively as simply saying what you feel, want, and need. Easier said than done, trust me I know! This is beautiful energy for reconnecting with people you love, deepening emotional intimacy, journaling, therapy, healing work, or conversations that help you better understand yourself. Your heart will be trying to speak louder than the ego right now. Sit with it, and let it be heard <3

• June 12: Uranus in Gemini square North Node in Pisces

  • Most impacted signs: Gemini, Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius

  • Themes: This transit feels unsettling because it is disrupting everything. Tension between logic and intuition, facts and faith, what we can prove vs. what we feel. There’s a lot of unknowns being ruffled during this transit. Uranus in Gemini is already shaking up our information, communication, media, education, tech, and the way we process reality as a whole. But squaring the North Node in Pisces adds a layer of collective confusion, illusions, spiritual v. reality, escapism, and honestly… people realizing that the systems they trusted might not actually have their best interests in mind. This is a transit where the collective timeline feels very obvious and odd. Sudden news, major technological shifts, changes in global conversations, transportation, cross-cultural issues, trends & Internet usage, AI, and how the younger generations communicate all feel exaggerated around this time. Personally, you may feel torn between overthinking every detail and completely dissociating from reality because it all feels too much. Stay grounded - not paranoid, but not naive either. Grounded. You are learning how to discern what’s true for you instead of blindly following who or whatever is loudest.

• June 13: Venus enters Leo

  • Most impacted signs: Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, Cancer and Libra

  • Themes: Sexy! Delicious! Flirtatious! HOT! Romance gets bolder, more expressive, and a little dramatic now. Think Romeo and Juliet. Think The Notebook. “I WAITED FOR YOU!”. Venus in Leo wants to be adored, appreciated, chosen openly and enthusiastically, not left wondering where things stand. Relationships during this transit tend to feel more passionate, creative, playful, and heart-centered, but there can also be tension around pride, validation, ego, or people wanting attention without offering genuine vulnerability in return. This energy reminds you that love should feel fully alive. A reminder that you’re not meant to shrink yourself into being “easy to love”. You’re meant to be seen, and appreciated, and celebrated for the miracle that you are… and be willing to walk away from anything or anyone that doesn’t make you feel that way. Creatively, this is an incredible transit for putting yourself out there, sharing your work, dressing more confidently, changing your look, posting the things! flirting! taking up space! Stop acting like visibility is inherently embarrassing. The right people will celebrate your light during this time instead of trying to dim it. And if someone makes you feel embarrassed, hard to love, or discarded during this transit, believe them the first time and slam the door shut… dramatically lol

• June 14: New Moon in Gemini

  • Most impacted signs: Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces

  • Themes: The New Moon in Gemini brings forward a reset button for your beliefs and the way you interpret the world around you. New ideas, conversations, connections, plans, contracts, or perspectives might begin popping up quickly now. The key during this transit is to stay flexible enough to grow with others (and the world around you) rather than needing every detail mapped out before making a move. Gemini energy thrives in movement. This is not a time to cling too tightly to old narratives about yourself and especially not to project these onto your future. Set intentions around connection, projects, learning, community, social media, travel, education, or anything that requires your curiosity and adaptability. But also… slow down enough to hear your own thoughts underneath everyone else’s opinions. Gemini can absorb so much external noise that it forgets its own voice sometimes. Not every distraction deserves your energy. Not every opportunity is aligned. This New Moon is asking you to become more intentional with where your attention goes, because your attention is your power now more than ever.

  • Themes: Chiron entering Taurus begins a years-long healing journey around self-worth, survival, security, finances, your body, the Earth, and what it means to feel safe in the world. Chiron transits can feel subtle at first, but its lessons are profound over time. I just wrote about your Chiron placement being the key to finding and living out your purpose. During Chiron transits people begin reevaluating their relationship with the theme of the sign; this time, in Taurus, it will be work, productivity, financial stability, ownership, beauty standards, food, rest, and their physical health during the years ahead. Collectively, this points toward healing some of the deep wounds around scarcity, capitalism, false/euro-centric beauty standards, body and facial dysmorphia, overconsumption, and class consciousness that have convinced people their worth is tied to how much they produce for someone else’s benefit. On an individual level, this transit may expose where you’ve been settling for less because part of you believed that was all you deserved. Ouch. But awareness is the beginning of healing. In Astrology we have several planets, houses, and signs that can be interpreted into a blue print of sorts, helping us to align with success, love, money, fame, and purpose in our lives. However, diving even deeper into the asteroids can help with more specific “life quests”, such as turning your wounds into wisdom. That’s exactly what the asteroid Chiron is here to help us with.

Chiron’s Original Story in Mythology

First discovered on November 1, 1977, Chiron is an asteroid that orbits the sun between Saturn and Uranus. Now a “minor planet” rather than an asteroid, and named after the centaur, Chiron (or Kheiron in Greek mythology). Chiron was known as one of the wisest and most fair of all centaurs. He was known for helping the youth, for his knowledge with herbs, botanics, music, art, archery, and prophecy. As information and imagery of Chiron traveled from ancient Greece to Rome, many inspired Roman artists started to focus on Chiron in their artwork with elements that insinuated he had nobility, and even divinity in some pieces. The Education of Achilles (pictured above) is one of the most common Roman depictions of Chiron, shown teaching Achilles how to play the lyre (a golden, U-shaped harp).

Abandoned at birth by his mother, Philyra, Chiron went on to become an incredible healer, astrologer, and oracle, as well as the first centaur who was highly revered as a teacher and tutor. His life path was starkly different from other centaurs, who were typically lusty, violent, and overindulgent.

Chiron in Astrology: Healing & Overcoming Your Pain

In Astrology, finding Chiron in your chart can help you to understand your deepest wounds that you came onto this earth with. As seen in Chiron’s origin story, his life began with rejection, pain, and abandonment. However, he took his life and overcame a dark beginning by learning, teaching, and ultimately transmuting his pain into power.

I always come back to the quote from Kendrick Lamar, “Successful people aren't the most talented, they just refuse to give up”. Maybe the reason this resonates so deeply when we discuss Chiron is because Lamar has his natal sun in Gemini conjunct his Chiron in Gemini. As someone with natal sun conjunct Chiron myself (both in Virgo), there is a very real reality with this placement where your identity (Sun) is deeply tied to your initial struggles and limitations (Chiron).

Lamar struggled with a stutter in his childhood (Chiron), yet ultimately became one of the most famed rappers and lyricist in history (Sun) — both the stutter and his lyrical mastery both deeply tied to the themes of communication and self-expression (Gemini). Take Kendrick Lamar’s example as a guiding light with Chiron: your pain points, and the ability to sit with them, can transform your life over time, and lead you to your life’s purpose. Healing your wounds - rather than identifying with them and feeling limited by them - will ultimately lead you into a life full of purpose.

Welcome to Taurus season, my Star-Crossed lovers! Taurus season brings such a reprieve from the chaos and intensity of Aries season, especially with that once-in-a-lifetime pile-up of Aries planets. Who’s feeling the burn?? But with Taurus season here, we get a calm, earthy, grounded salve to bring us back to baseline. Now is not the time to burn yourself out, but to light a cozy fire and enjoy each moment of your life more slowly, presently, and deliciously.

By the 18th of the month, we have the sun, Mercury, the moon, and Mars shifting out of that hot, brash Aries energy and into Taurus energy. I’m not trying to share this in an “Aries is bad, Taurus is good!” way, but the world is quite literally…

• over-heating

• burning (did you see the warehouses + Billionaire Molotov cocktails in the US?)

• at war (a la the US and Israel for selfish gain at the expense of others)

• dropping new seasons of Beef - the anger-inducing Netflix series

• being subject to arguments or starting them

..with all of this Aries energy. A pile-up we haven’t seen since 1821. So Taurus season comes with a warm (but no longer scalding hot) welcome.

Taurus energy to me is like a womb: warm, cozy, and nourishing. It’s slow moving, almost like we’re floating, but really we’re surrounded by real, tangible goodness. Taurus’ energy creates LIFE without needing to rush or move quickly.

It’s important to see how you react to that kind of invitation to slow down. Do you fight it? Or surrender to it as it arises? I’ve noticed that people with prominent Taurus placements often do not like to be rushed, pressured, or convinced of how they should be operating. Taurus = fixed earth… slow + slow. They are sensual beings that enjoy all five of their senses heightened in delicious and delectable ways - their way. Often overstimulated and aggravated if they are misunderstood, it’s important to be both patient and attentive to those with Taurus energy in their chart… as well as yourself throughout Taurus season.

  • Themes: Life slows down, but slow is not meant to be boring. Instead this is a chance to feel your life again, presently. You’re being asked to get honest about what is sustainable, what actually feels good to maintain in your life, and to take inventory about what you’ve been forcing just to keep up with everyone else’s cadence. This is a season to return to your body, your values, your money, and your time. Not constantly running out (or away) from all of it. If something feels off, you won’t be able to ignore it anymore. This chapter of time is about choosing quality over quantity, even if it means letting go of something (or someone) that once felt exciting but no longer feels like a fit.

• April 24: Venus enters Gemini

  • Most impacted signs: Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces, Taurus and Libra

  • Themes: Attraction starts to feel lighter, quicker, more curious… maybe a little chaotic if I’m being honest. You’ll feel drawn to conversation, wit, mental stimulation, and connections that feel alive rather than heavy. This is where you wake up to the fact that chemistry is not solely physical; it’s intellectual, it’s timing, it’s banter that flows effortlessly.. it’s stuff (and people) that can’t be found just anywhere). But be mindful of distraction disguised as connection. Not everything that feels exciting is meant to last. Let yourself explore, flirt, talk, and connect, but take note of where depth is missing. The right connections will meet you in both places.

• April 25: Uranus enters Gemini (MAJOR)**

  • Most impacted signs: Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces

  • Themes: This is the beginning of a long-term shift in how you think, communicate, learn, and connect with the world around you. However, as an outer planetary transit, this is more felt globally than personally. Uranus is the king-maker or king-topper. It’s sudden shifts, changes, and shake-ups. This won’t feel subtle. Your identity and your mental patterns are ready to be cracked wide open during the next 7 years. We’ve been dealing with Uranus in Taurus disrupting the tangible - the economy, production systems, our physical health with moments like COVID… So as much as this will be a major change, anticipate both undeniable positives AND negatives. This might feel exciting and unsettling at the same time - allow both to co-exist. You may start to outgrow old ways of thinking, old conversations, even entire environments (Gemini). Stay open. I predicted this time to be one of changing borders, names of places, leaders, and the potential for war back in 2024 on the Everything is the Best podcast - all of this seems true with “The Gulf of America”, Israel v. Palestine, The Straight of Hormuz, and now the US implementing its first automatic draft… what else will we see? This is not about having all the answers, it’s about being willing to question everything you thought you knew. Your life changes through information, conversations, and ideas now.

  • Themes: Something wants to come to the surface & you can’t ignore it anymore. Honestly, you’ve probably felt it building up for a while. This lunation is all about emotional truth: raw and undeniable. Where have you been holding on too tightly, or avoiding something that needs to be released? This Full Moon asks you for honesty, even if it’s uncomfortable. Scorpio’s energy likes the messy, gritty, shadowy parts of life. Power dynamics, trust, intimacy, money, control… all of it is up for review. Let something end if it’s ready to. • May 6: Pluto retrograde in Aquarius (5-degrees)

  • Most impacted signs: Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio

  • Themes: This is a time for deep internal work on a collective level. I see a lot of information coming out during this retrograde about the darkest parts of humanity and the systems that have allowed these things to transpire. Pluto retrogrades asks us to look at our relationship with control, power, and identity, especially in spaces where there’s been an image to maintain. Think celebrity culture, billionaires, government and politics, cultures where women, children, and the most susceptible are treated as objects without self sovereignty. Something is shifting beneath the surface now, and it might feel like you are being asked to release old versions of yourself in order to help the collective. Let it happen. I recently saw a TikTok of a woman who was a meth addict, and she found out that Nazis used to use meth in order to stay awake during the raids and war, and realized how inherently her behavior was rooted in white supremacy. There’s so much of what we do unconsciously that will be uprooted like this during this retrograde.

• May 16: New Moon in Taurus

  • Most impacted signs: Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius, and Cancer

  • Themes: This new moon arrives to offer us all a grounded new beginning around what you want long-term. This is not about quick wins or temporary fixes, this is about planting seeds that you’re willing to nurture over time. Goals around money, stability, self-worth, your body, your lifestyle. All of these tangible, rooted themes are connected under this New Moon. Set intentions that feel realistic but meaningful. You don’t need to rush into anything, but you do need to commit to something. Small, consistent choices will shape your future more than big, dramatic ones right now. As we say in Italy: “piano, piano”.

• May 17: Mercury enters Gemini

  • Most impacted signs: Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces

  • Themes: Things will start to pick up quickly during this transit. You may feel pulled in multiple directions, conversations happening all at once, ideas coming faster than you can keep up with. This is a great time for learning, sharing, writing, networking, presenting, sharing your ideas or projects online, but it can also feel overwhelming if you don’t ground yourself. I’ve clicked “not interested” on more videos than I’ve liked during my time scrolling. I’ve blocked everyone with the last name Kardashian or Jenner on all platforms. I’ve reported AI artists on Spotify. I’ve input tags for my algorithm to “show me more: personal essays, ceramics, poetry, artists, authors, anthropologists, sociologists, hobbyists, vintage fashion, farm animals”, and several other off-shoot interests. I’m trying my best to beat the great personality erasure of the 2020’s.

But it seems to me that to interact with the world means we must interact with sameness. Wearing something that’s trending creates a falsified connection with other people. It removes you from the “threat” bucket in a stranger’s head. When someone who’s wearing the same outfit as the influencer you both idolize on the Internet, you know what they watch in their spare time too! You know that they’re half-way to consumerism hell, just like you are! Praise be!

But this got me thinking…

Who does sameness benefit, other than all of the people around you?

What happens to you in the process of appeasing everyone else?

Where do you go when your choices have been overtaken by the algorithm?

And why does this phenomenon seem to be making everyone feel so alone and unworthy while infesting everyone’s psyche in equal measure?

My take: Uranus in Taurus.

But the only way to combat this incessant need for clean girl aesthetic, homogenous sense(s) of self, stoicism, lobotomy-chic era… is fast-paced, chaotic, Gemini weirdness.

Uranus in Gemini: Rediscovering Your Inner Weirdo

Since 2018 we’ve had Uranus - the planet of sudden shake-ups, changes, revolution, and individuality - in the languid, comfortable, and materialistic sign of Taurus. I believe over the last 8 years we’ve forgotten who we are as individuals in pursuit of convenience; over-priced, yet poorly-made clothing, beauty products, and accessories in order to be perceived as “in the know” by everyone around us. And I don’t say this with clean hands, but I have actively tried to fight against this with hobbies, reading, writing, shopping second-hand, keeping my natural hair, teeth, and breasts, not taking GLP-1’s, stepping away from friendships where I was quite literally asked to change my body, behavior, and interests in order to fit in, moving out of a looks-centered city, leaving my corporate job, and sharing about my interests.

Uranus is a planet that rewards eccentrics, those with unconventional ideas, and freedom chasers. So with Uranus in Taurus from 2018-2026: can you (or did you) fight against the urge to make your tangible, material reality, looks, and interests the same as everyone else?

But on APRIL 25TH, 2026 Uranus finally dips fully into Gemini.

We got a little taste of this transit back between July 7–November 7, 2025. During that time Wicked For Good came out, Oasis started touring again, Labubu’s and “Jet2Holidays” became an online craze. We were free! We were weird! We wanted to get our hands dirty, and cry, and sing! Jonathan Bailey was crowned sexiest man alive - the first time for an openly gay man. And it all makes me love how literal astrology is.

I love to describe Gemini as “Hermes incarnate” a la the words of my old When Stars Align podcast co-star . There’s something inherently so fluid, bisexual, unserious, and (more importantly) undefinable about Gemini’s energy. And when it rules over Uranus, what we get is sudden shake-ups and changes about the way that we think, the ideas we have (and keep up with), and how we define ourselves, others, and the world around us. I went on ’s podcast Everything is the Best and discussed 2025 predictions and when we chatted about Uranus in Gemini, I said that borders and how we define rulership of countries and people was going to shift. On an individual level, Uranus in Gemini (2026-2033) is going to gift more and more opportunities to those that can align with the chaotic, quick-moving, and unpredictable energy of Gemini. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, Mercury rules over thoughts, ideas, communication, networking, friendships and sibling relationships, neighborhoods, community, travel, and technology. It’s child-like, exciting, bright, and loud!

In which of those areas of your life can you step outside of the box a bit more?

Also: I led a comprehensive ASTROLOGY OF 2026 Workshop knowing that with every outer planet shifting, we were going to feel a real disruption to the reality we once knew and loved in 2026. But in order for something new to be born, it takes the old dying and making space for something we’ve never seen or experienced before. Hopefully, something that works for us all… but my hope is that instead of convenience culture over-taking what’s on the menu like some sort of energetic dog kibble, we all get a choice in what we’re being served. Welcome to Aries season, Star-Crossed babes! Aries season is the mark of a new astrological year, as the first day of Aries season (March 20th) is also our Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. As an astrologer, and a woman, winter is meant to be a time of rest, hibernation, and nourishment - not overkill. If you spent the last few weeks feeling tired, numb, low energy, emotional, or reflective, to me that indicates you’re in alignment.

I often have clients coming to me saying that they “can’t align with the transits!” but they also aren’t taking into consideration that retrogrades might not feel comfortable. Mars squaring their sun it might not feel relaxing… but feeling uncomfortable and strained could indicate that they most certainly are in alignment!

That’s why my practice is to help people understand astrology intuitively rather than rationally/logically. I left corporate finance for a reason, ladies and gents! I didn’t want to have to wake up at 5:30 and rush, and yell in the car, and look at men in Patagonia vests for 10+ hours. None of it was beautiful, or gentle, or luscious to me. My Taurus rising, ruled by Venus, didn’t like that life. That’s learning your own chart.

And as someone with an Aries 12th house, Aries season and Aries transits are harder for me than some of my friends that have charts primed for Aries season! That’s learning transits.

You have to learn astrology through your lens and create a relationship with your chart and the transits.

Aries Season 2026 Transits:

March 20: Sun enters Aries

• Most impacted signs: Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn

• Themes: The cosmic new year begins, and with the Sun strutting into Aries energy, things start to move. This is initiation, ignition, and that little inner voice that says “why not now?” getting louder than ever. You may feel a push to act before you feel “ready,” and that’s kind of the point — Aries doesn’t wait for permission, it creates momentum and figures it out along the way. If you’ve been sitting on an idea, a boundary, or even a truth, this transit nudges you (okay, sometimes shoves you) into action. The key here is courage over perfection. You don’t need the whole plan — you just need the first brave step, and the willingness to trust yourself as you go.

March 20: Mercury retrograde ends, Mercury direct in Pisces (8-degrees)

• Most impacted signs: Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius

• Themes: The fog lifts… slowly but surely. Mercury stations direct in Pisces and life feels less like flipping a switch and more like waking up from a deep sleep and lucid dream where you’re not entirely sure what was real, but you feel changed. Communication starts to flow again, but now with more empathy, intuition, and emotional intelligence layered in. You may finally understand something that confused you over the past few weeks… a conversation, a decision, a feeling you couldn’t quite name. Give yourself space to integrate before rushing forward. Pisces reminds us that clarity doesn’t always come to us logically, sometimes it arrives like a quiet nudge or a gut feeling that you can’t explain but deeply trust. Trust those moments.

March 29: Juno enters Aquarius

• Most impacted signs: Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio

• Themes: Commitment, but make it unconventional. Friends to lovers, forced proximity, long distance, virtual dates, meeting someone on social media. There’s a lot of tech/ “think outside of the box”/friendly vibes with this shift. Juno moving into Aquarius shifts our relationship dynamics into something more spacious, more honest, and a little less traditional. This is where “forever” doesn’t mean possession, it just means choosing each other over and over again, with freedom still sprinkled in. And that, to me, is even more special than the overplayed concept of soulmates. You may find yourself redefining what partnership looks like for you and your partner, whether that’s through clearer boundaries, deeper friendship being built within your romantic dynamics, or even questioning old relationship beliefs entirely. Who says men have to initiate? Who says you can’t fall in love with your bestie? Who says you need to date someone from your same background? There’s a desire here for authenticity over obligation. If something feels restrictive, it will become very obvious, and most likely implode. From there you can decide to rebuild differently or to let go. But if something feels aligned? It will feel like breathing fresh air after holding your breath for far too long.

March 30: Venus enters Taurus

• Most impacted signs: Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius, and Libra

• Themes: Slow down, soften, and savor it all. Venus in Taurus brings the exhale we didn’t realize we needed, relaxing all of our muscles, tissues, and organs…including each fold of our brain. Suddenly life feels a little sweeter, a little more indulgent, and a lot more grounded. This is about pleasure that’s earned, instead of feeling rushed and fleeting. Think: good food, cozy spaces, lingering eye contact, and the kind of love that feels steady and calming to your entire nervous system. Massages, and hand holding, and movie watching. Delicious and pregnant pauses in your life. Financially, this transit can also bring a deeper desire for stability and encourage you to make smarter long-term choices, without sacrificing enjoyment along the way. You’re learning that security and pleasure can finally co-exist in your life. Let yourself receive more. Take compliments, support, rest, abundance with a smile. Don’t question whether you deserve this (you do).

April 1: Full Moon in Libra

• Most impacted signs: Libra, Aries, Capricorn, and Cancer

• Themes: Relationship revelations incoming! This Full Moon brings things to light especially in the realm of balance, reciprocity, and emotional honesty. Where have you been over-giving? (Especially in hopes of manipulating the situation or not being left). Where have you been holding back what you feel to “keep the peace”? Libra energy wants harmony above all else, but you should not be doing this at the expense of your truth. This Full Moon in Libra arrives a moment of recalibration. Conversations that have been brewing beneath the surface may finally break through, and while they might be uncomfortable at first, these conversations will ultimately clear space for more authentic connection to occur. Think of this moon as a mirror. What you’re seeing in others is reflecting something that exists deeply within you. The goal of awareness isn’t to fix yourself and become perfect, it’s to create space for attunement with who and what feels actually aligned with you. You can’t get there wearing a mask.

April 9: Mars enters Aries

• Most impacted signs: Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn, and Scorpio

• Themes: Pure fire, pure drive, pure “let’s go” energy. Mars thrives when it’s in Aries. Expect motivation spikes, but also heavy bouts of impatience. You’re being asked to channel this surge of energy into something meaningful rather than making impulsive choices or scattering your energy across ten different places. This is incredible for starting new projects, setting boundaries, speaking your mind, and taking bold risks… but it’s less ideal for rational decision-making and brings potential for conflict or being reactive. Notice where you feel triggered during this time that’s often where your power is trying to wake up. Action will be a useful medicine right now, but intentional action is magic! In the first week of March, I’ve cried more watching Ryan Murphy’s Love Story than I’d care to admit. I laid in bed with my childhood best friend watching this week’s release, hand-in-hand, and looked up at her with tear-stained cheeks and asked:

My heart sinks watching each episode knowing we’re inching closer to the plane crash heard ‘round the world.

Looking at the infamous couple’s birth charts, there’s a Star-Crossed love story.

Both couples had major 1st house transits happening when they met. JFK Jr. had Jupiter in his 1st house, igniting a sense of confidence, power, and self in a new and more organized way. As Virgo is a mutable sign, we could also say his view of self was “changing” at the time (he was in a relationship with actress Daryl Hannah at the time, which would later end after meeting CBK).

Carolyn on the other hand had Saturn in her 1st house at the time the pair met, a transit that started a new 30-year cycle for her rooted in identity and long-term goals. She was notably against the idea of marriage and did not see herself being with someone in a traditional way before John.

His Capricorn stellium (Saturn, Venus, and Jupiter) was also being lit up by Uranus (the planet of sudden shake-ups and changes) and Neptune (dreams, intuition, and spirituality) stirring up his chart, while CBK’s 12th house sun was also being ignited by these powerful transits. But how did that initial meeting lead to marriage, astrologically? And why are we still talking about the connection now?

An Imperfect ‘Love Story’: Our Collective Lesson

One of my favorite monologues in the show thus far took place after Bessette-Kennedy and JFK Jr.’s widely photographed fight in Central Park. The two were seen arguing to the point of becoming physical. The lone matriarch of the family, Ethel Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy’s widow, and sister-in-law to the late JFK. In the show, she is depicted talking to Carolyn post-turmoil about how she was one of six children herself and did various things for attention, she says to CBK:

“I couldn’t be beautiful, but I could be special… til Jackie came around. Like Jackie you’ve been spared the dignity of the world’s indifference. You are noticed. And now it’s entirely up to you how you receive this gift, burdensome as it seems, with grace…

You will never be given the benefit of the doubt again. These men will break your heart, they’ll drive you crazy, they’ll make you want to scream. Don’t. The whole world will be watching you. It’s your choice what you want them to see”.

I had chills. To me, this monologue is a perfect depiction of what CBK & JFK Jr’s love story stood for, and what we all need to learn in today’s transactional reality: love is not meant to be perfect. It’s meant to be felt. It’s meant to be a sort of private training ground between you and a partner you love and trust enough to be truly seen with.

But if we keep searching for perfection (which is just a subconscious desire for safety) we will miss out on some of the most brilliant lessons and experiences that this life has to offer us.

The ability to feel and address our emotions.

I don’t think that love is meant to be perfect, nor do I think that keeping a constant “search for more” over the ability to experience true contentment and presentness accounts for a happy life.

Look at what has happened to so many people over the last Neptune (165 years) and Saturn (30 years) cycles. We have lost the ability to commit - not only to another, but to ourselves.

We forego feeling our feelings in pursuit of highs; dopamine rushes off of swiping, clicking, doomscrolling, buying, f*cking, drinking, snorting. It’s an endless, and empty cycle that most people choose over the ability to be embarrassed by love. To feel fully naked and seen by another. To allow the mirror of a relationship show you the ugliest, most hidden, honest, and ignored parts of yourself is to be brave. To me, that is being truly alive.

There is only so much we can learn, do, and see in this life on our own.

Maybe the Love Story between Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy and John F. Kennedy Jr. arrived just in time, almost 27 years later, from their demise on July 16, 1999 to the release date of February 12, 2026.
