The Lord is supernaturally holding your hand and leading you to the paths of peace, fulfillment and accomplishment.

From now henceforth your testimony is, I shall not want, I don't lack anything good, God is taking care of me.

He causes lines to fall for you in pleasant places and causes your feet to be enlarged under you.

However, he had one problem: he dreamed too loudly… my guy is too loud

If they don’t bow, block them.

He tagged his brothers.

His family shook their heads, his older brothers muted him on WhatsApp. One even removed him from the family group chat with the excuse:

Bro, this your dream talk is becoming oppressive.

But he didn’t stop dreaming, not because he was stubborn, he just couldn’t unsee what he saw.

The next morning, his boss calls him: Joe, please carry this keg and go buy diesel. The generator is coughing again. He will look at the diesel, then look at the dream, then look at your life and be saying, this old men don't want to see the young rise.

Joseph had no idea that the dream was true, but the journey was about to drag him through chapters that looked like punishment.

THE STORY WENT LEFT IMMEDIATELY

Joe story went left like Yaba left patient immediately because the same boy who was talking about stars bowing suddenly found himself inside a pit.

From pit to slavery.

From slavery to false accusations.

From accusations to prison.

From prison to silence.

Any normal person would have deleted that podcast episode from embarrassment.

But Joseph was different.

Even in prison, he still behaved like a tech bro who believed destiny had version updates.

He would sit on the prison floor, tapping imaginary keys and telling anyone who cared to listen: Chill. This prison is just a bug in the system. God is pushing an update.

The other inmates rolled their eyes, they didn’t understand that a dream that big doesn’t die, it waits.

Then One Day… Lagos-Style Suspense Entered the Story

Egypt suddenly had a major national crisis.

Not hunger, not war, not political drama, it's simply a system bug.

Something had crashed in Pharaoh’s administrative network…. A mysterious glitch.

A failure in the palace database, files disappearing, decisions stalling.

The entire kingdom’s workflow frozen like bad network during a Zoom meeting.

They tried everything, top engineers, foreign consultants even royal troubleshooters, royal servers behaving like NEPA trying their best.

Nothing worked, Egypt was sweating, Pharaoh was furious.

The Generals were almost peeing on their bodies because Pharaoh can kill them because of that.

It looked like chaos, until one of the Senior Special Advisers to the President gasped and said My Lord Sir:

Wait first, let’sout this thing on a straight line. During the last coup attempt, you mistakenly asked them to throw me into prison. I met one guy, his name is Joseph. He is tech genius, quiet boy, sharp brain, he fixed a similar problem with nothing but explanation and intuition.

The whole palace turned to him, where is he now?

The adviser swallowed, in prison, sir.

Pharaoh snapped, bring him out immediately.

And just like that, the door that refused to open for years suddenly opened on its own.

JOSEPH STEPPED INTO HIS OWN PROPHECY

He came out still wearing prison clothes, still smelling like confinement, still carrying years of disappointment on his skin, but with a mind as sharp as ever but he couldn't appear before the king smelling like the gutter. The took him out, had a nice bath in jacuzzi, they gave him a clean and nice hair cut making him look like a sharp man…

Here comes the most freshest foreign prisoner, they explained the bug. Joseph listened as though his life depended on it, then he solved it like someone changing a WhatsApp profile picture.

One fix, one explanation, one insight and the entire system rebooted.

Everything came back online.

Pharaoh stared, e choke !

And the Gen Z dreamer who once posted TikToks about the sun and moon bowing suddenly became the most important man in the land…

The suspense broke, the dream stood up, the prophecy clicked, the pit made sense, the prison made sense.

The suffering finally revealed its hidden logic but 13 years was already gone. Mind you, he had spent 13 years of his life seemingly wasted but God compresses time for the sake of men. That same day Joseph came out, he got beautiful wife, had a federal wedding, all bills paid, house in FCT, presidential convoy… from legedes to Mercedes Limousine…

Joseph’s life was exactly like when you’re driving in Lagos and Google Maps tells you: You will arrive at your destination in 22 minutes.

You believe it because you think you know Lagos. Then you miss a turn at Oshodi.

Suddenly you enter one strange street that looks like it was designed by a committee meeting that ended in confusion.

Kiosks on the road, block industry on the walkway.

Goats crossing like they paid rent.

LASTMA officers appearing like actors from a Yoruba spiritual movie yet Google Maps remains calm, cool and unbothered.

Rerouting… is what you hear

It already knew you would miss the turn, it already prepared extra routes, it already calculated all your stubbornness into the estimate.

God doesn’t panic, God doesn’t recalculate, God doesn’t say, Ah! You’ve ruined the plan. Let me start again.

He already mapped out every possible version of your life. The obedient route, the stubborn route, the broken route, the hopeful route.

The I know what I’m doing, leave me alone route and for each one, He built a way back to the best destination, if you’re willing to follow His guidance again.

That was Joseph.

Every wrong-looking road still led to the right destination.

HERE IS THE TRUTH

Sometimes you see the dream early but the journey looks like punishment.

Sometimes God shows you the destination but your life feels like Lagos traffic on a Monday morning.

Sweaty, slow, chaotic, noisy, annoying and smelling like smoke but God is not confused.

God is not recalculating, He already knows the route.

The dream is correct, your life is simply walking through the scenes that make the story unforgettable.

God got you covered.

Shalom!

Blessed be the Lord, who gives victory over and over again, who daily loads you with benefits, and who is ever willing to carry your burdens.

When it seems as though things are not going as planned or as you thought they would, be rest assured that God is never late and never too early. He neither sleeps nor slumbers. He is always right on time. Therefore, don't keep quiet. Keep speaking God's Word until you see all your answers manifest.

Shout for joy! Be glad!

Declare in faith:

The Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of I, His servant. The Lord is, and has always been, magnified in my life. GOD has sent from above, HE took me, HE drew me out of many waters.

For by GOD, I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

GOD has delivered me drink the strivings of the people, a people whom I have not known shall serve me.

Declare:

This is my season of Shalom: the season of all-round peace. As far as my life is concerned, there is nothing missing, nothing broken, and all things are working together for my good.

God's love has broken open the way for me. He has brought me into my beautiful, broad place. He has rescued me because I am His delight.

I have all that God has promised me.

I have joy unspeakable and full of glory.

My miracle and my bundle of joy have arrived.

Someone once asked me, "Sir, I read your article about the love of God. I have a question. Is there any difference between God's love for believers and unbelievers, or are we equally loved?"

That is one of those questions that seems simple until you begin to search the Scriptures. It also explains why many believers struggle to reconcile verses like "God so loved the world" (John 3:16) with passages that speak about believers as God's children, heirs, and beloved.

The answer, I believe, lies in making distinctions that Scripture itself makes.

The question is not whether God loves the unbeliever, the question is what kind of relationship does the unbeliever have with the God who loves him?

Those are two different questions.

Many times, we confuse God's disposition with man's position.

God Loved You Before You Knew Him

One of the greatest mistakes people make is assuming that God started loving them the day they got born again.

No.

Salvation is not God beginning to love you. Salvation is your response to the love God had already demonstrated.

Paul writes,

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Notice the timing, not after we repented, not after we changed, not after we became faithful, while we were still sinners.

The cross was not God's reward for good behaviour, the cross was heaven's answer to man's greatest need. That alone tells us that the unbeliever is not outside the love of God.

Then What Changed When I Got Saved?

This is where many believers become confused.

If God already loved me before salvation, then what exactly happened when I believed?

Everything changed, not because God's heart changed but because my position changed.

Think about it this way, a wealthy man walks into an orphanage, his heart is moved with compassion, he pays every expense necessary to adopt a particular child.

Before the adoption is finalized, does he already love the child?

Of course he does. Otherwise, he would never have begun the adoption process but can that child freely enter his house, bear his name, access his inheritance, call him Dad, and enjoy every family privilege before the adoption?

No.

The love existed, the relationship had not yet been established. The day the adoption is completed, nobody says, today this man started loving the child.

No.

They say, today the child entered into the family.

That is salvation.

God did not begin loving you when you believed. You entered into what His love had already provided through Christ.

The Difference Between Being Loved and Being Reconciled

This distinction is important, an unbeliever is loved by God.

A believer is loved and reconciled. The two are not the same thing.

The unbeliever is still separated from God, not because God hates him, but because sin has not yet been dealt with personally through faith in Christ.

Paul the Apostle in Romans 5:10 wrote to believers,

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Reconciliation is not God changing His mind about us, it is the barrier between God and man being removed through Christ.

Imagine standing outside your father's house because the door is locked. The problem is not that your father suddenly stopped loving you, the problem is access.

The Believer Enjoys What the Unbeliever Has Not Yet Received

This is where the real difference lies.

The believer is justified, the unbeliever is not.

The believer is adopted, the unbeliever is not.

The believer has the Holy Spirit dwelling within, the unbeliever does not.

The believer has peace with God, the unbeliever still stands outside that covenant relationship.

The believer can boldly call God, Father, the unbeliever may acknowledge God as Creator but has not yet entered into the intimacy of sonship.

This is why John the Beloved wrote in John1:12,

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Notice that Scripture does not say God became loving, it says those who received Christ became sons.

That is the difference.

Does God Love Believers More?

I personally would not answer that question with a simple yes.

Scripture never says God's love increased because you got saved.

Rather, salvation places you in Christ, where you now experience and enjoy the fullness of what God's love accomplished.

Think about sunlight. The sun shines over an entire city but if one person opens the curtains while another keeps them shut, the sunlight has not changed.

The experience has and that is what faith does. Faith does not create God's love, faith receives it.

Why This Matters

Many Christians spend years trying to earn more of God's love.

They think if they pray more, fast more, serve more, or perform better, God will finally love them deeply.

The gospel says otherwise, you obey because you are loved.

You do not obey in order to become loved, that changes everything.

A son serves differently from a slave, a slave works for acceptance.

A son works from acceptance, one fears rejection, the other enjoys relationship.

This is why the New Testament constantly calls us back to our identity in Christ rather than our performance for Christ.

CONCLUSION

So, does God love believers and unbelievers equally?

In one sense, yes.

His heart is genuinely turned toward the world. Christ died for sinners, not for people who had already become righteous.

In another sense, the believer now enjoys realities the unbeliever has not yet entered into.

Not because God suddenly became more loving but because the believer has been united with Christ by faith.

The difference is not in the size of God's heart, the difference is in the position of the one receiving that love.

The cross proves God loves the world.

The new birth brings the believer into the family that the cross made possible.

That is why the Christian life is not a journey of trying to persuade God to love us more.

It is a lifelong discovery of the love that has already been poured out in Christ, and learning to live every day from the security of being a beloved son or daughter.

Not all wounds leaves scars, some battles are invisible but their effects are long acting. Trauma, rejection, comparison, shame, fear, the voice inside that consistently says, you are not enough are not failures, they are simply battles for the soul and too often, the world cannot fix them.

I'll like that you read my article on ALREADY LOVED:THE GOD WHO CAN'T STOP LOVING before proceeding. It brings a perfect theological balance to the love of God and would be a good found for this article.

I want to start with one truth that will either anchor you or shake you: God loves you. HE LOVES YOU deeply, unconditionally and always.

Not as an abstract concept, not as a bumper sticker, not as a vague spiritual idea. This is the lifeline for the heart that has been mistreated, misrepresented, and even mistreated by itself.

WHEN LOVE FEELS ABSENT

One of the most devastating experiences is feeling unloved. Trauma, disappointment, betrayal, and failure whisper lies: God cannot love you, you are unworthy, you are beyond repair.

But hear me clearly on this matter, your pain does not outsize God’s love. Your trauma is not beyond His reach and those whispers of shame and fear are not reality.

Love is the currency of the Spirit. It is not given to those who “perform well enough” or “heal fast enough.” It is a gift to the hurting, to the broken, to the misfits, to the ones who feel invisible in the world but invaluable to God.

LOVE IS A PERSON, NOT JUST A FEELING

Many people confuse love with sensation. They expect God’s love to feel like goosebumps, tears, or thrill. That is emotion responding to circumstance.

Scripture doesn’t say God has love, Scripture says God is love.

Even on the cross, Jesus experienced rejection, pain, and separation. Yet the love of God remained constant. Feeling does not measure love, obedience, mercy, grace, and redemption demonstrate it.

TRAUMA AMPLIFIES LIES

Trauma does something insidious: it rewires perception. The mind begins to believe lies are reality.

Voices tell you, you are worthless.

Shame convinces you love must be earned

Comparison whispers, everyone else has it better, fear convinces you to stay silent but here is the gospel truth trauma is not spiritual failure, it is wounding and God specializes in healing the wounded.

Even Elijah, a prophet of fire, felt like giving up. Job wished he had never been born. David cried out to God in anguish. None of them were rejected, abandoned, or forsaken but God’s love held them.

SUICIDAL THOUGHTS ARE CRIES OF RESCUE

Let’s be real.

Thoughts of ending life are terrifying but often, they are not a desire to die in themselves, they are a soul screaming for relief, for help.

When your mind whispers, I can’t do this anymore, remember that God is not angry, He is near, He carries what you cannot carry, He does not leave the weary to struggle alone.

Love does not threaten. Love does not coerce. Love sustains.

GOD'S VOICE VERSUS THE LIE

God’s voice is life-giving. It may correct, guide, or redirect, but it never humiliates or terrorizes.

If you hear things like you are unworthy, no one cares about you, you will fail forever and many more derogatory statements are not God’s words. They are the echoes of trauma, fear, and the enemy attempting to hijack your perception.

LOVE IS PROVEN, NOT PENDING

Many live under the illusion that I must earn love, I must become better, I must heal faster.

Scripture says otherwise:

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Love is the starting point, not the finishing line. You are loved before you succeed. You are cherished before you heal. You are valuable before you prove yourself.

IDENTITY CONFUSION AND LOW SELF-WORTH

The greatest thief of joy is an identity not rooted in God. When you define yourself by trauma, comparison, or other people’s opinions, you will always feel small.

But Scripture already declared about you

Psalms 139:14 - I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

You are God’s workmanship

Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

You are chosen, known, and called.

You are not an accident. You are not invisible. You are not forgotten. Your life is divinely significant.

COMPARISON STEALS PEACE

The world will constantly say that someone else is better, faster, richer, smarter, more loved. Social media, family, community, even church can make comparison feel normal, and it is not.

Comparison is the enemy of contentment.

Your journey is unique. Your timing is divine and your path is not wrong because it is different. God custom-designs every life, and your season is yours alone.

HOW GOD HEALS

Healing is not always dramatic. It often looks quiet, ordinary, yet life-changing principles

1. Speaking truth over yourself consistently

2. Being surrounded by people who reflect God’s care

3. Spending time in prayer that steadies your mind

4. Allowing Scripture to rewrite lies

5. Sitting in silence where God’s presence restores your soul

Sit quietly. Place your hand over your chest, breathe slowly and say to yourself.

God, I don’t feel loved, but I want to believe You.

Read Scripture slowly, not to study, but to receive. Let it rewrite the lies you have believed.

Speak to your own heart:

I am loved, I am enough, I am chosen.

Do it daily, repeat even when your soul protests, repetition solidifies belief and love becomes tangible when your words align with God’s truth.

GOD'S LOVE IS UNFAILING

God’s love does not depend on your performance. It does not vanish because of trauma, it is not limited by your doubts, fears, or failures.

If your mind is heavy, your heart weary, your soul doubting, always remember that God loves you. Fully, completely and always.

THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF BELIEF

Believing God’s love is not just comforting; it is transformational. When you truly believe, you will see yourself through God’s eyes, not the world’s.

You will stop allowing shame to define your choices.

You will start taking your purpose seriously, free from fear.

You will learn to respond to life from truth, not lies.

The fact remains that true love liberates. Love heals, love restores and the God who loves you is relentless in pursuing your wholeness.

How does this verse speak to my heart?

Where in my life do I need to believe this more?

Write down one practical action you can take today that aligns with this truth.

Tip: Highlight key phrases that feel personal, and read them again before sleeping. Let the words echo in your subconscious.

Purpose: Shift from striving to receive God’s love freely.

How to Practice:

Sit quietly in a comfortable space.

Pray

God, I release my fear, my shame, my self-condemnation. I receive Your love freely. I open my heart to be healed, restored, and secured in Your love.

After praying, sit in silence for three minutes. Listen. Do not try to feel anything, just allow God’s presence to surround you.

Tip: Journaling after this prayer can help you notice subtle shifts in perception over time.

4. Mirror Work

Purpose: Confront self-loathing and practice seeing yourself through God’s eyes.

Example: I am not worthy of love → Romans 5:8, But God demonstrates His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

End your journaling with a short prayer, asking God to renew your mind and affirm His love.

Purpose: Strengthen awareness of God’s love by acknowledging tangible blessings.

How to Practice:

Each evening, write down three ways you experienced God’s love during the day.

It could be a friend’s kindness, a provision you didn’t expect, a moment of peace, or answered prayer.

Tip: Over time, this trains your heart to see God’s love in the ordinary, not just the extraordinary.

Jeremiah 29 has to be one of the fire chapters in the Bible. 🔥

P.S. All chapters in the Bible are. 😂

But somehow, we've narrowed Jeremiah 29 down to just verse 11:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you... thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Beautiful verse.

Now, allow me to gist you the background to that chapter.

Normally, you'd expect the letter to read something like:

Thus says the Lord, this time next week, I will deliver you from your captors. Rejoice evermore and turn up!" 🥳»

Instead...

Inside that same letter, God told them not to listen to prophets who were promising deliverance before the seventy years were complete.

In fact, God shepe(swear) for those prophets… Like seriously. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Then, right in the middle of all that, He says:

I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.

So romantic. 😭

God wasn't saying, I'll remove Babylon tomorrow.

He was saying, Even in Babylon, I haven't abandoned you.

Even though things may be looking funny right now...

Even though Nigeria may feel like Babylon...

Just know that God knows what He is doing.

Your life is not an experiment.

Do you know another interesting thing about that letter?

Not everyone was taken captive to Babylon.

Some people actually remained in Jerusalem.

You'd think they were the lucky ones.

They weren't.

Sometimes, the safest place is not the easiest place.

Sometimes, Babylon with God's promise is better than Jerusalem without His instruction.

At all times, ensure you are in the middle of the centre of God's plan.

One thing we must understand as Christians is this: We are surrounded by doors.

Doors don’t open because you shouted in tongues.

They open with keys. Each door have specific keys.

Plenty of these Christian sisters, why do you think Yahoo boys are the ones breaking their mouth and eating their work in the face of carton?( Translate into Yoruba to make the best of that statement You want to toast a sister you genuinely admire?

Step 1: PRAY

Yes, pray about it and be sure it's safe for your destiny... Not the one that would wreck your life.

Be sure she’s someone you can build a future with.

Step 2: LEARN

Read books. Watch good materials. Improve your communication.

Faith does not replace learning.

Go and read books/materials on how to effectively and efficiently toast.

Don't use Faith. Faith works on knowledge.

A “Brother John” Snow can't be faith'ing anything

Step 3: LEARN FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE IT

Ask from people that have successfully toasted babes.

Learn from their mistakes.

Work on your packaging, your phonetics, the atmosphere and other thing

Borrow sense…

Improve your dressing, your confidence, your communication and your emotional intelligence, work on your steez and your rizz.

Step 4: GO

GO and toast.

Don't pray that the girl should come and meet you.

Make a move...GO

Don’t fast until the sister walks up to you, move towards the direction of your destiny.

Establish Your Core Convictions

Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine. Daniel 1:8 NIV

What was Daniel's problem?

What was wrong with eating the best food in the country?

Most people lived on a meagre diet. Daniel was going to have the opportunity to eat, literally, like a king.

Why the hard line?

A privilege to eat same thing with your president. VIP access to Chop Life Gang…

For Daniel, that was a bridge too far. It was about compromising his character, and that he would not do.

You don't discover your convictions when the pressure is on; you decide them in advance.

It's during the good times that you determine what you will or won't do during the hard times.

For Daniel, he understood it wasn't just ice-cream and shawarma, it was far beyond that.

When you dig down into the cultural realities of the situation, more seems to be at stake.

A Babylonian feast was always eaten in honour of the gods. So whenever you sat down to a meal, it wasn't just dining that you participated in, but an act of worship.

This food had previously been sacrificed to a pagan god.

For a Jewish teenager who took his faith in God seriously, participation would mean compromising who he was called to be.

By eating their meal, he would be worshipping their god.

It was beyond just food, it was much more than that.

Maybe it's money from gambling or fraud.

You'll be shouting “Investor Michael,” Michael Oil & Gas upandan

But what is the Michael investing?

Or you are “eating the work” of someone that you haven’t married “in the eyes of carton”(translate to Yoruba for best understanding)

And you are shouting “Animashaun”

“Afunimawobe”

“Small girl Big God” upandan

On the surface it may look like “it's nothing” or it's “something light”

But have you taken time to look beyond the surface?

Shallow minds are comfortable with surface things.

Take a stand today.

Jabez was never cursed.

Okay, so I'm doing my throwback on Jabez today.

Guess the first sentence in the story of Jabez.

1 Chronicles 4:9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.

So, the first thing the Bible ever tells us about Jabez is that he was more honourable than his brothers.

Before anybody mentions pain... Before anybody starts binding ancestral spirits... Before anybody says destiny helper...

The Bible says, this guy was more honourable than his brothers.

Jabez was the star boy of their time.

Now let's go to the second sentence.

The sentence that caused all the wahala.

and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.

Now ask yourself...

Whose mother didn't go through pain while giving birth?

The pain wasn't the miracle…The naming was.

Was there epidural those days?

Even at this age and time, a lot of women still go through labour pains

That can't be me sha...🥹

And guess what, Jabez does not exactly mean pain.🌚

Jabez does not mean anything actually. 😜

The Hebrew name יַעְבֵּץ (Yaʿbēṣ) is closely related to the Hebrew word עֹצֶב ('otsev), which means pain, sorrow, grief and anguish.

The connection is made explicitly by the author

...she named him Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain ('otsev)”

This is a wordplay. The narrator links the name Jabez with the experience of painful childbirth. So, while many English Bibles gloss the name as pain or sorrow, the Hebrew is a little more nuanced. The name is associated with pain through a play on words.

The text never says his mother cursed him.

It never says there was a family meeting in the village over his destiny.

It simply tells us why she gave him that name. Yet somehow, many sermons begin with a curse that the text itself never mentions.

Sometimes, what we've inherited is not bad theology because people are wicked.

It's bad theology because nobody bothered to read the first sentence.

So why did the writer even mention the name?

Because the point wasn't that Jabez was cursed. The point was that his beginning did not define his end.

Imagine introducing someone this way:

This man was more honourable than his brothers.

Then immediately telling us he was named after pain, the contrast is intentional.

His name spoke one thing and his life spoke another.

Read your Bible slowly.

1 Chronicles 4:9 - And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.

1 Chronicles 4:10 - And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

First, he cried out...because, those days they felt God was far away, but now we have the Holy Spirit within us.

Secondly, he asked God to bless him.

There's no stage in life where this prayer becomes irrelevant.

Remember, Dangote still dey find money…

So, he didn't pray this because he was not blessed but because he aspired to acquire more desire but all in all, we see that God answered his prayers.

There are plenty lessons to learn in the life of Jabez than to just reduce him to a cursed person.

I hope you've been able to pick some from my research.

Sometimes, the doctrine is hiding in the first sentence while we’re busy preaching from the second.

This is the resurrection story in my way…

It's Good Friday.

But Jesus had just been flogged overnight by McOluomo & his boys..

One disciple has just committed suicide.

Another just denied Jesus and even swore that he has never met him.

The remaining 10 had gone into hiding. Wahala

I imagine the disciples shouting pressure ti wa o, pressure ti wa o..... Nobody could stand for the MANDATE

In fact, it was not a Good Friday for Pontius Pilate. His wife had just had a nightmare and was stressing everyone at home.

Also, some Pastors have brought a random Jesus and asked that he sentence him to death.

Friday that should be for chilling 🫣

When the whole house is supposed to be saying TGIF, wahala just comes up...

Imagine Points Pilate's wife has promised him a delicacy and now her mood has changed, no more delicacy, orders cancelled....any maid that misbehaves will collect according to their size...... Jimoh oloyin now turned Dark Friday..... Even Jumia couldn't hold Black Friday because the street have scattered…

That Friday was not a good Friday for Mary, the mother of Jesus

Her precious Son was being dragged around the street like a criminal that stole at computer village.

The same crowd that celebrated him on Sunday were now looking for tire and petrol to burn him 5 days later

Wahala…People will celebrate with you but when wahala happens na only you dey.

In all of this, Satan was feeling good.

He was probably thinking... “This is indeed a Good Friday”

But if there's anything football has taught us...don't celebrate until the final whistle.

Jesus knew the end game. And he endured the shege so that me and you will not see shege

Satan would have said Siri play me feeling good but then God was smiling, God was telling them pick two, general market meanwhile Baba God was about to play His last card and check up.... He endured the Shege that we might not experience shege…

As we conclude today, in the year Christ died, we can see those who must have seen it as a Good Friday indeed.

Holy Saturday

Calvary Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This week has been a rollercoaster of events and emotions.

Today is Sabbath. We can finally rest.

Jesus has been laid to rest in a tomb.

His last words were "It is finished".

A set of 30 soldiers/bouncers were taking turns to watch over the tomb.

So, the religious leaders were at rest as well.

The disciples were resting in their secret location checking instablog clips of how Jesus was tortured.

The disciples were confused.

Peter was probably replaying his denial.

Thomas was asking questions nobody could answer.

Mary was crying.

The religious leaders were celebrating.

Satan was already drafting his victory speech.

Heaven was silent.

But sometimes God's silence is not God's absence.

Just as the disciples of Jesus waited to see his words fulfilled, we as Christians should imbibe the culture of waiting as well.

Isaiah 40:31: But those who WAIT on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

We have all woken up.

Rumour has it that the tomb is empty.

People are posting pictures of an empty Tomb.

One influencer is claiming Jesus appeared to her.

Gentlemen of the press are reporting live from the tomb and we have a lot of eye witness report.

Channels TV & AriseTV have confirmed that the Tomb is indeed empty.

Rufyd fire is planning to bring Jesus in for public interview and Ruben Abati is planning to call Minister of FCT to come clear the air.

NTA is busy showing a documentary on Argungun Fishing Festival. They are not even aware of what's going on, as per their custom…

The facts and figures are rolling in.

• Jesus is the only person who predicted His resurrection and then actually rose never to die again.

• It was noted that Jesus nearly folded his napkin before leaving.

Meaning he took his time. He wasn't escaping nor in a hurry. John 20:7

Someone rose from the dead and still laid his bed.

Some of you would sleep only 8hours and ignore your beddings. I think we should do better

Be like Jesus…

So this is not just teaching, it is alignment work. You are not just learning about God here, you are correcting your lens of reality.

WHEN GOD REFUSES SIMPLICITY

The Trinity is not a concept designed to satisfy curiosity, it is a revelation that confronts human limitation.

Man naturally wants things simplified, things explained and things reduced but God does not reduce Himself to fit human preference. He reveals Himself in truth and then invites man to grow into that truth.

THE PROBLEM WITH HUMAN APPROACH

Many approach the Trinity like this, Explain it in a way I can fully understand. That approach is already flawed because you are placing your mind above revelation and your understanding above truth

Can you search out the deep things of God? Job 11:7

That question is not rhetorical, it is a boundary marker. You can know God truly but not exhaustively.

THE POSTURE REQUIRED

To engage this subject properly, you need:

1.Humility: you are not the reference point

2.Submission: Scripture defines truth, not opinion

3.Patience: depth is not rushed

WHY THIS MATTERS IN REAL LIFE

A wrong understanding of God does not remain theoretical, it shows up in:

1. Prayer Life: If God is vague to you, your prayers will be vague

2. Identity: If you don’t know how God relates within Himself, you won’t understand how He relates with you

3. Spiritual Growth: You cannot grow beyond the God you perceive.

WHY THE WORD "TRINITY" IS NOT IN THE BIBLE

One of the most common objections raised against the doctrine of the Trinity is that The word Trinity is not found anywhere in the Bible.

At first glance, this objection appears compelling. If the Trinity is such a central doctrine of Christianity, why does the word itself never appear in Scripture?

The answer is both simple and important. The word Trinity is not found in the Bible and that statement is true.

However, the absence of a theological term does not mean the absence of the doctrine that the term describes.

This is a principle that every student of Scripture must understand.

The Christian faith contains many important theological terms that do not appear in the biblical text itself, yet accurately summarize truths revealed throughout Scripture.

For example:

• Incarnation – the doctrine that the eternal Son became flesh.

• Omnipresence – the doctrine that God is present everywhere.

• Omniscience – the doctrine that God knows all things.

• Monotheism – the doctrine that there is only one God.

• Theology – the systematic study of God and His revelation.

None of these words appear in the original biblical text. Yet few Christians would reject these doctrines simply because the terms themselves are absent from Scripture.

The issue is not whether a particular word appears in the Bible, the issue is whether the truth represented by that word is taught by the Bible.

The question, therefore, is not: Is the word Trinity in the Bible?

The proper question is Does the Bible reveal one God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?

If Scripture teaches that:

• There is only one God,

• The Father is God,

• The Son is God,

• The Holy Spirit is God,

And these three are personally distinct from one another, then some term is needed to summarize that biblical reality.

The word Trinity became that term, it is not a replacement for Scripture, it is a summary of Scriptures.

Just as the word incarnation summarizes everything the Bible teaches about Christ becoming flesh, the word Trinity summarizes everything the Bible teaches about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The doctrine was not invented by theologians seeking to create a mystery, it was developed by believers seeking to faithfully express what God had already revealed.

The early Church did not begin with the doctrine of the Trinity and force it into the Bible. Rather, they began with the Bible and were compelled to formulate the doctrine because of what they found there.

They encountered passages that affirmed without qualification that there is only one God. They encountered passages that identified the Father as God, they encountered passages that identified the Son as God.

They encountered passages that identified the Holy Spirit as God. They encountered passages that clearly distinguished the Father, Son, and Spirit from one another.

Faced with these realities, the Church sought language that would preserve every biblical truth without denying any biblical truth.

The result was the doctrine of the Trinity. The term itself developed over time, but the truth it describes is woven throughout the pages of Scripture.

In other words, Christians do not believe in the Trinity because the word appears in the Bible.

Christians believe in the Trinity because the God revealed in the Bible is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The doctrine of the Trinity was not imposed upon Scripture, it was derived from Scripture.

It is the Church's attempt to say no more and no less than what God has revealed about Himself.

Therefore, the absence of the word Trinity should not trouble the believer.

What matters is not whether the term appears in Scripture, but whether the truth it communicates faithfully reflects the whole counsel of God.

And as we shall see throughout this study, the doctrine of the Trinity arises not from a single verse, but from the combined witness of the entire Bible concerning the identity of the one true God.

MONOTHEISM: THE UNBREAKABLE FOUNDATION OF THE TRINITY

Before discussing the Trinity, we must establish a truth that stands at the very heart of biblical revelation which is There is only one God.

The doctrine of the Trinity does not begin with three Persons. It begins with one God.

Many critics mistakenly assume that Christians believe in three gods because Christians speak of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This misunderstanding arises because people often encounter the doctrine of the Trinity before they understand the Bible's uncompromising commitment to monotheism.

The Christian doctrine of the Trinity did not emerge from pagan philosophy, polytheism, or human speculation. It emerged from the Church's attempt to faithfully hold together everything Scripture reveals about God.

The ancient Church built the doctrine of the Trinity upon three undeniable biblical truths:

Truth One: There is only one God.

Truth Two: The Father is God. The Son is God. The Holy Spirit is God.

Truth Three: The Father is not the Son. The Son is not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not the Father.

When these three truths are held together without denying any of them, the result is the doctrine of the Trinity explaining One God eternally existing in three distinct Persons.

The doctrine of the Trinity therefore does not weaken monotheism, it rather protects it. It preserves everything Scripture teaches about God's unity while also embracing everything Scripture reveals about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

To understand the Trinity properly, we must first understand that the Bible relentlessly, repeatedly, and unequivocally declares that there is only one true God.

THE BIBLE'S UNCOMPROMISING MONOTHEISM

From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture rejects every form of polytheism, paganism, and idolatry.

The God of the Bible does not present Himself as the greatest among many gods. He presents Himself as the only true God.

The biblical worldview leaves no room for competing deities.

No rivals, no equals, no alternatives. There is God alone.

THE GREAT CONFESSION OF ISRAEL

Deuteronomy 6:4 says Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.

This declaration, known as the Shema, became the central confession of Israel's faith. Every faithful Jew knew these words, parents taught them to their children.

They were recited daily, they shaped Israel's understanding of God. The Shema did not merely affirm that God was first among many gods.

It declared that the LORD alone is God. The God who brought Israel out of Egypt is one.

His being is undivided, His nature is unique, His glory belongs to Him alone. This truth formed the foundation upon which every later revelation would stand. Neither Jesus nor the apostles ever abandoned this confession.

The New Testament does not replace biblical monotheism, it deepens our understanding of the one God who has revealed Himself in Christ.

GOD'S EXCLUSIVE CLAIM

Throughout the book of Isaiah, God repeatedly asserts His uniqueness in language so strong that it leaves no room for misunderstanding.

Isaiah 43:10 says Before Me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after Me.

Notice the absolute nature of this declaration. God does not merely say that He is greater than other gods.

He declares that no god existed before Him and no god will ever exist after Him. The possibility of rival deities is completely excluded. There has never been another true God, there never will be… God stands alone.

Isaiah 44:6: Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: 'I am the first and I am the last; besides Me there is no god.

This statement is astonishing in its clarity, besides Him there is no God. Not fewer gods, not lesser gods, no gods. The Lord alone occupies the throne of deity. Everything else belongs to creation, only He is Creator.

Only He is eternal, only He possesses self-existent life. Only He deserves worship.

Isaiah 45:5: I am the LORD, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God.

This is one of the strongest monotheistic declarations in all of Scripture. God is not one option among many. He is not one member of a divine community, He is not one deity within a larger pantheon.

He alone is God, every idol is false, every rival deity is imaginary. Every competing object of worship ultimately collapses before the reality of the living God.

THE TESTIMONY OF THE NEW TESTAMENT

The arrival of Jesus Christ did not weaken biblical monotheism. It strengthened and clarified it. The apostles remained fiercely committed to the belief that there is only one God.

1 Corinthians 8:4: There is no God but one.

Writing in a world filled with pagan temples, emperor worship, and countless false gods, the Apostle Paul reaffirmed the ancient confession of Israel.

There is only one true God. Christianity did not introduce additional gods into the universe.

Rather, the apostles came to understand that the one God of Israel had revealed Himself more fully through the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The New Testament never abandons monotheism. Instead, it expands our understanding of the one God without compromising His unity.

WHY THIS MATTERS

If we fail to establish biblical monotheism, we will inevitably misunderstand the Trinity.

The Trinity is not the belief that:

• Three gods work together.

• Three divine beings cooperate.

• Three separate centers of deity exist side by side.

That is not Christianity, that is tritheism. The Church has always rejected such teaching. Christianity teaches that there is only one divine essence.

One divine being, One divine nature, One divine will, One divine glory, One eternal God. The Father possesses the fullness of that divine nature.

The Son possesses the fullness of that divine nature. The Holy Spirit possesses the fullness of that divine nature not because there are three gods but because the one divine essence is fully and eternally shared by the three divine Persons.

THE FOUNDATION UPON WHICH THE TRINITY STANDS

The doctrine of the Trinity is not an attempt to move beyond monotheism. It is the biblical explanation of how monotheism and divine revelation fit together.

The Church did not begin with the Trinity and then search for monotheism, the Church began with monotheism.

The first Christians were Jews, they believed the Shema, they worshipped the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Yet they encountered Jesus Christ, they saw Him forgive sins, they saw Him receive worship, they heard Him claim divine authority, they witnessed His resurrection, they experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

As they searched the Scriptures, they discovered three truths they could not deny:

• There is one God.

• The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God.

• The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are personally distinct from one another.

The doctrine of the Trinity emerged because all three truths are taught by Scripture.

To deny any one of them is to distort God's self-revelation.

Therefore, before we speak of three Persons, we must firmly establish this unshakable foundation:

• There is one God.

• One Creator.

• One Sovereign.

• One Lord.

• One Eternal Divine Essence.

And everything that follows in the doctrine of the Trinity rests upon that immovable biblical truth.

DEFINING THE TRINITY

If you get the definition wrong, everything else becomes unstable.

WHY DEFINITIONS MATTER

Doctrine is not built on feelings, it is built on accurate articulation of truth. The early church fought for words not because they loved arguments, but because a slight shift in words can produce a major shift in meaning.

WHAT THE TRINITY IS NOT

1. NOT TRITHEISM (THREE GODS)

This error imagines:

1. Three independent divine beings

2. Three separate centers of authority

Why this fails is because Scripture insists God is one (Deut. 6:4). There is no division in divine will

If there are three gods, then:

1. Christianity collapses into polytheism

2. Unity becomes cooperation, not essence

2. NOT MODALISM (ONE PERSON, THREE EXPRESSIONS)

This error suggests that God is one Person who appears in different modes. Why it seems attractive is because it preserves oneness.

Why it fails is because Jesus prays to the Father, The Father speaks to the Son and The Spirit descends distinctly.

These are not role switches, they are real distinctions.

3. NOT PARTIALISM (GOD IN FRACTIONS)

This error divides God into parts.

Why it fails is because God is not divisible because each Person is fully God, not a segment.

4. NOT HIERARCHICAL DEITY

This error ranks the Persons; Father > Son > Spirit

Why it fails is because Scripture affirms full deity of all three.

Any lesser God cannot save.

1. PLURAL LANGUAGE IN CREATION

Genesis 1:26 says Let Us make man in OUR image

This is not angels, angels do not create, and angels are not the image. This is God speaking within Himself.

2. DISTINCTION WITHIN “THE LORD”

David in Psalms 110:1 says The Lord said to my Lord… David recognizes plurality yet unity.

3. THE SPIRIT IS ACTIVE

The Spirit is not introduced later, He is present from the beginning.

The apostles didn’t struggle with this, they wrote with clarity. They consistently referenced Father, Son and the Spirit together and simultaneously.

THE FATHER (ABBA) THE SOURCE AND ORIGIN

The source of divine initiative, everything in redemption flows from Him.

He is not distant, He is intentional.

THE SON IS GOD REVEALED

Jesus is not only a messenger, not a prophet only. He is simply God stepping into visibility. He is God in flesh format

If Jesus is not fully God, His sacrifice loses value and salvation becomes incomplete.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD PRESENT

The Spirit is not an extension, He is God actively present within and among believers.

THE DANGER OF REDUCTION

Reducing the Spirit to power leads to misuse, misunderstanding and spiritual imbalance.

UNITY IN THE INTERNAL LIFE OF GOD

The Trinity is not three independent minds negotiating, it is perfect internal harmony. IT IS ONE WILL, THREE EXPRESSIONS.

There is no disagreement in God, no debate, no conflict only perfect agreement and perfect flow.

THIS IS WHAT MAKES GOD GOD, it is absolute unity, not enforced, not managed but naturally existing.

ORDER IN HOW GOD OPERATES

The divine flow is that The Father initiates, The Son executes and The Spirit applies. This is not ranking, it is rather function.

WHY THIS MATTERS FOR YOU

If you misunderstand this, you will pray wrongly, you will interpret Scripture wrongly and get the view of God wrong.

APOLOGETICS: ANSWERING COMMON OBJECTIONS TO THE TRINITY

The doctrine of the Trinity has been challenged from the earliest centuries of the Church until the present day.

Some objections come from sincere seekers attempting to understand Scripture.

Others come from alternative religious systems such as Islam, Unitarianism, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Oneness theology.

Still others arise from skeptics who regard the doctrine as irrational or contradictory.

Every generation of believers must learn not only what the Church believes, but why it believes it.

Peter writes Always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you. (1 Peter 3:15)

Biblical apologetics is not about winning arguments. It is about faithfully defending the truth God has revealed.

The goal is clarity, not arrogance.

Conviction, not hostility.

Truth spoken in love.

The following are some of the most common objections raised against the doctrine of the Trinity and the biblical responses to them.

OBJECTION 1

The Word Trinity Is Not Found in the Bible

This is perhaps the most common objection. The answer is straightforward. The word Trinity is indeed absent from Scripture. However, many theological words used by Christians do not appear in the biblical text.

Examples include:

• Incarnation

• Omnipresence

• Omniscience

• Monotheism

• Theology

The question is not whether a word appears in Scripture. The question is whether the doctrine represented by that word is taught by Scripture.

The doctrine of the Trinity emerged because believers were attempting to summarize the totality of biblical revelation concerning God.

Scripture teaches:

1. There is one God.

2. The Father is God.

3. The Son is God.

4. The Holy Spirit is God.

5. The Father, Son, and Spirit are distinct Persons.

The term Trinity simply summarizes those biblical truths. The doctrine was not imposed upon Scripture. It was derived from Scripture.

OBJECTION 2

Jesus Never Said, I Am God.

This objection is often repeated but misunderstands how Jesus revealed His identity.

Jesus did not walk through Judea repeatedly saying the exact English sentence, I am God.

However, He claimed things that no mere creature could claim. He spoke and acted with divine authority, His hearers understood His claims far better than many modern critics.

Jesus Claimed the Divine Name

John 8:58: Before Abraham was, I AM.

Jesus deliberately used the language associated with God's self-revelation to Moses.

The reaction was immediate. The crowd attempted to stone Him for blasphemy.

They understood what He was claiming.

Jesus Claimed Equality with the Father

John 10:30: I and the Father are one.

The Jews again attempted to stone Him.

Why? Because they believed He was making Himself equal with God.

Jesus Accepted Worship

Matthew 14:33: Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God. (KJV)

John 9:38: And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. (KJV)

Hebrews 1:6: And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Throughout Scripture, faithful servants of God reject worship. Angels reject worship., the Apostles reject worship. Jesus receives worship and never rebukes those who offer it.

Thomas Called Jesus God

John 20:28: And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Jesus did not correct Thomas. Instead, He commended his faith.

Jesus Exercised Divine Authority

Jesus forgave sins, He judged humanity, He claimed authority over the Sabbath, He raised the dead, He declared Himself the source of eternal life.

These are not merely prophetic claims, they are divine claims.

OBJECTION 3

If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Pray?

This objection misunderstands the doctrine of the Incarnation.

Christianity teaches that Jesus Christ is one Person possessing two natures.

He is Fully God and Fully Man.

The eternal Son genuinely became human.

As man, He experienced hunger, weariness, growth, temptation and suffering. And yes, prayer.

Prayer does not prove Jesus is not God, it demonstrates the reality of His humanity.

The Son's earthly life reveals perfect dependence upon the Father. His prayers are not evidence against His deity. They are evidence that He truly became one of us.

The mystery of Christ is not that God prayed, the mystery is that God became man without ceasing to be God.

OBJECTION 4

Jesus Said the Father Is Greater Than I

John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Many critics point to this verse as proof that Jesus is not God. The answer lies in distinguishing between Christ's nature and His role.

Theologians often speak of Ontological Equality and What Christ is by nature. Fully God and Equal with the Father in deity.

Functional Submission

The role Christ willingly assumed in redemption.

During His earthly ministry, the Son humbled Himself and submitted Himself to the Father's mission.

Philippians 2:6-8 explains that Christ voluntarily took the form of a servant.

Phil.2.6 - Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Phil.2.7 - But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Phil.2.8 - And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cros

His submission does not imply inferiority. A wife may voluntarily submit to her husband without being less human. A citizen may submit to a government without being less valuable.

Likewise, the Son's submission does not diminish His deity, it demonstrates His obedience.

OBJECTION 5

The Son Was Created

This objection was famously taught by Arius in the fourth century.

According to Arius: There was when He was not.In other words, the Son was created.

The Church rejected this teaching because Scripture rejects it.

John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Word already existed when the beginning began.

John 1:3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

If all created things came into existence through Christ, then Christ Himself cannot belong to the category of created things.

Colossians 1:16: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Again, Christ stands on the Creator side of reality, not the created side. The Son is not a creature.

He is the eternal Creator.

OBJECTION 6

The Holy Spirit Is Merely God's Power

Many groups deny the personhood of the Holy Spirit. They view Him as an impersonal force or divine energy. Scripture presents a different picture. The Holy Spirit possesses personal attributes.

He Speaks

Acts 13:2: As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

He Teaches

John 14:26: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

He Guides

John 16:13: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

He Intercedes

Romans 8:26: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

He Has a Will

1 Corinthians 12:11: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

He Can Be Grieved

Ephesians 4:30: And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

An impersonal force cannot be grieved, only persons can.

The Holy Spirit is not merely God's power, He is a divine Person.

OBJECTION 7

The Trinity Is a Contradiction

This objection arises because many people misunderstand what Christians mean by Trinity.

A contradiction would be God is one Person and three Persons.

Or:

God is one God and three Gods.

Christianity teaches neither. The doctrine teaches, God is one in essence.

God is three in Persons.

Essence answers What is God?

Person answers Who is God?

The doctrine is mysterious but mystery is not contradiction. Not everything beyond human comprehension is irrational, we cannot fully comprehend infinity.

Yet infinity is not illogical.

We cannot fully comprehend consciousness, yet consciousness is not illogical.

Likewise, the Trinity transcends our understanding without violating reason.

OBJECTION 8

The Trinity Was Invented at Nicaea

A popular modern claim is that the doctrine of the Trinity was created at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325.

History says otherwise. The Council did not invent the doctrine, it defended it. Long before Nicaea, Christians worshiped Christ as God.

Long before Nicaea, Christians baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Long before Nicaea, Christian writings affirmed Christ's deity.

The Council merely responded to Arius' denial of Christ's deity and clarified what the Church had always believed from Scripture.

Nicaea did not create the doctrine.

Nicaea protected the doctrine.

OBJECTION 9

How Can Three Be One?

This question often arises from a misunderstanding of the doctrine.

Christians do not teach, Three gods equal one god. That would be nonsense.

Rather, Christianity teaches: One divine essence, Three divine Persons.

The one divine essence is fully possessed by the Father. Fully possessed by the Son, fully possessed by the Holy Spirit.

The divine nature is not divided into thirds, the Father is not one-third God, the Son is not one-third God.

The Spirit is not one-third God.

Each Person fully possesses the one undivided divine essence.

The mystery lies not in mathematical contradiction but in the unique nature of God's being.

OBJECTION 10

Why Does the Trinity Matter?

Some ask: Even if the Trinity is true, why is it important?

The answer is simple. The Trinity is not an optional doctrine, it affects everything.

It Protects the Gospel. Only God can save, if Jesus is not God, salvation collapses.

It Protects Worship

Christians worship Christ because He is God. If Christ is not God, Christian worship becomes idolatry.

It Protects Revelation

Only God can perfectly reveal God. If Jesus is less than God, He cannot perfectly reveal the Father.

It Protects Redemption

The Father planned redemption, the Son accomplished redemption and the Spirit applies redemption.

Remove any Person from this work and the gospel itself is distorted.

The Trinity is not a theological luxury, it is woven into the very fabric of Christianity.

THE FINAL APOLOGETIC

Ultimately, the strongest defense of the Trinity is not a philosophical argument. It is the witness of Scripture itself.

The Bible teaches, there is one God, the Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God.

The Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Spirit and the Spirit is not the Father.

The doctrine of the Trinity exists because faithful believers refused to deny any of those truths.

The Trinity is not an attempt to explain God away. It is an attempt to faithfully confess everything God has revealed about Himself.

The task of the Church is therefore not to improve upon God's revelation, but to believe it, proclaim it, defend it, and worship the God who has made Himself known as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

One God, three Persons.

Your corrections never meant rejections; they were simply bitter redirections

Your discipline was not punishment; it was preparation

Many of the victories we celebrate today wear our names, but they carry your fingerprints

For every door we entered with confidence, there was a father who first stood guard at the gate

For every mountain we climbed, there was a father who first carried the load

For every battle we won in public, there was a father who fought in private.

You saw seeds when others saw soil

You saw purpose when others saw problems

You saw promise when others saw pressure

You looked at our weaknesses and spoke of wonders

You looked at our mistakes and spoke of maturity

You looked at our present and spoke into our future

That is what fathers do, they see the harvest hidden in the seed, they hear the song hidden in the silence and they recognise the giant hidden in the child.

You were our teachers, but you were also our reachers, stretching beyond convenience whenever there was a need.

You were our givers, our lifters, our listeners, and our leaders

You carried responsibility with remarkable resilience

You stood through seasons that would have broken lesser men

You weathered weather

You endured what seemed unendurable

You survived what many would not have survived

Yet you kept showing up…

When tired, when misunderstood, when uncelebrated and when the cost was high.

Today, we understand what we could not understand then

The restrictions were protection

The correction was affection

The boundaries were blessings

The no was often making room for a greater yes.

Looking back, we can see that what felt like resistance was often assistance

What felt like delay was direction

What felt like limitation was loving preservation

Thank you for the prayers that went ahead of us

Thank you for the sacrifices that sustained us

Thank you for the wisdom that steadied us

Thank you for the courage that challenged us

Thank you for the faith that carried us when our own faith felt fragile.

You were not perfect, but you were present

Not flawless, but faithful

Not merely providers of bread, but builders of belief

Not merely protectors of homes, but cultivators of hope

So today, with hearts full of honour and gratitude, we celebrate the men whose shoulders carried stories, whose prayers shaped possibilities, whose sacrifices secured futures, and whose love gave wings to generations.

Thank you for being our fathers.

Truth be told I first heard gaslighting from a child who is about 7 years, she complained about her mum gaslighting her, although her context was wrong but it made me study the phenomenon well and I discovered it was something so clear, visible and pronounced in the community.

I have come to accept that there are wounds that announce themselves and there are wounds that hide, some pains make noise while others sit quietly in the architecture of the soul.

They show up in hesitation, in second-guessing, in chronic guilt, in the strange inability to trust your own judgment and sometimes you do not even know where it began, you only know that once upon a time, you could sense clearly, you could tell when something felt off, you could trust what peace was telling you and now… you keep overriding yourself.

You keep doubting what you know, you keep explaining away things that keep injuring you and that is often where gaslighting has done its work.

The paradox is that when this happens in spiritual environments, the damage can cut even deeper because when manipulation borrows the language of God, it does not merely confuse the mind.

It can trouble the conscience, it can distort a person’s image of God, it can make someone feel that protecting themselves is sin and that leaving harm is rebellion, that asking questions is pride and many sincere believers have suffered under this for years while calling it discipleship.

This is why this conversation matters because some people have not lost faith, they have been wounded by distortion and those are not the same thing.

WHAT GASLIGHTING REALLY IS

Gaslighting is not mere disagreement.

Let’s be clear on the real meaning of this thing. The term gaslighting has been abused and misused a lot.

Someone challenging your perspective is not automatically gaslighting. Conflict is not gaslighting. Correction is not gaslighting.

Gaslighting is more deliberate, it’s an act done with intentionality.

Gaslighting is the repeated undermining of a person’s confidence in their own perception of reality.

It happens when someone keeps shifting the ground under your feet until you no longer trust where you stand.

It sounds like:

That never happened.

You are too emotional.

You misunderstood again.

That is all in your head.

You always make things bigger than they are.

If you were mature, you would not be bothered.

At first, these may sound like ordinary phrases but repeated over time, they become corrosive because they do not just dismiss a concern but they destabilize self-trust.

The untold consequence is that when self-trust collapses, dependence on the manipulator increases and that is usually the hidden mechanism.

THE PSYCHOLOGY BEHIND IT

Gaslighting works because it does not usually attack you directly, it attacks your interpretation and once your interpretation is weakened, your boundaries weaken. Your confidence weakens, your resistance weakens.

Psychologically, this can produce cognitive confusion, hypervigilance, trauma bonding and learned helplessness.

A person starts living in constant internal review.

Did that really happen?

Am I overreacting?

Was I wrong to feel hurt?

Should I apologize for bringing it up?

This is emotional erosion and it is exhausting.

WHEN GASLIGHTING BECOMES SPIRITUAL

Now let us go deeper into the spiritual community.

Spiritual gaslighting happens when this same manipulation is carried out using religious language, spiritual authority, scripture, prophecy, or God-talk.

That is what makes it dangerous because now the pressure does not just feel relational, it feels eternal.

People begin to fear that disagreeing with a leader means disagreeing with God and that fear can imprison sincere people.

It sounds like, if you question this, you are rebellious.

If you feel hurt, it is because your heart is offended.

God told me this, so your discomfort is flesh.

If you leave this church, you are leaving covering.

Your problem is pride, not what happened to you.

You are touching the anointed.

Now pause. Look at what is happening.

Pain is being invalidated, discernment is being shamed, boundaries are being criminalized and concern is being moralized as sin.

That is not spiritual formation, that is manipulation wearing revelation language.

SUBTLE FORMS MANY PEOPLE MISS

This does not always happen dramatically, sometimes it is subtle enough to look normal. That is why many intelligent people miss it.

1. Weaponized Submission

Submission is used as a demand for silence but biblical submission never eliminated accountability. Healthy authority does not fear questions.

Toxic authority does.

2. “Honor” Used to Protect Harm

When some people say, Don’t dishonor. What they mean is: Don’t address wrongdoing.

But honor does not require denial, real honor can coexist with truth.

3. Over-Spiritualizing Everything

Your exhaustion becomes lack of prayer.

Your trauma becomes bitterness.

Your fear response becomes weak faith.

Your safety concerns become flesh.

Everything is spiritualized so nothing is examined honestly and that is dangerous.

4. Prophecy as Pressure

God showed me you must…

That phrase can be holy, it can also be abused.

Whenever God said is used to bypass your agency, be careful because genuine prophetic ministry confirms.

Manipulation coerces.

HOW IT SHOWS UP IN YOUTH AND MILLENNIAL SPACES

This is important because many young believers suffer this and do not have language for it.

A young woman is told staying in a harmful relationship is submission.

A young man is told questioning exploitation means he lacks humility.

A person struggling emotionally is told they only need more fasting.

Someone experiencing burnout is accused of spiritual laziness.

This is happening and it wounds people because instead of being shepherded, they are shamed.

It may look like, Purity teachings producing chronic shame.

Victims of abuse pressured into instant forgiveness.

Mental health struggles reduced to demons alone.

Leaders treated as beyond question.

Suffering interpreted as personal spiritual failure.

And all of it can produce deep internal fragmentation.

IN SOME NIGERIAN CONTEXTS

Sometimes it carries cultural reinforcement which makes it harder to resist because now it is not only spiritual pressure.

It is family pressure, community pressure, cultural expectation.

Examples:

If you leave that church, grace will leave you.

If you challenge your spiritual father, things will go wrong.

Endure it, God is using it.

Keep sowing, your problem is not enough sacrifice.

Even in homes:

If you set boundaries with family, God will judge you.

Beloved, that is not always honor, sometimes it is control baptized in family language.

THE HARMFUL EFFECTS

This can produce profound wounds.

Spiritually, people begin fearing God unnecessarily. They struggle to hear His voice apart from controlling voices, they confuse conviction with condemnation.

Emotionally, it causes low self-trust, anxiety, internalized shame and decision paralysis.

Relationally, difficulty setting boundaries, difficulty trusting safe people, difficulty leaving unhealthy environments.

And in some cases, complete church withdrawal.

And often people say: They backslid. No. Some were injured.

There is a difference.

HOW JESUS RESPONDED TO RELIGIOUS MANIPULATION

Let’s study Jesus.

He was tender with broken people but firm with oppressive religion.

He challenged burdens men placed on others.

He confronted systems that made people heavy while calling it holiness.

That matters because some imagine exposing unhealthy spiritual control is anti-God.

It is not, Jesus Himself confronted it.

HOW TO BREAK FREE

1. Recover trust in what peace is showing you.

If something repeatedly violates peace, do not ignore it.

Discernment is not arrogance, it is stewardship.

2. Separate God from the misuse of His name.

This is huge.

Just because someone used scripture to wound you does not mean God wounded you.

God is not the distortion, this distinction heals.

3. Test what you are told.

Acts commends examining teachings. Do not suspend discernment because language sounds spiritual.

Test it.

4. Rebuild boundaries.

Jesus withdrew at times, Jesus said no. Jesus did not entrust Himself to everyone.

Boundaries are not rebellion, they are wisdom.

5. Seek healthy counsel.

Safe people help reality settle again. Sometimes what trauma scrambled, community helps restore.

6. Let the Word renew your image of God.

Not wounded projections, the real God. The Father revealed in Christ.

The One who leads, not manipulates.

God corrects, not controls, He convicts, not confuses.

A WORD TO THOSE WHO FEEL THEY MISSED THE SIGNS

Do not shame yourself, many sincere people have been gaslit.

This is not proof you were foolish. Often it means you were trusting and trust is not a flaw. It only needed discernment added to it.

Now you know and knowing is part of freedom.

IN CONCLUSION

Anything that requires you to betray truth to preserve someone’s control is not spiritual authority.

Anything that makes you fear honest questions is unhealthy.

Anything that constantly leaves you smaller, more confused, and more ashamed deserves examination because the Holy Spirit may convict but He does not manipulate.

He may lead you deeply but He does not make your soul doubt itself and if your inner world has been bruised by spiritual gaslighting…

Hear me carefully.

You can recover your discernment, you can trust peace again, you can know God outside distortion and you can come out of invisible bondage into inward liberty because whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

If Christmas was God stepping into the system, Easter is God collapsing the system from within because incarnation without crucifixion would only produce admiration, not redemption.

Crucifixion without resurrection would only produce emotion, not transformation.

The manger was not the climax, it was the entry point. The cross was not the tragedy, it was the transaction and the empty tomb was not an afterthought.

It was the announcement that nothing remained outstanding.

THE MARKET, THE SYSTEM, AND THE SILENCE OF EASTER

If you have ever stood in a Nigerian market, you already understand something many believers miss about redemption.

There is noise, urgency, pressure and voices calling from different angles.

Prices rising and falling, decisions made quickly because hesitation can cost you but there is a moment, very subtle, almost easy to miss.

The moment a transaction is complete, the conversation around that item stops. There’s no more bargaining, no more negotiation, no more competing buyers.

Ownership has changed.

That silence that follows is not emptiness, it is finality.

Easter is that moment on a cosmic scale.

Colossians 2:14–15 says He blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, nailing it to His cross, and disarmed principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them.

This was not quiet spirituality, this was decisive action.

That means there are things Christ finished that many believers are still trying to negotiate in their minds.

Guilt that has been cancelled.

Condemnation that has been silenced.

Bondages that have been legally broken.

Easter is God saying, There is nothing left to discuss. The blood of Jesus is the reason God can righteously choose not to remember sin.

THE BLOOD, THE MEMORY, AND THE GOD WHO CHOSE NOT TO REMEMBER

There is a weight in this statement, The blood of Jesus is stronger than God’s memory.

Not because God is weak, not because His memory fails but because of what He has chosen to do on the basis of the blood.

Scripture is clear, God does not forget the way men forget. He is not trying to recover lost thoughts or suppress past records.

Yet, in the mystery of redemption, God chooses not to remember.

God does not struggle to forget, God does not need help to overlook sin, God is not trying to suppress memories of your past.

So the question is not whether God remembers. The question is: What has God chosen to do with what He remembers?

God Never Forgets But He Can Choose Not to Remember

Scripture does not present God as forgetful. It presents Him as intentional.

When God says:

Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more in Hebrews 8:12

He is not speaking as a being with memory loss. He is speaking as a Judge making a legal declaration.

To “not remember” in Scripture is not to lose awareness,, it is to refuse to bring something up for judgment.

It is judicial silence, it is God saying, I know it, but I will never use it against you again.

So What Changed? Not God…Justice Was Satisfied

God has always been holy, God has always been just and God has always known every sin in its full detail, nothing about God changed.

What changed is the basis upon which God relates to man because there was a problem:

• God is just → sin must be judged

• Man is guilty → judgment is inevitable

So how does a just God forgive without becoming unjust?

This is where the blood enters, not as emotion, but as legality.

Hebrews 9:22 says Without the shedding of blood there is no remission

The blood of Jesus is not a poetic symbol, it is a legal transaction.

The Blood Does Not Silence God’s Memory, It Satisfies God’s Justice

God still knows… God knows every thought, every failure, every hidden thing. Nothing about your past is erased from God’s awareness.

Yet, none of it is admissible in court anymore.

Why? It has already been judged. At the cross, your sin was not ignored, it was exhausted.

Hebrews 10:14 says For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified

This means:

• There is nothing left to punish

• There is nothing left to charge

• There is nothing left to revisit

So when God does not remember, it is not because He cannot recall, it is because there is no legal ground to prosecute.

The Cross Did Not Edit God’s Mind, It Settled Your Case

Many believers unconsciously think God is managing their past like a suppressed “Epstein files” still there, still sensitive, still dangerous but the cross did not archive your sin.

It closed the case completely and forever.

This is why Scripture says:

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? -Romans 8:33

Not because there is no history but because there is no case.

This Is the Scandal of Redemption

God sees everything yet responds as though your sin has no claim on you not because He is pretending but because He has already judged it in Christ.

This is where mercy and justice kiss each other. God did not bend His standard to save you, He fulfilled His standard in Christ to justify you.

So What Then Is the Power of the Blood?

The blood of Jesus is the reason God’s memory cannot condemn you. The blood does not compete with God’s knowledge, it satisfies God’s justice.

The blood does not make God forget, it makes your sin irrelevant in judgment.

Sit With This

God knows the worst about you and has no intention of ever using it against you.

Not now, not tomorrow and not in eternity because in Christ, your sin has already had its day in court annd it did not survive it.

The greatest misunderstanding in the life of many believers is not that God remembers their sin, it is that they think it still matters before Him.

The truth is that the same God who knows all things has chosen, on the basis of the blood of Jesus, to never bring your sins into judgment again.

Not because He forgot but because justice has nothing left to say.

WHY HE HAD TO COME AS MAN

John 1:14 says, The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.

Pause there, God did not send help, He became help because redemption is not assistance.

It is substitution.

Romans 5 shows us that through one man, Adam, sin entered the world.

So through another Man, righteousness had to be restored. The battlefield was humanity.

So the victory had to come through humanity.

Hebrews 2:17 says He had to be made like His brethren.

Not optional but necessary. As God, He had authority.

As man, He had access.

Authority alone could judge sin but access was required to stand in the place of sinners.

So He entered fully, Jesus felt hunger, He felt fatigue, He felt grief, He felt pain because what He did not assume, He could not redeem. He did not stand outside your struggle giving instructions, He stepped into it, carried it, and rewrote it from the inside.

WHY HE HAD TO DIE

Romans 6:23 says, The wages of sin is death.

The wages was not apology, not effort, not good intention but Death and God does not suspend His justice to express His love.

He satisfies His justice to reveal His love. This is the tension of the cross.

Isaiah 53:10 says it pleased the Lord to bruise Him.

Not because God delights in pain, but because justice was being fulfilled.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says He was made sin so we could become righteousness.

This is not improvement, this is exchange.

Your sin placed on Him, His righteousness placed on you. It wasn’t shared, it was swapped, God did not reduce your sin. He relocated it and He relocated it onto Christ.

MARY, THE PERFUME, AND SEEING AHEAD

John 12:7, She has kept this for the day of My burial.

Everyone else saw waste but Jesus saw alignment.

Mark 14:8 says she did what she could, beforehand.

That means she moved before events made sense. There is a kind of love that waits for explanation, there is another kind that moves by revelation. She poured value because she recognized value while others were enjoying miracles, she was preparing for sacrifice.

She saw beyond the moment into the movement of God.

THE CROSS WAS SPEAKING

Nothing about the cross was random. Everything was communicating, the nails spoke permanence. This was not temporary forgiveness, it was forever.

The crown of thorns spoke substitution, the curse introduced in Eden was now resting on His head.

The stripping of His garments spoke the removal of shame, where Adam covered himself, Jesus was uncovered to end shame.

The blood spoke legally, not emotionally but legally.

Hebrews 9:22 says without blood there is no remission.

Now His blood speaks something different. Abel’s blood cried for justice. The blood of Jesus declares justification.

Your past may be loud but the blood is louder.

IT IS FINISHED

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

This was not a cry of exhaustion, it was a declaration of completion. Everything required for redemption had been fulfilled.

Hebrews 10:14 says by one offering He perfected forever.

Not partially, not progressively but Forever.

This is not a work in progress, this is a concluded reality. Your salvation was not left open-ended, it was finalized in Christ ams there is no outstanding balance.

THE BURIAL: THE END OF NEGOTIATION

1 Corinthians 15:4, And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Burial is confirmation. It is the system acknowledging: this is over.

Romans 6:4 says Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

That means the old version of you is not being managed. It is buried.

Colossians 3:3 says For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

What is buried is not meant to be revisited, stop negotiating with what God has already buried.

THE RESURRECTION: HEAVEN’S RECEIPT

Romans 4:25, Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

The resurrection is not just power, it is proof.

Proof that the payment was accepted, proof that justice was satisfied. Proof that nothing remains unpaid. If He did not rise, faith collapses.

But He rose, so your faith stands. Death has no dominion over Him and if you are in Him, it has no dominion over you.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

This is where it becomes real.

Not theory but reality. You are not trying to become accepted, you are already accepted.

You are not trying to win victory, you are enforcing what has been won. You are not gradually becoming new, you are a new creation.

This changes how you pray, this changes how you think, changes how you live.

You don’t approach God trying to earn anything, you come from a place where everything has already been secured.

EASTER: THE FINAL WORD

If Christmas said you are no longer for sale, Easter says there is no market left. If Christmas brought God near, Easter brought you in.

If Christmas began redemption, Easter completed it. So when you look at the cross, see justice satisfied.

When you look at the empty tomb, see victory established. When you look at your life, see grace applied, this is not motivation.

This is reality, the price has been paid, the law has been fulfilled, the curse has been broken, the grave has been emptied.

And now; you are raised, you are seated, you are justified and you are secured.

Hebrews 12:28 calls it a kingdom that cannot be shaken… Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

So rest with the deep, settled confidence of one who knows nothing is pending, nothing is owed, nothing can be reversed because this time… It is finished.

There is a kind of pain the public rarely sees. It’s the weight ministers carry that shapes every decision they make, every conversation they have, and sometimes even the sermons they preach from the pulpit.

In recent years, conversations about church hurt have become more common. People speak about their disappointments, their wounds, their experiences in churches that left them bruised or disillusioned.

Those conversations matter, they should be heard but there is another side of the story that rarely receives the same compassion.

The hurt of the minister.

The one called to shepherd, to guide, to pray, to love people deeply yet whose humanity often collides with betrayal, misunderstanding, and relentless scrutiny.

Behind every pulpit is not just a preacher. There is a person, a heart, a soul learning how to carry people while also carrying their own wounds.

THE MANY FACES OF A MINISTER’S HURT

Ministry is often romanticized and famzed. From the outside, people see the platform, the microphone, the influence, the authority. People see the altar moments, the applause after powerful sermons, the respect that comes with spiritual leadership but beneath that visible surface lies a hidden emotional terrain few people truly understand.

THE UNANNOUNCED DEPARTURES

Few experiences wound a minister more quietly than sudden departures. A leader invests time, prayer, counsel, and emotional energy into someone’s life.

They celebrate their victories, they walk with them through struggles, then one day the person simply disappears.

No conversation, no explanations, no closure, just absence. For the one leaving, it may feel like a simple decision but for the shepherd, it often raises painful questions.

Did I miss something?

Did I fail them somewhere?

Was there something I should have seen?

Ministers are not machines, they feel the loss of those relationships deeply.

THE UNTRUSTED

Some people participate in church life without ever truly trusting their leaders. They listen to the preaching but question the motives, they receive the guidance but remain suspicious of the intentions behind it.

Every leadership decision becomes a subject of speculation, every action is examined through the lens of doubt.

Trust is the oxygen of leadership.

When trust disappears, ministry becomes emotionally exhausting. A leader can find themselves carrying spiritual responsibility while feeling profoundly alone in the decisions they must make.

GOSSIP AND BACKBITING

Few people endure gossip as silently as ministers do. Whispers in private conversations, rumors that spread without context, stories that reshape events into narratives the leader cannot publicly correct.

Backbiting is not just social cruelty, it is a spiritual assault.

A minister who pours into people’s lives must also endure the reality that some of those same people may later distort their intentions or question their integrity.

Yet they are still expected to forgive, still expected to love, still expected to keep serving.

AMBITION IN THE HOUSE OF GOD

Another quiet tension ministers face is spiritual ambition. Not everyone serving beside a leader is free from the desire for position or recognition.

Sometimes admiration slowly becomes comparison, comparison becomes resentment and resentment quietly transforms relationships.

There are moments when someone who once seemed supportive begins to see the leader not as a shepherd but as an obstacle.

Ministry then becomes more than spiritual labour, it becomes emotional navigation through human ambition.

BEING BLAMED FOR CHURCH HURT

Perhaps the most painful dimension of ministerial hurt is becoming the symbol of institutional disappointment.

When people experience hurt in church, the minister often becomes the visible target. Even when the situation is complex, even when multiple factors are involved, even when the leader was trying to help.

This does not mean ministers never make mistakes, they do, they are human too but many leaders find themselves blamed for situations that are far more complicated than they appear from the outside yet they must continue standing before the same people week after week.

MINISTERS ARE HUMAN

Scripture never pretends that spiritual leaders are immune to pain. The apostle Paul spoke openly about the pressures of ministry.

We are hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8

Paul’s words are not poetic exaggeration. They are the honest confession of a man carrying the emotional and spiritual cost of leadership.

Ministry often places a person in situations where they are pressured on every side, spiritually, emotionally, and sometimes even relationally. Yet the expectation remains that they will continue to stand, continue to believe, continue to pour out strength to others.

The minister must still preach faith even when his own heart has been bruised by disappointment.

THE SILENT NIGHTS OF A MINISTER

What many people see is the Sunday strength, what they do not see are the Saturday night tears. They do not see the late nights spent praying for members who will later criticize them.

They do not see the emotional exhaustion that comes after counseling families through crisis after crisis.

They do not see the moments when a leader sits alone asking God for wisdom because every available option seems capable of upsetting someone.

Leadership in the kingdom often requires absorbing emotional shocks without transmitting bitterness.

It is one thing to experience hurt, it is another thing to experience hurt and still be required to lead people with compassion.

WHEN LOVE IS MISUNDERSTOOD

Many ministers genuinely love the people they lead. They correct because they care, they instruct because they want growth and they sometimes make difficult decisions because leadership requires it.

Those actions are not always received as love, correction may be interpreted as control, guidance may be seen as interference, spiritual oversight may be mistaken for domination.

The minister finds himself in the painful place of being misunderstood by the very people he is trying to help.

Sometimes the same people who once celebrated the leader become the loudest voices questioning his heart.

THE EMOTIONAL WEIGHT OF RESPONSIBILITY

Another dimension of ministerial hurt is the constant pressure of responsibility. Every decision matters, every word matters, every action may influence the spiritual direction of dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of people.

A simple leadership decision can affect relationships, ministries, and sometimes entire families.

This constant awareness can create an invisible emotional burden, the minister is not just managing programs; he is stewarding souls and the fear of making a wrong decision can sometimes weigh heavily on the heart of even the strongest leaders.

THE LONELINESS OF LEADERSHIP

One of the least discussed realities in ministry is loneliness.

Leadership can be surprisingly isolating.

A leader may be surrounded by people and still feel alone, not because people are absent but because there are few spaces where a leader can be fully vulnerable without concern about how it might affect the community they lead.

Many ministers carry burdens quietly because they feel responsible for protecting the emotional stability of the people they serve and so they keep going praying for others, encouraging others, strengthening others even when their own hearts need care.

THE PSYCHOLOGY OF CARRYING PEOPLE

From a psychological perspective, ministry places individuals in roles of constant emotional exposure.

Pastors become receivers of people’s pain, trauma, struggles, expectations, and disappointments.

Over time, this can create something known as compassion fatigue.

Compassion fatigue occurs when someone who continually cares for others begins to experience emotional depletion from the weight of constant empathy.

It is not a lack of faith, it is a human response to prolonged emotional labour. Without healthy support systems, even the most devoted leaders can feel overwhelmed.

WHEN MINISTERS BECOME THE TARGET OF CHURCH HURT

Ironically, ministers are often blamed for church hurt even when the situation is more complex.

Sometimes conflicts arise between members, sometimes misunderstandings occur, sometimes personal expectations are not met, yet the pastor becomes the visible symbol of the institution.

When people are hurting, the leader often becomes the focus of their frustration. This does not mean leaders are always right.

Pastors can make mistakes, they are human but it is also important to recognize that many ministers are trying to lead faithfully while navigating extremely complicated human dynamics.

WHEN THE SHEPHERD IS WOUNDED

There are moments when ministers themselves need healing but the challenge is that the shepherd often does not know where to lay down the pain.

Members expect strength, leaders above them expect performance, the congregation expects answers but the minister may quietly be asking God the same question David once asked, How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? Psalm 13:1

The reality is that spiritual leaders are not immune to emotional fatigue, they can become discouraged, they can feel isolated, they can feel misunderstood and yet they continue because the call of God is stronger than the temptation to withdraw.

REMEMBERING THAT SHEPHERDS ARE ALSO SHEEP

One truth that can transform how we view spiritual leaders is this:

Before a pastor is a shepherd, he is also a sheep.

He also needs grace, he also needs encouragement, he also needs prayer, he also experiences moments of discouragement and fatigue.

Scripture encourages believers in 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13 to recognize and appreciate those who labour among them.

Not to idolize them but to honour the weight they carry.

WHY MANY MINISTERS KEEP GOING

If ministry brings so much emotional strain, why do so many ministers continue faithfully?

The answer is simple: Calling.

A true minister does not remain because ministry is easy. They remain because they know God called them, they remain because somewhere in the congregation is a life that will be transformed.

They remain because someone listening to that sermon might be on the verge of giving up on life.

They remain because God entrusted people into their care.

Ministry is sustained not by applause, not by loyalty, and not by appreciation, it is sustained by obedience to divine assignment.

CARING FOR SHEPHERDS

One of the healthiest cultures a church can develop is honor and understanding for its leaders.

This does not mean ignoring mistakes or placing leaders beyond accountability but it means recognizing that pastors and ministers are human beings carrying sacred responsibilities.

The next time you sit in a service and hear a minister preach with conviction, remember that the strength you see may have been forged through private battles.

That sermon may have been prepared in the middle of emotional strain.

That smile may be covering a wound.

Yet the minister still stands, still speaks hope, still declares the word of God.

Because shepherds do not abandon their flocks simply because the journey becomes painful.

They continue.

They pray.

They forgive.

They love again.

And often, the same heart that was wounded yesterday becomes the instrument God uses to heal someone tomorrow.

Some stories in Scripture read like quiet narratives until you realize they carry profound prophetic weight for generations that will come after them.

The account of Abigail in First Book of Samuel 25 is one of those stories.

At first glance, it appears to be a domestic drama: a wealthy but foolish man, an insulted warrior, and a wise woman who steps into the middle of an impending disaster.

But if you read the story slowly, something deeper begins to emerge, this is not merely a story about marriage or household conflict.

It is a story about discernment, emotional intelligence, spiritual timing, and the rare wisdom required to protect destiny from unnecessary damage.

More than that, it is a story about a woman who understood both God and human nature and because she did, she was able to stand between rage and regret.

Through her actions, she saved a future king from a mistake that could have followed him to the throne.

A KING WITHOUT A THRONE

At the time this story unfolds, David is not yet king. He carries the oil of kingship, having been anointed earlier in secret, but the throne still belongs to Saul.

Saul’s jealousy has driven David into the wilderness. There he lives with a band of men who have gathered around him, men who recognize something unusual about him even before the kingdom does.

They wander through harsh terrain, surviving by strategy, loyalty, and providence.

In the same region lives a wealthy landowner named Nabal, Nabal is extremely prosperous. He owns thousands of sheep and goats and commands a large household with many servants.

Yet the Scriptures describe him with startling bluntness:

The man was harsh and evil in his dealings.

Then the narrative introduces his wife.

The woman was intelligent and beautiful.

Two individuals living under the same roof, two completely different spirits.

THE CRISIS THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED

While David and his men moved through the wilderness, they had effectively served as an informal protection force for Nabal’s shepherds.

In a region vulnerable to raiders, David’s presence functioned like a living wall.

Later, during the festive season of sheep shearing, a time traditionally marked by generosity and hospitality. David sent messengers to Nabal requesting provisions, it was a reasonable request.

But Nabal responded with contempt:

Who is David? Who is the son of Jesse?

His words were not merely dismissive, they were dishonoring and dishonor has a way of igniting anger.

When the message returned to David, his response was immediate. He strapped on his sword and ordered his men to prepare for battle.

In a moment of wounded pride and indignation, David decided to destroy every male in Nabal’s household, the same mistake the Simeon and Levi, the brothers of Dinah made and made them loose their blessings from their father(Jacob).

And in that moment, the future king of Israel was about to commit a destiny-altering mistake.

THE SERVANTS KNEW WHERE WISDOM LIVED

When Nabal insulted David, the servants did not run to Nabal, they ran to Abigail. This detail reveals something profound: wisdom generates quiet authority.

People instinctively know where stability lives. One servant urgently explained the situation to Abigail that David’s men had been good to them, they had protected them day and night.

Yet Nabal had repaid that kindness with insult.Then the servant concluded with a sobering warning:

Consider what you should do, for harm is determined against our master.

In other words:

Your husband has created a disaster and you may be the only person wise enough to stop it

WISDOM MOVES QUICKLY

The Bible records Abigail’s response in just a few words:

She acted quickly.

There was no delay, no long deliberation. She gathered food, loaded donkeys with provisions, and set out to intercept David before he reached the household.

Wisdom understands timing, some situations cannot be solved tomorrow while some require immediate intervention.

WHEN SHE MET DAVID

When Abigail finally encountered David, she dismounted and bowed before him. Then she said something remarkable:

On me alone, my lord, be the guilt.

She absorbed the tension of a conflict she did not create.

This was not weakness, it was strategic humility. Abigail understood something many people fail to grasp, anger rarely responds well to confrontation, but it often softens in the presence of honour.

She did not shame David, she did not challenge his authority. Instead, she reminded him of who he truly was.

CALLING A KING BACK TO HIMSELF

Abigail’s speech is one of the most remarkable moments in Scripture.

She spoke with courage, wisdom, and prophetic clarity, she reminded David that God had appointed him for a future that must not be stained by unnecessary bloodshed.

The Lord will certainly make my lord a sure house… and evil shall not be found in you all your days.

In essence, she said:

You are destined for greatness. Do not allow this moment of anger to contradict your future.

Then she added words that must have pierced David’s conscience:

Let this not be a grief to you or a stumbling block… that you have shed blood without cause.

Abigail was not just saving her household. She was protecting David’s future reputation as king.

THE POWER OF DISCERNMENT

One of the most striking aspects of this story is Abigail’s discernment, at this moment in history, David is:

• Not yet king

• Living in caves

• Running from Saul

• Leading a group of fugitives

Yet Abigail speaks as though his kingship is inevitable, she recognizes the hand of God on his life before the throne confirms it.

Many people honor crowns but people of discernment recognize oil. They see God’s decisions long before the world acknowledges them.

WISDOM INSIDE A FOOLISH ENVIRONMENT

Another fascinating dimension of this story is Abigail’s environment.

She lives with a man described as foolish, arrogant, and harsh, yet she herself is wise, perceptive, and spiritually alert.

This contrast teaches an important lesson, your environment does not have to determine your spiritual maturity.

It is possible to live within dysfunction and still cultivate extraordinary wisdom.

Abigail did not allow the folly around her to define the clarity within her.

WHEN GOD HANDLES THE OUTCOME

After Abigail returned home, she eventually told Nabal everything that had happened. The Bible says his heart failed within him.

Ten days later:

The Lord struck Nabal, and he died

Abigail did not orchestrate revenge, she did not manipulate events. She simply did what was right and allowed God to resolve the rest.

Sometimes wisdom is not found in controlling outcomes but in trusting God to handle what we cannot.

DESTINY ALIGNMENT

After Nabal’s death, David sent messengers asking Abigail to become his wife. This moment has often been romanticized, but the deeper truth is this:

Abigail had already positioned herself correctly long before the proposal arrived.

She had aligned herself with wisdom, honor, and discernment and alignment with God’s purposes often leads to unexpected doors opening.

Destiny has a way of recognizing those who recognize it.

THE THREE ARCHETYPES IN THE STORY

This narrative quietly reveals three spiritual patterns that still exist today.

Nabal

The spirit of Nabal represents people who mock what God is doing. They dismiss emerging destinies and cannot perceive grace when it appears.

Saul

Though not present in this chapter, Saul represents those who feel threatened by what God has chosen. They recognize the anointing but resist it.

Abigail

Abigail represents those rare individuals who discern God’s purposes early. They speak wisdom in moments of crisis and protect destinies from unnecessary harm.

Every life encounters all three but the tragedy of many stories is that people recognize their enemies faster than they recognize their Abigails.

THE MINISTRY OF WISDOM

Abigail did not hold an official position, she had no platform yet her wisdom altered the trajectory of a king’s life.

She represents what might be called the ministry of wisdom, the quiet but powerful ability to perceive God’s hand and intervene at critical moments.

Many destinies are preserved not by armies or titles, but by timely wisdom and sometimes that wisdom arrives through voices that appear ordinary but carry extraordinary discernment.

A PROPHETIC REFLECTION FOR OUR TIME

Every generation faces moments when anger, ego, or impatience threaten to sabotage what God is building.

In those moments, the world desperately needs Abigail voices. People who can speak truth without dishonor.

People who can calm storms before destruction occurs. People who can recognize God’s purposes long before the applause begins.

Wisdom rarely announces itself but when it appears, it often stands between destiny and disaster.

MY DESIRE FOR YOU

May God grant us the wisdom of Abigail, God will teach us to recognize His hand even when destiny is still hidden.

We will become people who protect futures rather than destroy them in moments of emotion.

And we will develop the kind of discernment that sees oil before crowns appear, purpose before promotion, and God’s decisions before the world confirms them.

Because sometimes the most powerful role a person can play in history is simply to stand in the right place at the right time and speak the wisdom that saves a king.

There are seasons in life when everything feels straightforward. Plans move forward with relative ease, opportunities seem to align naturally, the path ahead appears clear enough to walk without much hesitation.

In those seasons, it is easy to assume that growth comes mainly through information.

Read the right books.

Listen to the right sermons.

Attend the right conferences.

And information certainly matters, it expands vocabulary, introduces ideas and it sharpens perspective.

However, if you watch closely, the people who carry unusual depth rarely became that way through information alone. They went through something.

Somewhere in the background of every mature life is a series of experiences that quietly reshaped the person from the inside.

There is a curriculum God runs in the background of a person’s life. A hidden syllabus, lessons that are not taught in classrooms or pulpits. Lessons that do not come with handouts or certificates, lessons that unfold slowly in the quiet intersections of life and faith.

THE COURSES NO ONE SIGNS UP FOR

It is one thing to know about patience, it is another thing entirely to develop patience while waiting for something that seems delayed beyond explanation.

It is one thing to preach humility, it is another thing to discover humility when life places you in situations where you are misunderstood and powerless to control the narrative.

Life has a way of enrolling us in courses we did not sign up for and the interesting thing about these courses is that they are often disguised as problems.

Disappointments

Misunderstandings

Delays

Moments where the outcome you expected simply does not happen, most people try to withdraw from these classes immediately. They pray for escape, not understanding. They seek relief, not formation but if you slow down long enough to observe carefully, you begin to notice something surprising.

These moments are not always interruptions, sometimes they are instruction.

WHEN GOD PERMITS WHAT HE DOES NOT INITIATE

One of the most difficult truths to process in the life of faith is this, not everything that happens in life is something God directly causes.

But many things are things God permits.

There are moments God does not necessarily author, yet He allows them because He intends to bring something out of them.

God has a remarkable ability to extract meaning from chaos. A message out of every mess, glory out of every gory situation.

What looks like disorder to us often becomes material in the hands of God. If you ever wonder whether painful seasons can still fit into the purposes of God, ask Job.

Job’s story is one of the most profound explorations of suffering ever recorded in Scripture.

Loss after loss.

Pain that seemed undeserved.

Silence that must have felt confusing.

Yet God permitted that season and out of that painful experience emerged an entire book of the Bible, the Book of Job which is often described by theologians as the Bible’s deepest reflection on the theology of suffering.

What looked like chaos became a permanent chapter in humanity’s understanding of God.

Sometimes God permits seasons not because He delights in pain, but because He intends to reveal something through them that could not be revealed any other way and the purpose is for eternal excellency.

WHEN ABANDONMENT IS ACTUALLY TRAINING

Another powerful example appears in the early life of David.

When people think about David, they usually remember the moment he stood before Goliath but that public victory was not where David’s preparation began.

Before the battlefield, there was the wilderness, before the crown, there were sheep, before the applause of a nation, there were long seasons of quiet obscurity.

David was the son left in the fields while others were called into the house. From a human perspective, it may have looked like neglect.

Irrelevance

Abandonment

What looked like isolation was actually preparation, out in those lonely fields David encountered threats that most shepherds would run from.

He fought a bear and he fought a lion and I am sure there are much more he fought but didn’t add to his CV before Saul.

Amazingly, if you study the physical stature of an African lion or a standing bear, their height can come remarkably close to the size of the giant David would later face.

In other words, the battlefield did not introduce David to danger, it revealed what he had already been trained to confront.

While the world saw a shepherd boy with a sling, heaven saw a man who had practiced courage in private long before courage was required in public.

What looked like abandonment was actually training.

In those fields David learned the art of using a sling with deadly precision, what appeared to be an ordinary shepherd’s tool became a decisive weapon.

When David stepped onto the battlefield, the skill developed in obscurity became the instrument of victory.

There is also a fascinating detail in that story that many people overlook, David did not pick up just one stone. Scripture tells us he picked up five smooth stones.

The battle ended with one but David prepared for more. Some commentators believe Goliath had brothers, other giants in the Philistine ranks.

Whether David knew that or not, his preparation reveals something about his mindset. He was ready not just for one confrontation, but for whatever might follow.

Sometimes the private battles of life are not random, they are rehearsal.

THE CLASSROOM OF HUMAN COMPLEXITY

One of the most surprising lessons in God’s hidden curriculum is learning how to deal with people.

Not just loving people when they are kind but understanding people when they are complicated.

Human beings are beautifully complex, they carry histories you cannot see. They wrestle with insecurities they rarely admit, they interpret your life through the lens of their own experiences.

Sometimes admiration slowly becomes comparison, comparison quietly becomes resentment and resentment eventually becomes misunderstanding.

You may find yourself in situations where someone interprets your journey in ways you never intended not because you wronged them but because your existence raises questions in their own heart.

Questions about fairness|| Questions about recognition|| Questions about why certain things seem to happen for one person and not another

These moments can be deeply painful, especially when they come from people who once stood close to you but they also teach something profound.

Not every conflict is about wrongdoings , often times than not, cit is about perception. Sometimes it is about internal battles the other person is fighting.

Sometimes it is about the mysterious ways life distributes opportunity, responsibility, and visibility. Understanding this does not remove the pain of misunderstanding, it gives you clarity, it teaches you not to rush toward bitterness, it teaches you to guard your heart without hardening it.

It teaches you that sometimes the most dignified response to confusion is quiet integrity.

THE PERSON YOUR EXPERIENCES PRODUCES

Perhaps the most important lesson in this hidden curriculum is this:

You must decide what kind of person your experiences will produce.

Pain can make people bitter, misunderstanding can make people defensive, disappointment can make people withdraw but pain can also produce wisdom.

Misunderstanding can produce patience while disappointment can produce resilience. The difference is not the experience itself, the difference is how the experience is processed.

Growth is rarely comfortable but it is always formative. The lessons life teaches quietly often become the wisdom we carry publicly. The struggles we navigate privately often become the empathy we extend to others.

And the seasons that once confused us the most sometimes become the stories that help someone else find clarity.

A QUIET REALIZATION

There is a curriculum God runs quietly in the background of our lives.

A hidden syllabus, no enrollment forms, no graduation ceremonies, just lessons woven into the ordinary flow of life and if you remain attentive long enough, you eventually realize something profound.

Life is not simply happening to you, it is forming you.

Remember, situations and circumstances do not happen to you, they happen for you, they happen for your learning, lifting, rising and mentoring a people.

What felt like delay was preparation and what looked like abandonment was training.

What looked like chaos was curriculum, and what felt like delay was preparation for a future you could not yet see.

And through it all, God was quietly shaping the person you were becoming.

LET US PRAY

Lord, help me recognize Your hand even in seasons I do not fully understand.

Give me wisdom in moments that feel confusing.

Give me patience in seasons that feel delayed.

Give me humility in experiences that reveal the hidden parts of my heart.

Teach me not just to escape difficult seasons, but to learn from them.

And in every circumstance, shape my character into something that reflects Your heart.

There is a kind of strength that rarely makes headlines, it does not always look like power, does not always sound loud, doesn’t always receive applause but it holds families and organizations together, it stabilizes communities and it carries destinies.

Very often, that strength is carried by women and that is why International Women’s Day cannot simply be another symbolic date on the calendar.

It is a moment to pause and recognize something the world often overlooks, the quiet architecture of strength that many women embody every day, not just in the obvious places but in the hidden places where life is actually sustained.

TO THE YOUNG WOMAN WHO IS STILL BECOMING

If you are a young woman reading this, a student, someone early in your career, someone still figuring out life, this message is very much for you.

Sometimes International Women’s Day can feel like it is celebrating women who already have everything figured out.

The successful ones, the established ones, the women with clear accomplishments.

But the truth is this:

The most important seasons of your life are often the ones where you are still becoming.

Still discovering your voice, still understanding your strengths, still learning how to carry your emotions, your ambitions, your faith, and your relationships.

Those seasons are not empty, they are formative. Many young women today are carrying pressures that previous generations did not experience in the same way.

The pressure to succeed quickly, the pressure to appear confident even when you are uncertain. The pressure created by constant comparison on social media, the pressure to have clarity about your future before you have had enough time to grow into it.

All of that can be emotionally heavy but your life is not a race and God is not in a hurry with you.

If you read Scripture carefully, many of the women God used were young when their stories began.

Mary was a young woman when heaven entrusted her with the responsibility of carrying the Savior of the world.

God does not wait for someone to be older before He begins to work through their life. He begins with hearts that are open to Him.

Your dreams matter, your questions matter, your growth matters, even the seasons where you feel uncertain are not wasted.

God often does His deepest shaping before the world notices anything significant happening.

THE INVISIBLE LABOUR MANY WOMEN CARRY

Many women live at the intersection of multiple responsibilities. They are building careers, nurturing families, holding friendships together, serving in ministries, supporting people emotionally, praying for everyone else and somewhere in the middle of all that, they are also trying to take care of their own hearts.

Psychologically, women often become the emotional stabilizers of their environments. They notice when someone is hurting before anyone else does, they sense tension early, they read atmospheres quickly, they carry the emotional temperature of rooms most people walk through casually.

This sensitivity is not weakness, it is a form of intelligence but when it is constantly poured out without being replenished, it can become exhausting.

Many women are strong not because life has been easy, they are strong because circumstances required strength from them.

The woman everyone calls strong is often someone who never had the luxury of collapsing.

GOD HAS ALWAYS SEEN WOMEN DIFFERENTLY

If you study Scripture carefully, you will discover something profound. God has never treated women as secondary participants in His story.

From the very beginning, women have stood at critical intersections of divine purpose. A woman carried the promise of redemption into the world through Mary.

Women were the first witnesses of the resurrection when many others were still hiding in fear (Luke 24).

In John 4, a conversation between Jesus and a Samaritan woman turned into an entire city encountering God.

Scripture is filled with these moments, quiet encounters that later reveal themselves to be strategic moves in God’s redemptive narrative.

This tells us something important, women are not simply participants in what God is doing. They are often custodians of pivotal moments in divine history.

THE PROPHETIC SENSITIVITY MANY WOMEN CARRY

There is also something spiritually unique about the way many women perceive things. They often discern atmospheres quickly, they sense when something is wrong even before words are spoken, they carry compassion deeply.

And sometimes, they intercede long before others even recognize there is something to pray about.

In many homes, the first person who begins to war in prayer for a family is often a woman.

In many ministries, the people quietly sustaining the spiritual atmosphere are women.

This is not accidental, it is part of the grace God has placed on many of their lives.

Women often discern shifts before environments change.

STRENGTH DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD CARRY EVERYTHING ALONE

Display of strength is good but strength must never become a prison. The woman who encourages everyone else must also have spaces where she herself is encouraged.

The one who keeps everyone emotionally afloat must also have moments where she can rest without explanation.

The one who has been dependable for everyone must also encounter people who are dependable for her.

Even the strong need safe places, even the resilient need rest, even those who carry others must sometimes be carried themselves.

MY WORD FOR WOMEN

If you are a woman reading this, hear this clearly.

Your life is not small, even the things you think are ordinary may actually be quiet acts of divine stewardship.

The encouragement you gave someone, the prayer you prayed when no one knew, the emotional labour you carried in difficult seasons.

God records those things.Scripture reminds us in Galatians 6:9 saying Let us not grow weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

That promise includes you. Your kindness is not wasted, your prayers are not wasted, your sacrifices are not invisible.

God sees and the God who sees also rewards openly.

International Women’s Day, this is more than a celebration, it is a blessing.

To the woman who has been strong for everyone else, may you find spaces where you can finally rest without guilt.

To the woman carrying responsibilities heavier than they should have been, may help locate you.

To the woman quietly healing from wounds others may never fully understand, may grace meet you gently.

To the woman who sometimes wonders if anyone truly notices everything she does, God does.

Heal hidden wounds, restore drained strength and surround them with people who will also pour into them the way they have poured into others.

Let favour open doors for them, let peace guard their hearts, let their lives become visible testimonies of Your goodness.
