💥 Brand Name Problem

I decided on NotionPlus without looking at Notion's pricing page, because I was using Notion for free. I realized it after I released the product 😅

I'm afraid that one day Notion won't want me to use their name. I looked for a generic domain name for a new brand but didn't like any of them. 🤷‍♂️

🐞 Bugs

It has become a sea of bugs, adding small features from time to time. So much so that even the design has bugs. The other day, I opened a pop-up on my mobile, but I couldn't close it. The button to close it moves off the screen. 🤦‍♂️

I want to fix all this nonsense and release NotionPlus 2 with better features and, better interface. Please help me with this goal. I am here for you!

Updates

Updating the Order of Images

Now we can update the order of the images. You can sort the first uploaded image by dragging it to the 2nd place or the end.

General Interface Updated

While there are still some missing interfaces, the majority have been updated. Many widget-adding and editing pages, including the image upload page, have been further simplified.

Notion Unicodes Updated

Added the following pagination to the top. This solved the problem of continuous scrolling.

Go Dashboard

The "login or sign up" buttons in the header and hero section on the homepage have been updated with a button to go to the dashboard after logging in. It used to force login every time we clicked it.

New EasterEggs Added! ????

There are dozens of easter-eggs on the website. Some of them happen when you type "Minecraft" and "Undertale" on the search page from the dashboard :) Or there is a Konami code on the landing page. These are just a small part. Discover the rest yourself.

Image Check Feature Added!

Added image control feature for those who add wrong image links in the image widget. Most of the people don't know the image link. Some people think the Google Drive folder link is an image. Some think that when they add the link to the image on their computer, everyone will see it. file:\\\\users\image.png These do not work, but people do not know. Now they will know. :)

New Widgets on Widget Add Page

I have seen that some people still do not know the features of NotionPlus. For example, I was repeatedly asked to add a quotes widget. However, this feature has been around for a long time and works well. But people couldn't find it in the text widget. That's why the "quotes widget" button has been added to the add widget page to add it more practically. Similar widgets were added in the same way.

Updated the Order of Shortcut Widget Buttons

Images: 3, Buttons: 2, Texts: 1, Icons: 1, Announcements: 2, Dividers: 1, Counters: 1 Such buttons used to be added randomly. Now they are updated according to the most used ones.

Improve: Fixed Pop Up Problem in Image Widget!

Even if you turn off the pop up feature in any image widget, it remained open. And it was never turned off. This bug has been fixed. Thank you very much to the member who reported the error with feedback.

Improve: Fixed Image Issue in Google Drive Links!

I got feedback that they are trying to open Google Drive links as images. Without changing this behavior of the users, the images in the Google Drive link now open without any problems!

Improve: Updated The Pagination Style

Updated the pagination style on Widgets and Search pages. It used to be listed in order as an image, button, etc... Now, no matter which widget, it shows whatever was added last at the top.

New Feature: Notion Counter Widget

I received anonymous feedback a couple of weeks ago asking for Counter to be added. I added it. I published it in its most minimal form. There are no classic N+ features. (Angle, color, theme, font) I will add these features over time. I will write a detailed blog post about the Notion Counter Widget today/tomorrow.

I wrote "enriched and unusual designs" on the homepage of my website, but I never described it as "rich Notion widgets". Pascio, aka The Notion Template Guy, who is famous in the Notion community, said it himself last week. He used the word "rich" in his Instagram post.

I've been struggling to define the product for a long time. I've adopted the word "rich". It reminded me of a still from the film "The Greatest Showman". In this film, the story of P.T. Barnum is told as a musical. When a journalist uses the word "circus", Mr. Barnum renames his business as "The Barnum Circus". Today, when I describe NotionPlus, I will say "Rich Notion Widgets" :)

1. Improve: The Easy Way to Edit Your Widgets

Previously, you used to log in to NotionPlus and find and edit your widget from the Widgets page on the Dashboard. With this new feature, in the Notion template where you add the widget, the "Edit" text appears in the lower left corner that only you can see. It only appears in your widgets when your account is open. A small feature for more practical use.

I received an anonymous feedback this week, which said the following.

I love how customizable the widgets are. I especially love the announcement widget, it's very useful. I would love more functional widgets like counters. Overall, it's great!

In addition, a Notioner named Pascio, whose name we often hear in the Notion world, featured NotionPlus in his Instagram post. It was something I never planned. I realized it by chance. I was so surprised and felt like my heart was going to explode. It was an incredible feeling! 😊

➕ What is the New Feature Added This Week?

1. New Feature: Visitor Counter Widget

You can print the number of times a widget is displayed on the screen. You can use this as a visitor counter. For example "How many people have viewed this template?". Read the blog post to use it!

2. Notion Style Button Designs

A button design similar to Notion's logo has been added. There are 2 variations!

⚙ What is the New Improve Added This Week?

1. Improve: Innovations Notification

The "Innovations" notification on the dashboard was always active. Therefore, it always appeared in red. This has been fixed. Now it will only be red when there are innovations and it will say "NEW!".

2. Improve: Changelog and Feedback Links

I created the link NotionPlus.dev/changelog for easy access to the changelog. Also, the site was giving an error with the "/" added at the end. I fixed this and now it doesn't give an error on the feedback link.

3. Improve: Announcement Panel Listing

The posts in the announcement panel were displayed randomly. Now the latest post has been updated to appear at the top!

4. Non-Working Login Buttons Fixed!

A bug was reported that there were non-working login buttons on pricing, affiliates, widgets, terms, and privacy pages. These pages have been fixed.

5. Fixed the Same Email Problem!

In the Pricing process, people can write different emails that they pay with the email they are a member of NotionPlus. This is a wrong process. Both must be the same email, otherwise they cannot see each other. That's why I added a warning between pricing and the LemonSqueezy page.

6. Landing Page Updated!

Added colors to the background of the Hero section that change randomly each time the page is refreshed. Also, the video image has been updated.

What Has Been Added?

1. Weekly success report added!

Now every week on Monday, a report showing how successful you have been will appear on your dashboard. You can read the details about the subject from the NotionPlus Blog.

2. Changelog added!

I had it before but I removed it, and now I added it again. I will take care to use this place regularly. It has been added to the "innovations" menu in the dashboard.

3. The last 10 widgets added!

You will now be able to see the last 10 widgets you have shared in your dashboard. You will be able to access them quickly without going to the Widgets page!

What Has Been Improved?

1. Account deletion system automated!

I'd like to keep this news confidential, but it would be unethical. I don't want you to delete your accounts, but if you want to delete your accounts, the account deletion system has been renewed! Your account is now automatically deleted after 30 days when you create an account deletion request. If you regret it within 30 days, you have a chance to recover it. After 30 days, however, accounts and all your data are permanently deleted!

2. The feedback link has been updated!

Instead of entering the site and searching for the feedback link to give feedback to NotionPlus, you can now quickly give feedback with "NotionPlus.dev/feedback"!

3. The design of the dashboard has been updated to resemble Notion.

It's better. It's prettier.

4. Affiliate commission has been reduced to 40%.

I was going to make it 70%, but everyone said I was crazy. So I went to 50% and finally 40%. My gut says 25%. The issue here is not 25% or 40%. The crazy part is that I give this every month. When you subscribe a person, you get a 40% commission for as long as that person subscribes. That's why people think I'm crazy. ':) Affiliate gives automatic approval. You can get links quickly!

What's New in N+?

Notion Countdown Widget

(countdown …) You can create a countdown with this usage method. The good thing is that there is no specific format. So you can write it as (countdown 11/30/2023) or you can write it as (countdown 10:25:00). Or you can combine them all (countdown 11/30/2023 10:25:00).

In order to use the Countdown widget, you need to use the NotionPlus Text widget. The future of the Text widget is very bright.

The Much-Awaited Feature is Finally Live!

N+ Development Reports (What's Added? What's Updated?)

1. Widget Analytics added

You will now have access to the statistics of widget views. You will see daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and total (lifetime) views. This has many advantages. For example, you can measure the statistics on Notion pages and determine the pages that are of interest according to which page gets more views. Or you can increase their excitement by sending an email to the customers of your templates whose clicks are decreasing. These are 2 small examples. For more, you should definitely read the blog post!

2. Fixed the problem of the Card Theme in the Image Theme staying small on mobile.

3. Information text has been added so that you can make more beautiful designs for the Card Theme.

4. Bugs have been fixed on the payment page.

5. Added annotation for Link with SourceLink, which was confusing when adding images.

6. Removed the requirement to scroll to the bottom of the page for each update. Flying update button added!

7. The NotionPlus badge in the embed of paid users was not removed. We removed it. :)

8. Badges have been updated. N+ has been added to the bottom left corner of free members' embeds.

Future Plans

Brand new widgets are coming for N+! Since I like the usage logic in the Text widget very much, N+ codes/formulas (I haven't found a name for it yet) will open the door to many widgets.

Which Widgets are coming?

- The image upload feature is coming soon! You will no longer have to add images only with URLs. You will be able to upload them!

- The progress bar is coming! You will be able to add a percentage! For example, details such as what percentage of your product is finished can be added!

The target audience of NotionPlus is those who produce Notion templates. It creates many widgets that solve their problems.

NotionPlus is similar to Photoshop. It allows you to create more aesthetic notion templates. In Photoshop the main thing is creativity, not using the program. The same is true in NotionPlus. The more creative you are, the crazier things you can produce.

For example, I'm a Notion template creator and I'll show you my latest Notion templates.

Using NotionPlus Effectively?

For example, there is a digital time on the right side. I can change the background color, font, and text color of the time, which makes it look quite cute.

There are quotes just below it. Its background and font can be changed. I do these with the NotionPlus Text Widget.

I put a clickable image in the lower left corner. From here I can get feedback for that template. This is a great thing for me to improve the product. I won't spoil the aesthetics while doing this.

In the bottom right corner, there is a tweet button. It's a button that encourages people to share on social media. It's an image, but it's clickable. In Notion's own feature, you cannot link to images and redirect them to other sites.

There is also a popup feature in the lower right corner. When you click it, it opens a popup and shares it in this way. I have never seen this feature in any widget tool, only in NotionPlus.
