The Vibe:

There is so much going on in this painting, but it comes to no surprise, because Gemini is a very multifaceted sign full of duality and curiosity. There is definitely a feeling of overwhelm when viewing this painting. One does not know where to start and what to focus on. I believe that is the message Bosschart was trying to convoy when expressing the essence of the Gemini mind, which is often scattered. Before we breakdown each image in the painting, the colors used remind me of the Sacral charka (red) and the Solar Plexus charka (yellow). These chakras sit right below and above our navel and connect us to our creative self expression and confidence. Two attributes that are second nature to Gemini. There is also this feeling of happiness and balance with the colors and orientation of each figure. The Gemini painting is loaded with motifs, but there is this calm positive flow that carries a sense of balanced ease.

A week ago I got a polar bear aka puppy and my sleep schedule has never been the same. Meet Nash, my English Cream Golden Retriever! He is a Taurus sun, Gemini Moon, Sagittarius Rising with an Aries Stellium. He was almost an Aries like me, but I am thankful for some earthy energy with this energetic chart. I will be going on a Zoom reading hiatus for the next few months. With multiple freelance writing projects, a new puppy coming (prepare for loads of pictures on my instagram) and a major kitchen renovation in our house, I will be taking a break from Zoom readings, but will keep Recorded Readings open. Decoding Bosschart’s Taurus Painting:

The Vibe:

The Green Goddess is in full effect within the Taurus painting. You really feel the earth connection which is the element of this sign. There are multiple shades of greens met with blue sky and trees. It’s as if you have stepped into a garden and what lies before you are many different characters that we will decode one by one.

There is still so much promise for 2026 musically, but I will admit it has not been as strong of a year as 2025. Which leads me to this unboxing video. Most of the records in this haul are classics from the 70s. I have said many times before that part of the journey of collecting vinyl is balancing how many oldies and newbies you purchase to add to your collection. I feel it is no surprise that with a lackluster year in music so far, I have gravitated towards purchasing some of my favorite classic albums. Decoding Bosschart’s Aries Painting:

The Vibe:

Right away you can feel the raw intensity of this Aries painting. Bosschart went full throttle and depicted Aries in a traditional Martian inspired fashion. Full of rage, war, passion and ferocity the paining wants you do dive head first right into it just as the warrior and ram are doing. What they are charing at, we have no idea, but that is the motto of Aries, ‘act first, think later.’ As an Aries myself I can speak to this impulsivity that sometimes it is better to chase and move ahead than to wait and do nothing with your life. This painting is action filled and full of bravery. Aries is the pioneer, the fearless leader and the first sign of the zodiac and that is the vibe Bosschart wanted to portray. Aries is no subtle sign, Aries is fire and Aries is the start of the zodiac now lets go headfirst into the action of this painting.

I am starting a new series, again haha! As an Aries Sun with Mars in my 5H we do not just stick to one thing, we have too many passions we are constantly juggling. In this new series, What I’m Loving Lately, I will be sharing a comprehensive guide on all things music, film, fashion, culture etc that are lifting up my spirits and keeping me inspired. As an artist and designer I am always on the prowl for new creative happenings and dive heavily into artistic culture. I am always asked what inspires me and every day I feel something new brings me joy and enriches my life. Life is worth living when there is incredible art and music around. This is a bi-weekly newsletter will compile my favorite cultural moments and will be organized by creative category. Here is March 1 below! Enjoy!

Music:

I listen to tons of new and old music on the weekly, so this category will mostly like be my most explored. Recently, I dove into a mixture of old classics and new tunes, all with completely different vibes. Here they are!

1.) Band: Hole Album: Celebrity Skin (1998)

I have no idea why it has taken me until 2026 to listen to this specific Hole album in its entirety. If you have been following me for a while now, Hole’s album Live Through This, is my favorite album of all time and I recently had the privilege of owning it on an exclusive purple vinyl. Dreams do come true. This month I have been looking to purchase more Hole vinyl records and realized I never fully listened to their 1998 album, Celebrity Skin. I of course know by heart the tops songs on this albums which are Celebrity Skin, Awful, Malibu and Dying. Yet, for some bazaar and embarrassing reason I never listened to the rest of the album. Now I ABSOLUTELY love this album and it has been such a treat to revisit and discover what felt like new Hole music for me even though this album is almost 30 years old. I am now obsessed with this record and Courtney Love is a musical genius.

This album is very much about the horrors of living in LA as a girl, teen and woman and trying to make it in the entertainment industry. When I listen to this album I can’t help but think of Sofia Coppola’s film the Bling Ring. It is about a group of teens so obsessed with so celebrity culture that they end up robbing the homes of many A-list celebrities. The story is a wild ride and when I listen to Celebrity Skin, I feel the album still resonates but now with influencer culture and social media.

My new favorite songs on this album are Boys on the Radio, Heaven Tonight and my absolute favorite on the album is the banger Playing Your Song! I have probably listened to this song 50X in the past week and still cannot get enough of it. I’m also realizing that it is super difficult to find pressings of this album on vinyl. Six months ago they released a special edition of Celebrity Skin on vinyl, but I am too late to the game and it is now sold out, understandably. So I guess I have to put my dreams of owning this album on vinyl on hold until a new reissue is released. In the meantime I am having a blast signing along to these songs as I am driving in my car.

2.) Artist: Mitski Album: Nothings Going to Happen to Me (2026)

It’s Pisces season and Mitski’s new album, Nothings Going to Happen to Me, captures the watery emotional vibe completely. It’s less emo, but more weird art school girl. It feels very paper-mâché/cut-out-doll in its composition. However it is still very quirky coming from Mistki, especially after her last two albums which I personally could not get into and were kind of depressing. Nothings Going to Happen to Me feels like the old Mitski. It’s no Bury Me At Makeout Creek, but it still hits in a similar more subtle way. I am really enjoying it so far and it is inspiring me to create art again with my hands. As I listen to the new Misti, I am reminded of a recent Elle Fanning photoshoot for January 2026 issue of Who What Wear and photographed by Szilveszter Mako.

3.) Artist: Kim Gordon Album: Play Me (2026)

Play Me is the latest album by Sonic Youth alumni, the legend and ultimate coolest, Kim Gordon. This is Kim Gordon’s Best solo work in my opinion. Play Me is a fusion of late 80s/early 90s R&B, Rap and Hip-Hop mixed with a modern day techy edge. The way this album is mixed sounds really fresh and new, but also nostalgic and familiar. It feels like she time traveled to the early 90s and tried to recreate that vibe back into the 21st century. It reminds me of NYC in that era and the scenes Kim would describe in her brilliant memoir Girl In A Band, about her time living in the city at the end of the 20 Century. I hope I am as cool as Kim when I am in my 70s. Here is a Substack post from a few years ago about my experience seeing Kim live in Detroit.

TV/Film

I have not been watching much on TV right now, have been trying to watch more films on the Criterion Channel. Here is what I am tuning into lately.

1.) Show: Love Story - John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bassette (2026)

Like everyone else right now my absolute favorite show on TV now is Love Story. It is so well executed and really transports you back into early 90s NYC. Everything is perfect about this show. From the early 90s NYC aesthetics, the music, fashion, casting and gorgeous cinematography, you really feel you are there. Not to mention a few episodes of Love Story is directed by Crystle Roberson, a Black woman! So of course the vibes are correct! The story of JFK Jr. and Carolyn has always interested me, for not only did it end in tragedy, but Carolyn was a woman working in fashion in NYC, like I once was. I also love her sophisticated classic minimalist style that is still so timeless today. I am currently working on a few Substack articles about Carolyn’s astrology and it is very illuminating. Make sure you tune in for these articles to drop soon!

2.) Film: Breathless Directed By: Jean-Luc Godard (1960)

I am a big avant garde film nerd especially when it comes to French New Wave films. I have seen many Godard films, so I am shocked it has taken me this long to see the classic Breathless. This film stars two of my favorite actors from this film era, Jean Seberg (whose life story was tragically cut too short) and Jean-Paul Belmondo who I have seen in many Godard films. My main inspiration for watching this film was due to the new Nouvelle Vague film that came out last year. Nouvelle Vague is inspired by the behind the scenes creation of Breathless. I knew before I jumped into Nouvelle Vague that I needed to watch the classic Breathless first, and I am so glad I did. I really enjoyed this film and I understand why it is one of the most revolutionary films for its time. I plan on watching Nouvelle Vague this upcoming week and I am really looking forward to it!

Fashion:

Designer: Chloe Season: Winter 2026

Chloe has always been one of my favorite luxury fashion houses. I am a sucker for their modern 70s aesthetic, for I was once a hippie in my past life. Chloe always kills it, but for me their recent winter 2026 really stuck out and I cannot wait to recreate some of these looks in my own wardrobe. First off - plaid! I love when plaid is done Right. From the oversized buffalo plaid coat to the beautiful color combos of the maxi shirks and dresses layered with blazers, I am here for it. The color story really works with the light earthy pastels against the more vibrant jewel tones. The juxtaposition of color and print felt fresh and effortless. I am also seeing more mixing of black and brown this fall season. What once was a fashion faux pas now works seamlessly. It feels so modern, like mixed metal jewelry, who care about the rules?

I think the showstopper for me in the collection was the accessories. I collect antique glassware so the porcelain mini purses and necklaces were a huge hit for me. I want them all immediately. My absolute favorite were the necklace scarfs! I have never seen anything like it and I know I can create something similar to spruce up my fall style. The entire collection was style with so much consideration when it came to layering the accessories, showcasing all the tiny details of the designs and the few knits that were shown had incredible craftsmanship. The hair and makeup was on-point with a messy 1/2 duo with braids which really tied tougher the nonchalant effortless look that is Chloe. Also, the cloak is So Back! I will definitely be investing in one this fall! Bravo to creative director Chemena Kamali with another fabulous season for Chloe under her belt.

Decoding Bosschart’s Pisces Painting:

The Vibe:

Bosschart takes us under the sea for this painting. There we are met with the Greek god Poseidon and the two interlocking fish of Pisces. The border of the painting is very sea-like, full of different colored sea urchins, shells, and underwater plant life. Out of all of Bosschart’s paintings I feel that his Pisces painting is the most self-explanatory. Pisces is a water sign and Poseidon is the god of the sea, it cannot be more direct than that.

Astrologers knew going into this eclipse season that it was going to be rough and full of conflict, but the story is not over yet. The remnants of an eclipse can be felt weeks and months after, so the cause and effect is just beginning. I would describe the first eclipse as more of a global happening due to its collective nature in Aquarius, while our second eclipse in Virgo will be more personal as it can cause destruction or change to our daily routines and overall mental wellbeing. Below is the chart of the Virgo Total Lunar Eclipse and a diagram from the Astrology Podcast of all the past and future Virgo/Pisces eclipses until 2027. I find it really interesting that almost all the eclipses on this Virgo/Pisces axis are Full Moons. One common theme among this eclipse pattern is death and conflict. It is not too unsurprising, for Pisces rules the 12H which is an end to the zodiac cycle and can bring death, disease, prison, cults etc to the fold.

In September 2025, during the last Pisces/Virgo axis we had the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on September 10 and Israel bombing Doha, Qatar on September 12. Later in the month, Israel not only continued to attack Gaza killing dozens more of Palestinians, but prevented aid from coming into Gaza resulting in a famine. Disaster falls when this ecliptic cycle aligns and I would anticipate more catastrophic events in the weeks and months to come.

To focus on today’s Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse I like to start with the Sabian Symbol for Virgo 13°. It is, A Powerful Statesman Overcomes A State of Political Hysteria. The Keywords, The focusing of the collective need for order and structural interdependence into a personage who incarnates the answer to this need. The Keywords, Charisma. It has been said many times that ‘no one is coming to save us, so we have to save ourselves’, but will this remain true with this eclipse? Collectively, we want someone to save us from the fresh hell we are experiencing daily living in the United States under this current joke of an administration. In reality, Americans have been very sheltered from global conflict while countries in the Middle East have been no stranger to constant upheaval for centuries. The bombings are not happening on our homeland, at least not yet, but in the Middle East, that is a privilege. Our American fresh hell is relatively new compared to what other counties have faced in the past, and that we must take note of. The privilege of just an ounce of discomfort in the US, allows many to give up and fall into apathy instead of looking directly in the mirror of how we can change as a nation. No one is coming to save us from the discomfort of ourselves. The root cause to all our nations problems is greed and the evils of white supremacy destroying not only America but globally causing pain and chaos.

This symbol says that it is a statesman who will come to our aid. A statesman is defined as an experienced and respected senior political leader, figure, or diplomat. I honestly do not know who would be the right person to save America now, for I do not think we have one and that is our own karma to sort through as a nation. There are good people doing good things in politics of course, but I can only name a handful. We are all wondering why Congress is not doing anything to stop Trump and this unnecessary bombing in the Middle East. Does anyone have the power and guts to stop all this nonsense from this administration? Does anyone have a working plan on how to make lasting positive changes? These are all hypotheticals, but maybe this person is not in the public eye or is someone unsuspecting calling the shots? This statesman ‘savior’ may or may not be public figure, but their efforts can create a movement with lasting effects, for better or for worse. Maybe someone, an anti-hero will create a dramatic act that will force change upon the collective, like Luigi Mangione who killed the United Healthcare CEO.

America needs someone level headed with a detailed plan of action and is a person here to serve the good of the American people. This is peak Virgo attributes the sign this eclipse falls in. Whomever this person is will calm the storm. It may be a subtle use of soft power, it could be a law or guardrails that discontinues the atrocities of the Trump regime. There needs to be a stop to the madness and what sign better to control chaos other than Virgo. We need balance and we need order and hopefully we can find this by the Libra Full Moon on April 1, 2026 which will also be at 13°. Dane Rudhyar states for Virgo 13°, that ‘In time, the leader will be worshiped as the “divine Father” of the society he structured.’ As I read this, I am reminded how Charlie Kirk’s death overshadowed his vile messaging as a racist messiah. Will this new ‘divine Father’ be Trump playing god and confusing his cult into believing that he was really trying to deescalate the conflict he so willingly started?

The Trump regime relies on lies and propaganda to keep the cult afloat and this is one of the dangers of this symbol; emotional manipulation and misinformation. During these twisted times, where evil men in power rarely face the consequences of their actions, I would not be surprised if Trump continues to get off scot-free, as if the last few months of escalating war in the Middle East never happened. The American memory is short and when you are in a cult, you see what you want to see.

Though Rudhyar writes ‘in time’, and this person is supposed to be levelheaded, politically savvy and demands control. The results of this persons contribution may not be felt until weeks, months or even years later. Sometimes change takes time and with Pluto in Aquarius 5°, it may take decades before we see all the lessons reveal themselves. Subconsciously, we know the attributes of who we need our next leader to be, but can we collectively manifest them? There is a major election happening in Texas today for a senate seat. Maybe the change will happen there and a new guard will enter to not only have a major shift in largest state in the country, but nation wide? Saturn and Neptune are still conjunct in Aries, so anything volatile can happen now. Who will have the balls to stand up to a dementia ridded mad king and his corrupted court? Who will charm their way into power to control the hysteria? Let’s see what mysteries the eclipse will reveal.

In my previous Tarot Energy of the 2026 posts, I wrote about the inspired action of the Magician and the turning of our fate with the Wheel of Fortune. Now this action oriented energy aligns with Fire Horse in Chinese Astrology. The Magician is card 1 in the tarot and the Horse is a Universal Year 1 in numerology. The Year of the Horse is a rare fiery event that occurs once every 60 years in the Chinese calendar. Meaning the last time this rare event occurred was in 1966. The Year of the Fire Horse will not return until 2086, so this is most likely to be our only fire horse year in our lifetime.

This year the Fire Horse connects with the fiery astrological alignments of Saturn, Neptune, and Chiron all in the zodiac sign of Aries and will ignite even stronger once Jupiter enters Leo this summer. Some keywords that align with the fire horse are courage, will, vitality, movement, freedom, intentions, life force, intensity, rapid change and direct boldness.

Shedding of the Snake:

The Year of the Fire Horse starts on February 17, the same day as a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius and a Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries 0°. The Fire Horse hits the ground running and is not a subtle energy. Last year in 2025, the Year of the Wood Snake was all about revelations and shedding what no longer aligned in our lives. The spiritual purpose of a Snake year is to help you have discernment over your impulses. This foresight was to help you take clear action on your life once the Year of the Horse started.

This zodiac sequence can be compared to roots forming as a plant grows or our breath held in to then be released. The Year of the Snake helped you let go of outdated identities, had you question your ambitions and helped you get honest with how you were nurturing your mental, emotional, spiritual and physical worlds. The Year of the Fire Horse will be a year of creative courage, clarity, growth and confidence. It will not be chaotic, but filled with integrity, awareness and action. The Year of the Snake taught you how to see clearly and the Year of the Fire Horse teaches you how to move without betraying that clarity.

Forward Action:

During the Year of the Fire Horse you can expect forward action, courage over comfort, travel, relocation, expansion, progress over perfection, following your intuition, expressing your energy with confidence and making bolder moves. The Fire Horse does not play it safe and neither do any of the fire signs. We are in a firey era, so look to the fire signs in your life as examples and embrace the fire energy in your natal chart for re-direction and creative awakenings. The Fire Horse message with the Wheel of Fortune, is fortune favors the bold. The Fire Horse message with the Magician is action creates clarity! If you are waiting for better timing, you will be left behind. You need to connect with the moment and act on your instincts. 2026 will reward those who move not those who wait.
