We’re half-way into the year and there’s been the uprising of what Government should be and what they ought to do. All over world, citizens expect that any good government would be able to execute justice, provide security and sustainable livelihood for its citizens – which are core needs of the human experience. Unfortunately, the opposite has been the case for most part. Many are looking forward to a time when a real and true government would be in position and execute justice, secure its people, provide sustainable livelihood and be concerned about her welfare. So, I thought to myself, what if the government we all need is not earthly? What if all the political ideologies about government we’ve ever known has been all wrong? What if we need a new political ideology that’ll sustain a formidable society in our time? I would want to introduce another perspective to looking at this subject and maybe by the end of these series, you’d be able to discern what ideology this is.

Contrary to what many believe, God created Earth as an outpost of heaven – an extension of His throne, where He’d not directly be in the affairs but one of His kind will be there - man. Earth is not a separate entity from heaven. It’s actually an extension of it. And he designed this earth to be ruled by men. (Gen. 1:26, Psalm 115:16)

Every government on earth has to be sustained by a viable economy to ensure its smooth running. Previous kingdoms like the Roman, Babylonian empires, etc. have thrived on human strength, strong economies and have fallen. In God’s kingdom, the economy that sustains it is called “Eternal life.” So, one might ask, what exactly is God’s kingdom and what does it look like to be in His kingdom?

God’s kingdom is not a specific place, neither is it a political system but an environment or atmosphere where His will is done and uppermost, in the hearts of His people and ultimately over all creation. It’s a kingdom that cannot be shaken neither can it be destroyed. It endures forever. God’s kingdom consists of very living and non-living thing in the earth realm, and even, the metaphysical realm. Everything that came to be has always been in God and when they were to come into material form, he spoke to the things He wanted them to consist of; When He wanted sea animals and fish, He spoke to the waters, when He wanted vegetation, He spoke to the land, when He wanted birds, He spoke to the firmament. So every created thing found form and life from its source. When it came to creating man, HE spoke to Himself because He wanted man to consist of His own life. He also wanted all the entire creation to be ruled and governed by this very life through the agency of mankind. Eternal life is not just life unending, it’s the very life of God at work in His creation through Christ. It’s a full and vast life that gives God’s creation endless possibilities.

By reason of this eternal life, the kingdom of God is able to spread by colonization – not in the natural sense, but in a way where the influence of God’s nature can be felt in any territory. As a child of God, once you have the life of God through Christ, the kingdom of God begins to work within you. God’s earnest desire is that His kingdom can be felt everywhere, so the world can be a better place. His kingdom perpetuates on the earth by His children who have the indestructible life of God in them!

You’re an agent sustaining and extending God’s kingdom in the present! Go make a difference in the world!!!

Healing is Divine and you have a right to it as a Child of God. It is a product of God’s sovereign providence to secure our wholeness in spite of a breakdown. Healing is something total. It affects your soul, body and spirit. Many things plague our humanity and it hinders our progress in destiny. My aim in this post is to make you see healing as an act of God reaching out and delivering you from the pit you must have been sunk as well as a deliberate decision to be whole again.

As much as healing is divine, there’s also a human participation in it; where we partner with divinity to enact His sovereign will of wholeness here on earth. You must get to know that Healing is also a choice you’d have to make. God is saying you’ve stayed too long where you’ve been. It’s your choice to walk into your freedom. Healing is available but you’ve got to be dissatisfied with where you are and long for the healing that God has provided for you. In fact, he has provided all that pertains to life and godliness.

The path of healing is a path you must be willing to take. It’s a choice to make. Many times, many people only understand healing from the stand point of physical wholeness. I believe it’s much more than that. Healing is a way of reconstructing and building our minds into the right frame such that all that God wants to do can always find expression in us. Pain and betrayal has turned many into monsters, yet there’s a part of them inside that says “You’re not like this! This is not you!” That is the voice of healing and deliverance calling out to you.

I perceive that we’re in a critical moment in history where the future of many generations is being determined by our current actions. I also believe that one of the critical actions we’d need to take as a people looking forward to change, transformation and deliverance in our lives and nation is to heal from pain, depression and everything that has kept us down. I sense that pain and sadness has characterized our generation. People carry heavy burdens everywhere and are blaming situations, circumstances and people for their predicament. They no longer have a calm and pure spirit. Even the situation has become an idol to some while others pride themselves in it. While some of these reasons may be true, God is saying that it’s time to arise! It’s time to insist on your own salvation and deliverance. You’ve cried enough. You’ve wept enough! You’ve blamed people enough! It’s time to insist on what God has said about you. It’s enough that people hurt you, but you shouldn’t remain there.

The healing you may probably need is to be able to see again, love again, give again or even surrender again. For some, it would mean deconstructing mindsets and belief systems that has built a negative stronghold in your mind, forgiving and letting go of past hurt and pain, finding courage to pursue great things again, insisting that you’d rise above every limitation that has been the norm for you, finding purpose in the midst of pain.

Healing in this season isn’t just for our physical bodies. It’s for the soul and spirit as well. It’s for those with wounded and broken spirits. God is releasing his healing grace upon all who read this post and as many that have resolved to no longer stay where they used to be.

Healing is your heritage! Choose to heal!

I’m particularly reminded of the story of a man who always sat by a pool, in the then city of Jerusalem, and had been repeating the same cycle for 38years. He was desperately in need of healing for he was lame. This pool where he daily sat was called the “pool of Bethesda” - which when translated could mean “house of grace” or “house of mercy” apart from the fact that it had five porches. The pool was home to many people like him who needed healing by the hand of the Lord. They knew there was an atmosphere that was just right for the healing they desire to be fully theirs. They were spiritual people who recognized the stirring of the pool that causes healing. They were sure God could so much dwell in a place, so much that the possibilities that exist in the realm of God could become manifest in their physical domain. Beyond the healing of their physical bodies, their soul needed Sabbath - rest. The desperate cry of this man was that no one was willing to help him claim his portion of healing in God.

Surprisingly, Jesus Christ showed up to prove to him that he could now enter into the very portion he desired in God, because Christ Himself is the lord of the Sabbath. He only could command rest into the soul of the young man. This may be the story for you. You’ve probably been in the same cycle of pain and regrets and frustration for a number of years. You sincerely desire healing. You’ve been in the circle of spiritual people (maybe even born again) and it’s been the same cycle. Maybe certain conditions seem to be home to you already; probably a sickness, an addiction, a negative pattern. I can boldly tell you that the time of the stirring of the pool, that would occasion your healing, has come. You might have seen God do it for others and you’re thinking when it would be your turn. I can boldly say, “it’s now your turn”.

The Lord of the Sabbath is in the midst of you, moving and brooding; turning chaos into order. He really wants to step in. He wants to relieve you of your burdens and occasion your rest. I believe so much that God in this season wants to bring you into rest. Stay plugged in to Him. Don’t route your pain towards anyone else. Route your pain and burdens towards the lord of the Sabbath. There’s just an atmosphere you need to be under, that can occasion the healing you desire and I believe now is that season for that atmosphere. Hope is been restored into you. Life begins to well up on your inside. The grip of grief and sorrow is broken off you and your soul will now find rest in God. Trust God to give your Sabbath. He’s in the room!

Hey! How have you been? I sincerely hope you’ve been holding up well. And yes… it’s a new year! Thank God for making it to 2026 despite all the hurdles in 2025. I know it’s been a long time here. I battled thoughts of whether to continue or not and whether my writings really mattered at all. But recently, I’m beginning to see that using God’s gift in my life to bless and inspire people would be an expression of my honor and worship to Him and holding back will mean withholding what isn’t meant to be for just me in the first place. Some people even consistently reached out to me to encourage me to continue and I’m glad to be back here. I sincerely appreciate the feedbacks while I was away. I’m really grateful. I really rely on God’s grace and inspiration to be consistent this year because He’s my only source. I’m looking forward to an awesome journey with you all in 2026.

I have a simple message in this letter. I feel much led to write prophetically this time. As I’ve been pondering and meditating on what this year could be and what it might just mean for me as a person and for you, my dear reader,

something keeps coming to my heart; “AMEN”. 2025 had different shades for a lot of people and there are lots we can say about that year. As it is, some are still very skeptical about 2026 because they don’t know what to expect just yet. This was even why I was just so happy when one of Nigeria’s finest gospel ministers, Dunsin Oyekan released a song titled “AMEN”, mean while, I had been listening to “AMEN AMEN” by TY Bello and some other ministers featuring on the song and the message just seems to be the same. I just knew it’s a confirmation of what I can finally name this year and I know it’s not just going to be for me but for many others that will be reading this much later.

As it is, it’s already the beginning of a new year, with a lot of opportunities and goodies ahead. You might have suffered loss, pain, sorrow, disappointment, etc. in 2025 and it looks like there’s nothing to be hopeful for in this New Year. You don’t know whether to set any more goals or to work with the previous one set that are yet to be actualized. You have tried all you think is possible to reach the height you see yourself getting to but it’s still not looking like it.

My message for you, if you are in that category, is, it’s your “AMEN” season. It’s the time to arise and step out in faith. “AMEN” means “so be it”. It’s a season to align yourself with God’s design for you and name your year whatever He wants you to call it because it really will be so this year. It’s not a time to ponder on the negatives and hoping for disappointment because if you keep thinking that way, it really will be so for you. It’s time to use your words prophetically so that your live can follow God’s course. It’s not a time to be idle and complacent. It’s a time to encourage yourself in the lord, find faith and take action because it really will be so. This year shall so much be your season of answered prayers. It’ll be 5years in one because God will grant speed to your achievements. For some, it’s a time to take actions on the things God has inspired you to do because just as He’s impressed it on your heart, it shall indeed be so! It’s time to stand on your guard and insist that things must work out for you just as God has promised you because it’s your “AMEN” season. He said so and it shall indeed come to pass. It’s time to launch out and be audacious, because, by the word of God, you’d be walking by precision and accuracy this year. God will be confirming His words to you, sending instructions your way and He’d be sending men as answers to your prayers this season. For some, their “AMEN” season may last a year or two or even more. Whichever it is for you as the Holy Spirit helps you discern, just make sure to take your portion. It’s a time where precision will meet action.

I also believe that as you’d be reading this, faith will be stirred up in your heart, strength will be infused in you and grace will come upon you to accomplish everything you determine to do. There will be neither delay nor stagnation any longer. It’s your “AMEN” season.

I believe it's that time of the year again where we're beginning to wind up on some things and we're moved to start checking out our New Year resolutions to see if we've been able to actually hit most of our targets. For some, by now, they think they've done quite well. For some others, they don't think they took the past ten months seriously. Some might as well argue that they're just in-between. Irrespective, we've begun journeying in November, having less than 60 days into 2025. 

You must have started to ask yourself some critical questions as to whether you were true to yourself in achieving your goals for the year or you just didn't get serious. My message to you in this post is quite simple - Count your blessings.

I'm counting my blessings this season as I celebrate two years since I started writing newsletters in November 2022 and God's been so good. I am grateful that I began writing in the middle of a quite challenging period of my life and irrespective of that, I've been sustained all through.

In the last two years, I've sometimes not been consistent like I should. I've compared myself with so many people that do things that are thriving and are worth emulating thinking I'm just here doing something that really might not matter. I've also sometimes blamed God why my situation has to be just different from the others. I've feigned strength many times when I was actually very weak inside. But, here I am! I made it this far. Not that I've overcome all struggles on my path, but at least, I already won a few.

Maybe this just sounds like you or your current situation. I sincerely do love you and I empathize with you. I'm so sorry you missed out on some opportunities earlier in the year. I'm sorry you lost that friend or relative despite the prayers and efforts. I'm sorry you had to deal with that situation all alone with no one to tell your burdens. I'm sorry you got weary and gave up at some point. 

You see the disappointment, set-back, pain, trauma and so on you've had to go through all along, it's part of a story God is writing with you. He doesn't want you to give up now neither does He want you to be unhappy. He expects you to be full of gratitude irrespective of the situation.

I'll like you to look back at the past ten months and begin to list out your wins; from your academic feats to your career and business feats to some other personal development feats that you've achieved so far compared to the one you didn't achieve. You'd see that in no little way, you've grown, you've changed and you've probably shifted levels without knowing. I'd even encourage one habit that I do exhibit which is "journaling". You can get a jotter or even use the notepad on your phone and write as many things that come to mind; from the seemingly little achievements to the biggest. You'd realize how light you'd feel thereafter. Journaling is a very good habit that will definitely help you in various aspects of your life. With journaling you're able to pen down your thoughts and life experiences as well as bring life to your imaginations. You'd even be able think out loud.

Counting your blessings make you see beauty in ashes. It makes you heal faster from pain and hurts. It reignites hope into you for tomorrow. It sets you free from needless internal battles. It makes you see life in the right perspective.

The times we're in may be tough, count your blessings still! There's still much time to make changes, to set new targets and to focus on things that matter. There's a lot more to do. You're not permitted to wallow in regret and worry! As you count your blessings, remember you have quite a lot ahead and God's interested in what lies ahead of you. Hence, He wants you to be grateful so you can be fit for the challenges of the future. You're just so close to the next feat you're hoping to achieve. 

I pray sincerely for goodness in your life and Joy into your heart as you count your blessings and make effort to get back on your journey into greatness. May God's peace that surpasses all understanding fill your heart in this season.

Understanding the season you are in is perhaps one of the finest skills you’d acquire in your life. Don’t start to fight your seasons, but start framing your strategy by carefully observing the trends in your timeline. A period of isolation is also a season and it’ll come and as well pass. Always reckon that whenever you see changes in your experiences, relationships, opportunities, inner stirrings or circumstances; a new season could be upon you – calling you into discovery, retreat, wisdom and action.

Your moment of isolation would definitely be tough and depressing especially for those that have really had it all smooth before now with nothing really to bother them or be worried about. It could be a time of severe sickness, a time of financial stress and constraints, a time of deep emotional distress and pain. It could be doubt. It could be bereavement. It could be persecution. It could be adversity. It could be conflict and betrayal in relationships. Sometimes it could also be a time of diligent process divinely orchestrated by God that might demand that you have to go through a season of pain and agony just so you could become fit for the kind of destiny you carry. It just can come in different ways, depending on the circumstances surrounding it. And most times you’d have to journey through this alone. It’s just the way certain seasons are.

Now, my aim in this post isn’t to magnify your problem or push you into a feeling of fear. My aim is to see how you can make the best use of such periods as these for our greatest advantage and to find a more reasonable way of discerning seasons in our lives. Certainly, everyone would have to go through a season such as this for us to become thoroughly built and mature. Based on certain personal experiences, I have come to see that this period cannot but come and that it is necessary for them to come so that we’ll be total, whole and mature. Sometimes, the reason you might have to be plunged into this season is so that you can be adequately prepared for certain blessings that are to come your way in the future. Then, you become bold, courageous and resilient to go through any tough time. So while you go through this season of isolation, it’s not just meant for you to go through it, you’re meant to also know why it is necessary for you to go through such season especially on your journey into destiny.

I am reminded of two men who once went through this and thought all odds were against them until they were diligent and patient enough to see to what end they had to go through all that they went through. One was David and the other was Jephthah. David was anointed king at seventeen, yet, he still had to roam the streets as a shepherd, commoner and refugee for thirteen years. Little did he know that he was to embody the kind of qualities that the ultimate shepherd – Jesus Christ who was to come much later was going to possess. All the experiences David had while tending his father’s flock all alone in the field as a shepherd that he was, and the virtues and qualities that he had built through all those experiences, was to give a whole nation what to expect in the great shepherd to come – Jesus Christ. He literally became rejected. I believe he must have felt very alone during this period. He must have asked God at some point, “why me?” Probably you’re asking such questions too…

Jephthah also was utterly rejected by his kinsmen and siblings because he was born by a prostitute who just got married into their father’s family. They thought he was an illegitimate child born into their family who just wanted to come and reap where he had not sown. He got kicked out of his family house with no inheritance at all to live on and he had to go dwell in the woods all alone till he became a mighty man and had men at his beck and call. Someone chased out of his own family with nothing to live on now became one who was referred as a mighty warrior. He would later save Israel from the oppression they faced from the ammonites. You’d wonder, “How did he become a mighty man of warrior all alone in the woods?” There’s just something about moments of isolation that allows God to do the deeper work within us.

You might be wondering, why the stories? As you may have seen, that might be the fate of someone who’s to turn out to be a problem-solver and a change agent in his/her generation. I sincerely hope this ignites hope and faith in you so that while those seasons last, you’ll be able to surrender yourself into the hands of the sovereign God so He can mould you into the version of who He actually intended you to be and use you for His purpose even if it’s the devil’s handiwork that brought you to that point in the first place. Sometimes you really might not understand that most times God uses such period as this to do the deeper work on your inside; especially when you can’t seem to make sense of your calamities. Human perspective says, “Aha, you’ve lost this, you’ve lost that. You’ve caused this, you’ve caused that. You’ve ruined this, you’ve ruined that. End your life!” But God says, “No. No. You’re in the cave. It’s time to reroute your life. Now’s the time to start anew!” You really are not alone. I AM says He’s with you all through.

Now in this post, my focus would be why we have to live the way our actual identity dictates it. This is where the reality of our true essence lies – to know why we even had to exist in the first place. You probably might be wondering why this post took so long to come. The journey of discovery of identity was one that was necessary for me in the past few months; even till now. Hence, the little delay. But I’m glad to be back and I hope to be consistent moving forward. And I must say that I have actually discovered and learnt so much. So, I thought to share what I learnt during my discovery season.

I believe since the year is still young, this is just the best time to actually begin to live worthily and intentionally. There’s no better time than now to truly discover who you really are on the inside. Many people had set high hopes upon entering 2024. Many also decided to set out on the journey to discover themselves within and till now they still haven’t figured so much about themselves. They are still in a dilemma as to what course they are to set their lives on and I think this post would bring enlightenment to someone who finds him/herself in this kind of dilemma.

Many have always thought that we were actually redeemed and brought into God’s kingdom just so we could escape the horrors of hell fire. While that may be true, it isn’t the complete truth. If it were so, we would have just eloped to heaven upon salvation. We didn’t exist on this side of eternity by happenstance. It’s for a definite reason why we had to be born into this world. We existed here on earth so we could have dominion over every other thing that God created since we were created in the very image of God. The reason why God had to step in so we could reclaim our identity through Christ is so that we could exercise our fore-dominion here on earth and together cooperate with God in bringing the heaven experience to our world so that we can actually feel what heaven is like before we actually go there finally. We weren’t supposed to find it scary to go back to where we came from. If heaven is actually our home, we should be longing for it every time. So it’s not really a matter of eloping to heaven. It’s about occupying till He master comes. But we couldn’t take over and influence our world just as he has ordained it with our corrupted and defiled nature. Hence, the need for a restoration of our divine nature, so we could live up to the father’s expectations of us. Nothing will please the father much more than to discover that his children are actually living as they’re meant to be – fulfilling the reason for which they were created.

As mentioned earlier, you were created for dominion; to take territories for God as we reign as kings here on the earth. This we do by influencing every aspect of human society with the kingdom culture even in our secular/corporate world. As soon as you get to become aware and conscious of the kind of identity you have, you have to know as well that, it is for you to influence and dominate every sphere of the human society, that you were given a higher nature and identity in Christ which supersedes whatever image you may have of yourself or that people may have of you. At this point, you get to know that the opinion of people about you doesn’t really count as much as that of your father in heaven. So you should know that you’re not just a believer or a church person. You’re a kingdom person because of where you now belong.

Since creation, the human spirit has always sought for two things which somewhat describes our identity as humans in a way, which are: meaningful purpose and hope for a better tomorrow. There’s no human being on earth that isn’t constantly faced with the thoughts of these two things on a daily basis. Surprisingly the answer isn’t going to be found outside of us, but within us. God designed every creation with a purpose for existence and for man it won’t be an exception. Recently I have come to see that the most reason why the Gen.Zs battle with identity crisis is because they have not just found the way to really discover who they really are and who they’re meant to be. And in the quest of their search for true identity, they dabble into so many things that rather diminish them even to the core of their being. They begin to find their identity in stuff like homosexuality and many other demeaning stuff and they’ll say, “I’m just this way. This is who I am.” For this reason, famous king Solomon said he has searched under the sun and he’s seen that all that is done in this world is merely vanity – futile, chasing after wind(Ecclesiastes 1:14). He went further to say that God created everything beautiful and appropriate in its own time and that He’s planted eternity - a sense of purpose and a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy except God( the way amplified version of the bible puts it) and man can still not fully grasp it except he finds his place in God his creator. In essence, you can’t know who you are if you don’t know whose you are.

Purpose is where your true essence lies. It’s your own contribution in making the world a better place by influencing every aspect of the human society with kingdom culture. You don’t need be to be travelling here and there preaching and ministering before you can actually fulfill your purpose in God. Fulfilling purpose doesn’t mean that you become a particular thing all your life. Fulfilling purpose means that you display the manifold wisdom of god through the variety of potentials He has placed inside of you. You can fulfill purpose in the work place as well and not necessarily in the church environment. Living out your purpose affects the immediate world around you. It’s high time our view of purpose changed. There are seven major mountains that affect human culture where our influence as kingdom people is meant to be felt which are the: family mountain, mountain of business, mountain of arts and entertainment, media mountain, church mountain and the mountain of government. Living out purpose as kingdom people would mean that we have our influence reaching each of these mountains of the human society. Ultimately, living out purpose should influence every aspect of the human society such that God’s kingdom can be enforced in various spheres of human influence.

You should be reminded that you were meant to only sojourn on this side of eternity just for a while and very soon, unexpectedly, you’d go. But then, after you must have gone, can it be said that you were created beautifully and appropriately for a time such as the one you just spent here on earth? And by design, life was not meant to be enjoyed so we don’t get too comfortable here as sojourners. But only by living out purpose would you get to bring out enjoyment for yourself even in this cruel world. In a world where people bear many confused identities, getting to live out purpose with every sense of intentionality is the way you can truly be happy with yourself within and ultimately bring glory to God.

Now, It is one thing to know you are something and you worth for something.  But it is completely another thing to live life the exact way your true identity dictates it. We already know that we happened from the womb of just one person – God. As good as that sounds, it is still possible to find people who are still living in denial as though God didn’t mean what He said about them in His word.  There is a way of life that you’ve got to embrace as someone who was created in God’s image. There are things you must constantly do to ensure that you are constantly at the center of what God intends for you because your arch-enemy – the devil won’t fold his arms and watch you live out your original identity. All the devil wants is that you never amount to any good, and that, he’s constantly doing – day and night.  So you have got to guard jealously what you have. Getting to live life as you’re meant to be means you are now going to be living the higher life – the God-kind of life. Living the higher life calls for a lot of commitment, consecration and courage.  There are certain things that you ought to know that would help you to live the higher life confidently and successfully. 

I’ll love to share three of such things that could really help you live the actual you in Christ;

•   Intimacy and fellowship with God: This is just the best way to start living your true identity in Christ. We already have our lost relationship with the father restored through Jesus Christ by redemption but it doesn’t just stops there. It has to move on to fellowship; heart-to-heart connection with the father.  You were created in the image of God, though you have never seen him, yet, you can still see him, and that’s through his word – the Holy Scriptures. God’s word is where to know and see how your father looks like and how you’re meant to look like too. His word is like a mirror that reflects your true identity and image. You can’t get to please God if you don’t get familiar with him through an intimate relationship with him. You won’t get to know what he likes for you to do and what he doesn’t wants for you to do (how he wants you to pattern your life). As you do this, you get to know Him more intimately. And as you get intimate with your heavenly father, you get to become more like him because He begins to rub off his glory and influence on you. And as such, you get to be like him in everything. Ultimately, you get to live your original identity in Him.

•   Meditating on and confessing what God already said about you in His word:  As you get acquainted with your heavenly father and you begin to discover who you’re meant to be in Him, you begin to develop the consciousness of what you’ve already seen in your heavenly father through His word. As you develop this consciousness, the devil tries to deceive you in so many ways such that you may begin to doubt what you already know through God’s word.  Meditating and confessing what God says about you reminds you of who you are in God (one created in his image), what you are to him (His son/daughter) as well as what you carry (God’s seed of greatness). You’re meant to confess every time the realities of your new identity in Christ so that the consciousness of who you now belong to and who you are now hits your body, soul and spirit.

•   Daily renewal of your mind through God’s word: As you get to read God’s word and you constantly get yourself acquainted with him through it, you are constantly renewing your mind to begin to think as he would expect you to think. Your mind has to be postured in such a way that God can begin to impart his nature into you; which is the original nature you were created to live by from the very beginning. This can only be possible when God’s word fill your mind every day. You must get to feed your mind daily with God’s word. As you do that, you also get to set yourself free from whatever thoughts that the devil may constantly be bringing to your mind so you could forever remain in his hold. Remember, he won’t like to let go of you so easily once you get to discover who you’re meant to be in God. So, he devices any means just so he could bring you back; so you could remain in his trap. But as you get yourself immersed in the words of your Father, you get less afraid of his threats and devices and more confident in your Father who is able to grant grace to help you live the God-kind of life even in the face of opposition from the devil. He is also able to give the boldness to always confront the devil, with his words written in the Holy scriptures, whenever he tries to pull you back into his trap.

Eventually as you get to make use of these nuggets, you come to discover that all the devil has been presenting to you is actually a façade. You come to see that it’s actually beautiful to live life in Christ. Your father has everything prepared that is able to help you to live the higher life He’s called you to live. But it requires that you cooperate with Him by taking some diligent steps so that ultimately, you don’t just get to become like Him and live your true identity in all you do, but you get to be satisfied at most in him too.

Ever since, man has always had to deal with the problems of identity. And it became much difficult for man to identify himself with a particular identity because while he is struggling to see himself the way God sees him and live in that reality and consciousness, he still finds himself embattled with a feeling of inadequacy, emptiness and insufficiency on his inside. Then, he looks for a substitute just to be able see and feel himself in a certain way and that’s why succeeding generations have had to resort to many dastardly things just to be seen and perceived in a particular way and they’ve just had to keep up with this pace.

 Then, the question of “who then comes to restore our true essence as men created in the image of God?” arises in the hearts of subsequent generations of men. “Who then comes in to fill this vacuum of identity that is constantly been felt in our hearts?”

I’m so much convinced that the generation of men that does exist now is the generation of men crying silently in their hearts in this manner. We have always been a delight to God from the very beginning because we were created to give pleasure to him (Rev. 4:11). We were a product of God’s thoughts, so, He can’t but love his own creation.  But since God’s original creation was corrupted and deceived, God then made room for a recreation in Jesus Christ where we begin to live in the consciousness of His ownership of us, no longer by our efforts but by his compelling grace so that we might begin to bring pleasure to him just as He has ordained it from the very beginning. So we don’t have to dabble into many things just to be felt and perceived in a particular way. Jesus came to fill in that gap and vacuum and restored our true essence.

So eventually, you see that we were meant to be God’s own choice and delight and not to be at the mercy of the devil. We were destined for a great future. We ought to be an awesome wonder to behold everywhere we go. That’s the consciousness that God wants us to carry in our minds every time.

So in this season where God calls us to reflect on His redemptive work of God through Jesus Christ on the cross, God sees us as His children. We only need to embrace this reality and believe whatever He says to us through the Holy Scriptures. We are supposed to take on the new identity of recreation that God is offering to us through Jesus Christ. The best mirror to get the best image and reflection of ourselves is in God through the Holy Scriptures. God’s word is just the safest haven to be when we intend to escape the harsh realities of life. It’s in God our lives can find true meaning and fulfillment. It’s in Him we can find what there really is to our lives and destinies. It’s in him we can get to find out how we came to be on the face of the earth. It’s in him we can truly be free; free of fear, condemnation and pity and get to live by his favor.

It’s high time we got conscious of the seed that we carry on our inside; God’s seed of purpose and ownership. We ought to get connected to the true source of hope and life, Jesus Christ. In him, we get to know our identity – Who we truly are and who we’re meant to be.

As interesting as relationships are, they can sometimes be very destructive if not properly managed. Everyone always has that person to call when in danger or in a time of dire need. The thing really is, relationships goes beyond what you'd merely get physically. It's a thing of the heart. It's something that has the ability to influence your entire life. It has a way of influencing your reasoning.

Relationships, ever since God created Man, had always been a necessity for him to live functionally as a human being on this side of eternity. But as necessary as it is, it's still a choice. You have it in your power to allow certain relationships to influence you and you also have it in your power to disallow them if they no longer serve any good purpose. You know people by the way they reason, talk, their perception about issues, etc. And you relate with people from this standpoint. Most of the time, as humans, we get to choose friends by emotions or out of pity and that's why most relationships hit the rock after a very little time of getting along. Overtime, relationships built on emotions don't last. It's now time for self evaluation. Can you review your relationships and check the motives and reasons for having them?

This year ought to be a year of intentionality for you in terms of your relationships. The year is still young, so to say, and there are still room to make changes in your relationships that'll guarantee you an amazing year moving forward. It's time to ask yourself some sensitive questions as to whether you'll continue to keep the company you presently keep or you have to change them.

Some people might be quick to say that there are literally no true friends in this world anymore owing to the betrayals they've gotten from quite a number of the friends they once had. While that may be true, It's not enough to desire to have a good friend or a good company. You must also be one yourself. In all the relationships you've had, how well have you treated your so-called friends? How much of positive influence have you robbed off on them? These are sincere questions you ought to be asking yourself. Our relationships with other people tells a lot about us and about where we're really headed in life. So you've got to choose your company wisely. You need not bow to any pressure from your friends that might cause a dent to your values and standards.

As you move on this year, be careful not to fall in the wrong company because it can hamper your progress. Meeting and moving with the right people can take you closer to your goals for this year. Eventually, you might hit those goals if you consistently move with the right people and associate with people that'll only add value and have positive influence to your life.

Your life before God is a like a blank script with a lot of scenes already lined up. You will now have to determine the characters that would play out in those scenes; either according to God's written script or according to the script you've written for yourself. Give God a chance in your relationships and He'll make a beautiful story out of His written script for your life.

It's a new year again!!! Welcome to year 2023. Regardless of your experience in 2022, you have a brand new year before you.

I sincerely appreciate everyone who's been following my posts since last year. I really can't appreciate you enough. God bless you all. I know that as we welcome one another to the dawn of a new year, many things are beginning to run through the minds of so many people. While some are filled with ecstasy for the year ahead, some are are filled with regrets of how they could have made the previous year count but weren't able to do so. Some probably might have had a lot of losses last year including the loss of a loved one. I know all these can be really painful.

But, hey... It's a new year already! Just before you begin to count the number of losses and disappointments you had last year, I have few words for you as you begin the journey of a new year. I know you had a rough year and you're just trying to get over some of those rough experiences. Maybe you're even about complaining and ranting to God because you don't think there's anything at all to be grateful to Him for. Can you just take a pause? Take a few moments off and reflect on your journey in 2022 and begin to consider how far God's grace and mercy have brought you.

Don't begin to count the losses you had last year as you begin 2023, instead, count your blessings and bless God for them in anticipation of His faithfulness this new year, because you know, He's able to make 2023 better and remarkable for you. If you'll ask me, an attitude of gratitude is just the way to begin this new year. I can assure you that it's a new beginning for you this year if you can begin with an act of gratitude to God this new year. It's not a time to begin to complain. It's a time for thoughtful thanksgiving in anticipation of God's goodness this year.

A new beginning could imply different things to different people. It could mean that you start off the year by committing your ways into the hands of God trusting Him to satisfy your heart desires. It could mean that you get to walk closely with God. It could also require that you do things differently so that you can get a desired result. It could mean that you let go of certain people who have caused you pains and hurts in times past. It could mean that you let go of certain relationships that haven't really added value to your existence. It could mean that you actually strategize and clearly write out what you want to achieve this year and take necessary actions to achieve them. It could mean that you move close to people who have once treaded the path you want to start pursuing and to learn from their wealth of experience and skills. It could mean that you let go of fear and procrastination and go after what you really want. It could mean that you let go of the past and move right into the great things the future holds. It could mean you take stock of last year and look at the things you could have done better, and work more on them this year. You may also need to correct the mistakes you made last year that cost you a lot.

This new beginning could mean anything to anyone at this time depending on how you decide to look at it.

Interestingly, God also wants a new beginning for you as much as you might want for yourself and He's promised in His word that He's making a way for you (Isaiah 43:18-19). But will you let Him begin what He's planned to do with your life this year? Will it not be your attitudes and indecisions that'll hinder Him? God might want to achieve great things through you but He can't successfully achieve it in your life without you cooperating with Him to bring it to manifestation.

God's ready to go all out for you this year. He's ready to begin something great and mighty in your life if you'll allow Him.

Now, the natural man has emotions and one of the basic emotional needs of man is to feel loved and accepted. And overtime, man has gone lengths just to meet this need. But most of the time, man experiences disatisfaction and rejection, because he doesn't really find the solution to what his emotions really crave for. Man then goes in search of luxuries for some measure of satisfaction. Nonetheless, he finds out that his need still remains unmet. He goes in search of relationships to see if he'll be accepted and loved. Unfortunately, the need seems not met. Man later discovers that one could buy his way into the hearts of the sons of men by doing something to please them in exchange for love. Man finds out that though the idea is good, yet it doesn't satisfy all that he needs emotionally instead it enslaves. He finds out that he needs to give material things to satisfy the wants of man so that he can feel loved and accepted. Once he's not able to meet up with this obligation, he has to return to his former state of loneliness and disatisfaction. So man does all in his power to meet the physical needs of others in exchange for the ultimate need of his soul. Hence, the betrayals. Man also discovers that other people have this same need he's hoping to meet. Who then can help the other? What a pity!

I know that's been our story ever since we got to this side of eternity. And we've been in search for people; even if it's just a person, that'll fill this vacuum for us but we haven't found anyone yet. But someone notices all of these and decides to come and fill that gap and give us absolute satisfaction that transcends this side of eternity. This person offers his love free to all and sundry but pays the price with his life that all may enjoy this beautiful love that neither manipulates nor enslaves. I know you'll like to know this wonderful fellow. His name is Jesus, the Christ. The firstborn of all creation. I got to discover few years back that He offers true love. He says true love is his love offered to our hearts and it's what fills our soul and makes us truly satisfied and accepted despite our messes. (1 John 4:10 CEV)

He describes what true love is this way: He says true love doesn't backstab, doesn't keep malice nor bear grudges, doesn't hate, doesn't envy, is always considerate of others, is everlasting, is unending, understands people, things, situations, is peace to the soul, is compassionate and merciful, is discerning and it makes sacrifice(1cor. 13:4-8a). He says true love is a personality which is Himself and if we accept to have Him live in us, He'll help us to be an embodiment of love to other people and we can then change the narrative of "betrayal" that's now everywhere. So, we don't have to keep ourselves in the bondage that we've created for ourselves by trying to please one another to gain love. We can now love genuinely too when we receive Christ. As we receive Him, our nature as humans is overturned and replaced with a nature of His spirit; the true love nature(Romans 5:5). We can now love people we term as "unlovable" by His help. We now don't need to please people just to gain their love. We now have something better to even give out to the world. It won't be so easy to love people wholeheartedly despite their flaws and bad sides, but His strength is made mighty in our weaknesses.

Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]…

In this Yuletide, even as we look forward to entering a new year, the best gift to offer ourselves is the gift of Jesus Christ. I'm sure we must have had a lot of betrayals in our past years, even till date. But He wants to change the narrative for us and give us something that's much more precious and valuable, so that irrespective of what we face from the hands of humans, we'll be very much satisfied in Him. This is just the best way to end year 2022 and journey through the new year 2023; an attitude and nature of love towards God and towards people.

A quick one: I'd like you to pick up your phone and either call or send a message to people you've for long termed "unlovable" and those with whom you've not been in good terms with. Show them that you really love and value them.

Y'know it'll be good you end the year on a good note and begin a new year with the right attitude.🤗

I know you have many of such questions that beg for answers. And oh, you so much wish you can find someone who'd answer those burning questions within you and give you lasting peace from all the troubles going on within you! But could you take a little break and reflect on how your life has been, and the grace and favour you've enjoyed. Think about all that life has offered you; even with the struggles and challenges and take a little time out to be grateful to God for them.(1 Thess. 5:18)

A lot of times, you wish you had control over a lot of things that happen around your life but you might have as well forgotten that it's only those things that are within the scope of your choices and reasoning that you really have control over. So if you really don't have control over how certain things happen, then leave them in God's hand. In the end, they will turn out for your good.

Why can't you be grateful? Why worry over things that might not be so necessary? You might not understand how things are happening around your life now and the way things are unfolding, but, I want you to know that He's constantly working everything out for your good(Romans 8:28). One thing you must do is to learn to trust God all the way even if the unexpected happens. Your gratitude to God shows how much you're able to trust Him even for better things in the future.

I'll want you to stop brooding over those wishes and why they haven't happened and be grateful for all He's done already for you. Be grateful for the opportunities you've had and have enjoyed. Be grateful for the luxuries you have enjoyed and the ones you're enjoying. Even, be grateful for the times when you expected things to happen a certain way and they just didn't happen. In short, be grateful for everything you get, enjoy and experience in life; whether good or bad.

God is working all together for your good even while you're grateful for the ones He's done. If He wills, He can let those wishes come to pass. And if He so wills, He might also decide not to grant them. Trust me, I've also had a share of such experiences and I know how depressing it can be and how hard it is to get up and move forward. In all of these experiences, I learnt to be grateful and since then I had never had to worry about so much because I know that I'm better off without certain luxuries in life.

Know that you're also better off without certain luxuries in life. Know that there are so many things you don't need but you always wish you had them. Know that you're better in that position that you're in than someone out there. So, eventually, you realize that there are so many things to be grateful for in life when you take a deep reflection inwards.

A lot of these things you refuse to be grateful for are really blessings and goodness in disguise if only you can see them the way God sees them - they are opportunities for you to be a better, balanced and responsible person. Learn to shift your eyes off momentary challenges around your life and look up to God with hope and expectation with an act of gratitude (Phillipians 4:6-8). A lifestyle of gratitude is actually the key to staying happy and joyful even in the midst of unlikely and unpalatable situations, because you know that no matter how hard it seems now, there are better days ahead of you.

And if you worry so much now and kill yourself, who gets to enjoy the goodness and prosperity that lie ahead of you?

I sincerely root out for you and I believe you'll become better as you continue to live life with an attitude of gratitude.
