House Speaker Sexton Pushing For Special Session To Pass Tennessee Property Tax Cap - there were several great bills in our last session to address property taxes and they went nowhere. Now they want to call a special session? Monty Fritts and Bud Hulsey both had great bills. They each did something different and both should have been passed. The last session appeared to me that they put out an order to kill any bill sponsored by Bud Hulsey and Monty Fritts…..just sayin’ - Is it a coincidence that now that Nashville business owners are whining about property taxes the legislature makes a move??? Like I said they had an excellent opportunity during session when the people wanted this done and the people as usual were ignored. Now that business owners in Nashville want it done Sexton is asking for a special session. ARTICLE

FLOCK CAMERA UPDATE: Sullivan County in East Tennessee passed a unanimous resolution to end the use of FLOCK cameras and the county will not be renewing its contract with FLOCK. This is what happens when a community comes together in huge numbers. They did their research and they had the facts to prove what they were being told by the Flock people were lies. And of course there is the little issue of violating our God given rights protected by the US and TN Constitutions

Award Winning Metro Nashville Teacher Resigns: ‘Our Children Cannot Read or Write. They Cannot Do Basic Math’ - it with our new DC Governor education in Tennessee will not get any better. All she will do is take more tax payer money as if money were the problem. To this day we STILL have Common Core State Standards in our public schools although our elected will say that is not true. Well I have proof it is true. All they did was change the name and move things around. They never provided any cross-walks which they always did in the past when new standards were implemented. Standard writing experts Dr. Sandra Stotsky and James Milgram (who refused to approve the Common Core standards when they worked on the validation committee for the standards). They both sent me their review of the new TN Standards back in 2015. They said the standards ARE Common Core and in the few places that TN did make changes those changes were worse than the original Common Core. Understand this, they DO NOT want your kids to read or do math. I am not talking about the teachers…..this is coming from much higher up than your teacher. The US Dept of Education (which is totally unconstitutional) was created for the complete opposite of improving education and they totally succeeded in the mission to destroy the academic excellence we once had in America. Reading is the foundation of all learning. They detroyed that first with bringing in sight-say whole word reading in place of phonics. Reading and comprehending what you read is how people can decipher lies from truth. If you can read and understand what you read you can do anything. Dumbed-down citizens are easy to control and easy to lie to and get away with it. I don’t care what you think about the school your children attend in TN there is not ONE public school in TN worth sending any child too if you actually want them to learn anything. Some private and religious schools are not much better. Several years ago TN passed a law that required TN public schools to teach cursive writing. Does YOUR child or grandchild’s school teach cursive? Can they read and write cursive? I know for a fact many schools do not follow this law. WHY? Because the teachers themselves cannot read or write in cursive. That was one flaw in the law….they should make it mandatory that in order to be a teacher in TN that they can read and write in cursive. Cursive writing is faster than printing and it develops parts of the brain that develop motor skills and other neurological functions……gee, no wonder they don’t want our kids to learn cursive. Every effort in TN to cap property tax has been thwarted by Senator Briggs as Chairman of the Senate State and Local Government Committee. This committee under the leadership of Senator Briggs also stopped a bill to vet all candidates place on any election ballot in Tennessee and Restoring State Sovereignty Through Nullification Act. Briggs is bad for Tennessee and we finally have a candidate that is everything Briggs is not. Briggs follows orders from leadership. We need elected that do what the people elected them to do not what leadership tells them to do.

If you live in Senator Briggs district PLEASE vote for Kent Morrell. We must get these RINO legislators out of the Tennessee legislature. The gentleman in the endorsement below is Mr. Arthur Laffer. Mr. Laffer is an internationally known economist who worked for Ronald Reagan and created “Reaganomics.” He was very influential in capping property taxes in CA many, many years ago. While CA has high home prices their property taxes are not high in comparison. He was also given an award for economics by President Trump. TNCSS worked with Mr. Laffer last year to get a property tax bill passed in TN and that effort was again not successful. If you want real change in TN; if you want to maintain what we have in TN it won’t happen if you keep electing the same bureaucrats that are on a different page.

Monty Fritts as Governor of TN is also committed to restraining property tax increases. He too tried to put brakes in place and was thwarted. He also tried to eliminate sales tax on food. These are all things he will work with the Assembly to do when elected as our next Governor.

Today, to my surprised I received the first newsletter from June Lake. I have been following June Lake since it bought the land and put up a sign. I wonder how many Tennesseans that have bought into June Lake know it is a proposed “20 Minute City?” How many Tennesseans know what a 15 Minute/20 Minute City is all about? If I change the name to what it will be in the future perhaps you will get the message. They are to become “15/20 Minute Prisons.” Here are a couple picture I use a while back when presenting on 15-Minute Cities. Chattanooga is also going to be a 15-Minute City. That is straight from their Mayor’s mouth. He said maybe even at 10-Minute City. No matter how many minutes you put in the title they are destined to be prisons. Everything you could possibly want in a 15 Minute walk all sounds so great until you are not allowed outside your 15-Minute City. “They” know Americans lust for convenience is how they can steal your freedom, liberty and privacy. In all fairness I looked to see if John Rose or Marsha Blackburn had anything scheduled for next week. Here are the results.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn has no public meetings or debates scheduled for next week. She recently declined a televised debate invitation for July 20 citing "scheduled votes in the Senate," and her campaign has not announced alternative dates or town halls. Reports indicate she has avoided joint forums with Rose and state Rep. Monty Fritts throughout the primary cycle. My comment: Marsha has declined EVERY debate invitation from Monty Fritts and John Rose.

Rep. John Rose has a scheduled event next week as part of his "Tennessee True Tour," with a stop confirmed for Greeneville on Tuesday. He launched this statewide tour to engage with voters across all 95 counties, contrasting his approach with opponents who have held fewer public events.

I also found something that he will be in Williamson County on Tuesday, July 21. There is very little information or details and the only schedule visit I could find was the one for Williamson County. The event above I found also but again no location, time or any details. I looked on his website and there is nothing. Doesn’t he want people to know where he will be visiting?

Tennessee Stand for Health Freedom Voter Guide - Primary for Governor - How do the top candidates rate when it comes to health freedom?? - One important fact….the Supreme Court just voted to give Monsanto a pesticide liability shield which means if you get cancer or any other damage from their product you cannot sue and there is no chance for any compensation. This is worse than the liability shield given to big pharma for vaccine injury because you can file for compensation (although you rarely get anything) for a vaccine death or injury.

This is a big deal and the states must stand up and exercise their states rights. This is an unconstitutional OPINION and the states have the authority to nullify (refuse to comply) We need to insure we get the right person in office as Governor.
